- 0:01Good morning everyone this is dina from the roi
- 0:04blue candle also known as mentor 365 services
- 0:08and today's topic i want to discuss about
- 0:11when we are broken who do we
- 0:14turn to i turn to god so here
- 0:17we go today i want
- 0:20to speak the truth that often sits at the edge of our
- 0:23heart sometimes life shattered if you
- 0:26are feeling broken today you are not alone there are
- 0:28seasons when the weight of sorrow fear guilt disappointment or
- 0:32loss seems more than we can bear and in
- 0:35those moments it's easy to believe we are beyond repair
- 0:38or that god has forgotten us brokenness
- 0:42however is not a sign of weakness or failure it
- 0:46is honest it is real and it's a proper place
- 0:49to start seeking truth and healing in these
- 0:52moments naming what's broken becomes a first brave step maybe you can carry
- 0:57pain in your heart or in your body and it feels like it's been stretched beyond
- 1:04its capacity or your mind spirals with worry and shame.
- 1:10Perhaps relationships are strained or your plans have collapsed.
- 1:15So I've known those hours when the room felt very heavy,
- 1:20when I whisper prayers that sounded more like questions than statement when
- 1:26I needed to be reminded that God sees the ache behind the mask and the loves the person beneath.
- 1:33It's more than moments pain could convey.
- 1:37Psalms give language for those states the Lord is close to the brokenhearted
- 1:41and saves those who are crushed in spirit and Paul's words remind us that my
- 1:48grace is sufficient for you For my power is made perfect in weakness.
- 1:53If you are honest with yourself, you know where you feel broken today.
- 1:58In your body, in your heart, in your mind, in your relationship,
- 2:03in your plans for the future.
- 2:05You may carry an ache you have never spoken aloud or fear you have tucked away for only you to hear.
- 2:15As we acknowledge our brokenness We open space for truth that often arrives in our quiet.
- 2:24God doesn't measure healing by speed or by polish we looked on outside.
- 2:29He meets us right where we are, in our fragility, with mercy that never runs out.
- 2:35He sees you in the broken places and loves you in a way that does not discount
- 2:40the hurt, but offers the strength to endure it.
- 2:44Healing, too, often comes gradually. And it's not a sprint, but a slow,
- 2:50steady restoration. one where every small faithful step matters.
- 2:56To help imagine this process, picture a mosaic.
- 3:00Each broken piece has color and place. When God takes those pieces and fits
- 3:05them together, the final image can be more astonishing than original.
- 3:11In those moments, God promised, Do not fear, for I am with you.
- 3:16Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
- 3:20Assure us that He will strengthen, help, and uphold us with His righteous right hand.
- 3:27He is with you now, even as you sit in the ache, and He is at work in ways you can't yet see.
- 3:34The truth about God's reach is that His healing is not a remediation of the
- 3:39pain to erase your story, but a redirection towards a greater good you may not yet understand.
- 3:48He moves not in dramatic but instantaneous transformation alone put in the ordinary,
- 3:55stubborn acts of life, a person choosing to listen,
- 4:00a moment of quiet and prayer, a whisper of forgiveness that frees the heart,
- 4:04a new rhythm of daily disciplines that study the soul. Think of a mosaic again.
- 4:12And the way each fragment when placed with intention reveals a larger picture.
- 4:20God made us in the brokenness with active love, word, presence and power so
- 4:27that our wounds can become vessels of grace for others as well as for ourselves.
- 4:33If you are facing fear, guilt or pain, let this scripture speak courage into your heart.
- 4:40Do not fear, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you.
- 4:45I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- 4:48Know that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
- 4:54Stillness can be a doorway to healing, but practical steps keep us moving toward wholeness.
- 5:01First, bring it to Him in prayer. Tell God the raw truth without polishing it or hiding the fear.
- 5:08Prayer isn't a performance, it's a conversation with a trusted friend who loves
- 5:15you enough to hear who you as you are.
- 5:20Second, receive His word. Let scripture address your fears and doubts.
- 5:24Allow it to reframe your view of yourself and your circumstances.
- 5:29Third, lean into community.
- 5:32We were never meant to heal alone, so reach out to a trusted friend, mentor, or a pastor.
- 5:39Share your burden in honesty and openness and allow others to bear some of the weight with you.
- 5:46Fourth, take small steps of restoration.
- 5:49Healing often appears in tiny, persistent action.
- 5:54A daily moment of prayer, a walk in the fresh air, writing a letter you may
- 5:59never send, choosing to mend a damaged relationship with the patient word.
- 6:05Fifth, practice forgiveness and grace for yourself.
- 6:09If God forgives you, we can bring to forgive the parts of ourselves that keep
- 6:16replaying the mistake. The shame
- 6:18that keeps us stuck and the voice that tells us we are beyond repair.
- 6:236. Let faith move into action As you healed, you may find a stir to serve others
- 6:32who are broken, which not only bless them, but multiplies your own healing through generosity.
- 6:39If you are listening and thinking, That sounds good, but what do I do this week?
- 6:44Well, here's a gentle challenge.
- 6:47Choose one simple step you will take in the coming days.
- 6:52It could be starting a daily five-minute quiet with God, reaching out to one
- 6:57person to share honesty where you are, or writing down one small action toward restoration each day.
- 7:04And as you pursue these steps, anchor your hope in this scripture.
- 7:09I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels or demons nor the present
- 7:16nor the future nor powers nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation
- 7:22will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- 7:28In this journey from the brokenness to restoration we should not rush the process
- 7:34or pretend that the pain isn't real rather we walk with it bringing it before
- 7:40god and embracing the gradual work of healing trusting that god can,
- 7:46and will meet us where we are and carry us toward what
- 7:49he intends for us now if you close your eyes for a moment i invite you to envision
- 7:54a place where you feel held safe and seen in that place imagine god placing
- 8:01a steady hand on your shoulder whisper to him i am broken but i trust you to
- 8:07begin and what I cannot finish.
- 8:09Allow a moment of quiet to stutter in your heart. You are known,
- 8:13you are loved, and you are not beyond repaired.
- 8:17God is with you. Healing is on the horizon.
- 8:20As we bring this to a close, I want to leave you with a simple invitation and a prayer for release.
- 8:27Over the next week, choose one action that will nudge you toward restoration and commit to it.
- 8:34Whether that's a daily prayer, a conversation you need to have with someone
- 8:39you have injured or hurt,
- 8:42or a deliberate choice toward gentleness with yourself,
- 8:47take that step and hold fast to the truth that God's love is bigger than your
- 8:51brokenness and that healing is not a distant dream but a workable day-by-day reality.
- 8:58I'll close with these words of assurance
- 9:01from romans neither death nor life nor
- 9:04anything else in all creation can separate
- 9:07us us from the love of god in christ jesus
- 9:10our lord father we bring you our broken
- 9:13pieces asking you to mend what it is torn renew what is weary fill us with a
- 9:19peace that passes understanding help us to trust you in slow word of healing
- 9:23and lean into community to hear your voice in your word and to respond with
- 9:28acts of faith that moves us toward wholeness.
- 9:31May your grace sustain us as we walk forward one step at a time toward the restoration
- 9:38you have promised. Amen.
