- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the sub good it sting together?
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please don't join join me. You gotta use that turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you are you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn out to turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back. Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: show will good morning everybody, y'all listening to the bars,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now wanting on it. Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, Man on Man on man, grateful
- 2:13Speaker 1: for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: didn't really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, Um, can I share something with y'all? I
- 2:23Speaker 1: started out to Finally I had gotten on track and
- 2:27Speaker 1: was able to see a way to even pursue my dream.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me let me put
- 2:47Speaker 1: it together because I got so much running through my
- 2:49Speaker 1: head right now. You know, it's it's one thing to
- 2:52Speaker 1: accomplish your dream, but there's joy in the process of
- 2:58Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
- 3:03Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,
- 3:09Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
- 3:15Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
- 3:19Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
- 3:24Speaker 1: than the average person to know what it is you
- 3:27Speaker 1: really want to do. To find your work in life,
- 3:32Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:36Speaker 1: go in is such a blessing. The average person, if
- 3:40Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:44Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:46Speaker 1: you're looking at you think God it going on because
- 3:49Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
- 3:53Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:55Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
- 3:59Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:04Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:07Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
- 4:10Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:14Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And in that blessing you must recognize it as a blessing.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
- 4:31Speaker 1: right side, and that there should be a sense of
- 4:34Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
- 4:38Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
- 4:42Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
- 4:45Speaker 1: so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even look up
- 4:49Speaker 1: and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're trying to
- 4:53Speaker 1: get here, but Steve hold on, man, can't you see
- 4:56Speaker 1: what you've done so far? Can't you find just some
- 4:59Speaker 1: joy in the process. See, a lot of us lose
- 5:03Speaker 1: the joy of the blessings God has given us because
- 5:06Speaker 1: we're looking at the end. Tomot, I ain't there yet.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You on your way. I'm gonna give you an example.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I had a friend who told me that they wanted
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be a million now, and they asked me some
- 5:18Speaker 1: questions and I told him, so they started the process,
- 5:22Speaker 1: And I am telling you, this dude works extremely hard.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So about a year later we were talking. He had
- 5:34Speaker 1: found this business, he had set his goal, and he
- 5:40Speaker 1: was working towards it. Then about two years later I
- 5:43Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
- 5:45Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man. Really really appreciate the advice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man. You
- 6:01Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? Been two years now.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And I didn't say that to him, but I said
- 6:07Speaker 1: to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man, I've been
- 6:10Speaker 1: grinding so long. Man, it's just it ain't having it
- 6:12Speaker 1: from me. I said, wait a minute, man, hold on,
- 6:15Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you're making right
- 6:18Speaker 1: now a year? Man, about two hundred and fifty thousand.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
- 6:28Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you're
- 6:34Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, Man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You don't bought a house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: the house. I really won't. Ohoa Pardner, whoa, I got that?
- 6:52Speaker 1: I got that house. You really won't make Mike call
- 6:56Speaker 1: five eight million. I don't know, but man, y'all gotta
- 6:59Speaker 1: hig you're making a payments, you drive it. You ain't
- 7:02Speaker 1: out no more. I said, hold on, man, you got
- 7:04Speaker 1: to stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you coming across as real
- 7:09Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. And so he said, man, why are
- 7:11Speaker 1: you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't
- 7:14Speaker 1: nobody want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man,
- 7:16Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:20Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:23Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:27Speaker 1: that you are on your weight, and you are in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals. And can you not
- 7:32Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:36Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:42Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
- 7:44Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 7:46Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So
- 7:50Speaker 1: he said eventually, a man, I kind of see what
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 7:55Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:00Speaker 1: How you're doing, man, Man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
- 8:04Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that? I said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
- 8:09Speaker 1: on some hard times. Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:15Speaker 1: about it. I said, Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:20Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:23Speaker 1: to be to start over. Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you can't do yourself like this again. First you wasn't
- 8:28Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:31Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:33Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. Maybe God said, okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way?
- 8:42Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
- 8:44Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your weight,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it because he will let you
- 8:48Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
- 8:51Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way you want
- 8:53Speaker 1: to it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 8:58Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:00Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:04Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:06Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and now he right back where it was. So what
- 9:12Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is. Because like life,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Still I still believe it could have been worse. And
- 9:26Speaker 1: now that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 9:31Speaker 1: If you are on that side of life where you
- 9:33Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
- 9:35Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
- 9:45Speaker 1: throw yourself off to cliff. It's gonna be all right.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
- 9:52Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. You're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gymen. May I have your attention please to

- 11:01Speaker 1: my mind. I'm gonna be flat in my house, okay
- 11:06Speaker 1: you yeah, yeah, dog. I'm just kind of looking raggedy
- 11:10Speaker 1: every day. Every day I'm dressing up this Friday. I know,

- 11:41Speaker 1: We're gonna be extra yeah no, no, no no, I'm
- 11:45Speaker 1: matching up the warm up stuff. I'm laying this stuff
- 11:50Speaker 1: out like like he's supposed to be shocked. I had
- 11:53Speaker 1: a couple really cool lass outfits, so, you know, been
- 11:56Speaker 1: kind of proud of him, a little little my son
- 11:59Speaker 1: see me, they're gonna damn, Dad, you're stepping up the
- 12:02Speaker 1: warm because I wasn't really feeling these new warm up
- 12:05Speaker 1: pants that's tight around the ankles. Yeah, I wasn't because
- 12:08Speaker 1: you know, I'm used to being a little zippers at
- 12:10Speaker 1: the bottom of the leg, you know. And I put
- 12:15Speaker 1: on a pad of other day throw back. My son
- 12:20Speaker 1: saw me and laid in the gym flow last. I said,
- 12:24Speaker 1: if you don't get your black ass, he said, Dad, Dad,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you can't rock that no more. Come ye. So I've
- 12:33Speaker 1: been buying stuff from under Armo, from Champion, Nike, Adidas,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you know, all the workout Yeah, let it come. So
- 12:44Speaker 1: I had to wear the figuring it out. I figured
- 12:47Speaker 1: it out straight across the top. I'm just win tops.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That's all I'm wining. So that's it. I ain't no bottom.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm not gonna assie. I'm straight ass out timing as
- 12:59Speaker 1: completely like dot. Don't look down because you when you
- 13:06Speaker 1: get a pizza delivery, when you get eye level, stick
- 13:09Speaker 1: the pizza and the don't move on go on somewhere
- 13:13Speaker 1: a little boy, sir, just lay the pizza down and
- 13:18Speaker 1: walk away. Here's what you're seeing. Here's plenty of those
- 13:24Speaker 1: TV anchors got caught with no bottoms on, and yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 1: oh they're all doing it, man, So I don't know,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you might will rethink that, all right? Coming up at
- 13:35Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the cello. The
- 13:38Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: for ask the cello. This one cello is from Kim
- 13:51Speaker 1: and Harlem. She says, I'm a thirty seven year old
- 13:53Speaker 1: single woman and listening to Uncle Steve is my therapy.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I used to love threesome, second clubs and wild. I
- 14:05Speaker 1: used to Yeah, then one day Uncle Steve said, you
- 14:08Speaker 1: can't invite sin into your home and try to control it.
- 14:13Speaker 1: A lightbulb went off for me and I stopped being promiscuous.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Now I want a man all to myself and have
- 14:20Speaker 1: a normal life, but I have no idea how to
- 14:22Speaker 1: act around a normal, decent guy. I'm used to low
- 14:25Speaker 1: lives and slick talkers, so that's what I attract, Uncle Steve.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Is it possible to retrain my brain age love? Absolutely?
- 14:36Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to get it right. That's right.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Do you realize that you can make mistake after mistake
- 14:43Speaker 1: after mistake and God will allow you to get up
- 14:46Speaker 1: chance after chance. Man, if it wasn't for those chances
- 14:50Speaker 1: and grace, or none of us would be standing here. Hello.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You can retrain your brain. All you got to do
- 14:58Speaker 1: is ask God to help you. It's as simple as that. Look,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I want to be better. Meet a lady. There are
- 15:06Speaker 1: lots of women out there who are classy. Meet some
- 15:11Speaker 1: classy women. Go to church, go down to the join
- 15:15Speaker 1: some organization. Find classy women and talk to him about
- 15:19Speaker 1: what your problem was that you feel safe around, and
- 15:22Speaker 1: share with him and let classy women tell you how
- 15:24Speaker 1: to do that. I can't really teach a woman how
- 15:27Speaker 1: to be a woman. So I'm not gonna pretend that.
- 15:29Speaker 1: But if you go around some classy women, they'll share class.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You don't even have to ask. They just classic in
- 15:35Speaker 1: a judgment free zone, is what you Yeah, because everyone
- 15:39Speaker 1: has a past. But if you're backslide, you know this
- 15:45Speaker 1: one's from Darrel and hold what the boy be? What
- 15:49Speaker 1: is he talking about? Tommy? Boy? About Tommy? Yeah? He
- 15:53Speaker 1: talking about itself? Yeah, and just says Daryl and Topeka, Kansas,
- 16:03Speaker 1: Kansas says, my girlfriend and I have been together for
- 16:06Speaker 1: two years and we're perfect together. But she loves to
- 16:09Speaker 1: smoke weed. She first tried weed with her sister's husband
- 16:13Speaker 1: a year ago, and she smokes daily now. Her sister
- 16:16Speaker 1: and I don't smoke, so it bothers me when my
- 16:19Speaker 1: girlfriend goes off with her sister's husband to smoke in
- 16:23Speaker 1: the garage or closed up in the car with him.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I have a problem with her being high and alone
- 16:28Speaker 1: with him, But she says, I'm overthinking it. Do you
- 16:31Speaker 1: think he's smoking with her because he's attracted to her?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Or do you think they're just doing it for the
- 16:36Speaker 1: love of weeds? Brother? May's you a question, man, Ain't
- 16:39Speaker 1: you attracted to her. Let me ask you another question. Dog. Now,
- 16:46Speaker 1: this is your girlfriend's sister's husband, right, you've seen your
- 16:56Speaker 1: girlfriend's sister. Do it makes sense to you that he
- 17:03Speaker 1: would be attracted to your girl? M That's all I
- 17:09Speaker 1: got to say. They all out in the car together.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I would think that his girl would have a problem
- 17:16Speaker 1: with that. And I'm pretty sure you have a problem
- 17:19Speaker 1: with it. And if you're overthinking it, what what? What?
- 17:23Speaker 1: What is overthinking? Why you out there? Smokers wet every
- 17:27Speaker 1: day every day? Now you just now you just they
- 17:34Speaker 1: just weed smokers. Okay, but but do you have to
- 17:39Speaker 1: have a partner to smoke? You don't time to time
- 17:43Speaker 1: talk to But the weed I smoked, I have partners.
- 17:46Speaker 1: They are there alone. But once I started smoking, partners appear,
- 17:51Speaker 1: so I don't. But it's legal in LA in the
- 17:56Speaker 1: air with smoking. See and this and Jay, this is
- 18:01Speaker 1: what's crazy. Man. I've never ever smoked weed. I never good.
- 18:08Speaker 1: It's good. I tingle now, So if you wanted to no,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean, I don't knock people who do it. It
- 18:14Speaker 1: don't make me better. That's for damn show. I just said. Wait,
- 18:19Speaker 1: the last thing I need is something all to my behavior.
- 18:24Speaker 1: We don't want you high, you don't handle you. I'm
- 18:32Speaker 1: good when i'm low, all right. This one's from k
- 18:38Speaker 1: J in Southfield, Michigan. I'm a forty three year old
- 18:41Speaker 1: single woman and I have been working from home since April.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I used to order everything I needed and had it delivered,
- 18:48Speaker 1: including groceries. I always got my groceries on Thursdays so
- 18:52Speaker 1: I could get the same delivery guy. He was handsome
- 18:55Speaker 1: and I enjoyed flirting with him. The flirting led to sex,
- 18:59Speaker 1: and it was amazing sex. But then he got a
- 19:02Speaker 1: new job, so I didn't see him anymore. My office
- 19:06Speaker 1: opened up on July fifteenth and I had to report
- 19:09Speaker 1: to work. I was shocked to see that my delivery
- 19:12Speaker 1: guy is our new intern. Wow, surprise, surprise. I found
- 19:18Speaker 1: out he's only twenty four and he lives at home
- 19:21Speaker 1: with his parents. We flirt a lot at work, and
- 19:23Speaker 1: he wants to do me in my office. But I'm scared.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You only live once, so should I have fun at work? Yeah?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Go ahead, throw your whole life out to Bundy with
- 19:34Speaker 1: this damn intern slash delivery boy. Yeah go ahead, lady, Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 1: go ahead. Y'all ain't got nowhere else You can go
- 19:43Speaker 1: other than your job and run the risk of throwing
- 19:46Speaker 1: your career out the work getting caught. Yeah, lady three,
- 19:51Speaker 1: he wants to do you at work because he the intern.
- 19:54Speaker 1: He wanted to do you at your house because he
- 19:56Speaker 1: was the delivery boy. He ain't got nothing to lose,
- 20:00Speaker 1: but this in her office. They're gonna close the door
- 20:05Speaker 1: because this is something different. You can't I mean your office,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and you have to come up. This is how he
- 20:12Speaker 1: gonna come up. He like the office off. I'm glad
- 20:20Speaker 1: you're the clo Steve. I'm so glad. I can't. Nobody can't.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Nobody had a face mashed up against the wind and
- 20:26Speaker 1: the I'm so with you. You changed out since you
- 20:33Speaker 1: got family, feel you just be for changing Steve. Yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: and Jesus, after he got the internship and lost his job,
- 20:47Speaker 1: he didn't reach out to her. But get out of
- 20:49Speaker 1: here with this. Don't lose her job. Yeah, she's coming

- 21:57Speaker 1: can't just call my house and tell me my daughter bitch.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Same be cussing at me, lady. I just said, your
- 22:02Speaker 1: daughter Sakia bit my son Joshua in the back, and
- 22:05Speaker 1: I just let no. I just said no. Two things.
- 22:08Speaker 1: One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody, and two, don't call
- 22:10Speaker 1: my house with this tone. I called with any kind
- 22:13Speaker 1: of tone. What I want to call with. All I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: saying is your daughter then bit my son in the back.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you. I'm saying is don't call
- 22:21Speaker 1: my house with this attitude saying some that my daughter

- 23:25Speaker 1: Don't make no difference. If a mama or daddy called
- 23:27Speaker 1: long with somebody called hello, call her back? Hello? Is
- 23:32Speaker 1: this Carol? This is why you ain't up on me?
- 23:36Speaker 1: Why are you still calling me? And why are you
- 23:38Speaker 1: yelling at me? My child didn't bite your child in
- 23:41Speaker 1: the back. When I picked up my child. They didn't

- 28:13Speaker 1: perfect time, perfect time trying to go back. Thirdly, strange,
- 28:21Speaker 1: anybody I can prank? You know. I used to say
- 28:23Speaker 1: my brother because he can go tell to tell with
- 28:26Speaker 1: you in the custom if I call Fish about one
- 28:28Speaker 1: of his cakes, because we know he cooks some amazing
- 28:32Speaker 1: If I called about his cakes and say it was

- 29:09Speaker 1: Oh oh, Cliff, don't give a damn about coming up.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here, guys, coming up. At
- 29:15Speaker 1: the top of the hour. There is a recall on
- 29:17Speaker 1: certain hand sanitizers. Plus Missanna's gonna have national news and uh,
- 29:22Speaker 1: we'll be right back with all of that entertainment and
- 29:25Speaker 1: national news right after this. You're listening to show. Well,
- 29:31Speaker 1: there's been a recall on hand sanitizers. The FDA is
- 29:35Speaker 1: warning consumers and healthcare providers that certain hand sanitizers are
- 29:39Speaker 1: labeled to contain ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, but
- 29:43Speaker 1: they have tested positive from methanol contamination, which could be
- 29:47Speaker 1: toxic upon contact on the skin or if you ingest it,
- 29:52Speaker 1: So please read the labels and make sure that you
- 29:56Speaker 1: know your hand sanitizer doesn't have these ingredients on them
- 30:00Speaker 1: if they're listed hand. Yes, we don't know what was
- 30:06Speaker 1: what's good, what it ain't good? Damn? What's the next
- 30:14Speaker 1: recalled toilet paper? We're just living in crazy times right now,
- 30:18Speaker 1: just crazy. Yeah, they call it recalling toilet paper. They're
- 30:22Speaker 1: producing a certain brand. I can't tell you which one
- 30:25Speaker 1: it is, but a lot of severe paper cuts. Oh
- 30:30Speaker 1: on your own you yeah, yeah, that's where everybody crazy. Yes,
- 30:46Speaker 1: they got that razor blade called toilet paper over there.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You don't want that one now, all right? And other
- 30:53Speaker 1: entertainment news. Dray Michelle was dragged on social media recently
- 30:57Speaker 1: when she choked about Mega Stallion being shot in the
- 30:59Speaker 1: foot by Tory Lane. Even Megan the Stallion herself tweeted
- 31:03Speaker 1: about how wrong Drea was for making light of the situation.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Drea is back to tracking and apologizing now, saying, quote,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I truly don't glorify domestic violence. I was trying to say,
- 31:14Speaker 1: just love me deeply, but while trying to be funny,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I offended many, including Meg and I'm sorry. So there's
- 31:22Speaker 1: her age she's a reality star and an actress. Yeah
- 31:33Speaker 1: all right, So moving on, Carlo is here with music news.
- 31:37Speaker 1: What you got Carla? All right? So guys, the verses
- 31:41Speaker 1: battle the other night for the dogs. It was the
- 31:44Speaker 1: Battle of the Dogs DMX and Snoop Dog. It went down.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It was so good. But I don't know. Everybody was
- 31:52Speaker 1: saying it was a tie. Yeah, that's what everybody said.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I saw that it was good. It was good. Yea, yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 1: X we talk what I really walked from them? What
- 32:03Speaker 1: they really want from a brother? Y? Yeah, yeah, I
- 32:08Speaker 1: do too. I love Dr Max. They were just some
- 32:09Speaker 1: hip hop legends just having a good time, you know,
- 32:13Speaker 1: doing all their hits and just battling each other. But
- 32:16Speaker 1: you have music, girl, though, who really won? It was
- 32:19Speaker 1: a time, It's a time. I keep at win that
- 32:25Speaker 1: they got the same amount of hits. Yeah, rough riders,
- 32:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah X. I thought Snoop. I thought Snoop had
- 32:34Speaker 1: more hits. I'm just I just that's just me. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: thought Snoop and I love DMX, but I thought, I mean,
- 32:39Speaker 1: if you're get one, maybe Snoop does have more. But
- 32:44Speaker 1: I'm just yeah, DMX got Snoop in crime. I don't
- 32:50Speaker 1: know Jay, it might be a le once you've been
- 32:55Speaker 1: on trial for murder. That's pretty much top dog on that.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Since we battle a dog and I got on, Robbie,
- 33:08Speaker 1: I got I got a salting battery, I got murder.
- 33:12Speaker 1: All right, okay, okay, right there, We're gonna get you
- 33:15Speaker 1: out that one. Yeah, yeah, okay, cool, Yeah, everybody said that. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: all right, Carla, thank you, Yeah, all right, Steve. Time
- 33:28Speaker 1: for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, thank you,
- 33:32Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is a trip well. President trusts
- 33:35Speaker 1: big plans for next month or no more. The illness
- 33:38Speaker 1: that so many of his supporters insisted was only made
- 33:40Speaker 1: up to keep him from being reelected is to blame
- 33:44Speaker 1: and what amounts to a major reversal. The President now
- 33:46Speaker 1: says it wouldn't be right to hold his plan big
- 33:48Speaker 1: GOP nominating convention in Jacksonville, Florida, next month. The timing
- 33:52Speaker 1: for this event is not right, just not right with
- 33:55Speaker 1: what's happened recently, the flare up in Florida. To have
- 33:59Speaker 1: a big convention, it's not the right time. You may
- 34:02Speaker 1: remember that Trump moves his party's convention from North Carolina
- 34:05Speaker 1: to Florida, after the governor of the tar Hill state
- 34:07Speaker 1: expressed reservations about hosting such an event in light of
- 34:10Speaker 1: the coronavirus. But now COVID nineteen cases of skyrocketing in Florida.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Delegates to the convention, though we'll still meet in Charlotte,
- 34:17Speaker 1: North Carolina, the whole small business meetings, but Trump's keynote
- 34:21Speaker 1: acceptance speech on stage in Jacksonville will not take place.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Speaking of which, Florida reported more than ten thousand corona
- 34:27Speaker 1: infections yesterday and for about the seventh straight day, putting
- 34:31Speaker 1: the Sunshine State behind only California and New York in
- 34:34Speaker 1: total cases, with close to three hundred and ninety thousand
- 34:37Speaker 1: people testing positive. However, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez says that
- 34:42Speaker 1: with people wearing masks and social distancing and stuff, numbers
- 34:45Speaker 1: seem to be coming down in his city. Not long ago,
- 34:47Speaker 1: he says the city was seeing about one hundred and
- 34:49Speaker 1: twenty five cases of COVID a day. He says that
- 34:52Speaker 1: numbers down to about twenty five daily of the radio increasing,
- 34:58Speaker 1: which means that the curve. Mayor Suarez says much of
- 35:02Speaker 1: the spread now as among people who live in multigenerational households.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Those folks have to be very, very careful. At the
- 35:09Speaker 1: same time, the President Trump has been crowing about his
- 35:11Speaker 1: plans to send more federal agents into American cities. The
- 35:15Speaker 1: US Justice Departments Inspector General says a review was underway
- 35:18Speaker 1: into the conduct of those federal agents sent into Portland, Oregon,
- 35:22Speaker 1: and Washington, DC accused of excessive violence and racism. The
- 35:26Speaker 1: watchdog says that all look into allegations of excessive use
- 35:29Speaker 1: of force in Portland, where flash grenades and other harsh
- 35:33Speaker 1: measures to disperse crowds of Black Lives Matter protesters, even
- 35:36Speaker 1: tear gassing the mayor of Portland. The mayor was tear
- 35:39Speaker 1: gas the other day. House of Representatives has voted to
- 35:43Speaker 1: remove the statutes of Confederate generals and other proponents of
- 35:46Speaker 1: slavery and segregation from Capitol Hill grounds. The Democratic majority
- 35:49Speaker 1: joined by seventy two Republicans in approving that bill. How
- 35:52Speaker 1: Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the sculptures pay homage to hate
- 35:55Speaker 1: and not heritage. Finally, six days of ceremonies begin tomorrow
- 36:01Speaker 1: to honor the late Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis.
- 36:04Speaker 1: There's to be a service Saturday at Detroit University in
- 36:07Speaker 1: his native Alabama. His body lies in repose and sell
- 36:10Speaker 1: my Alabama, before procession brings his body to the Edmund
- 36:13Speaker 1: Pettis Bridge. Sunday, his body lies and proposed at the
- 36:16Speaker 1: Alabama State Capitol. Then he's brought to the US Capital
- 36:19Speaker 1: to lie, repose and a service tribute to the Capitol.
- 36:22Speaker 1: After that is in Southview Cemetery in Atlanta, where he
- 36:26Speaker 1: will be laid to rest. Back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening Stry Morning Show. All right, So
- 36:34Speaker 1: Jay I is here as he always here is he
- 36:37Speaker 1: brought a murder the hit with them? What you got
- 36:39Speaker 1: this time? Jack? When I did today was a little different.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I have three snippets of songs and I want the
- 36:45Speaker 1: people to vote on which song I should finish. We
- 36:49Speaker 1: have three snippets of songs, went into the studio, did
- 36:53Speaker 1: three snippets. Could you play the three snippets in Carlin Hotel?
- 36:56Speaker 1: People who are to vote on which one I should finish?

- 37:56Speaker 1: You need to leave politics alone because you're coming on
- 38:00Speaker 1: like a real dumb brother. Okay, that's okay. Hold on,
- 38:09Speaker 1: and this one is number three. Hitting ain't on fun
- 38:13Speaker 1: times for until this virus those away, you know, fun
- 38:25Speaker 1: time sports ain't on and lebron top hair is gone

- 39:14Speaker 1: the j B. You never really had a back, and
- 39:19Speaker 1: that's a back and really need the marls up our
- 39:21Speaker 1: country back. So take a tip from me, j B.
- 39:24Speaker 1: With other lines, You're done, We could not believe. Don't

- 39:47Speaker 1: coming up in thirty four minutes after the hours, Donald
- 39:50Speaker 1: Trump responded to Joe Biden, labeling him as the first
- 39:53Speaker 1: racist president. We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening,
- 39:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, during a virtual town hall
- 40:03Speaker 1: meeting with former Vice President Joe Biden hosted by the
- 40:06Speaker 1: Service Employee Industry Union, an Asian healthcare worker who immigrated
- 40:11Speaker 1: from South Korea said she had been racially profiled by
- 40:15Speaker 1: white Americans at the supermarket. Joe Biden said he was
- 40:18Speaker 1: so angry to hear about her experience, and he referred
- 40:21Speaker 1: to Donald Trump, calling COVID nineteen the China virus. Mister
- 40:25Speaker 1: Biden went on to say that Donald Trump is the
- 40:29Speaker 1: first racist to win the presidency. Take a listen. No
- 40:33Speaker 1: sitting president has ever done this, never, never, never, No
- 40:37Speaker 1: Republican president has done this, No Democratic president. We've have
- 40:41Speaker 1: racist and they've existed. They've tried to get elected president.
- 40:44Speaker 1: He's the first one that had whoa Biden is to
- 40:53Speaker 1: do because he from Boston. He gonna bring it. He
- 40:58Speaker 1: played his game at you mane. Well okay, So so
- 41:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump responded to Biden's labeling him as the first
- 41:05Speaker 1: racist president. Take a listen, and maybe most importantly or
- 41:08Speaker 1: you look at criminal justice reform, you look at prison reform.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I've done things that nobody else. And I've said this,
- 41:15Speaker 1: and I said openly, and not a lot of people
- 41:17Speaker 1: dispute it. I've done more for Black Americans than anybody,
- 41:22Speaker 1: with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln. Oh you got
- 41:27Speaker 1: to be kidding. Yeah, Hold dog, is this dude for real?
- 41:37Speaker 1: He's never said he wasn't a racist either. He didn't
- 41:39Speaker 1: say that either. I've done more for Black Americans than
- 41:43Speaker 1: anyone except Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves. I guess
- 41:51Speaker 1: that's what he's well, of course that's what he says.
- 41:54Speaker 1: So he forgot about the moves that JF came. He
- 42:00Speaker 1: forgot about what Lyndon Baine Johnson was doing on behalf
- 42:05Speaker 1: of Marta Luther King. He forgot. But then he don't
- 42:09Speaker 1: know his history. So and why why would you expect
- 42:12Speaker 1: him to Mark, he never knew. No, he didn't, never knew,
- 42:16Speaker 1: never cared. He did, he did, he did. He doesn't
- 42:18Speaker 1: know history. You've done nothing for black Americans. Zero. I'm waiting,
- 42:25Speaker 1: what did he do? Prison reform ain't for Black Americans.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Prison reform was for your political advancement. You didn't do
- 42:33Speaker 1: that for pardoning. You got to be kidding me, man,
- 42:39Speaker 1: that that ain't what you did. And those pardons started
- 42:44Speaker 1: when Obama was leaving and he started releasing people with
- 42:49Speaker 1: with a super trumped up charges for drug related cases.
- 42:53Speaker 1: That started with Obama. Dog this, dude right here, I've
- 42:57Speaker 1: done more for Black America. You ain't done. I can't
- 43:00Speaker 1: think of any Well, anything he's done was for political purposes.
- 43:05Speaker 1: It was not for black people. Well in his mind,
- 43:12Speaker 1: he thinks that he's done a lot for black people
- 43:15Speaker 1: like that, and that's when you say, in his man,
- 43:19Speaker 1: it's a lot in now that you First of all,
- 43:25Speaker 1: first of all, let's tell the truth the thing that
- 43:29Speaker 1: you've done for black people. Let's talk about prisoner form.
- 43:32Speaker 1: You're talking about just prisoners. You all still are not
- 43:35Speaker 1: clear on people with records whether they can vote. So
- 43:40Speaker 1: you didn't give a damn if they got out or not.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Half of them can't vote, and you have these laws
- 43:46Speaker 1: in place that prevented them, that prevent them from voting
- 43:49Speaker 1: for a period of time, and it's not clear of
- 43:51Speaker 1: how they get their records are set up so they
- 43:54Speaker 1: can vote. So you all already the Republicans know this
- 43:58Speaker 1: game right here, you know, get place to vote. Since
- 44:02Speaker 1: you've been in office than any president saying we should.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I mean, suppression is rampant because of you. Yeah, we've
- 44:08Speaker 1: said that, you know recently on the show, we talk
- 44:11Speaker 1: about that absolutely, Jack, I guess you're resending Obamacare. Trying
- 44:16Speaker 1: to resend Obama. I guess that was for black people
- 44:20Speaker 1: during a pandemic, during the public health crisis. Try to
- 44:23Speaker 1: say health's here, solved this whole thing. Go down any Martin,
- 44:27Speaker 1: Luther King and walk in black people out and see
- 44:29Speaker 1: how they feel you walk into how much you've done
- 44:34Speaker 1: for black people. Well, we want we want you guys
- 44:39Speaker 1: to give this. We want you guys to register to vote. Okay,
- 44:43Speaker 1: go to when we all vote dot org. And coming
- 44:47Speaker 1: up next, the Nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show coming up at
- 44:56Speaker 1: the top, of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
- 44:58Speaker 1: it's today's Strawberry Better the subject I have a rat
- 45:04Speaker 1: in the basement. Check out my letter today. Okay, subject
- 45:09Speaker 1: I have a rat in the basement. But first, nephew
- 45:12Speaker 1: Tommy is here with today's praying phone call. What you
- 45:14Speaker 1: got for his nap? Go big, oh go home? Let
- 45:22Speaker 1: me say that one more time. Go bg oh, go
- 45:32Speaker 1: go big or go home. Let's go cat dog. Here
- 45:37Speaker 1: it is, y'all. Take a listen. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 45:40Speaker 1: to reach Darnel, Darnell. Let's see this, Darnell. How you doing?
- 45:44Speaker 1: This is Scott with Bigger, Bigger and Better, where we
- 45:48Speaker 1: make you larger in charge. How are you doing today? Scott? Who?
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm Scott and I'm with Bigger and Better where we
- 45:56Speaker 1: make you larger in charge. I'm good, Scott. What's up?
- 46:00Speaker 1: We were actually, uh given a phone call by your
- 46:03Speaker 1: wife your wife is is that correct? Yeah? Okay, well,
- 46:08Speaker 1: um you know your wife's um Your wife's birthday is
- 46:11Speaker 1: coming up pretty soon, is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so
- 46:14Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. Yeah, it's coming up. Okay. Have
- 46:17Speaker 1: you have you decided on getting or anything or have
- 46:20Speaker 1: you purchased anything yet. No, No, I got a couple
- 46:23Speaker 1: of days in mind. Um well, actually, uh we got
- 46:26Speaker 1: a call from from I think, Um, we've got something
- 46:30Speaker 1: that's gonna that's gonna really help you guys. And and
- 46:35Speaker 1: something I think that she wanted to recommend that something
- 46:38Speaker 1: that you probably wouldn't wouldn't think about getting. All right,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I'm all is okay and racking my brain. So I'm
- 46:44Speaker 1: on is actually gave us a call. She's actually had
- 46:48Speaker 1: an idea, you know, what she would really really like
- 46:51Speaker 1: for her birthday present. So what's her name? You're company
- 46:54Speaker 1: Bigger and Better. Um, like I said, she calls you.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry, she called called you to give me a
- 47:02Speaker 1: deal on what I should get her for her birthday. Uh. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 1: well this is this is something that's a little a
- 47:08Speaker 1: little different than something that you probably would never in
- 47:10Speaker 1: a million years think of. But here at Bigger and Better,
- 47:13Speaker 1: where we make you large and in charge, we actually
- 47:16Speaker 1: do some things that we definitely know you wouldn't have
- 47:19Speaker 1: thought of. So I definitely understand her. Given what's your
- 47:23Speaker 1: name against Sam Scott, Scott Scott, get to the point
- 47:27Speaker 1: what you're selling. Actually, let us know that there's some
- 47:31Speaker 1: things that are really really lacking between you guys, and
- 47:36Speaker 1: she would very much like for her birthday where you
- 47:39Speaker 1: can be a lot more well endowed. So you know
- 47:42Speaker 1: that's what we do here at Bigger and Beat. We
- 47:45Speaker 1: actually hello, what I could be more? What? More? Well
- 47:49Speaker 1: and doubt? Sir? So I think really what's going on
- 47:51Speaker 1: is Bianca's really not satisfied right now. She called you
- 47:55Speaker 1: to tell you that I'm not when you meet willing
- 47:58Speaker 1: doubt my junk. You're you're you're you're you're you're inadequate.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You know what I mean? You're you're Uh. I guess
- 48:05Speaker 1: maybe maybe very impotent. I'm not sure, but are you
- 48:08Speaker 1: kidding me? What's the name of this comping in Bigger
- 48:12Speaker 1: and Better where we make you larger in charging? Right now?
- 48:16Speaker 1: You know you're not You're not larger in charge, and
- 48:18Speaker 1: we want to get you to that way you're able
- 48:20Speaker 1: to come in for a consultation, good consultation. I'll tell

- 49:26Speaker 1: you know what? And and and once again, I'm trying.

- 50:00Speaker 1: and you're just doing your job. If they're trying to

- 50:20Speaker 1: What what is this any like? Bigger? Huh? What kind
- 50:23Speaker 1: of job is that? How do you even get a
- 50:25Speaker 1: job like that? You apply for this job, idiot, when
- 50:28Speaker 1: you're a high school drop out. I'm trying to stop
- 50:33Speaker 1: calling me, man, mister Darnell, I'm still trying to help
- 50:36Speaker 1: you get through this situation. Okay, are you willing to
- 50:39Speaker 1: come in for a consultation. At least we're coming in

- 51:00Speaker 1: of the day, sir. What I want to do is
- 51:02Speaker 1: get you lined up with get your call my wife.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I don't need no damn procedures. Give me your info,
- 51:08Speaker 1: and you got to work out here from us. No more. Okay,

- 51:22Speaker 1: you know what I'm trying to persons a little small guy.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to help you with your problem. Now, if
- 51:28Speaker 1: you're not gonna be appreciative of it. Then I don't
- 51:30Speaker 1: even understand why your wife knows you're having your address.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Why then we can have this conversation face to face.
- 51:35Speaker 1: You don't know what why your wife call here. It
- 51:37Speaker 1: doesn't matter. If I can get on the line, I
- 51:39Speaker 1: can figure out why she calls you, because you're coming
- 51:42Speaker 1: adequate many sir, sir, here's the problem. You're tiny and
- 51:47Speaker 1: you don't want to admit it. I ain't even getting
- 51:49Speaker 1: you know me, man, You never see me. You don't
- 51:51Speaker 1: know anything about me. I can't even believe my wife's
- 51:54Speaker 1: even called you. But just this is just how you
- 51:57Speaker 1: do business. You call me and call me up tiny, sir.
- 52:00Speaker 1: So I'm little playing something to you. I'm not only
- 52:02Speaker 1: the president, but I'm also a client, sir. I don't
- 52:05Speaker 1: give up what you are? Okay, okay, then there are
- 52:08Speaker 1: some other things that let us know as well. What
- 52:10Speaker 1: the would that mean? She also wanted me to tell
- 52:13Speaker 1: you that this is nephew Tommy from Steve Harvey. More
- 52:16Speaker 1: than it show. Your wife just playing phone called you bad. Man.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Ain't funny, man. I'm here over here looking at up
- 52:27Speaker 1: in the mirror. It's kind of I thought I was good,
- 52:31Speaker 1: but I got a little nervous. I was like, man,
- 52:34Speaker 1: what's the baddest radio show in the land? Come on now,
- 52:38Speaker 1: you know it's a Steve Harvey radio show. Man. You
- 52:44Speaker 1: know you got a big ego, you know, but you ain't.
- 52:47Speaker 1: You ain't big as your ego. You know. He sounded
- 52:50Speaker 1: small on the phone. He sounded you gotta large it up, pale.
- 53:00Speaker 1: That was hard for him to accept a time. It
- 53:02Speaker 1: was hard, really change really that was way too easy
- 53:11Speaker 1: accept an any of you stiffing up? Yeah. Uh, these
- 53:19Speaker 1: two fools right now they just be cracking each other.
- 53:25Speaker 1: I'm talking about laughing hard like that, you know, stop

- 54:25Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject. I
- 54:28Speaker 1: have a rat in the basement, all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. Wow,
- 54:35Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty eight year old man
- 54:38Speaker 1: and my wife and I have a twenty three year
- 54:40Speaker 1: old daughter that graduated from college and she moved back home.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She asked her room, She asked her mom and I
- 54:48Speaker 1: if her schoolmates could live in our basement for three months.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I was hesitant, but my wife coo co erged me
- 54:55Speaker 1: to let the young man stay temporarily. He was polite
- 54:59Speaker 1: at first, but then he started coming upstairs and trying
- 55:02Speaker 1: to engage with our family. We have a microwave and
- 55:05Speaker 1: a small fridge in the basement, a full bathroom, a
- 55:08Speaker 1: forty two inch TV, and an entrance from the backyard,
- 55:12Speaker 1: so he should never be upstairs in my house. I
- 55:16Speaker 1: went down to talk to him man to man and
- 55:18Speaker 1: see what his plan was to move out. This boy
- 55:21Speaker 1: had the audacity to ask me if I could knock
- 55:24Speaker 1: before entering. Next time, I was stern and told him
- 55:29Speaker 1: it's my house and I would never knock on any
- 55:32Speaker 1: door I paid for in my house. I had hoped
- 55:35Speaker 1: he got the point, but apparently he didn't. The next night,
- 55:39Speaker 1: it was around midnight and I heard loud music in
- 55:42Speaker 1: the basement, so I went to tell him to turn
- 55:44Speaker 1: it down. I walked in and what I saw made
- 55:48Speaker 1: my eyes burn, and I thought I was going to
- 55:51Speaker 1: pass out. This boy was having sex with my daughter.
- 55:58Speaker 1: It was so loud in there. I had to yell
- 56:01Speaker 1: to get them to notice me. I lunged at him,
- 56:04Speaker 1: but my daughter jumped between us, totally nude, so I
- 56:09Speaker 1: ran out in sheer panic and discussed. My wife was
- 56:14Speaker 1: upset at my daughter for having sex in our home,
- 56:16Speaker 1: but she kept telling me that she's a grown woman now.
- 56:19Speaker 1: A few days later, my daughter told me that she
- 56:22Speaker 1: and the boy have been dating for a year, and
- 56:24Speaker 1: she kept it a secret so I would let him
- 56:27Speaker 1: stay with us. I forgave her, but I want to
- 56:31Speaker 1: put this boy out of my house. How can I
- 56:33Speaker 1: get him away from my daughter without her suspecting anything. Whoo,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I have to think that what's worse the what's worse
- 56:49Speaker 1: than seeing your parents doing it? This is so crazy
- 56:52Speaker 1: I could barely get it out. It's for your parents
- 56:55Speaker 1: to see their kids doing it. I have to think
- 56:57Speaker 1: that's worse. I have to who I mean, both of
- 57:02Speaker 1: them are bad, but oh yeah, that's something I just
- 57:06Speaker 1: don't want to see. But um, what is going on
- 57:09Speaker 1: in your house? I mean, as the dad and man
- 57:13Speaker 1: of the house, I would say you've been doing the
- 57:15Speaker 1: right thing because of your daughter, because she asked you,
- 57:18Speaker 1: and you and your wife was you know, in there
- 57:21Speaker 1: on her side as well. I think you know you've
- 57:24Speaker 1: had him living in your home. You've provided him with
- 57:27Speaker 1: all the necessities in life, including a forty forty two
- 57:30Speaker 1: inch TV, a microwave, a fridge, a full bathroom, all
- 57:35Speaker 1: of that his own entrance. I just say, how ungrateful
- 57:38Speaker 1: and disrespectful of him to ask you to knock when
- 57:42Speaker 1: you come down there, And how sneaky and deceitful of
- 57:47Speaker 1: your daughter. I mean, she should have told you, She
- 57:50Speaker 1: really should have told you, but I guess she didn't
- 57:53Speaker 1: know how Like she said, I know, this is your
- 57:56Speaker 1: baby girl, and everything but she created this, this situation this,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I mean, so your problem is really with her. Your wife,
- 58:03Speaker 1: who wanted to let him stay there at first, sees
- 58:06Speaker 1: it too. Now she's upset with your daughter as well.
- 58:08Speaker 1: And she's right. Yeah, your daughter at twenty three is
- 58:11Speaker 1: a grown woman. But if you don't want her having
- 58:14Speaker 1: sex in your house, that's your business. You have every
- 58:17Speaker 1: right to feel that way. I mean, if she's that grown,
- 58:20Speaker 1: seems like she would have her own place and then
- 58:22Speaker 1: she could have sex as many times as she want
- 58:24Speaker 1: with whomever. But the problem, I think the problems are
- 58:28Speaker 1: gonna come when you try, as you say, to get
- 58:31Speaker 1: him away from your daughter. That's the problems are gonna
- 58:36Speaker 1: definitely come then, because the more you try to push
- 58:38Speaker 1: him away, the more your daughter is going to want
- 58:41Speaker 1: to cling to him. That's always how it works. I think,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you know, maybe you should try, you want to know
- 58:46Speaker 1: how you can do it. Maybe you should try having
- 58:48Speaker 1: a family meeting with you, your wife, your daughter, and
- 58:51Speaker 1: the boyfriend. I don't know, talk about moving forward, talk
- 58:55Speaker 1: about the new living arrangements. You know, if your daughter
- 58:58Speaker 1: wants to do this, clearly she's probably gonna have to
- 59:01Speaker 1: get out and move. They're gonna have to get something together.
- 59:04Speaker 1: You said you forgave your daughter, You're gonna probably, you know,
- 59:07Speaker 1: I don't know have to forgive this guy too, for
- 59:10Speaker 1: since they're dating and going together for a year. I
- 59:13Speaker 1: just say again, please don't talk against this guy, because
- 59:16Speaker 1: that's gonna drive your daughter closer to him and farther
- 59:19Speaker 1: away from you. And I'm sure you don't want that.
- 59:22Speaker 1: This is a mess, and good luck is all I
- 59:26Speaker 1: can say, Steve. I don't give a damn if I'm
- 59:30Speaker 1: talking against him and it's gonna drive you closer. You
- 59:33Speaker 1: fitn't get tucked up under this ass then, Carson, when
- 59:36Speaker 1: I see it going down funky, I'm gonna tell you
- 59:39Speaker 1: about it. Now you're grown. You can do what you
- 59:41Speaker 1: want to do, like you say, but this letter right here. Look,
- 59:45Speaker 1: first of all, i'm a man. You're forty eight years old.
- 59:48Speaker 1: You're twenty three year old. Daughter graduate from college, she
- 59:51Speaker 1: moved back home. She asked if one of her schoolmates
- 59:54Speaker 1: could live in our basement for three months. But I
- 59:57Speaker 1: was hesitating, but my wife coerced me to let young
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: man stay temporarily. Why why this ain't your boy here?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Grown ass man? They then graduated from college here twenty
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: three you're coming to my house. Live where your mamma
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Neil man your ass over to day house. No, man,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you're not coming to live in my house. Dog, I'm
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: telling you, and my wife ain't talking me into that either.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Stay in the basement for three months, Stay at your
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: mama house for three months, give one of your partner's house.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: You're not coming in here. That's for starters when we
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: come back. All the rest of it going down, All right,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you heard him. Part two of Steve's response is coming
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject of
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: today's letter, I have a rat in the basement. We'll
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening morning show.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: subject I have a rat in the base smatch. This
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: man and wife got a twenty three year old daughter
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: to graduated from college. She asked him could one of
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her schoolmates live in the basement for three months? He
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: was hesitant. Your wife core used you, so you let
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the man stay. I disagree with that. He wouldn't stay
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: in my house for three months. I don't give a
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: damn once wrong, but you know things happened, so maybe
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he felt that way. So I ain't mad at you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: for that, all right. He was polite at first, then
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: he started coming upstairs trying to engage without family. Well,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: the reason he was coming upstairs trying to engage with
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: your family because he is engaging with your family. He
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: already engaged with your family. We got a microwave, small
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: for you to the basement, full bathroom for the two
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: inch TV, and entrance from the backyard. So he shouldn't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: be upstairs in your house. These are your rules. It's
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: your house. You absolutely correct. I went down to talk
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to a man to man see what his plan was
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and move out. This boy had to dacity and ask
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: me if I could knock before entering next time. You know,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: you know, and you know, and I'm old school, will
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I'll admit right, you don't ask me a damn thing
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: in my house. You can't ask me nothing. Nobody to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: this day. I don't care if your work a delivery man.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I don't care if you the police. If you come
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to my house, this is my house. Unless you have
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a ward for my arrest, you're gonna get talked too crazy.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Knock before I come downstairs. I was stunned and told
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: him in my house, I'll never knock on any door.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I paid house. Well, you should have knocked the next time,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: because Lord him listened. But I had hoped he got
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: the point, but apparently he didn't. Next night is around midnight.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I heard some loud music in the basement, so I
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: went down there to tell him to turn it down.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I walk in and what I saw made my eyes burned.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna pass out. This boy was
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: having sex you my daughter. God, that's got worse. All
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: of us got daughters on this show. I know they're
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: doing things. I don't want to see it. No ever,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: this boy having sex with my daughter. It was so
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: loud in there. I had to yell to get them
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to notice me. Hey, same man, wow, n sy Eric,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: damn it ni su Eric. I lunged at him, but
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: my daughter jumped in between us. Totally new. Oh god,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I do so I ran out of sheer panic and discuss.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: My wife was upset with my daughter for having sex
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: in our home, but she kept telling me that she's
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: a grown woman. Now, well, if you're a grown woman,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: didn't get the act and grown see what see? You know? Man,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I hate when my kids tell me, but daddy, I'm grown, Okay,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: be grown? Then what you're over here asking me for
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: something fault? Then when I try to talk to you
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: about it? Then you want to throw up in my face.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I'm grown. If your ass has grown, I'm somewhere and
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: get grown. What you're over here talking to me for?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: If you've grown, why is his punk ass in the basement?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: If he grown? If you grown, why is you up
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: stands in the house? See, grown people got their own house.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Grown people make their own rules at their house. Grown
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: people got their own money. Grown people take care of
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: their selves. That's what grown people do. I got it's
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: five grown people on this show. Am I telling a lot?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Not at all, sir? So you know when you're gonna
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: keep running your mouth talking about you a grown woman? Now.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: A few days later, my daughter told me that she
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and the boy have been dating for a year and
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: she kept with a secret. So I let him stay
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: with us. I forgave her, But I do want to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: put this boy out of my house. How could I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: get him away from my daughter without her suspecting anything?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: That's impossible. But see, you ain't got to let her
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: expect anything, put his ass ass out. He got to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: get out your house because he in your house doing
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: stuff like he the man of the house. He having
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: sex in your house. He telling you you got to
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: knock on doors in the house. He playing loud music
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in the house, screwing your daughter in the house, just
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: like he he a grown ass man. You gotta call
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: your grown ass man somewhere else. Part and she can
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: hear me say it. But you've got to get out
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: of here, because it's one king in this castle, not
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: too And I'm the king from the rooftop to the
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: basement and foundation. I'm the king at my house. Ain't
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: no other kings. You got to go, and your daughter
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: shouldn't know that you have the right to set your
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: rules as a man. You ain't gotta hey, man, you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: ain't gotta feel bad for her. And all this foolishness
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: they're talking about. It's gonna make her run to him.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: They having sex already. How much closer she got to run,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: she'd run a slid up under mattered her dad. Though.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: She got me mad. You having sex in my basement

- 1:10:42Speaker 1: in an eight round exhibition fight. And and it's gonna
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: be on Bay per view, which I'm gonna be paying for.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: No good, Michael, what you read about it lay the
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: same day, two different ways, forever nothing. Roy Jones Junior,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: father the light heavyweight. He he did no no, no man,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: no man. But he looked good though. Yeah, I mean
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I can to getting the ring. We won't sports timing.

- 1:11:35Speaker 1: you know the nursing. How old you think I thought
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Roy was? I didn't know it was that old. I
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: don't know. I thought I thought Roy was the oldest.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I really did. I would think Roy was the oldest.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I just won't see Mike man at the way in.

- 1:12:23Speaker 1: they're gonna wear helmets. But I don't think they are. Man,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: if it's pay per view, I think they're gonna bang.

- 1:12:49Speaker 1: was nice, he was nice like Tyson was nice. Yeah.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: But Tyson had a different punch though. And I think
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: at this stage of their life, this is gonna be
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: a slow fight. Now, this ain't gonna be what you
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: used to see it. Round photo, the bad ass is
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: gonna be breathing real dog dog round fo. You ain't
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: gonna believe this. I mean, you got two fifty year
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: old dudes and they in that ring and they swing
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: it at each other. That's a hard sport man crazy.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I'm actually I'm actually a really tired after the fight.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: We don't need to hear from nobody because we won't
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: be able to understand nobody. All my damn money on
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Mike come back to my corner. But because I because

- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Asian healthcare worker who immigrated from South Korea said she
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: had been racially profiled by white Americans at the supermarket.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Joe Biden said he was so angry to hear about
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: her experiences, and he referred to Donald Trump, calling COVID
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: nineteen the China virus. Mister Biden went on to say
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: that Donald Trump is the first racist to win the presidency.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Take a listen. No sitting president has ever done this, never, never, never,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: No Republican president has done this, No Democratic president. We've

- 1:17:46Speaker 1: or you look at criminal justice reform, you look at
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: prison reform. I've done things that nobody else And I've
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: said this, and I say it openly, and not a
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: lot of people dispute it. I've done more for Black
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Americans than anybody, with the possible exception of Abraham Lincoln.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Oh you got to be kidding ye, hold of dog?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Is this dude for real? He never said he wasn't
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: a racist either. He didn't say that either. I've done
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: more for Black Americans than anyone except Abrahm Lincoln, who
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: freed I guess that's what he's well, of course that's
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: what he said. So he forgot about the moves that
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: JFK made. He forgot about what Lyndon Baine Johnson was
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: doing on behalf of Martin Luther King. He forgot. But
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: then he don't know his history. So and why why
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: would you expect him to marry He never knew, No,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: he didn't never knew, never care he did. He did
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: he did. He doesn't know history. You've done nothing for
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: black Americans. Zero, I'm waiting, what did he do? Prison
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: reform ain't for Black Americans. Prison reform was for your
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: political advancement. You didn't do that for pardoning. You got
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: to be kidding me, man, that that ain't what you did.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: And those pardons started when Obama was leaving and he
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: started releasing people with with a super trumped up charges
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: for drug related cases. That started with Obama. Dog. Just dude,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: right here, I've done more for Black America. You ain't done.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I can't think of any non violent offenses. But anything
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: he's done was for political purposes. It was not for
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: black people. Coming up, it's our last break of the day.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I'm not having com me to day talk through the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: screen down here. What does it take all of this
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: our last break of the day coming up, and some
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey and
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after right after you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right here we are our last break
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: of the day on this Friday, our last break of
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: the week. It's been a good day, good week. Yeah, yes, ma'am.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: You know just do the show tomorrow. Can we coming
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: in and do the show tomorrow? Just have come Steve Saturday.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Do it? Everybody coming in here on Saturday on this
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: same station. To make sure you listen to myself. Man,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you're gonna put your junior junior because you ain't got nobody.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: That ain't our fault. See here, you know here I go.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Hell you the one did it? You could have been
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: had somebody. You don't want nobody. Remember I liked by myself.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Remember that I lied. I want somebody and women. Yeah,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: if the girl crossed the hall, still dating somebody. Yeah,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I've seen to the other daytime and they had the
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: real boot up. You don't want to talk about looking
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: at me. Hey, y'all, Uh you know what? Um I
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: noticed something. I want us to be careful and be
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: very very aware of. Joe Biden took a swipe at
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Donald Trump and he said that the first racist president
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: we've had in office, Republican or Democrat. And then I
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: kind of watch everybody get upset with him saying that
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: because there's been others. Y'all listen to me. We're in
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: a fight. I don't know if you understand, but fights
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: ain't fair I have never been I'm talking about a
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: real fighter, street fight. I've never been in a real
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: fight that was fair. I've never participated in one. One
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: of us broke the rules doing the fight. You know why,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: because there are no rules in the fight. We have
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: a person in the White House right now who relentlessly
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: lies to us time and time and time again with
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: no remorse. Who are misquote statistics. He just blatantly lies
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: about everything. He's all about himself. He's immature, childish, and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: the candidate that's going up against him, it's going up
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: against a person that's gonna make debating and gonna make
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: campaigning quite different than what it's been in the past.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: And you gotta match up with some of this stuff
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: right here. If you think Joe lied by saying he's
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: the first racist president, well let's look at it this way.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: He's gotta be probably the first openly one who does
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: enough repeated stuff to make you actually have to go wild.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: This guy's bigger than in racist. He just does it
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: time and time again, you know. And then his rebuttal
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: to Joe Biden was something like, I've done more for
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: black people than any other president, with the exception of
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Abraham Lincoln. Who does he keep telling this too? And
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: what black people he talking about? He's done more for
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: black people? Who? What has he done for black people? What? Man?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Stop letting people tell us stuff that they've done for
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: us and ain't nothing. I felt nothing. I'm black, like, okay, okay,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: let's just talk about me. I'm black and I didn't
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: vote for him, But for four years I've watched him
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: and I can't tell you anything he's done for black people.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: This prison reformed build that he wants to run down
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: our throats. He did that for political reasons. That wasn't
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: for black people. White people got out of prison too.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: It was a look. He went up there because Kim
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Kardashian went up there, Van Jones went up there, and
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: a few other key people and and and it gave
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: him a chance to look a certain way. Donald Trump
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: does not care about people in general. He's just not
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: a very caring man period. I mean all of his policies.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: When he took those children from their mothers down at
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the border and separated them and didn't have a tracking
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: system in place to put them back together. Take some
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: little child from their mother, Who does that? Who has
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: a policy where we're gonna separate them at the border,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: and that have discouraged them for coming forward. That's not
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: a very caring person who would erase doctor, not even
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: give a person a chance for citizenship who's been here
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: all of their lives? Who does that? Man who bans
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: to travel from seven Muslim countries? Who does that to
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: make a statement that if you're from this country and
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you're a Muslim, you're not good for America. You're not
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: welcome in America? Man, are you kidding me? He's done
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: this time and time again. He calls people out their names.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: And then you don't sit up here and think he's
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: done something for black people? When when? What? What does
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: this foundation do? What? What black college has he gone
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: to support it? Funded? Giving anything to what black organization
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: that helps black children or young boys or young girls? What?
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: What is he made a donation too before or since
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: he's been president? I can't think of anything, man, I'm sorry.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: So when a person tells me that they've done more
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: for me than anyone else, you better have your facts
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: straight because you can't just lie to me. Tell me
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: you've done something to me. That's like somebody saying his
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: rain outside and you're standing there watching them pee on you,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: but they're telling you it's raining. Are you kidding me? Man?
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Y'all better get serious. Leave Biden along when you make
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: these statements. Go with it because he fighting a dirty
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: dude man, and you and you gotta fight the same way.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I'm just saying, that's just the commentary of mind. I
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: just tripped me right here, because this dude talking about
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: he's telling more. For all Steve I re contests, no
