  Speaker 2: want to be encouraging, uplifting and inspirational in some way

  Speaker 2: to affect somebody today. Oftentimes, these conversations that I have

  Speaker 2: in the morning, they're designed with me because I needed
• 0:58
  Speaker 2: myself y'all, to be honest with you.

  Speaker 1: I mean, you know who makes the comedian laugh? I
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: used to say all the time.

  Speaker 2: And even though what we talk about in the morning
• 1:11
  Speaker 2: is not a laughing matter, it kind of like is
• 1:14
  Speaker 2: who I am today. You know, I need motivation in
• 1:19
  Speaker 2: my life sometimes myself. I think when I get in
• 1:23
  Speaker 2: moments like this, I often resort back to the same
• 1:29
  Speaker 2: thing over and over and over. And when I find
• 1:34
  Speaker 2: myself in certain predicaments, I can always fall back on
• 1:39
  Speaker 2: the same thing over and over. So while I'm sitting
• 1:43
  Speaker 2: here trying to figure out what to say to you,

  Speaker 2: the one thing that I did do this morning that
• 1:50
  Speaker 2: I find to be very consistent in me is that
• 1:54
  Speaker 2: I find myself grateful. I'm ever grateful for the thing

  Speaker 2: that God has done for me. I may not always
• 2:03
  Speaker 2: know what to say, but I know how to say
• 2:06
  Speaker 2: thank you.

  Speaker 2: I know how to remember and reflect back on where

  Speaker 2: I come from.

  Speaker 1: I know how to.

  Speaker 2: Realize where all my blessings come from. I'm very very

  Speaker 2: conscious of my journey that I've been on, the one
• 2:28
  Speaker 2: that was from then until now. That journey right there

  Speaker 2: is it's been. It's been, it's been. It's been difficult, man,

  Speaker 2: it really really has. I ain't gonna lie to you.

  Speaker 3: Me.

  Speaker 1: Becoming successful was very difficult. But as as hard as

  Speaker 1: this is to say, I.

  Speaker 2: Really really mean this, I wouldn't change nothing about the

  Speaker 2: trip I've been on. Number one, because I can't change

  Speaker 2: anything about it. So I never lived my life in regret.

  Speaker 2: But the main thing is was I discovered along the
• 3:14
  Speaker 2: way now not doing the process when you're going through
• 3:18
  Speaker 2: rough moments that you can't hardly see the good in
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: it at the time. It's just rough for you and
• 3:24
  Speaker 2: it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes I thought it was unfair.
• 3:29
  Speaker 2: But as I am now, I needed every single thing
• 3:33
  Speaker 2: that happened to me, that happened to me to happen
• 3:38
  Speaker 2: to me.

  Speaker 1: I hope that makes sense to you.

  Speaker 2: I needed everything to happen in the exact order and
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: the exact way that it happened in order for me
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: to be the person that I've become.

  Speaker 1: And that right there, man is just very comforting to me.

  Speaker 2: Mishel Jakes told me one time, he said, the closer

  Speaker 2: you get to God, the more friendly you all become,

  Speaker 2: the more He will reveal to you are the how

  Speaker 2: it comes and what falls of a lot of things

  Speaker 2: that's happened to you. Because a lot of times what

  Speaker 2: troubles us is we just can't understand why we lost

  Speaker 2: that love one back then. We just can't understand why

  Speaker 2: we didn't get what we wanted back then. We just

  Speaker 2: don't understand how come our plan didn't work out and

  Speaker 2: we had to fail so miserably back then. We don't

  Speaker 2: understand the answers to these things. Well, the closer I've
• 4:43
  Speaker 2: gotten to God, the more those explanations have become crystal
• 4:47
  Speaker 2: clear to me. And see, the one thing that I
• 4:51
  Speaker 2: came to the realization everybody is that the things that
• 4:54
  Speaker 2: was happening to me, they weren't really all bad. They
• 4:58
  Speaker 2: really wasn't that they didn't taste good. When it was happening,
• 5:02
  Speaker 2: I didn't enjoy what I was going through, But as
• 5:05
  Speaker 2: I look back on them and reflect now, it wasn't
• 5:07
  Speaker 2: all bad. Some of those things were so necessary for
• 5:10
  Speaker 2: me to get the information because, see, I don't know
• 5:13
  Speaker 2: about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: I said, I don't know about you, but I'm kind
• 5:19
  Speaker 2: of hard headed and stubborn. I kind of like to
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: think that I know something about some things every now
• 5:27
  Speaker 2: and then, and the things I am convinced about. I
• 5:31
  Speaker 2: don't really really care for people trying to talk me
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: off mine. So I can be stubborn and hard headed.

  Speaker 2: Sometimes God knows that about me. So I think to
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: get some of the messages crystal clear through to me
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: that I needed to learn, that was this process I
• 5:47
  Speaker 2: had to go through. That process was my journey, It
• 5:50
  Speaker 2: was my trip. It was my woe, my pain. See,
• 5:54
  Speaker 2: everybody got them different, it don't matter what it is.
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain, everybody got
• 6:00
  Speaker 2: a trial, everybody got some tribulations.
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: Everybody got some challenge.

  Speaker 2: I don't care who you are due quit looking at

  Speaker 2: me thinking that I got it going on, so tough man.

  Speaker 2: But if Steve, yeah, it's easy for you to say that,

  Speaker 2: but you ain't here. You don't know whey, Ben, if

  Speaker 2: you would stop hanging yourself up on your past, worrying
• 6:20
  Speaker 2: about your woes and your troubles and the situation you in,

  Speaker 2: and start praying and start asking God to get you
• 6:28
  Speaker 2: through it.

  Speaker 1: See a lot of times you messed it. You messed
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: the message up yourself.

  Speaker 2: Because when you're going through some stuff, you ask God
• 6:35
  Speaker 2: to remove it and take it away.

  Speaker 1: That ain't the lesson. You got to learn your lesson

  Speaker 1: sometimes it's.

  Speaker 2: Got to be how to be strong, how to see
• 6:45
  Speaker 2: it through, how to bear under it, how to carry

  Speaker 2: that weight long distances for long periods of time. That's

  Speaker 2: how you get strong. The lesson is to make you stronger.

  Speaker 2: But to make you stronger, you got to carry it Awight.

  Speaker 2: You can't get stronger you don't go to gym or

  Speaker 2: you're gonna do something at your house to lift your

  Speaker 1: See a lot of people can't even do push ups.

  Speaker 2: They can't get down and in the course of a day,

  Speaker 2: give you a hundred push ups because they ain't. They

  Speaker 2: ain't never tried it. They boy, they get to twenty

  Speaker 2: and they shake it so bad they stop. That's too

  Speaker 2: much for me. Well, let me tell you something. So

  Speaker 2: I learned to quit praying to take stuff away. My

  Speaker 2: prayer became to give me the strength to handle it.

  Speaker 2: People oftentimes ask me, how do you do all that

  Speaker 2: you do in the course of the day.

  Speaker 1: I don't really know. I just know I can.

  Speaker 2: Because I know God don't put more on you than

  Speaker 2: you can bath. So when you ask me how you

  Speaker 2: do all of what you do in the course of

  Speaker 2: the day, I got God. God is good. He'll get

  Speaker 2: you through whatever it is you're going through. So when

  Speaker 2: you trip it and you don't know what to say,

  Speaker 2: reflect and be grateful for all you reflect, think about

  Speaker 2: God's goodness and watch what He do for you.

  Speaker 2: approach the new year, you might even make it to

  Speaker 2: the new year. You get started, you get started over.

  Speaker 2: But here's the deal. Stop waiting on the new year

  Speaker 2: to make new changes. Why put off tomorrow when you

  Speaker 2: caught what you could do. Why put off tomorrow what

  Speaker 2: you can do today. See, people wait on the new

  Speaker 2: years to get resolutions and all this, And I kind

  Speaker 2: of understand it, you know, especially way lost because you're

  Speaker 2: not gonna do that this year. I'm not gonna pack

  Speaker 2: and all I get the hard it is to take off.

  Speaker 2: So I got something special coming at the top of

  Speaker 2: the year. Oh oh, I got something special for everybody

  Speaker 2: apart moments. You might have had some I'm broken moments. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: So that's the way I look at it, man.
