- 0:01Speaker 1: Impeachment is a word now that doesn't mean what it
- 0:04Speaker 1: used to mean, at least in this country. The word
- 0:07Speaker 1: impeachment used to actually mean something. Democrats have destroyed it
- 0:13Speaker 1: by the way that they went after Donald Trump with
- 0:15Speaker 1: impeachment now once but twice. Now it's a political play.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It's no longer about are you actually breaking laws or
- 0:21Speaker 1: undermined the country you're supposed to be protecting and representing.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Impeachment has now been tainted, and so it is a
- 0:30Speaker 1: idea that when people hear it, they kind of just
- 0:33Speaker 1: rolled their eyes.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I think they rolled their eyes.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Because I think they realized how ridiculous it is that
- 0:38Speaker 1: what happened the last time. And look, there were people
- 0:40Speaker 1: that were in favor of the impeachment last time. To
- 0:42Speaker 1: be clear, right, there were people that were completely in
- 0:45Speaker 1: favor of impeachment, and it was because they wanted to
- 0:51Speaker 1: take out Donald Trump politically. They knew Donald Trump wasn't
- 0:55Speaker 1: colluding with the Russians. They knew that that report was
- 0:58Speaker 1: paid for and created out of thin air by the
- 0:59Speaker 1: Democrat They know that Hillary Clinton was one of the
- 1:02Speaker 1: ones funding the Steele dossier. They knew that the FBI
- 1:06Speaker 1: knew that the Steele dossier was alied. They knew that
- 1:09Speaker 1: they couldn't corroborate that he couldn't corroborate the stories within
- 1:11Speaker 1: the Stele dossier. In fact, the FBI offered him I
- 1:14Speaker 1: think it was over a million dollars to substantiate the
- 1:18Speaker 1: claims of the dossier, and he couldn't do it. So
- 1:20Speaker 1: that should tell you an awful lot about it as well. Right,
- 1:23Speaker 1: he couldn't even do that. Now, why couldn't he do that?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Why why could he not do that? Because he made
- 1:33Speaker 1: it up. Democrats made it up. They all lied, They
- 1:36Speaker 1: all knew what they were doing. They were lying the
- 1:39Speaker 1: entire time. The problem now is when people here impeachment,
- 1:43Speaker 1: a lot of people go to their left, they go
- 1:45Speaker 1: to the right, and it turns into a political moment.
- 1:49Speaker 1: They say, Okay, I'm going to my team here. You
- 1:51Speaker 1: guys on the other side, y'all are just abusing power,
- 1:53Speaker 1: y'all are idiots, or you're just trying to take out
- 1:55Speaker 1: your political opponent. That's why I say Republicans have to
- 1:58Speaker 1: be very careful because this could backfire and actually solidify
- 2:04Speaker 1: support that is wavering for Joe Biden. People are starting
- 2:09Speaker 1: to cover the story of Joe Biden. They are okay,
- 2:12Speaker 1: people are starting to realize and understand it. But if
- 2:16Speaker 1: you turn it into a partisan issue by going through
- 2:20Speaker 1: impeachment too early, then it can backfire on you on
- 2:24Speaker 1: a very, very big way. I'll give you an example
- 2:29Speaker 1: of why I say this, because I want to be clear.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I'm in favor of impeaching Joe Biden because I think there's
- 2:33Speaker 1: evidence to impeach him. I want to be careful and
- 2:35Speaker 1: win and how and where we do it. Look at
- 2:38Speaker 1: what happens every single time they indict Donald Trump. The
- 2:41Speaker 1: charges are absurd, right, we know that, but they keep
- 2:44Speaker 1: doing it. And why they keep doing it. Democrats believe
- 2:48Speaker 1: that that Donald Trump is the easiest person to beat
- 2:50Speaker 1: in the general election. So they're going to keep indicting him,
- 2:53Speaker 1: win and wherever they can, regardless of the facts, because
- 2:56Speaker 1: they believe.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It guarantees him the primary.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And what happens when they go after Donald Trump, the
- 3:03Speaker 1: base rallies behind him. The exact same thing will happen
- 3:07Speaker 1: if we go for impeaching Hunter Biden or excuse me,
- 3:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden over Hunter Biden and Biden corruption. The same
- 3:13Speaker 1: exact thing's going to happen. The same exact thing is
- 3:17Speaker 1: going to happen, and other Republicans have gone on the
- 3:22Speaker 1: record now as saying that there is a clear plan
- 3:25Speaker 1: to launch an impeachment inquiry into Biden this month, meaning September. Now,
- 3:31Speaker 1: three separate GOP led committees have investigated allegations that Hunter
- 3:36Speaker 1: Biden leveraged his father's official government positions to secure foreign
- 3:42Speaker 1: business deals. The open question for Republican lawmakers is whether
- 3:47Speaker 1: President Biden ever personally benefited from his son's deals or
- 3:52Speaker 1: abused the power of his office to influence them in
- 3:56Speaker 1: any way. McCarthy said last month impeachment inquiry would only
- 4:01Speaker 1: happen with a formal House vote. McCarthy said at the time,
- 4:05Speaker 1: quote to open an impeachment inquiry is a serious matter,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and House Republicans would not take it lightly or use
- 4:14Speaker 1: it for political purposes. The American people deserve to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: heard on this matter through their elected representatives, McCarthy said
- 4:22Speaker 1: in an interview with Breitbart. He then went on to
- 4:26Speaker 1: say that's why if we move forward with an impeachment inquiry,
- 4:31Speaker 1: it would occur through a vote on the four of
- 4:34Speaker 1: the House and not through a declaration by one person.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That means, in translation, that two hundred and eighteen lawmakers
- 4:43Speaker 1: will need to support an impeachment inquiry against Biden, and
- 4:48Speaker 1: it is not at all certain House Republicans have the
- 4:51Speaker 1: votes to do it. Several GOP lawmakers, including Representative Ken Buck,
- 4:56Speaker 1: a Republican from Colorado, and Representative Don Bacon, a Republican
- 5:01Speaker 1: from Nebraska, have both voiced skepticism about impeachment. Even Somehow's
- 5:08Speaker 1: conservatives who support impeachment have complained about the timing. Representative
- 5:14Speaker 1: Dan bishop As, a Republican from North Carolina, said to
- 5:18Speaker 1: Fox News last week that it appeared McCarthy was quote
- 5:22Speaker 1: dangling the issue to avoid a confrontation over spending ahead
- 5:26Speaker 1: of the next deadline to fund the government. Now, the
- 5:31Speaker 1: House Freedom Caucus and other conservative groups have urged McCarthy
- 5:37Speaker 1: to force a deeper spending cut, deeper spending cuts in general,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and to attach GOP priorities to any short term or
- 5:46Speaker 1: long term spending deal that would keep the government open
- 5:50Speaker 1: that's unlikely by the way, to get through the Senate
- 5:52Speaker 1: or the White House and to get a signature for approval.
- 5:57Speaker 1: They view the last debt limit deal as a betrayal
- 6:01Speaker 1: because it did not significantly curtail government spending. This is
- 6:06Speaker 1: part of how why it was so hard for Ken
- 6:08Speaker 1: McCarthy to get the Speaker's job, because many Republicans said
- 6:12Speaker 1: he wasn't doing enough to stop out of control government spending.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Representative Chip Roy, a friend of mine from Texas, warn
- 6:21Speaker 1: GOP leaders earlier this month this hiding quote behind impeachment
- 6:27Speaker 1: to screw America with status quo massive funding will not
- 6:32Speaker 1: end well. In other words, he's saying, don't try to
- 6:35Speaker 1: show me a nice shiny object in this hand while
- 6:38Speaker 1: you're screwing me in the other hand.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And look at what Chip Roy.
- 6:41Speaker 1: By the way, he has a lot of people in
- 6:43Speaker 1: the Freedom Caucus and a lot of conservatives around him.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Look at the words he chose. He wasn't messing around.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna read it again, hiding behind impeachment to screw
- 6:52Speaker 1: America with status quo massive funding will not end well.
- 6:57Speaker 1: In other words, if you think you can give us
- 6:59Speaker 1: impeach will shut up on government spending, your wrong. If
- 7:03Speaker 1: you think you can trade out of control government spending
- 7:05Speaker 1: for an impeachment inquiry or a vote on impeachment, you're wrong.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Now there's a narrow house majority, Republicans can only afford
- 7:14Speaker 1: to lose five votes from their conference in an impeachment
- 7:18Speaker 1: inquiry vote. To be clear, I would already say that
- 7:21Speaker 1: they've lost three, possibly four, just based on the quotes
- 7:24Speaker 1: that I gave you a moment ago from Republicans who
- 7:27Speaker 1: are on the record, and those Republicans that I mentioned
- 7:30Speaker 1: are from states where impeachment probably won't play well with
- 7:34Speaker 1: the voters.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Colorado is a great example. It's a more liberal state.
- 7:40Speaker 1: At the same time as all this is going on,
- 7:44Speaker 1: impeachment hardliners right like Representative Matt Gates have also threatened
- 7:50Speaker 1: to attempt to remove Kevin McCarthy if the House does
- 7:53Speaker 1: not follow three with impeachment vote, something he says he
- 7:57Speaker 1: will pay off on the Speaker of the House. Kevin
- 8:01Speaker 1: McCarthy's office has not responded to requests for comment. Why
- 8:05Speaker 1: because they clearly wanted to leak this out and see
- 8:07Speaker 1: how it was going to play out after.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They leaked it.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That's what they're clearly trying to do, which makes sense. Actually,
- 8:15Speaker 1: now Republicans have to be careful here that they don't
- 8:20Speaker 1: screw this up, because the American people right now seem
- 8:24Speaker 1: to be coming around to the idea in the polls
- 8:28Speaker 1: that the President is clearly corrupt and compromised. If you
- 8:33Speaker 1: move too soon towards impeachment, you can screw the whole
- 8:38Speaker 1: thing up. You can screw it up big time. If
- 8:41Speaker 1: you go too quickly, you can screw all of this up.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I want you to hear what was said by David Brooks.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He was on PBS News Hour. David Brook's not a
- 8:53Speaker 1: hardcore conservative, but he had this to say about the
- 8:57Speaker 1: Hunter Biden story and that Hunter was selling influence and
- 9:02Speaker 1: influence pedaling on his dad's name. He even said, as
- 9:06Speaker 1: a liberal on PBS quote, I underestimated the Hunter's story.
- 9:12Speaker 3: This week, though, we learned federal prosecutors will be moving
- 9:16Speaker 3: ahead with an indictment against Hunter Biden, was likely related
- 9:19Speaker 3: to gun charges expected by the end of the month. David,
- 9:23Speaker 3: as you well know, those questions around Hunter Biden continue
- 9:26Speaker 3: to fuel Republicans' threats to impeach President Biden. Is this
- 9:32Speaker 3: becoming a liability for the president?
- 9:34Speaker 4: Well, it's certainly a liability, you know, it sort of
- 9:37Speaker 4: feeds into the narrative. He's part of the Washington establishment.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Everybody's self dealing, so that's a liability. The gun charge,
- 9:43Speaker 4: you know, he was a sick man Frankly who had
- 9:46Speaker 4: some drug issues, and the gun charge to me is
- 9:48Speaker 4: an ancillary issue. To me. I want to know he
- 9:51Speaker 4: was clearly trying to pedal influence. Did he successfully pedal influence?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Was any any law change that Joe Biden's policies changed
- 9:59Speaker 4: to Joe Biden said any of those meetings. I kind
- 10:02Speaker 4: of doubt it on all counts, But I do think
- 10:04Speaker 4: now I've sort of underestimated the Hunter Biden story. I
- 10:07Speaker 4: think it's probably worth a look to see if there
- 10:10Speaker 4: was actual influence peddling. But for the Republicans talk about impeachment,
- 10:14Speaker 4: you gotta have a crime, like you got to have
- 10:16Speaker 4: some accusation you can make, and they don't really have
- 10:19Speaker 4: anything right now. It's worth looking into, but they're way
- 10:21Speaker 4: premature and talking about impeachment.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Jonathan, What do you make of that? Is Is it
- 10:25Speaker 3: worth a look by both the Department of Justice and
- 10:28Speaker 3: House Republicans as they say they want to do.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Well, It's worth a look by the Department of Justice
- 10:34Speaker 5: because they're already looking, and with a special counsel having
- 10:38Speaker 5: already been appointed, there apparently is a reason to look.
- 10:41Speaker 5: But the one thing I want folks to remember and
- 10:44Speaker 5: to always remember, and that is the legal predicament surrounding
- 10:49Speaker 5: Hunter Biden, the son of the president. It is nowhere
- 10:53Speaker 5: near and it is not the same as what is
- 10:56Speaker 5: facing the former president twice impeached, four times, indicted on
- 11:02Speaker 5: ninety one counts in four different jurisdictions. I mean, they're Republicans,
- 11:09Speaker 5: especially congressional Republicans, have been spending a lot of time
- 11:12Speaker 5: trying to focus attention on Hunter Biden and the quote
- 11:15Speaker 5: unquote weaponization of the Justice Department because of what is
- 11:19Speaker 5: happening to Donald Trump.
- 11:21Speaker 1: By the way, I wanted you to hear the response
- 11:24Speaker 1: there because you need to understand what Democrats are gonna do.
- 11:28Speaker 1: You hear this shocking moment from Brooks of honesty. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: underestimated the Hunter Biden's story. Hunter was trying to pedal
- 11:35Speaker 1: influence and then immediately they go back to well, but
- 11:38Speaker 1: it's nothing compared to what Donald Trump did. You heard
- 11:42Speaker 1: it right there, attack dog, get on there, bring it
- 11:45Speaker 1: go all in, yell, scream, rant, rave, talk about you
- 11:49Speaker 1: don't understand how bad it is for the bid for
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Trumps. This is nothing compared to what you guys
- 11:55Speaker 1: are looking at. This is nothing compared to what's going
- 11:58Speaker 1: on right now with Donald J.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Trump. That's their argument.
- 12:02Speaker 1: That's their response, Well, you think we're bad, you've got indictments.
- 12:05Speaker 2: We don't.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I will say this a different way. Republicans have to
- 12:13Speaker 1: be very careful that if we do this, we do
- 12:16Speaker 1: it the right way, because the media is going to
- 12:18Speaker 1: turn on it quickly. The media is going to turn
- 12:21Speaker 1: on this thing so freaking fast, and they're going to
- 12:24Speaker 1: turn this into a partisan issue so quick. And if
- 12:26Speaker 1: we are just now getting people around the idea that
- 12:29Speaker 1: there's corruption, the American people, I don't think are to
- 12:33Speaker 1: the point of impeachment yet. They're just now finding out
- 12:38Speaker 1: about the basics of this, folks, And we have to
- 12:41Speaker 1: be very careful that we don't give them a gift
- 12:45Speaker 1: by this becoming a partisan issue, so then they don't
- 12:49Speaker 1: have to listen and understand just how corrupt the Biden
- 12:53Speaker 1: crime family actually is. That is my concern, and I
- 12:57Speaker 1: think you can understand why, because what's the point of
- 13:01Speaker 1: doing this if we're not going to make it effective
- 13:05Speaker 1: and if it backfires on us, what's the point of
- 13:07Speaker 1: doing it?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Now?
- 13:09Speaker 1: There's also other issues at play here that we should
- 13:12Speaker 1: talk about and we should use to our advantage.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We'll give you an example.
- 13:15Speaker 1: On nine to eleven, it was leaked President Joe Biden
- 13:19Speaker 1: has now bowed down to Iran and we are going
- 13:22Speaker 1: to pay them six billion dollars for five Americans in
- 13:27Speaker 1: exchange for five Iranian prisoners. Then, on top of that,
- 13:33Speaker 1: the President and the White House are now claiming that
- 13:35Speaker 1: the six billion dollars for five Americans in exchange for
- 13:39Speaker 1: five Iranian prisoners. So we're we're not just giving them
- 13:43Speaker 1: a prisoner shop here, We're giving them six billion dollars.
- 13:46Speaker 1: The White House claims, Oh, don't worry. The money will
- 13:50Speaker 1: only be used to purchase humanitarian goods, So you don't
- 13:53Speaker 1: have to worry if you believe that you're an idiot.
- 13:56Speaker 2: This is Iran.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Iran killed more American soldiers, was responsible for killing more
- 14:02Speaker 1: American soldiers than any other country when we were in
- 14:05Speaker 1: Afghanistan Iraq. How do I know that Because they were
- 14:08Speaker 1: the ones that were giving safe harbor to terrorists and
- 14:11Speaker 1: save passage of terrorists that were coming in to kill us.
- 14:13Speaker 1: They were also the number one maker of the roadside
- 14:16Speaker 1: bombs that were blowing up American soldiers. They are a
- 14:19Speaker 1: state sponsor of terrorism. And when America got to Afghanistan.
- 14:22Speaker 1: When America got to Iraq, Iran went full force into
- 14:27Speaker 1: war to kill American soldiers. And now the Biden administration
- 14:33Speaker 1: has reproved a deal with Iran to pay the rogue
- 14:37Speaker 1: regimes six billion in exchange for five detained American citizens.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The deal, according to the Associated Press, entailed the Biden
- 14:46Speaker 1: administration issuing a blanket waiver for international banks to transfer
- 14:52Speaker 1: six billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to
- 14:57Speaker 1: Qatar without US sanctions. He would then be held in
- 15:00Speaker 1: Guitar Central Bank for RAND to use, reportedly for the
- 15:04Speaker 1: purchase of humanitarian goods.
- 15:05Speaker 2: That's a joke.
- 15:07Speaker 1: In addition, the Biden administration agreed to release five Iranian
- 15:13Speaker 1: cistens held in the US. So not only we give
- 15:16Speaker 1: them six billion, we're giving them five Iranian ciszens. I'm
- 15:20Speaker 1: assuming you're involved in some sort of terrorism. I'm having
- 15:24Speaker 1: more on that story coming up in a moment. Why
- 15:30Speaker 1: would you do that, by the way, on nine to eleven,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean, if there's anything that they would teach you
- 15:36Speaker 1: in politics one oh one, it's like, Hey, if you're
- 15:38Speaker 1: going to release some terrorists, don't do it on the
- 15:40Speaker 1: anniversary of nine to eleven, especially when it's like Iran,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and yet here we are having this conversation where the
- 15:48Speaker 1: President is going to transfer six million, six billion dollars.
- 15:53Speaker 1: According to the Associated Press, the Secretary of State Anthony
- 15:56Speaker 1: Blincoln signed off on the deal late last week, but
- 15:59Speaker 1: Congress was not known of the deal until Monday, which
- 16:01Speaker 1: was nine eleven, the twenty second anniversary of the US
- 16:06Speaker 1: suffering terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists. And that's the day
- 16:09Speaker 1: we tell them. Oh, by the way, we're sending six
- 16:11Speaker 1: billion dollars to Iran, who was killing American soldiers. The
- 16:16Speaker 1: deal appears to go against the US policy by the way,
- 16:19Speaker 1: of not paying countries to release American prisoners. Right, this
- 16:22Speaker 1: is ransom money so as not to incentivize the behavior
- 16:27Speaker 1: of capturing Americans. According to report, the transfer of the
- 16:31Speaker 1: six billion was the critical element in the prisoner swap deal.
- 16:35Speaker 1: The six billion. So we're giving them humans, and we're
- 16:38Speaker 1: giving them six billion, more than a billion a person.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Some European nations reportedly balked at participating in the transfer.
- 16:46Speaker 1: By the way, but don't worry, then, Joe Biden, the
- 16:49Speaker 1: big guy and his administration's blanket waiver was aimed at
- 16:54Speaker 1: easing their concerns. The AP notes this morning. The waiver
- 16:59Speaker 1: is likely to draw criticism a President Joe Biden from
- 17:02Speaker 1: Republicans and others that the deal will boost the Iranian
- 17:06Speaker 1: economy at a time when Iran poses a growing threat
- 17:09Speaker 1: to US troops and Mid East allies. It's also a
- 17:17Speaker 1: part here where it's just in competency, and the amount
- 17:21Speaker 1: of incompetency here makes me angry. There is no way, okay,
- 17:31Speaker 1: at all, there's no way that you can guarantee that
- 17:34Speaker 1: the six billion dollars is going to be used for
- 17:38Speaker 1: humanitarian reasons. Like that's not possible, okay, Like that's not
- 17:44Speaker 1: something that's possible. Iran can funnel the six billion out
- 17:52Speaker 1: of Katar and claim it's for humanitarian things. They can
- 17:57Speaker 1: do that, but I promise you this, they're going to
- 18:00Speaker 1: use it for whatever the hell they want to. The
- 18:03Speaker 1: other part of this is when was the last time
- 18:06Speaker 1: Iran was known for doing anything in a humanitarian fashion?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Did? Did?
- 18:11Speaker 1: And again, this is a question that would have been
- 18:13Speaker 1: asked the meeting, But of course they they're not asking
- 18:15Speaker 1: that question because they already know they they already know
- 18:21Speaker 1: that that's not going to happen. So it's it's it's
- 18:24Speaker 1: part of the lie, right because if you were having
- 18:27Speaker 1: a normal administration meeting, someone has been like, hey, when
- 18:30Speaker 1: was the last time that Iran ever did anything on
- 18:33Speaker 1: a on a humanitarian basis? Like when when did that?
- 18:40Speaker 1: When did that happen? And the answer to you, they don't, right, like, like,
- 18:45Speaker 1: that's not what they do. That's not how any of
- 18:48Speaker 1: this works. It's not how this that's not how they
- 18:51Speaker 1: do any of this. So instead, we're giving six billion
- 18:57Speaker 1: to a terrorist organization that's going to use six billion
- 19:01Speaker 1: to kill people, claiming the money is going to be
- 19:03Speaker 1: used for humanitarian reasons, while also giving up these five
- 19:09Speaker 1: different Iranians that we have in our custody in the
- 19:11Speaker 1: United States America. I'm still trying to find out more
- 19:14Speaker 1: about these Iranians. We don't know anything about them yet
- 19:17Speaker 1: because the White House seems to be keeping that very quiet. Now,
- 19:21Speaker 1: if you just do a quick step back on the
- 19:24Speaker 1: anniversary nine to eleven, let's be clear. Now you have
- 19:27Speaker 1: a president that bowed to Iran on nine to eleven.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You have a president that paid six billion to and
- 19:32Speaker 1: gave up five Iranian prisoners in an exchange for five
- 19:37Speaker 1: Americans with a country that clearly is a rogue nation
- 19:40Speaker 1: that sponsors terrorism, has killed American soldiers. They Iran is
- 19:45Speaker 1: responsible for more limbs lost on Americans in Iraq and
- 19:48Speaker 1: Afghanian than any other country because of their bombs that
- 19:51Speaker 1: they that they allowed to be made in their country
- 19:53Speaker 1: and they gave to the terrorists. They gave save Hayesan
- 19:56Speaker 1: to Isis and al Qaida. And then you combine with
- 20:00Speaker 1: Biden breaking a twenty two year tradition. He spent nine
- 20:04Speaker 1: to eleven not at White House or the site of
- 20:07Speaker 1: this attack. Right, they said it's just time to move on.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That was their logic here. Yeah, President Biden was taking
- 20:15Speaker 1: fire from some families of nine to eleven victims for
- 20:17Speaker 1: being the first president twenty two years to not spend
- 20:19Speaker 1: nine to eleven in an attack site or at the
- 20:21Speaker 1: White House. According to the new report, the family slammed
- 20:25Speaker 1: Biden for spending nine to eleven in quote Alaska, but
- 20:28Speaker 1: just part of the day where he is following up
- 20:31Speaker 1: on a trip to India and Vietnam discussed climate change.
- 20:36Speaker 1: He then tacked on Alaska, claiming he was doing something there. Now,
- 20:42Speaker 1: Biden did do one thing. He visited the memorial of
- 20:46Speaker 1: his friend, the late Senner John McCain and Vietnam. On Monday,
- 20:51Speaker 1: he kissed the memorial, telling reporters traveling with him that
- 20:53Speaker 1: it was important that he visited the site, as McCain
- 20:57Speaker 1: was a quote good friend.
- 21:01Speaker 2: That, by the way, is not connected to nine to eleven.
- 21:04Speaker 1: But I guess they thought, oh, that's good enough, right,
- 21:06Speaker 1: we'll check that box so that you can't criticize him.
- 21:11Speaker 1: One of the victims said, if our leader is so
- 21:13Speaker 1: willing to not show up to the memorial service, it's
- 21:16Speaker 1: showing the message that Americans have forgotten and then it's
- 21:20Speaker 1: okay to forget. Unfortunately, for myself and for all other
- 21:23Speaker 1: families and those joining with us this morning, we have
- 21:26Speaker 1: no way of forgetting. This is something that forever changed
- 21:29Speaker 1: our lives, and this is something that we're going to
- 21:31Speaker 1: live with forever, even if the rest of the country
- 21:34Speaker 1: can let this be a day they do forget. White
- 21:39Speaker 1: House Press Secretary Jean Pierre said at a press conference
- 21:41Speaker 1: three days ago about nine to eleven. She said, quote
- 21:46Speaker 1: on nine to eleven, Look, the President is going to
- 21:47Speaker 1: mark the anniversary of September the eleventh, the Texas Year
- 21:50Speaker 1: in Alaska as you just mentioned with service members and
- 21:54Speaker 1: their families, and as he does every year, as he's
- 21:57Speaker 1: done this every year, he plans to honor the lives
- 22:00Speaker 1: lost in the families and loved ones who will fill
- 22:03Speaker 1: the pain of the terrible day. This is something he
- 22:06Speaker 1: feels is very important to do. We can only imagine
- 22:09Speaker 1: the heartbreak and the pain that the nine eleven families
- 22:12Speaker 1: have felt every day for the past twenty two years.
- 22:16Speaker 1: John Pierre concluded, saying this, So I know the families
- 22:18Speaker 1: have have certainly been on this on the mind recently
- 22:22Speaker 1: in recent days, and they will continue to be to
- 22:25Speaker 1: be on the mind as we approach the anniversary, as
- 22:27Speaker 1: you know, is coming up Monday. In other words, asker,
- 22:31Speaker 1: you guys, here's your lip service. We're too busy working
- 22:35Speaker 1: a deal with a Ran right now now. So far
- 22:38Speaker 1: we have not been able to figure out exactly what
- 22:41Speaker 1: the deal is. We don't know, okay, we don't know
- 22:46Speaker 1: what the deal is and who these Iranians are that
- 22:48Speaker 1: we're giving back. And the reason why we don't know
- 22:51Speaker 1: is because I'm sure they don't want us to know
- 22:54Speaker 1: who it is. They're terrified of who these Iranians are
- 23:01Speaker 1: and that it's going to get out before we hurry
- 23:03Speaker 1: up and do the deal and move on. But telling
- 23:06Speaker 1: Congress on the anniversary nine to eleven, God help us,
- 23:10Speaker 1: and I mean that sincerely when I say that God
- 23:13Speaker 1: help us. This is a president of the United States of America,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and I would argue this deal with Iran is nothing
- 23:18Speaker 1: more than just being compromised. This is straight up a
- 23:23Speaker 1: president that I think is compromised in a way that
- 23:26Speaker 1: people can't even imagine. There's no logical reason to do
- 23:31Speaker 1: this deal. There's no logical reason to give six billion
- 23:36Speaker 1: dollars to a terrorist organization because Iran is a terrorist organization.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You can't tell me they're not. The facts back it up.
- 23:44Speaker 1: The facts clearly show that they are a terrorist organization,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and we're going to do that on the anniversary of
- 23:50Speaker 1: nine to eleven. So let me go back to what
- 23:53Speaker 1: I was saying a moment ago about impeachment. The American
- 23:58Speaker 1: people seem to be turning on Joe Biden on their own.
- 24:03Speaker 1: We have to be careful that we don't stop that
- 24:06Speaker 1: momentum by pushing for impeachment, which we do not have
- 24:10Speaker 1: the votes for, by the way, in the Senate. That's
- 24:13Speaker 1: something that we need to really talk about we need
- 24:17Speaker 1: to be very strategic about when we start this impeachment
- 24:20Speaker 1: inquiry because it will galvanize the left and there will
- 24:23Speaker 1: be people that are not actually right now standing and
- 24:27Speaker 1: supporting Joe Biden that will then immediately go and stand
- 24:32Speaker 1: and support Joe Biden. That's part of what people need
- 24:37Speaker 1: to understand. I worry that if we move this too quickly,
- 24:43Speaker 1: if we go too fast, that we're going to get
- 24:46Speaker 1: ourselves in a situation where this will be one of
- 24:50Speaker 1: the biggest backfires we've ever seen, and that this will
- 24:54Speaker 1: galvanize the left. It will make them stand up for
- 24:57Speaker 1: Joe Biden. It will make them say to Joe o'biden, hey,
- 25:00Speaker 1: we're going to We're going to really defend you because
- 25:04Speaker 1: these Republicans instead of us listening to the crimes that
- 25:08Speaker 1: the Biden crime family has committed. I also understand the
- 25:13Speaker 1: votes and if we don't have the votes, and the
- 25:16Speaker 1: other question is this worth it to do this now?
- 25:20Speaker 1: While the presence prover ratings are an all time low,
- 25:23Speaker 1: this story is starting to finally.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Get to people.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You look at the CNN poll that came out. I'll
- 25:29Speaker 1: go back to what CNN said on their own TV
- 25:31Speaker 1: about this. Here's how they put it. The majority believe
- 25:34Speaker 1: Biden putting thumb on the scale of the Hunter probe.
- 25:38Speaker 6: And when you look here about President Biden now serving
- 25:41Speaker 6: as president, his actions in the Hunter Biden probe have
- 25:45Speaker 6: they been appropriate or not? Fifty five percent of Americans,
- 25:49Speaker 6: a majority, believe Biden's actions related to the Hunter Biden
- 25:53Speaker 6: probe inappropriate. Twenty four percent of Democrats again, a majority
- 25:57Speaker 6: of Independence fifty two percent, and nearly all Republicans at
- 25:59Speaker 6: nine percent believe that. And this is to show what
- 26:03Speaker 6: happens when you don't push back at all, which is
- 26:06Speaker 6: really basically what the White House has been doing. There's
- 26:08Speaker 6: not been a Hunter Biden defense kind of mounted in
- 26:12Speaker 6: a public relations way, and it's starting to seep through
- 26:15Speaker 6: beyond just the right wing echo chamber.
- 26:17Speaker 1: We're seeing it's starting to seep through. Well, if you
- 26:21Speaker 1: start impeachment, what do you think is going to happen?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 26:27Speaker 1: your friends, and I will see you back here tomorrow
