- 2:03Speaker 1: h huh, I sure will A good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:09Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on, dig me now, one
- 2:13Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man. God
- 2:17Speaker 1: is in the blessing business. I'm in the receiving line. Man.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That's a good feeling, you know. I thank God for
- 2:27Speaker 1: waking me up in the mornings. I really really do.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I thank God for the spirit that he wakes me
- 2:33Speaker 1: up with because I finally, but I finally figured it out.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Such a blessing that shouldn't be taken for granted. The
- 2:41Speaker 1: fact that you are up today, the fact that you
- 2:44Speaker 1: just got off work and you're driving home, the fact
- 2:47Speaker 1: that you got a job to come home from the
- 2:49Speaker 1: fact that you got a job to wake up too.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Whatever it is, the fact that you can see, think, here, smell, walk, talk, rhyme, reason,
- 3:00Speaker 1: whatever it is, it's a blessing. Man, It is a blessing.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Every time he wakes you up, it's him saying, hey,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I ain't through with you yet. Hey, man, still got
- 3:12Speaker 1: still got some work for you, still putting you into
- 3:16Speaker 1: the plan. And you know, um, I was talking to
- 3:20Speaker 1: a partner of mine last night and an analogy came
- 3:24Speaker 1: to me last night of what my life has been like.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And I was just going over my story with a
- 3:31Speaker 1: friend of matter all that some of the things I
- 3:33Speaker 1: had gone through. And he never knew it because he said, man,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you never told me that. We were just talking. One
- 3:40Speaker 1: of the things I remember, and it's kind of equated
- 3:43Speaker 1: to my life, was when I was a little boy,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I should go to the store with my mom and
- 3:52Speaker 1: she would let me buy a jigsaw puzzle and uh,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I love getting the jigsaw puzzle. Custom man, know it
- 4:01Speaker 1: was it was. It was just interesting to me, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: for those of you to grow it back in the day,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you know, it's kind of cool because you know, I
- 4:08Speaker 1: was telling my partner, you know, what no video games
- 4:10Speaker 1: to play another. So in the wintertime, a jigsaw puzzle
- 4:13Speaker 1: was kind of cool to me. It gave me something
- 4:15Speaker 1: to do. And what we do is my mother would
- 4:18Speaker 1: spread out a piece of newspaper on the section of
- 4:21Speaker 1: the floor, or spread out some newspaper on the end
- 4:24Speaker 1: of the table, and I would buy a jigsaw puzzle. Now,
- 4:29Speaker 1: for those of you, a jigsaw puzzle comes in the box.
- 4:33Speaker 1: There are no instructions. It just comes in a box
- 4:38Speaker 1: and it's simple. You're gonna dump the pieces out in
- 4:41Speaker 1: the pile and you're gonna try to put the pieces
- 4:45Speaker 1: together until it looks like the picture that's on the
- 4:50Speaker 1: cover of the box. That's as simple as it is.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Here is the deal. I would select a jigsaw puzzle
- 5:03Speaker 1: based on the picture that I liked and if I
- 5:09Speaker 1: thought I could do it. Now, if the jigsaw puzzle,
- 5:14Speaker 1: if the picture looked too crazy, if it looked too intricate,
- 5:18Speaker 1: too detailed, I didn't want that puzzle, you know. And
- 5:22Speaker 1: the thing was, back in the day you got a
- 5:24Speaker 1: jigsaw puzzle, you had a hundred piece puzzles. Four hundred
- 5:27Speaker 1: piece puzzles. Man, then they say a thousand piece puzzle.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You go oh, man. So those were a little difficult
- 5:36Speaker 1: for me when I was a little boy, so I
- 5:38Speaker 1: didn't want that. As I got a little bit older,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I had more challenging puzzles, you know, for fifty five
- 5:47Speaker 1: hundred piece puzzles. But I always picked a picture of
- 5:52Speaker 1: something I liked and wanted to see happen. So it's
- 5:57Speaker 1: very simple. You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it them,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you open it up, you dump it out on the table.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and then I would try to sort them based on
- 6:10Speaker 1: the colors on the box. If it was like a
- 6:13Speaker 1: a black section, I take all the black pieces and
- 6:16Speaker 1: slide them over there. If it was some flowers, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: try to find all the pictures with little jigsaw pieces
- 6:22Speaker 1: with the little floor, and I separate them. And then
- 6:25Speaker 1: I started putting it together. And the way I started
- 6:27Speaker 1: was I try to build the border first, because I
- 6:30Speaker 1: knew all the straight edges had to be side by
- 6:33Speaker 1: side at one point, so I'd go like that. And
- 6:37Speaker 1: it was funny, man, because it's related to my life.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I would start putting the pieces together of the picture
- 6:45Speaker 1: I saw that I liked, and that would be my picture.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And oftentimes when I got through with the puzzle, the
- 6:53Speaker 1: puzzle would be about m maybe two ft wide two
- 6:58Speaker 1: ft high, something like that. I liked them about that side.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Sometimes I get a little bigger one pin on the
- 7:04Speaker 1: size of the piece of stuff, and I would make
- 7:06Speaker 1: that puss. A lot of people didn't like jigsaw puzzles.
- 7:12Speaker 1: The majority of people I knew and my friends didn't
- 7:15Speaker 1: like jigsaw puzzles because they didn't like the work. And
- 7:19Speaker 1: I had a partner that used to come to my
- 7:21Speaker 1: house and see mine and get mad, and he'd go
- 7:23Speaker 1: home and started wanting he gets too difficult along the way,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and then he'd stopped go back to it, and his
- 7:30Speaker 1: puzzle was left unfinished a lot of time. As a
- 7:33Speaker 1: matter of fact, none of the boys on the street
- 7:36Speaker 1: like jigsaw puzzles. But me. What happened was, as I
- 7:40Speaker 1: got older, I wanted more difficult than challenging puzzles, but
- 7:45Speaker 1: I wouldn't go too far. I wanted some nice stuff
- 7:50Speaker 1: to happen. I had a picture of what I wanted
- 7:52Speaker 1: for my life, but I didn't want to go too
- 7:55Speaker 1: far because it was so challenging and difficult. I I
- 8:00Speaker 1: and see myself with all of that, and I didn't
- 8:02Speaker 1: have the time, the knowledge, the expertise to figuring all
- 8:06Speaker 1: the intricate details. And I discovered something when I was
- 8:10Speaker 1: talking last night. That's what happens in life to a
- 8:15Speaker 1: lot of people. You get bogged down with the details
- 8:19Speaker 1: of coming up. You said all that polls are crazy.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Next thing you know, you crumble it up and put
- 8:23Speaker 1: it back in the box. So you go halfway and
- 8:25Speaker 1: you get stuck and you get to the part where
- 8:28Speaker 1: it ain't a lot of different colors. It's all the same,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and that's a little bit more challenging. So that may
- 8:33Speaker 1: stop you. But it's somewhere in the jigsaw puzzle that
- 8:36Speaker 1: it gets very difficult and challenging. The bigger the picture
- 8:40Speaker 1: you want, but then what are happened in your life?
- 8:45Speaker 1: It's just like what ha happened in the jigsaw. Once
- 8:48Speaker 1: you get comfortable and you don't mind the challenge, you
- 8:53Speaker 1: could get a bigger picture. But here's the key to it, though,
- 8:58Speaker 1: if you put God in your mid see the picture
- 9:02Speaker 1: that I saw for myself as a boy is not
- 9:05Speaker 1: the picture that has happened to me as a man.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Because along the way from boyhood to manhood, from the
- 9:12Speaker 1: time I was tending you understand what happened along the riding,
- 9:16Speaker 1: now was I started putting God in the mix. And
- 9:21Speaker 1: so now the picture that I have now is not
- 9:24Speaker 1: the picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw.
- 9:29Speaker 1: So what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you
- 9:33Speaker 1: have may be difficult to complete, but if you were
- 9:37Speaker 1: to include God in your life, put God in your
- 9:41Speaker 1: jigsaw puzzle, God will not only help you complete the puzzle,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
- 9:51Speaker 1: he gonna show some mercy, and you're gonna look up
- 9:54Speaker 1: and the picture that you're able to end up with
- 9:57Speaker 1: or be totally different and much more complet lead, much
- 10:00Speaker 1: more beautiful or bigger picture than the one you had.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Because there's no way that I could have saw the
- 10:06Speaker 1: life that I have today back when I was a boy.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And it amazes me when I hear people say I
- 10:12Speaker 1: always saw this for myself. I didn't do that. I
- 10:16Speaker 1: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
- 10:18Speaker 1: you can have the ability to see what God really
- 10:21Speaker 1: has for you. But man, he's a masterful jigsaw man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: He's an incredible puzzle completer. So if you got a
- 10:29Speaker 1: puzzle that's challenging to you. What's the picture that God
- 10:33Speaker 1: has for your life? If God were in your life,
- 10:38Speaker 1: if you completed the puzzle, what would it look like.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It'll be a far more extensive puzzle and it would
- 10:45Speaker 1: be a far more beautiful piece of scenery than you
- 10:48Speaker 1: could have ever imagined. And guess what, He ain't through
- 10:51Speaker 1: with me yet. That's what's amazing and exciting about a
- 10:55Speaker 1: relationship with God. God could take your jigs all puzzle
- 10:58Speaker 1: and fix it. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention, please, Steve
- 11:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show is about to commence. Now let me
- 11:12Speaker 1: let me, let me. Let me commence this with a
- 11:14Speaker 1: warning that today will probably be filled with a lot
- 11:18Speaker 1: of ignorance. If you don't want that in your day,
- 11:23Speaker 1: please turn to the other morning show. And there's no ignorance.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But there's no ignorance and a lot of drash stuff
- 11:32Speaker 1: go over there if you it's not a revelation. It's
- 11:37Speaker 1: always ignorance on the show man. But it's just I'm
- 11:42Speaker 1: just putting it out there because you know, every time
- 11:45Speaker 1: I'm down, they fire shot. Said me. Every time I
- 11:50Speaker 1: ain't feeling myself out, some negative news come out old
- 11:54Speaker 1: day on top of it, and you want that. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: so now just let me tell you something. You can't
- 12:02Speaker 1: stop nothing God got for somebody else. Man, you can
- 12:07Speaker 1: quit trying fine at me, shoot me down, try to
- 12:12Speaker 1: pull me down here, I mean boy to charlet. Hey,
- 12:20Speaker 1: good morning, Steve, welcome back. Yeah, yeah, I needed that
- 12:24Speaker 1: one up junior, Morning up, blessed. Yeah, I'm trying to
- 12:27Speaker 1: get through this conjection. I had a severe sinus infection
- 12:30Speaker 1: at a doctor. I had to get on some steroids,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and so at least I'm stronger. Yeah. The steroids open
- 12:38Speaker 1: up your head, but it makes your face fat. He
- 12:43Speaker 1: looks wolder over. Yeah, I got one side of my
- 12:47Speaker 1: face is actually fatter than the other. I guess that's
- 12:49Speaker 1: where the congestion. WI what the hell going on? I'm
- 12:52Speaker 1: suffering from side effect. Still got some residue in. I'm
- 13:00Speaker 1: working on it. Brown, watch your Steve hard get done up, baby.
- 13:13Speaker 1: So I just wanted to say I didn't get a chance.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I wasn't comment on it. She's off today for a
- 13:18Speaker 1: little bit of having some technical difficulties to call it
- 13:21Speaker 1: being in a minute, But I was just gonna say
- 13:24Speaker 1: the Mississippi State boy, I will show girl. Man. They
- 13:31Speaker 1: had them too, man, but the tall girl filed out.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That hurt him. And uh, I'll tell you one other thing.
- 13:41Speaker 1: That girl from Notre Dame Bubba Wally. Come on, come on,
- 13:47Speaker 1: that girl right there hit the game winner at the
- 13:50Speaker 1: brother two games in a row. That girl, cold boy?
- 13:56Speaker 1: What's her name? Bob? One date forever? It'll be different
- 14:05Speaker 1: every time. And I got a couple of tables. Thirty
- 14:08Speaker 1: something funny, y'all, I saw Black Panther this week. Hold on,
- 14:13Speaker 1: give us a review back, thirty something funny. I can't wait. Well,
- 14:21Speaker 1: we saw, we saw acrimony, and that was certainly your life. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and then we'll be back with something funny. Steve saw
- 14:34Speaker 1: can you believe in Black Panther? We'll talk about that
- 14:36Speaker 1: when we come back at thirty two after Right after this,
- 14:40Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, it
- 14:43Speaker 1: is time for something funny. We are all just waiting anxiously. Steve.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You saw Black Panther over the weekend, tell us about it,
- 14:52Speaker 1: or did you see it yesterday Monday? No? No, I
- 14:56Speaker 1: watched it all. What day did I watch it? Sad
- 15:00Speaker 1: okay at your house, Yeah, at my house. Yeah. Your
- 15:04Speaker 1: Disney sent it in the theater room. Yeah. A Disney
- 15:09Speaker 1: sent it to me for the cast. Came home, got
- 15:20Speaker 1: it like that, Ja tell us about it? This movie
- 15:27Speaker 1: is I saw it. Everybody was talking about the imagery
- 15:32Speaker 1: and the lessons. The imagery was fantastic, especially doing the
- 15:36Speaker 1: challenge fight when I'm standing under them cliffs with all
- 15:40Speaker 1: the people up on them levels of rocks. Talk about
- 15:43Speaker 1: a bad seat if you was at the top, man,
- 15:47Speaker 1: You talk about a bad seat at the fight, if
- 15:49Speaker 1: you was at the top of that rock. You don't
- 15:51Speaker 1: know what the hell we're going on. Man, they you
- 15:53Speaker 1: know they've been They've been playing us with bad seats.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Them balcony seats were rough. Now this is just this
- 16:01Speaker 1: is the Hood. Read the Hood review of the movie
- 16:08Speaker 1: Hood review all right, read it or the movie all
- 16:13Speaker 1: about You know when the girls came up to the
- 16:15Speaker 1: dudes dough that had the guns that were fitting to
- 16:18Speaker 1: go do a hit and they came in. Now, I
- 16:22Speaker 1: didn't know that that dude that was next to him,
- 16:24Speaker 1: the one that got killed, I didn't know that was forced.
- 16:29Speaker 1: They show could have got a different looking younger forced
- 16:31Speaker 1: with them because something they have real banders, a couple
- 16:35Speaker 1: of accidents or something. Something happened to that young Force
- 16:39Speaker 1: to get him to the old force, cause them two
- 16:42Speaker 1: didn't resemble at all. So I don't yeah, I don't
- 16:45Speaker 1: know what the hell happened to Force between when he
- 16:48Speaker 1: was back over there and and he was the other spot. Okay,
- 16:53Speaker 1: so now since y'all seen the movie, I ain't got
- 16:56Speaker 1: the gold now a little when when they killed the
- 16:58Speaker 1: dude and it took the spaceship back and the little
- 17:02Speaker 1: boy Randolf chairs and it was his daddy. His attitude,
- 17:08Speaker 1: that boy's damn attitude was way too strong. So you're
- 17:12Speaker 1: gonna be that funky man about the whole damn country
- 17:16Speaker 1: over wander Now what now, what we owe you? You
- 17:20Speaker 1: got a little shiny stuff in your lip, what you wanted.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Let's come over to the house and let's work it out.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You all up here and there you have joined the
- 17:28Speaker 1: Navy's seals and all this killing folks. Killer, right, you're
- 17:31Speaker 1: talking about when he was little? Yeah, but then he
- 17:34Speaker 1: didn't great, he didn't win all of the Navy seals
- 17:37Speaker 1: over the Ascan Afghanistan, just killing white boys and no reason.
- 17:43Speaker 1: You're mad at spaceship ship just brought your way as whole.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You're sitting up in here, man, you got the blue
- 17:49Speaker 1: thing and your lip. You know you're different. Everybody's gonna
- 17:53Speaker 1: find that blue thing inside they lip. At one point,
- 17:57Speaker 1: I mean, damn, you know, big as my lipert is.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I used to put them down all the time. I
- 18:00Speaker 1: could pull my lip under my cheek. Yeah, and so
- 18:04Speaker 1: I already knew he had looked in there. So but
- 18:07Speaker 1: now he man, all he want to do is kill something.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Damn Yeah, he over that challenge. He wasn't even a
- 18:12Speaker 1: good key. You ain't even had keen quality. You were
- 18:17Speaker 1: hooting him. You were killing what you want to be
- 18:19Speaker 1: keen coming back over to the wand let her forgive you.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You could be sacking you, brother, Yeah, yeah, you could
- 18:27Speaker 1: have been all right. In case you've just joined us.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is doing his review review. All the lessons
- 18:36Speaker 1: everybody learned. I appreciate them. It was one of the
- 18:39Speaker 1: best movies I've ever seen. Let's just get to what
- 18:42Speaker 1: this movie about. Podcast. Uh, the dude they creed what's
- 18:49Speaker 1: his name, Michael B. Jordan over there, got the whole
- 18:53Speaker 1: damn thing. We're over here. We got a good things.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Always wanted, always wanted one. We all having a good time.
- 19:00Speaker 1: We got your challenges to the dudes. Right there was
- 19:09Speaker 1: the cues came over that r ain't following the rules,
- 19:18Speaker 1: just like them. Damn cute, come over here. Ques came over.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Even the que said, I know the sound when I
- 19:29Speaker 1: looked out, I was looking down. I'll be damning standing dude.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Now Now obviously uh damn was for as Whittaker character
- 19:47Speaker 1: here signal. He just just talking. Just one of they
- 19:53Speaker 1: just over that tube. They just over that talking, wasn't
- 19:57Speaker 1: h Now the little dog dude that didn't like the
- 20:01Speaker 1: king want to jumped on the damn capital capital. They
- 20:10Speaker 1: always want to be something. He yeah, yeah he was.
- 20:13Speaker 1: He was. He was dog skinning back down dog skill
- 20:16Speaker 1: with light skiing. Yeah yeah, he cappit. He on that
- 20:25Speaker 1: trying to kill somebody with a damn rhinos down and fight.
- 20:30Speaker 1: He did that, but fight. So then they sitting over
- 20:35Speaker 1: there here and all the Deltas, all the Deltas had
- 20:38Speaker 1: the spills. It was my girl, and so all this
- 20:43Speaker 1: was happening down at the creek over there by the waterfall. Okay,
- 20:48Speaker 1: so he finally got his strip. First of all, I
- 20:50Speaker 1: wouldn't have fought if they pulled the purple stuff in
- 20:53Speaker 1: my mouth. To take that without taking the panther from
- 20:58Speaker 1: why my yeah not to do is protu in me
- 21:07Speaker 1: and take the paraf out of me, and I gotta
- 21:10Speaker 1: fight him just at the regular dude, I'm going hons
- 21:13Speaker 1: hold it in your mouth and when they ain't looking,
- 21:15Speaker 1: spitting in the wall, because every time they said that
- 21:22Speaker 1: is a challenge, we are going to take the from
- 21:26Speaker 1: you know the hell you all right there at once?
- 21:30Speaker 1: An old trade, I ask. We gotta get we gotta
- 21:34Speaker 1: get into the prank coming up next. Thank you Steve
- 21:37Speaker 1: for that hood review of the Black Panther. Coming up next,
- 21:40Speaker 1: it's run that prank back with the nephew. You're listening
- 21:46Speaker 1: to the Steve Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:49Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll talk about tax season is here,
- 21:54Speaker 1: plus Mrs Anne is gonna have today's national news. But
- 21:57Speaker 1: up next it is time to run that frank back.
- 22:00Speaker 1: What you got now? Hold on, can't tell you something
- 22:02Speaker 1: else too, because the Alpha's was in Black Panther to
- 22:05Speaker 1: I don't want to. They were just in the council talking,
- 22:13Speaker 1: in the council talking. They were and they were headed
- 22:16Speaker 1: up by the old woman, the elderly woman. Yeah, she
- 22:22Speaker 1: was the first alpha. Actually was gonna be mad. That
- 22:32Speaker 1: was Rolling Martin was let. I wanted to say congratulations
- 22:40Speaker 1: to Roland Martin Man, my boy rolland Martin Man. I've
- 22:43Speaker 1: never I've always tried to speak very highly. This is
- 22:46Speaker 1: one of the most intelligent brothers I've ever made. And
- 22:48Speaker 1: the isl is considered to be a wise bird. And
- 22:51Speaker 1: I just saw Rolling Martin's new commercial on Trip Advisory
- 22:59Speaker 1: that that Roll yeah and why wy like an hour
- 23:09Speaker 1: and when? And when Rolling asked them feathers in his pocket?
- 23:14Speaker 1: That pluid I thought for show that that ol on
- 23:18Speaker 1: Trip Advisory was Rolling Martin. And I want to say
- 23:21Speaker 1: to my boy Rolle, I know you'll be texting me,
- 23:24Speaker 1: but congratulations on your first Nash. Let's get to the pranks.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Let's do that. Come on now, sitting on the back
- 23:33Speaker 1: of that run with your trade. Alright, nephew, let's get
- 23:38Speaker 1: to the prank. What do you have today? I told
- 23:41Speaker 1: you sure we saw him Sunday the church. Hello, Hello,
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your sister. Good even to your ma'am.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I don't mean to be giving you a call this
- 23:55Speaker 1: late in the evening. But I I am the new
- 23:58Speaker 1: youth man stuff I have. Uh, my name is Sean
- 24:01Speaker 1: Williams over at Missionary Baptist Church, which mine is UM.
- 24:09Speaker 1: He's no longer with the church anymore. Man. Well, I'm
- 24:15Speaker 1: not at at liberty to speak up on that. But
- 24:18Speaker 1: but what I was doing is getting around and making
- 24:21Speaker 1: sure I I met everyone because I haven't met everyone
- 24:24Speaker 1: yet and I wanted to reach out to um everyone
- 24:28Speaker 1: at the church. But listen, let me let me get
- 24:30Speaker 1: down to some more business. Because I've spoken with the pastor.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Uh we spoke, yes, Okay, I spoke with him on yesterday,
- 24:44Speaker 1: and we have narrowed some things down over a few
- 24:48Speaker 1: changes we're going to be making at the church, and
- 24:51Speaker 1: what we want to do was um. One of the
- 24:53Speaker 1: major subjects that have come up such is that we're
- 24:57Speaker 1: wanting you, if at all possible, and the deacons were
- 25:00Speaker 1: in on this meeting as well, but wanting you to
- 25:03Speaker 1: change your attitude when people are coming in and you're
- 25:06Speaker 1: seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten to the point
- 25:09Speaker 1: where they think you wait, wait, wait, wait wait wait
- 25:11Speaker 1: wait wait a minute, wait, thank you. I had a
- 25:13Speaker 1: meeting on me Well, it wasn't a meeting. I don't
- 25:16Speaker 1: want to listen here. I've been ushering on that usher
- 25:20Speaker 1: board before. Its seven years. I am the sitting usher
- 25:24Speaker 1: on that usher board, and I really know I've been
- 25:26Speaker 1: trying to be nuts about it, but I don't understand
- 25:28Speaker 1: how y'all don't have a meeting without me. But now
- 25:33Speaker 1: you're won't call here and tell me that you're having
- 25:36Speaker 1: a meeting on me about me being nice, always nice, Well, ma'am,
- 25:41Speaker 1: that doesn't seem to be twenty seven now, and somebody
- 25:48Speaker 1: to call me don't make no proper what is it? Well?
- 25:54Speaker 1: What that's actually my call, man, is that maybe we
- 25:57Speaker 1: figured if I would call and speak with you about
- 25:59Speaker 1: the man, that maybe we can get to some type
- 26:02Speaker 1: of rectifying this situation to where we can We don't
- 26:06Speaker 1: rectify here, I'm gonna rectified. You calling me this time
- 26:10Speaker 1: a night taught my some meeting. Just don't make no time.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I don't apprecionate you're calling me any time or night
- 26:18Speaker 1: were aware of Bishop. I need to speak the biships
- 26:22Speaker 1: that I've been at this church reported seven years. I've
- 26:26Speaker 1: been saying, Oh my life, this don't make no type
- 26:28Speaker 1: of sense. You're calling me here with this mess now, Tea,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you're often to make me because I'm trying to be
- 26:33Speaker 1: a Christian. But y'all not gonna ask me be a Christian.
- 26:36Speaker 1: It's she just gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We're telling me about something to be Remember that saying
- 26:42Speaker 1: that they're having problems when you're seating the people, and
- 26:45Speaker 1: that's all that we're trying to get rectified. And people
- 26:48Speaker 1: don't want to sit down. They want to go over here,
- 26:50Speaker 1: they want to go up there, they want to have
- 26:52Speaker 1: the children runner two and throw. It's like a bunch
- 26:54Speaker 1: of demons a while he's bucking around in a church
- 26:57Speaker 1: like they ain't got no sense. And I'm not gonna
- 26:59Speaker 1: have it in my section. Se is gonna be straight.
- 27:02Speaker 1: And I understand you know what, since uh, I think
- 27:06Speaker 1: if we did this, if you would do me a
- 27:08Speaker 1: favor and hold your phone, and if you would just
- 27:10Speaker 1: bow your head right now for me, maybe we can
- 27:12Speaker 1: come to to get to get the man head baby.
- 27:21Speaker 1: If we can get your lords. It's clean, it's hospital carpet.
- 27:23Speaker 1: It don't make no what about buying my head? If
- 27:26Speaker 1: you could, maybe if you could close your eyes, sister, sister,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you call me and won't be about my set with
- 27:34Speaker 1: this meeting. I am very annoyed at this and I
- 27:38Speaker 1: don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm
- 27:40Speaker 1: gonna speak to you now. Father. We asked that you
- 27:43Speaker 1: look down up on Si Stick. We asked that you
- 27:45Speaker 1: look down upon her right now, right now, asking that
- 27:49Speaker 1: you put a smile on her face on Sunday morning,
- 27:52Speaker 1: asking that you put some joy in her heart on
- 27:55Speaker 1: Sunday morning. And can't let you draw all the pain
- 27:58Speaker 1: that she in, the anguish that she might be going through,
- 28:01Speaker 1: whatever demon there is inside. We asked that you draw
- 28:04Speaker 1: that demon out. We asked that you pulled that demon
- 28:08Speaker 1: away from right now in your name. We asked all
- 28:12Speaker 1: of these blessings to come because I don't appreciate this. Boy.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I don't even know who you. Pastor gave me the
- 28:20Speaker 1: number one and asked me to call I am like
- 28:22Speaker 1: I said, I'm Sean Williams. We haven't met yet, and
- 28:24Speaker 1: I am the news. He don't he don't, he don't
- 28:27Speaker 1: act that way, and it's bishop for the third time.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I don't told you, boy, bishable respectful the folks. That's
- 28:33Speaker 1: what let me let me let me say this right here, sister,
- 28:38Speaker 1: and maybe this will shed some light on things a
- 28:41Speaker 1: little bit clearer. Idea. This is nephew timing from Steve
- 28:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by system who
- 28:51Speaker 1: is also usher at the church and missing there about this.
- 29:00Speaker 1: This is a messing. But we already don't make no sense,
- 29:04Speaker 1: Lord him, but this is embarrassing. Oh my god, this
- 29:08Speaker 1: is bad Steve Robbitt Show. Yes, ma'am, that's that's that's
- 29:12Speaker 1: my uncle that. This is just a joke though many
- 29:16Speaker 1: Oh Lord him, how are you doing? How you doing? So?
- 29:23Speaker 1: This is I am? I am? Do you listen to
- 29:27Speaker 1: the show every day? I never would have stepped myself
- 29:32Speaker 1: to be Oh lord, jawsn't made. Oh my god, I
- 29:35Speaker 1: got me on this radio actors, sister did this here
- 29:40Speaker 1: to you? How about it? H y'all call me back
- 29:45Speaker 1: and we get sister. We do that, we do. We
- 29:50Speaker 1: will do a prank on her bills, paying a couple
- 29:53Speaker 1: of bills, you know, sure, a little her business. What
- 30:01Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve
- 30:05Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show? And look Tommy and hard mother look
- 30:10Speaker 1: showing him look so cute? I love Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Please forgive me evil people. All right, coming up at
- 30:33Speaker 1: the top of the hour, miss Anne, we'll be here
- 30:36Speaker 1: with our national news. Okay, you're listening to the Steve
- 30:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve, text day is April seventeen,
- 30:48Speaker 1: So I wanted to ask you April seventeen, we got
- 30:52Speaker 1: an extra day, extra couple of days this year because
- 30:55Speaker 1: of the way it falls s up. What what? Well,
- 31:08Speaker 1: you know the fifteen. Yeah, the fifteen falls on a
- 31:11Speaker 1: Sunday this year, so we get couple of extra What
- 31:14Speaker 1: did you just say, Tommy? I asked you, did you
- 31:17Speaker 1: file quarterly anyway? Yeah? H O, taxies do on the fifteen? Yeah,
- 31:24Speaker 1: listen to me, tom A matter to everybody living. Okay,
- 31:30Speaker 1: I don't give a damn. You seen it quarter? You
- 31:31Speaker 1: send it in daily on the fifty I asked, don't
- 31:36Speaker 1: find a way to want some more? Okay, Si, Steve.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I brought that up because you know it's close and
- 31:46Speaker 1: I just wanted to know if you have any tax tips.
- 31:49Speaker 1: That was a good one. I think pay your taxes due,
- 31:54Speaker 1: not at all. I want to play with these people
- 31:56Speaker 1: and everything computerized. Now, don't even play with these people.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I stay so legal and clean. Now, lord him, if
- 32:03Speaker 1: I ow you I'm gonna pay, you might be a
- 32:05Speaker 1: little late. But Lord Jesus, before we get into calling me,
- 32:11Speaker 1: you're gonna have it. You know. If you're getting that
- 32:13Speaker 1: letter opening and call, don't let that letter sit there.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Don't believe about not man the hell with your hell
- 32:18Speaker 1: yeah yeah, don't do not let the letter right? What's
- 32:24Speaker 1: start coming with red rights on red writing that means
- 32:29Speaker 1: open open, miss you for the information changing now act
- 32:34Speaker 1: like you don't see this color? Yeah. See. Do you
- 32:36Speaker 1: think it's best if people file their own taxes or
- 32:39Speaker 1: if they should get a tax preparer? Or I mean,
- 32:42Speaker 1: if you've got a simple, simple job, If you're single
- 32:45Speaker 1: and simple, you don't need to pay nobody. You can
- 32:48Speaker 1: just do what you'reself. They got apps and stuff that
- 32:51Speaker 1: walk you right through the thing. It's real simple. If
- 32:54Speaker 1: you ain't got no dependence, you're just filing taxes you've
- 32:57Speaker 1: been paying. Just write your stuff down. You ain't got
- 32:58Speaker 1: no right off. They't even play with you. If you
- 33:03Speaker 1: got a spouse and you got kids, I highly recommend
- 33:08Speaker 1: you let somebody look at your taxes because you could
- 33:11Speaker 1: be missing childcare, daycare credits. You could be missing new laws.
- 33:17Speaker 1: See this new law that trump nel pass. There's some
- 33:21Speaker 1: stuff in there. Fight, So I would recommend getting somebody
- 33:25Speaker 1: to look at it, because you could miss because there
- 33:28Speaker 1: is some stuff in there for you, in this new one.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And you don't want to go to a place that
- 33:32Speaker 1: does taxes and lawn more repair, stay out of there.
- 33:36Speaker 1: If if they do taxes and anything else, taxes and
- 33:41Speaker 1: baking here, you don't want to do that. You don't
- 33:44Speaker 1: wanna go in right, if they do taxes and tree trimming,
- 33:48Speaker 1: don't go. Don't go in there, get your taxes. Hold up,
- 33:53Speaker 1: let me finish these shoes. I can work on your taxes.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Don't go in there. Don't go in there. What about barbershops,
- 33:58Speaker 1: beauty shops in tax No, they a's in trouble too.
- 34:04Speaker 1: The dude in the fourth Yeah, it's gonna work. And
- 34:08Speaker 1: don't let no relative do yours. She's the smartest. Yeah
- 34:16Speaker 1: that's a big because he wears glasses. And the phrase
- 34:21Speaker 1: I learned this in jail, So I can do your
- 34:23Speaker 1: tax Yeah you ain't. Andy the frame and miss Anne
- 34:30Speaker 1: is here with today's headlines, including the sad news. This
- 34:33Speaker 1: is sad. Anti apartheid activist Winnie Mandela has died. She
- 34:38Speaker 1: died yesterday. She was eighty one. Eighty one. Yeah, don't
- 34:44Speaker 1: you talk getting scared a little bit, Asian gentlemen, She's
- 34:48Speaker 1: here this and Trip. Thank you very much, everybody. This
- 34:51Speaker 1: is and Trip with the news South Africans and Blacks
- 34:54Speaker 1: out the diaspora on mourning the death of Winnie Mandela.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Winnie made Cazela Mandela died after her long illness yesterday
- 35:01Speaker 1: at a Johannesburg hospital at age eighty one. Like last year,
- 35:04Speaker 1: there was word that she was not feeling well, that
- 35:07Speaker 1: she was ill, and at that time some people said
- 35:10Speaker 1: she might perished last year, but she did last this
- 35:13Speaker 1: year until age eighty one. The African National Congress says
- 35:16Speaker 1: in a statement that Mrs Mandela fought valiantly against apartheid
- 35:20Speaker 1: and sacrificed her life for the freedom of the country.
- 35:22Speaker 1: She talked about her fight against white minority rule on
- 35:25Speaker 1: CNN back in May of eleven. I was one of
- 35:29Speaker 1: those who where with the people fighting physically against apart
- 35:36Speaker 1: to resume we went. Winnie Mandela, a nurse by profession,
- 35:40Speaker 1: was Nelson Mandela's second wife, but became the greatest advocate
- 35:43Speaker 1: for the freedom of her husband and for other anti
- 35:45Speaker 1: apartheid activists. She traveled the world over educating people about
- 35:49Speaker 1: the daily atrocities committed by the South African government. In
- 35:53Speaker 1: though she was convicted of involvement in the kidnapping of
- 35:55Speaker 1: a teenager who was later found dead, who some people
- 35:58Speaker 1: labeled and informant. However, most South African people forgave Winnie
- 36:02Speaker 1: and still consider her the mother of the nation. Israel
- 36:06Speaker 1: says it's getting rid of a controversial plan to deport
- 36:08Speaker 1: some thirty thousand African migrants, mostly from Eritrea and Sudan.
- 36:12Speaker 1: That's because the United Nations has agreed to help out
- 36:14Speaker 1: by resettling many of the Africans in Canada, Germany, Italy
- 36:17Speaker 1: and elsewhere over a five year period. Israeli government had
- 36:20Speaker 1: planned to send North Africans into either Rwanda or Uganda.
- 36:25Speaker 1: President Trump is tweeting again. Trump says both the FBI
- 36:27Speaker 1: and the Justice Department are quote an embarrassment to our
- 36:30Speaker 1: country unquote. He criticized CNN and NBC while praising Sinclair Broadcasting.
- 36:35Speaker 1: That's a pro Trump, pro Trump network of over a
- 36:38Speaker 1: hundred ninety local TV stations, which requires its anchors to
- 36:41Speaker 1: deliver an identical on camera message calling mainstream press coverage unfair.
- 36:46Speaker 1: So vessas alone as brother Frank's alone, apologizing for the
- 36:49Speaker 1: profane tweet he sent out recently attacking one of the
- 36:52Speaker 1: survivors of the Florida High school shooting, seventeen year old
- 36:55Speaker 1: David Hogg. Franks alone used derogatory terms against a teenager
- 36:58Speaker 1: now claims he's a shame. Fox News personality Laura Ingraham
- 37:01Speaker 1: also mocked the same person, young Mr Hogg, and then
- 37:04Speaker 1: several advertisers pulled their commercials from her shell, so she says, well,
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You must remember, David Hogg was the only
- 37:11Speaker 1: student who said quite eloquently that he felt that a
- 37:13Speaker 1: big reason that he and his classmates were receiving so
- 37:16Speaker 1: much attention was because of their white skin privilege, and
- 37:19Speaker 1: that they should use that privilege to press for action
- 37:22Speaker 1: for the people of color who often faced possibility of
- 37:24Speaker 1: gun violence, but who nobody cares about. That's what David
- 37:27Speaker 1: hoggs said. And today is I'll find a rainbow day
- 37:31Speaker 1: and we'll be back with more entertainment. Today's trending topics
- 37:34Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour and the Steve Harvey Morning show.
- 37:36Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Show. More tensions over the
- 37:41Speaker 1: weekend in Sacramento, guys, Stefan Clark was shot six times
- 37:46Speaker 1: in the back. The doctor who performed a second autopsy
- 37:49Speaker 1: on the body of Stefan Clark confirmed that Clark was
- 37:52Speaker 1: shot eight times. Dr Bennett oh ma Lu oh Ma
- 37:56Speaker 1: Lu said six of those shots were in the back.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Stefan Clark was un named when he was shot by
- 38:02Speaker 1: He was unarmed, I should say, when he was shot
- 38:04Speaker 1: by police earlier this month. It was on March eighteen,
- 38:07Speaker 1: to be exact, while in his grandmother's backyard. If the
- 38:11Speaker 1: name Dr Bennett Ohmalu sounds familiar to you, it should
- 38:15Speaker 1: because he is best known for his work diagnosing brain
- 38:18Speaker 1: damage in football players. Remember Will Smith played him uh
- 38:23Speaker 1: in the movie Concussion. If you saw that. Yeah. Also,
- 38:28Speaker 1: retired Sacramento basketball player Matt Barnes is back in the
- 38:31Speaker 1: news because he launched a scholarship fund to get Stefan
- 38:34Speaker 1: Clark's two young sons, two young kids through college. Um,
- 38:39Speaker 1: so that's great news there. I mean, at least they're
- 38:42Speaker 1: college education, you know, is paid for. They won't have
- 38:45Speaker 1: to worry about that they lost their father, of course.
- 38:47Speaker 1: But I don't even understand how there isn't any more
- 38:54Speaker 1: uproar from other people other than black people. This has
- 39:00Speaker 1: to become appalling to a serious number of other people
- 39:05Speaker 1: in order for this to stop. They are not going
- 39:08Speaker 1: to stop killing us because we don't want them to.
- 39:13Speaker 1: That's not how this will end. This will end when
- 39:17Speaker 1: other people get as outraged as black people are. This
- 39:22Speaker 1: is the only way this will end. The only way
- 39:25Speaker 1: this will end is if there are consequences to police
- 39:30Speaker 1: officers who murder black people for no reason. See right now,
- 39:36Speaker 1: there are no consequences of these police officers get to
- 39:42Speaker 1: go home after murdering seventy five black people that you
- 39:48Speaker 1: hear about in the news, and while they're investigating their
- 39:51Speaker 1: unpaid and the dude that choked the man out on
- 39:56Speaker 1: the corner for selling cigarettes, Eric Gardner and Alton Sterling,
- 40:02Speaker 1: he free of all of them. They're off until they
- 40:11Speaker 1: are consequences. See, we've got to stop with this in
- 40:15Speaker 1: the line of duty, because what they're making that out
- 40:19Speaker 1: is it's as long as you at work in uniform,
- 40:23Speaker 1: If you at work, you can kill a black person.
- 40:26Speaker 1: And if you say you felt your life was threatened
- 40:30Speaker 1: if you kill a white person, you it won't be
- 40:32Speaker 1: that way. Do you think the officer is gonna get
- 40:35Speaker 1: away with it that killed that innocent white lady that
- 40:39Speaker 1: walked up to the car. I bet you he don't
- 40:42Speaker 1: and he shouldn't. All right, coming up at thirty or
- 40:45Speaker 1: four after, we're gonna switch gears and uh inject some comedy,
- 40:49Speaker 1: more comedy into the show. With comedy, Roulette will be
- 40:52Speaker 1: right back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 40:56Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is time Steve for comedy Roulett.
- 41:00Speaker 1: You ready, Jay explained it again. Let me break this down.
- 41:03Speaker 1: We have new listeners who don't have any idea of
- 41:06Speaker 1: what we're doing. Comment very simple, Give us five subjects
- 41:10Speaker 1: five anything you want. Put them on the wheel. Spun
- 41:13Speaker 1: the wheel stop, Yes, spun. Spun it around as in
- 41:18Speaker 1: to be spunt around as in spin that's totally different. Red,
- 41:24Speaker 1: spun it around, whit stop. We'll do the damn thing
- 41:28Speaker 1: here we go, all right. Number one things you say
- 41:32Speaker 1: to yourself when you're mad at someone. Number two you
- 41:37Speaker 1: know it's time to go to the store. When dot
- 41:39Speaker 1: dot dot Number three stuff you don't like to watch,
- 41:43Speaker 1: but you watch it. Anyway to keep them happy. You
- 41:46Speaker 1: know we all know about that or him whatever. Number four,
- 41:58Speaker 1: Number four, you know she's not coming back when okay,
- 42:02Speaker 1: number five, people who never chip in, come on, let's
- 42:08Speaker 1: go cat, let's be jes Woa it came on. Number one.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Things you say to yourself when you're mad at someone, yourself,
- 42:29Speaker 1: when you're mad at someone. Oknn, hear some things you
- 42:34Speaker 1: say to yourself when you're mad at somebody. I'm gonna
- 42:38Speaker 1: let it go this time, but the next damn time. Oh,
- 42:43Speaker 1: it's gonna be hell up on me. Hell, it's gonna
- 42:45Speaker 1: be hell. Just when I always say to myself, but
- 42:48Speaker 1: I'm mad at other people, I'm trying not to go jail.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I'm doing my best. You say, I'm calling my best
- 42:54Speaker 1: right now. I'm trying not to go to jail. You're
- 42:57Speaker 1: really mad. No, No, you're mad court dates everything you nephew,
- 43:05Speaker 1: you know what? You know what? That's all right? Drink
- 43:08Speaker 1: that water that I put up in that drink that
- 43:13Speaker 1: drink all right. Things you say to yourself when you're
- 43:17Speaker 1: mad at someone. Steve better go head on, you better
- 43:26Speaker 1: go head on. This is black, that's all that is God.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Thing you say to yourself when you're mad at somebody. Lord,
- 43:41Speaker 1: please work with me, Jesus, Father, Father, take me down
- 43:48Speaker 1: so I don't kill us. That's why I always say

- 47:28Speaker 1: a potlok thing. Everybody brains something right on. Christian ain't
- 47:33Speaker 1: never told me like that about what about something about
- 47:35Speaker 1: not getting no married? Okay, we'll see right here, Like
- 47:38Speaker 1: I said, this is what the family doesn't decided on.

- 48:23Speaker 1: person you're gonna be in the family. We can't add it.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Who is this again? This butcher right here? I don't
- 48:28Speaker 1: know no butcher. Look, I came to the family gathering picnic.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I came there and showed up, loving on all y'all,
- 48:34Speaker 1: telling y'all great, this is gonna be. And now you're

- 48:43Speaker 1: that's it. I ain't marrying the family, you man. You're

- 49:47Speaker 1: told you that the family didn't voted on that the win.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I don't give up what the family voted on. How
- 49:53Speaker 1: don't pay for this? I ain't heard nothing from Christian
- 49:56Speaker 1: about this. Christian might not know what we didn't voted on.
- 49:59Speaker 1: We made the season. Um sometimes for everybody you understand

- 50:17Speaker 1: of it. Man out of here. I don't paid all
- 50:19Speaker 1: this money for this man. You ain't stopping. Hey man,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I haven't already told you what we're doing. All right,
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'm nothing to continue to go back and forth with you.
- 50:26Speaker 1: You better go off my all, raising your voice at me.
- 50:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I'll tell you what. Let me say
- 50:31Speaker 1: this to you. I don't care if I got to
- 50:33Speaker 1: bust up in that church and stop this wedding because
- 50:36Speaker 1: you don't win against what we just said. Whatever I
- 50:38Speaker 1: got to do, I don't know who you with. I
- 50:41Speaker 1: wish your try to stop this wedding. Look, we can
- 50:44Speaker 1: handle it right now. I can get off of work.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I'm already going through some books and I'm already on fire.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I will come there and bust yo. Right now, do

- 51:14Speaker 1: just trying to say, it's a harm family hunting. I
- 51:17Speaker 1: don't want to hear nothing about this no more. Tell
- 51:19Speaker 1: me where to beat and we can deal with this
- 51:21Speaker 1: right now. I'm just letting you know. The family then
- 51:24Speaker 1: voted the founding and already voting. Now what we will
- 51:27Speaker 1: do we'll push the wind back and and then give
- 51:30Speaker 1: us time to reevaluate you and we evaluate me. I
- 51:33Speaker 1: don't even know evaluate you from y'all. And then Christie
- 51:36Speaker 1: getting married and I put some money on this. All
- 51:38Speaker 1: I know is the wed and ain't happening that the

- 51:54Speaker 1: trying to say alone. Amen, I'm trying to tell you
- 51:57Speaker 1: man right now, the family don't want you in the
- 52:00Speaker 1: family right now. I don't give about you. Ain't in
- 52:03Speaker 1: love with y'all. I'm here and Christins can give up.
- 52:05Speaker 1: If I see y'all ever again. I'm gonna tell you
- 52:08Speaker 1: this here. The family voted on one more thing. You
- 52:10Speaker 1: need to go on. Know that while we at it.
- 52:12Speaker 1: This ain't no damn democracy. We're getting married between and
- 52:16Speaker 1: I and if y'all I don't want to be there,
- 52:18Speaker 1: jump off and at this. Yeah, it's one more thing.
- 52:21Speaker 1: We didn't vote it on what you don't vote it on.
- 52:24Speaker 1: We voted on this. This is nephew Tommy from the
- 52:27Speaker 1: Steve Hobby Morning Show. Christians and Todd Family got me
- 52:32Speaker 1: to prank phone call you y'all. I'm still to come
- 52:40Speaker 1: to the wedding, Tommy, I don't put all that money
- 52:48Speaker 1: out like that. I was like, you know, sign, I
- 52:51Speaker 1: got one more thing. I got to ask you, dog,
- 52:53Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest and I mean the

- 54:45Speaker 1: Just coming up, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 54:51Speaker 1: It's the Strawberry Letter. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Before we got to the Strawberry Letter, Steve, Now, what
- 54:59Speaker 1: did you want to throw out before we went? Here's
- 55:02Speaker 1: a question, and I want everybody to go to my
- 55:05Speaker 1: Instagram page and then because I might post it tomorrow.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Should I come back for at least one special? Should I?
- 55:18Speaker 1: When you say come back, you mean you stand Should
- 55:22Speaker 1: I come back to stand up and do one most special?
- 55:27Speaker 1: I think he'd come back. I think you want to. Yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 1: that's what it is, because because you keep bringing it
- 55:34Speaker 1: up that he's still hungry. Yeah, I think you should.
- 55:41Speaker 1: And there's so much going on in the world right now,
- 55:45Speaker 1: why wouldn't you want to come back this world? This? Yeah,
- 55:50Speaker 1: but I'm gonna have to talk to you all off
- 55:52Speaker 1: the air because let me have the idea. I got
- 55:54Speaker 1: this a little bit different than that. Oh oh really,
- 55:59Speaker 1: so okay, So when you posted you want people to vote, yes,
- 56:03Speaker 1: vote now I'm gonna post it on Instagram. Should I
- 56:08Speaker 1: come back? Should the king return? Or shall I say,
- 56:14Speaker 1: should one of the kings return? Should I do? I
- 56:19Speaker 1: have all? Lord? I got something to say, though. I
- 56:22Speaker 1: think you should take your own advice at this point.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Don't leave this earth doing the thing you're supposed to
- 56:26Speaker 1: do and not know it. If you know you're suposed
- 56:28Speaker 1: to do this, show, do it. Boy, what's good advice? Jr.
- 56:34Speaker 1: That's very good advice. And I was too. But but
- 56:38Speaker 1: if I think about it, one thing you do the best.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I don't want to do it. Don't leave nothing to
- 56:44Speaker 1: right because you don't ever wanted to be a question. Man,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I should have done that. I should have done You
- 56:49Speaker 1: didn't do it? Yeah, I said, he come back and
- 56:51Speaker 1: do it? Show with hunting folk man that before I
- 56:55Speaker 1: get out of here. Boy, you probably it's almost like
- 56:58Speaker 1: you you have to steve because is it? It's itching?
- 57:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know you have that itch, you have
- 57:03Speaker 1: that hunger. It hasn't it hasn't itched me before. Now,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I don't you know, what a man. But like I'm just,
- 57:14Speaker 1: I don't want to do like so many people do.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I went out on top. I didn't want to stay
- 57:21Speaker 1: too long there. I closed my career filling up arenas,
- 57:27Speaker 1: not theaters arenas. I closed selling out Phillips selling out
- 57:35Speaker 1: MGM god, I closed selling out the Verizon. I closed
- 57:40Speaker 1: selling out radio sit That's how I called heavy? Is
- 57:44Speaker 1: the itch? Is it? Every days? Yeah? I've been thinking
- 57:48Speaker 1: about it, man, because well, okay, here's a question. Do
- 57:53Speaker 1: you do like let's say and Eddie Murphy used to
- 57:56Speaker 1: do or Kevin Hart does now? And you do smaller
- 57:59Speaker 1: arenas and work out your your stuff and then go
- 58:02Speaker 1: to work. But I'm just going to the spot. Oh
- 58:06Speaker 1: of course, all right, we gotta get to the letter
- 58:08Speaker 1: right now. But we're gonna we're gonna revisit Thistaco tunes.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Have a wish wish, we'll talk about it more. Let's look,
- 58:27Speaker 1: let's get to the cross sad buggle up, hold on time,
- 58:31Speaker 1: we got it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter
- 58:33Speaker 1: s crowd Saturday. Here we go, Um subject, what should
- 58:38Speaker 1: I do here? Good morning everyone there in the studio.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I got this problem that I always find the perfect woman. Well,
- 58:46Speaker 1: it sort of perfect to be with me. I'm a tall,
- 58:48Speaker 1: dark and very handsome young man trying to make it
- 58:52Speaker 1: in life. But right now I don't feel that way
- 58:55Speaker 1: because I thought part of being a man is to
- 58:57Speaker 1: treat your woman like you would care for your mother.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I'm nice to her, but she says she doesn't like
- 59:02Speaker 1: me being nice to her all the time. At times
- 59:05Speaker 1: she wants me to hit her because every time we argue,
- 59:10Speaker 1: I walk away and just ask why, why? Why? Darn it? Why? Okay,
- 59:18Speaker 1: well you can say that I would never even think
- 59:21Speaker 1: of putting I would never even think of putting a
- 59:23Speaker 1: hand on a woman. What should I do? Should I
- 59:26Speaker 1: stay I really do love her? Or should I go?
- 59:29Speaker 1: Please help sign? Dang ladies, I'm a good man. Okay,
- 59:36Speaker 1: dear good man, there's a little letter, big issues. You say.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You're tall, you're dark, you're very handsome, and trying to
- 59:43Speaker 1: make it in life with a sort of perfect woman
- 59:45Speaker 1: for you. Let me just tell you that a woman
- 59:47Speaker 1: who's perfect for you will have your back. She'll have
- 59:50Speaker 1: similar goals and interests. She'll have, you know, similar aspirations
- 59:55Speaker 1: that you have. She'll be with you, she'll be loving you,
- 59:58Speaker 1: she'll be supporting you as you make your way. As
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you say in life, a woman who thinks you're too
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: nice and wants you to hit her is crazy. Okay,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this woman she's drama filled. You want to stay away
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: from that. This woman is not a good match for you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Please know that no real woman wants her man to
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: hit her. You know the best thing to me about
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: this whole letter is that you've had a good sense
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to walk away when the arguments, you know, get heated,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and not put your hands on her. As far as
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a man treating his woman, uh like his mom, I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: say not exactly. You know, of course you want to
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: respect your woman and all of that. But the way
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you love your woman is going to be different from
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: the way you love your mom. But yes, by all
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: means treat her well, you know, be a good man
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to her. You say you really do love her. Should
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you stay or should you go? I don't think you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: should stay. I just I just really don't you. You
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: guys are not right for each other. You say you're
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: a good man, you need a good woman by your side,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: not one this drama field and wants you to hit her,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you know, and all that stuff. She's trouble. She's just
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: trouble and and it means, you know, good Steve. Well,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: it's a hard one here because it doesn't make no sense.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: You need to read it again. And they got it broke.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Let me see, good morning everyone here in the studio.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I got this problem that I always find a perfect woman,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: well sort of perfect to be with me. I'm a
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: tall dog and fair, handsome young man trying to make
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: it in life. Right now. I don't feel that way
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: because I thought part of being a man that is
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to treat your woman like you would care for your mother.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I'm nice to help, but she said she don't like
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: me being nice to her all the time. She won't
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: mean it hither every time we all, I walk away?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Why why, why? Why? I could never even think of
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: putting my hand on woman? What should I do? Should

- 1:02:16Speaker 1: you see a man that describes himself, I'm a tall
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: dog and very handsome young man. How you know, times
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you're just spending the mirror looking telling yourself, Oh, I'm
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a very tall dog, very handsome young man. But right
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: now I don't feel that way. I don't. Oh now
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you don't feel pretty. When I come back, I'm gonna
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: break down. All right. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour you're
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: listening to show. Today's technology makes a lot of things easier,

- 1:03:39Speaker 1: promo code. Harvey. Al Right, guys, uh Steve, let's get
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to part two of your response to today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I've been reading the letter a couple of times while
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: we was gonna break I see it now. You know.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I'm a tall dog and very handsome young man trying
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to make an in life. But right now I don't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: feel that way because I felt that part of being
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a man is to treat your woman like you would
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: care for your mother. Well, that's an exact true statement, Shirley,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I have to tell you because what he said was correct.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I thought part of being a man is to treat
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: your woman like you would care for your mother. That's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: the treatment of his woman. It's similar to the treatment
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: of his mother, not the love so and now he's
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: absolutely correct. Then dot dot dot dot. I'm nice to her,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: but she says she doesn't like me being nice to
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: her all the time. At times she wants me to
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: hit her because every time we all go I walk
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: away and just asked, then't it's a capital letter? Why? Why?
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Why damn it? Why? It sounds like he's a winy
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: type little dude. Oh you he got to be young man.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: If he ain't, this letter is in far worse condition
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: than his shoes. But if he's in his thirties, this
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: is really we're getting close to catastrophe. I would never
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: even think of putting my hand on woman. What should
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I do? I? Should I stay? I really do love?
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Or should I go? Please sign? Damn? Ladies, I'm a
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: good man. Well, brother, let's let's not be so quick.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Maybe it's some other areas in manhood. You lacking? Like
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: number one? I thank you full of yourself. You're such
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a perfect man, and you love her so much? What
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: is y'all aging about all the time? And then why
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you always do the perfect thing? You walk away and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: you ask yourself why? Why? Why? Damn why? That's because
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you're a drama made hill. I thank your asses, heavily
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: involved in Shakespeare some other type of actor. Of course
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: that I really do. I think he's a drama guy. Well,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: a few things. You want them to know you you
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: don't hit women. You want them to know that you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: want him to know that you're tall, dark, and very handsome,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: and you want him to know that. Damn you're a
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: good man. Well are you really tall? Five seven? Do
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you have a little hand? Damn, ladies, I'm a good man.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: One thing I know about being a real good man.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Somebody's daughter gonna won't you. Donna want you as soon
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: as somebody threw with your Somebody gonna want you, pat
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: But you can't seem to hold it together. So let's
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: really start evaluating a couple of things here. First of all,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I don't think you're tall. I think you're five seven.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: I don't think you're dark at all. I think you're high, yell,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I think you're five seven high, and then very very
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I think your little glass little boy, I think your
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: little troll dog look a little. I think you're rolling
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: around and scanned people off. I don't know what that
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: happened at the house, you know? Did she borrow your brushes?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Is that what y'all all about? Did you did you
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: tell her to stop and pointed at it with one
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: of them a little bit of hands? Was you standing
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: on the steps talking to trying to appear tall? I
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: know my answer appears ridiculous, but ridiculous letters require ridiculous responses,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: So let's just go on. So why, why, why? Why?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I think it's time for a point. Come on, So
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: dark and lovely and tall? Am I trying to figure
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: out the single question? Why? I asked myself in all
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: my beauty? Does anybody think I'm tall? Anybody but me?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Some people say I'm tall. I'm only five seven. But
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: when I'm with my woman, I swear she feels like
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: she's in heaven. But I wear her, treat her. I
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: treat her just like my mother, But she says, hold on,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: little boy, I want to feel like another Maybe I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: want to feel like I'm your lover. Have me like
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: your mother would be. I want to be like your
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: girl would be. Spank me, big Daddy, spank me. I'll
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: call you big Daddy. Even though you're small. I call
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you big Daddy, even though you ain't tall. You're only
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: five seven. I'm the doorstep to heaven. But I look
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: at you. Are you my man? I can't tell? Because
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you all right, Steve, We've got to get out of here.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You can email us or instagram us your thoughts on
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter at my girls, surely and don't forget.

- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Eastern Time for the Strawberry Letter Live after show on Facebook.

- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you who joined me, I appreciate it. Tell your friends
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: switching gears. Now, the Dash for d C is over.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: What am I talking about? Well, that was fast, I said.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: The Dash for d C is over. A month after
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: launching her campaign. I'm talking about Stacy Dash. Now, Stacy
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: has ended her run for Congress. Yeah, okay, this is
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: what she said. This is what she posted on Twitter. Okay,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: she said. She said at this point, she said, at
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: this point, I believe that the overall bitterness surrounding our
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: political process. Participating in the rigors of campaigning and holding
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: elected office would be detrimental to the health and saying
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: of my family. She said. Riggers, riggers with an aura.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: The outspoken Republican Stacy Dash was running for a seat
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: from the Compton slash Watts area of l A. Said
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: she'd continued to speak out about the problems facing her district.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: So there you go, she's ended her Campa watched she
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: wasn't gonna win that ending her campaign, and thousands were
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: at the White House Easter egg Roll. Will tell you
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: about that too, what the President had to say to
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: the children when we come back. You're listening to the
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. Yesterday, nearly thirty thousand people attended the
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: White House Easter egg Roll. Now do you remember last
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: year Sean Spicer who was Press Secretary, then he was
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: dressed as the Easter Bunny. Remember that? Well, this year,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: the White House planned a lot of activities for the children,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: including First Lady Milania Trump added lawn bowling, which is fun,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: they say. They were cookie and egg decoration activities, and
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: kids made greeting cards for the troops. Uh. Sarah Sanders,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the Press secretary read to the kids, and the President
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: of Sarah Sanders, Yeah, she read to the kids, did
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: and the President had something to say to the kids.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Check it out. Take a listen. Our military will soon
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: be at a level that it's never been before. It's
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you see what's happening, and you see what's happening with funding.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: The funding of our military was so important and so
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: many military people are with us today. So just think
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: of seven hundred billion dollars because that's all going into
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: our military this year. Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: can we at the Eastern can we play the right
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: sound bite? That's it, that's what. That's what he says.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Think about funding the kids? Was going to he says,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: finding damn eggs out here. Then he said, just think
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: about funding the kids? Was going Did he say it's
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: time to find him? No, he said funding We're trying
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: to find him. That you and your wife with that accent,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: what is going on? But the dude that I love
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: them most is little Barren. Barren just was trying to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: hide behind the pole. Bar don't give a dam about
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: being the first boy. Where Barron has no interest in
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: being first boy. He don't he don't give it that
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: first lady whatever. I don't give a damn about being
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the first boy because it ain't been a boy in
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: the White House in a long time. Because the Obama's
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: had two girls. George Bush had two girls president girl.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You know you know what Bush daughters got drunk this
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: doing what college kids do. So it ain't he don't
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: even care about being the first boy. I just that's
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: my dude right there. He looked so damn un concerned.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: He was hide behind the pole man whatever. Yeah, to
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: keep pulling them out. I really have to do dad. Yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: because they pulled him out behind that pole. He would
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: write over that was a crazy speech to give to
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: some kids, kids who want hey back Donald Trump and
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: he's a billion that he don't have fun. He makes money. Yeah,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: money moves. We can quit tripping. Yeah. This dude fitting
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: to beat, He fit to du mo. This is what Yeah.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Well and even with all of that, the nephew is
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: still here. He still took the time to us an
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: easter poem. It let's do it, let's do it. It
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: is y'all. Y'all just gotta feel me on this one. Now,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: feel me, Okay, I'm feeling. I didn't see my side
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: piece this easter. The candy of my eye, so I
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: got no chocolate bunny, and this brown just wants to die. No,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I didn't see my side peeps this easter. Had to
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: spend it with my folks. No, I didn't see my
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: side piece this Easter. And I'm sad. And that's no
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: yokel right, that's sad. That's no yoke. Boy. You want
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: there working that easter? O. Your side piece was calling you,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: but you just wouldn't take her call. I think that
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: you thought the better of it, because you were sitting
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: there in front of all. If you had picked up
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: your phone and said, hello, girl, how are you? You
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and I both know that that would have been the
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: end of you. Easter ain't the same, never will be
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: for you. Your stupid ass had an answer that phone,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: nor dumb ass would have been through. So your side
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: pieces where she should be somewhere on the side and
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: remember the upcoming holiday. Her ass is still gonna have
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: to have let him know that they in second place.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: That's where you need to stay. I wanted to let
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: this food. If you love it, I love it. That
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: was great, beautiful, beautiful. Oh you did that. You did
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: damn thing. This is the day you can go see
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: side piece. But now this is the day. Yeah right,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you can roll up take that Easter month easter basket,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: but a couple of slices of ham you brought from
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: that wrapped up and fall. Come on, girl, I got
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: some fun. But yeah, I got some cranberry sauce, steel
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: cold banana because I'm thinking about you. Banana then turn
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: brown a little bit. Wow is the day you roll up?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Side pieces? This your day. I'm sorry, guys, I got
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I have to hear this one more time. What did
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: the president say to the kids? I just can't believe
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: our military will soon be at a level that it's
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: never been before. Or it's you see what's happening, and
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: you see what's happening with funding. The funding of our
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: military was so important and so many military people are
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: with us today. So just think of seven hundred billion
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: dollars because that's all going into our military this year.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: How did we just cannot believe? What did we do
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: as a people that would make us end with the
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: president and didn't vote? Absolutely and didn't vote. You're absolutely right. Yeah,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: let that be a lesson to those of you who
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: voted and didn't vote. All right, coming up at the
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: top of the hour, we're gonna talk about the n
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: C Double A Championship. Guys. You saw the game, Steve, right,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: novod Boris was just too too strong. Right after this,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, last night, Steve,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: it was the n C Double A Championship. No vote
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: the championship game. It's too much that way they spread
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: their team. You know, they had athletes on Michigan. You know,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I was hoping Michigan could give them a little bit
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: more because they had some athletes over there. But Villanova, man,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: they just they so well coached. Could that team be
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the proteins? Hell? No, no, don't no, no protein. They
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: as they couldn't be the protein if if they played
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: one out of ten series, they're not gonna beat the program.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: And why do you say that? Because they're pros at
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: a whole another level. Most of the college kids will
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: never see the pros. Understand that all these dudes that's
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: college stars there you're gonna be I'm talking about the
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: worst protein in the league. I'm talking about the worst
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: protein but at Gonzaga. Don't send nobody to the pros.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: But they're a good team though, produce. Don't say nobody
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to the What about Cleveland? The Cleveland Browns. Could they
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: beat the Clevelanrown? Yeah? Probably, Michigan could beat the clear
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and we also that's what, No, they could beat the
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: brown We beat right, y'all have a one. We're switching
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: from football. The Browns haven't won in two seasons. They
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: have not won one game two years. Okay, back to
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: the n C double A. Don't we don't want to
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: depress you. See congratulations building over wildcast and let's just
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: drop it there. We also have to congratulate Notre Dame.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: They beat Mississippi State sixty eight Sunday night. Broke my heart, man,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: I was pulling from them girls out of the silp
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: so bad. Man, that's two years in the row. They'd
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: have lost that thing. But the tall girl, Triman's, she filed. Man.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I wish I could go down there and work with her,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: because she just has to learn how to take one bounce,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: collect herself then turned. But they got her where they
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: throw it to as soon as she get it, they
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: got her turning. Y'all gotta teach her how to dribble
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and collect herself then turned. She would be unstoppable if
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: she had a drop step. If I could just work
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: with that and show her a drop step. Speaking of help,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: could you help Kevin Durant because he needs help to
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: what what is it? What is going on now? Man?
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: He'll be all right when it's clutched town. He's gonna
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: need know how to keep it Timber. I don't know
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: what's all them dudes. Man, They just firing for the million.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I would complain about nothing. Draymond get a lot of
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: technicals they just want a holiday. Man, y'all got the
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: best team on earth. Let's play the damn game. Let's
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: go win the damn games. Tone your hair, play the game.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: You have a temper, you get mad. We ain't playing
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: basketball though, can't nobody to fire me, can't about to
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: send you to the showered it out and then I
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: apologize on Twitter. That's how it worked. We wouldn't even
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: get through the show. We had a referee. Oh no,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you know Steve's nerve, Dad cussing on Steve flavor foul flavor.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Oh y'all you oh man, we cannot kick you out
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: of the game. We cannot have him getting fired at all.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Your temper is bad. So what would you tell Kevin
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Durant though, I mean, you know he got If he
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: gets another technical, he gets suspended for a game. And
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: with the playoffs coming, you can't afford that because they
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: got too many injuries. Draymond is injured, Steph Curry's injured.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: If he misses a game, the Golden State can't beat anyone.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Draymond Stefan and and and and and and Durant out, yeah,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: and Clay just coming back. But if Steph and Draymond
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: and Durant is not on the floor. The Golden State
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Warriors can't beat anybody in the playoffs conference because Steph
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: is hurt man, Durant has to maintain his poise and
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: stay on the floor. Clay Thompson and Draymond is not
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: enough to win no playoffs. Why doesn't he know that?
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Why don't he stay focused? You know that? But to
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: all of them dudes, Rashid Wallace new that. It's just
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: some dudes, man, and it once you get a reputation,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: you know the rest figured you're not gonna show me up.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: It was a bad call on the rent. It really
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: was a bad call on the technical and the lack
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of file call it. But it is what it is, man.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: It's not gonna change nothing. You you gripe and don't
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: change the call. Nobody said, Hey, he's houlding at me,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: let it go. Change call. But you're saying, calm it
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: down now so he won't get another one and and
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: miss if he gets another one, he misses a playoff
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: game and they will not win that game. Without Steph,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Cary and Durant on the floor. They can't. The team
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: is not that good because they other players. They need
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: him what they be doing. They shot for a balls?
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: What they do? Listen, we gotta move on for air
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: balls in the half hit no real, no money coming
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: up and do that? Give me that ball? Coming up next,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about you. Guys are gonna love this
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: job openings at Netflix and at a new dist camp
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the stew Alright, staying
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: home and binge watching your favorite Netflix shows is a
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: common occurrence these days. A lot of us do that,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: right well. Netflix recently listed a new job opening for
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: what they call an editorial analyst of original content. Now
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: what that means is the job is basically a professional
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: binge TV watcher. Okay, alright. Netflix recently listed a new
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: job Steve for an opening. They call it an editorial
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: analyst of original content. Okay, that's what the job if.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: That's the technical term of the job. But really it's
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: just basically a professional binge watcher. If you're into binge
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: watching TV, this would be the job for you. Editorial
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: analyst of original content. That's what you can tell your friends.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Or I work for net Flicks, you know, I'm an
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: editorial analyst of original cont Yeah, but yeah, what all
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you do. All you're doing is being binge watching TV.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: So listen, you're not right. And then qualified candidates must
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: be knowledgeable about TV and movies and have an ability
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: to summarize what they're watching. Plus plenty of time, plenty
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: of time on their hands, which this counts you out, Steve,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: plenty of time on their hands to watch TV, to
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: watch the programming. Okay, so do you think who do
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: you think would be good at this job? At the
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: job binge watching? Yeah, binge watching, Steve, you couldn't do
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: it because you have too many other jobs. Watch I'm
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: being making you own TV and can't watch yourself making making?
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: But when you watch TV? Do you watch a lot
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: of Netflix? Well? I watched some olt Man. I've got
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: to tell you if you have to watch Netflix. Birdman's
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: documentary of his life is called Before Anything. That was
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: My faith, Before Anything, Before a n y th h
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: a n G Before Anything. My favorite dude man, bird
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Man is my favorite. That dog. I love that dude man.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: He reminds me. His friends reminded me so much of
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: my friends. You know, I never was in the dope
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: or nothing like that. I'm not saying that at all.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't just the attitude, but the way I grew
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: up with them cats and they loyalty to me and
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: our friendship and the things we did on a much
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: different level. Me and my boys wasn't dealing dope or
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: nothing like that. But Birdman's story Man was so compelling.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: Man and how he turned his life around. And Man
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: before anything, I love the name Vision, his boy, his brother, Slim,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: the neighbor of the programs produced by Slim Vision. Love
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: of dudes. Man, you don't even understand how I feel
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: about that boy right there, Man before anything. Okay, it's
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: just like that, just everything rough and some stuff left out.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: I can promise you that some pieces listening in here.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: But it was enough. You know, somebody came to me.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: They came to me about my life document. Who's gonna
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: play me? Well? Nothing silence from sad Marv the Steve
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve text day is April seventeen,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: So I wanted to ask you. See April seventeen, we
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: got an extra day, extra couple of days this year
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: because of the way it falls. What what Well, you know,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: the fifteen. Yeah, the fifteen falls on a Sunday this year,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: so we got couple of next year. What did you
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: just say, Tom? I asked you, did you file quarterly anyway? Yeah?
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Listen to me, Tom, April matter to everybody living. Okay,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: I don't give it damn you send it quarter, you
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: send it in daily. On the fifty, I asked, gonna
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: find a way to Waltson more Oki, Steve. I brought
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: that up because you know it's close and I just
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: wanted to know if you have any tax tips. That
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: was a good one. I think pay your taxes, dude.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: The people not at all. I want to play with
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: these people and everything computerized. Now, don't even play with
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: these people. I stay so legal and clean. Now, Lord him,
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: if I ow you, I'm gonna pay. You might be
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: a little late, but Lord Jesus, before we get into
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: calling me, you're gonna have it. You know. If you're
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: getting that letter opening and call, don't let that letter.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Don't be taking about note man, the hell with you? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: don't do not let the letter right with coming with
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: red right red writing that means open open, miss you
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: for the information. Change and now act like you don't
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: see this color. Yeah, Steve, do you think it's best
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: to people file their own taxes or if they should
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: get a tax preparer? Well, I mean, if you've got
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: a simple, simple job, if you're single and simple, you
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: don't need to pay nobody. You can just do what
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: you're self. They got apps and stuff that walk you
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: right through the thing. It's real simple. If you ain't
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: got no dependence, you're just filing taxes. You've been paying.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Just write your stuff down. You ain't got no right off.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Ain't even playing with you. If you got a spouse
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: and you got kids, I highly recommend you let somebody
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: look at your taxes because you could be missing childcare,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: daycare credits. You could be missing uh new laws. See
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: this new law that Trump them pass. It's some stuff
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: in there. Fight, So I would recommend getting somebody to
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: look at it because you could miss because there is
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: some stuff in there for you in this new one.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: And you don't want to go to a place that
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: does taxes and lawnmore repair, stay out of there. If
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: if they do tax is anything else, Yeah, taxes and bacon.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: You don't want to do that. You don't want to
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: go in if they do taxes and tree trimming. Don't
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: go don't go in there, get your taxes while you
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: wait for your hold up. Let me finish these shoes.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: I can work on your taxes. Don't go in there.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Don't go in there. What about barbershops, beauty shops in
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: tax No, they as in trouble too. The dude in
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: the fourth share it's gonna work. Don't let no relatives
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: do yours. The smartest one because he wears glasses and
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: the phrase I learned this in jail, so I can
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: do your tax Yeah, you ain't. Adding the frame. Coming
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: up next, Steve Harvey is back with his with his
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: closing remarks, Thank God, because Lord remember Tommy's from yesterday
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: about the side pieces. You're listening to? All right, Steve,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: last break of the Daytime for your clothing remarks. What
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: do you have for us today? My friend? Well, um,
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: I did UH and Act like a Success seminar this
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: past weekend on Saturday down at in Los Angeles by
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: the airport at the Renaissance Hotel. Uh. Doreen Raymie does
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: a good job of running my Act like a Success seminars.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: And I was a keynote speaker at the graduation on Saturday.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: And so I'm gonna bring a piece of that to
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: what I talked to him about. And I want to
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: keep motivating people. One of the greatest motivations in my
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: life was my dreams. My dreams were so motivating to
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: me because it put me in a place of not
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: so much focusing on where I was, but it caused
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: me to put my focus on where I was headed,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: and so as dismal as to where I was was,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: it didn't throw me off as sinking of a feeling
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: as I had at times in my life. Because of
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: my dreams, I didn't I didn't feel sunken as low
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: as I had gotten at some points in my life.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: I didn't ever think I wasn't gonna ever come up
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: because of my dreams. My dreams inspired me to keep going.
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: So what I'm saying to you is this, People asked me, Steve,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: what motivates you? What makes you keep going? It's my dreams.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: What causes you to keep getting up going to work
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: when you sick, fighting through all the stuff they're saying
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: about you. How do you handle all this negativity around
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: you and you just keep going. It's my dreams, It's
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: my faith in God. It's my faith in God that
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: there's no way He brought me this far to leave me.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: That because you hating on me, You ain't my God,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: you ain't my savior. You can't hate me out of
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: what He has for me, and you're hating me. Cannot
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: stop nothing God has for me or for you. So
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: my faith in God and my dreams have been my motivation.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: So let me share what I shared with them on Satday. Motivation.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Look at him? Now, this is good with motivation. It's
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: when your dreams put on work clothes. Did you hear me? Motivation?
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: It's when your dreams put on work clothes, when your
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: dreams dress up and go to that's the motivation. NW
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: you motivated. You don't put some work clothes on them dreams.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: Because see, you can stay sleep and have your dreams,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: or you can wake up and you can chase them.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: You need to wake up and chase them. You need
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: to wake up and chase them dreams. You need to
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: put some work clothes on them, jeans. You gotta get
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: some grit, some dirty on you. You gotta put work
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: clothes on your dreams. That's your motivation. I'm motivated because man,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: my dreams. They keep me going because it means I'm
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: headed somewhere. Your dreams make your head somewhere. Man, you
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: ain't gotta get stuck on him. Like I tell people
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: all the time that I keep a plaque in my
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: office in Atlanta that says, and and dude send it
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: to me. A friend of mine, when I was going
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: through a bunch of messed up stuff, he sent me
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: a plaque that says, if you're going through hell, just
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: keep going. Why would you stop down? Why would you
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: stop in hell? You're going through hell? Just keep going?
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: Because I'm heading somewhere. So all the hell I've been through,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: I survive at all because of my dreams, because of
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: my faith, Because my dreams allow me to think that
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: the better day is coming. So if a better day
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: is coming, why am I tripping so hard on what's
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: happening today? Because I know the better day is coming?
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Because one day, somehow, my God gonna make my dreams
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: come true. Simply because how you know that? Because he
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: said he would. Now, you tell me one thing he
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: said that ain't popped off. You tell me one promise
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: he made he ain't killed. You tell me one thing
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: he didn't assured you of that, you can't rest assured.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: That's gonna just name it. I'm listening. I'm listening. I'm listening. See,
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: I got that much sense as a Christian, as flawed
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: as I am, I have that much sense as a Christian.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: So those Christians of you, that's better than me. Congratulations.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: But guess what I know that about him though. I
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: know that his promises is true and I got to
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: know sister lean on him. So when you see me
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: falling and making mistakes and doing something wrong and not
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: staying on the white line, you can quit tripping with me.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: I'll get back on the line. Just give me a minute.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: I just fell off. I just made a mistake, that's all.
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: I said. Something shouldn't have said. I went somewhere I
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: shouldn't have went. I got that. I'm gonna get it together.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: Lord forgive me. And what she gonna do, and I'm
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: gonna get back up and I'm gonna get it right agreeing,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it right again. My dreams motivate me,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: My faith motivates me. Motivation is when your dreams put
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: on work clothes, you dig. That's what motivation is. When
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: I'm going to do something about making what I dream
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: about come true. My dreams got work clothes on them.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: So when you see me out there, my dreams gotta
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: work close. I'm trying to make it happen. My faith
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: in God gonna make sure that happened, and I just
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: give him something to touch my dream. Those are my
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: clothes remarks at that. All right, drop the mic, baby,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: drop the motivation. That's when your dreams put on work
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: close kind of thing. You better get it right. Keep it.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: I wasn'tupposed to say that. When you ended with that,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: just say some dynamics stuff. Y'all have a great don't
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: keep it. I like it. I like it. Keep it
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: in there. Just told me change my life. Y'all know
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: what I'm mean. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase
