- 0:16Speaker 1: bucks things and the tubbing me through good it. Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to the movie Star, I don't join joining me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Turn the water, the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your baby, uh I shore
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. I was. I had my head
- 2:15Speaker 1: down and it was thinking of what I wanted to
- 2:18Speaker 1: say this morning. But it kind of it's kind of
- 2:24Speaker 1: be something I've lived for a long time, and you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: for a long time, you know, I had a lot
- 2:31Speaker 1: of faith in people. You know. It's strange too, because
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know, you know, my mother was a Sunday school teacher,
- 2:38Speaker 1: so of course I grew up around it, knowing the
- 2:42Speaker 1: scriptures and things like that. Not not a lot of them,
- 2:45Speaker 1: but you know, the ones I retained. But having her
- 2:49Speaker 1: as a mother was was a huge help and understand
- 2:53Speaker 1: about faith. But even with that, as I grew up,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I began to put a lot of faith in people,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and you know, I figured, you know, just like everybody else,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know, man if I could just meet this person,
- 3:07Speaker 1: or if I could just sit down with that person,
- 3:10Speaker 1: or man if I could just get this person to
- 3:12Speaker 1: hear my ideal, or man if if this person could
- 3:15Speaker 1: hear my track, or man if I could just get
- 3:18Speaker 1: this in the hands or somebody in the know. I was,
- 3:22Speaker 1: like everybody else, I thought that way. You know, I
- 3:25Speaker 1: actually thought that if I could get in a certain
- 3:28Speaker 1: situation with a certain person, that if a certain person
- 3:31Speaker 1: were to meet me, that you know, it could change
- 3:35Speaker 1: everything for me. Oh man, Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? How long did I spend
- 3:43Speaker 1: feeling that way? And how many of you out there
- 3:46Speaker 1: possibly have felt that way before? You know, like even
- 3:49Speaker 1: in a relationship, this is the person for me, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know, you just lay claim to that, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: not necessarily being a fact, but you just lay claim
- 3:58Speaker 1: to it. This is the person for me, This is
- 4:01Speaker 1: the person that I want to spend the rest of
- 4:03Speaker 1: my life with. You know. Sometimes, you know, we just
- 4:05Speaker 1: lay claim to stuff and it's not always what's in
- 4:08Speaker 1: our best interests or it's not always a fact. It's
- 4:10Speaker 1: just what we decided we want it. And I was
- 4:13Speaker 1: guilty of that, just like anybody else. And I spent
- 4:17Speaker 1: a lot of years in my life putting faith in people. Man,
- 4:21Speaker 1: if I could tell you anything this morning, it's to
- 4:24Speaker 1: stop putting your faith in people and put your faith
- 4:27Speaker 1: in God where it counts the most. I mean, you
- 4:30Speaker 1: can get something out of this one. See, here's a
- 4:32Speaker 1: deal about a relationship with God. It's the same all
- 4:36Speaker 1: the time. He never changes. His word is one absolute.
- 4:42Speaker 1: His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's this is what it is. He's very clear. Now,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you can deviate off your end at a bargain, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: it don't stop what he says from being true. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: if he asked you to do something, if God asks
- 4:59Speaker 1: you to to be a certain way, to do a
- 5:01Speaker 1: little something a certain way, and you don't do it
- 5:03Speaker 1: that way, then you know you could still possibly get
- 5:07Speaker 1: by for a while. But don't you understand that his
- 5:11Speaker 1: end of the deal stays the same, and as long
- 5:14Speaker 1: as you're not doing it the way you're supposed to,
- 5:16Speaker 1: the results are not going to be what you wanted
- 5:18Speaker 1: to be. And I did this for years and years
- 5:21Speaker 1: and years and I counted on people. And you know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I got myself in a lot of situations, and I
- 5:27Speaker 1: got out one a dire situation that I'd been in
- 5:31Speaker 1: for a number of years. But he had protected me
- 5:33Speaker 1: from years prior to that. I didn't even know what
- 5:35Speaker 1: was going on, and then he made it away. It
- 5:38Speaker 1: made me aware of the problem. And then, man, lord
- 5:42Speaker 1: ha mercy, I was in a dismal situation. And then
- 5:45Speaker 1: at the end of the year I was free, free
- 5:48Speaker 1: from it all. But it was a decision that I
- 5:51Speaker 1: had made that led up to that, and in going
- 5:55Speaker 1: through that process, I had to learn something. Man. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: learned a lot about people. See, if you want to
- 6:01Speaker 1: learn about your friends, if you want to learn about
- 6:03Speaker 1: your people people around you, get yourself in some trouble,
- 6:08Speaker 1: get yourself in a situation. Oh man, you start looking around. Man,
- 6:13Speaker 1: the field get real clear when you're in trouble. The
- 6:16Speaker 1: field clear is out. When you're in doubt, when you
- 6:19Speaker 1: don't know what to do, when you need help it
- 6:22Speaker 1: get real clear on the play and field. Then don't it. Ah.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw in a celebration. We were gonna We're gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:34Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all the mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust it,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:05Speaker 1: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No, I
- 7:15Speaker 1: hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my O
- 7:18Speaker 1: on this situation because I hear you saying it. But
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this faith to mine, and instead of
- 7:25Speaker 1: putting it in people, I'm gonna put it in God
- 7:27Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Because his word is absolute.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What he say he gonna do, he gonna do what
- 7:33Speaker 1: he says. He's not gonna tolerate, He's not gonna tolerate. Now,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you can make it you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but He's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there finding themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me, or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:55Speaker 1: let me ask you, whetting people, at the only one
- 8:00Speaker 1: that I found when I was in my deepest trouble,
- 8:04Speaker 1: when me and my wife were in our darkest situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: was God. It is the only one, was the only
- 8:10Speaker 1: one who was just right there, right there all the
- 8:14Speaker 1: way through. Now, let me explain something to you. Because
- 8:21Speaker 1: you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 8:24Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 8:27Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 8:32Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 8:37Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 8:40Speaker 1: will give you the strength to overcome the situation when
- 8:44Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he cracks it
- 8:48Speaker 1: open for you and the sun is bright and shining,
- 8:51Speaker 1: what he don't want you to do is when he
- 8:52Speaker 1: gets sunny again, to forget about him who was there
- 8:56Speaker 1: when it was dark for you. See, I used to
- 8:59Speaker 1: do that too, you know. I was Oh, man, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: did it. I'm telling you right now, I did it.
- 9:04Speaker 1: But I'm telling you man, when I learned a very
- 9:07Speaker 1: serious lesson and I watched some people I thought were
- 9:11Speaker 1: friends of mine just sort of casually remove themselves from
- 9:17Speaker 1: the situation, then I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around.
- 9:21Speaker 1: We said, okay, it's just me, you and God. And
- 9:24Speaker 1: when we started conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny
- 9:29Speaker 1: for us, we remember God. We stay prayerful, we keep
- 9:33Speaker 1: talking to him. We thank him for the sunshine, we
- 9:36Speaker 1: thank him for the dark days that he allowed us
- 9:39Speaker 1: to do, who allowed us to survive it and turn
- 9:41Speaker 1: it into sunny days. And we talked to him constantly
- 9:44Speaker 1: to protect us of our future enemies. And that's what
- 9:47Speaker 1: the deal is. So if I was everybody, I would
- 9:50Speaker 1: stop putting your faith in people and put your trust
- 9:52Speaker 1: in God where it really does count the most, It
- 9:55Speaker 1: really really does. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, let
- 10:03Speaker 1: me have your undivided attention, please. It has begun another
- 10:08Speaker 1: great day, another day here above ground, another day of
- 10:12Speaker 1: blessed day. A time during this challenging time, which is
- 10:17Speaker 1: actually a time, if you look at it the correct way,
- 10:21Speaker 1: is a time of ease and refreshment. This is a
- 10:25Speaker 1: time of ease and refreshment. If you look at it
- 10:29Speaker 1: the right way and you can take advantage of it,
- 10:31Speaker 1: you can turn this into sunshine. You can make lemonade
- 10:35Speaker 1: out of these lemons. You can do something positive and
- 10:38Speaker 1: come out of this whole thing bigger and better than
- 10:41Speaker 1: you were when you went in. We ain't in the
- 10:43Speaker 1: middle of a crisis. We're in the middle of a miracle.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I claim it. I asked you to join in and
- 10:48Speaker 1: claim it. Stop complaining about it, and look for the
- 10:50Speaker 1: bright side. Because we ain't got no where to go.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We ain't going nowhere. They don't need a crime about it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: We in it to win it. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome

- 22:37Speaker 1: probably the majority of this year. What are you talking?
- 22:40Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Being there? Where? Here? At
- 22:44Speaker 1: the adult daycare? Adult daycare? Where? Where's that? What are
- 22:50Speaker 1: you talking? Okay? Is Evan? My name? My name is Evan, yes, ma'am.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And your third daughter is Diane. Diane, that's what you
- 23:00Speaker 1: know my daughters? Yes, well, she's the one that has
- 23:03Speaker 1: you signed up. You're gonna be at the adult daycare,
- 23:06Speaker 1: so I'm assuming she's gonna be dropping you off every morning,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and I how are you talking about? Evan? Evan, hang
- 23:11Speaker 1: on a second. All right, First of all, I don't
- 23:13Speaker 1: know who you are. You don't know who I am.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't know how you know who my daughter is.
- 23:20Speaker 1: This is really uh inappropriate and weird And what are
- 23:24Speaker 1: you trying to get? What do you what do you want?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Do you want money to me? Or you like a solicitor? No? No, no, no, ma'am,
- 23:31Speaker 1: no no no. Note at I'm as Sharon, your daughter
- 23:35Speaker 1: has signed you up? To be here at the adult
- 23:39Speaker 1: daycare during the day, so I'm just going to I
- 23:43Speaker 1: don't know what you're talking about. There's no way she
- 23:45Speaker 1: would do that. I don't day here. What do I
- 23:47Speaker 1: need to? Don't day care for? So? What are you
- 23:49Speaker 1: home alone most of the time during the day? Who
- 23:52Speaker 1: cares if I'm home alone? Who? Why are you asking
- 23:55Speaker 1: me that you're trying to break into my house? No? No, no,
- 23:59Speaker 1: you want me? I don't know, miss Sharon. Okay, look,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm hooked up to that uh nine one month stuff. Thanks,
- 24:08Speaker 1: like I could just do a panicle right now and
- 24:11Speaker 1: they'll trace this call and they will come to you
- 24:14Speaker 1: and arrest you because you're harassing me. No, no, no, okay,
- 24:19Speaker 1: miss Sharon, I'm not harassing you. Your daughter, Diane came
- 24:24Speaker 1: in and signed up. Yes, she signed you up for
- 24:27Speaker 1: you to go to this daycare Monday to Friday. Why,
- 24:30Speaker 1: she's at work, so she's going to be dropping you
- 24:33Speaker 1: off and then she'll pick you up in the evenings
- 24:35Speaker 1: on her way home from work. I don't know where
- 24:38Speaker 1: you got that from. I don't know who told you that. Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you got my daughter's name, and this is really freaking
- 24:43Speaker 1: me out, you know, a little bit over here, Ivan,
- 24:46Speaker 1: because I don't know why you know my name, you
- 24:48Speaker 1: know my daughter's name. Ah, this is why. The only
- 24:51Speaker 1: reason I name miss miss Sharon is because she came
- 24:55Speaker 1: in and gave all the information, and she has paid
- 24:58Speaker 1: for you to come to the adult day chair on
- 25:01Speaker 1: a daily Yeah. Yeah, yeah, hear ye. Hey, you know what,
- 25:04Speaker 1: you sound like a nice guy. You know what I mean, Like,
- 25:06Speaker 1: you're smooth, you got a nice voice, You're you're you know,
- 25:09Speaker 1: like you know what to say. I don't know who
- 25:11Speaker 1: the hell you are though, I don't know what you're
- 25:13Speaker 1: talking about. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not
- 25:15Speaker 1: going to no daycare center. I'm not going with daycare center.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I wanted day because I'm fine. Just get that through
- 25:23Speaker 1: your head. There's nothing wrong with me. I stay home,
- 25:26Speaker 1: I got a dog, I walk the dog, I go
- 25:29Speaker 1: grow street shopping. My daughter comes over. Everything's signy. I
- 25:34Speaker 1: don't even know daycare center. Okay, I say what I'm
- 25:36Speaker 1: saying that there is there is there a reason why
- 25:39Speaker 1: she would sign you up, ma'am. She must do she
- 25:42Speaker 1: must be looking out for your best. You know your hell.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Let me ask you to let me ask you are
- 25:47Speaker 1: you single? Are you single? Are you married? What does
- 25:50Speaker 1: that have to do? Toby, I'm not coming to no
- 25:53Speaker 1: daycare center, all right, Evan, Like, if you want to
- 25:56Speaker 1: come to my house and you want to see how
- 25:58Speaker 1: I live, you can. I don't know, I'm twitching, I'm
- 26:03Speaker 1: switching it up. Okay, I don't need to come to
- 26:06Speaker 1: your home. I'm more concerned about making sure you're comfortable
- 26:10Speaker 1: here at the a Belt day care when you get
- 26:11Speaker 1: here on Monday. Yeah, I'm not coming there. That's it.
- 26:14Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with me. I'm not coming out of
- 26:16Speaker 1: my house. But I'll pay for even you. I don't know.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I like your voice. I just like your voice. Miss
- 26:24Speaker 1: way minute, mischine? How old? How old you? I'm fifty fifty.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Have you ever been with an eighty nine year old lady? Wow? Wow? Nine?
- 26:38Speaker 1: And you sound really nice, that's all. Like at first
- 26:42Speaker 1: I was scared of you. At first I worked. I'll
- 26:44Speaker 1: be honest, I was scared of you. And now I'm not. Like,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I don't know why. I'm just not you know what
- 26:51Speaker 1: I mean? Like you just sound not Yeah, I don't
- 26:55Speaker 1: know who you are, but okay, so will you be there?
- 27:01Speaker 1: Will you be at the daycare center? Like you because
- 27:04Speaker 1: I like to meet you. I'll be at the daycare
- 27:07Speaker 1: when you arrive on Monday. But I mean not, um,
- 27:12Speaker 1: Miss Sharon. I like that, Miss Sharon. That's nice. Okay.
- 27:16Speaker 1: So should I reach out to Diane about this all
- 27:20Speaker 1: to reach out tour? Sure, reach out to her. Okay, Well,
- 27:24Speaker 1: you're not gonna like it. Yeah, go ahead. You're not
- 27:27Speaker 1: gonna come in Monday. I'm right, I'm I'm like, I
- 27:31Speaker 1: don't know, you're gonna be very just late the Sharon.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's not about me, it's about you coming in and
- 27:37Speaker 1: you're gonna this is where you're gonna be, uh, Monday
- 27:41Speaker 1: through Friday from all right. You know, there's there's there's
- 27:45Speaker 1: there's other people your age here. There's there's a lot
- 27:47Speaker 1: of ladies. You're aging a lot of men your age here, ladies.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I'm not in the ladies. I'm not in late. I
- 27:53Speaker 1: didn't I'm not turning. Yeah, not into it. I'm in.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm into you, okay. Um. I think it's a situation
- 28:02Speaker 1: like your your daughter doesn't want you to be by yourself. Yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 1: could you could I call you back? Can I call
- 28:08Speaker 1: you back? Yeah? Let me call you back. Let me
- 28:11Speaker 1: call you back. In a couple of minutes. I'm on
- 28:13Speaker 1: the shore and I got pulled my off of the thing.
- 28:18Speaker 1: This is the first this ever happened to me. Okay, uh,
- 28:23Speaker 1: Miss Sherid, Can I tell you who I am? I
- 28:26Speaker 1: am Matthew telling me from the Steve Arvey Morning Show.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Your daughter Diane got me the prank. Call you, but
- 28:33Speaker 1: I promise you you're different you. I promise you. I'm different.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I promise you I'm different. Here it relates to Steve Harvey,
- 28:44Speaker 1: like the guy on TV that's out of here. He
- 28:49Speaker 1: is gorgeous. Ant called me back. All right, all right, okay,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I love you, oh my, all right, coming up at
- 29:03Speaker 1: the top of the hour, entertainment in National News. Right
- 29:06Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Senator Kamala
- 29:15Speaker 1: Harris will be our special guest. We'll get her opinion
- 29:18Speaker 1: on the country's leadership from our president as we go
- 29:21Speaker 1: through this COVID nineteen pandemic. But first and tell me
- 29:25Speaker 1: something good. Entertainment news, Oprah Winfrey is donating ten million
- 29:31Speaker 1: dollars and yeah, she's giving back to America. I love that.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yesterday Oprah tweeted, I am donating ten million dollars overall
- 29:39Speaker 1: to help Americans during this pandemic in cities across the
- 29:43Speaker 1: country and in areas where I grew up. Oprah is
- 29:46Speaker 1: also donating another one million dollars to America's Food Fund,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and in other news, Amazon CEO Steve Jeff Bezos is
- 29:55Speaker 1: donating one hundred million dollars to Feeding America. That's a
- 29:59Speaker 1: non profit organization, man. Yeah, but let me tell you something.
- 30:03Speaker 1: A million dollars is a lot of food open million
- 30:07Speaker 1: plus some million. This guy a hundred million dollars. That's
- 30:12Speaker 1: an amazing amount of money, man. Yeah. Yeah, that's Feeding
- 30:17Speaker 1: America is a nonprofit organization. It's going to help replenish it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: That's the country's food banks. Yeah, that's a lot of money.
- 30:23Speaker 1: And you're not looking at the window worried and like that.
- 30:28Speaker 1: That is a lot of a million. Shut you down.
- 30:31Speaker 1: A million, but it's so good. Million. That's it's kind
- 30:34Speaker 1: of a lot of care. A million, A lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 1: it really is. Thank you, Thank you, thank you. Do
- 30:43Speaker 1: you know that? Do you not? This Amazon guy? Do
- 30:45Speaker 1: you know him? Jeff? I don't know you have We
- 30:50Speaker 1: would think you would get your packages on time, he
- 30:53Speaker 1: bring your stuff. I don't order one time. I only
- 30:59Speaker 1: tried to order stuff something off and then they told
- 31:02Speaker 1: me I couldn't get it too, sadness. So I ain't
- 31:04Speaker 1: ordered because I wanted to see that same day thing
- 31:06Speaker 1: work tomorrow in the morning, you get it, Huh, you
- 31:11Speaker 1: do early in the morning ordering, you can get it
- 31:13Speaker 1: the same day stock if it's in stock. Yeah, if
- 31:17Speaker 1: it's in stock. That's the difference. See, I don't I
- 31:20Speaker 1: don't know what's in stock. What ain't But I only
- 31:23Speaker 1: tried it one time. They ain't. I ain't. But what
- 31:26Speaker 1: is you ordering anyway that you ain't got? I don't
- 31:29Speaker 1: want to see something I don't know. I don't even
- 31:30Speaker 1: know what Tommy, I tried to order Green Vibrates, Green Vibrants.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I tried to order it's it's it's it's it's a
- 31:40Speaker 1: plant based super food. You know, you just mix it
- 31:43Speaker 1: in water. It's really great product. And I tried to
- 31:46Speaker 1: order it online and that was the other day, and
- 31:50Speaker 1: that was like Monday. I think, yeah, I think I
- 31:54Speaker 1: tried to order it Monday or Wednesday, and they told
- 31:56Speaker 1: me I couldn't get it too, saddest, So I ain't
- 31:57Speaker 1: do it tomorrow. It's Saturday. I wanted to see the
- 32:04Speaker 1: same day. The people telling me I couldn't get it
- 32:08Speaker 1: too sad, I said, hell with it. It was Amazon.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Can I say something, You've been all this time without it?
- 32:15Speaker 1: You can't wait two days? Okay, exactly can? And guess
- 32:20Speaker 1: what if you order it before we get off today
- 32:22Speaker 1: or after right after we get off, and it'll be
- 32:25Speaker 1: there tomorrow. Yeah, already about that. Already you got Okay,
- 32:30Speaker 1: I figured out a way to get it. I'm not
- 32:32Speaker 1: waiting to sad. That ain't what I do. Not on Monday,
- 32:35Speaker 1: I asked for something Monday you're talking about, sad. Sad
- 32:38Speaker 1: you got back to the rich and patient right after
- 32:42Speaker 1: the evening. Stay tuned. I can't believe it. So so
- 32:51Speaker 1: you got it, So you're good. So take that Jeff
- 32:54Speaker 1: Basi in Amazon. I mean, you know, I wasn't mad
- 32:57Speaker 1: at it for not braining it, but I wanted to
- 32:59Speaker 1: hear what you always about the same day delivery. So
- 33:01Speaker 1: it depends on what it is. D all right, I'm
- 33:04Speaker 1: senior picture. All right, let's go. It's time for today's headlines. Anyway,
- 33:09Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne shripk you. Thank you very
- 33:13Speaker 1: much everybody. This is answered with the news. Well, we've
- 33:15Speaker 1: now reached a sad and scary milestone. According to the
- 33:18Speaker 1: latest figures, they are now more than one million confirmed
- 33:21Speaker 1: coronavirus cases worldwide, one million and at least fifty thousand
- 33:25Speaker 1: people have died. Some six point six million people applied
- 33:28Speaker 1: for unemployment checks in the United States last week, which
- 33:31Speaker 1: broke the record of the three point three million that
- 33:33Speaker 1: was set the week before that. Because that was a record,
- 33:35Speaker 1: small businesses can apply for small business loans today, just
- 33:38Speaker 1: go to SBA dot gov. The huge Jacob Javitt Center
- 33:42Speaker 1: in Manhattan says it will now take in non acute
- 33:45Speaker 1: coronavirus patients. It's a twenty five hundred bid. The silly
- 33:48Speaker 1: well they set it up that way, it was originally
- 33:50Speaker 1: slated had taken people who were not infected. Federal Bureau
- 33:54Speaker 1: Prison says two more inmates have died of the coronavirus,
- 33:57Speaker 1: which now makes a toll of four federal prisoners who
- 34:00Speaker 1: have died of COVID nineteen, all of them in the
- 34:02Speaker 1: same lockup, the Federal Prison Complex in Oakdale, Louisiana. Authorities
- 34:07Speaker 1: say the eleven Oakdale inmates have tested positive for the
- 34:09Speaker 1: virus so far, as well as four staff members there.
- 34:12Speaker 1: The Bureau of Prisons institutes now a fourteen day lockdown
- 34:15Speaker 1: at its facilities to try to slow down the infection rate.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Decision has been made. The Democratic National Committee has a
- 34:22Speaker 1: signed to postpone this year's nominating convention because of you
- 34:25Speaker 1: guessed at the Corona pandemic. It was scheduled for July,
- 34:29Speaker 1: but it's now going to be rescheduled for the week
- 34:31Speaker 1: of August seventeenth in Milwaukee and during the week and
- 34:34Speaker 1: that actually is the week prior to the Republican convention
- 34:37Speaker 1: in Charlotte, North Carolina. That change comes after the quote
- 34:41Speaker 1: unprecedented health crisis facing the country. Also comes after the
- 34:44Speaker 1: man most likely to read the politi's nomination, Joe Biden,
- 34:48Speaker 1: publicly called for delay during interviews earlier this week. The
- 34:52Speaker 1: Democrats must still monitor the situation because you know, there's
- 34:55Speaker 1: no guarantee that the pandemic will be over or even
- 34:57Speaker 1: close to being over or into control by August. So
- 35:00Speaker 1: we'll see how they go. Sad news. A museum quote
- 35:02Speaker 1: curator who you need to know? This man's name, He
- 35:06Speaker 1: was a curator. He was a writer who was an
- 35:07Speaker 1: outspoken anti racist. His name was Maurice Burger. He has
- 35:11Speaker 1: died at age sixty three. Maurice Burger was said to
- 35:14Speaker 1: have exhibited symptoms of the coronavirus, but was not officially diagnosed.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Burger grew up in the projects on the Lower East
- 35:20Speaker 1: Side of Manhattan. He once wrote in a magazine article
- 35:23Speaker 1: that quote, as a Jew, I have known anti semitism.
- 35:27Speaker 1: As a gay man, I have known homophobia, but neither
- 35:30Speaker 1: has been as relentless as the racism I witnessed growing up,
- 35:34Speaker 1: the steady drumbeat of slights, hostility, and condescension against black people.
- 35:39Speaker 1: The man was Maurice Burger. He spoke out about that
- 35:43Speaker 1: a quote in Pakistan has overturned the murder conviction of
- 35:45Speaker 1: the man found guilty of kidnapping and brutally murdering. Wall
- 35:48Speaker 1: Street Journal reported Daniel Pearl, and apparently the state of
- 35:51Speaker 1: Arizona has just listed golf as an essential activity. Really, guys,
- 35:56Speaker 1: sounds like a movie, Bengelo, Thank man, it sounds just
- 36:04Speaker 1: like a movie and essential stay playing golf. Back to
- 36:07Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening String Show special guests.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Everybody has promised. She's a friend of our she's family members,
- 36:16Speaker 1: she's the California state Senator, and currently she is on
- 36:20Speaker 1: the front lines of the COVID nineteen health crisis and
- 36:23Speaker 1: all of the healthcare crisis. And we're going to go
- 36:26Speaker 1: over a few key points that we should be focused on.
- 36:29Speaker 1: So let's get to a lady and Jenner, please welcome
- 36:32Speaker 1: to the show our friend, a very popular Senator, Kamala Harris. Yes, welcome. Good. So,
- 36:44Speaker 1: how you've been holding up doing all of this? Senator?
- 36:46Speaker 1: You know I'm good. Listen that I feel very blessed.
- 36:50Speaker 1: There are so many folks who are suffering so deeply
- 36:52Speaker 1: right now, and you look at the number of people
- 36:55Speaker 1: on a daily basis that are contracting this virus, that
- 36:57Speaker 1: are dying from the virus. So I stayed in DC
- 37:01Speaker 1: to fight because we got to fight for the folks.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We gotta fight for people. We got to fight for families.
- 37:07Speaker 1: There's so much on the line, and it's immediate. It's
- 37:09Speaker 1: happening right now. Yeah, let me ask you this, because
- 37:12Speaker 1: we've we've discussed this on the show. I want to
- 37:15Speaker 1: talk about the president's reaction to all of this and
- 37:18Speaker 1: the time frame that you feel that it was handled
- 37:21Speaker 1: in How do you feel about the leadership through this
- 37:27Speaker 1: coronavirus crisis right now? Donald Trump failed to lead. This
- 37:32Speaker 1: is not new about him as President of the United States,
- 37:36Speaker 1: but we're talking about a pandemic. You know, government has
- 37:40Speaker 1: three essential functions. It's public safety, public education, and public health.
- 37:45Speaker 1: This is a public health crisis like we have never
- 37:48Speaker 1: seen before. People are dying, dying every day. And this
- 37:53Speaker 1: is an individual who has never understood that there is
- 37:58Speaker 1: a reason that we have of a government, and it
- 38:01Speaker 1: is so that the American people can count on a
- 38:03Speaker 1: safety net, count on leaders to be there in a
- 38:07Speaker 1: moment of crisis. You know, nine to eleven was a
- 38:10Speaker 1: national security crisis. The Great Recession when Wall Street crashed,
- 38:15Speaker 1: that was an economic crisis. This pandemic is a public
- 38:18Speaker 1: health crisis at its core. It has had an impact
- 38:22Speaker 1: and created an economic crisis that at its core it
- 38:24Speaker 1: is a public health crisis. But Steve, look what happened.
- 38:27Speaker 1: From the beginning. This man called it a hoax. From
- 38:30Speaker 1: the beginning, he was laughing and shaking hands when people
- 38:33Speaker 1: were saying social distance. From the beginning, he had the
- 38:37Speaker 1: ability as president of the United States to make sure
- 38:40Speaker 1: that we would have the tests that are necessary to
- 38:43Speaker 1: figure out where the virus is hitting and do what
- 38:47Speaker 1: we can to stem it. The President of the United
- 38:49Speaker 1: States has in his or her hands many tools in
- 38:53Speaker 1: a moment of crisis, including the Defense Production Act, which
- 38:58Speaker 1: says that in a moment of crisis, the president can
- 39:01Speaker 1: order can create incentives for the private sector to manufacture
- 39:06Speaker 1: the things we need to meet the moment of the crisis.
- 39:09Speaker 1: And in this case, ventilator's masks, protective equipment for those
- 39:12Speaker 1: healthcare workers. And this man, Donald Trump, just sat on
- 39:16Speaker 1: that tool that he had. Okay, hey, listen, hang on
- 39:20Speaker 1: right there, Senator hass We'll be right back with more
- 39:23Speaker 1: with Kamala Harris right after this. You're listening, light everybody,
- 39:30Speaker 1: We're back and our special guests this morning, Senator to
- 39:32Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, who was giving us some really enlightening information
- 39:36Speaker 1: from the inside of the government about the handling of
- 39:39Speaker 1: this Corona virus COVID nineteen, I wanted to we were
- 39:44Speaker 1: talking earlier about her views of the President's handling in
- 39:48Speaker 1: this situation. I want I want to go a little
- 39:50Speaker 1: bit further here because is this true or not? It was,
- 39:54Speaker 1: to my understanding We've heard this and talked about this
- 39:56Speaker 1: on the show that in the previous administration that that
- 39:59Speaker 1: was some task force that was formed that would have
- 40:03Speaker 1: helped like in health crisis or something like that, and
- 40:07Speaker 1: that it was disbanded early when he became president. Is
- 40:10Speaker 1: that a true statement with that, have healthed or is
- 40:12Speaker 1: that not a true statement? Well, what there was is
- 40:16Speaker 1: under the Obama administration there was a group of people
- 40:20Speaker 1: who were budgeted to concern themselves with pandemics and that
- 40:26Speaker 1: whole division was essentially bottomed out by this president. Now,
- 40:30Speaker 1: I mean, Steve, remember this guy, Donald Trump came in
- 40:33Speaker 1: office and basically rejected science. He rejected the science of
- 40:36Speaker 1: the climate crisis. He you know, a moment of crisis
- 40:41Speaker 1: requires a real leader to embrace truth, to speak truth,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and act based on truth and fact, and in this
- 40:50Speaker 1: case of science. But from the beginning of this administration,
- 40:54Speaker 1: there has been a rejection of science, including on this point,
- 40:57Speaker 1: which is putting the resources into those group of people
- 41:01Speaker 1: who otherwise would have been paying close attention to what
- 41:04Speaker 1: was happening in China, would have known that it was
- 41:07Speaker 1: going to hit our shores and would have activated what
- 41:11Speaker 1: was necessary in terms of a federal government response to
- 41:14Speaker 1: address it. But let's deal with another aspect of this again.
- 41:18Speaker 1: It's a public health crisis, right This is a virus,
- 41:21Speaker 1: it's a disease. If he had understood his role and
- 41:26Speaker 1: the importance of his role, would have enacted it so
- 41:29Speaker 1: that we would have the ventilators in the hospitals right
- 41:32Speaker 1: now that people so sorely need, that we would have
- 41:35Speaker 1: the masks that those healthcare workers need. This is an
- 41:40Speaker 1: abject display of a lack of leadership. And what we
- 41:43Speaker 1: have seen is as a result of that, the responsibility
- 41:47Speaker 1: has fallen on the mayors. That has fallen on the governors.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I'm very proud of the mayor of San Francisco, the
- 41:53Speaker 1: first black woman to be elected the mayor of the
- 41:56Speaker 1: city in County of San Francisco. She was the first
- 41:58Speaker 1: mayor in the United States to take this seriously to
- 42:02Speaker 1: the point of saying, I'm going to require people to
- 42:04Speaker 1: stay at home. She took a lot of flak for that.
- 42:07Speaker 1: She was the first one to do it. The governor
- 42:10Speaker 1: of California, gavinism was the first governor to say I'm
- 42:13Speaker 1: going to take this seriously and require people to stay
- 42:16Speaker 1: at home. And what we are seeing is as a
- 42:18Speaker 1: result that the spread is not igniting as quickly as
- 42:22Speaker 1: it will or has in other places where supposed leaders
- 42:25Speaker 1: are not taking it seriously. This administration, Donald Trump has
- 42:29Speaker 1: his Attorney general having lawyers in court trying to get
- 42:33Speaker 1: rid of Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, which delivered healthcare
- 42:38Speaker 1: to thirty million people who otherwise would not have had it.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I'm going to repeat, it's a public health crisis. It
- 42:43Speaker 1: requires that people have access to healthcare. The Affordable Care Act,
- 42:47Speaker 1: known as Obamacare, brought healthcare to thirty million people, and
- 42:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump has got lawyers in court trying to get
- 42:54Speaker 1: rid of it. I'll mention another thing. He could activate
- 42:58Speaker 1: open enrollment. Last week, three point three million people filed
- 43:03Speaker 1: for unemployment insurance because they lost their jobs. Today the
- 43:06Speaker 1: report is six point six million people on top of
- 43:09Speaker 1: the three point three million people. This is unheard of.
- 43:11Speaker 1: All these people are out of work. They're gonna lose
- 43:15Speaker 1: most of them whatever health coverage they had. For those
- 43:19Speaker 1: who didn't have health coverage, the president has in his
- 43:22Speaker 1: power the ability to open open enrollments so people can
- 43:25Speaker 1: apply for coverage. Is it be called senator. It would
- 43:31Speaker 1: make him look bad if he did this, Why why
- 43:34Speaker 1: isn't it being done? I think that he doesn't fully
- 43:37Speaker 1: um understand his job. I really do. I believe that
- 43:42Speaker 1: this is somebody who does not job right, which is
- 43:49Speaker 1: why everybody in the midst of this crisis pay attention
- 43:52Speaker 1: to this election coming up, because elections matter. Elections matter.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Hang on right there, Hang on right, Senator Harris, this
- 44:01Speaker 1: is really good. So I gotta keep you for at
- 44:03Speaker 1: least another break because this is the first time that
- 44:06Speaker 1: we're getting inside information from somebody that's in the government,
- 44:10Speaker 1: and I think this is important for people to know,
- 44:13Speaker 1: especially with this this year, this being an election year,
- 44:16Speaker 1: so people are really educated on what's going on. We'll
- 44:19Speaker 1: be back with more from Senator Kamala Harris right after this.
- 44:22Speaker 1: You're listening show, All right, everybody, We're back and our
- 44:27Speaker 1: special guests this morning. It's a very enlightening Senator to
- 44:30Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, this has been a great conversation, man, it's
- 44:33Speaker 1: been most It's all about COVID nineteen and the health
- 44:35Speaker 1: crisis that we're facing in this country. And she's been
- 44:38Speaker 1: giving us some great information and she's feeling and said,
- 44:41Speaker 1: complete your thoughts. So here's the thing in terms of
- 44:43Speaker 1: the work that needs to be done, because I want
- 44:45Speaker 1: to make sure your listeners also know what they should
- 44:47Speaker 1: be demanding of their government. So in the next bill,
- 44:50Speaker 1: which is why I stayed in DC to work on this,
- 44:52Speaker 1: we need to make sure in the next bill there
- 44:54Speaker 1: is money so that treatment is free. Right now, in
- 44:57Speaker 1: the last bill we got in the last couple of bills,
- 44:59Speaker 1: testing is free, but we need the treatment is going
- 45:01Speaker 1: to be free because again public health issue. People lost
- 45:04Speaker 1: their jobs, they're losing their health insurance. We need to
- 45:06Speaker 1: make sure treatment is free. I'm also saying freeze credit
- 45:10Speaker 1: score because folks are going to be strapped and they're
- 45:13Speaker 1: not going to pay all their bills on time. But
- 45:15Speaker 1: let's not make them have to have their credit score
- 45:18Speaker 1: be permanently injured in a way that they'll never be
- 45:20Speaker 1: able to get back upon their feet. I'm also saying
- 45:23Speaker 1: we need more money for small businesses. The fastest growing
- 45:27Speaker 1: population of small business owners are black women, and so
- 45:30Speaker 1: we've got to make sure that the money gets to
- 45:33Speaker 1: our small businesses so they can stay open. They are
- 45:35Speaker 1: often the lifeblood of our community. The business leaders of
- 45:39Speaker 1: the community are the civic leaders and the role models,
- 45:42Speaker 1: and also we need to increase snap benefits, which is
- 45:44Speaker 1: about feeding hungry children. And what we've been fighting for
- 45:48Speaker 1: and didn't get in the last bill is we need
- 45:49Speaker 1: to increase benefits so that more people qualify. And then
- 45:53Speaker 1: here's what I want to say specifically about what we
- 45:55Speaker 1: need to deal with in terms of black folks. This
- 45:58Speaker 1: is a disease that praise on people who have pre
- 46:02Speaker 1: existing health conditions. Okay, people who have sickle cell anemia
- 46:06Speaker 1: are particularly susceptible to a respiratory virus, which is what
- 46:11Speaker 1: the coronavirus is. So what we also need to do
- 46:15Speaker 1: is make sure that our folks know that we really
- 46:18Speaker 1: have to take these precautions seriously and we have to
- 46:23Speaker 1: seek help immediately when there is any sign of it.
- 46:27Speaker 1: We got to make sure that folks that are vulnerable
- 46:29Speaker 1: members of our population are taken care of and protected
- 46:33Speaker 1: and then we seek out help. And the other piece
- 46:36Speaker 1: of it is we have to realize that in terms
- 46:37Speaker 1: of all this working from home, well over fifty percent
- 46:41Speaker 1: of people with a college educations or hire say they
- 46:44Speaker 1: can work at home. People would let them a high
- 46:46Speaker 1: school diploma. Only four percent of them can work at home.
- 46:49Speaker 1: So there are serious disparities that already existed before this pandemic,
- 46:54Speaker 1: that are being exasperated by this pandemic, and in particulars
- 46:57Speaker 1: disparities based on race as a relation to economic status,
- 47:01Speaker 1: health status, educational status. Well, this sounds like a person
- 47:06Speaker 1: with a plan, a person he's really given some thought
- 47:09Speaker 1: to some real h to do processes, and so we
- 47:13Speaker 1: thank you for this information. Today it's gonna go a
- 47:17Speaker 1: long wait, ladies and gentlemen. Sister Kamala Harris, thank you
- 47:19Speaker 1: very much, Senator, to thank presidential to thank you very much.

- 47:52Speaker 1: right now, Buel, hold on tight, We got it for you. Here.
- 47:55Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Excuse me. Subject, he had
- 47:59Speaker 1: a wife and a fake wife. It was a cloth,
- 48:04Speaker 1: it was a cough. I'm sorry. Subject, he had a
- 48:12Speaker 1: real wife and a fake wife, Dear Stephen Shirley. Is
- 48:16Speaker 1: somebody laughing, Carla? Sorry? Okay, be quiet, please, thank you?
- 48:22Speaker 1: Get it all out? Are we ready? Subject? He had
- 48:30Speaker 1: a real wife and a fake wife, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I have been with a liar for seven years, and
- 48:36Speaker 1: I thought we had been married for three years when
- 48:39Speaker 1: we first met. He told me that he is an
- 48:41Speaker 1: only child. Three months into our relationship, I went by
- 48:45Speaker 1: his mom's house to drop something off for him, and
- 48:48Speaker 1: there was a woman sitting on the porch with two
- 48:50Speaker 1: little girls. I got home and asked my man who
- 48:52Speaker 1: the woman and the girls were. He said it was
- 48:54Speaker 1: his sister and her daughters, and they're staying with his
- 48:57Speaker 1: mom for a little while. That was strange because he
- 49:01Speaker 1: had never told me he was an only child. I
- 49:04Speaker 1: never questioned it, and I never saw his sister again.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Wait wait wait wait wait? Huh that because he had
- 49:11Speaker 1: told me that he was an only child. He said
- 49:15Speaker 1: it was his sister. Oh, okay, all right, he said
- 49:19Speaker 1: it was his sister and her daughter's Huh. Yeah, I'm
- 49:23Speaker 1: just telling you. You just misread it, that's all. Okay.
- 49:26Speaker 1: That was strange because he had told me he was
- 49:28Speaker 1: an only child. I never questioned it, and I never
- 49:32Speaker 1: saw his sister again. In twenty seventeen, he proposed and
- 49:36Speaker 1: we had a big wedding. His mom and his sister
- 49:39Speaker 1: didn't come to our wedding. I started asking a lot
- 49:42Speaker 1: of questions, but my husband just blew me off. His
- 49:45Speaker 1: mother had been acting funny since we got engaged, so
- 49:48Speaker 1: I called her one day to ask her what was up.
- 49:51Speaker 1: She told me that she didn't come to our wedding
- 49:54Speaker 1: because she didn't want any parts of that illegal mess.
- 49:57Speaker 1: She said, my husband was already married and his wife
- 50:00Speaker 1: and his daughters live with her because he doesn't help
- 50:04Speaker 1: them out financially. I felt foolish and realized my marriage
- 50:08Speaker 1: is a sham. I put him out of the house
- 50:11Speaker 1: and I didn't want anything to do with him. He
- 50:14Speaker 1: divorced his wife, but she is still living with his mom. Lately,
- 50:18Speaker 1: he has been begging me to let him come home
- 50:21Speaker 1: so we can start over. I still love him, but
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'll never trust him again. He is willing to do
- 50:27Speaker 1: whatever it takes, and he wants to give me a
- 50:30Speaker 1: real life fairytale wedding this time. What should I do?
- 50:34Speaker 1: You should run and keep running and don't stop. Please,
- 50:39Speaker 1: do not go back to this mess. I mean, you're out,
- 50:42Speaker 1: Stay out. This man's a liar. He lied to you
- 50:44Speaker 1: about everything. He had, a whole wife, whole two daughters, kids, everything.
- 50:50Speaker 1: He said he was an only child and that was
- 50:52Speaker 1: his sister. I don't blame you. How could you ever
- 50:56Speaker 1: trust him? What is the point in getting married and
- 50:58Speaker 1: you can't trust your husband? Do not do this. All
- 51:01Speaker 1: these questions that you were asking the mom and everything
- 51:04Speaker 1: after the fact in him, you should have been asking
- 51:07Speaker 1: those before you got married. I can't believe you didn't
- 51:10Speaker 1: know any of this stuff. No, but definitely not go back.
- 51:14Speaker 1: How should you handle this? A fairytale wedding? No, you
- 51:18Speaker 1: had that already, You really did have that. You said
- 51:21Speaker 1: you had a big wedding and you were in the
- 51:24Speaker 1: middle of all these lies and stuff, so that was
- 51:26Speaker 1: your fairytale. No, he's not the one for you. Keep
- 51:29Speaker 1: it moving, that's what you should do. Steve. I'm so
- 51:33Speaker 1: confused with this letter because this letter has got so
- 51:38Speaker 1: much information missing. Yeah, I've never seen a person in
- 51:43Speaker 1: this type of predicament with this shorter letter. I don't
- 51:47Speaker 1: know where this woman. This is just You've been with
- 51:51Speaker 1: a lie for seven years. You thought you had been
- 51:54Speaker 1: married for three When we first met, he told me
- 51:58Speaker 1: he was the only child. Then you go over. You
- 52:01Speaker 1: went by his mama's how to drop something off of him,
- 52:05Speaker 1: and that was a woman sitting on the porch with
- 52:07Speaker 1: two little girls. You ain't speak, You ain't hey, how
- 52:11Speaker 1: you doing? You just walked up on these people's porch.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Ain't say nothing. I got home and asked my man
- 52:16Speaker 1: who the woman was and the girl was. He said
- 52:20Speaker 1: it was his sister and her daughters. They were staying
- 52:24Speaker 1: with his mom for a little while. But that's strange
- 52:28Speaker 1: because he had told me he was the only child.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I mean, right the whole up. You ain't saying nothing.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Whoa you told me you were only child? What you mean?
- 52:36Speaker 1: That's your sister and then her two daughter? See that
- 52:39Speaker 1: right there? You but you ain't say nothing. I never
- 52:41Speaker 1: questioned it, as most women would. Wait a minute, I
- 52:45Speaker 1: thought you were an only child. So you have a sister?
- 52:48Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, but we aren't cool or something
- 52:50Speaker 1: like that. Give him a chance to tell another lie.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh my city, we just don't speak anyway.
- 52:58Speaker 1: That was strange because he had told me he was
- 53:00Speaker 1: on child. I never questioned it. And I never saw
- 53:03Speaker 1: his sister again. Then in twenty seventeen, he proposed we
- 53:07Speaker 1: had a big wedd his mama and his sister didn't
- 53:12Speaker 1: come to the wedding. Now you started asking a lot
- 53:17Speaker 1: of questions, but my husband just blew me off. His
- 53:19Speaker 1: mother had been acting funny since we got engaged, so
- 53:22Speaker 1: I called one day to ask her what was up.
- 53:25Speaker 1: She told me she didn't come to the wed because
- 53:27Speaker 1: she didn't want any part of this illegal mess. She said,
- 53:31Speaker 1: my husband was already married, had a wife and huge
- 53:36Speaker 1: and his married and his wife and daughters lived with
- 53:40Speaker 1: her because he don't help him out financially. What jeans
- 53:46Speaker 1: was the people you saw on the porch when you
- 53:49Speaker 1: went to drop something off before you got married, that
- 53:52Speaker 1: you didn't speak to, and you did, you had all
- 53:55Speaker 1: this information before. All right, we'll be back. I got
- 53:59Speaker 1: more for you ye. Part two of Steve's response coming
- 54:01Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. He had
- 54:04Speaker 1: a real wife and a fake wife. Will get back
- 54:06Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 54:12Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. He had a
- 54:15Speaker 1: real wife and a fake wife. Okay, this this foolishness.
- 54:19Speaker 1: She dating his lyne dude. She's been talking with him
- 54:23Speaker 1: saying he was the only child. Before they got married,
- 54:25Speaker 1: he dropped something off at his mama's house. It was
- 54:27Speaker 1: a woman sitting on the portrud two little girls. She
- 54:29Speaker 1: didn't speak to the woman and two girls. He came
- 54:32Speaker 1: went on in saying something to his mama, dropped it off,
- 54:35Speaker 1: came back and mentioned to him, Hey, it was a
- 54:37Speaker 1: woman sitting on your mama's porch with these two little girls. Oh,
- 54:40Speaker 1: that's my sister and her two kids. They staying with us.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She gotta get on her feet. Hold up, didn't you
- 54:48Speaker 1: tell me you was an only child? Now? She didn't
- 54:51Speaker 1: do none of that. She let that go. So then
- 54:54Speaker 1: they're getting married and his wife and his sister don't
- 54:58Speaker 1: come to the wed Then she started asking questions, your
- 55:02Speaker 1: husband blew it off. His mama had been acting funny
- 55:05Speaker 1: since it got engaged. So then one day she called
- 55:08Speaker 1: and asking what was up. She told me she ain't
- 55:10Speaker 1: come to the wedding because she didn't want any part
- 55:13Speaker 1: of this illegal mess. She said, my husband was already
- 55:17Speaker 1: married and his wife and his daughters lived with her
- 55:22Speaker 1: because he doesn't help them out financially. What what? This
- 55:33Speaker 1: was the same three people you saw on the porch.
- 55:37Speaker 1: You didn't think it was strange that some grown ass
- 55:40Speaker 1: woman and these two kids was on his mama's porch.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Then when he told you was his sister, after he
- 55:46Speaker 1: said he was only child, see you all this information
- 55:49Speaker 1: was in your faith. Then I felt foolish and realized,
- 55:52Speaker 1: my marriage is a sham. Ain't that's against the law.
- 55:56Speaker 1: You can't marry somebody and you've already been married. That's
- 56:00Speaker 1: a criminal offense. You can go to jail for that.
- 56:05Speaker 1: This ain't. No. I felt my marriage was a sham.
- 56:08Speaker 1: That's a that's a law. You can't do that. Yeah,
- 56:13Speaker 1: you can't do whatever that is. You can't do it.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Who wants two wives? I felt foolish. You realize my
- 56:21Speaker 1: marriage is a sham. I put him out of the
- 56:23Speaker 1: house and I didn't want anything to do with him.
- 56:27Speaker 1: He divorced his wife. Wait a minute, so he divorced
- 56:30Speaker 1: his wife. After that, he divorced his wife, But y'all
- 56:36Speaker 1: had a wedding. This is illegal. But she's still living
- 56:41Speaker 1: with his mom. What what? So? His mama still don't
- 56:49Speaker 1: like you? And lately he's been begging me to let
- 56:53Speaker 1: him come home so we can start over. I still
- 56:56Speaker 1: love him, but I'll never trust him again. You still
- 56:59Speaker 1: love what he is willing to do whatever it takes,
- 57:03Speaker 1: and he wants to give me a real fairy tale
- 57:05Speaker 1: wed in this time, Like Shirley said, you've had a
- 57:08Speaker 1: big wedding. Who wait a minute, who you think coming
- 57:12Speaker 1: to the next one? See fairytale winds have fairy tales
- 57:18Speaker 1: in it. Yeah, this's been a nightmare. So now what
- 57:21Speaker 1: fairytale wedding you finn't have? Off this nightmare? Ass you are?
- 57:26Speaker 1: You were illegally married to this man and made a
- 57:30Speaker 1: sham and a mockery of yourself and the institution of
- 57:33Speaker 1: marriage by him standing there he said, violes in front
- 57:37Speaker 1: of a preacher in a church and made a vow
- 57:41Speaker 1: to the Lord. Now he didn't told you he gonna
- 57:43Speaker 1: do whatever if he will lie in a church standing
- 57:47Speaker 1: up that but already be married, but have enough golf
- 57:50Speaker 1: golf gall in him to have a wife living at
- 57:55Speaker 1: his mama's house with two children that he don't take
- 57:59Speaker 1: care of. Why would you even want a man like this?
- 58:04Speaker 1: He denies his children, And now you want this man?
- 58:10Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? What's wrong with you? This is
- 58:14Speaker 1: your chance. You have a clean out. God got you
- 58:18Speaker 1: out of this clean you found out it was a sham.
- 58:22Speaker 1: You can get yours annulled. It's perfectly fine. You can
- 58:26Speaker 1: have knowled this because it's illegal anyway. He could go
- 58:29Speaker 1: to jail for this. Your mother in law know it's illegal.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Who is this woman sitting over here taking this? She's
- 58:37Speaker 1: had to take this to the point where she got
- 58:39Speaker 1: to live with his mama and her two kids, and
- 58:43Speaker 1: you still ain't In his letter said he's doing nothing
- 58:46Speaker 1: financially for him because they still lived that. So at
- 58:51Speaker 1: what point does he man up and take care of
- 58:53Speaker 1: his children? There's no point in it. But I'll never
- 58:57Speaker 1: trust him again. This is not a good person. I
- 59:01Speaker 1: really don't understand where we're at with it. If he's
- 59:04Speaker 1: willing to do whatever he takes to give me a
- 59:06Speaker 1: real fit. Note, you need to take care of your children, dog,
- 59:10Speaker 1: and you need to do right by this woman that
- 59:12Speaker 1: you may marry you, but because you don't support them financially,
- 59:16Speaker 1: they got to live with your mother. So now you
- 59:18Speaker 1: don't put this burden on your mother like you ain't

- 59:24Speaker 1: this mama. This dude don't care about this lady. This
- 59:27Speaker 1: dude don't care about these two kids. This dude don't
- 59:30Speaker 1: give damn about you. He cared about hisself. What should
- 59:34Speaker 1: I do? Shirley told you what to do? Run rollerblade
- 59:40Speaker 1: the skateboard, cut your ass a bite, will both left,
- 59:47Speaker 1: hitch hike, hitch hike, passport, run escape, do whatever you
- 59:54Speaker 1: want to do. Bungee jump, but have a rope that
- 59:57Speaker 1: don't take you back up to the bridge. Show ass
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: out of here. Let's go, all right? Thank you, Steve,

- 1:00:17Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour. Actor
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Samuel L. Jackson has a message for everyone. We'll talk
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to well. Our
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: friend and family member Samuel L. Jackson, actor Extraordinary, read
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: a bedtime story with a pandemic message, and it had
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: advice for everyone. Take a listen, stay at the roller
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: is spreading. There's no joke, it's no time to the
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: way you can fight It is simple, my friends, to
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: stay there at home. Now technic I'm not a doctor,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: but listen when I read the poem, so here I
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: am Sam and Jackson imploring you keep your ass at
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: home if you want things to get back to normal.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Don't panic, Just use your dome, wash your hands, stop
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: touching your face, and stay at home. It's no time
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to gamble. Look around. You're not at a casino. Just
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: stay home. As if your name was strengthen Quarantino. I
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: love it, I love it. J Junior didn't do better.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Yeah it was all right, all right, yeah Tarantino, I
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: need it. I had the same thing I was saying,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: but he just did it first. But I mean, it's
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: all right. You put no no, Let Sam have his
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: little spotlight. I inspire people. Oh but where can we
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: get one from you? Monday? Monday it is I mean,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: had a lot of bleeping with rame words should have
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: done so. It was cursing, which made with Sam. Now
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: cussing made for a great point. Excellent work. You just
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: gonna switch teams, Oh my god, greatness. Though I've never
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: liked none of your point. They don't rhyme. You're gonna
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: say that like just no no, no, said we quarantine.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: What you're gonna do? I can't do nothing because I
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: can't come over that. We can talk about it, but
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: godly talking about it. You know you don't like the poem,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: but you ain't got no poem where we're at. Yeah,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: now I'm gonna have one though, I'm gonna have one.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Sam sam Alman, come up. We're coming for him. You're coming,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I'm coming for him. Now he gonna take my spotlight.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Played all of the show like I ain't here. Okay,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. America's top
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: doctor needs around the clock security. Now we'll talk about
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to doctor Anthony Fauci,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: the country's top medical expert on the coronavirus pandemic, and
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he's a member we all know this of President Donald
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Trump's coronavirus task for us. Well, who knew this. I mean,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he's facing threats now to his personal safety and now
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: doctor Faulci requires personal security from law enforcement at all times,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: including at his home. That's a shame. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: he's really popular. Now, he's a country's top doctor, so
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: the concern for his personal welfare is an issue now doctor.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: The truth is always silenced, you know. Yeah, and yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: they're blaming him for this epidemic. God, he ain't make well.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I know, some people are crazy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. His
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: guidance to Trump for the country to remain as lockdown
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: as possible to help control the virus spread has not
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: earned him fans um among you know some of these
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: fervent ring voices. Okay, yeah, yeah, it's a shame. That's
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: He's one of the great solid voices that we have
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: that has kind of reigned in the seriousness and put
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: some real models together for us to really look at
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: it and understand the seriousness of this problem. Right, It's
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: very simple, man. We have got to stay home. It's
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: no way around us to help flatten the curve. Period.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: That's what has to happen. You can't catch it if
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you ain't around nobody that's got it. Damn makes sense
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: now it no, it don't. It makes you and it
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: makes sense right, And those of you who have it
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that don't know you have it can't spread it because
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you don't show symptoms. So we got to stay home
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: until we get more people tested and we get these
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: stations set up like career in China had, which we
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: should have been done because we're the United States of
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: America and we have some of the smartest people in
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the world in terms of doctors and science and stuff
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: like that. But for us not to do it is
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: because of two reasons. Because we all capitalistic society, money
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: comes before the people, and our leadership did not do
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: the right thing in the early going. So we are
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: thirty days behind at least two weeks behind where we
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: could have been had we not acted like it was
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: a hoax and it wasn't that serious and it wasn't
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: coming over and it's China saying that monks, and of
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: course Mitch McConnell said he was going through the impeachment,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: so you know, that took away time that he could
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: have been devoting to taking care of the coronavirus. And
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you know what happen, Well, if we had a TASH
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: team that pandemic, you know, if we had that, you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: know that we had that. Yeah, he disbanded it. Yeah,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: the president did. Yeah, Obama put one in place. Yeah,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: he could have been working with them when he took
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: office day one, three three, four years ago. But everything
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Obama did anything Obama's name on it. Yep, so here
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: we are. Here we are and thinking he should have
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: put Trump's name on every damn thing before he left
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and everything which stayed in. Yeah, but hopefully doctor yeah,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: doctor Fauci will stay safe and you know his security
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: will make sure of that. I'm sure. Yeah, yeah, they
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: say they even Marshals working. Yeah, Marshal's right at his
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: home and everything. Yeah, that's I mean, the top doctor
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: in the country. He's the one that's giving us the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: truth and we need the right and the president has
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: to defer to him because he's the one that knows.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. Yeah. Now he's getting death. When your doctor
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: grabs his head when you're talking, you know you lying right, right? Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I forgot about that. Me and Jay like, oh, just
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: say that saying all right? Coming up more music and
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: some trending topics and headlines at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show while. One of
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: the more intriguing storylines of Netflix's docu series Tiger King
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: involves the disappearance of Carrol's Carol Baskin's ex husband Don Lewis.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: The series implies that Carol Baskin killed We talked about
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: every day, but you get it. You don't get it.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: It must be that good. No, I haven't seen that, Steve.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Hell yeah. And when he set understand, Hey, we do
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: the pranks every day. Oh, I know what you want
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: to talk about, Tommy, But I just figured it out.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: You you and Jay have a series for community. Oh man,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Jay is Yeah, that's what it is. Steve, I figured
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: it out. That's what he wanted to talk about. Really good.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Though he ain't seen it yet. Now I sent it
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: to him, but he said he ain't seen it yet.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: But Jay and I have a show on social media
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that you have to watch. It's a T and J
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: coronavirus stay at home comedy show. You do when I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: want to miss this. It's the only show you can
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: watch in your draws or bass naked. This is an
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: incredible shows. First show up, eleven thousand hits. Baby, we
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: did get boom, all right? All right? And Junior you're
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: coming up, Yeah yeah, Ignacy, that's funny. All right. We'll
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: trending news coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Morning Show. Steve we're
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: all at home now. We're obeying the said home orders,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: of course, but Jay and the guys, you all have
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: a list of things to list you get. Just stopped
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: doing this is very important. Stop ordering stuff off the Amazon.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: You don't need another damn thing. Tommy eating it. That's
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: me too, Tommy, I got boxes. I ain't even open it.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: In fact, I told Amazon, man, if you pass his
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: damn house one more time and not give me something,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: all of that damn Trump, you gonna have problems, partner,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: sot and but let me tell you something. Let me
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: tell you what I learned. You need to stop doing
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: with Amazon. Stop thinking the ass is coming to day.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: You can stop that. That's the only reason I wanted
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: to get on it because I heard it was the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: same day delivery. Buddy. Now ask because stop getting mad
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: because they ain't coming to day. It is not crime.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: It's sometimes Amazon. Sometimes that what most of these shop.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Stop in this Amazon. Stop thinking every truck that passed
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: the house it's for you, all right, nothing, okay? Something man,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: oh man, stop this, this this one was for my kids.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Stop opening that refrigerator thinking you just ate ten minutes ago,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: so quick coming in there like you stopping. Okay, stop that. Stop. Come,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. It's really irritating to me. Stop
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: calling me and asking me what I'm doing. Everybody doing
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: the same now, I'm mean Hire playing the lake. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: mean him praying the Lakers were down ten. Yeah, we're
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: doing that. Look ahead, this is your house. You pay
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: the rent. Stop making them babies clean up all that
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: damn so that's not what they're there for. They're not
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: there to wash. Wouldn't do and clean up the sidewalk
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and stop working as child lady with you ass and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: do something your damn self, leading babies alone, all right,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: to do that? Girl up? That was all right here,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: war right here. Stop wishing your backyard was bigger. That's
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: just the ward you got. You got what you got. Yes,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: the pocket just knocked that fist down back then, that's
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: stay over. That's stay y'all. Please stop looking at me
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: like you want to have six I don't want to
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: do nothing, Okay, coming up. It's the last break of
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the day and break of the day and the last
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: break of the week. I don't have nothing going up.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, closing remarked, forty nine minutes after that's coming up,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: to right after that, you're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Here we are on this Friday, the last break of
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: the day, the last last break of the day, the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: last break of the week. You know what I'm like,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: But you really try to run that past me, like,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say it right. You started off so
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: well and then you know, fell off a little bit. Jay,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: You didn't miss it for a while. I just miss
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: it on that what y'all talking about listening to get
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: up and everything? Yea, So, Junior, is it true that
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: we might get a poem from you next week? Oh
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: after Samuel Jackson. Oh show y'all fence get a poem? Oh? Absolutely?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Oh wow? Oh, this weekend's all I'm working on the day.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: It was okay, Samuel is good. It is good greatness.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Cuss right on time. Trying to get with him. That's
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: all you trying to do. We have to play Samuels,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: then play your Samuel. Don't want to go after Junior,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: so let him go first first, close it out, might
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: as well. Ah, hey, here we go. Well we look
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: forward Monday, Junior. You got all weekend and work on it,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: so here we go. Yeah, seventy two hours of prep
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: here we go. All right, y'all listen, um to leave
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: you on a positive note before we ended this weekend, Uh,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I want to remind all of you that God has
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: given all of us the power of choice. All of us.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: We were born with it. We are the only creatures
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: that He created on Earth of all the different species
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: that has complete power of choice. We get to decide.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: You get to decide if you're going to be a
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: positive person or a negative person. You get to decide
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: if you are going to allow joy to occupy the
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: space in your mind or if you're gonna let depression
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: because joy and depression cannot reside in the same space.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: There's a choice oftentimes that we have. Now I'm not
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: talking about people who are diagnosed with clinical depression, so
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: please don't don't don't don't text me about that. The
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: average person has the power of choice. You can have
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: the right to choose to have a hopeful outlook or
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you can sit there and choose to predict a miserable outcome.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: You actually get to decide because He gave us that
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: power of choice. And see, I want you to understand
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: something here that during this time that we're all facing
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: the law of attraction is in place and is in
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: full effect for all of us right now. It's in
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: full effect. How you view this can determine how you
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: come out of this, How you see this, how you
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: predict this, how you talk about this, how you accept it,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: how you rationalize it away, how you All of this
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: determines a great deal. A lot of our decisions that
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: we make today will affect tomorrow in some shape, form
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: or fashion. So now what I'm saying to you is
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: that the law of attraction is in effect. So if
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you choose to have a positive view of this entire situation,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: you stand a very good chance of coming out of
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: this thing positively if you take the constant, the constant
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: negative approach to this, like you're the only one on
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: lockdown because you're not. You're the only one not going
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to work because you're not. You're not the only one
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: who can't get out the house. You're not. You're not
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: the only one who can't see your lover or your friends.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: You're not. You're not the only one that's struggling with
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: moments of claustrophobia in this You're not. So it depends
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: on how you look at this. I choose because I
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: understand the law of attraction to take a positive approach
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: to this. I choose to make the best of this.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I choose to use this as a time of not confinement.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: It is a confinement. Were all in quarantine. We got that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: But I choose to view this as a moment of
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: ease and refreshment. If you're if you if you're out
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: of work right now, you're out of work. We can't
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: We can't change that right now until this band is lifted.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: But let's look at the other side of this. You
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: can't go anywhere, you can't do anything, Okay, then guess what.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Take it easy? Work for all of us can be
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: tiring and exhausting at times. Then how about we refresh ourselves.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: So instead of looking at it in a negative way,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I've decided to take this in a positive way, to
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: use this as a moment of ease and refreshment in
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: my life, to get back in tune with my spouse,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: to get more in tune with my spouse. I've taken
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: some time to get physically fit. I've taken some time
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to pay attention to nutrition and diet. You don't have
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: to you can eat whatever you want. I'm just saying
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: what I chose to do. Whatever it is you choose
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: to do that's positive. You should take this time and
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: do it because the time is here. It's how we
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: use this time that is going to affect us when
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: we come through this time. I'm telling you, man, whatever
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: decisions you are making in the midst of this time,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: we'll have an effect on you and how you're living
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: when we get through this time. Because we have a choice.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: So if I were you, everybody, because the law of
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: attraction is real, please choose to take the positive approach
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: as opposed to the negative approach, because when we come
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: out of this there is a positive on the other side.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Believe it or not, it really really is. Those are
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Hey, y'all, have a great weekend. Take
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: care of yourself. I love you. Seeing your money God
