- 2:14Speaker 1: God been good to me, man, He's been so good
- 2:17Speaker 1: to me. Wow. And you know what I say it
- 2:23Speaker 1: like that. What makes it amazing is because it's been
- 2:26Speaker 1: in spite of myself. I mean you know what I
- 2:30Speaker 1: mean by that. I mean I mean that he's been
- 2:33Speaker 1: good to me in spite of all the craziness I've done,
- 2:39Speaker 1: all the foolishness I've gotten myself involved with, and not
- 2:42Speaker 1: only got but knowingly got myself involved with all of
- 2:48Speaker 1: the stupid decisions I've made, put all that to the side,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and he's still been good to me. Bring it all
- 2:57Speaker 1: and put it on the plate, and he's still been
- 3:00Speaker 1: good to me. Man. That's amazing, man. And I'm sure
- 3:03Speaker 1: there's a lot of people that can say the exact
- 3:05Speaker 1: same thing. I mean, come on, man, I got you,
- 3:09Speaker 1: ain't famous, I got anybody, got no microphone in your face,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I got nobody, ain't got no spotlight on you. I
- 3:14Speaker 1: got nobody, ain't got no came in your face. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: got nobody problem. Ain't your body blogging about you. But
- 3:18Speaker 1: let me tell you so if you break it down
- 3:21Speaker 1: and be real about it, Oh, you haven't done something
- 3:23Speaker 1: outside the box. You haven't done something ladies included. You've
- 3:27Speaker 1: done something out the box. You woke up and went
- 3:29Speaker 1: what did I do that for? Oh? We've all done it.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So with all that's said and done, God still loves you, man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: God still loves you, still wants you the best for you,
- 3:43Speaker 1: still considers you his child, and it's and its willing
- 3:46Speaker 1: is willing man to show you your future. He is
- 3:50Speaker 1: willing to show you your life. He is willing to
- 3:54Speaker 1: let you take a peek at the blueprint. Man, that's
- 3:57Speaker 1: an amazing God right there, because I don't. I know,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I'm glad
- 4:03Speaker 1: it's him, you know. Today man, I want to encourage
- 4:06Speaker 1: brothers out there. And when I say brothers, I'm talking
- 4:09Speaker 1: to everybody that's of the male species. I don't care
- 4:12Speaker 1: about your color. I really really don't. I don't even
- 4:14Speaker 1: have time for that in my day a matter a
- 4:16Speaker 1: matter of fact. Sometimes when you get to discussing race,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and I just get tired of it sometimes and I
- 4:21Speaker 1: just wish, you know, some some days I just want
- 4:23Speaker 1: to wake up just do me. You know, I I
- 4:26Speaker 1: got what what what the skin tone is? I got that.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But I just want to wake up some days and
- 4:31Speaker 1: just going buy my business and do me. I don't
- 4:33Speaker 1: want to have to deal with something. I get tired
- 4:35Speaker 1: of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them go away.
- 4:37Speaker 1: But sometimes I get tired, so the damn talking to brothers,
- 4:40Speaker 1: all the brothers of the male species. I'm talking about
- 4:43Speaker 1: men today. Man, If if if you ain't doing it all,
- 4:48Speaker 1: if you're feeling empty, man, start today completing your your
- 4:52Speaker 1: process and your journey. And you know what I'm saying,
- 4:55Speaker 1: by that, if there's a part of you're just missing
- 4:58Speaker 1: as a man, and and and and now, man, I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: talking to you so you know some ladies listening, but
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. It's it's some part
- 5:06Speaker 1: of you that's missing as a man, if you ain't
- 5:10Speaker 1: really been in touch with your kids like you supposed
- 5:13Speaker 1: to now for whatever the reason is. And please no,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been through it, man, I know what it feels like, man,
- 5:29Speaker 1: to want to do something. But because you ain't got
- 5:32Speaker 1: this or you ain't doing this thing, I ain't gonna
- 5:34Speaker 1: let you have this. You gotta fight through, Fellas, you
- 5:38Speaker 1: got to fight through. You got to fulfill your end
- 5:43Speaker 1: of the deal. And I got how difficult they're making it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I got how man, it's gonna come with some drama,
- 5:49Speaker 1: but you gotta fight through it, because man, we need
- 5:52Speaker 1: fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need. If
- 5:56Speaker 1: you're a man out there and you are a father
- 5:58Speaker 1: of a child, we need you to do your job.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We I'm talking about the our community, our situation, us
- 6:07Speaker 1: as a people, all of us. We need you to
- 6:11Speaker 1: be a father period. Hey man, I ain't coming down
- 6:16Speaker 1: on you. I'm just your boy. I'm your man. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: I've been in the same predicament, in the same hole myself.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Why I couldn't get to them, where they were used
- 6:26Speaker 1: as pawns, where they were told things about me that
- 6:29Speaker 1: wasn't even true. I've been through it. You can't see him,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you don't come on, okay, okay, I got all that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, Hey got all that?
- 6:39Speaker 1: If if, if you can call them sometimes, tell them
- 6:43Speaker 1: you're thinking about them, Tell him you love them. If
- 6:46Speaker 1: you can get a letter to them, if you can
- 6:49Speaker 1: get a message to your children through one of your relatives,
- 6:53Speaker 1: start the process today. Be a father. It's your job now.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Because you ignoring him, are you acting like they ain't
- 7:02Speaker 1: over there, or you don't back him out of your
- 7:04Speaker 1: mind because the situation got too difficult. I got that.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got that. But you got to step up and
- 7:10Speaker 1: be fatherss. You got to write a letter. You gotta
- 7:14Speaker 1: send the money if she talking about If you don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: send all the money, you ain't gonna sen him. Send
- 7:18Speaker 1: what you got. If she if taking it over there
- 7:20Speaker 1: is too much drama. Send it through a relative, give
- 7:23Speaker 1: it to her mama, give it to her sister, ask
- 7:25Speaker 1: her to take it over there and do something for
- 7:27Speaker 1: the baby. Because okay, okay, you can't deal with the drama.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I got that, and I know it's much to pay
- 7:33Speaker 1: when you have to deal with that, because clearly I
- 7:36Speaker 1: know hell have no fury like a woman's going. Please know,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I know that. Please no, And that's a real statement.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That ain't no saying, Steve got That's that's the truth.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you have to apologize.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Sometimes an apology goes a long way to your children.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Just hey, look, because I've made this apology before. Hey man, look,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I wasn't there for you. I was out
- 8:05Speaker 1: grinding and hustling, and I wasn't paying attention to you,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and I should have been. And I apologize now. I imagine, man,
- 8:13Speaker 1: there's days where you was telling people I was your
- 8:15Speaker 1: father up at the school and they wasn't believing you.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I apologize for sending you through that. But now, man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I tell you what. I made some mistakes, and I
- 8:25Speaker 1: got it together. I want me and you to move
- 8:27Speaker 1: forward as father and son. I want me and you
- 8:29Speaker 1: to move forward as father and daughter. I want to
- 8:32Speaker 1: be in your life. I ain't got a lot, but
- 8:34Speaker 1: guess what, I know a lot, because if you're a
- 8:37Speaker 1: man and you're a father, please know you know something
- 8:39Speaker 1: that child don't know. You have information, you have experience.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's all they need. Sometimes they have somebody to talk to.
- 8:47Speaker 1: That daughter yours just needs to know from her daddy,
- 8:51Speaker 1: how should a man treat me? Dad? What should I
- 8:55Speaker 1: look for in a man? See, they'll take that information
- 8:58Speaker 1: from you because they know it's coming him the right place.
- 9:01Speaker 1: And then you know that your son needs you because
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know how difficult it is if you're trying to
- 9:07Speaker 1: be a man without your daddy. You already know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: funky that is right there. So come on, man and
- 9:13Speaker 1: met your mistakes and move forward. Call your kids, write
- 9:17Speaker 1: a letter, get a phone number on them, send a text,
- 9:21Speaker 1: drop a message, send a note up to the school.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Do something, man, Get your thinking caps on, fellas, but
- 9:27Speaker 1: stand up and be fathers. Man, make the step to
- 9:32Speaker 1: be fathers. Do you know that if every man that
- 9:36Speaker 1: was a father would just stand up and be a
- 9:39Speaker 1: father's that would be no need for half the mentoring programs.
- 9:42Speaker 1: We're trying to start out here, but we have mintoring
- 9:45Speaker 1: programs because there's such a lack of fathers out there.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But guess what, it really ain't no lack of fathers
- 9:52Speaker 1: out there because y'all have made these babies and you
- 9:55Speaker 1: got these kids, and it was you and it's your seed.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So it's your job. It ain't my job. It ain't
- 10:02Speaker 1: my job to raise your kids. It's your job. Now, Fellas,
- 10:09Speaker 1: like I say, I ain't coming down on you, but
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you the truth. Now, whay is it that
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm lying in this hill? You made a baby, that's
- 10:19Speaker 1: your baby, that's you'll see. They look just like you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That's your job. If those of us that are fathers
- 10:28Speaker 1: would just be fathers, I could shut the mentory and
- 10:31Speaker 1: camp down. Now. I will say, I apologize because I
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't want you to think I'm coming down on you.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But I've been through this myself. I ain't really coming down.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm just reminding you this is our job. These are
- 10:45Speaker 1: our children, this is our responsibility. We all men. There
- 10:49Speaker 1: is no excuses. You you don't get you don't get
- 10:53Speaker 1: cut a brake on that one. Sorry, you're listening to
- 11:00Speaker 1: lady's legitimate boys and girls may have your attention. Please
- 11:03Speaker 1: you all listening to the baddest Marty show in the world.

- 13:38Speaker 1: everything you touched, Steve, that's a lot of grace and
- 13:44Speaker 1: favor right there. Man, it's been going really well. But
- 13:47Speaker 1: I have such a high hopes for this talk show. Man.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think it's just what's needed in daytime. I think
- 13:53Speaker 1: Ellen just needs some company and entertainment. Then she's done
- 13:56Speaker 1: such a great job movement all these years. But she's
- 13:59Speaker 1: been by off doing the entertaining. You know, everybody else
- 14:02Speaker 1: is informative. It's like a night show that's in the daytime.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's Yeah, how's the wardrobe? It ain't there, it ain't.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm still waiting on them to come in to get nice,

- 14:25Speaker 1: to get it cranked up in here. I mean you
- 14:28Speaker 1: might even wear some Dove Shaker battle suits pretty soon.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Coming up, coming up, something funny with the fell Right now,
- 14:41Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Stephen,
- 14:45Speaker 1: the guys what regular season? The regular season of NFL
- 14:49Speaker 1: football starts tomorrow. Oh my god, I know you guys
- 14:52Speaker 1: are happy about that. Man you read Yeah, you guys
- 14:56Speaker 1: have been fighting for a while about that first game.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Can't the city of New England. And my question to
- 15:02Speaker 1: you is what sport do you play? If you still
- 15:06Speaker 1: play sports, it ain't gonna be football or what sport
- 15:11Speaker 1: did you play? I should say did you play? Because
- 15:13Speaker 1: I know you played golf? Right now? You play golf nice,
- 15:17Speaker 1: non contact. You can't abody to do nothing. I ain't
- 15:21Speaker 1: gotta run. Did you have a nickname when you did play?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Because you boxed. You played basketball. Boxing should be considered
- 15:29Speaker 1: something else that's bored in the contact sport. That's too much. Damn. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 1: that's that's the whole intent is to. I know Tommy
- 15:40Speaker 1: ran track and did you do something else? Tommy? I
- 15:43Speaker 1: played football when ninth grade. I came across the middle
- 15:47Speaker 1: to catch the ball and got knocked smooth out when
- 15:51Speaker 1: I had a good cushion out of his knee. Somebody, Junior, now,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I know you play football as well, football, basketball, track.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yeah you ran track to that's right. Yeah my nick
- 16:12Speaker 1: name with quick Junior. I'm just gonna say this hill
- 16:16Speaker 1: on the basketball court back in the day. Yeah, I
- 16:20Speaker 1: wouldn't even let you score it, though, but I saw
- 16:23Speaker 1: pictures of you. He looked like he could play. You
- 16:25Speaker 1: heard he said? They called him quick. What you want quick?
- 16:29Speaker 1: You can be talk quick? Sure? He talked quick quick,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I had to go to lane jump was good. You're
- 16:37Speaker 1: that good? I talk about himself in the third person.
- 16:42Speaker 1: How you doing quick? Quick? Quick? Speak to Julian, I
- 16:49Speaker 1: played defense. Don't even ask me because you play those sports.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Know we'll see you. And when you would like trade
- 16:56Speaker 1: up for team and say hey, I'll take fat boy.
- 17:00Speaker 1: That you take that as like that, I just go
- 17:09Speaker 1: write some jokes on that that was gonna go further
- 17:13Speaker 1: than trying. Yeah, I'll tell you what if you give
- 17:16Speaker 1: us that? Boy? No, well, let's telling jokes has paid off.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You know. I'm not gonna say the name, but I
- 17:27Speaker 1: said with NFL player before he got drafted and he's
- 17:32Speaker 1: out of the league now. And I remember sitting there
- 17:35Speaker 1: talking to him and I said, hey man, what you
- 17:38Speaker 1: wanna do is he was a real ericant guy and
- 17:41Speaker 1: he said, uh. He told me. He said, hey man,
- 17:45Speaker 1: you know you all you do is tell your jokes. Oh,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I played football. That's totally different. I said, well, you know, success,
- 17:55Speaker 1: the principles of success are the same no matter what
- 17:58Speaker 1: you apply him to. I was just sharing some information. Yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 1: but I played football, so they ain't got nothing to
- 18:03Speaker 1: do with I said, okay, cool. So you know he's
- 18:08Speaker 1: out the league, is it? Oja? I'm still on TV.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I was playing football when I was coming up. I
- 18:17Speaker 1: ain't playing football. I'm still telling yeah, yeah, radio, I'm
- 18:23Speaker 1: on TV. Dog dog, I'll be looking at people. I'll
- 18:27Speaker 1: be going okay. So he was looking down at you
- 18:29Speaker 1: for being a comedian and all all you do is
- 18:31Speaker 1: tell jokes, I said, Pardoner's Tale, but like it don't
- 18:37Speaker 1: pay though, Yeah, I mean not. The favorite thing I
- 18:41Speaker 1: like to say is how your little career going? Actually,
- 18:45Speaker 1: now I laugh it off. Even now, how you little
- 18:47Speaker 1: career go? I didn't laugh it off. Let me tell
- 18:51Speaker 1: you something. Now, I'm at the point now when I
- 18:54Speaker 1: go into the bank, I'm kind of embarrassed. I'll side,
- 19:02Speaker 1: do I stand this line? Go over that line? This
- 19:07Speaker 1: little career going? Well, let me tell you some When
- 19:10Speaker 1: I had my comedy club in Dallas, a lot of
- 19:12Speaker 1: the cowboys used to come. They were cool. A lot
- 19:14Speaker 1: of them was cool. Let some of them get to
- 19:16Speaker 1: drink a little funny man, what you got for us
- 19:18Speaker 1: the day? You know it? Used to make snide remarks.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You we played football. You ain't doing I'm telling some
- 19:24Speaker 1: damn jokes. Every last one of them. Cowboys don't play
- 19:28Speaker 1: football no more. Well, yeah, that's a career that doesn't
- 19:32Speaker 1: last long. Body. Yeah, you're done. Great, And I don't
- 19:38Speaker 1: have a problem. None of the cowboys, don't get me wrong.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I was just telling you. Sometimes a couple of them
- 19:41Speaker 1: got drunk. None of the famous, like Dion was always cool.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Emmett was always cool. Michael Irvin was always cool when
- 19:48Speaker 1: he came to that. Michael Irvin was always cool when
- 19:51Speaker 1: he came through that. But some other cats, man, some
- 19:56Speaker 1: other cats came through that, like you know you you're
- 19:59Speaker 1: damn you're on a damn practice squad. Yeah, don't nobody
- 20:03Speaker 1: even know your ass? You don't get a number to go,
- 20:05Speaker 1: you don't even dress that. Yeah, and don't and don't
- 20:08Speaker 1: stop there. I like to find the damn teachers that
- 20:10Speaker 1: told me, ain't nobody gonna pay you to be stupid? Oh?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Was she wrong in your life? Yeah? Sit down back there,
- 20:21Speaker 1: a little Stevie acting of food. Ain't nobody gonna pay
- 20:25Speaker 1: you no money to active food? Hey? Uh uh, Elliott Man,
- 20:34Speaker 1: he might get to playzee. I think so, because when
- 20:39Speaker 1: you appeal your suspension, I think you played doing this appeal.
- 20:43Speaker 1: But I don't know. Man. It's just so unfair that
- 20:46Speaker 1: they've that they suspended this kid because he was exonerated
- 20:50Speaker 1: of all charges in the court of law and they
- 20:54Speaker 1: said no man, and then the league just gonna turn
- 20:56Speaker 1: around and just do that. Then the Cleveland Brown's twitter

- 34:53Speaker 1: she's here, the talented, the lovely miss Anne Trip Steve
- 34:58Speaker 1: wanting everybody out there. Here we go with the news,
- 35:01Speaker 1: and there is a lot to tell. Good morning. Officials
- 35:03Speaker 1: at the National Weather Service say that hurricane Irma is
- 35:06Speaker 1: now the strongest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic, currently
- 35:10Speaker 1: packing sustained winds of five miles per hour, threatening to
- 35:14Speaker 1: slam into Puerto Rico and other parts of the Northern
- 35:16Speaker 1: Caribbean sometime today. It has already hit Barbuda and is
- 35:20Speaker 1: expected to reach the US mainland by this weekend. Miami
- 35:24Speaker 1: Mayor Carlos Jimenez is urging residents there to take the
- 35:27Speaker 1: situation seriously. I'm ordering all county offices to close Thursday
- 35:31Speaker 1: and Friday. All non essential personnel will not need to
- 35:36Speaker 1: come to work. I'm also requesting that all of our
- 35:38Speaker 1: visitors that are here in Miami Dade County on their
- 35:41Speaker 1: vacations begin and should consider cutting their vacations short. And
- 35:45Speaker 1: evacuation order was issued in Monroe County yesterday, which includes
- 35:48Speaker 1: the Florida Keys. Federal states of emergency have already been
- 35:51Speaker 1: declared for the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and for
- 35:54Speaker 1: the state of Florida. Meanwhile, the National Guard has been
- 35:57Speaker 1: called up in Florida. FEMA teams are on their way
- 35:59Speaker 1: also to the Sunshine State. Reaction continues all over the country.
- 36:04Speaker 1: To U S Attorney General Jeff Sessions announcement yesterday that
- 36:07Speaker 1: the new administration is phasing out a program that former
- 36:10Speaker 1: President Obama instituted by way of executive order five years
- 36:13Speaker 1: ago to protect the Dreamers, some eight hundred thousand people
- 36:16Speaker 1: brought here illegally when they were very young by their parents.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Attorney General Sessions re poorly advised Trump to end the
- 36:22Speaker 1: doctor program, which he considers a kind of unlawful amnesty.
- 36:25Speaker 1: As Attorney General, it is my deedy to ensure that
- 36:29Speaker 1: the laws of the United States are enforced and that
- 36:33Speaker 1: the constitutional order is upheld. Such an open ended circumvention
- 36:38Speaker 1: of immigration laws was an unconstitutional exercise of authority by
- 36:43Speaker 1: the executive branch. Now, as a U. S. Senator, you
- 36:46Speaker 1: need to know Jeff Sessions was against almost every immigration
- 36:49Speaker 1: measure proposed over the last twenty years, and Texas and
- 36:52Speaker 1: eight other conservative states had actually threatened to sue if
- 36:55Speaker 1: the President did not resend DHACO, which is short for
- 36:57Speaker 1: a Deferred Action for Childhood or rivals. So the Tran
- 37:01Speaker 1: administration now plans a six month gradual wind down applications,
- 37:05Speaker 1: new and all that kind of stuff will be decided
- 37:07Speaker 1: on a case to case basis. There will be no
- 37:09Speaker 1: new applications accepted, and he also wants the present says
- 37:12Speaker 1: he also wants to give Congress time to act legislatively
- 37:15Speaker 1: on this whole matter. Twenty minutes after the hour, Eugene
- 37:18Speaker 1: the Butterfly is coming up. Stay tuned to the Steve
- 37:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:24Speaker 1: All right, this is how we do it. Steve, you

- 38:22Speaker 1: and it is Eugene Antoine Fergus. Okay, that's what needs
- 38:26Speaker 1: to be known and it needs to be said. Okay,
- 38:29Speaker 1: there can be but one true diva and it's me
- 38:31Speaker 1: in the show hits you Mama's boy. You do not

- 39:09Speaker 1: this is where we go around the room. And I
- 39:11Speaker 1: know Steven don't like for me to go around the room.

- 40:34Speaker 1: said was we'll be back. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 40:43Speaker 1: All right, it's time as promised for All I said
- 40:46Speaker 1: was it's very simple if you if you're in a
- 40:50Speaker 1: relationship or been in a relationship, there's things that you
- 40:55Speaker 1: have said, just a little statements. Next thing you know,
- 41:00Speaker 1: you're a full blown argument, just just out of nowhere.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Like all I said was all I said, Well, what
- 41:09Speaker 1: would I do with the money if I want to
- 41:11Speaker 1: loe of it? Mm hmm, And I said, you know
- 41:13Speaker 1: I said this, I said that. Then all of a sudden,
- 41:15Speaker 1: I'm we're in an argument. We're having a full argument
- 41:20Speaker 1: or make believe money. You know what I'm saying. That's
- 41:23Speaker 1: what I'm going on. You know, I'm ting you've been there, Junior, Yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 1: been there? Still in there? Something that you know. All
- 41:30Speaker 1: I said was, you know, if I ever meet Beyonce? Right, well,
- 41:39Speaker 1: she knew the rest of the statement. I mean it,
- 41:44Speaker 1: that's if I met Beyonce. Hey, you know she allowed
- 41:50Speaker 1: me to date hus That's all I said. Tell me,
- 41:55Speaker 1: you got what you want to know? What I said, Joe?
- 41:58Speaker 1: All I said, would my girlfriend husband be tripping? Said Jane,
- 42:08Speaker 1: my girlfriend husband trip? That's all I see? All right.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I was on the phone the other day just you know,
- 42:16Speaker 1: my girlfriend just talking. All I said was because it
- 42:19Speaker 1: was just the two of us. Yeah, I didn't know
- 42:22Speaker 1: Nest was in the house. All I said was Morgan
- 42:25Speaker 1: Freeman could get it. You know I even talk like that.
- 42:31Speaker 1: That was when my girls, you know, we're just talking
- 42:33Speaker 1: and oh man, the argument that has. I'm sorry, you
- 42:40Speaker 1: know I didn't say it so much. Just pick one up.
- 42:46Speaker 1: See you know all I said one time one you know,
- 42:50Speaker 1: she made me something. I just said. You know, when
- 42:53Speaker 1: my mama baked it, she baked it a different got
- 42:58Speaker 1: to do it. Yeah. Yeah. And when you talk about
- 43:02Speaker 1: cooking and stuff like that, you look over here at me.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Okay that everybody glance everybody whenever's food, we always look
- 43:10Speaker 1: at you. I don't know why. I mean a little
- 43:13Speaker 1: simple things and started, you know, like all I said
- 43:16Speaker 1: was if we weren't together, x y Z one of
- 43:20Speaker 1: your girlfriends, who did I get with? You know, that's
- 43:22Speaker 1: all I say, we're not together? If we were together,
- 43:27Speaker 1: I get well, you know you're dead, you're hit. And
- 43:31Speaker 1: we weren't together. You're a dead man. You can't really
- 43:34Speaker 1: say nothing about their body. I didn't want I did.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I said something one time. I said, why her dressed
- 43:41Speaker 1: so tight? He was on my damn? Okay, okay, all
- 43:54Speaker 1: I said, if she pregnant, it's a possibility. You know,
- 44:04Speaker 1: I'm just if she sprangnant? This wow, I tell you
- 44:11Speaker 1: when it maybe it made had to give my car
- 44:13Speaker 1: key the statement you may. I walked in the room
- 44:16Speaker 1: one time, she laying down on the bed trying to
- 44:17Speaker 1: put the pants on. I said, that's how we got
- 44:19Speaker 1: to do it now. Yeah, yeah, we walked. We walked
- 44:32Speaker 1: into this restaurant one time. All I said, me and
- 44:36Speaker 1: my exes to come here all the time, and then
- 44:41Speaker 1: helped it the guys that Mr Brown you back again.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I can't nobody, I can't right, I'll send up talking.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I said, so what side you were now? Because I
- 45:08Speaker 1: just so to what side you weren't take much? I
- 45:19Speaker 1: got one. I didn't really say anything. I just saw
- 45:22Speaker 1: lorn state on Power, Shirley, and I ain't really say anything. Yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 1: it's looking at power. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 45:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, at the top of the hour.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after the hour, we'll have today
- 45:42Speaker 1: strawberry letter. But right now, come on, nephew, what is
- 45:45Speaker 1: your prank phone? Call for it? Today? You bouncing checks
- 45:49Speaker 1: at the church? Wow, y'all know who you are that's
- 45:54Speaker 1: bouncing checks at the church. Is that your Christian voice? Oh?
- 45:59Speaker 1: You're bouncing checks? Money? Okay? He Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 46:10Speaker 1: to reach your Monica system. Monica. Please, this is brother
- 46:16Speaker 1: de Seawan. I'm calling actually I'm a member of Greater
- 46:19Speaker 1: Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you? Calling you
- 46:22Speaker 1: actually about the offering? Now? Did you? I know you
- 46:24Speaker 1: paid your ties Sunday? Okay? Now you paid a love
- 46:29Speaker 1: offering as well? Right? Yes, okay, now this past Sunday. Um,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm looking at a check that you left us with
- 46:36Speaker 1: the bank, right right, I sure did. I wrote a
- 46:39Speaker 1: check Sunday. Okay. Now the check ma'am, was two hundred
- 46:44Speaker 1: and fifty? Am? I correct? Right? Right? I wrote two
- 46:47Speaker 1: checks for my ties and the Love Offering. Right, I
- 46:50Speaker 1: wrote one for two fifty for the Love Offering. Okay,
- 46:52Speaker 1: now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me?
- 46:56Speaker 1: What I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 46:58Speaker 1: to be a very bad news, but you your check
- 47:01Speaker 1: that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And
- 47:06Speaker 1: wait a minute, you said my check bounce for your
- 47:10Speaker 1: check bounce. So what I'm doing is calling you about
- 47:13Speaker 1: recouping the two fifths as well as you know you
- 47:16Speaker 1: you cost us thirty dollars uh in bank fees. Now
- 47:21Speaker 1: I wrote two checks. I wrote a check for a
- 47:23Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Did that one bounce? I don't see to
- 47:26Speaker 1: it that that that one bounced. All I know is
- 47:28Speaker 1: the one that the Love Offering has bounced. Did you
- 47:31Speaker 1: put them in at the same time? Because I wrote
- 47:32Speaker 1: him at the same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I didn't put them in at the same time. I've
- 47:37Speaker 1: been putting them in for the last two or three years.
- 47:39Speaker 1: The problem is why would people right there, brother Shaun
- 47:45Speaker 1: was I don't think it matters and when I was there. Man,
- 47:48Speaker 1: the problem is that I didn't put these checks in
- 47:51Speaker 1: and I don't understand why y'all write these checks to
- 47:54Speaker 1: the check knowing that they're gonna bound. There's a lot
- 47:56Speaker 1: of people right well not well with one clear? Why
- 48:01Speaker 1: the other one didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have enough
- 48:03Speaker 1: money for both of them to clear. What What did
- 48:06Speaker 1: you just say? Maybe you didn't have enough money in
- 48:08Speaker 1: the bank for both of them to clear. I don't
- 48:10Speaker 1: understand why people right in the bank and all my
- 48:14Speaker 1: checks clear. I don't write no checks. Well you wrote
- 48:17Speaker 1: one on Sunday, and that's the problem. How are you
- 48:19Speaker 1: gonna try to give a look? Wait a minute, I
- 48:21Speaker 1: think you got me confused with somebody else. I don't
- 48:23Speaker 1: write no bad checks. You didn't wrote that. I'm trying
- 48:27Speaker 1: to be nice to you. When can we expect the
- 48:29Speaker 1: two fifty plus the thirty dollars? So that's the bank fees,
- 48:34Speaker 1: ma'am for the doll gonna check bouncing. My check didn't bounce.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I don't check my bank. And if my check clear,
- 48:40Speaker 1: you're gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me harassing
- 48:42Speaker 1: me about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I don't write Why would you write check? What you
- 48:48Speaker 1: want to sit up in the church and write these
- 48:50Speaker 1: big number checks when you know you ain't got it
- 48:52Speaker 1: in the bank? I said, why would you write these
- 48:56Speaker 1: checks when the money ain't in? Now, let me tell
- 48:58Speaker 1: you one ain't. I don't write no bad check. And
- 49:02Speaker 1: you got a lot of nerves calling me telling me
- 49:05Speaker 1: my check bounce, y'all. Check is the one that has bound.
- 49:07Speaker 1: And you tell you what you do since my check bounce,
- 49:10Speaker 1: you paid them, since you got all the money, and
- 49:12Speaker 1: don't call me with this again. Hello, don't you hang
- 49:18Speaker 1: up on me no more? When when don't we gonna
- 49:20Speaker 1: get this two fifty and this thirty dollars? Somebody from
- 49:25Speaker 1: the church, to my eye wrote a bad check? Right check?
- 49:29Speaker 1: I didn't write no bad Why are you calling me?
- 49:33Speaker 1: Why the treaser don't call me at church? The tras
- 49:36Speaker 1: is business. I ain't never know. The deacon called nobody
- 49:39Speaker 1: about no bad check? Your sulle, thank you you got
- 49:44Speaker 1: the money I ain't got. Who is that in the background?
- 49:48Speaker 1: Who is that for mine? Who it is? We're both
- 49:50Speaker 1: going to the same church and you're gonna call me
- 49:52Speaker 1: to my I wrote a bad check. You don't you
- 49:54Speaker 1: call me no more? And if the check bads, you paid? Okay?
- 49:58Speaker 1: Passed to know you like this? Pas, No, you're calling
- 50:02Speaker 1: me that. Look, when are we gonna get this? Two
- 50:06Speaker 1: eighty dollars is what we're looking for from You wrote
- 50:08Speaker 1: a check for two fifties and not get to eight.
- 50:12Speaker 1: You you put two fifty in there. It bounced. Thirty
- 50:16Speaker 1: dollars cost us on bank fees. That's to eighty waking
- 50:20Speaker 1: the church expect their money never not no to eight.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You will never get to eight. You're gonna make me
- 50:26Speaker 1: come by your and my check in what I'm gonna do?
- 50:29Speaker 1: What You're gonna make me come by your house and
- 50:31Speaker 1: get this money? Bring it, bring it, bring it? What
- 50:35Speaker 1: is the address on this check? Check? I got it
- 50:38Speaker 1: off the check. I bet you you'll be limping back
- 50:42Speaker 1: and I'm watching you. You bet not be spending no
- 50:44Speaker 1: money nowhere. You bet not spend nothing until I get
- 50:47Speaker 1: this two fifty plus thirty whatever. I want to know
- 50:50Speaker 1: you and you know what I am. And you don't
- 50:52Speaker 1: call me no more with this because my check did
- 50:55Speaker 1: not bounce. I don't see how one check went through
- 50:58Speaker 1: and the other bound. Let me say this to you.
- 51:00Speaker 1: We cannot accept you back into the House of the
- 51:02Speaker 1: Lord no more until you are not. Don't you come
- 51:06Speaker 1: in and Sunday until we get in the Sunday, and
- 51:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna make sure I find you because you the
- 51:12Speaker 1: person I want to see you. And you know what,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna call the pastor right now and asked him
- 51:17Speaker 1: because I don't believe my check bounce you fully? What?
- 51:20Speaker 1: Let me say this? Before you called pastor I got No,
- 51:22Speaker 1: I'm a called pastor. No, you should have talked with
- 51:24Speaker 1: pastor before you call me with this information. I got
- 51:28Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say. You ain't got
- 51:29Speaker 1: nothing to say to me. You don't upset me with
- 51:31Speaker 1: this I'm talking about I bounced a check. You should
- 51:34Speaker 1: have went to pastor before you call me with you.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I tall pastor one I got, But I got one
- 51:39Speaker 1: more thing to say before I leave that you're listening.
- 51:42Speaker 1: What are you about to say to me? What do
- 51:43Speaker 1: you have to say now that you're gonna pay the check?
- 51:46Speaker 1: This is Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Martin Show.
- 51:50Speaker 1: You just got pragged by your girlfriend. What did you say, baby? This?
- 52:02Speaker 1: What did you say? I'd say this? Is nephew, Tommy
- 52:04Speaker 1: baby brother Steve Harvey Morning. Until your girlfriend has pranked you.
- 52:12Speaker 1: She just left her. She didn't let me ask you
- 52:19Speaker 1: one more thing though, baby, what is the baddest radio
- 52:22Speaker 1: show in the land, the Steve Harvey Morning? Now cut
- 52:28Speaker 1: that out. Now, you don't bounce checks at the church.
- 52:33Speaker 1: You know how to quit the church? Check clear? Now?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Do you know they clear on Sunday night? They be
- 52:40Speaker 1: in there. Take card? I didn't know. Oh yeah, everything
- 52:48Speaker 1: that cash on we had none of that. No, we
- 52:53Speaker 1: had no. You couldn't write a check. Nothing that my check.
- 52:56Speaker 1: You can do. You can write a check cash pash.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Embarrassing at the church. And ladies, do you have another card?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Just keep it low. You ain't got to see that
- 53:06Speaker 1: loud everybody, you have another card? Now, bless me. Famous
- 53:16Speaker 1: line of our church was, you know, the Lord said
- 53:18Speaker 1: we didn't give enough this go around. Now they're gonna
- 53:22Speaker 1: to play background. Yea, lord said we we didn't give enough.
- 53:28Speaker 1: It's five more, five more. Hut in here. Our trade
- 53:32Speaker 1: went around three times. Well, it passed me three damn times.
- 53:40Speaker 1: It went back three times. They used to count the
- 53:44Speaker 1: money right there, remember that, Yeah, and locked the doors.
- 53:51Speaker 1: We counted the money right there, and then that's when
- 53:55Speaker 1: the preacher came up ask for more. Yes, we're gonna
- 53:58Speaker 1: have to close this for next time. Y'all gonn in
- 54:00Speaker 1: a way to come to man. Yeah, you know, if
- 54:07Speaker 1: you got you gotta go down week service, tell me
- 54:10Speaker 1: not on slowing doing the week. They still have devotion.
- 54:14Speaker 1: They have testimonies at our church, Faithful Central Bible Church.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I gotta slapped. One time when I was a little boy,
- 54:19Speaker 1: this lady stood up next to me. I was sitting
- 54:21Speaker 1: next to my mama. She said, I just want to
- 54:24Speaker 1: thank the Lord. I was driving on the freeway and
- 54:26Speaker 1: a cop passed me on the left and one passed
- 54:29Speaker 1: me on the right. Thank you Jesus. And she said,
- 54:31Speaker 1: down our hog for my mama. Back hand me so
- 54:35Speaker 1: you don't laugh at thank you, I said, my mama,
- 54:39Speaker 1: why why she got thank the Lord? Her co pass
- 54:41Speaker 1: on one passed on the left and right. Well, what
- 54:47Speaker 1: what that means? That means you're driving? All right, we'll
- 54:51Speaker 1: be back coming up the Strawberry Letter. You're listening Steve
- 54:56Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up next Today's Strawberry Letter. You
- 54:59Speaker 1: do not want to miss that, But listen to this now.
- 55:02Speaker 1: This is according to ABC News, don't expect the federal
- 55:06Speaker 1: government to hit you in the face with information on
- 55:08Speaker 1: signing up for Obamacare this fall. President Trump plans to
- 55:12Speaker 1: cut the ad budget for Affordable Healthcare Act enrollment from
- 55:16Speaker 1: one hundred million in two thousand and sixteen to just
- 55:20Speaker 1: ten million dollars. The White House also plans to the
- 55:24Speaker 1: White House also plans to cut web based navigator programs
- 55:28Speaker 1: that help with enrollment and managing coverage once you were
- 55:32Speaker 1: signed up, because what he wants to do is he
- 55:34Speaker 1: wants to show that it's in effect. It's very effective
- 55:37Speaker 1: in a lot of places. Some places have problems because
- 55:41Speaker 1: they didn't want it in the first place, so they
- 55:43Speaker 1: didn't pass to other laws to go with it. So
- 55:45Speaker 1: when they when they try to keep control of it,
- 55:48Speaker 1: it's messed up. You know, it's got some problems to it.
- 55:50Speaker 1: It needs some tinkering, but to get rid of it,
- 55:53Speaker 1: they don't have a plan to replace. Turning out to
- 55:56Speaker 1: be the absolute mean. So this guy right here will
- 55:59Speaker 1: just say, I'll watch it fail. So not to help
- 56:02Speaker 1: it failed is let's cut the budget for promoting it
- 56:07Speaker 1: and the unless people will know it. That's crazy, Yeah, man,
- 56:13Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's being downright not understanding. It's so
- 56:17Speaker 1: many people that Obamacare helps. Yeah, each state's program budget
- 56:22Speaker 1: will be based on how close to its enrollment goals
- 56:26Speaker 1: it was last year. So if your state hit seventy
- 56:29Speaker 1: of its goal, the Navigator program will get just seventy
- 56:33Speaker 1: percent of the money it got in two thousand and sixteen.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Democrats say Trump is simply trying to kill Obamacare like
- 56:39Speaker 1: we've been talking about after failing to pass repeal legislation. Huh,
- 56:43Speaker 1: and that fewer people will have coverage in two thousand
- 56:46Speaker 1: eighteen as a result. But the White House insists it
- 56:49Speaker 1: is simply streamlining expenditures. Okay, okay, but that the expenditure
- 56:56Speaker 1: that your stream right right, here's the problem any thing
- 57:00Speaker 1: that helps the common man. They some people, some people
- 57:05Speaker 1: in the Conservative Party have a problem with because they
- 57:08Speaker 1: live by this theory of pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
- 57:11Speaker 1: But just like I was speaking on Dr Ben Carson's
- 57:14Speaker 1: radio show, Armstrong Williams Radio Show with Dr Ben Carson
- 57:18Speaker 1: and Dr Ben Carson made the statement, the America is
- 57:21Speaker 1: a country where we are to pull yourself up by
- 57:23Speaker 1: the bootstrap. I said, Okay, cool, not trying to fend
- 57:26Speaker 1: nobody here, but let me say this to you. If
- 57:29Speaker 1: you don't have bootstraps, if you don't have boots. See,
- 57:35Speaker 1: that's the problem with the Conservative Party. Sometimes they act
- 57:39Speaker 1: as though because you're an American you are born with
- 57:43Speaker 1: boots and bootstraps. That's not the case. That's just not
- 57:48Speaker 1: the case with a lot of Americans. And a lot
- 57:50Speaker 1: of Americans happen to come from impoverished neighborhoods, rule and
- 57:54Speaker 1: urban so not what you because they are more white
- 57:57Speaker 1: people on welfare and black people. So what you're talking
- 58:01Speaker 1: about is when you just come from rule and urban
- 58:04Speaker 1: areas that don't get the funding that these suburban areas
- 58:07Speaker 1: get because they don't have the income. Because you your
- 58:10Speaker 1: tax basis is based on what your zip code pays
- 58:13Speaker 1: in taxes. You come from poor place, you get less funding,
- 58:17Speaker 1: and the and the beat goes on, pull yourself up
- 58:19Speaker 1: by your bootstep. Now we ain't got none. We don't
- 58:23Speaker 1: have none, man. Yeah, that's the sad situation it is.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And and my Trump been riched his whole life, so
- 58:30Speaker 1: he doesn't understand you define this. And that's the majority
- 58:35Speaker 1: of them that run that division, that party. They ain't
- 58:39Speaker 1: never been without what you know? All right, we got
- 58:43Speaker 1: to move on. Now tell me come on, introduce the letter.
- 58:46Speaker 1: It's their time. Buckle up, hold on tights, y'all. Letter
- 58:49Speaker 1: twenty three. All right, this one is not necessarily for kids.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Do I want to point that out? Subject secrets, I
- 58:59Speaker 1: keep your Shirley and Steve. I've been keeping a secret
- 59:02Speaker 1: from my man and I need your advice. I joined
- 59:05Speaker 1: a local swingers club a little over two years ago,
- 59:08Speaker 1: and my sexual appetite desires being with more than one
- 59:13Speaker 1: My sexual appetite desires being with more than just one man.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I've been with my boyfriend now for six months. I
- 59:20Speaker 1: really want to tell him about my other life, but
- 59:23Speaker 1: I don't know how. I've hinted around at the idea
- 59:26Speaker 1: of us going to the parties as a couple, and
- 59:28Speaker 1: the idea of us becoming swingers and for play. He
- 59:31Speaker 1: will say yes, but on the night of the party,
- 59:33Speaker 1: he doesn't want to go, so I have to make
- 59:36Speaker 1: up a story about where I'm going for the evening.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I've tried to stop going, but I simply can't. I'm
- 59:43Speaker 1: stuck between my fantasy and the real world. I'm not
- 59:47Speaker 1: sure if I want to stop if I need to stop.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I like the swingers lifestyle. It's very addictive and very satisfying.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I can be who I want, when I want without
- 59:58Speaker 1: any redding, um, reddy fuel or negative feedback. It's a
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: world of complete bliss and fulfillment. However, I do enjoy
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: my man in bed and we are, and we are
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: a very passionate couple. It's just that I need more
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: than what he's giving me. I have a very insatiable
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: appetite and I don't believe any one man can satisfy
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: me at this time in my life. I do appreciate
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the idea of being with just one man, and I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: do care about his feelings, but I haven't been completely
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: honest about my other sex life. Surely should I be
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: honest with him or just leave things the way they are?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Even if you don't, even if you do not read
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: this letter on the air, can you please give me
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: some advice via email? Thanks Shirley, Thanks Steve, Sincerely, A
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: dear A, you know what, if this is your lifestyle
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and you're so cool with it and all, I think
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you really need to be honest with your man. I
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: think your man needs to know what type of person
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: that he's dealing with, because you know, you say that
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: you really are into this lifestyle and you really like it,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: uh and you know it gives you fulfillment and complete
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: bliss and all of that. You know, I'm not one
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: that believes in telling everything about your past and everything,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: but if it were the other way around, you know,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: you would want to know this about your man um,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you know. But here's the deal, though, I really don't
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: think he's gonna stay around if you tell him. I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: really don't think that although he says he will go
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to these parties, he never goes um you know when
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: he says he will. So so here are your choices,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned. Your choices are to tell
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: him be free, you know, living complete bliss and have
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: your life fulfilled and all of that, because that's where
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you are in your life right now, or and probably
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: lose your man of six months. You're probably gonna lose him,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: or find someone you know who can fit into your
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: swinging lifestyle. Maybe somebody you know they're at the swinging parties.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: You do, I need to hook up there part to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: go down there and be there, and that I need
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to hook up. Then I'll be swinging so hard you'll
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: be di your man. I really feel in this girls,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: so you know, I say, be honest with him, but
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: he's not gonna he's not gonna stay around. I got
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: a pardner listening to this radio show right now. That's all.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I'll be surprised when we get through if he don't
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: call me right now and ask for her email. You
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: need to email at just though. Hey you can you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: be that? And all you have a won't it? Email
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: us for your comments at Strawberry Letters coming so hard.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: He pushed you and then you push you. Gonta say

- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: come on, Steve with your response to today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Part two. Dear Shirley and Steve, I've been keeping a
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: secret from my man, and I need your advice. I
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: joined the local swingers club a little over two years ago,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and my sexual appetite desires being with more than just
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: one man. Oh, and my sexual appetite desires being with
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: more than just one man. I've been with my boyfriend
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: now for six months. I really want to tell him
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: about mother life, but I don't know how. I have
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: hinted around at the idea of us going to the
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: parties as a couple, and the idea of us becoming
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: swingers and for play. He would say yes, but on
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: the night of the party he doesn't want to go,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: so I have to make up a story about where
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I'm going for the evening. I've tried to stop going,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: but I simply can't. I'm stuck between my fantasy and
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: the real world. I'm not sure if I want to stop,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: if I need to stop. I like the swingers lifestyle
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: is very addictive and very satisfying. I could be who
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I won't when I won't without any ridicular negative feedback.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: It's a world of complete bliss and fulfillment. However, I
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: do enjoy my man in bed, and we are very
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: passionate couple. It's just said, I need more than what
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: he's given me. I have instational appetite, and I don't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: believe only one man can satisfy me at this time
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: in my life. I do appreciate the idea of being
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: just one man. I do appreciate the idea of being
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: with just one man, and I do care about his feelings,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: but I haven't been completely honest about my other sex life. Shirley.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Should I be honest with him or just leave things
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: the way they are? Even if you do not read
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: this on there, can you please give me some advice
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: via email? Thanks Shirley, Thanks Steve, sincerely. A. The key
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: word in this letter is A, and a's proper pronunciation
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: is uh. Okay, oh lady, you are what Let's go
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: over this here we're dealing with all who see. First
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: of all, there's no mention of love in this letter.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You don't love your boyfriend. You ain't in love with
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: your boyfriend, You ain't in love with yourself. You obviously
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: don't love yourself. So love is out the window. So
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: now I'm asking you what is the letter for you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: ask your boy to be a swing and he jokingly said, yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you ask him go to parties and swings? Dude, he said, yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: they're no night of he don't want to go. Then
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you gotta make up a reason for you to lead
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: a house and now you go do it yourself. Uh.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I don't know what to say about you. Lady, except
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you just off. Let me ask you this question. What
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: is the boyfriend about? I mean, what is that about?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: He's not satisfying to you. It's not what you want.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Why don't you let him go? Because there are plenty
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: women out there who would love a man of down.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: You obviously don't want a man of your own. You
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: want to be this little brothel type babe for all
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: these other men and women. That's what you want to be,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: a little passed around pack. You want to get passed
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: around because see you're a lady, and I'm sorry, I
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: hate to break this. You ain't doing nobody. You're being done.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: You're just over at the joint getting done. You ain't
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: doing nobody. Let me help you understand about the mindset
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: of man. Let me teach you something about us. You're
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: not doing us when you're in a swing of situation
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: or club situation, you're just getting done. Because see, once
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: we can get in a situation where it ain't nothing
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: but about that, then lord him mercy. You ain't gonna
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: get called no good names. You don't get no flowers,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: no candy. You don't even get the trappings of get
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: being taken to dinner we're just doing you. So now
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: you're just passing your little self around. Not a confusing
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: part is And this is what throws me. This is
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: why I say, what's two boyfriend about? I like the
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: swingers lifestyle is very addictive and very satisfied. I could
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: be who I want when I want without any ridicular
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: negative feedback. It's a world of complete bliss and fulfillment. Okay,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: then you have found what the world is searching for.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I mean, man talk, I mean really, you found what
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: we all have been looking for. You have found a
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: world that is so satisfying and it's complete bliss and fulfillment.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: What congratulations. You're the only person I know that has
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: died still living and going to heaven. So now that
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: you've completed that cycle of life, I don't even see
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: what else you got to live for. You're at the
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Swingers Club. It's the most complete bliss and fulfillment and
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: that ok what why are you waking up? Stay at
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: the club, day at the Swingers club and keep getting done.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I don't know how you Oh you are on this
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: letter is not stated in it anywhere, but you know
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: what you you just you're too far out there for me. Baby.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. I have a
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: very insatiable appetite and I don't believe only one man
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: can satisfy me at this time in my life. That
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: sounds just like a prostitute to me. I don't know
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: how you I enjoy. I do enjoy my man in bed.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: You enjoy your man in bed? Oh, man in bed? Day,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: man in bed, oly man at the bed, anybody standing
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: by the bed, all the people that's looking in at
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the bed, the people that put the sheets on the bed.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I like demand. That made the matchss so it became
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: a bed. I thank you, Steve. You know we have
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: to get out of here. Email us or Instagram. That's

- 1:09:14Speaker 1: should say, do my strawberry fresh pick of the weekend
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: trending topics. So please join me. And you know, we've
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: learned that Chuck D and Flavor Flame will still share stage. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: while the public enemy hype man fights for his share
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: of money. He says he's owed. Okay, so they're having
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: a little beef there. Chuck D responded to Flames lawsuits,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: saying the group's co founder took the wrong approach to
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: dealing with this issue. Chuck D says they'll play together
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: on a future stage and that he's happy to address
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: flaves concerns, but wants to make sure his partner will
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: be woke in rehearsal studio. Uh, and all the members
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: do worldwide. All right, let's go to break. We'll be back. Yeah, BOI,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: you're listening to the morning show. All right, So I
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: see we have here little mean things. I know it's me.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: That is all me. This is all this is all me.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I have been dubbed the meanest person here. Don't you're
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: not really a mean person? Is hell? Old bitter? This
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: grunt he very good? Take all that. Yeah, this little
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: things that give me enlightenment, A little mean things that
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I like to do, you actually do? Yeah, like Okay,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: if I see somebody's dog using like using outside, I
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: like to hunk the horn real loud, and I didn't
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: right in the middle. Try to just make him do
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: that just such and enjoy. Yeah. Like if I see
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: somebody running for the elevator, I'm on the elevator and
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: hold it down. I'm coming. I act like I'm holding
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: the door, but I go through the mode. You can
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: make it. Come on, man, come on, act like you Yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I didn't stop pushing that button. And then when that
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: dope close, I love back down to me, right back down.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: That's fun. If I see somebody in the store, his
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: wife or his girlfriends, oh my god, just so much
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: like when they're not looking for condoms and looting your basket.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: When they get down, get your friends. Put that chick.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: See that look on when I see little old ladies
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: crossing the street. When you walk in that we didn't
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: get ready in front of Just hit the ghit, hit
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: that gay your foot on the brake right, get that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: looking face straight up. I'm that guy. I don't mind
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: taking your party space. I don't mind if I see
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: you waiting, how did I get up in there? Don't
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: you wait? You're gonna work out for you. I love
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: to do this. I love to go to a restaurant
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: in the restaurant I go to in my birthday. Get
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: that check, you know, but you gotta say it low.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: You know you love diabetic and he's getting take your day.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: If I'm in church right and you got your baby
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: face to me, I'm gonna make him cry. Parents. Turn

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and ladies stories back in the biggest the big shops,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: and you switch the sizes right. You put side six

- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Come down. It's coming out right so much. Just the
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: last one right here on, just the last one, hitchas,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Oh my god, that the bets the best because you
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: know they've been out there for a while. You stopped
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: by two blocks up and you had to where you
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: got what come on that way? Didn't you drive your
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: heads just to watch him in the ride? Look, Oh
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: my god, I know people still here when that was
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: the best he got broke down right, and you see
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: it on his faith. You hit that but and up
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: you want lock all his hes up. Nobody going down. Man.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: My favorite got to be the old lady on that wolf.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Come ready, but didn't they turn it crut you off?
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Because they can't do that. Just Ross, I know you
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: put them condoms in that bad trying to figure out
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: which one of y'all? Right, who this fuss? You got

- 1:16:43Speaker 1: things like with a couple of parties and this this dude,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: fat dude kept getting me. My boy told him say, man,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: come by one more. Alright, coming up one of our
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: favorite segments, The ignorance does not stop on this show,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: right or wrong? With the nephew and junior coming up.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: you're in this. This is your segment. You have to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: judge it's time for right or wrong with the nephew
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: and Junior take it away. Well this week, what's the debate? Well,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I mean i've been you know, you know you since
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Junior over there writing for you now and now he
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: ain't really got time for me, so I had anybody.

- 1:17:39Speaker 1: just he cussing me out. Be a text. Okay, this
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: is what I texting on. And you tell me what
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: you think. Tell this boy, if you break a mirror
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: with a rabbit's foot, you even ain't no bad little
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: coming down. If you break the mirror with a rabbit's foot,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you're even You're not gonna get this seven. Nothing's going
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: to happen to get even, believe it. That's I don't
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: really understand where he's coming from with that. I don't
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: know why he thinks like that. That right there is
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: some ignorant thinking. Ain't a rabbit foot good luck? And
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: then the good little mirror bad luck there's been in years?
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Right now if you break it with a saying no, no,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: nobody sees that. Well, the thing about this segment is
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I agree with that thing. He said, thank you, thank you.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: He'll go the one he didn't even respond to. I see,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: if you milt dry ice, you can take a bath
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: and not get with That's that's the stupidest thing. I
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: can't you yourself then listen, Wait, okay, wait, what if
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: you melt dry ice, you can take a bath and
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: not get where? You have to keep explaining it to them.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: They don't understand you, do you guys? Listen with your
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: eyes Quinn, don't make no okay, because I know it's
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: gonna make sense that you call right there. He he
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: hit me back with a bunch of courtion mark. When
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I text this one. I see in Rome the paramedics
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: called I VS. Force they forced. They're not I VS.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: They forced. You See what I'm saying, how don't make

- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to say that way makes sense to me. You supposed
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: to be saying something here. I'm not only want to
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: understand it. You don't get it. See, I don't even
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: see why you damn about a I V. Phone. Well,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you just need to know what to call it. And
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: their fours over there. You don't want to be in
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: wrong saying I V is ain't not gonna know what
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you're talking about. If you're sicking you in Rome, you
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: need a four. You need to tell him that it
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: was the Romans. But come, okay, okay, we were talking
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: about the greatest we were talking about. Now this we
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: did have conversations. We're talking about the greatest mysteries in
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: the world, the greatest mystery. And he was going through
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: these books and he was talking about these are mysteries
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and then you know, like uh Bermuda Triangle. He thought
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: these were like great mysteries. I told him, now you're
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: telling me, if I'm right on, there's only two great
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: mysteries that nobody knows about. And I told him, nobody
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: knows how the door on the bus closes after the
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: driver gets off. You know what I'm saying. You know
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying, That great mystery how that door gets
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: closed when the driver gets off and going, And that's
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: a great mystery, not on the body, not on the bus.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: How no he gets off? Okay, now here's another one
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: that I tell him was a great mystery. Then it
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with no books and stuff.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Like I said, listen, nobody knows how the man who
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: drives the snow plow gets to work? How does he
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: get there? You know what I'm saying, Man, he puts
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: so much start into these. Okay, I'm telling me that.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: How does the man that dry the snowplow, that plows
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the streets before people go to work? How does he
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: get to water his hose? He just backing out the drive.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Cleveland's in the build that house. Why do you sound
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: like he's getting here? Because I don't. Since you think
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: anything at I can tell you go ahead and time
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and ask me all of them. Let me just go
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: startable with all of them, and I'll just give you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: the real answers. Go ahead, Well, I have more, I
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: have some things I want to No, No, I mean,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I mean you can go back to the beginning and
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I give you real answers to it, because I'm sick
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: of it. Okay, Well let's go to this here. If
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: you melt dry ice, you can take a bath and
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: not get wet. But you're gonna burn your gass up.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Next question, come out? Tell junor in Rome the paramedic
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: is called I VS are four? That my favorite? But
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: what you're gonna need dough? Then it's just for I
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: V nerves? Go ahead? What else you got? But then
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: it was then it was the mystery. You know, nobody
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: knows how the door on the bus closes after they
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: needed old mom, and then nobody knows what you already
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: said that one. Okay, here'll go the last one one moment,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: all right, tell him that man evolved from the monkey.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Oh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: wait wait, we gotta go to break. You're listening to
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right? Uh, okay, nephew, going
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: with your last right? A wrong? JUNI can I do
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the last one? Man? Go ahead? We're talking to me why,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know what the problem
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I want to get? Okay, sure, surely just stay with me.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Man evolved from monkey? Right? Uh? Now? From eight? From eight? Am? I? Right? No,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: just go ahead, stupid, I'm all I told him was
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: if man evolved from monkey, the monkeys that are here
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: now just ain't turned into man yet yeah, to give
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: them time. Well, let me ask you this question. Uh,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: if man came from monkey, why I still monkeys? That's
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. You gotta give them time. They
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: just ain't how much time they need because it's been
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: thousands of years so far. I came here already. Man,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: I'm not with you. Just done this weekend. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: this past weekend. I forgot to tell you. Got it?
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I know that's a professional chef. Was a Whole Food
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: and people bumb rushed the Whole food with signs picketing
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: meat eaters. If you had meat in your grocery cart,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: they took it out. They had signs like animals want
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to live too, and they took out all your meat
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: and put it on count They stood in front of
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: the Whole Foods meat counter and they boycotted anybody that
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: was in there eating meat. That's wrong. You know, I
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: stopped eating meat, but I ain't bother. Nobody don't want
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: to eat me but taking But it's not right. It's
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: not right of you to enforce your beliefs or someone else. Look,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: that's no better than the skinheads and clu klux Klan
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: marching to spread their beliefs and people don't want to
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: hear that. If you don't want to be a vegan,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: you don't have to be. If you don't want to
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: be a meat either, it's perfectly I have two children
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: that's vegans. You don't have to be a meat either.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: But you can't come to my house or to the
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: store and take my meat out my counter and put
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: it back because you don't want to eat me. Animals
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: want to live too. But a lot of y'all got
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: on leather shoes, you know them kids. You know a
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: lot of pigskin. Y'all playing football. You've got basketball, that's
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: pigs kid. You know a lot of that. So I
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. Look, man, it's okay that
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: you're vegan and I a port. People who want to
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: be vet. You can't stop me from eating meat because
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: that's not what you want to do. Animals want to
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: be I'm gonna your head. You ain't. I'm gonna tell
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: you right now. If I haven't paid for it, you
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: take it out of my bath. They're up at the
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: register and when you're trying to buy you oh, they
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: were all over this whole food and the shift that
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I know they told at all of them, and he
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: was going back and forth with him. He sayd Hey,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: y'all want to be vegans. That's cool, y, I got
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I gotta buy this meat. Wow, nobody's that's the whole
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: food on the soot walbart and stuff right there at
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: the register. You feel to get your an Wow. Young
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: people in the video, young people mostly, young people, old
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: people everyone. Yeah, I miss a lot of people with
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: signs that they had printed up. You just can't do that.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: It's wonderful to be a vegan. I support that. All right,
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: we'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: A really few depressing reasons someone will lie on a date, alright,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: depressing reasons, some good reasons. You want to hear these,
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: and then you give us yours, all right. They don't
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: believe they're good enough, so they'll lie. Make Uh. They
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: think of love, They think of love, of dating and
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: of relationships as a game, so they lie. They don't
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: know any better. They just don't know any better, so
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: they lie. I'm I'm lying. I'm not I'm laying. I'm
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: gonna yeah, and I know you guys have I'm not
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: gonna tell you if I want to be with you.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: That's just three reasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are the
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: three main ones. They don't believe they're good enough. They
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: think of it as a game, and they just simply
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: do know. It's not that you don't think you good enough.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: You're just making show you good enough. Yeah, build it up.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, that it that you don't thank you
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: good enough. Keep just trying to stack the day. How
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: much you make a year found you know, you know,
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: you make forty about you know, I get it. It's
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: a bonus at the end of the year. And then
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: they keep a hopeful of things gonna be. Yeah, I
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: just got this job, so I'm on pace. Yeah, my
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: bonus check at the end of you be three, hunting, sick,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: and nothing. Because they think it's a game. They just think,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: you know, dating, love and relationships. They think of it
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: as a game. It's just a game. So well, for
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: guys in the throwback business, it is a game. Some
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: girls into it for game too. They just want to
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: see if they can run their little situation and make
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: it work out, you know. And a lot of women
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: are playing the game now, so a lot of people
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: do think it's a game. It sounds to me like
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: you're justifying all this line that I'm not justifying nothing.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: But a lot of people think it's a game. Me
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: and the women now treat dating like a game. That's
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: why so many that's why families just broken the every
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: But everything jacked up now because TV show man that Catfish,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: that's unbelievable to me. Three years online with a person
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: didn't you're going to meet him. But I'm in a
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: damn stranger. Connor cart Man, this little dude, good looking,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: little black kid, was on Catfish. I went to see
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: this girl when man, you should have seen this girl. Dog.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to your dog to do on Catfish.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: I swear to God out of store because they know
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: what the person looked like. This big girl came to
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: this dope man. It was lying to my She not here,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: come back later. And the little dude, good looking, little
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: black dude. I couldn't understand it. Man, where you you
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: kid got to have plenty girl friends back in St. Louis.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: You're gonna caught this playing downhill. It's me that little
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: dude looks on. She finally came clean and said of me,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: what's what she looked like George Wallace, Mama, it was
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: you don't show called money. It's a room what mama,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: Joe yourself right now? Wow you wait? No no no wait,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: no wait no wait, It's time to get out of
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: here and close out the show we have. We'll be
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: back with just one more thing right after these jams. Jesus,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Just one more thing, Steve,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: we got to start off with ice Cube being your
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: your special guest today on your talk show, Steve Live
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: from Hollywood. Yea, yeah, ice Cube is gonna be greatness.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: What are you going to make sure? Yeah? Definitely. What
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: are you going to talk about telling you you get nothing? Teaser? Teaser,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: We're gonna tell it's gonna be okay. Yeah, man, I
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: got a video you need to see you on ice Cube?
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: Your love is okay? All right? Yeah? Could I make
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: you want to do so with your boys? Huh uh?
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: I was just as he got two sons, So come on,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: tell me answer the question he could do something with
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: these two sons. Why he can't everybody else doing something
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: with two sons? Just like Shade, I just through it.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I ain't had nothing in man. I ain't got no
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: joke for it, y'all just already laughing wrong. It's just
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: the way he said it. What you said. You know,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: maybe he won'ta do something with it too, Okay, Steve,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: me and my son and we'll do some frank calls.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: The Miles Boys got a frank seat. You could just
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: go out there and shoot jumpers in tracking block all
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: them on me so much dollar. Yeah, well, I mean,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: I'm sure I was going to talk about hip hop squares.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: I'm sure because that's coming back out. I love it.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: That's a good show. Yes, yes, Michael Blackson, Biba Brown, Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: I really like Mike Epps is on there. Yeah. Funny, Yeah,
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: he's funny. He is funny. But Michael black Man, did
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: you see the thing you did about Yes, we waited,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: we played it yeah last week. Yeah, um, you know
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: what he talked about giving and now is the time
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: since it's the last last break of the day. Um.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Disasters like Hurricane Harvey. We talked about this on the
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: show All Less. We bring out the best in people,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: it also brings out crooks and scammers. It brings out
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: the worst in people as well. People who want to
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: do people into thinking they're donating into real charitable organizations.
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: My pastor talked about this on Sunday, so please, our
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: advice is to double check and organization's website. Never give
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: money through a link in an email, Always go directly
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: to a site, and never donate to someone demanding cash
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: or a wire transfer. Okay, a lot of people are
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: just capitalizing, you know, on the on the flood and
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: and the aftermath and everything. So please, you know. UH,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: In the meantime, if you want to get involved and
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: you're not local, the American Red Cross UH still have
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: their donate online. UH. You can text the word Harvey
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: to nine Z can donate ten dollars there. Also, the
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: FEMA National Flood Insurance Program is going to end on
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: September unless Congress votes to renew it. And of course
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: this is right when thousands of people who lost everything
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: in Hurricane Harvey will be looking to the program for that.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: MS mean, to get rid of it. Would yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: not doing this crisis. I know, I know, I mean
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: you would really think you would think, but how many
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: times have you thought, yeah, I mean he showed up
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: selling hats, so you won't put nothing? There should be
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: a no brainer, Yeah, really absolutely. We heard earlier what
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: he's doing with Obamacare cutting that budget. So anyway, alright, Steve,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: we'll watch you today on your show. Congratulate hot Man.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: Need everybody's support on this one. Man. Really appreciate it,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: y'all always have. So that's good to go. Man. It's
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: a good show though it's very different. The old talk
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: show was gone, new talk show began. Well, I mean,
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: change is good, though, change you gotta be You gotta
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: can't be afraid to reinvent yourself. If you want to
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: stay where you at and you keep doing what you've
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: been doing, you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: You gotta try something, and I preach it, but you
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: gotta practice what you preach. And one thing you do
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: that you do change, You do reinvent yourself. You do
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: get tired of stuff and try. Yeah, you're never key.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: That was not me, just a lot that was not
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Can we talk about Lyne earlier? Yeah, yeah, that's great.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: Clearly it was you that was not me. Promise you.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: I don't you don't even see my keys, you know,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: j ol J got impatient, he ain't got time. I
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: don't never know he's got to go to ride on
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: your TV show, though, So when are you thinking about it?
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: It's a good thing that he's up to ask Steve
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: about it. When we tell people to DVR and record
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: your talk show, do they need to watch it the
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: same day? If you watch it within I think it's
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: pney four hour seven. If you watch it within seventy
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: two hours, I get to get credit. Okay, someone put
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: that out there. Okay, yeah, because a lot of people
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: are at work. Well, if you were watching that night,
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: because this this show is watch that work. Damn, watch
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: that work. You ain't doing that? Yeah, why not? But
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I know people who tape everything. It's better than it's
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: better than work. Watch it at work, the doctor's office.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: Change that, but Steve home. Yeah, but if you do,
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: if you do d v ard, it's great to watch
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: late at night. It's gonna be that good. That's cool
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: because you're not happy with your late night selection. Then
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: you can play this at night. Get Steve all right? Well,
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: you guys, go ahead, so you can catch your jobs
