- 3:04Speaker 1: My friend, you're Linda Albams. Well, you know we're happy
- 3:09Speaker 1: to have you on the show. My staff when we
- 3:11Speaker 1: were going through the book of This is landa Adam times.
- 3:15Speaker 1: What you mean? You know, every year by Madams on
- 3:18Speaker 1: this show because you helped me launch my show in
- 3:21Speaker 1: twent seventeen, and every year you come on the show,
- 3:24Speaker 1: and my my listeners love you. They they know, the
- 3:28Speaker 1: ones that don't know you become fans of yours. And uh,
- 3:31Speaker 1: and just show you how much I you know, we're
- 3:34Speaker 1: gonna talk about the Aldam's handbag in a minute. But
- 3:36Speaker 1: this week every nine Am I sent my um my
- 3:40Speaker 1: news letter off to my fans. I got over the
- 3:42Speaker 1: eighty thousand fan club members and and your and your
- 3:46Speaker 1: link was the most clicked link in the newsletter. And
- 3:51Speaker 1: for the handbags. And they're beautiful too, by the way,
- 3:53Speaker 1: they are amazing handbags. Tell us about that right quick.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You know, I am a girly girl. I grew up
- 4:02Speaker 1: with a girly girl as a mom and a girly
- 4:04Speaker 1: girl as a grandma. My grandma's were a girly girl,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so uh, we always met the handbags, the scarves, the gloves,
- 4:15Speaker 1: the shoes, everything was you know, you had a you
- 4:19Speaker 1: had a specific thing that went with a specific thing,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and you know, the older I got, you know, the
- 4:27Speaker 1: more prosperous I got. I was able to buy some
- 4:29Speaker 1: things that you know, cost a little money. And then
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm started figuring, I'm like, no, wait a minute, I'm
- 4:35Speaker 1: giving all these people all this money. What about my fans?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Because people always ask me who are you wearing? Who
- 4:45Speaker 1: was that by? And I I started thinking, now my
- 4:49Speaker 1: fans can't buy a all of my fans, I'll say,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I can't buy a six hundred dollar bags. But what
- 4:57Speaker 1: if I could give them the same quality, uh, and
- 5:03Speaker 1: the same fashion, the same design, the same classic styles
- 5:09Speaker 1: at a fraction of the price, and then they could
- 5:12Speaker 1: take a piece of your lawn to home with them
- 5:14Speaker 1: or you know, ship it to a loved one or whatever.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And that's pretty much how it happened. And of course,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, we are surrounded by amazing people who do
- 5:24Speaker 1: all types of things. You know, there's no sense of
- 5:26Speaker 1: me trying to reinvent the wheel if someone has already
- 5:30Speaker 1: success done it. And that's one that's one of the
- 5:33Speaker 1: things that you have taught so well. When you know
- 5:37Speaker 1: someone who does something, merge with them, you know, uh,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you know, do a joint venture or something like that
- 5:44Speaker 1: with them. So that you come you both come out
- 5:47Speaker 1: on top. And we talked to the manufacturer and they
- 5:51Speaker 1: were like, oh, of course, we love you and we
- 5:53Speaker 1: think that that would be a we would have a
- 5:56Speaker 1: great synergy there, because synergy is very important. You know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: both sides are doing something that uh makes both of
- 6:07Speaker 1: them happy and making money at the same time. It
- 6:10Speaker 1: really is about that, you know. Let's let's talk about
- 6:12Speaker 1: the collection, because I got it pulled up, because I
- 6:15Speaker 1: got I got six sisters and I'm gonna buy. I'm
- 6:20Speaker 1: gonna buy. I'm gonna tell you somebody I didn't. I
- 6:22Speaker 1: just want to announce you. You You will get a little
- 6:25Speaker 1: little search from the McDonald name. Because the clutches are outstanding,
- 6:30Speaker 1: the cross bodies outstanding, the everything bag is outstanding, the
- 6:34Speaker 1: leather handbags, the neon, the neon bags are beautiful, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the toad, the shoulder bags, the satchels. It's just
- 6:42Speaker 1: the wallets. It's just how much involvement that you have
- 6:45Speaker 1: in the whole putting together the collection. Yalanda, Well, here's
- 6:49Speaker 1: the thing. I'm always hands on because I want no
- 6:53Speaker 1: Number one. I want to know what my customer is getting, right.
- 6:57Speaker 1: That's first thing. They will never put out a product
- 7:01Speaker 1: that I don't use and carry myself. When you see
- 7:05Speaker 1: me show up to anything, whether it's a red carpet
- 7:08Speaker 1: or whatever, if I have a bag in my hand,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it's a y A bag bag. I love that. There
- 7:16Speaker 1: you go, you see me going to church, it's the
- 7:18Speaker 1: YI bag. If you see me, you know, out having dinner,
- 7:22Speaker 1: well before the pandemic bag. And and again I know
- 7:29Speaker 1: that the quality of these bags are so amazing because
- 7:33Speaker 1: these the manufacturers. The same guy who does UM bags
- 7:37Speaker 1: for bergdof does bags for Macy's and Bloomingdale's and all
- 7:44Speaker 1: of those places. So that was definitely important to me.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Next was the design and the fashion flares. Be on
- 7:53Speaker 1: point with what's out there right now, because I want
- 7:57Speaker 1: anybody saying, well, you know, I like her bag, but
- 8:00Speaker 1: you know they're like about you know, nice in the nineties. No, no, no,
- 8:06Speaker 1: we are on par with what what happens during fashion
- 8:10Speaker 1: week every twice a year. So you'll you'll never see um,
- 8:15Speaker 1: you know, unless it's a classic bag like the tailor bag,
- 8:19Speaker 1: like the Boss Lady bag. Uh that you know, those
- 8:22Speaker 1: are classics that can you can get them at any time.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You know, those are great. But I am not going to,
- 8:29Speaker 1: you know, as flowers are in like they were last season,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I am not going to not have bags without flowers.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Thank you. You know. Here's the beautiful thing that I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: talking to. Landa adams Um. Everybody knows from her career
- 8:43Speaker 1: as a singer. She but I've known her as a
- 8:46Speaker 1: motivational person as an entrepreneur. That's the side of her always.
- 8:49Speaker 1: We always speak about when she comes on one amazing
- 8:52Speaker 1: conversation because of the fact that you know, and I
- 8:54Speaker 1: love when you threw out the word why a bag?
- 8:56Speaker 1: You know, that's that's that's branding to the max right there,
- 8:59Speaker 1: breaking down making the initials mean something, and like the
- 9:04Speaker 1: quality is what I'm just looking at it because of
- 9:06Speaker 1: the fact that I know I can see you walking
- 9:11Speaker 1: with that bag and looking normal, looking like it's part
- 9:14Speaker 1: of your style. That's what I loved about it. And
- 9:17Speaker 1: that's why when I'm looking at it now, I'm going, wow,
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know, but I don't feel like intimidated. If a
- 9:22Speaker 1: person who wasn't a lot of the albums with this bag,
- 9:25Speaker 1: they would look natural and they would look dressed up
- 9:28Speaker 1: or depending on what they want to want to satural,
- 9:29Speaker 1: they want the water they want, while they want to
- 9:31Speaker 1: shoulder bag they want throw over all these different options
- 9:35Speaker 1: really makes for like people. A person really can can
- 9:38Speaker 1: actually buy the collection, Yes, they actually can. Yeah, And
- 9:43Speaker 1: and it's reasonable enough that you can buy more than one.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And it's you know, if you want the higher end bags,
- 9:50Speaker 1: we have those, but we I refused to make them
- 9:54Speaker 1: higher than you know, a certain amount, because uh, you know,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I just think I want to be cogressens of where
- 10:03Speaker 1: everyone is in their life. And here's the fourth sight
- 10:07Speaker 1: of this Rashan. You and I had no idea that
- 10:11Speaker 1: this pandemic was coming, right, And so where a person
- 10:16Speaker 1: cannot afford a thousand dollar bag, five hundred dollar bag,
- 10:19Speaker 1: a two hundred dollar bag, they can go to the
- 10:21Speaker 1: website and they can they can look at it and say,
- 10:24Speaker 1: wha this is This bag looks setilar to that twelve
- 10:28Speaker 1: hundred dollar back right and looking good, looking good, Yes,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and nobody would know the difference. And the thing about
- 10:38Speaker 1: it is that that's why when when I brought you
- 10:40Speaker 1: on the show, I want to make sure people know
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm engaged. I'm not just bringing you on the show
- 10:44Speaker 1: to talk about it. And I like to believe you
- 10:46Speaker 1: I grew up with six sisters. You know, I have
- 10:48Speaker 1: a sense of that fashion of what my sisters wore
- 10:52Speaker 1: or where, And I've been in the entertainment business assists
- 10:55Speaker 1: of what that price line that you and then then
- 10:57Speaker 1: I've entertained everyday people, and that's what it calls about.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Everyday people will being able to reach it to their budget.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And but when you go to the website, when you
- 11:05Speaker 1: go to there and watch these bags, you've got to
- 11:07Speaker 1: buy something. I'll just tell you, if you don't want
- 11:09Speaker 1: to buy something, don't go to the website because it's
- 11:11Speaker 1: gonna pull you in like it pull your bay in.
- 11:14Speaker 1: And now I'm six deeper with my sisters. He's one
- 11:18Speaker 1: of the things that you have always been so brilliant
- 11:21Speaker 1: in and You've always taught me that you always find
- 11:26Speaker 1: the price point that matches the people who follow you.
- 11:31Speaker 1: You know, I I love ten thousand dollar bags. I
- 11:36Speaker 1: don't own a ten thousand dollar bag because I think that,
- 11:39Speaker 1: you know, I'd rather have ten thousand dollars worth of
- 11:42Speaker 1: stock right right right. But you know, my thing is
- 11:47Speaker 1: how many of my fans and family as I call them,
- 11:53Speaker 1: would really invest because that's an investment in ten thousand
- 11:57Speaker 1: dollars as opposed to let's say, uh six, absolutely absolutely,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I have to agree, you know, and I'm just gonna
- 12:05Speaker 1: stop people out there, people out there buying these knockoffs.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You you're spending more on bad knockoffs that would for
- 12:14Speaker 1: quality y A bag. There you go, There you go.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And you've always taught there's there's more security and numbers
- 12:22Speaker 1: than just the you know, the branding, and we know
- 12:26Speaker 1: branding is awesome. Yes, yes, I would rather have I
- 12:32Speaker 1: would rather sell ten thousand y A bag at their
- 12:37Speaker 1: price than to sell to at ten thousand dollars. There
- 12:41Speaker 1: you go, There you go. We're on the same page
- 12:43Speaker 1: with money making conference speaking to your Landa Adams London.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Let me describe this. We're gonna transition to the next
- 12:49Speaker 1: product that she she's she's out there selling us an
- 12:52Speaker 1: entrepreneur over the years. It's called simply your Landa. It's
- 12:55Speaker 1: a bath and body collection. Let me read this. Through
- 12:58Speaker 1: the creation of the simply your Landa collection, she aims

- 13:07Speaker 1: quality and greenies. As long as you say it's my
- 13:09Speaker 1: passion for creating. This line stems from the same passion
- 13:13Speaker 1: I possess when creating music is all about being spiritually,
- 13:16Speaker 1: emotionally and physically well yeah, balance, you have to have
- 13:21Speaker 1: balance in your life. And our our largest organ, there's
- 13:26Speaker 1: our stan and it's usually the part of us that
- 13:30Speaker 1: we do not take care of the most, you know,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and that's from the top of your head to the
- 13:36Speaker 1: soles of your feet, as they say in the church. Absolutely,
- 13:39Speaker 1: absolutely you know, and it's really about you know. It's

- 15:37Speaker 1: E R dot ai, which been a lot of money
- 15:40Speaker 1: when it's too late for you know. And and one
- 15:44Speaker 1: of the things I want to talk about for some reason,
- 15:46Speaker 1: early on and when I was in high school, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I understood my face, so I understood you know, all
- 15:52Speaker 1: these skin I just do you know, uh, pores and
- 15:55Speaker 1: getting dirt out of my poor to washing with cold water,
- 15:58Speaker 1: washing with warm water. One water opens your pores, cold water,
- 16:02Speaker 1: ice closes your pores. And what the reason I want
- 16:05Speaker 1: to bring up this about is that we as African
- 16:08Speaker 1: Americans and we know what we're dealing with in these
- 16:10Speaker 1: pandemic times. You know, we'll we'll we'll we'll be we're
- 16:13Speaker 1: higher victims or the COVID nineteen. And it starts with care,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and it starts with spending time. And again we come
- 16:20Speaker 1: into a product bathroom, your bathroom body collection where guess
- 16:24Speaker 1: what the price point is very reasonable? Talk about that. Well,
- 16:28Speaker 1: here's the thing. As I got older, I realized that
- 16:31Speaker 1: my skin and my body were changing. Uh you know me,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I am a health nut I have always taken care
- 16:39Speaker 1: of myself nutritionally, spiritually, and physically, and I found that
- 16:46Speaker 1: the products that I was using, they were costing a
- 16:50Speaker 1: lot of money and I was not seeing the results
- 16:52Speaker 1: that I wanted. So I got with a friend of
- 16:56Speaker 1: ours and UM, I said, you know what I've been thinking,
- 17:00Speaker 1: can really hard about creating my own bath and bodyline.
- 17:03Speaker 1: You know that was that we had the candles at first,
- 17:06Speaker 1: and it was like, oh my gosh, if you do that,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I will be a part of your your team. And um,
- 17:13Speaker 1: we got with a scientists who was privy to some
- 17:18Speaker 1: of the really higher in um cosmetics and and and
- 17:24Speaker 1: and pharmaceuticals and skin suticals and all of those things
- 17:28Speaker 1: that nurture the skin. And I told him, Hey, this
- 17:31Speaker 1: is the thing that we have to do. We have
- 17:33Speaker 1: to cleanse the skin, but we have to leave a
- 17:37Speaker 1: seal of moisture in there so people don't have to
- 17:40Speaker 1: continually use the flay, you know, over and over and
- 17:44Speaker 1: over again during during the day, because people don't have
- 17:47Speaker 1: that kind of time. They get in the shower, they
- 17:50Speaker 1: get out of the shower moisturized, they're headed to work
- 17:53Speaker 1: or headed to wherever they're going to go and so
- 17:58Speaker 1: you you know, I know all these influencers are doing
- 18:01Speaker 1: a lot of things right now. I mean, but they're
- 18:03Speaker 1: at home in front of cameras. So there are real people,
- 18:07Speaker 1: more than eight billion in the world, that have a
- 18:10Speaker 1: whole bunch to do that really don't have that kind
- 18:14Speaker 1: of time. And I said, so I need I need
- 18:17Speaker 1: a body wash. I need a body soul, which is
- 18:20Speaker 1: a moisturizer, and I need a body oil because there
- 18:23Speaker 1: are some people who can't do you know, the South
- 18:27Speaker 1: flay for whatever reason, but they can do the oils.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And I said, I definitely need a price point where
- 18:33Speaker 1: all my people can get it. But it has to
- 18:36Speaker 1: be so amazing that uh, they'll come back each and
- 18:41Speaker 1: every time. And we have the love and the chocolate
- 18:44Speaker 1: that have been I mean, we've been doing the bodyline
- 18:48Speaker 1: since two thousand and twelves. We know, it's really interesting.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Because I'm gonna talk to the men here, okay, because
- 18:54Speaker 1: we always jump out there with the elbows as she
- 18:58Speaker 1: and the ankles look like cracking on our you know,
- 19:01Speaker 1: we don't. You know, I'm gonna tell you this, I
- 19:04Speaker 1: look really bad. The other day my wife had to
- 19:06Speaker 1: check me where you're going. Where are you going with
- 19:08Speaker 1: no socks? Where are you going with no socks? And
- 19:11Speaker 1: so and so that's what Let's let's go back to
- 19:13Speaker 1: the body. All okay, So let's have you know we
- 19:18Speaker 1: our skin. God gave us our bodies, okay, and we
- 19:22Speaker 1: all it's gonna naturally deteriorate, but it doesn't have to
- 19:25Speaker 1: naturally deteriorate fast if you take care of if you
- 19:28Speaker 1: take care and that's what this that's what this call
- 19:31Speaker 1: is about. It's about it's about taking care of you.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And and you have a product. From a stylish standpoint,
- 19:38Speaker 1: you can go out there from a fashion standpoint, take
- 19:40Speaker 1: care of your budget, take care of you. Look now
- 19:42Speaker 1: we're talking about the physical side of you when you're
- 19:45Speaker 1: walking out there. How you how you wash down, how
- 19:48Speaker 1: you put all on your face, Like I have a
- 19:50Speaker 1: ball head. So you know, I slapped that body all
- 19:52Speaker 1: on my head, okay, And so because that's what it
- 19:56Speaker 1: does for me, Because I was walking out the door,
- 19:58Speaker 1: you know, I was just shaving and then put a
- 20:01Speaker 1: put a towel and white dry off the top. But
- 20:03Speaker 1: guess what it would kind of like start looking like
- 20:05Speaker 1: it was cracking up there, you know, until I started
- 20:08Speaker 1: putting the body all on it. I'm just being honest
- 20:11Speaker 1: with you, Landa. I use your products because your products
- 20:14Speaker 1: make me feel better and look better. Thank you so much.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And that is you know, that's our intention. Our intention
- 20:21Speaker 1: is not just you know, to be in your life
- 20:25Speaker 1: for just the sales. You know, we want to know
- 20:28Speaker 1: how you feel about it, because that's one of the
- 20:31Speaker 1: things that we say. It just feels better, you know. Um.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I knew that, uh as we move into these um
- 20:42Speaker 1: these times where the sun it's uh, it's hotter, it
- 20:45Speaker 1: seems like the sun it seems like a former uh climate. Uh,
- 20:50Speaker 1: it stays with us longer than the winter and longer
- 20:54Speaker 1: that's fall. You know, you have to have something that
- 20:57Speaker 1: combats that. And so when then like, well what about
- 21:00Speaker 1: to men's product, Well that's what the chocolate is for,
- 21:02Speaker 1: thank you, you know the men you know, and I
- 21:06Speaker 1: have some brothers who use love as well, because they
- 21:09Speaker 1: say it reminds them of, you know, a softer kind
- 21:14Speaker 1: of smell that they don't have to worry about whether
- 21:17Speaker 1: it will clash with their cologne. Chocolate is not going
- 21:22Speaker 1: to clash with your cologne. I wanted to make sure
- 21:25Speaker 1: that you could layer this product. Product, smell good, feel good,
- 21:31Speaker 1: nourish the skin, cleanse the skin, and then you know,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and and get out there and do your thing in
- 21:38Speaker 1: the world. Well you're doing that. That's that's why obviously
- 21:41Speaker 1: did everybody knows that just because you own online that
- 21:44Speaker 1: says female products. Okay, these products are available for everybody,
- 21:48Speaker 1: especially being and well we all want to out there searching.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Stop searching, let's go to as she gotta fight. She
- 21:54Speaker 1: got product over here that allows you to to take
- 21:58Speaker 1: care of you. Like I said, you know of the
- 22:00Speaker 1: elbow where where where men fail. We fell on that elbow.
- 22:03Speaker 1: We feel on those ankles or ankles, but we die
- 22:06Speaker 1: and they're told we forget all of our toes and
- 22:09Speaker 1: that's why we get bad. That's told look bad in
- 22:11Speaker 1: the summer. Summer's coming. Start getting those toes right by
- 22:14Speaker 1: getting the right product. And you're lying. I wanted to
- 22:16Speaker 1: bring you on the show just to talk about that
- 22:18Speaker 1: because of the fact that I support you. You know,
- 22:21Speaker 1: you don't have to you don't have to ask me
- 22:22Speaker 1: if if you want to, if you would not have
- 22:24Speaker 1: done my interview today. And I just you know, this
- 22:27Speaker 1: is inspiration for me. I get something that's interview when
- 22:30Speaker 1: you when you do it as well as you get
- 22:31Speaker 1: something that we both were to our kinship. But I
- 22:35Speaker 1: have to support things I feel fit African American UH budget.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I feel that makes them look good. But I get
- 22:42Speaker 1: tired of us going out there buying products that don't uh,
- 22:46Speaker 1: that don't suit your budget, buying knockoffs, buying products that
- 22:50Speaker 1: look extreme. But you can buy a collection of you
- 22:53Speaker 1: can buy a collection of your handbags. You can buy
- 22:56Speaker 1: a collection of your products, and you can keep winning.
- 22:58Speaker 1: That's you know, that's a that's the beauty of what
- 23:00Speaker 1: you're doing with your brains. Have you have you taken
- 23:03Speaker 1: to like everybody's doing these Instagram lives? And have you
- 23:06Speaker 1: have you done like a little store yet live online? Yet?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Have you done yet? You know we're about to, you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: have the U I had the the Oprah thing. I
- 23:18Speaker 1: had a bunch of things, you know. And I am
- 23:20Speaker 1: very protective of my aecial family. I don't wanna, you know,
- 23:26Speaker 1: be out there just to be out there. I want,
- 23:28Speaker 1: you know, I I protect my people. And when you know,
- 23:33Speaker 1: when when um, when the pandemic started, I talked to
- 23:38Speaker 1: all of my manufacturers. I talked to all of my distributors.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I'm like, listen, I need a portion of this money
- 23:43Speaker 1: to go to you know, feed the hungry. I need
- 23:47Speaker 1: of this money to go to cooking for kids. I
- 23:50Speaker 1: need a portion of this money to go to store
- 23:52Speaker 1: and so and so on. So. So when you buy
- 23:54Speaker 1: any y A products or simply you long the product
- 23:58Speaker 1: you are really poor in. You know, you may not
- 24:01Speaker 1: be able to go out and feed somebody because they're
- 24:03Speaker 1: a stay at home thing in your state or in
- 24:06Speaker 1: your city. But can know that with the purchase of
- 24:09Speaker 1: these things, you are actually feeding people. You are actually
- 24:13Speaker 1: providing water, You're actually providing clothing. Awesome, actually providing assistance
- 24:20Speaker 1: to the homeless folks who don't have what you have.
- 24:23Speaker 1: So you know, it's it's always been and that's another
- 24:27Speaker 1: thing that you have always taught us as well. Have
- 24:30Speaker 1: a good cause, uh, surrounding your brands. Don't just take
- 24:36Speaker 1: take take, be in the position to give. And I
- 24:39Speaker 1: am so thankful that I am in the position to
- 24:41Speaker 1: get awesome. Let's uh, I want to make sure that
- 24:46Speaker 1: I get clear what I'm asking you to do. I'm
- 24:49Speaker 1: asking you have you considered just going live with your
- 24:52Speaker 1: bags and your daughter? Is that gonna happen because I
- 24:56Speaker 1: want to promote it because I just see this as
- 24:57Speaker 1: a you know, QVC I a back and body moment,
- 25:02Speaker 1: because that's what people are accepting, that that the pandemic
- 25:04Speaker 1: has shown us that people are into, especially African American community,
- 25:08Speaker 1: are in tune. We're going online. We understand the online process,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and we know you have a reputable name. So if
- 25:13Speaker 1: we buy what you are all from, we're gonna get it.
- 25:16Speaker 1: So where you're atting the planning stages with that, if
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's well, we're almost of course, you know, everything has
- 25:24Speaker 1: to go through attorney, so Mr rick Attorney Ricky, and
- 25:32Speaker 1: that sealed up and before before the middle of June,
- 25:37Speaker 1: we will have all of that done. Okay, let me know,
- 25:40Speaker 1: so I can apply my social media to it and
- 25:42Speaker 1: my fan clubs and drive traffic just like I did
- 25:44Speaker 1: trap drove traffic the prefence in Obama for his hbcuth
- 25:48Speaker 1: speech on Saturday, and so it's it's using our relationships
- 25:51Speaker 1: that build that. But before we close, I got you know,
- 25:53Speaker 1: we always have two amazing people we love and our daughters.
- 25:57Speaker 1: My daughter goes to Universe Houston, your daughter go to
- 26:00Speaker 1: Howard University. Any updates of It's brag time right now,
- 26:04Speaker 1: because I'm gonna bragg in a minute. I'm gonna let
- 26:05Speaker 1: you brag first. Well has successfully finished her sophomore years.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Is how a uh matriculating junior as they say, yes, yes, yes,
- 26:20Speaker 1: thriving jr. And um. The pandemic you know, the stay
- 26:26Speaker 1: at home, you know, quarantine kind of thing kind of
- 26:29Speaker 1: got to her at first because she was so used
- 26:32Speaker 1: to the camaraderie of you know, being around uh everybody.
- 26:39Speaker 1: But it made her stronger in the end, because of
- 26:44Speaker 1: course they were zooming and face timing and doing all
- 26:48Speaker 1: the skypes and stuff like that, and and it showed
- 26:51Speaker 1: her how strong she really was. And so I you know,
- 26:56Speaker 1: I told her, I'm like, hey, this pandemic, this arrant
- 27:00Speaker 1: to teach you who you are even more. And you know,
- 27:06Speaker 1: it's really interesting you're saying that, because that happened with
- 27:08Speaker 1: my daughter. You know, she she would be she finished
- 27:10Speaker 1: the semester, she will be a senior moving forward. Close.
- 27:13Speaker 1: She closed out her classes online at the University of Houston,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and at first when she came up, she was just
- 27:18Speaker 1: in her room all the time, you know, it's on
- 27:20Speaker 1: her computer. And then she started coming out and said,
- 27:22Speaker 1: your dad, you need me to do something for you.
- 27:24Speaker 1: You need me to go somewhere with you. I got
- 27:26Speaker 1: the you know, got the mask. They got nobody. She
- 27:28Speaker 1: knows about social distance and she travels with the hand sanitized.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I got. She's quipped she got a kid when she
- 27:33Speaker 1: leaves the house and so and so I watching how
- 27:36Speaker 1: she's starting to clean up the house and we've sitting
- 27:39Speaker 1: on the porch on Sunday, I sat down and just
- 27:41Speaker 1: talked to her, and that just having mature conversations with
- 27:44Speaker 1: my daughter. It's something I've never had because I'm always
- 27:47Speaker 1: traveling and I'm always there on the road. And so
- 27:49Speaker 1: I know that watching a young lady, a young girl
- 27:53Speaker 1: become a young lady. As you're watching a young girl
- 27:55Speaker 1: become a young lady, and and and watching them deal
- 27:58Speaker 1: with global asked for the first time in their lives,
- 28:02Speaker 1: there wasn't playing. That's where you know, you know, you
- 28:05Speaker 1: tell your kids you're gonna graduate, you gotta get a job.
- 28:07Speaker 1: But nobody saw this comment. And so that's a stress.
- 28:10Speaker 1: What you're saying. I understand because I've seen it play
- 28:12Speaker 1: out of my daughter. And I tell everybody it's a
- 28:15Speaker 1: blessing to see. Take your time and walk through them
- 28:17Speaker 1: with conversation. Don't you agree? Oh my god, yes, that's
- 28:21Speaker 1: the biggest thing you can give you a child is
- 28:24Speaker 1: time and an ear. Wow, that's awesome. When you learned,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I want I want to hold you any longer. You
- 28:30Speaker 1: know again, I want to bring you on the show
- 28:32Speaker 1: to talk about your why are you Landa Adams handbags?

- 28:39Speaker 1: I'll be promoting the Bathroom Beauty Line, which is simply
- 28:43Speaker 1: your Landa, which is amazing. I use it. I used
- 28:47Speaker 1: it for my head, I used it for my ankles,
- 28:48Speaker 1: your body, your lundon up. Now I gotta go and
- 28:51Speaker 1: live today and buy some bags for my sisters so
- 28:54Speaker 1: they can start smiling. I wish I saw this link
- 28:56Speaker 1: before Mother's Day, but I didn't see it. So they're
