- 0:00Speaker 1: The MBI director Cash Pttel is now really explaining how
- 0:04Speaker 1: corrupt the Southern Poverty Law Center actually is. We also
- 0:09Speaker 1: know now that the Southern Property Law Center had a
- 0:11Speaker 1: hit list of conservatives and gave locations of where the
- 0:15Speaker 1: top conservatives they hated lived. The FBI director going on
- 0:20Speaker 1: Sean Hannity's show saying this about who they really are
- 0:24Speaker 1: and following the money.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Money doesn't lie. The charity that supposedly fought the clan
- 0:30Speaker 2: funded the clan. The charity that supposedly fought Nazis funded
- 0:35Speaker 2: Neo Nazis. The Southern Poverty Law Center ran a methodical,
- 0:39Speaker 2: calculated scheme to defraud their donor base of three million
- 0:43Speaker 2: dollars and lied to them and used an illicit banking
- 0:47Speaker 2: structure system to create shell companies to hide their money
- 0:51Speaker 2: and who it was being sent to, specifically for the
- 0:54Speaker 2: reason to sow discord and hate into our society. This
- 0:58Speaker 2: is the ultimate definition of hypocrisy, and if you look
- 1:01Speaker 2: at the indictment produced by the Department of Justice and
- 1:04Speaker 2: the FBI, you will see that these banking institutions tied
- 1:07Speaker 2: directly the funding mechanisms in which the Southern Poverty Law
- 1:10Speaker 2: Center used to fund at least eight hate groups they
- 1:14Speaker 2: supposedly wanted to take out, but they were paying the
- 1:16Speaker 2: very villains of our society they supposedly wanted to protect
- 1:20Speaker 2: us from. That's the ultimate hypocrisy.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You'll listen to Cashptel and he's absolutely right these people.
- 1:27Speaker 1: This charity that was supposedly supposed to be fighting neo
- 1:30Speaker 1: Nazis was funding the Neo Nazis. The charity that was
- 1:35Speaker 1: supposed to fight the Klulux Klan was actually funding the
- 1:38Speaker 1: klu Klux Klan. That obviously is a massive problem, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: that is exactly why the indictments have come down.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Every day Americans make.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Choices that shape our country's future, right down to which
- 1:52Speaker 1: cell phone provider we support. Here's what most people don't
- 1:56Speaker 1: actually realize. Patriot Mobile isn't just a wireless They're an
- 2:01Speaker 1: activist organization funded by selling top tier cell service. They've
- 2:06Speaker 1: been on the front lines defending our freedoms long before
- 2:09Speaker 1: it was cool, standing up and the gap when others wouldn't.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The best part is they deliver prioritized premium service on
- 2:18Speaker 1: all three major US networks, giving you the same or
- 2:21Speaker 1: even better coverage backed by one hundred percent US based
- 2:25Speaker 1: customer support. You get unlimited data, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and so much more. But when you switch to Patriot Mobile,
- 2:33Speaker 1: that's what I love the most. You'll help grow a
- 2:36Speaker 1: movement that fuels the Christian conservative cause. Every bill you
- 2:40Speaker 1: pay helps advance the values of faith, family, and freedom.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And switching is easier than ever. You can literally activate
- 2:48Speaker 1: in minutes, keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade.
- 2:52Speaker 3: So take a stand today.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's paid Street
- 3:00Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ferguson, or call them nine to
- 3:04Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. It's nine seven to two Patriot
- 3:07Speaker 1: and use the promo code ferguson for a free month
- 3:10Speaker 1: of service Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven
- 3:15Speaker 1: to two Patriot to make the switch today. Breitbart is
- 3:19Speaker 1: also reporting this that the Left is Southern Poverty Law
- 3:23Speaker 1: Center's former head Margaret Hag weaponized the group against Conservatives. Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 1: this's now coming as well from the New York Posts. Now,
- 3:34Speaker 1: this report comes after the DOJ on Tuesday charge the
- 3:38Speaker 1: organization with not only fraud but also money laundering, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: it linked them to violent extremist groups. Now, the Southern
- 3:46Speaker 1: Property Law Center's former boss took over in twenty twenty,
- 3:50Speaker 1: after which the organization took on a more partisan tone.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Is how the Post described it, saying this and a
- 3:57Speaker 1: piece published last year claimed that hard right extremist groups
- 4:02Speaker 1: have steadily penetrated American life, politics, and government since President
- 4:07Speaker 1: Trump's twenty sixteen election, arguing his second White House run
- 4:12Speaker 1: gave them an ally in the highest office in the nation.
- 4:16Speaker 1: What was once considered a fringe agenda in the modern
- 4:19Speaker 1: era is the blueprint from which the country's president and
- 4:23Speaker 1: the MAGA movement is operating. She blasted an article for
- 4:27Speaker 1: The Daily Costs warning that the hard right that would
- 4:31Speaker 1: be you and I is muscling its way into schools
- 4:34Speaker 1: and libraries that, of course, the left have already taken over.
- 4:38Speaker 1: The Southern Poverty Law Center targeted conservative groups known as
- 4:41Speaker 1: Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk's group that he founded in
- 4:45Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, we now have learned by putting it
- 4:48Speaker 1: on a hate map with KKK chapters. Turning Point USA
- 4:53Speaker 1: founder Charlie Kirk, who was brutally assassinated at that Utah
- 4:57Speaker 1: speaking engagement in September of twenty twenty five, I've reacted
- 5:01Speaker 1: to the move in a social media post, calling it
- 5:03Speaker 1: a cheap smear from a washed up organization that's been
- 5:07Speaker 1: fleecing scared grandmas for decades now. The indictment against Southern
- 5:13Speaker 1: Poverty Law Center also comes after Kirk, for many years
- 5:16Speaker 1: said its hate group designation targeted conservatives as well as Christians,
- 5:22Speaker 1: purnal rights activists, and his organization. Now we know from
- 5:27Speaker 1: all of the indictment that that is exactly true. During
- 5:30Speaker 1: December twenty twenty five testimony before the House Judiciary Committee,
- 5:36Speaker 1: Turning Point executive vice president Stay that Kirk had worn
- 5:40Speaker 1: three months before his assassination that the Southern Poverty Law
- 5:44Speaker 1: Center's designation of Turning Point USA on its hate map
- 5:48Speaker 1: would place the organization in the crosshairs. They also told
- 5:53Speaker 1: lawmakers that the warning proved prophetic after Kirk was assassinated
- 5:59Speaker 1: at Utah University in September of the same year. In
- 6:04Speaker 1: announcing this indictment on Tuesday, the FBI director said the
- 6:08Speaker 1: charges against the organization included major crimes, wire fraud, false
- 6:13Speaker 1: statements to federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment
- 6:18Speaker 1: of money laundering. The Southern Propaty Law Center allegedly engaged
- 6:23Speaker 1: in a massive fraud operation to deceive their donors. They
- 6:27Speaker 1: also enriched themselves and hit their deceptive operations from the public.
- 6:33Speaker 3: They also lied to.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Their donors vowing to dismantle violent extremist groups, when in
- 6:38Speaker 1: actually what they were doing was turning around to pay
- 6:41Speaker 1: the leaders of those very extremist groups, even utilizing the
- 6:44Speaker 1: funds to have these groups facilitate the commission of state
- 6:48Speaker 1: and federal crimes. That is illegal, and this is an
- 6:53Speaker 1: ongoing investigation against all individuals, is what the FBI said.
- 6:58Speaker 1: What's also interesting is how much much money these leaders
- 7:01Speaker 1: were making. The Post of the time noted that the
- 7:04Speaker 1: woman in charge was compensated more than a half a
- 7:07Speaker 1: million dollars in twenty twenty three alone, adding she was
- 7:11Speaker 1: removed in July after huge layoffs and is now a
- 7:14Speaker 1: senior advisor at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Still in the game, still slandering conservatives and putting them
- 7:24Speaker 1: on hit lists now. It's also been exposed as well
- 7:28Speaker 1: that this organization, the Southern Poverty Law Center, paid an
- 7:32Speaker 1: informant at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville and
- 7:36Speaker 1: didn't just tip the Southern Propaty Law Center off the
- 7:40Speaker 1: Southern Popty Law Center supervised his racist postings and helped
- 7:46Speaker 1: coordinate transportation, boosting the white nationalists side. The Southern Propaty
- 7:51Speaker 1: Law Center paid him two hundred and seventy thousand dollars
- 7:55Speaker 1: between twenty fifteen and twenty twenty three, showing that this
- 7:59Speaker 1: was a law long term business plan. The F thirty
- 8:03Speaker 1: seven was a member of the online leadership chat group
- 8:06Speaker 1: that planned the twenty seventeen Unite the Right event in Charlottesville, Virginia,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and attend the event at the direction of the Southern
- 8:13Speaker 1: Poverty Law Center. Not to be clear, this is an
- 8:16Speaker 1: individual that the Southern Poverty Law Center says they're fighting against,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and they were actually organizing his travel. The F thirty
- 8:24Speaker 1: seven and the indictment made racist postings under the supervision
- 8:28Speaker 1: of the Southern Poverty Law Center and helped coordinate transportation
- 8:32Speaker 1: to the event for several attendees as well, paying him
- 8:36Speaker 1: more than two hundred and seventy thousand dollars. Tyler O'Neal
- 8:40Speaker 1: tweeted this. The Southern Poverty Law Center paid a neo
- 8:43Speaker 1: Nazi leader more than one million dollars between twenty fourteen
- 8:48Speaker 1: and twenty twenty three. This story is familiar to me
- 8:51Speaker 1: because it involves the case of Glenn Keith Allen, because
- 8:55Speaker 1: the Southern Poverty Law Center used the stolen documents to
- 8:58Speaker 1: literally destroy his repute. Tyler and Neil went on to say,
- 9:02Speaker 1: not only did they pay the Imperial Wizard of the
- 9:06Speaker 1: United Clans of America a rebirth of a group the
- 9:10Speaker 1: Southern Propaty Lassner sued into bankruptcy in the Michael Donald case,
- 9:15Speaker 1: but they actually said no, no, no, We'll rebirth it and
- 9:19Speaker 1: make them have even more money. Yes, an American Nazi
- 9:23Speaker 1: received three hundred thousand dollars from the Southern Poverty Law
- 9:27Speaker 1: Group from twenty fourteen to twenty twenty seven. This is
- 9:32Speaker 1: all what happens when you follow the money, and what
- 9:36Speaker 1: we're witnessing right now is one of the Democrats' most
- 9:39Speaker 1: important organizations that they use in this country to divide
- 9:43Speaker 1: the nation. Well, in fact, what they were really doing
- 9:47Speaker 1: is they were going after conservatives and paying the extremists
- 9:51Speaker 1: they claimed they were actually trying to get rid of
- 9:56Speaker 1: all Right, so a lot of you are obviously thinking
- 9:58Speaker 1: the same thing that I am, Like, hey, is this
- 10:00Speaker 1: really going to turn into like people getting indicted or
- 10:04Speaker 1: people getting fired, or the Southern Poverty Law Center being
- 10:07Speaker 1: shut down.
- 10:08Speaker 3: What is Washington d C. Going to do?
- 10:11Speaker 1: And is there things that can happen on Capitol Hill.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Well I sat down with Center Cruz to talk about
- 10:16Speaker 1: exactly all of those questions, and here's what you had
- 10:19Speaker 1: to say. All right, Senator, So let's get into the
- 10:22Speaker 1: Southern Poverty Laws Center. It was, let's just be clear,
- 10:26Speaker 1: a group that was supposed to stop the klu Klex Klan,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but instead they decided to fund the klu Klex Klan.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That was just one of the many, like bigoted racist
- 10:35Speaker 1: groups that they decided to actually raise money from people
- 10:39Speaker 1: claiming we're trying to stop hate while actually funding the hate,
- 10:43Speaker 1: so they can then raise money off of the funding
- 10:45Speaker 1: of the hate and get a return on their investment.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It's like a Ponzi scheme. You can't make it up.
- 10:51Speaker 4: This story is one of the most astonishing stories. So
- 10:54Speaker 4: the Southern Poverty Law Center has made a business for decades,
- 10:59Speaker 4: a business convincing people, convincing liberals, convincing American corporations, convincing
- 11:06Speaker 4: just ordinary Americans that they're these vicious racists in America
- 11:10Speaker 4: that need to be fought and their business and understand,
- 11:14Speaker 4: the Southern Poverty Law Center raised hundreds of millions of
- 11:17Speaker 4: dollars to fight these racists. What happened this week The
- 11:22Speaker 4: Department of Justice indicted them, indicted them for money laundry
- 11:27Speaker 4: and the evidence. I could not have made this up.
- 11:31Speaker 4: The Southern Poverty Law Center was funding the very bigots
- 11:36Speaker 4: and racists that they claimed to be fighting. So, for example,
- 11:39Speaker 4: here's the story in the Daily Signal, the SPLC was
- 11:44Speaker 4: paying the Ku Kluxklan. Doj indictment claims the Southern Poverty
- 11:48Speaker 4: Law Center has raised money for decades claiming to dismantle
- 11:51Speaker 4: white supremacy, but it funneled millions of dollars. Let me
- 11:56Speaker 4: repeat that, millions of dollars to white nationalist groups, including
- 12:02Speaker 4: the Ku Klux Klan. According to the federal indictment handed
- 12:06Speaker 4: down Tuesday, the SPLC claims it was funding informants inside
- 12:10Speaker 4: the extremist groups. While the SPLC quote purports to fight
- 12:15Speaker 4: white supremacy and racial hatred, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche
- 12:18Speaker 4: said a press conference quote the SPLC was not dismantling
- 12:23Speaker 4: those groups, It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports
- 12:29Speaker 4: to oppose. Blanche highlighted one example from the indictment where
- 12:32Speaker 4: the SPLC paid a member of the leadership group that
- 12:36Speaker 4: planned the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in
- 12:41Speaker 4: twenty seventeen. It is stunning liberals funding bigots in order
- 12:47Speaker 4: to raise money to fight the bigotry they're funding.
- 12:50Speaker 1: There was a lot in the indictment that came out,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but there's one theme that casht Rettel made very clear
- 12:57Speaker 1: as he was on John Handy's show. He made it
- 13:00Speaker 1: real simple what this is about and why they were indicted.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Here is I Cash Hotel. In his own words, money
- 13:06Speaker 3: doesn't lie.
- 13:07Speaker 2: The charity that supposedly fought the clan funded the clan.
- 13:12Speaker 2: The charity that supposedly fought Nazis funded neo Nazis. The
- 13:16Speaker 2: Southern Poverty Law Center ran a methodical, calculated scheme to
- 13:21Speaker 2: defraud their donor base of three million dollars and lied
- 13:25Speaker 2: to them and used an illicit banking structure system to
- 13:28Speaker 2: create shell companies to hide their money and who it
- 13:32Speaker 2: was being sent to, specifically for the reason to sow
- 13:35Speaker 2: discord and hate into our society. This is the ultimate
- 13:39Speaker 2: definition of hypocrisy. And if you look at the indictment
- 13:42Speaker 2: produced by the Department of Justice and the FBI, you
- 13:45Speaker 2: will see that these banking institutions tied directly the funding
- 13:49Speaker 2: mechanisms in which the Southern Poverty Law Center used to
- 13:51Speaker 2: fund at least eight hate groups they supposedly wanted to
- 13:55Speaker 2: take out, but they were paying the very villains of
- 13:57Speaker 2: our society they supposedly want to to protect us from.
- 14:01Speaker 2: That's the ultimate hypocrisy.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But by the way, one of the things that I
- 14:05Speaker 1: think is really interesting about this is there were warning
- 14:08Speaker 1: signs for like quite some time. John Stossel back in
- 14:14Speaker 1: January sixteenth to twenty eighteen, he did an expose on
- 14:19Speaker 1: warning Americans about the Southern Popy Law Center and how
- 14:23Speaker 1: it used to have like an in theory, like a
- 14:25Speaker 1: good theme. It used to be about, hey, we find
- 14:28Speaker 1: hate groups, and we name them, and we expose them
- 14:30Speaker 1: and we out them. And then it just turned into
- 14:33Speaker 1: a radical left organization where Democrats could throw their money,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and when they threw their money in there, it would
- 14:41Speaker 1: just basically attack conservatives and anybody on the hit list,
- 14:45Speaker 1: which turned into by the way, turning point USA, it
- 14:48Speaker 1: turned into Christian groups as well, groups that they named
- 14:52Speaker 1: individuals like Laura Ingram for example, as one of those
- 14:55Speaker 1: threats to America through the Southern poplic Laws ARM. Mean,
- 14:57Speaker 1: that's they were doing that back in twenty six.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Well, and look it was not just liberals that were
- 15:04Speaker 4: funding them, it was corporate America that they did an
- 15:06Speaker 4: amazing job of extracting millions of dollars from giant corporations.
- 15:11Speaker 4: And they'd say, look, we're going to fight hate and
- 15:13Speaker 4: we're going to fight extremism. And they were rapidly partisan.
- 15:17Speaker 4: They attacked conservatives. We knew that. But the latest piece
- 15:20Speaker 4: of this indictment I got to say a week ago, Ben,
- 15:23Speaker 4: I don't know about you. Did you have on your
- 15:25Speaker 4: BINGO card the Southern Publicly Law Center funding, the KKK
- 15:29Speaker 4: funding the Nazis. No, Like there's a level of cynicism.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And the donations or corporate donations like Apple, Tim Cook
- 15:40Speaker 1: a million bucks, JP Morgan a million bucks, JP Morgan
- 15:44Speaker 1: half a million, MGM Resorts a million, like they were
- 15:48Speaker 1: Corporate America was giving money to them the same way
- 15:51Speaker 1: they did to Black Lives Matter for example. It was like, oh,
- 15:54Speaker 1: this is just something we got to check a box. Yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 1: what do you need, will write you the check, and
- 15:58Speaker 1: they had unlimited funds. Come again and then they used
- 16:01Speaker 1: it to again come after conservative and Christian organizations.
- 16:05Speaker 4: And understand the charges here. The indictment charges the SPLC
- 16:08Speaker 4: with six counts of wire fraud aiming to obtain money
- 16:13Speaker 4: via donations through materially false false representation and omissions about
- 16:18Speaker 4: what the donated funds would be used for. It charges
- 16:22Speaker 4: the SPLC with four counts of false statements to a
- 16:25Speaker 4: federally insured bank by creating accounts for fictitious entities to
- 16:30Speaker 4: funnel the money. Finally, it charges the SPLC with one
- 16:34Speaker 4: count of conspiracy to commit concealment of money laundry. The
- 16:39Speaker 4: Justice Department indictment claims the SPLC directed more than one
- 16:43Speaker 4: million dollars to an affiliate of the National Alliance, more
- 16:48Speaker 4: than three hundred thousand dollars to an affiliate of the
- 16:51Speaker 4: Area Nations, more than two hundred and seventy thousand dollars
- 16:55Speaker 4: to a member of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville,
- 16:58Speaker 4: Virginia in twenty seventeen, more than one hundred and forty
- 17:01Speaker 4: thousand dollars to a former chairman of the National Alliance,
- 17:06Speaker 4: more than seventy three one thousand dollars to a former
- 17:09Speaker 4: ku Klux Klan members, and more than nineteen thousand dollars
- 17:14Speaker 4: to the president of the American Front. This was shameless
- 17:19Speaker 4: and it was massive cash. Pttel said. The FBI's investigation
- 17:24Speaker 4: revealed that the funds were used to facilitate the commission
- 17:27Speaker 4: of further state and federal offenses, totaling more than three
- 17:32Speaker 4: million dollars. The magnitude of this, the depravity of this,
- 17:38Speaker 4: it's staggering.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I want to play Stolesel. He did this again January sixteen,
- 17:43Speaker 1: twenty eighteen. He was warning the country about the Southern
- 17:48Speaker 1: Propaty Law Center years ago, saying they have lost their way.
- 17:51Speaker 1: They are not what they say they are. Take a
- 17:53Speaker 1: listen to him, exposing him back in the day.
- 17:59Speaker 5: There are dangerous hate groups in America.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Who will warn us about them? The media have an answer.
- 18:06Speaker 2: The Southern Poverty Law Center, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
- 18:09Speaker 5: The Southern Poverty Law Center, based in that building in Alabama,
- 18:13Speaker 5: calls itself the premier group monitoring hate groups.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Looking at their map of.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Such groups, he'd think America was consumed by hate. I
- 18:24Speaker 5: once believed in the Center's mission while meeting people still
- 18:27Speaker 5: do Apple just gave them a million dollars. But what
- 18:30Speaker 5: donors don't know is that today the Center smears people
- 18:35Speaker 5: who don't deserve to be.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Smeared the presence of radical Islam.
- 18:38Speaker 5: This woman grew up in Somalia suffered female genital mutilation,
- 18:43Speaker 5: so now she speaks out against radical Islam. For that,
- 18:47Speaker 5: the Center put her.
- 18:48Speaker 3: On its list. Multiculturalism failed these communities.
- 18:52Speaker 5: This man was once an Islamic extremist, but then he
- 18:55Speaker 5: decided radical Islam was wrong, and now he criticizes the
- 18:59Speaker 5: radical The Center labels him an anti Muslim extremist.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Too. Join the fight against hate and bigotry. Visit Sblcenter
- 19:09Speaker 3: dot org.
- 19:09Speaker 5: I do think that we have a problem with hate
- 19:12Speaker 5: in this country.
- 19:13Speaker 4: We put about ten of these major hay groups out
- 19:15Speaker 4: of business.
- 19:16Speaker 5: The Center's leaders, Richard Cohen and Morris D's would not
- 19:19Speaker 5: talk to me, so commentator Nomiki Kant stepped up to
- 19:23Speaker 5: defend them.
- 19:23Speaker 4: They had a history, a long history of fighting against
- 19:26Speaker 4: extremists like the KKK.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Years ago, Harper's magazine reported that the Center's the wealthiest
- 19:32Speaker 5: civil rights group in America, one that spent most of
- 19:35Speaker 5: its time and money on a fundraising campaign. Now, Morris
- 19:39Speaker 5: D's did once promise to stop fundraising once his adowment
- 19:44Speaker 5: hit fifty five million dollars, but when he reached fifty
- 19:47Speaker 5: five million, he changed that to one hundred million, saying
- 19:51Speaker 5: that would allow them to cease costly fundraising. But when
- 19:55Speaker 5: they reached one hundred million, they didn't stop.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Today they have an endow that now is over three
- 20:01Speaker 4: hundred and twenty million dollars, much of which is an
- 20:04Speaker 4: offshore counts Caymans and places like that. And how do
- 20:07Speaker 4: you know, oh that we look at their nine nineties and.
- 20:09Speaker 3: It says Cayman Islands.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Yeah, they pay some of their people more than four
- 20:13Speaker 5: hundred thousand years.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Well, you know it's twenty seventeen.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's twenty seventeen.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So we're just raising as much money from the left
- 20:23Speaker 1: in corporate America.
- 20:25Speaker 3: As we can.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Doctor Oz working obviously with President Donald Trump to put
- 20:32Speaker 1: all fifty governors now on notice. Why'm over literally billions
- 20:39Speaker 1: of dollars loss to medicaid fraud. Not only is he
- 20:43Speaker 1: putting them on notice, but he's giving the governors now
- 20:47Speaker 1: ten days to verify provider enrollment data. After officials were
- 20:53Speaker 1: able to easily identify more than a billion in unaccounted
- 20:58Speaker 1: for funds. Now, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services CMS,
- 21:05Speaker 1: the administrator in charge, Doctor Oz said he's no longer
- 21:09Speaker 1: going to allow this to work the way that it's
- 21:11Speaker 1: been working in the past, putting all state leaders that
- 21:15Speaker 1: includes Republican governors, on notice that they better root out
- 21:20Speaker 1: the rampant fraud in each of their states. He directed
- 21:23Speaker 1: them in this letter on Thursday, to take immediate action
- 21:28Speaker 1: within days to identify and to remove non compliant Medicaid providers,
- 21:34Speaker 1: saying this corrupt individuals and organizations masquer rating as healthcare
- 21:40Speaker 1: providers are defrauding Medicaid and American taxpayers of billions of
- 21:47Speaker 1: dollars each year, placing valuable resources out of reach for
- 21:52Speaker 1: those the program was truly intended to serve. Doctor Oz
- 21:56Speaker 1: went on to say low income, senior citizens and disabled individuals,
- 22:02Speaker 1: classes of providers with less rigorous enrollment standards, are the problem.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Doctor Oz, in the letter also went on to say
- 22:11Speaker 1: that all of the nation's fifty governors must comply. Now,
- 22:16Speaker 1: Oz has said, you've got ten business days, in other words,
- 22:20Speaker 1: two weeks to tell CMS whether they will commit to
- 22:25Speaker 1: conducting a swift revalidation of high risks Medicaid providers and
- 22:30Speaker 1: provide a proposed timetable alongside a separate thirty day deadline
- 22:36Speaker 1: for a broader provider revalidation strategy, escalating federal pressure on
- 22:43Speaker 1: each state to tighten anti fraud enforcement. What is very
- 22:47Speaker 1: clear from what doctor Oz has said is this is
- 22:50Speaker 1: not just a liberal state problem any longer. There probably
- 22:55Speaker 1: is major fraud in every state in America. Oz said
- 22:59Speaker 1: it is urgent that the action be taken immediately, and failure,
- 23:05Speaker 1: he says, to commit to the revalidation plan will be
- 23:09Speaker 1: considered as we evaluate the likelihood of fraud in each
- 23:14Speaker 1: state moving forward. Now, states must also submit within thirty
- 23:18Speaker 1: days a broader two year strategy outlining how they will
- 23:23Speaker 1: review healthcare providers for legitimacy as well as compliance. The
- 23:28Speaker 1: letter sent to the fifty governors all contain the same
- 23:31Speaker 1: information directions. No one got one letter different than another,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and even states that we know have been actively working
- 23:40Speaker 1: to root out fraud are still on notice across the board.
- 23:44Speaker 1: While the factors contributing to fraud are multifaceted and require
- 23:48Speaker 1: a comprehensive approach to address, doctor OZ wrote, a revalidation
- 23:54Speaker 1: process for the high risk providers will immediately deter criminal
- 23:59Speaker 1: actors from continuing their fraud schemes as the federal and
- 24:03Speaker 1: state governments closely review and scrutinize the qualifications of providers
- 24:08Speaker 1: to suspend or terminate clearly abuse of actors from the
- 24:13Speaker 1: program now. These letters target providers that are described as
- 24:18Speaker 1: high risk of waste, fraud, abuse and corruption, particularly those
- 24:23Speaker 1: with less rigorous enrollment and billing requirements, with CMS directing
- 24:28Speaker 1: those states to include any provider operating without a National
- 24:33Speaker 1: Provider identifier now.
- 24:36Speaker 3: A second letter was also sent out.
- 24:38Speaker 1: To each state's Medicaid director reiterating the call for a
- 24:43Speaker 1: revalidation strategy tailored to each state individually, saying this, our
- 24:50Speaker 1: analysis of national trends strongly suggests a persistent and growing
- 24:54Speaker 1: medicaid threat that is posed by sophisticated actors no exploiting
- 25:00Speaker 1: these complex systems to financial gain. Now, their proposals must
- 25:06Speaker 1: include a methodology and a timeline for off cycle provider revalidation,
- 25:12Speaker 1: with an emphasis, they say, on high risk providers and
- 25:15Speaker 1: those without the MPIs metrics to measure effectiveness in progress,
- 25:21Speaker 1: including public reporting processes for ongoing verification of provider information
- 25:27Speaker 1: and strategies, they say, to ensure consistency and accuracy of
- 25:32Speaker 1: provider data across fee for service and managed care systems.
- 25:36Speaker 1: They say, including oversight of managed care directories and coordination
- 25:41Speaker 1: with relevant law enforcement partners. Now, the last part of
- 25:45Speaker 1: that statement is what matters to you as a taxpayer?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Relevant law enforcement partners? Coordination? Why do they say that, Well,
- 25:54Speaker 1: it's very clear medicated fraud has been a particular interest
- 25:58Speaker 1: to the Trump administration given the massive fraud scandals that
- 26:01Speaker 1: we've already witnessed in Minnesota and California, and this push
- 26:06Speaker 1: for every state now comes a bit heightened focus on
- 26:09Speaker 1: these large scale fraud cases that included the two hundred
- 26:13Speaker 1: and fifty million, for example, for Feeding our Future scheme,
- 26:17Speaker 1: which became a national flashpoint after servicing in twenty twenty
- 26:20Speaker 1: two and has led to a wave of convictions in
- 26:23Speaker 1: recent years. Now, a separate state commission review of Minnesota's
- 26:28Speaker 1: Medicare program this year identified vulnerabilities across fourteen high risk
- 26:35Speaker 1: services and estimated that up to one point seven billion
- 26:41Speaker 1: in payments over four years were probably improper. Findings that
- 26:46Speaker 1: have intensified federal scrutinies and calls for even more reforms.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Now you also asked the question, how the hell do
- 26:54Speaker 1: we send one point seven billion in payments to fraud
- 26:58Speaker 1: in one state. Clearly these numbers were outside the norms
- 27:02Speaker 1: for the nation. And this is why, you know the
- 27:04Speaker 1: Democrats deliberately look the other way. Why would they do
- 27:08Speaker 1: it because the same fraudsers that were stealing your tax
- 27:11Speaker 1: dollars were giving some of that money back in campaign contributions,
- 27:16Speaker 1: aid in support to liberals that were elected officials. Now
- 27:20Speaker 1: we also are learning this CMS is also weighing medicaid
- 27:24Speaker 1: deferrals in states including California and New York and Maine,
- 27:30Speaker 1: signaling potential legal battles as federal and state officials are
- 27:33Speaker 1: now clashing over enforcement that's not being done by many
- 27:37Speaker 1: radicals on the left. Now, this goes back to one
- 27:41Speaker 1: of the core points from President Trump's campaign. He was
- 27:44Speaker 1: going to root out waste, fraud, and abuse. And what
- 27:49Speaker 1: we're witnessing right now is it's not just liberal states
- 27:53Speaker 1: where they're focusing. This is now a mandate to every
- 27:57Speaker 1: governor of every state because what they they realize is
- 28:00Speaker 1: there are too many bad actors out there, many of
- 28:04Speaker 1: them may be committing fraud in conservative states, and that's
- 28:07Speaker 1: exactly why the President and doctor Oz are now using
- 28:10Speaker 1: law enforcement and the power of the purse to say
- 28:14Speaker 1: you want federal dollars, you better be in compliance. Don't
