- 0:31Speaker 4: fired the FBI agents involved in tracking GOP senator phone calls.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Plus accountability as the New York Attorney General. Letician James
- 0:41Speaker 4: who is targeting Donald Trump saying vote for me and
- 0:45Speaker 4: raising money off of going after Donald Trump, has now
- 0:49Speaker 4: been indicted on bank fraud charges in Virginia. The details
- 0:53Speaker 4: are shocking, and we'll have that for you as well

- 1:11Speaker 4: is it the wrong time to invest in gold or
- 1:13Speaker 4: is it going to keep going up and off? Well,

- 3:03Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Story number one, this first story.
- 3:08Speaker 4: We're going to be talking about, is one that I
- 3:10Speaker 4: hope you will take and you'll share it on social
- 3:13Speaker 4: media wherever you can, because it is a story that's
- 3:17Speaker 4: important and then the media is deliberately looking the other
- 3:20Speaker 4: way to not cover it. Is an important story because
- 3:24Speaker 4: it's about the abuse of power and holding those that
- 3:27Speaker 4: abuse their power to accountability. The FBI Director Cashpittel has
- 3:33Speaker 4: fired agents involved in tracking the phone calls of eight
- 3:38Speaker 4: Republican centers and a congressman as part of the former
- 3:43Speaker 4: Special counsel Jack Smiths investigation a sham investigation and to
- 3:49Speaker 4: President Donald J. Trump communication records belonging to GOP. Senators
- 3:54Speaker 4: Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn, Ron Johnson, Josh Hawley, Cynthia Loomis,
- 4:01Speaker 4: Bill Haggerty, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, and represented Mike Kelly.
- 4:07Speaker 4: We know now for a fact, we're handed over to
- 4:11Speaker 4: Smith's Arctic Frost team after they subpoened major phone companies
- 4:17Speaker 4: in twenty twenty three. The fact was unknown to the
- 4:22Speaker 4: public until this week when Cashperttel, the FBI director, saying
- 4:27Speaker 4: he discovered the files hidden in a lock box that
- 4:31Speaker 4: was placed in a vault in a cyber place where
- 4:35Speaker 4: no one can see or search these files.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The FBI director saying, this.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It in a lock box, put that lock box in
- 4:44Speaker 2: a vault, and then put that vault in a cyber
- 4:47Speaker 2: place where no one can see or search these files.
- 4:50Speaker 2: They're called a restricted access and prohibited access. Restricted access
- 4:55Speaker 2: means some people get to seed. Prohibited access you put
- 4:58Speaker 2: it in there when you want to hide it from
- 4:59Speaker 2: the world, and that takes the authorization of the Attorney
- 5:02Speaker 2: General and the director of the FBI. So not only
- 5:04Speaker 2: did they weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got
- 5:07Speaker 2: in there, and when I got in as the FBI director,
- 5:09Speaker 2: from my experience as Russia Gate, I knew where to
- 5:11Speaker 2: look and what rooms to open and what doors to
- 5:13Speaker 2: kick down. And that's what we did. We found this
- 5:15Speaker 2: information to expose to politicization by Jacksmith and the prior
- 5:19Speaker 2: Department of Justice. I mean, just think about it. Eight
- 5:22Speaker 2: city United States senators phone records were gathered in subpoena
- 5:27Speaker 2: through the grand jury process, and it was buried and wormholed.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It was the hope that no one would find it.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So we're just scratching the surface here, but accountability is coming.
- 5:35Speaker 2: We are finding every single person involved. We will not
- 5:38Speaker 2: leave a single room locked. We will go in through
- 5:42Speaker 2: all the prohibited access requirements and we will find the
- 5:45Speaker 2: material and show the American public like we have done
- 5:47Speaker 2: in this FBI more transformative and transparent than any in
- 5:50Speaker 2: the US history, to bring accountability of the American people.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And we were working with our partners in Congress, who
- 5:55Speaker 2: should be furious at the prior administration's leadership and weaponization
- 5:59Speaker 2: in singular politicization of law enforcement. The American public sees
- 6:03Speaker 2: what we're doing Sean with the statue just right off
- 6:05Speaker 2: in the beginning. They see what we're doing here to
- 6:08Speaker 2: unseal the vault and show the world how the deep
- 6:11Speaker 2: state actually operated.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Casp Hotel, making it clear this is the beginning, not
- 6:16Speaker 4: the end. And if you go back and you actually
- 6:18Speaker 4: look at what he said quote you put it in
- 6:21Speaker 4: there and when you want to hide it from the world,
- 6:24Speaker 4: and that takes the authorization of the Attorney General and
- 6:29Speaker 4: the director of the FBI. So not only did they
- 6:32Speaker 4: weaponize this law enforcement, but when we got in there,
- 6:36Speaker 4: and when I got to in as the FBI director,
- 6:40Speaker 4: from my experience as Russia Gate, I knew where to
- 6:43Speaker 4: look and what rooms to open and what doors to
- 6:46Speaker 4: knock down.
- 6:47Speaker 1: And that is what we did.
- 6:49Speaker 4: So if you want to know why the President of
- 6:51Speaker 4: the United States of America decided to pick Caspertel to
- 6:54Speaker 4: do this job.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It is exactly for this reason.
- 6:58Speaker 4: And it goes back to what else he had to say, saying, quote,
- 7:01Speaker 4: we found this information to expose the politicalization by Jack
- 7:07Speaker 4: Smith members, this guy in charge of Special Council weaponizing
- 7:10Speaker 4: our government to go after Donald Trump and the prior
- 7:13Speaker 4: Department of Justice.
- 7:14Speaker 1: He added before.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Revealing that he fired the agents who facilitated the secret
- 7:21Speaker 4: investigations into sitting US lawmakers. Now Holly by the Way Center. Holly,
- 7:28Speaker 4: one of the senators who had his phone calls tracked
- 7:31Speaker 4: by the Biden administration's DOJ, called Smith's subpoena an abuse
- 7:36Speaker 4: of power beyond Watergate, beyond Jaeger Hoover, one that directly
- 7:41Speaker 4: strikes at the Constitution, the separations of power and the
- 7:45Speaker 4: First Amendment. Holly also said it's time for there to
- 7:49Speaker 4: be a special counsel, saying, quote, we need a full
- 7:52Speaker 4: investigation of all involved, who knew about it, who ordered it,
- 7:57Speaker 4: and who approved it. Anyone everyone who violated the law
- 8:02Speaker 4: must be prosecuted. The way to save the country is
- 8:06Speaker 4: to restore the rule of law, the senator said. Now,
- 8:10Speaker 4: the US Office a Special Counsel, the OSC, in August
- 8:14Speaker 4: opened an investigation into Jack Smith, who may have unlawfully
- 8:18Speaker 4: targeted President Trump, and that may be where this investigation
- 8:23Speaker 4: is going next.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Now story number two New York Attorney General Letitia James
- 8:28Speaker 5: story the media is having to cover right now because,
- 8:32Speaker 5: let's be honest, she built much of her political career
- 8:36Speaker 5: on one thing, trying to put Donald Trump behind bars
- 8:40Speaker 5: attacking Donald Trump.
- 8:41Speaker 4: She even raised money off of attacking Donald Trump in
- 8:45Speaker 4: said if she was elected, she would.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Go after Donald Trump. Well.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Now she has been indicted on a bank fraud charge
- 8:54Speaker 4: by a federal grand jury in Virginia. The grand Jury
- 8:58Speaker 4: in the Eastern District of Virginia Rey turned the indictment
- 9:01Speaker 4: on Thursday. Earlier this year, the Justice Department confirmed an
- 9:04Speaker 4: investigation into Latsia James over what was described as alleged
- 9:10Speaker 4: mortgage fraud. The probe centers on claims that she misrepresented
- 9:14Speaker 4: property records and loan application to secure more favorable financing.
- 9:20Speaker 4: By the way, that is against the law. According to
- 9:23Speaker 4: no letter from the Federal Housing Finance Director, James allegedly
- 9:28Speaker 4: made false statements on multiple documents, meaning that you can
- 9:33Speaker 4: see clearly if she was lawing. That includes listing a
- 9:38Speaker 4: Virginia property as her primary residence when it was in
- 9:42Speaker 4: fact not, filing Brooklyn records showing her multifamily building had
- 9:48Speaker 4: five units instead of four. That would be what would
- 9:52Speaker 4: be categorized as fraud. Submitting a mortgage application claiming she
- 9:59Speaker 4: was her father spouse pretty easy to you know, prove
- 10:03Speaker 4: that that wasn't actually true. Now, James has been under
- 10:07Speaker 4: scrutiny for at least one suspected instance of misrepresenting an
- 10:11Speaker 4: investment property as her primary or secondary residence, a move
- 10:16Speaker 4: that could save thousands in interest rates as well. The
- 10:20Speaker 4: case is being held by the US Attorney Lindsay Halligan,
- 10:24Speaker 4: a Trump appointee. Halligan, by the way, is new and
- 10:28Speaker 4: replaced Eric Siebert, who was ousted after reportedly showing reluctance
- 10:33Speaker 4: to pursue cases one against James and the former FBI
- 10:37Speaker 4: Director James Comey. Both obviously are individuals that people believe
- 10:42Speaker 4: have abused their power, and there are people that say,
- 10:46Speaker 4: I'm one of them, that it's time to hold those
- 10:48Speaker 4: accountable who have lied and weaponized our government. Now, James
- 10:53Speaker 4: has responded, and here is part of what she had
- 10:55Speaker 4: to say about the indictment.
- 10:57Speaker 6: This is nothing more than a continuation of the President's
- 11:01Speaker 6: desperate weaponization of our justice system.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He's forcing federal law.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Enforcement agencies to do his bidding, all because I did
- 11:09Speaker 6: my job as the New York State Attorney general. He's
- 11:12Speaker 6: charges are baseless, and the president's own public statements make
- 11:15Speaker 6: clear that his only goal is political retribution at any cost.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Let's be clear.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Ptitia James is the one who has literally said before
- 11:23Speaker 4: that if you would just vote for and get her
- 11:25Speaker 4: in office, she's going to take down Donald Trump. So
- 11:29Speaker 4: much for acting like you're not going after your political enemies.
- 11:33Speaker 4: We also are getting to witness what the media is
- 11:36Speaker 4: doing with this, and they're covering it as big breaking news,
- 11:40Speaker 4: but they're also trying to see can they spin it
- 11:43Speaker 4: to hurt Donald Trump, claiming he's just going after his
- 11:46Speaker 4: political enemies and acting as if somehow mortgage fraud is
- 11:50Speaker 4: not a big deal. Here's how they broke the news
- 11:53Speaker 4: on CNN, CNN Drinking News.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Welcome to the lead on Jake Tapper, and we start
- 11:59Speaker 7: with breaking news in our law Injustice Lee just moments
- 12:03Speaker 7: ago to two sources telling CNN that the Justice Department
- 12:06Speaker 7: indicted yet another one of President Trump's perceived political opponents.
- 12:11Speaker 7: This time it was New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James.
- 12:15Speaker 7: She was charged in a federal court in a grand
- 12:17Speaker 7: jury in Alexandria, Virginia. Today, you will remember James brought
- 12:21Speaker 7: civil fraud charges alleging financial fraud against Trump and his
- 12:25Speaker 7: adult sons in his real estate business in New York.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Back in twenty twenty two, a judge found them libel
- 12:30Speaker 7: and ordered a three hundred and fifty five million dollar fine,
- 12:33Speaker 7: which Trump appealed. And this obviously comes in the context
- 12:38Speaker 7: of President Trump demanding that the Eastern District of Virginia
- 12:41Speaker 7: the US Attorney there, carry out orders to go after
- 12:45Speaker 7: his political opponents. James Comey, who has been indicted Letitia James,
- 12:49Speaker 7: who as of today has been indicted. Democratic Senator Adam
- 12:52Speaker 7: Schiff is the third that he mentioned in that public
- 12:56Speaker 7: truth social post at the Wall Street General reports was
- 12:58Speaker 7: accidentally publicly was meant to be a private message to
- 13:03Speaker 7: his Attorney General, Pam Bondi with me here in New
- 13:06Speaker 7: York scene.
- 13:06Speaker 1: By the way, let's just stop there.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Isn't amazing that they actually overlook the crimes that these
- 13:11Speaker 4: people are accused of committing. And isn't amazing that the
- 13:14Speaker 4: same people that were screaming when Donald Trump was indicted
- 13:17Speaker 4: on ridiculous and bogus charges, saying well, he's been charged,
- 13:21Speaker 4: he's going to be a raided, he's gonna have a
- 13:23Speaker 4: mug shot, he's going to be in court, are now
- 13:25Speaker 4: acting as if this is all news that you should
- 13:28Speaker 4: just look the other way. On there is one, by
- 13:30Speaker 4: the way, one of those that was a part of
- 13:32Speaker 4: the hoax January sixth Committee, a guy by the name
- 13:35Speaker 4: of Adam Kinzinger who is at least somewhat honest on
- 13:39Speaker 4: CNN about this fraud mortgage fraud charge against Latista James.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And I want you to hear what he.
- 13:45Speaker 7: Said that people's trusted our system, Congressman, I mean, live
- 13:49Speaker 7: by the sword, die by the sword.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Is that the way the system should be?
- 13:53Speaker 8: Yeah? No, I mean, look, I think two days can
- 13:55Speaker 8: be true here. I think the first thing is, Leticia
- 13:58Speaker 8: James never should have made those comments. She never should
- 14:01Speaker 8: have run on I'm going to go after him before
- 14:04Speaker 8: she's seen the evidence, before she's had anything that was wrong,
- 14:09Speaker 8: not illegal, that was wrong. And then at the same time,
- 14:12Speaker 8: there is no doubt, and I mean we can argue
- 14:14Speaker 8: about it, but there's no doubt that this thing went.
- 14:18Speaker 8: They went after her specifically for retribution, specifically because it
- 14:23Speaker 8: was her. I mean, all you have to do is
- 14:25Speaker 8: read the President's accidental fake tweet or whatever thing that's
- 14:29Speaker 8: called posts and know that he was basically saying, Pam,
- 14:33Speaker 8: here are two people we have to go after. And
- 14:36Speaker 8: then all of a sudden, boy, just miraculously, a new
- 14:38Speaker 8: person comes in after the other person said that they
- 14:41Speaker 8: didn't have enough to make a case and get indicted.
- 14:44Speaker 8: This thing, probably, like like Coomey's, is either going to
- 14:47Speaker 8: be thrown out. I'm not a lawyer, so who knows
- 14:49Speaker 8: either be thrown out before trial or certainly will be
- 14:52Speaker 8: will be seen as what it is, which is revenge.
- 14:55Speaker 8: But I think we can hold Anderson. Both things are true.
- 14:58Speaker 8: Letitia James never should I have said that in the campaign.
- 15:02Speaker 8: And also they are going after her for one reason
- 15:05Speaker 8: because it's.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Her, So there you have it.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Well, Jesse James as well, you know, probably did something wrong,
- 15:11Speaker 4: and you know, maybe she didn't commit mortgage fraud, but hey,
- 15:14Speaker 4: they shouldn't go after because she went after them first
- 15:18Speaker 4: in a political way. That is some weird leftist logic.
- 15:22Speaker 4: But the one thing that we can be sure about
- 15:24Speaker 4: is this. Donald Trump ran on and said he was
- 15:28Speaker 4: going to hold those accountable who abuse their positions of
- 15:32Speaker 4: power to go after their political enemies. And what we're
- 15:36Speaker 4: witnessing right now is the deep state crumbling, and those
- 15:41Speaker 4: that went after the president only for political reasons are
- 15:45Speaker 4: now being held accountable for their own actions.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That apparently now include mortgage fraud.
