- 1:58Speaker 1: on your fad, I shall will Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice I've come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only, Steve Harvey, I got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Somebody sent me an email one day that, you know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: kind of a nasty little email, you know, I think
- 2:19Speaker 1: I said it wants to before Steve Harvey trying to
- 2:22Speaker 1: be a preacher. Man, I'm so far from being a preacher. Man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I can't even tell you. But what I am trying
- 2:29Speaker 1: to do is share information. Now. I understand how haters work,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and I understand how the devil works. Believe me, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: do you know? Sometimes even heat, the devil surprises me
- 2:43Speaker 1: at the level and the angles of attack they use,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know which, I go, wow, man, I didn't I
- 2:49Speaker 1: didn't see that one. Oh that was pretty slick. I
- 2:51Speaker 1: gotta get credit on that. He try to get me.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But every time you try to get me, I get saved.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I get saved every time, man, because because God got me,
- 3:04Speaker 1: God got some angels camped around me. That's what my
- 3:08Speaker 1: mom used to always say as a Sunday school teacher.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Never really understood it, but you know when I was
- 3:13Speaker 1: growing up as a kid, but I got it. Now,
- 3:14Speaker 1: he got some angels around me. And angels come into
- 3:18Speaker 1: form sometimes of people, people who pull your coat to this,
- 3:22Speaker 1: or introduce you to that, or reveal some information to
- 3:26Speaker 1: you like this. He got them all around me. So see,
- 3:31Speaker 1: having a relationship with God has been beneficial to me, y'all.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's not just that what he gives to me, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: what he protects me from. And you know, some some
- 3:46Speaker 1: people wonder, well, if you were God, why he letting
- 3:49Speaker 1: people do that to you. Now, that's not how it works. See,
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's two forces in this world, as good and as evil.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And if you succumb to good, that's what you become,
- 3:58Speaker 1: that's what you do. But everybody don't succumb to good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some people succumb to evil. Some people's mission is to hate,
- 4:05Speaker 1: to destroy, to tear down, and so that forces at
- 4:10Speaker 1: work in this world too, And when that force comes
- 4:12Speaker 1: up against me. What God never promised me that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see none of that, that I wouldn't see the attacks,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that I would not come under fire, that I would
- 4:23Speaker 1: not be falsely accused. He didn't say that. A matter
- 4:25Speaker 1: of fact, he fo warned me that it would happen.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Or what he does give me in those moments are
- 4:32Speaker 1: moments of comfort in peace, knowing that He's with me.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And no, no matter what my enemy does to bring
- 4:39Speaker 1: me down, it ain't gonna work. It ain't gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So come if you want to fight, if you will.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have a man that has been attacking me since
- 4:51Speaker 1: I owned the comedy club in Dallas. He has been
- 4:55Speaker 1: on a mission and that if I don't give him
- 5:00Speaker 1: five million dollars, he gonna do it. He didn't done everything, man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: he has done everything. Now he've messed around and got
- 5:08Speaker 1: itself now claiming in his letters physically ill and his
- 5:13Speaker 1: illnesses and what's befalling his family. He's blaming that on
- 5:18Speaker 1: me too. As Steve Harvey not stressed me out and
- 5:21Speaker 1: paid me this money he owed me, we were you
- 5:25Speaker 1: coming with this? He just has kept on it. On
- 5:28Speaker 1: it on and you know what, he a messed around,
- 5:31Speaker 1: got itself sick. He messed around, man, got himself in
- 5:35Speaker 1: some situation. And can I tell you something. It's been
- 5:38Speaker 1: going on since nine teen, maybe ninety seven. He started
- 5:48Speaker 1: the attack when I first went on, No before that,
- 5:53Speaker 1: probably ninety five. He started the attacks in ninety five,
- 5:58Speaker 1: every nine in he didn't got six lawyers. All the
- 6:02Speaker 1: lawyers didn't drop the case. After they come in and
- 6:05Speaker 1: they discover the fact. But he steady trying. But it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: too angels that's around. And I forewarned him several times. Man,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and man, if I was you, I go head on
- 6:15Speaker 1: because what I'm not gonna do is been because see,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you cannot break me because I happened to be a
- 6:22Speaker 1: soldier for Christ. I happened to be an imperfect soldier
- 6:27Speaker 1: or Christ as nothing, Man as nothing. And oh it
- 6:32Speaker 1: ain't like a bunch of people and tried. Now, Oh
- 6:34Speaker 1: y'all all been on YouTube, y'all been on the internet.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Oh they didn't try. Oh they didn't put some dirt
- 6:40Speaker 1: on me. Man, that ain't true. But if you keep
- 6:43Speaker 1: looking at me though, and I'm not the prize, but
- 6:46Speaker 1: if you put your eyes on God, it's where you go.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But if you look at me, He's covered me through
- 6:51Speaker 1: it all. And that's been the importance of the relationship
- 6:54Speaker 1: I formed with God, is that I know that I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: under his wings, that I'm ever under his ever loving protection,
- 7:03Speaker 1: that he got me. And I just want to share
- 7:06Speaker 1: that with you that if you got If you're looking
- 7:09Speaker 1: for some protection, if you're looking for a way to
- 7:13Speaker 1: have the strength to get through what you're going through,
- 7:16Speaker 1: get some God man. If if you want to weigh out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: get some God man. If you've been gangbanging and you're
- 7:24Speaker 1: sick of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're
- 7:27Speaker 1: tired of being on drugs and you're tied to drinking,
- 7:30Speaker 1: get you some god man. If you're tired of being
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired,
- 7:36Speaker 1: get you some God man. I'm just telling you now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you're trying to make your dreams come true and
- 7:41Speaker 1: it looks like you ain't gonna make it, and you
- 7:44Speaker 1: still believe that that's for you, get you some God man.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 7:50Speaker 1: you're trying to get that and you're gonna start out today.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Get you some God, man. I'm just telling you. I'm
- 7:56Speaker 1: just telling you. See it's real what I'm saying. Man,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I ain't on dude with it. You understand. I'm just
- 8:01Speaker 1: telling you real. Get you some God, man, and be patient,
- 8:06Speaker 1: have faith, believe, don't doubt, but Lord have mercy. Get
- 8:11Speaker 1: ready to work your tail off. Did you hear me?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Get you some faith, Believe, don't doubt, and get ready
- 8:21Speaker 1: to work your tail off. God can't blessing you. See
- 8:26Speaker 1: a lot of times we go to God asking for
- 8:28Speaker 1: prayers and stuff, but we go to him and we
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't give nothing. God nothing to bless. We won't blessings,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but we don't give him nothing to bless. You make
- 8:36Speaker 1: one step, he'll make two. You start, he'll finish you come,
- 8:45Speaker 1: He'll go you dream it, He'll build you started, He'll finish.
- 8:56Speaker 1: See you see you trying to everything your way. I'm
- 8:59Speaker 1: gonna go to court a conversation with a man yesterday
- 9:02Speaker 1: just sitting and just call me man, and was just
- 9:04Speaker 1: talking about but Steve. You know, man, I've just dude
- 9:10Speaker 1: been on me twenty three hundred dollars for four years.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I just asked him, have you survived the folk without
- 9:17Speaker 1: the twenty three hundred. Yeah, man, how much you think
- 9:21Speaker 1: you have spent trying to get to twenty three hundred?
- 9:24Speaker 1: Just a few hundred. Now, let me ask you something.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Do you have a few hundred mold to try to
- 9:28Speaker 1: get this twenty three hundred that you've been trying to
- 9:30Speaker 1: get for four years? Yeah? I could do that, But
- 9:34Speaker 1: do you want to? Man? Do you have the time
- 9:37Speaker 1: to dedicate faux more or your years to try to
- 9:40Speaker 1: get twenty three hundred? But Steve am out of work
- 9:43Speaker 1: right now. I'm fell on some hard times. I could
- 9:45Speaker 1: use that money, and I've been praying to God to
- 9:47Speaker 1: help me. Yeah, you've been praying to God to help you.
- 9:50Speaker 1: God probably got something way greater for you. But you
- 9:52Speaker 1: gotta let go of your own thinking and let God
- 9:54Speaker 1: have his way. You understand, you feel me. You're listening show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. It us upon us to Steve Harvey
- 10:05Speaker 1: Morning Show is now here. It is today, a new day,
- 10:11Speaker 1: another opportunity, a blessing. God is good. Man. I love God.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I do man, I I love it. Man. Now I
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't love as much as he loved me, because I'd
- 10:22Speaker 1: have been through with me a long time ago. I
- 10:25Speaker 1: really would have. That's how I know he loved me,
- 10:29Speaker 1: because i'd have been through with me a long time ago.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You did what, man, I don't come in here with
- 10:37Speaker 1: that no more, Steve what so man? I appreciate it. Man,
- 10:42Speaker 1: everybody good day to day. Sherley Strawberry, calif for real,
- 10:46Speaker 1: Mouth of South Junior and that legend that is nephew
- 10:49Speaker 1: Tommy Hey Junior. What's on your mind today? Yeah? Man,
- 10:54Speaker 1: six or six years you got to have an answer
- 10:56Speaker 1: to this, because you know you on your journey. Man.
- 10:59Speaker 1: A lot of people we're gonna have to stay true
- 11:00Speaker 1: to theirself on their journey. I've seen you do this
- 11:03Speaker 1: over the years, just working with you, just being who
- 11:05Speaker 1: you are each and every day, because some people feel
- 11:07Speaker 1: like they gotta go do it everybody else doing. If
- 11:09Speaker 1: they're doing that, I gotta do this to get to
- 11:10Speaker 1: where I'm going, or if I don't do this, I
- 11:12Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it there. But I've seen you be
- 11:14Speaker 1: the same consistent Steve Harvey this whole entire time. Where'd
- 11:19Speaker 1: you learn that from? Well? Through experience mostly, But then
- 11:22Speaker 1: you know, my mama told me when she was Sunday school,
- 11:25Speaker 1: she said, your route is a different route. She said,
- 11:28Speaker 1: get off their mother paths. God didn't put you on album.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And so, in a strange way, I started learning exactly
- 11:36Speaker 1: what she meant as I got older. And that's the
- 11:38Speaker 1: problem that people don't know. People think that if they
- 11:42Speaker 1: emulate somebody else that they ship, that that will result
- 11:47Speaker 1: in them having the same life journey path that they did.
- 11:51Speaker 1: When no two people have that. Huh. All you gotta
- 11:54Speaker 1: do is look at your fingerprint. Everybody has differ fingerprint.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Everybody got different path. I'll know two roads travel the
- 12:01Speaker 1: exact same that I know, set the circumstances that occur
- 12:04Speaker 1: in the exact same order for everybody. That happens at
- 12:07Speaker 1: a different period of time. You may have some similar
- 12:09Speaker 1: things happen in your life, but I promise you they
- 12:11Speaker 1: ain't in the exact same order. So once you understand that,
- 12:16Speaker 1: be okay with your path, your journey, your mission, your route,
- 12:21Speaker 1: and go ahead and do it. I'm gonna tell you,
- 12:23Speaker 1: if you try to do somebody else's route, you are
- 12:26Speaker 1: setting yourself back because that ain't yours. I can promise you. Example,
- 12:32Speaker 1: let's just look at the music industry today. Have you
- 12:37Speaker 1: ever in the history of our existence as people. Have
- 12:41Speaker 1: you ever seen these many people attempt to get into
- 12:45Speaker 1: the music business. I ain't ever met more producers, rappers, artists,
- 12:56Speaker 1: man on family feud. When I'm interviewing young people, man,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I go down to Ross ain't man, So what what's
- 13:02Speaker 1: your goal here? Yeah, I'm gonna be an artist? What
- 13:04Speaker 1: type of artists? Yeah, I'm I got a wrap career.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I said to myself. So much for the word career.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Nah no, yes, you know, but it's people see the
- 13:17Speaker 1: success of other people and they think that's for them.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's not true, man, It's just not true. There's a
- 13:22Speaker 1: lot of young people waste today time trying to be
- 13:25Speaker 1: something something they saw. That's why so many women trying
- 13:27Speaker 1: to look like Kim Kardashian. Oh look how many podcasts?
- 13:32Speaker 1: All right? Coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we'll hear from the Nephew. He is back to run
- 13:42Speaker 1: that prank back. Right after this you're listening to show
- 13:48Speaker 1: it is time now to start your morning off with
- 13:50Speaker 1: the Nephew and run that prank back. Welcome back, neph
- 13:52Speaker 1: What you got for us today? Well, if you're gonna
- 13:54Speaker 1: come back, you're gonna have to come back. Stupid now
- 13:56Speaker 1: that's what you got to do. And it's right here.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Give me my arm back, Give me my arm back.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Deep stupid. We don't do shallow stupid. We do deeps,
- 14:08Speaker 1: never had and never will. Let's go cat up. Hello. Hello,
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Philip. Yeah, this this is Philip. Hey,
- 14:20Speaker 1: how are you doing? Who is this? Are you? Philip? Up?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Is that who you are? Yes? This is Philip? Okay?
- 14:28Speaker 1: Is there is there? Is your son? Dude? Dude, you
- 14:31Speaker 1: know what dar is? Okay, calm down, yes, okay, what
- 14:34Speaker 1: is my son? Calm down? First of all? Is your son?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Is he there in the house right now? Okay, okay,
- 14:41Speaker 1: that's not the issue. What the issue is? What what
- 14:43Speaker 1: do you what do you need? Sir? My name is Burns, okay,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and I live two streets over from y'all. Do your
- 14:50Speaker 1: son play with a bay named Tim a Timmis? Yes,
- 14:53Speaker 1: they they grew up together. They play ball together. That
- 14:56Speaker 1: that's where they are now. They playing ball right now?
- 14:58Speaker 1: What they playing balling? Right now? Sitting down there at
- 15:01Speaker 1: the part? Play ball? Don't they always the part? That's
- 15:04Speaker 1: what I need to know. I need to know where
- 15:06Speaker 1: they are. Let me tell you something of hold on saying,
- 15:09Speaker 1: hold on, saying what you need to know where they
- 15:10Speaker 1: are for and what and what you're gonna do? What
- 15:13Speaker 1: is the problem that boys there is? And pim come
- 15:16Speaker 1: they say they were walking up my street today and
- 15:19Speaker 1: came over here. I have a prosthetic arm. My right
- 15:22Speaker 1: arm is prosthetic, and they know what. Hold hold on saying,
- 15:26Speaker 1: hold you say you got a prosthetic arm, Yes, I do.
- 15:29Speaker 1: My right arm is a prosthetic arm. And the boys
- 15:32Speaker 1: came over they got to do with my son, your
- 15:35Speaker 1: boy and that boy Pim came over here and pulled
- 15:38Speaker 1: my arm off of me and ran down the street
- 15:40Speaker 1: with it. Who hold on saying hold on, I'm saying, hold,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm saying, you try to tell me that that that
- 15:46Speaker 1: you lost your arm to my son and his friend
- 15:49Speaker 1: and they ran off with your arm. They played basketball?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Is that what you're telling me? So I'm telling you
- 15:54Speaker 1: that I don't know what. I didn't know nothing about
- 15:56Speaker 1: no basketball. They didn't came and took my prosthetic arm
- 16:00Speaker 1: all for me. I'm gonna saying, hold, I'm saying, we
- 16:03Speaker 1: tell you something that doesn't sound like what something my
- 16:05Speaker 1: son would do. Okay, exactly what they do where they're
- 16:08Speaker 1: going at all times, and that's not something that they
- 16:11Speaker 1: would do. I'm sick a player talking about what they
- 16:14Speaker 1: kid we will do it, won't do. You don't know
- 16:16Speaker 1: what they do when they with y'all. I'm glad you
- 16:18Speaker 1: told me they say you at the park, because I'm
- 16:20Speaker 1: gonna go right over here to this as far as
- 16:22Speaker 1: now and when I found him, I'm a woman, can't
- 16:24Speaker 1: get money all back. Okay, hold on, hold on, hold
- 16:27Speaker 1: on saying hold on, just hold everything. Okay, hold on
- 16:30Speaker 1: sagging now because you don't say that you're gonna go
- 16:33Speaker 1: do something that I know you don't really mean. All right,
- 16:36Speaker 1: say what I mean exactly what I'm saying. They got
- 16:39Speaker 1: my all? How you thinking feels that somebody trying to
- 16:42Speaker 1: take your arm? Sir? Okay, look, let's try to keep disrespectful,
- 16:45Speaker 1: all right. All right, you say they got your arm? Right?
- 16:48Speaker 1: How about this? You're going to go get my boys? Okay,
- 16:53Speaker 1: First of all, I will meet you at the park.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I will meet you at the park, and we're gonna
- 16:57Speaker 1: talk to talk about the situation like like, gentlemen, Okay,
- 17:01Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no need for you to go down
- 17:03Speaker 1: there and start metchal with youngsters. Okay, all right, that's
- 17:05Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. You're still good. They've got my all. Third,
- 17:11Speaker 1: with all due respect, Okay, you're talking about my son,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and I know what he is capable of doing and
- 17:17Speaker 1: what he's not gonna do, and he don't disrespect the
- 17:20Speaker 1: older people like that, especially with somebody with it with
- 17:22Speaker 1: an impairment or disablement or whatever you got. I'm sorry
- 17:25Speaker 1: about your arm. I'm on the hill. I'm I'm trying.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm man if you, of course, do you not think
- 17:31Speaker 1: taking somebody all is disrespectful. That's disrespectful to take off
- 17:36Speaker 1: the old man all and run down the street with sir, disrespectful?
- 17:40Speaker 1: But what is what it is? Not? What it is
- 17:41Speaker 1: not disrespectful. Also as you telling me you're gonna go
- 17:44Speaker 1: up there and what my son, and that's not gonna happen. Okay,
- 17:49Speaker 1: that's what I'm gonna do. I'm hung up as soon
- 17:52Speaker 1: as I get on his head off. Okay, all second, sir,
- 17:55Speaker 1: he's gonna do what to my son. I'm a son
- 17:58Speaker 1: up as soon as I get to this part. And
- 18:00Speaker 1: the ain't pittman, that's with it because they tell my
- 18:03Speaker 1: arm and they know they did I'm gonna okay, let
- 18:05Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You don't call me up,
- 18:07Speaker 1: disrespecting me and threatening my son. Do you know what
- 18:10Speaker 1: you're talking to? I'll tell you what you do, tell
- 18:12Speaker 1: you what you to commit to that part and just
- 18:15Speaker 1: read on my son wrong? Okay, say his name wrong? Okay,
- 18:18Speaker 1: say it, and then I'll tell you what I'm gonna do.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna take your other arm and I'm gonna beat
- 18:22Speaker 1: you here. Let me tell you something. Let me tell
- 18:25Speaker 1: you something I don't think. Don't think? Okay, who what's
- 18:28Speaker 1: going on? Because I'm there, I whip you? Ain't your
- 18:31Speaker 1: song because going on? I'll promise you that. Okay, Come on, family,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm you ain't gonna know what to do with your
- 18:37Speaker 1: life because you can't find your arm. You ain't got
- 18:39Speaker 1: no sense, and you over here with the wrong people's family,
- 18:42Speaker 1: all right. You don't know, You don't know what happen.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You don't know I lost my un know what I happened?
- 18:51Speaker 1: You quiet? No, No, you know I know what happened.
- 18:55Speaker 1: H Why is you quiet? We asked you something, mister sycident.
- 19:01Speaker 1: What the problem? You don't know what? You don't know
- 19:04Speaker 1: how I lost the arm? You don't know how I
- 19:07Speaker 1: lost it. I don't know how you've lost your arm.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I really I don't give my just I don't know

- 33:01Speaker 1: stuff to wear and she didn't make it and she
- 33:04Speaker 1: was in the car crying. I just I think she's smart. Yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: that's it. Yeah. The other girl I know from La
- 33:13Speaker 1: the other I wish your new names name is Dorothy Dorothy. Yeah. Yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 1: but I've been you know, stuff like that. Then I've
- 33:26Speaker 1: watched The King or Joe Berg. That's not for me.

- 33:35Speaker 1: I don't like, don't you know? I like stuff? And
- 33:37Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, once you put some voodoo
- 33:40Speaker 1: in it, I'm cut out there, blew and all this
- 33:44Speaker 1: here once Once you do that, anybody watching you you
- 33:50Speaker 1: don't like what I was trying to start it off
- 33:53Speaker 1: with one he liked. But now see I started watching
- 33:56Speaker 1: the show. But if I don't like it, I cut
- 33:57Speaker 1: it off because I ain't got no time for this.
- 34:01Speaker 1: You will like Tosa King. I watch that time. That
- 34:07Speaker 1: is good. My paramount plus now him to tell you
- 34:15Speaker 1: what I can't do when I'm out the country. If
- 34:18Speaker 1: I try to watch m here's the problem. If you
- 34:24Speaker 1: watch Amazon Prime out the country, here's problem. And then
- 34:28Speaker 1: it says how to watch this movie, and then you
- 34:32Speaker 1: click the button how to watch, and then it say
- 34:36Speaker 1: rent or by, and then you hit back because I
- 34:38Speaker 1: don't know how to rent. No movie, don't fit the
- 34:40Speaker 1: rent nothing, so I pressed by. But then it says
- 34:44Speaker 1: you have to buy this on your mobile device or computer.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Then hal ish on the TV phone because you need
- 34:55Speaker 1: the code. It's a cold on the mo pile. So
- 35:02Speaker 1: what do I need on my phone? I don't want
- 35:06Speaker 1: website and it matches up with the smart TV. They'll
- 35:09Speaker 1: give you the clue. Do you have the app on
- 35:13Speaker 1: your phone? First of all? Yeah, yeah, the Amazon Prime app,
- 35:18Speaker 1: Prime Apprime Video. Do you had it on your phone?
- 35:21Speaker 1: You need to download everything before you leave the state. Yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 1: before you get out of the country, and you'll be
- 35:27Speaker 1: you don't what you mean? I don't know? Yeahtorial, right now,
- 35:34Speaker 1: you know like you're surprised, like you activated with me.
- 35:37Speaker 1: You don't have coming up in twa minute. We know
- 35:47Speaker 1: who wants there coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:50Speaker 1: we'll talk about Jalen Hurts right after this, you're listening
- 35:54Speaker 1: to morning show. We all know this will be the
- 35:58Speaker 1: first Super Bowl with two black quarterbacks. Okay, Jalen Hurts
- 36:02Speaker 1: and passed the home yep yep. During the postgame interview,
- 36:06Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts was asked about his first year playing for
- 36:09Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles and he said, they didn't want me here.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Take a listen my first year here. I mean, it
- 36:16Speaker 1: probably didn't even want to draft me year. You know,
- 36:18Speaker 1: it's probably one of those things, but it always handled
- 36:22Speaker 1: this up. John, you said a little bit ago, they
- 36:25Speaker 1: probably never wanted to draft me here? Did you mean
- 36:27Speaker 1: the front office of the fans? I mean, I know,
- 36:30Speaker 1: you know, there was a bit surprised to many. Be
- 36:33Speaker 1: surprised to many for my favorite verse. You know, I
- 36:36Speaker 1: went through a lot of stuff from college and it
- 36:38Speaker 1: kind of stuck with me. John thirteen to seven. You
- 36:40Speaker 1: may not know, Nobil lady. Later you understand, hopefully people understand.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You understand why Keller crue que verse girl. Oh y'all
- 36:58Speaker 1: trying to take credit for this? Definitely both on Texas boys.
- 37:02Speaker 1: They both Texas Oh okay, well, which only proves one thing.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I don't want to hit I don't want to hear today.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Now you want to be to get your ass out
- 37:14Speaker 1: of Texas. That's a damn then you can win. It's terrible.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Little at hello, I remember having this week. Yeah, she's weird.
- 37:40Speaker 1: She let's see speak to the historical aspect of this.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Two black quarterbacks in the super Bowl. That's major. Yes,
- 37:55Speaker 1: it's major. You know, it's it's not as major as
- 38:00Speaker 1: it used to be because of the culture now, because
- 38:05Speaker 1: what they do so quickly is they wash over facts
- 38:08Speaker 1: like this and they normalize very very quickly, very very quickly.
- 38:14Speaker 1: It's a phenomenal thing. But you got two black quarterbacks,
- 38:18Speaker 1: you got Rihanna during the halftime show, Baby Face is
- 38:22Speaker 1: gonna be there, Shirley Ralph is doing pregame stuff. This
- 38:26Speaker 1: is a pretty pretty big night African Americans performing playing ball.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Look if you if you do it the right way
- 38:35Speaker 1: when you talk athletics and entertainment, who you're talking about? Okay, Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: I mean we are such a major contributor in every
- 38:46Speaker 1: single sport we play. I mean, you know, and then
- 38:51Speaker 1: look and then and then when we do make a
- 38:55Speaker 1: big deal of it, then here comes to opposition. Yeah,
- 38:59Speaker 1: you know, so it's it's a it's a it's a
- 39:02Speaker 1: it's a blessing. It's a wind wind for us, you know.
- 39:06Speaker 1: But we need more, we need we always, yes, sir,
- 39:12Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:15Speaker 1: we're gonna check your voicemail, Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show well, Steve, it
- 39:25Speaker 1: is time now to check your voicemail. If you want
- 39:28Speaker 1: to leave Steve a voicemail, call him eight seven seven
- 39:30Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steve. This first one, Steve. A caller left
- 39:33Speaker 1: a message about police brutality. She doesn't think it's about
- 39:37Speaker 1: the blue uniform. Take a listen, Hey, Steve, I heard
- 39:40Speaker 1: your comment about the blue uniform, and I don't I
- 39:44Speaker 1: don't really think it has all to blame on the
- 39:47Speaker 1: blue uniform. I think black kill black all the time,
- 39:51Speaker 1: pretty often in the street. Black kille black in the
- 39:54Speaker 1: same Hispanic kill Hispanic. It's not a black thing. I
- 39:59Speaker 1: think it's it's not on the blue uniform. Yeah, great,
- 40:05Speaker 1: you're wrong, Thank you for calling. You're absolutely wrong. There
- 40:09Speaker 1: is a culture in the blue uniform amongst some of
- 40:13Speaker 1: the officers that allow for their previously held bigotry, hatred
- 40:18Speaker 1: of black people to resonnate and and be allowed to
- 40:23Speaker 1: come out in the form of that uniform. It has
- 40:25Speaker 1: a lot to do with the blue uniform. While we
- 40:28Speaker 1: are why all the stories about the blue uniform. See,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I got blacks killed blacks, I got Latinos killer, I
- 40:33Speaker 1: got white people killed white people. But we're talking about
- 40:36Speaker 1: what the police do white people don't. Police don't kill
- 40:40Speaker 1: unarmed white people. What a part? What part about this
- 40:43Speaker 1: you missed? See, y'all always see that's why I see
- 40:46Speaker 1: someone as you say something that's like on the pro
- 40:50Speaker 1: side of blacks, here comes somebody with the damn argument
- 40:54Speaker 1: that don't know what the hell they're talking about. So now, lady,
- 40:59Speaker 1: you don't understand, and you ain't trying to understand. See,
- 41:03Speaker 1: don't try to fix the problem we have by pointing
- 41:07Speaker 1: out the other problem, because now you take the problem
- 41:09Speaker 1: off the problem we had with police brutality. We have
- 41:12Speaker 1: had this fuck decades, y'all just now seeing it. But
- 41:18Speaker 1: I grew up in the sixties. I saw it before
- 41:21Speaker 1: we had a camera to tell y'all it was happening
- 41:23Speaker 1: to us, and nobody believed it. Now you got it,
- 41:26Speaker 1: and we show it to you. Now you're trying to
- 41:27Speaker 1: find every other reason why it's happening. It's because your
- 41:30Speaker 1: ass got the uniform and a badge and you got
- 41:32Speaker 1: the power to act out your racism. That's what it is,
- 41:35Speaker 1: not damn because you say it ain't okay, what is
- 41:38Speaker 1: it then? But I ain't hear you say that. That's
- 41:41Speaker 1: what pissed me off. I just said, man a minute ago,
- 41:44Speaker 1: that's why I hate to say something onna be half
- 41:47Speaker 1: the black people, because here they come and it don't
- 41:51Speaker 1: always be white people. The hell you call that damn statement?
- 41:56Speaker 1: For that statement you called in, don't allow us to
- 41:59Speaker 1: fix nothing thing because we can't address the problem because
- 42:03Speaker 1: you want to point out the other damn problem. I
- 42:05Speaker 1: realize we have other problems. But you took the oath
- 42:11Speaker 1: to serve and protect as a police officer. Yes, that's right,
- 42:15Speaker 1: and you are to uphold the law, not to break it. Right, right,
- 42:21Speaker 1: that's it, right, I'm sorry, All right, it's okay. Now.
- 42:27Speaker 1: This caller, Steve, left a message about the six Memphis
- 42:30Speaker 1: police officer involved in the beating depth of Tyree nichols Um.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Take a listen. Good morning, Steve. My name is Barbara
- 42:39Speaker 1: I'm a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. I was listening to
- 42:42Speaker 1: your show this morning and you were commending Chief David's
- 42:46Speaker 1: for her quick reaction to arrest the officers. Keep in mind,
- 42:51Speaker 1: there's a video of the Aitsie arrest. There's a white
- 42:55Speaker 1: officer that also participated in that. He was the first
- 42:59Speaker 1: one to take Tyree Nichols. So I just want to
- 43:02Speaker 1: share that information for you. So justice hasn't been completely
- 43:06Speaker 1: served because all officers have not been arrested. Thank you
- 43:10Speaker 1: have a blessed that all right now? I received that,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I received he ye yeah, But now charge of this though?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Um back to the first caller, it's just the other
- 43:29Speaker 1: person that they're talking about bringing charges on. Does he
- 43:33Speaker 1: not have a uniform on too? See? I just want
- 43:36Speaker 1: to keep the focus on what is on. We are
- 43:38Speaker 1: talking about fice, yes, yes, yes, see, we are talking
- 43:43Speaker 1: about human brutality. We're talking about police brutality. Because if
- 43:47Speaker 1: you want to go about blacks on black, well, listen,
- 43:49Speaker 1: then we got to go all the way back to
- 43:50Speaker 1: all these mass shootings. Who the hell going to school
- 43:53Speaker 1: and shoot a bount your kids? Who the hell we're
- 43:55Speaker 1: going there shoot a bunch of people watching movies, but
- 43:58Speaker 1: you signed up and we hey, you tax paying dollars
- 44:02Speaker 1: to serve and protect black or white or whatever. Okay, sir, yes, sir,
- 44:09Speaker 1: all right, thank you callers. Coming up next, it is
- 44:12Speaker 1: a prank phone call for today. As we switch gears
- 44:15Speaker 1: with the nephew. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 44:18Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:23Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:26Speaker 1: letter for today, and the subject is what's so darn funny?
- 44:33Speaker 1: We'll find out. We'll get into it in just a
- 44:35Speaker 1: bit because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 44:39Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got for us? Neft for today?
- 44:43Speaker 1: This goes out to these churches, these pastors that you know,
- 44:47Speaker 1: We get dressed, we get to church, and then y'all
- 44:49Speaker 1: ain't preaching on the Sunday that we get there, and
- 44:51Speaker 1: it's really aggravating sometimes, it really is. It really is
- 44:55Speaker 1: y'all need to send a text out a memo or
- 44:57Speaker 1: something when y'all ain't preaching that day. Let us give
- 44:59Speaker 1: us I noticed on that that's not cool to get
- 45:02Speaker 1: completely dressed. And then you got somebody in there, you
- 45:04Speaker 1: you know, can't preach everybody, Howard. Everybody don't want to
- 45:10Speaker 1: Terrible J. Howard message? What is he talking? We want
- 45:17Speaker 1: to have them guess appears from Reverend Howard at this point,
- 45:24Speaker 1: Reverend Howard would be good to deliver the word. And
- 45:28Speaker 1: where's the word coming from? What? What? What? What? Where
- 45:31Speaker 1: about that? I've seen it? You ain't laying man. So
- 45:41Speaker 1: the title list is I want my money back? I
- 45:44Speaker 1: want I want my money back? I do, I do? Yeah, yeah,
- 45:51Speaker 1: you guys love all anything? I want all? I want
- 45:55Speaker 1: it back. It did not go the way I want.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I want my money back. I think what I want?
- 46:01Speaker 1: A church refund? What's wrong with that? Of your time? Okay? Time?
- 46:07Speaker 1: Yea love all from whatever it is. Let's go catch dog. Hello.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I need to speak to Suster Felicia. So I okay,
- 46:15Speaker 1: who is this? This right? Here? Is Glenn? All right?
- 46:18Speaker 1: This is Glenn. I need this is brother Glenn. Can
- 46:20Speaker 1: I speak to Suster Felicia? But I have compleat Okay, sir,
- 46:24Speaker 1: how did you get my number? I got to a
- 46:26Speaker 1: number for one of the deacons at the church. Okay,
- 46:28Speaker 1: what deacon was that? I don't even know the deacon name.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I'm out listen when I'm trying to ask you. I'm
- 46:32Speaker 1: trying to ask you, can you are reimburse me for
- 46:35Speaker 1: some money that I put in church on Sunday? Okay, Well,
- 46:38Speaker 1: can you just calm down just a little place, sir?
- 46:40Speaker 1: I'm look. Are you the financial person at the church? Yes?
- 46:43Speaker 1: I am? So what can I do for you? I'm
- 46:45Speaker 1: trying to get my money back that I put in
- 46:48Speaker 1: church on Sunday. I put one hundred dollars in church
- 46:50Speaker 1: on Sunday, and I'm trying to get my one hundred
- 46:52Speaker 1: dollars back. Okay, what did you not get from your heart?
- 46:55Speaker 1: I gave from my heart what I thought was gonna happen,
- 46:58Speaker 1: but it didn't happen. Okay, Um, help help me, help
- 47:02Speaker 1: you what you mean? Did what didn't happen? What didn't happen? Sir? Okay?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Pastor wasn't there. Pastor was not there on Sunday, and
- 47:08Speaker 1: y'all had this guest minister come in who I didn't
- 47:13Speaker 1: like him at all, but the dog the offering was
- 47:17Speaker 1: before he even got up to preach, so I didn't
- 47:20Speaker 1: already game my offering, which was one hundred dollars, and
- 47:23Speaker 1: then I didn't even know pastor wasn't. Now you know
- 47:26Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So here I am giving a hundred dollars.
- 47:29Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I know I'm gonna get the word when
- 47:31Speaker 1: pastor there. But y'all put this dude up. He coming
- 47:34Speaker 1: from Don't nobody come from the book of Ruts, no
- 47:36Speaker 1: more from He was at Ruth Leviticus. He was all
- 47:39Speaker 1: over the place. I want to get my hundred dollars back.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I ain't given to that. Do you not read the bulletin?
- 47:45Speaker 1: I mean, housting, do you even come to church? I
- 47:48Speaker 1: come to church often. I mean, what does got to
- 47:50Speaker 1: do with any time when if you were coming up
- 47:52Speaker 1: often to read the bulletins or you would have known
- 47:54Speaker 1: that pastor took a vacation. He took a vacation, so
- 47:59Speaker 1: so everybody knew he wasn't gonna be there, yes, or
- 48:01Speaker 1: the regulars, the people that come regulate the church, they
- 48:03Speaker 1: know that, sir. Okay, well I didn't know that. So
- 48:06Speaker 1: I need I need to get I need to get
- 48:08Speaker 1: my money back. Okay, but I need you to do though.
- 48:10Speaker 1: It's calm down, I'm coming. I'm just trying to say,
- 48:13Speaker 1: I want to get my one hundred dollars I'm not
- 48:15Speaker 1: giving that sermon I got on Sunday. I'm not giving
- 48:18Speaker 1: one hundred dollars for that. Well, Sir, I cannot give
- 48:20Speaker 1: you one hundred dollars back. Okay. We don't do no
- 48:22Speaker 1: refund checks. I can't do that. Okay. I have to
- 48:25Speaker 1: wait your paths to get back in because two people
- 48:27Speaker 1: have to sign the checks. I can't even do that
- 48:28Speaker 1: for you, star. Matter of fact, I'm not even at
- 48:30Speaker 1: work right now. Okay. So I am not gonna get
- 48:32Speaker 1: my one hundred dollars back. Okay, sir, Why don't you
- 48:35Speaker 1: just call the church on tomorrow and then we can
- 48:37Speaker 1: go from there. Okay, I'm not calling. I'm not calling
- 48:40Speaker 1: the church tomorrow. I tell you what, you know what,
- 48:42Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna come up
- 48:44Speaker 1: there tomorrow and you're gonna give me my one hundred dollars.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Either it's in a check or it's in care. But
- 48:49Speaker 1: you subs our sister Felicia Patterson, you're gonna give me
- 48:52Speaker 1: my damn money. Get you say? What did you just
- 48:57Speaker 1: cuss me? I just told you that come tomorrow, I'm
- 49:00Speaker 1: coming up there to get my damn hundred dollars. Whether
- 49:03Speaker 1: it's in a check or whether it's in cash, I
- 49:05Speaker 1: don't care what it see. Let me tell you something, sir,
- 49:08Speaker 1: you ain't getting nothing from us. I beat you call.
- 49:11Speaker 1: He ain't cuss me asking for some money back. You don't, man,
- 49:14Speaker 1: You're giving your money from your heart and done, not
- 49:16Speaker 1: a hard death, preaching the way to God. You give
- 49:18Speaker 1: because you love God. But you ever thought to me
- 49:21Speaker 1: like that. I'll strip you naked, Jim, and you know
- 49:23Speaker 1: what you better be glad this ain't twenty years ago,
- 49:26Speaker 1: because I'll accust you from a cuzy. But God, he's saying,
- 49:31Speaker 1: because you know I ain't no cussion. But I tell
- 49:33Speaker 1: you what I will do, young man. Well, I see
- 49:36Speaker 1: you what you say? Your name is again Glen, brother Glenn.
- 49:40Speaker 1: When I see you, I'm gonna give you the the fellowship.

- 50:00Speaker 1: hear me back? Now? You watch something people you ask,
- 50:04Speaker 1: that's what the words that you have not because you ask?

- 54:15Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Thank you. Nephew's subject, what's so darned funny? Okay, Dear
- 54:22Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I've been married for eighteen years and I'm
- 54:25Speaker 1: dating a younger lady on the side. I know what
- 54:28Speaker 1: you're thinking, but my wife stopped having sex with me
- 54:31Speaker 1: two years ago, and she got smart during an argument
- 54:34Speaker 1: and told me I could do whatever I needed to
- 54:36Speaker 1: do on the side because she didn't want me anymore.
- 54:40Speaker 1: It hurt like heck, but I moved on and met
- 54:43Speaker 1: someone new. My side chick is married, but she and
- 54:47Speaker 1: her husband have been living apart for four years. I'm
- 54:51Speaker 1: fifty five and my girlfriend is thirty five. She's tall
- 54:55Speaker 1: and thick with a tiny waist. It was love at
- 55:00Speaker 1: first sight, and I wanted nothing more than to make
- 55:03Speaker 1: her mind. We didn't rush into sex because I haven't
- 55:07Speaker 1: been with another woman since I met my wife twenty
- 55:09Speaker 1: two years ago. When we finally had sex recently, I
- 55:14Speaker 1: admitted I was nervous. She thought it was sweet, and
- 55:17Speaker 1: she jokingly said she'd take good care of me. When
- 55:21Speaker 1: I kissed her neck, she giggled. When I rubbed her skin,
- 55:25Speaker 1: she giggled. Every new position she giggled. I thought I
- 55:29Speaker 1: was showing out, but every few seconds she giggled. I
- 55:33Speaker 1: looked down at her. She had tears in her eyes
- 55:36Speaker 1: from all the laughing. I asked her what was so
- 55:40Speaker 1: darned funny, and she said she can tell I have
- 55:43Speaker 1: been married a long time. I was offended, but I
- 55:46Speaker 1: played it off and I let her take control. I
- 55:50Speaker 1: wasn't expecting what came next, and she had me holding
- 55:53Speaker 1: on for dear life. I got caught up in her
- 55:56Speaker 1: long legs and couldn't breathe at one point. Since at night,
- 56:00Speaker 1: she's been teasing me about wanting more. I don't have
- 56:04Speaker 1: the confidence to do it again. Am I out of
- 56:07Speaker 1: my league here? Or should I keep trying? Okay, let
- 56:12Speaker 1: me get this straight. Let me just get this straight.
- 56:15Speaker 1: For a second, you are asking. You were asking Steve
- 56:20Speaker 1: and I to help you be a better lover for
- 56:24Speaker 1: your side piece. Okay, I mean, is it over over
- 56:29Speaker 1: between you and your wife? And I guess according to
- 56:32Speaker 1: you it is. But you guys did try to make it.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You didn't try to make it work anymore after this,
- 56:38Speaker 1: right because your wife practically gave you away when she
- 56:41Speaker 1: said she didn't want you anymore and for you to
- 56:43Speaker 1: do whatever you needed to do on the side that
- 56:45Speaker 1: was like a permanent hall pass. I'm sure that hurt,
- 56:48Speaker 1: like you said it did. And it's been two years.
- 56:51Speaker 1: So what I don't get is why you guys didn't
- 56:55Speaker 1: just get a divorce. I mean, do you still do
- 56:57Speaker 1: things together? You just don't have sex. It sounds pretty complicated.
- 57:00Speaker 1: You're legally married but living single, and this sounds like
- 57:03Speaker 1: it's working for you. I mean, you must have some
- 57:06Speaker 1: sort of understanding or arrangement going on here, and your
- 57:10Speaker 1: girlfriend must too. I don't know. Anyway, fast forward to
- 57:14Speaker 1: the side piece. You may not have a confidence to
- 57:17Speaker 1: do it again, but she sure wants you to do
- 57:19Speaker 1: it again. She wants you to do it again with her,
- 57:22Speaker 1: so that should get your self esteem your confidence up
- 57:26Speaker 1: a bit. Right. Obviously she crushed your ego with all
- 57:29Speaker 1: the giggles and everything, but she didn't stop. She didn't
- 57:32Speaker 1: leave you, she didn't make fun of you. She didn't
- 57:34Speaker 1: even tell you to go back to your wife. So
- 57:36Speaker 1: she's obvious. She obviously liked something about you, and maybe
- 57:40Speaker 1: she can teach you a few things. So now the
- 57:42Speaker 1: ball's in your court. What are you gonna do? Steve?
- 57:46Speaker 1: Who girl? This letter here? What is so damn funny? Well,
- 57:54Speaker 1: I'm the man for this letter right here? Nice trash
- 57:57Speaker 1: Shelly good Christian answers. Hey, what this letter is about?
- 58:01Speaker 1: This ain't about no can your madge workout? Could y'all
- 58:05Speaker 1: talking through the y'all still do things together? That is
- 58:11Speaker 1: not what this is about. Oh, I have found the
- 58:15Speaker 1: secret in this letter. The subject is what is so
- 58:18Speaker 1: damn funny? That's what this letter about. The hell you
- 58:22Speaker 1: laughing at? That's what the letter is about. I'm in
- 58:26Speaker 1: here with all, I'm giving it all I got. The
- 58:28Speaker 1: hell is so damn funny. So now let's talk about
- 58:34Speaker 1: this because here what happened? This man been married for
- 58:37Speaker 1: eighteen years, You're dating this younger girl on the side,
- 58:40Speaker 1: you know, and I ain't he gonna talk to China.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I know you know what you're thinking. But my wife
- 58:45Speaker 1: stopped having set for me two years ago. She got
- 58:48Speaker 1: smart in an argument, told me I could do it
- 58:50Speaker 1: all I need to do on the side because she
- 58:52Speaker 1: won't me no more. Okay, now I'm gonna show you something.
- 59:00Speaker 1: It hurt like hell, but I move on and I
- 59:02Speaker 1: met somebody knew my side. Chick is married. Now this
- 59:06Speaker 1: is critical information now, but she and her husband had
- 59:10Speaker 1: been living apart for four years. So now let's let's
- 59:13Speaker 1: do the math. Hill his man been married eighteen years.
- 59:16Speaker 1: His wife told him two years ago she didn't want
- 59:18Speaker 1: to have sex. We know, told him get something on
- 59:20Speaker 1: the side, Gonna do what he want to do. He
- 59:21Speaker 1: meets his side chick that what that is married, but
- 59:25Speaker 1: has been living apart from her man for four years.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I'm fifty five, my girlfriend thirty five. She tall and
- 59:33Speaker 1: thick with a tiny waist. Love at first sight. I
- 59:35Speaker 1: wanted nothing more to make her mind. She ain't rushing
- 59:37Speaker 1: this sex because I hadn't been seeing a woman since
- 59:40Speaker 1: I met my wife twenty two years ago. Another key
- 59:44Speaker 1: piece of information. Here we go. When we finally had
- 59:47Speaker 1: sex recently, I admitted I was nervous. When we finally
- 59:51Speaker 1: had sex, I was nervous. She thought it was sweet,
- 59:53Speaker 1: and she said jokingly she would take good care of me.
- 59:57Speaker 1: That's not that's a warning. That wasn't. Actually, that was
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: a warning. When I kissed her neck, she giggled. When
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I rubbed her skin, she giggled. Every new position she giggled.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I thought I was showing out, but every few seconds
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: she giggled. I looked down at her. She had tears
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: in her eyes from all it laughing. I asked her,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: what was so damn funny? Hold on, you hold that thought.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Hold that thought, Steve. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: response coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: You're gonna find out what's so darned funny when we
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: come back right after this. You're listening, all right? Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is what's so
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: darned funny? Now? I've never taking this long down in
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the letter. I'm three fourth through with the letter before
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I have made a point. But let me just do
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: a recap so you can understand this fifty five year
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: old man. It's dating a thirty three year old chick
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: on the side from his wife, who he's been married
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: to eighteen years, but for the past two years they
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: haven't had sex. She told him go do it. He won't.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She don't want him anymore. The side chick has been
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: living separate from her husband, separated for four years. He
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: met her long legs, smallways, pretty face, fell in love
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: at first sight, wanted her, but he hadn't had sex
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: with another woman in eighteen twenty two years. She said,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: it's okay, I take care of you. I considered at
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: a warning, but he don't know that because he been
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: with nobody else in twenty two years. He kissed on
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the next she started laughing. He rubber skin, She started laughing,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: touch her feet, laughing. Every time he flipped to a
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: new position, she laughing. He looked down. She got tears
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: in her eyes from all the laughing. I asked her
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: what was so damn funny? And she could said, She said,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I can tell you've been married a long time. Well,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the question of the letter is what is so damn funny?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: And the answer, you, your asswer, is what she laughing at?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I tell you what's so damn funny? First of all,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: that's why your wife told you she laughing at your
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: little sex moves, and she laughing at all the little
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: stuff you trying. That's why your wife told you two
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: years ago, don't touch her, no damn more. And you
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: can go do what you want to do, because your
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: ass ain't frying. No bacon up in here like I
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: like mine extra crispy, and you in here serving up
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: all this raw ass bacon. Your grief ain't even hot.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: So now then she to put you out. Now, you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: gotta look at who you're dating. This woman had to
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: put this thing on you, and you don't know what
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to do now, you said in the letter, I was
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: offended and played it off, and I let her take control.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I wasn't expecting what came next. She had me holding
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: on for dear life. I got caught up in her
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: long legs and couldn't breathe at one point. Nah, I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: want to know what happened right there. That's why she's
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: been separated for four years. Because she too much you,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: too much for one man, but not enough for two.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: That's a beer with her song. She in her bone
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: crushing men walking break it off. You getting stuff happening
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to you, You ain't never had before. You scared you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: in that scared she in that too much. She over experienced.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: That's why her husband had left her for four years.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: He's somewhere trying to pull hisself together. Your wife don't
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: want you because you don't know what your answer is
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: doing you fifty five? I don't know what made you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: think you could do this, thirty five year old girl.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Your wife didn't want it no more. She don't want
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: it now. This is what this letters about. Dog. So
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: now listen to me. You said since that night, she's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: been teasing me about wanting more. I don't have a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: confidence to do it again. And I'm am I out
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: of my league here? Or should I keep trying? Now?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Problem way out your knee. You're a bit off moting.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: You can choot and you can't choot baby girl because
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the baby girl is a man eater. She's a man
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: she's a man eater. Yeah see, they wrote songs about
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: everything back then. You did in love with a man
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: eater and you ain't got nothing to eat. Call your
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: asses inadequate? You o't? Are you all that old baby
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: kissing on the net? She don't want that rubbing her skin?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Flip over and watch this. You let her take control.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: She locked your mucket ass up. You didn't know what toppen.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I can't read what you do anything. This is too much.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Let it go, stop, let it go. Let me check
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: your punk ass up. Yeah, now listen to me. This
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: is ain't not gonna work out for you. Dog. You
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: need to stop this right now. Now, what you're gonna
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: have to do is you're gonna have to do some practice.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But you're fifty five. You ain't got any tank what
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you had, so now you gotta do selective practice. That's
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: something I read a long time ago that a man
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: has a certain amount of pleasure explosions, let's call it
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: uh huh in his lifetime. At fifty five, you are
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: on the cusp of running a little low on the
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: number you got left, so you need to be most selective.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: The man either is gonna snatch yours from you, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you ain't gonna have a nun left you already. Sorry,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: the two women you've been with laughing, Your wife then
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: told you to get somebody on the side because she
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: don't even want it, no b And now the man
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: eating an h up one time and said let's just
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: try it again, and you ain't got the confidence and
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you sh doing She's doing everything, doing everything. He ain't
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: doing nothing, all right? He in the corner skin he
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: trimming and shook the blanket over in the corner and
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: pull it over his little naked head bonnet, just sucking
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: his thumb. I don't know what to do. Post your
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: comments on Today Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letters podcast on demand now
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes. That's to the hour.

- 1:06:50Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time now
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior? All right? Sure?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: It was the biggest Sports Talk got today is did
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Tony Romo say the N word? Did he? Or did
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: he not? Commentate the Chiefs and uh yeah, comtate the
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Chiefs game. They said, hey, the Chiefs of Bagels. They said, hey, man,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: did Tony Romo say this about the play was going on?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: He was just covering the play. But I just want
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to let him know. We're gonna find out if he
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: said or not. See this show got six black people
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: on him. They got three hundred and twenty six years
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: of being black. We know if you said it, you
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: ain't said see the problem in the statement, did he
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: We don't know if he did not, that's a wrong statement.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: We're gonna tell you if you said it or not.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: We don't ask you. We tell you. So yeah, we don't.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: We don't want to know all that now, Tony. If
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: you said, I'm tell you now you have problem. You
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: got problem said this now. If you didn't, you ain't
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: got nothing to worry about it. So yeah, I'll tell you. Uncle,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I need Tommy, I need Shirley Carler, everybody you day
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: is and just this ear what we think we heard
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: or what we didn't hear. Okay, here go, Dave, roll
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the tape, the extra yards, the tough yards to finish
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: on the play. Right there, You got three you talked about.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: This is the best talking team. They don't miss tackles.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Huh what what said? He said? And I but he
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: swatted them? Gee think we didn't get them geez out?
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Then Geez didn't come out? He swatch you? He Well, huh.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I'm the real expert on this show. I'm the only
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: one in the show that grew up in the sixties.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I'm in my sixties. Yeah, yeah, I talk about the sixties. Right, Yeah,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you that he will have a job,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: ok as long as he wants it, because that's not
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: what he said. The boy was called? What else could
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: it have been called? See? Now the lying skills get
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: to come into see you say that was three three missus? Okay, Okay,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: that don't work three three near miss three? There was
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: three near by? That was three minute? Grow yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: that was three mins social media. I think what they say,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: he can't lose his job for the all right, coming
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll talk about
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: a married man who needs to know if there's some
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: limits on apologies. We'll find out what that means. Right
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Steve Jerry on Facebook writes this question, is there a limit?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Is there a time limit on apologies? Jerry says, because
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: he's tired of making them. About a month ago, a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: girl he dated almost ten years ago moved back into town.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: She's now engaged, but her dude is not moving for
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: a couple of months. So anyway, she called Jerry as
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: if Jerry could to see if Jerry could help her
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: move the heavy things in her place, since she was
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: solo and Jerry was nearby, so he said cool and
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: helped her out and left it at that. Afterwards, she
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: posted on my Facebook page thanking me for the help.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: But since I didn't mention this to my wife for
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: no other reason than I just didn't think it was
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: a big deal, all hell is broken loose and I
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: must be cheating, wanting to cheat, or hiding other things.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I just didn't think about it. A month later, it's
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: still coming up and I've apologized no less than once
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: a day since then. I think my wife's I know
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: my wife's feelings were hurt, and nothing like that will
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: happen again. That said, I'm done with apologizing. Uncle Steve,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Come on, dog, Is there an official limit on this stuff,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: because I feel like there should be. Y'all know I
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: feel your dog, I feel you, I feel you understand
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: what you're saying. The problem is we're talking about an
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: injured woman, and she's not just any woman. This is
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: your wife. And the girl made it public by posting yeah,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: so now she has public embarrassment. Y'all. Wait a minute,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: ain't that Jim that went over there and help that
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: fine girl move. Yes, and didn't y'all used to date
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: her back in back in the day. Now, dog, I
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: understand what you're saying, and I believe what you're saying.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Nothing happened and all of that, and I got you.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: But you gotta now do whatever's necessary to peace at
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the house. That's the rule of it. There is no number.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: We don't know what that number is. No married man does.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: It can be unthinkable, It can result to every day
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: for the next year. It could be overweight our Christmas eve.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I don't know what it could be. The only thing
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you can do is helping people. Really, he's got the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: wrong attitude about apologizing though, you know, but the apologies
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: is going to have to keep coming, because as long
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: as it's in her head, you've got to do something
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to count that. You have to stage of the public
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: refusal to help. You could do several things. Let's let's
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: start with a couple I did. You can see the
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: old lay did that stay next to you struggling up
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: the steps with some grocery. She didn't come from the
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: grocery store in front of your wife. You must say,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I wish I would somebody else in front of my wife.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: That's probably why your husband died, miss Jacobs, because he
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: was always calling your badget. You've got to do something public.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Question dis own helping, You've got to do something public.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I just don't know what to say, dog. In other words,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I have no answer for you. Uncle can't say you
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: on this, Yes, ma'am? Okay? Had what? Should he have
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: told her? No? So? Because then he shouldn't. Wait, you
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: did what? Wait? You went over to whose house? Well?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: How did you know she was in town? So how's
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: she gonna call you? And then you run over there? Uh? No,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: there's no way he should lose. So maybe you know what,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Maybe he should have asked his wife over there when
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the lady first call, because the answer when you ask,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the answer is no, it's going to be no. It's
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: so it's luke. Yeah, he should have just said no.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: He couldn't help her period. All right? You tripping over
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: his lamp? I brought up the stairs, just the lamp.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: All right. Well, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we have to say happy birthday to
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: the legendary the one and only, or is he would
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: say the onliest one, Uncle Charlie Wilson. Uncle Charlie is

- 1:16:49Speaker 1: don't want the injury. No, I'm gonna have the long
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: average because I keep making money if I keep playing
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the average injury the pay fantastic career though it was fantastic,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Give me that mediocre with some long money with it.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I'm with junior step. Come on to my two counterparts here,
