- 2:08Speaker 1: it only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay today
- 2:13Speaker 1: you know this week, I've just been on it, so
- 2:15Speaker 1: today is no different what I'm trying to do. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 1: telling you, I've just reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to
- 2:24Speaker 1: share the principles of success. I'm more determined to help
- 2:30Speaker 1: and guide and teach as many people as I can
- 2:33Speaker 1: the things that I've learned. And I mean, man, I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been through it. I have really been through it. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: kid you not. You know I used to say, okay, god,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know why is all this happening to me. But
- 2:44Speaker 1: as I uh, I've gotten older, I understand that was
- 2:48Speaker 1: the ingredients. I needed, the ingredients to be this cake.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I needed all those ingredients stirred up. I need all
- 2:56Speaker 1: of that different flavors, the stuff that I didn't think
- 2:59Speaker 1: tastes so good. All that stuff had to come into
- 3:02Speaker 1: the bowl in order for me to get to where
- 3:05Speaker 1: I am today. As much as I did not like
- 3:09Speaker 1: the taste of the ingredients, little did I know, God
- 3:13Speaker 1: was making this cake, not me. But what he did
- 3:16Speaker 1: was and you've heard you the old saying God could
- 3:19Speaker 1: turn lemons lemons into lemonade. Well that's what he was
- 3:23Speaker 1: doing now. At the time, it all had a little
- 3:28Speaker 1: funky lemonade lemony flavor to it, with some other stuff
- 3:32Speaker 1: in it too. I didn't care for it. But little
- 3:35Speaker 1: did I know, Little did I know, that I needed
- 3:38Speaker 1: everything that happened to me, that happened to me, in
- 3:41Speaker 1: the exact order that had happened, in the exact array
- 3:44Speaker 1: of things that happened for me to have a knowledge
- 3:47Speaker 1: I have today, the experience, the attitude. But so I
- 3:53Speaker 1: could turn around and share that information. Okay, got that
- 3:58Speaker 1: out the way. I've learned this this. This is what
- 4:02Speaker 1: I want to give to you today. I want you
- 4:05Speaker 1: to understand something that discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Discipline determined your destiny, not your desire. You've heard me
- 4:18Speaker 1: say this how many times on the show. Okay, here
- 4:20Speaker 1: we go again, Steve, I got it. Faith without works,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's dead. But let me tell you something. To be
- 4:28Speaker 1: a hard worker, you got to be disciplined. That's one
- 4:31Speaker 1: of the hardest lessons I'm trying to get through to
- 4:33Speaker 1: my sons that an undisciplined man is headed to a
- 4:37Speaker 1: life of justice. I can't even tell you, man, you're
- 4:41Speaker 1: gonna throw yourself down a cliff if you're not a
- 4:44Speaker 1: young man or a man that possesses discipline. Because they
- 4:49Speaker 1: got something for undisciplined people. They got some street laws
- 4:53Speaker 1: for undisciplined people, and they got some federal laws and
- 4:57Speaker 1: state laws for undisciplined people. That's why them signs is
- 5:01Speaker 1: outside on the freeway, We're gonna let you go fast,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but seventy is the limit. Seventy fast enough? Really, really,
- 5:09Speaker 1: if you're disciplined enough of a person to leave your
- 5:12Speaker 1: house at the time you're supposed to leave your house,
- 5:15Speaker 1: seventy miles per hour is absolutely enough. But if you're
- 5:19Speaker 1: an undisciplined person, if you don't have the wherewithal to
- 5:23Speaker 1: leave your house on time, to make to get ready
- 5:27Speaker 1: to go where you want to go, see the desires
- 5:30Speaker 1: where you want to go. The discipline is how you
- 5:33Speaker 1: get there. You know, you understand. You can wanna go
- 5:37Speaker 1: to see your family in California all you want, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: the flight leaves at one eighteen. You leave your house
- 5:45Speaker 1: at twenty or thirty. They told you you must check
- 5:49Speaker 1: in one hour before your flight. Now, if you ain't
- 5:52Speaker 1: got the discipline to get to the airport to check
- 5:55Speaker 1: in one hour before your flight, leaving your house forty
- 5:59Speaker 1: five minutes be for the flight departs, what you think
- 6:02Speaker 1: gonna happen? Your desire to go see your family in
- 6:06Speaker 1: l A Is going to be thwarted because you lack
- 6:09Speaker 1: the discipline to prepare yourself and get yourself ready to
- 6:14Speaker 1: do the things that you have to do to make
- 6:16Speaker 1: your desires come true. I'm telling you discipline determines your destiny,
- 6:21Speaker 1: not your desire. You can write down a list of
- 6:24Speaker 1: stuff you want to do all day, but if you
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't produce and show the discipline necessary to get there.
- 6:30Speaker 1: What you think gonna happen? Huh? Okay, I want to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be rich, Okay, I want to make four hundred thousand
- 6:40Speaker 1: in a year. Okay, I want to be the best
- 6:43Speaker 1: player that there is. Okay, but you don't want practice.
- 6:48Speaker 1: See the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at
- 6:51Speaker 1: practice the shooting jumpers when everybody going home, that's the
- 6:54Speaker 1: guy that's gonna be the best. The guy that puts
- 6:57Speaker 1: us and that's never late for practice, the god's sady
- 7:00Speaker 1: to play book. That's the guy that's gonna make it.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That's the guy that's gonna make not the guy that's
- 7:05Speaker 1: talking crack I stalk the next smack. I'm gonna make
- 7:08Speaker 1: the Pro Bowl, I'm gonna make the All Star Team.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna be All American. That's that's just what you're saying. Hey,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you know, you can say a lot of stuff, but
- 7:19Speaker 1: discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. So now let's
- 7:24Speaker 1: talk about this discipline. What is that really, Steve, that's
- 7:28Speaker 1: your work ethic, that's your hunger, that's that's your will,
- 7:35Speaker 1: that that's what you do. That's how hard you're willing
- 7:39Speaker 1: to demonstrate see it's a live demonstration. Now, discipline is
- 7:46Speaker 1: how hard you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and the
- 7:53Speaker 1: traits to be what you wanna be. Did you hear me?
- 8:00Speaker 1: It is your willingness to conduct yourself in a manner
- 8:04Speaker 1: that is above and beyond what they what what they
- 8:08Speaker 1: say is necessary. Okay, let me see if I can
- 8:11Speaker 1: come up with an example for that. So I was
- 8:15Speaker 1: watching the NFL Combines on TV. Now, this is a
- 8:18Speaker 1: good example right here. Now. You can want to be
- 8:21Speaker 1: in the NFL all you want, but they got this
- 8:24Speaker 1: thing called the NFL Combines where they bring in some
- 8:27Speaker 1: of the top players at every position to come and
- 8:31Speaker 1: they're gonna run a forty yard dash, They're gonna do
- 8:34Speaker 1: a standing broad jump, They're gonna do a standing vertical leap. Uh,
- 8:40Speaker 1: They're gonna do drills, running drills, cutting drills. They can
- 8:45Speaker 1: determine if a linebacker got stiff hips by making him
- 8:49Speaker 1: back pedal, point him in one direction, and throw the
- 8:51Speaker 1: football in another direction. How does he turn his body?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Now you can say you can tell everybody that your
- 8:57Speaker 1: college you want to play pro football. You tell everybody
- 9:00Speaker 1: at your high school. You tell him in Peewee you
- 9:01Speaker 1: wanta play pro football, but they got tests for you though.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's called the combines. Now you get out here and
- 9:07Speaker 1: you have a bad combine day, Ain't nobody trying to
- 9:10Speaker 1: hear that. Let me tell you how excuses don't work
- 9:14Speaker 1: with people when they're just trying to get when they're
- 9:16Speaker 1: trying to win. In the NFL, the fact that you
- 9:19Speaker 1: had a bad day at the combine and you don't
- 9:22Speaker 1: run your best forties and you just keep telling them
- 9:25Speaker 1: you could do better, they don't want to hear that.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Because see, what ain't nobody gonna pay you for is
- 9:29Speaker 1: to play on Sunday. And that's one of your bad days. Now,
- 9:34Speaker 1: we were paying you to play on Sundays, but because
- 9:37Speaker 1: you keep having these bad days, because you ain't disciplined
- 9:41Speaker 1: enough to put in the work to make sure that
- 9:44Speaker 1: your maximum can be put can be called upon at
- 9:47Speaker 1: any time. Now you have to combine with some slow
- 9:51Speaker 1: times that go on your record. You have to combine.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You don't jump as high as you did when you
- 9:56Speaker 1: was at the gym class. Well, hold up, man, this
- 9:59Speaker 1: is day now in the NFL. Sunday is show day.
- 10:04Speaker 1: What they can't run the risk of is paying you
- 10:06Speaker 1: your money, and your bad day happen to be on
- 10:09Speaker 1: Sundays after we didn't cut your check. No, no, no,
- 10:12Speaker 1: We're looking for people who limit them bad days, who
- 10:15Speaker 1: got the discipline to work hard, to make an effort
- 10:18Speaker 1: for you. Understand what I'm saying to your folks, Please
- 10:21Speaker 1: understand this discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. You
- 10:27Speaker 1: you can, you can want it all you want. But
- 10:30Speaker 1: if you ain't working, if you ain't grinding, if you
- 10:33Speaker 1: ain't gritting your teeth, if you ain't hurting, if you
- 10:36Speaker 1: ain't sweating real bad, if you always somewhere got to chill,
- 10:42Speaker 1: you got to have a cold, one, you got to
- 10:44Speaker 1: smoke one, you always, you gotta do all them things.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Can't tell you something you ain't gonna make it. Discipline
- 10:52Speaker 1: determine your destiny, not your desires. You're listening for you want.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Minutes after that, we welcome to the ride, y'all on
- 11:02Speaker 1: this side. Look at here, Let's see what is this
- 11:05Speaker 1: winds winds day, on this glorious day, this wonderful opportunity,
- 11:13Speaker 1: another chance We've all been given another chance to get
- 11:16Speaker 1: it right. Man, wo man, that's all I look at
- 11:21Speaker 1: these days, and this is one day closer to something
- 11:24Speaker 1: else coming your way. Because God wakes you up in
- 11:27Speaker 1: the morning, it's clear sign that he ain't through with you.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Come on, that's right. And I lived my life with
- 11:32Speaker 1: the life of expectation. I expect God would do exceedingly
- 11:37Speaker 1: and abundantly over all that I think or ask, because
- 11:42Speaker 1: I honor him, His blessings would chase me down and
- 11:44Speaker 1: overtake me that I wake up every day, So I'm
- 11:47Speaker 1: thinking that today. Wow, man, he's gonna lay me out today.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And even if I don't see the big layout, Sorry,
- 11:57Speaker 1: we're gonna quit this by laying out your behind, laid
- 12:01Speaker 1: out all this, He's gonna lay me. Have you have
- 12:04Speaker 1: you looked at how you laying? You need to add
- 12:07Speaker 1: some mo me out some mode. I think we're all
- 12:14Speaker 1: in agreement. Look at the look on his face. He's mad.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He's mad. He's mad. Tommy, you got to stop this.
- 12:24Speaker 1: He stopped. You know. We gotta stop following his ass too.
- 12:27Speaker 1: That's what we gotta problem. But you know, I'm used
- 12:36Speaker 1: to Tommy. I'm used to Tommy. I get it. Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you've known him all his life. Yeah, I'll get it,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you know, But you know I get it. I don't.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I don't get him get it? But what is it? Tom?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Just every time I called Jesus, he on the phone
- 12:52Speaker 1: with you. Hold on, I'm on with Steve. I get it.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Ain't your time, you get your I'm on the main line.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And then the lower clickover that was timing. No nobody
- 13:15Speaker 1: for time. Go ahead, Steve. He showed on what you got. Yeah, alright, man,
- 13:23Speaker 1: if I tell you something, I'm just tell you something.
- 13:26Speaker 1: All right, This can mess you a little day. You
- 13:30Speaker 1: get ready again, let's hear it. No, get ready to
- 13:34Speaker 1: get Here's the deal. When you call, I'm on the
- 13:38Speaker 1: phone because I don't never hang up constantly talking to
- 13:47Speaker 1: what you're saying. I got you, you say, I'm constantly
- 13:50Speaker 1: what see? So right there, see I don't you don't
- 13:56Speaker 1: pick I don't hang up all day long. I got
- 14:02Speaker 1: something to say. But he is God, He's an omnipresent.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Come on now, come on. See that's the key. See,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you can get in if you just quit getting me in.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Occasionally we're preaching the word up and here hit when
- 14:22Speaker 1: everybody get tight, you just get real quiet right now
- 14:27Speaker 1: because you think about you right now, I'm thinking about
- 14:30Speaker 1: my whole situation. I want to do just a slight
- 14:33Speaker 1: review and then we're gonna have bobershop right after this,
- 14:36Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show continues, Ain't the fucking knock
- 14:40Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show? And here we go.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Before we get into barbershop, I want to just talk
- 14:48Speaker 1: to the crew. You know, the whole morning show. Everybody
- 14:52Speaker 1: was on the Steve Harvey Talk Show and it'll air
- 14:56Speaker 1: would you lie? On my last live week? And I
- 14:59Speaker 1: just want to to say how nice it was to
- 15:01Speaker 1: have the crew sit in and do two really, really
- 15:04Speaker 1: great segments. I also wanted to compliment them on their appearance.
- 15:10Speaker 1: They look like they belong. He didn't like what I
- 15:18Speaker 1: had on. He made that understood. Tell me where are
- 15:23Speaker 1: you going with this? Where you going? Where you heard it?
- 15:29Speaker 1: I said, you all look really nice. You look like
- 15:32Speaker 1: you belong on television. What I was going to say
- 15:36Speaker 1: was I've seen people in radio go on TV and
- 15:40Speaker 1: explain why they belong just on radio. But Steve, you
- 15:47Speaker 1: know your crew doesn't roll like we fly. But dog
- 15:52Speaker 1: can't I complic man, you know, I'm just comflant on it.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But see for you all to take it to get
- 15:57Speaker 1: ready to go to other way. Wait a minute, Wall
- 16:00Speaker 1: not me, not me, I'm new, not already. I know
- 16:08Speaker 1: he didn't like what I had on that time. Look,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you are the only one that had on a tuck
- 16:13Speaker 1: seed though, right, just trying to look nice, That's all
- 16:21Speaker 1: I was trying. And Tommy Prime season two, so you
- 16:24Speaker 1: was you was dead. I thought she was going to
- 16:31Speaker 1: get it. Of course she's gonna pick your data after
- 16:36Speaker 1: the show. You was dead, Tim Tommy, I was gonna
- 16:42Speaker 1: do a come abund joke, but I ain't gonna even do.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not I'm not fought this morning with y'all.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I wasn't even trying to do that. And then said
- 16:55Speaker 1: he didn't like what they ain't that I didn't like.
- 16:57Speaker 1: It just struck me. Tell me, man, Julia said it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: See the show the path was quawl throwback. They're coming back, Carlin,
- 17:12Speaker 1: they're coming back. Sorry time, I don't mean don't so

- 18:49Speaker 1: cutting it is? How long? Hair Eve? I think you
- 18:54Speaker 1: couldn't have people had here, sure one. I remember when
- 18:58Speaker 1: I first coming down with cutting locks. I used to
- 19:00Speaker 1: do dudes. I didn't do warm hair cuts. I did
- 19:04Speaker 1: conk conk waves. I did it all not did you

- 21:02Speaker 1: you always bring up controversy. I don't know. I don't
- 21:07Speaker 1: know what it is about you on this shows, but
- 21:09Speaker 1: you just lee it's a question mant the shop. I'm
- 21:19Speaker 1: not gonna get into this with you because I got
- 21:21Speaker 1: sis in the business. Every time athing you've been on
- 21:24Speaker 1: this show, all of your cacizations cuts off the people.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You ain't gonna do that. I don't know because TV,

- 21:56Speaker 1: from the White House, and it always is some ladies
- 21:59Speaker 1: from the White House. But right now it's time for
- 22:02Speaker 1: am I being petty. Simple question you want to know?
- 22:13Speaker 1: It's pretty simple. I go first? Who going first? Go ahead? Okay,
- 22:21Speaker 1: y'all tell me. Now, I got a neighbor, that little
- 22:24Speaker 1: next door to me, that's got two dogs and for
- 22:27Speaker 1: some reason, you know, when they walk in the dog,
- 22:31Speaker 1: why do why do they walk the dog? And the
- 22:33Speaker 1: dog always poop on my yard? Now? Am I pity
- 22:37Speaker 1: to scoop that up and go dump it back off
- 22:39Speaker 1: on the front doorstep? Because that's what I did last
- 22:41Speaker 1: with You're dying right, I did it. It gives a message,
- 22:48Speaker 1: and that's what you're trying to do, a straight message,
- 22:53Speaker 1: and straight this is yours. I like, that's all I
- 23:01Speaker 1: want to know? Is this petty? Because on the flight
- 23:06Speaker 1: down there to Chicago we're gonna tape on the Steve Show,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'm sitting up against the window. Now I don't know
- 23:12Speaker 1: who my seat mate for to be. But then when
- 23:15Speaker 1: I saw him, he was a big guy by bout
- 23:17Speaker 1: three fifty. As soon I saw him put his bag
- 23:20Speaker 1: in the overhead being why did I go grab all
- 23:22Speaker 1: of the arm risks? So I didn't give him none? Yeah,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I didn't give him a corner of this arm risk
- 23:28Speaker 1: because what I even do we pick up against this
- 23:29Speaker 1: window and I have no arm room? Oh no, I'm
- 23:34Speaker 1: not like I was boxing out for a rebound. I
- 23:36Speaker 1: had my elbow so far? Am I being petty? Right alight,
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm in the airport, I'm in I'm in there. I
- 23:51Speaker 1: mean things out here on the outside, watch out there?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Now means he knows I'm in there, right, that's me.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I know he knows that I'm in there. Could you
- 24:04Speaker 1: get me an autograph? Right? And he slides the paper
- 24:08Speaker 1: up in there and I started and am I being petty? No? No, no,
- 24:26Speaker 1: I just want to know. That's being petty, little petty? Okay,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I got one, Okay, okay, okay, guys, I went to
- 24:39Speaker 1: my friend's house. Right, my girlfriend, a little hungry, asked
- 24:42Speaker 1: did she have any snacks? She said, yeah, yeah, you know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: got looking the pantry. Cool looked in the pantry. Okay,
- 24:48Speaker 1: so she none of her snacks they were They were
- 24:54Speaker 1: just a white bag bag with chips on that. I'm like,
- 25:00Speaker 1: you ain't got no brand name? No la oreo, definitely not. Okay, Okay,
- 25:08Speaker 1: you just can't enjoy You can't enjoy cookies that just
- 25:12Speaker 1: say cookies. Because it was sad. We still doing engineering.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I said, that's all right. So you know, petty, I'm good,
- 25:28Speaker 1: You're good, You're good. All right, tell me if I'm
- 25:30Speaker 1: being petty. All right, this one walks up to me.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Oh so you're Shirley Strawberry. Huh? And I said, yes,
- 25:37Speaker 1: you know, just like that. We were in the airport. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: you know, just like that. She was behind the counter,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and so she had like a little something in her nose. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 1: a little something. I just didn't like the way she
- 25:51Speaker 1: came at me, so I didn't tell her. You know,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I didn't make the gesture you know, you know, you
- 25:56Speaker 1: do that gesture you got something. You know. I didn't
- 25:58Speaker 1: do it. I didn't do it. I just let it go,
- 26:00Speaker 1: took my ticket, let her check my bags, and I
- 26:03Speaker 1: went on. I would never I would say something, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you got something, and when they walk with and that's
- 26:16Speaker 1: why you got that. And I don't consider myself a
- 26:21Speaker 1: petty at all till you okay something. You know, this
- 26:29Speaker 1: happened a while back, and I never the person that
- 26:32Speaker 1: spoke to me. No mo, So okay, I thought they
- 26:36Speaker 1: were tripping a little bit. You know, I'm over this
- 26:41Speaker 1: girl's house and she invited me over there to play cards,
- 26:46Speaker 1: you know, with her sisters, and uh, I'm over there,
- 26:49Speaker 1: you know, and they got a little problem at the house.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You know, you know we all in the hood. Everybody
- 26:54Speaker 1: had a mare not there but then and a real
- 26:57Speaker 1: bad problem with roaches. And we're playing cards, and you know,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I don't I don't like them. So you know, at
- 27:04Speaker 1: our house, if we ever saw one, it was a
- 27:06Speaker 1: murder attack. And then try to trade back when it
- 27:12Speaker 1: comes from spraying. You had to get a lot of
- 27:14Speaker 1: stuff working. But they obviously had just free rein over
- 27:17Speaker 1: this hire playing cards and every time we playing cars,
- 27:22Speaker 1: and so I see water, you know, you know with
- 27:25Speaker 1: the cards, you know what you know what about you know,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I killed about six roaches on the wall, the table,
- 27:36Speaker 1: you know, on the float, you know, I just stepping
- 27:41Speaker 1: roaches and so then so then her sisters sitting there.
- 27:45Speaker 1: That's so it's just say, so you're just tripping. I'm
- 27:51Speaker 1: looking at her like excuse me, Oh, so you're just
- 27:55Speaker 1: gonna keep doing that in front of us, that's rude.
- 28:00Speaker 1: What Now, as soon as she said I'm rude, here
- 28:05Speaker 1: come another one. So I let it walk a little
- 28:08Speaker 1: bit further than I would normally, and then I just
- 28:12Speaker 1: couldn't take it no more. And I and not a girl.
- 28:18Speaker 1: She don't speak to me no more because just always
- 28:22Speaker 1: been so you just tripping. I'm we're not coming. It's
- 28:37Speaker 1: just not used to that. I want you to take
- 28:43Speaker 1: this one with an open man. Now, be open with me, okay,
- 28:47Speaker 1: all right? And I'm just I'm not doing a prank call,
- 28:49Speaker 1: but y'all right with me? Am? I being petty When
- 28:52Speaker 1: I called owner of another radio show and I only
- 28:58Speaker 1: I called once a day at all, I said, what
- 29:01Speaker 1: the hell was you thinking? Right there? I call a
- 29:23Speaker 1: person that owns another radio show. I called one today
- 29:27Speaker 1: and I only say one line and I hang up.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I just say, what the hell was you thinking? It's
- 29:40Speaker 1: a good I got this one right here? Okay, all right.
- 29:49Speaker 1: There's some people you work with and they keep saying
- 29:52Speaker 1: things and you know, put you on the spot all
- 29:55Speaker 1: the time. I mean, like all the damn i'd I
- 29:59Speaker 1: want to keep this job right right right? Am I
- 30:02Speaker 1: being pitted? If I asked him to stop gonna worry
- 30:13Speaker 1: about that? Stop, I shouldn't took the job. Comes with
- 30:19Speaker 1: the job, you, Yeah, Oh, we do what we was doing.
- 30:27Speaker 1: That's the Steve question, is it all right? Coming up?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Miss and we'll be here with our national headlines and
- 30:37Speaker 1: are talking. You're listening to Steven Show. Alrighty we go,
- 30:43Speaker 1: Uh Steve, Jay, come on, Junior and Tommy. Now, this
- 30:48Speaker 1: is according to New York Times, France just elected a
- 30:52Speaker 1: new president. Okay, he's thirty nine year old Emmanuel my Krong. Alright,
- 30:57Speaker 1: chron Yeah, he's thirty nine. That's not the that's a
- 31:00Speaker 1: great story, but that's just part of the story. One
- 31:05Speaker 1: fun fact about this guy. He's married to a sixty
- 31:08Speaker 1: four year old woman. Sixty four year old woman is
- 31:14Speaker 1: the president of France. He just he's newly elected. He's
- 31:18Speaker 1: thirty nine years old. His wife is sixty four Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 31:25Speaker 1: he got a lot of money. Well, he she was
- 31:27Speaker 1: his school teacher. She was his teacher when he was younger. Anyway,
- 31:32Speaker 1: scientists have seen this younger man older woman trend gained
- 31:35Speaker 1: momentum through the years, especially since more and more families
- 31:38Speaker 1: have been pulling in double incomes because women, like you, say, Steve,
- 31:42Speaker 1: have more economic power A lot of them do. Younger
- 31:44Speaker 1: guys are looking for women who either make as much
- 31:47Speaker 1: money as they do or more and have similar or
- 31:51Speaker 1: higher levels of education. So while it steel might look
- 31:54Speaker 1: weird to many people, I mean, we don't say anything
- 31:57Speaker 1: if it's the reverse. If a man marries a younger
- 32:00Speaker 1: I'm a much younger woman. It's definitely more common than
- 32:03Speaker 1: ever these days. So Steve, I gotta ask you and
- 32:06Speaker 1: the guys as well. Have you ever dated an older woman? Yes,
- 32:11Speaker 1: quite a few. I'm looking for one. Not about a
- 32:13Speaker 1: hundred teams with money. One team just loaded. Yeah, just
- 32:21Speaker 1: a lot of money. Yeah yeah, right back. You get
- 32:32Speaker 1: a stack of that money. So you have dated older? Yeah?
- 32:46Speaker 1: What she didn't have money? No, you don't know. I
- 32:50Speaker 1: didn't need Oh okay, just like oh man lord ha mercy,
- 32:56Speaker 1: I got trained like no, ma'am, no, ma'am no, no,
- 33:06Speaker 1: no single. When I say old, I was, you know,
- 33:09Speaker 1: not that old. I was like twenty to three. Uh huh,
- 33:15Speaker 1: she's about thirty two three that Typehold, oh okay, years.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I wouldn't mind dating the eight old because if you
- 33:26Speaker 1: see me operating the wheelchair list, it's something going down.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm go go, I'm gonna try. You know, you guys
- 33:33Speaker 1: are just doing it for money or you really like
- 33:37Speaker 1: hell no, I was no money back there. Okay, but
- 33:40Speaker 1: right now, just fine than period all out money? Oh okay,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and she taught you things she said she had to
- 33:48Speaker 1: be fine, none of that all right, right ten though,
- 33:57Speaker 1: find find the k yeah, nephew, quickly. I actually had
- 34:09Speaker 1: an older woman in college, but she was a professor's wife.
- 34:12Speaker 1: But I was just trying to get a grade and
- 34:14Speaker 1: I got. I got what I needed in chemistry. That's
- 34:18Speaker 1: is this? Is this too am I being penny? Is
- 34:19Speaker 1: this too much? We got to swing it to the
- 34:32Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. She's here, the lovely talented ms an trip.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you everybody. Good morning, everybody.
- 34:39Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Okay, well everybody
- 34:42Speaker 1: knows it now. Donald Trump's fired FBI Director James Comey.
- 34:45Speaker 1: He found out. Comey found out from television. White House, folks.
- 34:49Speaker 1: When Sean Spicer says the president acted on the recommendation
- 34:52Speaker 1: of U. S. Attorney Jeff Sessions and the Deputy Attorney General,
- 34:56Speaker 1: and a statement quotes Trump is saying that the FBI
- 34:58Speaker 1: is quote one of our nation most cherished and respected institutions,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and today will mark a new beginning for our crown
- 35:05Speaker 1: jewel of law enforcement unquote Comy has been under fire
- 35:08Speaker 1: for the comments he made during a recent Capitol Hill
- 35:11Speaker 1: hearing about the agency's Clinton email investigation, and the current
- 35:14Speaker 1: administration might not have liked the way Comey phrase the
- 35:18Speaker 1: way he said he feels if his announcement of that
- 35:21Speaker 1: eleventh hour email probe might have sabotaged Hillary Clinton's presidential bid.
- 35:25Speaker 1: He said like this, it makes me mildly nauseous to
- 35:28Speaker 1: think that we might have had some impact on the election,
- 35:31Speaker 1: But honestly it wouldn't change the decision ever. So that
- 35:35Speaker 1: they might have not liked the fact that he used
- 35:37Speaker 1: the word nauseous, but anyway, they were really upset supposedly
- 35:41Speaker 1: that Comey wouldn't say hunt blank that there was no
- 35:43Speaker 1: relationship between the Russians and a Trump campaign. That's the
- 35:46Speaker 1: big rumor. Meanwhile, the White House is still trying to
- 35:48Speaker 1: address persistent questions about how much it knew about former
- 35:52Speaker 1: National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's contacts with Russian officials, in
- 35:56Speaker 1: the wake a former Acting Attorney General Sarah Yates's testimony
- 36:00Speaker 1: in which she said she warned the Trump white House
- 36:02Speaker 1: that Flynn could be blackmail by them as usual. White
- 36:05Speaker 1: House spokesman Sean Spicer's left to explain she had come
- 36:09Speaker 1: here given a heads up, told us the own materials,
- 36:12Speaker 1: and at the same time we did what we should do.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Just because someone comes in and gives you a heads
- 36:15Speaker 1: up about something and says I want to share some
- 36:18Speaker 1: information doesn't mean that you immediately jumped the gun and
- 36:20Speaker 1: go take an action. I think if you flipped this
- 36:22Speaker 1: scenario and say, what if we had just dismissed somebody
- 36:25Speaker 1: because a political appointent of the president had made an utterance,
- 36:28Speaker 1: you would argue that it was pretty irrational to act
- 36:31Speaker 1: from that manner. We did what we were supposed to do.
- 36:33Speaker 1: The Trump administration waited eighteen days to dismiss Flynn after
- 36:36Speaker 1: yates his warnings not to mention the fact that President
- 36:39Speaker 1: Obama warned Trump about hiring Flynn personally right after the
- 36:42Speaker 1: election when they met. The Trump White House, though continues
- 36:45Speaker 1: to defend Flynn's integrity even though they let him go.
- 36:48Speaker 1: The father of the fifteen year old black teenager shot
- 36:50Speaker 1: dead by now fired Suburban Dallas cop is suing that
- 36:53Speaker 1: ex officer Roy Oliver over that sickening incident. Mr Odell
- 36:57Speaker 1: Edwards seeking undisclosed damages from Oliver for shooting his son Jordan's,
- 37:01Speaker 1: point blank in ahead with a rifle as Jordan and
- 37:03Speaker 1: his brothers tried to drive away from a party that
- 37:05Speaker 1: had gotten to rowdy. Roy Olivers already charged with murder.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Unfortunate sign of the times. A racist flyers circulated University
- 37:12Speaker 1: of Texas. It says, and I quote, a notice to
- 37:15Speaker 1: all white Americans. That's your civic duty. Report any all
- 37:18Speaker 1: illegal aliens to US Immigrations officials. And today is national
- 37:22Speaker 1: tear the tags off the mattress Day. We'll be back
- 37:26Speaker 1: at Eugene the Butterflies twenty minutes after the hour. Stay
- 37:28Speaker 1: tuned to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, ladies and gentlemen,
- 37:36Speaker 1: he's here without further two. Eugene Good Marning, Good morning, Stephen,
- 37:43Speaker 1: Tommy Shirley, Carla Junior, j Anthony Brown. Today flat and flatter.
- 37:52Speaker 1: You know what. Normally I'm gonna have a blog and
- 37:54Speaker 1: all of that, But today it's about me. Today is
- 37:57Speaker 1: my day. I am debuting at the Junior Black Academy
- 38:00Speaker 1: of Arts and Letters. I am gracing the stage in
- 38:03Speaker 1: the play Um Mama's Boy, Oh my god, Dallas is
- 38:07Speaker 1: not ready for me. This is going to be south south,
- 38:09Speaker 1: south south good. And I guess what I wanted to
- 38:12Speaker 1: do today is the three gentlemen um in time as well.
- 38:16Speaker 1: That would be for so you guys, if y'all could
- 38:18Speaker 1: give me some type of tips as I graced the
- 38:21Speaker 1: stage in the play, you know, just something to to
- 38:24Speaker 1: give me some encouragement, because that's what I want. And
- 38:26Speaker 1: we're gonna start with Junior out there, that's right away. Okay,
- 38:37Speaker 1: let's go with Jay Anthony Brown. Are you singing a song?
- 38:40Speaker 1: Are you dancing? Now? I'm not singing. I'm not dancing
- 38:45Speaker 1: or singing or anything. I'm one of the characters in
- 38:47Speaker 1: the play. So it's it's I'm moving the story along,
- 38:50Speaker 1: but I'm not. You gotta grab crush the audience attention.
- 38:56Speaker 1: You gotta go out there. That's south grous now of
- 39:02Speaker 1: thirty seconds, I'm tworking and not grabbing my crish. That
- 39:04Speaker 1: is not actually doing. Michael Jackson looked like Steven, I
- 39:10Speaker 1: think you're gonna have me something because you're always a
- 39:12Speaker 1: good motivational person. So give me something, just something that
- 39:15Speaker 1: makes my presence, you know, big. When I when I
- 39:18Speaker 1: hit the stage. One wats enough. I think your outfits
- 39:20Speaker 1: and your persona and personality carries the day. I don't
- 39:24Speaker 1: think you need to add anything. You shouldn't work. It
- 39:26Speaker 1: sends the wrong message we're already thinking anyway. I don't
- 39:32Speaker 1: think tworking is what you do. Plus you got a
- 39:34Speaker 1: high as twerking. You're gonna knock yourself out concussion and
- 39:43Speaker 1: you're good. All the swollen areas behind your ears, that's
- 39:49Speaker 1: not It seems like none of this information I've been giving.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Maybe I should have went with the girls, Carl. Is
- 39:55Speaker 1: that the way you can help? Because the boys are
- 39:57Speaker 1: just terrible. I don't know, Dad, Walk, I don't stay
- 40:00Speaker 1: do to dab about something. I don't know what have
- 40:04Speaker 1: you been doing in rehearsal? Yeah, I don't know what
- 40:07Speaker 1: the day Shirley. I think you should come out on
- 40:12Speaker 1: a trapeeze now, I like that, in a flowing out,
- 40:15Speaker 1: or have some people carry you out. Yeah, I want
- 40:21Speaker 1: I want you to hear me out. I wanted to
- 40:23Speaker 1: be lowered on one of those ribbons, like the girls
- 40:26Speaker 1: be dancing on the ribbons. What do you think of that?
- 40:29Speaker 1: Stud I think that's horrible. Yeah, why don't you just
- 40:35Speaker 1: crush me some mach you ask me, don't ask me?
- 40:39Speaker 1: Then side looking behind out on the ribbons. You ain't
- 40:43Speaker 1: going the ribbon strong enough change or something? All right,
- 40:49Speaker 1: coming up yourself. It's gonna murder another hit. You're listening
- 40:56Speaker 1: ste all right, say come on, we gotta murder to hit.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Eric Abad, I love her. Her son was called windows.

- 45:02Speaker 1: Did you guys know that? Yeah, I'm changing the subject,
- 45:04Speaker 1: can you tell? ABC has confirmed it has signed a
- 45:08Speaker 1: deal with the long running UH Singing Competition, which spent
- 45:11Speaker 1: I didn't know this fifteen seasons on Fox. But a
- 45:15Speaker 1: lot of people think it left too soon. Well that's
- 45:17Speaker 1: the only shot of people became hits of no disrespect
- 45:20Speaker 1: to the voice, but people didn't break out, right, Yeah. Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 1: The host and judges will be announced later. Ryan Seacrest,

- 55:47Speaker 1: a rundown of some of the most common lies that
- 55:50Speaker 1: people tell their partners. Lies like I'm listening, Go ahead,
- 55:53Speaker 1: I'm listening. No, I've only had one drink. I didn't

- 56:14Speaker 1: keep going. I was out with friends, I was out
- 56:19Speaker 1: with I use a specific name in a place. Yeah,
- 56:26Speaker 1: with the Junior's house. Always good. Okay, I've definitely heard
- 56:32Speaker 1: with me and my wife, no good to here were
- 56:36Speaker 1: you know you ain't at Junior's house. That's okay. Here's one.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Here's one I've never heard. I like your cooking, I
- 56:45Speaker 1: like your cocking. You never I've never heard that. Was
- 56:50Speaker 1: already even lied to you and tell you side you
- 56:53Speaker 1: just look at the plate and walk off. I'm just
- 56:57Speaker 1: trying to understand because I'm new here. You don't cook
- 56:59Speaker 1: at all. Sorry, okay, I'm never there's a microwave. Okay,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I've never cheated on you. I've never cheated us. Guys saying,
- 57:18Speaker 1: because we're not having that conversation. And here's another one
- 57:23Speaker 1: one yeah, yeah, I like your parents. Yeah, now that
- 57:28Speaker 1: one I've I've told the truth and nats got me
- 57:30Speaker 1: in trouble. Ain't getting around. They also found that one
- 57:37Speaker 1: and ten people lie regularly to their partner and don't
- 57:41Speaker 1: completely trust their current partner. Five percent say that they
- 57:45Speaker 1: don't trust them at all. I think the biggest lat is.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I'm not lying, but me Lyon has kept us together.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I will because Steve, Steve loves to. I mean, he'll
- 57:59Speaker 1: tell you a lie when the truth will do Why not.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I learned that from him to keep shop just in
- 58:08Speaker 1: case I don't. I don't like like right now, I
- 58:11Speaker 1: don't have to lie nearly as much as I used to,
- 58:16Speaker 1: but I don't practice occasionally in case I need it,
- 58:19Speaker 1: Like I asked me something right quick show? All right?
- 58:21Speaker 1: Come on, Strawberry letter coming up next. No, it's not huh,
- 58:26Speaker 1: it's just like you got everybody out here. That's what

- 58:40Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here it is
- 58:42Speaker 1: Strawberry letter subjects. Let me get to this. Too much sex? Now? What?
- 58:52Speaker 1: Too much sex? Now? What do I question? Mark, Dear
- 58:57Speaker 1: Morning Grew. I have a problem and don't know what
- 58:59Speaker 1: to do. My husband's a preacher, and I love sex,
- 59:04Speaker 1: not just with my husband but with anyone I can seduce.
- 59:10Speaker 1: It was at first a quest and conquer, but now
- 59:14Speaker 1: it's out of hand. Steve. Now my husband's best friend
- 59:17Speaker 1: made a pass at me, and now I don't feel
- 59:19Speaker 1: so good about this one. I want to tell my husband,
- 59:22Speaker 1: but scared it will create a mess and reveal my
- 59:25Speaker 1: side sex life. I want to clean slate and focus
- 59:28Speaker 1: on my marriage. But what should But But should I
- 59:31Speaker 1: take a chance and tell him or just lay low
- 59:34Speaker 1: and say nothing? It's a mess and I don't know
- 59:37Speaker 1: what to do. Should I lay my sexing ways down
- 59:40Speaker 1: and move on without bringing it up for the first time?
- 59:43Speaker 1: I actually feel bad about what I did and want
- 59:47Speaker 1: to change. But will it be the best? Will it
- 59:49Speaker 1: be best to reveal all or nothing? Thanks? Uh? You
- 59:54Speaker 1: know what? I am glad that you've seen the light
- 59:58Speaker 1: and have come to your senses. I want you know
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: the fact that you you have recognized it and admitted
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: it and want to change. That's a really good thing.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Should you tell your husband? You ask? That's a hard
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: one for me because I do believe in the truth.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I believe that it does set you free and all that.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: But I think that you know, if you tell your
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: husband this one, it could have some terrible, terrible, terrible repercussions,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: not just for you but for him. You know, your marriage,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: of course, the church, everything you know. I think maybe
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you should repent um you know, change your ways, pray,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: deal with God on this one. And uh, you know,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: hope that your husband never finds out, but you know change,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you definitely need to do that. Steve home is me
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: already m hm, Well the sexy preach your wife too much? Six?
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Now what do I do? First? I want to know
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: why you are writing us. If you're the preacher's wife,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I would think that you would know something about faith,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: but obviously, due to your actions, you don't care nothing
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: about your faith. So now you've decided to write a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: national radio show about an issue. This seems to me
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: more like something you would take to God himself. I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: would kind of take this one to God, because really
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: we can't help you. There's nothing we can tell you.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: But since you wrote me, here is the human response.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: This is none of this that I'm about to say.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: It's gonna be what God would say, you wrote, Steve,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Dear Morning Crew, We'll hear what the Morning crew thinks.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I have a problem. I don't know. My husband's are
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: preaching and our love sex. Ain't nothing wrong with that,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: just not with my husband, but with anybody I can subdue,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: damn anybody. You just all over the church. Now, it
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: was at first quest and conquer, but nigh's out of hand. Okay,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: so hold long. Now. It ain't quest and conquer now
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: it's just everybody. So you're not seducing anybody anymore. You're
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: just out there spreading your peanut butter around on everybody bread.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: These people got peanut butter on them, don't even want it.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: You didn't pass it out so much. Now that the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: man's your your your husband's best friend, don't seduced you.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: You know why, because he didn't heard about you. It's
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: all over the church a matter of fact, it's all
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: over the church convention. You all down at the Baptist
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: convention with this hell, You all over at the coach
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: at convention with it. You all down at the Catholic
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: dills Is meeting you die or whatever it is Diallas
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: that that's a kid you're down there? Where are you at? You'
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: up at the kidney center with the dials patients passing
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: it up. You just got your cookie is just crumbs.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: It's just crumbs. It ain't even a whole cooking no more.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: It's just cooking dust. You that stuff in the bottom
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: of the cooking bag that you sprinkle in your hand
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and you don't bite it. You lick it out. Your
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: cooking is dusty. So when I come back, Dusty, we're
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: gonna share with you. I can't help you, but I
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: can tell you what's gonna happen when you walk in
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: the house and tell your husband this foolish moment. You
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: fit the hell you're listening to, Steve, get ready, guys,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Gospel great, our friend, our family. Y Linda Adams will
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: be our special guests. Y Linda Adams where they're tall
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: beautiful self will be our guests at forty one after
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the hour. But all right, Steve, come on with part two.

- 1:04:02Speaker 1: He's God's little Christians. Come on your response to this
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: crazy letter, this crazy show, these crazy people. All right, Steve,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: come on fish Dear Morning crew, we'll hear what the
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Morning crew think. My husband's a preacher and I love sex.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with that. Just not with my husband,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: but with anybody I can subduce, Damn anybody. You're just
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: all over the church. Now. It was at first quest
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: and conquer, but knives out of hand. Okay, so hold on,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: the lady, that's too much sex. Now what do I
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: do she's sleeping around on her husband, who happens to
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: be a preacher. She loves sex, not just with my husband,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: but with anybody I can subduce. Well. Now her husband's
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: best friend made a pass. I mean, she don't feel
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: so good about this one. Here's what a letter gets
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: real stupid. It's already ignorant, but let's let's go to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the next level. I want to tell my husband, but
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: scared it will create mess and reveal my sex side. Lady,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: don't you're already stupid. Okay, don't don't. Don't take it
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: to the levels of no return. If your husband isn't
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: questioning you about it, don't not tell your husband this.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: No man is gonna handle this information well coming from
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: his wife. This is not gonna be your husband after
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you share this information with him. I can assure you
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: that we do not really do well when it comes
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: to accepting women who cheat on us. Women are far
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: better at it. I have a theory on why that is,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: but it's mostly to do with our ego. See, we
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: look at sex differently than women do. Women supposedly have
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: more of a caring want to feel something for you
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: before I do it. A guy ain't gotta have none
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: of that. And once we're done, we figured, once we wash,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: we cool. That's how men look at it. It's very
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: simple to them. But we all know that our woman
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: can't wash that part away, and it's ours and you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: didn't gave my own way, our lord, our ego is crushed.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Somebody else been in my cooking, y'all? Are you crazy?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, our ego. We can't stand to run
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: up into a guy. That's that's that's come on, man
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: had our cookie when it's supposed to be our cookie.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: So if you go tell your husband it's over, I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: can assure you that you would be better off doing
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: like you said. Should I just lay my sexing ways
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: down and move on without bringing it up? Yes? You should.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: The problem you have is can you do it? So?
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You can't have You can't lay your sexing ways down
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: without a serious conversation with God because you were in
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: deep I mean, you know wrong is wrong. You know
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: addiction is addiction, if it's a drug or if it's
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: sex you addicted to. This sounds like to me you
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: need some help from a higher being. If you're not
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: going to include God and you'll change. I really don't
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: see what you're gonna do. I actually feel bad about
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: what I did and want to change. Well, that's between
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you and God. I think be glad about that. Though.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I'm glad she does want to change and that you
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: know she has a good sense to at least feel
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: bad about it. You don't get a prize for feeling
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: bad about that. Email US or Instagram is your thoughts
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: on today's strawberry letter at my Girl, Shirley. Okay, my
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: girls Shirley switching gears here now. Former President Bill Clinton
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: still in the news. He's about to add novelists to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: his resume. The former president has teamed up with popular
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: writer James Patterson to co write a thriller. It's titled
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: The President Is Missing. I love this title. I love
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: this title. Yeah. The book is scheduled for release in
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: June of two thousand and eighteen, that's next year. It's
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: about the disappearing of a sitting president. In the press release,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Clinton and says working on a book about a sitting president,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: drawing on what I know about the job, life in
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: the White House and the way Washington works, has been
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: a lot of fun. That means he knows enough stuff
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: about being president. A president could actually be missing. Hey guys,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: it's just a book. We could only wish. It's just
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: a book. It's just the title of a book, though,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: but I love it. You could only wish. Alright, alright,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Oh this is interesting. Uh you know how we get
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: these surveys. Here's another new survey. It says seventy nine
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: percent of adults in America eat fast food at least
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: once per week. At least once a week. But he
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: would think, but you would think it would be an
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: economic thing. You know, you do it for financial reasons.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: But it's not just poor people who are lining up
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: at the drive through. Instead, researchers found I know what
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you just said, Steve, I heard you. But they found
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: that even the richest Americans are eating as much fast
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: food as the rest of us. It's I mean, I mean,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I mean that could be true. I just said, I
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: don't go seventy knocks, not once a week, but the
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: last time I went though double fish. Baby. Yet the
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: double filet of fish gotta get amazing. It's hard of sauce, cheese.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: It's one of those you gotta punk up to the
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: side from the fix it It's worth the Oh my god,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: it's you can't bringing out. You gotta and that though
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: him into something because it ain't what they're like. They
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: got to get the manager and everything. Yeah, they don't
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: know that ain't subtracting no more. So you gotta go
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: get help because it ain't a button for that. But yeah,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: you know a right, rich people in line with us.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: That's alright, rich people. It's unhealthy, but it's saved so
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: much time. I ain't gonna lie to you. I didn't
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: been through that in the row. You have you been
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to your hell? Yeah, pull right up on the hard time, sir.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Here go here, gop pull up. That'll be that'll be
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: eight fifty ah hell no, hell no, man, Mr how
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: y'all coming up your Landa Adams is next. We gotta
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: just this promise. You're listening, Steve Hardy morning shouting as
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I'm uh. We got a family member on the phone.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: She's a Grammy Award winning a first Lady or Modern Gospel. Yeah,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I like that. Shirley Caesar would be the god mother
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: of gospel. But this is the first Lady or modern
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Gospel at least thirteen album whoa and that she is
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: my sister. She is my little most saved sister. She's
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the best selling author for the past ten years. She's
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: been working with me down to Disney Dreams Academy Mentory
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: that all the kids that come down the man performing
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff. The girl is endless. Man. But
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: last night she really she got the biggest award ever,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: and we invited her on the show to congratulate her.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Please welcome to the show, everybody. The one and only
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Yalanda Adams. I started calling names. I know I'm gonna
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: forget Junior, so well, I'm I'm just gonna say, hey, family,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: what's up the morning? Morning? Jaw are you doing Yeah,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I'm here, Yeah, yeah, I'm here to talk. J oh oh,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: you can speak now. The only time I get to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: top Judge Steve was when I was in the airport
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: and we can when we were sharing studios. Yeah, oh
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: my god. Yeah, and I couldn't play my music. How
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: y'all doing, man, we're doing good? You know, we we
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: we wanted to reach out to her because man, I
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: wanted to tell y'all something. We wanted to congratulate my sister. Uh,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Yolanda is like my little sister. This, this is my
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: little sister. That's that's most saved than me though. You
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: know you got that, little sister, because come here, bro,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: come here, come here. Now. You ain't fit to do that, now, Steve, Steve, Steve,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you're going too far? All right, baby, alright, cool, I'll
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: back up. But but she's like a sister to me,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and I wanted to call her and get on the
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: phone because ladies and gentlemen, we wanted to congratulate Yolanda
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Adams on being inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Egg How does that feel for you, Yolanda? Did you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: ever see that coming? Was that a goal? One? Well,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: first of all, you I mean, just like in comedy, uh,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: music is the same. You never look at Okay, I
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: want to get this award. I want to do this.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I want to do that. You always want to impact
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: the people, which means you impact the world. And you
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: know the Grammys all of that stuff. You know, this award,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's just like icing on the cake.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: And I'm glad that I'm not nine years old to
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: receive it. Um, you know, I'm receiving it in my fifties.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Phraise the Lord. Uh. But it makes you feel like, man,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: the body of work that you've done already is phenomenal,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: But wait until they see the body of work that
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I'm about to do. Man. I mean, but you know what,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: you have been such a huge part of the resurrection
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: of gospel music. And I say resurrection because it went
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: through a period where that was a change. That was
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: a change you know when it when it when it
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: became uh, you know what I'm saying. You know, when
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: gospel music became cool again? Right, when when it became
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: every day again, right right? And as you know, within
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: the last twelve years, ten twelve years, it's gone down
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: into a place that it's I don't think God intended
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: for it to go, but the powers that be started
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: doing stuff that you know, was not right. Certain people
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: couldn't have their There are things played on radio like
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: the quartets. You didn't hear as much of the quartet music,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: you didn't hear as much of the choir music. You
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: heard all of this very same cookie cutter kind of music.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: And it's like it's time for that resurgence to happen again. Yeah,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I think that the forefront, you know, yeah, because and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I think uh it and you you and you're at
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: the forefront of that too, because in one thing, you've
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: you've always kept his name in your music. And what
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: happens is when you take his name out the music.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: So I I and I was talking to Mary Mary
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: one time, and not to say they do it. I
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: was just talking to Mary Mary one time, and I
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: call him Christian club cuts. You know, they just c
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: C C s. They Christian club cuts. You know, Stomp
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: is a Christian club club cut. You know, nothing wrong
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: with it, but it's Stomp. They played, they played stop
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: at the club. You know. But you've you've always managed
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: to keep his name in your music, and you know,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: and you know something you land when a person get
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: in the dog place, they need to hear his name.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I'm you know, if I get in trouble, I'm not.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I love on, don't get me wrong. And Kirkus my boy,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: and he's got some great music out there. That's not
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: one of the I'm just using that as the most
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: popular example. But I don't saying stump when I get
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: in trouble, and most people are in trouble right now.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: You think about it, think about it. You know, the
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: way that things are happening in the world. And it's
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: not just in America. It's all over the world. You know.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Fear is becoming the you know, the breakfast of the day.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: It's like, no, we can't have You can't wake up
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: to fear. You gotta wake up to hope and faith. Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: up to hope and faith. Something is wrong. First of all,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: it has to start on the inside of you. If
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you're letting everything, all the traffic, all the noise around
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you and outside of you get in you, half of
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: your battle is already defeated. So that's where we come in.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: We have to give them the answer to life, the
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: answer to their situation, the answer to whatever, you know,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: in a joyous way. It can't be like a lot
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I feel bad now and it happen. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: although I'm here right now, I know there's better. Wow.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: You know what that that's that's that's the message. You know.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I wanted to say, Yolanda, congratulations so much on everything,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: for being an amazing talent, for being an amazing A
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: matter of fact, hey, hang on one second, cause I
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: got some more to talk to you about. So hang on.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: We're coming back more with Yolanda Adams right after this
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: don't go away. You're listening. Hey, we're back. Are We're
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: back with la Adams. Uh. We we were congratulating her. Originally,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: the car was just to talk about being inducted into
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, which is amazing. We've
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: been talking about the resurrection of gospel music, the pivotal
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: role that she's always playing in this and that she
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: is my sister. She as is my little most saved
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: sistem my big sister. Yes, I am Tommy. Well Tommy, everybody,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: your big sister alone, call your big sister, Sha, Monica,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: your twins. Hey, let me talk a little business with you, yo,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: because not only are you busy with your music, but
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: you've got a new endeavor. You got your own line
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: of coffee. It's called your line this coffee. When don't
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you get into that? Tell us about it? Where can
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: we find it? Come on, give us a scoop here. Well,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I love coffee number one. I don't like the bitter
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: taste that most generic coffee tasks. I like to stop ups.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Sorry that slipped out. That slipped out, that was an accident,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Go ahead it because I want them to put his
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: mind in there, like Oprah Hallelujah. But but the bite
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to me was too much, you know. And then I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: started getting into the gourmet coffees and I'm like, Okay,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I like the smoothness, but they don't have the flavors.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: So there's a company here in Houston who manufactures distributes everything,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and their plant is here, so I can actually go
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: in see where the beans come from, make sure that
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: it's organic, make sure that there's no pesticides and stuff
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: like that, because coffee really is good for you, for
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: those of us who wake up in the mornings and
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: we want that, you know, that extra boost and it
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: also helps in your workouts, all that good stuff. Because
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you know, I'm a Wellness Wednesday kind of person, and
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I had to make sure that, uh, you know, I
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: stood by my product. There was nothing in it that
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: would harm me or my child, because I don't want
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: it to harm anybody else in the world. And thus
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: we have wake Up with your Linda the coffee line,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: and Black Black Enterprise actually has me on their entrepreneurial
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: panel next week, uh, concerning the coffee and my other endeavors. Uh.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: The bodyline that Ms Carla was so sweet to try
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: for me, Thank you so much, ma'am. I love it,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Thank you and Linda, And so we're talking on panels
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: about how you know with black folks and you know this, Steve,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: you know this, Jay, I mean all of y'all know,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: because you're all in business for yourself. We can't just
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: walk into a bank and say, hey, I need a
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars to start this venture and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: here's my business plan and blah blah black. Nine times
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: out of ten we don't get those loan. So what
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you have to do is you have to invest in yourself.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: You have to get your cousins, your mama or your
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: friends and say hey, I need five thousand from you.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: You could give me twenty. I need twenty from you,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: and we need to do this thing. And so, you know,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: my story is a lot different because I have friends
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: who were in the NFL and the NBA who helped
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: me start the Bodyline one in particular Clyde Drexler. So
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: my story is very different from folks who walk in,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you know, with their n b a's and you know,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: have all the right words and articulate their business plan
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: and stuff like that and happen to get the Moneys
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: I had to get it another way. So I am
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: an example of what you can do with what God
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: has given you through all the obstacles. That is it is,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you know, and it speaks to people on so many levels, because,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: like you say, a lot of us, the average person
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: can't walk into a bank and say, boy, I got
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: a great idea. Yeah, okay, yeah exactly they do. Yeah
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that's what I thought. Why are you quiet? What's what's
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the quietness? Yes, that's it. I'm praising with mind so
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I could imagine you can get the coffee at Yolanda
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Adams Live. Check my social mind, all my social landa
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Adams Live. And I just want to thank everybody who
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: has had a hand in making the copy of success,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the bodyline of success, the clothing line of success. And
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: we're coming out with handbags and shoes and another like
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: a pimp Christian. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. See how that
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: slipped out, and you see how I kept moving. But yo,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: but yo, it came out. I said, I just said,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: what did I just say? I said, can it like
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: a pimp? And I went, that is not that was
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: not a question. But then jasead a Christian pen in
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the news right now we can't go to but but seriously,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: I mean, if there's anything I learned from Steve and
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I have to say, and I say this all the time,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I learned that when God gives you the ability to
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: become an influence, you've got to move it into ways
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: where God opens doors for opportunity. And you see those opportunities.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Opportunities come every single day. The problem is we don't
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: see them as opportunity something. We see them as obstacles.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: And if you see an obstacle as an obstacle, you

- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Doors of the church. And now what two of more gather?
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: It's in the battle. It is airline travel. We're talking
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: about airline travel. We're really crazy right now. Did you
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: see the drama riot nearly brought out at Fort Lauderdale
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: International Airport Fort Lauderdale. This is in Florida. This was
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: a few days ago after Spirit Airlines canceled nine flights.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: The people just had enough. They had enough, that kept
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: had Yeah, but the cancelations were blamed on a labor
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: dispute between the airline and the pilots union. Why put
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: the people in the middle of this? Uh? It resulted
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: in some pilots refusing to fly the plane, so they
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: had to cancel all these flights. Following the announcement of
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: the cancelations, I mean, anger just boiled over. The passengers
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: began fighting with airline employees and the police officers. Spirit
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: a long time. It's been a long time coming for
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: this air whipping. So I understand this. Can you nobody
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: that upset for not getting on Spirit. That's just the thing.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: I don't know. That's where you are with this. They
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: gotta get oh, heir on. I need to get on Spirit.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: They gotta get home. Understand what we're talking Spirit. I've
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: never been on Spirit. They charged for everything everything ever,
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: like water, they charge for a charge for water. They
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: charge the judge for overhead. If you put a bag overhead,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: they charge you for that. For everything. Everything, They charge
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: for everything. Everything. Yeah, they charge for breathing. If you
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: breathe on this, there's a breathing chargeoid if the oxygen
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: mask drop down. For credit card, they go for Steve,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: you go to the restroom, there's a there's a dispenser
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: for toilet paper. Oh my, you better and they were
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: quarters bring your own paper. Yeah, for everything, it don't
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: matter what it is. Everything everything, No, they charged in.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: I think like three people were arrested, That's what I'm talking. Yeah,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: but people get home and they charged him for that though,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: as ud Hey, but the fight that broke out that
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: they kept showing on TV. What were the two girls
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: fighting about? Did anybody know they were fighting because they
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: were mad? They just know? Why were they fighting? Why
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: were the police pulling them away from each other? The
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: bird with the orange long gown on and the black
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: they were friends and what they started fighting? Oh, I
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: see what you're saying. I thought you meant they were
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: fighting fighting each other. There was just going on. I
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: saw her getting drug and a girl in black. Yeah,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: Monica said, we were friends in line at the counter. Well,
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: sometimes I I can break out. You know, you have
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: a friend that won't let it go and just let
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: it go, man, set friends like that turn on you.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: We're told that the women in the video had gotten
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: into a skirmish earlier on the plane and they knew
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: each other. They were eventually escorted away by airline employee
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: and as they were walking away, cops showed up. We
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: were told neither of the women wanted to press charges
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: against anyone. Yeah, that's who it was on the plane.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Following the announcement of the cancelations. I mean, anger just
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: boiled over. The passengers began fighting with airline employees and
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: the police officers. So I didn't know what. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: the video just looks like they're fighting the cops and
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: the airline employees. Yeah. This was a few days go
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: after Spirit Airlines canceled nine flights. The people just had enough.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: They had enough. That got bad. Yeah, but the cancelations
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: were blamed on a labor dispute between the airline and
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: the pilots union. Coming up, we're gonna play some jams,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: of course, and I'm gonna tell you about Kanye West.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: What he's doings. Been in the news a lot lately,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: but we'll tell you all right, the question of the
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: moment right now is where the world is Kanye West?
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Kanye alright, he thinks uh um thinks he's hiding in
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Wyoming to make a new album. Okay, that's what he yea,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: he thinks he's hiding. Okay, yes, Steve, what go ahead?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Go ahead? Go ahead? Oh you you said, Can I
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: tell you something? Okay? However, TMZ has leaked the details
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: of his wild West retreat. He's smack in the middle
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: of the creative process. Kanye social media blackout the other
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: day suggests new music was in the works. TMZ has
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: apparently confirmed just that this explains his absence from the
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: met gala. He was not there with his wife, kim Uh.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: She claimed it was his chance to babysit the kids.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: TMZ reported that Kanye has made several trips to a
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: secret mountain location. He may think he couldn't be found
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: in Wyoming, but we know otherwise can be easily. Have
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: you guys ever been to Wyoming for what an army
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: basis and there's there's some black people there, but you
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: will stand out. But he hasn't been right since he
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: hit his head on that stop sign you know, says
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: he walked right into that stop side. I didn't see
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: that the airport right, you know, it's outside. He was
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: walking and he's trying to avoid the PAP and he
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: had his head down and his ask walked right into
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: damn sign. And it's been strange, and so he hit
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: to stop sign and said, I need to go to Wyoming. Yeah,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I don't know, Junior, but he ain't been right since.
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: But since then he's got understanding down right down. But
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: there's a lot going on in that house, so that'll
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: me he go to Wyoming. Hey, stop that it is.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: None of the men have survived the Kardashian women. None
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: of the men, if all I know. That's that's what
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: they said, all ended up. Yeah, just a list of them.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: Lamar lamar, Reggie. Reggie wasn't Reggie Bush. Yeah, maybe he left,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: didn't he leave football? He was still played after survived that.

- 1:38:23Speaker 1: doing two hundred and fifty boys this year. My goal

- 1:39:06Speaker 1: what about locking ourselves up in jail for five hours

- 1:39:12Speaker 1: thought were just fighting against our kids going back in
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: the system. That's what I thought. Boy, So we're gonna
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: I wasn't going. I just was asking. You made the suggestion,
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: but you're not gonna do it. Hey, hey, hey, cut
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: out all this laughing because you got to fight to
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: come up with that idea. We're gonna announce money. We're
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: announcing it Monday, too, and it's something we're gonna do,
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: a ten day event or week or even just I
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: just told you we was gonna do it. This attitude
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: is not helping, sir. Two days to come up with
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: an idea and you're just gonna announce it on Monday,
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: an idea. And if y'all don't come up with something
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: about doing it by myself, you're not doing it by yourself.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: You got to Friday to come up with the idea
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: that we're gonna do as a group, and our goal
