- 0:39Speaker 1: Joy. Yeah, Joy, you don't you know.
- 1:06Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I got to turn the mouth turn. You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 2: to turn the mouth out, turn the water the way up.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Look me come come out your think that?
- 2:01Speaker 4: Uh?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show. I was talking with my wife and she
- 2:14Speaker 6: said something her father always used to tell her, just
- 2:17Speaker 6: because you can do something don't mean you should do it.
- 2:20Speaker 6: I can't tell you how many times I've had to
- 2:22Speaker 6: learn that in my life. You know, just because you
- 2:25Speaker 6: can do something does not necessarily mean you should do it.
- 2:30Speaker 6: I could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean
- 2:34Speaker 6: I should do it. I could go here and set
- 2:37Speaker 6: the record straight a lot of times, but it don't
- 2:40Speaker 6: mean I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot
- 2:44Speaker 6: in that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship
- 2:50Speaker 6: with my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me
- 2:54Speaker 6: to learn even more how to stay still on a
- 2:57Speaker 6: lot of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the
- 3:01Speaker 6: hard way. I do want you to understand that that
- 3:03Speaker 6: sometimes it's better to be still. Sometimes it's better to
- 3:07Speaker 6: just let God handle the situation now. And I know
- 3:09Speaker 6: it's hard to say because we think as people, but
- 3:12Speaker 6: if I do this, I would feel better.
- 3:16Speaker 7: If I do this now, they'll feel how I feel.
- 3:20Speaker 1: See.
- 3:20Speaker 7: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:23Speaker 7: in my life.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
- 3:27Speaker 6: gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:30Speaker 6: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:32Speaker 6: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:34Speaker 6: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:36Speaker 6: just an old person just talking to me.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I didn't get it.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You know how your parents used to talk to you
- 3:41Speaker 6: and you didn't get it, and they used to always say, well,
- 3:43Speaker 6: wait till you have your own kids, you'll get it then,
- 3:46Speaker 6: And sure enough you got it then. Well I'm the
- 3:48Speaker 6: same way. I'm no different you know. I don't have
- 3:50Speaker 6: no different life than you. You know, I don't have
- 3:52Speaker 6: no different upbringing in you. I don't have no different
- 3:54Speaker 6: ways that I can live and you can't. You know,
- 3:57Speaker 6: I got to live by the same laws of the
- 3:59Speaker 6: land you got to live by. I gotta obey the
- 4:02Speaker 6: principles of success. If I want to be successful, I
- 4:04Speaker 6: gotta bam. And you know, if I want to go
- 4:06Speaker 6: to heaven, I gotta do what God tell me to
- 4:08Speaker 6: do as many times as I can. Now, you ain't
- 4:11Speaker 6: gonna get it all right, But he understand that, and
- 4:13Speaker 6: I just get on with the best I can. But
- 4:15Speaker 6: so many times, man, we get stuck right there, man,
- 4:21Speaker 6: worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across and
- 4:24Speaker 6: what you know, you know, kind of going around here
- 4:27Speaker 6: because I'm trying to find a way to tell you
- 4:29Speaker 6: this that you won't get twisted. The bottom line, you
- 4:32Speaker 6: gotta let go and let God. You have to allow
- 4:36Speaker 6: him to do it his way. See, I thought myself
- 4:39Speaker 6: to a certain point, but to go further, I had
- 4:42Speaker 6: to let God have it. I found out I wasn't
- 4:44Speaker 6: all that good a driver. I found out I wouldn't
- 4:47Speaker 6: all that good of a explore with a map.
- 4:51Speaker 1: So I had to let go.
- 4:52Speaker 6: I had to let God. And you gotta understand that
- 4:54Speaker 6: God works in mysterious ways. How often had I thought
- 4:58Speaker 6: it was over for me. But what God was doing
- 5:01Speaker 6: was he was teaching me a lesson. He was showing
- 5:04Speaker 6: me something that I.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Needed to know.
- 5:06Speaker 6: He was allowing me to experience some things. But he
- 5:09Speaker 6: didn't let me go under. You know how they say,
- 5:11Speaker 6: God and never put more on you than you can bear.
- 5:13Speaker 6: He won't let you go under you know. It's like
- 5:15Speaker 6: the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when I was
- 5:18Speaker 6: going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man, it
- 5:21Speaker 6: was really really man trying to destroy what I had
- 5:24Speaker 6: worked for in my family and this new life that
- 5:26Speaker 6: God had presented me. And the devil is busy. The
- 5:28Speaker 6: devil don't like to see you happy. So here he comes.
- 5:31Speaker 6: He puts you under attack, and he comes in and
- 5:33Speaker 6: that and everything, and my kids are suffering. But you know,
- 5:37Speaker 6: here comes God. Though see, God don't put more on
- 5:39Speaker 6: you than you can bear. And Bishop Olma sent me
- 5:42Speaker 6: a scripture, he sent me Isaiah forty three one and two.
- 5:46Speaker 6: And in that scripture it says to the effect that
- 5:49Speaker 6: you can walk through the water the rivers, and the
- 5:53Speaker 6: water won't overcome you. But then it said you can
- 5:56Speaker 6: walk through the fire and you will not get burned,
- 6:00Speaker 6: nor will kindling set upon your clothing. I learned something
- 6:04Speaker 6: very valuable that day. See, God sent me through something,
- 6:08Speaker 6: but he was showing me something too.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Now he didn't do it.
- 6:11Speaker 6: God didn't bring that calamity into my life because in
- 6:15Speaker 6: Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says clearly that if anyone
- 6:19Speaker 6: comes against you, it will not be my doing. Now,
- 6:22Speaker 6: this is what he promised you when people come for
- 6:25Speaker 6: you thought, see, and this is what I learned. That's
- 6:27Speaker 6: why I have no fear of the people coming anymore
- 6:29Speaker 6: because I learned that. But God had to send me
- 6:32Speaker 6: through a traumatic experience in order for me to learn that.
- 6:36Speaker 6: You can't have a testimony without a test.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You can't learn nothing without
- 6:41Speaker 1: a lesson.
- 6:41Speaker 6: So what he did was he allowed that internet thing
- 6:44Speaker 6: come across crossed into my life, but he taught me something.
- 6:46Speaker 6: And Isaiah forty three to one and two was and
- 6:49Speaker 6: you could walk through the fire and not get burned,
- 6:52Speaker 6: nor wal kindling set upon your clothing. So what that
- 6:54Speaker 6: said to me was, even though you trying to do
- 6:57Speaker 6: me and it's fire all around me, I won't burn.
- 7:01Speaker 6: But when it's over, kindling won't set upon your clothing.
- 7:04Speaker 6: What that showed me was not only would I walk
- 7:07Speaker 6: through the fire and not get burned, but there will
- 7:10Speaker 6: be no signs that I was ever in the fire.
- 7:13Speaker 6: There's no signs of it. But not hold up though
- 7:16Speaker 6: now here go to park. Though that I had to learn,
- 7:19Speaker 6: even though you can walk through the fire, y'all, and
- 7:21Speaker 6: even though you're being flames and scorching all around you,
- 7:24Speaker 6: if you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn.
- 7:26Speaker 6: But now hear what he did not say. Though he
- 7:29Speaker 6: did not say that it was not going to be
- 7:33Speaker 6: uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He ain't say that.
- 7:38Speaker 6: He just said you won't burn, and when it's over,
- 7:41Speaker 6: it won't be no signs that you was in the fire.
- 7:43Speaker 6: See what happened to me was after they tried to
- 7:45Speaker 6: destroy me, let me show you what God did for me.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Not only did they not accomplish what they set out
- 7:51Speaker 6: to do, but when it was through with me, though,
- 7:53Speaker 6: when they was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire,
- 7:57Speaker 6: throwing the hate and writing it and lining and creating
- 8:00Speaker 6: all these names for themselves so it could look like
- 8:03Speaker 6: most people is hating, when they got.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Through it all that, man, Look what he did to me.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Look what he did, fummy, because he taught me something
- 8:11Speaker 6: that day, and I'm sharing it with you because God
- 8:14Speaker 6: will do the same thing for you. But you gotta
- 8:17Speaker 6: trust him though. You got to get in there, and
- 8:19Speaker 6: you got to let him do it. You gotta let
- 8:21Speaker 6: him handle it. So, just like Pop Bridge just taught
- 8:23Speaker 6: my wife Marjorie, just because you can do something, don't
- 8:26Speaker 6: mean y'all to do something. Yeah you could go down
- 8:28Speaker 6: there and straighten them out, but should you though? Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 6: you can go down there and tell them all. Yeah,
- 8:33Speaker 6: you can go down stand up and make sure they
- 8:34Speaker 6: know it's your voice, that they hear it, and you
- 8:37Speaker 6: can get in their face and make a scene.
- 8:39Speaker 7: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:43Speaker 7: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 6: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 6: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:49Speaker 6: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:52Speaker 6: watch you you go out there with. But you can
- 8:54Speaker 6: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 6: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Hold up, partner, hold on thing what we're down here doing.
- 9:01Speaker 6: So see, sometimes man, you gotta let go, and you
- 9:03Speaker 6: gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
- 9:07Speaker 6: and you get in there and do the things that
- 9:08Speaker 6: he tell you to do. See bish Rowman and taught
- 9:11Speaker 6: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:14Speaker 6: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 6: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:19Speaker 6: definition of how do you know it's God's voice talking
- 9:22Speaker 6: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 6: has no sining in it. Whenever you're talking about i'ma go,
- 9:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back. If
- 9:33Speaker 6: it's sining in it, God ain't in it.
- 9:35Speaker 1: See that's you. Now.
- 9:37Speaker 6: God's voice has no sining in it. So when you
- 9:40Speaker 6: say God told me, be careful because God ain't never
- 9:45Speaker 6: told you to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what
- 9:47Speaker 6: he told you. And I learned that too. It's a lot.
- 9:51Speaker 6: So I'm just sharing today. I hope it helps somebody
- 9:53Speaker 6: today get through a difficult time because the show has
- 9:56Speaker 6: helped me.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Ladies, gentlemen, monkeys, really, tigers, lions and bads.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Oh my, oh my, what a great day it is. Man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: You know, I.
- 10:23Speaker 6: At God, Man, he is really all of that. I
- 10:27Speaker 6: just can't believe how he does it repeatedly.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Over and over and over.
- 10:31Speaker 6: These new days. It's just amazing. I don't take them
- 10:34Speaker 6: for granted. I guess it's because my age. Now, I'm
- 10:37Speaker 6: so much more appreciative of being alive, because I think
- 10:39Speaker 6: all of us in this bracket right now, we've seen
- 10:42Speaker 6: so many people.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Everybody's lost a loved one by now, and I think
- 10:46Speaker 1: we all grieve from it.
- 10:48Speaker 6: But man, oh man, oh man, what a blessing it
- 10:50Speaker 6: is that you still hear you know, you might be hurting,
- 10:53Speaker 6: but you still here and as long as God wakes
- 10:56Speaker 6: you up that He still has a purpose for you.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Now, I'm just gonna go live it. That's my job
- 11:01Speaker 7: is to live in that purpose.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Find it.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Help me God order my steps today, and I expect great.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Things to happen. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:09Speaker 6: Steve Harvey, Mortis Show, Shirley Strawberry, Colline for Real, Mississippi,
- 11:12Speaker 6: Monica Junior and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junr.
- 11:18Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what's on my man. Is
- 11:20Speaker 8: it okay to kill dreams? Can we kill people dream?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Is it okay to kill him? He do it all
- 11:26Speaker 1: the time.
- 11:27Speaker 9: I just wanna make sure that it's okay.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Wow, they need to know, you know. Is it more
- 11:38Speaker 1: to this question, Junior. Yeah, I'm just saying.
- 11:40Speaker 8: I got a cousin talking about, you know, he want
- 11:42Speaker 8: to be a model now. He forty four, and he
- 11:45Speaker 8: told me he thinking about going in the monol because
- 11:46Speaker 8: I'm in comedy.
- 11:47Speaker 9: And I told him, what folk? Because you look like
- 11:50Speaker 9: you look like me? We got the same granddaddy, What
- 11:53Speaker 9: the hell? Why is you modeling if you're.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Forty years old and nobody's ever told you you're cute?
- 12:01Speaker 6: If you're forty years old and you never heard manyo,
- 12:05Speaker 6: but you got the body of a model. You might,
- 12:08Speaker 6: but at forty you might not be able to walk
- 12:10Speaker 6: like you got to fotch her the model no more.
- 12:12Speaker 6: It's a lot of stuff can go down. That's an
- 12:14Speaker 6: age limit to all of this right here. So yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 6: I just I asked people questions when they say stuff
- 12:21Speaker 6: don't sound right. It was a lady in the audience
- 12:26Speaker 6: one day on the asked Steve. She stood up and
- 12:29Speaker 6: said she wants to chase her dreams. The kids was
- 12:31Speaker 6: out the house. All her kids were grown now, and
- 12:36Speaker 6: she wanted to go on and pursue her singing career.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So I said, have you ever had a singing career before?
- 12:42Speaker 1: She said no?
- 12:43Speaker 6: I said, so, can I ask Cayl? She said four
- 12:48Speaker 6: fifty four? I said, well, let me ask you a question.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Have you ever seen a record company do a three
- 12:56Speaker 6: record deal with a fifty four year old person that
- 13:01Speaker 6: don't nobody know? Now, they might give Charlie Wilson one,
- 13:04Speaker 6: the old Jade one, they gonna give Ozy or Ron
- 13:07Speaker 6: Eveley one because they still got it. Have you ever
- 13:11Speaker 6: seen them give a fifty four year old person a
- 13:13Speaker 6: three record deal? She said, well, I haven't heard of that,
- 13:16Speaker 6: but that don't mean it can happen. Well, the reason
- 13:18Speaker 6: they don't give out three record deals to fifty four
- 13:20Speaker 6: year old people because they don't really think you're gonna
- 13:23Speaker 6: be here to make the third out.
- 13:25Speaker 3: You know what, really, dream that's a dream killer right there,
- 13:32Speaker 3: dream weavers?
- 13:36Speaker 10: All right, guys, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:40Speaker 10: the hour, we got the pastors with the word Reverend

- 15:44Speaker 1: I would never read from that book for you, I
- 15:47Speaker 1: know that. But this is the Book of Whitney. It
- 15:50Speaker 1: stays that we started with the press versus a few
- 15:53Speaker 1: stolen moments.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Is all that we shall stop right there. We were
- 15:59Speaker 6: so well, we wasn't supposed to be read. You got
- 16:04Speaker 6: your family and they need you there, stop right there.
- 16:10Speaker 6: You got people counting on you.

- 16:17Speaker 6: I tried to resist being last on your list, but
- 16:24Speaker 6: no other man's gonna do. Stop right there. You've been
- 16:30Speaker 6: bringing it, you've been putting it done. Yeah, I've tried
- 16:37Speaker 6: to resist. But if you fry my bacon just right, yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 6: extra crispy every time.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Read, So I'm saving all my love for you. Stop
- 16:56Speaker 1: right there, thank you?
- 16:57Speaker 6: Yeah man, all right, I'm not It's not very easy
- 17:05Speaker 6: living all along now, stop right there. I understand it
- 17:10Speaker 6: ain't easy, but you show came moving with me.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Read my friends, try and tell me find a man
- 17:19Speaker 1: of my own? Stop right there? Did not you just say.
- 17:26Speaker 6: You know you ain't opposed to Yeah, you know it
- 17:29Speaker 6: ain't right, Yeah, but you can't resist it. Tell that
- 17:33Speaker 6: to your friend They probably buy themself to read.
- 17:37Speaker 1: But each time I try, I just break down and
- 17:41Speaker 1: cry because I'd rather be home feeling blue.
- 17:47Speaker 6: So I'm saving all my love for you. Stop right there, Yes, sir,
- 17:54Speaker 6: and this is our business. Yes, Oh, this is so
- 18:00Speaker 6: there we got going on? That's right, that's right.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I didn't ask your friends, could I have you in

- 18:11Speaker 1: friends trying.
- 18:12Speaker 6: To in it. I'm even wondering why your friends is
- 18:16Speaker 6: even in it? That all I told you not to
- 18:19Speaker 6: tell nobody shot on got over there and got good
- 18:23Speaker 6: to you.
- 18:24Speaker 1: What your bacon fried?
- 18:25Speaker 5: You like?
- 18:25Speaker 6: You like it?
- 18:26Speaker 1: It started running your mouth.
- 18:28Speaker 6: Now everybody got an opinion about what all to do,
- 18:31Speaker 6: hard to do it and how you ought to get it?
- 18:34Speaker 6: Stay home by yourself and be blue, and saved all.
- 18:39Speaker 1: That love for who you said it will for. We
- 18:44Speaker 1: come you used to You used to tell me we'd
- 18:48Speaker 1: run away together. Start right there, stop right there. You
- 18:52Speaker 1: knew our line when I said that read love gives
- 19:01Speaker 1: you the right to be free. You said be patient,
- 19:06Speaker 1: just wait a little longer. But that's just an old fantasy.
- 19:11Speaker 7: Shaw right there.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Ain't you been waiting? Yes, ain't it been a little longer? Yes?
- 19:17Speaker 1: And hand everything going read. I got to get ready

- 37:46Speaker 1: so much more than just another suv. Visithyndai USA dot com.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I'll call five six two three one four four six
- 37:54Speaker 1: zero three for more details.
- 37:57Speaker 10: So, guys, wrapper akons wife Tamika reportedly filed for divorce
- 38:03Speaker 10: on Friday, and his second wife, Amira, ended up having
- 38:07Speaker 10: to set the record straight about which wife was leaving
- 38:10Speaker 10: the marriage. Aikon and Tamika were married back in twenty
- 38:13Speaker 10: sixteen and are reportedly splitting because of quote irreconcilable differences.
- 38:19Speaker 10: When an image surfaced online of Akon and his second wife, Amra,
- 38:23Speaker 10: the second wife, took to Instagram to clear up the confusion.
- 38:27Speaker 10: She stated that she and Aikon are still happily married
- 38:31Speaker 10: and they have been together for ten years. She also
- 38:34Speaker 10: confirmed that Akon only only has two wives. Okay, he
- 38:39Speaker 10: only has two, not four, and multiple marriages is a
- 38:43Speaker 10: cultural thing for them. Okay, so it's not a total
- 38:46Speaker 10: loss for Akon. He still has one wife left. Do
- 38:50Speaker 10: you see this as a benefit having multiple wife?
- 38:54Speaker 3: If it were legal, would you do it?
- 38:55Speaker 5: So?
- 38:55Speaker 1: You mean yes? God, I'm sorry, excuse my battles.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Oh did you mean respond?
- 39:04Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 39:05Speaker 1: No, no, very excited, very very happy.
- 39:10Speaker 3: What a cun Yeah?

- 39:20Speaker 1: I'm not picking up the bill.
- 39:25Speaker 10: So, Steve, is it a benefit to having multiple wives?
- 39:28Speaker 10: Is there any benefit to that?
- 39:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't see it.
- 39:33Speaker 3: And why don't you see it?
- 39:35Speaker 10: You're you're rare in that regard, because a lot of
- 39:37Speaker 10: men would say they do see it having more than
- 39:39Speaker 10: one wife had divorces.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I can't.
- 39:43Speaker 6: I can't deal with one. I want, Yeah, I knowing, Hell,
- 39:49Speaker 6: I can put two people in here because I'm I'm
- 39:53Speaker 6: it's taking everything I got just for one. Yeah, trying
- 39:58Speaker 6: to make this one happy. It's full time.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Man.
- 40:03Speaker 7: The only the benefit to this marriage is this girl
- 40:07Speaker 7: right here.
- 40:08Speaker 6: Man genuinely, genuinely cares about me. And I know it
- 40:14Speaker 6: in the depths of my soul that this girl would
- 40:17Speaker 6: protect me and not let nothing happen to me. And
- 40:19Speaker 6: I don't care what. I don't have to worry about that.
- 40:23Speaker 6: I ain't always had that feeling.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So, but see, I don't. I just don't know how
- 40:30Speaker 1: to breach the conversation. I don't know how to open it.
- 40:34Speaker 6: What do you mean you can't you can't bring that up.
- 40:38Speaker 6: I'm going ahead tell this crazy person I'm married too.
- 40:40Speaker 6: I'm finn to bring another woman in here, and she
- 40:43Speaker 6: finla lived here?
- 40:44Speaker 1: What you tell me, how would you do it together?
- 40:48Speaker 1: I don't have it.
- 40:49Speaker 6: I don't have a look at it like this. I
- 40:52Speaker 6: don't have a chick for late wife. I gotta I
- 40:54Speaker 6: got a popeye work at window, wife.

- 43:05Speaker 12: four girlfriends.
- 43:07Speaker 3: So you know, this polyamory thing.
- 43:09Speaker 10: This multiple wife thing, it's cultural with Akon, but people
- 43:13Speaker 10: are into it, these relationships with more than one person.
- 43:17Speaker 3: I want to ask you how you feel about that.

- 56:45Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:47Speaker 10: Thank you, nephew. He shouldn't be in my purse. Dear
- 56:50Speaker 10: Stephen Shirley, I've been married for a very long time
- 56:53Speaker 10: to a man that has taken me to hell and back.
- 56:57Speaker 10: Early in our marriage he stepped out of me twice,
- 57:00Speaker 10: and I'm sure there have been other incidences of infidelity
- 57:04Speaker 10: since then, but I'm not as eager to do the
- 57:06Speaker 10: snooping and searching for clues anymore.
- 57:09Speaker 6: But he is.
- 57:11Speaker 10: He's got a problem with accepting that I'm not a
- 57:13Speaker 10: cheater and he should stop expecting me to mess around
- 57:16Speaker 10: on him. He hasn't been the same since I got
- 57:19Speaker 10: a weight loss procedure and I reclaimed my youth and
- 57:22Speaker 10: I almost got back to my pre baby weight. I
- 57:27Speaker 10: got my confidence back, and I started hanging around a
- 57:30Speaker 10: younger female coworker.
- 57:32Speaker 3: I have told him I'm mentoring the young.
- 57:34Speaker 10: Lady because she's clueless on the subject of sex and
- 57:37Speaker 10: how a man should treat her. He thinks I'm going
- 57:40Speaker 10: to get a younger man and run away with him
- 57:42Speaker 10: just because I'm hanging with a twenty seven year old coworker.
- 57:46Speaker 10: Here's a deal, and I need your advice on how
- 57:49Speaker 10: to handle it. I took my coworker to my gynecologist
- 57:53Speaker 10: because she was having a feminine issue. She had never
- 57:57Speaker 10: been to a doctor. She was raised by her grandmother,
- 58:00Speaker 10: but that's a different story anyway. I took her to
- 58:03Speaker 10: the doctor and she got a terrible diagnosis. So I
- 58:06Speaker 10: took it upon myself to help her get on the
- 58:08Speaker 10: right track. I paid for her medication for her, and
- 58:12Speaker 10: I picked up a pack of condoms and some more
- 58:14Speaker 10: personal items for her. I put it all in my
- 58:17Speaker 10: purse so mister Nosey's husband wouldn't see it. I have
- 58:21Speaker 10: no privacy anywhere in the house. I'm not sure what
- 58:24Speaker 10: got into him, but he rummaged through my bag and
- 58:27Speaker 10: laid the condoms and the bottle of other stuff on
- 58:30Speaker 10: the nightstand for me to see. I was livid, and
- 58:35Speaker 10: I told him I didn't owe him an explanation. I
- 58:38Speaker 10: don't care if he thinks I'm cheating on him or not.
- 58:41Speaker 10: Should I explain it or let him suffer? Well, now,
- 58:44Speaker 10: you just said you didn't care, but it sounds like
- 58:46Speaker 10: you do care. But isn't it interesting though that he's
- 58:51Speaker 10: managed to turn this all around on you? But then again,
- 58:55Speaker 10: that's what cheaters do, don't they. Your husband knows all
- 58:58Speaker 10: the dirt he did. He's just suspicious of you now,
- 59:01Speaker 10: and like you say, he can't accept the fact that
- 59:03Speaker 10: you're not cheating just because you know you went and
- 59:07Speaker 10: got your youth back. As you say, no matter what
- 59:10Speaker 10: you do, he's gonna think that he's judging you by
- 59:12Speaker 10: his actions. Cheaters think they know all the cheater moves
- 59:16Speaker 10: and all of that, And now he thinks he found
- 59:19Speaker 10: proof in your purse. And I gotta say that does
- 59:21Speaker 10: look bad with you carrying around some condoms in your purse.
- 59:25Speaker 10: If you were cheating, there would be nothing you could
- 59:28Speaker 10: say because you'd be busted. So should you tell him
- 59:31Speaker 10: the truth? That's what you're asking? I say, ask yourself this,
- 59:34Speaker 10: If you tell him, is it going to stop his accusations?
- 59:38Speaker 10: Is it going to make him stop snooping in your bag?
- 59:40Speaker 10: I think the answer is probably not, because the trust
- 59:44Speaker 10: in your entire marriage has been broken for a long time,
- 59:47Speaker 10: first by him, and now he thinks it's you. So
- 59:51Speaker 10: sure you could tell him the truth, but he probably
- 59:53Speaker 10: won't believe you anyway. Those condoms were in your purse
- 59:57Speaker 10: and you told him you didn't owe him an explain nation.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: So what do you want out of this?
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: That's the question. Do you want to stay in this marriage?
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: Do you want to stay here? Is explaining about the
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: girl you helped and all that? Is that going to
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: fix this marriage? I mean, surely you don't want it
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: to go back the way it was what you're dealing
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: with now, Surely you don't want that. I think this
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: is a much deeper issue. So I say, think about
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: these questions, and that's going to give you your answer
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: whether you want to stay here, deal with this all
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: of that, otherwise your marriage is doomed.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: Steve, surely, really good answer. I absolutely agree with everything
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: you absolutely said this letter. So you kind of leave
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: me with no other choice. I almost now dig deeply,
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: do what you do in between the lines to find
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: out some other issues in this letter. Else I'm just
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: gonna be repeating what Shirley said. That won't allow you
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: to see my guilt. So let me use my gift.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: I've been married for a very long time to a
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: man that has taken me to hel and back. Well,
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: now let's just stop right here. You've been married a
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: long time to a man that took you to hell
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: and back.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Woo.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: That's a strong way to open the letter. So based
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: on that right there, I think some of this is paidback.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: I think some of this he bought on himself, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: I think some of this you're using being vindictive, and
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: I think some of you is just nine nine and
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: nine now, and all of this has got he got
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: all this coming. So let's go right here.
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: He's cheated on.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: Me twice, and it's pretty sure there's been more incidents
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: but everything. But you know, and now he got a
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: problem accepting that you're a cheater. And he had stopped
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: expecting you to mess around.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Because that's not how you are. But now he ain't
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: been the same. And now let us here we go.
- 1:02:05Speaker 13: Since I got a weight loss procedure and reclaimed my youth,
- 1:02:13Speaker 13: let's dig a little bit deeper into what the possibilities
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: of a weight loss procedure.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: Let's go now, weight loss procedures is a few things
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: you can go to get your fat frozen, go through
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: that process. A lot of people have talked about how
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: painful that is. You can go with light pos suction,
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: which appears to be a weight loss procedure. All you
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: can get that rubber band put on your stomach. I
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: don't know what they call that because I haven't looked
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: into that, but those are the things you're doing.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I hold it right there.
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: is he shouldn't be in my purse, and we'll get
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: back into it right after this, you're listening the Steve
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone, quick health question. Even though
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did you know
- 1:03:27Speaker 10: your immune system weakens with age. That's where vaccines come in.
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: They help train and strengthen your immune response to fight
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: off certain respiratory illnesses like flu, newmacaccle, pneumonia, RSV, and
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines you
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: need and visit vaxsist dot com that's vaexsist dot com
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve.
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is he shouldn't
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: be in my purse.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: This is a letter about the woman that's been married
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: a long time, whose man has taken her to hell
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: and back. But now he's uh and then cheated on
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: this woman more than twice, several times she expected and
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: but he's looking for clues for her to see if
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: he cheating.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: And all this started when she got a weight loss procedure.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: That's either getting her fat froze liposuction or getting the
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: rubber band put on her stomach.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Either way, she says, I'm almost.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Back to my pre baby weight. Whoo that girl.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: Okay, that's a comeback, baby, when you get back to
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: the pre baby weight, that's a comeback. She'd have made
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: a comeback after all these years. And now she fine.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She said.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: She's gotten her confidence back. Now she walking around in
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: front of you like you stink. See that's what that is,
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: you know, walking around in front of you, switching all stuff,
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: putting on clothes. She down there shopping there forever twenty one.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: She all up in there show now that BB buying stuff.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: You know, she all down there in the Missus department
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: and juniors. She don't even go up on the top
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: floor no more. She get off with the teenagers. Is
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: that she didn't just buying stuff right here? So all right,
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: now we got that. And she started hanging around a younger,
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: free male coworker. And you've told your husband that you're
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: mentoring a young lady because she's clueless on the subject
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: of sex and how a man should treat her. Now,
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: you married to a man that took you to hell
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: in back, so you may not know how a man
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: is supposed to treat you, but you sure know how
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: you ain't supposed to be treated. And I've always said
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: my Daddy told me knowing what not to do it's
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: just as important.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: As knowing what to do.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: So you are qualified in that area. Now on the
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: subject of sex, I don't know you, whether you qualified
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: or not. You I don't know what you're teaching her all,
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: but you know you haven't mentioned that in the letter.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: I'm just trying to find stuff Shirley ain't talked about.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: So now he thinks I'm trying to get a younger
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: man and run away with him just because I'm hanging
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: with a twenty seven year old coworker. Here's the deal.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: I need your advice on how to hand it. I
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: took my coworker to my guy to college just because
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: she was having a feminine issue. I don't know anything
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: about this, so I just go to reserve any thoughts
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: for that, because that's not my lane. She had never
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: been to a doctor. For you, a woman, you probably
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: need to go see a guy in colleges somewhere around
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: in him. I'm assuming that you should have been in
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: seen one because you all have different things going on
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: that I know nothing about. She was raised by her grandmother,
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: but that's a different story. Anyway, I took her to
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: the doctor and she got a terrible diagnosis, so I
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: took it upon myself to help get her on the
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: right track.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I don't know what the diagnosis could have been.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: I'm not even gonna get into what I think it
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: is because I'm probably gonna be wrong about that and
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: piss a lot of women off. So let's just Uncle
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: Steve know how to stay away from certain subjects. What
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: the terrible diagnosis from the guy in the colleges is?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I know, good in here?
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Well, not to put my footed not don't stick your
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: toe in this puddle poject because they fit to hate
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: your So I'm gonna stay off that, right, So she said,
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: I paid for her medication for her, and I picked
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: up a pack of condoms and some more personal items
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: for her. Now, I don't know what happened at the
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: guy of colleges that made you pick up a pack
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: of condoms and some more personal items. But now here's
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: where I come in at because you did say condoms.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: I have bought those before, so I feel like now
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: you gonna tell you whatever. Yeah, whatever the diagnosis she
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: got and your remedy was to pay for the medication.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: That means something is terribly wrong.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: But your end of it is you gonna get her
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: a pack of condoms and some more personal items. I'm
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: assuming that you thinking that a condom will at least
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: help with this medical issue.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Fact that she.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: Got because somebody be done something without a condom and
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: to produce a terrible medical results.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: So now you need to start protecting yourself. Can I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: say that, ladies? That's fair? Okay?
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Cool?
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: I put it all in my perse so mister nosey
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: husband wouldn't see it. I ain't got no privacy in
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: the house nowhere. I'm not sure what got into it,
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: but he started rummaging through my bag.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Now we have a.
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: Or or we have on this show, a professional rummage
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: on this show who goes through things when it comes
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: through the set, Like if anybody get a gift basket
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: anything Mississippi Monarcy stars rumming drummings. Your husband is one
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: of them people. So I don't really give it how
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: your husband feeling about this. I'm more concerned about that
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: bottle of stuff that was next to the condom. Time
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: very curious as bottle of stuff. If that was a medication,
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: I think I know what it was. Just talk to
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: y'all tomorrow and the strawberry that I have none else.
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: All right, leave your comments then today's Strawberry Letter at

- 1:11:41Speaker 5: No?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: But I did see.
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: When I came home, I was out in the bottom
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: and my husband was sitting down on the couch and
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: I said, how did Texans do?
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: He was like.
- 1:11:51Speaker 10: One more time, one more time to say the question
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: and his response, Texans dude, he said.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: The child Jacksonville beat them.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: That's Steven said. He had to say, that's why you
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: feel that way?
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: No, surely it was twenty some seconds of the game.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Were driving. C. J.
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: Stroud throws an interception and they pick it off at
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: the goal line. That's what I knew.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I said, this is it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: This is the only way we're gonna this is how
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: we're gonna end it. This is how we played.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Were not they terrible? Junior? Let's just you just gotta
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: They're bad. They're really bad. They're horrible. You know what
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: I think about it? And I can only say this
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: why I can only say this, why stevens in the bathroom.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: They are really bad.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: They really are.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: They really are this business.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Let's get passed for us before he get back.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: He's coming back because the grounds one we don't want
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: to hear none of that. The old thing is this,
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: does anybody have an idea when basketball start?
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: Do we know?
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: Asking y'all, do we know October October?
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: What? I don't know what he wanted the first day.
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: I need to be there the first day. This is
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: not what I'm finna do.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: I had my jersey on and then I took my
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: jersey off and I'm just sitting here in my tank top.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: I just I'm not doing this much.
- 1:13:18Speaker 15: Well, let me say this. How about them cowboys that
- 1:13:23Speaker 15: made me feel that they lost? That made me feel
- 1:13:26Speaker 15: a whole lot better. I want to say thank you
- 1:13:29Speaker 15: to Chicago bear Thank you, Chicago bear Down, Bear Down, because.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: They did that.
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: I did the only Joe I had. I had ice
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: cream watching that game. I was having a great time.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: All right, Well, thank you. I guess you got it
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: off your chest.
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: Junior.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: You feel better?
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: Basketball start coming up at the top.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Of the hour.
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: Lady needs some answers for her dad, who told her
- 1:13:59Speaker 10: boy friend to dump her.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: What We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:14:10Speaker 10: from Janelle in Virginia Beach Steve. She says, I was
- 1:14:13Speaker 10: dating a guy that worked for my dad, and my
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: dad told him to break up with me. I went
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: to my dad and politely asked him to stay out
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: of my affairs, and I reminded him that I'm grown.
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: My dad said that it is in my best interest
- 1:14:28Speaker 10: to stop dating my guy. But he wouldn't tell me
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: why my ex and I are so in love. But
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: he said he has to respect my dad. Why is
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: he allowing my dad to break up our relationship because.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: His dad got his money.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Or her dad?
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: Yeah, your daddy got his money for the dad. Your
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: daddy got his check the next one. If he cut
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: that off, if he don't do it to daddy, say
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: he lose his job. Now, what you really need to
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: do is ask your father why is he so insistent
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: in that. Stop saying stay out your business because he
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: in it. He could be in it for a reason,
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: and your boyfriend or whoever your ex or whatever you
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: call it him could know that your father knows some
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: stuff about him and it's best that you don't know.
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: If this is the broach you should take. You used
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: to say, Dad, can I have a really really honest
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: conversation with me with you? And he's gonna say, yeah, Baby,
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: tell me exactly why I need to stop seeing him,
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: and just tell me the truth dad, so I can know. Well,
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: he got a whole nother family. The boy man got
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: four kids over here. Because I have seen the pictures
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: that are and the child supposed to come out of
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: his chair, but he still lived with the woman. Now
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: that's why I ain't want you to know that, baby girl.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: But that's it, okay, and that's it makes sense, all right?
- 1:16:10Speaker 10: Moving on, we do have time for another one. This
- 1:16:12Speaker 10: is from Lathan in Springfield. Lathan says, I brought it
- 1:16:16Speaker 10: to my wife's attention that we both have gained weight
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: and we need to start working out together. I overheard
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: her telling her girlfriend that I think she's getting fat
- 1:16:27Speaker 10: and she needs to work out. I told her that's
- 1:16:30Speaker 10: not what I said. I said we need to work out.
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: I said it because I love her, So how could
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: she be upset?
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Was I wrong?
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: Because she no, you just said we because you wanted
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: it to be huh all from the bron bruh is
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: no way you can fix this. The moment you approached
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: her about her weight, this was going to be the
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: reaction as she to her girl. But now here's a
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: good thing. When they take it to the girl, they
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: opened it and for discussion. She's considering it.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Girl.
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: He told me I was fat and I need to
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: lose weight.
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: Because that's the part she heard, she didn't she didn't
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: hear the part where you said, look, baby, we gain weight.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: We need to start going to the gym. Because she
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: know really that you just said the we so you
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: could soften the blow. And so it's nothing you could.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: You can't get this back.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Yeah, for a man to just even mention weight, I.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Don't even have a weight. I don't even have a suggestion,
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: no way to bring it up. I just leave it alone.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: You can't say, have I gained a couple of pounds?
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: You think I've gained put on a couple of pounds.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I don't see that. Smart man to you, and you've
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: been talking to yourself. You know you didn't gang three four?
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: How you ain't gain No? Wait, you can't wear nothing
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: you used.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: To last week? Come on.
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: Last week? Come on there inside thoughts that shall yeah all.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: He is that thoughts.
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: I tell you what you can't do, like for Valentine's Day,
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: you can't get it. What Valentine's Day you cannot get here?
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: No track shoes don't do that much. I've done it,
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: you have, Oh I've done that before. Oh yeah, I
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: bought a girl some track shoes for Valentine's.
- 1:18:43Speaker 10: Oh goodness, all right, guys, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: twenty minutes after. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey

- 1:22:37Speaker 6: fear of walking outside in the night with a flashlight
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: because you got to use the toilet. You don't even

- 1:23:15Speaker 6: wood with the hole cut in it, and that's six
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: feet deep trench. Dug ain't no flushing. You just use

- 1:23:25Speaker 6: clean yourself and walk out.
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: When you go back in there, it's still right there.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: If somebody go right behind it, if they got to go,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: if somebody got to go behind the right yah, yeah

- 1:25:14Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:17Speaker 10: the day on this Monday start of the week.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: Yeah, a good show, Steve.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: Today.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: It's going to be something I've never done before. My
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: closing remarks today is till my morning show staff, who
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: I've worked with the entire time, who has held me
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: down over the years, supported me or encouraged me, uplifted me.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: But there's another side to this morning show that I've
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: never pulled the curtain back on, and I think it's turned.
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: Sometimes in my busy life, I find myself drifting off
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: from time to time, not being fully in engaged. Well,
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: the three police on that show is Mississippi Monica, Shirley
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: Strawberry and Carl of for real. And then they admonish
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: me on commercial breaks, brate me, break me down, make
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: me feel inadequate, and then when I come back to
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: be more engaging, all of a sudden, I'm too much,
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: you said, Why'd you say that? Because I'm too much?
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: Let me give you the most recent example. I was
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: texting a business conversation during one of the segments about
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: hip hop. I'm not really engaged because I don't really
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: know hip hop. So I let the experts junior call
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: her talk about hip hop because they more it's their
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: generation and more engaged, and I kind of like, I
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: just pulled myself away. Well then we come back and
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: they tell me on the commercial break that you've got
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: to be more engaging, so I was.
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: I said, okay, So we come back and we're doing
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: a would you rather?
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: And the question was, Shirley, do you remember the question
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: would you rather have indoor toilet?
- 1:27:12Speaker 10: Or what would you rather have? A live in a
- 1:27:15Speaker 10: house with no heat or a house with no indoor toilet.
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: I felt the necessary to engage because on this show
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: I happened to be the only one who has ever
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: used an outdoor toilet.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Well, as I began to express.
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: My feelings about being outside as a six year old
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: in the dark with a flashlight, trying to disembowel myself
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: calmly so I can get back to the house, all
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: of a sudden I saw the hate come from my styff,
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: you are too much?
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Why are you talking about that?
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: Because I'm the only one on this show who has
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: ever had to drag himself across a dirt road with
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: a flashlight at six years old, to sit up on
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: a wooden plank with a hole in it and use
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: the bathroom, get up and walk back across that dark
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: road into my house. Who else do you know has
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: had to do that at six? Do you know the
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: level of manhood it takes to cross a dark road?
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: Pull your past down, sit on a plank of wood
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: with a hole in it, six years old, relieve yourself,
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: fix yourself and walk back across the street.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: I've been a man every since I was six years old.
