- 1:43Speaker 4: I probably got to turn mouth turn.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The water of the mony up looking, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that a huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, dig
- 2:08Speaker 7: me one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 7: What God doing, y'all?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Huh?
- 2:15Speaker 7: What he doing? What he doing in your life? He
- 2:17Speaker 7: doing something? He moving, he working. Don't lose your patience though,
- 2:22Speaker 7: see I did that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't
- 2:27Speaker 7: get so sick of waiting that you take matters into
- 2:30Speaker 7: your own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Listen to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it
- 2:38Speaker 7: that way. I had a dream, I had a vision.
- 2:41Speaker 7: I had some hope, I have some faith, I have
- 2:44Speaker 7: some aspirations. But I got a little impatient waiting on it.
- 2:48Speaker 7: So I tried a couple other things.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Move it along. Boy. I can't tell you how I
- 2:53Speaker 2: messed it up.
- 2:54Speaker 7: Then I messed it up then, because God gave me
- 2:56Speaker 7: the power of decision. What I had to do was
- 2:58Speaker 7: then after I took matters into my own hand, messed
- 3:02Speaker 7: it up.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Now, I guess what. He still got something fummy.
- 3:06Speaker 7: But nah, I gotta fix all the mistakes now, I
- 3:08Speaker 7: gotta straighten them out. I gotta I gotta suffer some consequences.
- 3:12Speaker 7: I gotta pay for my transgressions. All of that, All
- 3:15Speaker 7: of that, it's gotta go down. You can't do something
- 3:19Speaker 7: wrong and not pay for it. It's just you call it, calma,
- 3:23Speaker 7: call it whatever you want to call it. Every action
- 3:27Speaker 7: has an equal and opposite reaction every action.
- 3:31Speaker 2: If it just.
- 3:32Speaker 7: Stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:35Speaker 7: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 7: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 7: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 7: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 7: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 7: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:54Speaker 7: so that sun can it can soak up the sun
- 3:58Speaker 7: and get the benefit of the sun. If you don't
- 4:00Speaker 7: get the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it
- 4:03Speaker 7: happens throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think
- 4:07Speaker 7: that you can do wrong and not have to pay
- 4:10Speaker 7: for that. You think this is man. We think man,
- 4:15Speaker 7: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:17Speaker 7: best for us, and no matter how to affect nobody else,
- 4:20Speaker 7: we got the right to make that call.
- 4:22Speaker 2: No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 7: gang life, telling you.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah, man, you need to be this way to be
- 4:29Speaker 2: down with us. I'll tell you what.
- 4:31Speaker 7: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 4:33Speaker 7: many them be there for you. Oh they'll go around
- 4:36Speaker 7: the corner with you and start shooting. But look, okay,
- 4:39Speaker 7: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 4:41Speaker 7: lessen they sentence, you gonna get that time.
- 4:44Speaker 2: They gonna point their finger dead at you.
- 4:46Speaker 7: I watched for eight hours all the time, man, I
- 4:48Speaker 7: watch Lock Up Raw all the time, all the time, man,
- 4:51Speaker 7: all the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there,
- 4:54Speaker 7: just holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even
- 4:58Speaker 7: the mob turns stateside of it, then go fed all that.
- 5:02Speaker 7: Now we are now the hood. We didne created this
- 5:04Speaker 7: ignorant mess called no snitching. With that ignorant mess, you
- 5:07Speaker 7: don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals as
- 5:10Speaker 7: a cold of honor. If you do dirt and you
- 5:13Speaker 7: get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name up
- 5:16Speaker 7: if I was with you. That's a cold of honor
- 5:18Speaker 7: amongst the thieves. Now, so many code of honor thieves
- 5:21Speaker 7: that then came out of prison. They ain't gotten honor.
- 5:23Speaker 7: They done brought that stuff back to the street. Now
- 5:25Speaker 7: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching, No snitching, You
- 5:28Speaker 7: got to be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:32Speaker 7: That's who people have made a cold of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 7: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:37Speaker 7: drag me down. What you just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 7: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 7: a law biding citizen.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Dog.
- 5:45Speaker 7: I'm trying to live right over here, man. I don't
- 5:47Speaker 7: want no crack house up street from my mama's house.
- 5:50Speaker 7: I'm trying to do right out here. Man, you can't
- 5:52Speaker 7: do wrong and expect wrong not to come to you.
- 5:55Speaker 7: You got to make a decision every day to do right.
- 5:58Speaker 7: God ain't got no protection you on dirt. You got
- 6:00Speaker 7: what you got coming. You made a decision. You go
- 6:05Speaker 7: down there to get some you might get got See,
- 6:09Speaker 7: we got to come on. I'm talking to so many
- 6:12Speaker 7: men out here right now. I should have said that
- 6:14Speaker 7: in beginning, but a conversation kind of got away from me.
- 6:17Speaker 7: I was gonna talk to you about something else this morning.
- 6:19Speaker 7: But they're just only man. Because our communities. Man, it's
- 6:22Speaker 7: just going to the pot man because it ain't nobody
- 6:25Speaker 7: can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they see
- 6:29Speaker 7: the young dude over there doing wrong. Look at them,
- 6:31Speaker 7: foods over the man. Go over there and talk to
- 6:33Speaker 7: one of them. Pull them to the side.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:36Speaker 7: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 7: you can approach an individual.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Come in, young man. Let me talk to you. I
- 6:42Speaker 2: saw you the other day.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:42Speaker 7: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:44Speaker 7: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 7: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 7: you was doing.
- 6:51Speaker 5: You know.
- 6:51Speaker 7: It's like Tommy did a prank phone call one time
- 6:53Speaker 7: as a limo driver, and the dude the prank was
- 6:57Speaker 7: he called this limo company to ask it's this limo
- 7:00Speaker 7: driver to take him to this location late at night,
- 7:05Speaker 7: and the limo driver got a young business he going, yeah, okay,
- 7:08Speaker 7: I got you. I don't normally work like that. But
- 7:10Speaker 7: how long you need it?
- 7:11Speaker 2: He say? For just about an hour?
- 7:12Speaker 7: He said, well, I'm gonna have to charge you for
- 7:14Speaker 7: the full three though, because a three hour minimum. Tommy
- 7:17Speaker 7: told him, now, I just need it for one hours.
- 7:19Speaker 7: He said, okay, I'll give you a break, young man.
- 7:21Speaker 7: You're trying to do something. Where you want to go?
- 7:23Speaker 7: He gave an address. The man stopped writing. He said,
- 7:26Speaker 7: that's a bank. He said, yeah. He said, you want
- 7:30Speaker 7: to go to the bank at twelve thirty at night.
- 7:33Speaker 7: He said yeah, and I'm gonna be in for a
- 7:35Speaker 7: few minutes. And when I come out that bank, I
- 7:38Speaker 7: need for you to flow it that to do with
- 7:41Speaker 7: the limo. He stopped writing. He said, hold on, hold on, man,
- 7:46Speaker 7: you want me to take you to a bank twelve
- 7:48Speaker 7: thirty at night. You gonna be in there for a
- 7:50Speaker 7: few minutes and you gonna come out, and you want
- 7:53Speaker 7: me to flow it. He said, sir, I don't do
- 7:56Speaker 7: stuff like that. He said, you got the wrong company.
- 7:58Speaker 7: He said, what made you call here? He said, hey, man,
- 8:00Speaker 7: don't worry about that. You a limo come to you.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Just drive.
- 8:03Speaker 7: He stopped and took the time out. He said, young man,
- 8:06Speaker 7: let me tell you something. He said, I've been down before,
- 8:10Speaker 7: I've been locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said,
- 8:13Speaker 7: that's what's wrong with you young people today. Instead of
- 8:16Speaker 7: going to get a job, trying to work your way,
- 8:17Speaker 7: you're always looking for some fast money.
- 8:19Speaker 2: He said, I'm gonna tell you what I already know.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Don't go down there messing with them people's money like
- 8:23Speaker 7: that because they love that money way more than they
- 8:26Speaker 7: love you, and they gonna do something to you down there.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 7: And I'm not caring you know where, but I'm gonna
- 8:32Speaker 7: take a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:35Speaker 7: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 8:38Speaker 7: because it ain't gonna go good. They gonna take care
- 8:40Speaker 7: of their business when they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:42Speaker 7: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 7: the limo. It was a plank phone call, but The
- 8:47Speaker 7: point I'm making is the man took our time. He
- 8:49Speaker 7: could have just hung the phone up. But you know
- 8:51Speaker 7: what he said. He said, hold up, young man, let me.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 8:56Speaker 2: up before.
- 8:57Speaker 7: He said, no, no, no, See I've done that when I
- 8:59Speaker 7: was young, now almost and I'm gonna take some moment
- 9:01Speaker 7: out to tell you I'm up here, working man trying
- 9:03Speaker 7: to earn an honest living. I ain't going back down
- 9:05Speaker 7: there because I don't. They make you eat what they
- 9:08Speaker 7: want you to eat. You don't want the food. You
- 9:10Speaker 7: got to get up when they say get up. You
- 9:11Speaker 7: gotta stay where they say stay, live with who they
- 9:13Speaker 7: say live. He said, man, you don't want that, and
- 9:16Speaker 7: he just tried to talk the young man out of me.
- 9:18Speaker 7: You can change a young man's mind with a conversation.
- 9:22Speaker 7: A conversation can change a young man's mind. Most of
- 9:25Speaker 7: these young men that are misguided ain't having conversations with
- 9:28Speaker 7: real men. They just not having them. And it's up
- 9:32Speaker 7: to us who know what manhood is. It's to start
- 9:34Speaker 7: delivering the message. The problem that we have in our
- 9:37Speaker 7: communities we can solve ourselves. It's to escalate it to
- 9:40Speaker 7: a point because we who are men, won't stop on
- 9:43Speaker 7: our corporate climb and our day to day making money
- 9:47Speaker 7: and trying to ball out. We won't stop and grab
- 9:49Speaker 7: some of these young soldiers and tell them the truth
- 9:51Speaker 7: about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay, sah, I went there.
- 9:55Speaker 7: I don't know where they came from.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Your listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning, shall.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have your
- 10:03Speaker 7: divided attention. This is my very wide opening for the morning.
- 10:07Speaker 7: Want you to have a great time. Come on to
- 10:09Speaker 7: join in with us. Put your hand on somebody's back
- 10:14Speaker 7: and say hey, I love you, and allow them to
- 10:16Speaker 7: say I love you, and together we can have love
- 10:20Speaker 7: in this world, and this world will have more love. Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 7: but that ain't working right now, so welcome to the steat.
- 10:29Speaker 2: See where you get that from. I don't know.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Just came to me, thought i'd do it. Ain't no
- 10:34Speaker 7: need of doing the same thing. It's a new day,
- 10:36Speaker 7: new chance, new opportunity. Man, Let's make the best of it.
- 10:40Speaker 2: God is good. Yeah, years, man.
- 10:42Speaker 7: Gratitude affects your altitude all the time, but it's brought
- 10:46Speaker 7: on by your attitude.
- 10:47Speaker 2: You got to get it together.
- 10:48Speaker 7: Baby, that's the world we live in today, Shearlon Strawberry
- 10:51Speaker 7: calling for real my out of the South junior boy
- 10:54Speaker 7: and my man myself.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, happened to me.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I like that. See like you know what I mean.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Sometimes they because they ain't got no.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Cheerleader chick for yourself. Yeah, clap it up for you.
- 11:09Speaker 7: So sometimes you gotta clap it up for yourself.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Like Snoop Dogg said, I want to thank you. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: want to thank me last, but not least.
- 11:18Speaker 8: I want to think me. Believe in yourself, love yourself.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah. So Ju, what's on your mind today?
- 11:27Speaker 1: I just said, are you feeling pretty good today?
- 11:29Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I am.
- 11:31Speaker 1: You sound good?
- 11:33Speaker 2: I feel good? You know, whatever it is, whatever it is.
- 11:37Speaker 7: You know, some days have some few more challenges in
- 11:40Speaker 7: it than others, and.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But I survived all of them so far.
- 11:45Speaker 7: This too shall pass, that's for sure, and I'm expecting
- 11:49Speaker 7: great things to happen in my life. Man, gratitude check yesterday,
- 11:54Speaker 7: I really did have to do a gratitude check because
- 11:57Speaker 7: what I found out was as humans and I myself
- 12:00Speaker 7: guilty of this often in my quest to do better
- 12:04Speaker 7: and be better, in my quest to accomplish the next
- 12:09Speaker 7: level and reach for more goals and get higher and higher.
- 12:13Speaker 7: I sometimes forget to have the right level of gratitude
- 12:18Speaker 7: for where I am. And if you pursue the quest
- 12:23Speaker 7: wholeheartedly with everything that's in you, and it's constantly grind, grind, go, go, go,
- 12:28Speaker 7: go go, you will humanly forget to say thank you
- 12:34Speaker 7: and be grateful for where you are.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And now you've negated your.
- 12:38Speaker 7: Opportunity, Steve Harvey for further advancement, because God, in his
- 12:43Speaker 7: infinite wisdom and supreme judgment, he's thinking, well, if he
- 12:49Speaker 7: ain't grateful for this, ain't no need of me over
- 12:51Speaker 7: burdening him with more. Or if you're complaining about your
- 12:57Speaker 7: present condition, be also saying maybe I don't need to
- 13:03Speaker 7: put no more on them because this is causing so
- 13:06Speaker 7: much stress and problems. You know, Biggie said, more money,
- 13:09Speaker 7: more problems. But if you focus so much on the problems,
- 13:12Speaker 7: then maybe God won't give you mold because.
- 13:15Speaker 2: He already know you already complaining about this?
- 13:19Speaker 9: Right, all right, something to ask you?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Look at God, I'll do all right.
- 13:38Speaker 8: Church complaints coming up at thirty two minutes after the

- 14:24Speaker 8: Motown and Deacon death Jam.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Here we go, we gavel on this path Kituus day
- 14:36Speaker 7: as we memorialize the reconciliation of the fact that church
- 14:46Speaker 7: complaints is done.
- 14:51Speaker 2: On a Monday.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, we.
- 14:57Speaker 7: Dobiesly we were do be I a sleep recognized. This
- 15:04Speaker 7: is the bitter faction. Oh, stop recollection and dubiasification. Do
- 15:15Speaker 7: the complained Lord. Sorry, alright, it's all right. Let us
- 15:23Speaker 7: begin with uh church complaints all on Monday.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Yes, sir, all right, pastor, we got a problem. Brother
- 15:35Speaker 10: chamber is having a problem. Every time he is liquid
- 15:38Speaker 10: pouring or running, he starts to pee on himself. If
- 15:42Speaker 10: he's pumping gas, he start paying. If he turned on
- 15:45Speaker 10: the water on the sink, he starts paying. Now what
- 15:47Speaker 10: else happened is you poured a glass of water during
- 15:50Speaker 10: the sermon eye yesterday and of course he started pa
- 15:55Speaker 10: So everybody on the pill got well. You know, so
- 15:59Speaker 10: they they want you to put by the Chambers out
- 16:01Speaker 10: the church.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's up to year out.
- 16:03Speaker 7: I'm not going to do that because, unbeknownst to many,
- 16:08Speaker 7: I have the same problem.
- 16:10Speaker 1: As Brother Chambers.
- 16:14Speaker 7: When I play golf and it's a waterfall, I have
- 16:19Speaker 7: to go pick. When I play golf, if I hit
- 16:23Speaker 7: the ball in the water, the splash sound causes me
- 16:27Speaker 7: to year in me. If I pass by the beverage
- 16:31Speaker 7: cart and the little white girl is pouring a drink.
- 16:34Speaker 2: For somebody, I have to go peet.
- 16:37Speaker 7: That is why I wear the same long dark robe
- 16:42Speaker 7: every Sunday.
- 16:45Speaker 2: He you may have, I an't leave here. I so
- 16:51Speaker 2: leave Brother Chambers alone.
- 16:52Speaker 7: And when Brother Chambers figure out how to stop it,
- 16:55Speaker 7: somebody let me know I can stop too, and refuse
- 17:03Speaker 7: to wear a dependent refuse. That's a lot of back
- 17:10Speaker 7: you out even now, let's have a McDonald's cook take
- 17:15Speaker 7: to my thigh.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Ma'am, the big gulp or whatever.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Supicide, supicide, all.
- 17:27Speaker 10: Right, pastor our here's another situation. Our scooter members, I
- 17:32Speaker 10: ask him for a charging section. They've been running out
- 17:37Speaker 10: of power. Now we didn't know it, but Sister George
- 17:39Speaker 10: Guildry was stuck on the side of the church and
- 17:41Speaker 10: didn't nobody know it till Sunday night. So they ask
- 17:44Speaker 10: him for a charging section for the scooters or we're
- 17:48Speaker 10: not gonna be able to invest in that.
- 17:51Speaker 7: I've told the people. Most of them come here and
- 17:53Speaker 7: run their battery down. Shouting. You're riding around in the
- 17:58Speaker 7: circle at the church is not praizy. Going fast and
- 18:03Speaker 7: backing up is not praise dancing. Now you up in
- 18:07Speaker 7: the front, just back and forth, back and forth, back
- 18:09Speaker 7: and forth. You're running your battery down in the hobble
- 18:12Speaker 7: round and we're not gonna have a charging station for it.
- 18:15Speaker 2: That is not praise dancing.
- 18:17Speaker 7: I told y'all to take all the ones in hove
- 18:20Speaker 7: around off the dance praise dance team, spinning in a circle,
- 18:24Speaker 7: going forward, being back and up, come halfway down the high.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Then you holler.
- 18:29Speaker 7: Then drive all the way around two lefts and holler
- 18:32Speaker 7: that ain't that ain't what that is?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Praise on your feet.
- 18:40Speaker 7: All right, throwing them hubble rounds and reverse all faster
- 18:43Speaker 7: and stuff. All these gears. You hear them gears changing,

- 20:02Speaker 10: Jazzmine ribbed a bank butt naked and got away with
- 20:05Speaker 10: it because no one I saw her face. They were
- 20:08Speaker 10: all looking at well, you know, but two of our
- 20:11Speaker 10: members were in the bank when she robbed it, and

- 20:15Speaker 10: money back.
- 20:16Speaker 2: You say she was button nicked, Deacon, She was butt

- 20:37Speaker 7: haven't seen her face.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Glory glory.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I've never seen anybody put a whole new meaning
- 20:50Speaker 7: to the term little black dress. Lord her mercy, you know,
- 20:58Speaker 7: I've never I don't have much such of a criminal

- 22:11Speaker 2: We call him the Close.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Shateria in Memphis writes, I have been dating
- 22:16Speaker 8: a younger man for four months, and he's been using
- 22:19Speaker 8: my car to go to work because I've worked from home.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Now.
- 22:22Speaker 8: I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, so I told him
- 22:25Speaker 8: to call his mama for a ride. His mama called
- 22:28Speaker 8: me and said, I'm only four years younger than her,
- 22:31Speaker 8: So I'm his mama now and I need to take
- 22:33Speaker 8: care of his needs. Would I be out of blind
- 22:36Speaker 8: to curse her out?
- 22:37Speaker 11: What?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Well?
- 22:39Speaker 7: First of all, let's talk about a couple of things
- 22:41Speaker 7: that I noticed, Shateria, This man, you Dayton, got to
- 22:50Speaker 7: be young because your name is Shatiria, and I don't
- 22:54Speaker 7: know nobody named Shatria that was born in the seventies,
- 23:00Speaker 7: So I'm assuming that you are a young mother yourself.
- 23:05Speaker 7: Now you the one in here and rob this crackling.
- 23:07Speaker 7: You're dating this little damn baby that just now got
- 23:10Speaker 7: off his bicycle. So he ain't even got a car.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Now you letting him use your car. You told him
- 23:15Speaker 7: you got to go to the doctor because you got
- 23:17Speaker 7: some medical complications. He can't do that. And then you
- 23:21Speaker 7: told him using mama's car, his mama's car.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Would I be.
- 23:26Speaker 7: Wrong for cussing her out or kicking hotel? What are
- 23:30Speaker 7: you doing? This is your fault. The fact that his
- 23:36Speaker 7: mama can call you, The fact that you had him
- 23:39Speaker 7: call his mama says you're in the wrong relationship. Shitteria.
- 23:45Speaker 7: That rhymes with cafeteria. And that's where we have the
- 23:49Speaker 7: problem at right there. Your name, your age, and this
- 23:54Speaker 7: damn baby you done picked up and moved around in
- 23:57Speaker 7: here to your house that don't have a car. Bad
- 24:00Speaker 7: selection it ain't his mama it's the boy you selected
- 24:04Speaker 7: to be your man.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, there's your problem. Next question, all right.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Moving on to Tay in Ohio.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Tay says, I'm a twenty two year old student and
- 24:14Speaker 8: I'm dating a black guy that is giving me grief
- 24:16Speaker 8: because he's very friendly. He feels like he has to
- 24:19Speaker 8: show the black girls on campus a lot of attention
- 24:23Speaker 8: or they'll hate him for dating outside of his race.
- 24:25Speaker 8: One of the girls can't stand me, and she's always
- 24:28Speaker 8: talking slick to me. Should I pull her aside to
- 24:31Speaker 8: see what the problem is? Or do I keep ignoring her?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Like he said to well.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Let me let me give you, Let me let me
- 24:38Speaker 2: say something to you.
- 24:39Speaker 7: Now when you pull her to the side. I just
- 24:44Speaker 7: want you to understand that ain't the n delviy live culturally.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Once you pull them to the.
- 24:52Speaker 7: Side and start addressing it, you finna get way molding
- 24:59Speaker 7: you bought. Now the dude has told you to ignore it.
- 25:05Speaker 7: You could ignore it, but I understand the position he's in.
- 25:09Speaker 7: He gives them extra attention so they don't hate him.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Look, are you enjoying this relationship?
- 25:18Speaker 1: Sounds lady?
- 25:21Speaker 7: It don't sound like she is to me. It's pretty
- 25:25Speaker 7: much with this you don't like the pressure, you don't
- 25:28Speaker 7: like what come with it. And he's not coping with
- 25:31Speaker 7: it real good either because he feel in some kind
- 25:33Speaker 7: of way. But now, let me explain something to you.
- 25:38Speaker 7: Don't pull that black girl to the side.
- 25:41Speaker 2: That's your point.
- 25:43Speaker 7: Don't do that. Don't do that, sister, Heyby girl, listen
- 25:46Speaker 7: to me, Listen to Uncle Steve. Don't pull that black
- 25:49Speaker 7: girl to the side, because it ain't gonna go nothing
- 25:51Speaker 7: like you think. You're not gonna believe her damn reaction.
- 25:55Speaker 7: First of all, if you literally tap her on the
- 25:57Speaker 7: alboy and say come over here for a minue, let
- 25:59Speaker 7: me talk to you, not just don't do that.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Don't.
- 26:03Speaker 7: First, it's gonna be a pause and hesitation, the disbelief
- 26:07Speaker 7: that you were addressing her. But if all the black
- 26:11Speaker 7: women you don't point you're gonna picked out her is
- 26:14Speaker 7: the one you gonna check her. I can't even tell
- 26:17Speaker 7: you how that's fit to go now. I don't know
- 26:19Speaker 7: if you're a cheerleader. I don't know if he an athlete.
- 26:22Speaker 7: I don't know if you're on a debate team. I
- 26:25Speaker 7: don't know what you own. But do not grab Shiteria
- 26:30Speaker 7: Junior and pull her to the side.
- 26:37Speaker 1: This is not him.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, do not do that. It's not going to go.
- 26:44Speaker 8: Thank you, CeeLo Monique and Tyler town says. My husband
- 26:47Speaker 8: and I had a card party over the weekend and
- 26:49Speaker 8: his best buddy got drunk and slept on our floor
- 26:52Speaker 8: all night. He also urinated on himself and he had
- 26:55Speaker 8: on dark jeans. So my carpet is ruined in that spot.
- 26:59Speaker 8: My husband and didn't want to make a big deal
- 27:01Speaker 8: out of it and embarrass him. So we have to
- 27:04Speaker 8: pay to have our carpet replaced. Shouldn't he make his
- 27:07Speaker 8: buddy pay for this?
- 27:09Speaker 7: You just so drunk you then fell asleep on the
- 27:12Speaker 7: floor and peede on yourself. I mean he could go
- 27:18Speaker 7: to him and say, hey, man, look here's a problem,
- 27:20Speaker 7: and you was at the house.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You got drunk.
- 27:23Speaker 7: I know you couldn't help it, but you laid the
- 27:25Speaker 7: floor and you peed on yourself. Now my wife got
- 27:27Speaker 7: to replace the coppet. Man, can you give us a
- 27:30Speaker 7: little something on it?
- 27:31Speaker 1: You know you should offer at that point.
- 27:33Speaker 7: Well, he not because he gonna swear him down. He
- 27:36Speaker 7: gonna swear him down. He ain't peede on himself. Who
- 27:39Speaker 7: you know if in the volunteer that was that wasn't flow. No,
- 27:45Speaker 7: that was a bill. You think I peed on myself?
- 27:48Speaker 7: Now that's bier. I laid in the bill. I saw
- 27:51Speaker 7: the bill. I might knock the cup over. I give
- 27:54Speaker 7: you a couple of honey. You're not going into it here,
- 27:56Speaker 7: grown no, hell no, hell no, it ain't nowhere. And
- 28:01Speaker 7: he ain't laying that any You can't prove he pre
- 28:03Speaker 7: don no, no, no, no, no, hold up, hold on, bro,
- 28:07Speaker 7: So you're gonna.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Come to me with that? Yeah, we got pictures. Hold up, dog,
- 28:10Speaker 2: did you see me pee.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Ya on my phone?
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Now hold up on who phone? Hold up? So
- 28:23Speaker 2: your girl take a picture of me peeing? Get turned. Yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you gotta find somebody.
- 28:31Speaker 1: He wasn't at home.
- 28:32Speaker 7: I mean he could mention it to him, but it's
- 28:35Speaker 7: he the dude gonna deny it and stopping him. Card
- 28:38Speaker 7: party and stop letting people sleep on your floor overnight.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Stop doing that, all right? Send his ass home, pee
- 28:46Speaker 2: on his own floor.
- 28:49Speaker 1: The smell in that house, all right.
- 28:51Speaker 8: Moving on to Stephanie in La Stephanie says, I'm in
- 28:55Speaker 8: my mid forties and I can't function without having sex
- 28:57Speaker 8: at least four times a week. I work long days,
- 29:01Speaker 8: so it's hard for me to meet a good man,
- 29:03Speaker 8: to meet good men, and I end up tensed up
- 29:06Speaker 8: all night and can't fall asleep. My neighbor has always
- 29:10Speaker 8: been an option, but I don't want to be intimate
- 29:12Speaker 8: with someone in my building. What's the worst that could happen?
- 29:15Speaker 8: Should I go ahead and invite him over?
- 29:19Speaker 2: I don't feel I don't.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Care what you do. I really don't. This ain't a
- 29:25Speaker 7: love question, just a lost question. He's thirsty. You in
- 29:29Speaker 7: your forties. You gotta have sex full times a week. Yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 7: you know what gots to you and your forties and
- 29:36Speaker 7: you have to have sex full times a week.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Okay, we'll go ahead and have it.
- 29:40Speaker 7: No, no, if you have to go ahead, what you
- 29:42Speaker 7: want me to tell you?
- 29:43Speaker 5: Now?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Your neighbor.
- 29:44Speaker 7: You don't want to sleep with him because he's your
- 29:46Speaker 7: neighbor who's been.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Doing the four times a week for you up to now?
- 29:50Speaker 6: Wow?
- 29:51Speaker 7: That far.
- 29:52Speaker 2: See.
- 29:53Speaker 7: What I think is, you gots to have sex four
- 29:56Speaker 7: times a week. Your problem is you can't find nobody
- 29:59Speaker 7: want to have.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Sex you full times a week. That's your real problem.
- 30:04Speaker 1: That's what she said.

- 30:37Speaker 13: an inspiration and I want to say thank you.
- 30:40Speaker 14: I leaped off that cliff, I took the late of faith.
- 30:44Speaker 5: I went out there.
- 30:45Speaker 14: I had a job that I was going to be
- 30:47Speaker 14: making one hundred and fifty thousand a year. I quit
- 30:50Speaker 14: that job to go out there to be an entrepreneur.
- 30:54Speaker 14: In two thousand and nine, my dad passed away on
- 30:57Speaker 14: January thirty first, two weeks later. I heard your voice
- 31:00Speaker 14: for the first time on the Morning Inspiration and you
- 31:03Speaker 14: have inspired me since then, and I just want to
- 31:06Speaker 14: say thank you.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I heard you, big bro.
- 31:08Speaker 14: I heard you a million times a million. You said,
- 31:12Speaker 14: think bigger than what anything, that only God can be
- 31:16Speaker 14: able to give you the answer to it a million
- 31:19Speaker 14: times a million. I would love to share that with
- 31:22Speaker 14: you one day, and it's.
- 31:24Speaker 5: All in the house.
- 31:26Speaker 14: Thank you, man.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 31:28Speaker 13: People hear you. They love you theay out here, they listening.
- 31:32Speaker 13: It's a lot of us.
- 31:33Speaker 14: Who've taken that leap of faith and we on that
- 31:36Speaker 14: path because once you got a million entrepreneurs where it's
- 31:39Speaker 14: a million dollars each, that's the trillion dollars and.
- 31:43Speaker 2: We can do it. Love you, big bro.
- 31:45Speaker 14: Thank you again, mister Steve Harvey.
- 31:48Speaker 2: You are the.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Man if you reach people. There.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Yeah, that was that was that was powerful. I appreciate
- 32:02Speaker 7: that man from the bottom of my heart. That's that.
- 32:05Speaker 7: But you know what that's that. That's God's grace man.
- 32:09Speaker 7: I mean you, you can't cut a deal for it.
- 32:12Speaker 7: God just gives it to you. And he Didne gave
- 32:15Speaker 7: me the desires of my heart so many times and
- 32:18Speaker 7: and upped it. He'd have took the desires of my
- 32:20Speaker 7: heart and put some grace on it to got me.
- 32:23Speaker 7: Well I ain't. I ain't even asked for that. And
- 32:25Speaker 7: look up and got that too. Yeah, got another one, Charlie.
- 32:29Speaker 1: All right, more voicemail, Steve.
- 32:31Speaker 8: This is Remember you do the closing remarks about haters.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Drop the mic. Let's go, Steve.
- 32:37Speaker 15: I listened to you just Saturday. Your closing remarks the
- 32:41Speaker 15: most beautiful words I have heard in a long time.
- 32:44Speaker 15: You may say dropped the mic. You should have dropped
- 32:47Speaker 15: the mic that time, because you really let your haters
- 32:52Speaker 15: know that it's all about them, because God used them
- 32:56Speaker 15: to put you where you are, to show you where
- 32:59Speaker 15: you had to go. Because I believe it. It had
- 33:02Speaker 15: not been to them hating on you. It might not
- 33:05Speaker 15: have cled his heart, but you did. You got it,
- 33:07Speaker 15: and you're moving on and you got You're awesome. I
- 33:11Speaker 15: love you mine.
- 33:17Speaker 7: And you know what, man, I was just about to say,
- 33:21Speaker 7: I want to change the hater closing remarks. I want
- 33:24Speaker 7: I want to redo it because I wanted to add
- 33:27Speaker 7: some more to it because I've been thinking about it,
- 33:29Speaker 7: because it's really one of my favorite closing remarks.
- 33:32Speaker 2: It was very because.
- 33:33Speaker 7: I just because it really opened up my heart man,
- 33:38Speaker 7: because I was I was handling these haters wrong. And
- 33:41Speaker 7: then God just started exposing to me. No, listen to me, man,
- 33:47Speaker 7: you need them. Let me show you what I did.
- 33:51Speaker 7: And he just revealed it to me one morning I
- 33:53Speaker 7: was meditating. He said, every time they did this to you,
- 33:58Speaker 7: it calls this. I want to just show you something,
- 34:02Speaker 7: and I really started looking at it. Man, and like
- 34:04Speaker 7: the lady said, they didn't know, man, But they made
- 34:08Speaker 7: me work harder, they made me focused, they made me dry.
- 34:11Speaker 7: But the biggest gift haters gave me they pushed me
- 34:17Speaker 7: up under the wings of my heavenly father, Amen, and
- 34:21Speaker 7: tucked me under that. A man like I was thinking, Man,
- 34:25Speaker 7: you know what I actually thought. For the people who
- 34:27Speaker 7: actually kicked me and thought they was kicking me off
- 34:30Speaker 7: to the cliff, kicking me off the cliff, they actually
- 34:33Speaker 7: were just kicking me into my Lord and save his arms.
- 34:37Speaker 7: That's all they did, man, When they laughed about me
- 34:39Speaker 7: behind my back, they just made me strong.
- 34:42Speaker 5: You know.
- 34:42Speaker 7: The one thing, man, that kind of the only thing
- 34:45Speaker 7: that really bothered me about haters was dudes in the barbershop.
- 34:50Speaker 7: That's the one that bothers me the most because I've
- 34:53Speaker 7: always prided myself on being a man's man, and I
- 34:56Speaker 7: know I am because there's not a man living who
- 34:59Speaker 7: knows who don't know that about me. I mean, if
- 35:03Speaker 7: you know me, you know that about me, then I'm
- 35:05Speaker 7: a man's man. I made lie of mistakes with females
- 35:08Speaker 7: who ain't, but when it comes to brotherhood, manhood or
- 35:11Speaker 7: I was locked in on that thing right there, and
- 35:14Speaker 7: I'm really really good at that.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I'm an expert at it.
- 35:16Speaker 7: So when brothers in the barbershop be talking about me
- 35:19Speaker 7: because they ain't got all the facts or they'd have
- 35:21Speaker 7: jumped off the bandwagon, you know, man, that really kind
- 35:24Speaker 7: of bothered me because I go, damn dog, y'all too,
- 35:27Speaker 7: because I'm a man's man. If you meet me as
- 35:30Speaker 7: a man and you don't like me, I'm telling you, man, really,
- 35:33Speaker 7: it's because it's something wrong with you, dog, because really,
- 35:36Speaker 7: as a man, really, bruh, you really? You come on, man,
- 35:40Speaker 7: you can't meet me and not know that I'm that
- 35:44Speaker 7: dude right there. But now, even though the brothers in
- 35:49Speaker 7: the barbershop bothered me, the brothers in the barbershop helped
- 35:54Speaker 7: me out too, because a lot of them cats in
- 35:58Speaker 7: the barbershop was really cats that I thought I was
- 36:02Speaker 7: cool with. And that was the other purpose of the
- 36:04Speaker 7: haters too, so I could stop thinking somebody was really
- 36:10Speaker 7: alright with me and they really wasn't. Because you know,
- 36:13Speaker 7: sometimes man, it's just important to know who they are.
- 36:16Speaker 7: It's important to know who people really are in your life,
- 36:20Speaker 7: and you got to have certain circumstances to bring that

- 51:41Speaker 5: My name or my family's name in this church and
- 51:43Speaker 5: disrespect us like this. Now we've been helping this church
- 51:46Speaker 5: for years and.

- 56:26Speaker 8: Thank you, nephew, I mean thank you Thomas Miles. That's
- 56:29Speaker 8: right that week here Thomas Miles. All right, subject, please
- 56:34Speaker 8: leave me alone in the morning, please all right. Dear
- 56:37Speaker 8: Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty years old and I've been in
- 56:40Speaker 8: an open relationship with my man for almost twenty years.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Instead of cheating on one another, we do what we
- 56:47Speaker 8: do and keep it one hundred at all times. It
- 56:50Speaker 8: works for us, so people can judge us all they
- 56:54Speaker 8: want to. I get so tired of my man at times,
- 56:56Speaker 8: and I'm glad I can go and release my tension elsewhere.
- 57:00Speaker 1: It's not always about sex either.
- 57:02Speaker 8: I have a soul tie with another man and he's
- 57:05Speaker 8: just as special as my live in partner. I have
- 57:08Speaker 8: to keep him satisfied and nurture that relationship, and it's
- 57:12Speaker 8: wearing me.
- 57:12Speaker 17: Then.
- 57:13Speaker 8: I work from home and my live in wakes up
- 57:16Speaker 8: at four point thirty in the morning to start his day.
- 57:18Speaker 8: He's a morning person, meaning he's a type to want
- 57:21Speaker 8: sex when he rolls over every morning. That used to
- 57:25Speaker 8: not be a problem until I started dealing with my
- 57:27Speaker 8: other man more regularly. He also likes sex in the morning,
- 57:31Speaker 8: and when I meet him a few days a week
- 57:33Speaker 8: for breakfast, I sometimes have to forego the sex because
- 57:37Speaker 8: I've already been thoroughly.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Pleased for the day.
- 57:40Speaker 8: It has gotten to the point where I have to
- 57:42Speaker 8: ask both of the men if they could please leave
- 57:45Speaker 8: me alone in the morning. It's like the older they got,
- 57:49Speaker 8: the more they want sex, and I'm just the opposite.
- 57:52Speaker 8: I enjoy the connections with them over the sex. I
- 57:55Speaker 8: know my live in has a great woman that he
- 57:58Speaker 8: spends the night with sometimes that takes a pressure off
- 58:01Speaker 8: of me. But the other man in my life is
- 58:03Speaker 8: only having sex with me and only me. He is
- 58:07Speaker 8: hopeful that I will come to my senses and be
- 58:09Speaker 8: his wife one day soon. But I'm cool with the arrangement.
- 58:13Speaker 8: All I need is more peaceful mournings. How do I
- 58:16Speaker 8: create balance for both relationships without slighting one of them?
- 58:20Speaker 1: Please advise?
- 58:22Speaker 8: Oh, okay, this is what you're signed up for, right,
- 58:26Speaker 8: I mean an open relationship.
- 58:28Speaker 1: This is what you do in open relationships. You set
- 58:31Speaker 1: out of your own mouth that this works for you.
- 58:35Speaker 8: You've been doing this for twenty years, twenty years. That's
- 58:38Speaker 8: a very very long time. Who wouldn't be tired. Okay,
- 58:43Speaker 8: here's the thing about life, though, it is ever changing.
- 58:46Speaker 8: You are fifty now, you are changing. You're slowing down
- 58:49Speaker 8: a little bit. Things change, circumstances change, feelings change. The
- 58:53Speaker 8: only thing that doesn't change are the facts. And the
- 58:56Speaker 8: facts are that you are in an open relationship.
- 59:00Speaker 1: And pretty much anything and everything goes in these types
- 59:03Speaker 1: of situations.
- 59:04Speaker 5: You know that.
- 59:05Speaker 1: But remember you.
- 59:06Speaker 8: Said this works for you. Guess what, No, it doesn't
- 59:11Speaker 8: not anymore. I mean, you can't keep up. You can't
- 59:15Speaker 8: keep up with this unrealistic pace.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You have changed.
- 59:19Speaker 8: I told you that it's way too much for you now.
- 59:22Speaker 8: And because you're in an open relationship, that quote works
- 59:26Speaker 8: for you.
- 59:26Speaker 1: You said it.
- 59:27Speaker 8: You are allowing you're allowed to bring other people in.
- 59:30Speaker 8: So you're sleeping with another man now, who's wearing you out.
- 59:34Speaker 8: You're getting worn out. You said, they just won't leave
- 59:37Speaker 8: you alone in the morning. So for all we know,
- 59:40Speaker 8: you guys are like doing it right now. I mean,
- 59:42Speaker 8: this is a morning show.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I don't even want to think about that.
- 59:46Speaker 8: But but really it's always going on in the morning,
- 59:50Speaker 8: so you know, but you know, but you said it
- 59:53Speaker 8: works for you.
- 59:54Speaker 2: I say, stop all of this. You can do that.
- 59:56Speaker 8: It's time for a change. How much longer are you
- 59:58Speaker 8: going to put yourself through this? Not another twenty years?
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: I say it's time for you to close this open relationship.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: See you better talk, Shirley.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: You told some truth today. Man, I wish I had
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: thought of that line.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: You came on. You better tell the truth.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: You said it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Works for you. No it ain't. No, it ain't. This
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: ain't working for you, the whole damn letter. Stupid. Let
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: me open by just saying this. I don't care about
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: the letter.
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: I don't care about you, and I don't care about
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: none of this foolish This ain't this is working. This
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: ain't working for nobody but them. Stupid foolishness, your old ass.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Let me tell you something. Fifty is old for this
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: foolishness here. Let me tell you that right now. You
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: pulling this at fifty and been doing it for twenty years,
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: it's old. You old, and it done got old. That's
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: an age limit for all this ignorant mess you doing
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: so stupid behind. I can't stand people like this, and
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: then go right in on the national show like we
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: got some help for you.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: We ain't doing this. Well, know what to tell you?
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: Everybody in no damn open relationship, You're in a situation
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: that ain't no relationship. Relationships is when you have relations
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: with people and you can relate to them. You relating
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: to everybody so stupid behind and you set up in
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: here and you got this man that y'all stay with
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: and you get tired of him sometime. Okay, there you go.
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: I thought it was working for you, and I can
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: go over release my tension elsewhere else. Well, now it
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: ain't always about sex.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Well, what are you over that release?
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: Huh?
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: When you go to release your tension and it ain't
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: about sex, tell me what it is. But y'all over
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: there playing dominoes?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: What now?
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: I'll tell you what's wrong? And then you say, I
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: have a soul tied with another man.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: He's just as special as my living in Pardner.
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: What soul tied? Y'all having sex? This ain't no soul tie.
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: It's the same thing you got as you live in
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: all y'all see and who y'all want to see?
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: And now you tied? You know why?
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: Cause you own you old and woa out they your
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: old tail I have to say that it ain't need
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: fresh tale no more. You just woa out old tale.

- 1:02:43Speaker 8: alone in the morning. We'll get back into it right
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: after this.

- 1:04:10Speaker 7: closed off. Seal got nails in the coffin border up
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: at the door. It's a tight can't get nothing else
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: in here. You're sitting up in here being twenty years
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: with the same man. Y'all do what y'all want to do.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: He got somebody and then sometimes your man get on
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: your nerves and you know you're gonna talk about so
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: people can judge us all they want.
- 1:04:31Speaker 18: What.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: Okay, Well here comes some more judging, because he wrote
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: in now here comes some more damn judge. I get
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: so tired of my man that time. Well, okay, so
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: I got glad. I can go somewhere and release my attention.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: So you gonna go somewhere and hair set. That's what
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: this here is. It's not always about sex, Yes it is.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: What else is you doing over there to release tension?
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: Whereas you're going over that wash dishes? What what is
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: you out there taking out the garbage?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: How you releasing chic? What you washing this car for?
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: It?
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: You just a lie card?
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: You over there having sex with this man and then
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: sitting in there talking about I have a sole tie
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: with another man and he's just as special as my
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: living in partner. Now lord him, mercy man, make up
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: your rabbit ass man. You gotta live in partner and
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: a soul tie with a man that's just as special
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: as your living in partner. Then you come sitting up
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: in here. I gotta keep him satisfied to nurture that relationship,
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: and it's wearing me thin. No, the ain't thin out.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: Then wore your ass out. You ain't record being no more?
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Can't keep this up?
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: You fitted.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: I work from home and my live in wakes up
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: at four thirty in the morning, start his day. He
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: a morning person, and he got to have that type
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: of sex to want when he roll over every morning.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Okay, And then that used to not be a problem.
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: Then you started dealing with your other man on the
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: red and he likes sex too in the morning, and
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: when I meet him a few days a week for breakfast,
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: I sometimes had to forego to sex because he already
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: been thoroughly pleased for the day.
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: What what?
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: What?
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: So everywhere you.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: Go somebody trying to do you. You can't go no
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: damn well without somebody trying to do you. Man, that's
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: a lot of damn pressure right there. If everywhere you
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: go you woke up somebody, did you gonna meet the
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: other one for breakfast?
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: He wanted to do you? Then you get back home
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: and lo and behold his ass is fuck.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: In for twenty years.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Twenty years. It is the warha old ass out.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: It's gotten to the point where I've had to ask
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: both of my men if they could please leave me
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: alone in the morning. Why don't you leave them alone?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Stupid? It ain't them. They messing with you because they
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: like using you, because that's what you are. You the dumpster.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: You got two men dumping on you, and more than that,
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: because you've been doing it for twenty years. It's just
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: another one, this one you're telling us. So you've been
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: you've been a girl. Please come on now, let me
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: finish you off. I know my living has a great
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: woman that he spends the night with sometime, and that
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: takes the pressure off of what.
- 1:07:31Speaker 19: He got.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: A great woman that he spends time and he's spend
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: the night over here. But the other man in my
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: life is only having sex with me and only me.
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: You st.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: You think?
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Let me ask you something.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: You think he know you live with this man and
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: know you having sex with him, and you having sex
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: with him. But sometime at breakfast you have the four
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: gold is sex and you telling me Steve Hardy that
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: this man is just having sex with you and only you.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: You dumb, just like the rest of this damn letter?
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Is you dumb? Just like the rest of this damn letter?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: You one stupid woman?
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: And if you think this man is just having sex
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: with you, are you lost your mind?
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: And you said he has a high.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: Sex drive, you coming over for breakfast and you too
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: tired because you got wore out?
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Girl bye.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: He is hopeful that I will come to my senses
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: and be his wife one day soon. Oh that's what
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: he told you. Wait, that's what he told you, brave.
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: Hold up, lady, you think that this man wants you
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: to come to your senses and be his wife girl. No,
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: that's what he said.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: We have no advice to you.
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: How let you keep on doing what you're doing until
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: you wad let me tell you, we'll not come back.
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you one other thing about this relationship.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: I just won't say one thing.

- 1:10:20Speaker 7: she talking about she needs some advice. You fifty, you're
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: too damn old for this. Nobody won't tell old. You
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: done wore that old raggedy tail out. Now you sitting
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: have been trying to figure out how to conservative, And
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you something else. A little boy, I
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: had a raggedy tail. One time I had two rac
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: coon tails on my bike. They were stuck in my handleballs,
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: and when I drove down the street, then raccoon tails
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: flew in the wind.
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: I remember one time I got that rac coon tail
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: caught in a card dough somehow, and I kept trying
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: to pull it out the door.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: I was just tearing the.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Hard, tearing the hall for that tail. I was just
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: weighing that tail out, and then it started raining outside.
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: By the time I got that old raggedy ass tail
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: out that card though it had half defer on it
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: as the other one, and I had rained on it,
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: and then that little bit of hair got magic down.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: I pull up at the house with my bike, my
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: mama on the back porch and looked down to me
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: and say, Stevie, where you get that little raggedy tail from?
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: You probably said, Steve, what they got to do with
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: this story? Well, let's fifty the old woman that got
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: caught in the card dough then snatched all the half
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: her teal, then roll it out in and got rained on.
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: And now little Steven looking at her hair, trying to
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: figure out where you want us to tell you about
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: that little raggedy tail you got you exhausted, then wow
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: yourself out and I throwing a thank God for that
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: analogy for me riding my bike with that one little
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: raggedy tail.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Razing hot tail get raggedy.
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: Don't let your tail get ragged, don't let your tail
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: get caught in the card though, Yes, girl, don't let
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: your tail get rained.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Thought, Yeah, like a good raggedy tail story, oh man.
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: And the last thing you want to do is put
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: a raggedy tail hanging out your hand.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: It didn't look nothing like the other tail lord have
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: raggedy What a beautiful moment, Junior. I'm sighing about that.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: I'm talking.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: I love it, man, But it was kind of it
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: was a little sport too, because I was talking about
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: bike riding for that was not sports for the day.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: That was cycling. Now, yeah, then you're gonna tell me cycling.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Thank you about it? Yeah, cycling. That raggedy tail hanging
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: out to your hand.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Man up at the top of the uptol looked.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Like it was fifty years old.
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: Morning Show, All right, Steve. This one is from Lenae
- 1:13:12Speaker 8: in Houston. Renee says, I went to Sam's Club and
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: before I could pay for my items, I had to
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: renew our membership. Customer service said it was ninety dollars
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: for the three people on the account. It was supposed
- 1:13:24Speaker 8: to be only my husband and I on the account,
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: but a female was added to our account on November seventeenth.
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: I called my husband and he said it's no big deal.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: He let his co worker, who's a single mom, use
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: our account. Well, a single mom doesn't need to buy
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: in bulk, so I canceled her card. I told my husband,
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: I want to meet the single mom. He said, I
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: should be ashamed of myself. I have her name and address.
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: So should I pop up and introduce myself to this woman?
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: No?
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: I mean, why are you going over there? Your deal
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: is with your husband. See, y'all, let me tell what
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: y'all gonna do. Y'all gonna miss around and run up
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: on somebody that don't feel getting ran.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Upon that day? True?
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: And and and and get yourself in a real situation. Okay,
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: let's let's just say. Let's let's say she is a
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: single mother and she going through it. She just just
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: one of them days. Man, she ain't making the ends meet, right,
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: She's struggling. She just overwhelmed. And now here you come.
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: And and she ain't just with it today? Uh that
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: you done came over to her house? And I guess what.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: When you roll up, remember you can get rolled up.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: You just have to remember that nice and tight. See.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Why would why would he do that adding her without
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: telling his wife?
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Why would he do that? Was stupid?
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: How you thought your wife wasn't gonna find that right.
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: That was dumb, like a doknob Dog. Why didn't you
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: just get her her own card?
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: Bro?
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: I don't know how much you Sam's cards call once
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: a year maybe to join or something.
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: Fifty to joint for one fifty year, three hundred a
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: year by her own membership.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Dog. That's how you that's how you be gangster?
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: What did you adding her without saying anything? And you
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: know your wife's gonna find out and.
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: Nigg I took her off. You should be ashamed of yourself. Boy,
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: you know how long that's gonna last at your house.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: You should be ashamed of yourself. You can't tell that
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: to the right to the wrong system. As a matter
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: of fact, No, sister, I know none of them on
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: this show.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Ignorant.
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: He's ignorantant on this show right here. Well we know
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: y'all should be ashamed of yourself. You are me, Yes,
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: you are, Yes, you are called and I'm talking to you.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: No, no, my husband not putting nobody on my Sam.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: We're not, at least yeah, we're.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Not doing that. No no, no, no, no no, you're
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: not putting nobody on the no woman on the Sam's account.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: If I know about it, I don't give a damn And.
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: She stayed across the sheet street and I watch her
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: husband in the front yard.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Really, why you go so fally.
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: Sam's card for now? You ain't got to buy in
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: balk he gone? Didn't you know what the lady said?
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: Why is she buying in bulk? See, this is why
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: you can't do comedy no more because the people this show.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: I'm.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: We didn't understand it.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: Well, it's it's it's a hypothetical situation. Ain't nobody across
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: the street and now you want to help the lady out?
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: Why why she need a Sam card now? Because the
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: biggest eating in the house is gone?
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: You know you can't. And that's what comedy is.
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: Comedy is saying something real crazy that somebody might be
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: thinking and too scared to say it. But now you
- 1:16:51Speaker 7: do that now political correctness and killed it. I'm gonna
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: do anohing, Go ahead, do the next from washing ain't
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: gonna Oh, okay, go ahead, go ahead.
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: All right, we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:17:04Speaker 8: one's from Florence, Florence in Columbia. Florence says, hi, crew,
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: I'm twenty four years old. Florence is my middle name
- 1:17:11Speaker 8: and I use it because I don't like my first name.
- 1:17:14Speaker 8: I was named after my grandma, Florence, and she just
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: moved in with us. I never spent a lot of
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: time around this grandma, and she's different from my other grandma.
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: My mom is black and my dad is white. I
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: grew up around my dad's family and they were regular
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: and boring. My grandma Florence is black, and she's very
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: honest and direct. So I've done a lot of crying
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: and a lot of laughing since she moved in. I
- 1:17:38Speaker 8: don't think she likes me, so I'm trying to get
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: on her good side. How do I deal with her personality?
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: Yeah, we're gonna head to do this when we'll be
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: come back. You got the black grandma, all right.
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: Morning Show.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: So Steve, this is from Florence and Columbia. She says, Hi, crew,
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: I'm twenty four. Florence is my middle name. I use
- 1:18:04Speaker 8: it because I don't like my first name. I was
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: named after my grandma, Florence. She just moved in with us.
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: I've never spent a lot of time around this grandma,
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: and she's different from my other grandma. My mom is
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: black and my dad is white. I grew up around
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: my dad's family. They were regular and boring. Grandma Florence
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: is black and she's very honest and direct. So I've
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: done a lot of crying, a lot of laughings since
- 1:18:24Speaker 8: she moved in. I don't think she likes me, and
- 1:18:26Speaker 8: so how do I deal with her personality?
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: Well, there is nothing you could do because old people
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: not fitting to change. I am a bit curious though,
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: that your name you use Florence because you didn't like
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: the first You like Florence, So I ain't know if
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: you like Florence.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: What is that first name? Because Florence is old as hell.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: So you're probably mad at your grandmama because you got
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: named after her. You didn't get named after the white grandmother.
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: Your name would have been Becky, Chillie An or something
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: like that. They took first name when they country. Reason
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: you picked with with floors because you didn't care. You
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: didn't want to be called Kizzie. You didn't want to
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: be called Opadetta, one of them old last names. So
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: I think you should embrace your old grandmother. I'm tell
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: you right now because she's talking about the white grandmama.
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: That's what you don't like because you spend a lot
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: of time with you know you bet you get over
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: here and eat this far I send you over there
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: and have to eat, went back and cook. All she
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: did was running under the cap water. You season it
