- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbings not true. Good Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother for st PA, I don't join join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you're going to do you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn. You haven't got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out. Turn the water the water got come. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thing? Uh huh, I show will good marted?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig me
- 2:08Speaker 1: now wanted all it's Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Well all right, I've learned something and it sharing time.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 2:27Speaker 1: all that he allows me to learn in my life.
- 2:32Speaker 1: One of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 2:40Speaker 1: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 2:45Speaker 1: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say
- 2:49Speaker 1: is in every challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned
- 2:57Speaker 1: something so so valuable. So here's what I've You know,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 3:06Speaker 1: different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key to having
- 3:13Speaker 1: more now. I don't know how that sound to you,
- 3:20Speaker 1: but I can't tell you how true it is. God
- 3:25Speaker 1: being fair and just as he really is. He really is.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He's a fair and a just God. What's most beneficial
- 3:32Speaker 1: to us is he happens to be full of mercy
- 3:37Speaker 1: and grace. And I'm telling you something, man, I've probably
- 3:44Speaker 1: benefited from his grace and mercy more than anything else.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I mean, really, man, if it wasn't for him just
- 3:54Speaker 1: forgiving me, and then for him just touching my life
- 4:01Speaker 1: the way he has, I mean, I'm I'm not hearing
- 4:04Speaker 1: this position today. I'm just not. But a funny thing
- 4:09Speaker 1: has happened along the way, even to you. If you
- 4:12Speaker 1: look at it, is it your genuine appreciation and gratitude
- 4:18Speaker 1: has been the key to you having more for your
- 4:22Speaker 1: continued blessings and for making room for having to open
- 4:28Speaker 1: up and pour out blessings that you don't have room
- 4:30Speaker 1: enough to receive. If you look at it, see God
- 4:34Speaker 1: being a fair and just God, which he is, why
- 4:37Speaker 1: would he put more on you than you can bad?
- 4:43Speaker 1: If you've noticed everything that's happened in your life, if
- 4:47Speaker 1: you're still here, you've made it. You don't Forget how
- 4:51Speaker 1: rough it was, got that but you made it. Forget
- 4:56Speaker 1: what it sent you through when it hide made you
- 4:58Speaker 1: feel you made it. Now, what makes people give up
- 5:05Speaker 1: and you hear about people committing suicide, is they leave
- 5:08Speaker 1: the God out of their life and they start allowing
- 5:12Speaker 1: that other voice to control. And if it's really true
- 5:15Speaker 1: that God never puts more on you than you can bear,
- 5:18Speaker 1: as long as you stay connected to God, you can
- 5:22Speaker 1: get through anything. But you lose that connection, you lose
- 5:26Speaker 1: that communication, you lose that relationship with him. If you're
- 5:32Speaker 1: not having a relationship with God, then who you're having
- 5:35Speaker 1: a relationship with now? And it ain't but two forces
- 5:40Speaker 1: at work at all time. It's good and evil, it's
- 5:46Speaker 1: positive and negative. It's God's satan. Now, this is at
- 5:53Speaker 1: work all the time. So if you're not being positive
- 5:57Speaker 1: about everything, you leave room for negat activity to step in.
- 6:02Speaker 1: If you're not trying to be righteous in your way,
- 6:05Speaker 1: then you allow evil to step in. If you don't
- 6:10Speaker 1: work on your relationship with God, come on, now, look
- 6:14Speaker 1: who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking you
- 6:20Speaker 1: to understand that God never puts more on you than
- 6:23Speaker 1: you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's a fact. Okay. Now with that fact in mind,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:32Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:36Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:40Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:46Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:49Speaker 1: would he give you some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:58Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:01Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:06Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:09Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:12Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:15Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude because it's the key to
- 7:22Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:26Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:29Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:38Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:42Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:46Speaker 1: you've shown no grat no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum. I mean, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 8:00Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:03Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:06Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had begun
- 8:11Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:16Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part
- 8:21Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy. You know, I asked
- 8:24Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:28Speaker 1: for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:34Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:39Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:49Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:58Speaker 1: this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes along
- 9:02Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:09Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:13Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:16Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was, instead
- 9:19Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what,
- 9:22Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:24Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:27Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:36Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:39Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:44Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:47Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pour out these blessings that
- 9:49Speaker 1: you won't have room enough to receive. You got to
- 9:52Speaker 1: act like you're glad for what you got in order
- 9:54Speaker 1: to get more. You feel me, Let's go st morning show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. The time is here. It's morning. Time,
- 10:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning show Man. Welcome everybody. Please come to
- 10:11Speaker 1: this show with some form of gratitude to your heavenly Father.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Now what you call him is no concern of mine,
- 10:18Speaker 1: but please do offer thanks to God and how a
- 10:22Speaker 1: form you choose to worship and serve him, Because if
- 10:25Speaker 1: it wasn't for him, I would be nothing. I mean
- 10:29Speaker 1: absolutely nothing. Man, Thank you Lord for another great day.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I thank you for let me make it home yesterday.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I appreciate all the safe travels, just everything. Man, I
- 10:41Speaker 1: can't you know. Last night my prayer was I didn't
- 10:44Speaker 1: ask God for nothing, at least I tried not to.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Then at the end I sneered a couple of requests there.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But I was trying to do a prayer thanks, but
- 10:54Speaker 1: then I needed coverage and a couple of things that
- 10:57Speaker 1: happen far through that end. You know. Yeah, I kind
- 11:02Speaker 1: of feel bad because I'd be asking for more than
- 11:04Speaker 1: I'd be thanking him for some time, and that ain't
- 11:06Speaker 1: the balance. I try to have Lady Jentimen, Shirley Strawberry
- 11:09Speaker 1: callin for real mouth at the South, Junior and your
- 11:12Speaker 1: boy his strength truly his self truly. Yeah, Junior, what's
- 11:18Speaker 1: on your mind. I'll let's talk about that up. Would
- 11:21Speaker 1: you be asking God for stuff? You say? The balance
- 11:23Speaker 1: ain't right? He said, you want to keep a certain balance.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But what should be trying to what'd you be trying
- 11:28Speaker 1: to ask for versus? Oh? Well, you know what I mean.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I should always feel as though for me, I should
- 11:36Speaker 1: thank him more than I put in request. Even though
- 11:40Speaker 1: the request is strong, my gratitude should be stronger, because
- 11:46Speaker 1: if I look at my life and all that I
- 11:48Speaker 1: had and have overcome, I mean, it doesn't make any
- 11:53Speaker 1: sense He's done so much for me. Once I really
- 11:57Speaker 1: take a close look at I ain't really got to
- 11:59Speaker 1: take clothes. Let me just start with the day. Like
- 12:02Speaker 1: I woke up this morning, you I realized I had
- 12:05Speaker 1: nothing to do with that. Yeah, I just all of
- 12:08Speaker 1: a sudden my eyes was open and here I was.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't know how I did it, so it must
- 12:12Speaker 1: not have been met. And then I started realizing, hey, Steve,
- 12:17Speaker 1: your breathing and I went, well, how do you breathe?
- 12:20Speaker 1: I don't even know. I didn't create no lungs. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: didn't create oxygen, cabbing, the oxide, not nitric I don't
- 12:30Speaker 1: know none of that. So once again it must have
- 12:33Speaker 1: been him. Then I looked up and the sun is
- 12:35Speaker 1: starting to come up. Now, hey, once again, that does
- 12:39Speaker 1: that every day. I've never had to say so in
- 12:42Speaker 1: the timing or how it rises in the east. And
- 12:46Speaker 1: if he keep me, here's gonna set in the west.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I don't know how that happens every day. And then
- 12:53Speaker 1: the wind could blow. I don't know where it's coming from.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't know how it got here, and it ain't
- 12:57Speaker 1: nothing I can do to stop. That's a lot, man,
- 13:01Speaker 1: that God is out here doing that we oftentimes take
- 13:04Speaker 1: for granted. So when I go over everything that He
- 13:08Speaker 1: actually does, that I get to part take of and
- 13:10Speaker 1: enjoy it kind of hikes my gratitude. Great deal, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: then I'm still be asked of the stuff, though, but
- 13:17Speaker 1: I try to. You know, sometimes you haven't noticed when
- 13:20Speaker 1: you pray, you go right into the request line. Yeah, prayer, request, Yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you know how you do that? Probably be best to
- 13:31Speaker 1: start it with thank you, yes, yeah, all right, thank
- 13:37Speaker 1: you guys. Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: Junior ind for the nephew to run that prank back
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show. It is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: to run that prank back with Junior and for the nephew. Junior,
- 13:52Speaker 1: what you got for us this morning? All right, we're
- 13:54Speaker 1: gonna run that prank back today. It's going to be tailgators,
- 13:57Speaker 1: tail gas. Come on, man, I'll speak to t Rock speaking.
- 14:02Speaker 1: This is this t Rock. Yeah, what's up? Hey man?

- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm a brain with me. I got two pim a
- 19:32Speaker 1: brain with me. It's gonna be me, myself and I

- 19:41Speaker 1: You're gonna need met the leasing office is on. I'm
- 19:44Speaker 1: a beat you. Okay, okay, but dude, you know who
- 19:47Speaker 1: you do? You know who you're playing with? No, I don't,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and I I promise you when I find you. You
- 19:51Speaker 1: don't know who you're playing with. Let me let me
- 19:53Speaker 1: let me tell you who I am. Yeah, tell me
- 19:55Speaker 1: who you are? Call you I am Nephew talment from
- 19:58Speaker 1: the Steve Harbin more than to show you just got
- 20:00Speaker 1: a prank by your boy Bob he Ron. Y'all, y'all, y'all,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Oh man, Mashew, ma'a. I'm sorry man, you will, you
- 20:20Speaker 1: will fired up? You are? It says hot here anyway,
- 20:24Speaker 1: We don't care. We gonna we can take it. Man, y'all,
- 20:29Speaker 1: y'all Sunday, man, that's what we do. Everybody pitching in
- 20:32Speaker 1: and we all get together. Man, it's a it's a
- 20:34Speaker 1: family thing. Oh man, you good man. You could let
- 20:39Speaker 1: me ask you what's the band of radio showing the
- 20:42Speaker 1: land man the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Brother, Yeah, thank you,
- 20:52Speaker 1: going up next to ask the CLO with their chief
- 20:55Speaker 1: love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building, ready for your
- 20:58Speaker 1: love questions. Right after this, you're listening to show coming
- 21:04Speaker 1: up at the top of The Hour and entertainment news
- 21:06Speaker 1: jay Z dropped a verse on DJ Kalett's new album,
- 21:10Speaker 1: taking credit for creating several billionaires. Usher said that A
- 21:15Speaker 1: Versus Battle will be a waste of time for him,
- 21:17Speaker 1: and it's illegal to sell canned whip cream to anyone
- 21:21Speaker 1: under twenty one in New York. All right, we'll get
- 21:24Speaker 1: to those stories, but right now it is time to
- 21:27Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the
- 21:31Speaker 1: building for you, Ready for you, Kennedy and Macon Rights.
- 21:36Speaker 1: My husband tried to set me up by having his
- 21:38Speaker 1: co worker flirt with me. I recognized the guy and
- 21:41Speaker 1: I told him to get lost. When I got home,
- 21:44Speaker 1: my husband told me I passed the test. Is he
- 21:47Speaker 1: a psychopath? Why would he play this type of game
- 21:50Speaker 1: with me? Well, because he's stupid? Do trust? Okay? I
- 21:58Speaker 1: mean that, don't make no day him sensed though, Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know you're testing your girl. The fact that your
- 22:06Speaker 1: dumb ass boy went along with it, though, how dumb
- 22:11Speaker 1: is heat? You know what I'm saying. So not only
- 22:17Speaker 1: is he stupid, his circle of friends is stupid. Now
- 22:23Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Man? Because I'm telling you, man,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I ain't got no don't do it, said, hey, dog,
- 22:27Speaker 1: dog dog, I don't want to have nothing to do
- 22:29Speaker 1: with that. Bro. Yeah, that's sure. Marriage woman, Hold up, bro,
- 22:32Speaker 1: what's up? Man? No, hey man, don't don't. I don't
- 22:35Speaker 1: want to be in that love. I ain't got no
- 22:38Speaker 1: partners would have went along with that none. So he's
- 22:42Speaker 1: stupid and he picked stupid friends. Next question, yea women
- 22:47Speaker 1: on too Tony and Homewood Feelo. Tony said, my husband's
- 22:52Speaker 1: child's mother wants to come to the birthday party that
- 22:54Speaker 1: we're having for his child's tenth birthday. I don't have
- 22:57Speaker 1: a problem with it, but the women in my family
- 23:00Speaker 1: says it's a bad idea to welcome her in my home.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Am I missing something? Who you asking me? Yeah? Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: ain'tody with her family? Yeah? Throw you throw another party,
- 23:22Speaker 1: can't throw this one? You know, that's just me? So
- 23:26Speaker 1: you agree with the women family? No, No, I see
- 23:32Speaker 1: that if you're open to it, and you're okay with it, right,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and you all have a co parenting relationship and y'all
- 23:39Speaker 1: civil towards one another, and it shouldn't be a problem. Okay,
- 23:43Speaker 1: just for the boy. Yeah, but yeah, but back to you,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you bet, I'm petty like that though he's welcome. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 1: we might be civil up to that day. You know,
- 23:55Speaker 1: so I am. I don't start no camp fires in
- 23:59Speaker 1: my living room. All that's why outside. That's the only
- 24:04Speaker 1: thing with me. I just don't like to do that.
- 24:06Speaker 1: But there are people who can do it. If you
- 24:08Speaker 1: have a good coparenting relationship and you all are symbol
- 24:12Speaker 1: that's best for the child. Yeah, it's best for the child.
- 24:15Speaker 1: That's exactly all right. Moving on to Justine and Philly,
- 24:19Speaker 1: Justine says, I've been dating a guy for four months
- 24:22Speaker 1: and the first time we had sex, he poured warm
- 24:25Speaker 1: chocolate all on my stomach. It was a sticky mess.
- 24:29Speaker 1: The sex was great, but I don't want to be
- 24:31Speaker 1: a hot fudge Sunday next time. Is this is a
- 24:34Speaker 1: sign that we are not compatible? You know, maybe y'all
- 24:40Speaker 1: have just said, all right, baby, we we fin to
- 24:42Speaker 1: go at it. Let's sit out in here in the
- 24:45Speaker 1: kitchen or in the living room and eat this hot
- 24:48Speaker 1: foodge Sunday. Then let's go upstairs, or then let's going
- 24:56Speaker 1: to kick these throw pillars off these counter where if
- 24:59Speaker 1: you're whatever you want to do, but now they're gonna
- 25:01Speaker 1: have to work like that. I don't really mind. You know,
- 25:04Speaker 1: he poured hot fudge all over your stomach. Then you
- 25:06Speaker 1: said the sex was great. You might want to open
- 25:10Speaker 1: yourself up to some new, fresh ideas about how we're
- 25:14Speaker 1: doing things up in here now, because obviously he didn't
- 25:17Speaker 1: work down a basking Robinson the ball. He's still set
- 25:20Speaker 1: to the bed with him. So I don't know what
- 25:23Speaker 1: to tell you. If it wasn't that offensive, you know,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I don't know what he did. I don't know if
- 25:28Speaker 1: he got it off or he just left it there.
- 25:31Speaker 1: And y'all was just sticky. Yeah, and y'all it's just
- 25:36Speaker 1: crazy here. But but that sheets and everything, because it
- 25:43Speaker 1: ain't no fun to put plastic on the bed. That
- 25:45Speaker 1: ain't no fun, I'm gonna say for kids, yeah, babies,
- 25:51Speaker 1: all right. She's saying, is this a sign that they're
- 25:54Speaker 1: not compatible? Though I heard I just my answer it's
- 25:58Speaker 1: the same. I think that she might have to get
- 26:02Speaker 1: ready to open herself up to some new and exciting
- 26:05Speaker 1: ways of doing things. All had an ice cream before.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Ain't got nothing to do it. We ain't compatible, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 1: if it's good enough, you know, maybe he'll maybe he'll
- 26:15Speaker 1: work around that, all right, go ahead, Sherley, what else
- 26:19Speaker 1: you want to say? Because I can see that or
- 26:21Speaker 1: you ain't happy with that that I'm not happy with it,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but he likes it and she doesn't, so that could
- 26:28Speaker 1: mean that they're not compatible. That's all well, But hold
- 26:31Speaker 1: up now, ladies, let's just have a Fred Frank conversation
- 26:34Speaker 1: on this show right here. That an that all things
- 26:39Speaker 1: that your man like that you don't like it don't
- 26:42Speaker 1: make y'all not compatible. Let's just you know, every idea
- 26:46Speaker 1: he didn't came in that with it ain't been the
- 26:49Speaker 1: best idea for you. I'm yeh ain't in your business
- 26:52Speaker 1: or nothing. But I'm just saying, let's just ad admitted, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 1: because I sure though i'd came in with some happy
- 26:59Speaker 1: day ass I did. That didn't fly. So you just
- 27:02Speaker 1: try what have you? Walked into the big road away
- 27:06Speaker 1: hard and done it. I'm sixty five years old under it.
- 27:11Speaker 1: If it didn't work, you tried something else. Though. With
- 27:13Speaker 1: those oven mits. Ovin Mits was a big that worked
- 27:19Speaker 1: a couple of times, specially was a hit to lot
- 27:23Speaker 1: took too far. I took far one time that got
- 27:26Speaker 1: out of hurting me hot wax. I don't like hot wax.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm scared because I can't get the temperature right. That
- 27:36Speaker 1: wax on your ass? You that ain't water. That's how
- 27:40Speaker 1: you feel about the chocolate. Yes, well, I'm just saying.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You know, some things can get out of head. You know.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Sometimes the monkey don't stay in the chair, you know
- 27:49Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Hold your ass to stay in that chip?
- 27:55Speaker 1: What you all up in here on top of the
- 27:56Speaker 1: head board for imitating doing move stuff? I didn't ask
- 28:01Speaker 1: you to do what I'm doing, you know, asked for
- 28:07Speaker 1: that men. You know the swing set in the ceiling, Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I thought it was braced properly, know what I thought?
- 28:17Speaker 1: You know, then she gonna swing too far and then
- 28:19Speaker 1: it came loose and she hit the float. Now she's
- 28:22Speaker 1: mad at me. I don't dare construction work. You know,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you asked way a little bit too much. You know
- 28:29Speaker 1: it's it's it's the one hundred and thirty pound capacity.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I thought you wore a little bit. I know, you
- 28:38Speaker 1: know you one forty five. I hate my bad to
- 28:43Speaker 1: the wall. You know, stuff like that, you know, Yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 1: just a little superstar, just a little simple stuff. Monkeys
- 28:51Speaker 1: and that won't stay in the chair. But I bought
- 28:58Speaker 1: the monkey to dude told me he's he's world tray.
- 29:00Speaker 1: He sits in a chair. All right, thank you, cello,
- 29:08Speaker 1: thank you now because he's very pleased with himself. All right,
- 29:14Speaker 1: so I'm thanking him. Coming up at the top of
- 29:17Speaker 1: the r We'll have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:20Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well.
- 29:26Speaker 1: DJ Khalid has released his thirteenth album, God Did is
- 29:31Speaker 1: the title and jay Z collaborated with him on the
- 29:34Speaker 1: title track. Jay Z's last verse in God Did as
- 29:38Speaker 1: everyone buzzing because he shouts out all of the billionaires
- 29:42Speaker 1: that he quote unquote put on so to speak. Here's
- 29:46Speaker 1: the verse, how many billionaires can come from Hope crib
- 29:49Speaker 1: I count three me yay, and re Bron's a rock boy,
- 29:54Speaker 1: so four technically, and jay Z is right his wife
- 29:58Speaker 1: is a billionaire. Two shout out to all of the
- 30:00Speaker 1: young black billionaires and congratulations to DJ Kalett. On his
- 30:04Speaker 1: brand new album called God Did. It is available on
- 30:08Speaker 1: all streaming platforms. So it looks like I'm gonna have
- 30:11Speaker 1: to go on over there, side over hold. So you
- 30:14Speaker 1: could be a billionaire, be a carter, and you want
- 30:17Speaker 1: to be a carter or artists. Yeah, you don't where
- 30:24Speaker 1: about to be uhh yeah, yeah, Okay, Now check this
- 30:33Speaker 1: out from Usher. Usher was recently a guest on The
- 30:36Speaker 1: People Everyday podcast and uh He was asked if he
- 30:39Speaker 1: would ever compete in a versus. Usher very, very confidently
- 30:44Speaker 1: said that he believes a versus battle would be a
- 30:47Speaker 1: waste of his time. He said, if you ever came
- 30:50Speaker 1: to my show, you would understand that. I don't even
- 30:53Speaker 1: think a versus could handle all of the songs I had.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I'm a different animal man, I'm cut from a way
- 30:59Speaker 1: different cloth man, And when you put those songs on,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I don't think anybody in the world
- 31:04Speaker 1: would want smoke from them songs. So there you have it.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Usher says no one is worthy of battling him in
- 31:11Speaker 1: a versus. So the question is do you agree. A
- 31:15Speaker 1: lot of people say Brown, Yeah, Usher is a man,
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah right now, Yes, played a confessions album and okay,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I don't really know who could do it, like, yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 1: Chris Brown, Brown, it won't I think. I'm not sure.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I think Well, Usher has belonged more to us. Yeah, No,
- 31:45Speaker 1: he's belonged more to us because of his R and
- 31:49Speaker 1: B stylished. Chris Brown has more of a global sound,
- 31:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean. He's he's a bad boy though,
- 31:57Speaker 1: you know he's just sold soul. This ship music and
- 32:01Speaker 1: Chris Brown's dancing lord. But usshers too, I mean Usher,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, No, I don't pay to see nobody dance,
- 32:10Speaker 1: you know, And when I got you on my art
- 32:12Speaker 1: in my earbuds, I'm sorry to dancing. You can't hear
- 32:17Speaker 1: the dancing. Chris Brown got a good voice, he really does.
- 32:20Speaker 1: H very talented, talented man. Yeah, artists taking nothing away
- 32:26Speaker 1: from him, Usha, no joke, but that that wasn't him
- 32:30Speaker 1: saying that about Chris Brown. That's us thinking of who
- 32:33Speaker 1: could offer him a challenge, But of the artist that's
- 32:37Speaker 1: living today, I don't know who could Usher No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 32:49Speaker 1: roller skate everything that he brings, it's just it's everything
- 32:54Speaker 1: we're talking about, dancing escape his songs. Yes, I'm with
- 33:01Speaker 1: you on that, but he's more than that too. I mean,
- 33:04Speaker 1: he could do it all. That's my point. Yeah, turn
- 33:07Speaker 1: on the Confession album. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, you make
- 33:17Speaker 1: me walk? So has Chris Brown. They both be senceince
- 33:21Speaker 1: they were kids. When you see him live. It's the
- 33:24Speaker 1: same thing on the album. Some people see don't sound
- 33:27Speaker 1: like that's right. But when you see Usha, it's the
- 33:30Speaker 1: same voice. Good point, junior, you're you're right about that.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And he's so charismatic, truly legitimate. Yes he is, Hm,
- 33:40Speaker 1: he's a legend. I had usher voice. I never talk
- 33:46Speaker 1: you just thinking I'm going to admit it. You're talking boys,
- 33:54Speaker 1: really really? Yeah? I had his voice talk And what
- 34:02Speaker 1: else is? What's wrong my voice? What's wrong my voice?
- 34:11Speaker 1: You don't hear that? What? Yeah? The pitch? What's wrong? Steve?
- 34:22Speaker 1: It sounds like it's damn the nine one one all
- 34:28Speaker 1: the time. Hey, and that's deep for juniors. Were eating?
- 34:42Speaker 1: We aren't eating. What happened somebody? We don't eating? What's wrong? Though?
- 34:50Speaker 1: I just can't tell you to do what saint? That mounting?
- 34:55Speaker 1: Somebody's in morning? No, I said, good morning, But what's wrong? Sir?
- 35:00Speaker 1: You called? Man? Who? Who? It? Just soa like I always,
- 35:04Speaker 1: it's a crisis situation. I just don't hear what you here.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I just don't hear what you here. But you know
- 35:14Speaker 1: how little boys voices are high when they're little, and
- 35:17Speaker 1: then they change, they go through that change. So what
- 35:19Speaker 1: did you say about junior ship? I don't think it
- 35:23Speaker 1: happened in junior. It couldn't have. It couldn't have possibly
- 35:26Speaker 1: been any higher than fast. What you should have hurt me?
- 35:30Speaker 1: A fast way? Worse way? Wait, wait, whatever, I can't
- 35:39Speaker 1: even imagine that, Junior. It's changed now you're grown man,
- 35:46Speaker 1: grown man. But this voice now be in the bed room.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Get into all right, Junior with a deep voice. Now
- 36:02Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, it's wellness Wednesday.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We'll talk about exercising right after this. You're listening to
- 36:10Speaker 1: show well. According to a new Health and Medical News survey,
- 36:15Speaker 1: thirty percent of participants admit to having a sedentary lifestyle,
- 36:20Speaker 1: with the average person sitting up sitting for up to
- 36:24Speaker 1: about forty hours a week. When asked why they don't exercise,
- 36:28Speaker 1: the main reasons were lack of motivation, being too tired,
- 36:31Speaker 1: and not having enough time. So, Steve, you know you're
- 36:34Speaker 1: up daily to do our radio show and then you
- 36:38Speaker 1: take your TV show all day. Yet you still manage.
- 36:41Speaker 1: You still manage to work out or do some kind
- 36:44Speaker 1: of cardio or exercise almost daily. So we got to
- 36:47Speaker 1: ask you, what is your motivation? The motivation is health.
- 36:51Speaker 1: You want to be healthy. There's nothing more important in
- 36:54Speaker 1: your life than health, other than time. You need both
- 36:57Speaker 1: of old. But things to be going okay, you're out
- 37:01Speaker 1: of time, You're in trouble, and be out of healthier
- 37:04Speaker 1: in trouble. So health has become a premium. And at
- 37:08Speaker 1: whatever age, especially as you're aging, you got to do
- 37:12Speaker 1: something man to slow the process. Don't let it, just
- 37:16Speaker 1: let it come take you away. This ain't a cow
- 37:18Speaker 1: gone bath. We take it cow gone take me away.
- 37:22Speaker 1: No getting took away as dying. And I don't want
- 37:27Speaker 1: to and I don't I don't want it to be
- 37:29Speaker 1: an awful old age for me at sixty picks. Yeah,
- 37:34Speaker 1: you know, I want to be healthy. So you've got
- 37:36Speaker 1: to invest in exercise it. And the motivation is I
- 37:40Speaker 1: just want to live and be healthy. And what you
- 37:44Speaker 1: have to do is a lot of times you don't
- 37:46Speaker 1: have the motivation. You just got to develop the discipline.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And that's the decision I made a few weeks ago.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Skip the motivation. I know what the motivation is. I
- 37:56Speaker 1: just got to get more discipline with what I'm eating,
- 38:01Speaker 1: to making sure that I'm walking, working, Doing something like
- 38:05Speaker 1: golf is great exercise. Man, it doesn't seem like it is,
- 38:10Speaker 1: but you keep saying that it don't seem like it is.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Here's here's what I want y'all do. Get your little
- 38:18Speaker 1: pants golf set outfit. Go, get you a bucket of balls,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and just hit each one of them balls. Try to
- 38:27Speaker 1: make that ball go the far as you can and
- 38:30Speaker 1: make sure it's in the air. Ready, go when you
- 38:35Speaker 1: get through it that bucket, let me know how you feel.
- 38:43Speaker 1: It's it's exercise golf, and golf is not an easy
- 38:47Speaker 1: game if you do it the right way. Because if
- 38:49Speaker 1: you think you're just standing around hitting the ball every
- 38:52Speaker 1: now and then, that ain't how it is. Because to
- 38:54Speaker 1: get to the point to go out there, you got
- 38:56Speaker 1: to be on that driving rade and you're asking the work.
- 38:59Speaker 1: But it's work on the corner. Okay, I gotta walk down.
- 39:02Speaker 1: He'll climb out, saying, traff, you're getting tired of just
- 39:07Speaker 1: talk about it. It is demoralizing. Call you didn't want
- 39:10Speaker 1: to go down in the sand, all right, Steve? Coming
- 39:16Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, one of
- 39:18Speaker 1: the founding fathers of music, Roscoe Wallace. Oh really, we'll
- 39:23Speaker 1: be on to um give us his expert opinion on
- 39:27Speaker 1: something that's come up in the news lately. We'll talk
- 39:29Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to the Stave
- 39:33Speaker 1: Morning show. Fat Joe is trending again. Well. Last week
- 39:39Speaker 1: he did a live video featuring Latinos that were pioneers

- 39:47Speaker 1: Whip and Ruby D, DJ Disco Whiz, DJ Charlie Chase
- 39:52Speaker 1: and the rock Steady Crew as pioneers. Then Fat Joe
- 39:56Speaker 1: got a lot of backlash from the black community that
- 39:59Speaker 1: said no way, So that Joe hopped back on another
- 40:03Speaker 1: live video to defend himself by saying that when hip
- 40:05Speaker 1: hop started, it was half and half. Both Blacks and
- 40:09Speaker 1: Latinos contributed to hip hop at the same time. So
- 40:15Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace stopped by because yeah, yeah, we know hip
- 40:22Speaker 1: hop isn't really your thing, Rocke. You know, I al

- 41:27Speaker 1: know fat Joe? Hey, y'all know fat Joel? I knew
- 41:31Speaker 1: his daddy too. What was fat ass mole? What fat
- 41:41Speaker 1: ass more? We call him fat more for show because
- 41:46Speaker 1: he was more fat than everybody else. Roscoe, you a man.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna be a man. You are you to bring
- 41:55Speaker 1: me here to truth? Yeah? Yeah, I like we got
- 41:58Speaker 1: Joel and every day I like reading all that Latino
- 42:01Speaker 1: all that, y'all know, good hair, Well, there wasn't no
- 42:05Speaker 1: fitty fitted right y'all that how trying to get it
- 42:09Speaker 1: together before you came out and presented it black boat already,

- 42:15Speaker 1: why black people clap back. Well, you know gonna here

- 42:27Speaker 1: the first time roscout that I agree with you that
- 42:31Speaker 1: you I think you're not long. I'm doing this a

- 46:59Speaker 1: And other times I'm kind about to be in the
- 47:02Speaker 1: middle of dinner. How can I help your brother? Well,
- 47:05Speaker 1: here's what I wanted to ask you, man uh Parnas,
- 47:08Speaker 1: I want to ask you this. I know, you know
- 47:10Speaker 1: a lot of people are going through different things and
- 47:12Speaker 1: and people are, you know, trying to make sure they
- 47:15Speaker 1: keep food and stuff in the house because you know,
- 47:17Speaker 1: time like this, you know you kind of want to
- 47:19Speaker 1: stay put and but you want to make sure you
- 47:21Speaker 1: got enough food and water and things like that. So
- 47:24Speaker 1: but but but what I wanted my reason for calling
- 47:26Speaker 1: you is I wanted to ask you how how much
- 47:29Speaker 1: money do we have in the account? Come again, the
- 47:35Speaker 1: church account? How much money do we have in there? Brother? Brother?
- 47:39Speaker 1: What what do you say? Your name was? Again? Brother?
- 47:41Speaker 1: My name is brother Lennah Thompson. Okay, Brother Thompson. How
- 47:45Speaker 1: did you get my person to sell phone number to
- 47:47Speaker 1: be calling me at home the time of day? Well?
- 47:49Speaker 1: I got this number from one of the brothers at
- 47:51Speaker 1: the church. What what? What? Brother? The truck? They know
- 47:54Speaker 1: not to give my person the number out to to
- 47:57Speaker 1: people I don't know you. Well, I'm I'm but I'm
- 48:00Speaker 1: but I'm a member though I'm a member. Well, how
- 48:03Speaker 1: I long you've been a member, because I've been passing
- 48:04Speaker 1: this church for ten years and your name ain't familiar
- 48:07Speaker 1: to me. How long? How long have you been a
- 48:09Speaker 1: member of my church? I've been a member of probably
- 48:12Speaker 1: going on going on three years now, but I ain't
- 48:16Speaker 1: I ain't been since, you know, since that day I joined.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I you know, you know, I don't kind of got
- 48:21Speaker 1: called out there, you know how I go? But uh
- 48:23Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, So you you've
- 48:25Speaker 1: been a member of my church. Two or three years
- 48:27Speaker 1: you ain't been to the church, and two to three
- 48:29Speaker 1: years are you calling me to ask me about finances
- 48:32Speaker 1: of my church. Well, I'm understand what you're looking for. Well,
- 48:36Speaker 1: I am a member, so I mean I do how
- 48:38Speaker 1: to Don't I how the right to know what we
- 48:40Speaker 1: got in there? What we got in the account? Actually
- 48:42Speaker 1: you don't. You don't have to write to that question.
- 48:45Speaker 1: If you don't actively come to the church. You can't
- 48:47Speaker 1: come to the church sign of the church and then
- 48:50Speaker 1: call me three years later asking me what we got
- 48:52Speaker 1: going on at church? So I need to understand what
- 48:55Speaker 1: is your purpose? What do you Well, like I say
- 48:58Speaker 1: everybody going through hard times, I'm trying to see what
- 49:01Speaker 1: we got in there, because you know, I need to
- 49:04Speaker 1: pick up a few things from the stove. I don't
- 49:06Speaker 1: have the money, right na, But shouldn't I be able
- 49:09Speaker 1: to lean it on my church? Though? You lean on that.
- 49:12Speaker 1: We've done a lot of stuff in the community. We've
- 49:14Speaker 1: been feeding the elderly, we got a food bank, we've
- 49:16Speaker 1: been cashed happing people some money that when we can.
- 49:19Speaker 1: But you ain't been at this church, and three years
- 49:22Speaker 1: you can't call me after three years and think I'm
- 49:24Speaker 1: about to give you some money for something I don't
- 49:26Speaker 1: even know if you're a real member. I am a
- 49:28Speaker 1: real man, I'm a real member. So hold on, hold on,
- 49:30Speaker 1: hold on, hold hold on, past hold on, hold on,
- 49:34Speaker 1: hold on, no, no, no, hold on, boy. Look here,
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to sit down here dinner with my family.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You sitting here on my last nerve. Look here, brother Thompson.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I don't know you. I ain't never heard of you.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You am not about to call here and try to
- 49:48Speaker 1: get some money out of me. You ain't even member
- 49:50Speaker 1: other church. You can't. I am a member of the
- 49:53Speaker 1: church because you come to the church one time, you
- 49:56Speaker 1: ain't been back in three years, and you come to
- 49:58Speaker 1: meet for some money. I I am a member of
- 50:01Speaker 1: your mama. You are not a member of this church, sir,
- 50:04Speaker 1: I am a member of the church. Look look, look,
- 50:07Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I know. This ain't no. No,
- 50:10Speaker 1: Let me tell you where. You can't join my church
- 50:13Speaker 1: two or three years ago and called me three years later,
- 50:16Speaker 1: get my number from somebody and ask me for money
- 50:18Speaker 1: because you're gonna through hard times. Now. If you was
- 50:20Speaker 1: a true member of the church, you'll understand how we
- 50:23Speaker 1: work and how we give money to people that are struggling.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I just delivered forty meals today to our elderly huh.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Last week we cash out people money to go pick
- 50:33Speaker 1: up grossing compare. What do you need? Do you need
- 50:35Speaker 1: my cash? Aff? Then? Do you need my cash? Boy? Boy,
- 50:39Speaker 1: you're gonna make me because you ain't even tiring. So
- 50:43Speaker 1: how are you not tiring? And think you told you
- 50:45Speaker 1: I have fell on bad times? Didn't I say I
- 50:48Speaker 1: fell on bad times? You feel on bad times for
- 50:50Speaker 1: three years? Hey? Hey, you know it takes longer for
- 50:54Speaker 1: some people. Okay, why are you? Why are you judging me?
- 50:57Speaker 1: An opposed trying to figure out how to cash apt
- 50:59Speaker 1: me so I can get on a number of my church.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I don't know if you some scam artists trying to
- 51:04Speaker 1: get money from the church. Sir, I have never met you.
- 51:07Speaker 1: I don't know you. A matter of fact, I'm about
- 51:09Speaker 1: to call up the deacons to see who you are
- 51:12Speaker 1: and why they would give my number to some points
- 51:14Speaker 1: to call me and ask me for some money. Hey,
- 51:16Speaker 1: let me say this to you. If you don't cash
- 51:18Speaker 1: at me, then I'm funny at all the members that
- 51:21Speaker 1: I know you, I know our church ain't no mega church.
- 51:23Speaker 1: You know, we got three four hundred members already know so,
- 51:27Speaker 1: But but I would let every member know that you're
- 51:30Speaker 1: not cash happen to me to help me in a
- 51:32Speaker 1: time and need. I will do that. Ruther Thompson. You
- 51:35Speaker 1: can let them know. You can Facebook, Instagram and you
- 51:38Speaker 1: can put it on that TikTok and cag me in it.
- 51:40Speaker 1: I ain't giving you a dime. I don't know you.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I ain't never heard of you. A matter of fact,
- 51:45Speaker 1: you need to get off my phone. I got dinner
- 51:47Speaker 1: with my wife about to go on, man, and I
- 51:49Speaker 1: ain't got time to be going back and forth with you.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I need to know who gave you my number, so
- 51:54Speaker 1: I can call them up and tell them don't be
- 51:56Speaker 1: giving my number some stranger who ain't been our church
- 52:00Speaker 1: two to three years. Ain't gonna ask me for some money,
- 52:02Speaker 1: some cash out or if you don't get off this phone,
- 52:05Speaker 1: who can't you? Okay, so let me ask you something.
- 52:08Speaker 1: So so you know Deacon uh Marvin Dille don't know
- 52:11Speaker 1: Deacon Martha. Yeah, what about him? Do you know he
- 52:13Speaker 1: listened to the radio every morning. Yeah, he's listening to
- 52:16Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Pastor, Haye, you just got
- 52:20Speaker 1: pranked by your boy, Deacon marm Boy, I see, and
- 52:25Speaker 1: that's why Deacon Mary about to get kicked off the board. Boy,
- 52:31Speaker 1: you got me eye in my yard. Yeah. My neighbor's
- 52:34Speaker 1: looking at me like I'm crazy. They know I'm not
- 52:36Speaker 1: on the block or you almost made me because you
- 52:39Speaker 1: can't be doing that during this time, man, past you
- 52:42Speaker 1: all right, man, Man, I'm good man, I'm good, baby, Baby,
- 52:46Speaker 1: everything good. My wife's don came out here, boy, and
- 52:49Speaker 1: you ain't don't want her to set it off. You
- 52:53Speaker 1: don't want the first lady to go out. Okay, man,
- 52:56Speaker 1: But now we take care of our church man. We
- 52:59Speaker 1: feed them, sending money, man, deliver meals. Man, make sure

- 54:07Speaker 1: be yours right right lay. Its time for the Strawberry
- 54:10Speaker 1: Letter with my good friend, Shirley Strawberry. Thank you, my
- 54:14Speaker 1: good friend Junior. Subject I'm a rule breaker. Dear Stephen, Shirley.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'm a fifty seven year old married woman and I'm
- 54:22Speaker 1: at my wits end with my husband. He's ex military
- 54:25Speaker 1: and wants me to do everything his way. We have
- 54:28Speaker 1: been married for twenty two years, but since he's retired,
- 54:32Speaker 1: his full time job is controlling me and the kids.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I have always been the brains and the breadwinner of
- 54:39Speaker 1: our family, and I think that bothers him now that
- 54:42Speaker 1: he has nothing to do daily. He calls me a
- 54:45Speaker 1: rule breaker, but honey, I make the rules. It's hard
- 54:48Speaker 1: for me to take him seriously when he's shouting commands
- 54:53Speaker 1: and he doesn't pay any bills in the house. He
- 54:55Speaker 1: contributes money, but he's never paid the house note, electricity bill,
- 55:00Speaker 1: or even the cable bill. I even pay his cell
- 55:02Speaker 1: phone bill, so he needs to tread lightly with me.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I was at work the other day and my husband
- 55:08Speaker 1: called yelling because the cable went out. I told him
- 55:11Speaker 1: to call the cable company and my co worker could
- 55:14Speaker 1: hear me yelling. My co worker came to my office
- 55:17Speaker 1: and closed my door and asked me what was wrong.
- 55:21Speaker 1: I unleashed all of my pent up frustration and told
- 55:25Speaker 1: him everything. He suggested we'd go to his house for
- 55:28Speaker 1: lunch so he could give me a massage to help
- 55:31Speaker 1: relieve my tensions. He's a massage therapist on the side
- 55:35Speaker 1: by the way. I told him I needed a massage
- 55:39Speaker 1: and sex. He was shocked but said he was all
- 55:43Speaker 1: for it, and we rushed out of the office. This
- 55:45Speaker 1: man was magical in the bedroom, and I left his
- 55:48Speaker 1: house smelling like lavender oil and Creed cologne. The whole
- 55:53Speaker 1: time we were sexing. He called me a rule breaker
- 55:56Speaker 1: and said he was going to punish me. I loved
- 55:59Speaker 1: being a rule breaker now and I can't wait to
- 56:02Speaker 1: get punished again. I know right from wrong? But am
- 56:05Speaker 1: I not justified in doing this since I'm being mistreated
- 56:10Speaker 1: at home? Well, this letter took a turn. Humh, I
- 56:16Speaker 1: didn't see that one coming. But the question is, Wifie,
- 56:21Speaker 1: what are you doing? What are you doing? You say
- 56:25Speaker 1: you know right from wrong, but then you ask us
- 56:27Speaker 1: if you're not justified, if you're justified in cheating with
- 56:31Speaker 1: your coworker. No, you're not justified, and affair is not
- 56:35Speaker 1: fixing the problem. You know, two wrongs don't make a right.
- 56:38Speaker 1: You already know that people have affairs because it makes
- 56:42Speaker 1: them feel a certain kind of way. And honestly, I
- 56:44Speaker 1: don't understand your marriage. I really don't. I don't understand
- 56:47Speaker 1: how you put up with your controlling husband. He needs
- 56:50Speaker 1: to find himself something to do so he can readjust
- 56:54Speaker 1: to you know, just regular life, civilian life. And excuse me,
- 56:59Speaker 1: but what do you mean he doesn't pay any bills,
- 57:02Speaker 1: He doesn't pay his cell phone bill. The more, what
- 57:05Speaker 1: do you mean? He just can't be at the house
- 57:06Speaker 1: yelling orders while he sits on his behind. No, where
- 57:11Speaker 1: is the plan for the next phase of his life?
- 57:13Speaker 1: I mean, have you let him know he's no longer
- 57:16Speaker 1: in the military. Is he clear on that you're his wife?
- 57:19Speaker 1: This is not boot camp? Does he know all that?
- 57:21Speaker 1: And you know you said you were the brains in
- 57:24Speaker 1: the family, right, So you've got to be smart enough
- 57:27Speaker 1: to know that having an affair with your coworker is
- 57:31Speaker 1: not the answer. That's just a selfish temporary fix on
- 57:36Speaker 1: your part. The reality is you're putting off dealing with
- 57:39Speaker 1: the problems in your marriage. You and your husband don't
- 57:42Speaker 1: get along. He's unhappy and again needs to find something
- 57:46Speaker 1: to do with himself. You're miserable, you've resorted to cheating.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I just say, face it, both of you guys are
- 57:53Speaker 1: crazy right now with this. You're heading for divorce. You
- 57:56Speaker 1: both are if you don't stop with this affair and
- 57:59Speaker 1: start dealing with your marital issues. Oh and by the way,
- 58:03Speaker 1: please thank your husband for his service, Steve Boy, thank
- 58:11Speaker 1: your husband's more servous Yeah, go on in jokes. I
- 58:20Speaker 1: he don't need thank you. He knew what the hero is.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Gonna give a damn about the meltary right now? Fifty
- 58:25Speaker 1: seven year old married woman. Oh, she's at a witch
- 58:31Speaker 1: end extual military husband and he wants her to do
- 58:35Speaker 1: everything in his way. That they've been mad for twenty
- 58:38Speaker 1: two years. But ever since he retired, he's been controlling
- 58:42Speaker 1: of you and the kids. Okay, okay, and I think
- 58:49Speaker 1: it bothers him now because he ain't got nothing to
- 58:52Speaker 1: do dating. Well, now, he'd labeled you as a rule breaker,
- 58:59Speaker 1: but honey, I make the rule. Now. This is the
- 59:03Speaker 1: woman that then wrote a letter supposed to be in distress,
- 59:07Speaker 1: but just to let you know I really ain't indistressed.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Tell my I'm a rude breaker. Honey, I make the rule.
- 59:18Speaker 1: So let's see how you do it. Now. It's hard
- 59:21Speaker 1: for this lady to take a man seriously because she
- 59:23Speaker 1: says he already shouting all these commands and he don't
- 59:26Speaker 1: pay any bills at the house. He contributes money, but
- 59:29Speaker 1: he's never paid the houseload electric bill, even the cable bill.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I even pay a cell phone. So it needs to
- 59:35Speaker 1: tread lightly with me. Well, what do he do? Right? Damn?
- 59:41Speaker 1: I mean, how you get to be the man of
- 59:43Speaker 1: the house to twenty two years and you don't do
- 59:45Speaker 1: none of this? Now, I do all of this. But
- 59:50Speaker 1: I can't come in the house and shout no commands.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Oh I wish to say, Oh, shut up, dude, like
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I say, cut that hair, dry off, stroking hill. Yeah.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So when we come back, I'll just explain to you
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: what's wrong. All right, Steve, All right, Part two of
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: your responses coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters, subject I'm a rule breaker. We'll get
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: The subject is I'm a rule breaker. Lady Merritt, fifty
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: seven year old woman marri to his military man getting
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: on the nurse because all he'd do with shout commands.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: He's retired now he bossed her and the kids. She
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: doesn't understand why he's so bossy, and he calls her
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: a rule breaker, but she says she made the rules
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: because she can't take him serious because he contributes money
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: to the house, but he's never paid the house, no
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: unless you bill, even the cable bill, and she pays
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: his cell phone bill. So he needs to tread lightly
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: with me. We left me with the question of asking well,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: what do he do? Yeah, I don't understand what does
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he do? And then you was at work the other
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: day and then he called and he was yelling caused
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: the cable went out. You're talking about the other bill
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: he don't pay right, but here at the house watching TV,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: so the cable get cut off. He called you at work,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: yelling because the cable went out. Boy, sir, I don't
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: know where you're getting the golf from this. I wouldn't
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: even made the call because then I would have had
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to say, I'm sitting up here watching TV. Why you
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: were working in this damn cable gonna go out and
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you didn't pay the bill? Yeah, I can't even fix
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: my mouth. So then you told him to call a
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: cable company. And then your co worker heard you talking.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So co worker happens to be a man, came in
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: your office. Closed you're don't ask you what was wrong.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I unleashed all of my pin of frustration. I told
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: him everything here was a letter. All of a sudden win,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I was gonna want to hear him. He suggested we
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: go to his house for lunch so he could give
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: me a massage to help relieve my attension. He's a
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: massage therapist on the side. No he ain't, No, he ain't.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: He told you that I do massage therapy on the side. Boy,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: what but you did all that talking. Let's go to
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: my house at lunch and I'll give you a massage
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to help relieve my attension. He's a massage therapist on
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the side. By the way, Leggy, shut up. I told
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: him I needed a massage and say he was shocked.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: No he wasn't. He wasn't shot. He was he was
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: over joy But he wasn't shocked. He was taking you
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to his house for lunch to give you a massage,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to try to sex you anyway. Anyway, what the hell
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is is I'm taking you home for lunch for a
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: free massage. If you're a massage therapist on the side,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: ain't that your business? You're going to give her a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: free massage at work? Fire, y'all having lunch. But then
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you happened to tell him you needed a massage and
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: said he was shocked. No he wasn't. He was over
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: joy He said he was all in. Oh really, now
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: now we shot he said he was all in? Did
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: We rushed out the office. This man was magical. In
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: the bed room. I left this house smelling like leaving
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: all in cree He was climbing all over this man right,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: he was a massage and told all between told on
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the back of my knee, and man came overhead. His
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: thumbs was busy. This man was laying on top of me.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: His thumb was so I don't know how he got
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: his thumb over there. Next thing, you know, girl, we
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: was just an' here, tangled up, leving ail all over me,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and I ain't even care about the massage a different
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: letter weight. His weight was on me, and I was
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: just in here this oh mer. My eyes was looking
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: back of my head. That is not in the letter
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that's in there. When she said, listen to me, this
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: man was magical. You got this is what was magical me.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: That's how you leave this house smetter like leving to
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: all and creed alone the whole time we were section.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He called me a rude breaking, said he was gonna
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: a rude breaking, said you're gonna punish me. I love
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: being a rude breaker now now I can't wait to
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: get punished again. I know wrong, for I know I'm
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I know right from wrong, but I might not justified
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: in doing this and I'm being mistreated up, lady. You
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: can't say I know right from wrong and then say
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: am I justified for doing the wrong? Right, lady, I'm
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: a rude breaker. Girl. You're a rude breaker, a fire breaker,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: a marriage, faith breaker, a home wrecker. You a lot
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: of stuff, but you ain't justified. Now if you want
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to use it and justify why you're doing oh, I've
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: done that before. Go ahead. It don't stop it from
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: being right or wrong, now, does it? So you want
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: to know are you justified if that's what you want
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: to use as justification. Of course you are, but it
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: don't stop the wrong. So now what you want me
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: or Shelley to say? But I know one thing they're
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: going to work gonna be different from now. I know
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: that right there. I don't know what you do for
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: a living. You didn't mention where you work at. But
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: focus is not gonna be your best for paying Well,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you're gonna be down there looking at magic Mike, Maggie.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Mike had that all the hero. He was crawling towards
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: the bed on his elbow. Yeah, he had a knife.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Fish Peep came up the end of the bed. You
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: ain't know what was happening, but the knife was really
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: a feavo girl. All right, thank you, Steve. Please leave

- 1:06:56Speaker 1: you want today? Well, today is gonna be It's gonna
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: be sports talking. It's kind of you know, it's kind
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: of a happy, sad moment. But you know, Serena Williams
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: is playing in her last tournament. Yeah it's open. She
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: won the other night, but it's just a champion is
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: fun to retire and she's about to hang up a racket.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: She's not gonna play no more after this. She I
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: want her to win because she is the best, the
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: best tennis player to female tis but the least these
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: things up, she is the best to go twenty three
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Grand Slams twenty three, yeah, right, number one, three hundred
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: nineteen weeks. She set a record for attendance the other
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: day at the US Open. She is the goat. Just
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: like you said, Junior, she was real shiny and cut
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: ye because she is the queen. Yeah yeah, you know
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you think about, you know, the number of children they've
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: been inspired to play tennis, just those her and her
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: sister Venus, you know, coming out and then you know,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: used to make them play each other to knock on
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: them out of the tournament. And what he wouldn't play
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: for the championship, you know, they father changed that. He's like, no,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you're not doing that to my girls. No, no, he
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: said the first round. But you know, just in fact,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: she changed the way you look at tennis, how black
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: girls look at tennis. I mean her Coco golf is
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: now you know name Osaka, Yes, you know those is
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the next generation of players that are inspired by Serena Williams.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I mean, that is what it's about. Leaving a legacy,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: this big, this is now the new standard, is what
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: she's saying for them to reach the goal that they
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: have to reach. So you know, I'm just excited for
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I think this is gonna be a great tournament. I'm
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: watched the whole time, every night, every time she plays.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit down and watch these all these rounds
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: two venas two two. Yeah, you know. Reading an article too,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Naomi Osaka said that Serena Williams is the greatest thing
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: that will ever happen to the sport of tennis. Williams sisters, baby, yes, yes, man,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: girls right. I met Serena before she got men. I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: met Serena in Washington, DC, and what happened to sweater God?
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I started crying when I saw it, just shot it flowing.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I couldn't even get the words out to shoot chr.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I couldn't even get it. It was she was beautiful.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I stop, Hey, man, why I say, because she's thirty
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: feet from me, and she introduced herself like I didn't
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: know it was her. I know, I know who you are, yeah,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: but I was. We want to say congratulations for all
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: you brought to the game of tennis, your whole family. Serena.

- 1:11:22Speaker 1: good as this one? Because this is a great ending
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: to this story. Really, have I ever faked it till
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I'm made? Yeah? You know? Yeah, we made Yeah, I know,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I know you have. But tell us and did it

- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I fake it till I'm made? Yeah? That's the question. Yeah,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: how about thirty eight years stark raven poverty acting like

- 1:12:53Speaker 1: We're still trying to act like we mad about slavery.

- 1:13:41Speaker 1: weekend running cable across the driveway from my mama's house,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: trying to get some lights back on in this damn
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: sitting up in here. Then I hadn't couldn't get your electricity,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: cut the gas off. I couldn't get that on. I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: outside trying to barbeque so I can feed that body

- 1:14:41Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thank you. I think we get the picture.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As part
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: of Nigeria's policy of developing local talent, foreign models will
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: no longer be featured in their TV ads. Nigeria's president
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: of the Association of Advertising Agency said, they're about two
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: hundred million of us. Are you telling me you could
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: not find indigenous models for these commercials. He believes that
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: there has been some kind of renaissance in the country
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: that has seen a lot of rising talent emerge, particularly
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: among young people. So from now on, they're using home
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: grown talent. Okay, no foreign models. So ecstatic to him,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: And why do you say that, Steve, Well, first of all,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: let's talk about the whole continent of Africa. Africa is
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the only nation, the only continent that does not have
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: to import anything. They don't need your food. They got
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: all the minerals, resources, all, they got everything. Now they
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: got some desolate places. That's hard and it's hard to
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: get water in places water. It's because of poverty that
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: they can't get access to a lot of this stuff.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: For this President of Nigeria to say it's two hundred
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: million vos and why were allowing this to happen is
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: a step in the right direction. It's how you take
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: care of yourself. It's controlling the economy. And I think
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: that's absolutely brilliant because America has been doing it for

- 1:17:21Speaker 1: like I ain't proud of me. No more, I ain't
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: going to do that looking like Nicki Minaj at the

- 1:17:35Speaker 1: be in Vegas or on a pot private island all alone? Oh?
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: No Vegas? Okay, being no damn private island all alone.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: That ain't no vacation. We don't now. All I gotta
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: do is get naked, naked and yeah, you don't know
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: private island by my damn self. Yeah, get on up
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: in Vegas, man. Yeah, I'd rather be in Vegas with
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: no security. Oh, I don't want to go to Vegas. Well,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: but that private island though, what Well, if it's got amenity, yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: it's been a nice one. If it's some of the
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: islands I've gone to. I gone over there. But because
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I can't go to Vegas with no kidka, Okay, I
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: got some friends, that's got them. Yeah, and I've gone
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, but I don't know no, no, that
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: walk completely surrounded by water. All right, Moving on to
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: this one. Would you rather work at a coffee shop
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: for a week or work as a bartender? Oh, I'm
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: gonna be the bartender? What Yeah, and don't know how
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: to make nothing. No, he don't know how to make nothing.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I was like one cocktail, name one cocktail? You can't
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: make Oh, I can make a godfather. What's the name?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: That's Scott and Ato? Uh huh oh okay. I don't
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: know how to make a whiskey. Sow. I don't know
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: how to make an old fashion. I could make you
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a like a gin and juice like a come on,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that's all I know. I can't make a cosmopolitan. I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: don't know how to make a book. I don't know
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: how to I don't know. I don't know nothing. I'll
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: drink all right, Yeah, thank you. We'll be back with
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and at forty nine
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: minutes after we'll have some clothing from one and on
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: least Steve Harvey. Right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: all right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: day on the Steve Harvey Morning Show this morning. Um,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: we gotta we gotta give a big shout out to Jackson,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: miss Misissippi, because they're struggling right now with this drinking
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: water system. Jackson, Mississippi, is Mississippi's largest city and home
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: to more than one hundred and sixty thousand residents. It's
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: failing the water system there, it's failing. State officials announced
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: this week thousands of Jackson residents already have no water
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: or very little water pressure, and officials cannot say when
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the adequate, reliable service will be restored. That is not
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: good news. The city water system has been plagued with
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: problems for years and years, including tens of thousands of
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: residents losing water. Governor Tate Reeves said the city's largest
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: water treatment plants may be completely down. So this is
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: a problem for our you know, our people in Jackson, Mississippi.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: And yeah, I was also reading online and we're talking
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: about the public schools going back to virtual learning in
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: some parts of the area that have been because the
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: shortage at the school. Yeah, this is serious, very serious.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I just think it's a shame. Man. I don't see
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: how of this magnitude right in America. While we don't
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: have fun set aside for when things like this happened,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: what happened in Flint, Michigan should have never happened. That's
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: allowed to have gone on for as long as it
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: went on. And you know, the story is hush hush
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: right now. You don't hear about hear much about it.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: But what has happened? Has it? Has the water crisis
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: and Flint been resolved? Because you know, because see but
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: see see because once we ain't got no more eyeballs
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: on the news story, we move on to the next
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: sensationalized Yeah, and I think you know Mississippi needs help.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: But have we forgotten about Flint? Because Flint still still
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: could be suffering. But well, I'll tell you one thing though,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Here's what I will tell you. I can assure you this,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: These crises happen and allowed to exist when the population
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: is affecting. It's predominantly people of color. That much. I
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: will tell you that not. And if you don't think
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the rustor urgency isn't because of that, you sadly mistaken.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Once again, we got to fake it till we make it. Now.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: We got to act like we part of the constitution.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: We got to act like we just as American as
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: everybody else when we when they constantly find ways not
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: to treat us that way. And so I'm just saying, man,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: in a country of this magnitude, especially a place who
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: had water, we shouldn't be having people in our country
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: without water. This is true, but when you have no
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: First of all, we shouldn't have people in this country
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: without water, food, medical, attention, education. We really shouldn't. Yes,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that's true, but we're so busy telling everybody to pull
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: yourself up by your bootstraps when this country strips so
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: many people of the straps and the boots and so
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: now what what do we have to pull up? And
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: see that's the part where sometimes the Republican Party aggravates
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: me because they don't care. They always call it reckless spending.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: How do we cover the spending? Well, you know how
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to do it. The hypocrisy of it all, it's just
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: it's a sad country we live in when we're supposed
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: to be the richest nation in the world. But this
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: is how we treat our people, that's right. And things
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: wear out. I mean when you have bills like for
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: infrastructure and rebuilding and things like that, we have to
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you know, we have to vote on that and do
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: something about that because this country, you know, things that
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: were built long time ago, you have to rebuild and
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: repair and do all these things to keep it going,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: like bridges, things like that. Things do fall apart. You
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: need infrastructure, you need that, or you can have people
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: in office and leaderships that are about preventing things from
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: happen and doing maintenance and upgrading materials and things like that,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: and not reacting to when things fall apart. And now
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: people in the community are hurt by your lack of
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: movement and action. So now we have people and parts
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: of Jackson, Mississippi that don't have drinking water in two
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: thousand and twenty two. But since does that mean, Yeah,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: that's not important to you though you know that those
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: things are not important to you. You know, that's why
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: it's absolutely absolutely here we go. So again, U Jackson,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: We're with you, Kixie one five one oh seven point
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: five in Jackson. Um, you know, jeets our prayers. UM.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Whatever we can do, let us know we need leaders
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: in place. Yeah, to change, I'm doing the same old stuff.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: So you know, to sum this up, in this country,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: it's not going to change. But to lay claim to
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: being the most free and the richest, the most opportunity,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: home of the brave, land of the free, opportunity, and
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: economically balanced country, there's an imbalance when it comes to
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: poor people, and we treat our poor very very differently.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: I've traveled around the world, man, and I've seen other
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: countries who do it the right way. We should have
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: at minimum food for everybody, housing for everybody, and medical
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: for everybody. We at least should have food, housing, and
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: metal for everybody. Yes, that's basic. That's what this country
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: needs to bring. That's what the Constitution said it was.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: But then there's so many Anyway, long story, Hey y'all
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: talk to God today. He'd love to hear from you.
