- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the million bucks things in the stubbings
- 0:19Speaker 1: me through good to mother. Please, I don't join jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got to turn them out. Turn the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come, come on your tha uh huh
- 2:01Speaker 1: I show well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one it all. It's Steve Harvey.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man oh man, got a radio show, yo. Trying to
- 2:13Speaker 1: make it work too. I'm not trying. I'm I'm getting it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm getting it done to the best of my abilities. Now.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Something funny my father taught me. He said, son, when
- 2:26Speaker 1: you've done all you can do, if you've done your
- 2:30Speaker 1: absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
- 2:35Speaker 1: the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That used to bug me, man, when my father used
- 2:45Speaker 1: to tell me, that's the son, when you've done your
- 2:47Speaker 1: absolute best and you think you can't do no more.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You've done all you can and it still don't get
- 2:54Speaker 1: the job done. Take yourself a deep breath and do
- 3:00Speaker 1: some more. And you know what I found that has
- 3:04Speaker 1: worked every single time, every single time, because what my
- 3:11Speaker 1: father knew was that what you think is your breaking
- 3:17Speaker 1: point or what you think is your all at all,
- 3:21Speaker 1: he says, son, it's just something about it. Man. If
- 3:24Speaker 1: you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:35Speaker 1: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and you know it. Everybody does have some more. You know.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I tell that to my sons all the time, that
- 3:46Speaker 1: I did my best. Well, let manage you something else.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:52Speaker 1: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 1: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: well then okay, that's what you should have done. Then. See,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 1: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:13Speaker 1: very sad statement for you right now. You're never gonna
- 4:19Speaker 1: get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you can get a third of the way up. You
- 4:27Speaker 1: can get three quarters of the whale up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 1: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:34Speaker 1: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:38Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the drive and the gut wrenching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 1: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's just the top. There ain't but one top then
- 4:55Speaker 1: the middle done it ain't it? You know, the top,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the top of the mountain have where it's a different view.
- 5:01Speaker 1: At the top, things look different from up top. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you want to get to the top of whatever
- 5:08Speaker 1: your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is, you
- 5:15Speaker 1: got to do extra. You have to do more. More
- 5:19Speaker 1: is expected of you. More. But here's what's really crazy.
- 5:23Speaker 1: More is required of you. Don't live your life in
- 5:27Speaker 1: the lackadaisical state. Don't wake up every day with the
- 5:32Speaker 1: feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens, nah, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: have us say so in your life. You First of all,
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Who has God named the
- 5:45Speaker 1: person that God has given authority over you named the person?
- 5:51Speaker 1: But who is the person? Nobody has domain over you?
- 5:55Speaker 1: God didn't create that person. So what you're sitting here for? Man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: what do you say in here for letting people who
- 6:02Speaker 1: do not know direct your path? Why are you worried
- 6:07Speaker 1: about all these people with what they got to say
- 6:09Speaker 1: about you and all these people with what they got
- 6:12Speaker 1: to think about you? When here's the news flash, they
- 6:15Speaker 1: don't know either. All these people that you overly concerned about,
- 6:21Speaker 1: all these people that you go into these answers for,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they need answers to stop. What are you doing here?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Gather yourself for a minute. Here is a solution to
- 6:35Speaker 1: all of that. You have one source that will be
- 6:39Speaker 1: there for you till the end of time, and that
- 6:42Speaker 1: is your relationship with God. That is the one thing
- 6:46Speaker 1: that's solid and for show. He's behind the wall. He's
- 6:50Speaker 1: in your jail cell. He rides with you in the
- 6:53Speaker 1: police car. He's with you on your job up at school.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He's down there in the board meetings with you. He
- 7:00Speaker 1: goes with you when you travel on planes. He sits
- 7:03Speaker 1: with you when you're in a relationship. He helps you
- 7:06Speaker 1: with your parenting skills. He helps you. He's there to
- 7:09Speaker 1: assist you. He shows if you do the right things,
- 7:12Speaker 1: he show you and guide you to your next job.
- 7:14Speaker 1: When you lose your job and you think it's a
- 7:16Speaker 1: rap ah, there's some good behind him. Man, God is
- 7:20Speaker 1: always working on your behalf. To those that believe you,
- 7:23Speaker 1: just gotta believe. He won't ask you for nothing else.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Believe in me. That's all he asks you to do.
- 7:29Speaker 1: What you're tripping for. Man, And then when you make
- 7:32Speaker 1: the decision to believe in him, and it comes out
- 7:35Speaker 1: your mouth from time to time somewhere what you're worried about,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what people say, What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Why who are they? They need God to you? You're
- 7:45Speaker 1: telling them you found something new that you're gonna give
- 7:48Speaker 1: this a shot right here now. They got some yang
- 7:50Speaker 1: ying yang and some yakety yact to say about that
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they need God too. That's what amazes me, man
- 7:57Speaker 1: about people sit up in here, man, be knocking your
- 7:59Speaker 1: dreams and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man, do
- 8:02Speaker 1: your thing, do your thing. But you can't create no laws.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Why I can't do mine? That don't make no sense, Man,
- 8:09Speaker 1: that makes no sense at all to me. You have
- 8:12Speaker 1: the right to go be whatever you want to be.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You know, if you don't, you don't like the fact
- 8:17Speaker 1: that I'm in school. You got my head biled down
- 8:20Speaker 1: and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Just don't buy your head. Don't you pray? But if
- 8:25Speaker 1: some kids want to get to go that that's some
- 8:27Speaker 1: crazy mass. That's what happened in our schools. We took
- 8:29Speaker 1: prayer out of schools. And now look at our schools.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You send your child to school and and someone else
- 8:37Speaker 1: comes back home. That's a whole other thing right here.
- 8:41Speaker 1: That's not what I want to talk to you about.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But I was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 8:46Speaker 1: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 8:49Speaker 1: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 8:53Speaker 1: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 8:59Speaker 1: the that made you to find out what he created
- 9:02Speaker 1: you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who made
- 9:06Speaker 1: your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 1: why you got made? Don't that don't make sense to you?
- 9:18Speaker 1: If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation, you're
- 9:21Speaker 1: sitting in the jail cell somewhere you locked up. You're
- 9:24Speaker 1: doing some time, man, be a good time for you
- 9:27Speaker 1: to reflect. But whatever your situation is, man, God can
- 9:31Speaker 1: get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the courage to wherewithal the understanding everything you need, the
- 9:38Speaker 1: wisdom to get you through anything you're going through. You
- 9:41Speaker 1: just got a touch base with him. I need God
- 9:45Speaker 1: every single day of my life. And what He's done
- 9:50Speaker 1: for me man off the chain. But guess what he'll
- 9:55Speaker 1: do the same thing for you. You're listening show. One
- 10:02Speaker 1: time I said it, two times, I meant it three times.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I heard it come out your mouth. I said, good morning, y'all,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. What you wanna do different today? That
- 10:20Speaker 1: right there made no damn sense at all, and I
- 10:25Speaker 1: love it. But that right there, man, is how I
- 10:29Speaker 1: woke up this morning. I was kind of all over
- 10:32Speaker 1: the place. Then I gathered myself. I asked the Holy
- 10:36Speaker 1: Spirit to come sit with me, straighten me out. Just
- 10:41Speaker 1: I need you today. I'm filling out of thoughts. Touch me,
- 10:46Speaker 1: work with me. I came on in the hill and
- 10:49Speaker 1: this is what he gave me. I feel better already.
- 10:54Speaker 1: All right. God works in mysterious ways. Your normal ain't
- 10:58Speaker 1: my normal. Your regular ain't my regular. You're happy might
- 11:03Speaker 1: not be my happy. The way I said it off
- 11:07Speaker 1: might be completely different than the way you said it off.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah huh, because when I set it off, I set
- 11:14Speaker 1: the building on five. Yeah, that set it off. Ain't
- 11:22Speaker 1: no little I like her? I strike to strike a
- 11:24Speaker 1: match in the corner. Burn the garbage kid, none off.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I am whether slogan originated the roof, the roof the
- 11:38Speaker 1: ruf is own fire. Huh? We don't need no water?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Let this uh huh? Burn yes, burds yes, burn. Who
- 11:57Speaker 1: was there that who was there that night they did
- 11:59Speaker 1: the man? Oh man, old man. I feel like I'm
- 12:04Speaker 1: I'm the originator of that. I feel that way. When
- 12:12Speaker 1: I heard it, man, it was like it was almost slow.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It was almost spiritual when I heard it. When I'm
- 12:19Speaker 1: saying spiritual experience. It was one of them moments right
- 12:32Speaker 1: there when I heard imber is they talking about me? Mercy?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I have sending for sending folk, sending it forwards. When
- 12:47Speaker 1: it really hit me that the roof was on fire
- 12:53Speaker 1: and the request to not anybody bring water? Yeah, yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: because I was comfortable, we did it burn. Yeah, I
- 13:04Speaker 1: was stubborn. I wasn't even heaven. I wasn't even jun
- 13:11Speaker 1: at seventy four. Man, my parents don't even met. Wasn't
- 13:18Speaker 1: no way for me to get in. Yeah, was out
- 13:21Speaker 1: doing other things? Yea, hey man, same seventy four devil
- 13:29Speaker 1: was probably breaking in calls. Yeah right. Listen. Coming up
- 13:35Speaker 1: in thirty two minutes after the hour, the pastor and
- 13:39Speaker 1: the deacon are in the building for church complaints. Right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is Monday, the deacon is back, Reverend Motown is here,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and it is time for church complaints. What we we
- 13:58Speaker 1: we've been missing. We've huntulated. You want the auspicity, m
- 14:08Speaker 1: or direction. That boy still got some wisdom. We've been
- 14:15Speaker 1: hoping and praying for our deacons moncolical hand. We gotta
- 14:26Speaker 1: have been in waiting and strong autification, and that one
- 14:34Speaker 1: day he would persify I've been missing it in dimnified
- 14:43Speaker 1: and objectify our presence with his own aura. Hell. Today
- 14:53Speaker 1: we have been bnotically blessed, got him and only himself
- 15:02Speaker 1: could be as spontaneity and bless us with this be
- 15:10Speaker 1: nine huh oh, maybe the helament nine words. It's not
- 15:16Speaker 1: a good word. But that's all right, that's all but
- 15:19Speaker 1: nine would be a cancel reference. And we don't want
- 15:23Speaker 1: to use that word. But you already didn't need or
- 15:29Speaker 1: sub consciously it has slipped in. And as we let
- 15:38Speaker 1: me see how I can avoid the pitfalls of this chip.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I hope we beautifullly what therampeautically impeutically get through this dialysis?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Oh I'm not I'm not on christis ain't that around
- 16:10Speaker 1: with bless us bless us chemotherapily? Oh I had to me,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I'm missing that part. Yeah, that's why we prayed that out.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Just we prayed that away. We're not involved in the laza, gentleman,
- 16:32Speaker 1: jack alright, alright, coming from a hydro coat on perspective here,
- 16:38Speaker 1: what purpose if you come on? All right? We got
- 16:46Speaker 1: an issue here. We got a message from Hither that
- 16:50Speaker 1: Aretha Franklin is highly upset that Queen Elizabeth funeral I
- 16:56Speaker 1: did hurts and he wants ad over and he are
- 17:01Speaker 1: the stops that she wants to make her hometown Memphis,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and she wants to go to Buffalo, New York. She
- 17:08Speaker 1: wants us to roll out up to the Hollywood Sign
- 17:10Speaker 1: in Los Angeles. Then Carnegant Hall and then lastly back
- 17:15Speaker 1: to Detroit. So she wants a funeral redone pass. We're
- 17:21Speaker 1: not gonna be able to do that for queen because
- 17:26Speaker 1: I don't know if she's aware, But if she were
- 17:28Speaker 1: to show up and make an appearance at any of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the all these buildings would immediately clear out most of
- 17:36Speaker 1: Aretha's friends. Is not quite and we don't ever have
- 17:40Speaker 1: our fans come back. You know, white folks has been
- 17:43Speaker 1: seeing Elvis since she left. You've never heard one of
- 17:47Speaker 1: us say, man, I was down at the mall last
- 17:51Speaker 1: week and I saw Marvin Gay venture to say that
- 17:58Speaker 1: in time mall would be who's down? What are we doing?
- 18:02Speaker 1: So we won't be doing a redo of our Queen
- 18:06Speaker 1: of Soul funeral. I really don't have to tell her. No,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I think the Lord gonna shut that down, all right.
- 18:15Speaker 1: He can tell they have been a little thought or
- 18:21Speaker 1: care behind it, all right, nobody. Yeah, it was about death. Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and you're not hurting There ain't nobody hurting my feelings.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And I'm gonna keep right on going. Wait whatever. Sister
- 18:34Speaker 1: Deborah Sadler made a mac and cheese with studs soft
- 18:38Speaker 1: my own Saturday for the fund raise, I ain't. Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 1: the entire sanctuary needs to be clean and sanitized. It's
- 18:47Speaker 1: gonna cost fifteen hundred dollars for the cleaners, and the
- 18:49Speaker 1: congregation wants to make sure that she pays for it.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It's your cow past, it's a mac and cheese, studles soft, yeah,
- 18:58Speaker 1: which was your last time into the hospital? Your your
- 19:03Speaker 1: hospital stage and writings. We've done our funeral and return
- 19:09Speaker 1: to school and stools. I'll make sure that I tied
- 19:15Speaker 1: the next one and together for you. Let's just move on,
- 19:19Speaker 1: all right, Let's see if I can get something. Um,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you got cheese and stools to work? Sounds like a
- 19:28Speaker 1: morphine conversation. The deed, the deed to the church and
- 19:35Speaker 1: all about important paperwork and some cash. It's missing from
- 19:39Speaker 1: the church office. Now, Brother Mason, I, our bookkeeper, says, uh,
- 19:44Speaker 1: he's probably that all of our stuff is in uh
- 19:48Speaker 1: marlaw grow along with other classified He say, Trump has
- 19:56Speaker 1: our stuff and he won't anybody to ride within him
- 19:59Speaker 1: the flower to get it from from Trump. That's upthing
- 20:02Speaker 1: you fast. But I'm assuming that you were thinking of
- 20:06Speaker 1: this while writing your wheel. What we're gonna do with
- 20:12Speaker 1: things that we had litcas This boy he was in
- 20:16Speaker 1: the hospital as to get old boys. My mind is
- 20:21Speaker 1: playing tricks on me. Virtua. I was dropping be hands
- 20:29Speaker 1: on me. You was having fifth ward nightmare. One more
- 20:33Speaker 1: thing passed. R Kelly is asking to have a family feud.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Come to the press and he wants d block against
- 20:40Speaker 1: a block A right, yes you really would. Let's move
- 20:48Speaker 1: on you was all up in your bed, paying right
- 20:51Speaker 1: knees here, coming on it, Chief Harvey. Right after this,
- 21:01Speaker 1: thank you. You're listening to the stew Coming up at
- 21:06Speaker 1: the top of the hour. In entertainment news, we have
- 21:09Speaker 1: info on how you can help victims of Hurricane Ian
- 21:13Speaker 1: and viral videos show former NFL star Antonio Brown during
- 21:18Speaker 1: doing lude acts in a hotel swimming pool in Dubai,
- 21:23Speaker 1: and Trevor Noah has announced that he's leaving The Daily Show.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about all these stories. Yeah, yeah, at the
- 21:30Speaker 1: top of the hour. We love him on that show.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:36Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Jerylyn and Henderson says, I'm
- 21:41Speaker 1: a thirty three year old teacher and one of my
- 21:43Speaker 1: students is my cousin's husband's baby. It was just a
- 21:47Speaker 1: rumor until the child was registered for school this year
- 21:51Speaker 1: and ended up in my pre K class. He looks
- 21:54Speaker 1: just like his daddy. Should I tell my cousin? Oh,
- 22:00Speaker 1: come on, well, I think no. She let me ask
- 22:08Speaker 1: you this no question. Is she saying that the lady
- 22:11Speaker 1: don't know? Well, that's what it sounds like. Yeah, that
- 22:14Speaker 1: she does not know. Yeah, the cousin, her cousin doesn't
- 22:19Speaker 1: know that. This is her cousin husband's baby, the little boy.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I don't I think you should leave that alone. M huh.
- 22:32Speaker 1: The baby. The baby's at the school to get education.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You're the teacher, teachers the baby. It ain't ain't your
- 22:39Speaker 1: her husband at no, because you're gonna mess up the
- 22:42Speaker 1: little baby's education. Now, you don't want the baby ton't
- 22:45Speaker 1: know nothing. You're sitting over here playing the baby's short
- 22:48Speaker 1: because you think the baby give created a break up. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:52Speaker 1: your test alf. Don't take it out on the baby.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Come on, now, she's not gonna be that, Yeah she is.
- 22:59Speaker 1: She gonna take it out on the baby. Lead us alone.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Let that baby grades be the grades. Wow. Okay, that's
- 23:10Speaker 1: a tough one right there. Okay, moving on to Clarissa
- 23:13Speaker 1: and the Edgewater Clarissa writes, I work overnights in a hospital,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and a few years ago I had an affair with
- 23:19Speaker 1: a co worker. He was single and I was married.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Now he's married and I'm divorced, and I flirted with
- 23:25Speaker 1: him because I needed sex. He says he's happily married
- 23:29Speaker 1: and he's not a cheater. Is he just not interested
- 23:32Speaker 1: in me anymore? Or what? He's happily married and he's
- 23:35Speaker 1: not a Cheatah? What? What? What? See? When you did
- 23:42Speaker 1: it before he either met the chick of his dreams? Hell,
- 23:45Speaker 1: won't you so count of mine? Move on? Just because
- 23:52Speaker 1: you did it don't mean he gotta do it. Some
- 23:54Speaker 1: limits to this, yeah, layer, yep, Yeah, so y'all know
- 24:00Speaker 1: though they'd be doing it in the hospital. Case y'all
- 24:02Speaker 1: didn't know the hospital. They do so everything. But you
- 24:18Speaker 1: couldn't talk, though, Tommy, you couldn't talk, all right? Moving
- 24:26Speaker 1: on clo to Belinda and Gary. Belinda says, I've been
- 24:31Speaker 1: dating a man for four months and I can't visit
- 24:33Speaker 1: his home because of my allergies. He bought the home
- 24:37Speaker 1: from a lady that had cats, and he refuses to
- 24:40Speaker 1: get new carpet. I'm thinking maybe he can't afford it.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Should I offer to loan him the money? What? What? What? Yeah?
- 24:51Speaker 1: He desperate? So you got it. Four months you come
- 24:57Speaker 1: over his house because the woman had cats, right and
- 25:04Speaker 1: you allergic? Right now, he didn't find a way to
- 25:07Speaker 1: keep you out of his house. Legitimate because if I

- 27:09Speaker 1: This is from Joy in your hometown of Cleveland. Joy says,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I found out that my husband of twelve years put
- 27:17Speaker 1: a locator on my cell phone after he caught me
- 27:21Speaker 1: in a lie about where I had been. I told
- 27:24Speaker 1: him that I was at a coffee shop, but I
- 27:27Speaker 1: was at a boutique instead. He made a big deal
- 27:31Speaker 1: over nothing. And the bigger question is why he's tracking
- 27:34Speaker 1: me after twelve years of marriage? What's up? Because he
- 27:38Speaker 1: thank you cheat, because she lied period. Listen to me.
- 27:44Speaker 1: The boutique was the truth. You chose the lie and
- 27:51Speaker 1: why did you tell the lie? Because you didn't want
- 27:54Speaker 1: him to know he was spending you was spending money
- 27:57Speaker 1: at the boutique. You see what I say, by what's
- 28:02Speaker 1: your what the lie? Shouldn't lie? No, no, no, no no.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You lied for the reason you didn't want him to
- 28:10Speaker 1: know you were spending money at the bootique, so you
- 28:13Speaker 1: told him you was at a coffee shop. He went,
- 28:17Speaker 1: that's a damn lie. You had a boutique, M. So
- 28:22Speaker 1: what are you saying? She shouldn't sate You lied because
- 28:26Speaker 1: you were trying to the fact about the money, the
- 28:30Speaker 1: appreciation for know this about the lie. The lie requires
- 28:35Speaker 1: another lie, and you're not good at Yeah. I, on
- 28:40Speaker 1: the other hand, had I quadrup a lot, I pack
- 28:44Speaker 1: lit okay, So what would you have done? What would
- 28:47Speaker 1: you have done in this scenario, Steve Baby, The boutique
- 28:53Speaker 1: M is right there by the coffee share. You go,
- 28:57Speaker 1: come on more right next though, and so I will
- 29:01Speaker 1: I went over to the boutique. But how next go
- 29:05Speaker 1: to get some coffee? Oh so you were in and out?
- 29:10Speaker 1: So I did go get some coffee and you can
- 29:12Speaker 1: ask them, Oh yeah, witnesses man, you drip it, so
- 29:19Speaker 1: flip it. She can flip it, all right, thank you, Clo.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:25Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this you're listening
- 29:28Speaker 1: to morning show. Hurricane Ian is notably one of the
- 29:34Speaker 1: strongest hurricanes to ever hit the US, claiming lives along
- 29:38Speaker 1: its path of devastation and destruction. Hurricane e Ian weekend Saturday,
- 29:44Speaker 1: as it rolled into the mid Atlantic States, but not
- 29:47Speaker 1: before it washed out bridges, slung massive boats into buildings,
- 29:51Speaker 1: and took roofs off of homes, leaving millions of people
- 29:54Speaker 1: without power. And here are some of the ways if
- 29:57Speaker 1: you'd like to you can help. If you want to volunteer,
- 30:01Speaker 1: go to the Red Cross website at Redcross dot org
- 30:04Speaker 1: slash volunteer today, or you can donate at eight hundred
- 30:08Speaker 1: red Cross. That's eight hundred by the numbers, eight hundred
- 30:12Speaker 1: seven three three two seven six seven, or go to
- 30:15Speaker 1: Redcross dot org. All right, Redcross dot org. And we're
- 30:20Speaker 1: still praying for those victims of Hurricane Ian. Yeah, it
- 30:26Speaker 1: really was. It really was monster. Some areas unrecognizable. Yeah
- 30:34Speaker 1: before and after versus the after. Yeah, when they showed
- 30:39Speaker 1: it on Google dots on the different news networks. Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 1: it's just horrible, damaging wins. And then yeah, and we're
- 30:48Speaker 1: hoping the last of the hurricanes. Yeah, definitely keep them
- 30:53Speaker 1: in our prayers for sure. Um yeah, now switching gears here.
- 30:58Speaker 1: This is a crazy story right here. Antonio Brown has
- 31:04Speaker 1: exhibited more bizarre behavior, and this time he was in Dubai.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Videos of Antonio Brown at a swimming pool at a
- 31:11Speaker 1: hotel in Dubai has been circulating on social media over
- 31:15Speaker 1: the weekend. The incident reportedly happened back in May and
- 31:19Speaker 1: the videos have just been released. In the video, Ab
- 31:24Speaker 1: toots his butt out of the water in a woman's
- 31:28Speaker 1: face while other hotel guests watched him and recorded him.
- 31:33Speaker 1: In another video, Ab appears to tie a scarf that
- 31:37Speaker 1: he took from another guest around a woman's head, and
- 31:41Speaker 1: when she snatches it off, he picks her up and
- 31:43Speaker 1: throws her into the pool. He then leans on the
- 31:48Speaker 1: edge of the pool to poke his penis out of
- 31:50Speaker 1: the water and wave it in the air. Yeah, excuse me,
- 31:55Speaker 1: we didn't go to and Ab was has to leave
- 32:00Speaker 1: the hotel and hotel employees claim that they received multiple
- 32:04Speaker 1: complaints about Ab smoking marijuana in his room and violating
- 32:08Speaker 1: the country's dress code. Apparently he was walking around without
- 32:11Speaker 1: a shirt. I mean, more bizarre behavior like crazy. What's
- 32:19Speaker 1: a beautiful country. Yeah, they have some rules and culturally
- 32:23Speaker 1: you just have to respect them. But if you if
- 32:26Speaker 1: you do that, and if they want to, I'm trusting me, man. Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 1: turn you around at that immigration stest. They're they're red
- 32:33Speaker 1: flag your passport. They're not doing that. Man, They're not
- 32:36Speaker 1: gonna make you make their tourist guests feel uncomfortable because
- 32:40Speaker 1: you don't know how to act. And man, you really
- 32:44Speaker 1: not gonna go over there and disrespect women. That's not
- 32:46Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do. Come over there waiving your thing. Okay, partner,
- 32:53Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, here's wholes man. Yeah. It's
- 32:57Speaker 1: some men and some fathers over there that ain't they
- 33:02Speaker 1: not having that? Wow, that's a good thing. That's a
- 33:06Speaker 1: good thing. Back in May. It happened back in May.
- 33:09Speaker 1: That we go back in October. He can't go back. Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 1: he can't go back. Don't be over there messing it
- 33:16Speaker 1: up for us. We like Dubai. We love it over there,
- 33:19Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Trevor Noah. Trevor Noah is
- 33:23Speaker 1: leaving The Daily Show after seven years. He's been there
- 33:26Speaker 1: for seven years. He made the announcement during a taping
- 33:29Speaker 1: last week, Noah simply stated, I realized that after seven years,
- 33:33Speaker 1: my time is uh, that's all he said. Uh. Trevor
- 33:37Speaker 1: didn't say exactly when he would be leaving. Comedy Central
- 33:41Speaker 1: commented that they are grateful to Trevor for their amazing
- 33:44Speaker 1: partnership and they're excited for the next chapter of the
- 33:47Speaker 1: Daily Show. It's no secret that late night TV show
- 33:50Speaker 1: rankings have been shrinking, which caused Conan O'Brien to end
- 33:54Speaker 1: his show last year. So, um, we'll miss Trevor. Noah.
- 33:59Speaker 1: TV has changed, changing, drafted with all the streaming and yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: I mean for Timmy to be on seven years, man,
- 34:09Speaker 1: it's amazing, Yes it is, Yes it is. It's too
- 34:12Speaker 1: many ways for people to view television, and television isn't
- 34:17Speaker 1: the only source anymore. That streaming has changed the game.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Yeah you know, but yeah don't and we don't have
- 34:25Speaker 1: to watch the shows in real time now. Yeah, that's
- 34:27Speaker 1: that's what I issue for late night time. That's okay,
- 34:34Speaker 1: that's what and that's that's the reality of it and
- 34:37Speaker 1: the danger of it. Okay, dangerous. Why do you say dangerous, Well,
- 34:42Speaker 1: because it's late night, it's time. Sence, they're monologues. About
- 34:49Speaker 1: things that happened today. Okay, nobody is gonna want to
- 34:53Speaker 1: watch that next week. You see what I mean? Yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 1: the celebrity on the show promoting a movie or book
- 35:03Speaker 1: or something. A movie been out two weeks. Nobody wants
- 35:06Speaker 1: to watch that. And it's just it's harder now, m
- 35:11Speaker 1: is it? Is it the same for daytime as well?
- 35:17Speaker 1: All TV has changed because of streaming. Okay, Like, your
- 35:22Speaker 1: streaming numbers is just as important as your viewership numbers.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You know. That's why I like the New Judge Show.
- 35:30Speaker 1: It's on ABC, but we promoted heavily on Hulu. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: uh yeah. And the thing about Hulu is they get
- 35:40Speaker 1: your numbers right away. They know who clicking in. Okay,
- 35:44Speaker 1: they know who clicking in. All right, Well, we wish
- 35:49Speaker 1: Trevor Noah, Well, I love, we wish Steve. Well, we're
- 35:55Speaker 1: just trying to stay on what you do. Well. You
- 36:00Speaker 1: guys are doing well. He just said that. Coming up
- 36:03Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after Justice Katanji Brown Jackson begins her
- 36:07Speaker 1: new term today as the first black woman to serve
- 36:10Speaker 1: in the Supreme Court. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning show. Justice Katanji
- 36:19Speaker 1: Brown Jackson, the first black woman to serve on the
- 36:21Speaker 1: Supreme Court, was welcomed on Friday by President Biden, Vice
- 36:25Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris, and her colleagues at an investiture ceremony.
- 36:30Speaker 1: The proceedings were purely ceremonial, since Justice Jackson has been
- 36:34Speaker 1: a member of the courts since she was sworn in
- 36:36Speaker 1: back on June thirtieth, but the event was nonetheless stately
- 36:40Speaker 1: and steeped in history. The Supreme Court opens its new
- 36:44Speaker 1: term today, hearing arguments for the first time with new
- 36:47Speaker 1: Justice Katanji Brown Jackson. Already, the Court has said it
- 36:51Speaker 1: will decide cases on a range of major issues, including
- 36:54Speaker 1: affirmative action, voting rights, and the rights of LGBTQ people.
- 36:59Speaker 1: The justices will add more cases to their docket incoming months.
- 37:04Speaker 1: So we got to say congratulations yet again to Justice
- 37:08Speaker 1: Sanji Brown Jackson, the first black woman to serve on
- 37:12Speaker 1: the Supreme question black girl, ma, I say one of
- 37:17Speaker 1: the things that's on the ticket that they'll be voting
- 37:20Speaker 1: for voting at rights. Yeah, voting rights, affirmative action, and
- 37:25Speaker 1: the rights to do people understand what's going on here
- 37:30Speaker 1: that the Voting Rights Act has to be re voted
- 37:33Speaker 1: on I think every ten twenty years to see if
- 37:37Speaker 1: blacks will still be allowed to vote. So well that's
- 37:40Speaker 1: one of the things. They'll be voting something to that effect. Yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 1: but the Voting Rights Act is about us, Yeah, and
- 37:49Speaker 1: they have to vote to see if they will continue
- 37:51Speaker 1: that or not. Yeah. So that's all the more reason
- 37:55Speaker 1: not to take your your voting rights forted. Yeas to
- 38:06Speaker 1: vote because now you think you just vote for the president.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Now you see from this last presidential election, this last president,
- 38:13Speaker 1: you put in three Supreme Court justices, so you have
- 38:17Speaker 1: to vote in your local elections so you know who
- 38:19Speaker 1: these judges are when they get promoted. You have to
- 38:23Speaker 1: be familiar and vote all the time. That's what a
- 38:29Speaker 1: gentleman that called in on the email, the voicemail, y'all
- 38:38Speaker 1: make me sick. Y'all racist, you're sitting up in here
- 38:40Speaker 1: talking about black Republicans. That's why I have a problem
- 38:43Speaker 1: because if you want to be a black Republican, know
- 38:46Speaker 1: what the Republicans stand for, what they're doing. So now,
- 38:50Speaker 1: if you want to be a black Republican, that's fine,
- 38:52Speaker 1: but no, the policy and their facts right right, and
- 38:56Speaker 1: black people we cannot afford to vote those of who
- 39:01Speaker 1: owe us, who are well off. We cannot vote for
- 39:05Speaker 1: just us because it it it doesn't include the masses. Right.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I wish that a miracle was privy to what well
- 39:16Speaker 1: off people really think and feel. M Oh, it's it's
- 39:21Speaker 1: it's it's it's shocking, man, But it's consistent. Well, yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 1: it hasn't changed much in all these years. All right,
- 39:30Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears here because coming up. Uh Roscoe,
- 39:34Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen is in the building. Come on, yeah
- 39:37Speaker 1: right here, come on. We'll hear from him right after this.

- 39:47Speaker 1: is here, Roscoe, friend of the morning show. Roscoe is here.

- 42:29Speaker 1: them songs? You remember Kendrick Lamar put that crown on
- 42:33Speaker 1: his head. Where you think he got that from? Oh,
- 42:39Speaker 1: he's got that idea from Jesus, Oh man, a little
- 42:44Speaker 1: crown on the head. I was reading the Bible to
- 42:46Speaker 1: him one day and he said, you were reading you Rosco,
- 42:52Speaker 1: were reading the Bible to Kendrick Lamar, O people all
- 42:58Speaker 1: count I do. I'm will you. You gotta knew I
- 43:00Speaker 1: knew the Lord right on his song? Without the Lord
- 43:04Speaker 1: a man? Can you be there? Talented? Much guilt in
- 43:10Speaker 1: one body if it wasn't put down by the Good Lord.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So are you expecting to hear from Rihanna do something

- 47:12Speaker 1: that's you know, but what you're asking me about my kids? Fun? Man? Okay, Bro,
- 47:17Speaker 1: it's I mean, I don't even know how to break
- 47:19Speaker 1: this on you, but I'm just gonna just put it
- 47:21Speaker 1: out there, Okay, just and just hit me out, man,
- 47:23Speaker 1: just hit me out. Um. It's been brought to my
- 47:26Speaker 1: attention that there is a strong possibility that one of
- 47:31Speaker 1: the twins is mine. Oh are you crazy them? Man,
- 47:36Speaker 1: for you say you is again? Man, just can man? Man, look, man,
- 47:39Speaker 1: don't call my house with this. Man, Hi, twin gonna
- 47:42Speaker 1: be yours. Man, They's my twins. Man. Hey, man, I
- 47:46Speaker 1: found out and I thought I thought the same thing
- 47:48Speaker 1: you thought, Tony. I was like, okay, man, that doesn't
- 47:50Speaker 1: even biologically possible. Man's what I thought. But I found
- 47:53Speaker 1: out that two seeds could actually join together create twins,
- 47:58Speaker 1: and each one of them could have a different dad.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'm finding this out for the first for firsthand myself.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Oh man, you ain't fun man. Look man, whatever, man,
- 48:07Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Dog Man, the kids is mine. Man, Hey,
- 48:12Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing to do with this. Dog, You
- 48:14Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with this. Man. Hey, listen, man,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is get to the bottom of something.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Let me let me, let me, let me tell me,
- 48:20Speaker 1: tell me out and listen to them. Let me ask
- 48:22Speaker 1: you to your set of twins. Are they are they?
- 48:25Speaker 1: I mean? Are they the same shade of color? Are
- 48:27Speaker 1: they different shades? I mean I'm just asking. I'm never saying. Look, dog,
- 48:31Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Man. I want you to
- 48:33Speaker 1: get this through your head right now. Man, whatever you
- 48:36Speaker 1: got that's on y'all. Man, This ain't got nothing to
- 48:39Speaker 1: do with my twins. Man, ain't got nothing to do
- 48:41Speaker 1: with my twins. Man, one of them dog skin? What
- 48:44Speaker 1: I'm light skinned? Right down right there? Man? What right there? What? Okay? Tony?
- 48:49Speaker 1: All right? Let me ask you what shade of color
- 48:51Speaker 1: you are? You? Dogs? Heal a light skinned man? I'm
- 48:53Speaker 1: dark skinned. Man. I'm light skinned. Man. The light skin
- 48:57Speaker 1: twin must be mine? You know what, Man, I'm not
- 49:00Speaker 1: even continue this conversation no more. I'm gonna just tell
- 49:03Speaker 1: you something. Dog. You don't know where you whip because
- 49:06Speaker 1: I will you up. You understand that, dog? Man, Listen,
- 49:10Speaker 1: I just find out that this this is a fluke.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Accept that that's possible to happen. You understand that you
- 49:16Speaker 1: talking about my kids? Man, Man, I understand the passion
- 49:20Speaker 1: that you have for your children. Man, you wanted the
- 49:23Speaker 1: kids call don't eat house talking about my kids and
- 49:27Speaker 1: yowans man? One of the twins is man, Man, they
- 49:30Speaker 1: ain't no man, Look man, look dog, I'll tell you what. Man.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you make it. Dog. You know what,
- 49:36Speaker 1: because don't call he or no mo man whatever you
- 49:39Speaker 1: in for doing, That's what you and that crazy it's
- 49:42Speaker 1: doing so she with you, old crazy stupid. You're stupid

- 50:25Speaker 1: You stupid. That's what you is. Man. You are ignorant

- 50:33Speaker 1: your kids, Man, were retarded. That that can't be happening. Man.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I understand the man, but it's a fluke accident and
- 50:39Speaker 1: now you're trying to deprive me or man I'm having
- 50:41Speaker 1: a relationship with my child. Man. I've been raising these
- 50:44Speaker 1: kids for five years, by my damn self. Man, I
- 50:47Speaker 1: get him up, I take him to ballet, man, I
- 50:49Speaker 1: take him to literally you understand me, man, No, my man, Tony,
- 50:53Speaker 1: I understand. And dog, it was heartbreaking the meat too, Tony.

- 51:26Speaker 1: to me many. Let me say one more thing to you, man, man, Okay, Man,
- 51:30Speaker 1: hold on now baby and now baby daddy. All right, yeah,
- 51:34Speaker 1: y'all gonna play. I'll be out there in a minute. Man.
- 51:37Speaker 1: See dog hop Man, you didn't gotta everybody around here
- 51:41Speaker 1: all man, curse like it's around my kids. Man. Okay, sure,
- 51:44Speaker 1: I say one more thing to your man, A man,
- 51:46Speaker 1: say what the you want to see and don't call
- 51:49Speaker 1: her no more. Man, Tony, this is nephew Tommy from
- 51:52Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey More on the show. You just got
- 51:55Speaker 1: pranked by your homeboy. Uh man. And you know what, Tommy, Man, Man,
- 52:02Speaker 1: that's the man. You know what, dog Man, you was
- 52:07Speaker 1: really about to get your man. Man, you can't be
- 52:10Speaker 1: putting nobody about their kids how they do? Man? Oh Man, Okay, okay,
- 52:16Speaker 1: your man, all right, all right, I tell you what, man,
- 52:20Speaker 1: don't don't don't even tell you did it, man, because
- 52:22Speaker 1: see we're meeting. We're meeting later tonight. I got something

- 52:30Speaker 1: What was that? Watch the ten o'clock news tonight. Man,
- 52:33Speaker 1: you're gonna wat mockets on there, man, watch dog. I
- 52:39Speaker 1: can't believe it, man, oh Man, all right, hey man,
- 52:44Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, man, what is the baddest I'm
- 52:47Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land, oh Man,
- 52:51Speaker 1: The Steve Harvard Morning Show. Man. I listened every morning. Man.
- 52:55Speaker 1: I just can't believe y'all got me. Man. I don't
- 53:00Speaker 1: think I really don't think nobody out there is as
- 53:02Speaker 1: ignorant stupid as I am one of your queens. Hey, look,
- 53:06Speaker 1: you're right about that. I'm in total agreement with you
- 53:10Speaker 1: as you shoot as you should. No one is as
- 53:13Speaker 1: stupid as you. No one and stupid is getting ready
- 53:18Speaker 1: to grab that microphone wants to again. You're going back out,
- 53:23Speaker 1: back out, no Vember. I'm grabbing the mic. No Vember,
- 53:28Speaker 1: I am grabbing the microphone. Stand by, I let you

- 54:23Speaker 1: Ye here it is strawberry letter. Okay, thank you, sexy nephew.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Subject He compliments everyone but me. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:36Speaker 1: fifty eight and on my second marriage to a man
- 54:39Speaker 1: that I only knew seven months before we got married.
- 54:42Speaker 1: He swept me off my feet after I met him
- 54:45Speaker 1: at church. We actually met online, but we agreed to
- 54:48Speaker 1: have our first to face to face encounter at church.
- 54:52Speaker 1: We spent that entire first day together and into the night.
- 54:56Speaker 1: He said he was an expert on beautiful souls and
- 54:59Speaker 1: mine was the rightist he's seen in years. Now that
- 55:02Speaker 1: I look back at our first date, he did not
- 55:05Speaker 1: say I was beautiful or even comment on my outfit.
- 55:08Speaker 1: We had a lot of laughs, and although we didn't
- 55:11Speaker 1: have a lot in common, we built a sweet relationship.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I think back now to when we first had sex.
- 55:18Speaker 1: He didn't compliment me then or have much to say
- 55:21Speaker 1: about it. I noticed that he complimented other women a lot.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Right before our wedding, when he met two of my girlfriends,
- 55:29Speaker 1: he said, my friends are beautiful and he cannot believe
- 55:32Speaker 1: the cutest one is still single. I was jealous, but
- 55:35Speaker 1: I did not mention it to him. Instead, I kept
- 55:38Speaker 1: an eye on my girlfriend like she was the problem.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Now I know he's the problem. He has a bad
- 55:44Speaker 1: habit of pointing out women at church or on TV
- 55:48Speaker 1: that he thinks are beautiful. I asked him if I'm
- 55:52Speaker 1: beautiful to him, and he said it's not becoming to
- 55:55Speaker 1: seek out compliments. They have to come naturally. He must
- 55:58Speaker 1: think I'm very unactive for him to answer like that.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Just yesterday he told a cashier that her nails were cute,
- 56:05Speaker 1: and I felt some kind of way because he told
- 56:07Speaker 1: me he is not a fan of long nails. It
- 56:10Speaker 1: is hurtful to me that he never has anything nice
- 56:14Speaker 1: to say about me. How do I get him to
- 56:16Speaker 1: notice me? Well, it's not that he doesn't notice you.
- 56:20Speaker 1: He notices you, all right. I do think it's very
- 56:24Speaker 1: odd when a man doesn't compliment his wife, when he
- 56:27Speaker 1: never says anything. According to this letter, he doesn't. I
- 56:31Speaker 1: think that's kind of mean, you know, and dumb. It's
- 56:35Speaker 1: like he knows you look good, but he's too something
- 56:38Speaker 1: I don't know. Fill in the blank. To do it.
- 56:41Speaker 1: It will cost him nothing to say it, but he
- 56:44Speaker 1: just refuses to do it. And it's definitely in him,
- 56:48Speaker 1: because you know, he knows he notices other women, so
- 56:53Speaker 1: it's in him. He knows what he's doing. I wonder
- 56:58Speaker 1: what he does behind your back when he's around other women,
- 57:01Speaker 1: because he's disrespectful in your face, and it makes you
- 57:04Speaker 1: feel some kind of way. That's why I say it's
- 57:06Speaker 1: mean him not complimenting you. He knows exactly what he's doing.
- 57:09Speaker 1: It's perfectly normal from a woman to want to hear
- 57:12Speaker 1: something nice about herself from her own husband. It won't
- 57:15Speaker 1: kill him to say, baby, you look good in that dress,
- 57:17Speaker 1: or I like your hair, etc. It'll work out well
- 57:21Speaker 1: for him later. I think he's an idiot. I think
- 57:24Speaker 1: he has some control issues as far as you're concerned,
- 57:27Speaker 1: because he's aware of what you want and absolutely refuses
- 57:31Speaker 1: to give it to you. So I say, just stop
- 57:33Speaker 1: expecting compliments from him. It's more important how you feel
- 57:37Speaker 1: about yourself anyway. How do you feel about yourself? Do
- 57:40Speaker 1: you think you're beautiful? I say, get dressed up, go
- 57:43Speaker 1: out with your girls, have some fun. Quit depending on
- 57:46Speaker 1: him to validate you. Get your confidence up on your own,
- 57:50Speaker 1: okay without him, you know, stop looking for him to
- 57:54Speaker 1: make you happy or make you feel good. He's not
- 57:57Speaker 1: going to do it that way. He can keep you
- 57:59Speaker 1: just where he want you. What did you like about him? Anyway?
- 58:02Speaker 1: I mean really, what did you like about him? Steve like? Yeah?
- 58:08Speaker 1: But why did she marry him? Yeah? What did you
- 58:11Speaker 1: like about him? Why y'all married? How you didn't married
- 58:16Speaker 1: a man? That? What? How? I don't even understand that.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Let me just walk you through this. The subject is
- 58:27Speaker 1: he compliments everybody but me. I'm fifty eight on my
- 58:31Speaker 1: second marriage to a man I only knew seven months
- 58:33Speaker 1: before we got married, So that means you didn't know him.
- 58:38Speaker 1: He swept me off my feet after I met him
- 58:41Speaker 1: at church. Everybody meet at churches. Uh, sweet, sweet people
- 58:46Speaker 1: all me feet. But then here'll go to correction where
- 58:50Speaker 1: we actually met online, but we agreed to share our
- 58:55Speaker 1: first date face the first encounter at church. We the
- 59:00Speaker 1: entire first day together and into the night. He said
- 59:04Speaker 1: he was an expert on beautiful souls, and mine was
- 59:08Speaker 1: the brightest he'd seen in years. Who say that? He him?
- 59:15Speaker 1: Who without mentioning? How fine you are? Without mentioning none
- 59:23Speaker 1: of that. He went straight past your looks to you
- 59:28Speaker 1: one of the most beautiful souls, and mind is the
- 59:31Speaker 1: brightest he'd seen in years. Oh, that was breath taken
- 59:35Speaker 1: to you. You thought that was the line of lines,
- 59:37Speaker 1: didn't you? Now that I look back at our first date,
- 59:41Speaker 1: he didn't say I was beautiful or even comment on
- 59:44Speaker 1: my outfit. Well, let's talk about that. Why I would
- 59:48Speaker 1: a man not tell you you beautiful? Well, I can
- 59:51Speaker 1: think of one reason. And then he didn't even comment
- 59:56Speaker 1: on my outfit. Now let's talk about that. What did
- 59:59Speaker 1: you have on? Are you then wrote the damn church
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: dress up in here? Because y'all first date was after church.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: He didn't comment on your outfit? What church outfit did
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: you have on? You? Fifty eight? Are you on the
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: missionary board? Are you on the usher board? See what
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: outfit did you have on? Then? Let me throw this
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: one out real quick. Now I can't. I'll be back.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: See what's happening. Hang on, We'll have part two of
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: hour Today's Strawberry letter subject he compliments everyone but me.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is he compliments everyone but me.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: The question in this letter is why are y'all married?
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I haven't heard one redeeming thing that you should even
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: be Why did you marry him? Why are you listen
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: to me? Fifty eight? Second? Man, you only you married
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a man you only knew seven months. That means you
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: got married to a man you didn't really know. He
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: swept me off our feet after I met him at church.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: That's a lie because you said, well, we actually met online,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: but we agreed to have our first face to face
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: at church. We spent the entire first day together, and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: then too the night he said I was an He
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: was an expert on beautiful souls, and mine was the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: brightest he'd seen in years. I don't know who say
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: that without doing some basic compliments first. But obviously he
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: liked poetry and you do too, So you fail for
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: now that I look back at our first date, he
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: did not say I was beautiful or even comment on
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: my outfit. Well, why would a man not say you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: beautiful when he first sees it? I can think of
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: one main reason. Let's count there you go. Maybe he
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: didn't say you beautiful cause he didn't see that, but
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: he saw your beautiful souls on nah, and he's an expert.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Then you said, he didn't say I was beautiful or
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: even comment on my outfit. Oh, here we go. What
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: did you wear to church to meet him? Which one
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: of them moomo ass dresses did you have on? What
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: unflattering praise the ass church outfit did you have on
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: on your first date at church? No wonder, he said
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you was a beautiful soul. He couldn't see nothing else.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: We've had a lot of laughs, and although we don't
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: have a lot in common, we built a sweet relationship.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: He go the next line, I think back now to
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: when we first had sex. He didn't compliment me then
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: or have much to say about it. Well, we didn't
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: went over this with your outfit. I asked you in
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the outfit, what did you have on? Nah? He didn't
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: compliment you or mentioning your sex. What did you do?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: What was you in that doing that didn't get a girl?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: That beautiful soul showed showed up, girl. I didn't know
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: under that church outfit what you was working with? You
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: didn't hit none of that, No, because you was up
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: there and it wasn't worth mentioning it. I noticed that
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: he compliments other woman a lot, like right before I wedding,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: when we met here we go, now two of my girlfriends.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: He met two of my girlfriends. He said, my friends
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: are beautiful and he cannot believe the cutest one to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: see single. Did you hear that? He said your girlfriends
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: are beautiful? He never called you that because you know
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: what the statistics is, now, one out of every three
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: people is ugly. If two of your girlfriends is beauty,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: went wait, went way way with one out of what
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: one out of every three people is ugly? Tom, that's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: a fact. See, Like, if you look at this show, Like,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: if you look at this show, okay, yeah, it's got
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: one out of see Monica, Shirley me, one out of
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: three is ugly. Me, you junior, you can pick any
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: one of them? Spot one. See and then well we
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: know it ain't calling. So where we asked, we're back
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to the two ugly as dude, you see what I'm saying?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: And now and now he said my friends are beautiful
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: and he can't believe the cutest one is still single.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: But guess what, you getting married? The cutest one is
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: still single. But the reason you are right with him
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: is because you're the best he can get, because ain't

- 1:05:45Speaker 1: he thinks I'm beautiful to him, and he said, it's
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: not becoming to seek out compliments. This is what he
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: meant to say. I asked him if I'm beautiful to him,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: and he said, it's not becoming to seek out complimentary
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: compliments when you're not beautiful. They have to come naturally,

- 1:09:48Speaker 1: top of the hour. Is it necessary for your partner
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: to know every detail of your past? And no, would
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: be a hell no, hell no. You're listening to show,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: all right, Steve. This is from Ta at Steve HARVEYFM
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: dot com. And I'm not sure if Tay is a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: man or a woman, but Ta wrote, I'm divorced and
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: my new partner keeps asking me specific details about my
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: ex and my marriage. So my question is is it
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: necessary to know everything about your partner's previous relationship? Should
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I be open and honest about everything? Boy? Tay, we
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: don't know if it's a boy or girl. O'kay? Who
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: are you? Honestly? Everybody always the best policy? True? Yeah,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the only thing you should be saying about your ex
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: it was a mistake, it was a bad decision, it
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: was a bad relationship. I found something that's the direct opposite,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: and I'm so happy now that's it. Okay, go talking
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: about your path. You need to know how to lie.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You gotta get the line. Listen to me. I cannot
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: mention ninety eight percent of the only thing I can do,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: the only thing I can tell a woman, honestly, it's
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: what I did from age four to about nine, about
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: to about seventeen. After that I was in college, and
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I can't repeat nothing after that, nothing, So just super
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I give you from foe to seventeen your honesty. Wow,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: after I went to college, I cannot divulge this part
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: of my life. Yeah. So, But but her partner or
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: his partner keeps asking them specific details and no problem
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: about their Okay, And man asked me a question. Let
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: me show you how to hand it. You asking a man? Yeah, okay,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: so how many? How many times have you been married? Oh? Twice? Twice?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: And what why'd you break up? Uh? You know it
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: was my fault. It was my fault. The person in
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: the second was that's horrible decision on my part. And
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: how many how many women really have you slept with?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: You know what? I don't even that that that that
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: thing like that don't even cross my mind because I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: don't even count my youth and the things, the mistakes
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I've made in my life. Man, I've learned so many
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: dog boy, well about my past. Speaking of counting, can
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you count them on let's say, one hand or two hands? Well,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I can't count them on one hand, but I don't
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I don't need a whole lot of fingers. Well you
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: need more than ten what you're saying two hands? You
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: need more than Yeah? Well I'm not gonna need you know, huh, honestly,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: honestly if we weren't knowing, Yeah, I want you to
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: be honest. Yeah, I'm just trying to get to know you. Probably, man,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Like I could probably count them on two hands. So
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: you've been with like at least ten women minimum maximum,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I'll say minimum, it's maximum, you know, just japan on
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: how you want to look at it? Minimum maximum, you know,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: So how long like in a relation? How long does
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: your relationships? Do your relationships normally last? If you've been
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: with them? Oh that dpin you know, if it's a
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: one night again, that's what they that's where they got
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: the turn from what one night? One night stands? How
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: many one night stands? Just one night? And you've been
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: with ten women? So the other women were in a relationship,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: you were in a relationship with them of the nine Yeah,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: why are Yeah? Now you can ask me all you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: want to win? You can turn it around two feet told,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: we can you there by the fingers on this damn show.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I could put a digit on every thing on this
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: damn show in real light. But what we we hating
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: to do that? But do you think? All right? All right?
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: So no honesty is what you're telling Take keep it down,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: keep it down, all right? Coming up in twenty minutes
