- 0:04Speaker 2: Y'all know what y'all don't know y'all at all at all.
- 0:10Speaker 1: So given them all.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Bu bu boozy.
- 0:22Speaker 4: By listening to to.
- 0:38Speaker 5: I don't Joy Joy, you don't.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Love you, you gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 3: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 3: the mouth, turn out, turn the word of the monjup, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out. You're thinking, Ah huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 2: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now. One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man got a radio
- 2:12Speaker 6: show because God is in a blessing business. I just
- 2:16Speaker 6: happen to be a recipient. I just happened to got
- 2:20Speaker 6: a couple of things right, and man, his grace and
- 2:27Speaker 6: mercy carries you the rest of the way. All you
- 2:29Speaker 6: got to do is get a couple of things right,
- 2:33Speaker 6: and then his grace and his mercy will take over
- 2:36Speaker 6: his favor, his love of you.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's already evident.
- 2:41Speaker 6: I mean, you know, because so many times we go
- 2:43Speaker 6: along without even acknowledging him or conferring with him in
- 2:47Speaker 6: our decisions, and we look up when we find ourselves
- 2:50Speaker 6: in a predicament, and he always comes to the rescue.
- 2:54Speaker 2: He always manages to show up.
- 2:58Speaker 6: He's never too late, he's never one minute too late.
- 3:02Speaker 6: And so in light of this today I wanted to
- 3:05Speaker 6: talk to you about something. It's another principle of success
- 3:12Speaker 6: that I'd like to share with everybody this morning. And
- 3:16Speaker 6: once again, these are not things that you don't know
- 3:19Speaker 6: or you've never heard before. These are just reminders along
- 3:23Speaker 6: the way. And one of the things you have to
- 3:26Speaker 6: be conscious of is don't be afraid to change. Don't
- 3:30Speaker 6: be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. See,
- 3:35Speaker 6: I have a theory, don't be afraid to change because
- 3:39Speaker 6: change is coming anyway. You know, everything changes, nothing remains
- 3:44Speaker 6: the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now, you can
- 3:50Speaker 6: participate in the change, or you can react to the change.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Are you following me? You can participate in the change
- 4:01Speaker 6: or you can react to the change. But don't be
- 4:05Speaker 6: afraid to change because change is coming anyway. Now, what
- 4:09Speaker 6: I mean by that is this, in participating in the
- 4:13Speaker 6: change or reacting in the change, there is a difference.
- 4:19Speaker 2: See, if you react to the.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Change, that means the change has occurred and now you
- 4:24Speaker 6: have to make the necessary adjustments to the change. Example,
- 4:30Speaker 6: the boss walks in, you think your job is good.
- 4:33Speaker 6: The boss walks in and hands you a pink slip.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That right there, that's a change.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Now you didn't participate in this change because you didn't
- 4:42Speaker 6: ask for the pink slip. But now you got to
- 4:44Speaker 6: react to the pink slip. Whenever you have to react
- 4:49Speaker 6: to the change, it's an adjustment period. It almost throws
- 4:55Speaker 6: you off. So change is going to come. It always does.
- 5:02Speaker 6: You could participate or you can react. Or let's say
- 5:09Speaker 6: your boss comes in and hands you the pink slip
- 5:12Speaker 6: and you said, you know what I've been preparing for
- 5:16Speaker 6: this day.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Always knew nothing. Last forever.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I've been working on the sideline on the business idea
- 5:24Speaker 6: I had, and I had or I had several other
- 5:27Speaker 6: applications in around town. I was just holding off to
- 5:30Speaker 6: see what was going going. So when they hand you
- 5:33Speaker 6: the pink slip, the transition, the adjustment you make is
- 5:36Speaker 6: a lot more smoother transition because now you just transition
- 5:40Speaker 6: into your new business idea that you've been working on.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Are you transitioned into the apps you already had in
- 5:46Speaker 6: or the contacts you made the preparation for when the
- 5:50Speaker 6: day they come in in hand you the pink slip, well, Steve,
- 5:52Speaker 6: what did they surprise you with it? This is just
- 5:54Speaker 6: one example I'm giving you, So you know, let's let's
- 5:58Speaker 6: not nick pick the message. So what I'm saying to
- 6:02Speaker 6: everybody is, don't be afraid to change, because change is
- 6:06Speaker 6: coming anyway. So many people are stuck in a rut
- 6:11Speaker 6: because of our refusal to change. I was hell bent
- 6:17Speaker 6: on a certain thing going a certain way, and this
- 6:20Speaker 6: is how it was gonna go. Well that I was
- 6:23Speaker 6: thinking didn't really fit. Now in my own personal experience,
- 6:27Speaker 6: this may not be yours, but in my own personal experience,
- 6:31Speaker 6: the things that I've had the most trouble letting go
- 6:34Speaker 6: of was something I wanted when I line myself up
- 6:40Speaker 6: with the will of God to ask God what he
- 6:42Speaker 6: wanted from me. You understand, those things came a lot
- 6:48Speaker 6: more easy to me because it was in the will
- 6:52Speaker 6: of God. It was what God wanted me to do too. Okay,
- 6:54Speaker 6: see what you mean by that? Okay, here we go.
- 6:57Speaker 6: When things were going wrong in relationships for me, what
- 7:04Speaker 6: I did was the biggest mistake I've ever made was
- 7:08Speaker 6: I attempted to fix what was wrong in my relationship
- 7:12Speaker 6: outside of the relationship.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Feel me.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Okay, So I'm out there working my groove like I
- 7:19Speaker 6: want to. Well, now, guess what, there's a cause and
- 7:22Speaker 6: effect for all of that too. Your house ain't gonna
- 7:26Speaker 6: get better.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It can't.
- 7:30Speaker 6: And then that lays room for some other things. And
- 7:33Speaker 6: so now that when the change come, guess what, I
- 7:36Speaker 6: got to react to it. Now, I gotta, I gotta,
- 7:40Speaker 6: I gotta have a reaction to it. Had I lined
- 7:43Speaker 6: myself up in the will of God, the transition may
- 7:47Speaker 6: have gone differently. It could have still ended the relationship.
- 7:52Speaker 6: But guess what, some of the pain I's in I
- 7:55Speaker 6: ain't had to go through. I bought a lot on myself.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Sometimes you're pursuing a passion of yours, and what God
- 8:06Speaker 6: really wants you to do is pursue your gift. So
- 8:09Speaker 6: now you're pursuing your passion, right, you passion about golf.
- 8:13Speaker 6: You love golf so much. You just determined, But now
- 8:17Speaker 6: you're messed around. You ain't made it on the PGA
- 8:20Speaker 6: Tour yet, and you forty five, still talking about I'm
- 8:22Speaker 6: gonna play on the PGA Tour. Really, Okay, maybe you
- 8:26Speaker 6: ain't as good as this you think, or maybe you're
- 8:28Speaker 6: not as gifted as you think. Maybe you're pursuing a passion. Sometimes, man,
- 8:33Speaker 6: we have to change and we have to ask God
- 8:37Speaker 6: what is his will? His will is much simpler. It's
- 8:41Speaker 6: a simpler rule. Not going to be easier, it's simpler.
- 8:45Speaker 6: See when I wake up. Now, it's simple for me
- 8:47Speaker 6: to wake up because I know that are few things.
- 8:50Speaker 2: That I have to do.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I have to click this mic on. I have to
- 8:55Speaker 6: be positive. I have to be inspirational. I have to
- 8:59Speaker 6: be in form if. I have to be uplifting, got it,
- 9:03Speaker 6: That's what he wants. All I got to do is
- 9:05Speaker 6: sit down, close my eyes, ask God to help me
- 9:09Speaker 6: be who he want me to be. And for the
- 9:11Speaker 6: most part, he tell me what to say. Now, guess
- 9:15Speaker 6: what he's done though, to create this in me. I
- 9:18Speaker 6: went through enough things in my life. I had enough challenges.
- 9:23Speaker 6: I made plenty of mistakes. So now at my age,
- 9:26Speaker 6: I can turn around and tell somebody listening to me, Okay,
- 9:29Speaker 6: this is what I did. This is a mistake I made.
- 9:31Speaker 6: Maybe you see yourself in this story right here. Maybe
- 9:33Speaker 6: you don't have to go this way. Or this is
- 9:35Speaker 6: what I've learned about becoming successful. Here's a principle that
- 9:39Speaker 6: I learned. But then guess what. I had to be
- 9:41Speaker 6: unsuccessful to get it though, didn't I. So you can't
- 9:44Speaker 6: have a testimony without a test Change is coming, It's inevitable.
- 9:49Speaker 6: You can participate or you can react. I much prefer
- 9:53Speaker 6: to participate in the change. All right, let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 7: You're listening to the stell ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Let me have it, please, undivided attention. Today is a
- 10:07Speaker 6: great day. Today is the beginning of the rest of
- 10:11Speaker 6: your life. Today is a day that you get to
- 10:15Speaker 6: decide what direction you choose to have your life take.
- 10:21Speaker 6: You get to make an active decision in that today.
- 10:26Speaker 6: I don't care where you are, what your circumstance is.
- 10:29Speaker 6: You can make a decision today that can begin the change.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Of all of it.
- 10:35Speaker 6: I invite you to do that. But you got to
- 10:36Speaker 6: have the faith and understand it. That's exactly how it works,
- 10:39Speaker 6: because you have to say so you do. No of
- 10:41Speaker 6: that given us by the power of God who created
- 10:44Speaker 6: us in his image. So on this day, I want
- 10:47Speaker 6: to thank you Lord for that opportunity, the power of choice.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I want to thank you for giving me the gift
- 10:53Speaker 6: of life. I'm glad to be here. Man sixty eight strong, Baby, Yeah, man, oh.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Man, oh man.
- 10:59Speaker 6: I'm a good and strong, got a couple of health issues.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Got a couple of things that hurt me that didn't
- 11:04Speaker 6: hurt me before. You know, sometime I moved. I gonna
- 11:07Speaker 6: catch what was that?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Well, whatever it is, I can fix it. Thank you
- 11:11Speaker 2: Lord for life. Yeah you understand.

- 11:25Speaker 6: I ain't getting nothing, man, I got a manual from
- 11:28Speaker 6: one of my kids, and I got a call. Yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 6: it's like, well, it was like a journal. It's like
- 11:36Speaker 6: a journal to record my life because they want to know.
- 11:40Speaker 6: It's a journal that they have for fathers. You can
- 11:43Speaker 6: go back and answer questions about your past and write
- 11:46Speaker 6: it down so everybody can learn about a lot of
- 11:51Speaker 6: pages I can't fill out because they ain't gonna do
- 11:53Speaker 6: with the stomach, I might lie.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I got a lot of blank pages in mind already.

- 12:19Speaker 11: That was.
- 12:20Speaker 2: That was a blitch cued for your boy el.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Then after my mom died, that was another run I
- 12:27Speaker 6: needed to keep off the paper from.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Forty to forty eight. Y'all knew me then. But Lord,
- 12:34Speaker 2: not really lot pages in your job.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a lot of stuff that I have to write, like, uh,

- 12:48Speaker 6: this day I decided to steal and then dot dot dot.
- 12:53Speaker 2: You just let it go. On this day I took
- 13:00Speaker 2: a pistol and then you know, dot dot dot dot.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And then on this day somebody broke in and they
- 13:11Speaker 2: dot dot. That is just a lot, a lot of

- 17:50Speaker 13: Now you're trying to mention about money into me. This
- 17:52Speaker 13: just me and you, just two men talking.
- 17:54Speaker 8: Now what you want and if there's two men then
- 17:56Speaker 8: talking there from one man to another. Watch you just
- 17:59Speaker 8: go some where and quit telling.

- 18:06Speaker 13: did somebody go out and do something? Trying to do
- 18:09Speaker 13: something positive? You got some more shaking, big shimmy wab
- 18:13Speaker 13: like you sitting up in here, man wanting to go
- 18:15Speaker 13: sit down somewhere. I ain't going sitting down. No, damn well,
- 18:19Speaker 13: you can't mention me with that. I say what I
- 18:21Speaker 13: want to say. And how are you anyway? You ain't

- 18:26Speaker 13: I tell you what I am doing.
- 18:28Speaker 8: I'm trying to do something. And every time I take
- 18:30Speaker 8: a step, you take two steps.
- 18:32Speaker 13: I can't long hand hand hold.
- 18:33Speaker 8: Man.
- 18:34Speaker 13: When it came hey, y'all kill me? Why don't you
- 18:37Speaker 13: quit trying and do something?
- 18:39Speaker 8: You lolla?
- 18:39Speaker 13: Feel me? Man? With that on you trying to do something?
- 18:42Speaker 13: Why don't you do something though you're sitting up been
- 18:45Speaker 13: here talking to me about what you trying. You try
- 18:47Speaker 13: to selling that same thing to your people. You trying
- 18:50Speaker 13: when even tied me and trying stuff. When you gonna

- 27:32Speaker 1: Sophia and Virginia Beach.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Sophia says, my boyfriend and I plan to drive to

- 28:28Speaker 6: me and it's raining me, and I'm going. You didn't go,
- 28:31Speaker 6: and that ain't your husband's fault. You said you decided
- 28:37Speaker 6: because of the weather. Oh yeah, you really should have
- 28:44Speaker 6: had your ass. You should have looked like that little
- 28:51Speaker 6: white girl on that box of salt. Your ass should
- 28:53Speaker 6: have been had rubber boots.
- 28:56Speaker 2: On a hoodie, her umbrella. You should be Yeah, okay, lady, Okay,
- 29:03Speaker 2: that's the last one.
- 29:05Speaker 11: Right.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Hey, you know what, let me say this. This has
- 29:11Speaker 2: nothing to do with colo. Donald Trump is the new
- 29:17Speaker 2: president saying it. He was a crazy part.
- 29:23Speaker 6: He pardoned all of the oathkeepers and Proud Boys in prison,
- 29:29Speaker 6: including the chief of the Proud Boys who was given
- 29:34Speaker 6: a twenty two year sentence for his participation in what
- 29:40Speaker 6: he did. He let everybody go, even the ones that
- 29:43Speaker 6: were accused of assaulting police officers. That he always talking
- 29:49Speaker 6: about protecting the men and the flu. But if you
- 29:52Speaker 6: was there on his beefhalf, that shows you how much
- 29:54Speaker 6: of a narcissist this guy.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Really is.
- 29:56Speaker 6: If you were there for me, I'm here for you.
- 30:00Speaker 6: So hey, y'all, it's going to be a show. It's
- 30:02Speaker 6: going to be a show, a four year show.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Get ready. Oh well, it's gonna be Muss TV.
- 30:10Speaker 1: All right, all right, Steve, thank you. Coming up at
- 30:13Speaker 1: the top of the hour. We will have entertainment news
- 30:16Speaker 1: for you. Right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 30:20Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:24Speaker 7: According to CNN, Donald Trump was sworn in as the
- 30:27Speaker 7: forty seventh president of the United States at the Capitol Rotunda,
- 30:31Speaker 7: marking a political comeback after being convicted of felonies. In
- 30:35Speaker 7: his inaugural address, Trump vowed, quote, the golden Age of
- 30:39Speaker 7: America is starting, as he listed his priorities. They are
- 30:44Speaker 7: priorities on trade, immigration, national security, all while criticizing Joe
- 30:50Speaker 7: Biden President Joe Biden. President Trump also signed a slew
- 30:55Speaker 7: of executive orders.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So you're criticizing the man right in his face, though,
- 31:02Speaker 1: he said, right there, I mean, how rude.
- 31:10Speaker 2: That dude right there.
- 31:11Speaker 11: He didn't care.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Yeah, he obviously didn't care.
- 31:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 7: Well, like Tommy said yesterday, he was busy signing these
- 31:19Speaker 7: executive orders at the Capitol one Arena he at that
- 31:23Speaker 7: desk out.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we knew that on day one he had an agenda.
- 31:33Speaker 2: On her clapping everything.
- 31:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to I want to get a list
- 31:37Speaker 6: of everything he signed, because I haven't seen yet. New
- 31:40Speaker 6: York Times said they're coming out with it. I want
- 31:42Speaker 6: to see what it is. And I was watching the
- 31:47Speaker 6: the some of the ball last night. I can just
- 31:49Speaker 6: watch some of the stuff, but ja, what is what
- 31:53Speaker 6: is jd Vance's wife?
- 31:54Speaker 11: What is she?
- 31:56Speaker 1: I think she's And then oh, you.
- 32:02Speaker 9: Wives got to have their paper stand because they I'm sorry.
- 32:08Speaker 2: My bed, my bed. First lady, you don't have his paperwork?
- 32:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so they won't get sent back?
- 32:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, all right.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Well, moving on to other entertainment news, Snoop Dogg, Nelly,
- 32:25Speaker 7: Rick Ross, Soldier Boy All have received a lot of
- 32:29Speaker 7: backlash for performing at the Crypto Ball. This was an
- 32:32Speaker 7: event honoring Trump, billing him as quote America's first crypto president.
- 32:37Speaker 7: Social media users were quick to point out that Snoop Dogg,
- 32:40Speaker 7: now you guys remember this.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg had.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Previously criticized anyone performing for Trump. Back in twenty seventeen,
- 32:47Speaker 7: he called anyone willing to perform for Trump quote Uncle Tom's. Meanwhile,
- 32:52Speaker 7: Soldier Boy responded to criticisms and said it was all
- 32:56Speaker 7: about the money. He went on to say President Obama
- 33:00Speaker 7: or Vice President Kamala Harris quote ain't never put no
- 33:03Speaker 7: money in his blankety blank pockets.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Okay, no, no, he was way worse than that.
- 33:10Speaker 10: I know.
- 33:11Speaker 2: He was so disrespectful. Yeah, yeah, very much. He's he's
- 33:16Speaker 2: clueless as to how it's done. I mean that, dude, Well.
- 33:22Speaker 1: He's said that.
- 33:23Speaker 7: Uh yeah, Soldier Boy, he Sojier Boy also said that
- 33:28Speaker 7: Trump wasn't there, so it wasn't a Trump event.
- 33:39Speaker 6: I love stupidity, boy. Stupidity. It don't stop coming at you. Man,
- 33:44Speaker 6: once you really are genuinely stupid, it just it keeps coming.
- 33:49Speaker 11: Man.
- 33:50Speaker 6: That's so crazy. He said Trump wasn't now, so it
- 33:54Speaker 6: wasn't a Trump event.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But it was an inaugural ball Okay, uh, the inauguration.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah. If Trump ain't out there yet, it ain't a Trump.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Events technically, yeah, accord, accord yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 8: Now.
- 34:14Speaker 7: Nelly responded to the criticism on Willie D's podcast, said
- 34:18Speaker 7: he wasn't motivated by the money. He went on and
- 34:21Speaker 7: on about Trump and said it was about the office
- 34:24Speaker 7: of the presidency. Nellie said, quote, I respect the office
- 34:28Speaker 7: no matter who is president.
- 34:30Speaker 2: There you go, yeah, I know, I know I do too.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I respect the office of the president. I do, I
- 34:39Speaker 2: really do.
- 34:39Speaker 6: I mean, you know, I mean he's a president now,
- 34:42Speaker 6: whether you voted for him or not, he is the
- 34:44Speaker 6: one right now. And so he's the guy, and it
- 34:48Speaker 6: is what it is. He's a president of the United States.
- 34:51Speaker 6: You can stop the belly aching because over five million,
- 34:57Speaker 6: five million more people voted for him than the other
- 34:59Speaker 6: ca the day. That's a lot of people, man. So
- 35:04Speaker 6: we have a democracy and it spoke. Now, I tell
- 35:08Speaker 6: you one thing. Had that five million vote count went
- 35:11Speaker 6: the other way, January be another January sixth, you know
- 35:17Speaker 6: we lost the first. Yeah, it's it's just it's sad.
- 35:22Speaker 6: Now because he's turned away, politics will be done. The
- 35:25Speaker 6: Republican Party will adapt the way he's running.
- 35:30Speaker 1: We still have to keep on living. We still you know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: I mean, getting up every day, God willing.
- 35:36Speaker 2: We still have to do what we do.
- 35:38Speaker 7: But here's the question, Steve and guys, would you rather
- 35:42Speaker 7: sacrifice your ethics to earn more money or sacrifice money
- 35:47Speaker 7: for your ethics?
- 35:49Speaker 1: Well, clearly, soldier.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Boy, Yeah, give a damn. I mean ethics. That is
- 35:55Speaker 2: how you live. Ethics is how you live with yourself.
- 36:01Speaker 6: I've been offered lots of money to go against what
- 36:03Speaker 6: I'm ethically about, but I just don't.
- 36:07Speaker 2: It's not for me.
- 36:08Speaker 6: Like I'm gonna give you an example, I've been offered
- 36:12Speaker 6: lots of money to do an alcohol I got in
- 36:15Speaker 6: trouble once make a Yeah, you know a brand and
- 36:20Speaker 6: endorse and have a brand, but you know what happened
- 36:23Speaker 6: a long time ago. I got in trouble with people
- 36:25Speaker 6: who sold alcohol. And one of my prayers when I
- 36:29Speaker 6: was in court was to God to say, God, if
- 36:31Speaker 6: you let me get out of this right here, I'm
- 36:33Speaker 6: not selling no more liquor to people. And he got
- 36:37Speaker 6: me out and that was it. It just goes against
- 36:40Speaker 6: the brand. If I'm menering young boys, what I don't
- 36:43Speaker 6: want to do is sell them alcohol too, because I
- 36:46Speaker 6: think that that's been the downfall in our community for
- 36:48Speaker 6: a lot of things that don't make me righteous or nothing.
- 36:51Speaker 2: That's just an example that.
- 36:55Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 36:59Speaker 7: we're gonna check if your voicemail seed at eight seven
- 37:01Speaker 7: seven twenty nine, Steve.

- 37:11Speaker 7: to talk about life insurance. It's one of those things
- 37:14Speaker 7: that everyone should have, and Globe Life makes it easy

- 38:03Speaker 14: to y'all since two pologists I started talking. I remember

- 41:11Speaker 7: call and leave us a message. You might just hear
- 41:13Speaker 7: your call on the air. This caller, Steve left a
- 41:16Speaker 7: message about the amount of TV coverage that President Trump's inauguration.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Received on MLKJ.
- 41:22Speaker 10: Hey, mister Steve Harvey, you were right, you were one
- 41:25Speaker 10: hundred percent right. This this with Donald Trump is on
- 41:29Speaker 10: every challenge every chune. Now I were looking at Martin
- 41:32Speaker 10: Luther King like I look at every year. You see,
- 41:34Speaker 10: they don't cut Martin Luther King short just to put
- 41:39Speaker 10: Donald Trump on them. You see this, they don't cut
- 41:42Speaker 10: or they don't took Martin Luther King off. Now you
- 41:45Speaker 10: will stay on about twelve or one o'clock something like that.
- 41:48Speaker 10: There would you would be every year they don't took
- 41:50Speaker 10: Martin Luther King off this station Chama five where I
- 41:53Speaker 10: look at a channel two and now you are right,
- 41:57Speaker 10: you will one under percent right, Donald Trump knock on
- 42:00Speaker 10: every champ.
- 42:01Speaker 2: That ain't right.
- 42:02Speaker 10: They could at least kept Martin Luther King one day
- 42:05Speaker 10: just like they had theoout wanted King all right again
- 42:08Speaker 10: half the birthday and you right on it all right?
- 42:11Speaker 8: Bye bye.
- 42:13Speaker 2: See. I understand something, understand something y'all.
- 42:17Speaker 6: The administration, the new incoming administration set the inauguration date.
- 42:25Speaker 6: They said it on Martin Luther King Holiday, where it
- 42:28Speaker 6: could get the most pressed coverage because it's already going
- 42:32Speaker 6: to be a national holiday. So this man, being who
- 42:38Speaker 6: he is, decided that his inauguration should be on a
- 42:42Speaker 6: national holiday. And that's why you had his inauguration on that.
- 42:49Speaker 6: Nobody else has ever taken that date ever before and
- 42:54Speaker 6: made it about the inauguration.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I thought it was set.
- 43:00Speaker 9: I thought this was set because I thought even if
- 43:02Speaker 9: Miss Kamala would want, it was gonna still be on
- 43:04Speaker 9: this particular day.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Who told you that? It was like January twenty five?
- 43:13Speaker 6: Who?
- 43:14Speaker 12: Who?
- 43:14Speaker 2: Who told? But who made that on Martin Luther King Day?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Well it's the what is it? The third Monday? Monday?
- 43:24Speaker 9: This happened to fall that way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it

- 43:31Speaker 9: I don't ever.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'll tell you on your birthday.
- 43:37Speaker 9: Was it was going to be Miss Kamala and we
- 43:38Speaker 9: was gonna get a great you know, yeah, all this
- 43:43Speaker 9: wether it's being coming in.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Martin Luther King's actual birthday is January fifteenth, fifteenth, right,
- 43:53Speaker 6: My birthday was the seventeenth, which was a Friday exactly.
- 43:59Speaker 6: That would have still gave you a three day weekend Friday,
- 44:02Speaker 6: Saturday Sunday.
- 44:06Speaker 1: You would have wanted it on your birthday.
- 44:08Speaker 6: No, I just don't believe. I don't believe. I don't

- 56:21Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 56:22Speaker 7: Subject he has a mystery woman. He has a mystery woman.
- 56:28Speaker 7: Dear Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend and I have been together
- 56:32Speaker 7: four years, and he's been talking about marriage, but there's
- 56:35Speaker 7: a mystery woman in his life.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He spends a lot of time in my house, but
- 56:39Speaker 1: when I go to his home.
- 56:41Speaker 7: It's super clean, and his refrigerator is always full of
- 56:45Speaker 7: the necessities and leftovers. I have been him, I have
- 56:49Speaker 7: known him for four years. I have known him for years,
- 56:53Speaker 7: and I've never heard him say he's going to the
- 56:55Speaker 7: grocery store or that he's getting groceries delivered. He doesn't cook,
- 57:00Speaker 7: and the food in his fridge is home cooked. He
- 57:03Speaker 7: barely has cookware. His mother is elderly and stopped cooking
- 57:07Speaker 7: years ago. She told me that herself, so who was
- 57:10Speaker 7: cooking for my boyfriend and who was cleaning his house
- 57:13Speaker 7: so good and putting those blue tablets in his toilets.
- 57:17Speaker 7: He said he's a neat freak, but that's not the
- 57:19Speaker 7: case when he's at my house. I told him I'd
- 57:22Speaker 7: like to start coming to his house more and spending
- 57:24Speaker 7: more nights there so we can experience restaurants on his
- 57:27Speaker 7: side of town. But he started making excuses like he's
- 57:31Speaker 7: only like he only has chain restaurants close to his
- 57:35Speaker 7: house and my house is more cozy.
- 57:37Speaker 1: And homie feeling.
- 57:38Speaker 7: I insisted that we spend a weekend at his place,
- 57:41Speaker 7: and I told him that I wanted to leave some
- 57:43Speaker 7: of my things at his house.
- 57:44Speaker 1: He stopped me.
- 57:46Speaker 7: He said he doesn't like clutter, so he would have
- 57:48Speaker 7: to clear a space for me in his closet and
- 57:51Speaker 7: bathroom before I started taking things to his house. How
- 57:55Speaker 7: is it that we've been dating and having sex for
- 57:57Speaker 7: four years and this man makes me feel like he's
- 58:00Speaker 7: hiding something from me. Who is doing the cooking and
- 58:03Speaker 7: cleaning at his place? Does he have a mystery woman
- 58:06Speaker 7: on the other side of town?
- 58:08Speaker 1: Please advise?
- 58:10Speaker 7: Okay, I'm curious as to why you just started asking
- 58:14Speaker 7: him these questions or just bringing these questions up right
- 58:17Speaker 7: now after four years. I mean, I hate to say this,
- 58:20Speaker 7: but yes, he probably does have someone else for the
- 58:23Speaker 7: reasons you mentioned. The home cooked meals, the cleanliness and
- 58:28Speaker 7: the neatness when he's not like that at your house,
- 58:30Speaker 7: all the excuses he makes when you say you want
- 58:33Speaker 7: to stay with him, these are.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Definitely red flags.
- 58:36Speaker 7: My question to you is why again, why have you
- 58:39Speaker 7: let him get away with this for four years? You
- 58:42Speaker 7: should have asked him these questions a long time ago,
- 58:44Speaker 7: like in the beginning of this four year relationship. You
- 58:48Speaker 7: should have stayed at his south long before this, and
- 58:50Speaker 7: you should have had a space at his house a
- 58:52Speaker 7: long time ago, you know, at least a couple of
- 58:55Speaker 7: years into the relationship. And you say he talks about marriage, well,
- 58:58Speaker 7: I would think after four years he should be saying
- 59:01Speaker 7: something about your future together. You have asked him if
- 59:04Speaker 7: he has someone. Excuse after excuse is what he gave you.
- 59:08Speaker 7: I say, she's not the mystery woman you are. Okay,
- 59:11Speaker 7: It's time for you to get some real answers to
- 59:14Speaker 7: these burning questions you have.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You need to settle this so called mystery once and
- 59:21Speaker 1: for all.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Steve, I'm stuck here. I've never heard a more conclusive letter.
- 59:30Speaker 2: There's no questions in this letter.
- 59:34Speaker 6: I mean, damn, based on everything you typed and text
- 59:40Speaker 6: or whatever emailed us. Did you read the letter back?
- 59:44Speaker 6: Did you hear what you said? He got a mystery woman? Okay,
- 59:51Speaker 6: these are facts though, based on this letter. I'm just
- 59:55Speaker 6: talking about the letter. Based on this letter, this is
- 59:57Speaker 6: a fact. This ain't even a question. Y'all been together
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: four years. He been talking about marriage but there's a
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: mystery woman in his life.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Really, he spends a lot of time in my house.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: But when I go to his house, it's super clean,
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: and his refrigerator is always full of necessities and leftovers. Now,
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: I've been single before, and I've had an apartment. Yeah,
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: I'm pretty neat, dude. I like my place to look straight.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: But my frigerator ain't ever.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Been a fool. It was never fooled.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: I went to that refrigerator many times, looking at that
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: job man's and the couple pickles floating around in that job.
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: It just ain't ever fool I can't tell you how
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: many times out of water some seal. It ain't have
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: but a corn on milk. I can't count the time.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: I've known him for years, and I've never heard him
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: say he's going to the grocery store, that he's getting
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: groceries deliving. He doesn't cook, and the food in his
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: fridge is home cooked. He barely has cook were okay, lady,
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: if you know all this, what were we talking about?
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: But old, No, that's just one third one quarter of
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: the letter. Let's type some Most of His mother is elderly,
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: and she stopped cooking years ago. She told me that herself.
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: So who is cooking for my boyfriend and who is
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: cleaning his house so good and putting them blue tablets
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: in his toilet? I remember one time I actually bought
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: some tidy bowl and hooked it on the inside of
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: that toilet so when it flushed, it blue would be
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: blue water. That was a big moment for me at
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: twenty one years old, to flush a toilet and see
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: the blue water that my mama had in hers idly
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: did that one time.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: I never went back and bought no more of that.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: It was just one time. I had blue water for
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: about three weeks. That's it. After that, it wasn't no more.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: He said he's a neat freak, but that's not the
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: case when he's at my house. I told him I'd
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: like to start coming over his house more and spending
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: more night so we can experience restaurants on his side
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: of town.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: He started making excuses that.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: He only got chain restaurants close to his house, and
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: her house is more cozy and homey feeling. When I
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: come back, I'm just go on and get rid of
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: this letter. It's really no more to talk about.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: See, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: subject he has a mystery a woman. We'll get back
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: into it right after this.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: Did you know you could now buy a Hondai on Amazon,
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: the same place where you order yoga mats, a toothbrush,
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: and pretty much everything else, all from the comfort of
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: your home, just located nearby dealer.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Pick your color, your.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Options, check the price, and with a few dotting up
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: some ey's and crossing some tea's, Whaila, your Hondai is
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: ready for pickup.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: It's that easy.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: Visit unda usa dot com for more details. Limited availability
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: pickup through participating Hondai dealers and select markets.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is he has
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: a mystery woman.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: Okay, lady, if you know he got a mystery woman,
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: it's not a court. You didn't question us. You're making
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: a statement. You've been with the guy four years. You'll
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: hardly ever go over his house. He spent all his
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: time at your house. He's got refrigerator full of stuff
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: when you do go over there, his house is always neat,
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: and he has leftovers from a home cooked meal. He
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: don't cook, he barely has cook well, you know his
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: mama done cook. She told you she stopped cooking long
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: time ago.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: And you want to know who's cooking for my boyfriend.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: And who's cleaning his house and putting in blue tablets
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: in the tarlet. I would have an answer for you
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: because I have a cleaning service. I would have an
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: instant answer for you. I pay a housekeeping service to
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: come through that and keep my house clean. And then
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: you say, who's making these home cooked meals? I have
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: a food service. Drop the food off, and you know
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: the stuff I don't eat, I put it in refrigerator.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: I got an instant lie for you. This is all lies.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: But if this is what you need, I would have
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: it prepare for you because it's easy for me to
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: explain what my house is neat because I got a
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: house cleaning service, and while ifrigerator food because I got
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: a food service, and i'd never heard me go to
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: the grocer store because I don't go to the grocery store,
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: and I don't have a cook wear because I ain't
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: got to cook, because my delivery service bring my pre
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: prepped meals in.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: You see them, right, right, yeah, with the lies. Yeah,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: you have to.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: I told him I'd like to start coming to a
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: house more and spend the night before we can experience
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: restaurants on here side of town. He started making excuse
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: like he only got chain restaurants close to his house
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: and my house is more cozy and homie feeling. I insisted,
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: now hear where the letter get good, that we spend
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: a week in at his place. And I told him
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: that I wanted to leave some things at his house.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: He stopped me, Oh, man, I don't like clutter.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: What you're talking about, willis, So I got to clear.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: A space for you at the closet and bathroom before
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: you start bringing stuff over here. Now, she says, how
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: is that We've been dating and having sex for four
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: years and this man make me feel like he hiding
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: something from me because he is. But lady, you the
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: one been having sex with him and don't know nothing.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: Who is doing the cooking and cleaning at his house?
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: Does he have a mystery woman on the other side
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: of the town.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Yeah, hell, you ain't got a mystery woman on that
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: side of house. What the hell you think going on?
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: But now, if you want to believe what I'm telling
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: you he has a cleaner service and he gets his
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: meals made by pre food prep company. He can tell
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: you that. But how you done waited four years? You
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: ain't been over there in four years. You ain't left
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: nothing at his house in four years? You ain't stayed
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: at What's wrong with you? Why you wait four years?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Writers?
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: You should have wrote us this after year and a half,
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: been eighteen months, but now you got four years in
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: And now here's the magic line. He's been talking about marriage. Well,
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: he been talking about marriage to her too. See that's
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: how you hold a person's attention. You talk to him
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: about marriage. But I don't know if you noticed it
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: or not. That marriage conversation ain't ever had your name
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: in it. And whoever cleaning up the house and putting
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: that food in refrigerator and putting that blue tablets in
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: the toilet. He's talking to her too. Now do we
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: have that out the way? Here's my question? Why did
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: you write us?
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: If you know there's a mystery woman? How you dragging
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: us in two it?
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: Now?
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: I always try to get a dude the benefit of
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: the doubt. And like I said, the only thing I
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: can tell you is he has a cleaning service. He
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: has food prep service. That's why his house is always
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: cleaning his refrigerators. Food I know, but see there's some
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: things you need to check that. Food service companies don't
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: provide meal prep. People don't send bottles of condiments, so
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: check those out. They don't see in cartons of milk.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Check that out.
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: They don't see in sticks of butter, so check that out.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: See they don't have so they don't have yars are
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: preserves by smuckers. They don't have that. So if you
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: see that in the house, somebody shopping, and I'm gonna
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: just tell you right now, men don't order relish. We
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: ain't ever sent went to the store and ordered no
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: damn relish ever ever. I'm just telling you right now.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: So if you see that in there, there's some woman
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: that put that in there. There's some stuff in your
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: refrigerator that you know women can put it. If you
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: see a box of arm and hamm of bacon, soda,
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: ain't no man did that because we can open up
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: refrigerator smell. However, a warm smell, we just shut the door.
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: A woman put a box of arm and ham of bacon.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Sold in there.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: That's a woman's item right here. If you see a
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: Govet syrup in the house, that a woman still there.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: We don't know nothing, but missmuttered Worth at log cabin
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: That's all we know. We don't know nothing. I'm just
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: trying to help. If you see baking powder in the cabinet,
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: it's a woman stadium.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: I've never bought no damn baking powder it ever.
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: In my whole damn im on Today's Strawberry Letter at

- 1:10:40Speaker 12: Okay, man, uncle man, the Ravens falls short to the
- 1:10:44Speaker 12: Bills twenty seven to twenty five. I couldn't believe that, man,
- 1:10:49Speaker 12: Mark Andrews dropped the two point conversion. Mad at the
- 1:10:52Speaker 12: gold line, man in the hand, tight end, Mark Andrews, man,
- 1:10:56Speaker 12: kindly he had it, man, it would have tied the
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: games in it over you had.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: He had to leave Maryland that night too. I better that. Yeah,
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: that's hard.
- 1:11:04Speaker 12: That was a hard trip, man, But you know what,
- 1:11:07Speaker 12: Key bombs right back the Eagles man over the Rams,
- 1:11:10Speaker 12: come on, Jalen hurt, Sa Kwon Barkley hung through cute
- 1:11:16Speaker 12: got you and then the commanders. This boy Jane Daniels

- 1:11:24Speaker 6: Now I wasn't even mad at that, even though I
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: was hurt, did you okay? Because that damn Detroit man
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: God yea yeah. But that boy in at the Washington
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: come hume through, young boy.
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Man, Now I'm tossed up a little bit.
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I'm you don't know what you're gonna pick.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Yeah, because of either one of them boys, uh commanders

- 1:11:58Speaker 6: he a Q. But the boy a young boy, the

- 1:12:08Speaker 12: The Chiefs and the Refts beat the Texans twenty three
- 1:12:13Speaker 12: to fourteen. Oh yeah, hard to beat two teams, I
- 1:12:19Speaker 12: know that on the same field.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Well, you can't beat them boys with them stripes on. Man,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: the calls the man come on rough in the passer
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: that we.
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: Already not We already not better than that. Now you
- 1:12:35Speaker 9: got the refs too, Yeah, that's too much.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: We all ready on the flag. It wasn't nobody the
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: ball would even height. They just threw it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 12: Just whatever he needs to do, just give it to him.
- 1:12:48Speaker 12: Seeven they got to change that rule. Man, if you're
- 1:12:49Speaker 12: a quarterback, just run a bound. But all this trying
- 1:12:52Speaker 12: to be a runner and then go down and then
- 1:12:53Speaker 12: get a flag because finders tackled you. You was running
- 1:12:57Speaker 12: as a runner, you didn't even go out of bounds,
- 1:13:00Speaker 12: you get flag for it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Many cheat Tell me that's what happened. I don't know
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: how y'all thought y'all going to win the.
- 1:13:11Speaker 13: Game, Thank God.
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour, man on
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: social media needs some advice. He says, a double standard
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: for guys in girls' night out. Uh, he wants to
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: know about that. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: Steve.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: This is from Jaydon on Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: He says, this weekend, my girlfriend has told me she's
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: going out for a quote girls night on Saturdays.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I'm glad she's doing it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: However, she tripped out when I said cool, I'm going
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: to hang out with the fellas.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Her mood changed completely. Now she wants to know where
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: we'll be going, exactly what we'll be doing, and who
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: will be doing it with. I told her that we
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: haven't decided on every detail. Yeah, and now she's implying
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: that I'm hiding something. I'm tripping because I've never seen
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: this side of her. How much of a problem is this?
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: Wow? Well she can go out for girls night, but
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: you can't go out for guys nights.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: That's all it is to it.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: It ain't nothing else to it. What what you want
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: us to tell you? How much of a problem is it?
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: I mean, you look at it. You okay the girls night,
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: but she ain't okay in the guys' night.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: I don't know, man, I don't you know how much
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: of a problem is it? There's a problem already. I
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: don't what y'all ain't on the same page. Bro, You
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: don't want to cross path. They're gonna be on them streets.
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: That's the same night.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: They don't want to cross past.
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: Well, Tommy could have a point there right there. She
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: trying to find out where you can be so they
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: don't on girls night. They don't be that too. Come on,
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: come on, because they may go to the strip club
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: because that's what they do now. Women go to strip
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: clubs like me and go to strip club, which I've
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: never understood this dude, be talking man, me and my
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: girl were going down to the strip club. My girl
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: can't see me like this. I'm telling you what, no, no,
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: in all, in all, what you don't need to do
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: is how much I'm willing to throw at her. You
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: can't see that, especially if you ain't got that same
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: amount thrown at you.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: It's it's a lot. Say. You just don't need to
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: see me in the strip club atmosphere. Ain't no way.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: To look on my face when you in my face,
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: you don't need to see that, see that? Why are
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: you looking at her like that?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Did you what? I ask you? Where y'all was going?
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: I asked you?
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: Now you know what?
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: All right, this is from Johnny. We have to I'm
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: for another one, Steve Johnny and Steve HARBFM says, I'm
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: trying to decide if I should tell my brother that
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: his girlfriend is a liar. When he introduced me to her,
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: she said she was a veterinarian. I'm also involved with animals,
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: So I asked a few questions, not because I was grilling.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Her, but just because I was interested.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: Her answer told me that she is in no way,
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: shape or form a v She said she is scared
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: of dogs, allergic to cats and can't stand lizards.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Come on, now, what else is she lying about? Does
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: my brother need to know?
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: Well, it ain't the girl, it's probably you. You misunderstood it.
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: She said she's a vegetarian. You thought she said she's
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: a veterinarian. That's all that is right there. That just
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: misunderstanding because clearly scared of dogs, allergic to cat You
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: can't work down at the clinic because in America that
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: what we bring it in here, dogs and damn cats. Yes, Troup,
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: you misunderstood a girl. She told me she was vegetarian.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: She said nothing. I know she was vegetarian. Now you're
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: gonna go to your brother tell me he a liar.
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: She don't know nothing about no animals. She ain't said
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: nothing about no she got speech impediment. I'm telling you
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: right now, she downed there or the scrips off.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Between if she had a veterinarian and a vegetarian.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: What's the difference.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: I mean, how do you say it? If you have
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: a speech.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Impediment, one of them save animals, I know that part.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: One of them eat something. But if you you said
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: she had a speech.
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: Impediment, well, can you tell me what you do yeah,
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: a ban But she's fine though.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: So you know, Gates everything, veterans, everything out.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: She could have been a veteran, She could have been
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: a betterin.
- 1:18:09Speaker 7: We'll have more of this ignorance show coming up for
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: twenty minutes after the hour, right.

- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: I ice skated one time at Kent State my first
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: week there. I couldn't. I had never seen the ice
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: skating rink. I lived across the street from it in
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: my dormitory. I went to ice skating and put them
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: skates on. Man, because I was an athlete, I found
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: out they ain't have a whole lot to do with it.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry about that one.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: No, no, no, don't worry about it. Y'all. Just come

- 1:21:36Speaker 6: Bed Yeah, that's what I got away from it. I
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: mean bed A, A B C DS one. Man, you
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: do you have got to get a single room. I'm

- 1:22:32Speaker 6: Hey A, Steve, Huh, I'm in D.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: What I mean, don't trying to be crying. I'm trying
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: to get some sleep. Shut up you in C. Hey,
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: can y'all suppose a DOS light?
- 1:22:57Speaker 13: I'm in A.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: I can't sleep with this light and my y'all ain't
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: got no blood you want to switch to.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Totally missed the point. All right, we're moving on. Would
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: you rather be in a bad relationship for the rest
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of your life? Would you rather be in a bad
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: relationship for the rest of your life? Or would you
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: rather have no relationship at all? Oh?
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I can fall in love with the hell with me
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: all day?
- 1:23:27Speaker 10: Yeah, I gotta go with A.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: I gotta have somebody take care of me.
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: Can be.
- 1:23:35Speaker 10: There?
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: You just to get a one thing about it, Judi,
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: If you get in there, you gonna get eight. I
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: won't answer. He and bed ay, I did too far
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: from the damn TV.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Rather coming up in forty.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Wonder and it don't close. It be drafty in there.
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: We'll close out the show with the one I know,
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: Steve Harvey. Right after that, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: Harvey Morning Show. It's a new year, so why not
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: make it a new year. It's hard to find people
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: who are good at what they do. It's like, if
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: you're hiring, how can you find the best people for
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: your roles?
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Zip Recruiters.
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: If you're hiring for your company, this is a busy
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: time of year for you because you've got new twenty
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: twenty five goals betweens finding.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: The right people to accomplish them.
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: Zip Recruiter is the hiring side employers for the most
- 1:24:28Speaker 7: based on G two Try it four three at ZipRecruiter
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: dot com slash strawberry. That's ZipRecruiter dot com slash strawberry.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: the day on this Tuesday, and I've been a good day.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Assle closing remarks.
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: You know, in light of yesterday, first of all being Mlkday,
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: first of all, coming off the heels of my birthday,
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: and behind all of that, it was the inauguration of
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: a new president. I've been watching this play out on television.
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: I've watched the reaction on Fox. I've watched a lot
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: of the reaction on CNN. I've watched Trump revoke nearly
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: eighty Biden executive actions. I watched him pardon all fifteen
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: hundred protesters, no matter what their crimes were, for the
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: January sixth insurrection. I watched him pardon the head of
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: the Proud Boys, the chief of the Proud Boys, who
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: have been sentenced to twenty two years. He pardoned him.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: I'm saying all this to say this, you all, this
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: is who the American public voted for. I'm only hoping
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: that some good comes out of this for the common
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: man's sake. I already know it's going to work. I
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: just find for the rich. I already know that, but
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: I am deeply concerned about how it's going to pan
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: out for the common man. So here's my suggestion to you.
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: Stop moaning about the fact that he's president, because that
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: is not going to change. He is the president of
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: the United States. You can stop making the negative remarks
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: you can talking about he ain't this. He told you
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: who he was and what he was going to do,
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: and so far he's doing just that. So the surprise
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: of it all, you got to remove that here's my
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: suggestion to you. If you have any faith at all,
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: connect yourself with your faith. In other words, if you
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: know God, get in close contact with you. If you
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: don't know God, introduce yourself. He knows exactly who you are.
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: He made you, and he's been waiting patiently for your attention.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: See.
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: God is never far from you. We are usually far
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: from him. The other day, I was feeling a little
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: bit distant.
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: I was thinking to myself. I said, wow, man, I
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: gotta get a little bit more connected. And I really
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: I just had to analyze it.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: It's Steve.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: It's just you're not being as prayerful as you need
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: to be. You're not talking to God as much as
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: you should. God is available for all of us twenty
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: four to seven. He is never busy. God is always there.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: So whenever I.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: Feel distance, it's me. Y'all listen to me. If you
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: feel distant from God, it's you. God ain't going nowhere.
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: Is ever present if he's invited in. But God is
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: a gentleman too.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: God doesn't push his way into your life. He wants
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: to be invited into your life. Because God has everything
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: to offer you. You offer nothing to God. God don't
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: need you. God don't need you to accomplish nothing he
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: doing because guess what, he'll get somebody else. Somebody is
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: willing to do God's will and he uses guess what, y'all,
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: imperfect people. He uses people just like me. He uses
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: people just like you. God ain't looking for perfect people.
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: He's looking for people who are willing to do his will.
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: And you're not going to be perfect. You can stop
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: listening to these preachers on these airways talking to you
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: about perfection. I'll be online, man, I'd be deceived. I've
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: been running too a lot of preachers right. This is
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: evangelical guy who's preaching that if you have facial hair,
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: you can't go to heaven. What since the beginning of
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: time beard's hair? Are they ain't going to heaven because
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: they got facial hair. It's people doing some mix up stuff.
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: It's people talking about if you celebrate Christmas, you going
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: to hell for Christmas. Really, it's so many people that
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: have got this thing mixed up. They way listen to me, y'all,
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: get in touch with God, really, really get int your
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: touch with God.
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: If you can find you a good faith based church,
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: then that's a good thing. But get yourself a relationship
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: with God and understand who and how God really is man.
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: God loves you no matter what you've done. I don't
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: care how many mistakes you've made. God is in the
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: forgiving business. This is what's gonna get you the next
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: four get through you next four years, and get you
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: through the rest of these years. You gotta have God
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: because if you're waiting on the cavalry to come over
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: the hill, I'm sixty eight years old. The cavalry is
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: yet to arrive. You know. I actually used to look
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: for it. I used to actually wait on the cavalry
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: to come over the hill. I've nobody's ever come to
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: save me except God. He has used certain people, but
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: it has been God because most people that helped me
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: didn't even really know what they were doing on my behalf.
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: It's just God just touched them and they put some
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: I remember a dude named Charlie Williams and Augusta Georgia
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: who owned a company, a glass replacement company, Charlie Williams
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: Auto Glass. I was homeless and he didn't know it.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: And I had a cooler in the back of my
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: car and he saw it and he filled it up
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: with food. One day he said a matter. I say,
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: you had a cooler back the outside. I saw you
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: was lower on some stuff. I put some stuff in
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: there for you. I don't know if he knew I
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: was homeless, but that helped me. Man make it another
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: two weeks. God sends people and puts people in your path.
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: God has every single thing you need everything. I strongly
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: suggest you get in touch with God because you leave.
