Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Democrat Party HATES Law-Enforcement, Newsom gets behind Dyslexia & a Tale of Tucker Turbulence Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Ted Cruz, a weekend review,
- 0:02Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are some of the
- 0:04Speaker 1: stories that you may have missed that we talked about
- 0:06Speaker 1: this week. First up, the Democratic Party as a whole.
- 0:09Speaker 1: They've made it clear they are now the ANTIAI lawn
- 0:12Speaker 1: forcement party and their leader Barack Obama, well, he says
- 0:16Speaker 1: it's totally fine to go against ICE agents with new
- 0:20Speaker 1: disparaging remarks. We have that for you in a second. Also,
- 0:23Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom got his feelings hurt and decided to hit
- 0:26Speaker 1: back it center Cruz now claiming a disability dyslexia is
- 0:31Speaker 1: his excuse. Yes, this isn't a joke, and we'll play
- 0:34Speaker 1: it for you. And finally, Tucker Carlson's in Israel and
- 0:38Speaker 1: it didn't go very well, especially one of his big lies.
- 0:43Speaker 1: It's the week in review and it starts right now.
- 0:46Speaker 1: This is interesting, and this is where I've been saying
- 0:49Speaker 1: this a lot over and over again, especially in TV.
- 0:52Speaker 1: The Democratic Party as a whole is anti law enforcement.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's not just the aocs of the party. A perfect
- 1:00Speaker 1: example of this being part of their platform center is
- 1:03Speaker 1: Barack Obama doing a podcast this week and he is
- 1:07Speaker 1: I would argue, blessing the Democratic movement right, the Marxist,
- 1:11Speaker 1: Socialist and communists.
- 1:13Speaker 2: You've got my blessing.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I'm probably one of the biggest names of the Democratic Party,
- 1:17Speaker 1: if not the biggest name of the elder statesman. Now
- 1:20Speaker 1: that people listen to, I'm giving my blessing that you
- 1:23Speaker 1: can attack Ice agents now.
- 1:24Speaker 2: And this is a platform of the DNC.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely, Here, let's give a listen to what he
- 1:29Speaker 3: had to say.
- 1:30Speaker 4: The rogue behavior of agents of the federal government is
- 1:37Speaker 4: deeply concerning and dangerous, the sort of behavior that in
- 1:44Speaker 4: the past we've seen in authoritarian countries, and we've seen
- 1:48Speaker 4: in dictatorships, but we have not seen in America.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I mean, you're calling Ice agents who are just enforcing
- 1:57Speaker 1: the law rogue agents. That is from a former eight
- 2:00Speaker 1: president and the leader of the Democratic Party.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Still, yeah, no, that is exactly right. By the way,
- 2:05Speaker 3: that same message was conveyed by Gavin Newsom in Munich.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Give a listen to Gavin Newsom. We'll talk about these
- 2:11Speaker 3: two together.
- 2:12Speaker 5: But I want to remember all those images of masked
- 2:14Speaker 5: men the secret police, something familiar in Germany. Those first
- 2:20Speaker 5: images came out of my state the second largest city
- 2:23Speaker 5: in the United States of America. We saw four thousand
- 2:25Speaker 5: National Guard federalized, first time. We never sit anything like this,
- 2:29Speaker 5: and seven hundred active duty marines sent not overseas, but
- 2:33Speaker 5: to the second largest city in the United States of America,
- 2:36Speaker 5: militarizing the streets of my city, masked men, masked men
- 2:39Speaker 5: showing up unaccountable.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Let's be very clear.
- 2:42Speaker 1: At center, that is Gavin Newsom comparing American law enforcement
- 2:46Speaker 1: to Nazis.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yep, yep, which which, by the way, is what Obama
- 2:51Speaker 3: was doing too. By the way, just like AOC and Whitmer,
- 2:54Speaker 3: Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterated. He said, we've never
- 2:58Speaker 3: seen National Guard federalized in the States. I guess his
- 3:02Speaker 3: history book does not discuss the civil rights movement. He's
- 3:05Speaker 3: never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower. He's
- 3:08Speaker 3: never heard of sending the National Guard into Southern States.
- 3:11Speaker 3: When Democrats who refuse to desegregate schools resisted, Eisenhower sent
- 3:18Speaker 3: the National Guard in The pattern is the same. In
- 3:21Speaker 3: this instance you have Democrats who are saying we refuse
- 3:23Speaker 3: to comply with federal immigration law. Then you had in
- 3:27Speaker 3: the fifties and sixties you had Democrats saying we refuse
- 3:30Speaker 3: to comply with civil rights law. In both instances, it
- 3:34Speaker 3: is lawless Democrats attacking law enforcement. Gavin Newsom is proudly
- 3:41Speaker 3: following the tradition of Bull Connor, another Democrat politician. The
- 3:46Speaker 3: demonizing of law enforcement is central to who they are,
- 3:49Speaker 3: central to who the party is. And now I want
- 3:52Speaker 3: you to listen to Barack Obama in this podcast, because
- 3:55Speaker 3: he does a judo move that that is classic Barack Obama,
- 4:03Speaker 3: give a listen.
- 4:04Speaker 4: The other side does the mean angry temagogy, you know,
- 4:11Speaker 4: exclusive us them, you know, divisive politics. That's there, that's
- 4:21Speaker 4: that's their home court. Yeah, our court is coming together.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Our court is Look, you know a great example. Wasn't political,
- 4:33Speaker 4: bad bunnies halftimes you're going to say that, Well, it was.
- 4:38Speaker 4: It resonated. It was smart because it wasn't preaching, it
- 4:45Speaker 4: was showing. It was demonstrating and displaying this is what
- 4:49Speaker 4: a community is.
- 4:50Speaker 1: By the way, I love that he's just admitting there, yes,
- 4:52Speaker 1: this is a smart political move to have a political
- 4:55Speaker 1: statement at the Super Bowl during halftime.
- 4:58Speaker 2: He's admitting what we were.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Saying, that it was a political decision, and he's like,
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's a brilliant political operative move for the NFL to
- 5:05Speaker 1: do this.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Well. Look, I mentioned that what Obama was doing there
- 5:09Speaker 3: is judo, and judo is flipping and using your opponent's
- 5:13Speaker 3: weight against you against them. But it is also it
- 5:19Speaker 3: is classic Orwellian. It is accusing the other side of
- 5:22Speaker 3: doing what you are doing. Barack Obama, I think in
- 5:25Speaker 3: any fair history he will not go down in history
- 5:28Speaker 3: as this because most historians are leftists, so they will
- 5:31Speaker 3: carve him into Mount Rushmore. But but if you were
- 5:34Speaker 3: fairly assessing his legacy, he is one of the most
- 5:37Speaker 3: bitterly partisan leaders our country has ever had. And I
- 5:40Speaker 3: think much of the rage, the anger we have of
- 5:45Speaker 3: the two sides screaming at each other, finds its origins
- 5:50Speaker 3: in the Obama presidency. And I got to say, I
- 5:53Speaker 3: my principal reaction to that is is one of regret
- 5:57Speaker 3: of the lost opportunity. Listen, Barack Obama was elected as
- 6:01Speaker 3: the first African American president ever for a country that
- 6:05Speaker 3: that that that for a century plus had slavery. To
- 6:11Speaker 3: elect a black president was a big damn deal. And
- 6:15Speaker 3: Obama was given by history the opportunity to be what
- 6:20Speaker 3: he claimed to be, to be coming together, to be
- 6:22Speaker 3: a healing president, and he chose just the opposite. He
- 6:26Speaker 3: chose he chose to just rub salt in the racial
- 6:30Speaker 3: wounds to divide. If you remember early on the Beer
- 6:33Speaker 3: Somebody Had where he demonized law enforcement. Right at the
- 6:36Speaker 3: beginning of his presidency, you remember he described people in
- 6:40Speaker 3: small towns in America as quote bitter and angry and
- 6:44Speaker 3: clinging to their God and their guns. You remember Michelle
- 6:47Speaker 3: Obama saying that when Barack Obama was elected president was
- 6:51Speaker 3: the first time she'd ever been in America country. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 3: but like it is, and if you look at the
- 6:58Speaker 3: fruit listen, I've believe that Barack Obama fundamentally is a Marxist.
- 7:04Speaker 3: He was just a few years ahead of me at
- 7:06Speaker 3: Harvard Law School. We did not overlap, But I think
- 7:09Speaker 3: he is steeped in cultural Marxism. Now, when he was president,
- 7:14Speaker 3: he was not vocal about all of that because the
- 7:17Speaker 3: country at the time was not ready for it. But
- 7:20Speaker 3: I think AOC is the spiritual grandchild of Barack Obama.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I think Mandami is the spiritual grandchild of Barack Obama.
- 7:30Speaker 3: And as you and I have talked about, on the
- 7:32Speaker 3: pod before. During the Biden presidency, maybe the most frequent
- 7:36Speaker 3: question I got asked is who is running things? And
- 7:40Speaker 3: the really terrifying answer, I don't, in fact know. I
- 7:46Speaker 3: know it wasn't Joe Biden. He did not have the
- 7:48Speaker 3: capacity to make decisions. Everyone knew that. The Democrats all
- 7:51Speaker 3: knew that. Everyone knew that. The press knew that, they
- 7:53Speaker 3: just didn't report on it. I don't know, But my
- 7:57Speaker 3: theory is the person who was running things is the
- 8:00Speaker 3: guy who we just played. I think Barack Obama was
- 8:04Speaker 3: the grand puppet master. He had a bunch of young
- 8:06Speaker 3: apparatics who are little Marxists that were his former staffers
- 8:10Speaker 3: in the White House. And the open borders we saw
- 8:14Speaker 3: that was Barack Obama's intention. The radical DEI, the demonization
- 8:21Speaker 3: of law enforcement. All of that is the fruits of Obama,
- 8:24Speaker 3: by the way, the disastrous foreign policy, the embrace of Iran.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Iran sending cash on pallets literally.
- 8:32Speaker 3: And listen, Obama sent one point seven billion dollars of
- 8:36Speaker 3: cash on pallets and planes in the middle of the night.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Joe Biden said hold my beer and flowed one hundred
- 8:43Speaker 3: billion dollars to Iran. Now, when I say Joe Biden
- 8:45Speaker 3: said it really the person who said hold my beer
- 8:48Speaker 3: was Barack Obama. He said, now, I'm just really gonna
- 8:51Speaker 3: do it using the puppet Biden. But for him to
- 8:56Speaker 3: accuse Republicans, the bitterness Obama has shown over and over
- 9:03Speaker 3: and over again as he's using rhetoric. You know, he's
- 9:06Speaker 3: just demonized Ice and called them called federal law enforcement
- 9:10Speaker 3: agents to talitarian agents. And then he says, gosh, it's
- 9:14Speaker 3: the other side that's me, not like us. And actually
- 9:18Speaker 3: the word that I love that he says in that
- 9:21Speaker 3: little clip is exclusionary. The right is exclusionary. And that's
- 9:25Speaker 3: such a total lie. It is the left that is vicious.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You must believe in in in in exactly their orthodoxy,
- 9:35Speaker 3: or you are excommunicated. Look at look at j k Rowling.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Jk Rowling, who by any measure is politically on the left.
- 9:43Speaker 3: But she has this crazy view that that women exist
- 9:49Speaker 3: and that to the intolerant leftist is unacceptable and she
- 9:54Speaker 3: must be canceled. And you look at all of these
- 9:57Speaker 3: these these Hollywood ninnies who were in the Harry Potter
- 10:00Speaker 3: movies who won't associate with her. She literally made she
- 10:05Speaker 3: made them millions of dollars from when they were children,
- 10:08Speaker 3: and they are too their virtue is too great to
- 10:13Speaker 3: be seen in the same room. And by the way,
- 10:16Speaker 3: Barack Obama, in addition to being a hardcore leftist, and
- 10:21Speaker 3: I think much of his worldview is actually anti colonialist
- 10:25Speaker 3: if you look at It's why he hates Israel, because
- 10:29Speaker 3: he views Israel as a colonial power. And it's why
- 10:33Speaker 3: fundamentally he doesn't believe American power is legitimate. You know,
- 10:37Speaker 3: he was asked as president, do you believe in American exceptionalism?
- 10:41Speaker 3: He says, sure, I do, just like the Greeks believe
- 10:44Speaker 3: in Greek exceptionalism and the British believe in British exceptionalism,
- 10:48Speaker 3: which is to say, no, he does not, because American
- 10:51Speaker 3: exceptionalism is recognizing there's something unique and extraordinary in the
- 10:56Speaker 3: United States of America. There's never been a nation in
- 10:59Speaker 3: the history of man kind that has been a greater
- 11:01Speaker 3: force for good on planet Earth in the United States
- 11:04Speaker 3: of America. And lightning would strike Barack Obama before he
- 11:07Speaker 3: could utter that sentence.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 11:11Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 11:14Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Let's get to the politics now. Uh and we'll start
- 11:22Speaker 2: with uh.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You couldn't get any further from Duvall with Gavin Newsom,
- 11:25Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Trash Hold on a second, Gavin Newsom is the young
- 11:31Speaker 3: punk in the bar.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That's true.
- 11:34Speaker 3: And by the way, you and I get to be
- 11:36Speaker 3: I think in this story Robert Duval and Tommy Lee Jones. Yes,
- 11:40Speaker 3: although there is one thing that's stretching that, which is
- 11:42Speaker 3: Tommy Lee Jones is silent in that scene. And Ben,
- 11:44Speaker 3: you've never been silent in any scene. No, that's also
- 11:48Speaker 3: very true. That's very That's why they pay me the
- 11:50Speaker 3: big bucks. Right, That's that's why they pay me the
- 11:52Speaker 3: big bucks. You know, like the old time lawyers. They
- 11:55Speaker 3: pay you by the word.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Right, all right, So let's send the stage for this story.
- 12:00Speaker 1: When I do a show, we talk about it. We're
- 12:02Speaker 1: going to play part of that in a second. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: I want to know when did you and who how
- 12:06Speaker 1: fast did you find out? After he tweeted at us
- 12:09Speaker 1: getting all cranky, he got he got his under underwear
- 12:12Speaker 1: in a wad, is is the way I described it
- 12:14Speaker 1: my phone. Actually, I started getting random texts from people
- 12:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, what are you talking about? I was
- 12:18Speaker 1: in a meeting, I'm like what they're like? Dude, Newsom's
- 12:21Speaker 1: like throwing shade and he's really upset with you guys.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And I was like, well, that's what I would expect
- 12:25Speaker 1: from a California Liberal to be honest with you.
- 12:27Speaker 2: When did you find out?
- 12:29Speaker 3: So our last podcast, we lit up AOC and Gretchen
- 12:34Speaker 3: Whitmer and Gavin Newsom, all of whom went to Munich
- 12:38Speaker 3: to the Munich Security Conference, and they all made fools
- 12:40Speaker 3: of themselves. They're all trying to run for president, they're
- 12:42Speaker 3: all trying to be impressive, and they all just like
- 12:45Speaker 3: totally beclowned themselves, and and AOC and Whitmer showed they
- 12:49Speaker 3: know nothing about foreign policy or national security. Gavin Newsom
- 12:52Speaker 3: did something different. He just decided to demonize law enforcement
- 12:56Speaker 3: and he made a statement in particular, he said no
- 12:58Speaker 3: president has ever before federal the National Guard, and that
- 13:02Speaker 3: that's just laughably false. So I want to play the
- 13:05Speaker 3: clip from what we said in the very last podcast,
- 13:08Speaker 3: and this is the clip that's so triggered Young Gavitt.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Listen to be very clear at center that is Gavin
- 13:16Speaker 1: Newsom comparing American law enforcement to nazis.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yep, yep, which which, by the way, it is what
- 13:22Speaker 3: Obama was doing too. By the way, just like AOC
- 13:26Speaker 3: and Whitmer, Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterated. He said,
- 13:30Speaker 3: We've never seen national guards federalized in the States. I
- 13:34Speaker 3: guess his history book does not discuss the civil rights movement.
- 13:37Speaker 3: He's never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower.
- 13:40Speaker 3: He's never heard of sending the National Guard into Southern States.
- 13:44Speaker 3: When Democrats who refused to desegregate schools resisted, Eisenhower sent
- 13:50Speaker 3: the national Guard in. The pattern is the same. In
- 13:53Speaker 3: this instance you have Democrats who are saying we refuse
- 13:56Speaker 3: to comply with federal immigration law. Then you had in
- 13:59Speaker 3: the fifth and sixties you had democrats saying we refuse
- 14:02Speaker 3: to comply with civil rights law. In both instances, it
- 14:06Speaker 3: is lawless democrats attacking law enforcement. You know, Gavin Newsom
- 14:12Speaker 3: is proudly following the tradition of Bull Connor, another Democrat politician.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That's all that you really said, And then his response
- 14:22Speaker 1: was a total freak out.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, So Gavin on Twitter, he sent out a tweet,
- 14:27Speaker 3: and like all good Democrats, when caught being full of crap,
- 14:32Speaker 3: he responds by attacking and screaming, you cannot criticize me,
- 14:37Speaker 3: and in particular what he said is Ted Cruz calling
- 14:40Speaker 3: a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low even for him.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Now let's start out, first of all, who the hell
- 14:49Speaker 3: knew Gavin Newsom was dyslexic? I didn't know that, did
- 14:52Speaker 3: you know that?
- 14:52Speaker 6: Big?
- 14:53Speaker 2: And you know it's funny I dyslexic, But that doesn't
- 14:55Speaker 2: mean you're stupid.
- 14:56Speaker 3: By the way, By the way, I didn't know you
- 14:58Speaker 3: were dyslexic either.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't use as a crutch. But like,
- 15:02Speaker 1: since Gavin's bringing up like it's some like you're like
- 15:04Speaker 1: you went off the rails on him, Like how dare
- 15:07Speaker 1: you do? Like I'm dislike sick doesn't mean you're dumb?
- 15:09Speaker 1: It that make you mean stupid statements because you're just
- 15:11Speaker 1: like sick, Like you can still be intelligent and be dyslexic, buddy.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah, So Gavin's descent the defense is is you're not
- 15:19Speaker 3: allowed to criticize me because I have a disability. That is,
- 15:23Speaker 3: if there's anything to embody the idiocy of today's Democrat
- 15:26Speaker 3: party that does it pretty well. So it's interesting. I
- 15:29Speaker 3: sent two responses. The first response I sent was, I
- 15:34Speaker 3: didn't say you couldn't read you clown with the emoji
- 15:38Speaker 3: of the clown. I said you were quote historically illiterate
- 15:44Speaker 3: because you apparently have no idea that Eisenhower federalized the
- 15:49Speaker 3: National Guard to stop Democrat governors from defying federal law. Specifically,
- 15:55Speaker 3: on September twenty third, nineteen fifty seven, President Eisenhower issued
- 15:58Speaker 3: Executive Order one zero seven three zero, federalizing the Arkansas
- 16:03Speaker 3: National Guard and ordering US Army troops one hundred and
- 16:05Speaker 3: first Airborne Division to Little Rock, Arkansas, YEP. This action
- 16:10Speaker 3: broke the blockade by Democrat Governor Orville Fabas allowing the
- 16:14Speaker 3: Little Rock nine to desegregate Central High School. Now, Gavin
- 16:19Speaker 3: had no response to that. Now, I got to tell you,
- 16:21Speaker 3: let me bring a little bit inside the scenes. So
- 16:24Speaker 3: my team had a different response that they suggested, and
- 16:27Speaker 3: I have a whole social media communications teams. They had
- 16:30Speaker 3: a different response. Their different response was to send out
- 16:37Speaker 3: a tweet with a GIF and a gif of video.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Just so everybody that doesn't know what that is. Like,
- 16:44Speaker 1: some people may not realize with that. It's like the
- 16:46Speaker 1: many little video kind of thing you send out.
- 16:49Speaker 3: So it's Ben Stiller as Zoolander and he's looking down
- 16:52Speaker 3: at a sign that says the Gavin Newsom Center for
- 16:55Speaker 3: what kids who don't know what historically illiterate means and
- 16:59Speaker 3: who want learn to do other stuff good too. So
- 17:04Speaker 3: that my team put that together. I did not put
- 17:06Speaker 3: that together. I saw that and I sent mine instead,
- 17:11Speaker 3: and then my team got all upset and they're like, wait,
- 17:14Speaker 3: you didn't like ours, And I said, you know what,
- 17:17Speaker 3: Let's have a competition. Send that one to. Let's put
- 17:21Speaker 3: them both.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Out and see which one wins.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Both out on the internet and and see which one wins. So,
- 17:28Speaker 3: as of we're now twelve twenty one am, the Ben
- 17:34Speaker 3: Stiller gift, which was clever, has gotten three hundred and
- 17:38Speaker 3: ninety seven thousand views. Okay, the one I wrote has
- 17:42Speaker 3: gotten a million views.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So how long are you going to haze them on
- 17:46Speaker 1: this data that you have that's undisputed?
- 17:49Speaker 3: Okay, So so not not to brag too much, but
- 17:52Speaker 3: I did beat the team by two d and fifty percent.
- 17:57Speaker 1: For everyone, I want to take them behind the scenes.
- 17:59Speaker 1: When Senator when you are correct, and your team has
- 18:03Speaker 1: these moments. I enjoy not being on that team. I
- 18:06Speaker 1: enjoy being a spectator, but I do know.
- 18:09Speaker 3: But hold on, hold on, I'm gonna be gracious. I'm
- 18:12Speaker 3: gonna be gracious for a minute. Although I got two
- 18:15Speaker 3: and a half times as much coverage as they did
- 18:17Speaker 3: in terms of people watching it. I will say the
- 18:20Speaker 3: comments on their gift, the folks that saw it loved it.
- 18:24Speaker 3: So I'm just gonna go through a few. Joe Lonsdale,
- 18:27Speaker 3: good friend of ours, big tech entrepreneur, has been on
- 18:30Speaker 3: the podcast. He did the crying emoji. Another guy said,
- 18:34Speaker 3: whoever came up with this meme need needs a raise.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Another guy said, sir, this is a ten for ten post.
- 18:41Speaker 3: It's too bad news and won't be able to read it.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Another person had a gift from the Simpsons. Hello, nine
- 18:48Speaker 3: one one, I'd like to report a murder. Yeah it
- 18:53Speaker 3: the volume of comments, the X trolling continues. Good good
- 18:58Speaker 3: picture of Trump toasting crying Trump emojis. Clear crews clearly
- 19:03Speaker 3: won this round. Baha haa haha. It's like this put
- 19:08Speaker 3: you in my top five favorite politicians I'm really depressed
- 19:11Speaker 3: to or the other four. Yeah, well done. Good sir,
- 19:15Speaker 3: well done spitting out. He went to school at the
- 19:18Speaker 3: Leering Schools.
- 19:19Speaker 1: So that so the team is going to get accolades
- 19:21Speaker 1: for quality over quantity.
- 19:23Speaker 3: That's so when I gave them that, actually their comments,
- 19:26Speaker 3: the people who saw it loved it. They're like, this
- 19:29Speaker 3: is a friggin great comment. And and so you know
- 19:32Speaker 3: what I said, I'm glad we sent them both. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 3: we reached more people minehead kind of substance. I'm going
- 19:38Speaker 3: to tell you another admission. You know how I wrote
- 19:41Speaker 3: my tweet?
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah? How you do?
- 19:46Speaker 3: How?
- 19:47Speaker 2: No? No, I'm saying how and tell me how.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I know you said yeah, oh yeah, No, I like.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I know you wrote it, but I can. I can all.
- 19:53Speaker 1: What people don't understand about you is when you you
- 19:56Speaker 1: can check out of any conversation if you have something
- 19:59Speaker 1: clever that you you want to get out into the
- 20:01Speaker 1: world of the internet, as.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You described earlier, I call it X social media.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I'm just gonna hit you on age there like putting
- 20:09Speaker 1: it out into the internet.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yes, okay, al Gore he created it back in the day.
- 20:12Speaker 1: But when you when there's nothing scarier than watching TC
- 20:17Speaker 1: at dinner, just quietly over there and disengaging from the
- 20:23Speaker 1: conversation for about five minutes, and you know what's coming.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's gonna be something really entertaining on the internet. I
- 20:29Speaker 1: can promise you that.
- 20:30Speaker 3: So my team had sent me this gift Monday night.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I was playing hoops, and as you know, I play
- 20:35Speaker 3: hoops twice a week, and so it was about three
- 20:37Speaker 3: hours of hoops and I had after a couple of games,
- 20:39Speaker 3: we lost one game and so I didn't hit my
- 20:42Speaker 3: free throw. So I was sitting waiting for the next game,
- 20:44Speaker 3: and so I typed this responding and it's actually a
- 20:47Speaker 3: very cool thing about AI. So the first part of
- 20:51Speaker 3: it that I sent, which is because you apparently have
- 20:53Speaker 3: no idea that Eisenhower federalized the National Guard, stop dem
- 20:55Speaker 3: governor from defining federal I wrote that, Yeah, But then
- 20:58Speaker 3: I went to Google and I ped in Eisenhower federalizing
- 21:02Speaker 3: national Guard because, like you know, I wanted a little
- 21:04Speaker 3: more research, and Google AI. So the second paragraph of
- 21:08Speaker 3: my tweet was written by Google AI. And so the
- 21:11Speaker 3: paragraph specifically on September twenty third, nineteen fifty seven. So
- 21:15Speaker 3: I didn't know the date until I went into Google AI.
- 21:18Speaker 3: President Eisenhower issued Executive Order ten seven thirty. I didn't
- 21:21Speaker 3: know the number of the ten seven thirty. Like the
- 21:24Speaker 3: whole details of the second paragraph the Beauty of Google AI.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It took me thirty seconds to pull those details.
- 21:33Speaker 1: It took you missing your free throws then giving you
- 21:36Speaker 1: the opportunity, the opportunity if.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I hit my damn free throws.
- 21:41Speaker 2: All right, punk this, none of this would have ever happened.
- 21:43Speaker 1: None of this would have ever happened if it wasn't
- 21:45Speaker 1: for you sucking at free throw shooting that night.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I just want to be clear about what ropped this
- 21:49Speaker 2: opportunity to.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Get Let me just say for the record, what happened
- 21:52Speaker 3: the last time you played hoose with me?
- 21:55Speaker 1: You or someone else decided to break my finger. It's
- 21:58Speaker 1: still crooked. If you can't see it right there, America,
- 22:00Speaker 1: there it is. It is a crooked finger right there.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I'm just saying you were a college Division one varsity athlete.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And to be clear, Lonsdale would back me up on this.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I taped it up and played like a man.
- 22:13Speaker 3: You did. I agree you did. You did not crawl
- 22:15Speaker 3: up at a ball and and whimper. But I'm just
- 22:18Speaker 3: saying you, like you know you both side of the hoopsman.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And I still hit my shots. You guys don't play fair.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You get older, you start grabbing for some of you
- 22:26Speaker 1: can't see straight. If it's that's how old guys play,
- 22:30Speaker 1: that's how old guys play, exactly exactly. You mess your
- 22:33Speaker 1: free throws. A I came and save the day. You
- 22:35Speaker 1: put out the tweet, Gavin shoots back, and that's how
- 22:38Speaker 1: we got to where we.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Are right now. But think about it, even like a
- 22:42Speaker 3: year ago. To put together the details of that tweet,
- 22:45Speaker 3: I would have a year ago probably if I wanted
- 22:48Speaker 3: to have a little substance in the tweet, I might
- 22:49Speaker 3: have said, you take your team involved to my team,
- 22:52Speaker 3: said hey, research, give me the exact details. I know
- 22:55Speaker 3: Eisenhower federalized the National Guard.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Give me when wearing why right?
- 22:59Speaker 3: And someone would have re search it, they would have
- 23:00Speaker 3: sent it to me, and that I would have included it.
- 23:02Speaker 3: And instead I just did it in between games. Like
- 23:05Speaker 3: the whole thing took me maybe three minutes to type.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So when did you so? When did you see the
- 23:10Speaker 1: newsom response? Was it after missing more free throws or
- 23:13Speaker 1: was it later on?
- 23:15Speaker 3: It was before the game. And to be honest, I
- 23:17Speaker 3: only set one game I missed free throws that and
- 23:20Speaker 3: won most of the rest of the time, and the
- 23:21Speaker 3: couple of times I lost, I hit my free throws,
- 23:23Speaker 3: but but I did once miss my damn free throws.
- 23:27Speaker 3: But the beauty of it is it literally so I
- 23:31Speaker 3: had seen it before I started playing, and I'm like, no,
- 23:34Speaker 3: and I'm sorry of you know, I don't know about you,
- 23:36Speaker 3: but like when I'm thinking about something, I often will
- 23:39Speaker 3: sort of put it out of my mind and let
- 23:41Speaker 3: the back of my.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Part you go back and then you come back.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah, And it was sort of like literally, as I'm
- 23:46Speaker 3: playing hoops, I'm chewing on what kind of response I
- 23:49Speaker 3: want to have, and so then when I had a break,
- 23:51Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, let me type it out.
- 23:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, is Gavin news some on your
- 23:55Speaker 1: top five liberals that you would love when on one debate.
- 23:58Speaker 3: With h Look, I don't know. We talked about in
- 24:02Speaker 3: the last podcast, how I think Newsom and AOC are
- 24:05Speaker 3: probably the top two Democratic contenders for the presidential nomination.
- 24:10Speaker 3: We'll see neither of them know what the hell they're
- 24:12Speaker 3: talking about, So I feel confident we will see them
- 24:16Speaker 3: called to account as before.
- 24:18Speaker 1: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
- 24:21Speaker 1: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
- 24:23Speaker 1: podcast from early this week to hear the entire thing.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I want to get back to the big story, number
- 24:29Speaker 1: three of the week. You may have missed all right center.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So it was a very interesting week. There was a
- 24:35Speaker 1: big back and forth. I don't think it's an interview.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I think it's a debate. It was had a lot
- 24:40Speaker 1: of fanfare. It was Tucker Carlson going to Israel to
- 24:44Speaker 1: have a sit down with the US ambassador, dear friend
- 24:47Speaker 1: of both of ours, Mike Huckabee. I was rooting for
- 24:50Speaker 1: Mike because you knew what Tucker was going to do.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But before we even got any of the interview out,
- 24:57Speaker 1: and maybe it's because it didn't go well.
- 24:58Speaker 2: For Tucker, we'll see.
- 25:00Speaker 1: But what he did do is had a great distraction,
- 25:03Speaker 1: claiming he was detained in Israel at the airport and
- 25:06Speaker 1: think good as you got safe out of the country.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Turns out it was all crap and a lie.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, I gotta say, Tucker Carlson's descent into madness
- 25:16Speaker 3: has been tragic and horrific to watch. You and I
- 25:20Speaker 3: have both known Tucker a long long time. I've known him,
- 25:22Speaker 3: probably twenty five years. And you know, there was a
- 25:26Speaker 3: time when he would vocally defend Israel when he was
- 25:29Speaker 3: Look when he had his Fox TV show during COVID
- 25:32Speaker 3: and the lockdowns, his monologue every night was the single
- 25:35Speaker 3: best thing on television and it was Destination TV. Well,
- 25:39Speaker 3: he got fired from Fox, and he's gone into the
- 25:41Speaker 3: kind of the dark hinterlens of the internet, and he's
- 25:44Speaker 3: turned really twisted. He is number one obsessed with Israel.
- 25:49Speaker 3: It seems like if you are a Jew hating bigot,
- 25:52Speaker 3: you too can be a guest on Tucker's show. He
- 25:54Speaker 3: will find every person that says the Jews are responsible
- 25:58Speaker 3: for terrible things. By the way, if if you're a
- 26:00Speaker 3: Nazi apologist, if you think Adolf Hitler was very very cool,
- 26:04Speaker 3: you too can be on Tucker's show. By the way,
- 26:07Speaker 3: if you're an Islamist, if you think Hamas is not
- 26:09Speaker 3: a terrorist organization, as Tucker has said, you too can
- 26:12Speaker 3: be on Tucker's show. If you hate Donald Trump, because
- 26:17Speaker 3: his show now is attacking almost every foreign policy decision
- 26:21Speaker 3: Donald Trump makes, you too can be on Tucker's show.
- 26:24Speaker 3: And he has said the people he hates most in
- 26:27Speaker 3: the world. Are they the jihadist who murder Americans?
- 26:30Speaker 4: Know?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Now, those are the people he has not Hesboaham, who
- 26:37Speaker 3: are they? They are Christian Zionists, he said, there's no
- 26:39Speaker 3: one on planet Earth. By the way, if you are
- 26:42Speaker 3: a Christian and b you believe Israel should exist, that's
- 26:46Speaker 3: what it means to be a Zionist. You know, a
- 26:48Speaker 3: lot of the jew haters, they're scared of actually admitting
- 26:51Speaker 3: their jew haters, so instead of saying the word Jew,
- 26:54Speaker 3: they say Zionists because they think that feels that that
- 26:56Speaker 3: sounds so much more like Zionist means should Israel exist?
- 27:03Speaker 3: I got to say, I am proudly a Zionist, and
- 27:06Speaker 3: I'm proudly a Christian. And if you're a Christian and
- 27:09Speaker 3: you believe the nation of Israel should exist, there are
- 27:12Speaker 3: fifty seven Muslim countries in the world. If you think
- 27:14Speaker 3: the Jewish people should have one country, just one, mind you.
- 27:19Speaker 3: The modern state of Israel's formed after the Holocaust, after
- 27:22Speaker 3: the Nazis murdered over six million Jews in committing a genocide,
- 27:27Speaker 3: and the phrase never again meant something that there would
- 27:30Speaker 3: be a homeland, that at least there would be one
- 27:33Speaker 3: place for Jews to flee to. If you think Jews
- 27:35Speaker 3: ought exist, well, then Tucker hates you more than anybody
- 27:39Speaker 3: else on planet Earth. That he's identified two people in
- 27:42Speaker 3: particular that he hates the most, and that is my
- 27:44Speaker 3: Kukabee and me. And so he went to interview my Kokabee.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I'm sure their fireworks will see what happened in it.
- 27:51Speaker 3: And he touched down. It was the most bizarre thing.
- 27:54Speaker 3: He landed in Israel. He didn't leave the airport, so
- 27:58Speaker 3: I guess the interview was at the airport there.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And it sounds like that's because he was afraid of
- 28:03Speaker 1: his safety or something like he was trying to say,
- 28:04Speaker 1: I don't feel safe in this country and I need
- 28:06Speaker 1: to be able to leave in a moment's notice, so
- 28:08Speaker 1: I only do the interview at the airport. That's that
- 28:10Speaker 1: is what the team seem to be wanting to get
- 28:12Speaker 1: out there. They didn't feel safe. They didn't think that
- 28:14Speaker 1: Israel would be a place they would be able to be,
- 28:16Speaker 1: you know, free or welcome or whatever.
- 28:18Speaker 2: So we're just gonna stay in the airport.
- 28:20Speaker 1: But meanwhile, the same guy, they'll go to Russia that
- 28:23Speaker 1: detains Americans on a regular basis and will half. We
- 28:25Speaker 1: put out grocers to her propaganda on their behalf and
- 28:28Speaker 1: travel anywhere in Russia that they would.
- 28:30Speaker 3: By the way, and by the way, interview putin interview
- 28:34Speaker 3: the president of Iran. The president of Iran is actively
- 28:36Speaker 3: trying to murder President Trump right now. And Tucker did
- 28:40Speaker 3: an interview where he was practically rubbing his leg and
- 28:43Speaker 3: gazing adoringly like like like a love six sixteen year
- 28:47Speaker 3: old sucking soda straws with her crush at the soda fountain.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And don't forget any buy his houses in Katar, right,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Let's not forget that one.
- 28:55Speaker 3: He has literally purchased a home in Cutter. And by
- 28:59Speaker 3: the way, I get asked routinely, is Tucker being paid
- 29:04Speaker 3: millions of dollars from Cutter? I don't know. I have
- 29:07Speaker 3: no evidence of that. I will tell you it would
- 29:09Speaker 3: explain an awful lot, because if you play what Tucker
- 29:11Speaker 3: said on TV for years and he's done an about
- 29:14Speaker 3: face on everything, money would certainly explain an awful lot.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I don't know why. I just know that he is
- 29:20Speaker 3: attacking Israel and Jews. Every day. He is praising Islamists,
- 29:24Speaker 3: and he is attacking capitalism. He's praised Mandami repeatedly. He's
- 29:29Speaker 3: praised Maduro. I mean, I mean it is It's a
- 29:32Speaker 3: crazy descent. When he went to Israel, there were some
- 29:36Speaker 3: Christians in Israel who said, come visit us. We'll show
- 29:38Speaker 3: you that Christians are protected and prospering in Israel. That
- 29:42Speaker 3: the people who are persecuting Christians are are the Islamists
- 29:47Speaker 3: who are persecuting Christians. He's focused on, Well, Bethlehem, the
- 29:50Speaker 3: Christian population is under assault. Well that's true because the
- 29:54Speaker 3: Palestinian authority is in charge of Bethlehem, not Israel. Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 1: By the way, I just got back from Israel. The
- 30:02Speaker 1: number of people there there on a pilgrimage as Christian, yes,
- 30:07Speaker 1: is massive. And by the way, I want to be
- 30:11Speaker 1: I forgot to tell you this. I to Senator and
- 30:14Speaker 1: I probably should have put this out. Seeing the video
- 30:16Speaker 1: of Tucker Carlston airport, I was detained as well when
- 30:19Speaker 1: I left. I just can't believe you didn't come save me.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I'm a little disappointed. I thought you had my back here,
- 30:24Speaker 1: but I was detained in Israel because they checked my
- 30:26Speaker 1: passport and they held me for a second to the side.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So I just want to be clear. If Tucker Carlston
- 30:32Speaker 1: was detained. I was detained as well well.
- 30:34Speaker 3: And here's the state. Here's the statement Tucker put out.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Quote men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports,
- 30:42Speaker 3: hauled our executive producer into a side room, and then
- 30:45Speaker 3: demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about. Now,
- 30:49Speaker 3: I got to say, this ridiculous claim that he put
- 30:52Speaker 3: out was promptly refuted a by the video of his interaction.
- 30:56Speaker 3: He's in the airport, he's laughing, he's taking pictures and
- 30:59Speaker 3: selfies with people, be by a statement from the government
- 31:03Speaker 3: of Israel saying this is totally false and c by
- 31:06Speaker 3: the US embassy. But actually the best refutation to this
- 31:10Speaker 3: is there is a fellow online. I don't know him,
- 31:14Speaker 3: but he's a comedian. And he's a comedian named Amy
- 31:17Speaker 3: Kozak who does this great Tucker impression and it's hysterical.
- 31:22Speaker 3: If you're watching it on video, you really should watch
- 31:24Speaker 3: it on video because he's actually his hair looks like
- 31:26Speaker 3: Tucker and he does it. If not, give a listen,
- 31:28Speaker 3: because this is this is satire, it's not real. But
- 31:30Speaker 3: this is a comedian uh portraying Tucker being quote detained
- 31:35Speaker 3: by Israeli Airport sh Hi.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Okay, you peck you on bag a good pactfolio. I
- 31:43Speaker 7: don't even know what that means. Actually, I mean, I
- 31:46Speaker 7: certainly I packed some things.
- 31:47Speaker 8: I certainly packed a lot of things, like a lot,
- 31:50Speaker 8: and I probably overpacked it. I always tend to overpack
- 31:52Speaker 8: it and bring everything. And I'm sure other people packed
- 31:55Speaker 8: for me too.
- 31:56Speaker 9: So what do we have to ask to make sure
- 31:58Speaker 9: you know no one put the weapon or something you.
- 32:00Speaker 8: Well, I'm proud of owning guns. I own lots of guns.
- 32:04Speaker 8: I'm not gonna apologize for that. Like at all what
- 32:06Speaker 8: I own guns?
- 32:06Speaker 7: You'll have one here, So I'm not gonna apologize for that. Okay,
- 32:09Speaker 7: but did you I'm not gonna do it?
- 32:11Speaker 6: Okay, Okay, what do you do for work? Oh?
- 32:13Speaker 8: I'm a journalist. I'm a journalist and a commentator. I
- 32:16Speaker 8: talk to people, I have conversations with people journalists. Okay,
- 32:19Speaker 8: do you ever lie?
- 32:20Speaker 6: Oh?
- 32:20Speaker 7: All the time?
- 32:21Speaker 8: I lie every day, and they lie every day, and
- 32:24Speaker 8: I'll continue to do it. I'm sure I'll continue to
- 32:26Speaker 8: do that.
- 32:27Speaker 7: And and I hate it. I hate that I do that,
- 32:29Speaker 7: but I'm certain that I do do it.
- 32:31Speaker 6: You're lying right now, about your intentions.
- 32:33Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and I'm very honest about that. I'm very
- 32:37Speaker 7: honest about that.
- 32:38Speaker 6: You're honest that you're lying.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Okay, you with a major network, No, we're independent.
- 32:42Speaker 6: Okay, And who is funding you?
- 32:46Speaker 7: I'd rather not say. That's some of your business. So
- 32:49Speaker 7: your business at all? Actually, and I don't have to
- 32:52Speaker 7: disclose that.
- 32:52Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:53Speaker 9: You travel to the Middle East of all in the
- 32:55Speaker 9: last six months I have Okay, yes, where you go?
- 32:58Speaker 9: Which place is you travel well?
- 33:01Speaker 6: And why do you go there? No, let's go.
- 33:04Speaker 7: I went to places. They were nice. I just I
- 33:07Speaker 7: wanted to. I want to. I wanted to talk to
- 33:10Speaker 7: people and see people, have conversations with people.
- 33:13Speaker 9: Okay, any of the people you talk to have any
- 33:15Speaker 9: connections to radical terrorist organizations?
- 33:18Speaker 7: I mean really, I mean, last I checked, they were
- 33:22Speaker 7: all political organizations.
- 33:24Speaker 8: What any of those regimes were political organizations?
- 33:27Speaker 7: Lasted checks?
- 33:29Speaker 6: Okay?
- 33:32Speaker 7: These funny dude? Are you Jewish?
- 33:34Speaker 6: No?
- 33:34Speaker 8: I'm not Jewish. I certainly there's nothing wrong with being Jewish.
- 33:38Speaker 8: Some of my favorite people are Jewish, like really like
- 33:40Speaker 8: some of my very absolutely favorite people are Jewish. Some
- 33:43Speaker 8: of my least favorite people are Christian Zionists.
- 33:45Speaker 7: I hate them.
- 33:45Speaker 8: I'm I'm appalled by them actually, like really, like really,
- 33:48Speaker 8: but I'm not gonna apologize for who I am. I'm
- 33:50Speaker 8: a white person, I'm a Christian, I'm a man, and
- 33:52Speaker 8: I'm not gonna apologize for that period.
- 33:55Speaker 6: Okay, okay, a couple more questions. Where are you from?
- 33:59Speaker 7: What is Maine? Live across from my parents' graves? Wow?
- 34:01Speaker 6: Okay, from Maine? What's the population?
- 34:05Speaker 3: Oh?
- 34:05Speaker 6: I see what you did, and so what brings you
- 34:10Speaker 6: to Israel?
- 34:11Speaker 7: Well, I'm here to interview Ambassador Mike Cuckabee.
- 34:13Speaker 6: You'll know Ambassador Mike Cuckabee very well. Actually you know
- 34:16Speaker 6: him a lot from where you know him.
- 34:18Speaker 8: And I also have no idea who he is, like
- 34:19Speaker 8: at all, Like I barely even know who that is.
- 34:21Speaker 8: I don't even know who he is. And so I'm
