- 0:00Speaker 1: My guest is Dr Cole Robert Jones, veteran of the industry.
- 0:04Speaker 1: More more important of veteran of the entertainment industry. The
- 0:07Speaker 1: Code work in their talent management and casting before shifting
- 0:10Speaker 1: her talents to help others bank roll their brilliance. That's
- 0:14Speaker 1: why I got on the show Money Making Conversation. She
- 0:17Speaker 1: had to worry bank roll already, so we're started in
- 0:20Speaker 1: the right direction with the Code. The Code now works
- 0:22Speaker 1: with entrepreneurs to create multiple strings of income, which we
- 0:26Speaker 1: love hearing about on Money Making Conversation master Class for
- 0:29Speaker 1: what they already know to build an empire from their
- 0:32Speaker 1: own expertise and especially their brilliance. Addiently, she provides training
- 0:36Speaker 1: and development to corporations to raise employee engagement and retention.
- 0:41Speaker 1: The military need to be talking to her, please working
- 0:43Speaker 1: to Money and Money Making Conversations master Class and one
- 0:46Speaker 1: and only drn Cole Roberts Jones excited to be here.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Thank you for having me. Well, first of all, thank
- 0:52Speaker 1: you for taking the time to come on my show again.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Um so, because I I kind of jokingly said that
- 0:59Speaker 1: about you know when you said that corporations, you know,
- 1:03Speaker 1: raising employment engagement, employee engagement and retention, and the military
- 1:07Speaker 1: has the problem. Have you positioned yourself they be talked
- 1:11Speaker 1: to the military or as the military approached you, because
- 1:14Speaker 1: that's the skill set they know they need, especially creating recruitment,
- 1:18Speaker 1: engagement and then also retention because uh awise to camp.
- 1:23Speaker 1: You know, the military recruitment has always receiving another lot
- 1:27Speaker 1: of negative backlash. They're not reading them their numbers, which
- 1:30Speaker 1: will become dangerous here pretty soon talked. So all right,
- 1:34Speaker 1: so what's funny is I have government as my number
- 1:36Speaker 1: one goal for three so you just speaking the prophecying
- 1:39Speaker 1: over there. So yes, I have as my goal to
- 1:42Speaker 1: because here's one thing I know, Sean is no matter
- 1:45Speaker 1: what you do, your purpose is of one thing you
- 1:47Speaker 1: never get fired from. So if you've got a line
- 1:49Speaker 1: that with your work, not only will you love it,
- 1:51Speaker 1: but you're overperformed everybody else. So yes, definitely I'm looking
- 1:54Speaker 1: into more government. You have to, because like I said,
- 1:57Speaker 1: that's the world. And I'm really talking about the military side,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you know, the army, the neighbor all of all those
- 2:03Speaker 1: little closely always said because of the fact that you know,
- 2:06Speaker 1: you know, it's like the police, you complain about the police,
- 2:09Speaker 1: ta just dial that one one. Okay. You complain about
- 2:12Speaker 1: the army and you said, who's protecting our borders? Okay,
- 2:16Speaker 1: So that means that there are people out there that
- 2:17Speaker 1: we need to be able to position to do those things.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And let's go back to a little bit because I
- 2:23Speaker 1: love the fact that you do now because you've always
- 2:26Speaker 1: been a person that has, you know, sought our talent,
- 2:29Speaker 1: had an eye for talent in your casting days, let's
- 2:32Speaker 1: talk about that because being a person that we needn't
- 2:34Speaker 1: for auditions, who mailed his head chat in trying to
- 2:37Speaker 1: get cast, that was always an annoying part of my life.
- 2:41Speaker 1: What were you looking for in that genre when he
- 2:44Speaker 1: was talking? When you was when you was doing talent
- 2:46Speaker 1: management and also casting. You know, It's interesting is I've
- 2:49Speaker 1: always been, since I was four or five years old,
- 2:52Speaker 1: someone that could see people's natural talent. And my friends
- 2:54Speaker 1: called it bossy back then, and I would like make
- 2:57Speaker 1: suggestions of what you should do. So when I worked
- 2:59Speaker 1: in ev and film, the thing that was easy for
- 3:02Speaker 1: me is when you came in for an audition, I
- 3:04Speaker 1: could see you, so I can look past where you
- 3:06Speaker 1: could act or not. That was a whole another conversation
- 3:09Speaker 1: I could see you and how you could fit into
- 3:11Speaker 1: the script. Acting is you know, you have to be
- 3:13Speaker 1: able to act to do that piece, but beyond just that,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I had to be able to see you inside of
- 3:18Speaker 1: that role. So I think that was my gift and
- 3:21Speaker 1: that's really what I do when entrepreneurs now is being
- 3:23Speaker 1: able to see or even corporate executives being able to
- 3:25Speaker 1: see who you be. I have that aligns with the
- 3:28Speaker 1: work that you should do well because sometimes people going
- 3:32Speaker 1: from one role and he said, you know, you'll fit
- 3:35Speaker 1: beat over here and so and so that's important when
- 3:40Speaker 1: sometimes in jobs that you do, you might be doing
- 3:43Speaker 1: this job, but they may not be your strength. How
- 3:45Speaker 1: do you break down the people the reality of what
- 3:48Speaker 1: they gift really is versus what they want to do.
- 3:51Speaker 1: M hm. That's so good. So I think many of
- 3:53Speaker 1: us grow up in culture where we make lists, right,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I want two point five kids, I want to have
- 3:59Speaker 1: this house, I'm wanna work in this career, but we
- 4:01Speaker 1: don't stop long enough to tap into our soul and
- 4:03Speaker 1: we really understand who we be at our core. So
- 4:07Speaker 1: it's really looking beyond what the world says, what perception says,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and the list that we make to really get to
- 4:12Speaker 1: know yourself on a deeper level. I think when I
- 4:15Speaker 1: meet many people, it's not even that your original list
- 4:18Speaker 1: isn't an alignment with what you're great at. It maybe
- 4:20Speaker 1: that you just have outgrown that place like that, and
- 4:24Speaker 1: so it's really going to that next level. You know.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Oftentimes I say God doesn't rumble you up because he's like,
- 4:29Speaker 1: okay with where you are, He's looking for who you
- 4:31Speaker 1: have not yet come And it's in that place that
- 4:34Speaker 1: we've got to do the work to move to your
- 4:36Speaker 1: next You know what I always talk about on this
- 4:37Speaker 1: show a lot of people, you know it's an entrepreneur show,
- 4:40Speaker 1: really is a show about life because you know, I
- 4:43Speaker 1: talk about the relationships. That's what this show is about.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Because if you don't have poor community, you have poor
- 4:48Speaker 1: communication and relationship. You don't have a relationship. Same thing
- 4:51Speaker 1: that's your job, same thing as a business, don't same
- 4:53Speaker 1: things as an entrepreneur. So do you take that global
- 4:57Speaker 1: perspective when you're talking to you put to clients, are
- 5:00Speaker 1: talking to people, trying to motivate them and realize that
- 5:02Speaker 1: the skill that you're giving them should be universal. M hm.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So really, to be honest with you, it's not even
- 5:10Speaker 1: about you. So when you think about what you do
- 5:12Speaker 1: for a living, it's about listen profit where profit means gain.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So ultimately the goal is this, how are you gaining
- 5:20Speaker 1: for that person you If you're worried about gaining for
- 5:23Speaker 1: your pocketbook, you're always gonna behind. And I'm not saying
- 5:25Speaker 1: don't make money, because we have money making conversations, but
- 5:27Speaker 1: if you can up level that and understand that when
- 5:30Speaker 1: you bless somebody with the thing that you do, they're gaining.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And ultimately, when you do the thing that you were
- 5:35Speaker 1: born to do, your gaining for God, because what you're
- 5:38Speaker 1: doing is moving in agenda forward as you bless the
- 5:41Speaker 1: people that need you. So it's bigger than just a check.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's about what impact are you making with the thing
- 5:47Speaker 1: that you do. So I'm speaking to Dr Dr Nicole
- 5:50Speaker 1: and Robert Jones, and it's about when I bring on
- 5:53Speaker 1: the show. She has a lot of natural instincts, and
- 5:57Speaker 1: so we all have natural instincts, but it's how you
- 6:00Speaker 1: allow them to manifest themselves to your dreams, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and when you start talking about multiple streams of income,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and that's I read that out in her credit. You know,
- 6:09Speaker 1: she always emphasized that can you explain to people what
- 6:12Speaker 1: exactly that is, just in case they don't know. UM. So,
- 6:16Speaker 1: as an entrepreneur, if you're only working with your clients
- 6:19Speaker 1: and you have to be present, you already capping off
- 6:21Speaker 1: two things. Obviously you're I'm gonna say how much money
- 6:23Speaker 1: you make, but it's Ownso how much transformation that you're
- 6:27Speaker 1: able to impact in this world. So when you think
- 6:30Speaker 1: about all the ways you can take your DNA, your
- 6:32Speaker 1: distinct natural ability and package it into multiple ways you
- 6:35Speaker 1: can serve people. Most of them, some of them, I
- 6:40Speaker 1: would say most, but some of them should be what
- 6:41Speaker 1: I call making money while you sleep. So right now,
- 6:43Speaker 1: somebody's going through one of my programs and I'm not there.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm here with you. You know. I've had clients in
- 6:48Speaker 1: Singapore and rub and listen Singapore a usually when I'm
- 6:51Speaker 1: sleep there awake, and vice versa. That means that they
- 6:53Speaker 1: were going through a program or they were going through
- 6:56Speaker 1: one of my programs online and I wasn't present. So
- 6:59Speaker 1: when you look at all the ways, and I think,
- 7:01Speaker 1: if I give you a concrete example, UM, a lawyer
- 7:04Speaker 1: that I work with before, and most lawyers think and
- 7:07Speaker 1: this is replies to everybody that you know they have
- 7:09Speaker 1: to be present and or lawyers like why can't give
- 7:12Speaker 1: legal advice? But there are a whole lot of things
- 7:14Speaker 1: that you know because you would do law school that
- 7:16Speaker 1: the typical person doesn't know. So the lawyer that I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: thinking of in general or specifically, whether I should say,
- 7:22Speaker 1: is a family practice lawyer. And I'm when I said
- 7:24Speaker 1: to her, what do people come to you for the most,
- 7:26Speaker 1: She said, divorce? I said, how many people do you
- 7:29Speaker 1: turn away because they can't afford you abillable hours? She said,
- 7:31Speaker 1: oh a lot. If you walk them through how to
- 7:34Speaker 1: pull out their own paard money making times, at least
- 7:39Speaker 1: it's better than nothing, and then you also be something
- 7:41Speaker 1: to return. It's revenue in your business, looking at all
- 7:45Speaker 1: the ways that you're leaving transformation behind because you're only
- 7:48Speaker 1: looking one dimensionally at your gift. We'll be right back
- 7:51Speaker 1: with more Money Making Conversations Master Class with Rushan McDonald.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Now let's return to Money Making Conversation Masterclass with Rashan McDonald.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know, I think that I call the mailbox money.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You know, you just you open the mailbox, lord, they're chick.
- 8:09Speaker 1: That's mail box money. And some people. Some people used
- 8:13Speaker 1: the terminology you know money, but are you sleep, which
- 8:16Speaker 1: is another terminology. The bottom line is that if you
- 8:20Speaker 1: are physically tied to the money that you make, that
- 8:23Speaker 1: means that you are physically tied to that, which means
- 8:26Speaker 1: that you can't get sick, which means that you have
- 8:28Speaker 1: to worry about days off, which means you have to
- 8:30Speaker 1: worry about vacation, which you have to worry and not
- 8:33Speaker 1: saying that mailbox money prevents that from happening. But guess
- 8:37Speaker 1: what if you got another job and you get mailbox money,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and you got another job and you're making money while
- 8:42Speaker 1: you sleep. That determines the level of conversation. What we're saying,
- 8:46Speaker 1: multiple streams of income. Yeah, and ever give you another
- 8:49Speaker 1: example for you don't mind because some people think this
- 8:50Speaker 1: doesn't apply to them. I had a woman who was
- 8:53Speaker 1: a gymnast. The used to train kids. Now when I
- 8:57Speaker 1: met her, she was in the authorities, and I sent her,
- 8:58Speaker 1: how much more are you're gonna be able to up?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Let's keep it all the way real, so in a minute,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you're not gonna even getting the floor flip. How are
- 9:04Speaker 1: you gonna make money? She was silent. I said, so
- 9:06Speaker 1: what you need to realize now is how do you
- 9:08Speaker 1: shift it now before it's too late. And what she
- 9:10Speaker 1: said to me was because of course I suggested that
- 9:13Speaker 1: you hire other people teach them of your methodology, and
- 9:15Speaker 1: you can have other people teaching it. She said, well,
- 9:17Speaker 1: if somebody might steal it, I said, girl, do you
- 9:18Speaker 1: know what the lawyer is number one number too? Why
- 9:22Speaker 1: don't you buy the gym that you're doing this stuff
- 9:24Speaker 1: in so that you can use it more than just
- 9:25Speaker 1: your classes. You can rint it out, rint out for
- 9:27Speaker 1: parties and so so it's really thinking outside of the
- 9:30Speaker 1: box to all the other revenue opportunities that are available
- 9:34Speaker 1: to you instead of just again, think about it in
- 9:36Speaker 1: one way. Now, you're so funny just changing the ductor
- 9:40Speaker 1: co Robert Jones. You know, if you gotta watch her
- 9:44Speaker 1: listening to her as cool, you gotta watch it. She
- 9:46Speaker 1: is so expressive. She's one of the people where I
- 9:48Speaker 1: wish I had known that in college she would have
- 9:50Speaker 1: been a who because she's really you can come on,
- 9:54Speaker 1: we go out for drinks. We have a god. You
- 9:57Speaker 1: see the words come out, you see you know you
- 10:00Speaker 1: see them and they're like they like hitting you like
- 10:03Speaker 1: see and something to say, and that's why I love
- 10:05Speaker 1: talking about which means that that's why she's so successful,
- 10:09Speaker 1: because in fact, she's very expressive. But if there's a
- 10:11Speaker 1: conversation that allows you to believe that that, that can
- 10:15Speaker 1: be part of your DNA. Now, when we're talking about
- 10:18Speaker 1: people who are afraid to create change in their life,
- 10:22Speaker 1: create changing their relationships, I always keep going back to
- 10:25Speaker 1: relationship because a lot of people, when I can start
- 10:27Speaker 1: talking about create change, start talking about job, talking about fear.
- 10:29Speaker 1: There are people out there relationship right now they don't
- 10:32Speaker 1: want to be in, but they're afraid to make change.
- 10:34Speaker 1: There are people out there working jobs for the hours
- 10:36Speaker 1: a week. They don't want to have. People out there
- 10:38Speaker 1: got a hamburger sitting on their shall No, it's no good,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but they're afraid to make change. I was talking to
- 10:43Speaker 1: this company. They brought me in. They had me sample
- 10:45Speaker 1: all their food. I told him what I didn't like
- 10:47Speaker 1: about it. Because everybody knows I'm a food I said,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I hate your fries. I said, I'm a fry person. Change.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Oh no, our customers love those fries. But are they
- 10:55Speaker 1: what customers? Is it a bunch of customers or just
- 10:58Speaker 1: a customers who come to that. You trying to get
- 11:00Speaker 1: to the bunch of customers. Now, a bunch of customers
- 11:03Speaker 1: like that, Rishan has nothing to say. But if just
- 11:05Speaker 1: a few people like those fries, and you're trying to
- 11:07Speaker 1: get to a bunch, change those fries. So that's the conversation.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You're you're holing into people all the time. People are
- 11:14Speaker 1: resistant to change. Tell us about that. So you know,
- 11:17Speaker 1: one of the things that I always say is your
- 11:19Speaker 1: comfort zone is where your dreams go to die. Because
- 11:22Speaker 1: what happens is when you're trying to stay comfortable. That means,
- 11:26Speaker 1: as my Auntie You's always say, don't limit God's ability
- 11:29Speaker 1: to bless you because you can't see this other possibility
- 11:32Speaker 1: when faith Hebrews. Everyone says faith is a substance of things.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Hope for the evidence of things not seen. So you're
- 11:40Speaker 1: limiting what's possible by only by what you can see.
- 11:43Speaker 1: And when God is wanting something inside of you, it's
- 11:45Speaker 1: always gonna be bigger than what you say. I know
- 11:47Speaker 1: why I'm gonna get into the Bible. One my favorite
- 11:49Speaker 1: Bible versus Defeatures three twenty is if God's gonna do
- 11:53Speaker 1: abundantly above all you could ask or think, if it's
- 11:56Speaker 1: bigger than what you've ever seen and what you ever
- 11:58Speaker 1: thought of. Yesh, it's gonna be scared. But that's what
- 12:01Speaker 1: God does his best work, where we really completely and
- 12:04Speaker 1: totally on him and expand what's possible. That's my girl,
- 12:08Speaker 1: dr No and the code Robert Jones. Now, now that's
- 12:11Speaker 1: time to my little this part of you pull if
- 12:14Speaker 1: you far away from the from the microphone, from the radio,
- 12:17Speaker 1: the podcast, to get close. She's about to give out
- 12:20Speaker 1: some steps. Now again she tell us about your own
- 12:22Speaker 1: life classes before we get into the tips of the
- 12:25Speaker 1: bank rolling your brilliance. I'm sorry to tell you about
- 12:29Speaker 1: what your online classes that you offer so so well,
- 12:32Speaker 1: there's so many different kinds. And here's the thing I
- 12:34Speaker 1: want you guys to get. Everybody is not a cookie cutter.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Everybody is different. So it said, I'd rather give out
- 12:39Speaker 1: a free gift. The free gift is my bank all
- 12:42Speaker 1: your brains E book. And the reason I'm doing this
- 12:44Speaker 1: is because one it will allow you to see where
- 12:46Speaker 1: you are. But if you know me like you think
- 12:48Speaker 1: you might know me, you know you'll get another email
- 12:50Speaker 1: from me, which is also wait for your obsess where
- 12:52Speaker 1: you are. So the book it's bank for all your
- 12:54Speaker 1: brilliance book dot com and in that book gives you
- 12:59Speaker 1: fifteen ways a profit from your brilliance, your DNA, or
- 13:03Speaker 1: your genius. Well one of the top ones that because
- 13:07Speaker 1: my wife always tells me that she's she hear me
- 13:10Speaker 1: on the phone talking to people. You know, stop getting
- 13:12Speaker 1: away your intellectual property for free? And I always tell like,
- 13:16Speaker 1: O clear, everybody do with me? And you know, and
- 13:20Speaker 1: and and just as a stand up comedy, I always
- 13:22Speaker 1: go back to where our stand up comedy is because
- 13:24Speaker 1: I used to know comedians, you know, they wouldn't go
- 13:26Speaker 1: on stage and do their best set because they were
- 13:28Speaker 1: afraid somebody might steal a joke. And I've always been
- 13:31Speaker 1: the mindset is that I'm not a well that's gonna
- 13:33Speaker 1: run dry. You know, I'm not only that, but always
- 13:37Speaker 1: say a second rate version of me is never gonna
- 13:39Speaker 1: come the first come on now. So so when stop
- 13:41Speaker 1: giving a whare your intellectual property for free? Tell us
- 13:44Speaker 1: over that that's one of your tips how to bank
- 13:46Speaker 1: roll your brothers. I'm missing a serious question, got you?
- 13:48Speaker 1: So yes? So listen, we walk around overlooking our brilliance,
- 13:53Speaker 1: meaning that we think, oh, doesn't everybody know how to
- 13:55Speaker 1: do this. Oh, this is easy. So you give away content, context, advice,
- 14:00Speaker 1: and if I give you a tangible Except I have
- 14:01Speaker 1: a girlfriend as a journalist, and she was talking about
- 14:03Speaker 1: people call her and try, you know, to ask how
- 14:05Speaker 1: she got on TV. I said, stop it. You know
- 14:07Speaker 1: you're coaching people, right She said, oh, yeah, you're giving
- 14:10Speaker 1: away your cookie for free. So I need to stop
- 14:13Speaker 1: doing that. And so she created a whole on air academy.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So it's really understanding how do you not understanding? It's
- 14:19Speaker 1: really seeing that you have value that people will pay for.
- 14:23Speaker 1: That makes a difference. Well, it's kind of interesting because
- 14:27Speaker 1: I guess the level of people that called me, because
- 14:29Speaker 1: you know, they would probably not be signing up for
- 14:31Speaker 1: online class. Go who just going to? I go, well,
- 14:34Speaker 1: they just some advice. But I know that exactly. And
- 14:37Speaker 1: I think maybe one day I'll sit down with you,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Dr Jones, because I need that coaching, you know, because
- 14:42Speaker 1: people always tell me that I hear the word genius, uh, brilliant,
- 14:48Speaker 1: ability to the marketing brand things. I've done it so
- 14:51Speaker 1: many years consistently, but I haven't been able to wrapped
- 14:54Speaker 1: my head around how does that feel like a course?
- 14:57Speaker 1: How do you look like a person like me. They
- 14:59Speaker 1: tell him, I need to the book. You know. Some
- 15:00Speaker 1: people say many documentary on you. You You know, right, So,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but these are compliments. But how do you turn compliments
- 15:07Speaker 1: into revenue? So the first thing that I do with
- 15:10Speaker 1: my clients is we create what I call a blueprint
- 15:13Speaker 1: or a methodology. So because you cannot see the label
- 15:16Speaker 1: from inside the jar, what do I mean by that? Okay,
- 15:18Speaker 1: so don't judge me. This is not cool. Like this
- 15:20Speaker 1: is vitamin water, okay, but on this water bottle there
- 15:24Speaker 1: is a label. If you live inside a jar and
- 15:28Speaker 1: the labels on outside, you can't see what you do.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So then when you try this is why it's harpy Shane,
- 15:33Speaker 1: when you try to then package what you do into
- 15:36Speaker 1: some kind of methodology to teach people, it's hard because
- 15:38Speaker 1: you just do it effortlessly. So helping some having someone
- 15:43Speaker 1: that can produce you this is where I say my
- 15:45Speaker 1: TV and from from casting to producing comes into play,
- 15:47Speaker 1: because really what I do is take you through an exercise.
- 15:49Speaker 1: When I'm producing the value that is coming out of
- 15:52Speaker 1: you effortlessly, I can see it. We write it down,
- 15:54Speaker 1: we create a methodology from it. Now, what do I
- 15:56Speaker 1: mean by that. Most people have a think about it
- 15:59Speaker 1: like this. When I wake up in the morning and
- 16:01Speaker 1: I washed my face, I have a whole routine that
- 16:03Speaker 1: I rushed my teeth, washed my face, put on my makeup.
- 16:06Speaker 1: If I forget to do something, it is because I
- 16:08Speaker 1: did something out of order. I have a methodology and
- 16:11Speaker 1: so when I'm outside of it, something is off and
- 16:14Speaker 1: I can feel it. It's the same way we each
- 16:16Speaker 1: function in our gifts, and we don't realize it because
- 16:18Speaker 1: we're on autopilot. So it's really taking the time to
- 16:21Speaker 1: have someone help you do that, and you can't do
- 16:23Speaker 1: it because again you can't see the label. So there'll
- 16:25Speaker 1: be things that you overlook which we intrinsically all do that.
- 16:29Speaker 1: We'll be right back with more Money Making Conversations Masterclass
- 16:32Speaker 1: with Rushan McDonald. Now, let's return to Money Making Conversations
- 16:39Speaker 1: Masterclass with Rushan McDonald. You know, I agree with this
- 16:44Speaker 1: habit because like when I travel, if I break tradition
- 16:48Speaker 1: like finish I travel, will will always have a carry bag,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and sometimes I have a carry bag I can put
- 16:53Speaker 1: in the up top. Like when I went to Orlando
- 16:56Speaker 1: last week, I didn't bring the carry bag to put
- 16:59Speaker 1: up top. I just check luggage and child. When I
- 17:02Speaker 1: got off from that plane scene, I was like, Okay,
- 17:05Speaker 1: something comfortable, right, somethings are comfortable. Same thing McDonald to
- 17:12Speaker 1: coach on the plane, you know, making conversation Because class McDonald,
- 17:19Speaker 1: you really have to be aware of doing things successfully
- 17:24Speaker 1: and a have it way. Because you break habit, it
- 17:28Speaker 1: does impact your life. Yeah, yeah, and so what in
- 17:31Speaker 1: essence you have to do is take the thing that
- 17:33Speaker 1: you've been doing. Look, every morning when I wake up,
- 17:36Speaker 1: I can't wake up and say I think I feel
- 17:37Speaker 1: like being reshawned today. Yeah, that will not work every
- 17:40Speaker 1: day automatically in the cold. So again, there's things that
- 17:43Speaker 1: I do that I don't even realize that I'm doing.
- 17:45Speaker 1: My husband sometimes laughs at me, like do you realize
- 17:47Speaker 1: you do this? Like I laugh, and then I always
- 17:49Speaker 1: got the end of me laughing. I'm like, I didn't
- 17:51Speaker 1: know I did that. So it's again that's who I am,
- 17:54Speaker 1: and what I do is I laugh really hardy and
- 17:55Speaker 1: I feel like I need to breathe after I laugh.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's for me what that is. But I'm sharing that
- 17:59Speaker 1: because of us do things that we don't realize that
- 18:01Speaker 1: we're doing. So it's really taking the time to hire
- 18:04Speaker 1: someone that can pull that out of you so that
- 18:06Speaker 1: you can then create programming from that. That is the
- 18:11Speaker 1: yummy stuff that gets left out when people are building businesses.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I am going to We're going to connect because I
- 18:17Speaker 1: think that I need to bring you into my life
- 18:20Speaker 1: to develop that platform because I really don't know what
- 18:24Speaker 1: to do. I really don't know. But everything you're saying
- 18:26Speaker 1: it is absolutely correct. And if you have time, I will.
- 18:29Speaker 1: You know, this interview is about you what I do
- 18:32Speaker 1: for a living. I mean I'm getting personal or now
- 18:37Speaker 1: you know, like this is my show just about me?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Now you know about you know more? Hey, what what
- 18:41Speaker 1: time can we connect so I can tell you my
- 18:43Speaker 1: life stories to we can make some money, because that's
- 18:45Speaker 1: what it's about. It's about making money, but making money
- 18:48Speaker 1: off your experience, making money off your value. And then
- 18:52Speaker 1: but it's also you know, stepping out of your comfort zone.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And I think that's one of the things that you
- 18:56Speaker 1: talk about a lot because I can't do what you do.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Like you to say, I can wake because but but
- 19:03Speaker 1: I gotta lean in your direction because you're the truth.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And if there's another thing to rishan when you think
- 19:08Speaker 1: about that is there will be some people I think,
- 19:11Speaker 1: oh she's too much and I am too much for you.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But there are some people that love me because I'm
- 19:16Speaker 1: I'm very animated. That's who I am, so some people
- 19:19Speaker 1: try to turn it down. I stopped letting people turn
- 19:21Speaker 1: down my life. This is who I am. I didn't
- 19:23Speaker 1: create this. God did. So what I'm saying when I
- 19:26Speaker 1: turned down my life is God made a mistake. Instead
- 19:29Speaker 1: of being all of who I am and knowing that
- 19:32Speaker 1: there's some people that I'm assigned and aligned with and
- 19:35Speaker 1: some I'm not, and that's okay. That's for all of us.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And the more you get clear on that, the better
- 19:41Speaker 1: your life, your business. Even I love how you talk
- 19:43Speaker 1: about relationships. Everything is in real life is how we
- 19:46Speaker 1: relate to one another. And so when you start to
- 19:48Speaker 1: be you fully and completely, that's when people can really
- 19:52Speaker 1: relate with you. And I think that's really the truth.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And I think that there's a comfort zone with you
- 19:57Speaker 1: in communicating because I interviewed people all the time. I
- 20:00Speaker 1: can't tell you how many people I probably could have said,
- 20:02Speaker 1: you know, Son or Dr co Robert shows, we need
- 20:06Speaker 1: to connect because I can't do something because my whole
- 20:10Speaker 1: career is tied to Rushan McDonald knows everything. Rashan McDonald.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I remember Steve Harvey's over said, Rashand do you really
- 20:16Speaker 1: think you know everything? I go, yeah, yeah, what you
- 20:20Speaker 1: want to do? Say no, that's that's that's the hope.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Part of my DNA, my part of my DNA, that
- 20:24Speaker 1: is to have answers. And that's what makes me successful
- 20:27Speaker 1: when people come to me with answers. And so when
- 20:30Speaker 1: you when so, if I tell people publicly that as
- 20:33Speaker 1: a leader, you know, they always tell you can't show
- 20:36Speaker 1: any signs of weakness, and so that sometimes as a
- 20:39Speaker 1: leader you tend to not go to somebody who may
- 20:41Speaker 1: be a subordinate, not saying you're a subordinate, but somebody
- 20:44Speaker 1: else who has a different skill set and admit you
- 20:47Speaker 1: can't do that, and they might use that against you.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm just telling you you've created a confidence zone with
- 20:52Speaker 1: me that I don't feel a negative spirit when I
- 20:55Speaker 1: tell you I need your help. Well, here's the other
- 20:58Speaker 1: thing too, Rashan. I don't think any of us are
- 21:00Speaker 1: born to fit in the box. Each of us were
- 21:02Speaker 1: born to disrupt whatever system are called to work in.
- 21:05Speaker 1: What do I mean by that? So? If I work
- 21:07Speaker 1: in corporate, corporate is already corporate. Corporate doesn't need more
- 21:09Speaker 1: of corporate. So if I go in there with all
- 21:11Speaker 1: my flowery you know, bolt colors, and I'm all animated,
- 21:15Speaker 1: they love it. But some people will try to fit
- 21:17Speaker 1: the box of corporate and go in there, and they
- 21:19Speaker 1: wonder why they're not coming back for more and more.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Corporate doesn't need more of corporate, and they're hiring you
- 21:24Speaker 1: because they need you to be different than that system.
- 21:27Speaker 1: And so I think so many of us try to
- 21:29Speaker 1: fit into a box, and God never intended for us
- 21:32Speaker 1: to fit any kind of box. Well, I know she's
- 21:36Speaker 1: not fitting in my box. I'm talking at very formative speaker.
- 21:41Speaker 1: She'll tell you how to bank roll your brilliance, doctor
- 21:44Speaker 1: Nicole Robert Jones. Now, what's what's in the future. We're
- 21:46Speaker 1: going into three. I already gave you. I always spoke
- 21:50Speaker 1: some some gifts into the into the world about working
- 21:52Speaker 1: for the government. Yeah, in the fourth court, I always
- 21:55Speaker 1: know in the fourth court, I planned for the first quarter,
- 21:57Speaker 1: for planning for the first quarter to the upcoming year.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And now you know you think the same way. Tell
- 22:03Speaker 1: you our audience, how you do that? So at the
- 22:06Speaker 1: actually October of every year, I sit down and plan
- 22:09Speaker 1: my entire next year. And the reason I do that
- 22:11Speaker 1: is because when things are planned and stuff happens, y'all,
- 22:14Speaker 1: plans don't always work out the way you plan them out.
- 22:17Speaker 1: But when you have a plan, you can move stuff
- 22:18Speaker 1: around easily instead of you could be proactive rather than reactive.
- 22:23Speaker 1: When COVID happened, already had things planned out. I moved
- 22:25Speaker 1: stuff around because COVID happened. So, yeah, I always sit
- 22:29Speaker 1: down some from quarter one. I'm working on my next book, so,
- 22:32Speaker 1: by the grace of God, I'll have a book deal
- 22:35Speaker 1: this time instead of self publishing. Hello, come on Lord. Right,
- 22:38Speaker 1: So that's one. And then I told you I'm going
- 22:39Speaker 1: into the government. Um sector is those are my two
- 22:42Speaker 1: big goals for top of Okay, you've got the third one,
- 22:47Speaker 1: Rushan McDonald. Okay, that's a giving what you can't You
- 22:53Speaker 1: can't let people forget your dreams, now, you know, just
- 22:55Speaker 1: to keep that she said, that's a given. Nothing. This
- 22:59Speaker 1: reminds me Roushan just not doing an interview personality here.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm telling you that I feel the spirit, I said,
- 23:07Speaker 1: and the spirit is that you have to you you know,
- 23:10Speaker 1: that you know, I'm only getting older. I feel good
- 23:13Speaker 1: about hard look at what I do. But somewhere along
- 23:17Speaker 1: the line, I have to listen to what people keep
- 23:19Speaker 1: telling me sometime on the daily basis, weekly basis, monthly basis,
- 23:23Speaker 1: we're sharing. Your gifts are undeniable. You think things that
- 23:26Speaker 1: are very unique and share able. Uh and and you
- 23:30Speaker 1: do the same thing, Dr Jones. And and it's time
- 23:34Speaker 1: for me to come to a person like you and
- 23:37Speaker 1: allow you to unleash some gifts that I have hidden.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And so I want to thank you for coming finally
- 23:43Speaker 1: coming on my show because we've like schedule. Let's me
- 23:45Speaker 1: this interview about four five times, right right the first time,
- 23:48Speaker 1: the studio did some braises. What's going on? Yes, yes,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm excited to be here. And let me let me
- 23:56Speaker 1: just say this. You know, even with us talking about you,
- 23:58Speaker 1: what you're looking to do is create your legacy. I
- 24:01Speaker 1: hate to say this, but long when you are no
- 24:02Speaker 1: longer here, your programs will always be here to bless people.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So what you're doing is created legacy and financial revenue
- 24:09Speaker 1: still coming to your loved ones when you're not here. Right, well,
- 24:12Speaker 1: my friend, you're always a blessing you're you're energy. I'm
- 24:16Speaker 1: tell you'll something. Do not waste your time listening to it,
- 24:19Speaker 1: this this podcast and listening to this interview. Go find
- 24:23Speaker 1: a video she is at. And I said that in
- 24:26Speaker 1: a very positive manner. She is a blessing. I always
- 24:29Speaker 1: enjoyed talking to because she her physicality, her animation is uplifting,
- 24:35Speaker 1: and her smile is infectious. Again, Dr Cole Robert Jones,
- 24:38Speaker 1: thank you for coming on Money Making Conversation master Class.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Thank you for having me, Thank you, thank you, appreciate you,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and we're talking soon. Okay, Yes,
