- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back at it. Uh huh. I shall

- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on now dig me if you will. Wanted only
- 2:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got radio show. Okay, sure'n be honest with y'all.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Was rushing rushing this morning. So but that's what it takes.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes you have to put forth a different kind
- 2:30Speaker 1: of effort, you know. One of the things about being successful.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And I was sharing this just the other day with
- 2:39Speaker 1: a young man and he asked me. He said, hey, man,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I just don't see how you get up that early
- 2:49Speaker 1: in the morning. I just don't see how man, it
- 2:52Speaker 1: would it would kill me to get up this early
- 2:55Speaker 1: in the morning. Well, I sat there and I'm listening
- 2:58Speaker 1: to it because it's just a thou sometimes I've heard it,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, and my life is, you know, not too
- 3:04Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's lives. There's a lot
- 3:06Speaker 1: of people out there that rise early. And I guess
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what he wanted from
- 3:11Speaker 1: me or how he wanted me to take what he said.
- 3:14Speaker 1: But I just said there, you know, just indifferent to
- 3:16Speaker 1: the tones because I've heard it so many times. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: don't know how you get up that early anymore. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't know how you do all them jobs. And I
- 3:22Speaker 1: just sit there, man, because I remember, first of all,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm grateful to be able to have a job. I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: so grateful to be able to do one and several
- 3:31Speaker 1: that I happened to enjoy doing. I mean, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: it's work, and it's difficult at times, but it's I mean,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you know, I wanted this. You know, you gotta you know,
- 3:40Speaker 1: you can't ask God for not then he give it
- 3:42Speaker 1: to you. Didn't be mad that you got it. Don't
- 3:43Speaker 1: make no sense. You know you're asking for something, me
- 3:46Speaker 1: give it to you. The problem with asking God for
- 3:49Speaker 1: stuff is a lot of times we're asking for stuff.
- 3:51Speaker 1: We don't really know what all it encompasses, what all
- 3:54Speaker 1: it really is. And I asked for this. Now along
- 3:57Speaker 1: the way I've gotten far more than I asked or
- 4:00Speaker 1: I want you to do. Understand that, and um, you
- 4:03Speaker 1: know that's that's his grace at work in my life.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But I get up early and I go to work
- 4:09Speaker 1: because I do understand something that it is not walking
- 4:13Speaker 1: up to you. Nobody walks up to people normally and
- 4:17Speaker 1: just hand them checks all the time, and enough checks
- 4:20Speaker 1: to sustain your life, and not only sustain it, but
- 4:23Speaker 1: to have a life that where you could enjoy and
- 4:26Speaker 1: do some of the things you want to do. That's
- 4:29Speaker 1: I don't know the person that walks out hands out
- 4:31Speaker 1: that money just to be doing it. And then with
- 4:34Speaker 1: a lifestyle though, where you can you know, give your
- 4:37Speaker 1: kids a Christmas, you know, take your family on vacation,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you know a year once a year. I don't know.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Nobody passed not to kind of money. So I get
- 4:44Speaker 1: up early in the morning. I get at it. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: was taught to get up early in the morning by
- 4:50Speaker 1: my father because my father says, ain't none gonna come
- 4:55Speaker 1: to you? Why are you laying now? And you know
- 4:57Speaker 1: what it's just true, man, it's just little common sense. Look,
- 5:01Speaker 1: old people smart man, they've been around long time. You
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't get you know, some old foods out there, but
- 5:06Speaker 1: you know you don't have to deal with them. But
- 5:07Speaker 1: the old people are pretty smart man. They've learned a
- 5:10Speaker 1: lot along the way. And waking up early and getting
- 5:12Speaker 1: out of it is one of them things. And I
- 5:14Speaker 1: ask everybody man to think about this scenario of your life.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I just want you to just I want to show
- 5:19Speaker 1: you some numbers. If a day has twenty four hours
- 5:22Speaker 1: in it, and let's just say you choose to sleep
- 5:26Speaker 1: eight of those hours because they tell you you need
- 5:30Speaker 1: eight hours sleep, so you sleep eight hours. That's a
- 5:34Speaker 1: third of your life asleep. Already, just a third of
- 5:39Speaker 1: your life is spent asleep. If you're gonna do eight
- 5:42Speaker 1: hours a day, you understand that a third of your
- 5:45Speaker 1: life is spent asleep. Now, let's say you have a
- 5:50Speaker 1: job that you work eight hours, and it's not the
- 5:52Speaker 1: job of your dreams. It's not your dream career, your
- 5:55Speaker 1: dream profession. It's just the one you took, like all
- 5:58Speaker 1: of us, to get its stalled it and then, like
- 6:01Speaker 1: all of us, some of us end up having the
- 6:03Speaker 1: state there because we've created these bills and we can't
- 6:05Speaker 1: because we check the check. So we can't leave it
- 6:08Speaker 1: because we'll lose what what we worked for. So let's
- 6:12Speaker 1: just say you got a job that you go to
- 6:13Speaker 1: work too for eight hours. That's another third of your life.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's two thirds of your life spent doing something. M
- 6:26Speaker 1: How do I put this to you? Oh, let's all right,
- 6:31Speaker 1: like Steve, just leave it there. That's two thirds of
- 6:33Speaker 1: your life. Feel how you want to feel about your
- 6:35Speaker 1: two thirds? When I like sleep? Okay, cool, that's a
- 6:38Speaker 1: scripture about that too. But now you spent two thirds
- 6:41Speaker 1: of your life one on a job you don't care
- 6:43Speaker 1: for if you're not happy there, or one that just
- 6:45Speaker 1: pays the bills and it's not your dream job of career.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Another third of your life is sleep. Oh now, let's
- 6:50Speaker 1: hold on. Let's talk about the one hour of preparation
- 6:54Speaker 1: that it may take to get to the job. Let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: just say you wake up, you know, brush your teeth, show,
- 7:00Speaker 1: will have a little breakfast, get dressed. Let's just say
- 7:02Speaker 1: that's an hour. So now we're talking sixteen hours, eight
- 7:06Speaker 1: hours sleep, eight hours on your job. That's sixteen hours
- 7:10Speaker 1: you got already time one hour. That's seventeen hours. Let's
- 7:15Speaker 1: say your drive time, let's say getting to your job
- 7:18Speaker 1: for the average person is anywhere between thirty two an hour.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That's an average of what it takes the average person.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Now some people out there hustling the way harder than that,
- 7:27Speaker 1: but let's just say your average is an hour getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: to work. You had another hour to that going to work.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You've now spent eighteen hours out of the twenty four
- 7:39Speaker 1: doing something that's either nonproductive, you're not happy with, you're
- 7:46Speaker 1: not pleased about. It's not your dream job, it's not
- 7:48Speaker 1: your dream profession. And the rest of the time you sleep.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Eighteen hours that's going to work. Now you gotta come
- 7:55Speaker 1: from the job, So let's just say it's another hour
- 7:57Speaker 1: to get back home. That's nineteen hours. Nineteen hour was
- 8:00Speaker 1: out of a twenty four hour day. A third of
- 8:02Speaker 1: it you've been asleep. A third of it. You've been
- 8:04Speaker 1: on the job that you're not happy with. You took
- 8:06Speaker 1: an hour to get ready to go to the job
- 8:08Speaker 1: that you're not happy with. That you've just been a
- 8:10Speaker 1: third of your life sleeping to get ready for. You
- 8:12Speaker 1: spend an hour getting there, and you spend an hour
- 8:14Speaker 1: getting back. That's nineteen hours out of twenty four hours.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You now have five hours left in your day. Oh
- 8:20Speaker 1: you watch TV two times, two hours a day. Okay,
- 8:23Speaker 1: excuse me. Let's put now you put two hours of
- 8:26Speaker 1: TV on that you've just been twenty one. You now
- 8:28Speaker 1: have three hours in the day to do something super
- 8:34Speaker 1: productive for the development of yourself and the future of
- 8:38Speaker 1: your family, and your future as a person and what
- 8:41Speaker 1: you can provide for your family. Oh, I need to chill,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I need to smoke one. Oh I needed some time
- 8:52Speaker 1: and happy How seemed like all I do is dry
- 8:55Speaker 1: to work and go to work. I'm gonna go out
- 8:57Speaker 1: with the fellas drink one. Okay, Let's say you spend
- 9:02Speaker 1: two hours at happy I nobody go to a happy hour,
- 9:05Speaker 1: just four hour. Let's say he's been two hours at
- 9:07Speaker 1: happy Hour, all smoking, awesome video games and throw that
- 9:10Speaker 1: in there. Two hours of smoking, chilling, reading the paper,
- 9:13Speaker 1: video games, and that's twenty three hours of your day going.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Don't you see how your day slips away from you?
- 9:21Speaker 1: So why would you get up early? You get up
- 9:24Speaker 1: early to get a jump, You get up early to produce,
- 9:28Speaker 1: to plan, to become productive. You get up early in
- 9:32Speaker 1: the morning to care about every single minute of your day.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You wake up early in the morning because you have
- 9:38Speaker 1: a plan, a mission, You have something you want to accomplish,
- 9:42Speaker 1: So you wake up early, and you as the earlier
- 9:45Speaker 1: you get up, the more time you have just for
- 9:47Speaker 1: you to devote to your plan. You map it out,
- 9:50Speaker 1: You make some sense, some emails, you do some Google searches,
- 9:54Speaker 1: whatever it is you need to do to get your
- 9:57Speaker 1: dream under way. Then you go get ready, Then you
- 10:01Speaker 1: get in your car and go to work. Then you
- 10:03Speaker 1: go to your job. But on your job, instead of
- 10:05Speaker 1: sitting at your lunch break messing around with a bunch
- 10:08Speaker 1: of people laughing and talking about nothing, playing dominoes, why
- 10:11Speaker 1: don't you take that hour to do some more research,
- 10:14Speaker 1: to do some more Google it, to send out some
- 10:16Speaker 1: more emails. Do something. Man, with all these precious hours
- 10:21Speaker 1: that God gives all of us in the course of
- 10:23Speaker 1: a day, take advantage of every minute of that. No
- 10:27Speaker 1: human being has more than twenty four hours a day,
- 10:31Speaker 1: including myself. But if you care about every single minute
- 10:35Speaker 1: of that day, you'd be amazed at how much you
- 10:38Speaker 1: could get accomplished in a twenty four hour day. But
- 10:42Speaker 1: you can't get none of that happening because you sleep
- 10:46Speaker 1: and you're chilling and you're smoking. Okay, what has that
- 10:51Speaker 1: done for you? Your family or your future? Care about
- 10:55Speaker 1: every minute of your day? You're listening to ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls are people anywhere in this world? Let
- 11:09Speaker 1: me tell you what's happening right now. You're tuned in
- 11:12Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvard Morning Show. Here, if I may
- 11:17Speaker 1: say so myself, Pere, Good morning, Shirley, Good morning, Steve,

- 11:36Speaker 1: about how Junior said good morning, strong morning. Yeah, that's
- 11:41Speaker 1: that's that. Ain't gonna last. He can't stay it. That
- 11:44Speaker 1: registered way too. I can't stay it. I'm back right there.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That took everything out of you. I can do Good morning? Uncle?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Ye did everybody? So? Somebody asked me, how to mintring
- 12:03Speaker 1: is going? Hey? How the minting? Honor? Go with you? Junior?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Tommy splendid with Tommy? Ain't heard from it? Talk to St.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Patty's day. That can't go. Okay, wait a minute, maybe
- 12:23Speaker 1: maybe we can. What are you doing with Junior that
- 12:25Speaker 1: maybe you can. Well. First of all, Tommy wasn't gonna
- 12:29Speaker 1: show up on St. Patty's Day because he was busy.
- 12:32Speaker 1: What do you mean busy? He's not. You know, they
- 12:36Speaker 1: had a lot of Leper cars. Short, I'm not gonna
- 12:44Speaker 1: do this. I'm talking about y'all don't know nothing. Body
- 12:48Speaker 1: tried to keep that gig secret from it. One show
- 12:55Speaker 1: your dog like Leper Car Magic could be on the seventeen. Okay. Still,
- 13:06Speaker 1: then there was the yeah what happened? Then? Okay, whose
- 13:12Speaker 1: fault is it? Now? Well, I'll tell you what it show,
- 13:15Speaker 1: ain't you He he don't really feel like fooling with me.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He likes to get on this radio and do all this,
- 13:23Speaker 1: but really, ain't My uncle ain't interested in doing nothing
- 13:26Speaker 1: with me. He he loved me, you know, but he
- 13:29Speaker 1: he loved me from a distance. Yeah, he loved me
- 13:33Speaker 1: from what part? He didn't say that much. What part?
- 13:41Speaker 1: But hands down, see I would help him. It's so
- 13:47Speaker 1: easy for me to do, but he ain't asked me
- 13:51Speaker 1: one time. You can call text, you could do anything.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We're in a tech text society. Now, he ke won'ting
- 13:59Speaker 1: this sit down, But at that time I turn around.
- 14:02Speaker 1: He got family duty, his family duty, damn new jury duty.
- 14:07Speaker 1: He had the park, he had to school. It was,
- 14:10Speaker 1: it was, it was, it was spring break. Ain't got
- 14:14Speaker 1: no problem with that, will be full spring break technology. U.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Somebody offered me this,
- 14:20Speaker 1: what's your thoughts? Then I could text him back. He well,
- 14:24Speaker 1: maybe that's showing the kind of that is something funny.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you how mentoring works. Okay, and we
- 14:32Speaker 1: have something else planned for you on thirty something funny. Alright, So, uh,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Steve just mentioned we'll be back with thirty something funny
- 14:40Speaker 1: at thirty two after you're listening to the Steve Hardy
- 14:44Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now, before we went to break, we were
- 14:47Speaker 1: talking about the mentoring between you and your nephew. Steve
- 14:50Speaker 1: nephew tell me, of course kind of hasn't happened yet.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You know, you guys are both busy. We are, but
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know he know where Nil as busy as I'm not.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm not closed, but I'm about half of that though
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'd been moving and shaking that I'll be trying. I
- 15:08Speaker 1: got off you had a few days off, Steve. Didn't
- 15:12Speaker 1: you just tell us you had a couple of days
- 15:14Speaker 1: off and heard from it. What happened? Tommy? Want break?
- 15:21Speaker 1: But call when when he when we got off Friday,
- 15:27Speaker 1: the words in the microphone after we left, Well, don't
- 15:30Speaker 1: nobody blank with media's weekend? You didn't hear that? You? Oh,
- 15:37Speaker 1: it means me first? Well, why didn't you just send
- 15:41Speaker 1: a text first? Why he's supposed to get mentored if
- 15:49Speaker 1: he don't win the call? Hey, hey, hey, he could
- 15:54Speaker 1: have called if you look and look here when he
- 15:56Speaker 1: won't passes to universal? He called, okay, so what you're
- 16:00Speaker 1: saying the V I P for for Universal? He called,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know, we need something like that. He need take
- 16:07Speaker 1: his in somewhere. He called, shirt, ain't Marjorie out of
- 16:11Speaker 1: town right now? Steve at home by s if I
- 16:14Speaker 1: show up at the gate, and they called him, do
- 16:17Speaker 1: you know if he gonna really let me? You know
- 16:21Speaker 1: you got Yeah, you have to you know you can't. Yeah,
- 16:25Speaker 1: you can't. But it has happened before him. I'm not
- 16:28Speaker 1: showed up to that gate and he said, he said
- 16:31Speaker 1: nothing me by coming out here today. No, you didn't
- 16:34Speaker 1: let him. Okay, So we need more from you, Tommy,
- 16:37Speaker 1: and we need heid riding by each other household bike
- 16:40Speaker 1: and we need more from you Steve, we need to
- 16:43Speaker 1: get in the house. We need a little deftive. He
- 16:46Speaker 1: get in. But as zero, if you're don't go to
- 16:48Speaker 1: the yeah, you have to exactly definitely, So he did.
- 16:52Speaker 1: He didn't did a zero. We're gonna like, we're gonna
- 16:55Speaker 1: put that like prayer the gates though, and this is James.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We're gonna quit this. So doing that ain't Nobody said
- 17:03Speaker 1: nothing about them. They're not. Just go Tommy, but you
- 17:07Speaker 1: should call for you. I'm gonna go to this gate
- 17:10Speaker 1: one mo tag are you gonna call first? Text? Because
- 17:13Speaker 1: that's what he don't want to. Don't pick that up. Remember,
- 17:16Speaker 1: there's so many different things. You gotta remember a lot
- 17:19Speaker 1: of rules. But it's always gonna be a lot of
- 17:21Speaker 1: red taping rules and you know all that. If you
- 17:24Speaker 1: want something, really, could you could you text him before
- 17:26Speaker 1: you go and say, hey, I'm on my way like
- 17:29Speaker 1: a normal person. Yeah. Not now, I'm probably not supposed
- 17:33Speaker 1: to say now. I didn't sent him three sitcom Listen, Steve,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I sent three sitcoms. Incredible sitcom. They just didn't make
- 17:46Speaker 1: it to him. They didn't make it. No, I'm just
- 17:48Speaker 1: saying now, okay, okay. So he hasn't got the incredible
- 17:56Speaker 1: in the sequence coming out soon. All right, so we're
- 18:01Speaker 1: we have to work on this. Okay, let's let's set
- 18:04Speaker 1: a goal for the meeting. Let's gonna do it. I'm
- 18:08Speaker 1: gonna go on. What else you got, We're gonna set
- 18:11Speaker 1: a goal before that. He run over this morning, is Tommy?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Text me whatever you want to talk about, why we
- 18:17Speaker 1: while we we got four hours, we got three hours left.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Text me while we're on the radio, what you want
- 18:22Speaker 1: to talk about or what you need? Just text me.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'm telling later that I ain't got to tech. I
- 18:27Speaker 1: tell you right now, I want family feud. I just
- 18:29Speaker 1: tell you right now. I want what you want to
- 18:31Speaker 1: be on family now? Hell no, I want the job.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You want to host it? But they already have a
- 18:35Speaker 1: host it right, But he's doing too much. Isn't he
- 18:41Speaker 1: a gonna tell the current host? You take it face?
- 18:46Speaker 1: You want to on his heel? Okay, thought nobody. Why
- 18:52Speaker 1: do I do family feud in another country? Going over there?
- 18:57Speaker 1: You don't even speak the language, and don't matter. He
- 19:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna get this all right. Listen, man, we walk
- 19:06Speaker 1: his show and they see it ain't me. Yeah, all
- 19:11Speaker 1: that clapping gonna stop the gentleman your host a family fear. Well,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm assuming who I'm assuming you're going to pass the gauntlet,
- 19:28Speaker 1: you know, give him a proper introduction if you. If
- 19:31Speaker 1: this does happen, Steve, you're throwing to the wolves. Oh man,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna be doing this about I probably do family
- 19:38Speaker 1: feud probably eight eight more years. Oh well, Tommy, you
- 19:44Speaker 1: take that off your list. Yeah? What else you get? Ye? Cratch? That?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Go ahead? All right? Do we have time to get
- 19:52Speaker 1: to this? Okay? Um. In a recent interview, we all
- 19:55Speaker 1: know who Warren Buffett is. He's a billionaire. He said,
- 19:58Speaker 1: the doubling your net worth won't make you happier, okay,
- 20:03Speaker 1: he said. Warren Buffett said, I wasn't happy when I
- 20:06Speaker 1: had ten thousand dollars when I got out of school.
- 20:09Speaker 1: This is uh. During an interview on the CNBC, he
- 20:13Speaker 1: said I was having a lot of fun. Buffetts said
- 20:15Speaker 1: people often think that having more money will make them happier. Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I can agree with that. Most people do think that,
- 20:22Speaker 1: he says, But unhappy people will probably stay unhappy no
- 20:26Speaker 1: much how, no matter how much money they have. Buffett says, if,
- 20:30Speaker 1: for example, you have a hundred thousand dollars and you're
- 20:32Speaker 1: an unhappy person and you think a million dollars is
- 20:35Speaker 1: gonna make me happy, It's not gonna happen. It's not
- 20:39Speaker 1: going to happen. So Steve, you know I have to
- 20:42Speaker 1: ask you this question. How has doubling in your case, tripling, quadrupling,
- 20:47Speaker 1: whatever the case, how has that changed your life? Has
- 20:50Speaker 1: it made you? What? Buffett and he's in the top
- 20:59Speaker 1: ten billionaires right in the world. I would have to
- 21:03Speaker 1: disagree to Shaw. Yeah, what article? If he did this
- 21:08Speaker 1: in an interview with CNBC. Let me let me tell
- 21:13Speaker 1: you this, he made a true statement. Honestly speaking, if
- 21:16Speaker 1: you're not a happy person, you're not a happy person.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Money does not make you happy. I am at the
- 21:23Speaker 1: happiest I've ever been right now because my life is
- 21:27Speaker 1: in the most peace. But it's not because of money.
- 21:30Speaker 1: It's because of my mate. Oh that's nice to say.
- 21:34Speaker 1: That really is sweet to say that my life is
- 21:37Speaker 1: at his happiest and most peace because of my mate.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Coming up next is the nephew with run that break back.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Show. Coming up at the top of
- 21:49Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna talk to MSS and she's gonna
- 21:51Speaker 1: be here with today's national news coming up at the
- 21:55Speaker 1: top of the hour. I'm gonna ask you a personal
- 21:58Speaker 1: question about me. Okay, to ask me about you. I've
- 22:04Speaker 1: been around for I want to ask somebody, ask somebody
- 22:07Speaker 1: I really know you. What is wrong with you today? Nephew?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Oh no, no, because we didn't mention a thing in
- 22:12Speaker 1: that started. We've been rated. Actually, thank come on, get
- 22:15Speaker 1: to the prank. Go big, go big in your go
- 22:25Speaker 1: bigger go. Oh it is hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:28Speaker 1: reach Darnell. Darnell. See do I know how you doing?
- 22:32Speaker 1: This is Scott saying, with bigger, bigger and better, where
- 22:36Speaker 1: we make you larger in charge? How you doing today? Scott? Whom? Scott? So,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm with bigger and better, where we make you larger
- 22:45Speaker 1: in charge. I'm good, Scott. What's up? We were actually,
- 22:49Speaker 1: uh giving a phone call by your wife? Your wife?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Is that correct? Yeah? Okay, well, um, you know your
- 22:57Speaker 1: wife's um your wife's birthday is coming up pretty soon,
- 23:00Speaker 1: is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so a couple of weeks. Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: it's coming up. Okay. If you have you decided on
- 23:06Speaker 1: getting or anything, or have you purchased anything yet? No, no,
- 23:11Speaker 1: I got a couple of days in mind. Um well, actually, uh,
- 23:14Speaker 1: we got a call from from I think we've got
- 23:18Speaker 1: something that's gonna that's gonna really help you guys. And
- 23:23Speaker 1: and something I think that she wanted to recommend that
- 23:26Speaker 1: something that you probably wouldn't wouldn't think about. Getting racking
- 23:32Speaker 1: my brain. So is actually gave us a call. She's
- 23:36Speaker 1: actually had an idea you know what she would really
- 23:39Speaker 1: really like for her birthday present? So what's her name?
- 23:41Speaker 1: You're coming Bigger and Better. Um, like I said, she
- 23:46Speaker 1: called you. I'm sorry she called you to give me
- 23:50Speaker 1: idea on with I should get for her birthday. Uh yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 1: well this is this is something that's a little a
- 23:56Speaker 1: little different than something that you probably would never in
- 23:58Speaker 1: a million years think. But here at Bigger and Better,
- 24:01Speaker 1: where we make you large and in charge, we actually
- 24:04Speaker 1: do some things that we definitely know you wouldn't have
- 24:07Speaker 1: thought of. So I I definitely understand her given us, man,
- 24:11Speaker 1: what's your what's your name against Sam Scott? Scott Scott,
- 24:15Speaker 1: get to the point what you're selling? Actually let us
- 24:19Speaker 1: know that there are some things that that are really
- 24:21Speaker 1: really lacking between you guys, and she would very much
- 24:26Speaker 1: like for her birthday, where you can be a lot
- 24:28Speaker 1: more well endowed. So you know that's what we do
- 24:32Speaker 1: here at Bigger and Bad we actually hello, what I
- 24:36Speaker 1: could be more well? Doubt? Sir? So, I think really
- 24:39Speaker 1: what's going on is Bianca is really not satisfied right now?
- 24:42Speaker 1: She called you to tell you that I'm not when
- 24:46Speaker 1: you meet willing doubt my junk. So you're you're you're
- 24:49Speaker 1: you're you're you're inadequate. You know what I mean? You're
- 24:51Speaker 1: you're Uh, I guess maybe maybe very impotent. I'm not sure,
- 24:56Speaker 1: but kidning me? What's your name of this company? Bigger
- 25:01Speaker 1: and Better where we make you larger in charge? And
- 25:04Speaker 1: right now you know you're not You're not larger in charge,
- 25:07Speaker 1: and we want to get you that we're able to
- 25:08Speaker 1: come in for a consultation, good consultation. I'll tell you what.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna call her right now because it usually right now. Okay,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna call her and we're trying to do do
- 25:20Speaker 1: you not do you not think you need to come in?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't even think I need even be talking to you,
- 25:25Speaker 1: Mr Scott about whatever is going on in my bed room.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'm king so I'm not even I'm not even I
- 25:31Speaker 1: don't even know what going on. Whatever you whatever, first
- 25:36Speaker 1: for me, it's gonna increase me. In the bedroom is
- 25:38Speaker 1: the first sign of denial. Right, I don't have no no,
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't have no problems in the bed room. Well,
- 25:43Speaker 1: well you know, I don't even why am I even
- 25:46Speaker 1: still on the phone with you? But sir, I mean,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and you only have to worry about hearing from Merk.
- 25:51Speaker 1: She gotta something to kind of account with you. Then
- 25:53Speaker 1: you you ain't got go ahead and close that out.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Let me say this. You have a you have a
- 25:58Speaker 1: very big ego, sir. What I want to do is
- 26:01Speaker 1: is you know, but you're not You're not as big
- 26:03Speaker 1: as your ego. I want to get you to that point.
- 26:05Speaker 1: This is some crazy I've heard some crazy things people
- 26:08Speaker 1: say online. But you're gonna call me talk about my
- 26:11Speaker 1: wife called you saying that I'm an act with in
- 26:13Speaker 1: the bedroom, sir, you know what? And and and once again,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to know You're just you're just doing your job, Scott.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But I'm gonna have to call her right now. Okay,
- 26:23Speaker 1: don't work umber. You're in denial. I'm in denial. You Hello, sir,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I really want to help you as much as I can. Listen, man, listen,
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to get my wife's on the phone right now. Okay,
- 26:39Speaker 1: I know you you've got a job to do, but
- 26:41Speaker 1: what I need you to do right now? Stop calling me?
- 26:44Speaker 1: All right? I'm trying. I'm trying to be nice to
- 26:46Speaker 1: you because I'm sure whatever it is she she called
- 26:49Speaker 1: you and you're just doing your job. They're trying to
- 26:52Speaker 1: get you in here to get a consultation so we
- 26:54Speaker 1: can get you further along the way. You are consultation
- 26:57Speaker 1: a consultation. I don't even know consultation. I don't need
- 27:00Speaker 1: no assistance from you. You call me no more. Man, Hey,
- 27:04Speaker 1: you're small, and I don't want to make you bigger.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You want to make me bigger? What? What? What is
- 27:09Speaker 1: this seeming like bigger? Huh? What kind of job is that?
- 27:13Speaker 1: How do you even get a job like that? You
- 27:14Speaker 1: apply to this job any when you're in high school? Job?
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to me, Stop calling me, man, Mr Darnell.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm still trying to help you get through this situation. Okay,
- 27:26Speaker 1: are you willing to come in for a consultation? At
- 27:29Speaker 1: least we're coming in for a confltation. We can get
- 27:31Speaker 1: your further along. Where you are. Are you listening to me?
- 27:33Speaker 1: The only consultation we're gonna have is my sister in
- 27:35Speaker 1: your place. As you call me again and tell you what.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I will come in for a consultation. Give me give
- 27:40Speaker 1: me your address and everything like that, all your information,
- 27:43Speaker 1: and I will come down for a consultation. You're gonna
- 27:45Speaker 1: be there. I'm here, I'm here, I'm here the first
- 27:48Speaker 1: eight hours of the day, sir. What I want to
- 27:50Speaker 1: do is get you lined up and get your let
- 27:52Speaker 1: me work, Let me call my wife. I don't need
- 27:54Speaker 1: no damn procedures. Give me your info, and you got
- 27:57Speaker 1: to work by here from us. No more, okay, but
- 27:59Speaker 1: right now to get up call me. I don't want
- 28:01Speaker 1: to hang up on you. And I understand. We're trying
- 28:04Speaker 1: to do your job. You're small. You're small, and I'm
- 28:07Speaker 1: trying to make you bigger. Youkay, sir, you know what
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to a little small guy. I'm trying to
- 28:14Speaker 1: help you with your problem. Now. If you're not gonna
- 28:16Speaker 1: be appreciative of it, then I don't even understand why
- 28:19Speaker 1: your wife knows you're having yours. Why we can have
- 28:22Speaker 1: this conversation face to face. You don't know what why
- 28:24Speaker 1: you It doesn't matter. If I can get on the line,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I can figure out why she calls you gonna because
- 28:30Speaker 1: you're adequate. Man, sir, here's the problem. You're tiny and
- 28:35Speaker 1: you don't want to admit it. I let me get
- 28:37Speaker 1: you know me, man, you never see me. You don't
- 28:40Speaker 1: know anything about me. Ian I can't even believe my
- 28:42Speaker 1: wife's be even called you. But just this is just
- 28:45Speaker 1: how you do business. You don't call me and call
- 28:47Speaker 1: me up tiny, sir. So I'm just playing something to you.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I'm not only the president, but I'm also a client, Sir.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I don't give up what you are Okay, okay? And
- 28:56Speaker 1: there are some other things that let us know as well.
- 28:59Speaker 1: What the with that? She also wanted me to tell
- 29:01Speaker 1: you that this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 29:04Speaker 1: more than this show your wife just played for called
- 29:07Speaker 1: you bad Man's funny man. Come on here over here
- 29:14Speaker 1: looking at in the mirror. Kind of I thought it
- 29:19Speaker 1: was good, but I got nervous. Man, what's the baddest
- 29:24Speaker 1: radio show in the land? Come on now, you know
- 29:27Speaker 1: it's just see your Harvey radio show. That's me go home,
- 29:34Speaker 1: that's how you pray. What But in the meantime, Friday
- 29:38Speaker 1: said the Sunday the Nephew was in Memphis, Tennessee. Chuckles,
- 29:41Speaker 1: comedy club tickets are going fast. Get yours right now.
- 29:44Speaker 1: The nephew, the food, it's come to town, Bobby, Quel
- 29:47Speaker 1: nephew all in the same city at the same time.
- 29:49Speaker 1: You don't they don't sell red neck. What should I take?
- 29:52Speaker 1: You're the one want to be mentored? Mentor what say
- 30:02Speaker 1: it against Steve? What he needs help being man? That's crazy.
- 30:06Speaker 1: He was helping y'all to get mentoring from me. Tommy,
- 30:11Speaker 1: he's not a stranger. That's your act like a stranger.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Call I love it, We gotta, we gotta go. Um
- 30:21Speaker 1: you just girls know that. Okay, they're no more perfect bracket.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Miss Anna
- 30:28Speaker 1: is gonna be here with Today's National News and the
- 30:31Speaker 1: Sweet sixteen March Madness. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 30:35Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, so you were saying about um,
- 30:42Speaker 1: you know what what Warren Buffett said. You know, I
- 30:45Speaker 1: was gonna ask you to make a statement about me,
- 30:48Speaker 1: But I've changed my mind. Let me just say this,
- 30:50Speaker 1: warm Buffett is correct in that money does not make
- 30:53Speaker 1: you happy. If you're not a happy person, getting money
- 30:56Speaker 1: not gonna make you happy. Now, I joke said that
- 31:01Speaker 1: it made me a lot happier. It opened up. But
- 31:04Speaker 1: what it did was I was really already a happy person.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I may have been in some dark places and some
- 31:10Speaker 1: dark spots in my life, but I was basically a
- 31:12Speaker 1: happy person. So being a little bit more well to
- 31:16Speaker 1: do has just created an opportunity to do more with
- 31:20Speaker 1: the happiness. That's what it does. The real thing about
- 31:23Speaker 1: money is it just takes all emergencies and turns them
- 31:26Speaker 1: into me or inconveniences. It just makes your life a
- 31:29Speaker 1: little bit more convenient. Well what about when you said, um,
- 31:33Speaker 1: having more money just makes you more of who you are. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: that's a true statement. So like, if you're an unhappy
- 31:40Speaker 1: person a lot of money, you're gonna be more reasons
- 31:43Speaker 1: to be unhappy. Just rich and mad, Yeah, just rich
- 31:46Speaker 1: and sad. There's a lot of very rich, sad people
- 31:48Speaker 1: out there, you know, who know the principles of sense,
- 31:51Speaker 1: but for some reason can't pull that part of their
- 31:53Speaker 1: life together for very reasons. So I've been generous. I've
- 31:57Speaker 1: been overly Dreiner generous at time times. I've had to
- 32:01Speaker 1: learn how of late to cut that back because people
- 32:04Speaker 1: take advantage of it. I've been more than generous in
- 32:07Speaker 1: my life because I'm a generous person. My father was
- 32:11Speaker 1: he'll give you the shirt off his back. I got
- 32:13Speaker 1: that from him. My mother always told me, she said,
- 32:15Speaker 1: you just like your daddy. Your daddy do anything he
- 32:18Speaker 1: can to help somebody he care about. He said, you
- 32:22Speaker 1: just like him. Me. You just like him too, because
- 32:24Speaker 1: you'll fight. You and your daddy just fight. Come home
- 32:28Speaker 1: some night, just shirt toe off. He had changed his
- 32:31Speaker 1: shirt and go back down there. So we know where
- 32:35Speaker 1: you got it from you. I'm cool with that. But
- 32:38Speaker 1: that's what I wanted to say. And let's talk about
- 32:41Speaker 1: the NBA for a minute. I mean, not the NBA
- 32:43Speaker 1: d n C double A. Let's talk. Let's we got
- 32:46Speaker 1: the brackets. Has been a lot of upsets. Uh. The
- 32:49Speaker 1: Sweet sixteen is in out in the West, I think
- 32:55Speaker 1: out west in the South bracket. Excuse me, in the
- 32:58Speaker 1: South bracket. Uh, we got Kansas State and Kentucky. I
- 33:04Speaker 1: predict now Kentucky is number five in Kansas State is
- 33:08Speaker 1: number uh nine, I predict Kentucky to come out of
- 33:12Speaker 1: there the next one the big upset like Loola Chicago
- 33:18Speaker 1: shock Tennessee, which I kind of saw that coming. I
- 33:21Speaker 1: was thinking that I didn't pick them early, but I
- 33:24Speaker 1: got on the bandwagon against Nevada. Now they ain't leven
- 33:29Speaker 1: Nevada number seven. I think Loyola Chicago, the boys up
- 33:32Speaker 1: there gonna shock. Yeah, I think they're gonna shock Nevada.
- 33:39Speaker 1: To your right, Tom Xavier in Florida State. Now, I
- 33:43Speaker 1: told you Florida State. I told you the team from Florida.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out the name of it, but here
- 33:49Speaker 1: he is. Though. Yeah, but they're going to go up
- 33:51Speaker 1: against Gonzaga. Now, now they're going to against Oh yeah,
- 33:54Speaker 1: that's right there, against Gonzaga because they beat Xavier. That
- 34:00Speaker 1: they I told you all. That's stunned man. Now, Gonzaga
- 34:04Speaker 1: hard to beat because they go there every year. So
- 34:07Speaker 1: I'm just in proud with Florida stick. Houston had Michigan.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Man had had Michigan. Michigan beat Houston. So they against
- 34:22Speaker 1: Texas A and then that's time is Old College. So
- 34:25Speaker 1: automatically I pulled for me. They gave y'all Johnny Manzilla
- 34:32Speaker 1: every since they gave us that quarter and we'll finished
- 34:38Speaker 1: to bracket up on the East when we come back. Yeah,
- 34:41Speaker 1: introduced miss and and trip Thank you very much everybody.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Good morning. This is Andre for the News. Police and Austin,
- 34:50Speaker 1: Texas are looking for a serial bomber, perhaps one with
- 34:53Speaker 1: a racist agenda. The first three devices were package bombs
- 34:56Speaker 1: left on three doorsteps, but Austin Police Chief Brian Manly
- 34:59Speaker 1: says that the fourth bomb was set off by a
- 35:01Speaker 1: trip wire along the side of a road in a
- 35:03Speaker 1: residential neighborhood, leaving two men injury. What we have seen
- 35:06Speaker 1: now is a significant change from what appeared to be
- 35:10Speaker 1: three very targeted attacks to what was last night an
- 35:14Speaker 1: attack that would have hit any a random victim that
- 35:17Speaker 1: happened to walk by. So we've definitely seen a change.
- 35:19Speaker 1: And now a package blew up they say this morning,
- 35:22Speaker 1: and a FedEx outlet near San Antonio, Texas, and they
- 35:25Speaker 1: say that package was being male to Austin, Texas. Chief
- 35:29Speaker 1: Manly says, is the Texas field that all the explosions
- 35:31Speaker 1: which have taken place in smart second are linked. President
- 35:34Speaker 1: Trump played a visit to New Hampshire yesterday to host
- 35:37Speaker 1: an event dealing with the nation's opioid crisis. Every day,
- 35:41Speaker 1: one hundred and sixteen Americans die from an opioid related
- 35:45Speaker 1: overdose in New Hampshire. The overdose really death rate, I mean,
- 35:50Speaker 1: can you believe this? The death rate is double the
- 35:54Speaker 1: national average. It's got difficulties like people wouldn't believe. And
- 36:00Speaker 1: the President said the country needs to get tough and
- 36:02Speaker 1: officially proposed that the death penalty be meted out to
- 36:05Speaker 1: certain drug dealers. Yeah, they said. He said the penalty
- 36:08Speaker 1: of certain drug dealers should be death. Meanwhile, she has
- 36:11Speaker 1: a Facebook took a nose dive on the market yesterday,
- 36:13Speaker 1: one day after it was reported that a data firm
- 36:15Speaker 1: that did work for Donald Trump's presidential campaign improperly used
- 36:19Speaker 1: data from fifty million Facebook customers. Facebook has since suspended
- 36:23Speaker 1: Cambridge Analytica that's the name of the firm, for holding
- 36:25Speaker 1: onto the personal data collected after claiming that it was deleted.
- 36:28Speaker 1: According to former employees and Facebook, the breach allowed Cambridge
- 36:32Speaker 1: to exploit the social media activity of those voters. The
- 36:35Speaker 1: Tennessee state legislature voted last week to kill a resolution
- 36:39Speaker 1: that would have condemned the alt right, neo Nazis and
- 36:42Speaker 1: white nationalists as terror groups they need to vote on
- 36:45Speaker 1: the measure. The U. S. Supreme Court has dealta legal
- 36:47Speaker 1: blow to Republicans in Pennsylvania by keeping in place a
- 36:50Speaker 1: revised map of the states congressional districts, one that allows
- 36:54Speaker 1: Democrats to probably pick up as many as four seats
- 36:56Speaker 1: in this year's elections, while making some other races in
- 36:59Speaker 1: that state more than petitive. The High Court refused to
- 37:01Speaker 1: hear the GOP's request to place the new map on hold.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Aretha Franklin has canceled two upcoming concerts, reportedly on orders
- 37:08Speaker 1: from her doctor. Before say, the Queen of Soul has
- 37:10Speaker 1: been in order to stay up the road and get
- 37:12Speaker 1: some rest for at least the next two months. And
- 37:15Speaker 1: happy birthday to Spike Lee. Please that it please, that
- 37:17Speaker 1: it please please. Oh you're such a cutey Spike. We'll
- 37:21Speaker 1: be back with more entertainment in today's trending topics twenty
- 37:24Speaker 1: minutes after the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:26Speaker 1: You're listening too, all right. See, there's some who believe
- 37:32Speaker 1: the reason Bruno Mars took home the Album of the
- 37:34Speaker 1: Year award at this year's Grammy Awards is because he's
- 37:38Speaker 1: a non black musician who singes predominantly black music. But
- 37:42Speaker 1: what is he the Filipinos, Well, that's what they're saying
- 37:51Speaker 1: because there's been this ongoing debate surrounding him. He's being
- 37:55Speaker 1: accused of cultural appropriation. UHM, what is it? Yeah, it's like,
- 38:00Speaker 1: you know, you're taking your taking our music, black music,
- 38:05Speaker 1: making it your own. Yeah, we don't own nothing. Well,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you know, listen to this. Steve, Stevie wonder Is is
- 38:14Speaker 1: pretty upset about that. Uh. He was asked how he felt.
- 38:18Speaker 1: He said, this is what Stevie Wonder, the true legend
- 38:21Speaker 1: of music said. He said, music is for everyone to enjoy,
- 38:25Speaker 1: so we cannot limit ourselves by people's fears and insecurities.
- 38:29Speaker 1: He's a great talent talking about Bruno Mars now the
- 38:32Speaker 1: other stuff is just bull. So I gotta ask you, Steve,
- 38:36Speaker 1: what do you think that's exactly right? Weren't hurt? Just
- 38:39Speaker 1: Stevie wanted to talk and mad at Bruno Mars because
- 38:43Speaker 1: he's doing black music. Hell, we don't do our own music. No,
- 38:48Speaker 1: damn mo oh? Did he say that? It's this new
- 38:52Speaker 1: generation has built careers off of samply. He's just the
- 38:58Speaker 1: baddest thing out there walking right now. The band, the harmony,
- 39:03Speaker 1: the lyrics, the moves, the whole thing. I could be wrong.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I don't know of any young musical you know. Look,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm not talking about that like John Legend and and
- 39:13Speaker 1: and and and and these people out here. Look, I'm
- 39:16Speaker 1: hip hop is making tons of billions of dollars. I'm
- 39:20Speaker 1: talking about real music. Bruno Mars is playing real music
- 39:27Speaker 1: that's in a throwback to what I grew up listening to.
- 39:31Speaker 1: That's why I love him, That's why Stevie Wonder loves him.
- 39:34Speaker 1: That's what they're doing. But this generation has made billions
- 39:38Speaker 1: of dollars off of samply So why would anybody be
- 39:42Speaker 1: upset about Bruno Mars telling about he's still in some culture.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Music is for everybody. These as notes A B C,
- 39:50Speaker 1: D D flat E shop FG dese is notes. That's
- 39:55Speaker 1: what you can. You can. Don't play them notes to
- 40:00Speaker 1: oh dall a man at Bruno Mars for that's ridiculous.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's the dumbest thing. We got a president uphill, we
- 40:11Speaker 1: got a president up here. We're about to move dreamers
- 40:14Speaker 1: out this country, about to build a damn wall. Then
- 40:17Speaker 1: put it bear the tax plan that don't help none
- 40:20Speaker 1: of y'all's asses. And we set up here worrying about
- 40:22Speaker 1: what the hell Bruno Mars is playing. All right, listen,
- 40:25Speaker 1: Steve Man coming up at thirty four after the hour,
- 40:31Speaker 1: we all know about the Blue Ivy Carter nineteen thousand
- 40:35Speaker 1: dollar auction story. Plus we'll tell you about spending your
- 40:39Speaker 1: parents money right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 40:43Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. I see this is a story. It's
- 40:47Speaker 1: so cute. It's been trending for a few days now.
- 40:50Speaker 1: You were actually invited to the Wearable Art Gallery here
- 40:53Speaker 1: in Los Angeles. It was hosted by Beyonce's mom and
- 40:56Speaker 1: her stepdad, Tina Knowles, not Lawson and Richard Lawson. So
- 41:00Speaker 1: this year's theme was from Waco to Wakanda, and well,
- 41:04Speaker 1: Beyonce and Jay's daughter, Blue Ivy stole the show, as
- 41:07Speaker 1: she's been doing lately. Huh A little Blue Ivy she
- 41:11Speaker 1: bid it. Check this out, Little Blue Ivy bid at
- 41:13Speaker 1: nineteen thousand dollars on a piece of art would have
- 41:18Speaker 1: backhanded mine so hard, would have been twice the size.
- 41:22Speaker 1: They already how to raise my black ass? Can you
- 41:26Speaker 1: ain't working no where? So this is what her daddy
- 41:31Speaker 1: jay Z did. He just kind of playfully pulled a
- 41:34Speaker 1: little paddle away. So so here's the question for you, Steve.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Have you ever tried to suggest how to spend your
- 41:42Speaker 1: parents hard earned money? Man? Well, I think I know
- 41:49Speaker 1: the answer to that. Ques what money? Let's let's start
- 41:54Speaker 1: weird handle extra. But if I took my man imitation,
- 41:59Speaker 1: I took my ass to the Stoke and bought the
- 42:02Speaker 1: Mary Jane and that one piece of candy was too sick.
- 42:09Speaker 1: If I came back with five Mary Jane a dad,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I got a twit it all I asked, and back
- 42:19Speaker 1: in the sixties, that's a long long ass. Oh you're
- 42:26Speaker 1: down here spending money. Are you're working now? Oh? Okay?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Or that what you're doing? Or you're taking money without
- 42:35Speaker 1: asking that? I just bought you because I had to
- 42:39Speaker 1: marry Jane. He try talking to my mouth full of
- 42:41Speaker 1: Marry James slob and not the corner of my mouth.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I had two of them in there one time. He's
- 42:46Speaker 1: a he's a boy. How come you didn't bring a
- 42:50Speaker 1: pound of blown it like I am? Huh? I said,
- 42:56Speaker 1: you have no money that? He said, what's that in
- 43:00Speaker 1: your mouth? M He says, So I said, that's canny.
- 43:07Speaker 1: He said, how much can do you buy? I said, huh,
- 43:12Speaker 1: how much? Now I'm trying nothing. I want to swallow this,
- 43:15Speaker 1: but how to kill myself? How to joked him? I
- 43:19Speaker 1: wanted to swallow him like two rocks a crack, but
- 43:23Speaker 1: I couldn't. It was too much from me. So I
- 43:26Speaker 1: was trying to put it in the side of my
- 43:28Speaker 1: mouth and act like I didn't have it. He said,
- 43:30Speaker 1: let me ask you something so you don't went out
- 43:33Speaker 1: on to the stove and instead of getting what I
- 43:35Speaker 1: told you to get, you didn't bought damn candy with
- 43:38Speaker 1: your money. Huh. Another U two in a row. But
- 43:45Speaker 1: I'm starting to chill up because I see where this
- 43:47Speaker 1: is going. So then I said, Daddy, we just ain't
- 43:53Speaker 1: have enough money. He said, we get some change. That's
- 43:58Speaker 1: it right there. How much change we get? What's that? Whoa?
- 44:11Speaker 1: How much was the belogny? Ain't the blogning a pound? Yeah? Huh,
- 44:21Speaker 1: you can't get that price. So now what you didn't
- 44:23Speaker 1: did is you didn't bought a dime war for candy.
- 44:27Speaker 1: So now we can't get the pound of belogne it.
- 44:29Speaker 1: But you're don't about the money back, but you got
- 44:31Speaker 1: mouthful of candy. Now you come back, Timmy, we don't
- 44:34Speaker 1: have enough money. Now, how do you think they're fit
- 44:36Speaker 1: to go? Right here? He asked you first, I said good,
- 44:43Speaker 1: don't say another huh. I don't want I don't want
- 44:46Speaker 1: to get no whooping daddy. I know you don't already
- 44:51Speaker 1: know you don't. Who told you to buy that damn
- 44:57Speaker 1: kenny instead of bringing that damn belogny back to this.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Huh another huh? Go down stairs to wait on me?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Trying to go to the basement. Standing by the furnace,
- 45:10Speaker 1: he took a bath. Eight read the newspaper about it. Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 1: that's death right there. That was all right? Well answer
- 45:23Speaker 1: your questions, spinning your parents, Yeah, yes it does alright.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Nephew tell me he's on deck. Up next with a
- 45:33Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 45:38Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 45:42Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's Today's Strawberry Letter. But
- 45:45Speaker 1: up next it's the nephew right here with the with
- 45:49Speaker 1: the prank phone call. What you got? Invitation to the party. Okay,

- 52:33Speaker 1: They'd be fine, but I don't understand it. Yeah, you
- 52:36Speaker 1: don't understand what that they're fine? Or I can't believe
- 52:41Speaker 1: that some super fine chick that's gonna lay and let
- 52:44Speaker 1: everybody walk in this room for no money, none, for
- 52:50Speaker 1: no money? What what you know? Let's do a case study.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Why don't we all go and you know, let's just
- 52:58Speaker 1: you know, we just go off. We just take moll sir.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Let's two reasons. I'm not going. Were you hard? You know? First?
- 53:10Speaker 1: And famous? Famous? I can't do that, but we could
- 53:13Speaker 1: have had down on that head we course, I can't
- 53:16Speaker 1: even go for the of course study. Secondly, tie, I've
- 53:24Speaker 1: lived longer than I got left. Who too close to
- 53:34Speaker 1: get in there? The gospel song to turn back now?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Too clue? I thought we're gonna swinging. No we're not now, no,
- 53:46Speaker 1: not no back Now, Lord, I'm too clue, too close,
- 54:01Speaker 1: and I can't turn back now. Nobody's gonna go with
- 54:09Speaker 1: me now? Too close, m Yes, aren't trying to get
- 54:20Speaker 1: to happen. I'm too close. We can't make a stop close. Yes,
- 54:28Speaker 1: I am. That's why you can't get an entered right there,
- 54:32Speaker 1: said too clue. All right, Well, so there's your answer no,
- 54:41Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, write about
- 54:42Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's the Strawberry letter. Okay, you don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: want to make it. So you're listening to the Steve

- 56:43Speaker 1: be hosting in that. So that's the way we're doing
- 56:48Speaker 1: it this year. Y'all come on and join us. Go
- 56:50Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Saying and soul dot com for information.
- 56:54Speaker 1: All right, go ahead and buckle up, hold on tight.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I have it for you the Strawberry. Thank you, nephew.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Subject my husband pays for sex dis Shirley and Steve.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I am forty five and my husband is forty six.
- 57:08Speaker 1: We've been married for almost eighteen years and have four children.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Sex between us was really good and often. My husband
- 57:15Speaker 1: wanted sex any time he saw me. I thought it
- 57:18Speaker 1: was borderline neurotic, but my ego and my husband made
- 57:22Speaker 1: me believe it was all about me. For a few years,
- 57:25Speaker 1: it was every day, but eventually I got bored with it,
- 57:29Speaker 1: and kids came along and life required that I do
- 57:32Speaker 1: other things. This became a point of contention for us.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I tried to accommodate him as best I could, but
- 57:39Speaker 1: eventually he started cheating on me, and for the most part,
- 57:42Speaker 1: I forgave him. We remained together and then had our twins,
- 57:46Speaker 1: but from that point forward, sex was something I did
- 57:49Speaker 1: because I had to, or when I felt the urge to,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but never when he wanted it, and mostly with an attitude. Recently,
- 57:57Speaker 1: I've found out that he was having sexually explicit conversation
- 58:00Speaker 1: Asians with women on Facebook and exchanging naked pictures of himself,
- 58:04Speaker 1: even some people who were friends with me. I never
- 58:08Speaker 1: expected that part, but here we are. In the past
- 58:11Speaker 1: few months, he has been having a lot of difficulty
- 58:13Speaker 1: paying his portion of the bills, but when I asked
- 58:16Speaker 1: him about it, he couldn't explain where his money was going.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Then one weekend, after he missed the payment for our
- 58:22Speaker 1: kids karate and dance lessons, we had a big argument
- 58:27Speaker 1: and he blurted out that he had been paying for sex.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I was floored. He blamed me for not satisfying him
- 58:35Speaker 1: like a wife as supposed to, and stormed out of
- 58:38Speaker 1: the house. Under normal circumstances, this would be it. But
- 58:42Speaker 1: here is where I am confused. In the past few years,
- 58:45Speaker 1: I have become spiritual and a practicing Christian. I know
- 58:49Speaker 1: I took vows to be with this man, but that
- 58:52Speaker 1: was before God and Church and Christianity was really a
- 58:55Speaker 1: part of my life. I loved Church, and I love
- 58:57Speaker 1: God in a way that I never did before. And
- 59:00Speaker 1: I want to do what is expected of me. But
- 59:03Speaker 1: I can't believe that God wants me to stay with
- 59:05Speaker 1: this man who has done this to our relationship. With
- 59:08Speaker 1: my help, I guess anyway. I know I have to
- 59:12Speaker 1: forgive him, but I don't think I can ever sleep
- 59:14Speaker 1: with this man again. Do I have to stay and
- 59:16Speaker 1: try to work this out. I'm at my wits end.
- 59:19Speaker 1: He barely even acknowledged what he has done and still
- 59:22Speaker 1: tries to sleep with me every night. I'm hurt and insulted,
- 59:27Speaker 1: but I want to do what is right in a
- 59:28Speaker 1: faithful way. Please help. You are married to someone really ridiculous.
- 59:35Speaker 1: In my opinion, he has no priorities, no loyalties, no appreciation,
- 59:39Speaker 1: no commitment to you, to the marriage, to God, to anything,
- 59:42Speaker 1: to nothing. I mean, this is just stupid. You forgave
- 59:46Speaker 1: him once, it beant nothing to him. He just made
- 59:49Speaker 1: everything worse. Uh. That's why forgiveness is really not for
- 59:53Speaker 1: the other person. It's for you, so you can move on.
- 59:56Speaker 1: This is a marriage on paper only, it's not a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: real marriage because no husband would would, or even should
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: ever treat their wife like this. I mean, I say,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: get out of this mess. I know you're struggling with
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: being a Christian and getting a divorce. I know that's
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: what you're saying in the last part of your letter,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: but I gotta tell you there are many divorce Christians
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: who have moved on with their lives. So if you
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: want out at this point, you know you you have
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: to get out. I mean, you deserve to be happy,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: not only for yourself, but to show your kids a
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: better life too. Steve, you know you had a husband.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: You're always having six every single day for damn the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: eighteen years? What who got dicuss? Somebody ain't working, somebody,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: somebody ain't doing nothing going wrong? Eighteen year, every damn
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: day I mean, man, come on, kids came along and
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: you got boyed because you know, when kids come along,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: there's other stuff you gotta do. So you tried to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: commodate him best I could, but eventually he started cheating
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: on me. For the most part, I forgave. I guess
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he explained to you that the reason he started cheating
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: on you was because you wasn't putting out. Though we
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: remained together and then we had our twins. From that
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: point on, sex was something I did because I had
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: to or felt the urge to, or when I felt
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the urge to, but never when he wanted it, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: mostly with the attitude. I don't won't know mad sex angry.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I don't like it. It's just looks like what you're
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: looking at me like that fun. I don't won't no
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: mad angry sex. It's like having if if your if
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: your sex life was a video game, it'd be angry
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: at burg angryper. You're just flying over there, just knocking
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: stuff over. I don't want no mad sex. Get your
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: nails out, my damn stop like that. It's angry right here?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Why you slap me that damn hot? I hate you?
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: He baby slap me in my mom. I slap you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: on your ad. We're wrong. Did you finish yet? What
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: did Theay? No, I'm not, but the hell I'm about
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to be forget it, Just forget it. Yeah, don't, no, don't.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Nobody won't all that? All right? We'll have part two
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: hour you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, come on, Steve,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: let's get to part two of your response to today's
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. Let me splain to you, man pays for sex,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: bit your baby karate. You don't spend the baby's money though, Steve,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Come on, now, I know, I know, but let me
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: tell you what the man what if me and you
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: ain't kicking it no more, then the baby don't need
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to be kicking. If me and you ain't kicking, if
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: the baby's gonna be st you are wrong. I spent
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the baby karate. Here a part where to let a
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: turk a little turn. You try to go spiritual. I
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: become spiritual and a practicing Christian. I know it took
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: vials to be my man, but that was before God
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Church and Christianity was really a part of my life.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I love church. I love God in a way I
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: never did before, and I want to do what's expecting
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to me. But I can't believe that God wants me
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: to stay with this man who has done this time
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: relationship with my help, I guess any way. I know
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I had to forgive him, but I don't think I
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: can ever sleep with this man again. Do I have
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: to stay and try to work this out? I'm at
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: my what's in? He barely ever knowledge that he's done,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and and still try to sleep with me every night.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I'm hurting and sold it. But what do I do
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: that what is right in a faithful way? Please help?
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: First of all, let me stay, so don't drag the Lord.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: And because see the Lord wasn't on Facebook, The Lord
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: wasn't spending the kids karate money, you know, the the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: the Lord wasn't having sex every day for a team yet,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and that's that's that's let's let's stop making him the
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: because you didn't found him. Now listen to me. Voals
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: get taken by two people. See two people take them vials,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: not just you. Two people take them violed. So now
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: as two people have got to hold up the end
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: of the deal. Now, if he's gonna hold up his
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: end of the deal, then it ain't no deal uphold.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Now what what? Whatnot? Now? What that gotta do with
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you being a Christian? And now? And Charlott's correct about that.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: A lot of Christians get divorced. I know ministers that
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: get divorced. If you don't pick the wrong one, you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: pick the wrong one. What you want to do? You
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: wanna stay with? Go ahead? You haven't mentioned in this
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: letter that this man a good husband because he ain't
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: a good father. He ain't got no time. You ain't
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: really saying nothing. The problem with this man is, ah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: this man won't. It's all right, Steve, we gotta get
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: out of here. You can email us or Instagram. That's
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter. At my girls surely
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: switching gears? Now, Tommy, did you want to ask Steve
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: for me? Yeah? You know you stated that you you
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: want to make a billion dollars in the next three years. No,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I think I can beat that. I think I can
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: beat that by one year. Six Listen, Tim, and now
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I predict I can make a billion dollars in two years. Now.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Only thing is I'm gonna need your help. Yeah. Uh,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the question I got for you how getting a bill?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You asked me that wrong? Now, if I got to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: help you get your two billion, ain't that gonna take
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: away from me trying to get mine three? But don't
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: be greeted like this, Well, is this a mentoring question
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: or I don't know? This is confused? Still, okay, what
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: do you want? I just want to know? How do
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I make the billion dollars in two years? That's how
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: I don't want that's your mentoring question. I mean that's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: many millions, do you But we can't I can't expose
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: that jumping up? So we know you got a minimum
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: of one. That Ain't that a good start? So you
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: understand what you're saying. Steve says he's gonna make three
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: billion dollars I mean one billion dollars in three years. Okay,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: So you're saying you can beat his three years to
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: make your billions if he hit me. I just want
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: to know how you get that. That's your first mentoring
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: question for you. Why why I go small? He always
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: say shoot for the star. So here here's my question
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to you. What can you do right now that could
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: generate ten million dollars over the next year? Oh, man,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: me and you? What can you do right now? You
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: yourself generate ten million over the next I'm gonna have
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to link it to you though, No, no, no, listen
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: to me. You cannot link me. It's to be something
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: because listen to me. Boy, that's the problem. People always
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: tie their dreams and visions to somebody else, when an
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: actuality security is only that which you can provide for yourself.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: What can you do yourself? So you know? And what nobody? Man?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: If he had to showed up, Man, if he had
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: gave me this, it would have happened. Now, you don't
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: need that. What can you do to produce ten million
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: over the next year? I thought I was utilizing my resources.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: You wanted my resources. Man, go ahead and just tell
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: me how you're gonna do it? Him, How are you
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: gonna make ty? I'll tell you. I'll tell you what
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: we do. Okay, I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna I'm gonna.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna shoot a movie for five yeah, and I'm
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: not I'm not paying for that. Why not? How's we're
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: gonna get somewhere? If you had the center animal time,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the question was, how can you produce ten million dollars.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Now you already need my five, and that's how I
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: can do it. But listen to me. You still don't
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: have ten million. You didn't took my five, and ain't
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: no guarantee this movie gonna do a damn thing. But
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: your track record, that's just look at who stole Populard money.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: It closed in the same weekend where we're gonna get
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: distribution for this movie. You then wrote, we're gonna get
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: it just ride with me. Wow, from Papa, raised, from
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: some of these people you got on your phone, you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: got talking about me? How we go? You don't have
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: a clue how to get ten millions? Does he have
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: a million? With Carla? Does he have a million? He
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: has eight? Me? He said that, yeah, he got a million. Okay,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: it's the various thing. We ain't been spending my million
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: and that's not gone right. But yeah, yeah, we're using
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: your million, right, Okay, cool? Cool? But to how the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: hell are you gonna use my five? Because you have
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: so many more of them? All right, listen coming up
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: in about ten minutes, Um, Carla, you gonna have a
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: special edition of Reality Update. Yes, alright, fellas are gonna
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: want to get into Okay, all right, that's about ten minutes. Okay,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen. We
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: have a special edition of Reality Update put your hands together,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: the one, the Only Carla Farrell. All right, thank you, nephew. Okay,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: so we got the special edition of Reality Update on Okay,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: what happened? Okay, So first of all, let's just say this,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: your show is back, Steve. Last Night, Loving Hip Hop
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: a t L Atlanta is back, season seven premier Steven, Mimi, Rashida, Kirk,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Tommy and them. They are back. I'm really sick of
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Kirk and Jasmine the baby. Rashida is such a boss.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I don't understand Kirk. Yeah, what happened to my boy? Josh, Lyna, Steven, Steven, Ja,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: He's still on the show. He's still on the show.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: And there's some new people. Eric Amna, she's on this. Josh.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Lyn ain't on no more, not just Lynn. You know
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: she kind of tripped out last season. Yeah, yeah, she
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: had the baby and yeah she kind of tripped out.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: But this is what I want to talk to you
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: guys about. We'll talk about Love and Hip Hop Atlanta later.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: We'll let people get a chance to catch up on
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: it if you didn't get a chance to see it
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: last night Sunday's episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. What
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: do you guys about? Now? The ladies were back from
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: from Spain, and we know that Nini is pursuing a
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: career in stand up comedy. Well, she did an event.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: This was not televised on the show or on the
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: particular episode on this past Sunday, but while on stage
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: they talked about this. On the show, Nini addressed a
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: heckler and she basically went there with this heckler and
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: then she said, she told the heckler, I hope you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: get raped by your uber driver. That yeah, we talked,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: we did. We talked about this when we heard about
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: it happening. So last night, I mean Sunday night, they
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: addressed it on the show. So now take a listen.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Nini is telling Cynthia and Marlowe some of the other
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: cast members, what happened and how sorry she was for
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: saying what she said. Take a list So as I
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: go into the joke, the person on the front is,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you know, talking while I'm talking, she says, kill yourself,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: you know, killing yourself does she say me to kill myself.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I'm so quick to fight back. I gotta have to
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to learn to not fight back. This is hate and
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: that said what I said. Just listen. Oh my god,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I know, but listen. Nobody okay, Nini, listen knows that
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: to you. I know, I know, I know, I know.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It was a mistake. You didn't know. Nobody cares what
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: she says. But the person to say what they said.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: That just to list though, you apologize, you're gonna make
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: a state some on Wow. First of all, she got
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: to get out of comedy. Yeah, yeah, because brow I
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: ain't never crying thirty three years and fired off some zingles.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: She got kill yourself, broke her down, kill yourself broke her? Yeah,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: well kill yourself. Yeah, there's a lot. I've been called
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: it in word. You ain't funny. Ould have done everything.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: She got to get out of comedy. It's not fun her.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: That's gonna break you down. What kind of advice are you?
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: What would you do comedy? Oh? I handle heckless. You're
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: gonna kill me? Oh, we were all gonna die this eating.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Everybody's gonna have a little deft this even a matter
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: of fact, I'm gonna nail you to the cross. As
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: soon as you say that to me, you can start.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: You can lay on the ground and lay on this
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: wooden cross, and we're gonna start nailing your ass to it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: But oh, it's since you want to be in the show. Oh,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: now you're fitting to be the show. Oh, and you're
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: fitting to stay in this show a little bit longer
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: than you want to. I'm gonna humiliate your head, that's
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: the thing. So that was her clap back when she said,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I hope you get raped by an uber driver, and
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: that controversial clap back that she had she lost her
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: with with Escape they Escape tour. She was supposed to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: be booked on the tour with Escape. You remember Candy's
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: group from the nineties, they got back together. She was
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: supposed to open up for that, and the group members
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: felt that they didn't want her a part of it.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: But listen to me, at no point in the seventies eighties, nothing,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: it's rape a joke, subject, right, listen to him. Here's
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: a deal. This is what I teach all young comics.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: There's two hundred and fifty don'ts in comedy. After that,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: you can do anything you want to. But you need
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: to learn the two hundred and fifty don't. After you
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: learned the two hundred and fifty don't, you can do anything.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Rape is not a jokable subject. It's just not no,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: it's it's not a clapback. It's not a comeback for
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: a heckla. Rape. It's too vile of a word. It
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: shouldn't be used period. Now, if that comes out your mouth,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: what does that say about you? You're not a comic. Well,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: you know what, another thing too, the girl could have said,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: because you wouldn't it wasn't going good. She the girl
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: could have said, y'all just kill yourself. Yeah, we don't
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: know what you have that dying anyway. It could have
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: been boy, I know you want to kill yourself right now. Yeah,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And and Nini felt extra badly because you know, she's
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: done work, you know, with domestic domestic violence and all
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: of that, you know, so yeah, she she she really
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: felt bad about that. First of all, comedy is nothing
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: that you go and become. You better say that. Let
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: me just help you all with this, being a comedian
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and being a stand up comedian, it's nothing you go
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and become. You are born into this. If you're not
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: born into this. This is not for you. Everybody, don't
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: use it. But you can't. You can't learn this. This
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: ain't teachable, ain't no classes for this. This is not
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: what she do. She can be a host and MC
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: and actress. She can't be all you're gonna take acting lesson,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you can't take commed lesson. She gotta get out of
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: this here. Alright, she's hosting more now. I think she's
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: on the road again the other day. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. This story
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: is straight out of the UK. Prince Harry, no pre nup? Whoa,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: we won't pretty you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, guys,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: what were you gonna say? Where are you gonna ask?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Steve is on stage? He's a stand up right now,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Stevens right, I'm the hell cloud side in the audience. Okay,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I don't know nothing what you're gonna say? Time? Okay,

- 1:17:31Speaker 1: you just kill yourself? Okay? I will you first? Okay, yeah, no,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I'm I'm with it. I'm with it. I'm with it.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: If you that's what we're doing, I'm dying with it.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: You first ready said, go hey, that joke fell flat
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: as a pancake. Why don't you get out of here?
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Kill yourself? No, it's flat like your mama's behind. Come on, Tommy,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: tom Tommy that you ain't gotta say kill yourself, you
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: just haul out in So whoa? This show is ugly
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: right here? And nobody what's ugly? He is ugly? It's
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: your date. You rolled in with that. I don't know.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Are you evering trouble with me? I do? How much? Lord?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Can this show get? Pal? Wow? Well are you shocked?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: So I'm getting down that way at? Oh my god,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: it's in time? Show stinks? What are you doing? That's
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: your breakfast smell? And another thing? Yeah? How to quick
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: talking to you? To ask me right over? Oh my god,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I've been to a circus that's way better than this, man,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: You've been to a circus that's better than this? Yes,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: but hey, go back. Ain't that why you're working anyway?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: You don't? Lord? Girlfriend jokes? But never once did he
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: say that other lack ver one. That's that's all you
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: gotta do. Man. You just gotta be clever. You gotta
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: come back. You know, flap back is real. I specialized
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: in heckless. I've made a fool out you man. I
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: had bitch written on what else you got? All right? Listen.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Prince Harry and Megan Marco are all set to get
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: married in May of this year in St George's Chapel
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: at winter Castle in the UK. The two are extremely
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: excited to be saying their I dudes, but with some
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: shocking reveal, Prince Harry is not interested in having his
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: fiancee sign a prenup. Okay what queens? Uh? Where they're
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: gonna get married in? In England? Oh? Yeah, over there?
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: You can't getting under rawalty money? Okay some outlets. I
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: don't know. I'm just saying. Some outlets have claimed that
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Prince Harry's net worth it's forty million dollars or more,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: while Megan Markles net worth is around seven million. But
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the youngest son of the late Princess Diana doesn't care
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: about his fortune when it comes to his future wife.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: He's determined that his marriage will be a lasting one,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: so there is no need for him to sign anything.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: A lot of people go into marriage believing that yeah yeah, no,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: free up, yeah no, free up. So Steve, what do
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: you think that you know he's he's it ain't his money,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: it's his power, it's his reign, is his family, his
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: lineage here, Okay, he's set for life. Oh yeah yeah,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: she can't get none of that money. That that money
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: ain't lined up like that for him. His network farting
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: all you god man. And she's seven, so it's not
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: like you know she's coming in with nothing. Good. They love,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: they're good. I ain't got no prenup. They look like
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I don't know. Me and my girl going to the
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: tape doom. You got a prenup when you make your billion,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: You're gonna have a prenup when I make my being.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I'm staging my debt. Here we go with that, Gonna
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: be at my funeral and everything. When I get this beat?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: What everybody getting out? My damn life? Man? See if help? Now,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: this is what you can mentor him on right here?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: What you can't change that part? And I get that beat,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I'm getting shot in front of them kids and everybody
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: right there on the patio. What what dad died on
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: the patio. They're gonna pack my ass out of that.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I'm gone thanking your death as elite. When them get
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: down the street, I'm jumping out walking, going to get
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: my beet. Man. I ain't mad at you, though you
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: should be mad at him. In your mask, he said,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I'm staging my deal. I'm getting shot in front of
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: my kids, in front of him kids. I thought you
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: were saying, if I get this billion dollars, I got
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: to get rid of about that's funny. If he was
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: going to win the lottery, Steve, Now, yeah, but this
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: bill he got time to get a billy. He gotta
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: get rid of. There's no other way around. Yeah, because
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: they came bad, witness to what I'm going to do.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: The last time they say daddy, they will be screaming.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: This is awful. This is really bad. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Right down that Pattio, I'm out. Stop saying that. Yeah,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: that's horrible. Stop saying that. I don't know if it's horrible.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: The show is. It's horrible, Junior. It's a show I
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: don't like. I don't like it. I'm staging only the men. Think, kid,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it's not fun. You could go to your own funerals.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: We're changing the subject, but we will be back. We're
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: changing right, y'all gonna go to my funeral. You're calling
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: gonna make my fun just to help you play it off.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna need I'm gonna need ten million. I'm gonna
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: tell your assisted. Yeah, I'm gonna need. I'm gonna need
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: twenty million. I'm telling you, you'll be lying the next
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: morning if I don't get twenty five millions to take
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the family to him. Man hit Er, Jackie. You're listening

- 1:27:52Speaker 1: it change to a master class. Well, we do have
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: a master class, act like a success master class, Sherlenkle. Yes,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: I was gonna get y'all some swimsuits for the weekend.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Y'all want bikini or y'all we gotta go. Uh, we'll
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: be back. We'll be back with more of this. You're
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: hour right about four minutes after. It's Today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: but up next it's the nephew. Alright, Steve, So you
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: were saying about um, you know what what Warren Buffett said.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: You know, I was gonna ask you to make a
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: statement about me, but I changed my mind. Let me
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: just say this, Warren Buffett is correct in that money
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: does not make you happy. If you're not a happy person,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: getting money not gonna make you happy. Now, I jokingly
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: said that it made me a lot happier. It opened up.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: But what it did was I was really already a
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: happy person. I may have been in some dark places
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: and some dog spots in my life, but I was
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: basically a happy person. So being a little bit more
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: well to do has just created an opportunity to do
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: more with the happiness. That's what it does. The real
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: thing about money is it just takes all emergencies and
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: turns them into me or inconveniences. It just makes your
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: life a little bit more convenient. Well what about when
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: you said, um, having more money just makes you more
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: of who you are. That's a true statement. So like,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: if you're an unhappy person a lot of money, you're
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: gonna be more reasons to be unhappy. Just rich and mad, Yeah,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: just rich and sad. There's a lot of very rich
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: sad people out there, you know, who know the principles
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: of sess but for some reason can't pull that part
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: of their life together for very reasons. So I've been generous.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: I've been overly dreiner generous at times. I've had to
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: learn how of late to cut that back because people
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: take advantage of it. I've been more than generous in
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: my life because I'm a generous person. My father was
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: he'll give you the shirt off his back. I got
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: that from him. My mother always told me, she said,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: you just like your daddy. Your daddy do anything he
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: can to help somebody he care about. He said, you
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: just like him, and you just like him too. Because
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: you fight, you and your daddy, just fight. Come home
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: some night, just shirt toe off. He had changed his
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: shirt and go back down there, so we know where
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: you got it from. I'm cool with that. But that's
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: what I wanted to say. And let's talk about the
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: NBA for a minute time, I mean, not the NBA
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: d n C double A. Let's talk. We got the brackets.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: There's been a lot of upsets. Uh. The Sweet sixteen
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: is in in the South bracket. We got Kansas State
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: and Kentucky. Kentucky is number five in Kansas State is
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: number nine. I predict Kentucky to come out of there
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: the big upset like Loonla Chicago shot Tennessee, which I
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: kind of saw that coming. I was thank thinking that
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: I didn't pick them early, but I got on the
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: bandwagon against Nevada. Now they ain't leven. Nevada number seven.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: I think Loyola Chicago, the boys up there, gonna shock. Yeah,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: I think they're gonna shock Nevada to you, right, Tommy
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Xavier in Florida State. Now, I told you Florida State.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: I told you the team from Florida. I couldn't figure
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: out the name of it, but here he is though. Yeah,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: but they're going to go up against Gonzaga. Now. Now
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: they're going to against Oh yeah, that's right there, against
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Gonzaga because they beat Xavier. See that they I told
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: you all that's stunned. Now, Gonzaga hard to beat because
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: they go there every year. So I'm just in proud
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: with Florida's stick. Houston had Michigan. Man had had Michigan.
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: Michigan beat Houston. So they against Texas and that's time
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: is old College. So automatically I pulled for me. But
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: they gave y'all John every since they that you're listening
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: to show. All right, we are back. This is our
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: last break of the day. Good day this Tuesday, Steve.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: We're ready for your closing remarks. Today, I want to
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: give you all something that came to me. Uh, it
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: came to me this morning. I was been in really
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: over the weekend. I was doing a lot of prayer
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: for meditating over the weekend, you know, just trying to
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: recenter myself. You know, sometimes I get a little off,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: you know, i'd see myself sliding off. Course, I'm forgetting
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: to be grateful as I should. I'm I started working
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: on some things that I want to happen so bad.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: I keep pouring a lot of time into it. I keep,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: you know, reviewing my plans and goals, and sometimes you know,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: your second guest stuff, and sometimes you spend a lot
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: of time just scratching your head trying to figure out
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: your next move. I'm sure everybody can relate to that.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: How you sit up in here, man, and some of
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: your best laid plans seem to be going a ride
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: and you just can't figure it out. Uh. I was
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: sitting up and somebody sent me this this morning, and
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: then it's entitled Release, And as I read it, I
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: just want to share with you the thought that I
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: was having when I was reading this thing called Release,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: and it says, Heavenly Father, I released to you the
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: burdens that I have been carried, burdens that you never
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: intended for me to carry. You know what I read that.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: It meant something to me because a lot of the
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: stuff that's on us that we can around here, he
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: don't even in tear for us to carry around. We're
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: just canding around because we didn't took it upon ourselves
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: to worry about it. We don't took it upon ourselves
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: that this is now this albatross around our neck when
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: God really didn't intend for that. You know, other people's
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: problems really ain't your problems. They can bring it to you,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: but that don't mean it's yours. So you end up
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: carrying around stuff that God never intended for you to carry.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: You know, like you hear your grandmama used to say,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: don't let other people put their trash in your trash
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: care because you need all that room for your trash.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: But now you can't around somebody else's. Then it goes
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: on to say, I cast all my cares upon you,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: all my worries, all my fears. You have told me
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: to not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: everything to you in prayer with thankfulness. Man, I had
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: forgotten about that, and when I read that, it reminded
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: me that I shouldn't be anxious about these deals. I'm
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: working on my next move, what I need to get done.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: Why am I tripping about that? I don't know how
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: it's gonna turn out anyway. I'm anxious about something that
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: I actually have no control over. So I just con
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: said to me, Steve, just turn this over to who
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: got all this in control? And let him have it,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: and be grateful for what you have. And then it says, Father,
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: calm my relentless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: troubling thoughts, with the assurance that you are in control. Man,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Ain't that cool? When you turned something over to God
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: and all of a sudden you have a calmness or
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: quiet and the stillness because you ain't got to worry
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: about it no more. Then it says, I let go
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: of my grip upon the things that have been I've
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: been hanging on too. With open hands. I come to you.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: I release to you, and we are all that I
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: am trying to manipulate. I release to you all that
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to manipulate. So if you let go of stuff,
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: if you let go of a lot of stuff that
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: you're hanging on to y'all, you can go to God
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: with open hands. If you go to God with open hands,
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: he got something to feel now. But if you're hanging
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: on and got a deaf grip on a whole bunch
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: of stuff that you can't do nothing about it, and
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: it's really meaningless, you ain't got room to receive what
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: He got for you. So I release to you all
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: that I am trying to manipulate. I release to you
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: your authority, all that I am trying to control. I
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: release to your timing all that I have been striving
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: to make happen. Everything I've been trying to make happen.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you make it happen everything I've been
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: wanting to happen at a certain time. I'm gonna let
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: that happen in your time. You do it in your time,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: when it's your will. For me, it's called release. Just
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: let it go, man, because you're tripping about stuff you
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: really can't control. That's an amazing Then it says, I
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: thank you for your promise to sustain me, because that's
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: his promise to sustain you, preserve me and God all
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: that I have entrusted to your keeping. So now when
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: you turn it over to God and you let him
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: have it, and you release this grip on this stuff
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: that you have no control over, and you ask for
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: his calmness and your quiet and you release everything to him,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: guess what, Now you can just trust that you didn't
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: put it in the right hands. You got it in
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: the best hand, So he gonna protect that now he
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: watching over it instead of you. Watching over. Now, who
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: would you rather hand watching over something? You are God,
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: protect my heart and mind with your peace, the peace
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: that passes all understanding. Father, May your will be done
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: in my life. That was powerful to me, man. And
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: I read that this morning, and I said, Wow, I'm
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: gonna share that with everybody because that really helped me today. Man,
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: that it allowed me to let go of something, to
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: let golf stuff that I've been hanging on to, trying
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: to make stuff happen. When there's so much stuff that's
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: out of my control, if you just let it go,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: turn it over to God, and be all right with it,
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: because he's been having you. Why would he not have this?
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: But we grab ourselves and we want to be a
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: part of it so much that we end up getting
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: in the way. So I asked that this will be
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: done in my life, in your time and in your way,
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: however he want to do it, and whenever he want
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: to do it, I'm cool with that. Stop being anxious
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: for everything, y'all, step back, turn it over to God
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: and let him do what he does. You feel me,
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: feel you for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary
