- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice. Come on now, digney
- 2:09Speaker 2: one of only Steve Harvey got what radio show man?
- 2:15Speaker 2: What you're doing with it? Trying to do the very
- 2:18Speaker 2: very best I can with it?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I really am.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You know, I get tired sometimes on my journey. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 2: not gonna kid you. Trying to make something about yourself
- 2:29Speaker 2: is a task. If you want to attempt to do something,
- 2:36Speaker 2: and and understand going in that that if the thing
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're trying to do is to improve yourself, to better
- 2:45Speaker 2: your position, to better your relationship, your family, anything, you're
- 2:51Speaker 2: trying to be a better you. You're trying to make
- 2:55Speaker 2: more money, you're trying to get it together, you're trying
- 2:59Speaker 2: to change if any of those things are in your
- 3:03Speaker 2: hopes and dreams, know this right here you are about
- 3:09Speaker 2: to face some challenges. But you might as well go
- 3:13Speaker 2: ahead anyway and face those challenges, because if you don't,
- 3:18Speaker 2: you have a whole other set of challenges to face.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You know, It's an amazing thing, man, how people sit
- 3:25Speaker 2: around and they watch other people strike out to become successful.
- 3:30Speaker 2: They sit in the stands watching these people play out
- 3:33Speaker 2: these games, and they and they and they criticize, They boo,
- 3:38Speaker 2: they laugh at their efforts and everything, and they talk
- 3:41Speaker 2: about the failuse. He missed that game when he shop boy,
- 3:44Speaker 2: he sunk man, he did this. He ain't worth that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I hear people who sit in stands who criticize people
- 3:54Speaker 2: who are out there on the playing field. Now, when
- 3:58Speaker 2: you're on the plane, feel you have a set of
- 4:02Speaker 2: challenges in front of you. You're going to be open
- 4:04Speaker 2: to criticism. You're going to be open to ridicule. You're
- 4:09Speaker 2: going to be talked about when you don't know the
- 4:12Speaker 2: people who are talking about you. Now, here's the upside
- 4:20Speaker 2: to being the player on the field that's facing all
- 4:23Speaker 2: the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke, to being
- 4:27Speaker 2: talked about.
- 4:29Speaker 1: He has something going for him.
- 4:33Speaker 2: This person, boy, woman, child, girl, man has an opportunity
- 4:39Speaker 2: to win. They have an opportunity to win. And in
- 4:45Speaker 2: the game of life, just because you lose one of
- 4:50Speaker 2: the games, or you lose one of the matches, it
- 4:53Speaker 2: don't mean you've lost. You don't get put out. You
- 4:57Speaker 2: keep playing and when you here's the upside. You have
- 5:03Speaker 2: the opportunity to win. But guess what, You're gonna win
- 5:06Speaker 2: some of the matches. You're gonna win some of the points.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You're gonna make some of the dunks. You're gonna hit
- 5:11Speaker 2: some of them over the wall. You're gonna hit some
- 5:13Speaker 2: out the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will
- 5:17Speaker 2: if you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the
- 5:22Speaker 2: people who don't face criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:28Speaker 2: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:40Speaker 2: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:45Speaker 2: gonna live with myself? What I'm gonna do? Now? What
- 5:53Speaker 2: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Wonder what job will hire me? Wonder if I can
- 6:05Speaker 2: get paid for criticize?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Ah, woe is me?
- 6:12Speaker 2: I can't find the purpose in my life. And man,
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm just waking up in a state of confusion.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I don't know what to do.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you something, which one of them
- 6:23Speaker 2: set the challenges you'd rather be faced with? Because if
- 6:27Speaker 2: I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on the field playing,
- 6:31Speaker 2: if I'm out on the court playing, then guess what
- 6:34Speaker 2: I got a chance at winning? But guess what I'm
- 6:37Speaker 2: doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing. I'm waking
- 6:41Speaker 2: up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying to come
- 6:44Speaker 2: up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of a goal
- 6:49Speaker 2: every single day. Versus the people in the stands who
- 6:58Speaker 2: know neither victory nor defeat. Get in the game, face
- 7:06Speaker 2: the challenges. Better yourself, better your wife, better your children,
- 7:10Speaker 2: better your condition, better your employment status, better your job,
- 7:13Speaker 2: better your career. Take a shot. Come on, man, what
- 7:16Speaker 2: you waiting on? Because the alternative is to watch other
- 7:20Speaker 2: people play the game?
- 7:23Speaker 1: You know what I just do? Sometimes Sometimes I just
- 7:26Speaker 1: I get.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Forbes magazine or Money magazine, or sometimes I still grab
- 7:31Speaker 2: a copy of the rob Report.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I just flip through it just to see. I used
- 7:36Speaker 1: to get this book called Unique Homes.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Unique Homes is a magazine that just has a lot
- 7:42Speaker 2: of extravagant houses that's on sale across.
- 7:45Speaker 1: The country, across the world. I used to flip through. Man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: let me just see, man, what the people that's playing
- 7:52Speaker 1: the game out there doing.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:57Speaker 2: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:01Speaker 2: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:04Speaker 2: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:08Speaker 2: to accept the challenge.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I think it's for me.
- 8:13Speaker 6: This is just for me.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It may not be the case for you.
- 8:15Speaker 2: For me, I think it's far more difficult to wake
- 8:18Speaker 2: up and just see how life gonna go today, because man,
- 8:20Speaker 2: it could just deal you any kind of hand today.
- 8:24Speaker 2: You understand, I don't like you know spades. Let's talk
- 8:30Speaker 2: a card game for example, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:33Speaker 2: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:35Speaker 2: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:38Speaker 2: little strategies you're gonna do. But you can have all
- 8:41Speaker 2: this age, king, queen, diamond all you want. But man,
- 8:43Speaker 2: you ain't got no spades. They cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Be it with different game. You can create what's in
- 8:51Speaker 2: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:54Speaker 2: can create a hand you can call a trump. You
- 8:57Speaker 2: can make diamonds your space. You can make hard to
- 9:01Speaker 2: clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. What you can
- 9:04Speaker 2: do something with it. It's a different game, man. You
- 9:07Speaker 2: can strategize. I would rather have a say so in
- 9:10Speaker 2: my life than to wake up every day and just
- 9:12Speaker 2: see how it's going. I think it's more difficult to
- 9:15Speaker 2: not accept the challenge to be something than it is
- 9:18Speaker 2: to accept the challenge to be something. I think it's
- 9:21Speaker 2: more difficult to sit around and not be nothing. I
- 9:24Speaker 2: think it's harder to watch everybody life going somewhere but mine.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I think it would be very difficult for me to
- 9:29Speaker 2: sit here and hear them talking about other people that
- 9:32Speaker 2: never mentioned my name.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That would be difficult for me.
- 9:35Speaker 2: To see everybody rise and getting promotions accept me, that
- 9:39Speaker 2: would be difficult for me. It may not be for you,
- 9:42Speaker 2: but for me it would be quite challenging. I would
- 9:44Speaker 2: rather accept the challenge of making something out of my
- 9:47Speaker 2: life than to sit there and criticize those and then
- 9:51Speaker 2: watch and see how my life just may go Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 2: just a thought.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Today you're listening to gentlemen.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You know what?
- 10:01Speaker 2: He did it again another day, another dollar, another opportunity,
- 10:04Speaker 2: another hollow, another shot, another reason.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Come on, man, I mean, what else you need?
- 10:11Speaker 2: I did myself a favorite this morning because I didn't
- 10:13Speaker 2: sleep well last night, because I had a little anxiety
- 10:16Speaker 2: going on, got a little problem that I was just
- 10:19Speaker 2: worrying about a little bit too much. I got up
- 10:21Speaker 2: this morning and I cut on YouTube and I went
- 10:24Speaker 2: to Joel Oldstein. I said, God, I need something. He
- 10:27Speaker 2: sent me to a message call know something about anxiety,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and anyway, I played it. And anxiety comes from my
- 10:37Speaker 2: inability to turn it over to God. Because when I'm
- 10:41Speaker 2: worried about something I have no control over, that's usually
- 10:43Speaker 2: what makes you anxious. Your anxiety comes from worrying about
- 10:47Speaker 2: the future or the past, which you have neither.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Control over, none of them.
- 10:51Speaker 4: And I know that.
- 10:52Speaker 2: But every now and then you got to be reminded.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So I had to be re talked the lesson today.
- 10:57Speaker 2: So I'm starting to get all right out and turn
- 10:59Speaker 2: it over to God. It's in his hands. He ain't
- 11:01Speaker 2: never let me down before, so it must mean he's
- 11:04Speaker 2: somewhere fixing something else up. And then my wife said,
- 11:07Speaker 2: you have to pay attention to your own advice. When
- 11:09Speaker 2: the door closes, don't stand there beating on the door.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Walk up the hall. It's some more dogs. I'm in
- 11:17Speaker 2: the hallway, y'all heading on up and look at God,
- 11:20Speaker 2: Sharlie Strawberry Collin for real, Mississippi Monica Junior and the
- 11:25Speaker 2: legend of nephew Tommy Jr.
- 11:26Speaker 1: What's on your mind today?
- 11:27Speaker 4: Man?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Well, that's that's interesting. Man, gonna walk up the hall.
- 11:31Speaker 7: But you know, when you when you when you fail
- 11:34Speaker 7: at something, what's the encouragement you have to give to
- 11:36Speaker 7: yourself when you fail? Everybody, everybody don't want to see
- 11:39Speaker 7: you win. But you know you don't know who to
- 11:40Speaker 7: turn to at your at your position. So who what
- 11:43Speaker 7: do you say when you feel.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Turn to the only person I turn to when it
- 11:47Speaker 2: go wrong? For me, I talk talk to my wife
- 11:50Speaker 2: because she's my teammate. She's solid, she'd improved that over
- 11:54Speaker 2: the years. And then I gotta go to God. So,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, but failure, for me, I've learned about failure
- 12:00Speaker 2: that it's part of the process. And the reason I
- 12:03Speaker 2: fail is because I attempt. You know, people who don't fail.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Ain't making no attempts, and so I'm always attempting. So
- 12:12Speaker 2: I have a higher degree of potential failure. But then
- 12:16Speaker 2: I also have a higher degree of success because the
- 12:20Speaker 2: more things I tempt, the more things has the possibility
- 12:23Speaker 2: of working out. A lot of people asking God for blessings,
- 12:26Speaker 2: but you ain't giving God nothing to bless You can't
- 12:29Speaker 2: ask God to change your life, and you ain't out
- 12:31Speaker 2: here trying to change it. You ain't taking a meeting,
- 12:35Speaker 2: you ain't feeling out application, you ain't doing no.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Interviews, but you studyed well God that God bless me.
- 12:40Speaker 5: What you doing?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Dog?
- 12:43Speaker 2: You can't expect a new job to walk up to
- 12:46Speaker 2: your door. I've never seen the job walk up to
- 12:47Speaker 2: your door.
- 12:49Speaker 5: I'm a job.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I ain't never seen nobody just mail you a check
- 12:56Speaker 1: for no reason. Man, just here. Even if you hit
- 13:01Speaker 1: the lotto, you gotta go down there play it, that's right.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I can't win if you don't play.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You know, And just as humans, it's tough sometimes because
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know, the high you get up on the mountain, Manda,
- 13:12Speaker 2: the hard it is to breathe up there.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's sting air up there. But you know, you just
- 13:17Speaker 1: got it. I've been up here, I've been practicing a
- 13:19Speaker 1: long time, so I just have to have to go
- 13:21Speaker 1: on that.
- 13:23Speaker 5: I mean, all right, let's get deep this morning.
- 13:26Speaker 3: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:29Speaker 3: we're gonna hear from the nephew. Uh, We're gonna hear
- 13:32Speaker 3: from the nephew as he runs that prank. Pat, there
- 13:34Speaker 3: there goes the deepness.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna be deep.

- 14:30Speaker 6: Here is Kurch Gospel. Quis Kirch Gospel queen. Let's go
- 14:35Speaker 6: catch This is Grand Grand Grant, right, Yes, hey, hey, great,
- 14:40Speaker 6: this is Bill Lewis. I'm calling from a mouse missionary
- 14:45Speaker 6: Baptist shurs. You and your wife just joined a couple
- 14:48Speaker 6: of weeks ago, am I right?
- 14:50Speaker 4: Absolutely? Yes? Okay, So now listen, I wanted to reach
- 14:55Speaker 4: out to you. I know you guys have started the
- 14:59Speaker 4: the orientation and from my understanding you you finished one
- 15:03Speaker 4: one class of the orientation. You got three more to go?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yes?
- 15:07Speaker 4: All right, all right, all right. So first of all,
- 15:09Speaker 4: I want to say welcome to man A Finine and
- 15:12Speaker 4: and I hope you are enjoying yourself. I know that
- 15:16Speaker 4: you and your wife are a mixed couple. You're you're
- 15:19Speaker 4: a Caucasian and.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She's she's black.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Are you Are you liking the church so far? Grant? Absolutely,
- 15:26Speaker 4: we really are enjoying it.
- 15:28Speaker 1: We completed our first orientation and uh yeah, so far
- 15:32Speaker 1: we're really enjoying it.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Okay, okay, I catch at a bad time. I am
- 15:36Speaker 4: a work right now, but it's okay, I've got a
- 15:38Speaker 4: couple of I've got a couple of minutes, Okay, okay.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I just wanted to call you, man. I was worried
- 15:44Speaker 4: I know you because I don't think you noticed. But
- 15:46Speaker 4: you are the first Caucasian to join our church, and
- 15:51Speaker 4: I just want to make sure you kind of knew
- 15:53Speaker 4: the language and and just just kind of knowing what
- 15:57Speaker 4: the Black Church is all about. And there's certain saying
- 16:00Speaker 4: and different things I think you should know so that
- 16:03Speaker 4: you know, I just don't want you to say that
- 16:06Speaker 4: the wrong thing while you at the church, if that
- 16:08Speaker 4: makes sense, Okay, Okay. So what I wanted to do,
- 16:12Speaker 4: like I wanted to give you a little Black Church
- 16:15Speaker 4: quiz so you can kind of maybe if you could
- 16:19Speaker 4: let me know where you are, you know.
- 16:21Speaker 6: If you're on a lower level or a high level
- 16:23Speaker 6: as far as being knowledgeable about the.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Black Church, Like feel this blank in for me, grant
- 16:29Speaker 4: And if you don't matter, I just want to take
- 16:31Speaker 4: a little bit of time and I'll let you get
- 16:32Speaker 4: back to work. But first of all, give a blank
- 16:36Speaker 4: to God. What would go in that blank right there.
- 16:40Speaker 4: First of all, give a blank to God. Now all
- 16:44Speaker 4: I can think of something has give give thanks to God. No,
- 16:48Speaker 4: see that's wrong. See that's wrong. See see what it
- 16:51Speaker 4: is is. First of all, give a honor took off,
- 16:54Speaker 4: all right? Remember that. First of all, give an honor
- 16:56Speaker 4: to God. You got that? Okay, yes, yes, okay. First
- 17:00Speaker 4: of all, give an honor to God, who is the
- 17:03Speaker 4: blank of my life? What? What? What? What goes in
- 17:07Speaker 4: the blank? First of all, give an honor to God,
- 17:09Speaker 4: who is the blank of my life, the love of
- 17:14Speaker 4: my life. No, no, that's that's that's that's wrong. First
- 17:18Speaker 4: of all, give an honor to God, who is the
- 17:21Speaker 4: head of my life. Do you share that? I'm sorry, okay,
- 17:26Speaker 4: I was just are you sure? Are you sure about that? Oh?
- 17:29Speaker 4: I'm definitely sure about man. Don't don't. Don't. What I
- 17:31Speaker 4: don't want you to do is question what I know.
- 17:34Speaker 4: I'm from the Black Church. I know you. No, I wasn't.
- 17:36Speaker 4: I wasn't questioning you, sir, I wasn't.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I've just always heard it that way. But okay, So
- 17:42Speaker 4: so I'm trying to give you the understanding of morning
- 17:45Speaker 4: what the Black Church is about. You know, what I'm saying,
- 17:47Speaker 4: I understand. I'm just I appreciate you. I'm I apologize. Okay.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Now now look, I don't know these answers obviously, but
- 17:56Speaker 1: I've got a meeting.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I got to get you here in a minute like this.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'm curious that everyone in the church.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Get these stone calls. Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 18:02Speaker 4: grand I know what you have a meaning, But what's
- 18:03Speaker 4: more important your meeting or knowing your position at the
- 18:08Speaker 4: Black Church? What what's more important?
- 18:11Speaker 1: I really don't have time for this right now.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I can't believe it's actually aptening, Like did you did
- 18:14Speaker 4: your castor even know that you're calling you right now? Well? No,
- 18:18Speaker 4: I took the liberty of myself. What I realized you
- 18:20Speaker 4: was Caucasian, that I would call and try to help
- 18:23Speaker 4: you so you would know what to do when you're
- 18:25Speaker 4: in the Black church when people are saying certain things
- 18:28Speaker 4: you Okay, okay, grant if you don't man, just do
- 18:32Speaker 4: this funny grant, like, do you know what hooping is? Cooping? Like?
- 18:37Speaker 4: Who's a hooping?
- 18:38Speaker 5: Uh?
- 18:39Speaker 4: No, cooping is when the pastor is at the end
- 18:43Speaker 4: of his sermon. So listen to this. Ah God, I'm
- 18:49Speaker 4: no do that for me, if you if you would
- 18:51Speaker 4: grant Oh oh god, oh man, no, no, no, come
- 19:01Speaker 4: on you women, Oh no, no God, I'm like, d.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I gotta I can't believe I'm doing that.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Oh no, oh yeah, oh god, hold mighty.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Okay, Hey Greg, do you think maybe it's possible today
- 19:23Speaker 4: and you could have some sessions before you come back
- 19:27Speaker 4: to the church and I can prepare you more.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Hey, man's listen, you have caught me at a really

- 38:19Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I ain't nobody having double eggs this year.
- 38:25Speaker 3: By the price of frozen shrimp, Now, this is something.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Frozen shrimp is down four percent from last year. Okay, okay,
- 38:34Speaker 3: yeah of America.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well frozen it was the same one that
- 38:42Speaker 1: was costing that a year ago. Yeah, that's easy to
- 38:46Speaker 1: sell a frozen shrimp that way. All right. Chips, this
- 38:50Speaker 1: is the same shrimp they had at the last Super
- 38:52Speaker 1: Bowl party.
- 38:55Speaker 5: Not good, that's not good.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Chips and dip our game day staple. Uh, and they're
- 39:00Speaker 3: still budget friendly. The price of onion dip has only
- 39:03Speaker 3: increased about one and a half percent, while the prices
- 39:06Speaker 3: of natural cheese dips, salsa, corn chips, and potato chips
- 39:09Speaker 3: have all gone down by zero point seven percent to
- 39:13Speaker 3: five one percent compared to twenty twenty four. Now when
- 39:17Speaker 3: you say it went down by how much percent point
- 39:21Speaker 3: seven percent to five point one percent, that's compared.
- 39:25Speaker 1: To twenty two So it's a two tiphs deduction. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 39:31Speaker 1: I'm fin some man for you. Go ahead, shure all right.
- 39:35Speaker 1: How much has a bag of big bag of chips costs?
- 39:40Speaker 4: Now?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, let's say it's five dollars and fifty times
- 39:45Speaker 2: point on your chips is gonna be eleven percent eleven
- 39:49Speaker 2: cents cheaper.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Thank you for that. Enjoy the savings.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Because next year, Now, if you're drinking beer and wine,
- 40:02Speaker 3: prices have increased. Now they've gone up, but only about
- 40:05Speaker 3: two percent.
- 40:08Speaker 1: So there you go. Beer, how much is how much
- 40:10Speaker 1: is a six pack of beer? Eight dollars?
- 40:13Speaker 2: Eight dollars? That's going to cost sixteen cent more? I
- 40:18Speaker 2: probably won't to watch how many cans you get?
- 40:26Speaker 5: What are you gonna have at your Super Bowl party?
- 40:28Speaker 5: See if you haven't won this year?
- 40:29Speaker 1: To yeah, I'm having oh beer and potato chips.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Damn sure, ain't gonna get no eggs because they ain't
- 40:44Speaker 2: went nowhere, said yeah Donald Trump?
- 40:51Speaker 3: All right, guys, coming up in thirty four minutes after
- 40:54Speaker 3: the hour, we're gonna talk about our shared black culture
- 40:57Speaker 3: experiences right after this this Black History Month, Yeah it is.
- 41:02Speaker 3: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. Happy Black History Months? Yeah there,
- 41:11Speaker 3: Happy Black History Months?
- 41:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 41:15Speaker 3: As black people, we share common experiences of course in
- 41:19Speaker 3: our culture.
- 41:20Speaker 6: Uh.
- 41:20Speaker 3: There were some fun examples posted on Essence Magazine's i
- 41:23Speaker 3: G page. Here is one of our favorite black sayings
- 41:27Speaker 3: from our parents. One of them is, I ain't one
- 41:30Speaker 3: of your little friends. We've all heard that way, we
- 41:33Speaker 3: all heard. What about this black household rule when we
- 41:37Speaker 3: were little? You had to be home before the street
- 41:40Speaker 3: lights came on? Yes, ma'am true.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Tommy.
- 41:49Speaker 3: What are some of your other shared black cultural experiences
- 41:52Speaker 3: or sayings?
- 41:53Speaker 4: You know?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Week? Oh what I got that? I told her?
- 42:02Speaker 6: I told my mama that one day. My mama said,
- 42:05Speaker 6: you're gonna knock me in the next way, and I
- 42:06Speaker 6: told her to book me for Thursday. Mama knocked me smooth.
- 42:12Speaker 6: My dad was standing on me when I woke up.
- 42:13Speaker 6: My dad said, you're gonna quit effing with your mama.
- 42:18Speaker 1: All Saul, Come on, you know I love your family.
- 42:24Speaker 7: My mommy and my daddy was crazy anyway, because I
- 42:26Speaker 7: mean one day my daddy came home because I made.
- 42:28Speaker 1: F F on my report card. My dad say, I
- 42:31Speaker 1: can you due the time because I'm tired of working.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I've never heard that I kill you. I'm tired of working.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I'm not gonna hit up and raised no ungrateful kids.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I saould have God, I can come in here with
- 42:46Speaker 1: f because you can't learn yes and to the time.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Come tired of work?
- 43:02Speaker 2: Why is you standing in the refrigerator. You ain't bought
- 43:06Speaker 2: nothing in there?
- 43:07Speaker 1: You're right, Yeah, that's a good one. That's it.
- 43:11Speaker 4: We all.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 43:16Speaker 6: You're gonna you're gonna let them little boys you're running with.
- 43:18Speaker 6: There's gonna be the very one help you get your
- 43:20Speaker 6: ass with. The very one gonna be the one help
- 43:24Speaker 6: you get your ass.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Or how about this? How about this?
- 43:29Speaker 7: Get from in front of me? You smell like out side.
- 43:31Speaker 7: I ain't know outside had a smell.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Yeah oh yeah, yeah, yeah, had a smell. Yeah yeah
- 43:37Speaker 1: that's black. Oh dang, that's black.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Well you know mine? You know mine? Oh, come on,
- 43:45Speaker 5: wearing sit down, little girl. Everyone has seen you have
- 43:49Speaker 5: a seat.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Yep.
- 43:51Speaker 5: My entire childhood, that's all I heard.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I love that one. From your mom.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Surely I love.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Close that dope. We're letting all that out. But it's
- 44:03Speaker 1: the screen though we ain't got no more, and it's free.
- 44:11Speaker 5: Air is free.
- 44:12Speaker 1: How much is now?
- 44:19Speaker 5: I love us.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Us?
- 44:23Speaker 1: I raised my voice one time. My daddy said, you
- 44:26Speaker 1: must got some hair now, and that's what this is. Oh,
- 44:31Speaker 1: I mean hair on your chest. That's what this is.
- 44:39Speaker 1: That's what this bout. You got some hair now, that's
- 44:41Speaker 1: what this is.
- 44:43Speaker 7: Grand Mama had to call down to the school, go
- 44:44Speaker 7: down to the Prinston office and she'd be like, don't
- 44:46Speaker 7: make me come off my good job, to come down there,
- 44:48Speaker 7: because if I get downing there, it's gonna be good.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I didn't know you had a good job. I didn't
- 44:52Speaker 1: know you the job you complained about. It's a good job. Okay,
- 44:56Speaker 1: don't make me come off my good job. But you
- 44:59Speaker 1: didn't say that. Though you didn't say that.
- 45:03Speaker 7: No, I didn't say none of that. But I'm trying
- 45:05Speaker 7: to figure out that jock you complain about it every day.
- 45:07Speaker 7: That's a good jock that I got in trouble. Okay,
- 45:10Speaker 7: ice about.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Me, but that is something I mean. In our culture,
- 45:14Speaker 3: our parents did not want to take off work. To
- 45:17Speaker 3: go down to that school.
- 45:19Speaker 2: The only reason you raise up in here is cause
- 45:22Speaker 2: you want to get laid down.
- 45:24Speaker 1: That's it only reason.
- 45:28Speaker 2: That's it.
- 45:29Speaker 7: My mama used to say, I'm gonna lay you out,
- 45:31Speaker 7: and you're gonna wonder why why did I get knocked out?
- 45:35Speaker 1: What happened? And we don't knock out. We don't knock
- 45:40Speaker 1: out our kids like we got knocked up. We don't
- 45:42Speaker 1: do the same thing though, because of that, So your
- 45:48Speaker 1: lip's gonna be back around now on your next go ahead.
- 45:51Speaker 3: And say something coming up next, Happy Black History Month,
- 45:56Speaker 3: everybody coming up next to nephew, tell me's bring phone
- 45:59Speaker 3: call right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 46:02Speaker 3: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 46:05Speaker 3: right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 46:08Speaker 3: and the subject is she's caring for my baby and
- 46:12Speaker 3: my husband. We'll get into that. That's pretty self explanatory
- 46:16Speaker 3: right there. We'll get into it though in just a
- 46:18Speaker 3: few because right now it is time for the nephew
- 46:21Speaker 3: with today's prank phone call, which you got nef well.

- 46:59Speaker 6: now so you can just, you know, flashback and understand
- 47:03Speaker 6: how far we have come. But anyway, let's talk to
- 47:05Speaker 6: this young man right. Let me see if I can
- 47:08Speaker 6: get some designer bur Let's see what Lewis Baton can make.

- 56:21Speaker 1: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 56:23Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Thank you, nephew. Subject She's caring for my baby and
- 56:29Speaker 3: my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley. My boyfriend and I have
- 56:33Speaker 3: an eight month old daughter. When I got pregnant, he
- 56:36Speaker 3: said he didn't want to drink or smoke around the baby,
- 56:38Speaker 3: so he'd go out with his friends to do that.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Now I know it was an excuse to do whatever
- 56:43Speaker 3: he wanted to do out in the street. He could
- 56:46Speaker 3: never remember where he had been or what he did
- 56:49Speaker 3: whenever I asked him. I got so irritated that I
- 56:53Speaker 3: started checking his phone. I saw a text between him
- 56:56Speaker 3: and someone with the initials TK, and TK sent a
- 56:59Speaker 3: picture sure of her backside in a bikini. I could
- 57:03Speaker 3: not see her face, but she looked like she was
- 57:05Speaker 3: older by those love handles hanging off of her. My
- 57:08Speaker 3: boyfriend sent back a smiling emoji with hearts around it.
- 57:12Speaker 3: He told TK to meet him wearing that bikini and
- 57:15Speaker 3: he sent her his address. He sent her an address.
- 57:20Speaker 3: I googled the address and it was a house about
- 57:22Speaker 3: two miles from ours. There were no more texts after that.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Then I checked his emails and I saw that he
- 57:28Speaker 3: had a new phone delivered to his job. My Spidey
- 57:32Speaker 3: senses led me to believe that he got the phone
- 57:35Speaker 3: so TK can text him and send him pictures. I
- 57:38Speaker 3: had enough proof to confront him. He said that TK
- 57:42Speaker 3: is his mom's friend. That baby sits our daughter. I
- 57:47Speaker 3: call her Miss Tammy, and I never knew her last name.
- 57:50Speaker 3: My husband said he smokes with TK and he sees
- 57:53Speaker 3: her out a lot. I told him I'd done a
- 57:56Speaker 3: thorough investigation, so I know he's lying. I called him
- 58:00Speaker 3: a nasty pig for having sex with a lady that's
- 58:03Speaker 3: forty years older than him. He laughed in my face.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Miss Tammy will no longer keep my child, but she
- 58:11Speaker 3: can have my man. I plan to move out, and
- 58:14Speaker 3: all he can say is that it's not what you think,
- 58:17Speaker 3: It's not what I think. What else could it be?
- 58:20Speaker 3: Stephen Shirley, Do I need to know? Do I need
- 58:22Speaker 3: to go and talk to Miss Tammy?
- 58:26Speaker 1: Well?
- 58:26Speaker 5: I don't think at this point, Miss Tammy, talking to
- 58:29Speaker 5: her is what you want.
- 58:30Speaker 3: You said, you have your proof, you know what's going on,
- 58:33Speaker 3: and you know this is an interesting letter because you
- 58:36Speaker 3: got right to the point. You've already decided what you're
- 58:39Speaker 3: going to do about it, So I'll get right to
- 58:41Speaker 3: the point. I think you should trust what you feel,
- 58:45Speaker 3: trust your instincts. You knew something wasn't right with him,
- 58:50Speaker 3: so your intuition is not wrong in this. He gets
- 58:54Speaker 3: complete amnesia when he goes out and you ask him
- 58:57Speaker 3: about it when he comes back. No, he knows exactly
- 59:00Speaker 3: what he's doing, and like you said, he wanted to
- 59:02Speaker 3: go out so he could do whatever he wanted to do.
- 59:04Speaker 3: He didn't have any intentions of telling you. He didn't
- 59:07Speaker 3: know you were going to do your investigation. But you
- 59:10Speaker 3: did your own investigation and found pictures of, you say,
- 59:13Speaker 3: an older woman in a bikini. You say she's older
- 59:16Speaker 3: because she has love handles. You saw the text messages
- 59:19Speaker 3: with him asking her to meet him with that same
- 59:22Speaker 3: bikini on, and when you asked him about it, he
- 59:24Speaker 3: laughed in your face. So it's pretty clear that something
- 59:27Speaker 3: is again going on between these two. He lied to
- 59:30Speaker 3: you about it, of course, I'm really sorry that you
- 59:34Speaker 3: had to go through this, especially with a new baby,
- 59:37Speaker 3: and all I know you're hurt, but you will see
- 59:39Speaker 3: better days because this too shall pass.
- 59:41Speaker 5: You got to trust and believe that.
- 59:43Speaker 3: And finally, he's your husband, so if you guys do divorce,
- 59:47Speaker 3: you can get child support from him.
- 59:49Speaker 5: Steve. Wow, Oh it is your boyfriend. This is your boyfriend.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Husband.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Well, she says she's caring for my baby and my husband,
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: and then the letter says, did Steven Shirley my boyfriend
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: and I have So that was probably just whoever makes
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: the title for the letters, you know, yeah, making it
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: most juicy so we could get y'all and listen. Either way,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: it's the same damn problem, eight month old daughter. And
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: he went out, you know this letter. I don't really don't.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I don't know where to go with this. I really
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: really don't. You know, you got you started checking his phone.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: He would go out, say he didn't want to smoke
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: and drink around the baby, so that meant he could
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: go wherever he wanted to go. And so you know,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: you got irritated and you start checking his phone. Then
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: you saw some text between him and somebody with the
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: initials t K. And she has sent a picture of
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: her backside in a bikini. I could see I could
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: not see her face, but she looked like she was
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: older by those love handles. Now, you can have love
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: handles at twenty, so don't even don't don't put that
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: on old people. That starts early. Now, I hit her
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: and the love hangles was hanging off her body. And
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: now that's a little different. Now, you know, when they hanging,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: that means they go out and they go down.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: How do you know all of this stuff?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Well, if they hang it, you know, you know, like
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: it's like any other body partner. But if they hanging, no.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: That's a difference, you know.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: But there's no mention of that in this letter.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just using other examples, well, I know,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: to try to make the letter more interesting, because I'm
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: really not interested in this letter.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I don't really You're.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: Doing a great job anyway.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: My boyfriend sent back a smile and emoji in hearts around.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: He told t K to meet him wearing that bikini,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: and he sent her an address I Google address and
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: it was a house about two miles from hour. Wasn't
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: no more text after that, so I checked his emails,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: and I saw that he had a new phone delivered.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: To his job.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: My Spidey senses told me to believe that he got
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: the bone so TK can text him and send him pictures.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I had enough proof to confront him. He said, TK
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: is his mama's friend. That baby since our daughter, I
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: call him miss Tammy, and I never knew her last name.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: My husband said he smokes with TK and see her
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: out a lot.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: How old is she? Hang on, hang on, Mama's friend.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Well, have part two of your Strawberry letter response coming
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: of today's letter she's caring for my baby and my husband.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: up beside you. Fortunately, every Hondai offers advanced safety features
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: That's right, because Hendai is always working to ensure the
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety Awards from two thousand
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: twenty four.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we go.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject she's caring for
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: my baby and my husband.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: It's a man and a woman. Their boyfriend girlfriend.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: They got an eight month old, and he used to
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: say I don't never want to be around her, smoker
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: and stuff. She used to leave the house. She found
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: out he was leaving the house for other things, so
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: she started checking his phone. Found a picture by somebody
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: named TK. This woman had sent him a picture of
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: her behind in a bikini. Couldn't see her face, which
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: she judged me that the woman is older because she
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: has love handles and they hang it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair. Then the boyfriend sent back.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: A smiling emoji in harts and told t K to
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: meet him at this house and sent her address.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: She googled.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: The house was a couple miles away, so there was
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: no more texts after that. And then she started checking
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: these emails and saw he had a new phone delivered
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: to his job. She assumed that her spidery sentence told
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: her he got the phone so he could get more
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: texting pictures from TK, So she said she had enough
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: proof to confront him. So she confronts the man. He
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: said that TK is his mama's friend. That baby sits
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: y'all's daughter.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: That's what she said.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I call her Miss Tammy, and I never knew her
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: last name. My husband says she smoked. He smokes with
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: TK and he sees her out a lot. How old
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: are your mama friend?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Weed?
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: And he see her out a lot? But she babysit
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: the baby. How is she out a lot if she
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: babysitting the baby?
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: And I'm making sense, I don't understand.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I told him I'd done a thorough investigation, so I
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: know he's lying. I called him a nasty pig for
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: having sex with a lady that's forty years older than him.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I don't know what that got to do with anything,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: but okay, he laughed in my face. He laughed in
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: my face. Now, she said, Miss tammill no longer keep
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: my child, but she can have my man. I plan
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: to move out, And all he can say is is
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: not what I think? What else could it be? There
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: could be a number of things. I'm sure I don't
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: know which one of he trying to get you to believe.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I don't know what he's trying to get her to believe.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: But see, you got it.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Somebody had the picture of the bikini and the butt,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: and you sent somebody an address. I don't know how
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: you get out of this one.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you were, you were trying to help them, man.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I just don't know how you get out of it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Somebody sent you the button picture, you put a smile
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: at all hear, and then send her address to meet
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: you at. I can't get you out of that. I
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: cannot get you out of that. The only thing you
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: could say what she accidentally sent.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Me the picture.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I didn't want to hurt her feelings, so I put
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: a heart emoji and the address I sent her so
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: she could bring our baby over there, because I didn't
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: want to go over her house no more, because I
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: saw she was trying to get me no sir, Yeah
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: that's all, And I don't want to be over her
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: house and upset you and my mama. Wow, that's all
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: he got, but he didn't use that one. All he's
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: saying is is not what you think? So she gonna
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: move out and all he can say is ain't what
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: you think?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: What else could it be?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Do I need to go talk to Miss Tammock? Now, see,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: you gotta be careful about running up on them older women, Yeah,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: because they know how to end conflict quickly.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: What's see you young?
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: First of all, missus Tammy, when you knock on the
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: door and she look outside and see your expression, she's
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: gonna take your rings off. She's gonna go in the
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: bathroom and get some vaclin and put it on her face.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: So yeah, she's gonna put a vas lien on her face.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: So all that you do to her face gonna slip off.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: She gonna take her wig off. Ain't no need of
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: pulling that, and she gonna answer the door with the
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: stocking cap on.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: Scare you.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, if you go up there at Miss Tammock house,
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: it's gonna be different because she know what you're over
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: that for. Because you don't ever come pick the baby up.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: He always dropped baby. Cause see, women, y'all don't know
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: how to act like.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong. Y'all don't know how to go ding dong. Hello.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: You know hey, miss Tammy, how you doing today? I
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: was just doing the wellness check. Make sure you're okay.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: I called your phone. You ain't a maybe I ain't
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: getting no call. I was just checking to see if
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: you are. Said, do you can I use Can I
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: use your phone because my battery went out on my
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: phone and then go in the house.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: But that ain't how y'all do y'all knock on?
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, my ass, Miss Tammy? Right ready, Miss I
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: saw your damn pictures.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Open the door. Now you can't see so I.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Can't really help this lady out. I don't know what
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: she's gonna do.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: Because she's kind of made up her mind though he
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: says she's leaving.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Well you know, yeah, he said, it ain't what you
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: think it is. We'll tell him to tell you what
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: it is.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, if he can explain the picture, the likes
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: and descending the address being giving him a shot. But
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: he got to be able to explain the getting the
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: phone sent to the job, I can ease I was
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: buying it for you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: It was a surprise boy.

- 1:11:34Speaker 1: it is, man, I just I don't know.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: If he's guilty of that, those allegations, then what's the allegation?
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: What it?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: What's it? Clearly?
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: What is it?
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: What I'm saying?
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: One massage there say while he was getting the massage,
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: he rubbed the inside of her thigh.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Just ain't I rubbed you? You rubbed back that ain't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: what that ain't what the that's inappropriate. That's you get
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: the rubbing back you put your hands on it. But
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: now let me say this though, m h, I can't
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: get the inside of my thigh rubbed. I just that's
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: why I don't go.
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: Down anything crazy.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Now, That's why I don't go get massages because I
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: can't get the inside of my If you rub the
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: inside of my thigh, my reaction automatically, autumatically is to
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: rub the inside of your thigh.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: That's just me. That's why I don't go down there.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: And maybe and maybe he got that same problem, cause see,
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: you know, if I you know, you know, if I'm
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: on my stomach and your thumb slide okay, okay, we
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: slide on my glue before and your thumb slide on
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: my glue, then I'm assuming it all be my turn
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: where my thumb can slide on your glue and that
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: that's what happens with it. Yeah, this is not you
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: do me. I do you to tell you what? This
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: is a one way operation. I do all the rubbing.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: She's a professional, yeah, and she should be allowed to
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: do her job.
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: Now, I mean, come on, Jessin Tucker did you see
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: what happened with Deshauna.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Did you see what happened then?
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Well he got in trouble and we gave him guaranteed
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: two hundred and forty million somm that's true.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe justin Tucker thinking I'm gonna see what happens
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: with this story. I'll keep you up. He got a
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: big contract coke Ter coming up.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: At the top of the hour, Steve, a woman on
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: social media needs your advice, she says, Should I say
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: something to my boss?
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: You're listening to the Steve Harvey morning shows Maria and
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Steve Harvey FM. Steve writes, I accidentally overheard my coworker
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: talking about a job interview they have lined up. I'm
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: pretty sure our boss has no clue she is shopping
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: around for another job. She was just put in charge
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: of a new project that's pretty important, and we'll have
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: her working closely with one of our biggest clients. I
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: feel like I need to say something to our boss
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: about this, but I don't want to come off as
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: a gossip. Should I give our boss a heads up
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: or stay out of it all together?
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: That ain't your biziness. That's why we got the right
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: to look for another job, right, Yeah, brown nose and
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: fall Black history months.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: To put you in charge of the project. See that
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: was really wrong. You mad because she got in charge
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: of the project. What do that have to do with
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: her ability to do the project?
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: And what if she doesn't get the job if she
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: does the interview? Anything?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: But but either people make me sicke man.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Yeah, you're a hater, lady.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you what.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: You go in there and tell him I'm looking for
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: a new job, and what what's going happened? Yeah, you're
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: gonna have to get your paperwork out. You're gonna start read.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: You got to go to HR through coverage. You can
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: get candled this all right.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: Yeah, she doesn't want to come off as a gossip.
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: You come off way.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: More and it's a hater. Yeah, that's what it is. Hey, sure,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: all right, we.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: Have time for another one, Steve. This is from EJ
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: on Facebook.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: EJ says, I recently started a new job and every
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: day the entire office goes out for lunch. Based on
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: the way they're chatting when they come back to the
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: office simultaneously, I assume they all go to the same
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: place together for the last two weeks, I was the
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: only person in the office at lunchtime. No one has
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: addressed the fact that the new guy is alone in
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: the office or mentioned anything to me about their lunch gathering.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: I feel really left.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Out, even more than I already was just being the
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: new Should I say something or just hope they eventually
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: warm up to me and maybe invite me to lunch.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Two weeks? Man, hu, you ain't been there for two weeks.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Hold on, man, let's let's let's just have a real,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: honest cons.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Okay, two weeks. I think they all got together and
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: they don't like you, and they talk about you at lunch. Yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: and he's in your ass. Ain't as because you're the subject.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: I don't know how you got the job, if you
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: replace the home girl and a homeboy or whatever or
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: something that happened. Man, they don't really care for you.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: You know you got the little new job. I'm the
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: only one in the office. You ain't hungry.
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: He has to bring his lunch every day.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Man, go down now, Hey, hey, hey, when it's time
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: for lunch, you be in the parking lot, sitting in
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: your car.
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: Where we going?
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Wherever they go down? Where you go. So you're saying
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: for him to follow them to the restaurant. Man pull
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: up a check, like, hey, thank y'all.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Man, I'm so glad y'all invited me because they ain't
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: gonna know who invited you.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Yeah, man, I so appreciate it. Man, God, dog, this
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: is nice.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: How I like not yours too?
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: War or give us an or or well what else
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: could he do?
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: You can steal everything in all you need paper clips
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: and papers and gone while they gone, you can clean up.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Why lose your job over paper clips?
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: But everybody has gone, they won't steal them.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: They won't know. Okay, So.
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: Not that ione that.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you're stealing off of supply the time or just
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: or just when they walk in everybody walk in, just
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: sit if they go where y'all being? Why didn't you
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: invite me? Advocate for yourself?
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: You?
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: Anybody bring Doggie back.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Home?
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: Thank you guys.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: up in twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Let's hear about this story.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: On Christmas Day, superstar Golfer Scottie Scheffler was making homemade ravioli.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: When he couldn't find the right kitchen tool to shape
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: the pasta, he decided to use an empty wine glass.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Of course, the glass broke and stabbed Scheffler in the hand.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: He underwent surgery and couldn't play golf in the first
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: two tournaments of this year. So why And what I
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: mean was that, what this is terrible?
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: You don't need to be in the kitchen at all
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: a wine glass to stir up some.
- 1:19:02Speaker 5: Past yeah, shape, yeah, to shape the homemade positive. Yes,
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: he turned upside down, that's what he was doing.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, though, Yeah, it's terrible. You guys ever do anything
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: crazy like this and get injured doing it.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I just cut.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I was at a golf place, man taking lessons, and uh,
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: somebody had gave me as a gift for arm a
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: Swiss army knife and I tape up two of my
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: fingers when I played golf.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I just do it because that's how Tiger do it.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: That's maybe I play like Tager.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Let me take me And I was cutting it with
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: the knife and split my middle finger. And I'm talking
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: about man, a deep cut and I could not stop
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: it from bleeding for hours, hours And this was last year.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: That's the dumbest thing I did, and it messed up
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: my golf lesson for the rest of the week. Wow,
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: because every time I held my hand down it and
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: and squeeze the club that it opened back up and
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: started bleeding. Dumbest thing I've done.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Coming up?
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: Hey, well, have a rounded would you rather? Right after this?
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have one over one
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety Awards from two thousand
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: and six to twenty twenty four.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: As of December twenty twenty.
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: Four, it's time now for a rounded Would you rather?
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: Who would you rather?
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: Win?
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: The Super Bowl? The Chiefs are the Eagles? There said
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: it put it out there.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Really Philly Oh, I'm pulling for everything in me for Philly. Okay,
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: but now would I put some money on it?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Not a quarter? I ain't betting to geinst Patrick mahone
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: home is nothing. I'm so scared of him. He's the truth.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: That boy. Don't know him. He don't even know how
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: to lose. I'll be going, hey man, they came back
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: on Buffalo. They had fourteen seconds. Damn, come on, Philly,
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: come through?
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: Would you rather only play in the first three quarters
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: or just play the last play of the Super Bowl?
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: Would you rather only play the first three quarters or
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: just play the last play in the Super Bowl?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Or at the last play.
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: Last play, you'll go down in history, right, don't.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Don't give me the ball or nothing. I don't want
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: that just.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Somewhere out you know, cause they got an attitude when
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: you got the ball. M defense got an attitude. They
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: won't git back. They be trying to dislodge.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: No, you just ask me.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: You ain't got to knock it all out. You gotta
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: put your helmet all in my chests and stuff here,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: all right?
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: Would you rather your favorite team lose every time they
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: go to the Super Bowl or never ever make it
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: to the super Bowl?
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: Which one hurts more?
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna go with A. I'll go with a
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: at least getting there, at least we ain't being to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: the super Bowl. Wait a minute, whatever, I hope they
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: never what's the question?
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: Would you rather your favorite team lose every time they
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: go to the Super Bowl? So they do make it
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: to the super Bowl, but they lose every time? Or
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: would you never ever make it to.
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: The super Bowl? Would you be happy if your team
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: just never ever made it? Would you rather that?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: CD? Right here?
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: They ain't suffered long as me. So they here talk
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: about Yeah, maked tit super Bowl making making?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Oh, now you're the Buffalo bill man. The Buffalo Bills man.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: They went to was it full.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: Super Bowls in the rown yet?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: And lost all four? Going we're not going to.
- 1:23:17Speaker 5: That's your answer?
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Be what is we talking about?
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: For?
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: Would you rather accidentally call your current partner by your
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: ex's name or would you rather them call you by
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: their partners?
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I'm not calling my wife her name, Junior. No timing,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: I'm just with timing. Yeah, just call me whoever, y'all stupid? Sorry,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: we got to go.
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: Coming up next. We'll close out the Show with the
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: one and Only Steve Harvey.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Right after this, Let's it's DJ call your boy Chris Broke.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: Hey, this is Keisha Cole Lost People, And this is
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: Kark Franklin.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Hey, this is John Legend. And you listen to the
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Mornings Show.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, who's
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: a Shirley Strawberry?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: And you know what it's like.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: You're driving around all over town and your schedule is
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: packed all day long. I mean you're booked and business.
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: That's when your me time becomes even more important. Well
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: what if your me time and you're driving around time
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: were the same in the all new twenty twenty five
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Nissan Morano.
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: There it can be. I mean the Morano was.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: Literally designed to help you relax. We're talking about ambient
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: mood lighting and over sixty four different colors and a
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Bose Premium sound system playing all your favorite music so
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: you can just dive up the music and the lighting
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: to sect whatever vibe you want. And just like that,
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: you created your own personal oasis and you're still getting
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: everything done. That's your crazy day dictates. I mean it's
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: not often that productivity and relaxation intersect, right, but they
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: certainly do. And the all new Morano because no amount
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: of rushing around is going to get you down when
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: you're chilling. And a morano check it out for yourself,
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: should be only twenty five. And he's on Morano today,
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: and be it. Lighting in boats are optional, teacher. All right, guys,
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: this Tuesday.
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: The way things are going nowadays, you know, the election,
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: the presidency, the economy. Are these new tariffs? Are all
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: these troops heading down to the border. Are they getting
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: rid of DEI? They're getting rid of the sixty four
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: Civil Rights bill? You know, really, of all of the
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: ones that's happening. You know, this civil rights bill. That's crazy.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: So you think it'd be best to resind the fact
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: that you all tried to make up for all the
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: wrongs that have been done by giving some type of
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: civil rights. Why is it that we live in a
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: country that can make a decision that people of color
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: should have civil rights? What happened to your constitution that
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: everybody has the right to the pursuit of happiness?
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: What happened to that?
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: But you then told us that we don't even have
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: the right to civil rights, that you no longer have
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: to treat us in a civil way and get right
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: on back to what America used to do. Just stepping
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: on folks. You know what. But what I'm not going
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: to do for four years on this radio is complain.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: And I suggest everybody understands something. Get yourself together. If
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: you ain't ever had an attempt to turn yourself into something,
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: I think you better get to doing it now. I'm
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: not saying everybody got to go out and open a business.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: That's not what I'm saying. But I'm talking about really
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: really get yourself together spiritually and mentally. You have got
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: to get yourself together spiritually and mentally. You've got to
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: develop the right attitude to and do it this next
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: four years, and you need your spirituality to do it.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: What kind of money you make, that's up to you.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: What decision you make about your income, that's up to you.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: You know, some people are trying to figure out ways
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: and how to cut back. Other people are trying to
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: figure out how to make more.
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: The only thing with cutting back is now, I can
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: understand cutbacks if you've started to live beyond your means.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: Then you got to get back down within your means,
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: so it's not so stressful. But that's normally what happens.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: Once you get outside of your means, you run the
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: credit cards all the way up, you find yourself totally
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: in debt and you're struggling to make your bills because
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: you've got too many bills. Then you know, cutting back
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: might have to be a consideration for you, or you
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: could be of the other mind said, if you're an entrepreneur,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna make more money to deal with this, because
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: I heard somebody say to me one time. They said, hey, man,
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: why would I give back a blessing God gave to me.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: I'm not cutting back nothing, I'm gonna go make more money. Well,
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: that's an entrepreneurial spirit. Everybody's not an entrepreneur. The majority
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: of people have jobs, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: It's absolute. Some of the best people I've ever met
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: in my life are just hard working, job holding people.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Is nothing wrong with that. Man, My father was that,
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: so I've had nothing but a prime example of that. So,
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: whatever the case may be, you got to get yourself
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: mentally prepared to deal with this, and the best way
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: to get mentally prepared is get your spirituality together.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: I had to get up and watch an episode of
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: About Anxiety with Joel Goldstein this morning because I was
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: I didn't sleep well last night because I did what
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: I tell people not to do all the time. I
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: was worried about something I had no control over. But
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: I'm human, I'm human, and it was the last thing
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: I was thinking about and talking about last night. So
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: oftentimes that's the thing that will keep you up at night.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: If you go to bed on the negative subject, you
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: probably gonna have some negative thoughts. And that's what happened
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: to me. But I had to get up this morning
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: and cut on Joel O's dey and I just said,
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: I just need an answer. And you know what anxiety
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: is when you're troubling and worrying yourself about something you
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: have no control over. And those two things are normally
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: your future or your past. And I was worried about
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: something in the future that I have no control over.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: But then I had to remind my wife told me
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: last night on the phone. She says, Steve Harvey, take
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: your own advice. When God closes a door, when the
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: door's closed in your face. Don't stand that beating on
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: that door.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Walk up the hallway. There are more doors.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Don't you ever give nobody the power to think that
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: because they then shut a door in your face, that
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: they got control of your destiny. They are not the
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: author or the architect of my future. I have given
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: that sole control to God. So I had to remind myself,
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Steve Harvey, you trip it, Walk up the hallway.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: They have no idea. They didn't make me. There's no
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: breaking me, there's none of that.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: Stay on your journey, wake up on this radio in
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: the morning, and get back in the uplift business. You know,
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I got an enemy out there, and they're in the
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: taarown business, and I got to remember not to try
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: to combat that because I'm in the uplift business. My
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: enemy is in the tab people down business. I'm in
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: to try to improve people business. Why would I get
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: in the same business here trying to combat him when
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: clearly we stay. We play in two different leagues. And
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: I'm not really good at quoting rap records, but I
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: heard Jay Z one time say something to the effect,
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: we in two different leagues, Homie, We're shooting at two
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: different baskets. As a matter of fact, me and you
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: we pay two different taxes. Shoe State warn.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Hey y'all have a great day to day. We talk
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: to God.
