Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Dems Ratcheting Up the Rhetoric, an Opportunity to clean out Bureaucrats & Liberals Demonize their Opponents Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Ted Kruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:02Speaker 1: you on the Weekend Review. We've got three big stories
- 0:05Speaker 1: for you that you may have missed this week. First
- 0:07Speaker 1: up rhetoric from the Democrats. Well, they're not cooling it
- 0:10Speaker 1: off at all. In fact, they're ratcheting it up, increasing
- 0:14Speaker 1: the violence. We'll explain exactly what they're doing and what
- 0:17Speaker 1: they're saying in just a moment. Also, how many woke
- 0:20Speaker 1: bureaucrats can we get rid of that are entrenched in
- 0:24Speaker 1: our government because of the government shut down. The numbers
- 0:28Speaker 1: they look good if you're ready to get rid of waste,
- 0:30Speaker 1: fraud and abuse. We'll explain that. And Finally, Democrats are
- 0:34Speaker 1: funneling money into the protest you're witnessing, and now we're
- 0:39Speaker 1: getting to see exactly who they are. It's the Weekend
- 0:42Speaker 1: Review and it starts right now. You know, you talk
- 0:45Speaker 1: about the extremism of the Democratic Party, you're witnessing it
- 0:49Speaker 1: now on this issue on Capitol Hill. But we're also
- 0:52Speaker 1: witnessing it with their rhetoric that has not been toned
- 0:54Speaker 1: down even since the assassination of Charlie Kirk and Democrat
- 1:00Speaker 1: attack like they're being moderates that they're not being radic
- 1:02Speaker 1: or extreme. Well, we've got the tapes now to prove
- 1:05Speaker 1: that's just absurd.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Now, that's exactly right. It is no matter how much
- 1:11Speaker 2: violence we see, the Democrats keep leaning in on their
- 1:15Speaker 2: extreme rhetoric. Just this weekend, Gavin Newsom tweeted out in
- 1:19Speaker 2: all caps, Stephen Miller is a fascist. That's the entirety
- 1:24Speaker 2: of the tweet. It's in all caps. Steven Miller is
- 1:27Speaker 2: the Deputy White House Chief of Staff. And it is,
- 1:31Speaker 2: by the way, as of the time that we are
- 1:34Speaker 2: recording this, it has twenty seven million views. So people
- 1:37Speaker 2: are seeing Gavin Newsom saying Steven Miller's a fascist. And
- 1:40Speaker 2: just to remind you, the bullet casings from the rounds
- 1:45Speaker 2: that were fired and murdered Charlie Kirk, among the things
- 1:48Speaker 2: etched on the bullet casings were, hey, fascist, catch Gavin
- 1:54Speaker 2: Newsom knows that his staff knows that, and labeling Republicans
- 1:59Speaker 2: they disagree with his fascist is tragically. It is inviting
- 2:04Speaker 2: more and more violence. And I wish I could tell
- 2:07Speaker 2: you that Gavin Newsom was an outliner. He's not. Democrats
- 2:11Speaker 2: across the board are doing this. I want you to
- 2:15Speaker 2: listen to Hakim Jeffries on CNN and listen to just
- 2:19Speaker 2: how he's ratcheting the rhetoric up and up and up.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Give a listen when he was greeted formerly by former
- 2:27Speaker 3: President Joe Biden, and then of course at the Capitol
- 2:30Speaker 3: during the inauguration was, by the way, it was like
- 2:32Speaker 3: a super villain convention that the American people had the
- 2:35Speaker 3: witness and it's been a national nightmare ever since.
- 2:38Speaker 1: One question, right, super villain convention. So Charlie Kirk's assassinated
- 2:44Speaker 1: Democrats say they need to down, you turn down the rhetoric.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And then we're what fourteen days later, and he's saying
- 2:51Speaker 1: that this was a super villain convention.
- 2:53Speaker 2: That's not. That was Friday night, by the way, where
- 2:57Speaker 2: he says that the inauguration is supervillaant villain convention. Tim Waltz,
- 3:01Speaker 2: governor of Minnesota, obviously was Kamala Harris's vice presidential nominee,
- 3:06Speaker 2: has described Ice as quote the modern day Gestapo. JB.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Britt Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, claimed the country is
- 3:15Speaker 2: becoming quote Nazi Germany because Ice is quote grabbing people
- 3:19Speaker 2: off the street and disappearing them. Jasmine Crockett, who manages
- 3:25Speaker 2: to never find, never find a level two idiotic, two inflammatory,
- 3:32Speaker 2: two over the top that she's willing to go. She
- 3:37Speaker 2: compared Ice to quote slave patrols, and look, this is
- 3:43Speaker 2: so extreme. You know, there was something remarkable that happened
- 3:46Speaker 2: in the last couple of days. I don't know if
- 3:48Speaker 2: you saw this Ice Cube the rapper.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, his bus was attacked.
- 3:55Speaker 2: His bus was in Portland, Oregon, and it was firebombed
- 4:00Speaker 2: because these idiots saw the word Ice and thought that
- 4:03Speaker 2: Ice Cube was ICE, the Immigration Enforcement Agency. But like
- 4:09Speaker 2: these antifa leftist knuckleheads, you know, by the way, like
- 4:15Speaker 2: like Ice Tea and Ice ice baby. Better, like you know,
- 4:19Speaker 2: you cover up their name tags because the folks that
- 4:22Speaker 2: are angry are not terribly bright. But it is a
- 4:26Speaker 2: consequence of this demonizing of treating them. Look, it's fine
- 4:32Speaker 2: for one side or the other to say I disagree
- 4:35Speaker 2: with my opponents. They're wrong, their policy positions are harmful
- 4:39Speaker 2: either they're a mistake. That that's the normal give and
- 4:42Speaker 2: take a political discourse. And there's something fundamentally different when
- 4:48Speaker 2: you scream fascist, nazi, gestapo and you direct it not
- 4:53Speaker 2: only your political opponents who keep being the victims of violence,
- 4:56Speaker 2: but you direct it to law enforcement into ice. You know,
- 4:59Speaker 2: I was just in Dallas at the ice facility where
- 5:03Speaker 2: another deranged shooter unloaded on an ice facility. And and and
- 5:09Speaker 2: it seems no matter how bad it gets, the Democrats
- 5:13Speaker 2: keep it up. We put together a montage. I want
- 5:15Speaker 2: you to listen. I'm gonna apologize to this, apologize for this.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna subject you to several minutes of of Democrats
- 5:22Speaker 2: gone wild, just to show just how elevated their rhetoric is,
- 5:29Speaker 2: and and and and how harmful it is. So so
- 5:31Speaker 2: give a listen to this montage.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Donald Trump's modern dagas Scapo. Escapo is scooping folks up
- 5:39Speaker 4: off the streets. They're in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being
- 5:42Speaker 4: shipped off to foreign torture dungeons. No chance to mount
- 5:45Speaker 4: a defense, not even a chance to kiss the love
- 5:47Speaker 4: one and goodbye, just grabbed up by mass agents, shoved
- 5:51Speaker 4: into those vans and disappeared.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Will you compare the old films of the Gestapo grabbing
- 5:57Speaker 5: grabbing people off the streets of Poland, and you compare
- 6:00Speaker 5: them to those nondescript thugs who grabbed that that student,
- 6:07Speaker 5: that graduate student.
- 6:08Speaker 6: It does look like.
- 6:09Speaker 5: A Gestapo operation.
- 6:11Speaker 7: You know, my.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Dad served in Second World War. He fought the Nazis,
- 6:16Speaker 5: and I think he's looking down right now when he's
- 6:18Speaker 5: happy that I'm fighting today's Nazis.
- 6:21Speaker 8: Because if we just roll this clock on the wall
- 6:23Speaker 8: back seventy five years, we'd be looking at a time
- 6:27Speaker 8: and Nazi Germany where people ran around with signs like
- 6:32Speaker 8: this new ICE sign that says report all foreign invaders
- 6:36Speaker 8: to ICE, with Uncle Sam there holding up the sign.
- 6:40Speaker 8: This could have been a Gestapo member seventy five years ago,
- 6:44Speaker 8: report all Jews.
- 6:45Speaker 9: As somebody who understands history.
- 6:48Speaker 10: When I see ICE, I see slave patrols.
- 6:50Speaker 4: The dangers that we saw in in you know, Nazi
- 6:54Speaker 4: Germany are the dangers that we need to react to now.
- 6:58Speaker 4: And another thirty billion dollars to hire and train ICE
- 7:02Speaker 4: agents who have functionally become a secret federal police force
- 7:06Speaker 4: with expanding domain.
- 7:08Speaker 7: An authoritarian government in Washington, DC is dispatching massed agents
- 7:14Speaker 7: to abduct immigrants from our streets.
- 7:16Speaker 11: To be coming out of our country. I mean, I
- 7:20Speaker 11: grew up in a dictatorship and I don't even remember
- 7:25Speaker 11: ever witnessing anything like that. To have a democracy, a
- 7:29Speaker 11: peakan of hope for the world to now be turned
- 7:34Speaker 11: into one of the you know, one of the worst countries,
- 7:39Speaker 11: where the military are in our streets without any regard
- 7:44Speaker 11: for people's constitutional rights, while our president is spending millions
- 7:49Speaker 11: of dollars prompting himself up like a failed dictator.
- 7:54Speaker 12: Every single ICE agent who's engaged in this aggressive overreach
- 7:59Speaker 12: and are trying to hide their identities from the American
- 8:02Speaker 12: people will be unsuccessful in doing that. This is America.
- 8:07Speaker 12: It's not the Soviet Union, but not behind the Iron curtain.
- 8:10Speaker 12: This is not the nineteen thirties, and every single one
- 8:12Speaker 12: of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how
- 8:15Speaker 12: long it takes, will of course be identified.
- 8:17Speaker 13: This is not Germany, that's the ass and.
- 8:21Speaker 10: They got Stoppoh, this is the United States of America.
- 8:25Speaker 11: Unmasked yourself just been overwhelming.
- 8:28Speaker 9: I mean just watching everything online now the ICE, you know,
- 8:32Speaker 9: thugs and people do not want to continue to watch
- 8:38Speaker 9: people fund this kind of extraction. Violence. Yeah, it's violence.
- 8:44Speaker 6: The other things and all the other cuts pays for
- 8:48Speaker 6: a massive increase in the masked secret police that are
- 8:54Speaker 6: terrorizing our communities. ICE.
- 8:57Speaker 14: This is despicable. It's un American I called ICE the
- 9:01Speaker 14: modern day Gestapo a few months ago, and some people
- 9:04Speaker 14: thought that was going too far. I thought that was
- 9:06Speaker 14: too extreme. Got angry at me for saying that. Well,
- 9:10Speaker 14: come on, like, that's literally what's going on.
- 9:12Speaker 7: You have called to abolish Ice.
- 9:15Speaker 9: How do we achieve a future that's post Ice?
- 9:21Speaker 15: How do we achieve a future free of terrorism by
- 9:25Speaker 15: abolishing Ice?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Ice is a terrorist organization.
- 9:28Speaker 16: It needs to be defunded, it needs to be abolished.
- 9:31Speaker 17: We're seeing aggressive Gestapo type tactics in people being approached
- 9:38Speaker 17: on the street, in their home, at the clinic, at church,
- 9:42Speaker 17: at all kinds of locations. That's why this morning on
- 9:46Speaker 17: the House of the Floor, I warned the American people
- 9:50Speaker 17: that this is looking like the American Gestapo in the making.
- 9:55Speaker 7: I think we need to be really active at like
- 9:57Speaker 7: challenging what ICE is doing on every front we can,
- 10:00Speaker 7: and obviously being ready in the case of Trump trying
- 10:04Speaker 7: to call in the National Guard or whatever futilized national Guard.
- 10:08Speaker 18: I can't see how anybody can say they're a Christian
- 10:10Speaker 18: and treat someone from another land in their own land
- 10:13Speaker 18: this way. It's mean, is what it is. It's mean spirited.
- 10:18Speaker 18: A lot of these folks are being picked up by
- 10:21Speaker 18: you know, hooded thugs in the street in the most
- 10:23Speaker 18: Unamerican ways.
- 10:25Speaker 19: ICE agents without visible ideas, without any official markings on them,
- 10:31Speaker 19: with masks as they're acting more like vigilantes than of
- 10:38Speaker 19: agents of our governments.
- 10:40Speaker 16: Because we don't live in a country, an authoritarian country
- 10:44Speaker 16: where we have secret police who are masked, who are intimidating,
- 10:50Speaker 16: who are scaring people. That's the stuff of authoritarian states.
- 10:55Speaker 16: That is not the stuff of the That's not how
- 10:57Speaker 16: the United States operate.
- 10:59Speaker 10: He sent out out ICE and border patrol to intimidate
- 11:03Speaker 10: folks from walking in to our event, end up arresting
- 11:07Speaker 10: this poor soul that was just trying to sell strawberries
- 11:10Speaker 10: as collateral damage to intimidate us. That is a previous
- 11:13Speaker 10: stephen of things to come in voting bruce and polling
- 11:16Speaker 10: places across this country. And the ICE issue is alarming
- 11:20Speaker 10: beyond words. It is the private, largest private domestic army
- 11:25Speaker 10: of its type police force anywhere in the world. He'll
- 11:28Speaker 10: have thirty thousand people that increasingly appear to be swearing
- 11:32Speaker 10: an oath of babus to him, not the constitution of
- 11:35Speaker 10: the United States. Again, wake up to what's going on
- 11:39Speaker 10: in this country. That's happening in the United States of America.
- 11:42Speaker 10: Masked men jumping out of unmarked cars, people disappearing, no
- 11:46Speaker 10: due process, no oversight, zero accountability happening in the United
- 11:51Speaker 10: States of America Today, People ask, well, is authoritarianism? You're
- 11:54Speaker 10: being hyperbolic. We're being hyperbolic if you're a black and
- 11:57Speaker 10: brown community. It's here in this.
- 12:00Speaker 13: I have heard enough in the last couple of weeks
- 12:04Speaker 13: about ICE agents and wearing masks that I think when
- 12:10Speaker 13: we win the majority in the House, you're going to
- 12:13Speaker 13: see enough Democrats make it a priority for ICE enforcement
- 12:18Speaker 13: that they are no longer faceless. It looks too much
- 12:22Speaker 13: like some eighteen hundred's bank robber or you know, some
- 12:26Speaker 13: KGB officer in Russia, you know, pulling protesters off the streets.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Senator, you listening to that, And it's very clear that
- 12:35Speaker 1: Democrats get talking points and they stick with them. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: when they do this, they're doing it on purpose to
- 12:41Speaker 1: undermine the rule of law. They're to undermine law enforcement.
- 12:44Speaker 1: We've seen them do is so the Supreme Court as well.
- 12:47Speaker 1: There's quite a few, quite a few examples recently of
- 12:51Speaker 1: them really just using their words to turn people to
- 12:54Speaker 1: hate someone, to hate law enforcement, to hate police, to
- 12:58Speaker 1: hate the Supreme Court, to hate law and order. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: yet they say they want to ratchet down, but they're not.
- 13:04Speaker 1: They're doing the complete opposite of that.
- 13:06Speaker 2: So and ben, let me ask is so one of
- 13:08Speaker 2: the key Democrat talking points that they keep repeating is
- 13:11Speaker 2: they say that ICE are fascist or Nazis or griestappo
- 13:15Speaker 2: because they're wearing masks. Let me ask you, why is
- 13:17Speaker 2: ICE wearing masks? So they're not docks.
- 13:21Speaker 1: That's what it boils down to, so that they're not
- 13:23Speaker 1: outed by the same people that have maps of where
- 13:27Speaker 1: ICE agents are, so that you can go after them
- 13:29Speaker 1: if you want to.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I mean, so Democrats, including Hakeem Jeffries, have called for
- 13:34Speaker 2: unmasking ICE, identifying them and going after them. And look,
- 13:38Speaker 2: that's putting ICE law enforcement officers at risk. That's putting
- 13:42Speaker 2: their their spouses at risk, that's putting their children at risk.
- 13:46Speaker 2: This lunatic in Dallas used an app, the ICE Finder,
- 13:49Speaker 2: to go find the facility, to get up on the
- 13:53Speaker 2: roof with a bolt action rifle and fire multiple rounds,
- 13:57Speaker 2: murdering two people. And and look, I understand, I think
- 14:02Speaker 2: it's perfectly reasonable if you're an ice agent not to
- 14:05Speaker 2: want a bunch of angry radicals who want to harm
- 14:09Speaker 2: you and your family to be to be able to
- 14:11Speaker 2: docs you. This is a direct result, and it's not
- 14:14Speaker 2: fringe people. Hakeem Jeffrey stood at the podium and said,
- 14:17Speaker 2: unmask these guys and go after them, and that tragically
- 14:22Speaker 2: lunatics are listening to them.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 14:26Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 14:28Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two. So
- 14:33Speaker 1: how quickly can these firings take place? How massive could
- 14:37Speaker 1: they be? And how much research has been done behind
- 14:41Speaker 1: the scenes to get rid of a lot of these
- 14:43Speaker 1: woke bureaucrats that we that we've been wanting to get
- 14:47Speaker 1: rid of, that the presidents wanted to get rid of,
- 14:49Speaker 1: the cabinet secretaries of wanting to get rid of Like
- 14:51Speaker 1: how I mean, I'm assuming they're burning the midnight oil
- 14:54Speaker 1: kind of like Goajes did. Let's find the people we
- 14:56Speaker 1: want to get rid of, and this is our chance
- 14:58Speaker 1: to do it. And and and by the way it's done,
- 15:01Speaker 1: like it's not like he's gone from their jobs back
- 15:03Speaker 1: like it's done.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So I think that starts happening today. I think October one,
- 15:09Speaker 2: you start seeing pink slips. I think we will see
- 15:13Speaker 2: left wing bureaucrats fired today. I think we'll see them
- 15:17Speaker 2: fired tomorrow.
- 15:19Speaker 18: You know.
- 15:19Speaker 2: This evening, I had dinner with the Deputy Secretary of
- 15:22Speaker 2: HHS who's a longtime friend of mine. He was actually
- 15:25Speaker 2: a groomsm in my wedding. Great guy, I asked him.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I said, Okay, the White House asked every cabinet agency
- 15:32Speaker 2: preparing list of people for the riff and he said, yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 2: we're doing that. He said, every agency, when the White
- 15:38Speaker 2: House directs us to do that, we do that. We're
- 15:41Speaker 2: going to see I think hundreds, if not thousands, of
- 15:44Speaker 2: left wing bureaucrats fired in the next several days. I
- 15:48Speaker 2: think that's going to put the Democrat Party in crisis.
- 15:51Speaker 2: And by the way, we're not going to fire people
- 15:54Speaker 2: that are critical for the priorities you and you and
- 15:57Speaker 2: I care about. So we're not going to see border
- 16:00Speaker 2: agents who are securing the border fired. We're not going
- 16:02Speaker 2: to see ICE agents who are deporting gang bangers fired.
- 16:06Speaker 2: We're not going to see FBI agents who are catching pedophiles.
- 16:10Speaker 2: We're not going to see them fired. We're not going
- 16:12Speaker 2: to see soldiers and sailors, at airmen and marines who
- 16:16Speaker 2: are keeping this nation safe, We're not going to see
- 16:18Speaker 2: them fired. We're going to see bureaucrats who are shutting
- 16:22Speaker 2: down factories, who are destroying jobs, who are pursuing radical
- 16:28Speaker 2: left wing agendas. They're going to be the ones fired,
- 16:32Speaker 2: and ultimately the Democrats are going to cave. The only
- 16:35Speaker 2: question is how long Schumer wants to go through this
- 16:40Speaker 2: charade before he gives.
- 16:41Speaker 1: In, which brings me my final question, that is the
- 16:44Speaker 1: media does seem to be covering this a little bit
- 16:47Speaker 1: more with honesty than I've ever seen them before. Today
- 16:50Speaker 1: there was a viral clip that is, the tables have
- 16:53Speaker 1: been turned. Democrats are now literally under fire for a
- 16:57Speaker 1: clip that shows them slamming government down tactics, the same
- 17:01Speaker 1: ones they're accused of using right now. And here's what
- 17:04Speaker 1: it sounded like back in twenty eighteen. In December of
- 17:06Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, Donald Trump's President Chuck Schumer n An's posy
- 17:10Speaker 1: in the Oval office.
- 17:11Speaker 20: Listen, we do not want to shut down the government
- 17:13Speaker 20: because you can me say something, mister President North Dakota.
- 17:19Speaker 15: The most unfortunate that we came in here in good
- 17:21Speaker 15: faith and we're entering into this kind of a discussion
- 17:27Speaker 15: in the public.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Transparency.
- 17:31Speaker 15: I know, it's high transparency when we're not stipulating to
- 17:34Speaker 15: a set of facts.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I mean, you listen to that one, they're like, we're
- 17:38Speaker 1: not in favor of it. And then the speaker also
- 17:40Speaker 1: put out a very interesting yes video montage reminding people
- 17:47Speaker 1: the same thing, like, Hey, you guys think that it's
- 17:50Speaker 1: the Democrats. Mike Johnson putting this out and here he
- 17:53Speaker 1: is and what he said to remind the people about
- 17:55Speaker 1: Democrats in their own words, it is not.
- 18:01Speaker 19: Normal to shut down the government when we don't get
- 18:03Speaker 19: what we want.
- 18:04Speaker 20: If the government shuts down, it will be average Americans
- 18:07Speaker 20: who suffer most. A government shutdown means seniors who rely
- 18:11Speaker 20: on Social Security could be thrown into chaos.
- 18:14Speaker 8: Families will be hurt, Farmers will be hurt.
- 18:17Speaker 4: It's the service members who will work without a paycheck.
- 18:21Speaker 12: It's the firefighters who will be furlough.
- 18:24Speaker 9: Is shut down.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You know who's gonna feel the pain.
- 18:27Speaker 9: You know who it hurts you?
- 18:29Speaker 8: Everyday people and the most vulnerable seniors, veterans working families,
- 18:34Speaker 8: hungary kids. Yall, Democrats are signaling they're ready for fight
- 18:43Speaker 8: this time.
- 18:43Speaker 9: Schumer tells the Associated Press, Well, things have changed.
- 18:47Speaker 18: It is not normal to shut down the government when
- 18:49Speaker 18: we don't get what we want.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I mean, I love them using AOC's words. I feel
- 18:55Speaker 1: like the media has changed a little bit. Here your
- 18:57Speaker 1: thoughts on that.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Well, I'm impressed that you recognize AOC's voice.
- 19:02Speaker 18: I didn't know.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I knew that was a shrill Democrat. I didn't know
- 19:05Speaker 2: who that was, So I appreciate that clarity. Listen, every
- 19:11Speaker 2: single Democrat, I think, without exception, has gone on record
- 19:14Speaker 2: being against shutdowns. The fact that they shut it all
- 19:18Speaker 2: down today demonstrates what utter hypocrites they are. And I
- 19:22Speaker 2: got to say as I was walking off the Senate floor,
- 19:24Speaker 2: so I voted to fund the government this afternoon. The
- 19:28Speaker 2: Democrats voted against it and caused a shut down. All
- 19:32Speaker 2: the reporters were circling, and their talking point that they
- 19:35Speaker 2: really wanted to press is they said, Okay, Cruise in
- 19:39Speaker 2: twenty thirteen, in the fight over Obamacare, you Ted Cruz
- 19:45Speaker 2: forced to shut down. Isn't that what the Democrats are
- 19:48Speaker 2: doing now? And I just started laughing at them, and
- 19:51Speaker 2: I said, look, number one. In twenty thirteen, when I
- 19:55Speaker 2: did a twenty one hour filibuster on the floor, I
- 19:59Speaker 2: was fighting for Americans. I was fighting for American citizens
- 20:03Speaker 2: whose healthcare premiums had skyrocketed, and they had skyrocketed because
- 20:07Speaker 2: Obamacare was a train wreck. It was a disaster. It
- 20:10Speaker 2: caused a massive increase in health insurance premiums. It made
- 20:14Speaker 2: the health insurance companies rich, and it made millions of
- 20:19Speaker 2: ordinary Americans unable to afford health insurance. And by the way,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I was also fighting for it at a time when
- 20:26Speaker 2: the House of Representatives that was Republican had voted to
- 20:30Speaker 2: fund the federal government, fund the entirety of the federal government,
- 20:34Speaker 2: but not fund Obamacare, so not fund the law that
- 20:38Speaker 2: was causing damage to American citizens. And I said, here,
- 20:41Speaker 2: what's happening is Chuck Schumer is shutting down the federal
- 20:45Speaker 2: government not to help American citizens who were getting hurt,
- 20:48Speaker 2: but he's shutting down the federal government in order to
- 20:52Speaker 2: help millions of illegal aliens and give them free healthcare.
- 20:56Speaker 2: And he's willing to shut down your federal government to
- 20:59Speaker 2: give of free health care to illegals. And that fundamentally,
- 21:04Speaker 2: there's a hypocrisy to it. And I also said, you know,
- 21:08Speaker 2: the reporters were like, isn't it the same, And I said, listen,
- 21:11Speaker 2: let me be clear. In twenty thirteen, it was Chuck
- 21:16Speaker 2: Schumer who shut the government down. Then I was trying
- 21:19Speaker 2: to fund the entirety of the federal government except for Obamacare,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid decided, no, we'll shut
- 21:25Speaker 2: it all down because we care so much about socialized medicine.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And I told the reporters. We had like fifty reporters
- 21:31Speaker 2: standing outside the Senate Florida. I said, look, none of
- 21:34Speaker 2: you guys reported that. You all blamed the shutdown on
- 21:37Speaker 2: me because you're all left wing hacks. Yeah, today all
- 21:42Speaker 2: of you are still left wing hacks. You agree with
- 21:45Speaker 2: the Democrats, But the facts are so overwhelming. It is
- 21:49Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer and the Democrats who are shutting the government
- 21:52Speaker 2: down that even you dishonest liars are reporting. This is
- 21:56Speaker 2: the Schumer shutdown. Because the House has fun to the
- 22:00Speaker 2: government exactly the status quo. The funding yesterday has continued
- 22:06Speaker 2: to tomorrow. It is the Democrats who have said, let's
- 22:09Speaker 2: shut it down. And I think at the end of
- 22:11Speaker 2: the day, they're going to lose that battle. But this
- 22:14Speaker 2: is what you got to ask yourself, is how long
- 22:17Speaker 2: do the Democrats have to perform for their crazy left
- 22:21Speaker 2: wing activists before they allow the government to reopen as before.
- 22:27Speaker 1: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
- 22:29Speaker 1: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
- 22:31Speaker 1: podcast from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I want to get back to the big story number
- 22:38Speaker 1: three of the week. You may have missed the left
- 22:41Speaker 1: wing crime stistics center are brutal bom protests. For example,
- 22:46Speaker 1: twenty twenty, there are over ten thousand demonstrations and cause
- 22:51Speaker 1: one to two billion in insured property damage. According to Axios,
- 22:56Speaker 1: this is the most expensive civil disorder in US history.
- 23:01Speaker 1: There were also nineteen Americans into the conservative numbers who
- 23:05Speaker 1: died directly caused by the demonstrations, and that's another data
- 23:10Speaker 1: point that they left in the media does not want
- 23:12Speaker 1: to talk about. But if you look at this and
- 23:15Speaker 1: you see what the Democrats have done to our cities
- 23:19Speaker 1: and the fact that this has all been i think
- 23:22Speaker 1: bought and paid for, funneled money going into these groups
- 23:26Speaker 1: that are advocating for this type of organized violence. That's
- 23:29Speaker 1: the other thing that scares the hell out of me.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Well, and I want to draw a linkage between each
- 23:35Speaker 2: of the stories we're talking about today, which is that
- 23:39Speaker 2: we see left wing policies that undermine law enforcement, that
- 23:45Speaker 2: seek to abolish or defund the police, that put Soros
- 23:47Speaker 2: prosecutors in office, that release violent criminals, and you see
- 23:51Speaker 2: the result being more and more violent crime. You then
- 23:55Speaker 2: see democrats engaging in rhetoric to obfuscate, to hide that
- 23:59Speaker 2: to two ten, that's not happening. But you also see
- 24:03Speaker 2: the left engaging in increasingly angry rhetoric, demonizing their opponents.
- 24:08Speaker 2: And if you look at ideologically motivated crime, the vast
- 24:14Speaker 2: majority of it violence that is ideologically motivated, the overwhelming
- 24:18Speaker 2: majority is on the left. As you mentioned, the BLM
- 24:21Speaker 2: riots all across the country, American cities burned all across
- 24:25Speaker 2: the country, not just that. You look at the anti Semitic,
- 24:27Speaker 2: anti Israel campus protests. Those were leftists, those were anarchists,
- 24:31Speaker 2: those were Jehatis, those were communists. All across the country.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Over two thousand, three hundred anti Semitic incidents reported on campuses,
- 24:40Speaker 2: which is by the way, the highest ever recorded. That
- 24:42Speaker 2: was in twenty twenty four and twenty twenty five the
- 24:45Speaker 2: La riots. This year twenty twenty five, seventeen people injured
- 24:49Speaker 2: a state of emergency in La County. The city reports
- 24:52Speaker 2: nineteen point seven million cost as of mid June.
- 24:55Speaker 15: Wow.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Of course, President Trump the target of two assassination attempts tragedy.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Our friend Charlie Kirk successfully murdered in a horrific assassination.
- 25:06Speaker 2: This pattern that the murderer who flew from California to
- 25:09Speaker 2: Maryland and to murder Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Thankfully, he was
- 25:13Speaker 2: arrested by the police before he could carry out that
- 25:16Speaker 2: heinous act. And by the way, you go back to
- 25:19Speaker 2: twenty seventeen when a gunman came to Washington, d C.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Looking for elected Republicans to murder, went to the congressional
- 25:27Speaker 2: baseball practice and opened fire, hitting multiple elected Republicans, nearly
- 25:32Speaker 2: killing Steve Scalise. Had the bullet been an inch one
- 25:36Speaker 2: side or the other, Steve, a good friend, would have
- 25:39Speaker 2: been killed that day. Instead, he was injured badly. Thankfully
- 25:42Speaker 2: he survived. This pattern is happening over and over and
- 25:46Speaker 2: over again, and there's a direct connection between the demonization.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Look when Charlie Kirk was murdered. Far too many on
- 25:54Speaker 2: the left celebrated, cheered it on. When Luigi the nutcase
- 26:00Speaker 2: or the CEO of health insurance company, supposedly respected members
- 26:05Speaker 2: of the media celebrated leftists or getting his face tattooed
- 26:08Speaker 2: on them. They celebrate violence, and this week we saw
- 26:14Speaker 2: two more instances happen. We saw number one Immigration and
- 26:18Speaker 2: Customs enforcement agents targeted in two separate car attacks during
- 26:23Speaker 2: enforcement actions in Chicago this past week, two different car attacks.
- 26:27Speaker 2: It turns out that when Democrats demonize Ice, when they
- 26:31Speaker 2: call them Nazis, as the Democrats have done over and
- 26:34Speaker 2: over and over again. Our last podcast, we played a
- 26:37Speaker 2: whole clip of Democrats calling Ice and law enforcement Nazis
- 26:41Speaker 2: and gestapos. That turnout, when you use that kind of language,
- 26:46Speaker 2: there are lunatics who listen to it and move to violence.
- 26:49Speaker 2: As you know, I was on the ground in Dallas
- 26:52Speaker 2: and was on site within minutes of the sniper attack
- 26:56Speaker 2: at the ICE facility in Dallas by a deranged leftist
- 26:59Speaker 2: who wrote who wrote wrote his left wing agenda on
- 27:03Speaker 2: the shellcasings, emulating what Charlie Kirk's murder had done. This
- 27:10Speaker 2: pattern is happening over and over and over again, and
- 27:13Speaker 2: I got to say, it's Bet Bennett's disturbing. I don't
- 27:16Speaker 2: see I don't see many Democrats modulating their rhetoric. Gavin
- 27:24Speaker 2: Nitersoon just this week called Steve Miller, the deputy White
- 27:28Speaker 2: House Chief of Staff, a fascist, using the same language
- 27:32Speaker 2: that that motivated, among others, the murderers of Charlie Kirk.
- 27:35Speaker 2: And they keep doubling down and doubling down and doubling down.
- 27:38Speaker 2: And they know more ICE agents are going to be targeted,
- 27:41Speaker 2: they know more police are going to be targeted. And
- 27:43Speaker 2: and I want to be clear about something because some
- 27:46Speaker 2: will say, well, gosh, there are crazies on the right
- 27:49Speaker 2: who commit violence, and that's true, But if you look
- 27:53Speaker 2: at ideologically motivated violence, the crazies on the right who
- 27:57Speaker 2: commit violence are usually just mentally deranged. So, or to
- 28:02Speaker 2: put it a little different, liberals can be the victims
- 28:07Speaker 2: of violence as well. So Nancy Pelosi's husband was attacked
- 28:10Speaker 2: by a deranged, mentally ill person with a hammer. Now
- 28:14Speaker 2: that was tragic, but I would not describe that as
- 28:18Speaker 2: ideologically motivated violence. He was simply a victim of a
- 28:24Speaker 2: mentally ill person engaging in an active violence and that's horrific.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And there's a difference. You and I didn't celebrate that. Nobody.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Violence is never, never, never, right. And the difference is
- 28:34Speaker 2: the left celebrates it far too often, encourages it on
- 28:36Speaker 2: the front end, celebrates it on the back end where
- 28:39Speaker 2: it whereas any principled conservative I know it will condemn
- 28:42Speaker 2: violence across the board say do not engage in violence.
- 28:45Speaker 2: And compare the difference of the reaction when George Floyd
- 28:49Speaker 2: died and you had violent riots and fires across the
- 28:52Speaker 2: country compared to when Charlie Kirk was murdered and you
- 28:54Speaker 2: had candlelight vigils and prayer vigils, and the violence was
- 28:58Speaker 2: from the leftist attacking people praying and holding up candles.
- 29:02Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Well, and not only that, you even had Democrats this
- 29:04Speaker 1: week attacking Jeffries talking about those that went to the
- 29:08Speaker 1: Republican convention as being like extremists. I mean, they're not dialing.
- 29:12Speaker 2: This supervillain super villains is what he called the inauguration.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, excuse me, the inauguration. Yeah, he talked about
- 29:18Speaker 1: the inauguration. He said that there was a super villain convention. Uh,
- 29:22Speaker 1: And that is them not downplaying this, that is him
- 29:25Speaker 1: ratching it up knowing that we just left Charlie Kirk's
- 29:29Speaker 1: funeral from being at.
- 29:32Speaker 2: And the hate on the left. It is directed to conservatives,
- 29:35Speaker 2: it is directed at capitalism, it is directed at Americans,
- 29:38Speaker 2: but it's also viciously anti Semitic and on young m
- 29:41Speaker 2: Gapour in Manchester a a Syrian uh Assyrian ironically uh
- 29:51Speaker 2: with the name wait wait for it, what was the name?
- 29:54Speaker 2: What was the name of this murder? His name is
- 29:56Speaker 2: Jahad al Shami and he targeted worshippers at a synagogue
- 30:06Speaker 2: on jan Kapor. This pattern is happening over and over
- 30:12Speaker 2: and over again, and it's wrong and we need to
- 30:15Speaker 2: stand against it.
- 30:16Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Sentner,
