- 0:00Speaker 1: So if you want to know how bad it's gotten
- 0:02Speaker 1: with trying to beat you into submission on COVID nineteen
- 0:06Speaker 1: and vaccines and mandates, and judge now has ordered a
- 0:10Speaker 1: defendant to receive the vaccine. That's right. From the very
- 0:14Speaker 1: beginning of the coronaviter's crisis until now, there have been
- 0:17Speaker 1: a persistent hum of concern from liberty minded people like
- 0:21Speaker 1: myself who were fearful that this pandemic itself was actually
- 0:25Speaker 1: being used by the government to encroach on our freedoms
- 0:29Speaker 1: and see what they could get away with. And I
- 0:31Speaker 1: told you there was a certain point with the lockdowns
- 0:33Speaker 1: that it was not about our safety, It was not
- 0:35Speaker 1: about our freedoms. It was about what can we get
- 0:38Speaker 1: away with? Can we take away church? Can we take
- 0:42Speaker 1: away their ability to see Grandma? Can we take away
- 0:45Speaker 1: their ability to bury the dead? Can we take away
- 0:48Speaker 1: their holidays? Can we take away their kids schooling? Well?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Guess what all of what I just talked about, every
- 0:57Speaker 1: single bit of it, they were able to do. They
- 1:00Speaker 1: were able to take away all of our lives, including
- 1:02Speaker 1: shutting down our businesses, our churches, all of it, folks,
- 1:07Speaker 1: all of it. So why stop, right if you can
- 1:11Speaker 1: get away with this. Why would you stop? Let's take
- 1:13Speaker 1: it a step further, let's keep going. Why would you
- 1:18Speaker 1: not keep going? Well, now they're doing the exact same thing.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's very clear that they're advocating pushing and moving towards
- 1:25Speaker 1: extreme lockdowns. I am telling you right now, and get
- 1:29Speaker 1: ready for it. I've been calling this for months now,
- 1:33Speaker 1: and I think you understand why by Labor Day you're
- 1:36Speaker 1: going to see schools shutting down all over the country
- 1:39Speaker 1: because the teacher's union is already prepping for that. Former
- 1:42Speaker 1: CDC director even says he was quote sidelines and threatened
- 1:46Speaker 1: for taking lab week theory. Seriously, we're now finding out.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Remember you're not allowed to talk about that. No, sir,
- 1:53Speaker 1: the former CDC director, instead of covering for China, has
- 1:59Speaker 1: now come out and act actually said that he was sideline.
- 2:02Speaker 1: He was sidelined because he was looking at what the
- 2:05Speaker 1: data was, he was looking at the science, he was
- 2:08Speaker 1: looking at the facts about COVID nineteen in these lockdowns
- 2:12Speaker 1: and looking at the origins of COVID nineteen and realizing
- 2:15Speaker 1: this didn't come from a wet market, right, this didn't
- 2:18Speaker 1: come from this lab or excuse me, he has marked
- 2:23Speaker 1: that three two one three two one. This didn't come
- 2:28Speaker 1: from bats, it didn't come from dogs, and you could
- 2:31Speaker 1: see that it was very clear what was happening here.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So the former CDC director has actually come out now saying, hey,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I was shut out. I was sidelines because I didn't
- 2:42Speaker 1: push the lie, the narrative that everybody else was telling
- 2:46Speaker 1: me to say. Doctor Robert Redfield, former CDC director, said
- 2:51Speaker 1: this on TV earlier. I think what you've seen over
- 2:54Speaker 1: the last eighteen months is no new evidence to suggest
- 2:59Speaker 1: that this evolved from nature. Haven't seen any evidence of
- 3:04Speaker 1: it being associated with any of the animal species. They've
- 3:07Speaker 1: tested over eighty thousand animals. But we have seen growing
- 3:12Speaker 1: evidence to support that this in fact was a consequence
- 3:17Speaker 1: of a laboratory leak. So I continue to believe, of
- 3:20Speaker 1: the two hypotheses, that the laboratory leak is the most
- 3:24Speaker 1: likely origin of this virus. It's in a way tragic
- 3:28Speaker 1: because you would then say that this pandemic was caused
- 3:31Speaker 1: in a way by science, not necessarily by nature. And
- 3:35Speaker 1: I think I'm very disheartened when I've seen how the
- 3:38Speaker 1: scientific community failed to approach both hypotheses with an open mind.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I mean, I was very rapidly sidelined, threatened, and you know,
- 3:50Speaker 1: really put on sort of outed because somehow I believed
- 3:54Speaker 1: as a virologist that this virus may have come from
- 3:56Speaker 1: the laboratory. Did you hear that he was threatened? Let's
- 4:00Speaker 1: go back and really think about this. That the CDC
- 4:03Speaker 1: director saying he actually was looking at the science and
- 4:05Speaker 1: this is what they had to say, failed to approach
- 4:08Speaker 1: both hypotheses with an open mind. I mean I was
- 4:12Speaker 1: very rapidly sidelined, threatened, and you know, really put on
- 4:18Speaker 1: sort of outed because somehow I believed as a virologist
- 4:21Speaker 1: that this virus may have come from the laboratory, that
- 4:25Speaker 1: this may have come from a laboratory. Did you hear that?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Did you hear that he was sidelined and threatened for
- 4:34Speaker 1: taking the lab leak theory seriously, which now was clearly
- 4:37Speaker 1: basically become fat This is the CDC director. Even the
- 4:42Speaker 1: CDC director can't believe what the big government tells you
- 4:46Speaker 1: and the big tech tells you. Remember your kicked off Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- 4:51Speaker 1: If you said that this came the Wuhuan lab, even
- 4:55Speaker 1: if you had a massive following that you spent decades building,
- 4:59Speaker 1: they would shut you down, which brings us back to
- 5:02Speaker 1: Senor Rand Paul. Senator Rand Paul is now calling for
- 5:05Speaker 1: Americans to rise up and say no to the tyrants,
- 5:10Speaker 1: saying that they cannot arrest us all. Senator Ran Paul
- 5:14Speaker 1: is taking a stand again again so seeking to strip
- 5:17Speaker 1: you and I of our rights by using COVID nineteen
- 5:19Speaker 1: as an excuse to radically transform the nation to a
- 5:23Speaker 1: very dark and oppressive place that is more to their liking.
- 5:27Speaker 1: The Biden administration is veering into full blown authoritarianism after
- 5:31Speaker 1: the political humiliation of missing the goal of seventy percent
- 5:36Speaker 1: fully vaccinated by July fourth. Well, they want more control
- 5:40Speaker 1: over you and your body, and they want to make
- 5:42Speaker 1: it their mission to make decisions for your own personal
- 5:45Speaker 1: medical choices. They want the government calling the shots, and
- 5:50Speaker 1: they're moving towards doing exactly that. They don't care if
- 5:54Speaker 1: you face the prospect of being unemployed, because they'll just
- 5:57Speaker 1: give you money and you'll be addicted to them. Right,
- 6:00Speaker 1: So they're forcing your employers to force you to take
- 6:03Speaker 1: the jab. They want to force you into exclusion, into depression,
- 6:08Speaker 1: take you out of society, or even worse. So on
- 6:11Speaker 1: a video posted a Twitter, the Kentucky Republican issued a
- 6:15Speaker 1: rousing defensive freedom that as a poke in the eye
- 6:20Speaker 1: of these tyrants. He called them petty tyrants, singling out
- 6:25Speaker 1: Speaker Nancy Pelosian President Joe Biden as well as the
- 6:29Speaker 1: CDC for their anti science mass mandates and threats of lockdown.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Now this goes hand in hand with a former CDC
- 6:37Speaker 1: director who said he was sideline and threatened for even
- 6:40Speaker 1: taking the Wuhan Lableek theory seriously, that if you brought up,
- 6:44Speaker 1: even if he brought it up, you were shut out
- 6:46Speaker 1: of social media. Now, Senator Paul has taken a lot
- 6:51Speaker 1: of heat for what he had to say. I think
- 6:54Speaker 1: he should not be taking heat. I think he should
- 6:57Speaker 1: be cheered on for actually doing this. I think the
- 7:00Speaker 1: former CDC director, doctor Robert Redfield acknowledging the lack of
- 7:05Speaker 1: CDC data support universal school masking recommendations is another perfect
- 7:10Speaker 1: example of the problem that we have. And I want
- 7:15Speaker 1: to play for you real quick. The CDC director. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: former CDC director, Director Robert Redfield acknowledging we don't have
- 7:24Speaker 1: data to support universal school masking recommendations, no matter what
- 7:29Speaker 1: the Left is trying to tell you. And he didn't
- 7:30Speaker 1: say the left because he's talking about this from a
- 7:32Speaker 1: scientific standpoint. But he said it is imperative that we
- 7:35Speaker 1: have our students return to school. It does not mean
- 7:37Speaker 1: they need to wear a mask when returning to school.
- 7:40Speaker 1: It's really important you raise it. These policies should be
- 7:43Speaker 1: grounded in data as opposed to opinion. I think your
- 7:49Speaker 1: guests raise is a very important part. There's been very
- 7:52Speaker 1: few studies that really are compelling in that setting of
- 7:56Speaker 1: the classroom. We did a number of studies when I
- 7:59Speaker 1: was there, just in fixed settings to recognize that if
- 8:02Speaker 1: you aerosolize virus through a mask and then the recipient
- 8:06Speaker 1: had a mask, and these were all dummies in rooms
- 8:08Speaker 1: that were ventilated to a different degree, you could have
- 8:10Speaker 1: an impact on the amount of virus that went from
- 8:13Speaker 1: one to another. But that's not to say in a
- 8:16Speaker 1: real life scenario that that's efficacious in the classroom. One
- 8:19Speaker 1: of the things that I think is really important in
- 8:21Speaker 1: the classroom, for example, is how to identify the silent epidemic.
- 8:24Speaker 1: This is why we've recommended in a number of jurisdictions
- 8:27Speaker 1: they are doing this to do routine testing of all
- 8:29Speaker 1: the students twice a week so they can find out
- 8:31Speaker 1: who's asymptomatically infected and who is it and get them
- 8:34Speaker 1: out of the transmission cycle. So I think there is
- 8:37Speaker 1: a positive data. So you know, when you look at
- 8:41Speaker 1: what the CDC is recommended now, you know they're basically
- 8:44Speaker 1: saying everybody should be masked, right, And we talked about
- 8:47Speaker 1: the fact that there has been no study that would
- 8:49Speaker 1: that would back that up. So the question is, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: you say, you did some studies then, but you didn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: with dummies. Where have they been for the past you know,
- 8:56Speaker 1: ever since then? What's been going on for the past
- 8:59Speaker 1: nine ten months. Why don't we have data rather than,
- 9:02Speaker 1: as you say, just opinion that's leading this push with
- 9:05Speaker 1: our schools. I think it's a fair criticism, a fair criticism.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You know, you heard the I think in the Wall
- 9:13Speaker 1: Street Journal they talked about forty two billion dollars of
- 9:16Speaker 1: NIH finding in less than two percent was on COVID.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I mean, these are critical questions. Is routine screening twice
- 9:23Speaker 1: a week in a school? Is that the real way
- 9:25Speaker 1: to limit interschool transmission? Is it, you know, wearing masks
- 9:29Speaker 1: or not wearing masks? You know, I'm of the point
- 9:31Speaker 1: of view that this has to be locally decided as
- 9:34Speaker 1: opposed to a general mandate, particularly in the absence of data.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But you know, I've said before, I do believe that
- 9:41Speaker 1: masks are better than having received a vaccine that didn't
- 9:44Speaker 1: work in you. But that's not to say that I'm
- 9:47Speaker 1: convinced that we can make the statements that the best
- 9:50Speaker 1: way to protect kids in school is as some as
- 9:53Speaker 1: advocated universal masking. I think maybe better ventilation, maybe better desanitation,
- 9:58Speaker 1: maybe routine testing twice a week to identify silent epidemic.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Maybe reinforcing in parents that they don't send their kids
- 10:05Speaker 1: to school if they're sick, and they don't send them
- 10:06Speaker 1: to school if their siblings are sick. So do you
- 10:08Speaker 1: think the current CDC rule that all kids should wear
- 10:11Speaker 1: a Master's saying that the current CDC is wrong on
- 10:14Speaker 1: this issue. I'm saying that I haven't been able to
- 10:18Speaker 1: review data that supports that recommendation. Again, it goes back
- 10:23Speaker 1: to data, right, Well, this is of course one of
- 10:25Speaker 1: the guy's been silenced, right, I mean, this is exactly
- 10:29Speaker 1: why you shut somebody down and you silence them. He's
- 10:32Speaker 1: saying stuff you don't want to be said. He's saying
- 10:35Speaker 1: stuff that you don't believe should ever be said in public.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Apparently right, all this should be silenced. All of this
- 10:41Speaker 1: should be not talked about. All of this should be
- 10:45Speaker 1: shut down, None of this should have a place in
- 10:49Speaker 1: society to even discuss it, which goes back to Senator
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ryan Paul. Senator Paul put out a video. He is
- 10:59Speaker 1: being criticized, the media is crucifying him. Right now, I'm
- 11:04Speaker 1: going to play for you this video, and he says
- 11:06Speaker 1: it's time for us to rise up. Says time for
- 11:10Speaker 1: us as Americans to realize this is we are at
- 11:14Speaker 1: a quote moment of truth and a crossroads. Will we
- 11:17Speaker 1: allow these people to use fear and propaganda to do
- 11:20Speaker 1: further harm to our society, economy, and our children, or
- 11:22Speaker 1: we stand together and say absolutely not this time, I
- 11:25Speaker 1: choose freedom. I think Senator Paul has a one hell
- 11:30Speaker 1: of a point. It's time for us to resist. They
- 11:33Speaker 1: can't arrest all of us, They can't keep all of
- 11:36Speaker 1: your kids home from school. They can't keep every government
- 11:40Speaker 1: building closed, although I've got a long list of ones
- 11:43Speaker 1: they might keep closed or might ought to keep closed.
- 11:47Speaker 1: We don't have to accept the mandates, lockdowns and harmful
- 11:50Speaker 1: policies of the petty tyrants and bureaucrats. We can simply
- 11:54Speaker 1: say no, not again, Nancy Pelosi. You will not arrest
- 11:59Speaker 1: or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing
- 12:01Speaker 1: our jobs. We have either had COVID, had the vaccine,
- 12:05Speaker 1: or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own
- 12:08Speaker 1: health choices. We will not show you a passport, We
- 12:11Speaker 1: will not wear a mask. We will not be forced
- 12:14Speaker 1: into random screenings and testings so you can continue your
- 12:17Speaker 1: drunk with power reign over the Capitol. President Biden, we
- 12:22Speaker 1: will not accept your agencies mandates or your reported moves
- 12:26Speaker 1: towards a lockdown. No one should follow the CDC's anti
- 12:30Speaker 1: science mask mandates. And if you want to shut down
- 12:33Speaker 1: federal agencies again, some of which aren't even back to
- 12:36Speaker 1: work yet, I will stop every bill coming through the
- 12:40Speaker 1: Senate with an amendment to cut their funding if they
- 12:43Speaker 1: don't come back to work. In person, Local bureaucrats and
- 12:47Speaker 1: union bosses, we will not allow you to do more
- 12:50Speaker 1: harm to our children again. This year. Children are not
- 12:53Speaker 1: at any more risks from COVID than they are from
- 12:55Speaker 1: the seasonal flu. Every adult who works in schools has
- 12:59Speaker 1: either the vaccine or had their chance to get vaccinated.
- 13:03Speaker 1: There is no reason for mask mandates, part time schools,
- 13:07Speaker 1: or any lockdown measures. Children are falling behind in school
- 13:11Speaker 1: and are being harmed physically and psychologically by the tactics
- 13:15Speaker 1: that you have used to keep them from the classroom
- 13:17Speaker 1: during the last year. We won't allow it again. If
- 13:21Speaker 1: a school system attempts to keep children from full time,
- 13:24Speaker 1: in person school, I will hold up every bill with
- 13:27Speaker 1: two amendments, one to defund them and another to allow
- 13:31Speaker 1: parents the choice or where the money goes for their
- 13:34Speaker 1: child's education. Do I sound fed up to you? That's
- 13:37Speaker 1: because I am. I'm not a career politician. I practice
- 13:41Speaker 1: medicine for thirty three years. I graduated from Duke Medical School.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I've worked in emergency rooms, I've studied immunology and virology,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and I ultimately chose to become an eye surgeon. I've
- 13:53Speaker 1: been telling everyone for a year now that doctor Fauci
- 13:57Speaker 1: and other public health bureaucrats we're not following the science,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and I've been proven right time and time again. But
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm not the only one who's fed up. I can't
- 14:07Speaker 1: go anywhere these days without people coming up and thanking
- 14:10Speaker 1: me for standing up for them. Whether I'm at work
- 14:13Speaker 1: or at events in Kentucky, at airports and restaurants, or
- 14:16Speaker 1: in stores, people thank me for taking a stand. They
- 14:20Speaker 1: thank you for standing up for actual science, for standing
- 14:23Speaker 1: up for freedom, standing against mandates, lockdowns, and bureaucratic power grabs.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I think the tide is turning as more and more
- 14:32Speaker 1: people are willing to stand up. I see stories from
- 14:35Speaker 1: across the country of parents standing up to the unions
- 14:38Speaker 1: and school boards. I see brave moms standing up and
- 14:41Speaker 1: saying my kids need to go back to school. In person,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I see members of Congress refusing to comply with petty
- 14:49Speaker 1: tyrant Pelosi. We are at a moment of truth and
- 14:53Speaker 1: a crossroads. Will we allow these people to use fear
- 14:56Speaker 1: and propaganda to do further harm to our society, economy,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and children, or will we stand together and say absolutely
- 15:05Speaker 1: not not this time. I choose freedom. I choose freedom.
- 15:13Speaker 1: One hell of a way to put it quote, It's
- 15:16Speaker 1: time for us to resist. They can't arrest all of us.
- 15:19Speaker 1: They can't keep all of our kids home from school.
- 15:21Speaker 1: They can't keep every government building closed. We don't have
- 15:26Speaker 1: to accept the mandates. The lockdown is the harmful policies
- 15:29Speaker 1: of the petty, tyrants and bureaucrats. We can simply say no,
- 15:33Speaker 1: not again. Now, there are a lot of people out
- 15:38Speaker 1: there who are bitterly clinging to the government's going to
- 15:41Speaker 1: save your life, and the government is the one that
- 15:44Speaker 1: needs to do this. So give you an example. One
- 15:47Speaker 1: guy put on social media, Rand Paul looked at the
- 15:49Speaker 1: news of rising COVID infections, deaths and bad political policies
- 15:53Speaker 1: and Texas and Ford and said, Kentucky wants this Rampaul
- 15:57Speaker 1: is a failure as a senator, a doctor, and a
- 15:59Speaker 1: human being. Another said it's way past time for the
- 16:01Speaker 1: sent to censor this traitor, Senator Paul. Senator Paul hates
- 16:05Speaker 1: the CDC because he has so much trouble spelling it.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Another one said, I mean this is this is the people.
- 16:15Speaker 1: These are the people that want to keep us locked down.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Another one said, Rand Paul shares a lot of dumb
- 16:21Speaker 1: opinions for someone within neighbor beating distance, referring to his
- 16:26Speaker 1: neighbor trying to kill him. Another one said, every time
- 16:30Speaker 1: I'm forced to see or hear Senator Paul speak, I'm
- 16:33Speaker 1: reminded how grateful I am to his neighbor for trying
- 16:37Speaker 1: to kill him. Just remember that Senator Paul also tweeted out, Unfortunately,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'll have to limit my August activities part of my
- 16:46Speaker 1: long damage. By the twenty seventeen it salt had to
- 16:48Speaker 1: be removed by surgery this weekend. The doctors and nurse
- 16:51Speaker 1: and staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center were great. It
- 16:53Speaker 1: should be able to return to the Senate in September.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Put that out in August and fifth and people are
- 16:58Speaker 1: now celebrating that tweet talking about they wish you would
- 17:00Speaker 1: have died. When you have people that are this political
- 17:04Speaker 1: where they advocate for a senator being murdered, when they
- 17:08Speaker 1: advocate for a senator dying, why would you listen to
- 17:12Speaker 1: them in anything they have to say about mass mandates
- 17:15Speaker 1: when they claim it's actually for your safety. Think about that.
- 17:21Speaker 1: And if you think by the way that these people
- 17:23Speaker 1: are experts, they're wrong. Just look at the White House
- 17:25Speaker 1: Press Secretary Jen Saki on doctor Osterholme saying cloth masks
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't work. She's still arguing this. I mean, we're eighteen
- 17:33Speaker 1: months in this saying nineteen months in this thing. If
- 17:35Speaker 1: you think about where we really are right now and
- 17:38Speaker 1: they can't even get their act together on the debate
- 17:41Speaker 1: over cloth masks. Do they or don't they work? This
- 17:45Speaker 1: is how stupid The White House still is using a
- 17:48Speaker 1: few things there. But let me first say that Osterhome
- 17:51Speaker 1: is not an advisor to the President, to the administration,
- 17:54Speaker 1: to the White House. He doesn't work here. He's a
- 17:55Speaker 1: private citizen and a medical public health expert. But a
- 17:59Speaker 1: lot of celt experts are out there speaking, and good
- 18:02Speaker 1: for them. I will say that we are going to
- 18:04Speaker 1: continue to rely on the advice of medical experts in
- 18:08Speaker 1: the federal government on what kind of masks we all
- 18:11Speaker 1: should wear, what kind of masks kids should wear, and
- 18:14Speaker 1: if they change that advice, then the Department of Education
- 18:17Speaker 1: we'll be working with schools to make sure if that's
- 18:19Speaker 1: implemented as a mitigation measure. The issue we have taken
- 18:24Speaker 1: with the guidance of Governor de Santis, which he of
- 18:27Speaker 1: course is fundraising off of, I think we should note,
- 18:30Speaker 1: is that he is preventing schools and teachers and others
- 18:34Speaker 1: from protecting themselves and the students in their classroom. And
- 18:37Speaker 1: as a mother myself, that's concerning, and I'm sure it's
- 18:40Speaker 1: concerning to mothers in Florida. But by the way, just
- 18:43Speaker 1: so you know, there's no law or mandate that says
- 18:46Speaker 1: you can't wear a mask. If you want your kid
- 18:48Speaker 1: to wear a mask at school. As a parent, you
- 18:49Speaker 1: have the right to tell your kid to put on
- 18:51Speaker 1: a mask. You have a right to have your kids
- 18:52Speaker 1: sleep in a mask. You have a right to put
- 18:54Speaker 1: your mask on your kid all day long twenty four
- 18:56Speaker 1: to seven, or wear two masks at school. The only thing,
- 18:59Speaker 1: Governor Santans says, I'm not going to mandate it. I
- 19:03Speaker 1: think we're gonna have to continue, to go ahead. I
- 19:05Speaker 1: think we've got to continue. Go ahead. You had a
- 19:07Speaker 1: very long question. We've got to continue. Go ahead. I'm sorry.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Emerald. I love that right. We got to
- 19:13Speaker 1: move on quickly, got to move on quickly. So well,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'll say what I want to say and then I'll
- 19:18Speaker 1: attack it. Doctor Fauci, by the way, has come out
- 19:21Speaker 1: telling you this about your freedom's quote. Hopefully mass mandates
- 19:24Speaker 1: and schools will be quote temporary work for them. I
- 19:28Speaker 1: thought that Redfield, an inter said, it was very interesting.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I thought the Fauci interview with Hugh Hewett was interesting.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Here's what he said, guys, call for one on Monday.
- 19:38Speaker 1: It's not comfortable obviously for children to wear masks, particularly
- 19:44Speaker 1: the younger children. But hopefully this will be a temporary thing,
- 19:48Speaker 1: temporary enough that it temporary enough that doesn't have any
- 19:53Speaker 1: lasting effects. Wow. Yeah, we hope it's temporary, right, I mean,
- 19:57Speaker 1: maybe this will be temporary. Could be it could be temporary.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Maybe maybe not, could be possibly, we don't know. We'll see.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Hopefully it's temporary. And then aage director also says he's
- 20:14Speaker 1: getting quote, nasty emails from vaccinated people. We didn't flip
- 20:17Speaker 1: flop on a mask either, just so you know, Yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm getting nasty emails. So are they making decisions based
- 20:23Speaker 1: on your emails? And if they're angry about those emails,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm just curious. Run to santists. By the way, amazing
- 20:30Speaker 1: governor in Florida. He didn't say you couldn't put a
- 20:34Speaker 1: mask on a kid. He said, I'm going to leave
- 20:36Speaker 1: it to parents if they want their children to wear
- 20:39Speaker 1: a mask. If you want your kid to wear a mask,
- 20:40Speaker 1: and your kid can wear a mask. Well, they did
- 20:43Speaker 1: this last summer, Laura, when we went to in person schooling,
- 20:46Speaker 1: we said we're gonna have kids in school, and we
- 20:49Speaker 1: understood it was a lowish environment. Oh man, they were
- 20:52Speaker 1: saying all kinds of stuff, and we had a very
- 20:54Speaker 1: successful school year. We're gonna do it again this year
- 20:57Speaker 1: in Florida. Though. We think it's really important that parents
- 21:00Speaker 1: make decisions about whether kids go to school with mass
- 21:03Speaker 1: or not. So if certain parents feel that they want
- 21:06Speaker 1: their kids doing that, we're not going to prevent that.
- 21:08Speaker 1: We have a lot of parents, including me, who doesn't
- 21:11Speaker 1: think that's healthy for our kids to be wearing masks
- 21:13Speaker 1: all day. And I know people like Joe Biden think
- 21:16Speaker 1: the government should force kinder gardeners to sit there under
- 21:19Speaker 1: these mass for six, seven eight hours a day. I
- 21:22Speaker 1: could just tell you, Laura, in Florida last year, in
- 21:24Speaker 1: our school districts, we had something that had mass requirements,
- 21:28Speaker 1: others that didn't. The ones that didn't, those counties had
- 21:31Speaker 1: lower per capita cases than the ones that did. And
- 21:34Speaker 1: so it's not proven to really impact viral transmission in schools.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And so that's why I think a parents' decision and
- 21:42Speaker 1: it shouldn't be mandated by the government. Governor, we have
- 21:46Speaker 1: learned that the administration is considering I'm going to ask
- 21:50Speaker 1: all my guests this tonight a vaccine mandate for foreign
- 21:54Speaker 1: visitors coming into the United States. Apparently they're working on that.
- 21:58Speaker 1: It'll be announced soon. Your reaction, Yeah, I think that'd
- 22:01Speaker 1: be a big mistake. I think that would chill commerce.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I think that would hurt tourism. At the end of
- 22:06Speaker 1: the day. In Florida, for example, we have ninety one
- 22:09Speaker 1: percent of our seniors have gotten shots. I do believe
- 22:12Speaker 1: in those hospital CEOs said that that has reduced mortality,
- 22:15Speaker 1: particularly among our elderly. But ultimately the vaccines protecting you.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I think it's pretty clear people are getting infected even
- 22:23Speaker 1: if they're vaccinated. So it's effect on transmission hasn't been
- 22:27Speaker 1: what we anticipated. And so that's just the fact. And
- 22:30Speaker 1: so I think that those types of requirements I think
- 22:33Speaker 1: would do more harm than good, would do more harm
- 22:36Speaker 1: than good. Nice to see an elected official actually say
- 22:39Speaker 1: it's up to you, that we should trust you, that
- 22:41Speaker 1: we should allow you to decide what's best for your kid.
- 22:44Speaker 1: He's not saying you can't have your kid wear a mask,
- 22:46Speaker 1: but I'm witting parents decide if your kid's going to
- 22:48Speaker 1: wear a mask or not. That's what freedom actually is,
- 22:51Speaker 1: not dictators and tyrants like we're seeing from this White House.
