- 1:47Speaker 4: w the water up looking?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on your.
- 2:01Speaker 8: Uh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening
- 2:05Speaker 8: to the voice? Oh, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 8: and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show, borl
- 2:14Speaker 8: borl boy. I can't even tell you man. I've been
- 2:19Speaker 8: doing some thinking and and one of the things that
- 2:23Speaker 8: I wanted to mention today to you as one of
- 2:26Speaker 8: the principles of success, being grateful at all times is
- 2:34Speaker 8: difficult to do. Being grateful at all times is very
- 2:42Speaker 8: difficult to do. I find that to be true with myself.
- 2:47Speaker 8: Now there are others that might be able to do it,
- 2:49Speaker 8: but just from talking and listening and living and learning,
- 2:55Speaker 8: being grateful at all times is difficult to do. But
- 2:59Speaker 8: it's not necessary because it's such an act of faith
- 3:05Speaker 8: in knowing that no matter what's going on, it's going
- 3:09Speaker 8: to be alright, And it's hard to see that when
- 3:14Speaker 8: things are not going in your favor, when things have
- 3:18Speaker 8: turned so dramatically the other way, and it seems as
- 3:22Speaker 8: though you're the only one in the situation where you're
- 3:26Speaker 8: involved with other people, or someone got an accusation against
- 3:30Speaker 8: you falsely, or somebody trying to do something to you unjustifiably,
- 3:34Speaker 8: whatever the case may be. When it's happening to you,
- 3:39Speaker 8: it does appear to you that, oh, my goodness, man,
- 3:44Speaker 8: this is horribly one sided.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So it is difficult.
- 3:48Speaker 8: It's hard to do to be grateful at all times,
- 3:52Speaker 8: but it's so necessary.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And I just want to point out a couple of
- 3:56Speaker 2: things to you.
- 3:58Speaker 8: First of all, the difficulty in being grateful in hard
- 4:02Speaker 8: times is that number one, the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's
- 4:09Speaker 8: just so pressing and so overwhelming that a lot of
- 4:13Speaker 8: your energy is devoted to trying to come up with
- 4:16Speaker 8: the solution for that, or trying to muster the strength
- 4:20Speaker 8: to whether the storm, or trying to just brace yourself
- 4:23Speaker 8: to try to get through it, and in doing that,
- 4:27Speaker 8: you don't It's hard to be grateful. It's hard to
- 4:31Speaker 8: be grateful in pain, and I know it is but
- 4:35Speaker 8: here is the trick for me. This is what I've
- 4:39Speaker 8: had to learn how to do, and I guess it
- 4:43Speaker 8: takes practice to get here. It's not nothing you just
- 4:46Speaker 8: start doing right away. You got to practice it in
- 4:48Speaker 8: small increments to really get it. What I've always had
- 4:52Speaker 8: to say to myself and what I've learned to say
- 4:54Speaker 8: to myself is this is happening to me because God
- 5:00Speaker 8: working me through something. This is happening to me because
- 5:05Speaker 8: it's some form of tests that I have to pass
- 5:08Speaker 8: in order to graduate to the next grade, and that
- 5:11Speaker 8: in order to be allowed to move to the next level.
- 5:14Speaker 8: This is happening to me because there's something I need
- 5:19Speaker 8: to purge my life, of my body, of my spirit,
- 5:23Speaker 8: of something's purging in me. And when you purge something,
- 5:28Speaker 8: it's it's painful. You know, It's like a person getting
- 5:31Speaker 8: off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've been told and
- 5:37Speaker 8: every documentary I've ever watched it it's an agonizing process
- 5:42Speaker 8: to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to pull away after
- 5:46Speaker 8: you've been doing something so long. And so I know
- 5:50Speaker 8: that this process is tough when you're going through some pain,
- 5:56Speaker 8: But when you're purging your system, when you when when
- 6:00Speaker 8: you're having to pass a test, when you're about to
- 6:04Speaker 8: make when you're being made ready for the next level,
- 6:09Speaker 8: that moment right in there, in realizing that that's what's happening,
- 6:13Speaker 8: that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 2: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm.
- 6:18Speaker 8: Explaining this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it.
- 6:21Speaker 8: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:27Speaker 8: of it is.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Is that.
- 6:30Speaker 8: God has never left me in all the things I've done,
- 6:34Speaker 8: in all the mistakes I've made, all the lies I've told,
- 6:39Speaker 8: all the situations I've gotten myself into from being greedy
- 6:43Speaker 8: and warning too much for me at the expense sometimes
- 6:50Speaker 8: of other people, not doing it deliberately or in a
- 6:55Speaker 8: vindictive way, because I've never had that spirit. I'm not
- 6:58Speaker 8: a vindictive or a mean person, but sometimes in my life,
- 7:04Speaker 8: in wanting to do what I wanted to do, I
- 7:07Speaker 8: didn't totally weigh out the cause and effect of the
- 7:10Speaker 8: other person. I mean, can I just be real with
- 7:13Speaker 8: you with that? I mean, how many times we'd ben
- 7:16Speaker 8: all done that? Look, it doesn't it don't make you
- 7:18Speaker 8: a bad person. You know, good people do bad things
- 7:23Speaker 8: all the time. I just happened to have come to
- 7:26Speaker 8: the realization that unknowingly and not and not with malice
- 7:34Speaker 8: intent towards a person, I've hurt people looking at something
- 7:39Speaker 8: I wanted to do without really looking at what the
- 7:44Speaker 8: cause and effect would be on the other person. So
- 7:48Speaker 8: in doing some of these things, I've created situations for myself.
- 7:52Speaker 8: But God, through his grace and mercy, has allowed me
- 7:56Speaker 8: to even get beyond that. So when I'm saying that God,
- 8:00Speaker 8: God has never left me in spite of myself, He's
- 8:03Speaker 8: always gotten me through. So that's the other part of
- 8:07Speaker 8: it too. See that no matter what you're going through,
- 8:10Speaker 8: you've got to understand that God has always gotten you
- 8:13Speaker 8: through it now has any Now that may not be
- 8:15Speaker 8: the way you want it or the way you liked,
- 8:17Speaker 8: but guess what, you can't do wrong and not pay
- 8:20Speaker 8: for that. Now that that's not how this works. That's
- 8:23Speaker 8: never going to be the case. But the great thing
- 8:26Speaker 8: about God is he fires warning shots at us all
- 8:29Speaker 8: the time. He gives us an opportunity to stop. You know,
- 8:33Speaker 8: He don't fully punish us right away every time we
- 8:35Speaker 8: do something wrong.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Now does it?
- 8:38Speaker 8: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:41Speaker 8: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 8: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 8: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 8: not perfect. I know we all sinners down here, so
- 8:53Speaker 8: I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time, I know
- 8:55Speaker 8: you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 8: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 8:59Speaker 8: supposed to. I know you got with her when you
- 9:02Speaker 8: know you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got
- 9:05Speaker 8: with him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So
- 9:07Speaker 8: I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm a fire
- 9:08Speaker 8: warning shot, and maybe you'll slow your roll this time.
- 9:12Speaker 2: But we keep on though. See see, see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 2: See we just.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Keep on and then the next thing, you know, we
- 9:19Speaker 8: get caught. Now, Oh Lord, have mercy, I won't out
- 9:22Speaker 8: of this.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 8: Well see, you done dug this hole pretty deep, and
- 9:26Speaker 8: he gonna get you out. But it's some things that's
- 9:28Speaker 8: got to go down now because you didn't pay attention
- 9:32Speaker 8: to the warning shot. See, had you stopped the first time,
- 9:34Speaker 8: you felt bad about it and said you wasn't gonna
- 9:37Speaker 8: do it no more. The situation wouldn't be as critical,
- 9:39Speaker 8: but because we don't stop, and we go again.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But God always forgives, He always allows us to get
- 9:48Speaker 2: back up again. He always gives us a mercy, He
- 9:53Speaker 2: always gives us his grace. He always does that.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You're listening morning, ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. Rabbit hunters,
- 10:08Speaker 9: squirrel chasers, bird feeders, giraffe watching, zoo attendees, Disney lifetime
- 10:18Speaker 9: membership people, reporters, influencer of any kind, sick people here, check, teachers, yay.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Wastewadish men, control, truck.
- 10:37Speaker 8: Drivers, ober, whoever.
- 10:40Speaker 2: You are to need some uplift this morning. We are
- 10:43Speaker 2: here for you. We are here for you.
- 10:46Speaker 8: And now for those of you that are over eighty
- 10:48Speaker 8: years old, here's a little something for you.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I'm I'm climbing up on the rough side.
- 11:00Speaker 10: All the mountainy day.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm cloud high man up.
- 11:14Speaker 8: Really, Lord, that's a little something for everybody this morning.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Welcome to the Sevevolvet Morning Show.
- 11:19Speaker 11: Everybody, get your attitude together, get your gratitude together, get
- 11:23Speaker 11: your altitude together. But it starts with gratitude that affects
- 11:26Speaker 11: your attitude, that has direct correlation with your altitude.
- 11:29Speaker 2: That's what we do in this show stars some very
- 11:32Speaker 2: capable people.
- 11:33Speaker 8: Shirley Strawberry calling from real Mouth to the South Mississippi,
- 11:36Speaker 8: Monica kill Space. They call it Junior and the legend
- 11:39Speaker 8: that is Nephew Tommy Junior. Yes, what today's great tale?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yes? Uncle, let me ask you something? Could it be? Now?
- 11:48Speaker 2: You know you give your st you be hard on yourself.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Do you give yourself enough critic I know a lot
- 11:53Speaker 2: of people.
- 11:54Speaker 12: Yeah, you know, that's the thing I'm thinking about because
- 11:56Speaker 12: I thought about where I'm at today and my birthday
- 11:59Speaker 12: coming up, and do I give myself enough credit for
- 12:02Speaker 12: what I do?
- 12:03Speaker 8: I think I should be doing something more. Well, the
- 12:07Speaker 8: problem with us is we are always in chase mode
- 12:12Speaker 8: and we're not enough in gratitude mode. And I'm guilty
- 12:17Speaker 8: of the same thing because I'm extremely hard on myself,
- 12:20Speaker 8: and people around me have to tell me all the time,
- 12:23Speaker 8: you trip it, you need to slow down, you need
- 12:26Speaker 8: to enjoy your life a little bit more because of
- 12:29Speaker 8: the work you put in and you've done. But that
- 12:32Speaker 8: comes from not enough gratitude. And I'm very guilty of
- 12:37Speaker 8: this myself to you because see, we're so busy in
- 12:40Speaker 8: the chase game that we fail to realize how much
- 12:44Speaker 8: we done caught.
- 12:46Speaker 2: See, you've been chasing, but you also been catching.
- 12:49Speaker 8: And when you fail to realize how much you've caught,
- 12:51Speaker 8: your focus is on the chase, and then you lose
- 12:54Speaker 8: the gratitude of what you've caught. So you as your
- 12:57Speaker 8: birthday approaches and you realize eyes that I am not
- 13:01Speaker 8: where I want to be, But can you not also
- 13:04Speaker 8: realize that you ain't where you was?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yes?
- 13:08Speaker 12: Shirts, well, amen, I'm sorry.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You need to go somewhere and sit down. Man, shut up.
- 13:19Speaker 8: More, because I all you gotta do is think back
- 13:21Speaker 8: when it wasn't going this well? All right, All more
- 13:26Speaker 8: gratitude affect your attitude, which is new direct correlation with
- 13:32Speaker 8: your altitude. See y'all right, come back from Morning Steve
- 13:34Speaker 8: haf mort Show. Right after I got Hirley, don't even
- 13:37Speaker 8: worry about it.
- 13:37Speaker 2: A couple of prank phone call.
- 13:40Speaker 13: Oh god, you're listening hard Morning show.
- 13:45Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for the nephew to
- 13:47Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got for us today?
- 13:49Speaker 7: Nast jobell spirit, take your time, cat dog, let's go.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach us to Alicia All right,
- 14:04Speaker 5: all right, all right. You may not know my boy,
- 14:06Speaker 5: but I'm sure you probably know me if you saw me.
- 14:07Speaker 5: But I'm I'm brother Greg.
- 14:09Speaker 14: At the church. Okay, how you doing.
- 14:13Speaker 5: I'm good, I'm good. I'm sorry to disturb your evening.
- 14:16Speaker 5: I wanted to reach out to you the uh, you know,
- 14:20Speaker 5: the workers at the church.
- 14:21Speaker 14: We had a meeting.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Uh, a lot of the deacon's and the sisters at
- 14:28Speaker 5: the church the have come to uh had a meeting,
- 14:32Speaker 5: and I wanted to give you a call. Not Melanie, Melanie,
- 14:38Speaker 5: that's that's that's your sister, right, yeah, that's my sister.
- 14:41Speaker 6: That's my baby sister.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Okay, all right, well now we got a bit of
- 14:46Speaker 5: a problem, but uh uh they felt that it would
- 14:51Speaker 5: be best for me to call you and discuss it
- 14:54Speaker 5: with you and and let you know.
- 14:56Speaker 14: What the.
- 14:58Speaker 5: You know what they have agreed upon. I'm just basically
- 15:01Speaker 5: the messenger and I'm just calling you to give you
- 15:03Speaker 5: the word of what's going on.
- 15:06Speaker 15: Okay, brother Greg, Right, yeah, Brother Greg Grig agree.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Your wife is in the choir, right, uh yeah?
- 15:16Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 16: Like then okay, okay, I know, I think I know.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, okay, all right, Well like I said, Sister Alicia,
- 15:26Speaker 5: what the officials of the church are saying is that
- 15:29Speaker 5: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 15:34Speaker 5: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 15:40Speaker 5: and your your sister Melanie, and they're saying she's having
- 15:47Speaker 5: and had an affair with having an affair with pastor not. I'm,
- 15:52Speaker 5: like I said, I'm just the messenger.
- 15:55Speaker 15: Okay, So why are y'all calling me about something Melany
- 15:59Speaker 15: doing well have to do with me?
- 16:02Speaker 5: Like, like I said, the officials had a meeting, and
- 16:06Speaker 5: what they're saying is this is nothing but a Jezebel spirit.
- 16:12Speaker 16: And what they don't wait, wait, wait a minute, now,
- 16:15Speaker 16: you be a rude.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Now come on, and.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Okay, I'm gonna hear you out.
- 16:20Speaker 14: Now you just hear me out.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Now. They're saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and
- 16:26Speaker 5: they would rather all of the family not be welcome
- 16:33Speaker 5: at the church anymore.
- 16:36Speaker 15: Okay, First of all, where are you delivering a message
- 16:40Speaker 15: to me about my sister?
- 16:42Speaker 14: If you have a problem with my sister.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Seems like you will be calling my sister.
- 16:48Speaker 14: Now we shoe step for people.
- 16:49Speaker 5: So why are you calling me about my sister about
- 16:53Speaker 5: a rumor.
- 16:55Speaker 16: And now you say, y'all don't want me in the church.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Is that what you're saying.
- 17:01Speaker 14: For the entire family?
- 17:04Speaker 5: So if you got some brothers, sisters, auntie, they won't
- 17:09Speaker 5: because they evidently all of the ladies in the Tompson
- 17:12Speaker 5: family much hell sometype of Jezebel spirit and they don't
- 17:16Speaker 5: want to wait.
- 17:17Speaker 16: Wait, wait, wait a minute. Now, you just like I said, now,
- 17:20Speaker 16: be mindful who you're speaking to.
- 17:23Speaker 14: Calling somebody a Jezebel.
- 17:26Speaker 15: What you can't do is call somebody and accuse somebody
- 17:31Speaker 15: and then call them a derogatory word.
- 17:33Speaker 17: Talk about somebody a Jezebel and a Jezebel.
- 17:35Speaker 14: Now you're being ruth sir.
- 17:39Speaker 5: It's a jezabel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 17:42Speaker 14: Okay, that's got to be the most asonine, foolish.
- 17:45Speaker 3: And that's I have ever heard in my life.
- 17:47Speaker 16: Who done that?
- 17:48Speaker 8: Who are you to call me?
- 17:51Speaker 16: Don't ask me no like that?
- 17:53Speaker 12: You call me all like some hoosh who they.
- 17:56Speaker 14: Got a Jezabel?
- 17:57Speaker 12: Sir?
- 17:58Speaker 3: That's how I call somebody.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Kids, Come you got a bad mad kid?
- 18:00Speaker 2: Does your mama a Jezebel?
- 18:02Speaker 5: Still, don't wait, wait a minute, I just did your mama?
- 18:06Speaker 14: Does your red lipstick where white? Out of Jezebel's speir,
- 18:10Speaker 14: I'm asking you who your ass?
- 18:13Speaker 2: That's what's gonna happen.
- 18:14Speaker 18: You gonna mess around and.
- 18:14Speaker 15: Get your ass whip and get drug through the damn pool,
- 18:17Speaker 15: kids around with the top.
- 18:19Speaker 5: Well, as of right now, the family can't come to
- 18:22Speaker 5: the church.
- 18:23Speaker 15: You think we want to be around a church that
- 18:25Speaker 15: got people cons up asking me, I show, damn.
- 18:28Speaker 14: Do I have a Jezabel?
- 18:32Speaker 5: But you never answered the question do you have what?
- 18:35Speaker 3: I might have?
- 18:36Speaker 16: A ring hab fear?
- 18:37Speaker 14: Now you know she was a good in the Bible.
- 18:40Speaker 18: Now I've remember this day.
- 18:41Speaker 8: In church for the last eight year.
- 18:42Speaker 14: I don't say plenty of time to this damn church.
- 18:45Speaker 3: And if attack the problem with me, do tell fact
- 18:49Speaker 3: have a problem with me?
- 18:53Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 18:53Speaker 6: Uh huh.
- 18:54Speaker 14: Let me say this.
- 18:55Speaker 5: I'm gonna be before you.
- 18:57Speaker 12: Said another damn work.
- 18:58Speaker 5: You need to apologize and thinking like you got some
- 19:01Speaker 5: just okay, can I say this?
- 19:04Speaker 16: Go ahead?
- 19:05Speaker 14: Go ahead, I apologize.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Okay, I apologize because this is nephew Tommy from the
- 19:12Speaker 5: Steve Hallby Morning Show, and you just got pranked by
- 19:15Speaker 5: your sister Melanie.
- 19:19Speaker 18: I'm gonna kick you'll ass that.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Was Melanie ass the dad.
- 19:36Speaker 5: I don't know who the lady is in the choir
- 19:38Speaker 5: with the red listick of one day. I have no
- 19:41Speaker 5: earthly idea, all right, No josephel Spirits, none of that.
- 19:47Speaker 12: We all right, maybe maybe your rain half, like I said,
- 19:52Speaker 12: because you don't even more than one Bible, she did
- 19:54Speaker 12: good work.
- 19:55Speaker 14: For the kingdom, because you know I work for the kingdom, I.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Said, I have been. I've been a long time now. Wait,
- 20:08Speaker 5: oh god, I love church people, I love church peak. Hey,
- 20:11Speaker 5: let me ask yourself. What is the baddest radio show
- 20:14Speaker 5: with delay? Good morning show?

- 20:57Speaker 15: This one is from Dana in the bron Dana says,
- 21:00Speaker 15: I'm forty two and I just let my mother move
- 21:03Speaker 15: in with me, and it's already a problem. She drinks
- 21:06Speaker 15: a lot and has had men come by my house
- 21:09Speaker 15: all hours of the night to drink with her. One
- 21:11Speaker 15: of her visitors was coming out of my guest bathroom
- 21:14Speaker 15: the other day and I was still in my nightgown.
- 21:17Speaker 15: The guy propositioned me, and I was furious. I told
- 21:20Speaker 15: my mother she is not allowed to have men in
- 21:22Speaker 15: my home anymore. She said, I can't tell her what
- 21:25Speaker 15: to do? Well, how do I respectfully get my mother
- 21:29Speaker 15: in line while she's in my home?
- 21:31Speaker 2: See? How well you know?
- 21:34Speaker 8: See you can't tell her what to do in life,

- 21:56Speaker 8: Well, her mama got to go by the rules or else, Mama,
- 21:58Speaker 8: where you want to stay? But these men coming to
- 22:01Speaker 8: me properly, proposition to me and my own house, that's unacceptable.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I can't be in my home and be uncomfortable.
- 22:08Speaker 8: You can go out with me and just go meet
- 22:09Speaker 8: them at the tavern, because that's what they're out in tavern?
- 22:12Speaker 15: Do cavern?
- 22:14Speaker 18: At the tavern? Yeah, put a stop to that where
- 22:22Speaker 18: tavern always have some niceties.
- 22:27Speaker 15: Well, you can tell she's a nice woman because she

- 22:33Speaker 2: While you have to established rules. Yeah, and she can.
- 22:37Speaker 8: You can't tell her what to do, but you can
- 22:39Speaker 8: you can decide what happens in your house. You can't
- 22:42Speaker 8: tell her not to see me, but you can't see
- 22:44Speaker 8: them in here though.

- 23:08Speaker 15: When we checked in, the girl at the front desk
- 23:10Speaker 15: said welcome back and offered my girlfriend and I a
- 23:14Speaker 15: discounted massage because of her loyalty.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Point. I'm looking sideways at her all weekend. After that?
- 23:20Speaker 15: Do I question her about being a regular at this
- 23:23Speaker 15: hotel or do you think it will come out eventually?
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:28Speaker 8: Well no, dog, when you meet people, people have histories,

- 24:58Speaker 15: I'm dating a man that is married and his wife
- 25:00Speaker 15: is a lunatic. She's been knowing about us for a while,
- 25:03Speaker 15: so I'm shocked she still cares. I think she needs
- 25:06Speaker 15: to take all of her anger out on her husband
- 25:09Speaker 15: because he seeks me out, not the other way around.
- 25:12Speaker 15: I've had to get a restraining order on her, and
- 25:15Speaker 15: I had to put cameras on the front of my
- 25:17Speaker 15: house because I'm sure she was the one that tried
- 25:20Speaker 15: to slash my tires once.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I've asked her nicely not to bother me.
- 25:25Speaker 15: Would I be wrong to beat her ass one good time?
- 25:30Speaker 8: I'm surprised she ain't beat your ass one good time. Plus,
- 25:34Speaker 8: you the one in the room you're sleeping with this
- 25:37Speaker 8: woman's husband you're talking about.
- 25:39Speaker 2: He the one that seeks me out. He ain't got
- 25:42Speaker 2: to look.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Too hall right.
- 25:44Speaker 2: You're right, you're responding.
- 25:46Speaker 14: You know what I mean.
- 25:47Speaker 2: He seeks me out. You know well? Or well you
- 25:50Speaker 2: know you can put a stop to.
- 25:51Speaker 8: That, right, he seeks you out becauseless you're wanting to
- 25:55Speaker 8: be sought after.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Now a woman know about.
- 25:59Speaker 8: Y'allsh she might be trying to fight for her husband,
- 26:02Speaker 8: and yeah, she was one trying to sit your tied.
- 26:06Speaker 2: That ain't all. Should I beat her for?
- 26:09Speaker 8: What do you know that the prison time you could
- 26:12Speaker 8: do for that you sleeping with a woman's husband, and
- 26:18Speaker 8: now you won't do something to her because she over
- 26:20Speaker 8: there to get her husband.
- 26:22Speaker 2: That ain't how that's gonna work in the court of law.

- 26:41Speaker 15: and I moved to a different city after I divorced
- 26:44Speaker 15: their mom. I got full custody and I moved so
- 26:47Speaker 15: I would that I would have my family support raising them.
- 26:50Speaker 1: My toxic ex wife.
- 26:52Speaker 15: Has decided to move closer to us, and I don't
- 26:54Speaker 15: think she's fit enough to have visitation with our children.
- 26:57Speaker 15: I don't want to say what's wrong with her, but
- 26:59Speaker 15: she has some bad habits and our children are all
- 27:02Speaker 15: under ten years old. I can't stop her from moving closer,
- 27:05Speaker 15: but I can. But can I stop her from seeing
- 27:08Speaker 15: them at all? Will this impact my kids later?
- 27:12Speaker 8: I don't know because I'm not aware of the problem,
- 27:15Speaker 8: but I do know that in a divorce, they rarely
- 27:20Speaker 8: take a child away from a mother unless she's unfit.
- 27:25Speaker 8: They don't normally do that. Women got DIBs on them kids, man,
- 27:30Speaker 8: and so I don't know what she did that caused
- 27:32Speaker 8: the court to allow you to have full custody of them.
- 27:36Speaker 8: But if they did that, you can get some You
- 27:39Speaker 8: don't deny them visitation, but you can get supervised visitations.
- 27:44Speaker 2: That's for show.

- 40:57Speaker 12: That's why I always say that I'm always mad about
- 40:59Speaker 12: it was just something you said before, just about it that's
- 41:02Speaker 12: why your ass broke.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Now that's where you ask broke.

- 42:58Speaker 15: and the subject is it's ex wife wants to sleep over.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Oh it's not what you think. It's not what you think.
- 43:05Speaker 13: Can get your mind out of the gutter.
- 43:08Speaker 15: We'll get into it in just a little bit because
- 43:10Speaker 15: right now the nephew is here with today's frank phone call.
- 43:13Speaker 13: What you got for his nep.
- 43:14Speaker 2: This one It's called triple cat.
- 43:17Speaker 7: If three people pass and they can you know, the
- 43:21Speaker 7: family might not have enough money for all them cats
- 43:24Speaker 7: just one cat trip people one can't.
- 43:32Speaker 13: The concept this work.
- 43:35Speaker 16: Thanks the money mortuary. This is Calvin.
- 43:41Speaker 14: Help you.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Uh hey, how you doing? How you Calvin? How you doing?
- 43:44Speaker 7: My name is Brandon Man, Brandon Giles. H. I'm calling.
- 43:51Speaker 7: We've got somebody that has passed actually three people I
- 43:57Speaker 7: passed away. I thank you for that, man. It was
- 44:01Speaker 7: kind of expected. H. So you know, it wasn't something
- 44:05Speaker 7: that caught us off guard. But you know, but all
- 44:07Speaker 7: in all, you know, we're still grieving about losing our
- 44:10Speaker 7: loved ones. But uh, but I wanted to give you
- 44:12Speaker 7: all a call. We're trying to pick a particular funeral
- 44:16Speaker 7: home on who we want.
- 44:17Speaker 2: To uh take care of the services. Yes, yes, sir, yes.
- 44:22Speaker 16: Sir, okay, I can definitely help you with that, and uh,
- 44:27Speaker 16: once again, I just want to, you know, just let
- 44:29Speaker 16: you know that we can pretty much do the whole game,
- 44:33Speaker 16: that we can make sure that your need to take
- 44:36Speaker 16: them from you know, from from now on, We're here
- 44:40Speaker 16: for you. Wanting to get that out. Uh what is
- 44:42Speaker 16: your mean?
- 44:44Speaker 2: Uh?
- 44:44Speaker 16: You said three people.
- 44:45Speaker 7: Sir, Yes, yes, yes, okay, I wanted to bring attention
- 44:51Speaker 7: to you.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Do you guys customize caskets?
- 44:54Speaker 16: Yes, we do, gold plating, engraving. Uh even hap new
- 45:00Speaker 16: thing where we can put the picture of the person
- 45:02Speaker 16: on the outside like a semi gloss coding a couple
- 45:07Speaker 16: of hours.
- 45:08Speaker 7: Yeah, don't. I don't need that on no goal or
- 45:10Speaker 7: nothing like that. Listen, listen, what I want to do.
- 45:13Speaker 7: Is it any way that you could maybe uh customize
- 45:17Speaker 7: a casket that can accommodate three people?
- 45:22Speaker 14: Uh?
- 45:23Speaker 16: Yes, like we can we can customize each individual casket
- 45:28Speaker 16: for each individual.
- 45:29Speaker 2: No, no, no, Calvin, I ain't want to ask.
- 45:33Speaker 7: What I'm saying is if I want to, like like
- 45:35Speaker 7: I said, like I said, I could they was all close.
- 45:38Speaker 7: You know, I don't have a problem with all three
- 45:40Speaker 7: of them being in the same casket.
- 45:44Speaker 14: I get you.
- 45:47Speaker 16: Uh, you know, to my knowledge is as far as
- 45:49Speaker 16: I've been in this business, I've never Uh I'm not
- 45:53Speaker 16: really sure we can actually do that.
- 45:55Speaker 7: I mean what I mean, but what's the problem if
- 45:58Speaker 7: we can get them all in there and well.
- 46:01Speaker 16: Sir, I mean I think that's a I don't even
- 46:04Speaker 16: think if for one, it's legal in this state or
- 46:07Speaker 16: any state. Uh, three people in one casket and ethics wise,
- 46:12Speaker 16: I uh, that's not really something that can I say
- 46:18Speaker 16: that we actually, you know.
- 46:19Speaker 7: But if you customizing a casket, Calvin, then you ought
- 46:23Speaker 7: to be able to put as many people in there,
- 46:25Speaker 7: if you make it deep enough and wide enough, ought
- 46:27Speaker 7: to be get three people in there?
- 46:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 46:30Speaker 16: Well, the customization is is the outer side of the
- 46:35Speaker 16: casket and maybe you know some people even put TV
- 46:39Speaker 16: screens on the inside or some of their their their
- 46:42Speaker 16: loved ones, uh, memorable mementos. Uh, we customize it for that,
- 46:47Speaker 16: you know, color wise.
- 46:49Speaker 7: Uh so what about when when is a person real big?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Uh?
- 46:53Speaker 7: You know, a heavyset person. You know, you got to
- 46:55Speaker 7: have a casket that can accommodate the right. Yes, But okay,
- 46:59Speaker 7: so you want to be able to put you want
- 47:01Speaker 7: to be able to put three people in one casket
- 47:04Speaker 7: if they can fit, if you put two one way
- 47:07Speaker 7: and one other the other way, and you ought.
- 47:09Speaker 2: To be to have all three of them in there
- 47:11Speaker 2: at one time?
- 47:13Speaker 16: Is there anybody else around you and your family that
- 47:15Speaker 16: can help talk uh with me about this.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I'm talking right now.
- 47:21Speaker 7: I'm trying to get I'm trying to accommodate my clubs
- 47:23Speaker 7: and get them straight. And I'm asking you can we
- 47:25Speaker 7: get them in a casket, that one casket that can
- 47:28Speaker 7: accommodate three people if you put two pillows on money
- 47:31Speaker 7: in one. That's not something we're really Uh, that ain't
- 47:35Speaker 7: something you used to doing, cabin But I'm calling you
- 47:39Speaker 7: telling you that's the way I want this customize.
- 47:41Speaker 10: Man.
- 47:42Speaker 16: A brother, Look, brother, brother, just just chill out with customers,
- 47:45Speaker 16: all right.
- 47:46Speaker 2: So we're trying to get three people are Yeah, I.
- 47:49Speaker 16: Have a standard plan. It'll be a low end standard
- 47:52Speaker 16: plan for three individual caskets.
- 47:57Speaker 7: We ain't got we don't have enough money for three
- 48:00Speaker 7: individual caskets. I keep telling you that we got room
- 48:03Speaker 7: for one casket. We just need to big enough. Man,
- 48:08Speaker 7: you could get everybody in there and close the door.
- 48:10Speaker 16: I'm not good. I'm not I don't want to go
- 48:12Speaker 16: back and forth with you, sir. I know this is
- 48:13Speaker 16: a time and you.
- 48:15Speaker 7: Ain't gotta go back and forth with me. Buildings that
- 48:18Speaker 7: I need, I can bury my family.
- 48:21Speaker 16: I don't really know what to tell you, sir, But
- 48:23Speaker 16: I'm just really trying to help.
- 48:24Speaker 14: I'm trying to.
- 48:25Speaker 7: Don't you tell me you're gonna get three people in
- 48:27Speaker 7: the casket looking good that.
- 48:29Speaker 14: We cannot do that.
- 48:31Speaker 2: You out of that.
- 48:32Speaker 14: Man.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I'm the one going through bereathing.
- 48:34Speaker 16: I understand that, but you are, you're you use the
- 48:37Speaker 16: foul language.
- 48:39Speaker 7: We can't do it, brother, you hear me, No, no, no,
- 48:43Speaker 7: hold on, my cousin them said they wanted.
- 48:46Speaker 14: To use no, sir. No, okay, look.
- 48:51Speaker 7: Im, look man, man, y'all gonna bury these three people
- 48:54Speaker 7: and you gonna put all three of them in the
- 48:57Speaker 7: same damn casking man.
- 49:00Speaker 2: On one way on one end and one on the other.
- 49:02Speaker 5: One.
- 49:02Speaker 16: Man, sir, if you're a drinker, just stop.
- 49:05Speaker 7: I ain't nobody. Let me tell you something, man, let
- 49:07Speaker 7: me say this to you. What your name?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Calvin?
- 49:09Speaker 14: Right, yes, yes it is, sir.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Okay, so Calvi Calvin. Let me say this to you.
- 49:14Speaker 7: Either y'all gonna bury my cousins the way I want it,
- 49:18Speaker 7: or Calvin, you gonna get your who you talking to?
- 49:23Speaker 2: That's what's gonna now.
- 49:24Speaker 14: Now, no, now, that's it right there, sir.
- 49:26Speaker 16: I've been trying to be as professional as I can
- 49:28Speaker 16: this whole conversation is as crazy as it is.
- 49:30Speaker 14: But now I ain't nothing crazy. No, no, no, no.
- 49:33Speaker 2: You told you I want you to bear my cousin.
- 49:35Speaker 14: Come on down here.
- 49:35Speaker 16: I got some places to put your body and your

- 49:42Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 49:42Speaker 14: Because you you.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Know you don't sound too damn confident. You don't sound
- 49:47Speaker 7: too confident, Calvin.
- 49:49Speaker 14: I'm gonna tell you right now. I'm gonna tell you right.
- 49:52Speaker 16: Now, this ain't the place and I'm not the one

- 52:30Speaker 1: right now. Did you hear that?
- 52:31Speaker 2: Buggle up, Buckle up, and hold on tight. We got
- 52:33Speaker 2: it here. It is Strawberry letter.
- 52:36Speaker 13: Oh please, don't even try it.
- 52:38Speaker 15: Subject his ex wife wants to sleep over. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 52:44Speaker 15: I've been married for two years. When I met my
- 52:46Speaker 15: husband four years ago, he had just gotten divorced and
- 52:50Speaker 15: he was in a bitter custody battle with his ex wife.
- 52:53Speaker 15: His daughter is very sweet and she loved her dad,
- 52:57Speaker 15: but the ex wife is dead set on her not
- 53:00Speaker 15: having a relationship with her dad. When we met, he
- 53:03Speaker 15: had to limit communication with his ex because she told everybody.
- 53:07Speaker 15: He kept calling her to work things out, and he
- 53:10Speaker 15: wanted his family back. I never gave it any of
- 53:13Speaker 15: my attention, but it really bothered him. Now he only
- 53:16Speaker 15: communicates with her by texting, so she can't lie on him.
- 53:20Speaker 15: They have joint custody and he pays her child support.
- 53:24Speaker 15: She didn't like the amount of child support the judge
- 53:27Speaker 15: ordered him to pay, so he pays a little more
- 53:29Speaker 15: every month. Nothing he's done makes her happy thus far. Meanwhile,
- 53:34Speaker 15: we haven't had his daughter sleep over at our house
- 53:37Speaker 15: in two years. I thought maybe if I befriended his
- 53:41Speaker 15: ex that would help things out, but she told me
- 53:44Speaker 15: not to ever call her phone again.
- 53:47Speaker 1: A few months after that, she texted me.
- 53:49Speaker 15: To say her behavior was uncalled for and we could
- 53:52Speaker 15: be cordial, But that didn't last long. She continued to
- 53:56Speaker 15: deny visitation to my husband. We want to take his daughter,
- 54:00Speaker 15: who's twelve years old now, to South Carolina with us
- 54:03Speaker 15: for spring break. His ex wife said his daughter can't
- 54:07Speaker 15: go on a trip with us unless she goes too.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Same thing with weekend visits at our house.
- 54:13Speaker 15: If the daughter sleeps over, the ex wife has to
- 54:15Speaker 15: come too. I don't want this woman sleeping in my house.
- 54:19Speaker 15: My husband said it may be the only way for
- 54:21Speaker 15: him to enjoy time with his child. He is ready
- 54:24Speaker 15: to seek full custody. What would you do in this situation? WHOA,
- 54:30Speaker 15: I don't know, but I think you know that's a
- 54:32Speaker 15: good place to start. To go ahead and seek full custody,
- 54:36Speaker 15: go back to the court.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I think your husband is in.
- 54:38Speaker 15: A horrible position because you know, despite all the craziness
- 54:43Speaker 15: from his ex wife, he wants to see his baby.
- 54:45Speaker 15: Bottom line, he doesn't have many options because of this
- 54:49Speaker 15: ugly acting woman. She's evil, she's out of line, and
- 54:52Speaker 15: she's obviously a miserable, very bitter person, and she's abusing
- 54:56Speaker 15: her power and using her daughter, putting her daughter right
- 54:59Speaker 15: in the middle, using her as a pond, and that's
- 55:02Speaker 15: just wrong to do children like that. But on the
- 55:05Speaker 15: other hand, you, I think, are an angel. I mean,
- 55:08Speaker 15: you've been over backwards to be accommodating to this woman,
- 55:12Speaker 15: and that says you have love for your husband and
- 55:14Speaker 15: for his daughter, your stepdaughter. Your husband is the very
- 55:18Speaker 15: opposite of a deadbeat dad, doesn't fit that stereotype at all.
- 55:23Speaker 1: He pays more child support than the court ordered.
- 55:26Speaker 15: You can't get a lot of dads to pay even
- 55:29Speaker 15: the child's even anything, let alone more so, that's good
- 55:33Speaker 15: a father who wants to be a major part of
- 55:36Speaker 15: her life. The thing is, your daughter really is old
- 55:39Speaker 15: enough to choose for herself what parents she wants to
- 55:42Speaker 15: be with. She just can't because she's a minor. And
- 55:44Speaker 15: I feel sorry in that regard, because divorce is so
- 55:48Speaker 15: hard on children. I don't even understand why this woman
- 55:52Speaker 15: wants to stay in the house. Hmm.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Could it be that she still wants your husband? I
- 55:56Speaker 1: would say the answer to that is yes.
- 55:58Speaker 15: Does she want to make your life as a living
- 56:00Speaker 15: hell because she's so miserable and unhappy?
- 56:04Speaker 1: I think that would be a yes too.
- 56:06Speaker 15: But you know, you got to think about what's best
- 56:09Speaker 15: for the child and right now until he goes to court,
- 56:12Speaker 15: you know, I don't know. Could you guys get two
- 56:14Speaker 15: hotel rooms? Can you afford that? And uh, you know,
- 56:19Speaker 15: let the wife stand one and with the child and
- 56:22Speaker 15: you and the husband stand.
- 56:23Speaker 1: The other one. At least she won't be in your house.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 56:28Speaker 15: Maybe this will work out until he can get to
- 56:30Speaker 15: the court and fix it.
- 56:31Speaker 1: At least he can see his baby. Steve, I don't
- 56:37Speaker 1: really know.
- 56:37Speaker 2: What to say?
- 56:38Speaker 8: This a letter kind of stupid to me. I wouldn't
- 56:40Speaker 8: even rote in by just him. Well you met your
- 56:43Speaker 8: husband four years ago. The subject his ex wife wants
- 56:46Speaker 8: to sleep over? Sleepover where?
- 56:49Speaker 6: Whoa?
- 56:50Speaker 2: Whoa?
- 56:50Speaker 8: So this lady's writing his letter and she's talking about
- 56:54Speaker 8: her husband's ex wants to sleep over at their house. Yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 8: he got divorced. Bitter custody battle. Daughter sweet loves her dad.
- 57:07Speaker 8: Ex wife don't want them to have no relationship.
- 57:11Speaker 2: They met.
- 57:11Speaker 8: They had limited communication with his act because she told everybody.
- 57:14Speaker 8: He kept calling at work trying to work stuff out
- 57:16Speaker 8: because he wanted his family back.
- 57:18Speaker 2: She ain't paid no attention. So now he on the
- 57:21Speaker 2: community by Texas so she can't lowd. He paid child support,
- 57:25Speaker 2: she don't like the amount he paid. More don't nothing
- 57:28Speaker 2: make her happy? Now?
- 57:29Speaker 8: They ain't had his daughter sleep at their house in
- 57:32Speaker 8: two years. The reason I'm reading his letter again, it's
- 57:36Speaker 8: because I want you to see how some people use
- 57:42Speaker 8: children as ponds to get back at the other party
- 57:50Speaker 8: for whatever reason. We don't know why they divorced, but
- 57:53Speaker 8: obviously whether it was her fault, but it takes two
- 57:56Speaker 8: people to get a divorce. Somebody two people. Look, somebody
- 58:01Speaker 8: may initiate it wrong, but when you get a divorce,
- 58:05Speaker 8: two people did something that wasn't cool way you handle
- 58:08Speaker 8: it or something.
- 58:09Speaker 2: So it takes two people to get a divorce.
- 58:13Speaker 8: So you thought that you should be freeing this crazy
- 58:18Speaker 8: helpful He's a woman, she tried that don't care what
- 58:24Speaker 8: her baby think. But you think you gonna get her
- 58:28Speaker 8: to start making sense to you. She don't care nothing
- 58:33Speaker 8: about you because she don't care nothing about her child.
- 58:37Speaker 8: When you use a child as a pawn in the relationship,
- 58:41Speaker 8: the damage that you think you're doing to the other party,
- 58:45Speaker 8: whatever you're doing to the other party, multiply that by ten,
- 58:48Speaker 8: because that's what's happening with the child.
- 58:51Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hold that thought.
- 58:53Speaker 15: Okay, we're gonna have part two of your response coming
- 58:55Speaker 15: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 58:58Speaker 15: Letters subject his x Y wants to sleep over. We'll
- 59:01Speaker 15: get back into it right after this.
- 59:03Speaker 13: You're listening hard morning show.
- 59:07Speaker 15: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters
- 59:10Speaker 15: subject his ex wife.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Wants to sleep over?
- 59:15Speaker 2: What now? Who do that for? Who?
- 59:18Speaker 8: First of all, let's be real about this anybody gonna
- 59:22Speaker 8: let you. The ex wife state, this is this woman's house.
- 59:27Speaker 8: Ain't no woman letting your letting not her husband's ex
- 59:31Speaker 8: wife sleep over because she demands it. Yeah, it would
- 59:35Speaker 8: be different if some extreenuating circumstances they house burned down
- 59:40Speaker 8: and they needed a place to stay for a couple
- 59:42Speaker 8: of days.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Got that, But she won't let the baby come over.
- 59:46Speaker 2: They'all's house in for.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Two years and spend the night, and.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Spend the night. The daughter loves her daddy.
- 59:53Speaker 8: You try to befend, You try to befriend this crazy
- 59:57Speaker 8: woman that don't care nothing about her daughter. So now
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: she said they want to take the daughter, who's twelve
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: years old, to South Carolina with him for spring break.
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: His wife said his daughter can't go on the trip
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: with us unless she go too. We're not offinna pay
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: for you to come nowhere on spring break. Right, His
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: ex wife said his daughter can't go on the trip
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: with us unless she goes to same thing that we
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: can visit our house if the daughter sleeps over, the
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: ex wife has to come too. I don't want this
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: woman sleeping in my house. My husband said. It may
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: be the only way for him to enjoy time with
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: his child. He's ready to seek full custody. What do
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: you think of this situation? First of all, sir, you're
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: gonna have to find I know you want to see
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: your daughter, but that ex wife demanded to sleep over
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: the house.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: There's no reason that that should be the case.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: You've got to get a lawyer and get unsupervised visits,
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: and you've got to get weak in rights to your daughter. Now,
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: I don't know if they gonna give you full custody,
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: because for a court to take a child away from
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: a mother, you have to be an unfit mom. Crazy
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: don't count as unfit because she's not abusing the daughter.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: She just abusing the man, which in turn abusing the daughter.
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: Ain't no court fit to do that. But let me
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: tell you why you really can't have this hell at
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: your house.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Come on, let's just go over a couple of things.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Let's just start with number one, sleep over your house.
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: Wake up this crazy to hell for standing over you
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: with a butcher knife.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: That's just for start.
- 1:01:42Speaker 16: Ye.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: Now you walking all in the kitchen, her crazy ass
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: in there making sandwiches.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: This ain't your house.
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: You can't be in it doing this in here she
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: down steat and bought a load of clothes over She
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: downstairs washing the load of clothes. Your damn laundry mat.
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: Don't let this healler in your house. Knocking on the
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: bathroom door. You in there in the bathroom, She knocking
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: on the door. What's taking here so long?
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Her help? I need to get in there in your house.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: You and there, she rearranging furniture. I don't like the
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: sofa over here. I want it over here.
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: Oh sitting up in here, snatching remote out your hand,
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: making everybody watch forty eight hours.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Don't let this crazy help fit in your house. No, no,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: you go downstairs. She walking around with her bronz panties on,
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: talking about what you want? What you want? That walking
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: around the house, harmy?
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: What's she.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Gotta feel? You gotta feely?
- 1:03:05Speaker 21: Uh, gotta feely. Somebody's tried to sneak my friend.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Here, you know.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: Like that?
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: No, that's just crazy health in your house, being here
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: lighting candles and.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Stuff and little say in room, they all kind of stuff.
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: Go in that kitchen, she and that got two chicken
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: feet in there with a bird beak.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Oh lord, yeah, crazy, yeah. I feel badly for the
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: stupid man.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: But he has to go to court though and work
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: out something and get visitation and week ends. Gotta have
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: week ends with your child.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: They already have joint custody though.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: I mean, but see if she you can enforce the
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: joint custody. She can't make the rules of the joint
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: custody because her father hasn't been ruled unfit.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: So he has to have week ends.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: He's paying child custody, I mean child support. He should
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: have rights and a weekend with his daughter every other weekend.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: He's without the mama.
- 1:04:29Speaker 15: I have a question, So is it perhaps maybe spring
- 1:04:32Speaker 15: break is her week and she doesn't want to give
- 1:04:35Speaker 15: that week up, and that's why she's demanding to go.
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: No, this is not only the spring break. The girl
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: ain't been to the house in two years, so this
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: is way beyond the spring break. She won't even let
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: the daughter come to the house to see the man, right,
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: because she being funky because she bid her Yes.
- 1:04:56Speaker 15: Sir, and I can't stand when they use the children
- 1:04:59Speaker 15: as ponds, right, I'm in the middle child, Yeah, you're
- 1:05:04Speaker 15: hurting this child. She wants to see her dad, and
- 1:05:06Speaker 15: the dad wants to spend time with her, all right,
- 1:05:09Speaker 15: thank you all right. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry

- 1:05:35Speaker 12: that you have never seen in your life.

- 1:05:44Speaker 12: for instance, I've never seen a shade tree mechanic with
- 1:05:47Speaker 12: a car.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: That is running in perfect condition.
- 1:05:49Speaker 12: You ain't never seen. He gonna tell me everything wrong

- 1:06:08Speaker 3: He's another thing I ain't never seen.
- 1:06:11Speaker 12: I ain't never seen people in the South eat a
- 1:06:13Speaker 12: meal without rice. If it's chicken at rice, beans and rice,
- 1:06:18Speaker 12: why is rice over every plate?
- 1:06:21Speaker 16: Right?
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: Just right?
- 1:06:25Speaker 12: You know who I've never met. I've never met this person.
- 1:06:27Speaker 12: I've never met a well rested African mirror. I've never
- 1:06:30Speaker 12: met one. I ain't dog.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: I ain't never seen a well rested African American in.
- 1:06:37Speaker 16: This like that.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: Man? Oh man?
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: Job getting on my nerves? Wife, talking crazy to my kids.
- 1:06:43Speaker 12: Won't live man, I'm tired. I'm just tied.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: You ain't never seen that.
- 1:06:49Speaker 12: I've never seen a big person eat a meal without
- 1:06:52Speaker 12: a dia befage.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: I ain't never seen.
- 1:06:58Speaker 12: I love baby, yeah, hamn hock, you know, But then
- 1:07:03Speaker 12: a dying coke on the side, As if that's gonna
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: change something I have never seen.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I don't I know, I ain't gonna do it. I
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: ain't gonna get none of that.
- 1:07:14Speaker 12: No, come on, look, I'm not black funeral what there
- 1:07:19Speaker 12: is no clowning going on?
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Yeah, not one, not one. You ain't never seeing that.
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: Somebody gonna get cussed out in front of the castle
- 1:07:30Speaker 12: every time. These just things we've never seen. We ain't
- 1:07:37Speaker 12: never seen these things, Liz. I've never seen Christmas, Valentine's
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: and Halloween decoration being put up in the drug store.
- 1:07:45Speaker 12: You just show up one day and they all hang it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: You ain't never seen who hanging something. We don't know
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: who that is.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: I ain't never seen a white person still a bike
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: out of black.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: Neighborhoo, because they already are.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: I've been around the whole time, still waiting on that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. You're listening.
- 1:08:13Speaker 13: Morning show.
- 1:08:16Speaker 15: So I want to know what you'll be putting on
- 1:08:18Speaker 15: the grilled Steve and Tommy and Junior.
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: I don't.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I don't know if you could, but I.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: Know you'll be eating.
- 1:08:25Speaker 15: Yeah. In case you know, I need to stop buy
- 1:08:28Speaker 15: and get a plate.
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: I don't do that. You have fall I don't have
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: all off wax paper.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You have the pickout containers.
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: We don't have anything.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: We don't have none of that. So what are you
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: going to be?
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: We don't have people that do that. We don't know
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: people that come over beg.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Me do that?
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: What you're cooking ribs burgers, meat, meat, anything that is meat.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: I don't do fish on the grill. Don't ask me
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: for no fish.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You wouldn't grill a nice salmon steak put it.
- 1:09:13Speaker 9: On the What I do.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: All meats, baby smoke, regular rells, babybacks in them baby bags.
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: Now tell me that's what Junior's asking for that. I
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: can't do it because Junior's not. It has not convinced
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: me that he is a true barbecue ologist.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: And I'm scared that he don't miss.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: Sprinkle in my rub on ham sandwiches and putting it
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: on top of potato salad. Like I'm not finna do
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: this with juniors, you know, like it's some sprinkle or
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: something like that, Like it's Larry's Like you're just putting
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: it on everything, all on your French fries. We're not
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: finn to do that. And I'm putting a little bit on
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: the baked beans. You're not finna do that to my
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: damn rub hopping it off with everything. Yeah, oh, sprinkling
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: on top of stuff, It ain't got I put a
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: little bit on my slow What take my rib and
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: put it on nothing? So it's all meat of fair
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: Now that will be sides, ye talk about the sides.
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: The sides will be baked beans, corn slow corn on
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: the cob that the corn goes on the grill, but
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: it goes on the grill in the husk.
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: Well, why can't you do a fish on a plank
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: if you could do the corn.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: I just told you I don't do fish. Now, I
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: have two sons.
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: That's Uh, pescateer that only eat fish.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Steve, take a day off from it.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna try this chicken.
- 1:11:10Speaker 15: My girlfriend says she no longer eats land animals.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Will not be invited.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Oh she can come, but I don't know what she's
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: gonna do. She gonna eat because what is you we're
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: gonna eat? Add animals? It's some meat and them beans.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I don't know what she's gonna eat.
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: I don't know what she's gonna do. I don't eat
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: land animals. What what you're gonna eat? Add animals?
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: You know I ain't got no fu.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: You didn't say potato salad? You cooking potato salad?
- 1:11:39Speaker 12: Uh?
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: No, I kind of gave up on potato salad years
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: ago because a lot of people don't know how to
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: make potato salad. I don't really know how to make it.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: Marjorie make a good potato salad. But yeah, yeah, Marjorie, Mama, Lord,
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: Marjorie really is outstanding cook. Marjorie's outstanding. She thinks she
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: a better grilled personally. But I don't want to hurt it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: But she's gonna get cussed out if she say that
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: in front of somebody else again. That's what if she
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: talking about she can barbecue just as good as me.
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: She's gonna mess around and get a little self cussed out.
- 1:12:13Speaker 12: If that's what we're working on.
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm trying not to because I know that's what
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: that's gonna cost me. But sheep borderline getting cussed out.
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: If you tell one more person she can grill as
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: good as me, because.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: That's a damn lie.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: In here.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: A little Scott shrimp on skiers who do that.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: That's what I hear.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: A barbecue battle coming on a vegetables.
- 1:12:43Speaker 15: It all right, coming up, coming up in twenty minutes
- 1:12:49Speaker 15: after the hour.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:12:53Speaker 13: You're listening Harby Morning Show.
- 1:12:58Speaker 15: If your favorite part of vacation is getting on the plane,
- 1:13:01Speaker 15: you're in luck, all right. Engineers right now are working
- 1:13:05Speaker 15: on what they call a flying hotel that will allow you.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: To spend your whole vacation mid air.
- 1:13:11Speaker 13: Now, have you heard of this, Steeth?
- 1:13:13Speaker 15: Have you heard of anything like this?
- 1:13:15Speaker 16: Dy?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: See I knew all right.
- 1:13:19Speaker 15: A detailed mockup shows a massive, multi level plane that
- 1:13:23Speaker 15: could hold over five thousand people and stay in the
- 1:13:27Speaker 15: air for days weeks, or.
- 1:13:29Speaker 13: Even years at a time.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: The proposed is called a sky cruise.
- 1:13:33Speaker 15: It hopes to have luxuries like several swimming pools, restaurants,
- 1:13:37Speaker 15: and a shopping mall. It will be a nuclear powered plane,
- 1:13:42Speaker 15: so it won't need pilots, and it will be run
- 1:13:44Speaker 15: entirely by computers.
- 1:13:46Speaker 13: So my question to you is, would you do this?
- 1:13:49Speaker 15: Would you like to be thirty thousand dollars, thirty thousand
- 1:13:52Speaker 15: miles in the air, four or five for about a week,
- 1:13:56Speaker 15: feet thirty thousand feet in the air for about a week,
- 1:13:59Speaker 15: and you say they already have it, Steve, that's gonna.
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: Be hard on an airplane. I don't know how they're
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: gonna pull that off because the cabin pressure is not
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: really good for you for that long. For those long flights,
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: you do a lot of swelling and cabin pressure like that.
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: Now you're where your compression socks get to swim and cool.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: They already had get off.
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: You let it already hard to get on and off
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: you get we you're gonna have to cut them off.
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: I'm not gonna no half outand damn people though, all.
- 1:14:35Speaker 15: Right, we'll have more of the Steve Hardy Morning Show

- 1:15:53Speaker 14: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Because people down their profile. You who you? I'd rather
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: just go see it for myself than.
- 1:15:58Speaker 15: You and have the one do an emergency call if
- 1:16:01Speaker 15: you don't like the way they look.

- 1:16:06Speaker 8: I've actually been on the blind date so bad that
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: I acted as if I was blind?

- 1:16:15Speaker 2: You could see it? Then you wasn't.
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: And then soon as she walked up to the table,
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: I got him, snapped the chair leg off.

- 1:16:25Speaker 8: Way right out that day and walking.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: That didn't happen.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: As soon as you saw snapping, said damn.
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: Soon as she sat down, I stood nim snapped the
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: leg off. I start tapping my ass right out. It
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: wasn't table, egg wasn't long enough. I had to beard
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: over come little phrase.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: What is he doing? Huh?
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Are you on the way out?
- 1:17:02Speaker 12: You didn't touch nothing on the way because you can
- 1:17:04Speaker 12: see what you was doing.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: This fight. I kept looking for my dog.
- 1:17:17Speaker 15: I don't crazy, all right?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Would you right right?
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: Don't?
- 1:17:30Speaker 15: Would you rather compete in the summer Olympics or would
- 1:17:33Speaker 15: you rather compete in a Winter Olympics sport?
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: What the hell I'm gonna do in the winter sports?
- 1:17:40Speaker 15: Ice skaming tingly like lose.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: So I guess that's summer for the both of you.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: All right, thank you?
- 1:17:54Speaker 15: Coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:17:56Speaker 15: have our last breakup the day. And Steve Harvey are
- 1:17:58Speaker 15: fearless leader, the one and only.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Will close out the show right after this. You're listening.
- 1:18:05Speaker 15: Morning show, all right, see take us home with some
- 1:18:09Speaker 15: closing please.
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, I wanted to address men today and
- 1:18:20Speaker 8: just pay a compliment to men. I'm I'm talking to
- 1:18:24Speaker 8: men who who take the time out to be dads.
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: If you're a father, that's one thing. If you're dad,
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: that's a whole another thing. You know, any anybody can
- 1:18:38Speaker 8: father a child. You can commit an act of love
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: or act of lust and become a father, But it
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: takes another dude to become a dad. And I just
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: wanted to take some time out to recognize the dads
- 1:18:57Speaker 8: out there. You know, moms get a lot of the credit,
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: and as they should. I mean, being a mother is
- 1:19:06Speaker 8: something special. I think we all would agree to the
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: fact that a woman can have a child and give
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: birth to a human being. I mean that puts them
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: in a class of their own. We can't even begin
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: to compete or compare who we are and what we do,
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: but we.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Are valuable all the same.
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: And there are men out there who have taken the responsibility,
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: after they've become fathers, to become dads. And this tribute
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: is just to you, just to say thank you for
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: being dads, for taking the time to honor your commitment.
- 1:19:45Speaker 8: Understand that it don't always work out with the mother.
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: I do understand that, but it has got to work
- 1:19:53Speaker 8: out for the children. I'm so happy for the men
- 1:19:58Speaker 8: who fight the rule are the problems of the relationship
- 1:20:03Speaker 8: to still maintain a relationship with the child.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: That's so critically important, it really, really is.
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: I thank god for men who take the responsibility of
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: other fathers' children who have not, cannot or wont, for
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: whatever the reason is, take up the banner of being
- 1:20:30Speaker 8: a dad. There are a lot of men who have
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: stepped in and become dads and father figures for children
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: all around and because simply because their actual biological father
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: just ain't up to the task, for whatever the reason is.
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: But this ain't slamming nobody. I'm just saying thank you
- 1:20:51Speaker 8: for the dads who are dads. It has been an
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: honor to be a father and a dad. And I
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: want every man out there that's being a dad, that's
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: seeing about their kids in school, that's sending them text
- 1:21:06Speaker 8: that's checking on them, that's taking them to the park,
- 1:21:10Speaker 8: that's walking with them, that's holding their little girl's hand,
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: that's putting their arm around their son and offering them
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: leadership and guidance.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: That's going through all the things to.
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: Help provide the necessary tools for this young person to
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: grow up and feel the security of a man.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: It has been an honor for me to be a father.
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: Yesterday my daughters were born, Brandy and Carley, and they
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: grew me up quite a bit. They were twenty I
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: was twenty five years old when they were born. I
- 1:21:48Speaker 8: wasn't really equipped for the job fully, but they grew
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: me up. And ever since then, I have tried to
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: uphold my end of the bargain. I fall in short
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: sometimes I guess along the way, but at the end
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: of it, I always tried to make good on my
- 1:22:07Speaker 8: promise to them. I always tried to be the best
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: I could for them. And you know, everybody makes mistakes
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: in life. And once again, this ain't a slam on nobody.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: I'm just taking out the time to say to the
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: dads out there, thank y'all for being dads. For putting
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: it down. It is an honor to be a father.
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: It's a beautiful thing to see a man with his
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: child playing with the baby walking, They little girl holding
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: her walking these boys teaching them, throwing the ball with them.
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: You ain't got to have money to be a great dad.
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: Matter of fact, you don't have to have money at all.
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: You got to have love, you got to have some time,
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: and you got to have heart for it. And it's
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: a lot of men out there that's got the heart
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: for it. And I'm appreciative of that because oftentimes men
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: get a bad rap, but of good men out there.
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: It's a lot of good men that found a way
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: to take care of their children.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: There's a lot of.
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: Good men out there that have found a way to
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: take care of other men's children that ain't stepped up
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: to the plate. Like I said, for whatever the reason.
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: But this ain't really about them. This is about the
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: men who have given themselves unselfishly to children so that
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: they can say that's my daddy, that's my dad.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I mean, that's got to be a.
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: Reassuring feeling for a child and say I'm going and
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: tell my daddy.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Not that it's gonna get you in.
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: Trouble, it's just I got somebody that I think is
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: big and strong. And there's a lot of men out
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: there that's being their kids hero that maybe your kid
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: think you better than Superman or Batman, and that's what
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: it's all about.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: Man. You just want somebody to feel that way about you.
- 1:23:55Speaker 8: So, hats off to all the men out there that's
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: been being dads, that's been given it up. That's taking
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: care of your families, that's putting it in, that's providing
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: a place to stay, cars, protection, security, love, guidance, discipline.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: That's what fatherhood is about. That's what being a dad
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: is about. My hats off to all of y'all.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Happy Father's Day. Yeah, Father's days.
- 1:24:24Speaker 13: Every day he had.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Drop the mic, Steve.
