- 0:01Speaker 1: Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz has announced he is ending his
- 0:05Speaker 1: reelection bid amid the childcare frauds scandal. The governor announcing
- 0:10Speaker 1: he'll not seek reelection, and the accusations and the investigation
- 0:14Speaker 1: tied to that decision clearly a massive political fallout that
- 0:19Speaker 1: even he thought he couldn't overcome. Governor Waltz announcing it
- 0:24Speaker 1: and saying that this was all because of the Republican
- 0:28Speaker 1: Right ring and a conspiracy theory. I'm not joking. But
- 0:33Speaker 1: before we get to that, here is how it was
- 0:35Speaker 1: announced on Fox Business Channel. Minnesota's Governor Tim wals He
- 0:40Speaker 1: has dropped out. He's dropped his bid for reelection. He
- 0:43Speaker 1: will not seek a third term in office.
- 0:46Speaker 2: What did he say?
- 0:47Speaker 3: The multi billion dollar alleged Somali daycare and medicaid fraud
- 0:51Speaker 3: scandal was consuming while's writing this. Every minute I spend
- 0:55Speaker 3: defending my own political interests would be a minute I
- 0:58Speaker 3: can't spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals
- 1:02Speaker 3: who pray on our generosity and the cynics who pray
- 1:05Speaker 3: on our differences. So he has dropped his bid for
- 1:08Speaker 3: a third term, but the fraud could still imperil Senate Democrats.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Senator Tina Smith will not seek reelection in Minnesota, so
- 1:17Speaker 3: that race is open, and Senator Amy Klobachar is viewed
- 1:21Speaker 3: as a top contender for governor to replace Walls.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Now, what's also interesting about this is Governor Waltz announcing
- 1:28Speaker 1: this saying, quote he wants to focus on governance and
- 1:32Speaker 1: not campaigning. He said it's essential. In other words, I'm
- 1:35Speaker 1: the good guy amid the ongoing controversies in the state.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Walt emphasized that leading Minnesota through the quote unquote crisis
- 1:43Speaker 1: that he created of fraud and ensuring his administration's response
- 1:48Speaker 1: deserves full attention from the governor, not divided focus between
- 1:52Speaker 1: governing and campaigning. He also made it clear that this
- 1:56Speaker 1: is really, somehow all the fault of Republican and that
- 2:01Speaker 1: this is what it really came down to.
- 2:04Speaker 4: We've got conspiracy theorists, right wing YouTubers breaking into our daycares,
- 2:09Speaker 4: demanding access to our children. We've got the President of
- 2:14Speaker 4: the United States demonizing our Somali neighbors and wrongfully confiscating
- 2:19Speaker 4: funds that Minnesotans rely on. It's disgusting and it's dangerous.
- 2:25Speaker 1: What's so interesting about what Governor Waltz said, there is
- 2:28Speaker 1: what the real headline should have been. Governor Waltz, almost
- 2:32Speaker 1: the vice President United States of America now dropping out
- 2:35Speaker 1: of the governor's race in Minnesota in disgrace. And why
- 2:39Speaker 1: not because of people trying to break into daycares demanding
- 2:44Speaker 1: access to our children. No all because a brave twenty
- 2:48Speaker 1: three year old kid with an iPhone and a thirst
- 2:52Speaker 1: for justice exposed billions and billions of the governor's fraud.
- 2:58Speaker 1: The work of Nick Shirley hopefully has created a thousand
- 3:01Speaker 1: more Nick Shirley's just like him, who realize that the
- 3:05Speaker 1: government is broken, as well as the media apparatus which
- 3:09Speaker 1: is supposed to hold it accountable. But Governor Waltz wasn't
- 3:13Speaker 1: done there. He also wanted to play the victim card
- 3:16Speaker 1: one more time by saying this, I.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Don't want to mince words here. Donald Trump and his
- 3:22Speaker 4: allies in Washington and in Saint Paul and online want
- 3:25Speaker 4: to make our state a colder, meaner place. They want
- 3:28Speaker 4: to poison our people against each other by attacking our neighbors,
- 3:33Speaker 4: and ultimately, they want to take away much of what
- 3:35Speaker 4: makes Minnesota the best place in the country to raise
- 3:38Speaker 4: a family. They've already begun trying to withhold funds that
- 3:42Speaker 4: were meant to help families afford childcare, and they have
- 3:45Speaker 4: no intention of stopping there. Make no mistake, we should
- 3:50Speaker 4: be concerned about fraud in our state government. We cannot
- 3:54Speaker 4: effectively deliver programs and services if we can't earn the
- 3:57Speaker 4: public's trust.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Public trust us Tim Waltz leaving office because he has
- 4:04Speaker 1: no trust in him from the public and knows he
- 4:07Speaker 1: can't get reelected, yet at the same time saying his
- 4:11Speaker 1: entire administration is about exactly that. He can rewrite history
- 4:15Speaker 1: all he wants, but Tim Waltz will go down in
- 4:17Speaker 1: disgrace as a former vice presidential candidate who just months
- 4:22Speaker 1: later has to suspend his reelection campaign for governor because
- 4:26Speaker 1: of the billions and billions in fraud that were uncovered
- 4:30Speaker 1: under his watch. Which brings us to the final part
- 4:33Speaker 1: of this story, and it deals with the media. The
- 4:36Speaker 1: same media that did not uncover this fraud, that looked
- 4:39Speaker 1: the other way, that had countless whistleblowers that came to them,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and they would do very little stories and then immediately
- 4:46Speaker 1: not dig anymore and move on. Now they're acting like
- 4:50Speaker 1: they want to do their job. I wish I was joking.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Reporters actually got upset, audibly upset with Governor Waltz after
- 5:00Speaker 1: or he left the press conference announcing that he wouldn't
- 5:02Speaker 1: seek reelection without answering any of their questions. The media yelling,
- 5:08Speaker 1: we thought you were going to take our questions. The media,
- 5:11Speaker 1: the same media that covered for Waltz, is now wanting
- 5:14Speaker 1: you to believe that they're trying to get to the
- 5:15Speaker 1: bottom of something that took a twenty something year old
- 5:18Speaker 1: with a cell phone to expose it all. Take a
- 5:21Speaker 1: listen to the self righteous media lying to you on
- 5:25Speaker 1: TV during the breaking news.
- 5:28Speaker 4: I'm proud of the way we treat our neighbors. I'm
- 5:31Speaker 4: proud of the way that we welcome people to this state.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I'm proud of the way that we innovate, and I'm
- 5:36Speaker 4: proud of the way that we are optimists for the future.
- 5:40Speaker 4: No one's taking this away from us, not the fraudsters,
- 5:43Speaker 4: certainly not this president, not on my watch. Tomorrow, I'll
- 5:48Speaker 4: be back with you. I'll give you an update on
- 5:50Speaker 4: America's best paid family medical leap program that is now
- 5:53Speaker 4: a week into it, and at that time, I'll take
- 5:56Speaker 4: all your questions Thank.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You all appreciate it. Thank you.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Why didn't you.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Nill.
- 6:44Speaker 1: You can hear the anger. You can hear them talking.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You can hear them question members of the government there
- 6:50Speaker 1: that worked for Governor Waltz, and they're all upset because
- 6:54Speaker 1: he was supposed to answer their questions. These are the
- 6:57Speaker 1: same reporters, the same ones, the very same ones that
- 7:03Speaker 1: look the other way for years as this fraud was
- 7:06Speaker 1: going on right before them. But now they want separation
- 7:10Speaker 1: from the governor as his ship is going down, and
- 7:13Speaker 1: they want you to believe that they're doing their job,
- 7:16Speaker 1: even though clearly they never were in the first place.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Two thousand federal agents are being deployed to Minneapolis. Yes,
- 7:25Speaker 1: I didn't say Minnesota. I said Minneapolis, as an escalated
- 7:30Speaker 1: immigration push is underway. Here is what we know so far.
- 7:35Speaker 1: The two thousand federal agents being deployed to a city
- 7:38Speaker 1: as part of the Trump administration's latest effort, they say,
- 7:41Speaker 1: to crack down not only on immigration but also on
- 7:45Speaker 1: illegal immigrants that they're committing crimes. City officials, of course,
- 7:49Speaker 1: are angry over this. Why because they've been exposed for
- 7:53Speaker 1: the welf of fraud scandal that has reached a fever
- 7:56Speaker 1: pitch this past week in Minneapolis. Now, in the day
- 8:00Speaker 1: since that conservative content creator, a brilliant twenty something with
- 8:04Speaker 1: a cell phone, took down the governor for his oversight
- 8:08Speaker 1: with the fraud, the creator has raised new allegations of
- 8:12Speaker 1: fraud as well. Of course, the left is saying there's
- 8:16Speaker 1: little evidence. If that was true, then why did the
- 8:19Speaker 1: governor say he wasn't running for reelection. The Somali run
- 8:23Speaker 1: daycare centers in Minneapolis are a problem, and the Trump
- 8:27Speaker 1: administration has also moved forward and has frozen federal childcare
- 8:31Speaker 1: funds and at least more biting rhetoric against the Somali
- 8:35Speaker 1: community for the fraud that they have been doing in Minneapolis.
- 8:40Speaker 1: President Trump not backing down. The President stepping up immigration
- 8:45Speaker 1: enforcement as well, and federal agents have already been on
- 8:48Speaker 1: the ground in Minneapolis, and both Immigration and Customs Enforcement
- 8:52Speaker 1: agents and the US Port Patrol agents are deploying in
- 8:55Speaker 1: record numbers now. Agents in Minneapolis. On Monday they arrested
- 9:00Speaker 1: more than one hundred and fifty people accused of being
- 9:02Speaker 1: in the country illegally, The Department of Homeland Security saiday's
- 9:06Speaker 1: Tuesday's statement. The release highlighted nearly a dozen detainees the
- 9:11Speaker 1: DHS called the worst of the worst, with charges like murder, robbery,
- 9:16Speaker 1: probation violations, drug violations, and again, one of the most
- 9:21Speaker 1: important things is this, they're now no longer terrorizing the
- 9:25Speaker 1: people in Minneapolis. DHS posted an edited video on x
- 9:30Speaker 1: showing the Secretary Christy Nome following armed agents into a
- 9:34Speaker 1: three story building in Saint Paul. Why was it so
- 9:38Speaker 1: important because it was a place where legal immigrants were
- 9:40Speaker 1: committing crimes and running their crimes out of the building.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Secretary Nome and our brave DHS law enforcement have taken
- 9:49Speaker 1: Tomas Tabia off the streets, an Ecuadorian illegal alien convicted
- 9:55Speaker 1: of robbery and wanted for murder and sexual assault. To
- 9:59Speaker 1: the criminals living a mine us, you are not our neighbors,
- 10:02Speaker 1: leave now or we will find you. Of course, they
- 10:06Speaker 1: don't want to tell you that part of the story.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They don't want to tell you it's from Ecuador and
- 10:11Speaker 1: not Haiti, right, because they want this to be some
- 10:13Speaker 1: sort of racial issue. The fact of the matter is
- 10:16Speaker 1: Department of Home and Security doesn't care where you're from
- 10:18Speaker 1: if you're in the country legally and committing Hana's crimes
- 10:21Speaker 1: like robbery, extortion, warrants out for murder and sexual assault. Now,
- 10:25Speaker 1: this is just one individual that was caught because of
- 10:28Speaker 1: the people going in and fighting hard to make sure
- 10:32Speaker 1: that we're all safe. We also know that there are
- 10:35Speaker 1: more ICE raids that are happening right now. Heavily armed
- 10:39Speaker 1: ICE raids on fraudulent scammers happening all over the country
- 10:43Speaker 1: is what ICE and the Department of Homeland Security are
- 10:46Speaker 1: telling us about. Even local news covering the story Fox
- 10:50Speaker 1: five in Minneapolis saying this a major surgeon.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Federal agents are expected here in Minnesota on top of
- 10:56Speaker 5: what we all have already seen in recent weeks, the
- 10:58Speaker 5: Trump administration escal its immigration crackdown in the Twin Cities.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Ox Stein's Marin Glover here now to explain what these
- 11:05Speaker 5: agents will be looking for, Mari.
- 11:07Speaker 2: While the officers and agents started arriving yesterday in the
- 11:10Speaker 2: first major expansion of President Trump's immigration enforcement efforts in
- 11:14Speaker 2: the new year. Since early last month, federal ICE agents
- 11:20Speaker 2: have been in the Twin Cities to crack down on
- 11:23Speaker 2: immigrants who are in the country illegally. Now, a new
- 11:26Speaker 2: wave of federal agents will expand on that work and
- 11:30Speaker 2: help root out fraud. According to reports, the White House
- 11:34Speaker 2: has already started sending an additional fifteen hundred ICE agents
- 11:38Speaker 2: to the Twin cities to track down people who have
- 11:41Speaker 2: deportation orders. On top of that, six hundred agents from
- 11:45Speaker 2: Homeland Security investigations will focus on identifying fraud in the
- 11:50Speaker 2: Somali community. Ali. We've arrived to ABC Learning Center. The
- 11:55Speaker 2: thirty day surge operation comes after a viral video from
- 11:58Speaker 2: right wing influencer Nick sha Surely claimed Somali run daycarers
- 12:02Speaker 2: were receiving federal subsidies but no children were present. The
- 12:06Speaker 2: Minnesota Department of Children, Youth and Families said it conducted
- 12:10Speaker 2: compliance checks at nine of the ten facilities featured in
- 12:14Speaker 2: the video. One facility closed in twenty twenty two, and
- 12:18Speaker 2: investigators said children were present at all the sites except
- 12:21Speaker 2: one that was not open for the day when inspectors arrived.
- 12:24Speaker 1: The mission's going to continue no matter what.
- 12:27Speaker 2: US Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bavino, who has led immigration
- 12:31Speaker 2: roundups in other cities around the country, is expected to
- 12:35Speaker 2: arrive in Minnesota to help with the surge here, along
- 12:38Speaker 2: with a number of Border Patrol agents. Now, the Department
- 12:42Speaker 2: of Homeland Security says it is arrested over a thousand
- 12:45Speaker 2: criminal undocumented immigrants Minnesota in just the last few weeks.
- 12:50Speaker 1: In just the last few weeks, which brings up the question,
- 12:52Speaker 1: why would you not want this type of law enforcement
- 12:55Speaker 1: happening in your city. Well, it's clear Democrats are hope
- 13:00Speaker 1: to import illegal immigrants, even if they are criminals, even
- 13:03Speaker 1: if they're wanted for drug trafficking, sex trafficking, human smuggling,
- 13:08Speaker 1: or murder. They don't care as long as they set
- 13:11Speaker 1: up in a city where liberals can be elected by them.
- 13:15Speaker 1: US Customs and Border Protection commander, whose tactics have come
- 13:19Speaker 1: under quote increased scrutiny in multiple cities, is also expected
- 13:23Speaker 1: to deploy to Minneapolis, showing that we are not afraid
- 13:27Speaker 1: of liberal Democrats. The war that's being waged against Minnesota.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You're seeing it. That is the response from Governor Tim Waltz.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That's what he said at tuesday's news conference. We have
- 13:38Speaker 1: a ridiculous surge of apparently two thousand people not coordinating
- 13:44Speaker 1: with us, that are for a show of the cameras. No,
- 13:48Speaker 1: we're actually arresting the bad guys, Governor, And you would
- 13:51Speaker 1: know this if you actually cared about your citizens instead
- 13:55Speaker 1: of illegal immigrants from Somalia. Uncertainty, of course is House
- 13:59Speaker 1: and puts it as sweeping Minnesota's largest city as the
- 14:03Speaker 1: fraud allegations prompt shakeups in local leadership and a new
- 14:07Speaker 1: ambitious immigration enforcement effort by Donald Trump intimidating, as they described,
- 14:13Speaker 1: with the Somali residence that has emerged. This again another
- 14:17Speaker 1: example of the Left caring more about illegal immigrant criminals
- 14:22Speaker 1: than they actually care about citizens in this country, which
- 14:26Speaker 1: brings me to another story. It's all about following the money,
- 14:30Speaker 1: especially in the Somali community. We're now being told that
- 14:33Speaker 1: Somalia's ambassador to the United Nations is linked to Medicaid fraud,
- 14:40Speaker 1: not in Minnesota, but in Ohio. As this continues to
- 14:45Speaker 1: explode around the country, the permanent representative Somalia to the
- 14:50Speaker 1: United Nations, a man by the name of Ashman, is
- 14:54Speaker 1: linked to a home health care agency in Cincinnati, Ohio
- 14:58Speaker 1: that has been prosecuted for Medicaid fraud. Officials with the
- 15:03Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security and AHHS have now confirmed. This week,
- 15:09Speaker 1: online reports began circulating that Ausman had ties to Progressive
- 15:14Speaker 1: health Care Services. It is a home health care company
- 15:18Speaker 1: plagued by a Medicaid fraud investigation. HHS Deputy Secretary Jim
- 15:24Speaker 1: O'Neil confirmed via x that Osman is in fact linked
- 15:28Speaker 1: to the Progressive health Care Services and that the federal
- 15:32Speaker 1: agency previously took action against the home healthcare company after
- 15:37Speaker 1: a conviction for Medicaid fraud, saying this, I can confirm
- 15:42Speaker 1: public speculation that Ambassador Assman, the permanent representative of Somalia
- 15:48Speaker 1: to the UN and President of the Security Council, is
- 15:52Speaker 1: in fact associated with Progressive health Care Services, a home
- 15:56Speaker 1: healthcare agency in Cincinnati. AHHS is previ taken action against
- 16:01Speaker 1: Progressive in response to a conviction for Medicaid fraud. So
- 16:06Speaker 1: if you think that this is just going to be
- 16:08Speaker 1: an issue in Minnesota, you are wrong. Now. O'Neil's statement
- 16:13Speaker 1: came after the account Libs of TikTok posted several documents
- 16:18Speaker 1: for porting to show Osmond's ties to Progressive Healthcare. What
- 16:22Speaker 1: is amazing about how this story continues to unravel, not
- 16:26Speaker 1: just in Minnesota but now in Ohio another place around
- 16:28Speaker 1: the country is men and women are doing the job
- 16:32Speaker 1: that the journalists of this country are supposed to be doing,
- 16:37Speaker 1: but the journalists are not doing their job. For one
- 16:40Speaker 1: reason their partisan hacks. State sponsored media of the Democratic
- 16:45Speaker 1: Party quote Somalia's ambassador to the UN Osman was a
- 16:50Speaker 1: healthcare administrator in Ohio. There's another healthcare company in the
- 16:55Speaker 1: same suite as his, with a different name, and multiple
- 16:59Speaker 1: others at the same address, all with Somali names. The
- 17:02Speaker 1: account wrote on acts his company was convicted of Medicaid
- 17:06Speaker 1: fraud while he worked in a Medicaid office in Ohio.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The account wrote, Now, why is this Somali ambassador the
- 17:12Speaker 1: UN working in the healthcare system in the US is
- 17:15Speaker 1: another question that many of you should be asking. The
- 17:18Speaker 1: company not only was convicted of Medicaid fraud while he
- 17:21Speaker 1: was working in that Medicaid office in Ohio, but wait,
- 17:24Speaker 1: there's even more. The NPI for Somalia's you an ambassador's
- 17:29Speaker 1: healthcare company is on an exclusion list with the code
- 17:34Speaker 1: one one two eight A one. What does that mean?
- 17:39Speaker 1: It means the company has been convicted of Medicaid and
- 17:43Speaker 1: Medicare crimes. This is who is overseeing security now at
- 17:49Speaker 1: the United Nations. He was also a supervisor, so to
- 17:53Speaker 1: act like he didn't know what was going on or
- 17:54Speaker 1: it was someone underneath him is also a lie. The
- 17:58Speaker 1: post shows a LinkedIn for Ossman where it lists him
- 18:02Speaker 1: as the managing director of Progressive Health Services from October
- 18:06Speaker 1: fourteenth to May of nineteen, around the same time the
- 18:09Speaker 1: company was investigated for Medicaid fraud. Just to give you
- 18:13Speaker 1: more context about the corruption. So the next time the
- 18:16Speaker 1: United Nations starts wagging their finger at the Security Council,
- 18:20Speaker 1: just know it's the same dude that was involved in
- 18:22Speaker 1: healthcare fraud, defrauding Americans in Medicare and Medicaid. And of course,
- 18:28Speaker 1: this story that I'm talking about right now, there's a
- 18:30Speaker 1: very good chance you've heard about it nowhere else at all,
- 18:36Speaker 1: Which brings me to another interesting point that needs to
- 18:39Speaker 1: be made. Waltz dropping out is a very real allegation
- 18:43Speaker 1: of corruption, and it is out of the political arena.
- 18:47Speaker 1: That's at least how one Democrat is describing it. Pau
- 18:51Speaker 1: Bagala on CNN admitting this about the corruption.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Ask you, because I do. You're our Democrat here. And
- 18:58Speaker 6: with the news out of Minnesota, the governor Tim Walls
- 19:00Speaker 6: is dropping out of the governor's race because of a
- 19:03Speaker 6: welfare fraud scandal on his state that is only intensified.
- 19:06Speaker 6: There's been a lot of action there from when Biden's
- 19:09Speaker 6: in office but's still going on. Do you think that
- 19:11Speaker 6: was the right move by Governor Jim Walls.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I do.
- 19:14Speaker 7: I do, because look, third terms never go very well anyway.
- 19:18Speaker 7: And the Democratic Foreign Labor Party there, the DFL, the Democrats,
- 19:22Speaker 7: they have a very strong bench. Amy Klovicharg's very popular senator,
- 19:27Speaker 7: is thinking about running, according to reports. Evan't spoken to her,
- 19:29Speaker 7: but I'm sure she is. Keith Ellison, the attorney general's popular,
- 19:32Speaker 7: Steve Simon, Secretary of State. Meanwhile, the Republicans, oh, my gosh,
- 19:36Speaker 7: they have a pillow fight on their side, right with
- 19:38Speaker 7: the Speaker of the Minnesota ask the my pillow guy
- 19:41Speaker 7: is running. So this is actually good news for the
- 19:44Speaker 7: Democrats because it also takes this very real allegation of
- 19:47Speaker 7: corruption in childcare and it takes it out of the
- 19:50Speaker 7: political arena. Right. Republicans can't make hay off of that.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Believe me.
- 19:54Speaker 7: There's a special place for anybody if they're stealing from children,
- 19:57Speaker 7: vulnerable children, and that place is in prison here and
- 20:00Speaker 7: in hell in the next life. But I don't think
- 20:02Speaker 7: Democrats need to take any lectures about corruption and fraud
- 20:06Speaker 7: from Donald Trump. Oh he settled a twenty.
- 20:09Speaker 1: There we go. There it is the Democratic Party now saying, well,
- 20:12Speaker 1: it's dropping out takes very real allegations of corruption out
- 20:16Speaker 1: of the political arena, so we shouldn't be taking lectures,
- 20:20Speaker 1: as they describe it, from Donald Trump after billions of
- 20:24Speaker 1: dollars have been stolen from the tax payers. Of course,
- 20:28Speaker 1: lowering expectations, Begala said, third terms never work, so that's
- 20:33Speaker 1: another reason why we should just move on from this,
- 20:35Speaker 1: and somehow says this is back to Donald Trump, right,
- 20:38Speaker 1: He's settled to fraud case once in New York City,
- 20:41Speaker 1: so therefore that's what we should really be looking at. Democrats,
- 20:45Speaker 1: he said, don't need to take lectures about corruption or
- 20:49Speaker 1: fraud from Donald Trump. So, in other words, let it
- 20:52Speaker 1: keep happening, and if a Democrat gets caught, fine, what
- 20:56Speaker 1: we'll do is we'll just act like it's really not
- 20:59Speaker 1: a big deal. Which brings me back to the original story.
- 21:03Speaker 1: These federal agents surging in Minneapolis to crack down on
- 21:08Speaker 1: immigration and fraud is exactly what the president should be doing.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Democrats are terrified of two thousand people there doing their jobs.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Of course, Governor Walt saying, well, they're not coordinating with
- 21:21Speaker 1: us you won't know why, because you've declared your sanctuary state.
- 21:25Speaker 1: You've declared that you will not work with ICE. You've
- 21:29Speaker 1: declared that you believe that ICE is an evil group
- 21:33Speaker 1: of people. You've dehumanized them, you've turned them into your
- 21:38Speaker 1: bad guys. And so yes, they're not working with you. Yes,
- 21:42Speaker 1: there's no coordination because you chose to go after ICE
- 21:46Speaker 1: and said the illegal immigrant criminals. And if you look
- 21:50Speaker 1: at who's being taken off the streets, that's what really
- 21:53Speaker 1: this should be all about. There are men and women
- 21:56Speaker 1: committing Hainus crimes, stealing from Americans. We should all be
- 22:01Speaker 1: outraged over that, as Paul Bagawa described it, We should
- 22:04Speaker 1: all be angry, and we should want there to be
- 22:07Speaker 1: more accountability. We also know that Trump is using Minneapolis
- 22:11Speaker 1: to send a message to all the other fraudsters in
- 22:14Speaker 1: the country. The Department of Homeland Security describing what is
- 22:18Speaker 1: happening in Minneapolis this way as the largest immigration enforcement
- 22:22Speaker 1: operation ever aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration and fraud.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Federal officials and DHS also emphasizing the scale and the
- 22:31Speaker 1: intensity of this operation is a major enforcement action. The
- 22:35Speaker 1: surge includes personnel from ICE and Homeland Security investigations, bringing,
- 22:40Speaker 1: they say, broad federal resources to the region where crime
- 22:45Speaker 1: is out of control. DHS highlighting today that some of
- 22:49Speaker 1: the people arrested includes serious offenders ascribed by the Department
- 22:53Speaker 1: as among the worst of the worst, individuals with records
- 22:56Speaker 1: for violent crime like murder and sexual assault of children,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and DHS also launched a worst of the Worst web
- 23:03Speaker 1: page so the public can see the criminal histories and
- 23:06Speaker 1: those arrested nationwide as part of the immigration enforcement, underlying
- 23:12Speaker 1: that many apprehended individuals have violent or dangerous criminal records.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome personally being president in Minneapolis
- 23:22Speaker 1: and accompany the agents during the enforcement actions, showcasing federal
- 23:27Speaker 1: leadership and involvement as well as the commitment to get
- 23:30Speaker 1: rid of this fraud in America, and the reports are
- 23:33Speaker 1: also indicating at this hour that additional federal agents beyond
- 23:38Speaker 1: the original surge are continuing to arrive, meaning the reinforcement
- 23:44Speaker 1: and the ongoing commitment to the enforcement of the law
- 23:47Speaker 1: in the community of Minnesota will not only make the
- 23:49Speaker 1: people safe there, but this is all about getting rid
- 23:53Speaker 1: of what the Democrats set up a safe haven for
- 23:56Speaker 1: billions in fraud. Some Minnesota report. Publicans and supporters of
- 24:01Speaker 1: federal enforcement efforts have also praised the operation, saying that
- 24:06Speaker 1: they're seeing the surge is something that was long overdue
- 24:10Speaker 1: and making the streets safer where they live. So in summary,
- 24:15Speaker 1: the Trump administration's operation in Minneapolis represents a significant federal
- 24:21Speaker 1: law enforcement mobilization we've never seen before, at a level
- 24:25Speaker 1: we've never witnessed before, with a focus on arresting, as
- 24:29Speaker 1: the White House put it, individuals with serious criminal histories
- 24:34Speaker 1: and enforcing immigration laws which the prior administration refused to
- 24:38Speaker 1: do as well as Governor Waltz DHS has highlighted the
- 24:43Speaker 1: tangible arrests of dangerous criminal suspects, active federal leadership on
- 24:48Speaker 1: the ground, and increasing the manpower, as well as making
- 24:52Speaker 1: it clear who we're arresting on the web page they've
- 24:55Speaker 1: set up. This is exactly why I voted for Donald Trump,
- 24:59Speaker 1: and I got a feeling there's a lot of people
- 25:01Speaker 1: in Minneapolis that maybe didn't vote for Trump that are
- 25:04Speaker 1: now saying, Wow, maybe I voted for the wrong team
- 25:07Speaker 1: in the last election. Quick Break Ben Ferguson's show More
