- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your thaw uh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, man, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show. Trying to do something with it too, man.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Uh you know, um, I was having a conversation the
- 2:20Speaker 1: other day with a young person and they were telling
- 2:25Speaker 1: me how they felt that their life was stuck, that
- 2:28Speaker 1: their life was in a rut, that they didn't know
- 2:33Speaker 1: what to do next. And one of the things that
- 2:36Speaker 1: was causing them this sadness or this depression. I mean,
- 2:40Speaker 1: they really really into something right now. One of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: things that was causing it was the fact that they
- 2:48Speaker 1: had made a list of things they wanted to accomplish
- 2:52Speaker 1: by a certain age, and that age. They just had
- 2:58Speaker 1: a birthday recently and they were looking at the list
- 3:04Speaker 1: and the list hadn't been fulfilled, and because that list
- 3:09Speaker 1: hadn't been fulfilled, they were really really sad about it,
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know. Um one of the things that they had
- 3:19Speaker 1: on the list was marriage, kids, And I don't know
- 3:25Speaker 1: everything else that was on the list, but that was
- 3:27Speaker 1: one of them. And because she had reached a certain
- 3:31Speaker 1: age and she wasn't married, and she didn't have the kids,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and she had just celebrated her birthday, she's gone into
- 3:38Speaker 1: this mode of sadness, whereas really really taking a toll
- 3:44Speaker 1: on her and us. As I was learning about her situation,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I was thinking about it, and I just wanted to
- 3:54Speaker 1: share this with you all this morning. That one of
- 3:58Speaker 1: the things about making a list about what you want,
- 4:00Speaker 1: which I happen to be a proponent of, I do
- 4:03Speaker 1: it myself. I have people have dream boards, I have
- 4:07Speaker 1: a gold sheet I have. I've been doing it for years.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's a it's a wonderful way to set goals and
- 4:14Speaker 1: to keep it in front of you as a constant reminder.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I always go over this goal list every day,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you know, I mean I go of it all the
- 4:21Speaker 1: time every day. Sometimes I miss a day here and there,
- 4:25Speaker 1: but mostly every day I pulled my gold sheet out
- 4:28Speaker 1: and I look at it, I read it. So I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was going to these rallies and I was learning about,
- 4:33Speaker 1: you know, people who were successful in how they kept
- 4:36Speaker 1: their mind writing positive. And one of the things I
- 4:38Speaker 1: learned was to make these dream boards, these lists, these
- 4:41Speaker 1: gold sheets. And in making a gold sheet, and you
- 4:46Speaker 1: make the sheet according to what you want, think about
- 4:51Speaker 1: one thing when you made your gold sheet, about what
- 4:53Speaker 1: you want it? Does your goal sheet have on it
- 4:57Speaker 1: what God wants from you? Did you ask in any
- 5:01Speaker 1: of this what was His will in your life? You know? Look, man,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what we want oftentimes is not what He wants for us.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And you know, if you're fighting against what you were
- 5:14Speaker 1: created for, if you're fighting against his will, I mean,
- 5:19Speaker 1: what do you want to happen? See? Don't be so
- 5:22Speaker 1: hard on yourself when you look at your goal sheet
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you look at what you've not become what you
- 5:28Speaker 1: thought was a great idea. Don't be so hard on
- 5:30Speaker 1: yourself because you just made a minded mistake. As do
- 5:33Speaker 1: most people, we oftentimes make our goals and set our
- 5:37Speaker 1: goals up without ever considering what is it that God
- 5:40Speaker 1: wants from us? We keep talking about what we want
- 5:43Speaker 1: without ever finding out and knowing what it is God
- 5:46Speaker 1: wants for us. Well, guess what, man, Maybe you're fighting
- 5:49Speaker 1: against the grain. Maybe you're just a salmon heading upstream.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That's a tough fight upstream. Not all salmons get up
- 5:56Speaker 1: to the spawning grounds, you know. Some of them don't
- 5:58Speaker 1: make it upstream, you know. But all of them, nearly
- 6:02Speaker 1: all of them, except the ones that's killed by prey.
- 6:04Speaker 1: When they're spawned, they go out to the ocean. That's cool,
- 6:07Speaker 1: because you're going because you're going with the grain. You're
- 6:09Speaker 1: going downstream, you're going with the flow. That's But when
- 6:13Speaker 1: it's time to go against the grain, it's tough. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: a lot of us have just been going against the
- 6:18Speaker 1: grain for all of these years. But you know what, listen, man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I did it. I know a lot of people who
- 6:24Speaker 1: did it. Very few people get it right from the
- 6:28Speaker 1: very beginning. Man, you got to stumble through life sometimes
- 6:32Speaker 1: sometimes you got to fall through life. You gotta make
- 6:34Speaker 1: a lot of mistakes, man, But these mistakes are not failures.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You know, when you fail at something, don't look at
- 6:40Speaker 1: it as a failure. Don't look at yourself as a
- 6:42Speaker 1: failure because you're thirty and you and your goals ain't
- 6:45Speaker 1: reach that you had on your list. That was your list.
- 6:48Speaker 1: What about the things that's going right. Stop looking at
- 6:52Speaker 1: what you're not, Take some time out and thank God
- 6:55Speaker 1: for what you are. How about the fact that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: keep waking up to be thirty. You know you get
- 6:59Speaker 1: depressed about these birthdays. You really want to throw yourself
- 7:02Speaker 1: in some depression. Miss a birthday. You really got a problem.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Now look at where you are. You keep reaching birthdays.
- 7:10Speaker 1: That's a glorious blessing. You keep waking up. You got
- 7:13Speaker 1: your health, You've accomplished something. Something on your list is done.
- 7:17Speaker 1: People spend too much time on the negative side, and
- 7:20Speaker 1: you're just throwing yourself into depression. So what you want
- 7:23Speaker 1: to be married by a certain age and you wanted
- 7:25Speaker 1: to have kids, Okay, cool, you could have done all
- 7:28Speaker 1: that with the wrong person. There's a blessing in not
- 7:31Speaker 1: being married to the wrong person. There's a blessing in
- 7:34Speaker 1: not having kids and nobody to help you raise it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: There's a blessing in that man. You're talking to somebody
- 7:39Speaker 1: who can tell it to you. You can marry the
- 7:41Speaker 1: wrong person. If you want to, I'm telling you you're
- 7:44Speaker 1: gonna be up in some mess you can't count on.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So instead of being angry because you're not married, you
- 7:50Speaker 1: don't have kids, why don't you thank God demand Maybe
- 7:53Speaker 1: he spared you from some misery here. Maybe you could
- 7:55Speaker 1: have married the wrong person. Maybe you have kids and
- 7:57Speaker 1: you're not really ready to be a mother or a father.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You gotta look at the upside, man, Quit looking at
- 8:03Speaker 1: what you don't have. Take some time to thank God
- 8:05Speaker 1: for what you do have. When you do that, you
- 8:08Speaker 1: make more room for blessings to flow into your life.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm not saying how God thinks, because I really don't know,
- 8:14Speaker 1: but I'm telling you, if a person comes to me
- 8:18Speaker 1: and I always give a person something and they never
- 8:21Speaker 1: appear grateful, or they never say thank you, please, no,
- 8:24Speaker 1: you can quit coming to me now. I don't know
- 8:28Speaker 1: that's how God works because I've gone back to him
- 8:31Speaker 1: several times without being grateful of thanking him, and he's
- 8:34Speaker 1: feeling my basket up again. So I really think he's
- 8:38Speaker 1: not like that. But I can't make the call for sure.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But I think at one point in time, me, just
- 8:45Speaker 1: just me talking, i'd be a little ticked off at
- 8:47Speaker 1: somebody who was always taking, taking, taking, and never showing
- 8:51Speaker 1: any gratitude. At one point in time, I would just
- 8:54Speaker 1: stop the flow of the take. You know, you just
- 8:57Speaker 1: you can't take no more from me. That's what I
- 8:59Speaker 1: would do. Now. I'm not calling it like that because
- 9:02Speaker 1: I ain't him, but I know he's merciful. He's full
- 9:05Speaker 1: of goodness and here and there, and he'll forgive you.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And thank God he does that because he's shown enough
- 9:10Speaker 1: done it for me. But wow, man, take some time
- 9:13Speaker 1: out today and be grateful for what you have. Stop
- 9:16Speaker 1: complaining about where you're not, and think about where you are,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and then take it from there. And then next time
- 9:22Speaker 1: you make a list, make sure on that list you
- 9:24Speaker 1: have God's will. What does he want for you? God
- 9:28Speaker 1: create give everybody a gift and a talent. Some of
- 9:30Speaker 1: us never apply gifts and talents. We head off in
- 9:33Speaker 1: another direction. Then you wonder why your life ain't where
- 9:36Speaker 1: it's supposed to be. Have you ever thought about what
- 9:38Speaker 1: God gifted you to do? Have you ever thought about
- 9:41Speaker 1: doing that? And stip? Skip what you want? I wanted
- 9:43Speaker 1: to play in the NBA, but I gotta tell you
- 9:45Speaker 1: something at dribbling and shooting and running all at one time,
- 9:50Speaker 1: throwing me off a little bit. You know, it's so
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm doing what I do. It's pretty cool. You can
- 9:55Speaker 1: look at it that way. Okay, you're listening. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: may have your undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve

- 14:46Speaker 1: he got to love me. You wake me up on
- 14:49Speaker 1: my birthday. Man, I go outside and you gave me
- 14:51Speaker 1: a rainbow. And I take a picture in front of

- 16:24Speaker 1: to say thank you, thank you as how you do that,
- 16:27Speaker 1: But that's what he was. I'm figuring it first. Oh,
- 16:33Speaker 1: at the gate, at the gate. Look, yeah, can't touch
- 16:39Speaker 1: me to a little bit, I said, what he why
- 16:41Speaker 1: didn't you reply that? That is his point? Thank you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I ain't a minute or not. You know, you gotta
- 16:46Speaker 1: wait seat time back, you gotta lit some time, go back,
- 16:51Speaker 1: wrong with you. We're not doing this twenty one fund out,
- 16:55Speaker 1: He ad, minute now, I feel like you don't kind

- 17:08Speaker 1: She let me check. At least mine is on the air,
- 17:11Speaker 1: he texts mine. He didn't put it on social media,
- 17:13Speaker 1: he texted to that's that's even more genuine. Yeah right,
- 17:20Speaker 1: So me doing it on the air in front of
- 17:21Speaker 1: everybody's even more like real, how grateful I really am.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Let's move on, Yeah, let's let's let's move on. Let's
- 17:31Speaker 1: let's go back to the Ya. Your little your little
- 17:33Speaker 1: god daughter's birthday is on the same day as yours. So, Carla,
- 17:36Speaker 1: how is that Tasha's birthday? My daughter is thirteen years old? Yeah, yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 1: we had a great birthday skating party. We rented out
- 17:49Speaker 1: the skating ring COVID friendly, so you know, other public
- 17:53Speaker 1: wouldn't be there for her and her friends party buzz.
- 17:56Speaker 1: They massed up and I'm exhausted, and there you have
- 18:03Speaker 1: party with thirteen year olds. Thank you, thank you, thank
- 18:07Speaker 1: you very much, thank you very much, thank you very much.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So did uh? Did you? Tom? Thank Tommy for his No? No, surely, don't, don't.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Don't real wait, I'm asking you. I'm asking you. Sure
- 18:27Speaker 1: do you want to do the segment we're supposed to
- 18:29Speaker 1: be doing? Come? I just said, let's go. No, I mean,
- 18:34Speaker 1: you know, I mean I could tell her she was
- 18:36Speaker 1: gonna be a little messy, so I just tried to
- 18:38Speaker 1: stop a little. All right, here we go. This one's
- 18:43Speaker 1: from Hansen in Tallahassee. My wife and I have been
- 18:46Speaker 1: debating about date night. We've been married for three years
- 18:49Speaker 1: and I always take her to place as she likes,
- 18:51Speaker 1: and every time I asked her to do something I
- 18:53Speaker 1: like to do, she says no. I told her the
- 18:55Speaker 1: dating is a mutual thing and she doesn't think so.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I wanted her to go fishing with me, and she
- 19:00Speaker 1: said unless it was on a nice boat with cocktails,
- 19:04Speaker 1: she wasn't going. She told me to take my homeboys fishing.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I told her she's being selfish, but she doesn't see it.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Am I wrong for asking her to compromise? Well, a
- 19:15Speaker 1: date night, ain't. I ain't never heard of fishing as
- 19:18Speaker 1: a date night. Don't be honest with your dog. You
- 19:23Speaker 1: know a date night? You won't you ask her what
- 19:25Speaker 1: her idea of a date night is, because that's probably
- 19:28Speaker 1: what she wants. She said, a big boat with cocktails.
- 19:32Speaker 1: It's what she'll do. I don't. You don't sound like
- 19:34Speaker 1: you're fitting to do that? Said, take your homeboys fishing. Okay,
- 19:41Speaker 1: she don't want to go fishing. You know a lot
- 19:43Speaker 1: of women women that don't fish ain't really fish people.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We don't get it. You ask me and Tommy go fishing.
- 19:50Speaker 1: We wish you all right. Here's another one. Polo and Hampton,
- 19:55Speaker 1: Virginia says. I'm in my mid twenties and I'm living
- 19:57Speaker 1: with my aunt, my mom's sister, and her husband. My
- 20:01Speaker 1: aunt works long hours and her husband is laid off.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I worked eight to five daily, but last week I
- 20:06Speaker 1: took a day off to get my car serviced. I
- 20:08Speaker 1: got up early, dropped my car off, and I went
- 20:10Speaker 1: home and got back in bed. My uncle did not
- 20:13Speaker 1: see my car, so I guess he thought I was gone.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I woke up and caught him cuddled on the couch
- 20:19Speaker 1: with the neighbor. I went got back in my bed.
- 20:22Speaker 1: My uncle said to keep it between us. If I
- 20:25Speaker 1: want to keep staying there, I'm ready to move anyway.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So should I tell that? Well, so, ain't your business? Dog?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Keep between you and him? Can you stay out of that?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Stay out of that, young souldier, stay out of that
- 20:41Speaker 1: unless you want your uncle to whoop your ass. That's
- 20:45Speaker 1: highly possible. Just get out and oh all right, that's crazy,
- 20:50Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Cielo. Coming up next, the nephew
- 20:52Speaker 1: would run that prank back right after this you're listening
- 20:57Speaker 1: show coming up as its top of the hour. Miss
- 21:01Speaker 1: Anna's standing by with National News as we count down
- 21:04Speaker 1: to the Biden Harris inauguration. Yeah, you so excited for this?
- 21:09Speaker 1: Plus an entertainment news hip hop artist applies got rid
- 21:13Speaker 1: of his gold teeth and now he's showing off his
- 21:15Speaker 1: pearly whites. We'll talk about story. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you
- 21:19Speaker 1: gotta see it. He's cute. All these stories at the
- 21:22Speaker 1: top of the hour coming up. But right now, the
- 21:23Speaker 1: nephew is here, would run that prank back. What you
- 21:26Speaker 1: got for his neff baby weight, baby weight. Let's go. Hello, Hello,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a trainer please. Yeah, this is
- 21:38Speaker 1: traina TRAINA. My name is Ernest, Ernest Murphy down here
- 21:42Speaker 1: at the bus bond with from the school district. Your
- 21:45Speaker 1: son is j Devin. Am I right? Yeah, okay, No,
- 21:51Speaker 1: he's in the sixth grade. I think anything okay, yeah, yeah, yea,
- 21:55Speaker 1: everything is fine. I think he's on he rids bus
- 21:58Speaker 1: ninety Bus ninety three. Does he ride US ninety three? Yeah, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 1: he does. Okay. So now the school board has implemented
- 22:08Speaker 1: a new rule, and um, we're having to call a
- 22:13Speaker 1: lot of parents and let them know about the new
- 22:15Speaker 1: rule for us as far as the buses are concerned. Now,
- 22:19Speaker 1: from my understanding, each child that gets on the bus
- 22:23Speaker 1: has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five pounds.
- 22:27Speaker 1: That's what the new rule that is implemented by the board.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Did you say that again, Each child that gets on
- 22:38Speaker 1: the bus has to weigh less than one hundred and
- 22:41Speaker 1: twenty five pounds. I don't understand. I don't understand. So
- 22:47Speaker 1: what's okay? So what does what does that mean? So
- 22:50Speaker 1: starting on Monday, starting on Monday. What they're gonna do.
- 22:53Speaker 1: If they're gonna the bus driver will have a scale
- 22:57Speaker 1: and he will wait the kids they get on on
- 23:00Speaker 1: the bus. I understand, man, the doctor, like I say,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm calling, I'm calling every patent that they think you're
- 23:07Speaker 1: gonna you gonna weigh my child before he gets on
- 23:11Speaker 1: the bus. That's that's what the new rule. That's what
- 23:13Speaker 1: the new rules. And if he's over one twenty five,
- 23:16Speaker 1: then he he'll either have to work, you have to
- 23:18Speaker 1: take him to school, which I have a job. Okay,
- 23:22Speaker 1: I have a job. I thought it gonna take my
- 23:24Speaker 1: kids in school, but I don't. That's what the bus
- 23:26Speaker 1: is for. That's what my tax dollars pay for us. Right.
- 23:31Speaker 1: But the reasoning, the rationale behind this, Okay, let me
- 23:34Speaker 1: tell you what's going on. From what they're saying, the
- 23:37Speaker 1: weight of these children is weighing down these transmissions on
- 23:42Speaker 1: this bus, on these bus transmission, the transmission cannot take
- 23:46Speaker 1: all of that. So they are limiting the weight of
- 23:50Speaker 1: each child. So now how much does that discrimination? I
- 23:54Speaker 1: think that's discrimination? But over is he over one hundred
- 23:59Speaker 1: and twenty five pounds? He? Okay, he is? And you
- 24:06Speaker 1: you're probably gonna have to take your son to school?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Are you gonna have to walk? He probably need to
- 24:11Speaker 1: walk to school if he already hunting twenty five pounds?
- 24:17Speaker 1: What the ac are you talking about? A man? I'm
- 24:23Speaker 1: all I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your son
- 24:26Speaker 1: can overweight one hundred twenty five, you know, maybe the
- 24:30Speaker 1: exercise are doing good when like I said that, the
- 24:32Speaker 1: school is not gonna allow him on the plus. But sir,
- 24:36Speaker 1: I will not accept this. I who do I need
- 24:40Speaker 1: to call? Is there a manager? Is there a city's
- 24:42Speaker 1: council member? I mean, this is seriously the most up
- 24:47Speaker 1: discriminatory practice I've ever heard of. It doesn't even make sense.
- 24:50Speaker 1: You're talking about a child. I understand, but we're talking
- 24:53Speaker 1: about a child and way more than a grown person.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You your son. I need to get what is your name? Sir?
- 24:58Speaker 1: Tell me your name again. My my name is Ernest.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'm down here at the bus ball I would like
- 25:04Speaker 1: to speak with the supervisor. Like now, you do not
- 25:09Speaker 1: get to speak to my about my child that way.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You get to speak to any kid that way. You
- 25:13Speaker 1: should not be working at a school if that is
- 25:15Speaker 1: your attitude. I'm no, I don't work at the school.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I work at the bus ball. I'm down here at
- 25:20Speaker 1: the bus ball and they gave me youth that they
- 25:23Speaker 1: right because you're saying he's over behind in twenty five pick.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I am an absolute shock. This is so okay. So
- 25:33Speaker 1: do you have a fantic? I mean, do you have scuba?
- 25:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry, do you have a big chatter? Listen? What
- 25:38Speaker 1: my child looks like, how much he weighs is none
- 25:42Speaker 1: of your business. I'm going to call the school. They
- 25:45Speaker 1: can't be working with your company. If this is the
- 25:47Speaker 1: way that you treat people and you talk about children,
- 25:51Speaker 1: this face doesn't matter here. I guess what they're doing
- 25:56Speaker 1: is this is the way of them approaching obesity. You know, whoever,
- 26:02Speaker 1: whoever over one, they might walk it all you're start Listen, listen,
- 26:07Speaker 1: that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Okay,
- 26:12Speaker 1: I have to work. My son is getting on that
- 26:15Speaker 1: and I'm going to call the schoolboard and should not
- 26:17Speaker 1: be working with you another bust company. I don't know,
- 26:20Speaker 1: but I'm calling the city. I will call the members
- 26:23Speaker 1: they need to call. But you need to give me
- 26:24Speaker 1: a supervisor's name right now, right now? Do you think
- 26:28Speaker 1: you need to start cooking different post, So Devin, don't
- 26:31Speaker 1: have you know, maybe maybe it's starts at home and
- 26:34Speaker 1: what you're feeding everybody. You know, I am calling the supervisor,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm calling the the city, I'm calling the school. I'm
- 26:44Speaker 1: going to get so fired, like I can't even believe
- 26:47Speaker 1: that you're allowed to make this call like our other parents.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Okay with this, I'm called, Well you on your way
- 26:55Speaker 1: to work in the morning, Trina, do you listen to
- 26:59Speaker 1: the Steve Harman on the show? Oh my god, yes
- 27:04Speaker 1: I do, Tommy from the Steve Harvey. Yes, your cousin
- 27:13Speaker 1: Vicky got me the prank polk call you baby. Oh
- 27:16Speaker 1: my god, I'm gonna yeah. I mean I was like,
- 27:22Speaker 1: oh my god, I love Steve Harvey. I love you ilsabe, God,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you gotta tell me this baby train up? What is
- 27:32Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 27:36Speaker 1: the lane, Steve Harvey's. And then you have it. You
- 27:46Speaker 1: can't people's babies babies way Tommy when you said the
- 27:52Speaker 1: baby way too much? What I'm pretty sure you had
- 27:58Speaker 1: explain to her what you were saying, and you kept
- 28:00Speaker 1: saying the baby way too much. This is the baby.
- 28:06Speaker 1: The baby wear a lot. That's what the prank was about.
- 28:09Speaker 1: How baby wear a lot the baby, the baby eat
- 28:12Speaker 1: a lot of proteins. The baby, the baby get a protein.
- 28:25Speaker 1: It's what I'm trying to tell you. When the baby
- 28:27Speaker 1: get on they way the baby man, Well, stop stop
- 28:34Speaker 1: throwing huay on the baby something pulling the protein powder
- 28:41Speaker 1: on the bay is a protein powder of time. Stop
- 28:45Speaker 1: throwing the protein powder on the baby. Pin he get
- 28:47Speaker 1: on the button. I'm not what to hear he talking
- 28:51Speaker 1: about quay the baby way too much. Quay is a protein.
- 28:56Speaker 1: The baby wear a lot. That's why we're wearing the baby.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Can the baby get on the bus, and that's why
- 29:03Speaker 1: the baby might have to quote? Oh oh okay. Coming
- 29:08Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Entertainment and National News.
- 29:11Speaker 1: We'll work it out. Farming up right after this. You're
- 29:15Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, we all
- 29:21Speaker 1: love hip hop artist Flies, especially his Instagram page. Anyway,
- 29:27Speaker 1: Plies is forty four years old, and he recently posted
- 29:30Speaker 1: a selfie with his new smile and uh, huh, would
- 29:33Speaker 1: you say, Junior, He's he's forty four. Wow, Yeah, showing
- 29:40Speaker 1: off his brand new smile, his brand new pearly pearly
- 29:43Speaker 1: white Sands, the gold and Yes Plies got rid of
- 29:46Speaker 1: his gold teeth. He had a hilarious funeral for his
- 29:49Speaker 1: gold teeth and buried them in the backyard. Take a
- 29:52Speaker 1: listen to Yes very sad day to day. We all
- 29:57Speaker 1: gat that hit to day to bury my goldchieth finally
- 30:03Speaker 1: did it man, finally took more gold chief for y'all
- 30:07Speaker 1: in a long time coming, playing some sad music. Brolies.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I know he's so funny. Flies also posted that after
- 30:24Speaker 1: his mom saw his new teeth, she said, I got
- 30:27Speaker 1: my baby back. That sweet. That's set right there. Miss.
- 30:35Speaker 1: What's your dick? Yeah? He got sas good. Yeah, it's
- 30:39Speaker 1: really good. Teeth so beautiful. Yeah yeah, yeah, pray little,
- 30:43Speaker 1: I'm about pretty teeth. His his looked great and other
- 30:47Speaker 1: trending hip hop news. Doctor Dre is back home from
- 30:50Speaker 1: the hospital after a week and a half in the
- 30:53Speaker 1: ICU at Cedar Sinai UH. Dre is recovering at home
- 30:57Speaker 1: under the care of multiple medical fessionals who are monitoring
- 31:02Speaker 1: his condition around the clock. Doctors are a bit mystified
- 31:05Speaker 1: by what triggered Drey's brain aneurism, even though he's not
- 31:09Speaker 1: in the clear yet Drey should consider himself very lucky.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Roughly half of the people that experienced brain aneurisms die
- 31:17Speaker 1: as a result, while two out of three survivors are
- 31:19Speaker 1: left with permanent neurogical deficits. Drey also posted a picture
- 31:24Speaker 1: of himself in the studio back to making music. So
- 31:27Speaker 1: that's good news. Okay, wow, yeah, excellent news, quick recovery, right,
- 31:34Speaker 1: because I'm telling you, man, I've never heard of anybody
- 31:37Speaker 1: surviving in anurism. I don't know a lot of people
- 31:40Speaker 1: that had him, but everybody I know had him gone. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 1: I had one friend it's yeah, she survived. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:50Speaker 1: but there is a change. There is a change when
- 31:53Speaker 1: they have them. Usually it's something a little different about him. Well,
- 31:57Speaker 1: you know, with hers, she can't I know one thing,
- 32:01Speaker 1: she can't like ride rides and stuff new those kind
- 32:05Speaker 1: of things like you went to Disney World with her kids.
- 32:07Speaker 1: She can't get on rides and stuff like that. I
- 32:10Speaker 1: quit talking loud. What what if I had a brain
- 32:18Speaker 1: in rhythm? I stopped. I stopped talking loud. We're not
- 32:21Speaker 1: throw this into nothing else. Yeah, Well you know how
- 32:28Speaker 1: you you know you have you ever talked real loud?
- 32:31Speaker 1: And veins come in your head when you talk real loud. Oh,
- 32:35Speaker 1: I know some people who I would I would reduce
- 32:38Speaker 1: anything I thought and it's not medical. Yeah, but I
- 32:43Speaker 1: would reduce anything I thought would bring on another one.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I'll be cussing people out, whispering. Get your hands away
- 32:49Speaker 1: from him. But you meant what you said. I ain't
- 32:55Speaker 1: gonna tell you. I'm not gonna tell you no more.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Now you're mad. This is your level of b Damn right,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'm mad. Oh, I'm you. Damn right, I'm mad. I'm upset.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's ham You better get on out of here. Now.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You ain't gonna believe what I'm about to do. All right, repeated?
- 33:16Speaker 1: All right, come on, let's get to miss Anne. Ladies
- 33:21Speaker 1: and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp. Okay, thanks guys, this is
- 33:24Speaker 1: a trip with the news. Okay, here we go with
- 33:26Speaker 1: a Capitol Hill riot in mine. US defense officials say
- 33:29Speaker 1: they vetted all twenty five thousand or so National Guard
- 33:32Speaker 1: troopers in DC just in case there might be some
- 33:34Speaker 1: pro Trump extremists among them. All this underscoring, of course,
- 33:38Speaker 1: the very real possibility that some of the very people
- 33:40Speaker 1: assigned to protect those attending the inauguration could actually present
- 33:43Speaker 1: a serious threat to the new president and the other
- 33:46Speaker 1: VIPs in attendance. The arrest keep coming. By the way,
- 33:49Speaker 1: the FBI now says they've arrested this guy in New
- 33:52Speaker 1: Mexico County. He's a rural commissioner in New Mexico County,
- 33:55Speaker 1: for his alleged role in the Capitol Hill riot. I
- 33:58Speaker 1: already say Corey Griffin is the founder of a far
- 34:00Speaker 1: right group called Cowboys for Trump. I guess he doesn't
- 34:03Speaker 1: know the original Cowboys were black and Latino anyway, that
- 34:06Speaker 1: he posted a lot of videos, including one where he
- 34:08Speaker 1: brags about all the guns he was bringing with him
- 34:10Speaker 1: to the inauguration. I've got a three fifty seven Henry
- 34:14Speaker 1: lab Action that I've got in the trunk in my car,
- 34:17Speaker 1: and I've got a three fifty seven single Action that
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'll have underneath the front seat on my rise. Yeah.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Griffin repeats a lot of baseless right wing theories, like
- 34:26Speaker 1: China stole the election for Donald Trump and stuff like that.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The Washington Post reporting that surprisingly at least some of
- 34:32Speaker 1: the all two cops off duty cops who took part
- 34:35Speaker 1: in the Capolo Hill ride a couple of weeks back,
- 34:37Speaker 1: are actually being turned in to the FBI by fellow
- 34:40Speaker 1: police officers, an apparent remarkable crack in the legendary blue
- 34:44Speaker 1: wall of science where cops never turned on their own.
- 34:46Speaker 1: One Metro DC officers says dodge. Daniel Hodges is his name.
- 34:51Speaker 1: He tells CNN that the mostly white Trump supporters actually
- 34:54Speaker 1: thought that all of the police were on this side.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It would just walk right up and say we're here
- 34:59Speaker 1: to congress, and then the police would say all right,
- 35:02Speaker 1: let's go, and we'd all walk in the hands and
- 35:03Speaker 1: hands and just do whatever they wanted. But he says
- 35:06Speaker 1: he didn't do what they wanted, and he got pinned
- 35:08Speaker 1: behind a door and beaten up with his own nightstick
- 35:11Speaker 1: because of it. He was very seriously hurt. The National
- 35:14Speaker 1: Museum of African American Music opened in Nashville yesterday and
- 35:19Speaker 1: sad news out of the entertainment world. Before I get there,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I need to tell you the man that Donald Trump
- 35:24Speaker 1: appointed to head the US Census Bureau will soon be
- 35:27Speaker 1: looking for a new gig, more than eleven months before
- 35:30Speaker 1: his time in the position actually ends. Reports are that
- 35:32Speaker 1: Stephen Dillingham will step down tomorrow Wednesday. A little over
- 35:36Speaker 1: a week ago, the public learned that there was a
- 35:38Speaker 1: whistleblower accusing this guy Dillingham of trying to rush an
- 35:42Speaker 1: incomplete census count out on the number of non citizens.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Sad news. Yes, out of the out of the entertainment world.
- 35:48Speaker 1: One of the most legendary record producers, Phil Spector, has died.
- 35:52Speaker 1: He was serving nineteen years from murder of an actress.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Phil Spector died of COVID. He was famous for his
- 35:56Speaker 1: so called wall of sound style that you saw in
- 35:59Speaker 1: the movie What's Love Got to Do with It? That
- 36:04Speaker 1: was called the wall of Sound. He had everything going
- 36:06Speaker 1: the same time. Phil Spector was eighty one. Now back
- 36:08Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve
- 36:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Both the Mega millions and the powerball
- 36:15Speaker 1: jackpot have climbed to a combined total of get this now,
- 36:19Speaker 1: one point six billion with a B dollars. So Tonight's
- 36:24Speaker 1: Mega million. Yeah, so, tonight's Mega million drawing has a
- 36:28Speaker 1: projected eight hundred and fifty million dollars jack pot tomorrow
- 36:32Speaker 1: a project million. We'll be up for grabs on Wednesday,
- 36:37Speaker 1: Powerball drawing. That one right there, Lord, hey, hey, lord,
- 36:41Speaker 1: matter of fact, hey, let me just make this now
- 36:43Speaker 1: for me right now. If you get that to me,
- 36:47Speaker 1: I probably won't ask him nothing for about six months
- 36:53Speaker 1: because you're gonna need some low What are you gonna
- 36:56Speaker 1: spend that on? All that? I ain't gonna spend it,
- 37:01Speaker 1: but I'm gonna need I'm gonna need to talk to
- 37:03Speaker 1: him in about six months because there's so many people
- 37:05Speaker 1: are gonna be looking for me, you know. Five Well,
- 37:09Speaker 1: you know I'm gonna do own a lot of people. Well,
- 37:14Speaker 1: first of all, First of all, I'm going out out
- 37:16Speaker 1: of here. Just know that wherever I am, I ain't
- 37:19Speaker 1: gonna be that no more. As soon as I win
- 37:22Speaker 1: the eight hundred million wherever I ain't me and the
- 37:26Speaker 1: ticket is gone. Now I'm gonna go down to the
- 37:30Speaker 1: Lottery Commission with the ticket. But I'm gonna go down
- 37:34Speaker 1: that mask own, Yeah, and then I'm gonna go ahead.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I'm turning the ticket in they verified, I'm gonna have
- 37:44Speaker 1: my wife. I ain't gonna say nothing to nobody. I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: gonna go kiss all the kids and the grandkids tell
- 37:50Speaker 1: them by, you know, and then I don't know, but
- 37:55Speaker 1: out of here, call it not gonna be here, gonna disappear,
- 37:59Speaker 1: for I'm gonna get here, not gonna be in America.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Not gonna be in America. What about your the show,
- 38:06Speaker 1: our show, Steve Harvey Morning Show? What about that? You're
- 38:10Speaker 1: just gonna leave us eight hundred million horse show? Get
- 38:15Speaker 1: your life up, You're just gonna leave eight hundred millions?

- 38:25Speaker 1: gonna make something at yourself. Got us? Oh that's a
- 38:30Speaker 1: little nephew. Yeah, see right there, that's how you get
- 38:34Speaker 1: your money. See time, tell me that's how you get
- 38:37Speaker 1: your money? Cut down two hundred thousand. That type comment
- 38:40Speaker 1: right there? Can I just have times? How you get
- 38:42Speaker 1: your ass bumped right on down? What you're saying eight
- 38:48Speaker 1: hundred million? It's it one million out of eight hundred million.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Uh huh, y'all ain't my cues? Well listen most for
- 38:59Speaker 1: cash for the cash. I'm good. I ain't even had
- 39:03Speaker 1: a meeting before you saying something. I'm good as Tommy.
- 39:09Speaker 1: He don't speak but a group he is. He's salty
- 39:14Speaker 1: about something that happened or didn't happen a weekend. You know, Yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 1: it don't about to come to see you, Tim All right,
- 39:22Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we're

- 39:32Speaker 1: listening to the Steven Show. Well, tomorrow is the inauguration
- 39:38Speaker 1: for PRESIDENTY like Joe Biden and Vice PRESIDENTY like Kamala Harris.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Thank you lord. As we all know, the cleaning crew
- 39:47Speaker 1: has been working hard at the White House. We also
- 39:49Speaker 1: hear that the Trump's didn't share bedrooms, but the Biden
- 39:52Speaker 1: to do so. There are now new mattresses being ordered.

- 41:38Speaker 1: hold me one them happy meal though, hold me one
- 41:40Speaker 1: them you take it out there. Yeah, but I got
- 41:44Speaker 1: to go on the tracks. Uh, sir, sir, I hear
- 41:47Speaker 1: you're saying a lot of things. What are some of
- 41:49Speaker 1: the situations that you're running up into on you? We
- 41:52Speaker 1: got a big bathroom, is a mess. That bathroom is
- 41:56Speaker 1: a mess. We got to get it in. We got
- 41:59Speaker 1: the close rides if we got to take take the
- 42:01Speaker 1: whole target out that ball rong, yeah, unbolted from the
- 42:06Speaker 1: floor and take that out of that. Yeah, I don't.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I think he must have sat here all night, every night.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I don't know what he was doing here, Ye? Sure.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Second question, is it true that the Trumps were not
- 42:20Speaker 1: sharing bedrooms? Have you found that to be? No, they
- 42:23Speaker 1: was not. They was not that she lived away on
- 42:26Speaker 1: the other side and he lived on on on this
- 42:29Speaker 1: side of me and you standing on but she on
- 42:31Speaker 1: the other side. I don't. I don't think they ever
- 42:34Speaker 1: saw each other from where it looked like. But yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: they don't. And what is take that bad skin rug
- 42:42Speaker 1: to the cleaner. Yeah, it's got to go to the cleaner,
- 42:46Speaker 1: Go ahead? Not what what? What is it? What did
- 42:49Speaker 1: you looking for? Have you heard anything from the Bidens?
- 42:52Speaker 1: Are they looking to keep anything at all? No? Right
- 42:56Speaker 1: now they want us to come in here and clothe
- 42:58Speaker 1: rocks everything Fred from top to bottom the whole house.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Now that the oval out has been ammonia. I know
- 43:06Speaker 1: you ain't never heard that, but it's been ammonia. We
- 43:08Speaker 1: have ammonia the whole oval office, and it's gonna take
- 43:12Speaker 1: a minute by the week before he can go in there.
- 43:14Speaker 1: He can't work from it, Sir, sir, sir, is that
- 43:18Speaker 1: a proven fact that cro Rocks gets rid of COVID?
- 43:21Speaker 1: Is that a factors? It's it's something you're doing on
- 43:24Speaker 1: your own. Uh Now, Biden told us to take the
- 43:28Speaker 1: vaccine and rubbing it all on the wall. That's what
- 43:30Speaker 1: we're doing to get this out of here. We're rubbing
- 43:35Speaker 1: that on all the walls. All of the vaccine is
- 43:37Speaker 1: on all the wall. That's what that's going on. Yeah, why, sir, sir, sir,
- 43:45Speaker 1: let me ask you, have you taken the vaccine yourself?
- 43:48Speaker 1: They gave us the vaccine? Whatnot? Let me quit line.
- 43:51Speaker 1: When we got here, that was a case of vaccines
- 43:54Speaker 1: once again in the bathroom. So me and my boys
- 43:57Speaker 1: went on and just shot ourselves with that. So we yeah,
- 44:01Speaker 1: we had it so to speak, you know. Uh so yeah,
- 44:05Speaker 1: we we we've fascinated ourselves basically off the record, sir, tomorrow,
- 44:10Speaker 1: can back with you tomorrow and discussed with some more
- 44:14Speaker 1: details of this with your crew tomorrow. I'm Jake Trap.
- 44:20Speaker 1: We'll be back with a right Coming up next, it
- 44:25Speaker 1: will be the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:27Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 44:33Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. Right about four
- 44:35Speaker 1: minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today. The subject's
- 44:39Speaker 1: romantic comedies are ruining me. We'll get into that a
- 44:43Speaker 1: little later, but right now, the nephew is here with
- 44:45Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Nef.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Surely today's title is called lashing out? Lashing out, let's
- 44:56Speaker 1: go cad. Hey, it's lashing out. How can we lash out?
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Bianca. This is Bianca. Hey, listen,
- 45:04Speaker 1: my name is Brian. Um my wife Jamie come up
- 45:07Speaker 1: there and get our eyelashes done? Is uh? Who who's
- 45:10Speaker 1: the owner of this place? I am Brian? What's going on? Okay?
- 45:16Speaker 1: You be? You're Bianca? Are you the one that owned
- 45:17Speaker 1: the place? I'm Bianca. I'm the owner. We opened about
- 45:21Speaker 1: a year and a half ago. Proud, happy, black owned,
- 45:24Speaker 1: women owned, woman owned establishment. What can I do for you? Okay,
- 45:28Speaker 1: here's the deal. I'm sick and tired of my wife
- 45:31Speaker 1: coming up there and then when she get back home,
- 45:34Speaker 1: she got these thick eyelashes on and they long as hell,
- 45:38Speaker 1: you know, I mean, it's these eyelashes thinking on somebody's mustash.
- 45:41Speaker 1: This is a damn shame, you know not, and told
- 45:44Speaker 1: her to take this hold up, Brian. Now, I may
- 45:49Speaker 1: or may not be the person doing it. But whoever,
- 45:51Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure probably that sounds familiar. But whoever, we
- 45:55Speaker 1: have a lot of customers. But whoever comes in here,
- 45:57Speaker 1: they picked their lashes. We we you know, we collaborate, right,
- 46:00Speaker 1: but the girls are saying what they want done. They
- 46:03Speaker 1: pick it. So if they're thick, they're thick because they
- 46:06Speaker 1: want them thick. Okay, they're too thick. And then and
- 46:09Speaker 1: they're too long. Your our ladges ain't supposed to be
- 46:12Speaker 1: sticking away. I pass your nose. That's a damn shame.
- 46:15Speaker 1: But let me let me tell you what I'm getting
- 46:17Speaker 1: at though. Here's here's here's my reason for calling. If
- 46:20Speaker 1: my wife come home one Moti say what can you
- 46:24Speaker 1: simmer down? Because I mean, I'm running a business here,
- 46:27Speaker 1: and you sound crazy. They can hear you through the
- 46:30Speaker 1: fall and the girls they're looking at me in the chair.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on. I don't know. Can
- 46:34Speaker 1: you calm down? You're loud and screaming. All I'm saying is,
- 46:39Speaker 1: if my wife come home with the long thick as
- 46:41Speaker 1: our lasses again, I'm gonna come up there and raise
- 46:44Speaker 1: holy hell at that damn place. I'm telling you the
- 46:46Speaker 1: truth about that. You're not What are you talking about?
- 46:49Speaker 1: Why are you threatening me? You are not coming up here,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I'm coming up there. You if my wife coming home
- 46:54Speaker 1: with them thick as long as our lashes again, I
- 46:56Speaker 1: am no, You're not coming up here. We just open
- 46:59Speaker 1: the ear and half ago. We are doing that. We
- 47:02Speaker 1: don't need no drama for nobody. You need to talk
- 47:04Speaker 1: to your wife, fix your marriage. Don't come out here
- 47:07Speaker 1: taking up Ain't nothing wrong with my marriage. The only
- 47:09Speaker 1: thing wrong with my marriage is these damn thinking as
- 47:11Speaker 1: I lasted and they too long. That's the Why are you?
- 47:14Speaker 1: Why are you calling me with this? See now I'm
- 47:17Speaker 1: yell because I'm calling because this is where she got
- 47:19Speaker 1: her eyelashes done. Oh my god, Oh my god. Didn't
- 47:23Speaker 1: you need to talk to your wife? Okay, I need
- 47:26Speaker 1: to calm down. I'm running a business here. What you're
- 47:29Speaker 1: trying to do sabotazing me? What you work for the car,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I ain't trying to sabotage number. I tell you what
- 47:33Speaker 1: if you come home with the long thinking as I
- 47:34Speaker 1: last again, I'm gonna come up there and I'm gonna
- 47:36Speaker 1: find all the violation of cold and everything building colds
- 47:40Speaker 1: and I will get you shut down if we don't
- 47:42Speaker 1: stop these long thinking as I last. Okay, Brian, I'm
- 47:46Speaker 1: from the south Side, So mother, you need to back up,
- 47:50Speaker 1: because now you're threatening my livelieshood. Yes, I'm gonna go
- 47:53Speaker 1: there with you. You're threatening my livelihood. You're threatening the
- 47:57Speaker 1: jobs of so many girls here. What are he's doing.
- 48:00Speaker 1: You need to talk to your wife and you need
- 48:01Speaker 1: to back the fox up. And I am sorry to courage.
- 48:04Speaker 1: We try to spit class here, but now you're making
- 48:07Speaker 1: me lash out at from lash out, But you need
- 48:11Speaker 1: to back up. This is my job and people have jobs.
- 48:14Speaker 1: What are you going threatening to come up here? I'm
- 48:17Speaker 1: gonna call the cops on you and you will not
- 48:19Speaker 1: be able to come up here, and we will not
- 48:20Speaker 1: let yours get her her her eyelashes on. And you
- 48:23Speaker 1: need to fix your marriage because you got some anger issues.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Clearly you pissed off at your wife and you're calling
- 48:29Speaker 1: us threatening to ruin our business? Ryan, What is your
- 48:32Speaker 1: wife's name? What my wife's name is? My wife name
- 48:34Speaker 1: is Jamie? Okay, because anybody is here, no Jamie or
- 48:39Speaker 1: do Jamie's lashes? Okay, it's like four girls raising their
- 48:44Speaker 1: hand because everybody goes to somebody different. So I don't
- 48:47Speaker 1: know who it does Jamie's lashes. But you got some
- 48:51Speaker 1: anger issues? Okay, I ain't got no anger issue. The
- 48:54Speaker 1: only problem I god is my wife having some long,
- 48:56Speaker 1: thick eyelashes and they further out than her. No been
- 49:00Speaker 1: thinking into somebody's much there. That's what I got a
- 49:02Speaker 1: problem with. Okay, you know what, Jamie just needs to
- 49:05Speaker 1: leave your because if you got an issue, call her.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Why are you calling us? It's people they put Why
- 49:12Speaker 1: wouldn't I call the people that put the thick laches on?
- 49:15Speaker 1: Why wouldn't I? But first of all, you need to
- 49:18Speaker 1: talk to Jamie and send her up here. We're gonna
- 49:20Speaker 1: tell her that to leave your first of all, thinking
- 49:24Speaker 1: of all, I don't can I help you? You are
- 49:27Speaker 1: interrupting my grinding. Okay, we are interrupting our grinding, and

- 49:35Speaker 1: Can't you go do some work? Go and talk to
- 49:37Speaker 1: your wife and seax your marriage. You know what, you
- 49:40Speaker 1: know what I tell you what I'll tell you. I'll
- 49:41Speaker 1: tell you what. Bon I'll tell you what. You're not
- 49:43Speaker 1: trying to fix. No, no, no, you're trying to fix
- 49:45Speaker 1: the problem. I'll be up there. I'll be up there
- 49:48Speaker 1: and I will bring somebody that will shut that. He
- 49:51Speaker 1: called the cops right now, call him now, tell them
- 49:54Speaker 1: somebody who's coming up here? And they threatening us at
- 49:57Speaker 1: last out call see the three girls calling right now.

- 51:49Speaker 1: you know that one was a pretty good one right there.
- 51:51Speaker 1: That one was pretty good. But she was cussing his

- 54:15Speaker 1: one right here, right now. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:18Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Thank you. Nephew's subject Romantic comedies are ruining me. Dear
- 54:25Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm a woman in my late twenties and
- 54:28Speaker 1: my man is thirty two years old. He has had
- 54:31Speaker 1: only one other girlfriend, and he's inexperienced in being romantic.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I'm all about the romance, so I'm really into romantic comedies,
- 54:40Speaker 1: but I think they're ruining my love life. I love
- 54:44Speaker 1: my boyfriend. He is so many great qualities, but when
- 54:47Speaker 1: it comes to romancing me and wooing me, he falls short.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I'm very particular in how I like things, so I
- 54:54Speaker 1: think he's developed a mindset that it's better to do
- 54:57Speaker 1: nothing at all than to do something that I will
- 55:00Speaker 1: not like. I would love for him to do something
- 55:02Speaker 1: elaborate for our first anniversary, which is coming up soon,
- 55:06Speaker 1: but nothing too grand. I like candlelit dinners, but he
- 55:10Speaker 1: likes rose petals and plastic flowers all on the floor.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I like hotels with a jacuzzi in the room, but
- 55:16Speaker 1: he likes those awful motels with heart shaped beds. I
- 55:20Speaker 1: like fine chocolates, but he gets those gigantic heart shaped
- 55:24Speaker 1: boxes of chocolates. I like long, romantic drives, but he's
- 55:28Speaker 1: got a white He got a white stretched limo the
- 55:31Speaker 1: last time. I told him to surprise me. For me,
- 55:34Speaker 1: there's a fine line between romantic and cheesy. I want
- 55:38Speaker 1: a romantic experience tailored to me and my personality, not
- 55:41Speaker 1: a generic waste of money. I bring these things up
- 55:45Speaker 1: casually in conversation, but I think he's worried about displeasing me,
- 55:49Speaker 1: so he's not going to put forth any effort at
- 55:51Speaker 1: all anymore. I'm a romantic one, and for our date nights,
- 55:55Speaker 1: I suggest mood lighting, the candles, the food and the
- 55:59Speaker 1: music what I like, and I've been making sure I'm
- 56:02Speaker 1: comfortable for our romantic moments. I thought by now he'd
- 56:05Speaker 1: be able to take the hint, but I don't think
- 56:08Speaker 1: he gets it, So how do I get him to
- 56:10Speaker 1: romance me like on the movies? Please help? What? Okay,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you're probably if you want him to romance you like
- 56:19Speaker 1: they romance women in the movies, you're probably gonna have
- 56:22Speaker 1: to actually be in a movie with someone other than
- 56:25Speaker 1: your man for that to happen. I just think you
- 56:28Speaker 1: need to get your head out of the movie. So okay,
- 56:31Speaker 1: because it's the movie, it's not real. It's not reality.
- 56:34Speaker 1: This is real life, and that's not what you have
- 56:39Speaker 1: and you cannot change him. Okay. You obviously have two
- 56:43Speaker 1: different ideas of what it means to be romantic, and
- 56:46Speaker 1: when he does do something, it seems like you complain
- 56:49Speaker 1: about it. I think you should at least give him
- 56:51Speaker 1: an e for effort, because he has done some things.
- 56:56Speaker 1: You just didn't like what he did. I don't blame
- 56:59Speaker 1: you on the plass to flowers, though I really don't.
- 57:02Speaker 1: That's kind of crazy. That isn't anything to break up about, though,
- 57:07Speaker 1: this is what you're going through. This has nothing to
- 57:09Speaker 1: break up about. You say you'd love him, and you
- 57:11Speaker 1: say he has so many great qualities. So I say
- 57:14Speaker 1: to you, stop comparing him to the men in the movies.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Those are scripted movies. They have writers to write those
- 57:21Speaker 1: lines and for them to do the things that they
- 57:23Speaker 1: do in the movies. Okay, you got to stop comparing
- 57:26Speaker 1: him to that and the fairy tales and all of that,
- 57:29Speaker 1: and realize that you have a man with little or
- 57:32Speaker 1: no experience in the romance area. But like you say,
- 57:35Speaker 1: he's got a lot of good qualities, a lot of
- 57:37Speaker 1: great qualities, So concentrate on those, all right, And he
- 57:41Speaker 1: can't reach your mind, so you're gonna have to tell
- 57:43Speaker 1: him outright instead of dropping hints. Steve Well, romantic comedies
- 57:52Speaker 1: are ruining me. First of all, just let me say this.
- 57:55Speaker 1: You're tripping. Yeah, she really is. You're tripping. Shirley's exactly right.
- 58:00Speaker 1: This is reality. This ain't no movie. Can't nobody do
- 58:05Speaker 1: that all that that's in the movie. I'm one of
- 58:08Speaker 1: the greatest players ever lived and born into this game.
- 58:12Speaker 1: And even I can't do this all the damn time.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I can do it every nine and the end. We
- 58:17Speaker 1: can't abody to do this all the time. I got
- 58:19Speaker 1: to go to work, I gotta paid the bills. I
- 58:23Speaker 1: got responsibility. I'm a man. I forget things sometimes I
- 58:27Speaker 1: don't see it, but you're tripping on. And see you're
- 58:30Speaker 1: tripping off through the letter. You and your late twenties,
- 58:33Speaker 1: your man thirty two, Now you're trying to put it off.
- 58:36Speaker 1: He only had one other girlfriend, and he's inexperienced at
- 58:39Speaker 1: being romantic. I'm all about romance, so I'm really in
- 58:43Speaker 1: the romantic comedies, but I don't I think they ruined
- 58:45Speaker 1: in my love life. I love my boyfriend. He got
- 58:48Speaker 1: some of the great qualities, but when it comes to
- 58:50Speaker 1: romancing me, or warned me, he falls short. Okay, so
- 58:53Speaker 1: how did he get you? Then? How did he become
- 58:57Speaker 1: your damn boyfriend? If he falls short? What was he
- 59:03Speaker 1: doing to get you to be his girlfriend? Where you
- 59:06Speaker 1: was overlooking all that wooing? Oh, I know what it was. Oh,
- 59:12Speaker 1: I know what it was. Oh. He might not know
- 59:16Speaker 1: how to light no candle, but he know how to
- 59:18Speaker 1: light that damn fired though. Yeah. He might not know
- 59:22Speaker 1: how to throw no rolls petals in the flow, but
- 59:25Speaker 1: he knows how to fry your bacon. Oh, I see
- 59:27Speaker 1: what's happening right here. Yeah, okay, So now it's like okay,
- 59:31Speaker 1: so now let's go on. I'm very particularly how I
- 59:34Speaker 1: like things so I think he's developed the mindset that
- 59:37Speaker 1: it's better not to do nothing at all than to
- 59:39Speaker 1: do something I would not like. Okay, well you know
- 59:42Speaker 1: what that means. He shall shot hell every time he
- 59:46Speaker 1: tries something, you don't like it, and you're trill. See
- 59:51Speaker 1: it ain't like you ain't got a man that ain't
- 59:53Speaker 1: doing nothing, and you and and then and then listen
- 59:55Speaker 1: to this line right here. Oh, I would love for
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: him to do something elaborate for our first anniversary, which
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: is coming up soon, but nothing too grand. What? Yeah,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: now you want him to do something elaborate, but you
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: don't want him to do nothing too grand. You confusing?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: You won't elaborate but not too grand. Now if you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: tell that to any man, do you know what that
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: leaves us? To our own line? I think she won't
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: something elaborate but not too grande. Listen, hold on for
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: part two. Okay, we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour My
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Strawberry letter for today's subject, romantic comedies are ruining Me.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Morning show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap Today's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, Romantic comedies are ruining me. Yeah, this lady
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: twenty nine years old, gotta dude thirty two. She said
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: he only had one other girlfriend, so he's not romantic.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: And you know, she's been watching a lot of romantic comedies,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: so she got a particular way she likes stuff that
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Shirley has pointed out very pointedly that you in real life,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: this ain't a movie. Now. I'm one of the greatest
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: players of all time, like I said earlier, but even
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I can't keep it up all the damn time, you know,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and nine then I hit it over the wall. But
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you know sometimes I miss And you know why, because
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I gotta go to work. I got time to be
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: sitting up here at thirty rolled pedals all in the floor.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Every damn night. I got to go to work. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: can't run your bath water, damn it, I'm sleep. Then
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: here's tied in hell. I can't tie pat. You dry
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: every time you take a bath, now, Kyle, Pat, you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: dry air nine then, but the airy time you take
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a damn bad well, who is I'm now? Who is
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I'm hilt? But the damn butler, damn husband, I can't
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: be in here, and then here you go, and then
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you confusing you know you're talking about when it comes
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to romance. He wooing me, he falls short. Well, how
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: did he get you? How how he get you? He
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: must be doing something. We all know what that is. Though,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: don't win or he may not throw no rose petals
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: in the floor, but he showed know how to throw
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you in the damn flow though she supped working out him.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: He might not know how to throw rose petals in
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the floor, but he showed know how to throw you
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: in the floor with it. Now, all of a sudden,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you want some damn rose petals. You aren't asking for
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: the rose petal when you're getting all them carpet birds
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: on your butt scooting you crossed the floor at high
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: speed speed. I'm very particularly how I like things. So
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: I think he's developed a mindset that it's better do
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: nothing all than to do something that what I will
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: not like. Well, that's because I said he shall shot
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: because every time he do something you don't like it,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: and then here you go with your crazy self. I
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: want I would love him do something elaborate for our
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: first anniversary, which is coming up soon, but nothing too grand.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: What make up your mind. Do you want it elaborate
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: or you want it too grand? What what you want?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You're confusing the man. I like candle light dinners. But
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: he liked rose petals and plastic flowers all on the floor. Okay,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: did you tell him you don't like rose petals on
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the floor. Now, I will admit it's hard to walk
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: on plastic flower That is hard to do. I can't
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: agree with you right there. I like hotels with a
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: jacuzzi in the room. See, well, where did you start
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: liking all this that? See you don't bought a lot
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: of experience to the game where every hotel room you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you got got a Jacu's in and what everse that
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: right where you find all the hotel with Jacu's in it?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: And then better? Yeah, he liked the ones with heart
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: shaped beds. I ain't been in the hotel nowhere with
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a damn heart shaped beard any rooms. He likes motels.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I have been in the hotels all over the world,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and I haven't yet to walk in the room to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: have heart shaped bed in it. You're not how hard
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: it is to stay on the heart shaped bed screwed over?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: You're in the crack fall off and hold up my
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: ass and hang it off. Pull your head up. My
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: heart gets the head. Boy, you're in the middle of
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: the heart. You're in the crack. You're fitting the fall down.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Pulled me up, pulled me up too much. I like
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: find chocolates, but he likes those gigantic heart shaped boxes
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: of chocolate. Okay, you said you like chocolates, did john
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: heart shaped boxes? Ain't the chocolates in there? Then you say,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I like long romantic drives. But he got a white
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: stretch limo. Maybe he was tied, he was at work,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: he couldn't drive you know where, so he got a limo.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Don't nobody really get white limos no more? You gonna
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: throw that in? Yeah, that along with the plastic flower
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you know what classes in it and stuff that ain't yours?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: All right? Anyway, line between romantic and cheese it. I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: want a romantic experience tailor to me and my personality,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: not a generic waste of money. He don't know that.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: But at least you got a man to steady trying
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: to do something for you. But all you're doing, like
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Shirley said, he your ass is complaining. So now he
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: don't know what to do. Damn. But you won't tell
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: him money. He got to guess he can't read your mind,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Shirley saying that the man can't read your mind anyway.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I like things, Uh, I bring up these things in
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: casual conversation. Men don't do casual conversation. You gotta tell
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: your man what you like. But I think he's worried
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: about displeasing me, so he's not gonna put forth any
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: effort at all anymore. Because every time he does something,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: he get it wrong. So if you keep getting it wrong,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: you're gonna stop doing it. This is a lot of
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I suggest moon lighting. Excuse me, I suggest mood lighting,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the candles, the food and the music. I know what
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I like, and I've been making sure I'm comfortable for
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: our romantic moments. I thought by now he'd be able
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: to take the hint, but I don't think he gets it.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: So how do I get him to romance me? Like
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: in the movies? Little girl, listen to me, What stuff
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: that's happening in the movies happens in the movies in
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: real life? You can't get that all the damn time.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: It's unrealistic to expect it, and you're gonna be disappointed.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: That's right, all right, So people in the movie ain't
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: getting that anything. Thank you Post Coday Steve Harvey FM

- 1:07:43Speaker 1: How did they get there? Day beat the Browns. That's
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: what happened, Tommy. They beat the brown oh man. And
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: so the Texas and the Browns all at home and together,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: and we're gonna watch these games Sunday. See what you
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: gotta say about that about Deeve Brown, Well, well, we
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: was in it. We gave them hell call they made
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: he didn't win helmet. They didn't make that call right there.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I saw highlights on my computer. Yeah, I saw highlights
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: on the computer. Oh. I cried then too. I cried
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: at the highlights. Cry, cried at the highlights, cried at
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: the highlights. Man, five point boy, we were so damn close. Man. Yeah.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: But you know the difference between the Browns and the
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Texas is the Browns will be back with their team.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Y'all will be back without the Shaun Wasson Andre hoglights.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I don't know. And if y'all keep if y'all keep talking,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: JJ walking walk out on y'all, y'all gonna measure around.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Y'all ass gonna be the Bengals. Do y'all have any predictions?
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Tommy onst you have any idea who gonna be in
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the Super Bowl? Two good games this week? Now, now
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: let me say this, Wait a minute. If Tampa wins this,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I think this would be the first time somebody plays
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the Super Bowl in their city. I don't think it's happened. Yeah,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: it would be. I don't know. Well, I'm Tom Brady.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: He getting the super Bowl, that'd bey out standing for him.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: But I like Aaron Rodgers personally because I've met him
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: and Kansas City man. But dog my home might be
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: out though. Yeahs concussion man, our engineer from miss he
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: came and everybody else does. They gonna rush his ass back.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: They're gonna swear him down. He ain't got no concussion.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: All right, guys, thank you Junior. Coming up at the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and trending health news. Let's then point
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: five percent of Americans have taken the vaccine. Steve, Here's
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: a question we saw on Facebook. It says, my wife
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: is a teacher and all and is all set to
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: get the COVID vaccine and some of her co workers
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: have already received their first dose, but some won't even
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: sign up for it. It's causing some tension between her
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and some of her co workers. So the question is,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: should you be upset with someone who can get the
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: vaccine but it's choosing not to and you want it
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: but you don't qualify yet? Interesting, Well, I mean, those
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: are the rules. Are the rules that ain't then you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: can do about it, but don't get into this back
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: and forth. For me, I've decided to let everybody decide
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: for the self. Right. If you want the vaccine, I'm
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: with it. If you don't want it for whatever reason
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: you can come up with. You got a theory you're
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: working on, then don't do it. I'm taking the damn vaccine. Yeah,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the first, one of the first people ever said that
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: they were taking it. Yeah, you were, you said, as
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: soon as it comes, dranking it, putting it on that staff.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I'm using it as an under roll on. I'm putting
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: it on as preparation H. Preparation H. I'm gonna have
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: it on. I'm gonna put it in the tube. I'm
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: gonna use it as toothpaste and preparation. Friends popping in
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: my as I got sickle cell I'm taking and the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: five can if you got six of I need it.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You say, can't be worse than guy, Yeah, can't be
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: worse than this. I think. So I'm a high risk
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of the When they start giving it to the people
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: with a high risk, I could get them get you
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: could get it. But I think Biden's Biden's mission is
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: to have one hundred million people in one hundred days
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: or something like that. One hundred million and one hundred
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: one hundred days. Yeah, and it's first one hundred days. Yeah,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: let's go which come up better than Trump? Because Trump
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: don't give it. Damn who get the vaccine? Yeah, he
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: never had a plan. No Bisi trying to get out
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: and take them Hell billy with you. Yeah, sick of
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: we're gonna start taking kicking as taking night. Yeah, you're
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: going to jail for real. You're gonna have a whole
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: nother saying in jail. If I wish you, I wouldn't
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: say ass to last. They're asking to be pardoned. Did
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you see that? The people, of course storm the capital
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: to capital domestic terrorists. And let me tell you why
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Donald Trump not gonna pardon them, Because if Donald Trump
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: pardons them, they're gonna really go after his ass. Why
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: is that? Okay, Well, it would contradict what he said
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: when he says we will not tolerate violence and those
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: that storm the Capitol will be prosecuted at the full
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: extent of the law. That's Donald Trump saying that. So
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: now if he comes back, because you know, look, the
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: impeachment process can happen one hundred days or many other days.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It is after he leaves office. So what they're gonna do.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: And if that doesn't work, to my understanding, all they
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: need is a majority vote to pass a thing that
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: he did something, and it would prevent him from running
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: for political officing. Yeah, that's what I mean that you
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: don't need him back in office anywhere he's gonna run.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: But they say tomorrow he's gonna part. Today he's gonna
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: pardon a hundred people. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well, well a
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: hundred people work for him and went to jail. That's
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: so he's trying to just get out of there. Then
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he's not gonna pardon not wanted. The billis though not one,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: but he's also man one of them hell billies with
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: that Confederate flag. He not gonna pardon none of them, y'all.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: He gonna let them rot in jail and hell, and
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: they're gonna pay for that. But even if he were
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: to pardon them, they have other charges to you that
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: he can't do if he pardons them. Oh God, his legacy,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: it's done anyway. All right. We'll have more of a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening show and trending
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: inauguration news from our homestation in Washington, DC. That's w
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: h U R F. M. Howard University Showtime Marching Band.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: That's right. Well, it scored Vice President elect Kamala Harris
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: to the presidential inaugur Yes. I love that. They're gonna
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: have the drum line, splashy flag squad and of course
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the La La dancers. Yeah h you okay, you know
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I love that so much. Pride with HBCUs right now,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: so much pride. That's pat and I love it. Go
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: VP elect VP now, I'll let it tomorrow. She's Vice
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: President Harris. They got security out there, baby, they're rocking,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: They're ready for it. Yeah. I just wish they wouldn't
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: tell everything. All their strategies being hunt. They tell every
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: up too much. Yeah, they really do. I mean street
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: and that street and that street shut up. Yes, that's
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: what I know. Anybody tries anything, they get the ass
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: put in that patty wagon, they get these charges and
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: they're gonna be gone. They're gonna be gone. They have
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: got to make an example. I don't see how they
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: won't make an example out of this. I know. I
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: just don't want it to overshadow Joe Biden and Kamala
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Harrison's day. That's what I don't want. All right, More
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: of a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: three minutes after right after this you're listening show. Well,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: tomorrow is the inauguration for PRESIDENTY like Joe Biden and
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Vice PRESIDENTY like Kamala Harris. Thank you lord. As we
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: all know, the cleaning crew has been working hard at
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: the White House. We also hear that the Trumps didn't
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: share bedrooms. What's going on over there? What are they
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: take all that out the back? All that? I said,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: take all that out the back? Excuse me? All right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: what's going on? All right? I'm with seeing and we're
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: here to cover the the process of the the back,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I said, the back, Uncle, go ahead. I'm sorry what
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: you're saying, sir. We're here to cover the transition period
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: between the White House and uh what what is your
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: job title? Sir? Oh? Uh. We we're cleaning up the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: White House, get it all prepared for uh President Biden
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: getting here. That's what we're doing. So we're trying to
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: get take all that out the back. But sir, again,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the question is, sir, the question was what is your
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: job title. We're cleaning up the White House top to bottom.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: We got to get all this completely clean until uh

- 1:19:58Speaker 1: break of the day, and we'll have some closing remarks
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: minutes after right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day. Wow. Oh,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I'm so excited tomorrow it's the inauguration. I mean, I
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: didn't think this day would ever come, and it is
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the end of his reign as president. Terror I'm not
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: afraid of what and and these are my closing remarks too.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm not afraid of his followers. I'm not afraid
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: of Trump is m I'm none that that shakes me up,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: none at all. You didn't You didn't affect my life
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: when you was president. You damn Sou're not gonna have
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: an effect on it when you're gone. And I'm not
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: allowing anybody to wave a Trump flag and affect my life.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Tomorrow is a new beginning, a new chance. And you
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: know how I'm talking to. I'm talking to the Steve
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show listeners. Tomorrow is a new chance for us.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: We're starting a new era in the American process. We
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: have proven that we have the power to change elections,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: that we have the power to remove and approve of
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: whoever we want in certain positions by the power of
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the vote. Our power as voters has never been more
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: evident than this year right here. The presidential election and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: the Senate runoff in Georgia. Those two things showed us
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: in Detroit, in Milwaukee, in Philly, in Atlanta, all over Georgia, Brunswick, Columbia,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: South Savannah. All of that. Man showed that what the
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: brothers and sister was doing out there in Houston, in Dallas, Texas,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: how they showed up at the post damn to turn
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: that state blue. I mean, man, we found out something
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: this year, in the midst of an pandemic, a global pandemic,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: we found a way to come out of this, something
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: that we could all be proud of. That we are
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: now have to be dealt with as a voting block.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: They have to dig up, they have to deal with that, y'all.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I want you to understand that. And so as the
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: inauguration approaches, I also want to say this to my listeners,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: do not involve yourself in any type of counter protest.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Do not involve yourself in any type of counter protests.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: For those people who still want to raise Trump flags
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that to raise them, you ain't got to go down
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: there encounter it with nothing. Don't do that. Stay home,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: stay safe, and stay watchful. Let them protest if that's
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: what they're gonna do. You do not have to counter
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: protest that. Don't get caught up in the confusion. Let
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: them work that out. This is the constitution that they
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: fore father, This rope Let them work through it. Let
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: them have to live up to the creed that they've
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: been talking about all this time. How great of a
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: document it is, and it's a wonderful document. That's a
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: wonderful document. It just ain't been that wonderful for us.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: And so let them deal with that. That ain't our war.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: We are now a voting block, and we have proven it,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: and we have things to do and from now we
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: are evolved in all elections, all of them, y'all. Send it. Congress, judges,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: sheriffs were getting involved in all of it. Those days
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: of disregarding us are over, and we proved it not
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: a Republican party. They got some adjustments they got to
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: make because they all got to know that what Donald
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Trump did the Republican Party, it left it in shambles.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: They are splintered. Hard to call yourself the moral party
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: when your leader's name is Donald Trump. It really is so, y'all,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: we got a lot to look forward to in twenty
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: twenty one. Keep your head up, stay prayerful, know that
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: God loves you, and make a plan for twenty twenty one.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: You ain't gotta keep talking about what Trump doing, and
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: all is here. We gotta think twenty twenty one. He here,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: We got things to do with our life. It's time
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: for us to get it on and move on. What's
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: your dreams and visions for twenty twenty one? What do
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: you hope for for your family, for your relationship, for
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: your career, for your money, for your hopes, your dreams,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: your passions, your education, your involvement, your business. What do
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: you want for yourself? Stop tripping, man, We got a
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: life to live. If God allowed you to live to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: survive twenty twenty, it simply means that He ain't through
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: with you yet, and He has something else for you.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: So if you are here in twenty twenty one and
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you got through twenty twenty, it's because He got something
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: for you. I choose to live my life in expectation
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to see exactly what that is. And I'm dependent and
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: hoping and praying and living my life with the fact
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: that I know God is everything and through all things,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: you can have anything through Christ and strengthens you. He
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: is your power. He's your source of inspiration and hope.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: You can get it. Man, You ain't got to wear
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: about it. Dune. Trump has gone. He's from He's saying
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: your song. I believe Donald's gone. I won't be much
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: too long that Donald's gonna be he gone, moving on.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: I believe that Trump is gone our church, Amen, Amen,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Amen again. Man, And don't try to come back in
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: the White House like I forgot my car keys. Not
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: get your ass out please come back to there. That's
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: called trespassing. Y'all. Have a great day. Man, Talk to God.
