- 2:05Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, do tickle me when I said, but
- 2:16Speaker 1: I do like I say always. It just is a
- 2:19Speaker 1: constant reminder of how good God has been, of all
- 2:23Speaker 1: the things he's brought me through, all the challenges he's
- 2:26Speaker 1: allowed me to overcome, all the times he's forgiven me,
- 2:31Speaker 1: all the times he's allowed me to get it all
- 2:33Speaker 1: wrong and turn around and get it right. And I
- 2:36Speaker 1: still got a lot of challenges in front of me,
- 2:39Speaker 1: still got a lot of changes. I probably need to
- 2:41Speaker 1: make some of My question to you is what's stopping
- 2:45Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? What's stopping
- 2:49Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: really know a person that doesn't want a good life
- 2:56Speaker 1: for themselves or for their families. Now, I know a
- 2:59Speaker 1: lot of people who have been beaten down by the process,
- 3:03Speaker 1: who because of some mistakes and some setbacks, some mishaps,
- 3:10Speaker 1: a set of circumstances. Uh, sometimes just life just deals
- 3:16Speaker 1: them a hand of cards and and they just figure
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's all defeat. I know a lot of people who
- 3:24Speaker 1: have given up on achieving the life of their dreams,
- 3:29Speaker 1: but I know they still want them if they could
- 3:32Speaker 1: get to them, But they just allowed to settle for
- 3:36Speaker 1: so many reasons. So who I'm talking to is you today?
- 3:41Speaker 1: What's really stopping you from having the life that you want?
- 3:45Speaker 1: What's really at the core of stopping you? What is that?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Is it your friends or your associates. Is it the
- 3:53Speaker 1: fear of what you think somebody else will think of
- 3:56Speaker 1: you if you decide to change. Is it what I
- 4:00Speaker 1: used to call the call of the wild? Is it
- 4:02Speaker 1: the fact that you keep thinking that the thing that
- 4:06Speaker 1: you're doing that's providing you these momentary moments of pleasure
- 4:11Speaker 1: that really ain't really good or healthy for you. You
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't want to stop doing that because you've got just
- 4:16Speaker 1: a little bit more something else you want to do.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I call that the call at a while. You know,
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's just out there the streets is calling you. Them lights,
- 4:24Speaker 1: is calling you, you know them, girls is calling you
- 4:27Speaker 1: them Guys that's on the wrong side, keep calling you.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 4:36Speaker 1: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 4:39Speaker 1: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 4:44Speaker 1: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 4:47Speaker 1: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 4:50Speaker 1: the end of the day, here's the real deal. See,
- 4:53Speaker 1: God is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: God wants the very best for all of us. That's
- 5:03Speaker 1: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 5:06Speaker 1: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 5:10Speaker 1: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 5:16Speaker 1: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 5:19Speaker 1: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 5:23Speaker 1: wide range of reasons, and misery love company. So usually
- 5:27Speaker 1: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 5:30Speaker 1: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 5:33Speaker 1: going to church, You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 5:36Speaker 1: really want you to go to church. You know your
- 5:39Speaker 1: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 5:42Speaker 1: as a solution to you. You know, your friends don't
- 5:47Speaker 1: really really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 5:52Speaker 1: people would treat you better. So what's that? So your
- 5:56Speaker 1: friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:59Speaker 1: to peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 6:02Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 6:04Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 6:08Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 6:12Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 6:16Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 6:18Speaker 1: went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 6:21Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 6:24Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would have had I
- 6:26Speaker 1: listened to the people around me who clearly told me
- 6:31Speaker 1: when I quit my job to pursue this boy, don't
- 6:34Speaker 1: you quit your job? You got a family, boy, don't
- 6:36Speaker 1: you do this? You ain't got no bit dad, ain't
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job. Go
- 6:42Speaker 1: down here and with your brother, go to work over here,
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to I heard all of that. I didn't let
- 6:48Speaker 1: that stop me from pursuing this. Why would you allow
- 6:51Speaker 1: that to stop you from pursuing your relationship with God
- 6:54Speaker 1: so you can have the best life you could possibly have.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You gang bang because they've convinced you that this is
- 7:01Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 7:08Speaker 1: only source of getting over. And then you drum up
- 7:12Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they
- 7:16Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you
- 7:20Speaker 1: surrounded by, telling you why we gang banging, Why we're
- 7:23Speaker 1: holding this blockdown while we slang in this thing here
- 7:27Speaker 1: right here, why we're letting it go like this here.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You keep listening to them when all in your heart
- 7:33Speaker 1: of hearts you know this ain't right, You already know,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but you allow that form of the call of the wild,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that wanting to be accepted by a group of people
- 7:44Speaker 1: who trying to get you to accept the way so
- 7:46Speaker 1: you can further their progress. To even prove that you're
- 7:49Speaker 1: worthy to be around them, you got to commit some
- 7:53Speaker 1: type of crime to even prove that you're worthy to
- 7:56Speaker 1: be around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:59Speaker 1: what happened to that? Where your family? And now they
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't come down there to see you because guess what,
- 8:05Speaker 1: they can't turn in their idea to death at a
- 8:07Speaker 1: law enforcement center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 8:13Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And then you learn that what is it to stopping
- 8:19Speaker 1: you from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 8:23Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 8:27Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 8:33Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 8:35Speaker 1: God a try? Why don't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 8:39Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 8:42Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 8:46Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 8:49Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:54Speaker 1: little silly little friends. Try to make you think that's
- 8:56Speaker 1: a badge of honor. There's no badge of honor. Man,
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's one mode. What's one more scratch on that record,
- 9:02Speaker 1: That's one more That's one more nail in that coffin.
- 9:06Speaker 1: That's one step closer to that third strike where you
- 9:09Speaker 1: ain't gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to
- 9:12Speaker 1: that graveyard. You keep on. Why would you not give
- 9:16Speaker 1: God to try? Why would you not go and see
- 9:18Speaker 1: what your life could really be? What is it that's
- 9:21Speaker 1: stopping you? What is it? Because see, I got news
- 9:25Speaker 1: for you. There's nothing like waking up free. I don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: care who you are. There's nothing like waking up with
- 9:33Speaker 1: the joy in your heart. Now, if you ain't gonna
- 9:35Speaker 1: be free, get the joy in your heart, the satisfaction
- 9:39Speaker 1: of knowing that you're accomplishing something with your life. Help
- 9:42Speaker 1: somebody behind them bars, get in the program. Show these
- 9:45Speaker 1: young cats when they come in a better way. But
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't you dare sit there man and just ride it out,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and man, just just go and get the fullest life
- 9:55Speaker 1: that you can have. What you know what it feels
- 9:58Speaker 1: like to wake up and be on your way somewhere,
- 10:01Speaker 1: knowing that you have something to accomplish, that you can
- 10:04Speaker 1: change somebody, that you can stop somebody from going down
- 10:06Speaker 1: the road you went down. It's a whole lot of
- 10:09Speaker 1: ways to make your life better. But why would you
- 10:11Speaker 1: not go and have the best life you can have?
- 10:13Speaker 1: What is it that's stopping you? What is it really really?
- 10:19Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 10:22Speaker 1: at heart? That della thing your mama kept telling you
- 10:25Speaker 1: about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that.
- 10:30Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to get back to where
- 10:32Speaker 1: you're from. It ain't ever too late go back home.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around. It ain't
- 10:39Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together. It ain't
- 10:41Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God. And it ain't ever
- 10:44Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 10:48Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 10:51Speaker 1: because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. I'm a

- 23:00Speaker 1: for for Lift, Man, I gave up a few things.
- 23:03Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I just thought that would
- 23:05Speaker 1: be a good thing, man, to try to do the
- 23:07Speaker 1: things that matter the most, uh, that you're addicted to,
- 23:10Speaker 1: you know, you want to get rid of. You know
- 23:12Speaker 1: what I'm saying, at least for Lynn is what I'm
- 23:14Speaker 1: trying to do. You feel me, Okay, I'm kind of confused.
- 23:18Speaker 1: But what they got to do with me? Well, basically, man,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm giving up for Lynn. You know, I
- 23:26Speaker 1: decided to give up uh, messing around with your wife,
- 23:31Speaker 1: you know, because because who who hold on? Man? Hold on? Man,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I'm at work. I don't know what you've come back,
- 23:39Speaker 1: but back up and rephrase everything you just said. Well,
- 23:44Speaker 1: like I say, Man, for Lynn, I'm trying to I'm
- 23:46Speaker 1: trying to give up stuff that I'm that I'm addicted to,
- 23:50Speaker 1: you know. And I just said that what they got
- 23:51Speaker 1: to do with me and my wife though, and you what,
- 23:54Speaker 1: E's what I'm trying to tell you, Man, I'm trying
- 23:56Speaker 1: to give up messing around with your wife for Lynn.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I mean, that's what I helped even up. I've given
- 24:00Speaker 1: up messing around with your wife for lynn, Man, we're
- 24:04Speaker 1: talking about man messing around with my wife. Man, got
- 24:06Speaker 1: no time for no games? Right now? Who this man?
- 24:10Speaker 1: What's your name again? This is Cliff Man. I actually
- 24:13Speaker 1: worked with her for the last ten twelve years. But
- 24:16Speaker 1: but what I wanted to really let you know is,
- 24:18Speaker 1: you know, her schedule probably gonna change because what we
- 24:20Speaker 1: used to be doing we ain't doing. So she's probably
- 24:23Speaker 1: gonna be coming home a little bit earlier, things like that.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But I don't I don't want you getting addicted to
- 24:27Speaker 1: it because you know, after Lenning is over, then you
- 24:31Speaker 1: know we'll be back what we used to do. Man,
- 24:33Speaker 1: what is you talking about? Man? Hold on, my wife's
- 24:37Speaker 1: going to be home in a minute. We're gonna talk

- 24:48Speaker 1: trying to say, Well, I'm saying I'm trying to do better.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You know, I gave up trying to do better. That
- 24:53Speaker 1: sounds like a bunch of to me. I got something
- 24:55Speaker 1: for you and my wife. True Okay, okay, okay, man,
- 24:59Speaker 1: I mean, ain't you feeling me? Don't trying to do better? Though?
- 25:01Speaker 1: I ain't feeling the thing you're calling me telling me
- 25:04Speaker 1: my wife. Fact, we need to meet up and talk
- 25:07Speaker 1: about this face to face. Clip what you think we
- 25:10Speaker 1: talked right now? If you want to have a conversation, No, no, no,
- 25:13Speaker 1: you just tell me your address and me and my
- 25:16Speaker 1: wife's gonna just come on over there. How about that?
- 25:19Speaker 1: And we all said, I have a little power. I
- 25:21Speaker 1: don't know who thank you is, man, but me and
- 25:24Speaker 1: my wife been together over fifteen years and we ain't
- 25:27Speaker 1: never had no problems with no like this, like the

- 25:49Speaker 1: the reason for the call was to let you know,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you know, don't get used to her schedule because after
- 25:54Speaker 1: lett it's gonna be back to the way it used
- 25:56Speaker 1: to be. That's all the phone. What's you tell came back.

- 29:08Speaker 1: y'all wrong for this man. This needs to be just
- 29:10Speaker 1: a low man. Man. I gotta ask you, baby, what's
- 29:14Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land? Man? Steve Harley morning.
- 29:19Speaker 1: So y'all with me? No, y'all they never gave up now,
- 29:25Speaker 1: y'all never gave up a person for a period of time.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I know nobody's done there, but you man, I'm the
- 29:32Speaker 1: onlyest one. You ain't never gave up people for. You
- 29:36Speaker 1: have to give up something for, right, right? But okay,
- 29:39Speaker 1: so what if? What have y'all giving up? About? To
- 29:41Speaker 1: give you up? That's what I was. I decided think
- 29:45Speaker 1: that's what I was for. Lick, you ain't money for
- 29:48Speaker 1: morty days. I go longer than that from now until Easter.
- 29:55Speaker 1: All right? Uh? Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:58Speaker 1: Miss Anne is gonna be here. He's gonna have today's
- 30:01Speaker 1: national news. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:07Speaker 1: This presidents say, everybody? All right, Steve well speaking of
- 30:10Speaker 1: presidents on this president Day, you guys hear about this.
- 30:13Speaker 1: This was an extraordinary indictment. The US Special Council has
- 30:18Speaker 1: accused thirteen Russians of an elaborate plot to disrupt the
- 30:24Speaker 1: two thousand sixteen presidential election. What they did is anyone's
- 30:33Speaker 1: surprised here any wait? Wait wait, wait wait wait wait?
- 30:36Speaker 1: Is pot is putin in that they didn't say you know,
- 30:40Speaker 1: they would have said if he the number. Okay, here's
- 30:46Speaker 1: what they've been charged with running a huge but hidden
- 30:50Speaker 1: social media trolling campaign. We know about those trolls aimed
- 30:54Speaker 1: in part at helping Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton. All right,
- 30:58Speaker 1: so there there you go, there you go. All right,
- 31:01Speaker 1: there there obviously was some collusion. Yeah, yeah, do unite
- 31:13Speaker 1: it or Delta fly to Wakonda. Yes, baby, Wakanda forever.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to get way. I ain't never coming back.
- 31:27Speaker 1: What an outstanding movie, Black Panther, and the first movie
- 31:32Speaker 1: that I've really seen in a long long time that
- 31:35Speaker 1: it's actually lived up to the hype. I mean, this
- 31:39Speaker 1: movie really lived up to the hype. I didn't know
- 31:41Speaker 1: what to expect. But you know, sometimes when you hype
- 31:45Speaker 1: a movie up so big, it's a letdown. It's a letdown.
- 31:49Speaker 1: But this movie it lived. Yeah, they really did they.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I was not disappointed. I was not disappointed. No, it
- 31:56Speaker 1: was the best movie ever smashing records and you know whatever.
- 32:03Speaker 1: It was great for kids, adults and across the board.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It was. It was fantastic. I took my Jordan the
- 32:12Speaker 1: yes he did, Yes he did, Yes he did, Yes
- 32:16Speaker 1: was a villain you hear me, Yeah, like that. And
- 32:19Speaker 1: then a lot of people, you know, we're saying, well,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you know, chatting because you know, my man is Chadwick Boseman,
- 32:24Speaker 1: because I think he's just so extraordinarily talented. But you know,
- 32:28Speaker 1: he was king, he knew who he knew who he was.
- 32:31Speaker 1: He didn't do that, yeah, yes, yes he did. And
- 32:35Speaker 1: the ladies, Tommy, come on, Angela Bassett was a true queen,
- 32:40Speaker 1: a true queen Laengo. Yes. And the Nigeria. Oh that
- 32:47Speaker 1: girl right there was a warrior. That's the one from
- 32:50Speaker 1: Walking Dead. Oh my goodness, well, my security. I would
- 32:57Speaker 1: like that if I could just that's what's going to
- 32:59Speaker 1: happen now out just with that spear and that outfit.
- 33:02Speaker 1: What about they were so technologically advanced. I knew nothing
- 33:10Speaker 1: about Black Panther until this movie, until the hype above
- 33:14Speaker 1: this movie coming out, and I've seen the Avengers movie,
- 33:17Speaker 1: the Marvel Yeah, I didn't know, but my daughter, I
- 33:20Speaker 1: took my daughter, Oh my gosh, she loved it so much.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Her favorite character was the sister who was everything. She
- 33:32Speaker 1: was just so smart. Yeah. I think it's Letitia, Leticia, right,
- 33:36Speaker 1: I think that's her name. Okay, okay, alright, and we
- 33:39Speaker 1: gotta give it up to Ryan Coogler, who wrote the
- 33:44Speaker 1: movie directed and he you know that Michael B. Jordan's
- 33:47Speaker 1: his boy, you know, so yeah, what a great He's
- 33:50Speaker 1: so young and so talented too. So Forest Whittaker, Uh
- 33:54Speaker 1: Sterlings came down. Yeah, they brought it to They really
- 33:58Speaker 1: really did. All right, Steve, I know we've talked enough
- 34:00Speaker 1: about Black Panther. I'm sure right, I'm sure miss Anne
- 34:08Speaker 1: has more? Is there? Introduced, folks, without further ado, our
- 34:12Speaker 1: voice of authority, the lovely miss Anne Trip. Thanks Steve.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. This is an twerp with the news,
- 34:19Speaker 1: and here we go. It's not so lovely the news.
- 34:22Speaker 1: The President Trump scheduled to hold what's being described as
- 34:24Speaker 1: a listening session with high school students on Wednesday. In
- 34:27Speaker 1: the wake of last week's horrific schools shootings in Florida.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Young people like survivor Cameron Caski are joining gun control
- 34:34Speaker 1: activists and some lawmakers and calling for change and quick.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Any politician on either side who's taking money from the
- 34:41Speaker 1: n r A is responsible for events like this, and
- 34:45Speaker 1: one of the things we're trying to do here is
- 34:47Speaker 1: give everybody a clean slate and create a new normal
- 34:51Speaker 1: where there's a badge of shame on any politician who's
- 34:53Speaker 1: expecting who's accepting money from the n r A and caermen. Caski,
- 34:57Speaker 1: appearing on ABC's This Week, says that a march on
- 34:59Speaker 1: Washington over the issue was being planned for next month.
- 35:01Speaker 1: It's going to either be called a March for Our
- 35:03Speaker 1: Lives or a million kid march. Special Counsel Robert Muller,
- 35:07Speaker 1: who have they've been talking about just a few minutes ago,
- 35:08Speaker 1: has been looking into alleged foreign meddling in the last
- 35:11Speaker 1: presidential election. He's charged more than a desion dozen Russian
- 35:14Speaker 1: nationals with conspiracy. Rob roden Sign says the Russians are
- 35:18Speaker 1: accused of tampering with the US election process in order
- 35:21Speaker 1: to undermine confidence in our democracy. Defence allegedly conducted what
- 35:25Speaker 1: they called information warfare against the United States. The Russian
- 35:29Speaker 1: conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and
- 35:33Speaker 1: undermine public confidence in democracy. The nature of the scheme
- 35:36Speaker 1: was that the defendants took extraordinary steps to make an
- 35:39Speaker 1: appear that they were ordinary American political activists. According to
- 35:43Speaker 1: the indictment, thirteen Russian nationals three Russian companies made up
- 35:46Speaker 1: hundreds of fake social media profiles attacking Hillary Clinton and
- 35:49Speaker 1: supporting Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. They say that the
- 35:52Speaker 1: Russians also discouraged black voting, posting messages from a fake
- 35:55Speaker 1: group called Woke Blacks saying things like we cannot resort
- 35:59Speaker 1: to the lesser of two evils, so we surely better
- 36:02Speaker 1: off not voting at all. There's no allegation thus far
- 36:04Speaker 1: than anyone in the Trump campaign was knowingly involved. At
- 36:07Speaker 1: the Olympics, several Russian athletes have already been banned before
- 36:10Speaker 1: the game's illegal doping. Now another competitor from the Soviet Union,
- 36:14Speaker 1: one of them who want to metal, risk punishment after
- 36:16Speaker 1: poorly testing positive for a banned substance. No real surprise
- 36:20Speaker 1: stops at the box office this weekend Black Panther, bringing
- 36:22Speaker 1: a whopping one ninety two million bucks and only three days.
- 36:25Speaker 1: The four day total will be in tomorrow me While
- 36:28Speaker 1: racists get this have been smearing the movie online. People
- 36:31Speaker 1: who obviously hate the idea of a black superhero movie
- 36:33Speaker 1: have been putting up generic pictures bruised or bloody white
- 36:37Speaker 1: women and claiming that they've been victims of racially motivated
- 36:40Speaker 1: attacks at black panther screenings. One picture actually of a
- 36:43Speaker 1: nineteen year old woman who's in Sweden, not here. Another
- 36:46Speaker 1: is a picture one of the x wives of a
- 36:48Speaker 1: now former member of the Trump administration. And some other
- 36:51Speaker 1: racist sickos are claiming that white people wearing masks, uh
- 36:55Speaker 1: make a great great American mass have been attacking black
- 36:58Speaker 1: theater goers and that is a lie. To Steve Harvey
- 37:01Speaker 1: Morning Show back at twenty minutes after the hour with
- 37:03Speaker 1: trending topics, You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And let me ask you, what do you think of
- 37:09Speaker 1: the NBA All Star Game? Okay, so Fergie last night

- 37:17Speaker 1: is not having a sexy version of the national anthem.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Wait what about that, Fergie? What what hit didn't say?
- 37:33Speaker 1: Does dance star spangled? Well, we won't even say it

- 39:38Speaker 1: to see it. Yeah, you're right, you have this. You
- 39:41Speaker 1: never Okay, Carl Lewis singing the national anthem. I remember
- 39:46Speaker 1: Whitney Houston starts this is not the same. No, you

- 54:46Speaker 1: an excellent excellent movie? Though, but shouts out, I mean
- 54:50Speaker 1: to Ryan Coogler. We really have to keep saying that
- 54:54Speaker 1: because he was a director, he wrote the movie. And
- 54:56Speaker 1: there were such so many messages in the movie too,
- 54:59Speaker 1: I mean, so many subtle messages. You know, uh in
- 55:03Speaker 1: the movie? Huh? Did you'll wait to the end? Yeah? Yeah,
- 55:09Speaker 1: how I just waited to the end? Yeah, and you
- 55:12Speaker 1: saw what what did you see? At the end? I
- 55:14Speaker 1: saw them as the United Nations Nations? Very spoiler alert,
- 55:17Speaker 1: spoiler alert. If you haven't seen you haven't seen it,
- 55:20Speaker 1: wait till if you haven't seen it, wait till the end.
- 55:22Speaker 1: But but what was your end? Let me hear there
- 55:25Speaker 1: were the United Nations and one of the uh dignitaries
- 55:29Speaker 1: there the officials call them farmers. That's the part I
- 55:32Speaker 1: saw he called me too. I saw that. That's where
- 55:35Speaker 1: he gave his speech, right when king to Tala and
- 55:38Speaker 1: uh Lepida and the young and the other two ladies. Yeah,
- 55:43Speaker 1: the world. Okay, So so another spoiler alert, there's another end.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I knew it. What was it? And how did you
- 55:57Speaker 1: find out? Because okay, because somebody did have don't waited
- 56:01Speaker 1: the end? Okay? So I waited and then I saw,
- 56:03Speaker 1: you know, I saw the part you're talking about the
- 56:05Speaker 1: United Nations, and then all was and then I said, well,
- 56:08Speaker 1: this ain't the end. So I waited some more, and
- 56:11Speaker 1: they ran some more credits, and then at the end
- 56:14Speaker 1: as a whole, another scene and I'm not gonna tell
- 56:18Speaker 1: you what it is. You got to go back again.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I'm going back anyway. But right, oh man, all right,

- 56:28Speaker 1: lights come up? How about that black bath, the baby whatever,
- 56:32Speaker 1: Wakinda forever the United has no flights to Wakinda. Listen,
- 56:38Speaker 1: bu bugging up a long time. We got to play
- 56:43Speaker 1: you here it is strawberry. Okay, time for the strawberry started.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Be quiet, Steve subject caught up in lies. Good morning everyone,
- 56:51Speaker 1: I really enjoy listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 56:54Speaker 1: My problem is this. The other day, while in my
- 56:57Speaker 1: bedroom changing my three month old daughter's diaper, my husband's
- 57:01Speaker 1: cell phone had rang twice. He was sleeping so hard
- 57:04Speaker 1: he didn't even budge to even answer it. As I
- 57:08Speaker 1: went to answer it, I decided to go check it
- 57:10Speaker 1: out and what's going on in his Go check it
- 57:14Speaker 1: out and what's going on in his daily activity. He
- 57:16Speaker 1: claims that all the female numbers that's in his phone
- 57:20Speaker 1: are coworkers. Well, anyway, I went through his phone and
- 57:24Speaker 1: found a text message to a coworker that he claims
- 57:26Speaker 1: he didn't even like. My question is this, If you
- 57:30Speaker 1: don't like her, why do you have her number. He
- 57:32Speaker 1: can't give me a straight answer. He told this female
- 57:35Speaker 1: at seven forty nine in the morning how good she
- 57:38Speaker 1: was looking to him. He don't even compliment me like that,
- 57:41Speaker 1: And we've been together for seventeen years. I don't have
- 57:44Speaker 1: to get I have to get compliments from other guys
- 57:47Speaker 1: out in the streets. Then, when I went through his
- 57:50Speaker 1: picture message and he has pictures of different women in
- 57:53Speaker 1: his phone naked. When I asked him about it, he
- 57:55Speaker 1: tells me that his boy sent the pictures to him.
- 57:59Speaker 1: We had a he to argument because he went out
- 58:01Speaker 1: Saturday night and I had text him telling him to
- 58:03Speaker 1: open a jar of pickles for his children. When he
- 58:06Speaker 1: got home, he text me back saying whatever. Then he
- 58:09Speaker 1: comes home with a raging attitude, telling me that I
- 58:12Speaker 1: ruined his night with his supposes, with his supposed to
- 58:17Speaker 1: be friends. I told him that it wasn't that serious.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I had confronted him with all the evidence that I
- 58:22Speaker 1: had collected on him and asked him why he's so
- 58:26Speaker 1: secretive by putting a lock on his phone. His response was,
- 58:30Speaker 1: he don't. He doesn't like me looking at his phone.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I tell him that he acts like he's got something high.
- 58:35Speaker 1: He replies that he's not cheating if I was accusing
- 58:38Speaker 1: him of it. My thing is this, If he's not cheating,
- 58:41Speaker 1: why lock his phone? Why have dirty pictures of women
- 58:43Speaker 1: on his phone? Why lie when he gets caught up?
- 58:46Speaker 1: And why the attitude when I asked him to open
- 58:49Speaker 1: a pickle jar? My question to you guys, is am
- 58:52Speaker 1: I wrong for doing this? Okay? This is a crazy letter?
- 58:56Speaker 1: Uh my sister, yeah, this is really crazy. Uh you
- 59:02Speaker 1: know all this stuff? Okay? Uh? Where there's smoke, there's
- 59:07Speaker 1: usually fire, you know. Um, you guys have been together
- 59:10Speaker 1: seventeen years, you have a three month old baby. I
- 59:12Speaker 1: say that both of you were wrong for this one.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Him for lying and possibly probably out of no cheating,
- 59:17Speaker 1: You for snooping, being a detective and finding what you
- 59:22Speaker 1: didn't want to see. You knew what you were doing
- 59:23Speaker 1: when you answered his phone while he was sleeping. And again,
- 59:26Speaker 1: him for just being stupid. Why does he have naked
- 59:29Speaker 1: pictures of women on his phone? Oh? Yeah, that's right.
- 59:32Speaker 1: His boy sent him to him, that's right. Uh. I
- 59:35Speaker 1: don't get the I don't get the whole pickle jar thing.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I really don't get the connection there. I don't get it.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It sounds like he's just mad at you because you
- 59:45Speaker 1: went through his stuff and you busted him. Um. You know,
- 59:48Speaker 1: in a marriage, ideally you're supposed to have trust, you know,
- 59:52Speaker 1: so there would be no need to invade his privacy.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I understand that it doesn't always happen that way. Um,
- 59:58Speaker 1: you know the line needs to stop. The naked pictures
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: just stop? Okay? Uh so you know, are you wrong again?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I say the both of you are wrong on this one. Steve, Okay, Well,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I got time to go on and get started. You're
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: so welcome. You know this letter right a hill is
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to me full of codes. There's a lot of codes
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: in here. Seven forty nine in the morning, three months
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: old daughter changing her dip in the bedroom. Some of
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: this information. Asked him to open the jaw pickles for
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: his children when he got home. Why's he got a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: lock on his phone? Who is the naked women in
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: the phone? Right? He can't give me a straight answer?
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: The whole letter crook, It ain't straight up. Let me
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: gonna break this down for y'all. He was sleeping so
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: hard he didn't even budge to answer his phone. It
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: ring twice as I went to answer it. I decided
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to go check it out. And what's going on in
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: his daily activity? So not right here? Let's let's just
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: deal with this. The man sleep, the phone ring through
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the ringing phone all. Let's happened. I'm gonna go answer it,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: but I decided on my way to answer it, I'm
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: not gonna check out his daily activity. So now you're
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: off in the phone exploring. But I thought he had
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: a lock on it. How did you get in the phone?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Do you know the code? Do you work in it? Well,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: how much free time you got on your hand? When
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I come back, you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm gonna, oh, dog,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: this is crazy and not just and I'm old crack off.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: So I figured out what they mean. I'll be right back.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: We're some more unveiling of the letter. All right, you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: hurt Steve. Well, we'll have part two of his response
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three after the hour. You're listening
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: let's get to it. Come on, read it for you quickly,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and then the cold cracker gonna just gonna break it down.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Come on, Good morning. Ever caught up in lives? Good morning?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Everyone really enjoyed listening to Steve. I've showing my problem
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: is this. The other day, while in my bedroom changing
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: my three month old daughter, diping my husband's cell phone
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: rain twice. He was sleeping so hard he didn't even
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: bunge answering it. As I went to answer that, I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: decided to go check out and see what's going on
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: his daily activity code. He claims that all his female
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: numbers in his phones are co workers code. Well, anyway,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I went through his phone and found a text message
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to a co worker that he claimed he don't even
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: like Code. Alright. My question is this, if you don't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: like her, then why do you have a number. He
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: ain't give me a straight answer. He told this female
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: at seven forty nine in the morning how good she
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: was looking to him. He don't even complimentary me like that.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: And we've been together for sevetheen years. Code. I had
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to text him telling him to open the jab pickles
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: for his children when he got home, because he text
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: me back saying whatever. Then when he came on with
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: a raging attitude, telling me I ruined this night, I
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: told him that it wasn't that serious. I had confronted
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: him with all the evidence that I had collected on him,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and that's and asked him why he is so secretive
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: about putting a lock on his phone. Code. His response
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: was he don't like me looking in his phone. I
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: tell him that he acts like he got something to high.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: He replied that he's not cheating. If I was accusing
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: him of it. My thing is this, if he's not cheating,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: why locked his phone? My question, you, guys, am I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: wrong for doing this? Well? First of all, yeah, you
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: are wrong for doing it. But since you haven't done
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: it now he was with lady. Let's just gonna get
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to this hill. Something wrong with y'all marriage, Something seriously
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: wrong with y'all's marriage. The dude ain't always to blame, now,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I know right away. You're looking at them. Man, she eating,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: He got all these pictures, he got all easer. Well,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: it's a lot of codes in this letter. Let you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: know why. Maybe the pictures is in there. Maybe why
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: are you tenching him asking for the pickles and all
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: this his stuff late at night when he out with
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: his friends. Maybe it's a reason for all this here too.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Maybe it's a reason why you originally changing the three
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: month old doctor, that you even went to his phone
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to check out his daily activity. Anyway, maybe that's a
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: reason why he got this co worker's number in the phone,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: that he claimed that he don't even like her. All
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: these is codes that something is wrong in your relationship,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: especially at seven forty nine in the morning, he's text
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: messaging the woman tells her how good she looked to him,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: and she he don't even compliment her, and they've been
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: married seventeen years. Cold breaker is fitting to break all
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: these codes. For year. Let's check out what's going on
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: his daily activity. Cold meaning I am suspicious about something
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: my husband has been doing. Since I'm out of shape
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: after having this baby for three months, ain't no loving
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: going down? Like and usaid, let me see what's really
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: going on, cause you ain't loving me? So who you loving? Right?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Cold cracker in action. I found the text message of
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: a coworker. He claimed he didn't even like her. Cold
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Cracker say he don't like her, he loved hu? Whoa
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: come on? He feel huh? He got to have hu?
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Cold cracker cracking these cold since you ain't like you
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: don't know what's happening At seven forty nine in the morning,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: he telling her, I got to say that when that's
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: my best one. I went through his picture message and
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: he had pictures of different women in his phone naked.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: When I asked him, he tells me that his boys
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: send the pictures of however the hell they got, why
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: did you keeping them? For? Cold Cracker say you want
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to look at somebody look nice? Neck it to him
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: because you don't fit the bill. No more cold cracker cracking,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: cold cracking cracking. Let's crack another one. Let's say that one.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Why is he so secret to putting the lock on
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: his phone. You ain't got to be a cold cracker,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: nothing to figure that out. He don't want your ass
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: in the phone, right because it's something going on in
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the telephone. Come on, so now here we go to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: the big one. At seven forty nine in the morning,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: he's how good she was looking at him? He didn't
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: even compliment me like that. More. We've been together seventeen years.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: At seven forty nine in the moaning already he just
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: left the house and to found somebody looked better than you.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Maybe after seventeen years, you ain't what you was. Maybe
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: you don't even care how you look no more. Maybe
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: you're just settle into that routine that some women get into.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I got him now, But she remember old song that
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: used to say the same thing. It too to get
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: your baby's hook. Come on, it's gonna take the same
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: thing to keep up now. You ain't doing the tricks,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: no mo You ain't got no lingerie no more. You
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: don't wear thongs to be no more. You wear you
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: loop panties all the time. Cold cracker, cracking cold, you're

- 1:24:16Speaker 1: your boy Donovan Mitchell he was the winner and he
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: beat Larry Nance Jr. I love when Donovan Mitchell. He

- 1:24:29Speaker 1: for Utah Jazz. Oh okay, I'm like, who are these people?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I thought we were talking about the All Star Game.

- 1:24:43Speaker 1: judged by DJ Kalett, Chris Rock, dr J and Lisa
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Leslie and Mark Walberg. So it was cool, It was cool.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: That was really hard huh right? Right? His normals were
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: always a little lord than everybody else. Did you see that, Tommy? Yeah?
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Did you see Kevin Hard? Did you see when Donovan
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: jumped over Kevin Hard and his son and I think
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: that was his sister. But everybody kept saying, well, he
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: didn't really have to duct that low for Kevin. But
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: you know what, guys, People say that the NBA that
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: it's boring. They say that it's all star. Yeah yeah,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I mean the game last night. Well, yeah, you don't like,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: you don't get your stars duncan normal. You want to
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: see the stars, but that's not what you're going to get.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: But then I heard that it's built to be boring.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: They wanted to be boring. Why why? Yeah? Well I
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: guess soon what the players they place on a safe way.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: They don't want to get hurt. Yeah, I think that's
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: what it is. Just a show. It's just a show
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: that they kind of put out. But what about Bergie
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: last night singing the national anthem for me? Sexy with
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: it though Fergie, though, say just that star spa Marie, Well,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: we won't even say it was singing, uh the national an?
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Oh see can you see Domino? Domino was so proudly
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: wee flow and the bikes was and my father wasn't
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: that Mama change the color and to do the nighte
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: that my bike? Steep b oh do not sack pounkay apple?
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: So few week creed, Thank you boy, no more the day.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. President's Day? Everybody?
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: All right? Steve, well speaking of presidents on this President Day,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: you guys hear about this. This was an extraordinary indictment.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: The U S Special Counsel has accused thirteen Russians of
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: an elaborate plot to disrupt the two thousand sixteen presidential election.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: What they did is anyone's surprised here any wait wait
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait wait? Is pot is putin in
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: that they didn't say? You know, they would have said
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: if he around around, pulling around in the number. Okay,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: here's what they've been charged with, running a huge but
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: hidden social media trolling campaign. We know about those trolls
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: aimed in part at helping Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: All right, so there there you go, there you go.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: All right there there obviously was some collusion. Yeah, day yeah,
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: he do unite It or Delta fly to Wakonda. Yes, baby,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Wakonda forever. I'm trying to get a one way ticket yet.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: Coming back. What an outstanding movie, Black Panther, and the
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: first movie that I've really seen in a long long
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: time that it's actually lived up to the hype. I mean,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: this movie really lived up to the hype. I didn't
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: know what to expect. But you know, sometimes when you
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: hype a movie up so big, it's a letdown. It's
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: a letdown. But this movie it lived. Yeah, they really did. They.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: I was not disappointed. I was not disappointed. No, it
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: was the best movie ever smashing records and ever. It
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: was great for kids, adults, and across the board. It was.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: It was fantastic. I took my Jordan's yes he did, yes,
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: he did, Yes, he did yes. Yeah, And then a
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: lot of people. You know, we're saying, well, you know,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: chatting because you know, my man is Chadwick Boseman, because
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I think he's just so extraordinarily talented. But you know,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: he was king. He knew who he knew who he was?
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: He didn't yeah, yes, yes he did. And the ladies, Tommy,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: come on. Angela Bassett was a true queen, a true
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: queen Laengo. Yes. And the Nigeria. Oh that girl right there,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: that's the one from Walking Dead. Oh my goodness. If
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: I like for my security, I would like that if
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: I could just that's what's going to happen, not just
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: with that spear and that outfit. What the cold? When
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: I walked into comedy club with her? What are you
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: talking about? They were so technologically advanced. I knew nothing
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: about Black Panther until this movie, until the hype above
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: this movie coming out, and I've seen the Avengers movie Marvel. Yeah,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I didn't know, but my daughter. I took my daughter.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, he loved it so much. Her favorite
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: character was the sister who was everything. She was just
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: st Yeah. I think it's Letitia, Leticia, right, I think
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: that's her name. Okay, okay, all right, and we gotta
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: give it up to Ryan Coogler who wrote the movie
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: directed and he you know that Michael B. Jordan is
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: his boy, you know. So yeah, what a great He's
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: so young and so talented too. So for as Whittaker,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: uh sterling. Yeah, they brought it to they really really did.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show. Steve here we are,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: end of the show. Um, with just one more thing.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: You're closing remarks today. I want to still stay on
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: the encouraging tip and I want to talk to people
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: about something that you should make in two thousand and eighteen.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: These are just suggestions, folks. You know, I don't know everything,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: but these are some things that I do to personally
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: keep myself moving forward in a positive direction because I'm
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: always trying to accomplish something new. You know, I'm never satisfied. Well,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: it's not that I'm never satisfied. I'm never complacent. I
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: don't I don't believe in sitting still. I don't believe
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: in and not moving forward. I just don't see it.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: You know. Every day I try to wake up and
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: an approach and attack a new challenge. I've always setting
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: goals out there because it just gives you something to
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: aim for throughout the day. Uh one are the things
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: I want to remind people of something that I do
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: and up you you're invited to do the same. Is
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: you know, have a life feel with a mission, have
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: a life field with a mission. You canna have several
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: missions in life. Forget your life filed with missions. Remember
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: the show Mission Impossible, and remember that tape record one
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: and that used to come on every day and tell
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: the guy what to do and then at the end
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: of it to tape with self destruct. But that became
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: the mission. It became the purpose, the task at hand,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: and until you completed that task, you came back in.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: And that's what the whole show is. As really funny thing,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: you know, it's tape recording comes on and in it
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: fears is and disintegrates, and that's your mission. I still
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: do that, man, it's sort of a funny analogy. But
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: I try to create a mission in my life all
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: the time. And in order to accomplish your mission, one
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: of the things you have to do is you have
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to surround yourself with people who are about the same mission.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: There will be no missions accomplished in life solely by yourself.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I don't I can't think of anything that you can
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: accomplish solely by yourself. You know, even if you want
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: to have a relationship with God. You can have relationship
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: with God, but to draw closer, you know, you gotta
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: have some type of tools. You know, you gotta read
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: some scriptures. Somebody's gotta show you another way to approach it.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: Somebody go, Man, if you're going through this, read this
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: or read that, and it sort of helps you with
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: your goal. Leaven in that. But I don't know anything
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: that you can accomplish mission wise alone. So you need
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: to surround yourself who with people who are like minded.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: As a motivational speaker, sometimes when I'm going I use
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: my motivational pictures that I keep in my phone and
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I put them up on the big screen and I
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: showed them to people. And one of my favorite pictures
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: is a picture of these lions walking and the expression
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: on the lions face because they've they've they've woken up
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: from their nap and they're going out for the hunt.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: And if you look at lions when they're walking to
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: go out on a hunt, they all have that same
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: determined look on their face because they all out the
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: same mission. You ever noticed when lions ready to go
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: out on the hunt, they leave the cubs back at
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: the den because, see, it ain't no time to play
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: out here, because we're going out here to feed, We're
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: going out here to hunt. So they leave the cubs
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: back in the den when they go out on the
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: hunt because they ain't got no time for no foolishness.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: And I have this picture in my phone of these
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: lions just striding and if you look at all the
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: looks on their face, they're serious. It ain't no playtime
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: because everybody is on the same mission. Everybody is of
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: the like mindedness that it takes to accomplish the mission.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: And the capture says, surround yourself with people who are
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: on the same mission. And I'm saying that to you today.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: Find someone who is about the business just like you are.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Start hanging out with people who goal oriented, who are
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: success minded. Somebody was talking to somebody one time and
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: they said, man, Steve, let me ask you something. Why
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: rich people are always talking about money. That would get
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: on my nerves. Okay, what else you want to talk about?
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: You want to talk about what happened on the Real
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Housewives what you want to talk about. Who's going on
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: in the theaters today? We can talk about that. But
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: when I get together with my friends, we get together
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: were on a mission. I even play golf with people
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: who are on the same mission as me, you know,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: we because we have like mindedness. I don't play golf
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: with a bunch of single friends because see, now, when
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: we're not playing golf, we're not gonna be on the
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: single man. I need people just want to go play golf.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Go to the clubhouse, have a cigar, get yourself a drink,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: get yourself somebody and go and go to your room
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: because we gotta get up early to morning play this
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: tournament game. We got going again. That's just it. Even
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: when I play, I play with people of like mindedness.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I don't play with people that's that's doing something else
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: because I don't need the distraction. It's very important that
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: you surround yourself with like minded people. Find them somewhere. See.
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: It goes along with an old saying, you've all heard this.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: If you're the smartest person in your group, then you
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: need a new group. You got You can't be the
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: smartest person in your group, man, you gotta have somebody
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: that knows a little bit more about the journey or
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: is familiar with a certain thing that's gonna happen on
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: the journey, where they can give you a suggestion when
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: you get to that point. Everybody ain't got to be
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: good at everything. Sometimes you have specialty people. It's like
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: you know, when you're assembling your team. All of your
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: friends ain't the same. Some of your friends you don't
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: have spiritual messages for you. Some of them just have uplifts,
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: some of them just cool to be around. Some of
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: them do the same things you do. But surround yourself
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: with people who are on the same mission. It will
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: make your journey to the top a lot smooth. It
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: won't make it easy. Uh, y'all have a great weekend
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: you already now already already waiting on it. For all
