- 0:19Speaker 1: not doing me true good Steve Hartley, don't join jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn got to turn out to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your back, huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, Oh man, almost
- 2:12Speaker 1: forgot I had one this morning. But I'm okay. I'll
- 2:16Speaker 1: tell you who I am in a little bit. You know,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I get around. Man, it's so much. But man, good
- 2:21Speaker 1: morning everybody. You know today I was having a conversation
- 2:27Speaker 1: with my wife last night and we were talking about
- 2:31Speaker 1: our plans. You know, we often sit down, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 1: just like a married couple. I mean, you know, you
- 2:36Speaker 1: know we're married. You know, we have children, we have aspirations,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we have hopes, we I mean, we have things we want.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You know, when you're married, you know, I mean it's
- 2:46Speaker 1: important to sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You don't know, it's common sense. Really, it's important to
- 2:52Speaker 1: sit down with the person that you've chosen and decided
- 2:55Speaker 1: to share your life with it and have multiple conversations
- 2:58Speaker 1: on a lot of things. And we try to make
- 3:01Speaker 1: sure that all of our conversations aren't always just business
- 3:05Speaker 1: related and always kid related, you know, because that that
- 3:10Speaker 1: that becomes it's a part of it. But it weighs
- 3:15Speaker 1: so much on the marriage that because that that's the
- 3:18Speaker 1: grunt work of being married. You know, your children, your family,
- 3:22Speaker 1: your bills, your your mortgage, your your car notes. You
- 3:26Speaker 1: know though, what's due, what's coming up, and if you're
- 3:31Speaker 1: not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes the focal point
- 3:36Speaker 1: of you all's conversation. And this woman or man or
- 3:40Speaker 1: person that you've decided to have this life with, all
- 3:43Speaker 1: of a sudden, they're an extension of your business, and
- 3:47Speaker 1: you guys become business partners or whatever, and and and
- 3:52Speaker 1: it just gets so anywhere. I'm just saying that that
- 3:54Speaker 1: is important to sit down and have these conversations, but
- 3:58Speaker 1: it's even more important to have the other conversation, you know.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's it's important with the person that you're planning on
- 4:05Speaker 1: making the run to sit down and talk about other things,
- 4:08Speaker 1: you know, on a more upbeat note. You know, we
- 4:12Speaker 1: were having a conversation that she was reminding me of
- 4:16Speaker 1: what she loved about me, and then I, in turn,
- 4:20Speaker 1: was turned around telling her the things that I admired
- 4:23Speaker 1: about her and loved about her. And we kind of
- 4:26Speaker 1: have these all the time, you know, when we sit
- 4:28Speaker 1: down and we talk about the things that we still
- 4:32Speaker 1: enjoy about one another, or we may talk about some
- 4:35Speaker 1: of the things that we miss in one another. But
- 4:38Speaker 1: we constantly had these conversations about appreciation. You know, It's
- 4:43Speaker 1: so important man, that the other person feels appreciated. So
- 4:47Speaker 1: these things are important. But we got into the conversation
- 4:50Speaker 1: deeper last night, and I was telling her about this
- 4:54Speaker 1: idea that I had and that I wanted her to
- 4:58Speaker 1: help me with and make a phone call for me
- 5:00Speaker 1: because she knows these people and I was going to
- 5:03Speaker 1: be doing this, and then my wife reminded me of
- 5:06Speaker 1: something not once again, you know, as always, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 1: when I'm talking to you, I just keep it as
- 5:11Speaker 1: real as I can. I don't know the Bible inside out.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I can't quote to you scriptures and tell you exactly
- 5:18Speaker 1: where it is. I just you know, I heard her
- 5:21Speaker 1: say it, but it kind of blew by me. I was,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was telling about something I wanted to make happen,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and she reminded me that there's a scripture somewhere, and
- 5:31Speaker 1: somebody emailed it to me to day. I'm sure, Well,
- 5:34Speaker 1: the Bible reminds us not to be anxious for anything.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Don't be anxious for something. And you know, it really
- 5:42Speaker 1: mattered to me at that point yesterday that she bought
- 5:45Speaker 1: this to my attention, because how many times I've been
- 5:48Speaker 1: guilty of that in my past and I've learned better now,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but every now and then I need to be reminded,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know. And I think what that what she was
- 5:58Speaker 1: saying to me was, you know, I've gotten to a
- 6:01Speaker 1: point in my life, and we all should get to
- 6:04Speaker 1: a point where. You know, you've heard old people say this,
- 6:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna pray about something, then don't worry about it.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And if you're gonna worry about it, don't pray about it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Back to this, be anxious for nothing, don't. If you're
- 6:19Speaker 1: going to him trust in God didn't do that, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: trusting in him means sometimes you got to be patient.
- 6:29Speaker 1: God has never been too late. You don't know the
- 6:33Speaker 1: plan he has, You don't know. You don't really always
- 6:36Speaker 1: know his will. You definitely don't know his route, his
- 6:39Speaker 1: way of doing anything. So he's always on time. He's
- 6:43Speaker 1: always been there on time for me. He's always been
- 6:47Speaker 1: there on time for you. How many times have you
- 6:50Speaker 1: thought it was over only to find out it's really
- 6:53Speaker 1: just begun. How many times have people wrote you off,
- 6:59Speaker 1: those of you who have lost jobs but you are
- 7:04Speaker 1: still maintaining. But man, God has already began to turn
- 7:09Speaker 1: around process for many of us. Some of us lost
- 7:13Speaker 1: jobs and now have better jobs. Some of us lost
- 7:17Speaker 1: jobs and now has forced us to rekindle that dream
- 7:21Speaker 1: and that vision for business we had. It's sometimes the
- 7:25Speaker 1: mishap is the thing you need to make something good happen.
- 7:30Speaker 1: See a lot of times we get so comfortable in
- 7:33Speaker 1: our life where we we get complacent, We just settling
- 7:39Speaker 1: in and when this is it and this is what
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm doing. But in actuality, God has a tremendous amount
- 7:45Speaker 1: of abundance for you. He has an amazing amount of things.
- 7:49Speaker 1: He has all these boxes packaged up with your name
- 7:52Speaker 1: on him that he's willing to ship if you would
- 7:55Speaker 1: just align yourself with some of his wills so you
- 7:59Speaker 1: could get some of these things. How many times have
- 8:02Speaker 1: you thought it was over and it didn't really go over.
- 8:05Speaker 1: How many times have you thought, well, this is it
- 8:09Speaker 1: and it wasn't it at all. Well, how many times
- 8:11Speaker 1: do you thought, well, it don't look like this gonna
- 8:13Speaker 1: work out, and it didn't work out, but then something
- 8:16Speaker 1: better came along? How many times has that happened? You've
- 8:21Speaker 1: got to realize this, man. I was talking to a
- 8:23Speaker 1: family who had got displaced from the Katrina thing that
- 8:27Speaker 1: happened down there in New Orleans. And Man, when they said, yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 1: we got a displaced from Katrina, and I braced myself
- 8:34Speaker 1: because the old wo was me, here comes this story.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I gotta hear this, and I gotta be encouraging think
- 8:39Speaker 1: of something. It was totally different. They totally totally blew
- 8:43Speaker 1: me away. Man. The brother said, Man, is actually the
- 8:47Speaker 1: best thing that ever happened to my family. And I
- 8:50Speaker 1: went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said, because
- 8:53Speaker 1: what happened was, he said, I got settled in. He said, Plus,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I was doing some things outside of my marriage down there,
- 9:02Speaker 1: he said, I was doing some stuff in the streets.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I ain't need to be doing. He said, Man, it
- 9:06Speaker 1: all got washed away. We thought our life would never
- 9:09Speaker 1: be the same. But he said, man, my life ain't
- 9:11Speaker 1: need to be the same. He said. Man. Now we
- 9:14Speaker 1: live up here in Texas, we got a house, don't
- 9:18Speaker 1: know nobody, he says, I ain't got nobody I know
- 9:20Speaker 1: to get into trouble with. He said, man, i'd't rediscovered
- 9:23Speaker 1: my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much my
- 9:26Speaker 1: family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's straightened me up. Man, he says, so I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 1: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:36Speaker 1: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:39Speaker 1: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 1: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:46Speaker 1: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: just just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:54Speaker 1: He got some great stuff in store for you. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show, ladies, and gentleman wants to Parliament that dreary
- 10:04Speaker 1: as I parted week and really puzzled by a single query.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I will not do that to you today because that
- 10:12Speaker 1: would depress one of the members of this team. So
- 10:17Speaker 1: I will start over by saying, I love you all,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I appreciate you all. I admire people who are skilled.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I admire people who are driven. I admire people who
- 10:31Speaker 1: are loving and kind. I admire people who aspire to
- 10:37Speaker 1: be more than what they are. That is a description
- 10:42Speaker 1: of people I admire. I also admire people who are
- 10:47Speaker 1: carrying dary. I admire people who stretch themselves beyond the
- 10:55Speaker 1: level of the comfort zone. I admire people who have
- 11:00Speaker 1: been an example to me of what manhood, fatherhood, and
- 11:07Speaker 1: brotherhood should be about. Those other people I admire. Take
- 11:13Speaker 1: some time out today and say thank you to those
- 11:16Speaker 1: people who have helped you become who you are today,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and associate yourself only with those who you aspire to
- 11:26Speaker 1: be like ladies and gentlemen. That's how I decided to
- 11:29Speaker 1: start to show this morning. How you wanted to show
- 11:33Speaker 1: to get started this morning. I'm not really sure that's
- 11:36Speaker 1: no business of mine, because only one person starts to
- 11:39Speaker 1: show every day, and that is more in case you
- 11:44Speaker 1: don't know, that's French, yell bi lingual college and try liness.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You hear me English, French and span Ladies and gentlemen.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Shirley Struck Barry boy, will be better boy, Good morning,
- 12:06Speaker 1: step On, good morning, Yeah, calling for real, see that
- 12:13Speaker 1: fridge too, kids morning, Hey there, Hey, that's hood. Uh
- 12:21Speaker 1: Nacho's what's happening top of the morning nachos in your response?
- 12:29Speaker 1: And well everybody, good sir, we are here. A friend
- 12:39Speaker 1: of mine stopped by yesterday. I very rarely get people
- 12:43Speaker 1: who stopped by. He called me at all about eleven
- 12:49Speaker 1: am and said, hey, man, I'm gonna stop by. I said, okay, cool,
- 12:54Speaker 1: come on, it's good to see him yesterday. Had a
- 12:58Speaker 1: great time. You've never heard me say that. Yeah, because
- 13:03Speaker 1: you're not a stop by the house kind of person.
- 13:05Speaker 1: That's what I right now, I don't have one. You
- 13:07Speaker 1: can stop by, adobel, So okay, I was in the neighborhood.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Can't say it ain't so. Yeah, I had a really
- 13:21Speaker 1: good time. Would you hear folk? Who exactly all of it?
- 13:28Speaker 1: I thought I was at a different country when I'm
- 13:30Speaker 1: man who live here? All right, Well, I'm glad you
- 13:36Speaker 1: had company. Steve coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 1: the hour, asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:42Speaker 1: in the building, right after this, you're listening to the
- 13:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show all right time Now for ask
- 13:49Speaker 1: the clo. We know who that is, the Chief Love Officer,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This one clo is from Elaine in Philly.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Elaine writes, I am a mature woman in my husband
- 14:00Speaker 1: and I are separated, so I started dating again. I'm
- 14:04Speaker 1: having a great time going on dates and my husband
- 14:07Speaker 1: has a problem with me because we live in a
- 14:10Speaker 1: close knit suburb. But get this, We've been separated for
- 14:14Speaker 1: six years and he won't entertain any conversation about divorce.
- 14:19Speaker 1: He says he's trying to help me save my reputation.
- 14:22Speaker 1: But I believe it's his ego that doesn't want me
- 14:25Speaker 1: dating anyone else. I want to file for divorce so
- 14:28Speaker 1: I can be free of him. Why is he hanging
- 14:31Speaker 1: on to me? Why you letting you hang on? You
- 14:34Speaker 1: don't need an agreement to get a divorce, You just
- 14:37Speaker 1: need a divorce. Six years separated, living in a close
- 14:42Speaker 1: knit community, you're dating and he talked about he trying
- 14:46Speaker 1: to save your reputation more, you don't want me right
- 14:51Speaker 1: and what is the reason for the separation? Always remember that, ladies,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to save your reputation. It's your ego, that's
- 15:01Speaker 1: all it is. Why are you allowing this to happen?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Go on about your business? You happy, go file on
- 15:07Speaker 1: your own yet Now, a couple of telltale things in
- 15:10Speaker 1: this set. I'm mature, I'm dating, and we live in
- 15:13Speaker 1: a close knit community. This sounds like a senior citizen holder.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That's what I pulled up out of that. So what
- 15:24Speaker 1: they can date? Right? Yeah? A suburbs. It's a suburbs. Okay,
- 15:32Speaker 1: he got retirement home out of that. Mature in the suburb,
- 15:37Speaker 1: close knit suburbs. Don't try to throw me off with
- 15:40Speaker 1: suburbs in the middle of the town, ain't it. I'm just,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know, showing you how I think you know you
- 15:50Speaker 1: inside the mind? All right? Alicia moving on in Gary, Indiana, says,
- 15:58Speaker 1: my forty five year old husban been his overweight and
- 16:01Speaker 1: he hides food and snacks from me in the house.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Since the pandemic, we've both been watching our weight and
- 16:07Speaker 1: he stopped working out with me after he sprained his wrist.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I've given him an ultimatum to either get back in
- 16:14Speaker 1: the gym or we're not having sex anymore. He's more
- 16:17Speaker 1: content with his cupcakes than with my body. If this
- 16:21Speaker 1: is sign of a bigger problem in our marriage, or
- 16:25Speaker 1: is he just addicted to food? Well, we got a
- 16:28Speaker 1: couple of things going on. Yeah, I think he is
- 16:32Speaker 1: addicted to food. I'm a little bit confused where you
- 16:35Speaker 1: said doing the pandemic. Y'all was watching y'all's weight. I
- 16:39Speaker 1: guess he was on. He is close enough that he
- 16:41Speaker 1: was enjoying the movement. So obviously as he was watching
- 16:46Speaker 1: his weight, he loved the expansion that was going on.
- 16:49Speaker 1: The excuse for not working out was I hurt my wrist.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell walking got to do
- 16:54Speaker 1: with your damn now had food. That's the fat boy syndrome. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 1: that's the fat boy syndrome. Now let's talk about this.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You told him that you weren't gonna have sex with him, Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and that ain't move the needle. He chose the cupcake
- 17:18Speaker 1: over you. He might like cupcakes better than he liked cookies. Oh,
- 17:26Speaker 1: he like cupcakes better he liked cookie. Let's church say, hey,
- 17:34Speaker 1: hey man, let's just move on. Okay, Malika and Richmond says,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I'm twenty eight, my fiance is twenty nine years old.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I was home Friday night, scrolling on Instagram, and I
- 17:46Speaker 1: saw a live video from a jazz concert at the
- 17:49Speaker 1: park and my fiance was in a tent with a
- 17:52Speaker 1: bunch of people, male and female, popping bottles um. He
- 17:57Speaker 1: told me he was going to hang out with the guys,
- 17:59Speaker 1: and I trusted him. I called to let him know
- 18:01Speaker 1: that I saw him and that I was hurt because
- 18:04Speaker 1: he didn't invite me. He said it was his guy's
- 18:06Speaker 1: night out. Uncle, Steve, do guys go to jazz concerts together?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Or is he up to something? Izz killed the boy.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I ain't never been to a concert with a dude.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Well one time I did. Ain't gonna like date night.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Well here's what happened. We was in Vegas. Sean Day
- 18:28Speaker 1: was performing in Vegas, so she invited us to the
- 18:34Speaker 1: show and gave us front row tickets. In Vegas, Me, Boomerang,
- 18:39Speaker 1: JT and another brother walked down the aisle at the
- 18:44Speaker 1: Sea Day Country all the way to the front. Now
- 18:48Speaker 1: we got on big as hat and we sat out
- 18:54Speaker 1: on that front rowand and you to have no idea
- 18:58Speaker 1: how I was feeling as I was walking. Can pass
- 19:00Speaker 1: all our faith? Steve Harvey, Steve Harvey, What's up. What's up?
- 19:05Speaker 1: It was so many, you know, groups of women and
- 19:08Speaker 1: then just men and women, and I felt so damn
- 19:14Speaker 1: the place. I didn't even wait on shot day to
- 19:18Speaker 1: come out. It was not the look I wanted because
- 19:23Speaker 1: you were with a group of guys. It was some
- 19:27Speaker 1: women do it all the time, groups of dude sitting
- 19:30Speaker 1: up on the front row listening to day Crime and
- 19:34Speaker 1: y'all all see a crime. Your love is king King,
- 19:42Speaker 1: And I was one of the kings of comedy. You know,
- 19:46Speaker 1: this is just whole look, ain't even you know? And
- 19:50Speaker 1: were they disappointed when you wanted to get out? Hell no,
- 19:53Speaker 1: they all felt the same thing. Listen, man, you know
- 19:58Speaker 1: what we look like walking down? Did you have to
- 20:03Speaker 1: take your hats off? So the people in the middle,
- 20:05Speaker 1: he'll no stronger than pride. Baby, get up out of here,
- 20:09Speaker 1: you got get up. I hate to be sitting behind y'all.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Ye es, I said that wasn't a good look. So
- 20:20Speaker 1: now me and don't go to jazz concerts by itself.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So what is up? Well, he ain't really up to nothing.
- 20:29Speaker 1: He just got caught in the situation, you know, with
- 20:33Speaker 1: females popping bottles. He's not up to nothing. He got
- 20:39Speaker 1: caught up in something. But it all it was was
- 20:43Speaker 1: he was in the tent popping bottles. That's all it was,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and that's it. Don't make no more of it that
- 20:50Speaker 1: it is. But you have every right to wonder why
- 20:52Speaker 1: you wasn't invited to the jazz club, because dudes don't
- 20:54Speaker 1: go to jazz clubs by they sail. We gotta move on.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Coming up, the nephew would run that break back right
- 21:00Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 21:04Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour and trending
- 21:06Speaker 1: entertainment news. Get a load of this. Bill Cosby thinks R.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Kelly got a raw deal. He talking, he talking, we'll
- 21:17Speaker 1: talk about it. Former President Trump loses his case against Amarosa,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and trending national news. The US government could shut down
- 21:26Speaker 1: by mid October. We'll talk about all of these stories
- 21:28Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, But right now, the
- 21:31Speaker 1: nephew is here, would run that prank back. What you

- 22:40Speaker 1: it is that we've gotten some we've gotten some reports
- 22:43Speaker 1: that you've been having some problems with with your particular wife.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And we're here in Saint Louis, sir. Okay, and don't worry.
- 22:53Speaker 1: We're totally confidential. This is not anything that's going to
- 22:56Speaker 1: get out um and and your your names are never submitted.
- 23:00Speaker 1: First of all, here's here's something we can do. I
- 23:02Speaker 1: can ask you questions because we've been notified that this
- 23:04Speaker 1: is probably a service that you would probably want. Now, Um,
- 23:08Speaker 1: has your wife ever snapped on you in public and
- 23:12Speaker 1: snapped on me? I mean what I mean she My
- 23:15Speaker 1: wife ain't crazy. She don't just snap on me. She might,
- 23:18Speaker 1: you know, try to check me or say something. You
- 23:20Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. She's just gonna snap on me
- 23:22Speaker 1: in probably so your wife your so your wife has
- 23:24Speaker 1: tried to check him, It's what you're saying. May not
- 23:26Speaker 1: check me per se. I mean she might. She might
- 23:29Speaker 1: not like some mom doing and might say something about it.
- 23:31Speaker 1: But so basically your wife is not in her place
- 23:35Speaker 1: where she needs to be old. I mean what you
- 23:37Speaker 1: mean plan I mean she might say something, you know.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I mean I might be doing something more, you know,
- 23:42Speaker 1: might be with my boys and might get out of
- 23:44Speaker 1: control a little bit. She might just say something at
- 23:46Speaker 1: the time, but she don't just try to all out
- 23:48Speaker 1: check nobody. You know what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Let me ask you this one.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Have you ever just had some plans with your guys
- 23:54Speaker 1: We're gonna go out, and had to change your plans because, um,
- 23:58Speaker 1: your wife. Well, I mean, if like I'm just coming
- 24:02Speaker 1: about hanging out and I ain't let her know or something.
- 24:04Speaker 1: She might you know, be like, well, baby already had playing,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you know, can you stay home with the boys or something?
- 24:09Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean nothing on the regular. You
- 24:11Speaker 1: know how I usually do what I want to do.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Seems like denial. Okay, here's another one, sir, well, no, listen, listen,
- 24:18Speaker 1: hear me out. Now, let me ask you this um
- 24:20Speaker 1: has your wife. Let's say, back when Michael Jordan was
- 24:23Speaker 1: playing basketball, did you ever miss a playoff game on
- 24:26Speaker 1: television because your wife wanted to watch something else. I mean,
- 24:30Speaker 1: we got two TVs in my house, man, I wish No.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I don't even get down. I mean I might have
- 24:34Speaker 1: to watch the little TV, okay, but I mean I
- 24:37Speaker 1: usually watch it on the big shaly. Yeah. But but
- 24:39Speaker 1: you doing You've been pushed to watching the smaller television. No,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I wouldn't push to do nothing. Man. What I'm trying
- 24:46Speaker 1: to tell you is, I mean we compromise. We do
- 24:48Speaker 1: fifty fifty in my house. I mean, she might get
- 24:50Speaker 1: the big TV to watch her stories or something, and
- 24:52Speaker 1: I just had to go watch the little TV. Little TV.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Do go out of here once to see? We got
- 24:57Speaker 1: so cool with that though I'm cool with that. You're
- 25:00Speaker 1: here with that, so you're you're actually the one that's programmed.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And you ain't nothing wrong with my wife, ain't nothing
- 25:06Speaker 1: wrong with within my family? You know, I honderstand Well,
- 25:09Speaker 1: let me the reason why I'm asking you these particular
- 25:11Speaker 1: questions is because someone has actually let me know the
- 25:15Speaker 1: problems that are at hand in your household. Let me
- 25:17Speaker 1: ask you. I got one question for you. Here's what
- 25:19Speaker 1: I want to ask you. Has your wife ever cussed
- 25:22Speaker 1: you out at a family cookout? Hey? Man, hold on, man,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know what you're getting a little personal Man? Is

- 25:39Speaker 1: don't make me be your guinea pig. Don't don't start
- 25:42Speaker 1: out calling me trying to get you know, referral to
- 25:45Speaker 1: the clientele or whatever it is you trying to do. Man,
- 25:47Speaker 1: don't call me with this nonsense. Partner, and I completely
- 25:50Speaker 1: understand it. Wcs sir, is here to benefit you. It
- 25:55Speaker 1: ain't no benefit to me, man, getting I look at
- 25:56Speaker 1: my personal business one and what's going on in mind?
- 25:59Speaker 1: ALSOLD okay, Well, last thing I want to ask you,
- 26:02Speaker 1: and this is the last question I have for youna,
- 26:04Speaker 1: make it, make this the last I want to straight up. Okay,
- 26:07Speaker 1: have you do you do? Do you buy your own clothes?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Or does she buy the company? You know what? Man?
- 26:12Speaker 1: This man? You whatever company? This is? Dog, don't call
- 26:16Speaker 1: house no more? And whatever put you up to this?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Whoever give you my number? Talk about my wife? Checked
- 26:22Speaker 1: me or got me under control? Got me on lock man?
- 26:25Speaker 1: You tell him too, don't call me no more? Are
- 26:28Speaker 1: you are you? Are you in denying dog? Noble house?
- 26:33Speaker 1: No more. I'm gonna tell you what, George Foreman or
- 26:35Speaker 1: whatever it's Marcus's Marcus, whoever you are, George Foreman, Marcus, Hey,
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. I'm gonna find a way. Yeah,
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm located, dog, I'm coming down there, and I'm gonna
- 26:47Speaker 1: pushing as you in my personal pure you're ready, you're
- 26:49Speaker 1: ready to retaliate on mealiate, but you don't want to
- 26:53Speaker 1: retaliate on the problems you have with your wife. Retaliation. Man,
- 26:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying, you're calling my house, I'm minding my
- 27:00Speaker 1: and as you worrying about who you're watching what TV
- 27:02Speaker 1: in my house and my wife checking me in public?

- 27:08Speaker 1: don't you want to watch the big television? Big TV? Man?
- 27:11Speaker 1: I'm comfortable with the TV I got. You know what
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm saying. It's in my room. I gonna get across
- 27:16Speaker 1: the bed, watch whatever I want to whenever I want
- 27:18Speaker 1: to do. Don't you want to be able to go
- 27:19Speaker 1: out with the boys when you went? I want my partners, doll,
- 27:23Speaker 1: not a fact you need to get partners? You call
- 27:26Speaker 1: asking dumb. Listen what you want to do to me

- 28:47Speaker 1: call your husbands and see if they want to use
- 28:49Speaker 1: my services. I'm just saying, you know, anybody want to
- 28:52Speaker 1: do that? How y'all don't know? Let me know, because
- 28:59Speaker 1: then it's gonna be another conversation, different conversation. Sweetest Steak,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Sweetest Day Comedy Takeover. It's going down octop with the
- 29:08Speaker 1: sixteen at Music Hall the Music Hall in Detroit, Michigan.
- 29:11Speaker 1: That's Dominique Rodney Perry, Tommy Davidson's Guide Tory hosted by
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yours truly me nephew Tommy sixteen Saturday Night take its
- 29:20Speaker 1: own sale Detroit right now? All right, thank you, nephew.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour Entertainment News.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steven show Bill Cosby
- 29:33Speaker 1: is speaking out um he thinks R. Kelly got a
- 29:37Speaker 1: raw deal. Cosby, who was just recently released from prison himself,
- 29:41Speaker 1: believes that Robert Robert got a bad deal when he
- 29:45Speaker 1: was found guilty in his federal sex crimes case. This week.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Cosby spokesperson Andrew Wyatt says that Cosby said the guy
- 29:54Speaker 1: was railroaded speaking of R. Kelly, and he blames famous
- 29:58Speaker 1: women's civil rights a journey Gloria Alread and systemic racism.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Alread represented alleged victims in both Cosby and Kelly's cases.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Kelly is facing ten years to life when he gets sentenced.
- 30:11Speaker 1: In may Or, Kelly tweeted a statement he said to
- 30:15Speaker 1: all my fans and supporters, I love you all and
- 30:18Speaker 1: thank you for all the support. Today's verdict was disappointing,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and I will continue to prove my innocence and fight
- 30:26Speaker 1: for my freedom. Hashtag not guilty what Well, here's here's
- 30:32Speaker 1: a problem with Cosby's statement. I mean he mentored me,
- 30:39Speaker 1: I mean he taught me a lot. So I'm speaking
- 30:42Speaker 1: from a standpoint of all soul just hearing these statements.
- 30:48Speaker 1: When you say that R. Kelly was railroaded and given
- 30:51Speaker 1: a bad deal, you have to be careful with that statement,
- 30:55Speaker 1: because I can assure you something has happened. And when
- 31:00Speaker 1: you say that R. Kelly was railroaded and given a
- 31:03Speaker 1: bad deal, you must take into consideration that there are
- 31:07Speaker 1: some victims here, and you have no excuse when we
- 31:13Speaker 1: are talking about children. Look, if two adults are consenting,
- 31:20Speaker 1: that ain't none of them my business. That shouldn't be
- 31:23Speaker 1: none of our business. But you can't get consent from
- 31:27Speaker 1: a miner because a miner doesn't have the mental capability
- 31:32Speaker 1: of processing everything that you're presenting to them in such
- 31:35Speaker 1: an old, mature way in their young, underdeveloped mind. And
- 31:40Speaker 1: we all know this as a fact. I just think
- 31:45Speaker 1: he's got to be very careful about that man, because
- 31:48Speaker 1: you can't say that Robert was given a bum deal
- 31:50Speaker 1: and a bad rap and ignored the bum deal and
- 31:53Speaker 1: a bad rap to these girls got stove And look,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I got what you're saying about this attorney, And that
- 32:03Speaker 1: was something that happened in the cause Be trial that
- 32:06Speaker 1: caused this judge to come in. That's real, that really
- 32:10Speaker 1: happened but you can't apply that peanut butter to his bread.
- 32:16Speaker 1: You can't put that on him. You know, you cannot
- 32:22Speaker 1: ignore the victims in this case, and it's too many. Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 1: they did a whole movie about it, Surviving document a documentary.
- 32:30Speaker 1: It was a victim after victim over repeated behavior, so
- 32:36Speaker 1: the same kind of behavior. They did the same thing
- 32:39Speaker 1: to all of these women. Yeah, justice for the victim
- 32:43Speaker 1: LA girls. You know we already said in the media. However,
- 32:47Speaker 1: you know that we feel that people don't care about
- 32:49Speaker 1: what happened to young black women and girls. So justice
- 32:54Speaker 1: for them. And his statement R Kelly with the whole
- 32:56Speaker 1: innocent innocence I'm still still be quiet, sir, Yes, innocence.
- 33:03Speaker 1: You are you kidding me? You have more trials to
- 33:07Speaker 1: go Chicago, This isn't over there, and ten years to
- 33:15Speaker 1: life in this particular trial, he's got more, but he
- 33:18Speaker 1: got to go two more times. Ye, So what does
- 33:21Speaker 1: that tell you, Tommy? Repeated behavior in different parts of
- 33:24Speaker 1: the country over see. Look, man, I know that attorneys
- 33:29Speaker 1: to pile on I get that, I know attorneys to
- 33:33Speaker 1: blost to that case. I know prosecutors have done some
- 33:36Speaker 1: stuff to us in terms of systemic racism since we
- 33:40Speaker 1: got here, we all are very familiar with that. But
- 33:45Speaker 1: you can't give him enough real evidence to pile on
- 33:48Speaker 1: the other evidence. Come on, you gave him too much
- 33:53Speaker 1: real stuff. We got films. We have a woman this
- 33:59Speaker 1: is going to get her mama out of a dough,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and it's filmed and the girl wouldn't come out the
- 34:06Speaker 1: dough and she talking to her mom in the hallway.
- 34:10Speaker 1: That wasn't That wasn't reality TV. That was a documentary. Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: So to say he was railroaded Bill Cosby, Please, hey,
- 34:19Speaker 1: when when R. Kelly did the interview with Gail King
- 34:23Speaker 1: and when them two young girls sat down and R.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Kelly would in the hallway clearing his throat, that was
- 34:30Speaker 1: controllers and don't say and then the girls came to
- 34:36Speaker 1: court and testified to that it was It's like, ojay,
- 34:43Speaker 1: he wouldn't sit down and be quiet. Oh he's gonna
- 34:45Speaker 1: say something tomorrow. Trust he's gonna say something to mow. Yeah,
- 34:53Speaker 1: but you still won't shut up, that's right. And can't
- 34:55Speaker 1: say something about Andrew Wyatt his person attorney. Are you
- 35:01Speaker 1: for real or dog? You've got to be able to
- 35:05Speaker 1: say to your client, Hey, man, I don't think this
- 35:08Speaker 1: is smart for us to do this at this time. Well,
- 35:11Speaker 1: you're Bill Coffee's representative. You have to be able to
- 35:14Speaker 1: say that. Somebody got to be in your circle to say, Yo, man,
- 35:17Speaker 1: you find to say what, Well, we don't know that.
- 35:19Speaker 1: He didn't say it, and Cosby said what he said anyway, No, No,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Cosby said this. Yeah, but Andrew Wyott, the attorney, the spokesperson,
- 35:30Speaker 1: somebody in your camp gotta be able to say, dog,
- 35:32Speaker 1: you find to say what. But what I'm saying is
- 35:35Speaker 1: we don't know that. They didn't come mister Cosby to
- 35:37Speaker 1: beat I know that, but he stid The quote came
- 35:43Speaker 1: from Andrew Wyatt, and somebody got to say, man, we're
- 35:48Speaker 1: not doing that. Yeah. I'm telling you, when you are,
- 35:53Speaker 1: when you're famous, you gotta have people around you, man,
- 35:56Speaker 1: that tell you the truth. If you don't, you're gonna
- 35:59Speaker 1: let your fame, your ego getting your damn way. Like
- 36:03Speaker 1: that's what's happening here. All right, We're gonna move on.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Coming up for twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 36:08Speaker 1: sports talk with Junior Lebron James news Hunt. Junior, we'll
- 36:12Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening Dave Harvey
- 36:16Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, brace yourselves because Junior is
- 36:20Speaker 1: in the building. Not with the poem, sadly, but he
- 36:24Speaker 1: is here at Sports Talk, which you got Junior okay, well,
- 36:28Speaker 1: doing a recent interview on the Many Brothers simul care
- 36:31Speaker 1: my man, Lebron James says he was offered two NFL
- 36:35Speaker 1: contracts now, one of the contracts being from the Dallas
- 36:38Speaker 1: Cowboys owner Jerry Jones himself. Take a listen, Jerry Jones
- 36:41Speaker 1: offered me a contract. Also. Pete Carroll did as well
- 36:44Speaker 1: in Seattle during our lockout time, and it definitely got
- 36:47Speaker 1: my blood flowing again, got my mind racing again thinking
- 36:50Speaker 1: about the game of football, you know, being out there
- 36:53Speaker 1: on Sundays. But you know we're able to get a
- 36:55Speaker 1: deal done in the NBA and I was back on
- 36:56Speaker 1: the court no time, but I definitely thought about it.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I still got the jersey too that Jerry Andy Carroll
- 37:01Speaker 1: sent me from twenty eleven. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Lebron James
- 37:09Speaker 1: gonna play in an NFL. Who was this is that?
- 37:13Speaker 1: When he played tight end? How big kids? You can't
- 37:20Speaker 1: wait till you in your thirties, Gonna put them showing
- 37:24Speaker 1: the paths out there with them boys out there. That's
- 37:26Speaker 1: a whole another sport. When you play the high school too, though,
- 37:29Speaker 1: didn't high school. I played in high school time in
- 37:36Speaker 1: your right time. He's a big boy. He could take
- 37:39Speaker 1: a hit one time. See when you were in high school.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I saw the footage of him in high school, the
- 37:45Speaker 1: biggest one out there. You're not fit to be the
- 37:47Speaker 1: biggest one out here in the NFL. No, no, no, no, no.
- 37:52Speaker 1: They got you. They got a lot of you out there,
- 37:56Speaker 1: and they fast fast, dog. It's physical. It's physical. Yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 1: The linebacker that's covering you run the same speed you do. Hello,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I got my money on Lebron like I ain't got
- 38:08Speaker 1: a quarter anymore, splashed all over that damn. One of
- 38:15Speaker 1: the greatest basketball players. He will be on the Mount
- 38:18Speaker 1: Rushmore or basketball. But in taotball, you go over the
- 38:22Speaker 1: middle one time and watch what they do. You do
- 38:24Speaker 1: them safeties and stuff. Man, Lebron just ain't what. I
- 38:28Speaker 1: don't care. Who sent you a jersey? Not playing? I
- 38:31Speaker 1: sent you jersey. Ain't seen you know, patch, didn't they
- 38:35Speaker 1: It's the pads, And it's very different in football than basketball.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You know, going across the lane in basketball, it ain't
- 38:42Speaker 1: be five. It's eleven out here. Football is a collision sport. Yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: also Lebron, he also made news man. Lebron revealed that
- 38:57Speaker 1: he did get the COVID nineteen vaccine and said it
- 38:59Speaker 1: was the best choice for him and his family. So,
- 39:02Speaker 1: you know, Broun, but he's not encouraging anyone else to. Yeah, well,
- 39:07Speaker 1: you know Wiggins and beal ass Is gonna get this
- 39:10Speaker 1: vaccine and you're not gonna be playing. And Kyrie Irving
- 39:14Speaker 1: with this foolishness talking about he just won't play no
- 39:17Speaker 1: home games. He's another one. Somebody need to sit his
- 39:23Speaker 1: ass down, and you stopped talking. We're moving on. Coming

- 40:01Speaker 1: know that early detection is key. Well, No, Vardas has

- 41:06Speaker 1: how's your mom's health. My mom is doing so much better.
- 41:11Speaker 1: You know, we're taking it one day at a time.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I feel like breast cancer you always you can never
- 41:19Speaker 1: get too confident because you know you never know how
- 41:21Speaker 1: things are going to end up. And I want to
- 41:24Speaker 1: be conscious of the people who are still going through
- 41:28Speaker 1: their diagnosis right now or they're getting you know, reoccurring diagnosis.
- 41:32Speaker 1: So but she's doing really well. Early detection is the key. Yes,
- 41:37Speaker 1: it is definitely the early detection is key, and especially
- 41:40Speaker 1: for Black women. With these numbers, black women are approximately
- 41:44Speaker 1: forty percent more likely to die of breast cancer. Just
- 41:48Speaker 1: let's talk more about more than just words? Uh, this
- 41:52Speaker 1: initiative give us a quick overview of more than just words. Yeah. So,
- 41:57Speaker 1: More than just words is a Camp Pain partner with
- 42:01Speaker 1: Nive artists that's committed to promote health equity and breast
- 42:04Speaker 1: cancer and really just urge Black women to get mamograms
- 42:08Speaker 1: and get screenings and to take care of themselves. And
- 42:11Speaker 1: I'm passionate obviously because my mother was diagnosed a couple
- 42:14Speaker 1: of years ago, but also because I love Black women
- 42:17Speaker 1: and I think that we are the best things since
- 42:21Speaker 1: life's bread and we have love you. I guess so, Jasmine,
- 42:27Speaker 1: how is more than just words addressing this? Because this
- 42:31Speaker 1: is action? So can you talk a little bit about
- 42:34Speaker 1: that please? Yeah? So, more than just words is um
- 42:38Speaker 1: campaigning with the leading hosts experts just about continuing these
- 42:41Speaker 1: conversations talking to our family members, talking to our mothers
- 42:45Speaker 1: and our aunties and our grandmas, because I feel like
- 42:47Speaker 1: as a Black community, we don't talk a lot about health,
- 42:50Speaker 1: and we have to because you have to know where
- 42:52Speaker 1: you're coming from. You don't know where you're going. Absolutely,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I think too in our community black women, the generations.
- 43:01Speaker 1: You know, you talked about your grandma's and your untie's, Jasmine,
- 43:04Speaker 1: and I think for us we get as black women,
- 43:06Speaker 1: we put everyone else's needs before ourselves. Yeah. So one
- 43:11Speaker 1: way they can find out information is by going to
- 43:13Speaker 1: www dot more than just words dot us. I found
- 43:17Speaker 1: out so much information that I didn't know even with
- 43:20Speaker 1: experiencing it with my mother, I didn't know a lot
- 43:22Speaker 1: about all these statistics that I've learned on the website.
- 43:26Speaker 1: So definitely go there and like we said, just continue
- 43:30Speaker 1: to have these conversations. One more time, go to more
- 43:33Speaker 1: than just words dot us, more than just words dot
- 43:37Speaker 1: us to find out more. Jasmine Sullivan has been our
- 43:41Speaker 1: special guests. We love you and continued success to you.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Thank you guys for having me. I appreciate it. Coming
- 43:47Speaker 1: up next, the nephew is here with the prank phone call.
- 43:53Speaker 1: You're listening to show coming up at the top of
- 43:58Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:01Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject he's not equipped to handle me.
- 44:06Speaker 1: All right. We'll get into that in just a little bit.
- 44:10Speaker 1: All right, he's not equipped to handle me. Right now,
- 44:13Speaker 1: the nephew is here to handle this prank phone call
- 44:16Speaker 1: for us? What you got for us? Nas, Yo drunk husband? Yeah, yo, drunk?
- 44:23Speaker 1: All right, let's go straight to it, yo drunk us.
- 44:26Speaker 1: But let's right Hello, you gotta hold on an okay,
- 44:31Speaker 1: all right, I got your phone. I'll give your wife
- 44:33Speaker 1: a call. Hello, Hello, a right right now. You're inebriating, sir, okay,
- 44:38Speaker 1: right now, to be taking you in, but I'm not
- 44:40Speaker 1: gonna do that. You let me. I'm able to come
- 44:43Speaker 1: and pick you off. I'll let her come get you,
- 44:45Speaker 1: all right, all I'll ride. It's gonna office. The bride's
- 44:48Speaker 1: gonna put you in his squad call. I'm gonna call
- 44:50Speaker 1: your wife. I've got the phone, dolling now all right, okay, Hello, Hello?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Who is who am I foosh with? Please? Who is it?
- 45:01Speaker 1: This is Officer Daniels Offer Daniel you just called from.
- 45:06Speaker 1: This is my husband number? Who is who is officer.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Then I am Officer Daniels Many. Your husband's actually been
- 45:12Speaker 1: pulled over and he's been uh, actually he's in another
- 45:16Speaker 1: officer's car. He's he's a little bit of kneebriated here
- 45:20Speaker 1: and we're trying to see about getting him picked up.
- 45:23Speaker 1: I'm trying my best not to take him in today,
- 45:25Speaker 1: so I'm trying to be a good Samaritan. I'm trying
- 45:27Speaker 1: to get someone to come and pick him up. Hold on,
- 45:29Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, back up, back up. You got
- 45:32Speaker 1: my husband? Uh what I got here on the driver's
- 45:35Speaker 1: license is Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now. He's
- 45:39Speaker 1: actually an Officer Brian's squad car right now. So he
- 45:43Speaker 1: was actually bobbing and weaving out on the road and
- 45:46Speaker 1: we pulled him over. He's not creating any problems. The
- 45:49Speaker 1: young lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're trying,
- 45:52Speaker 1: what we're trying to do is get somebody to come
- 45:54Speaker 1: and pick him up. You don't have my husband because
- 45:56Speaker 1: my husband's didn't work, so he can't be in the
- 45:58Speaker 1: officer Brian in her car. And did you say tim again,
- 46:03Speaker 1: did you say somebody's with Kennedy? That was a young
- 46:06Speaker 1: lady in the car. Man, we're actually letting her go
- 46:08Speaker 1: because she's not inebriated from a look though at somebody.
- 46:12Speaker 1: She's calling somebody to pick her up. Now, man, No,
- 46:16Speaker 1: I can't believe it. Kenny, and I know that dirty
- 46:19Speaker 1: song gotten a back in my car. That's my car.
- 46:22Speaker 1: And you said that he had Timidus officer Temmidus look
- 46:26Speaker 1: at that and telling what she looked like. If that'd
- 46:29Speaker 1: not be that, that'd not be the one I think
- 46:31Speaker 1: she I have no idea. Excuse me, ma'am. I know
- 46:37Speaker 1: about it in my cause he's supposed to be working.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Jack. Jasmine, okay, you're Jasmine? Okay, no, just
- 46:49Speaker 1: we'll talk to your moment. Yea, her name is Jasmine.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I'm not sure who she is, but keep them keep it, yeah,
- 46:57Speaker 1: holding that time I get there. I'm on my way.
- 46:59Speaker 1: I'm on my way right now. Hey, Bridget, I want
- 47:02Speaker 1: you to watch these children from the time I get back.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I'm going to see if I can give me a
- 47:06Speaker 1: ride up to the truck stop and I'll be back
- 47:07Speaker 1: in a minute. Hello. Yeah, Hello, I'm here. Yeah, I'm here.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm here. Okay, man, listen, I can't I can't stay
- 47:17Speaker 1: here too much longer. I can. I can say maybe
- 47:19Speaker 1: another fifteen twenty minutes. Somebody come to get the car,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and but I gotta keep moving here. I'm just trying
- 47:24Speaker 1: to do another because I'm all my way. I'm all
- 47:28Speaker 1: my way. I'm all my way. I got my purse
- 47:31Speaker 1: in my hand. I'm all my way to that fuck stop,
- 47:35Speaker 1: please don't take that nowhere, because I got something for
- 47:38Speaker 1: his And when I get there, I hope like hell,
- 47:41Speaker 1: and ain't they they's been calling to with me all
- 47:44Speaker 1: through the night. Leave for the attack. Get there because
- 47:47Speaker 1: I got some things that I need to take care of.
- 47:50Speaker 1: This thing. Don't move the squad car to I get there.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I'm all wait right now, right now, I be there
- 47:56Speaker 1: in a minute. I well, that took my time picked
- 48:00Speaker 1: up there. To date, we have had arguments over this.
- 48:04Speaker 1: It better not do that. If better not, I bet you,
- 48:07Speaker 1: If bet not be her, it better not be here.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm all my way. I'll be there in a minute.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I be there. I get them. Okay. Well, now here's
- 48:16Speaker 1: a guy that was with Kenny. Let me close not
- 48:18Speaker 1: she can hear me better? Man. Here was another gentleman
- 48:22Speaker 1: that was in the back seat of the car that
- 48:23Speaker 1: was riding with Kenny and the young lady. I don't
- 48:27Speaker 1: give it. I know other rider with Kenny. Just make
- 48:30Speaker 1: sure he's there when I get there. Okay, okay, Now
- 48:33Speaker 1: do you know who this other gentleman? Do you know
- 48:36Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy? I don't care, but I know Nephew Tommy.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy sent to you. This is Nephew Tommy from
- 48:49Speaker 1: the Steve waved morning, your baby. Your husband Kenny got

- 51:18Speaker 1: you know, playful, stupid, ignorant. You know just ain't got
- 51:22Speaker 1: no sense. I'm just sorry. I'm trying to wait on

- 52:30Speaker 1: I've noticed though, I'm I'm really alarmed at some of
- 52:35Speaker 1: the theories that people have about dating and relationships, and
- 52:39Speaker 1: it just thoroughly explains why they ain't got nobody. I
- 52:44Speaker 1: remember some of the thought process about how they think
- 52:47Speaker 1: a date are to go, how they how they think
- 52:50Speaker 1: a woman ought to be and a woman, how he
- 52:52Speaker 1: ought to be and how we're gonna be with each other.
- 52:54Speaker 1: And they have such offbeat thinking processes that it explains
- 52:58Speaker 1: why they're on the show. Pipe Dreams Though, pipe Dreams.
- 53:06Speaker 1: All right, thank enoph you coming up. Strawberry Letters. Subject

- 53:36Speaker 1: it could be yours. It could be yours. Buckle up,
- 53:39Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here. It
- 53:41Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. All right, Thank you, nephew. Subject,
- 53:44Speaker 1: He's not equipped to handle me. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 53:49Speaker 1: am married to a man that was my king, and
- 53:52Speaker 1: he messed it all up by having a female best friend.
- 53:55Speaker 1: He didn't have a physical affair with her, but he
- 53:58Speaker 1: had an emotional one, and he shared intimate details of
- 54:02Speaker 1: our marriage, good and bad. Then he encouraged her to
- 54:05Speaker 1: call me and have a talk with me about how
- 54:08Speaker 1: unhappy he is in our marriage. When she called, I
- 54:12Speaker 1: got so teed off that I invited her over. I
- 54:15Speaker 1: made sure my husband wasn't home so I could drag
- 54:18Speaker 1: her around my house by her dirty wig. She knew
- 54:22Speaker 1: that I was crazy, so luckily for her, she brought
- 54:25Speaker 1: her sister with her. There is no way I could
- 54:28Speaker 1: handle them both. So I sat in my own house
- 54:32Speaker 1: and listened to this woman tell me was lacking in
- 54:35Speaker 1: my marriage and what irritates my husband. She went on
- 54:39Speaker 1: and on for a few minutes, and her sister finally
- 54:42Speaker 1: broke her silence and told her own sister that she
- 54:45Speaker 1: had a lot of nerve to come up in my
- 54:47Speaker 1: house to do to do that, and she ushered her
- 54:50Speaker 1: out of my house. I yelled to the woman that
- 54:53Speaker 1: I was still going to beat her tale if I
- 54:56Speaker 1: see her out. My husband got wind of what has
- 54:59Speaker 1: so called, but he did and he didn't come home.
- 55:02Speaker 1: He texted and said he'd give me a day or
- 55:04Speaker 1: two to cool off. In the meantime, I sent a
- 55:08Speaker 1: group text to three of his closest friends with a
- 55:11Speaker 1: video of how he's not equipped to deal with me
- 55:14Speaker 1: in the bedroom. In the video, he wasn't able to
- 55:18Speaker 1: perform and he was getting frustrated because his little man
- 55:22Speaker 1: kept flopping around his friends all set, all sent laughing emojis,
- 55:29Speaker 1: and said he'll never live this one down. I got revenge,
- 55:33Speaker 1: so I'm cool. But he's furious and claims he had
- 55:36Speaker 1: good intentions. He's not equipped to handle me in or
- 55:40Speaker 1: out of the bedroom, and he shouldn't have told our business.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Are we headed for divorce? Or can we move past this?
- 55:47Speaker 1: Woo listen. I think if you get past this, it
- 55:51Speaker 1: will be a miracle from God. Okay, it will be
- 55:55Speaker 1: a miracle from God. You already know two wrongs don't
- 55:58Speaker 1: make a right, and they absolutely do not. But what
- 56:01Speaker 1: you did was so wrong and it was pretty much unforgivable.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I mean, what he did was horrible too. I'm not
- 56:07Speaker 1: letting him off the hook at all. He should not
- 56:10Speaker 1: have shared your intimate details, none of that. Your husband
- 56:13Speaker 1: was wrong to blast all that to his bestie. But
- 56:17Speaker 1: at least all he did was run his mouth. You
- 56:22Speaker 1: You disgraced and humiliated him by showing his private parts
- 56:27Speaker 1: to his boys. I just don't see how there's any
- 56:32Speaker 1: coming back from that or his little man. I said
- 56:34Speaker 1: private parts, but you called it his little man. Huh.
- 56:39Speaker 1: The only one who seems to have any sense in
- 56:42Speaker 1: this whole letter is your husband's friend's sister, who checked
- 56:46Speaker 1: her sister for being at your house and for disrespecting you,
- 56:51Speaker 1: and then ushering here, ushering her up out of your
- 56:54Speaker 1: house again. I don't know how you come back from
- 56:56Speaker 1: something like this unless the Lord himself intervened. Otherwise. I
- 57:00Speaker 1: think you guys are done and your marriage is over. Steve.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I think it's something wrong with every single person in
- 57:09Speaker 1: this letter, every single person in this letter, and I'll
- 57:15Speaker 1: tell you why, and I don't I don't know what.
- 57:19Speaker 1: This ain't gonna He's not equipped to handle me. This
- 57:23Speaker 1: woman writes in says she's married to a man that
- 57:25Speaker 1: was my king right there. If this was your king,
- 57:31Speaker 1: and this is who you chose to marry, and this
- 57:35Speaker 1: is how he is, and then this is how you
- 57:39Speaker 1: treated him. I showed would hate to be your slave
- 57:44Speaker 1: because this is how you treat the king. Lord ha mercy.
- 57:49Speaker 1: This letter is doomed from the get go, y'all, but
- 57:52Speaker 1: he messed it all up. By having a female best friend. Now,
- 57:56Speaker 1: he didn't have the physical affair with him, but he's emotional.
- 58:00Speaker 1: This fool. He shared intimate details of our marriage. He
- 58:03Speaker 1: didn't say that. I'm saying that. He shared intimate details
- 58:06Speaker 1: about marriage, good and bad. Then he encouraged her to
- 58:09Speaker 1: call me and have a talk with me about how
- 58:11Speaker 1: unhappy is in our marriage. Okay, how stupid is your king?
- 58:17Speaker 1: How stupid is your king? Hate Fellas? What woman would
- 58:23Speaker 1: you have call your wife to tell your wife what's
- 58:30Speaker 1: wrong with her and how unhappy you are in your marriage?
- 58:34Speaker 1: What man listening to this show would dude that stupid
- 58:39Speaker 1: ass move like? I thought? Nobody? Okay? Cool? What she called?
- 58:44Speaker 1: I was so teed off that I invited over. I
- 58:47Speaker 1: made sure my husband wasn't home so I could drag
- 58:49Speaker 1: around my house by her dirty wig. She knew I
- 58:52Speaker 1: was crazy, so luckily for her, she brought her sister
- 58:55Speaker 1: with her. Wow, now this is kind of crazy. What
- 59:02Speaker 1: a housewife show? Is this? Because you going over another
- 59:09Speaker 1: woman house to sit her down to tell her about
- 59:13Speaker 1: what's wrong with her in her marriage. There's no she
- 59:18Speaker 1: bought her sister with her. Luckily for her, she bought
- 59:20Speaker 1: her sister women, and there was no way I can
- 59:22Speaker 1: handle them both, so I said in my own house,
- 59:24Speaker 1: and I listened to this woman tell me what's lacking
- 59:26Speaker 1: in my marriage and irritates my husband. She went on
- 59:30Speaker 1: and on for a few minutes, and then her sister
- 59:33Speaker 1: broke her silence. Her own sister said she had a
- 59:36Speaker 1: lot of nerve to come to my house and ushered
- 59:38Speaker 1: her out of my house. But as something wrong with
- 59:40Speaker 1: your sister too, though, because I wouldn't went over that
- 59:43Speaker 1: with you in the first place. Wait a minute, hold up, sister,
- 59:46Speaker 1: you cann't do what you finn't go over his house
- 59:50Speaker 1: and tell her what's wrong with them? No, we not
- 59:53Speaker 1: once again. You need some better people around you, like
- 59:56Speaker 1: so we'll not come back. I'll tell you the rest
- 59:58Speaker 1: of them. All right, we'll have part two if Steve's
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after subject He's
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: not equipped to handle me, we'll get into it right
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter, the subject he is not equipped
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: to handle me. We didn't got to that part yet.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Woman married to a man, she says, her keen, but
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: he messed it all up by having a female friend.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: This dude has been telling this female friend everything about
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: his marriage, good and bad, and then asked the female
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: friend of his to go and talk to his wife
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: for him and tell her what she's unhappy with in
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: her marriage. This dumb woman calls up this man's wife
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: arranges to meet with her, but she knowed a woman crazy,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: so she gets her sister to go over that with her.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: She gets over to the house proceeds to tell of
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the woman was wrong in her marriage, until her sister
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: couldn't take it no more and told her you was
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: wrong for coming over here, coming up in this house
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and ushered her out the house. I yelled to the
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: woman that I was still gonna beat the tail when
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I see her out. Okay, this one who is mess
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: right here? See you out where. My husband got well
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: into what his so called buddy, this female friend did,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and he didn't come home. And he texts and said
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: he give me a day or two. The cool law
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: that's because he know how crazy his wife is. He'd
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: know if I go in here now, all hell gonna
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: break loose. This is how crazy this woman is. But
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I mean, really, this sister right, yeah, well, you come
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: up in my house talking to me about me and
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: my man. I mean, she bosts have a problem. But
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: the gall of this stupid so called best friend to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: go to this woman's house. But then the utter stupidity
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: of the husband for asking her to go talk to
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: his wife. It's so many fools in this letter. I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: don't even know where to go. Calm down, Stephen. Now
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: here's where the letter take a dog turn. In the meantime,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I sent him a group texting three of his closest
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: friends with a video of how he's not equipped to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: deal with me in the bedroom. In the video, he
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: wasn't able to perform, and he was getting frustrated because
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: his little man kept flopping around. His friends all sent
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: laughing emojis and said he'll never live this down. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: got revealed, So I'm cool. I don't understand this group
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: of people. I don't understand this group of people when
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you send a sex video out, lady, ain't you any
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just curious. So now you have sent
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: his video all his friends saying he ain't gonna leave
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: us down. So now they've been to tease him. Now
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you say I got revenged, so I'm cool, But he's
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: furious and claims he had good intentions. Then you say
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: he's not equipped to handle me in out of the bedroom,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and he should and that he shouldn't have told our business.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Now you saying he ain't equipped to handle you in
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: or out of bed room. Ain't nobody can handle you
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: out of bed room? But in a minute ago he
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: was your king, So king did something early on, someone
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: was working to make you want to be queen all.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Wouldn't nobody else ask your crazy ass to get him married?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: One of the things, are we headed for divorce? Or
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: can we move past this? I don't like, Shirley said,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I don't know unless you have an act of God
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: come in here. I don't know where y'all think y'all going.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Why y'all still want to be married? First of all,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: he's not married to his best friend. His best friend
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: is another woman. Your man is so weak that he
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: don't have enough sense or gumption to come and talk
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to you about his own marriage. You so crazy, he
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: can't talk to you. She's so crazy she come over
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the house to talk to you. Her sister crazy because
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: she came over here with the house but then her
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: sister realized what it is was heading and at least
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: had to common sense talk out. Now, you so crazy.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You took a video on your man's little man and
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: send it to his three friends. Now they're laughing at
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: your man, and you figure I'm cool. Now I got revenge?
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: How simple minded are y'all? It's bad? So this is
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the real Housewives of Green Metal Oaks, Insana Sila, because
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: everybody and it's not it. It's crazy. Yeah, so, ma'am,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I don't care that you hit it for divorce. I
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: don't even see why y'all marriage. You don't have a marriage.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: He's not married to his best friend. You're not his
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: best friend. You've been willing to do that to embarrass
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: your man. He don't like you, he's scared of you.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You crazy. Why don't y'all just go y'all separate ways? Yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: make no damn sense? Yeah, man, stop writing us. Let's see, Steve.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I think the sister. I like the
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: sister what she did. She may not have even told
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: her why she was going over to this woman's house,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: but once she realized what was happening, then she said no, no, no, no,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: no no no, no, no, no, no, no no, come
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: go with me over his wife's house. But she knew
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: they were friends. They're best friends. The man and the
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: woman is best friend. Right, That's what I'm saying. The
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: sister knew that we're going over here for what because
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: he wanted me to talk to her. No, no, no,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: We've done. Yeah. I mean the sister ain't ain't really
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the cause of the letter, at least's system. I guess
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: after she realized what was happening here. We gotta get
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: up at you. Maybe that's it. I don't like. We
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: gotta go. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up at forty
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: six minutes after the hour from the Talk, our girl
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood. Right after this, you're listening to show coming
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, it's Carla's Reality Update.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: But right now, Steve, it is time to introduce our
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: girl from the Talk. Let's good, That's what I'm talking about,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Now, Steve, I got a question that's really
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: directed toward you, Tommy and Julia, not Carlin Shirley. You know,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: I know, you know, we ladies of the group and everything, Monica, everybody,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: we are ladies. But I got a question directed toward
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the Fellas. But it's really something had to me. Okay,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: So the tire gauge in my car went off right,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: and I always panted anything to happen. I'm like, oh,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I don't know what to do, right, because back in
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the day used to be like a shade tree mechanical dude,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you go to and go, what's that mean? And then
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: he would go, oh, that means slow leak or whatever.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: He's tired. But what it made me think about is
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: how manhood seems to have changed when I grew up,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: because I didn't really realize how young my father was.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: My father was twenty one years old when I was born,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: but when we were little, we thought our uncles and
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: everybody were older men, you know, like my uncle Clip saying,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: ain't just my dad was my dad's best friend. But
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: it seems like manhood has changed. Then they got the
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: study come out that says that college for women is
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: sixty percent women going to college forty percent meant so
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: then that is a discussion of our marriage pool, not
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: saying that you got to marry somebody who went to college.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: But it just seems like the I don't know, outward
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: aesthetic of being a man seems to be evolved in
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: a different direction. You know, you used to had the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: dudes used a street news, but there was an honor
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: to that. You used to had the hard working, regular
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: go to work dude, and there was a stability to that. So, Steve,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I want to ask you. I don't want to ask Tommy.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I want to ask Junior. Do you feel that there's
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: a different representation or nuanced to manhood? Steve, I'm asking
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you absolutely, Okay, absolutely true, And I believe that it
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: is because I believe that it is because we have
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: allowed our society to dictate and allowed for too many
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: other versions of what manhood has always been to exist
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: and to flourish and to accentuate it, and so therefore
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: it has just created too many different angles and so
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: now you don't really know or women don't really have
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: a clear view of what it is anymore. And I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: feel for women because we don't give you a clear
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: view of what manhood isn't anymore and what you can expect. Yes, yeah,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: how do you want to come back for the right
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: you want to do that? Okay, well we do that?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: What not this one? When we come back next time?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: All right, Cheryl, We'll continue this next week. Part two
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: coming up. This is good, thank you, and Carla's reality
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: update coming up at the top of the hour right
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show. All right, Tommy, she's here, introducer.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Let's go. It's time, ladies and gentlemen. She is here
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: the one and only call a farel with reality update
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: coming in hot. All right, here we go, nephew. Check
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: this out. Real Housewives of Atlanta. The show is not
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: even back yet, but a lot of the cast members
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: have been in the news this week. All right, Cynthia
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Bailey is leaving. I told you the rumor that I
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: heard that she was leaving the show, and she is.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Say it ain't. So. She posted yes, Junior the insta
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: announcement on her Instagram page, and she didn't really give
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: the reason for her departure in her announcement. She just said,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: it's time to move on to my next chapter and
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I look forward to sharing it with all of you.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: So there you go. Cynthia Bailey is leaving Real Housewives
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: of Atlanta after eleven seasons. Yes, yes, she's simply beautiful,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: simply gorgeous. All right. Porsia Williams is really in love
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: with her fiance Simon. They were in Vegas with her
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: best friend, you know, Shamia, she's a friend on the
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: show and Portia. She bought her fiance an engagement ring
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: in Vegas at Tiffany's. She put it all on Instagram,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and uh, it was real emotional. He was crying and
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: she was crying and they what what, Junior, go ahead?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Crying over the ring. YEA been nice. She bought him
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: a ring. Now she has an engagement ring. He got
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: her ring earlier. I think it was like in May,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: earlier in the summer. It's a big, big rock, it's huge.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: But she got her fiance a an engagement ring. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: go ahead. Did you hear when she gave the man
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: the platinum American American Express give him whatever? I did
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: see that she showing her platinum card all of what, Steve,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you got your arms folded? What? Yeah? I'm like, I
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: don't gay whatever he wants. Okay, that's the TV line.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Maybe for a spin off show that she's uh, you
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: ain't money? Go ahead? Max has no limit. I know
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: some people that can say that. I do know some people.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I say that, but that that you got to have
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: another getting whatever he want, and then whispered to him,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: don't don't get it, all right, So moving on to
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: right right, But he can't get a car, You're crazy, Steve. Kenya. More,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: she's doing her things. She's on Dancing with the Stars
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: and she is killing it doing the chacha with her
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: partner Brandon, and she looks really good on Dancing with
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: the Stars. I'm I'm voting for I'm rooting for. Go ahead, Kenya. Now,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: there's also a rumor that Acon, y'all know Acon, the
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: music rapper, the producer. He believes in polygamy, and they're
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: saying that one of his wives that's going to be
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: on the new season of Real High Swives up Atlanta.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: It is rumored that he has four wives. Okay, that's
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: what I said. Yeah, yeah, one is enough. Yeah, it's
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: gonna be interesting. Yes, it is going to be interesting

- 1:13:21Speaker 1: She threw a get together outside because her house is
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: being remodeled in her driveway for her launch party. It
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: was a mess. The women were arguing. Candas drive She

- 1:13:50Speaker 1: of the house and drive around the front and pull

- 1:14:29Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Say it isn't so. It is
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: turning into a really bad year for the Cuomos, both
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Andrew and Chris. Now, just a few weeks after Andrew
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Cuomo stepped down as New York governor amid sexual harassment allegations,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: his CNN anchor brother Chris Cuomo, is now feeling some heat.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: His former producer on Cuomo Primetime, who left abruptly back
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: in March of last year, reportedly asked to be taken
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: off the show because um she felt Cuomo's behavior was threatening,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: and she was reassigned. This new revelation comes a week
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: after his former executive producer at ABC News alleged in
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: an our bed piece that she was touched inappropriately by
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Cuomo at a party back in two thousand and five. Supposedly,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Cuomo grabbed her but at a Christmas party she was
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: standing there with her husband and said, I can do
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: this to you now that you're no longer my boss. Wow.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's get out what you got. I
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: just want to know what a husband was doing when
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: she got just standing there. Maybe he didn't see it.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: He didn't, No, he saw that. I don't think that
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: damn party. Party. Heard about this party right here? Party? No, No,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: just a just a gang violence site. Manages. Shall get

- 1:16:22Speaker 1: for ask the CLO. We know who that is, the
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one CLO is from
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Elaine in Philly. Elaine writes, I am a mature woman
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: and my husband and I are separated, so I started
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: dating again. I'm having a great time going on dates,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: and my husband has a problem with me because we
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: live in a close knit suburb. But get this, We've
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: been separated for six years and he won't entertain any
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: conversation about divorce. He says he's trying to help me
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: save my reputation. But I believe it's his ego that
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: doesn't want me dating anyone one else. I want to
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: file for divorce so I can be free of him.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Why is he hanging on to me? Why you're letting
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: him hang on. You don't need an agreement to get
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: a divorce, You just need a divorce. Six years separated,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: living in a close knit community, you're dating, and he
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: talking about he trying to save your reputation. Boy, you
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: don't want me, and what is the reason for the separation?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Always remember that, ladies, I'm trying to save your reputation.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Dog is your ego, That's all it is. Why are
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you allowing this to happen? Go on about your business.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You're happy, go file on your own. Yes, Now, a
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: couple of telltale things in this set. I'm mature, I'm dating,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: and we live in a close knit community. This sound
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: like a senior citizen holding. That's what I pulled up
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: out of that. So what Yeah, suburbs and Thieves is
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: a suburbs. Okay, he got he got retirement home out
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: of that suburb. Close knit suburbs. Don't try to throw
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: me off with suburbs of the town. I'm just, you know,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: showing you how I think you know beside demand. All right.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Alicia moving on in Gary, Indiana, says, my forty five
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: year old husband is overweight and he hides food and
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: snacks from me in the house. Since the pandemic, we've
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: both been watching our weight and he stopped working out
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: with me after he sprained his wrist. I've given him
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: given him an ultimatum to either get back in the
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: gym or we're not having sex anymore. He's more content
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: with his cupcakes than with my body. Is this a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: sign of a bigger problem in our marriage or is
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: he just addicted to food? Well, we got a couple
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: of things going on. Yeah, I think he is addicted
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: to food. I'm a little bit confused where you said
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: doing the pandemic y'all was watching y'all's weight. I guess
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: he was on. He is close enough that he was
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: enjoying the movement. So obviously as he was watching his weight,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: he loved the expansion that was going on. The excuse
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: for not working out was I hurt my risk? I
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: don't know what the hell walking got to do with
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: your damn coming up? It is our last break of
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the day on this Thursday, and of course we'll have
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: some closing remarks of forty nine minutes after from the
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: one and only, our fearless leader, our captain of the ship,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, right after this. You're listening, all right? This
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: is our last break of the day on this Thursday,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: last break. Yeah, um, yes and Steve, yes, what do
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: you think of today? Well, I'm ready my closing remarks. Today,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I'd like to talk to people about a question that's
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: oftentimes asked with me. Steve, You always working, You always busy?
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: What are you doing it? Why do you work like that?
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Why are you always how do you do this? How
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: do you do that? And look, I'm not bragging here.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I get the same twenty four hours that everybody else gets.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I'm not awarded any more dayd daylight did nobody else?
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Sunrise for me just like it do for you. It's
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: set for me just like you do for you. I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: don't get no extra I can't control time. The Bible
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: says time and tide waits on no man, it ticks
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: for me just like it ticks for you. What I
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: want to offer everybody, though, is a way to look
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: at this thing though, And it's a simple process. It's
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: just called time management. You actually have a say, soul
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: and what you do with the time that supported you.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Now here's the upside. If God wakes you up in
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: the morning, it is a sign that God is not
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: through with you yet, which means that's still more for
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you to accomplish. Now, us being the human beings that
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: we are in the creature that He created us to
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: be in, the only creature that He gave complete total
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: of choice. So now you get to decide what you
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: do with this opportunity that's been given to you on
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a daily basis. I need your attention here. You get
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: to decide what you do with this blessing called time
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: that is presented to you every day. So stop looking
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: around at what somebody else got, and always tell about
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: how they do this, how they do that when you
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: have your own set of twenty four to concern yourself with,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and just maybe they gotta going on because they spending
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: day twenty four a little bit different. So I invite
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you all to start controlling your time management. I'm inviting
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you all to start looking at how you go about
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: your day. Now, I got the three ws I'm gonna
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: talk to you about. It's the what you spend your
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: time on, the way you spend your time, and who
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you spend your time with a whole That's the whole story, y'all.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: In time management, all you have to do is answer
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: these three questions. What are you spending your time on?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Where are you spending your time, and who are you
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: spending it with. It's the what, where, and who of
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: time management that I've started to concern myself with that
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: began to change my life. See, what are you committed to?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: What activity occupies your mental space, what activity occupies your
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: daily space? What are you committed to? If God has
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: given you this blessing of waking you up every day
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: because He has yet more for you to receive. Ask
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: yourself a simple question, what are you doing to move
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: yourself in a direction to receive what God has done
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: for you, this incredible blessing called this gift of life?
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: What have you done today? Oh? I know people don't
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: like hearing this, but all you got to do is
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: ask yourself what am I gonna do today? Where am
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I going today? And who I'm gonna spend my day with,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: and watch at the end of the day, you can
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: determine whether you're moving forward, sideways, standing steel or going backwards.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Or you can even just determine if you ain't going nowhere.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: But people have to be honest with they self. And
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: this ain't me saying I got it all together and
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: this is me talking to me all the time. I
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: got to constantly monitor my time management, what occupies my
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: mental space and what occupies my daily space. If you
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: hang with people and all they do is gossip, guess
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: what You're gonna be a gossiper. If you hang with
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: people that's always talking about business, you're gonna discuss business.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: If all the friends you hang out with are only
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: into physical fitness, and that's it. You're gonna go to
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: the gym. You got to go to gym. If everybody
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: you hang out with shoot dice and gamble, guess why
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: y'all gonna be someone shooting dice and gambling. That gambling
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: is win some, lose some, but it's mostly loose song
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: not hard it is to become a professional gambler because
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you don't control enough of that situation. So that's what
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you do. That's why you end up, and that's who
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: you're running with. Y'all. You got to change the way
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: you manage your time. You got to start caring about
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: this day. You got to quit letting me all these
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: days slip by where you ain't doing nothing to progress yourself.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: You're not doing anything to make yourself better. You gotta
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: stop that. Come on, man, God is inviting you to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: a life of abundance, and he invites you to this
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: life of abundance by waking you up. Every day. It's
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: a fresh invitation. Every day you got a ticket to
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: the ball. Waking up is like having a ticket to
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the ball. Every day. You get to go to the
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: met gallat every day you're invited. Now this gallot that
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you attend is up to you. You have to determine
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: what you're gonna do today, where you're gonna spend your day,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: and who you're gonna spend your day with. You have
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: to say so with that people has locked up. I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: know people who are locked up who have gotten together
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: and said this is what we're gonna do today, this
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: is where we're gonna spend that time, and this is
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: who we're gonna hang with. I know some people that
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: have come out of prison and gotten better. So what
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: you're gonna do, I'm just asking you how you gonna
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: manage your day in your time? Those are my closing
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: remarks today. I know I've upset some people. Sorry, see
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: you tomorrow. I was just Uncle Steve, just trying to help.
