• 1:44
Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: Come come on your uh huh I show will a
• 2:04
Speaker 1: good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on
• 2:07
Speaker 1: dig me now one It only Steve Harvey oh Man
• 2:10
Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man got a radio show and
• 2:14
Speaker 1: a whole lot mold too, man. God is good to me.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
• 2:21
Speaker 1: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
• 2:24
Speaker 1: thing called life, except if it was not for the
• 2:28
Speaker 1: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
• 2:31
Speaker 1: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
• 2:35
Speaker 1: the way that I do. I would not be who
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: I am or where I am. I am who I
• 2:41
Speaker 1: am and where I am simply because God is who
• 2:46
Speaker 1: he is. If it was not for God, I would
• 2:50
Speaker 1: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
• 2:54
Speaker 1: every single test, plain, pure and simple. I can sit
• 3:00
Speaker 1: here today and til you flat out that it is
• 3:04
Speaker 1: purely because of God's grace and mercy that I exist
• 3:09
Speaker 1: today because of His favor. See now He shows us
• 3:13
Speaker 1: favor in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: And this is not the whole answer to life. I
• 3:22
Speaker 1: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
• 3:25
Speaker 1: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
• 3:29
Speaker 1: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life. But
• 3:32
Speaker 1: here it is. If you take faith and you combine
• 3:39
Speaker 1: it with an incredible work ethic, then God has the
• 3:49
Speaker 1: greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best way
• 3:55
Speaker 1: I can explain success to you from my standpoint. It
• 4:00
Speaker 1: is the combination of faith and work that produces the
• 4:05
Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See a
• 4:09
Speaker 1: lot of times we want God to bless us, but
• 4:12
Speaker 1: we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So now
• 4:15
Speaker 1: we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
• 4:18
Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
• 4:22
Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
• 4:26
Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
• 4:29
Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
• 4:32
Speaker 1: good things if you kept that faith intact through it all,
• 4:37
Speaker 1: and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the
• 4:42
Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See, without
• 4:48
Speaker 1: that what you want God to do? See, you can
• 4:51
Speaker 1: have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
• 5:00
Speaker 1: your favor. And you got to do some things man,
• 5:05
Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing, or don't feel like doing,
• 5:09
Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
• 5:12
Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
• 5:15
Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
• 5:19
Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
• 5:22
Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
• 5:26
Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
• 5:28
Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
• 5:31
Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
• 5:34
Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
• 5:38
Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
• 5:41
Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
• 5:46
Speaker 1: faith is. You know you're standing at let me give
• 5:49
Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the cross walk with a
• 5:52
Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: Don't walk then that the signs say walk. What do
• 6:01
Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
• 6:04
Speaker 1: Is well, pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
• 6:09
Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
• 6:12
Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what. You strike out blindly?
• 6:16
Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
• 6:22
Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
• 6:25
Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
• 6:29
Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
• 6:34
Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
• 6:37
Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
• 6:39
Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
• 6:42
Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
• 6:45
Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See that's not
• 6:49
Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
• 6:54
Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
• 6:57
Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See if it's in it,
• 7:01
Speaker 1: it ain't God. You can just clear on up right there.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: You can stop all the wandering. If that's his voice
• 7:07
Speaker 1: talking to you, if it's the right thing to do,
• 7:09
Speaker 1: if it's sin in it, it's not God talking to you,
• 7:15
Speaker 1: kill it. You you you can shut it down. You
• 7:17
Speaker 1: ain't got to wonder about it. Go down there in
• 7:19
Speaker 1: secret venge that ain't God. Go tell him off when
• 7:22
Speaker 1: you see him. That ain't God. Anything that's God's sin
• 7:25
Speaker 1: in it, is not God's voice telling you to do it,
• 7:28
Speaker 1: So you can you can kill that conversation to date.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: That's how you know. But if you align yourself up
• 7:34
Speaker 1: man and you and what you're doing is just and
• 7:37
Speaker 1: right and correct and pleasing in the sight of God,
• 7:41
Speaker 1: it'll pay off for you later on. And see here's
• 7:45
Speaker 1: here's here's the best way I can tell to it.
• 7:48
Speaker 1: Here's another one. When you're going somewhere, when you're when
• 7:53
Speaker 1: you're on the road to going somewhere, and you know
• 7:56
Speaker 1: the somewhere that you're trying to get to. Let's say
• 7:59
Speaker 1: you set a gold or vision for yourself. You know
• 8:01
Speaker 1: where you want to get to. You got a good idea,
• 8:05
Speaker 1: and you own your way to going there. Listen to
• 8:08
Speaker 1: me when it gets hard, and it is going to
• 8:11
Speaker 1: get hard, when it gets difficult, and it is going
• 8:14
Speaker 1: to get difficult when it becomes challenging, and it is
• 8:18
Speaker 1: going to become challenging when it becomes all three of
• 8:22
Speaker 1: those things. When it don't look like it's gonna happen,
• 8:26
Speaker 1: don't stop and complain so much. But see, I know
• 8:30
Speaker 1: he didn't bless me. But in the middle of it, man,
• 8:32
Speaker 1: I felt a little heavy. And you got to be
• 8:35
Speaker 1: careful when it gets hard for you, because you'll find
• 8:37
Speaker 1: yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See, what you can't
• 8:42
Speaker 1: do is you can't complain so much that you forget
• 8:46
Speaker 1: that the place that you're trying to go to you
• 8:49
Speaker 1: actually own your way there still. See, don't get caught
• 8:54
Speaker 1: up into complaining and then lose sight of your blessing
• 8:57
Speaker 1: that's actually happening to you. What really, man, of all
• 9:02
Speaker 1: the times to register a complaint to God, to sit
• 9:05
Speaker 1: up and go, hey, man, I didn't want to wanted
• 9:08
Speaker 1: to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
• 9:11
Speaker 1: you d it's it's a tornado world around you. You You
• 9:14
Speaker 1: ain't got time to ease back in. You got it
• 9:16
Speaker 1: going and jump back in it. It is what it
• 9:18
Speaker 1: is to whom much is given, much is required. Always
• 9:22
Speaker 1: appreciate the blessings, don't get so caught up into complaints
• 9:25
Speaker 1: that you lose sight of the blessings. Man. God got
• 9:27
Speaker 1: a lot for you in your life, man, but you
• 9:29
Speaker 1: gotta have them two things, y'all. You gotta take that faith,
• 9:33
Speaker 1: and you got to apply a crazy work ethic to it.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: And that creates the most opportunities for God to show
• 9:41
Speaker 1: your favor. And when God starts showing your favor, man,
• 9:44
Speaker 1: all of them seeds you plant, all of that, all
• 9:47
Speaker 1: of that wheat you've been sewing, all of that hard
• 9:50
Speaker 1: work you've been put in God to pay it off,
• 9:53
Speaker 1: and he'll pay it off in ways that you don't
• 9:55
Speaker 1: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening to any show,
• 10:16
Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, man, have your attention please today's show
• 10:21
Speaker 1: it's dated. It's dedicated to mountain people, Scoopa divers and archaeologists.
• 10:29
Speaker 1: Mountain people, Scoopa divers and archaeologists. None of them are
• 10:35
Speaker 1: listening right now. We're just trying to draw them in.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: So we're sending out a random dedications to people I
• 10:42
Speaker 1: know ain't listening to the show. My show was worldwide,
• 10:46
Speaker 1: but not underwater. My show was worldwide, but I don't
• 10:49
Speaker 1: like up high places. And my show was worldwide. I
• 10:53
Speaker 1: don't care for people that dig holes, ladies and gentlemen.
• 10:56

• 13:04
Speaker 1: I want to be an NFL running back of what
• 13:06
Speaker 1: I want to be. See that, I can see that.
• 13:09
Speaker 1: I want play. I could see that. Jay, what would
• 13:12
Speaker 1: you be? Video point man? Yes? Long right, Dady old point. Uh,
• 13:20
Speaker 1: here's gonna be a good one. Tim Me what you
• 13:22
Speaker 1: want to be? Chipping Dales? Baby, Chipping Dales were nothing? Yes,
• 13:31
Speaker 1: my singer is looking real good to you right about now,
• 13:33
Speaker 1: isn't it? Uh huh TV job you can you can't?
• 13:39
Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in thirty two after the hour,
• 13:41
Speaker 1: some trending world news people Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
• 13:47
Speaker 1: apologize for wearing brown and blackface on three, count them,
• 13:51
Speaker 1: three separate occasions. Ain't none gonna happen to him? We'll
• 13:55
Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harpy Morning Show.
• 14:15
Speaker 1: All right, guys. In trending world news, Canadian Prime Minister
• 14:18
Speaker 1: Justin Trudeau apologized yesterday afternoon about the controversy over him
• 14:24
Speaker 1: appearing in pictures from years ago dressed in black face
• 14:27
Speaker 1: and brown face. The first picture emerged of Trudeau wearing
• 14:32
Speaker 1: dark makeup and a turban at an Arabian Nights party
• 14:36
Speaker 1: in two thousand and one. Then Time magazine published a
• 14:39
Speaker 1: picture of him wearing a black face from a yearbook
• 14:41
Speaker 1: at a school where he was a teacher, And then
• 14:45
Speaker 1: a video was released of Trudeau wearing an Afro wig
• 14:49
Speaker 1: and singing Day Day by Harry Billefonte. He Trudeau, you
• 14:57
Speaker 1: get a good costume, you go with He up to
• 15:00
Speaker 1: reporters in Winnipeg on Thursday, where he apologized for wearing
• 15:05
Speaker 1: brown face and black face. Take a listen. I want
• 15:09
Speaker 1: to begin by saying a few words directly to racialized
• 15:14
Speaker 1: Canadians who face discrimination every single day in their lives,
• 15:19
Speaker 1: even in the country like Canada. What I did hurt them,
• 15:25
Speaker 1: hurt people who shouldn't have to face intolerance and discrimination
• 15:30
Speaker 1: because of their identity. This is something that I deeply,
• 15:36
Speaker 1: deeply regret. Darkening your face, regardless of the context or
• 15:42
Speaker 1: the circumstances, is always unacceptable because of the racist history
• 15:49
Speaker 1: of black face. I should have understood that then and
• 15:54
Speaker 1: I never should have done it. He's still that dad
• 15:58
Speaker 1: classed a month. They always know what party to wear.
• 16:02
Speaker 1: That them whatever you know, I ain't no man, I
• 16:06
Speaker 1: just whatever. Dog, Yeah, you know this probably ain't nothing
• 16:10
Speaker 1: gonna happen. So I'm gonna step down and even get
• 16:13
Speaker 1: voted out next well when when um, when asked if
• 16:18
Speaker 1: the public can't expect more pictures of him in blackface
• 16:21
Speaker 1: to come out, Trudeau said he just couldn't be sure.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: It couldn't be because that was because that was one
• 16:28
Speaker 1: of my favorite outfits. I can't I would have been
• 16:31
Speaker 1: a party that was one of my favorite I pretty
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: show I had it on. I can't look. I can't
• 16:41
Speaker 1: tell you and tell us damn show had it? Well, No,
• 16:46
Speaker 1: I've had it. Let me think. I want one time
• 16:49
Speaker 1: I went to a banquet I wore that, and then
• 16:54
Speaker 1: I I want one night at a home at a buffet.
• 16:58
Speaker 1: It was a fried chick. I thought that was be
• 17:03
Speaker 1: more inappropriate. And then I just showing tail at just
• 17:07
Speaker 1: kids school that you. I wore showing tail on fourth
• 17:12
Speaker 1: of July one year. He was a teacher. I wanted
• 17:16
Speaker 1: everybody to be free, set me, and so I wore
• 17:19
Speaker 1: an Yeah. He talking about even in a country like Canada,
• 17:24
Speaker 1: man like racism everywhere. Pot it's north of the border,
• 17:29
Speaker 1: south of the border, it's oversee, it's in Europe. Yeah yeah, yeah, man,
• 17:33
Speaker 1: don't what else you got no being here? Well, that
• 17:37
Speaker 1: was his favorite out I wore on Easter. I was
• 17:43
Speaker 1: a chocolate the Easter bunny one year, chocolate, chocolate chocolate.
• 17:51
Speaker 1: It was a chocolate center. Is that true? Yeah, I've
• 17:54
Speaker 1: burned that too. And then I walked in Irish pub
• 17:59
Speaker 1: and came in as the only black leper coup. One
• 18:06
Speaker 1: other time, just one other time. I think that was
• 18:11
Speaker 1: a photo. Not sure if phone cameras was out then
• 18:15
Speaker 1: in eighty four and was no phone cameras, but that
• 18:19
Speaker 1: somebody had a polaroid it was. It was a Satan
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Hawker's dance and I came in at Satan Oh. And
• 18:32
Speaker 1: then I'm gonna apologize for this because I know this
• 18:35
Speaker 1: is coming out. One time I did a poster or
• 18:41
Speaker 1: I was on a pancake box. Yeah, I was hugged.
• 18:49
Speaker 1: I already know that's gonna come out because my wife
• 18:52
Speaker 1: put me in the cost dude. She did to make
• 18:56
Speaker 1: up because I didn't know how to tie the bandadda
• 18:59
Speaker 1: and she did well. And asked a lot of people
• 19:04
Speaker 1: thought I was Tupac. But yeah, a lot of people
• 19:08
Speaker 1: thought I was Tupac. Buts and a wife, all right.
• 19:17
Speaker 1: When they asked him if he'll step aside ahead of
• 19:20
Speaker 1: his re election next month, Trudeau brushed off the question.
• 19:23
Speaker 1: He said, I will continue to do the work that
• 19:25
Speaker 1: is necessary to keep us moving forward in the right way.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: Another reason I'm not dropping out the election is y'all
• 19:35
Speaker 1: need a person that's been black and white understand about that.
• 19:40
Speaker 1: I've had that outfit on enough times. Well, I could
• 19:43
Speaker 1: relate to everybody. Anybody, I'm gonna turn this what's really sad?
• 19:49
Speaker 1: Though he could not just say there's no more pictures,
• 19:54
Speaker 1: that's sad more he everybody has it plat pass and
• 20:03
Speaker 1: I've been a twenty eight Christmas part each time. But
• 20:09
Speaker 1: what about before cell phones? Well, I know I wore
• 20:15
Speaker 1: it six times to do it severs. Where did you
• 20:22
Speaker 1: go as I went? One time? I went at Frederick,
• 20:26
Speaker 1: I knew it. Then another time I went as Hard Tubby.
• 20:31
Speaker 1: Then I went one year at Malcolm Action, then another
• 20:34
Speaker 1: year I went Malcolm. Now, you know, I try to
• 20:37
Speaker 1: put it into it about any means. That's one year
• 20:40
Speaker 1: I went marm Luther King and then the one year
• 20:43
Speaker 1: I just tried to have fun when he didn't actually
• 20:45
Speaker 1: went his moms. Maybe moms, Maybe I can't believe that
• 20:52
Speaker 1: he said that. He can't be that. He's probably saying
• 20:59
Speaker 1: he may as well be honest with it now because
• 21:01
Speaker 1: if they find some at least he'll be in the clear.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: He didn't say there will never be any more pictures.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: Oh you found that? Okay? Oh yeah, yeah, all right,
• 21:20
Speaker 1: all right, guys, coming up next to nephew in the
• 21:22
Speaker 1: building to run that prank back right after this. You're
• 21:26
Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, coming up at the top
• 21:46
Speaker 1: of the hour and entertainment news, and Tonio Brown is
• 21:49
Speaker 1: being dropped by Nike amid those rape allegations, and President
• 21:53
Speaker 1: Trump carries a lot of cash in his back pocket.
• 21:56
Speaker 1: Who know to tip people, to tip people. We'll talk
• 22:00
Speaker 1: about it though at the top of the hour. Right now,
• 22:05
Speaker 1: right now, the nephew in the building, we run that

• 56:03
Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Sexy and simple minded.
• 56:09
Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty nine year old man,
• 56:12
Speaker 1: and three months ago I started dating a gorgeous woman
• 56:16
Speaker 1: in her mid twenties. She has the best body, smooth
• 56:19
Speaker 1: and glowy chocolate skin, the sexiest voice, and she is
• 56:24
Speaker 1: the best that I ever had, if you know what
• 56:27
Speaker 1: I mean. She's very affectionate and she treats me well,
• 56:31
Speaker 1: but she's missing one important thing a brain. I hate
• 56:37
Speaker 1: to say it, but I like her a lot, but
• 56:39
Speaker 1: she's very simple minded. At first, I overlooked it because
• 56:42
Speaker 1: the sex was so good. But now I'm starting to notice.
• 56:46
Speaker 1: When we go shopping, she has trouble doing even the
• 56:49
Speaker 1: most basic math at the cash register. When I give
• 56:52
Speaker 1: her directions to meet me somewhere, she has trouble with
• 56:55
Speaker 1: right turns versus left turns. My sister enjoys talking to her.
• 57:00
Speaker 1: She is so dizzy and it's amusing to her. My
• 57:03
Speaker 1: sister asked my girl if she had any any ambitions,
• 57:07
Speaker 1: and she responded, no, I don't like guns. She had
• 57:16
Speaker 1: any ambitions not ammunition? Yeah, right, not ammunition. Last week,
• 57:21
Speaker 1: I admitted to my girl that I have been having
• 57:23
Speaker 1: second thoughts about our relationship, and within an hour of
• 57:26
Speaker 1: that conversation, she put it down that is in all caps.
• 57:31
Speaker 1: Put it down in all caps in the bedroom, and
• 57:34
Speaker 1: there was no way I was going to leave her.
• 57:36
Speaker 1: After that, I feel stuck. She is beautiful and the
• 57:40
Speaker 1: total package on the outside, but I don't think she
• 57:43
Speaker 1: would ever bring much else to the table. I can't
• 57:46
Speaker 1: imagine her raising kids because she can't even spell basic
• 57:49
Speaker 1: words or use proper punctuation. On the other hand, I've
• 57:53
Speaker 1: never had loving this good. What should I do? Should
• 57:57
Speaker 1: I try to make it work with a great woman
• 57:59
Speaker 1: who's amazing in bed or find a better woman that
• 58:02
Speaker 1: has a little more going for herself. Your advice as
• 58:05
Speaker 1: much is most appreciated. Well, I mean, haven't we all
• 58:10
Speaker 1: had a variation of this issue at some point in time?
• 58:13
Speaker 1: I mean to some degree. You know, we talk to
• 58:15
Speaker 1: our girlfriends. He puts it down in the bedroom, but hey,
• 58:18
  Speaker 1: he's got a tooth missing, or I don't like the
• 58:21
Speaker 1: way he dresses, or he puts it down in the
• 58:23
Speaker 1: bedroom he lives with his MoMA, or he's too cheap,
• 58:28
Speaker 1: or he's too short. Whatever it is. You know, it's
• 58:31
Speaker 1: always something, isn't it. In this instance, you're with a
• 58:35
Speaker 1: woman who's beautiful, the best body, smooth, glowy chocolate skin,
• 58:39
Speaker 1: sexy voice, the best loving you ever had. But she's
• 58:43
Speaker 1: not too bright, you're saying. I think the good news
• 58:46
Speaker 1: is you're young. You don't have to decide right now
• 58:49
Speaker 1: today whether or not to get married and have kids
• 58:52
Speaker 1: and all of that. You're young. I mean, you know,
• 58:55
Speaker 1: you guys could just enjoy each other, have fun right now.
• 58:58
Speaker 1: You don't have to make that heart of a decision,
• 59:02
Speaker 1: even though I know you're thinking of your future. If
• 59:05
Speaker 1: you fall in love with her and can't live without her,
• 59:07
Speaker 1: then you're going to have to discuss her education. You're
• 59:10
Speaker 1: going to have to discuss that. I mean, you know
• 59:12
Speaker 1: she may have a learning disability. You don't know. You
• 59:14
Speaker 1: said she has trouble with left and right, that maybe
• 59:17
Speaker 1: that's something simple that can be fixed. It might just
• 59:20
Speaker 1: discuss her education with her. If you fall in love
• 59:23
Speaker 1: and can't live without her him, I'm hey, did this
• 59:31
Speaker 1: dude twenty nine years old? He needs a real damn
• 59:33
Speaker 1: it body. You ain't got no time to fix nobody
• 59:35
Speaker 1: the same education he says, she's simple man, there's not
• 59:38
Speaker 1: no damn education. Twenty year old man three months ago
• 59:41
Speaker 1: to our dating, this gorgeous won't lord, best body, smooth,
• 59:46
Speaker 1: chocolate skid SEXI voice, best heat ever hanged if you
• 59:51
Speaker 1: know what I mean? We know exactly what you mean. Affectionate,
• 59:56
Speaker 1: treats me well, but she missed one important thing. Listen,
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: it is a brain. What what the brain is missing? Boy?
• 1:00:06
Speaker 1: Listen to me. Come on, I hate to say it
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: because I like her a lot, but she's simple mind.
• 1:00:13
Speaker 1: Let's let's okay, let's stop this simple minded though. Okay,
• 1:00:18

• 1:00:23

• 1:00:30

• 1:00:34

• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: the best body, smooth, she got chocolate skin, she got
• 1:00:50
Speaker 1: the sexiest. Boy. He liked S words, so why stop
• 1:00:54
Speaker 1: as simple minded? Let's use the S word because he
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: liked S word. Sure, she is in the letter, starting
• 1:01:03
Speaker 1: is in the letter smooth skin, sexiest, she's she ain't
• 1:01:10
Speaker 1: got no damn brain. I don't know why we can't
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: tell the truth on this show no more, because political
• 1:01:18
Speaker 1: correctness is killing comedy. But I'm not gonna let Just
• 1:01:22
Speaker 1: like I would never let a woman ruin her life
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: with the wrong man, I'm not fit to let this
• 1:01:27
Speaker 1: young man ruin his life. Now let's just go over

• 1:23:35
Speaker 1: you back as always. Jake feeling good, good, that is good,
• 1:23:39
Speaker 1: all the time, rocking your Cam Newton scar on the
• 1:23:45
Speaker 1: GRAM and never mentioning it once. No, you don't go
• 1:23:50
Speaker 1: to Steve. You can see it right there. All right, Steve,
• 1:23:57
Speaker 1: give us something for the weekend. Baby, Well, you know
• 1:24:00
Speaker 1: I'm gonna do like part two, like I promise from
• 1:24:03
Speaker 1: yesterday I left off, I was talking about how people
• 1:24:07
Speaker 1: sometimes look at other people's lives and the end of it,
• 1:24:10
Speaker 1: I was saying, you know how people try to compare
• 1:24:13
Speaker 1: themselves to others, and you shouldn't do that because you
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: know what's happening to another person's life, it may never
• 1:24:21
Speaker 1: happen in your life. What you think of another person
• 1:24:24
Speaker 1: got undeservedly over you. That's not your call. And I
• 1:24:28
Speaker 1: was saying in closing that favor ain't fair. It's not fair. Favor,
• 1:24:34
Speaker 1: God's favor and grace is not fair. And what I
• 1:24:37
Speaker 1: mean by that is this, if God gave out his
• 1:24:41
Speaker 1: favor and grace to us according to who deserves it,
• 1:24:46
Speaker 1: none of us would get it. Nobody would ever get
• 1:24:51
Speaker 1: his favor and his grace. But he gives it out randomly.
• 1:24:55
Speaker 1: He gives it out, whether you ask for it or not.
• 1:24:58
Speaker 1: It's like, for example, I said, ye today, I hardly
• 1:25:01
Speaker 1: ever go to bed and ask God to wake me
• 1:25:03
Speaker 1: up in the morning. But guess what. He didn't woke
• 1:25:06
Speaker 1: me up for sixty two years, and I don't even
• 1:25:09
Speaker 1: really remember too many times ever saying God, wake me
• 1:25:13
Speaker 1: up in the morning. He just did it. You know
• 1:25:15
Speaker 1: what that was. That was favor, that was grace. And
• 1:25:19
Speaker 1: guess what, he did it without me ask it. So
• 1:25:23
  Speaker 1: that's what I mean when I say favor ain't fair.
• 1:25:26
Speaker 1: He just gives it. And all of us have been
• 1:25:28
Speaker 1: a recipient of his favor and his grace, all of us.
• 1:25:35
Speaker 1: You know what. I've said this on the radio quite
• 1:25:36
Speaker 1: a few times. But justice it's when you get what
• 1:25:39
Speaker 1: you deserve. Mercy's when you don't get what you deserve.
• 1:25:45
Speaker 1: Grace is when you get what you don't deserve. Now,
• 1:25:50
Speaker 1: who in here can say they ain't got nothing they
• 1:25:53
Speaker 1: didn't deserve. Of course you have if you got any
• 1:25:56
Speaker 1: sense in your head and you think about it for
• 1:25:58
Speaker 1: a minute. But that's what I keep talking about, how
• 1:26:01
Speaker 1: important it is to just have a relationship with God.
• 1:26:04
Speaker 1: Where you go to church, ain't none of my business.
• 1:26:06
Speaker 1: What you're calling your Lord and Savior, God, Christ, Jehovah Allah.
• 1:26:12
Speaker 1: That's none of my business. That's your business. That's the
• 1:26:16
Speaker 1: relationship you have with him. All relationships with God is good.
• 1:26:21
Speaker 1: I'm not that God to stand up and say if
• 1:26:24
Speaker 1: you don't believe what I believe, you ain't right, because
• 1:26:27
Speaker 1: who am I to pass that judgment. It's a lot
• 1:26:30
Speaker 1: of Jehovah's witnesses who live great lives, a lot of
• 1:26:33
Speaker 1: Muslims who live great lives. I'm neither one. But I
• 1:26:37
Speaker 1: can respect the person's beliefs. It's not for me. I
• 1:26:41
Speaker 1: choose not to be that person. My job, one of
• 1:26:46
Speaker 1: my reasons is to just get people to have relationship
• 1:26:49
Speaker 1: with God. His an advantage to it. Let me show
• 1:26:52
Speaker 1: this to you, man, when you have relationship with God,
• 1:26:56
Speaker 1: it changes your whole perspective. It really does when you
• 1:26:58
Speaker 1: spend time talking to God, when you just spent Jeff,
• 1:27:01
Speaker 1: you just spent the day saying thank you consciously for
• 1:27:05
Speaker 1: everything you think God has thrown your way. What it
• 1:27:08
Speaker 1: does is it changes your perspective. Because then what happens
• 1:27:12
Speaker 1: is when you show gratitude while other people keep only
• 1:27:16
Speaker 1: seeing what they think is coincidence or what they think
• 1:27:19
Speaker 1: is just natural occurrences, you see miracles. Do you understand
• 1:27:25
Speaker 1: that when other people see what they think are occurrences
• 1:27:28
Speaker 1: or just natural coincidences, you see miracles. You start when
• 1:27:35
Speaker 1: you have relationship with God, you start your day out
• 1:27:39
Speaker 1: in expectation. You start your day out with gratitude, making
• 1:27:43
Speaker 1: you grateful and joyous, and you're waiting to see what
• 1:27:46
Speaker 1: God gonna do today. I wake up to see what
• 1:27:49
Speaker 1: God gonna do today. And when I get bad news,
• 1:27:54
  Speaker 1: it's okay because guess what I know that's a reason
• 1:27:57
Speaker 1: for this bad news, Because behind every moment of adversity
• 1:28:01
Speaker 1: there is a lesson and a blessing and all you
• 1:28:04
Speaker 1: got to do is sit there. Bishop Jakes was on
• 1:28:07
Speaker 1: my should the last day of my talk show, and
• 1:28:09
Speaker 1: you know what he said. He said, pain always leaves
• 1:28:14
Speaker 1: a wonderful present and I sat there her, I said, WHOA.
• 1:28:19
Speaker 1: And when I went home, I thought about it. Pain
• 1:28:23
Speaker 1: always leaves a wonderful present, and so I tried to
• 1:28:27
Speaker 1: test that theory by thinking of all the painful stuff
• 1:28:30
Speaker 1: that's happened in my life. One of my most painful
• 1:28:34
Speaker 1: moments was the loss of my mother. That pain, for me,
• 1:28:41
Speaker 1: was one of the most the most horrific pains of
• 1:28:43
Speaker 1: my life. It left a wonderful present, her memory, all
• 1:28:50
Speaker 1: the things she taught me, the pictures I see of her.
• 1:28:54
Speaker 1: Every time I feel down, I remember something she taught me.
• 1:28:57
Speaker 1: I hear her saying words all the time. Man, the
• 1:29:00
Speaker 1: words my mama say to me are in my heart
• 1:29:03
Speaker 1: ached even harder now that she's gone. She left a
• 1:29:07
Speaker 1: wonderful present. You know what it was. Every time I
• 1:29:12
Speaker 1: get in trouble, I hear her voice. Every time I
• 1:29:15
Speaker 1: need the right answer, I remember a lesson she taught me.
• 1:29:20
Speaker 1: Every time I see her picture, I've now began to
• 1:29:24
Speaker 1: smile and I feel comfortable. When I used to see
• 1:29:26
Speaker 1: her picture, I would break down crying. She's left a
• 1:29:29
Speaker 1: wonderful present. You know what she left me, her memory,
• 1:29:33
Speaker 1: She left me her lessons in life. She left me
• 1:29:35
Speaker 1: all them Sunday school classes. She left me my faith
• 1:29:39
Speaker 1: in God. My mama left me so much. Man, she
• 1:29:42
Speaker 1: left a wonderful present. She caused me to appreciate life
• 1:29:47
Speaker 1: even more. I just that's If you ain't feeling that,
• 1:29:52
  Speaker 1: I'm sorry, That's just how I feel. I just wanted
• 1:29:55
Speaker 1: to share it with you. Behind every pain, pain always
• 1:29:58
Speaker 1: leaves a wonderful present. I have a great weekend. Okay,
• 1:30:01
Speaker 1: I'm out. Hey, talk to God. He love to hear. Friend.
