- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like American buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve Hardy listening to move together for Steve. Please, Moby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me, join you're doing me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use turning. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:42Speaker 1: you haven't got to turn them out. Then turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water go. Come Come on your baby dad.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh. I show will good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and all.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well all right,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I've learned something and in sharing time, and I am
- 2:23Speaker 1: ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all that he
- 2:27Speaker 1: allows me to learn in my life. One of the
- 2:33Speaker 1: best lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you some
- 2:40Speaker 1: great lessons. Challenges brings about some of my best results.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say is in every
- 2:51Speaker 1: challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned something so so valuable.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So here's what I've You know, I've known this, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've just learned it. At a different angle, appreciation and
- 3:09Speaker 1: gratitude is the key to having more. Now. I don't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know how that sound to you, but I can't tell
- 3:21Speaker 1: you how true it is. God being fair and just
- 3:26Speaker 1: as he really is. He really is. He's a fair
- 3:29Speaker 1: and a just God. What's most beneficial to us is
- 3:32Speaker 1: he happens to be full of mercy and grace. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his
- 3:46Speaker 1: grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:58Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:14Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:25Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:29Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:32Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: in your life. If you're still here, you've made it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You don't forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it, forget what it sent you through, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: it hide made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing suicide,
- 5:06Speaker 1: is they leave the God out of their life and
- 5:10Speaker 1: they start allowing that other voice to control. And if
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's really true that God never puts more on you
- 5:16Speaker 1: than you can bear, as long as you stay connected
- 5:19Speaker 1: to God, you can get through anything. But you lose
- 5:23Speaker 1: that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that relationship
- 5:30Speaker 1: with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with Now it ain't
- 5:39Speaker 1: but two forces at work at all time. It's good
- 5:43Speaker 1: and evil. It's positive and negative. It's God, it's Satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 6:00Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:04Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts the more on
- 6:22Speaker 1: you than you can bear. Okay, now that we got
- 6:24Speaker 1: that clear, that's a fact. Okay, Now with that fact
- 6:27Speaker 1: in mind, let's go over this right here. Why would God,
- 6:31Speaker 1: being as just and merciful as he is, put more
- 6:35Speaker 1: on you than you can bear? Example, if God has
- 6:40Speaker 1: given you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:49Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:01Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:03Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:06Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:09Speaker 1: wondering at all, like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:12Speaker 1: and going mad. I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:15Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:18Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:26Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:37Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:41Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:45Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:52Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum. I mean, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:59Speaker 1: I can keep understanding this thing right here. So let
- 8:02Speaker 1: me give you an example. In my life, I had
- 8:05Speaker 1: gotten so busy at one point that I had begun
- 8:11Speaker 1: to complain about how busy I was. This is true
- 8:16Speaker 1: because I am busy, but it ain't the busy part
- 8:21Speaker 1: because I asked to be busy, you know, I asked
- 8:23Speaker 1: God to give me opportunities and to make a way
- 8:27Speaker 1: for me. Well in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:34Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes along
- 9:02Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:09Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:12Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:16Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was instead
- 9:18Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what,
- 9:21Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:24Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:27Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again, your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:35Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:46Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pour out to these blessings
- 9:48Speaker 1: that you won't have room enough to receive. You gotta
- 9:51Speaker 1: act like you're glad for what you got in order
- 9:53Speaker 1: to get more. You feel me, let's go ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:04Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. Please this hill. It's Steve Harvey
- 10:10Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now. Today today's show is dedicated to me.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm dedicating this one to me because I have decided
- 10:21Speaker 1: today from the beautiful country of Botswanna that I I
- 10:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. What's gonna be pretty pretty ignorant today. And
- 10:33Speaker 1: that's the decision I've made. Please join in with me,
- 10:38Speaker 1: hold your breath, hold yourself, or just hold on, Ladies
- 10:44Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Chirley Strawberry, Oh, one of my favorite days.

- 11:14Speaker 1: backing you up right here? Yes, right, nephew, Tommy and
- 11:22Speaker 1: you yeah, no, Uh, that's all. It's all right, it's

- 11:32Speaker 1: in America, in the Trump Trump do something, man, I'm
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm I'll tell you right now him. You're what I said.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm tired of explaining him. Oh over there, the president.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm tired. How could you let such a thing happen?
- 11:57Speaker 1: Why did you all do this? Yeah, you feel the same.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Why does he say the things about us? He says, Hey, man,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I can't answer that question. Man, Yeah, yeah, I can
- 12:10Speaker 1: only imagine what the world thinks when they look at us.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Right now, one dude, last me as your president ever
- 12:17Speaker 1: been here? I said, look, man quick calling him my president. Okay,
- 12:20Speaker 1: let's just start right yeah, even take all the president. Yeah. Well,
- 12:28Speaker 1: the good news is next year we have a chance
- 12:30Speaker 1: to change that if we get to the polls like
- 12:34Speaker 1: we did this past Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Democrats made
- 12:39Speaker 1: a show democratic governor in Kentucky and yeah that's good news.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That got out and voted where Trump visited and try
- 12:47Speaker 1: to make a difference of the last minute. And it
- 12:49Speaker 1: didn't work. So you know, I mean, voting matters. It
- 12:52Speaker 1: just does. It just does, Oh, it absolutely does, it
- 12:56Speaker 1: absolutely does. Schulle. Your energy is a little low you okay, Yeah,

- 21:17Speaker 1: baby pet before it comes out, they drained the baby
- 21:22Speaker 1: and it's inside the baby. So before the before the
- 21:25Speaker 1: peak comes out, if they squeeze the baby and it
- 21:28Speaker 1: comes out the button, and that's oil and that's baby oil.
- 21:33Speaker 1: That's where it comes from. This baby all comes from
- 21:37Speaker 1: baby and it's not pet. It's actually an oiling. They
- 21:40Speaker 1: just squeeze the baby, not real hard and just to
- 21:43Speaker 1: the baby gold and then just a little kind of
- 21:47Speaker 1: like a squeeze dot. It's it's a little thick, slippery

- 23:26Speaker 1: at the church. Such the older maidens passed away. And
- 23:29Speaker 1: what's going on? Is you all's wedding is tomorrow at
- 23:33Speaker 1: twelve o'clock, right, but the actual funeral is at three
- 23:38Speaker 1: o'clock here at the church. Okay, Uh, what machine began?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Brother Josh Josh, Okay, look here, brother Josh. Um hey man,
- 23:48Speaker 1: we we we already got this thing in motion. Man,
- 23:50Speaker 1: we didn't say now they have be two hundred differentations. Man,
- 23:54Speaker 1: I mean blessed man and and and I understand that,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but but but I mean, you know, sheet, there's no
- 24:01Speaker 1: way we could have moved it around. Now. The biggest
- 24:03Speaker 1: problem the funeral home is bringing the casket first thing
- 24:06Speaker 1: in the morning. So what I want, what I wanted
- 24:08Speaker 1: to make you aware of, and I didn't want you
- 24:10Speaker 1: to tell your wife this, But the actual casket would
- 24:13Speaker 1: be in the saint ure, but we will have it.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Hold hold on, man, are you serious? I look at
- 24:19Speaker 1: the y'all need to move this round. I don't know
- 24:21Speaker 1: what y'all gonna do. Y'all have a fellowship hall in
- 24:24Speaker 1: the back or something like that. Ryan. The only place
- 24:28Speaker 1: we can actually put the casket, and if we didn't
- 24:30Speaker 1: put it there is in the actual room that you'll
- 24:32Speaker 1: you'll soon to be wife would be changing in. That's
- 24:34Speaker 1: the only place wife could have changed the room when
- 24:38Speaker 1: their dead body. But you can't even it. And you
- 24:41Speaker 1: know what, I understood that that's the first thing I
- 24:43Speaker 1: thought of, and I thought, I said, and that's still
- 24:45Speaker 1: put the casket a way. It goes for the fun
- 24:47Speaker 1: of them, and we're gonna cover it up and see basically,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you actually get in wild. But I can't even believe
- 24:54Speaker 1: you calling me, would man? Look at and excuse my
- 24:57Speaker 1: French man. Yeah, I knew I need to get back
- 24:59Speaker 1: in the church, really do. But right now, Doug, this
- 25:02Speaker 1: ain't going down like this. Man. Now, we didn't already
- 25:04Speaker 1: pay the money. And first, first of all, first of all,
- 25:07Speaker 1: you know she should I don't even feel like she
- 25:09Speaker 1: many had to pay, you know, to hold no wedding
- 25:12Speaker 1: over at hut Hurt where she paid. Tis that that's
- 25:15Speaker 1: that's the first thing, you know. I ain't like that
- 25:17Speaker 1: from the jump, But I wouldn't hear when women because
- 25:19Speaker 1: she want her pasta to marry us. And now you
- 25:22Speaker 1: got the nerve to tell me that y'all will arrange something.
- 25:24Speaker 1: That funeral gonna happen the same day as my wedding,
- 25:27Speaker 1: and my wife's got to get dressed in the room
- 25:29Speaker 1: with a dead body. Well, we're not gonna put her
- 25:31Speaker 1: in that room. Like I say, I'm putting that body
- 25:34Speaker 1: first thing in the morning. I'm gonna put that body
- 25:36Speaker 1: in the right there in front of the fullfit, and
- 25:39Speaker 1: we're gonna cover it. Now, what you're getting out of
- 25:42Speaker 1: is you get more flowers, because there's gonna be flowers
- 25:45Speaker 1: from the funeral. So I'm thinking that's probably gonna be
- 25:47Speaker 1: a little bit of a person point. I just wanted
- 25:50Speaker 1: you to be aware. It's probably gonna be more people
- 25:52Speaker 1: than you think, because some of the people that's gonna
- 25:54Speaker 1: be as your wedding, it's really for the funeral. A
- 25:57Speaker 1: whole hold of man are you serious? Right? What I mean?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Look at doctor, I didn't paid for the wedding happened
- 26:04Speaker 1: at this church, man, Okay, ain't in no disrespect to
- 26:07Speaker 1: the lady that has passed, called blessed the family. I
- 26:09Speaker 1: ain't planning to not putting no dead body having a
- 26:13Speaker 1: funeral at my wedding. Man, that's crazy. M down on
- 26:17Speaker 1: their church too, sir. She's a member of the church too. Hey,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I don't give it. I don't being no member of
- 26:22Speaker 1: the church. Man. I haven't paid for this wid and
- 26:25Speaker 1: it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you got six and of
- 26:27Speaker 1: putting the dead body at my wedding, right, I mean,
- 26:35Speaker 1: no disrespect, But the woman has passed. She is not
- 26:39Speaker 1: gonna get up. I mean, what does the pout? The
- 26:41Speaker 1: problem is your called me with this man the day
- 26:44Speaker 1: before my wed and we didn't schedule there six months ago.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I got the film twenty five thirty thousand dollars on
- 26:49Speaker 1: this wid okay, and I you're gonna tell me that
- 26:51Speaker 1: we got to share our win with a funeral, but
- 26:54Speaker 1: the Hillers won't with you. Man, do you want to
- 26:57Speaker 1: have your wedding at this church? I'll paid for them,
- 27:00Speaker 1: which we want. I'm having the wind Okay, I'll tell
- 27:02Speaker 1: you what lived there about the bip In the morning,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I'm rolling right out to the street playing y'all to
- 27:06Speaker 1: say out things in front and and and throw flowers
- 27:09Speaker 1: like throwing rice. But we're gonna have a win inside
- 27:12Speaker 1: the same year tomorrow. I promise you that I care.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I can assure you that it won't be I have
- 27:18Speaker 1: no other place to put the body. Okay, well i'll
- 27:20Speaker 1: bet y'all find someone to put it if I get
- 27:22Speaker 1: that to march. It's about it there. It's gonna be
- 27:24Speaker 1: a couple of about it in there. I ain't you
- 27:26Speaker 1: got two choices to move that funeral or to reimburse
- 27:30Speaker 1: me back this thirty thousand dollars out an hour to
- 27:31Speaker 1: spend those only two choices. I want to hear about it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Meet me at the front door to night with a
- 27:36Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars cash shar chick all we say to
- 27:38Speaker 1: had this winding up in that to morrow marning. You
- 27:40Speaker 1: heard me. I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all,
- 27:43Speaker 1: No jokes. That's wrong with y'all. Man. You can do
- 27:46Speaker 1: something else. I understand that I don't want to hear
- 27:50Speaker 1: from you man. Now, all I'm saying is it's gonna
- 27:52Speaker 1: be a winning at this church. More without about it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Push it to the band. Man.
- 27:59Speaker 1: There's there's one a bit of an issue that I
- 28:01Speaker 1: need to tell you. Also, what can be worse than
- 28:03Speaker 1: a dead body? What issue could be worse dead? By
- 28:06Speaker 1: the way, the man the issue sir, that it is
- 28:08Speaker 1: worse than the dead body? Is this, nephew. Comment from
- 28:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your best man, Jeff got

- 35:36Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, more trending news and topics
- 35:40Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, okay, So, Steve, we've heard
- 35:46Speaker 1: from some of our listeners in the d m V
- 35:49Speaker 1: that's DC, Maryland and Virginia, that area. They are still
- 35:53Speaker 1: outraged I mean outraged, and who isn't about a man
- 35:57Speaker 1: who is uh fatally stabbed for skipping line at Popeye's
- 36:01Speaker 1: Chicken in Maryland. According to police, the victim his name
- 36:05Speaker 1: is Kevin Davis. He cut or skipped the line methodically
- 36:09Speaker 1: to cut in front of people to get in front
- 36:11Speaker 1: of the line where he was confronted by another customer.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Fifteen seconds later, Davis was stabbed outside one time by
- 36:20Speaker 1: the man who confronted him. Police said, how does a
- 36:23Speaker 1: confrontation lead to a homicide in fifteen seconds? Also, did
- 36:28Speaker 1: you see the viral video of this young woman tearing
- 36:31Speaker 1: up her car? Yeah, I saw that and putting dents
- 36:34Speaker 1: in the doors. It was a Mercedes too while driving
- 36:36Speaker 1: because she didn't want anybody skipping the line, the drive
- 36:40Speaker 1: through line. She didn't want anyone getting in front of her. Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: this is crazy. Now come on, now, we're doing too much,
- 36:48Speaker 1: you know, stabbing somebody or anything, period, man is period.
- 36:56Speaker 1: But when you start getting down and you talk about
- 37:00Speaker 1: over a chicken sandwich, man, what is wrong with us?
- 37:03Speaker 1: I know? And you know when I say us, I
- 37:05Speaker 1: mean just as a people, as human beings, man, that
- 37:08Speaker 1: we don't cherish life enough of another human being to
- 37:12Speaker 1: put something something in front of it. I just said,
- 37:17Speaker 1: that's that. That's one of the sickest stories. Yeah, you know,
- 37:21Speaker 1: now this food turn up her car, so don't nobody
- 37:25Speaker 1: get in front of her. Yes, I mean the damage
- 37:31Speaker 1: you've done to your car, so you could be next.
- 37:34Speaker 1: And it's a nice car. It's it's a it's a
- 37:37Speaker 1: high end card to Mercedes. And she's just rammant. I mean,
- 37:40Speaker 1: just you know something, Junior. I think Junior had a
- 37:43Speaker 1: good idea the other day. Junior said, what we all
- 37:47Speaker 1: to put up the poles outside the chicken place? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 1: I think on voting day we should move at least
- 37:58Speaker 1: fall boosts down to Popeyes. Yeah. If if you that
- 38:03Speaker 1: damn committed over a chicken sandwich, I can only imagine
- 38:09Speaker 1: if you a registered vote to how enthusiastic you must
- 38:13Speaker 1: be about casting your vote and thousands of people who
- 38:18Speaker 1: gave up their lives so you could vote. I'm just assuming. Yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 1: So so that's that's what we should first. I like it,
- 38:29Speaker 1: Steve get get them registered first, and then put the
- 38:32Speaker 1: polling places outside the Popeyes. Come on now, all right, guys,
- 38:36Speaker 1: enough of this chicken stuff. Listen coming up at thirty
- 38:40Speaker 1: four after the hour, the wife of the University of
- 38:43Speaker 1: Florida football coach causes a little controversy. Um, she kisses.
- 38:48Speaker 1: She likes to kiss the players. We'll talk about it
- 38:50Speaker 1: right after this. What you're listening all right and trending stories,
- 38:57Speaker 1: guys from homestation in Gainesville, Florida, that the University of
- 39:01Speaker 1: Florida head football coach Dan Mullen's wife. Her name is Megan.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Now you know, guess what she does. A lot of
- 39:07Speaker 1: people do different things for good luck and they want
- 39:10Speaker 1: their their their players to win the game and to
- 39:12Speaker 1: motivate them. Well, what Miss Megan does is that she
- 39:16Speaker 1: gives every player a good luck kiss or a hug
- 39:20Speaker 1: before every game, whether they like it or not. And
- 39:23Speaker 1: here's the thing. She kisses them in the mouth. Okay,
- 39:28Speaker 1: tell you something, and I tell you something that ain't
- 39:32Speaker 1: got nothing to do with good luck or the game.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Little miss Megan lonely at the house. She saw these
- 39:38Speaker 1: two football players coming off this field. We're gonna start
- 39:42Speaker 1: kissing into my fotis game? Hell yeah, Hell do that.
- 39:50Speaker 1: She got some real issues going on that ain't happening
- 39:52Speaker 1: at her house. I'm gonna go down here and kiss
- 39:55Speaker 1: all these big young fine man. I can't wait to
- 40:02Speaker 1: get my lips on this running back this, oh and
- 40:06Speaker 1: these linemens they just so line up me. And but
- 40:12Speaker 1: she has earned Steve, she has earned the title of
- 40:14Speaker 1: Sarah get mother with the players, and she thinks of
- 40:16Speaker 1: the football players as their extended family. Take a listen.
- 40:20Speaker 1: They're college students, right, but there's there's so much more
- 40:22Speaker 1: demanded of them than anything I can do to, you know,
- 40:26Speaker 1: lift their spirits or just acknowledge something special they're doing.
- 40:29Speaker 1: You know what. Their moms aren't here, they don't get
- 40:31Speaker 1: to see them every day. But when I know they're
- 40:32Speaker 1: doing something special, I try to you know, I try
- 40:34Speaker 1: to do that. You'll see that. Really most programs just
- 40:37Speaker 1: to be able to see that and see the time
- 40:39Speaker 1: she take out her her off time, right and everything. Player,
- 40:43Speaker 1: you know that it's Sweden's kind. So there you go.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Some of the players think seet and kind. So see Steve,
- 40:50Speaker 1: do you go but in the mouth, in the mouth,
- 40:54Speaker 1: yeah that's cool. Yeah, Okay, my wife ain't going. And
- 40:57Speaker 1: they kissing all them boys, so do what you wanted
- 41:00Speaker 1: to And that ain't that ain't what is you kissing?
- 41:05Speaker 1: All asses? Fall yeah again in the mouth. In the mouth.
- 41:14Speaker 1: What do you say, Julia, You better learn how to
- 41:16Speaker 1: five in the mouth. The old Florida gave the sting
- 41:24Speaker 1: gonna come down with motto. I can see. I didn't
- 41:27Speaker 1: see a cheek. I don't mind a cheek, but the mouth, though,
- 41:32Speaker 1: coach your wife, tongue is means is every Saturday. But
- 41:38Speaker 1: they look at her as a Saragan mother. Okay, oh no,
- 41:42Speaker 1: no that sounds good as the press that ain't really
- 41:45Speaker 1: look like Yeah, most of them players are cool with it. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: if players is cool with it, didn't cool, you know,
- 41:51Speaker 1: but don't say nothing if you get kissed back though.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I'm just saying one of the boys, right. The tweet
- 42:00Speaker 1: has gone viral and people are asking is it appropriate
- 42:04Speaker 1: because the people on social media are feeling a bit
- 42:07Speaker 1: uneasy because she is a white woman, Like you said, Steve,
- 42:09Speaker 1: she's face to face and kissing mostly black and brown
- 42:12Speaker 1: young men. So well, that ain't got it's it's I
- 42:16Speaker 1: don't think it's a race issue at all. Yeah, that's
- 42:21Speaker 1: not how I look at it. It's not a race issue.
- 42:24Speaker 1: What it's Okay, So what social media saying the white
- 42:27Speaker 1: lady kissing black players. What what? Yeah, they're saying is
- 42:30Speaker 1: this appropriate? You know they're they're feeling a bit uneasy
- 42:33Speaker 1: about it. I'm just but the players a black mother
- 42:39Speaker 1: down that kissing them, what would they would they say
- 42:42Speaker 1: it looks inappropriate if it was a black mother, if
- 42:45Speaker 1: she were kissing some all white players players in the mouth?
- 42:49Speaker 1: Well see what they these are people that's putting a
- 42:51Speaker 1: racial spin on it. I don't think it's a race
- 42:53Speaker 1: has is not the issue here? Yeah, I just don't
- 42:57Speaker 1: see it as that, you know, I don't think it's
- 42:58Speaker 1: a race issue. Well, why is an ankle kindness turned
- 43:04Speaker 1: into race? I think it's a little weird, but I
- 43:08Speaker 1: don't think it's race. Why you don't kiss people on

- 43:21Speaker 1: he was on the same because rules No, Richard Gossin
- 43:30Speaker 1: was kicking kissing people. When penicilla had an effect, they
- 43:34Speaker 1: got starts facilitate. Coming up next, the nephew is in
- 43:40Speaker 1: the building with today's praying phone call. Right after this
- 43:43Speaker 1: bread penicilla on some bread, make some mold and get
- 43:46Speaker 1: your ass out of you. You're listening coming up at
- 43:52Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after

- 44:43Speaker 1: as you're not like, yeah, Church gave me this glove
- 44:51Speaker 1: healing power that dog qui director and let's go love it. Hello, Hello,
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Lorenzo. Lorenzo played speaking as calling Hi.
- 45:06Speaker 1: This is I'm Bernard. I'm giving your call on behalf
- 45:10Speaker 1: of Missionary Baptist Church and doing a follow up. Actually,
- 45:15Speaker 1: you you you've been the choir directors there right for
- 45:20Speaker 1: what is it close to six years now five and
- 45:23Speaker 1: a half years, okay, and for my understanding, you're doing
- 45:27Speaker 1: a great job. Everyone seems to love what you're doing
- 45:30Speaker 1: on Sunday mornings, which is definitely a blessing for the
- 45:33Speaker 1: entire congregation. Right, So, what I was giving you a
- 45:36Speaker 1: call on is there seems to be a bit of
- 45:39Speaker 1: discrepancy with some of the antics that is going on
- 45:42Speaker 1: when you are directing the choir on Sunday mornings, answering
- 45:47Speaker 1: say again now, no, no, come no, come again? You
- 45:50Speaker 1: said antics, Well, some of the members, who are you?
- 45:54Speaker 1: Once again? I said, my name is Bernard, and I'm
- 45:56Speaker 1: actually calling on behalf. What what's your last thing, sir?

- 46:08Speaker 1: the news that the church would like for you to have. Okay,
- 46:11Speaker 1: what news that? Well, let me let me get back
- 46:14Speaker 1: to where I was. I was stating that some people
- 46:16Speaker 1: in the congregation are actually having a problem with your
- 46:19Speaker 1: antics when you're directing the qui uh different things that
- 46:23Speaker 1: they're not happy with. It is a sorrowful moment, I
- 46:26Speaker 1: should say, for me to have to come to you
- 46:28Speaker 1: and tell you that you know, as of today, which
- 46:31Speaker 1: is Sunday, we're going to have to ask you to
- 46:34Speaker 1: step down as the Minister of Music. Hard. I want second,
- 46:38Speaker 1: maybe I'm not hearing you correctly. You have a problem
- 46:41Speaker 1: with the Holy Spirit getting the whole of me direct
- 46:45Speaker 1: the clu It's not necessarily it's not the Holy Spirit
- 46:48Speaker 1: at all. If you can shot all day, that has
- 46:50Speaker 1: nothing to do with it. I guess, just different antics
- 46:52Speaker 1: that you have. You know that the congregation is just
- 46:55Speaker 1: not I need you to be a little more clear
- 46:58Speaker 1: on what you're saying ASICs. Please tell me what you're saying.
- 47:03Speaker 1: So is it that my hass too long? Is it
- 47:06Speaker 1: that I look too cute when I'm in the choir? What?
- 47:09Speaker 1: What is it? So? I'm not I don't want to
- 47:11Speaker 1: hear it. I want to go take attack with you.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm not a member. I want you
- 47:16Speaker 1: to say it. Please say it. Ana they fired me,
- 47:20Speaker 1: they fired me today. I want you to say it.
- 47:22Speaker 1: And I want to know if the path to hide me,
- 47:26Speaker 1: why didn't he fire me? Well, you know it's it's
- 47:29Speaker 1: kind of like a business, you know, it's it's um
- 47:32Speaker 1: the higher ups, uh really really keep their hands clean
- 47:35Speaker 1: on these type of things. And there's always someone that
- 47:38Speaker 1: has to deliver the message, you know. And I'm and
- 47:40Speaker 1: I and you know what and I understand that, but
- 47:43Speaker 1: I want you to explain to me what answic Please
- 47:47Speaker 1: tell me, Please tell me. So I'm not listen. I'm
- 47:50Speaker 1: not gonna say no no no no no no no
- 47:52Speaker 1: no non't you call to deliver the news. I need
- 47:55Speaker 1: to know what answer? Okay? Are you wearing different hand
- 48:00Speaker 1: styles every other Sunday? Is? Is? Is your hair just
- 48:03Speaker 1: completely different? And to the damn beauty shop? I ever
- 48:07Speaker 1: say any morning, I want to look cute, just like
- 48:09Speaker 1: anybody else want to look cute on Sunday morning? Yes,
- 48:12Speaker 1: I do, right right, got a problem with that, sir.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm just a message. I don't have
- 48:16Speaker 1: a problem with what you know. You're doing well. Who
- 48:19Speaker 1: has problems? Evidently people at the stoves I'm helping now
- 48:22Speaker 1: that I'm looking better than okay, let me go ahead
- 48:26Speaker 1: and ask you something else. Are you wearing blue contact lenses?
- 48:32Speaker 1: I had on greater day? My day, I'm super was great.
- 48:34Speaker 1: So I had on greats for night when I was
- 48:36Speaker 1: going back for the musical, I was gonna have my
- 48:38Speaker 1: own green. You're gonna, sir, you Lorenzo, you were gonna

- 48:55Speaker 1: I want you to see it. I want you to
- 48:57Speaker 1: see it. Y'all'll say it, please said, I didn't say it.
- 49:02Speaker 1: That's that's that's that never was stated, Lorenzo. But you
- 49:06Speaker 1: ask me about my contact, you ask for me at
- 49:08Speaker 1: my half, right, But I didn't ask you about anything
- 49:11Speaker 1: else though, Lorenzo. Well, I just want you to get
- 49:15Speaker 1: to the point, please, sir, please, So what are you
- 49:18Speaker 1: representing the church or what an HR department? I don't understand.

- 49:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna show up at the musical tonight and I'm
- 49:31Speaker 1: gonna have my green contact on with my green So, Lorenzo,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I'm asking you now not to show up for the

- 53:31Speaker 1: boy here these strawberry letter All right, Steve g Ready
- 53:35Speaker 1: subject Roaches are a deal breaker for me. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:41Speaker 1: I need your help. I am twenty seven years old
- 53:43Speaker 1: and I have lived with my fiance for two years.
- 53:47Speaker 1: We bought our first house together and everything was great
- 53:50Speaker 1: until recently when my fiance's brother moved in with us temporarily.
- 53:55Speaker 1: His brother is going through a divorce and he has
- 53:57Speaker 1: lived with everyone in the family. He's worn out as
- 54:00Speaker 1: welcome everywhere, so I didn't mind him staying with us
- 54:03Speaker 1: for a couple of weeks till he got on his feet.
- 54:06Speaker 1: A couple of weeks have turned into two months, and
- 54:08Speaker 1: I want him out of our house. He is the
- 54:12Speaker 1: nastiest man I have ever seen. Our guest bedroom smells
- 54:17Speaker 1: like dirty clothes and feet when I walk by it.
- 54:19Speaker 1: He hasn't watched his clothes since he's been at our house,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and he takes showers twice a week. I hate it
- 54:26Speaker 1: when he's in a kitchen because he leaves it a mess.
- 54:29Speaker 1: The final straw was last week when I peeked in
- 54:33Speaker 1: his room and saw styrofoam containers by his bed, with
- 54:37Speaker 1: old molded food and crumbs everywhere. But that's not the
- 54:41Speaker 1: worst part Stephen Shirley. There was a family of baby
- 54:45Speaker 1: roaches on the nightstand, just feasting on all of the crumbs.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I shrieked so loudly that my fiance ran in to
- 54:55Speaker 1: check on me. I do not keep a nasty house,
- 54:58Speaker 1: and we have never had coaches. I told my fiance
- 55:02Speaker 1: that his brother had to go, and he told me
- 55:04Speaker 1: to calm down because he would handle the situation. I
- 55:09Speaker 1: want this man and his roaches out of my house.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I know that this man doesn't have anywhere else to go.
- 55:15Speaker 1: That's not my problem. My fiance has questioned my family
- 55:19Speaker 1: loyalty and told me it is a deal breaker for marriage.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I was shocked and thought maybe I need to reconsider
- 55:26Speaker 1: marrying him too, if he thinks it's okay for his
- 55:29Speaker 1: family to abuse our new home. Am I being unreasonable?
- 55:33Speaker 1: Please advise No, you're not being unreasonable, not at all.
- 55:40Speaker 1: You said we bought our first house together, so it's
- 55:43Speaker 1: your house too. And why should you have to put
- 55:46Speaker 1: up with this or his nasty brother if he has
- 55:50Speaker 1: a nerve to question your family loyalty because you don't
- 55:53Speaker 1: want to live with roaches, Yes, ma'am, you should absolutely
- 55:57Speaker 1: reconsider marrying him. Question him why why is it okay
- 56:01Speaker 1: for him to live with roaches? Now we all know
- 56:04Speaker 1: why his brother is getting a divorce. His wife probably
- 56:08Speaker 1: couldn't take it anymore either, U. And when when your
- 56:12Speaker 1: When is your fiance going to say something to his brother?
- 56:15Speaker 1: When is he going to say to him about leaving?
- 56:17Speaker 1: You clearly said in the letter that that your fiance
- 56:20Speaker 1: said he was going to handle it. Well when if
- 56:23Speaker 1: not now? When if the roaches don't do it? I
- 56:26Speaker 1: mean if the molded food and the containers, and the
- 56:29Speaker 1: and the stinky smell coming out of the room and
- 56:31Speaker 1: all of that, if that didn't make him go handle it,
- 56:35Speaker 1: roaches won't make him go handle it. I mean, really, Uh,
- 56:40Speaker 1: is your fiance okay with roaches? That's what you need
- 56:44Speaker 1: to reconsider because this whole letter U, the brother has
- 56:48Speaker 1: worn out his welcome with the rest of his family members.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You were being nice, okay, So so no more, mister
- 56:54Speaker 1: nice guy. Now you all need to talk about this.
- 56:57Speaker 1: It needs to all be out in the open. He
- 56:59Speaker 1: needs to find somewhere else to go, and your fiance
- 57:03Speaker 1: needs to handle it. And again, this is your house too,
- 57:06Speaker 1: so you have every right to speak up. Steve Well,
- 57:10Speaker 1: Well Well roaches our deal breaker from me. This lady's
- 57:17Speaker 1: twenty seven, live with a fiance. Two years they finally
- 57:20Speaker 1: bought their first house together. Everything was going good until
- 57:23Speaker 1: your fiance, his brother moved in, His brother's going through
- 57:28Speaker 1: a divorce, and his live with everyone in the family.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He's worn out his welcome everywhere, so I didn't mind
- 57:34Speaker 1: him staying with us for a couple of weeks till
- 57:35Speaker 1: he got on his feet. Excuse me, let's back on.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You don't mind him staying with y'all for a couple
- 57:42Speaker 1: of weeks, but everybody else he didn't wore out his
- 57:46Speaker 1: welcome everywhere, so I didn't mind him staying right there.
- 57:51Speaker 1: If you don't warn your welcome out everywhere, I'm not
- 57:54Speaker 1: gonna say I don't mind him staying with us for
- 57:56Speaker 1: a couple of weeks until he got on his feet,
- 57:58Speaker 1: because you know what happened a couple of weeks to
- 58:00Speaker 1: turn into two months, and I warned him out of
- 58:03Speaker 1: our house. This is the nastiest man I've ever seen.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Our guest room smells like dirty clothes and feet when
- 58:10Speaker 1: I walked by. See that's let me tell you something
- 58:13Speaker 1: about feet. That's a hard smell to walk past. Feet grab.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Yeah, here's something, dear feet grab,
- 58:25Speaker 1: Let me something. Feet. Bump is actually got hands on it.
- 58:31Speaker 1: It grabs you, It knocks you down, It shakes you
- 58:37Speaker 1: to wake you up. Feet book actually got hands. I
- 58:43Speaker 1: don't matter. Then he's one out as welcome, so I
- 58:45Speaker 1: don't mind standing with us. Two weeks to turn into
- 58:49Speaker 1: two months. He's nasty. The bare room smell. He ain't
- 58:54Speaker 1: washing clothes since he's been at our house. He's been
- 58:57Speaker 1: that two months. He ain't washing nothing. You ain't seen
- 59:01Speaker 1: a piece of lodger. Ain't nobody got two months worth
- 59:03Speaker 1: of draws. I'm gonna tell you this right now. What
- 59:07Speaker 1: nobody has two months supply or draw? Nobody you just
- 59:14Speaker 1: got sixty draw. No one has two months or draw.
- 59:23Speaker 1: You might have two months of safe You might have
- 59:28Speaker 1: two months worth of gas in your car. You might
- 59:30Speaker 1: have two months worth for groceries, but you ain't got
- 59:36Speaker 1: it's two months of draws in no damn draw it's
- 59:40Speaker 1: probably with the draws that that ain't feat. That's something
- 59:45Speaker 1: else you're smelling when you go by. Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 59:51Speaker 1: listen up. Part two of your response coming up at
- 59:54Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, right after this. Roaches
- 59:58Speaker 1: our deal breaker for me. You're listening, all right? Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. You were just getting into
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: it really good too. Subject roaches are a deal breaker
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: from me. Twenty seven year old lady been in fiance
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: with this man for two years. They have lived together,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: they bought their first house. His brother got in trouble
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: going through a divorce. He's lived with everybody in the family.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: The water is welcome, so I didn't mind him staying
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: with us for a couple of weeks till he got
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: on his feet. Two weeks turned into two months, and
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: you want him out. He is a nastiest man I've
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: ever seen. The guest rooms fails like dirty clothes and
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: feet when I walked by. That's probably something else that
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: ain't just FEAT. He ain't washed clothes since he's been
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: in our house, and he takes showers twice a week. Asked,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: what we're coming about? See that that's just week when
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you take a shower twice a week. Let me tell
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you the psychology behind people take showers twice a week.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: They don't like showers, and they try to avoid them
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: until they can't stand They damned self that all the guests,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: how I had to go on in here. I tried
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: sitting here, who but I can't take me no more?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So that's a problem. He hasn't watched his clothes since
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: he's been there. Take showers twice a week. I hated
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: when the kitchen because he leaves a mess. You you're
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: just describing a truthful the person. Final straw was when
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I picked in his room and I saw style from
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: containers buys bad with old molded food and crumbs everywhere.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: But here the worst part, Stephen Sherley, that was a family. Now,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I want y'all listen to this line. That was a
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: family of baby roaches on the nightstand just feasting on
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: all the crumbs. Lady, lady, you got to really start
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: thinking about getting out this damn house. When you see
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: baby roaches in the daytime out and legally snacking on
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: something on a nice stand, crawled up the back of
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: a nice stand, went back down, then got his friends
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and came back. L on. You start seeing baby roaches.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You can't count roaches that's in that house. Once you
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: see baby roaches, you got to set that house on fire.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: You got the brandest damn house down and try to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: get an insurance claim and make it look like it
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: was something else. You have no idea how many damn
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: roaches is in there. Roaches a new deal break roaches
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: is a deal breaking for most people. I'd have broke
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: up with people over roaches. Yeah, see, it happened myself.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Then when you saw the rock, you screamed so loud
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: your fiance ran in the check on me. I don't
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: keep a nasty house where you do now, because you
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: move funking it fun that ever the hell he wanted to.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Let's just use it for all times sake. Let's just
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: use the radio name of one of my favorite DJs
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: of all time, Funky lad shout out. But I'm just
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: using Funky Larry as an acronym to use to the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: man that's in now and you walked past his doing
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: it smell like feet. That ain't feat lady. When a
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: man showers twice a week and you walked past his
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: room and you smell what you thank his feet? Let
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: me clear this up for you. Feet has a similar
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: smell to ask from a distance. Wait wait, wait, wait
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: thou say that again? He has a very similar smell
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: to ass from a distance. You can't tell which which
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: they something? You don't know which one is quick like
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: if somebody old name button, if somebody over that by
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: and you're over here by the dough, when you walk
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: by the dough, it has lost its pungency and has
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: taken on the tone of bad feet as clearly, I
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: want you to understand what that is. Yeah, okay, let's
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just be the lesson from it here it is. Listen
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: to let me teach it to you. Older of feet,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: hast same smell as ass from a distance. What see
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you old up your butt and you take off your
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: gym shooter? Has been in your foot, been in it
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: for two days. He ain't showered for two days. He
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: to took this gym shoe off and has been in
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: there for two days. If you smell it up close,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: it's just like somebody's but twelve feet away. It's the
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: same thing, same smell. Now the roaches is drawn to that.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: But and feet to a roach is the equivalent of
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: lemon maranue. What yeah, But and feet to a roach
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: is lemon moraine to a human. I'm just all right
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: enough enough. Post your comments please on Today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:06:59Speaker 1: What we will historically recreate the nineteen sixty three marching
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: on Washington in August or twenty twenty. I'm happy right now?
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Why Virginia is now blue baby that took office the
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: state House and the Senate, and they got the governor.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: You know, he working things out. You know we're gonna
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: kind of ignore those things, call it and Shirley's you know,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: for us to get what we need to get. So
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: shout out of everybody in Virginia. Kentucky might have a
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: democratic governor because the democratic dude that already claimed it,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: and that he claimed then he brought it daddy, and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: he used to be the governor. So I'm happy this
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: is happening. Why am I happy this is happening? First

- 1:07:49Speaker 1: shout out for all my brothers and sisters in NPHC
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: organizations that are out there doing that service work. So
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Steve shouting out to Omega Side five, Tommy Kappa ALPHASA,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: all the eight Case, all the Deltas, everybody seem a
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Gamma rolls. Everybody out there, anybody I miss? Why am
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I doing this? Because I'm on my way to Tempe,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Arizona to have another town hall meeting and Kai Alpha
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Zeta chapter. They supported this movement, so we can have
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: this town hall meeting. It is not over. We gotta
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: be ready all the way to the November twenty twenty election.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: War and Batentine will moderate. Well. How we continue to
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: drive sols to the post for a year. Then I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: gotta shout out my soul of Zata Fa Beta Lonnie
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Daphne for being elected the first African the Marrin female
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to the West des Moines school Board. So on behalf

- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Harvey all right, relations too coming up at the top
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: of the hour, Carla's Reality update right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: all right, Tommy, let's go. Well, it's that time. Shirley
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: getting ready to get ready, get ready, get ready. She
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: is here Farrell with what reality update? Thank you, Nephew. Well, Steve,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I need that girl. Come on, Steve. You ain't say
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: nothing yet. Okay, well wait till I tell you this.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They are back. Okay, what
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: they back? Day back? I've been waiting for. I know
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: every day you've been waiting. Well, here we go, this
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: past Sunday, this finally right the season premiere, season twelve,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: season twelve of Wow Right Real Housewives of Atlanta, and
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Nini was not on the show. Kenya Morris back, yes,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: and the shell was focused Yes she is back, and
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: the show kind of focused on Candy Porsche of Cynthia Eva.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Eva's back and Kenya. Now, rumor has it that Ninie
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: will be on the maybe the third episode of this season.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: That she wasn't on the first two episodes because right
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: here she was dealing with contract issues and also she
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: was kind of salty that Kenya is back. So we'll see,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: we'll see what's going on with that. Anyway, Um, you
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: know Ninie and Cynthia, you know they kind of fell
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: out last season. Their friendship is over. So that's that.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Nabe one housewife that oh I'm listening, what's her name name?
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: One housewife that ain't fell out? M oh well it ain't. Yeah,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I was gonna say Marlow, but that's not true because
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: they fell out too, and she fell out with Marlow too,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: and Marlow's a friend of the housewife. So yeah, she's
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: pretty much had beef. Were pretty much everybody on the show.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: And anyway, you know, the show is a lot about babies, babies.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: This season, Kenya's beautiful daughter, Brooklyn, you know, we got
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: to see her. She's on the show. And Kenya on
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the show is talking about dealing with the long distance
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: marriage to her husband Mark, who's in New York, and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: so she's dealing with you know, it's hard being in
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: a long distance marriage and flying back and forth and
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: trying to see the babe be and raising this baby.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: So you see that going on in Kenya's life, Porsche's life.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: You know, Porsche just had her beautiful daughter, pj and
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: it was rumored that her baby daddy fiance Dennis was
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: fooling around. So they're not together on the show. They're
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: not together and so Kenya. I mean, Porsche's having a
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: hard time dealing with that with her new baby and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: her family, you know, her mom and sister, they're they're
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: supporting her. Todd and Candy Chay is not on the show.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: She wasn't there last season. Is gone, y'all, y'all gotta
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: let that go. She's not there. Oh, was gonna probably
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: be a minute then. And Todd and Candy, you know,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: they are having a baby vs. Ye Candy and Todd. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Candy and Todd. They are having a baby vs. Arrogant,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: And so you get to see that journey that they're on.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: So that's why I said this season is a lot
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: about babies. And then finally, Cynthia, she has been dropping
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: a lot of hints to her man, Mike Hill. She
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: wants to get married now, Steve, you introduced them, and
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: so she's been posting wedding gowns on the Gram and everything.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: She's dropping a lot of hints and Mike and selling
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: her to chill out. Let the process happen. Let me propose,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: don't rush me into this. Yeah, yeah, so let it happen.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: So that's the thing with Cynthia. So that was the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: first episode and then finally before I run out of
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: time on the scripted TV show Power, I just want
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: to know, child, are y'all coping? How are y'all coping
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: with the fact that Ghost was shot? Hi? Ya knew it? Season?
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Somebody going proper camp and go all right, hit me
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: up at Lizbecarlo. We'll talk of Steve knew what was
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: gonna happen. We can talk about Power and Real Housewives
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: of Atlanta twenty after. We'll be back Halla. You're listening
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to morning show all right? In Trending Music News, apparently
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Chris Brown was really serious about his yard sale, guys.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: A few weeks after announcing plans to sell up designer
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: duds from brands like Gucci, Valenciaga, and Supreme at knockoff prices,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Breeze came across with the details. He posted his actual
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: home address on Instagram, encouraging followers to come by and
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: buy some of his old stuff for cheap. Really, have
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: you ever done that? Steve Hey put his home address
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: on the gram to sell up a good idea, Uncle
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Steve done? No, Now we use the real dot com?
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, we put all of the designer stuff
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: up on there. And they sell it and we take
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the proceeds they get a fee for selling it, or
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: we take the proceeds and we give it to our foundation.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: And last year we made oh, really really big substantial
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: donation to Yeah. Yeah, well I'm talking about that's smart
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: president right now, a really big, really huge something really huge, terrific,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: something really huge, something so good, so big. Yeah. No,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do no yard sale out hit watching
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: stuff on the table. I'm not keep your moving at yall,

- 1:15:32Speaker 1: dot com. Yeah yeah, okay, okay, Well Chris Brown did it.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: He just cut out the middleman. Yeah, all right, guys.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: We got more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you're listening to show. David Letterman, Ice Cube, George Wallace.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Those were just a few of the people who spoke
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: at John John Witherspoon's homecoming service. Homegoing service, the seventy
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: seven year old passed away suddenly after going into cardiac
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: arrest at his home in Sherman Oaks last week. Letterman,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: who started off in the Comedy Game with John Richard Pryor,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Robin Williams and Jay Leno kicked off the celebration. He said,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I can't tell you the disappointment that this day brings
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: me because John was supposed to speak at my funeral.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Now what am I going to do? He joked, before
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: adding if you're interested, sign up in the lobby. Meanwhile,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Ice Cube had a touching tribute to John Witherspoon, and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: he spoke about how John could take any script, no
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: matter how bad it was, and make it something special.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: He probably summed it up, summed up the sentiment on
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: of the day when he said the world is just
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: not as funny without John Witherspoon. Others who paid tribute
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: to the led and included Cedric the Entertainer and Bill Bellamy.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Regina King wasn't able to be at the service, but
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: she sent along a video tribute. The Witherspoon family asked
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Actors
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Fund or the Angela and John Witherspoon Family Foundation for
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: the Arts. Wow Wow, he was loved. When you see
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: those types of people coming to a funeral and speaking,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: taking the time out that says a lot. Man. It
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: really really does that the life you live counted and
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: matter to so many, So that's great. In other entertainment news,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: ABC will show a live recreation of two of seventy
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: sitcoms in front of a studio audience the week before Christmas.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Get Ready for All in the Family. It will be
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: followed by Good Times. The casts for Good Times will
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: be announced in the coming weeks. Wow, the All in
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: the Family and the Jefferson's Life recreation was a ratings winner.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: You remember that back in May with Jamie Fox playing
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: George Jefferson. Remember that ab thre re created shows from
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: multiple Emmy winning Norman Lear creations. Woody Harrelson and Maurissa
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: tom May played the iconic lead roles of Archie and e.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I was it was. It was really good. Yeah, guys,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: we got more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. All right, we are back,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: last break of the day. Here is Steve. Just one
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: more thing in our closing remarks, I want to give
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: you an analogy everybody that I came up with a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: long time ago about reaping the harvest of your labor.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I think that's what all of us want to do.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: We all, most folks I know, don't mind working. So
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: if you work, yeah, you want to get paid, you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: want to reap a benefit. So growing up around the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: farm with my uncle and my grandfather, I learned some
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: things about farming that I've applied to my current life.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna share it with you today. If you look
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: at yourself as a farmer, which we all are, we
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: are all trying to grow some crop that will one
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: day benefit us in selling at the market or being
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: able to have a big spread and eat and sustain
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: our life. That's how we look at it. But before
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: you can benefit from this, you gotta tell the earth.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: You gotta tell the ground. You gotta get out there
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: and you gotta turn that soil over and flip it
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: over to prime it and getting ready for planting. So
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: when you plant, you want to make rolls. So let's
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: say you walk your mule down to the end of
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: the role with a plow attached to it. When you
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: get down to the end of the row, you stop.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: You gotta go back to the beginning of that role,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and you gotta start dropping seeds. In the ground and
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: cover them up with your hand as you go. This
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: is how you start the process to being success. After
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you've covered it, it takes a long time. This is
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: not a day's process. Now I'm giving you something that
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: happens over years. You go back under that row after
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: you plant all your seeds and you cover them, you
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: hook yourself back up to the plow and you come
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: all the way down that roll back to where you
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: started to make your second row. You want to hook
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: yourself from the plow and you go back up there
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and you drop some most seeds in the ground and
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: you start covering them up till you're all the way
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: back at your plow, which is one row over from
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the row you first started in. Now, when you look
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: at your role that you first started in, it's time
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: to start watering the seeds that you planted. And you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: walk down there and your water water water, water, water
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: water water. You come back down to the beginning, you
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: hook yourself up to the plow and you start making
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: your third row of seeds. You gotta constantly be planting.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: You gotta constantly be b b planting seeds. And when
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you make that third row and you get down at
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: the top. You go back to the second row and
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: you start watering that role. Well, by the time you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: get to round row five or planting roll water, it's
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: starting to sprout. There's some crop coming up out the ground.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: And when that crop comes out the ground, but you
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: don't want to do is go over there and start
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: eating it right away because it ain't even came to fruition.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: It's not full bearing fruit or full buried corn. You're
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: just gonna be eating stalks. So you gotta be patient
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and let it grow so it can turn into something.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Now along the way you start making your other roles.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: You gotta go back every now and then you gotta
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: put out pesticides because the haters is coming. You gotta
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: put pesticides out to protect from against the little haters,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: the little people that's trying to eat your crops for
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: they grow up. Put some pesticides out. So you go
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: down there and you keep planting your rolls, and you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: got thirty rolls made, thirty rolls. You look down there,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Roll one starting to bear fruit. Now you can go
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: down there and you can start eating off a roll one,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: but Roll thirty still needs to be tended to roll
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: fifteen needs fertilizing, You need water. Sometimes sometimes you gotta
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: cut them back. Sometimes you gotta walk back through your
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: crops and check for weeds. Have you high at somebody
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: or you're allowed or relative or friend to infiltrate your
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: plan and they now there just messing up your garden,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: digging holes in it and knocking over your crops. You
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: gotta go back, and you gotta dwed your crops. You
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: gotta get rid of some people because if you're not careful,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: they back that messing up what you to work for.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: And you just keep planting rolls, just keep planting seeds.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: You just keep covering up with dirt. You just keep
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: watering them. You keep going back and provide pesticides until
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: you look up and you got so many rolls, so
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: many rolls, And the further you look back, there's more
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: crops coming up out the ground. There's more trees bearing fruit,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: there's more corn stalks producing corn. And now you can
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: go back and eat. That's what they call fruits of
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: your label. That's when you can go back and you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: can start eating. But you gotta constantly tend to the
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: garden man, because the pesticides are always a problem. The
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: weeds growing up amongst your crops is always a problem.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: We are all farmers in life. We are all hoping
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: to reap the benefits now. Sometimes as a farmer or
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: drought hits. Ain't no water. Sometimes as a farmer of
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: flood come through. These are the things that happen in
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: life all the time. Because floods and droughts hit farmers,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: they don't stop farming. They know they got to start again,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: and they just do it because they understand that's the
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: process of reaping the benefits of harvesting from your labor.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: They understand that. So farmers don't stop farming because the
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: drought come. They run through the dry spell and they
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: just keep playing because they know the sun is coming up.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: They know that the flood's gonna dissipate, and they're gonna
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: have to be and then they'll be successful. Keep planting, everybody,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Keep tending to your garden, Keep guarding yourself against the
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: hats with the pesticide, Keep getting out the weeds out
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: your garden, tend to your crops. They will pay off
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: in the long run, because all of us, at the
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: end of the day, it's just a bunch of farmers
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: out here. That's all it is. All right, y'all have
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: a great woe. Many just trying to keep your encourage,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: keep farming. You do that, I'm gonna do huh, you

- 1:24:35Speaker 1: you got out of that. We're gonna open up. I
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: mean we've been again some trackers. I mean some you
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: know what I mean when I say yeah, and how
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: many roads we got? You can't row thirty, row fifty?
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: How many? He's so stupid. I mean what we should
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: do is do weed and food. That way we say weed,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: then people get the money. I'm saying, stop saying get
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: your own. God, we need a weed slash grocery store up. Steve,
