- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, So here's a story I gotta throw on
- 0:03Speaker 1: your radar screen, and it is one that is going
- 0:06Speaker 1: to yet again show you how corrupt the state sponsored
- 0:11Speaker 1: media was it trying to fix the last election by
- 0:14Speaker 1: straight up.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Lying to you.
- 0:17Speaker 1: New numbers from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics are
- 0:21Speaker 1: now showing eight hundred thousand jobs from last year that
- 0:28Speaker 1: the Biden administration claim they created never even existed. In fact,
- 0:35Speaker 1: the Biden administration routinely lied about job creation and then
- 0:41Speaker 1: would quietly revise them down time and time again. Later on,
- 0:46Speaker 1: the Biden administration and the media lied to all of
- 0:49Speaker 1: our faces.
- 0:50Speaker 2: And if you don't.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Believe me, let me remind you what Joe Biden said
- 0:53Speaker 1: the White House right before election day.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Asking for doing this, mister President.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Two questions the first Florida Senator, Marco Rubio described.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Today's job support is having faith numbers.
- 1:08Speaker 4: What do you make of that?
- 1:09Speaker 5: And how worried argue that many Americans are hearing that
- 1:13Speaker 5: the job's numbers aren't real.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Look, I'm gonna be very careful here. If you notice
- 1:23Speaker 6: anything the mega Republicans don't like they call fake anything.
- 1:30Speaker 6: The job numbers are. What the job numbers are, they're real,
- 1:35Speaker 6: They're since here what we are. And by the way,
- 1:39Speaker 6: just look at how the EU talks about us, how
- 1:41Speaker 6: they like to have an economy like ours. Just talk
- 1:44Speaker 6: about the rest of the world looks at us and
- 1:45Speaker 6: what we're doing. So well, I don't want to get
- 1:51Speaker 6: them going.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Now the President says that, and then the question we
- 1:54Speaker 1: all have to ask is, Okay, well, how big was
- 1:56Speaker 1: the lie? All right, well, let's look at now the
- 1:58Speaker 1: new data Labor Department is now admitting publicly hundreds and
- 2:04Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands of Biden jobs were actually fake, like
- 2:07Speaker 1: they just made up numbers to make you think the
- 2:11Speaker 1: economy was doing better than it actually was. The Biden administration,
- 2:16Speaker 1: for example, claimed to have added almost four hundred thousand
- 2:19Speaker 1: jobs from July through September of last year, but new
- 2:23Speaker 1: data released this week suggests none of those jobs ever existed.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Despite constantly gas lighting by the mainstream media, Americans knew
- 2:33Speaker 1: the economy was in poor shape, and these latest numbers
- 2:36Speaker 1: are proving it. Month after month, the government being counters
- 2:41Speaker 1: under former President Biden's published overly optimistic estimates for everything
- 2:48Speaker 1: from job growth to the size of the economy, only
- 2:51Speaker 1: to have those numbers routinely and quietly revised down.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Later every month.
- 2:58Speaker 1: The Bureau of Labor Statistics as the BLS produces estimates
- 3:03Speaker 1: for the number of non farm payrolls in the country,
- 3:07Speaker 1: as well as revisions for the last two months estimates
- 3:11Speaker 1: under Biden. Listen carefully, okay, these revisions were abnormal in
- 3:17Speaker 1: magnitude and direction, being revised down with unusual frequency. In
- 3:24Speaker 1: other words, they knew they were lying to you, and
- 3:26Speaker 1: they knew that the media would never tell you the truth.
- 3:28Speaker 1: While these monthly job reports are compiled from a survey
- 3:32Speaker 1: of over six hundred thousand businesses, of which fewer than
- 3:35Speaker 1: two hundred thousand are surveyed each month, but also the
- 3:38Speaker 1: BLS also publishes much much more comprehensive quarterly data called
- 3:45Speaker 1: Business Employment Dynamics that come from a census of over
- 3:50Speaker 1: twelve million businesses. Now that's over seventeen times a sample
- 3:54Speaker 1: size of the monthly jobs reports survey. Now, this is
- 3:58Speaker 1: obviously a more act curate database, and it was just
- 4:02Speaker 1: released by the BLS for the third quarter of last year,
- 4:06Speaker 1: which ran from the start of July through the end
- 4:08Speaker 1: of September. So guess what we found out in massive
- 4:11Speaker 1: stark contrast to the monthly jobs reports before election day
- 4:17Speaker 1: showing an increase of four in one thousand jobs during
- 4:19Speaker 1: the third quarter, these numbers and these new numbers show
- 4:23Speaker 1: a decline of one thousand private sector jobs, meaning they
- 4:27Speaker 1: literally created four hundred thousand jobs that never existed, just
- 4:31Speaker 1: to try to win the election you want to talk about,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I mean, and I go back to Democrats obsession with
- 4:39Speaker 1: Russian collusion and Ford interference in our elections. We didn't
- 4:42Speaker 1: have foreign interference in our election. We had the actual
- 4:45Speaker 1: government of Joe Biden that said we're going to influence
- 4:49Speaker 1: the election outcome by telling Americans that four inue thousand
- 4:52Speaker 1: jobs were created out of thin air that never were
- 4:54Speaker 1: and we knew it wasn't. Now, to be clear, the
- 4:58Speaker 1: monthly job reports and the data do not measure exactly
- 5:02Speaker 1: the same thing.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Okay, the BED data, for example.
- 5:06Speaker 1: We were talking about a moment ago, and the BLS
- 5:08Speaker 1: also published another data set called the Quarterly Census of
- 5:12Speaker 1: Employment and Wages. This is where it gets really good, folks.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Each of these reports excludes certain categories of jobs or
- 5:21Speaker 1: industries like railroad, government, self employment, agriculture, etc. That means
- 5:27Speaker 1: there can be relatively small deviations between these labor market
- 5:32Speaker 1: X estimates in the short run, but they trend very
- 5:35Speaker 1: well together over time. In fact, the more comprehensively quarterly
- 5:39Speaker 1: data are used to reevaluate the monthly jobs reports once
- 5:43Speaker 1: a year in a process called the annual benchmark. All right,
- 5:47Speaker 1: So you ready, This benchmark just twelve months of job
- 5:51Speaker 1: data to make them as accurate as possible, and always
- 5:54Speaker 1: covers a period from March of one year to March
- 5:57Speaker 1: to the following year, the fiscal year. In early twenty
- 6:00Speaker 1: twenty five, the BOS published the annual benchmark figures for
- 6:04Speaker 1: the period from March twenty three to March twenty four.
- 6:08Speaker 1: All right, The results are staggering, a drop of six
- 6:12Speaker 1: hundred thousand non farm payroll jobs, so to be clear.
- 6:17Speaker 1: In other words, the monthly reports had overestimated the number
- 6:22Speaker 1: of jobs during those twelve months of the election year
- 6:25Speaker 1: to favor Joe Biden and Kamwa Harris, and were revised
- 6:29Speaker 1: down now by six hundred thousand jobs. They made up
- 6:34Speaker 1: six hundred thousand jobs that didn't exist. And that's on
- 6:37Speaker 1: top of the individual monthly reports already being revised down
- 6:40Speaker 1: throughout the year long period in question.
- 6:43Speaker 2: So the downward revision of the.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Biden Harris Air jobs data are, by the way, set
- 6:50Speaker 1: to continue from March through June of last year. The economy,
- 6:54Speaker 1: they want you to believe, added three hundred ninety eight
- 6:56Speaker 1: thousand non farm payrolls according to the monthly report Sorts.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yet the BED data shows.
- 7:01Speaker 1: A net loss of one hundred and sixty three thousand
- 7:05Speaker 1: private sector jobs for the exact same period.
- 7:08Speaker 2: So add those numbers in you ready.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Instead of adding almost eight hundred thousand jobs during the
- 7:15Speaker 1: middle of last year, the economy actually shrunk in the
- 7:19Speaker 1: job market, shedding more than one hundred and sixty thousand jobs.
- 7:23Speaker 2: How did no on when the media cover this? How
- 7:26Speaker 2: is it they were able to get away with this?
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now the next annual benchmark will probably be a retroactive
- 7:30Speaker 1: reduction of jobs under Biden that exceeds this year's a
- 7:33Speaker 1: large downward revision.
- 7:34Speaker 2: We're also being warned.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So for four years, the Biden administration and the psychopaths
- 7:42Speaker 1: and our government and those in the state sponsored media
- 7:46Speaker 1: kept telling you that we had the strongest economy in history.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Remember when Joe Biden said over and over again, that's
- 7:51Speaker 1: why I played them earlier. Then they had statistics that
- 7:54Speaker 1: were paraded on the news to convince Americans not to
- 7:57Speaker 1: believe their lying eyes or their empty wallets. Voters, luckily
- 8:01Speaker 1: weren't fooled, at least not enough of them. That's why
- 8:04Speaker 1: they gave President Donald Trump an overwhelming victory in November.
- 8:08Speaker 1: He captured not only electoral collegey, including every single swing state,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but he also got the popular vote as well. And
- 8:15Speaker 1: the latest economic data vindicated the American people's judgment that
- 8:20Speaker 1: no number of platitudes from government bureaucrats or deceptive headlines
- 8:25Speaker 1: could fool families and believing their finances were in good
- 8:27Speaker 1: shape before November when they knew they really weren't. For example,
- 8:32Speaker 1: economic rhetoric couldn't paper over the reality that quote credit
- 8:37Speaker 1: card debt exploded to well over one point two trillion
- 8:41Speaker 1: from Americans being unable to make ends meet in the
- 8:44Speaker 1: Biden economy. Trump was elected to fix our finances and
- 8:48Speaker 1: that's why he won, which were much worse.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Than Biden or the media would ever admit.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So this was all a massive lie, and now we
- 8:57Speaker 1: have the data to prove it. Now, I wonder how
- 9:00Speaker 1: many people are going to go out there and write
- 9:02Speaker 1: stories and like just be honest, Like hey, we lie
- 9:06Speaker 1: to you, guys, or hey, they lied to you. The
- 9:08Speaker 1: government lied to you. Like it's really bad. Like I
- 9:12Speaker 1: doubt anybody will, by the way, I doubt any of
- 9:15Speaker 1: them will. That's my gut here. I doubt any of
- 9:17Speaker 1: them will. The Saudi Crown Prince is now saying he
- 9:23Speaker 1: is working to increase Saudi investments in the US to
- 9:27Speaker 1: not one billion, not one hundred billion, but one trillion dollars.
- 9:33Speaker 1: The President United States of America making this historic trip,
- 9:36Speaker 1: saying it's time for us to work with our allies,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and he says it's time for the US to remove
- 9:41Speaker 1: sanctions on Syria as well.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Now.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Syrians have endured brutal and crippling sanctions over the past
- 9:48Speaker 1: fourteen years. It's time to end them, is what President
- 9:51Speaker 1: Trump announced while in Saudi Arabia.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Quote.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I will be ordering the secession of sanctions against Syrian
- 9:57Speaker 1: order to give them a chance at greatness. That is
- 10:00Speaker 1: what the President said during the press conference. Trump said
- 10:04Speaker 1: Syrians have seen so much misery and death during a
- 10:07Speaker 1: years long civil war. He also agreed to end the
- 10:10Speaker 1: sanctions against Syria at the urging of the Saudi Crown
- 10:14Speaker 1: Prince and the Turkish President because there needs to be quote,
- 10:18Speaker 1: more stability in the region now. The sanctions targeted the
- 10:23Speaker 1: Hassad regime and served as an important function, Trump said,
- 10:27Speaker 1: but now it's time for Syria to shine. Obviously, as
- 10:30Speaker 1: Issad has fled the country and is now taking up
- 10:33Speaker 1: safe haven in Russia. The US designated Syria as a
- 10:37Speaker 1: state sponsor of terrorism in nineteen seventy nine, imposed sanctions
- 10:41Speaker 1: on the nation in two thousand and four and in
- 10:44Speaker 1: twenty eleven following the former Syrian president Assad's efforts to
- 10:49Speaker 1: end anti government protests. Sanctions imposed by the United States
- 10:54Speaker 1: deprived Syria of access to global financial systems and added
- 10:59Speaker 1: sanctions against this is the Asad regime. While the Syrian
- 11:02Speaker 1: civil war raged for several years now. The Biden administration
- 11:07Speaker 1: in November sanctioned a Syrian conglomerate after accusing it of
- 11:12Speaker 1: using ul revenue to fund a Rand's Islamic Revolutionary Guard
- 11:17Speaker 1: and COUD forces, as well as Huthi militants for attacking
- 11:21Speaker 1: US forces in the Middle East. Syria has endured civil war,
- 11:26Speaker 1: terrorism attacks, and secretary in warfare that included the Islamic
- 11:30Speaker 1: State taking control of parts of the nation in twenty
- 11:34Speaker 1: fourteen and beyond Western Powers. Afterwards, undertook a bombing campaign
- 11:40Speaker 1: to eliminate ISIS and restore full power to quote Syria.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Assad regime lost power in December when a militia took
- 11:49Speaker 1: control of the Syrian capital of Damascus and other parts
- 11:52Speaker 1: of the country. This happened mainly because the money wasn't
- 11:56Speaker 1: flowing in anymore from Russia. They couldn't handle it because
- 11:59Speaker 1: of their war they'd started and their invasion of Ukraine.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Now Syria's new president he was a former member of
- 12:07Speaker 1: al Qaeda who says he has reformed his ways just
- 12:11Speaker 1: so you know. Yes, it's complicated in the Middle East,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and the fall of Assage regime prompted the easing of
- 12:17Speaker 1: some US sanctions, but not all of them. The US
- 12:20Speaker 1: Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, will meet with Syria's new
- 12:24Speaker 1: foreign minister in Turkey later this week. Trump also said
- 12:28Speaker 1: to work out details. This announcement marks the president's first
- 12:32Speaker 1: of four days in the Middle East. He's also scheduled
- 12:35Speaker 1: to visit the United air of Emirates and Qatar. Now
- 12:38Speaker 1: back to what the President had to say at this visit.
- 12:41Speaker 1: At the stop on this this Middle East tour, Trump
- 12:46Speaker 1: also talked about Iran and saying that Iran can have
- 12:49Speaker 1: a much brighter future, but we will never allow them
- 12:53Speaker 1: to threaten.
- 12:53Speaker 2: America and or our allies.
- 12:56Speaker 1: He said this, making it clear as he's in the
- 12:58Speaker 1: Middle East, We're not screwing around.
- 13:01Speaker 7: But with that set Aaran can have a much brighter future,
- 13:05Speaker 7: but will never allow America and its allies to be
- 13:08Speaker 7: threatened with terrorism or nuclear attack. The choices there is
- 13:13Speaker 7: to make. We really want them to be a successful country.
- 13:16Speaker 7: We want them to be a wonderful, safe, great country,
- 13:20Speaker 7: but they cannot have a nuclear weapon. This is an
- 13:23Speaker 7: offer that will not last forever. The time is right
- 13:28Speaker 7: now for them to choose.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Right now.
- 13:30Speaker 7: We don't have a lot of time to wait.
- 13:33Speaker 2: We don't have a lot of time to wait.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That is part of the warning, clearly the President wanted
- 13:38Speaker 1: to make clear as he was doing this visit in
- 13:42Speaker 1: the Middle East.
- 13:43Speaker 2: The President also talked about our enemies.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yes, there are enemies around the world, and certainly there
- 13:48Speaker 1: are enemies in the Middle East. The President saying this
- 13:51Speaker 1: that the US Saudi Investment Forum in Saudi Arabia.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Yet I'm here today not merely to condemn the past chaos.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Iran's leaders but to offer them a new path, and
- 14:03Speaker 7: a much better path toward a far better and more
- 14:07Speaker 7: hopeful future. As I've shown repeatedly, I am willing to
- 14:11Speaker 7: end past conflicts and forge new partnerships for better and
- 14:14Speaker 7: more stable world, even of our differences may be very profound,
- 14:19Speaker 7: which obviously they are in the case of Iran. I
- 14:23Speaker 7: have never believed in having permanent enemies. I am different
- 14:27Speaker 7: than a lot of people think. I don't like permanent enemies,
- 14:31Speaker 7: but sometimes you need enemies to do the job, and
- 14:35Speaker 7: you have to do it right. Enemies get you motivated.
- 14:38Speaker 7: In fact, some of the closest friends of the United
- 14:41Speaker 7: States of America nations we fought wars against in generations past,
- 14:47Speaker 7: and now they're our friends and our allies.
- 14:50Speaker 1: The present, giving a pathway for a future there that
- 14:53Speaker 1: even some of the media are now saying sounds pretty nice.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Fox Business Channel talking about this, saying the President's Middle
- 15:01Speaker 1: East plan is one that we should all embrace.
- 15:05Speaker 8: The President will never get credit for this, but that
- 15:08Speaker 8: was an amazing speech. He threw down the gauntlet where
- 15:14Speaker 8: he had to, particularly with Iran, and at the same
- 15:18Speaker 8: time he painted a picture of possibility for the Middle East.
- 15:22Speaker 8: I've never heard any other president paint. I mean, that
- 15:24Speaker 8: was truly extraordinary. He made Look he's such a good salesman.
- 15:30Speaker 8: He said to the Middle East, you want to lead
- 15:33Speaker 8: in business and technology and culture and commerce.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Those are the exact words he used. We will do
- 15:39Speaker 5: it with you. We are in a golden age. You
- 15:42Speaker 5: can have a golden age. There's only one person on
- 15:45Speaker 5: the globe. There's only one person who could give that
- 15:48Speaker 5: speech and do it with that kind of force, and
- 15:50Speaker 5: it was him. That was totally extraordinary. You know, everyone's
- 15:53Speaker 5: talking about the follow through.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I can't wait to see.
- 15:55Speaker 8: What kind of fallow through comes from this.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Now, don't worry.
- 15:58Speaker 1: The rest of the press there going to be angry
- 16:00Speaker 1: over the President and what he had to say today.
- 16:02Speaker 1: They're angry about the fact the president's trying to have
- 16:05Speaker 1: peace in the Middle East and get this job done.
- 16:08Speaker 2: The President also saying this about God.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Listen carefully how this will play as well in the
- 16:13Speaker 1: Middle East.
- 16:15Speaker 7: I believe it is God's job to sit in judgment,
- 16:18Speaker 7: my job to defend America and to promote the fundamental
- 16:23Speaker 7: interest of stability, prosperity, and peace.
- 16:26Speaker 2: That's what I really want to do.
- 16:29Speaker 7: I will never hesitate to wield American power if it's
- 16:32Speaker 7: necessary to defend the United States or to help defend
- 16:37Speaker 7: our allies.
- 16:40Speaker 1: It's pretty clear, the President saying, the terrorists in the
- 16:42Speaker 1: Middle East, if you think that you can get away
- 16:44Speaker 1: with doing what you were doing during the last four
- 16:46Speaker 1: years that Biden administration, you're flat out wrong.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I don't need permanent enemies. I don't like permanent enemies.
- 16:53Speaker 1: But if you are going to screw with America or
- 16:56Speaker 1: American interests, our allies, there will be hell to pay.
- 17:02Speaker 1: The President also talking more about peace, saying he's ready
- 17:06Speaker 1: to stand and help Lebanon create a future as well
- 17:10Speaker 1: with an economic development.
- 17:12Speaker 7: My administration stands ready to help Lebanon create a future
- 17:16Speaker 7: of economic development and peace with its neighbors.
- 17:20Speaker 2: With its neighbors.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So you listen to this president and everything that he
- 17:24Speaker 1: just said there, why on earth would anyone in the
- 17:27Speaker 1: media criticize this right Like, why would anybody say this
- 17:32Speaker 1: is a bad thing? Well, MSNBC had no problem attacking
- 17:37Speaker 1: this trip and Israel when they said this moments after
- 17:42Speaker 1: the President was in the Middle East talking about all
- 17:45Speaker 1: these issues.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Edi UN spokesperson on Monday did not mis mince words.
- 17:50Speaker 3: And I'm going to quote here this is not a
- 17:53Speaker 3: natural disaster, but a human made catastrophe that the world
- 17:57Speaker 3: should not allow. We have seen picture images of children
- 18:01Speaker 3: even today, carrying all their belongings through the rubble, A
- 18:04Speaker 3: tiny baby in a rainbow jumper that was killed by
- 18:07Speaker 3: an air strike. And then there is a child this
- 18:10Speaker 3: is today with one leg, waiting on crutches just to
- 18:13Speaker 3: try to get a bit of food. These images are
- 18:17Speaker 3: so heartbreaking, so chilling. They raise the question Hamas, Yes,
- 18:21Speaker 3: Hamas is responsible. Israel has made a decision for the blockade,
- 18:27Speaker 3: But what is the responsibility of other governments? What is
- 18:31Speaker 3: the responsibility of us all when children and innocence are
- 18:35Speaker 3: starving to death?
- 18:38Speaker 4: You know, it's a difficult question on a certain level
- 18:41Speaker 4: and an easy answer on another. First, I think countries
- 18:45Speaker 4: across the world needs to simply live up to international law.
- 18:49Speaker 4: What Israel is doing in relation to Gaza, the blockade
- 18:53Speaker 4: that is cutting off food and water is illegal. It's
- 18:56Speaker 4: not sanctioned by international law. I think if countries understand
- 19:01Speaker 4: that and live up to the letter of that law
- 19:04Speaker 4: and to the intent of that law, they would hold
- 19:06Speaker 4: Israel accountable. I want to just acknowledge what the rabbi
- 19:10Speaker 4: is doing, what he's written, and what he's doing. It
- 19:12Speaker 4: is important that when you're within a particular tradition, Chris,
- 19:16Speaker 4: that you can bring the resources of that tradition to
- 19:18Speaker 4: bear on the actions of those who are committed to
- 19:21Speaker 4: the same principles and ideals and faith that you are.
- 19:24Speaker 4: So it's within that tradition that he's bringing the basic
- 19:28Speaker 4: tenets of Judaism to bear on what Israel is doing.
- 19:31Speaker 4: And I think that's really important, and I think it's powerful,
- 19:33Speaker 4: and I understand the risk that he's taken that he's taken.
- 19:37Speaker 4: I think also for me, I just want to say,
- 19:39Speaker 4: I want to ask a basic question. How many dead
- 19:42Speaker 4: Palestinians are needed for the state of Israel.
- 19:46Speaker 1: How many dead Palestinians are needed for the state of Israel.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That is the anti Semitic propaganda that MSNBC put out
- 19:56Speaker 1: on their airwaves, not talking about all the dead is
- 20:00Speaker 1: Israelis who were killed in the horrific attack, the worse
- 20:03Speaker 1: since the Holocaust on Israel.
- 20:07Speaker 2: This is what Donald Trump is up against.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And joining me is a senator from Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn Center.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Nice to have you on and Let's start with what
- 20:17Speaker 1: we're seeing with trade, because this is obviously the Democrats
- 20:22Speaker 1: and the media's worst nightmare. They wanted you to believe,
- 20:24Speaker 1: if you're a citizen in this country, that this was
- 20:26Speaker 1: going to destroy your life, that deals weren't going to
- 20:29Speaker 1: get done until next year, as they were saying on
- 20:31Speaker 1: TV just last week on CNN, Oh, this will be
- 20:34Speaker 1: over a year until this stuff gets done. And then
- 20:36Speaker 1: sure enough, we see this major announcement with UK followed
- 20:39Speaker 1: up by another major announcement with China.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Donald Trump's getting it done.
- 20:44Speaker 9: Yes he is. He is delivering results, and when you
- 20:48Speaker 9: have those kind of results, it elevates respect for the
- 20:53Speaker 9: United States of America around the globe. We understand that
- 20:57Speaker 9: our Trade rep is working on twenty more of these
- 21:01Speaker 9: tariff and trade deals, and you know, Ben, that also
- 21:06Speaker 9: covers the non tariff trade barriers in those discussions. And
- 21:11Speaker 9: these are being done in a bilateral manner, a one
- 21:15Speaker 9: on one, which is how the President likes to do it.
- 21:19Speaker 9: But he is proving that he built a vision for
- 21:22Speaker 9: what this country could return to begging and our leadership
- 21:27Speaker 9: position in the world, and he is showing how to
- 21:30Speaker 9: make that happen.
- 21:31Speaker 2: You look at this president. It's not just on trade deals.
- 21:34Speaker 1: But look at the last week you had UK trade deal,
- 21:38Speaker 1: China trade deal, then the release of American hostage, the
- 21:40Speaker 1: ceasefire with Indian Pakistan, ceasefire with the Hooties. Oh, and
- 21:43Speaker 1: by the way, we're going to make prescription drug costs
- 21:45Speaker 1: through an executive order much less expensive for Americans and
- 21:51Speaker 1: giving US Favored nation status on these prices.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's just in a week.
- 21:56Speaker 9: Yes it is. And of course the MSN issue with
- 22:01Speaker 9: the pharmaceuticals is his way of getting these pharmaceutical companies
- 22:07Speaker 9: to the table. We have five percent of the world's population,
- 22:11Speaker 9: but we represent seventy five percent. A pharmaceutical company profits
- 22:19Speaker 9: because they're subsidizing these negotiated prices in other countries. Now
- 22:26Speaker 9: also getting rid of these pharmacy benefit managers, who are
- 22:31Speaker 9: the middlemen between your insurance company and you at the
- 22:36Speaker 9: pharmacy counter, getting rid of them because they go in there,
- 22:40Speaker 9: they take the rebates, they negotiate what you're going to
- 22:44Speaker 9: be allowed to have. That is why people may be
- 22:48Speaker 9: on a certain pharmaceutical and then all of a sudden
- 22:51Speaker 9: three months into that, six months into it, well there's
- 22:55Speaker 9: a change and they can't have it anymore. They have
- 22:58Speaker 9: to get something that is different, and their physician has said, no,
- 23:03Speaker 9: this is the prescription that you need, and people are
- 23:07Speaker 9: tired of that. So we just left a hearing today
- 23:12Speaker 9: with these pharmacy benefit managers. It is my legislation that
- 23:18Speaker 9: rains them in and will end this practice of them
- 23:23Speaker 9: taking the rebates and driving up the price on consumers.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It is incredible and now having this change is going
- 23:32Speaker 1: to help all Americans. It should be a non political issue,
- 23:34Speaker 1: but it does seem like the Democratic Party is completely
- 23:37Speaker 1: controlled by big pharma and their investment in each one
- 23:41Speaker 1: of their candidates.
- 23:42Speaker 9: Well, it does appear to be that way, and when
- 23:45Speaker 9: you look at it, I think that it's easy to
- 23:48Speaker 9: see why people feel that. But reigning in the PBMs,
- 23:54Speaker 9: I'm telling you that I've gotten a lot of bipartisan
- 23:57Speaker 9: support on my legislation. It is moving through Finance Committee.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It brings me down a little bit when you say PBMs.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I want people to understand it because it seems complicated,
- 24:07Speaker 1: especially if you don't know. So can you explain exactly
- 24:09Speaker 1: how this legislation would work. I think it's important.
- 24:11Speaker 9: Absolutely. When Bill Clinton was in office and they were
- 24:15Speaker 9: looking at trying to nationalize healthcare, and of course we
- 24:20Speaker 9: had the version of Hillary Care in Tennessee, which was Tencare.
- 24:25Speaker 9: They came up with this idea that they would have
- 24:28Speaker 9: a pharmacy benefit manager who would work between the pharmaceutical
- 24:32Speaker 9: company and the insurance company and the patient. And what
- 24:36Speaker 9: they would do for the insurance company is go to
- 24:40Speaker 9: the pharmaceutical companies and negotiate prices. Well, as the rebates
- 24:45Speaker 9: got bigger, these PBMs got bigger, and they started saying
- 24:51Speaker 9: to the insurance companies, hey will take the rebate and
- 24:54Speaker 9: we will split it with you. Well, the poor patient,
- 24:59Speaker 9: those of us that are going to the pharmacy counter.
- 25:02Speaker 9: We're still playing the full note on this, and it's
- 25:06Speaker 9: why you've seen cops go up. It's also why you've
- 25:09Speaker 9: seen some prescriptions be disallowed by your insurance plan. Why
- 25:15Speaker 9: were they doing that because the PBM says, Okay, let's
- 25:20Speaker 9: go over here to another company with a similar pharmaceutical
- 25:26Speaker 9: and let's do business there because we get a bigger rebate.
- 25:31Speaker 9: So it becomes a profit motive motive, and it puts
- 25:35Speaker 9: profit at the center and not the patient at the center.
- 25:40Speaker 9: So my legislation would require them to move these PBMs
- 25:45Speaker 9: to a service fee and it would be a flat rate.
- 25:49Speaker 9: And also it requires them to use any willing pharmacy. Now,
- 25:56Speaker 9: in Tennessee, we've had one hundred and twenty pharmacies the
- 26:00Speaker 9: clothes over the last decade. These are independent pharmacies. Many
- 26:05Speaker 9: times it is the only healthcare access point in some
- 26:10Speaker 9: of our rural or underserved communities, and the PBMs have
- 26:17Speaker 9: driven them out of business because they will not put
- 26:21Speaker 9: them in the formulary. We've had research from the Tennessee
- 26:24Speaker 9: Department of Commerce and Insurance that shows even one of
- 26:28Speaker 9: the PBMs in our state elevated the price on five
- 26:33Speaker 9: hundred and fifty different drugs, did what they call spread
- 26:38Speaker 9: pricing to the tune of thirty million dollars, and then
- 26:42Speaker 9: also refused to pay these pharmacies within the seven day
- 26:47Speaker 9: pay period. So it makes it hard for these independent
- 26:52Speaker 9: and small pharmacies to do business. So what my legislation
- 26:57Speaker 9: would do would be to end that and say any
- 27:01Speaker 9: pharmacy that is willing to participate with a plan, you
- 27:05Speaker 9: have got to let them into that plan and let
- 27:09Speaker 9: them provide for those patients. And it would cap the fee.
- 27:15Speaker 9: That would mean they can't get that rebate. It would
- 27:17Speaker 9: cap them at a service fee and disallow the rebate.
- 27:22Speaker 2: So what does this look like moving forward?
- 27:24Speaker 1: And what are people that are listening to advocate for
- 27:27Speaker 1: who do they need to be calling?
- 27:29Speaker 9: Well, what they need to do is be contacting some
- 27:32Speaker 9: of the House members and encourage them to support it.
- 27:36Speaker 9: They need to be contacting their senators to support Pharmacy
- 27:41Speaker 9: Benefit Manager reconstruction and reform. And you know, as I said,
- 27:49Speaker 9: we're raining them in. I would like to remove them
- 27:52Speaker 9: as a part of the marketplace. We don't need the
- 27:55Speaker 9: middleman and on this, and we don't need somebody the
- 28:00Speaker 9: unelected bureaucrats who are out here changing what people can
- 28:05Speaker 9: have access to when their physician has already told them
- 28:09Speaker 9: what they need to be taking.
- 28:10Speaker 1: It's incredible final question for you, and I know you
- 28:13Speaker 1: got to go, but I want to get it deals
- 28:14Speaker 1: with this issue. Are you surprised at just the amount
- 28:18Speaker 1: of hypocrisy from the media in the left? They looked
- 28:21Speaker 1: the other way as masses of men crossed illegally all
- 28:26Speaker 1: over the globe in the US everywhere for the last
- 28:29Speaker 1: four years under the Biden administration, literally millions coming in.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And now the media is furious that Donald Trump has
- 28:36Speaker 1: allowed a fuse and this non exaggeration a few dozen
- 28:40Speaker 1: South Africans to come to the US legally as refugees.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But they said nothing about Arizona, for example, or Texas
- 28:49Speaker 1: or New Mexico when it was being overrun by thousands
- 28:52Speaker 1: of Afghan aliens crossing illegally every day in December of
- 28:55Speaker 1: twenty twenty three.
- 28:57Speaker 9: The hypocrisy is, it is astounding. And when you look
- 29:03Speaker 9: at the fact that ICE has been working in Tennessee
- 29:08Speaker 9: and around Middle Tennessee, and my understanding is they have
- 29:12Speaker 9: had about one hundred and forty apprehensions and detentions. These
- 29:17Speaker 9: are individuals that are gang members, Trende are Agua MS thirteen,
- 29:22Speaker 9: which we have declared as a country, that these are
- 29:26Speaker 9: foreign terrorist organizations. You've got murderers, rapists, child rapists, pedophiles,
- 29:33Speaker 9: child predators that are included in these numbers. And the
- 29:38Speaker 9: Democrats are out here saying don't lock them up, don't
- 29:45Speaker 9: deport them, and trying to say these people who have
- 29:49Speaker 9: illegally entered the country, trying to act as if they
- 29:53Speaker 9: have constitutional rights that citizens have. They have illegally entered
- 30:02Speaker 9: the country with just a crime and then they have
- 30:04Speaker 9: committed crime against our fellow Tennesseeans and have robbed people
- 30:11Speaker 9: of their property, or who have dangered them or injured them,
- 30:17Speaker 9: or in the child rapist, you know, trying to defend
- 30:22Speaker 9: these people. I haven't talked to many folks that want
- 30:26Speaker 9: these people living in their neighborhoods. They are criminals and
- 30:30Speaker 9: they want them off the street. They want to see
- 30:35Speaker 9: them locked up, and they don't want them back in
- 30:38Speaker 9: their neighborhoods.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Amen to that center. Always a pleasure.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I appreciate you coming on and we will certainly keep
- 30:44Speaker 1: people update on this legislation you're working on.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Well done.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and friends,
- 30:50Speaker 1: put it up on social media wherever you are, and
- 30:53Speaker 1: we appreciate you listening every day.
- 30:55Speaker 2: We'll see you back here tomorrow
