- 0:01Speaker 1: President Trump yet again keeping it sweet and simple. At
- 0:05Speaker 1: the White House today in the Oval Office, he was
- 0:08Speaker 1: asked about what's happening with Iran, and the President had
- 0:11Speaker 1: this to say to the press.
- 0:13Speaker 2: We have ships heading to a run right now, big ones,
- 0:16Speaker 2: the biggest of the best.
- 0:17Speaker 3: And do we have talks going on with a run.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We'll see it all works out.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Well, see how it all works out?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Now.
- 0:25Speaker 1: This comes just days after the President had this to
- 0:28Speaker 1: say inside the Oval Office about Iran as well.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Okay, we have a large armada flotilla, got whatever you
- 0:38Speaker 4: want heading forward Iran right now, even larger than what
- 0:43Speaker 4: we had in Venezuela. It's still in front of the Venezuelan.
- 0:48Speaker 1: This showing the presence not bluffing. He also over the weekend,
- 0:52Speaker 1: when asked at mar Lago about what's happening in Iran,
- 0:55Speaker 1: said this, Why wouldn't.
- 0:57Speaker 5: He say that?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Push you're going to say that, But.
- 1:00Speaker 2: The biggest usabon offleships in the world over there very.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Close a couple of days, and hopefully we'll make a deal.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We don't make a deal then, and we'll find out
- 1:09Speaker 3: whether or not he.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Was right, find out or not whether he was right.
- 1:12Speaker 1: The President was referencing a Rand supreme leader warning of
- 1:16Speaker 1: a regional war if the US attacks Tehran, and the
- 1:20Speaker 1: President saying, hey, if we don't make a deal, then
- 1:22Speaker 1: we'll find out whether or not he was right, which
- 1:25Speaker 1: brings us to where we are right now. With all
- 1:28Speaker 1: of this, Wikoff has now said that the talks with
- 1:32Speaker 1: nukes will happen on Friday with Iran.
- 1:35Speaker 3: That's right.
- 1:36Speaker 1: The US Special Envoyd and the Iranian Foreign Minister are
- 1:40Speaker 1: expected to meet in Istanbul, marking a potential restart of
- 1:44Speaker 1: direct engagement between Washington and Tehran after months of stalled diplomacy.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Several Arab and Muslim countries are expected to send representatives
- 1:55Speaker 1: to the meeting, which ames discussed the framework for a
- 1:58Speaker 1: possible nuclear agreement that according to two source is familiar
- 2:03Speaker 1: with the planning and a US official. Another source described
- 2:07Speaker 1: Friday's meetings as the best case scenario following days of
- 2:11Speaker 1: diplomatic efforts to bring both sides back to the table now.
- 2:15Speaker 1: If it occurs, the meeting would be the first between
- 2:18Speaker 1: the US and the Iranian representative since talks collapsed last
- 2:21Speaker 1: year and a twelve day conflict that broke out in June.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It also comes during a significant US military build up
- 2:29Speaker 1: in the Gulf. President Trump has argued that a swift
- 2:32Speaker 1: agreement is the only alternative to military confrontation with Iran. Now,
- 2:37Speaker 1: a US administration source said the meeting in Turkey is
- 2:40Speaker 1: intended to develop an agreement that could in fact prevent escalation.
- 2:45Speaker 1: The Trump administration is also hoping that Iran will arrive
- 2:49Speaker 1: prepared to make concessions. The plan talks follow recent mediation
- 2:54Speaker 1: efforts by Turkey, Egypt, and Katar. They don't want war
- 2:58Speaker 1: in the Middle East because of instability that it can
- 3:01Speaker 1: cost for their own countries, and on Monday, the foreign
- 3:04Speaker 1: ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabian Egypt held further discussions about
- 3:09Speaker 1: the proposed meeting. Now, the Iranian state media reported that
- 3:13Speaker 1: the president has ordered renewed negotiations with the Trump administrations.
- 3:19Speaker 1: In fact, in a speech on Monday to Iran and
- 3:22Speaker 1: the people they're watching, they said they were quote open
- 3:25Speaker 1: to diplomacy, saying, quote but diplomacy is incompatible with pressure, intimidation,
- 3:32Speaker 1: and force. We hope that it results will soon become evident.
- 3:37Speaker 1: A key obstacle also remains unsolved. The Trump administration has
- 3:42Speaker 1: insisted that any agreement address Iran's nuclear program, its missile development,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and regional proxy forces. They're the biggest funders of terrorism.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Hamas and has blocked. Iran maintains that only nuclear issues
- 3:57Speaker 1: are quote negotiable. In other words, they still I want
- 4:00Speaker 1: to sponsor terrorist proxies in the Middle East and around
- 4:03Speaker 1: the world. Now, it remains unclear how Witkoff and Iran's
- 4:08Speaker 1: leadership would bridge that divide. Obviously, that's part of the
- 4:12Speaker 1: art of the deal, and that's part of why the
- 4:14Speaker 1: President of the United States of America said, I'm not wasting time.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I'm going to send her military resources to that part
- 4:20Speaker 1: of the world.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Now.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Ahead of the Istanbul meeting, Witkoff was to travel to
- 4:25Speaker 1: Israel and meet with the Prime Minister there at Netanyahu's request.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Witkoff is also scheduled to meet with General Zamir, the
- 4:34Speaker 1: Israeli Defensive Force chief of staff, who recently briefed US
- 4:38Speaker 1: military leaders on Israel's planning for a potential conflict with Iran.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Witkoff will then travel to Abu Dhabi, United Air of
- 4:46Speaker 1: Emirates for trilateral talks also involving Russia and Ukraine on
- 4:51Speaker 1: Wednesday and Thursday, and Trump's son in law Jered Kushner
- 4:54Speaker 1: is expected to participate as well. From there, the White House,
- 4:58Speaker 1: staying busy with Witkoff. Van Kushner said to travel to
- 5:01Speaker 1: Qatar for discussions on Iran with the Qatar's Prime minister,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and before the meeting, they'll also stop in Istanbul on Friday. Now,
- 5:10Speaker 1: the foreign ministers were being told from Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Oman,
- 5:15Speaker 1: the United Air of Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are
- 5:19Speaker 1: all planning to attend. You've got to ask yourself this question. Why,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Because they're all very concerned about what happens with Iran
- 5:27Speaker 1: and the instability it can cause in their countries and
- 5:30Speaker 1: also if there's an all out war between Iran and
- 5:33Speaker 1: Israel or Ran in the US. Right, these are real
- 5:36Speaker 1: problems that they want to make sure don't happen for
- 5:39Speaker 1: them personally. Now, Trump said on Sunday that it remains
- 5:43Speaker 1: quote hopeful for a deal after Rand's leader warned that
- 5:48Speaker 1: any US attack could trigger a regional war. But at
- 5:53Speaker 1: the end of the day, this is all up to
- 5:55Speaker 1: President Trump. Now, there are some thank goodness in the
- 5:58Speaker 1: media that understand that present Trump's do an amazing job
- 6:01Speaker 1: when it comes to dealing with these types of dictators
- 6:04Speaker 1: and leaders, whether it's Venezuela or Cuba or Iran. Even
- 6:09Speaker 1: on HBO, Bill Maher giving credit to the President of
- 6:12Speaker 1: United States of America for his leadership, saying this.
- 6:15Speaker 5: You know, we've seen these demonstrations in Iran before, but
- 6:18Speaker 5: this was bigger and more people have died. But I
- 6:23Speaker 5: think maybe more people have died because he said he
- 6:26Speaker 5: was going to help. This looks like a bay of pigs.
- 6:29Speaker 5: To me, This looks like America is going to come
- 6:31Speaker 5: and help you. Where is it this? Remember the courage
- 6:34Speaker 5: in ninety one when they thought they were going to
- 6:36Speaker 5: get help from America. Vietnam could make the same claim.
- 6:39Speaker 5: I mean a lot of people have felt let down
- 6:41Speaker 5: by US. I thought Trump was different. Where are you
- 6:43Speaker 5: on this because all these bodies that I see, these
- 6:47Speaker 5: body bags in Iran, I think a lot of those
- 6:51Speaker 5: people went in the streets because they thought, oh, he
- 6:53Speaker 5: said he's got our back this time.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Where's the help.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Well, the generals have told us that short of sending
- 7:01Speaker 6: in a massive number of troops, it will be another raq.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Well, then what did he mean when he said I
- 7:07Speaker 5: don't know?
- 7:08Speaker 6: But if you look at it from the larger if
- 7:14Speaker 6: you look at it from a larger perspective, because of Israel.
- 7:18Speaker 6: This is one person's opinion. Because of Israel and President
- 7:22Speaker 6: Trump's backing visory, the Middle East is safer than it
- 7:26Speaker 6: has been in twenty years. Absolutely, Sneeze has boss Sneeze.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I gave him credit for that.
- 7:33Speaker 6: No longer looks invincible. And you know, and you know
- 7:36Speaker 6: who is applauding us every step of the way, not
- 7:38Speaker 6: out loud, but the Arab countries.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Look if every one of them, if Venezuela and causes
- 7:45Speaker 5: Cuba to fall, if he somehow gets Venezuela, Cuba, and
- 7:49Speaker 5: Iran all to be not these horrible places they were,
- 7:53Speaker 5: he should get a Nobel Peace Prize.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He should get a Nobel Peace Prize. I got to
- 7:58Speaker 1: give credit there to Bill Maher. You heard Senner Kennedy
- 8:01Speaker 1: laying it out, and he agreed with him. He said
- 8:03Speaker 1: he was absolutely right. And I wish there was more
- 8:05Speaker 1: in the media that would actually cover this honestly, the
- 8:09Speaker 1: way that Bill Maher just talked about it. President Donald
- 8:13Speaker 1: Trump doing another sit down interview talking about a wide
- 8:17Speaker 1: range of issues, and we're going to get into many
- 8:20Speaker 1: of those, but one of the ones that was very
- 8:22Speaker 1: important to the president was dealing with Iran, saying that
- 8:25Speaker 1: Iran would be foolish not to make a nuclear missile deal.
- 8:29Speaker 1: He also talked about sending a second aircraft carrier to
- 8:33Speaker 1: the region, Trump warning I Ran, don't be foolish and
- 8:37Speaker 1: get a deal done now. The comments landed hours after
- 8:42Speaker 1: Axios reported that Trump is considering sending his second aircraft
- 8:45Speaker 1: carrier strike group to the Middle East. If negotiations collapse,
- 8:50Speaker 1: either we will make a deal or we will not
- 8:52Speaker 1: have a deal, and we'll have to do something very tough,
- 8:54Speaker 1: like last time. Trump told Axos, adding we have an
- 8:58Speaker 1: armada that is heading there, and another one might be going.
- 9:03Speaker 1: A US official also confirmed discussions about deploying another strike group,
- 9:08Speaker 1: ACXOS reported in addition to the USS Abraham Lincoln in
- 9:11Speaker 1: its strike group. And this is clearly a build up
- 9:14Speaker 1: that Trump is framed as both leverage and the alternative
- 9:19Speaker 1: to diplomacy. In that context, Last Time is a direct
- 9:23Speaker 1: reference to the Operation Midnight Hammer, the US strikes on
- 9:27Speaker 1: Iran's nuclear sykes roughly six months ago to cap the
- 9:31Speaker 1: twelve day Israel Iran War, a precedent Trump is explicitly
- 9:36Speaker 1: holding up as the consequences of Iranian defiance, that threat
- 9:41Speaker 1: of escalation is colliding with Tehran's declared red lines. Irana's
- 9:47Speaker 1: publicly insisted negotiations being limited strictly to nuclear enrichment levels,
- 9:53Speaker 1: not enrichment itself, and has rejected any discussion of missiles
- 9:59Speaker 1: or regional pro forces that would be them supporting Hezblahamas
- 10:03Speaker 1: and other terrorist organizations. And that's where the fueling of
- 10:07Speaker 1: the skepticism in Washington as well as an Israel in
- 10:11Speaker 1: Jerusalem that a comprehensive deal is well maybe not even
- 10:15Speaker 1: realistic with Iran. The Israeli Prime Minister net Yahoo is
- 10:20Speaker 1: also set to meet with President Trump today at the
- 10:23Speaker 1: White House, with Iram being the first and foremost issue
- 10:27Speaker 1: on the agenda. Netnyahu said he has departed for Washington,
- 10:31Speaker 1: adding he will represent the essential principles he argues are
- 10:36Speaker 1: vital not only for Israel, but to everyone around the
- 10:40Speaker 1: world who wants peace and security in the Middle East. Now,
- 10:45Speaker 1: this also comes as US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Kakabee,
- 10:48Speaker 1: speaking before boarding a flight to Washington, Netnyaho's said there
- 10:51Speaker 1: is quote extraordinary alignment between Israel and the United States
- 10:56Speaker 1: on Iran while stressing the outcome ultimately depends on Tehran's choices.
- 11:03Speaker 1: On the Iranian side, officials moved quickly to reinforce their position.
- 11:07Speaker 1: The Iranian Foreign minister said Tuesday that Israel is attempting
- 11:12Speaker 1: to sabotage diplomacy and warned US officials not to allow
- 11:16Speaker 1: outside actors a shape American foreign policy, while also criticizing
- 11:21Speaker 1: new sanctions announced after the Oman meetings took place. Now,
- 11:26Speaker 1: this isn't all that the President dealt with today. In
- 11:29Speaker 1: the interview, he also talked about the border and how
- 11:32Speaker 1: important it is that we have a secure border. Here's
- 11:36Speaker 1: what President Trump had to say on Fox Business with
- 11:38Speaker 1: Larry Kudlow.
- 11:40Speaker 2: We have the strongest border in the history of our country.
- 11:44Speaker 2: We have Democrat people giving us the statistics that no
- 11:48Speaker 2: people have come into a country illegally in the last
- 11:52Speaker 2: seen months. Even I can't believe that totally, but I'll
- 11:55Speaker 2: take it. But essentially, no people have come in. Nobody's
- 11:58Speaker 2: coming through a border. They only come in legally. We've
- 12:01Speaker 2: done an unbelievable job. I don't think we've given any credit.
- 12:04Speaker 2: One of the problems that I find in politics. So
- 12:08Speaker 2: I got elected to a large extent on the border.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I've done such a good job on the border that
- 12:14Speaker 2: nobody wants to talk about it anymore. Like when I
- 12:16Speaker 2: mentioned border, sir, they don't want to hear about it.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You solve that problem. I don't get any credit for anything.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I mean, I do these things. You would say I've
- 12:24Speaker 2: done a great job at the border, right nobody coming in.
- 12:27Speaker 2: We have a strong border. Drugs are way down, you know.
- 12:30Speaker 2: By knocking out those boats. We have dropped drugs spent
- 12:34Speaker 2: about thirty three percent.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And now we're going to start on land.
- 12:38Speaker 2: We had to do the boats first because they would
- 12:40Speaker 2: go immediately to the boats. If you hit them on land,
- 12:43Speaker 2: they go to the boat. So we do the boats first.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Now there are no boats. Now we're going to hit
- 12:46Speaker 2: them on the land. We're going to hit them very
- 12:48Speaker 2: hard on land. We've knocked down drugs every one of
- 12:51Speaker 2: those boats. It's nasty, but every one of those boats
- 12:54Speaker 2: that shot down in the seas you've been watching it,
- 12:58Speaker 2: we saved twenty five thousand America lives. So we've done
- 13:01Speaker 2: a great job. The problem is that I'm not sure
- 13:04Speaker 2: that people see it. Maybe we have a public relations
- 13:08Speaker 2: problem because I don't know that we get it out
- 13:11Speaker 2: the way child, because I don't think anybody has had
- 13:14Speaker 2: a more successful first year as a president than I
- 13:17Speaker 2: have with all.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Of the things we did.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And then in the previous administration, my previous my first term,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I rebuilt the military and that's why we had venezuela
- 13:28Speaker 2: tremendous success. As you know, we have a massive flotilla
- 13:33Speaker 2: right now going over to Iran. We'll see what happens.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I think they want to make a deal. I think
- 13:38Speaker 2: they'd be foolish if they didn't. We took out their
- 13:41Speaker 2: nuclear power last time, and we'll have to see we
- 13:43Speaker 2: take out more this time.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Do you think a deal with you Iran?
- 13:47Speaker 3: Now?
- 13:47Speaker 1: The President also talked about the issue with sanctuary cities
- 13:51Speaker 1: as well. And here's where you had to say about
- 13:53Speaker 1: the criminals that are being protected by so many liberals.
- 13:57Speaker 7: It just seems to me, in generally, we're large. If
- 14:01Speaker 7: you abide by the immigration laws, stop all this sanctuary
- 14:06Speaker 7: city business, that's the most affordable thing possible you save.
- 14:11Speaker 7: I mean, I look at what's happened in New York, Okay,
- 14:14Speaker 7: what Mayor Adams had to spend. He's spent a fortune
- 14:17Speaker 7: on ten twelve billion dollars maybe fifteen billion dollars because
- 14:22Speaker 7: he was giving money away to illegals, many of whom
- 14:25Speaker 7: are criminal illegals. I mean, it seems to me if
- 14:28Speaker 7: those laws are upheld, if sanctuary cities, for example, are defunded,
- 14:33Speaker 7: as you have talked about Lindsey Graham has talked about,
- 14:37Speaker 7: that's an affordability issue. There are huge savings there and
- 14:40Speaker 7: you can go after the waste for aud of them.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So Lindsey Graham is really hot on getting rid of
- 14:45Speaker 2: sanctuary So I'm backing him one hundred percent. We got
- 14:48Speaker 2: to do it. We're hot, and it's sort of the
- 14:50Speaker 2: Security Act you could call it, but we have to
- 14:53Speaker 2: do it. You know, sanctuary cities are only good for people.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It's sanctuary for criminals. Okay, they are protecting criminals. Those
- 15:01Speaker 2: states could hand those people over to us, their crime
- 15:04Speaker 2: would go down. We'd get them out of the country.
- 15:08Speaker 2: They can't do what we could do. We can get
- 15:10Speaker 2: them out of the country. They can't do it. But
- 15:12Speaker 2: they're sanctuaries for criminals. They have the word, they have killers,
- 15:15Speaker 2: they have drug lords, they have trend de Iragua all
- 15:19Speaker 2: over the place.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Now.
- 15:20Speaker 1: President Trump was also asked about the Minnesota fraud scandal,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and here's what he had to say about that.
- 15:28Speaker 7: So you're going to still go after the whole waste fraud.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Well, yeah, in Minnesota. Take a look at Minnesota. So
- 15:34Speaker 2: we think it's at least nineteen billion dollars of fraud, medical,
- 15:39Speaker 2: every fraud.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Somalia has come in here.
- 15:42Speaker 2: What they've done to our country, these people they've come
- 15:45Speaker 2: into our country, and what they've done with that fake congresswoman,
- 15:50Speaker 2: she's so bad.
- 15:52Speaker 3: No, we're going to get to the bottom of it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: We have the best, We have the best people in
- 15:56Speaker 2: the maybe in the whole country. Looking at that, well,
- 16:00Speaker 2: looking at California too, because Californias was But you know,
- 16:04Speaker 2: if we find fifty percent, you know, look, they've been
- 16:09Speaker 2: robbing and ripping off this country for many years, for decades. Right,
- 16:13Speaker 2: if we find fifty percent of what's happened, we have
- 16:17Speaker 2: a balanced budget without cutting anybody.
- 16:20Speaker 3: We have a balanced budget, and we'll find it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Minnesota's very corrupt, California is very corrupt.
- 16:26Speaker 3: A lot of states are very corrupt.
- 16:29Speaker 1: You think about the tax issue there, He says, we
- 16:32Speaker 1: have a balanced budget if we can just cut out
- 16:34Speaker 1: half of the corruption, that's how much is out there
- 16:39Speaker 1: that is being wasted of your tax dollars as we speak.
- 16:43Speaker 1: The President also had this to say about the future
- 16:46Speaker 1: in this country for Americans when it comes to home
- 16:50Speaker 1: ownership and interest rates. And also he was asked about
- 16:55Speaker 1: the FED chair pick.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Take a listen.
- 16:58Speaker 7: Do you know you wanted Kevin Warsh So officially it
- 17:02Speaker 7: was two fridays ago, but when did you.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Well, I made a mistake. He was runner up if
- 17:07Speaker 3: you want to see he was a finalist. Yeah, he was.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And I made a mistake because I had somebody that
- 17:12Speaker 2: was my Secretary of the Treasury wanted him so badly,
- 17:17Speaker 2: so badly, and you know, I didn't feel good about him,
- 17:21Speaker 2: but sometimes you listen to people, and it was a mistake.
- 17:24Speaker 2: It was really a big mistake. But I think we're
- 17:28Speaker 2: going to do something that's really spectacular. And then Biden
- 17:31Speaker 2: renewed him, which was shocking to me. That was bad
- 17:33Speaker 2: because Biden renewed him. I said, oh boy, this is
- 17:36Speaker 2: loastly because if I win, I'm going to inherit this guy.
- 17:39Speaker 3: For a period of time.
- 17:39Speaker 7: Can I just raise one point?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Well, he has to do his lower interest rates.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Interest rates should be lower, you know, every point is
- 17:46Speaker 2: six hundred billion dollars. Think of that, six hundred billion
- 17:51Speaker 2: dollars only has to do if we went down two points,
- 17:55Speaker 2: we don't have a deficit anymore. And that's without cutting
- 17:58Speaker 2: and it's just a paper charge, which when you think
- 18:00Speaker 2: about it, it's a paper charge. We should be the
- 18:03Speaker 2: lowest interest.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Rate in the world.
- 18:05Speaker 2: The reason I bring up the Switzerland because we should
- 18:08Speaker 2: be lower than We should be lower than everybody. You know,
- 18:10Speaker 2: Switzerland's like just about the lowest. If I charge them tariffs,
- 18:16Speaker 2: they would not be doing very well.
- 18:18Speaker 3: They would not be doing very well.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I treated them very nicely, actually, but they would be
- 18:23Speaker 2: and many other countries would not be doing very well.
- 18:26Speaker 2: So I'm being very judicious, to put it mildly, but
- 18:30Speaker 2: this country should have the lowest interest rates in the world.
- 18:33Speaker 3: We keep the world going.
- 18:35Speaker 2: We allowed you know how many definit when I got here,
- 18:37Speaker 2: Almost every single country in the world that we did
- 18:40Speaker 2: business with made money off of us. We didn't make money.
- 18:44Speaker 2: We had deficits with everybody. And I call that a loss.
- 18:47Speaker 2: You know, a lot of people say, oh, it doesn't matter,
- 18:48Speaker 2: it doesn't matter.
- 18:49Speaker 3: A lot to me. I call it a loss.
- 18:51Speaker 2: So we are losing money with every single country in
- 18:54Speaker 2: the world, just about there are a couple.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I don't know what happened. Maybe we got lucky.
- 19:00Speaker 2: We had the worst negotiators, and we had presidents that
- 19:03Speaker 2: were allows e business people. And you know, I liked
- 19:06Speaker 2: Ronald Reagan. But Ronald Reagan was bad on trade. Everybody
- 19:09Speaker 2: has problems. He was not good on trade. He allowed
- 19:12Speaker 2: Japan to come in and Germany to come in. But
- 19:14Speaker 2: we both like him and he was a good president,
- 19:17Speaker 2: but he wasn't.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Good on trade.
- 19:18Speaker 7: To cut my teeth with him, but Bob Leithheiser would
- 19:21Speaker 7: disagree with you. I don't want to spend too much time.
- 19:24Speaker 7: Reagan was tougher than you think on him.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Only on trade.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I think, well, he had the big, big shootout with
- 19:31Speaker 2: Japan and he folded. He wasn't and they came in
- 19:35Speaker 2: and took our car market.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Can I go back.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I'm a fan of his and I thought he was,
- 19:39Speaker 2: you know, just sort of had a great presence. But
- 19:43Speaker 2: on trade, if you look at every president we have
- 19:46Speaker 2: over the last fifty years, was bad on trade.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Every single one.
- 19:52Speaker 7: Well they didn't understand.
- 19:53Speaker 3: But I'm not bad on trade. I'm real good on trade.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You're arguing the President talking there not only about trade,
- 19:59Speaker 1: but also saying that you US should have the lowest
- 20:01Speaker 1: interest rates in the world. Interest rates should be lower,
- 20:05Speaker 1: and that means more Americans can afford to buy homes
- 20:08Speaker 1: and other things. This is the Trump doctrine on full display.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And he's also doing interviews with whoever wants to talk
- 20:16Speaker 1: to him, another example of the present being so open
- 20:20Speaker 1: about what he wants for this country. I want you
- 20:25Speaker 1: to listen to what came out from the United States
- 20:28Speaker 1: Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessen. He had a message to
- 20:31Speaker 1: the Iranian leadership. It was an official video put out
- 20:36Speaker 1: by the Department of the Treasury, and I want you
- 20:38Speaker 1: to hear his warning and what he had to say
- 20:41Speaker 1: about these sanctions and what America is doing.
- 20:44Speaker 8: The Iranian leadership on behalf of the people of Iran
- 20:47Speaker 8: who cannot speak for themselves. Last March, we predicted the
- 20:52Speaker 8: President Trump's maximum pressure campaign against the Iranian regime would
- 20:57Speaker 8: accelerate and economic collapse. Since then, our sanctions efforts have
- 21:02Speaker 8: been effective in slashing oil exports and cutting revenue. The
- 21:06Speaker 8: currency and living conditions are in free fall. The early
- 21:11Speaker 8: warning signs are already flashing in the Iranian economy. The
- 21:15Speaker 8: regime continues to egregiously mismanage its economic resources with additional
- 21:21Speaker 8: subsidies and price controls. The central bank is broke and
- 21:25Speaker 8: printing money. Hyperinflation is next. Rather than building a prosperous Iran,
- 21:32Speaker 8: the regime has chosen to squander what remains of the
- 21:36Speaker 8: nation's oil revenues on nuclear weapons development, missiles, and terrorist
- 21:41Speaker 8: proxies around the world. Civilians are rightly protesting mismanagement and
- 21:47Speaker 8: economic collapse. President Trump stands with the people of Iran
- 21:52Speaker 8: and has ordered Treasury to sanction members of the regime.
- 21:56Speaker 8: Around's leaders have brutally responded to peaceful demonstrations with violence,
- 22:01Speaker 8: from mass shootings in the street to attacks on wounded
- 22:04Speaker 8: victims and hospitals. Today's sanctions target eighteen individuals and entities
- 22:10Speaker 8: that the regime uses to evade sanctions on Iranian oil
- 22:14Speaker 8: and divert proceeds from its energy sales away from the
- 22:18Speaker 8: rightful owners, the Iranian people. Tehran's natural resources belong to
- 22:23Speaker 8: its people and not its brutal dictators. Treasury will continue
- 22:28Speaker 8: to target Iranian networks and corrupt elites that enrich themselves
- 22:33Speaker 8: at the expense of average Iranian This includes the regime's
- 22:38Speaker 8: attempts to exploit digital assets to evade sanctions and finance
- 22:43Speaker 8: cyber criminal operations. Additionally, President Trump has announced a twenty
- 22:48Speaker 8: five percent tariff on countries to continue to do business
- 22:52Speaker 8: with Iran. Our message to the Iranian people is clear,
- 22:57Speaker 8: your demands are legitimate, You are protesting for a noble cause,
- 23:01Speaker 8: and the United States support you and your efforts to
- 23:05Speaker 8: peacefully oppose the regimes mismanagement and brutality. Our message to
- 23:10Speaker 8: the Iranian leaders is also clear. US Treasury knows that,
- 23:16Speaker 8: like rats on a sinking ship, your frantically wiring funds
- 23:19Speaker 8: stolen from Iranian families to banks and financial institutions around
- 23:24Speaker 8: the world. Rest assured we will track them and you.
- 23:29Speaker 8: But there's still time if you choose to join us.
- 23:32Speaker 8: As President Trump has said, stop the violence and stand
- 23:36Speaker 8: with the people of Iran.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Now, what's interesting about that message that you just heard.
- 23:42Speaker 1: There is something I think it's really important. It's we
- 23:47Speaker 1: know exactly what's happening on the ground, but we also
- 23:50Speaker 1: know what's happening at the banks. We know what's happening
- 23:53Speaker 1: with the wires and the money transfers, and this administration
- 23:56Speaker 1: I think is spot on We see the rats as
- 23:59Speaker 1: they just and the Rats and Iran see that this
- 24:02Speaker 1: is a sinking ship and they're shipping their money out
- 24:06Speaker 1: as fast as they can, wiring it out because they're
- 24:09Speaker 1: looking for their exit strategy. That tells you a lot
- 24:14Speaker 1: about where we are right now. Now. That's An also
- 24:18Speaker 1: went on Newsmax and had this to say on Rob
- 24:21Speaker 1: Schmid's show, Listen carefully the words you use about the
- 24:24Speaker 1: US pressure on Iran's economy.
- 24:26Speaker 8: I see to that, and Rob. The other thing, as Treasury,
- 24:30Speaker 8: who carries out the sanctions, we can see is we
- 24:33Speaker 8: are now seeing the rats fleeing the ship because we
- 24:36Speaker 8: can see millions, tens of millions of dollars being wired
- 24:40Speaker 8: out of the country, snuck out of the country by
- 24:42Speaker 8: the Iranian leadership. So they are abandoning ship and we
- 24:46Speaker 8: are seeing it come into banks and financial institutions all
- 24:52Speaker 8: over the world. And what we do with Treasury is
- 24:54Speaker 8: we follow the money, whether it is through the typical
- 24:58Speaker 8: banking system or through digital assets. We are going to
- 25:02Speaker 8: trace these assets and they will not be able to keep.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You go back to the core here. He revealed that
- 25:07Speaker 1: the Iranian leadership is moving their money out of Iran
- 25:10Speaker 1: their abandoning ship, he said. Treasury, which carries out the sanctions,
- 25:14Speaker 1: can see it, and we are now seeing the rats
- 25:16Speaker 1: fleeing this ship. We can see millions, tens of millions
- 25:20Speaker 1: of dollars being wired out of the country, snuck out
- 25:24Speaker 1: of the country by the Iranian leadership. So the Iranian leadership,
- 25:28Speaker 1: he's saying, at this hour our abandoning ship. We're seeing
- 25:32Speaker 1: it coming to banks and financial institutions all over the world.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And what we do with Treasury said, we follow the money.
- 25:39Speaker 1: The Iranian regime in real time is falling, and Scott
- 25:46Speaker 1: is getting this out for a reason. One main reason,
- 25:50Speaker 1: it's so that the people in Iran understand what's happening.
- 25:54Speaker 1: We're also saying that there are trucks that look like
- 25:58Speaker 1: they could hold chemical and buy logical radioactive weapons units
- 26:02Speaker 1: that have been seen on the streets were being told
- 26:05Speaker 1: in Iran. There's been more reports of chemical gas used
- 26:08Speaker 1: against anti regime protesters during the last two weeks, and
- 26:12Speaker 1: we keep seeing some of this come out in that
- 26:15Speaker 1: part of the world. Now it's hard to verify because
- 26:17Speaker 1: the internet's been shut down, and not only is the
- 26:20Speaker 1: Internet been shut down, but so the phones but Iran's
- 26:25Speaker 1: oil revenue stream and is really getting knocked down. And
- 26:31Speaker 1: then you have the Treasury that's further trying to degrade
- 26:35Speaker 1: the regime's ability to carry out attacks against the US
- 26:37Speaker 1: it's allies, and they say, not only that, but we're
- 26:40Speaker 1: remaining committed to ol supply, to an oil supply that
- 26:44Speaker 1: is free from Iran, and they said it will continue
- 26:48Speaker 1: the efforts to disrupt the ongoing issues in Tehran. Again,
- 26:52Speaker 1: this is all about the oil. You take away the oil,
- 26:55Speaker 1: you take away the money, and what happens. It collapses quickly.
- 26:59Speaker 8: In President Trump has been clear Iran must stop sponsoring terror,
- 27:06Speaker 8: halts its bloody proxy wars, and cease its pursuit of
- 27:10Speaker 8: nuclear weapons. That is why Treasury is taking further action
- 27:14Speaker 8: to degrade the Ayatola and his regime's ability to finance
- 27:19Speaker 8: terrorism around the world, including its growing influence in Iraq.
- 27:24Speaker 8: Treasury is sanctioning a rogue businessman and his network of
- 27:29Speaker 8: companies and vessels that smuggle Iranian oil disguised as Iraqi
- 27:34Speaker 8: oil to avoid US sanctions. This network generates over three
- 27:39Speaker 8: hundred million annually for Tehran. Smuggling of this nature allows
- 27:44Speaker 8: Iranian oil to be sold to US allies and possibly
- 27:48Speaker 8: to the United States itself in violation of US sanctions.
- 27:52Speaker 8: The United States will apply economic pressure to the maximum
- 27:56Speaker 8: extent possible to disrupt Iran's access to the finance natural
- 28:00Speaker 8: resources that fuel its destabilizing activities.
- 28:04Speaker 1: There it is, you notice what Donald Trump's doing here,
- 28:09Speaker 1: Maximum pressure on Iran, maximum pressure using every tool in
- 28:17Speaker 1: his tool belt. Listen to the last thing Besson says here.
- 28:21Speaker 8: Since President Trump retook office, we have implemented a maximum
- 28:25Speaker 8: pressure campaign. In just seven months, we have seen a
- 28:29Speaker 8: significant decline in oil carried by the Shadow Fleet vessels.
- 28:34Speaker 8: We have sanctioned, reduced Tehran's profit margin and made it
- 28:38Speaker 8: increasingly difficult for the regime to export oil. The United
- 28:43Speaker 8: States remains committed to an oil supply free from Iran's
- 28:48Speaker 8: destabilizing influence. We will continue to take action against those
- 28:53Speaker 8: who help fund its global campaign of terror.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I go back to this is exactly one I voted
- 29:01Speaker 1: for President Trump because he's the only one that was
- 29:06Speaker 1: willing to make these decisions, the only one that was
- 29:12Speaker 1: willing to do this.
- 29:14Speaker 3: That's it.
