- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out? Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your bad uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall Well, good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, oh man, almost forgot I
- 2:13Speaker 1: had one this morning. But I'm okay. I'll tell you
- 2:17Speaker 1: who I am in a little bit. You know, I
- 2:19Speaker 1: get around. Man, it's so much. But man, good morning everybody.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You know today. I was having a conversation with my
- 2:27Speaker 1: wife last night, and we were talking about our plans.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You know, we often sit down, you know, just like
- 2:35Speaker 1: a married couple. I mean, you know, you know we're married.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You know, we have children, we have aspirations, we have hopes,
- 2:41Speaker 1: we I mean, we have things we want. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 1: when you're married, you know, I mean it's important to
- 2:47Speaker 1: sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything you
- 2:49Speaker 1: don't know, it's common sense. Really, it's important to sit
- 2:53Speaker 1: down with the person that you've chosen and decided to
- 2:55Speaker 1: share your life with it and have multiple conversations on
- 2:59Speaker 1: a lot of things things And we try to make
- 3:01Speaker 1: sure that all of our conversations aren't always just business
- 3:06Speaker 1: related and always kid related, you know, because that that
- 3:10Speaker 1: that becomes it's a part of it. But it weighs
- 3:15Speaker 1: so much on the marriage that because that that's the
- 3:19Speaker 1: grunt work of being married. You know, your children, your family,
- 3:22Speaker 1: your bills, your your mortgage, your your car notes. You
- 3:27Speaker 1: know though, what's due, what's coming up, and if you're
- 3:31Speaker 1: not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes the focal point
- 3:36Speaker 1: of you all's conversation. And this woman or man or
- 3:40Speaker 1: person that you've decided to have this life with, all
- 3:43Speaker 1: of a sudden, they're an extension of your business, and
- 3:48Speaker 1: you guys become business partners or whatever, and and and
- 3:52Speaker 1: it just gets so anywhere. I'm just saying that that
- 3:54Speaker 1: is important to sit down and have these conversations, but
- 3:58Speaker 1: it's even more important to have have the other conversation.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You know. It's it's important with the person that you're
- 4:04Speaker 1: planning on making the run to sit down and talk
- 4:07Speaker 1: about other things, you know, on a more upbeat note.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You know, we were having a conversation that she was
- 4:15Speaker 1: reminding me of what she loved about me, and then I,
- 4:19Speaker 1: in turn, was turned around telling her the things that
- 4:23Speaker 1: I admired about her and loved about her. And we
- 4:26Speaker 1: kind of have these all the time, you know, when
- 4:28Speaker 1: we sit down and we talk about the things that
- 4:32Speaker 1: we still enjoy about one another, or we may talk
- 4:35Speaker 1: about some of the things that we miss in one another.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But we constantly had these conversations about appreciation. You know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's so important man, that the other person feels appreciated.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So these things are important. But we got into the
- 4:50Speaker 1: conversation deeper last night, and I was telling her about
- 4:53Speaker 1: this idea that I had and that I wanted her
- 4:58Speaker 1: to help me with and make a phone call for
- 5:00Speaker 1: me because she knows these people and I was going
- 5:03Speaker 1: to be doing this, and then my wife reminded me
- 5:06Speaker 1: of something not once again, you know, as always, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 1: when I'm talking to you, I just keep it as
- 5:12Speaker 1: real as I can. I don't know the Bible inside out.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I can't quote to you scriptures and tell you exactly
- 5:18Speaker 1: where it is. I just you know, I heard her
- 5:21Speaker 1: say it, but it kind of blew by me. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: was I was telling about something I wanted to make happen,
- 5:28Speaker 1: and she reminded me that there's a scripture somewhere and
- 5:31Speaker 1: somebody emailed it to me to day. I'm sure, Well,
- 5:34Speaker 1: the Bible reminds us not to be anxious for anything.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Don't be anxious for something. And you know, it really
- 5:43Speaker 1: mattered to me at that point yesterday that she bought
- 5:45Speaker 1: this to my attention, because how many times I've been
- 5:48Speaker 1: guilty of that in my past and I've learned better now,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but every now and then I need to be reminded,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know, And I think, what that what she was
- 5:59Speaker 1: saying to me. You know, I've gotten to a point
- 6:02Speaker 1: in my life, and we all should get to a
- 6:05Speaker 1: point where. You know, you've heard old people say this.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you're gonna pray about something, then don't worry about it.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And if you're gonna worry about it, don't pray about it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Back to this, be anxious for nothing, don't. If you're
- 6:20Speaker 1: going to him trust in God didn't do that, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: trusting in him means sometimes you got to be patient.
- 6:29Speaker 1: God has never been too late. You don't know the
- 6:33Speaker 1: plan he has, You don't know You don't really always
- 6:36Speaker 1: know his will. You definitely don't know his route, his
- 6:39Speaker 1: way of doing anything. So he's always on time. He's
- 6:44Speaker 1: always been there on time for me. He's always been
- 6:47Speaker 1: there on time for you. How many times have you
- 6:50Speaker 1: thought it was over only to find out it's really
- 6:54Speaker 1: just begun. How many times have people wrote you off?
- 7:00Speaker 1: There are those of you who have lost jobs, but
- 7:04Speaker 1: you are still maintaining. But man, God has already began
- 7:09Speaker 1: to turn around process for many of us. Some of
- 7:12Speaker 1: us lost jobs and now have better jobs. Some of
- 7:16Speaker 1: us lost jobs and now has forced us to rekindle
- 7:21Speaker 1: that dream and that vision for business we had. It's
- 7:24Speaker 1: sometimes the mishap is the thing you need to make
- 7:28Speaker 1: something good happen. See a lot of times we get
- 7:32Speaker 1: so comfortable in our life where we we get complacent,
- 7:38Speaker 1: We just settling in and when this is it and
- 7:41Speaker 1: this is what I'm doing. But in actuality, God has
- 7:44Speaker 1: a tremendous amount of abundance for you. He has an
- 7:48Speaker 1: amazing amount of things. He has all these boxes packaged
- 7:51Speaker 1: up with your name on him that he's willing to
- 7:54Speaker 1: ship if you would just align yourself with some of
- 7:58Speaker 1: his wills so you could It's some of these things.
- 8:01Speaker 1: How many times have you thought it was over and
- 8:04Speaker 1: it didn't really go over? How many times have you
- 8:07Speaker 1: thought well, this is it and it wasn't it at all? Well,
- 8:11Speaker 1: how many times do you thought, well, it don't look
- 8:13Speaker 1: like this gonna work out, and it didn't work out,
- 8:15Speaker 1: but then something better came along? How many times has
- 8:19Speaker 1: that happened? You've got to realize this. Man. I was
- 8:23Speaker 1: talking to a family who had got displaced from the
- 8:26Speaker 1: Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans. And Man,
- 8:30Speaker 1: when they said, yeah, we got a displaced from Katrina,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and I braced myself because the old what was me?
- 8:36Speaker 1: Here comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I
- 8:39Speaker 1: gotta be encouraging and think of something. It was totally different.
- 8:42Speaker 1: They totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said,
- 8:53Speaker 1: because what happened was he said, I got settled in
- 8:57Speaker 1: He said, Plus, I was doing something outside of my
- 9:01Speaker 1: marriage down there, He said, I was doing some stuff
- 9:04Speaker 1: in the streets. I ain't need to be doing, he said, Man,
- 9:06Speaker 1: it all got washed away. We thought our life would
- 9:09Speaker 1: never be the same. But he said, man, my life
- 9:11Speaker 1: ain't need to be the same. He said, Man. Now
- 9:14Speaker 1: we live up here in Texas. We got a house,
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
- 9:20Speaker 1: know to get into trouble with. He said, man, i'd't
- 9:22Speaker 1: rediscovered my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much
- 9:26Speaker 1: my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: it's straightened me up. Man, he says, so I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 1: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 1: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 1: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 1: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:47Speaker 1: on cause, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He got some great stuff in store for you. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show, ladies and gentlemen, without further doing. It's time
- 10:05Speaker 1: to start this thing. And start this thing. We will
- 10:09Speaker 1: st a r T ST starts with a lot of
- 10:13Speaker 1: great things in my life, st starting, st Steve st
- 10:19Speaker 1: stutter sts have paid played a pivotal role in my life.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Do you understand I clearly gratitude does not start with
- 10:29Speaker 1: an ST because it is far more superior than stuttering,
- 10:33Speaker 1: starting or steve. It is gratitude the three tunes that
- 10:39Speaker 1: can change your life. If you open your morning with gratitude,
- 10:44Speaker 1: it directly affects your attitude, which is in direct correlation
- 10:50Speaker 1: to your altitude. Let the church say, man, man a
- 10:56Speaker 1: man again, starving Shirley Strawberry, call for real. Mouth of
- 11:01Speaker 1: the South Kill better known as Junior, the legend of
- 11:04Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy and myself War Junior? What's on your mind today?
- 11:09Speaker 1: So well, uncle, we're coming back. Man. You know, I'm
- 11:13Speaker 1: thinking about motivations. You know now I recessed the first
- 11:16Speaker 1: half of the year. Have you recessed the first half?
- 11:19Speaker 1: And what's your motivation? Recess something that means you go
- 11:23Speaker 1: off to have lunch and to play on the playground. Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 1: When you get your tooth recessed is when someone punches
- 11:35Speaker 1: you and cause it to go further up into your
- 11:38Speaker 1: gum line. You have had your tooth recess. Now we first,
- 11:46Speaker 1: you don't have to master the language because and if
- 11:50Speaker 1: I correct you, you have made a severe mistake. You
- 11:53Speaker 1: know what I mean exactly, I know exact actually what
- 12:00Speaker 1: you meant. But I took this moment to show you
- 12:04Speaker 1: that I knew better than you at that particular moment
- 12:07Speaker 1: about the usage of Grahamville. The playground. Yeah, yeah, that's recess.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Nothing else really mattered to me anybody to say we're
- 12:19Speaker 1: gonna take a recess, Like where I was at a
- 12:21Speaker 1: meeting one time and they said, oh, we're gonna recess
- 12:24Speaker 1: the meeting, and I went went there for the playground.
- 12:26Speaker 1: First thing. I thought, donc that's all that mattered to me.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That was my favorite subject at school. It was all
- 12:37Speaker 1: that mattered to me. We're gonna stop the meeting, gonna
- 12:39Speaker 1: take a recess. I said, cool, they got played ground.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Just go be slick right here. I don't like none
- 12:45Speaker 1: of these people in this meeting, but I'm gonna go
- 12:47Speaker 1: over there and play by myla damn and to be
- 12:49Speaker 1: just signed. Yeah. I was the only kid that knew
- 12:53Speaker 1: how to see saw by hisself. I job. Yeah. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: just jumped as high as I cool with the board
- 13:00Speaker 1: between my legs and come on back down. I just
- 13:03Speaker 1: dealt with it. Oh that was the worst thing, y'all.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Just dealt with it, because it's hard to get somebody
- 13:11Speaker 1: to come see Saw with you when you stud him.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah I could. I could have see Saw by the
- 13:18Speaker 1: time I convinced this total stranger come over and get
- 13:21Speaker 1: on the other side of it's boy. So you just
- 13:24Speaker 1: got it over. Yeah. I went on up there and
- 13:26Speaker 1: just jumped highs I could slam back down to the ground.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I was. I didn't see Saw. I just saw all right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: thank you? Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:38Speaker 1: the nephew is back to We're all back and it's
- 13:41Speaker 1: time to run that Frank back right after this you're

- 20:06Speaker 1: sing no wants to come down to the house. That's
- 20:08Speaker 1: the show. I know you weren't coming to them. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: heard it in your voice. I say, Okay, you know what.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He ain't coming to get me. Man, I'm gonna be
- 20:17Speaker 1: here right now. Man, I might need to take off
- 20:19Speaker 1: for work. Board. Hey, let me ask you something, man,
- 20:24Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land? KB
- 20:29Speaker 1: nobody but the Steve Harvey's Morning Show with that other
- 20:33Speaker 1: that Nephew Tommy with He's Crazy Bana classic Frank from
- 20:42Speaker 1: the Nephew Thank You. Nev coming up next to has
- 20:44Speaker 1: asked the cello Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the
- 20:47Speaker 1: building ready for your love questions. Right after this, you're
- 20:51Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 20:55Speaker 1: of the hour and entertainment news Celebrity Family Feud hosted
- 20:59Speaker 1: by our very own Steve Harvey is back, Yes it is.
- 21:04Speaker 1: We'll talk about that, of course, and congratulations to the
- 21:07Speaker 1: father of the bride, Eddie Murphy, plus an entertainment news
- 21:12Speaker 1: Britney Grinder's guilty plea what does it mean? And we
- 21:15Speaker 1: got to send out prayers of healing for Pastor John
- 21:18Speaker 1: Gray who was hospitalized in the critical care unit. We'll
- 21:22Speaker 1: talk about all of these stories at the top of
- 21:24Speaker 1: the hour, but right now it is time to ask
- 21:27Speaker 1: the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right, Leah
- 21:33Speaker 1: and New Jersey writes, I was dating a guy that
- 21:36Speaker 1: was separated but had not gotten a divorce. His wife
- 21:39Speaker 1: accused me of being a homewrecker, but when I met
- 21:42Speaker 1: her husband, he had his own apartment and he was
- 21:45Speaker 1: honest about everything. She blames their separation on me. Why
- 21:49Speaker 1: do some women have misplaced anger in these situations? Well,
- 21:54Speaker 1: you gotta blame somebody. And she figured if you'd wanted
- 21:57Speaker 1: us date named, you'd want to calls the relf that's
- 22:00Speaker 1: an automatic. Didn't how many things that didn't happen that
- 22:03Speaker 1: ain't nothing new? I don't know why do women have
- 22:05Speaker 1: this place? Ain't it's displaced to you? She thinks she
- 22:10Speaker 1: didn nailed it. Think it ain't. You know, but when
- 22:15Speaker 1: you met him, you had his apartment, and that's probably true.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But she gonna blame somebody the moment. This is all
- 22:23Speaker 1: the evidence she got. She don't know as her, She
- 22:27Speaker 1: don't know as her, she don't know as him. So
- 22:30Speaker 1: she didn't find a reason. And it's you, And it's
- 22:33Speaker 1: really not you. It probably not even her. It's probably
- 22:36Speaker 1: just a shortcoming in him. Why do women always try
- 22:41Speaker 1: to find another reason other than they picked choice of men?
- 22:46Speaker 1: That makes it the cause and effect. Sometimes you just
- 22:50Speaker 1: picked the wrong man, that's all. Ain't no big deal.
- 22:53Speaker 1: You can get it right, all right. Moving on to
- 22:56Speaker 1: Tantra and Phoenix, Tandra says, I've been dating a man
- 22:59Speaker 1: for months and I've only been to his house once.
- 23:02Speaker 1: He lives an hour away from me, and he comes
- 23:04Speaker 1: to visit me, or we meet up in the middle.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He facetimes me from his house, so I don't think
- 23:11Speaker 1: he lives with anyone. Is there a reason he doesn't
- 23:14Speaker 1: invite me to his home? What's up with him? Yeah?
- 23:17Speaker 1: He got other things happening. Yeah, like what, I don't know.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if it's a pet and
- 23:23Speaker 1: zoo in there. But you're not coming on. You've been
- 23:29Speaker 1: over there one time. That was a close call. You
- 23:31Speaker 1: can't come back over him. That's all to it, y'all.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Meeting halfway in all this here, you don't never come
- 23:36Speaker 1: out there, So you know, come on now, use your intuition.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Whatever your intuition is telling you. That's probably what it is.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So what part of the house is he fatime? Oh,
- 23:47Speaker 1: he is close to the balcony wherever he closed, close
- 23:52Speaker 1: close to it. But way he can step out any second.
- 23:55Speaker 1: If you see moving in the kitchen or something. Family row,
- 24:01Speaker 1: he no clothes and he in the den where they
- 24:03Speaker 1: ain't no out. No, he got he got to be
- 24:06Speaker 1: able to step out real quick. Yeah, it's a strategic
- 24:11Speaker 1: and I mean tell him to take a tour. Let
- 24:13Speaker 1: him tell him you want to see his apartment on tour.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Tell him the FaceTime you tour. Then you'd see all
- 24:18Speaker 1: this stuff in that crib in the corner. You know
- 24:21Speaker 1: it's hot in Phoenix. Now it's Miss Sweene said over
- 24:25Speaker 1: that dividing the little room and kitchen, you know, open infrigerator.
- 24:31Speaker 1: What is all that similar in? All right? Moving on
- 24:37Speaker 1: to Katina in Chicago, Katina right to my husband and
- 24:41Speaker 1: I went to a graduation party for his niece. One
- 24:44Speaker 1: of his exes was at the party and I had
- 24:46Speaker 1: a conflict with her recently because she d MD my
- 24:49Speaker 1: husband and he showed it to me. She apologized after
- 24:53Speaker 1: I called her out on it, and my husband is
- 24:55Speaker 1: upset because I didn't speak to her. Do I have
- 24:57Speaker 1: to be nice to her? No, I'm not really. I
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't really know how you gonna be nice. No, you
- 25:04Speaker 1: ain't gotta you know, you confronted hers, she apologized. Now
- 25:07Speaker 1: he wants you to be nice. That's his that's his world.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You ain't gotta be in that. You didn't pick her,
- 25:12Speaker 1: he picked up. You didn't ask her, he asked her.
- 25:15Speaker 1: So now we excess. Let's be excess. I'm an expert
- 25:20Speaker 1: to your ex. You don't. You don't speak to your
- 25:23Speaker 1: Well what I don't? And what is we talking about?
- 25:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's just coming courtesy. No, I wanted to
- 25:33Speaker 1: be an ex so we could stop talking. That was
- 25:38Speaker 1: one of the key key That was one of the
- 25:42Speaker 1: key developmental parts of this break up. How can I
- 25:48Speaker 1: not talk to this person no more? I don't got
- 25:51Speaker 1: to hear this. Thank you I don't care what you think.
- 25:55Speaker 1: That's fine. Whatever you think, that's fine. What is we
- 25:58Speaker 1: talking about? Why? What were we talking about? You? It's
- 26:01Speaker 1: not like you moved away. You still got to exist,
- 26:04Speaker 1: live in the same world. You might run into the
- 26:06Speaker 1: world running and live in the world. You ain't finished
- 26:09Speaker 1: it over here, though. I hope I do run into you,
- 26:13Speaker 1: and then what I must be fatty because I ain't
- 26:16Speaker 1: speaking to you. I look dead. I'm not saying nothing.
- 26:20Speaker 1: If I would encourage you, Yeah, if I do see you, Okay,
- 26:29Speaker 1: give me some places I could see it. And let
- 26:31Speaker 1: me tell you what I did well, Like at the
- 26:33Speaker 1: grocery store, in the pro shop, star I lost my
- 26:39Speaker 1: ain't hugby, never eat again, Starbucks. I like, I like,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I like. I like a Dunking donnut coffee. You know
- 26:50Speaker 1: I'm talking about running into him like that. You're my
- 26:53Speaker 1: running Oh you was talking about what the call on
- 26:57Speaker 1: the freeway. Yeah, we're moving on with these killers. We're
- 27:04Speaker 1: moving on all right. Last one Steve Marie and Grand
- 27:07Speaker 1: Prairie says, I work with a lady that smells like
- 27:11Speaker 1: bacon grease. Every day. It's in her wigs, it's in
- 27:15Speaker 1: her clothes and her work bag. I am embarrassed for her, uh,
- 27:20Speaker 1: she says. Marie says, I'm embarrassed for her because our
- 27:23Speaker 1: coworkers call her a grease ball. There are only four
- 27:27Speaker 1: blacks at our job. So I don't like this at all.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Should I get out of my comfort zone and tell
- 27:34Speaker 1: her that she smells that? I mean, you know, that's
- 27:37Speaker 1: what Marie wants to know. Oh, you could just bray
- 27:40Speaker 1: eggs and toast work and have a meal. Well, that way,
- 27:45Speaker 1: she should just smel like breakfasting. I wanted to say,
- 27:49Speaker 1: it's a baker. She loved bacon. She had she and
- 27:54Speaker 1: that cooking bacon. But you might have to I don't know.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't know if you all are close enough of that.
- 28:01Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like it. She just says, I work
- 28:04Speaker 1: with a lady. She's they're just both black women at
- 28:07Speaker 1: a at the same job. You know, her wig smell
- 28:11Speaker 1: like Greece, so maybe she got a studio apartment. Yeah,
- 28:15Speaker 1: it's all wig, though that bothers me. How does your
- 28:20Speaker 1: wig smell like gree You know, probably it's the quality
- 28:28Speaker 1: of wig. And the words of Ricky Smiley, he dated
- 28:31Speaker 1: a girl a wig was so country, it was so
- 28:34Speaker 1: Crunchy that it felt like East Basket grass I heard
- 28:45Speaker 1: Rickie Smiley say that I like East Baski grass I
- 28:58Speaker 1: remember that grass like a Yeah. All right, well, thank you, Cello.
- 29:04Speaker 1: That's all we have for you today. Coming up at

- 30:10Speaker 1: And the girl that producing wrote the show wrote the
- 30:12Speaker 1: show about a particular teacher and a particular teacher was

- 32:07Speaker 1: not believed she did so because she's actually guilty. In fact,
- 32:11Speaker 1: it's believed to be paving the way for potential negotiation
- 32:14Speaker 1: negotiations to bring her home via prisoner swap. Grinder was
- 32:18Speaker 1: accused of having a gram of cannabis oil in her
- 32:21Speaker 1: luggage when she was arrested at the airport in Moscow
- 32:24Speaker 1: back in February, and addressing the court, Britney said she
- 32:28Speaker 1: didn't intend to commit a crime and was just careless
- 32:32Speaker 1: packing her bags. Elizabeth Rood, the Directory Chief of Mission
- 32:37Speaker 1: at the US Embassy in Moscow, said the US is
- 32:40Speaker 1: doing all it can and delivered a letter to Grinder
- 32:43Speaker 1: from President Biden, who was promising commitment to get all
- 32:46Speaker 1: Americans home from overseas detention. Prisoner of war. YEA, she
- 32:56Speaker 1: had to plead guilty as looks like a way to Yeah, swap, yeah, yeah,

- 33:06Speaker 1: that's what that's the agreement that, Yeah, they go make
- 33:08Speaker 1: you do that, and I'm and I'm fine with that.
- 33:11Speaker 1: You know, just say you're guilty. This ain't no time
- 33:13Speaker 1: to be telling me no, I ain't guilty. And then
- 33:14Speaker 1: you stay long, I'm guilty. I did it both and
- 33:17Speaker 1: then and then bump Russia. Hey I'm a back over

- 35:20Speaker 1: for coming. He's very happy and very proud of his daughter.
- 35:24Speaker 1: And he looks great. Eddie he did. He looks good.

- 35:54Speaker 1: vacation breakup. We'll talk about that right after this. You're
- 35:58Speaker 1: listening hard people show. All right, So this was a
- 36:02Speaker 1: question guys from Facebook. It says, Hey, Steve Tommy Junior,
- 36:07Speaker 1: my homeboy took his girlfriend on vacation because they were
- 36:10Speaker 1: beating and thought they needed to get away. They both
- 36:14Speaker 1: were tripping and still arguing, so while on vacation, they
- 36:17Speaker 1: decided to break up on the last day there. The
- 36:21Speaker 1: flight home was tough, but they said, ultimately it's for
- 36:24Speaker 1: the best man. I'd be mad if I had to
- 36:27Speaker 1: spend three grand to figure out we needed to break up.
- 36:30Speaker 1: So here's a question. Here's a question for you, guys.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Here's a question. Did you ever break up on your
- 36:38Speaker 1: vacation with your boom or did you stay and fly
- 36:42Speaker 1: home early? If you did, that's the question. I actually,
- 36:47Speaker 1: did you broke on a damn cruise ship? Yeah, happen.
- 36:55Speaker 1: It all just came to a rocky end. It was bad.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I don't know how we stayed in that cabin two
- 37:02Speaker 1: extra days. It was just bad. And by the time
- 37:05Speaker 1: we docked, not a fact called Doc back in New Orleans.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Man and then took something. I was broke, didn't have
- 37:12Speaker 1: no money, but I was through with God. Were you
- 37:18Speaker 1: guys having problems before you went on the cruise like
- 37:21Speaker 1: this guy until you thought the cruise might you know
- 37:23Speaker 1: we was having problems. It better before we met seem
- 37:27Speaker 1: like we was having problems. No, yeah, I don't want
- 37:31Speaker 1: to talk about this. This is like some ragged and
- 37:35Speaker 1: memory lane. No, I ain't never did anything like that.
- 37:41Speaker 1: First of all, the only beef I'm eating is on
- 37:43Speaker 1: the plane. You can't be beef before we go, right,
- 37:48Speaker 1: he never did anything like this. Come see here to
- 37:54Speaker 1: tell you that I've gone on several vacations. Yes, sir,
- 37:58Speaker 1: and Oh wanted to break up the FOTI vacation, wanted
- 38:03Speaker 1: to break up on the vacation, stayed and went on
- 38:06Speaker 1: some more vacation till finally he's talking about he would
- 38:13Speaker 1: be mad if he spent three thousand. I've lost millions
- 38:22Speaker 1: in bad vacations and break up. So nus Son. Sometimes
- 38:27Speaker 1: you try to save it. You try to go out
- 38:29Speaker 1: there and you know, maybe this we get some time
- 38:31Speaker 1: away alone. But that's the best way to find out
- 38:34Speaker 1: if you really belong with somebody. Go somewhere where there's
- 38:38Speaker 1: no distractions. It's Jesse. You and Marge and I have
- 38:41Speaker 1: a running joke. We knew we were meant to be
- 38:44Speaker 1: each other when we went to Bora Bora because Bora
- 38:47Speaker 1: Bora hasn't nothing to do boring. Bora bora is a
- 38:57Speaker 1: Latin word that means boring. And boy, let me tell
- 39:03Speaker 1: you something. That's a good way to find out if
- 39:04Speaker 1: you belowing to think, if you can pay three thousand
- 39:06Speaker 1: to get out and learn that information, money, well spit. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 39:10Speaker 1: nothing a lot about uh huh. All right, coming up
- 39:14Speaker 1: next thirty four after the hour, Steve is gonna tell
- 39:17Speaker 1: us about his fabulous Paris vacation. We can't wait. That's
- 39:21Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening to the String Show,
- 39:27Speaker 1: all right, we gotta talk about it. Steve is back
- 39:30Speaker 1: from Paris. We've been seeing social media, all the fashions everything. Steve,
- 39:35Speaker 1: we know why they call you blue cheese. But let
- 39:39Speaker 1: the people know why they call you blue cheese. And
- 39:41Speaker 1: then you got to share it with us, some of
- 39:43Speaker 1: your favorite moments and your looks from Paris Fashion Week. Cheese. Um,
- 39:48Speaker 1: it's sort of crazy because we didn't go to but
- 39:52Speaker 1: one show. Uh, Margie didn't feel like going to the shows,
- 39:57Speaker 1: and so we were just over that. Just really and
- 40:00Speaker 1: join the place. She only went to the Fendy show show.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I don't do a show left about fifteen minutes. Don't
- 40:09Speaker 1: you take your out dress? You got cut through all
- 40:12Speaker 1: that traffic. Didn't you go through the paparazzi line. You
- 40:16Speaker 1: sit down the show It was about fifteen minutes. A
- 40:19Speaker 1: fair show is about fifteen minutes twenty tops, so seere
- 40:24Speaker 1: longer than twenty. Yo. All the looks and that when
- 40:27Speaker 1: you were coming out the hotel doors and all of that,
- 40:30Speaker 1: we thought you were going to the shows where you
- 40:32Speaker 1: were just going where today going on hanging out, you
- 40:37Speaker 1: were going to I'll be flying just to be flying,
- 40:40Speaker 1: you know what, I love it. I love it. I
- 40:43Speaker 1: don't need a reason, you know what I mean. I
- 40:45Speaker 1: didn't need to be this season. You know, like you

- 54:12Speaker 1: a tour you here. It is a strawberry letter. Thank
- 54:15Speaker 1: you nephew. Subject she's too phony and bony now, Dear
- 54:19Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I've been married for four years to the
- 54:22Speaker 1: love of my life. When we met, she had just
- 54:26Speaker 1: had a handsome baby boy, and we bonded over us
- 54:30Speaker 1: both being heartbroken. I was engaged to a self centered
- 54:33Speaker 1: woman before I met my wife, and two weeks before
- 54:36Speaker 1: our wedding, she ghosted me. My wife had been dating
- 54:39Speaker 1: a man for a long time, and when she got pregnant,
- 54:42Speaker 1: he ghosted her. We were too damaged. Friends that became lovers.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I have raised her son as my own and loved
- 54:49Speaker 1: her through her weight challenges. I know she was bigger
- 54:53Speaker 1: when we met because she just had a baby. I
- 54:56Speaker 1: knew she was bigger because she just had a baby
- 54:58Speaker 1: when she was still overweight. A year later, we started
- 55:01Speaker 1: eating healthier and I encouraged her to lose weight. We
- 55:05Speaker 1: got a trainer and she went and got a breast reduction.
- 55:09Speaker 1: When the weight came off. She got a lot of
- 55:11Speaker 1: new clothes, and she let her hair grow, and she
- 55:14Speaker 1: got a perm. It was like her attitude changed overnight
- 55:18Speaker 1: and she was very uppity all of a sudden. I
- 55:21Speaker 1: suggested she eats up on working out because she lost
- 55:24Speaker 1: all of her curves. She started hanging out with her
- 55:27Speaker 1: trainer and the trainer's friends, who are all skinny, single
- 55:31Speaker 1: airheads that drink a lot and like to be in
- 55:35Speaker 1: the streets. My wife started wearing emerald contacts and she
- 55:38Speaker 1: wants some kind of cosmetic procedure on her chin. Our
- 55:42Speaker 1: son will be five and two months and she wants
- 55:44Speaker 1: to rent a venue for his party because she said
- 55:47Speaker 1: my house is not adequate enough. She puts her tiny
- 55:51Speaker 1: little butt in lingerie before sex, and her moan sounds
- 55:55Speaker 1: so phony, like we're in a four. No, I can't
- 55:58Speaker 1: keep up with the new woman to become, and I
- 56:00Speaker 1: hope she doesn't tell me that I'm not enough for her.
- 56:03Speaker 1: How do I get my juicy down to earth wife back? Well, honestly,
- 56:08Speaker 1: I don't think that's gonna happen. I don't think you're
- 56:11Speaker 1: gonna get her back, I think, And the problem is
- 56:15Speaker 1: you're afraid that you can't keep up with this new
- 56:17Speaker 1: woman she has become. And I think she's gone for good.
- 56:21Speaker 1: And you just basically told us why because she's changed
- 56:25Speaker 1: on the outside. You said, she got a breast reduction,
- 56:28Speaker 1: she lost all her curve, she's wearing emerald contacts now.
- 56:32Speaker 1: But I really think it's the inside change that's bothering
- 56:35Speaker 1: you the most. Because she has new friends now. She
- 56:38Speaker 1: hangs out with her trainer and his people. They like
- 56:41Speaker 1: to drink and they're from the streets, you say. And
- 56:44Speaker 1: although you were very supportive in the beginning, you know
- 56:48Speaker 1: about her weight loss and all of that getting a
- 56:51Speaker 1: trainer and all of that eating healthier. That broken girl
- 56:54Speaker 1: that you bonded with a few years back, that girl
- 56:58Speaker 1: is no longer interested in being a good wife. It
- 57:00Speaker 1: seems she's trying to live her best life right now
- 57:03Speaker 1: after conquering her weight issues. And this is who she
- 57:06Speaker 1: really is. You need to get used to this. This
- 57:09Speaker 1: is who this person really is. She's skinny now, all
- 57:12Speaker 1: of that she you know, she got her priorities mixed up.
- 57:17Speaker 1: They're all out of order now because she's trying to
- 57:20Speaker 1: find herself and she's losing you. I mean, doesn't she
- 57:24Speaker 1: realize that she could have it both. She could have
- 57:26Speaker 1: a good family, a good marriage, she could have a
- 57:28Speaker 1: good life, and she could still have a good toned body.
- 57:32Speaker 1: And all of a sudden, your house isn't good enough
- 57:34Speaker 1: for a five year old birthday party. I mean, the
- 57:38Speaker 1: five year old doesn't care about that. He just wants
- 57:41Speaker 1: to party with his little friends. I say, you've got
- 57:44Speaker 1: to talk to her. It might be too late, but
- 57:47Speaker 1: you know, you've got to try to reason with her,
- 57:48Speaker 1: because I think it's not over until it's over. I mean,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I can't speak on her fake moaning because if she
- 57:54Speaker 1: is faking it, that may be the real reason she's
- 57:56Speaker 1: checked out. I mean, that's what's got you so scared.
- 58:00Speaker 1: You got to try and sit down and figure this
- 58:02Speaker 1: whole situation out with her. But I do think part
- 58:05Speaker 1: of her is gone for good. You'll never get that back. Steve. Okay, look,
- 58:10Speaker 1: you all bonded out of mutual hurt. But I think
- 58:15Speaker 1: the relationship started in a genuine fashion. Seems like now
- 58:22Speaker 1: when you all had this baby, and she will still
- 58:26Speaker 1: overweight a year later. Now, let's talk about this for
- 58:29Speaker 1: a second. That's that babyweight. Man, it's hard to get
- 58:32Speaker 1: rid of it, really, really, is. I hear a lot
- 58:33Speaker 1: of women talk about the struggles of babyweight, and you
- 58:37Speaker 1: gotta understand that the women does dealing with babyweight thirteen
- 58:42Speaker 1: years afterwards. I mean, you know, and who am I?
- 58:46Speaker 1: Who am I to say that should have gotten rid
- 58:49Speaker 1: of it by now, because I look at my stomach
- 58:51Speaker 1: and I think I should have gotten rid of it
- 58:53Speaker 1: by now, But it don't go away like I wanted too.
- 58:56Speaker 1: So it's a weight issue. This whole thing is about
- 58:59Speaker 1: waiting attitude. This whole thing. Y'all started eating healthier, and
- 59:06Speaker 1: you encourage her to lose weight. She got a trainer,
- 59:11Speaker 1: she went and got a breast reduction, so she just
- 59:13Speaker 1: started taking everything down. I'm gonna take this weight down.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna get rid of these breasts. You know, all
- 59:19Speaker 1: this health The weight came off, she bought a lot
- 59:23Speaker 1: of new clothes, she let her hair grow, and she
- 59:25Speaker 1: got a perm. Now I'm just really basing on these
- 59:30Speaker 1: new changes that you're telling me. I just want to
- 59:32Speaker 1: deal with what was it we was dealing with originally?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Here you go, because you didn't cut damn there everything.
- 59:45Speaker 1: So I just makes me when the weight she got
- 59:49Speaker 1: a breast reduction, Yeah, when the weight came off, she
- 59:53Speaker 1: got a lot of new clothes, and she let her
- 59:56Speaker 1: hair grow and got a perm Lord Jesus, what was
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: going on before so before to breast reduction, before to
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: weight loss, before she grew her hair, and before to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: pern and before to emerald I contacts? Oh God, Jesus,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: who was you staying with? Don't forget the emerald contact?
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: That just now? All right, here we go. When we
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: come back, we'll have part two of Steve's respond to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. You definitely don't want
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to miss it. Today's strawberry letter. Subject is she's too
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: phony and bony. Now we'll get back into it right
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is she's too
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: phony and bony. Now. Well, this was a letter about
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a man and woman who met, who had had mutual pain,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: but they were there for each other and both of
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: them got go. One after this she got pregnant. The
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: other one, the guy got got to two weeks before
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: his wit and they met each other. They were friends,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: They two damaged friends that became lovers, was his description.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You've raised her son like your own. You've loved her
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: through her weight challenges, and now you said in the letter,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I knew she was bigger when we met because she
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: just had a baby when she was still Overwait a
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: year later, then y'all started eating health and you encouraged
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: her to lose a weight. I'm assuming we started because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you was kind of you know, big boy yourself a
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: little bit. Then got a trainer when now here was
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the problem. I have to I'm listening to everything she's done,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and I want to just see what we were. What
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: were we dealing with before all this? So these is
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the changes. She got a trainer and got a breast reduction,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: so that's the first thing she got. Because then you
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: said when the weight came off, she got rid of
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: a little close. So she got the breast reduction and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: done first. That was probably so she could do the workouts.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: What I don't know, That's what I'm thinking. They stole
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: this letter right here. If I was an internant person
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: reading this letter, and I do have a tendency to
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: be ignorant at times. Check she was overweight. A year later,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: we started eating healthy, got we gotta trainer. She wouldn't
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: got a breast reduction. I'm assuming that these exercises without
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: the breast reduction was a bit much. She was getting
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: hit in the mouth a lot, you know, maybe even
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: maybe did jumped and knocked herself out. You know, Uh,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: couldn't couldn't see the flow, you know, doing the little
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: ladder drills on the flow and couldn't see the flow
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: called the breast was in the way. I don't know what,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: but to do these exercises, she had to get this
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: breath ret done. Then when the wave come off, she
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: got a lot of clothes. Then she let her hair
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: grow and got a perm. So fotus it wasn't no hand,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: it wasn't no perm. I'm just basing this on that.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Then her attitude changed and she started all wearing emerald contacts.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: You gotta be careful with the emerald contact because they
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: got to match your skin toe. You just can't want
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: green eyes and be any shade. Now, some of this
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: we bought a line. Scary. Now we look at like
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: children at the corn and stuff like this. Now, you
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you know, like really really fair complexant people can't get
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: emerald eyes, and real dog people can't get emerald eyes.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: You can't go on the street. You gotta be somewhere
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: in the middle. You gotta be like a different color
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: to get gimmer eyes. Then you said she wanted some
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: kind of cosmetic surgery on her chin. Well, her cheer
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: was probably damaged from her breath. You know, there's a
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: lot of this gold hand in hand in this letter
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: right here. I'm not gonna be able to help this
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: couple off. I can see that right now. So let's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: just find the joy out of this letter. Because after
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: this breast reduction, notche for the first time she seeing
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: her chin. Now she got to get something done because
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: then breath gets all up under her. She had her
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: cleavage started. Her cleavage was so big some people thought
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: she had a cleft in her chin. It was actually
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: her breath. So now once she got that cleavage reduced,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: she found out it wasn't a cleft in her chin.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Then the sun gonna be five and two months, and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: she want to rent a venue because the house ain't
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: adequate enough for the five year old party, because she
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: won't to flex in front of her little skinny ass
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: friends and train of friends. Then then she puts on
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: a little tiny butt in Lingerrabifolk sex and her moan
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: sounds so funny, like we're in a point oh, and
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you just can't keep up with this woman she'd become.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: And I hope she don't tell me that not enough
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: for her. How do I get my juicy down to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: earth wife back? She could be gone with all this
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: chin work weight reduction and took the breasts off. You
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: just can't go packing that back home. But we're gonna
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: have to start them. The only way we're gonna get
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: big juicy back is we got to start with food.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: We've got to get these calagies up. This I could
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: help you with. I can't help you with losing weight,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: but I can show them how to packing up bread.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Bread is very important, and not just bread alone. But
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: you gotta put something on the bread. It's gotta be
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: butter or jam, stuff like that. You got came down.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Don't just eat the bread by yourself, because we gotta
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: get big juicy back. That's what you want. You want
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: big juice down to earth. And she was down to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: earth because she couldn't get off the earth. You understand.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: So big people is gonna be more ground dead because
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: they are very rarely ever a born. So there you're
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: gonna have even moments like this hill. So to get
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: big juice it back, we got to start with bread.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: We need to go to grocery store and bibe that
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: big bag of potatoes, the one you ain't bought in
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: a while. That's paper, but it's got the little mesh
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: on the front, so you can see that there is potatoes.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: And then you need to go down there at the
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: bottom row. They are the bottom row of that aisle
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: and get that big ass bag of rice, the one
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: that that that you can't hold in one hand. Yeah,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: it's on the bottom rope. It's the big bags is
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: on the bottom rope. Get that chi and done. She
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: gets that chien. Done. You ain't gonna be talked to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: comment on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey on Instagram
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Coming up with forty six minutes after the hour, we
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: got Sports Talk with Junior right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time now for Junior
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and Sports Talk. Junior. What you got this morning? Okay? Sure,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Brittany Grinder, we all know she pleaded guilty. We talked
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: about this earlier, but her coach, her coach for the
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Mercury of Phoenix Mercury. She said her name is Vanessa
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and ninegard. He says Brittany would already be home if
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: she was a famous male athlete, and she brought up
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Tom Brady, and he said it wouldn't be a question
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: because Tom Brady would be home by now. And she's
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: saying that she's based on the on the fact that
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Tom Brady would not have to play in Russia to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: supplement his income, talking about the disparages between WNBA players
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: and male players that getting paid the money they're getting paid,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: so they go, if you play in the w NBA,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you can earn anywhere from two hundred and fifty thousand
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: to half a million where they go over season play
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: in places like Russia, Turkey and Spain where they get
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a million to play basketball. We need we need to
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: get her home. Yeah, first, I understand this other platform,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: did everybody want to take advantage of and all this here,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: but you got to find a way to bring this
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: girl home, you know, So it ain't just if it's
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Tom Brady. You know, she wasn't a woman, if she
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: wasn't black, A whole lot of things could be different,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: but this is the world we end and so we
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: got to focus speak to us Shirley, No, I'm saying
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: it does speak to the question that a lot of
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: people were asking, well, what was she doing over there
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: in the first place. You know a lot of people
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: were asking that so that to make money, so she
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: could supplement her income. Yeah, right right, and you know
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: that's that that does speak to it. But like I've said, though,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: you do have to get a home. We can address
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: a lot of stuff when we get it back. You know, yeah,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: we know that as a disparity in the pay We
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: know that as a disparity in the attendance of the game.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: We understand that now the soccer players that went out
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: there in fault. You know, the NBA's got they got
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: the w NBA has got to do better the sponsorship
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: that they're getting. All them teams got some type of
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: sponsors and you know you've got sponsorship has to pay more.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: You know, they're wearing all these jerseys with these names
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: on it than all this here and they playing the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: same arenas and everything. More those sponsorship dollars have to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: go to those women. Junior did what's happening with KD
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: because I ain't that was next man. That's what I'm
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: about to tell you. Kevin Durant Man wants out of Phoenix,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: and I don't know either because of Kyrie Irvitt. But
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: he don't want out of Brooklyn, but he's going he
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: wants to go to Phoenix. That's what I'm saying. He
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: want to go to Phoenix, but he won't out of
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Brooklyn for Shell and he just saying Phoenix not being
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: aggressive enough coming to get him to get him out
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: of because he's not doing another year where he playing
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: ball by himself and Kyrie. We don't know what his
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: next call is gonna be. That's what Kyrie. Yeah, I'm
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: not doing another season. You're having your own practice. You
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: ain't practice with the team. I won't out and see it.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I won't outright. Yeah, all right, him a fans coming
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. We'll check Steve's voicemail.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show, and
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: it's time now to check Steve's voicemail. And if you
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: want to leave a message for Steve, all you have
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: to do is call him eight seven seven twenty nine
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, here we go.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: This caller Steve's name is Ron. He says you can
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: be the most powerful man in America. Yes, Steve, this
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: is Ron, the guy that just called you, that was
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: urging you to run for president. Just give me a
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: call back and just express an interest that you would
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: like to even talk about it. I'll build your website,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: put your policy on there. I'll send it to you.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: You check it out. You tell me, mister, I know
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: you don't feel like you know enough probably should be president,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: but you can learn that. What you got is you
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: got to be president. I've been working in politics professionally
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: long times to and show you what to do. Bro,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I got the master plan for your brother. Just give
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: me a call. We're not done that. I appreciate all
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: of that. Here's a problem with politics. I don't like them,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: and I don't like the people in it. And I
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: don't like asking nobody to pass my bill and then
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: they don't, and then I don't like a group of
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: people sitting over there just called that's what the group say,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: that's what everybody say. I don't like that. I'm not
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: a good debater. I don't do well in debates. I'm
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: not gonna be a good all and I'm not really
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: sure y'all want me speaking on behalf of the country
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: because I'm gonna losing all this stuff that I see wrong.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You know. Well, that's why he wants said, Yeah, you
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: can you can learn, He said, you don't teach you that.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I'm I'm bringing all the troops home. Ain't helping nobody
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: else fight. First of all, we are doing that. No
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: mold you know now if you're talking about coming over
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: here and then we'll meet y'a all over there and
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: wenna start bugging then, but just over there, you know,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: talking and all this here soldiers getting shot. No, No,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: if you do something to our troops, what I'm fitting
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to do back to you, you ain't gonna like because
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna do extreme stuff. You heard six our men,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: six thousand yours fitting the pack. That's all I gotta
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: say for tat so now, okay, so, And foreign policy,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell all Americans what we're doing with all
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: foreign policy because that's something we as Americans are not
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: privileged to hear his foreign policy. And I'm gonna tell
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: them all of what the foreign policy is. And I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: my head him voting on it and stuff like that,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: and I'm just not gonna be a good politician at all.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: And then I'm gonna tell them folks what I really
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: think about them. I'm gonna be a bunch of name
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: calling and then I'm gonna win that right there, though, Well,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch this hill all right. Well, thank you, Ron,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: And I'm not moving in there because I'm gonna stay
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: at my crib. That's the other thing. I'm not moving
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: up there. I don't like all them dead people on
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the wall. I feel I'm very uncomfortable walking all the
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: kid white people on the walls. Man, I don't have
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: enough respect for them. And all this hit walking past
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Thomas Jefson, I don't really know if he had no
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: slaves or not. I ain't like nobody on the walls. Yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: moving on to the Marvin the truck Driver, Steve, Steve,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: my name is Marvin Johnson. I'm a truck driver. I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: don't let you know I've been hating you since nineteen
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: ninety seven when you didn't sign my autoground. But I've
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: been listening to your show for like the last two years,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and you changed my life for a lot of things
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: you stay, so I don't hate you no more. Actually,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you changed my life with your wisdom, and I thank you,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and uh, I appreciate you. Man. Keep on with you faster.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Your ball das head just like me. So I just
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: want to say thank you. But Marvin, you know this
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: response is gonna be a little difficult for me to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: make it. I only have thirty seconds to make it.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Let's first, let's deal with the part about you hated me.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I never knew that, Marvin, so it didn't mean a
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: damn to me. So I'm glad you hated me and
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: didn't tell me. I'm also glad that you got to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: know me a little bit better from the inside. I'd
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: like to apologize to not signing your autograph, but maybe
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I ain't want to that damn day. So that's all
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: too it. We've grown, ask me, and let's just move
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: on about your autograph. Were changing lives now, Marvin, I
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: shake again. Stay safe out there on that role, brother,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: and I got a lot for you too with your
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: ball headed ass. We'll be back with more of the
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Right after that, you're listening show, all right, Steve. We
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: have one more phone call for you. This one's from France.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Oh okay, Hi so weak. So we are in Paris,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: France right now, and we just saw Steve Harvey and
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I was kind of just sitty. I'm like a little
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: girl and I was just staring there and a beautiful space.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: He was with his bodyguard and he was in it
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: like rong sweater and it was It's the best thing
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: in my life right now because it's my childhood. I don't.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I love you so much, Jeeves was right there. That's
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: really cool. Congratulate thank you, young lady. I know that
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: because only one one sweater. I remember the bodyguard was
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: no I know was a bodyguard. I was thinking, no bodyguard.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I might have been with my boy Kevin, or I
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: could have been with had a been since meeting over there,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: but yeah, probably probably was with Kevin. Yeah, but congratulations. Hey,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: And I wanted to send out to the truck driver
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: to call there. Much respect to Marvin Johnson. You know
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: why I respect Marvin because he left his whole name.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Oh man, enough about it. I like that man in
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: the Marvin Johnson. I got love from you from now on.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Dog appreciate you. All right, all right, coming up with
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play a round
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I would you rather with the guys right after this?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You're listening, it is time now for a round of
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather be reincarnated as an
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: animal or as a human again? Come back with no
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: damn anim But if you came back as an animal,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: just outside a time, got to find something to eat.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I ain't got no money, I ain't coming the here,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: ain't got no money. I ain't done that before the
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: first part of your life. Yeah, I would already been
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: an animal. Yeah, we ain't doing that. No damn not
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: with no money, no lawd. I don't want no part
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: of that. I want to be involved in currency exchange
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: at some point of hope somebody set a bowl of
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: milk out man. Hell all right, okay, moving on? Would
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you rather not speak for an entire year? Or would
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: you rather not here for an entire year? If I
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: can't here, didn't am I speaking? I didn't get it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, you can't hear you
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: show gonna sound stupid. That's when you used to hear.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: You know, I have trouble pronouncing words. And I can't
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: hear him. Boy, if I can't hear, you can hear?
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: What is his ass talking? I think i'd want to hear. Okay,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: so you're rather you can type, right, But if you
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: can't hear, no, man, I can't. But not talking for
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: a year. A lot of writing, I can't hear a
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: lot of writing. I can't hear you. The money I'm
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: gonna be missing out on. I can't talk. Yeah, we're
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: living yeahs and hold them up. A lot of text cussing,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: A lot of text cussing. All right, guys, would you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: rather climb the highest mountain or swim the deepest sea? Man?
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Why I'm gonna die in that water? That's for day.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I can't get in that water, man. But but I
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: can't hand the heights because I'm out. I get out
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to two sickness. Yeah, what's you gonna do? So we're
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: gonna down the way up or down the way down?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Like like I'm not I'm not fit to do that though, Okay,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I don't make no sense. I don't even want up there.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I don't do it would mean nothing for me to
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: stick a flag in the top of every nothing. So
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: then you're going to the deepest sieves. Yeah, but I
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: can't swim, so hell I swim, but I ain't going
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: way down now. All right, that's today's round of would
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you rather coming? I know like today? All right? Coming
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: up in forty nine minutes after the hour, last break
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: of the day, and Steve Harvey equal close out the
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: show right after this. You're listening, all right, It is
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: time now for um the last break of the day.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: That's where we are. And of course on the last break,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: it's been a good tuesday. On the last break up,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: we let Steve close out the show with his remarks.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Go ahead, Steve, you know what, I just want to
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: say something encouraging to people, because so many people out there,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: you know, I look at Instagram and I watch people,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: and I listen to people, and I get so many
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: calls now and so many texts and so many things.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I run up into people and say, hey, man, we
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: really look up to you. Just yesterday, I got off
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: a plane and young man says, sir, excuse me. I
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: just want you to know we look up to you.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Thank you man for saying some of the things you say,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: and that you know that that really mattered to me.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: And as i've gotten older, I've started to understand more
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: and more in my position and my mission in life,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: and part of it is to be encouraging and informative
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: for those that still trying to find their way, because
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I know what it's like to not know your way.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I know what it's like to feel the frustration of
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: wanting something to happen and nothing seems to happen. But
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: all those times that I felt like nothing was seeming
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: to be happening, it was actually going down at that
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: very moment. It actually was. It just takes experienced time
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: and age to look back on it and see exactly
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: what was happening to you was in preparation of what
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: was going to happen to you later on. And so
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: it became imperative that you understood that the things that
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: happened in your past are in direct correlation with where
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you wanted to be today. And I wanted to do
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: these closing remarks to encourage people that there is a
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: process that all of us are in process, and I
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: have to remind myself of that oftentimes. Also, how many
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: times have I set a goal for myself without asking
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: God to give me the proper guidance in that goal
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: in direction, because when I asked God for something, he
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: usually does it in a way that I didn't even
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: see how, or I didn't even think of. I give
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you an example. I put something on my vision board
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: about six years ago maybe, and what was involving a franchise.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I'll just leave it at that, and that's what I said, Man,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I'd love to have a franchise like this. ID love
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: to have a few of these. Well, that was my goal,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: and I put it on my vision board. Years later,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: I actually ended up doing a benefit for the franchise.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Then I actually formed a relationship with the guy that
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: owns the franchise, and I started using some of his
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: facilities to do something else that God had wanted me
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: to do that I didn't know. I'm being very vague
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: because I just don't want to give up the story
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the name, but just understand what I'm saying. All I
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: wanted was a franchise. What God intended for me to
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: be with something different. And so then eventually I ended
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: up owning something of the franchise, but it wasn't a franchise.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: It's the craziest thing. Now, all of this happened because
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: later on in life, I stopped worrying about what I
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: wanted and I started asking God to show me what
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: he wanted from me. And even though I was in
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: the right direction, I wasn't thinking big enough, and what
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: God ended up giving me was far bigger than what
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: I had wanted. The lesson I learned is the lesson
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you about today. You can have
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: your dreams and aspirations as you should, but open yourself
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: up to the will of God so you can see
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: what God God for you. Because I'm telling you, man,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you can't out plan God. You can't out thinking, and
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you shan can't out doing so. While you on Instagram
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: flexing and fronting and acting like you this and acting
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: like you this, why don't you go to God and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: honesty and tell him the truth. Hey, you know what, God,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I'm really a little bit broken right now. I'm really
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: been going through some things and I'm struggling, and Hey God,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I just wanted to tell you, Man, just between me
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and you, when I ain't flexing and I ain't fronting,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: I'm actually confused. I need some understanding, I need your wisdom,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I need your guidance man, because I'm trying to being confused,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: but I'm acting like I'm okay. I need some help.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: You know something, y'all gonna tell y'all something. Prayer works, man,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Prayer really does work. Prayer changes things, but prayer change
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: people too. Think about that for a minute. Think of
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: all the ways you try to project yourself. But then
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the reality of it is. Man, I've had to slow
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: myself down so many times and say, God, make me
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: the man you want me to be. Come on, Man,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: just make me who you want me to be. This
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: idea I have for myself, I could be selling it short.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: This idea that I have for myself may not be
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: in your will. This idea I have for yourself for
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: myself may not be in your timing. I'm just asking you, God,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: if you could just step ahead for me. Man, just
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: help me out. I'm tired. I'm tired of getting it wrong.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: I'm tired of perpetrating I'm trying to I'm tired of flexing.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I'm tired of acting like I'm something that i'm not.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I'm tired of showing people the good side so they'll
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: think I'm just fine. I'm really hurting over here. I
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: really need some help. I'm just coming to you straight
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: up and just saying, hey, could you fix me? Because
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I don't know how the first The first idea of
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: solving a problem is the first admitting that you have one.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Y'all think about that today. Okay, those are my closing remarks.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: I hope that helps somebody today. Y'all have a great day. Hey, listen,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: don't forget talk to God. He would love to hear
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: from you about for real. For all Steve Every contests
