- 1:45Speaker 1: turn out the water the mon.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look. Come come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 3: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:13Speaker 3: What an amazing blessing. God has given me, my health,
- 2:18Speaker 3: my dreams, all of it. God gave it to me.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I accept it.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I work hard, but man, oh man, oh man, I
- 2:27Speaker 3: work hard. It is something that He gave me a gift.
- 2:31Speaker 3: And that's what I want to talk to you about today.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Because God has gifted everyone, so I can't help but
- 2:37Speaker 3: believe it. You are gifted in some way. Something about
- 2:42Speaker 3: you is specially and unique. That doesn't mean you're the
- 2:46Speaker 3: only one that can sing? Are you the only one
- 2:48Speaker 3: that can write? Are you the only one that can draw,
- 2:50Speaker 3: you the only one that can decorate? Or you the
- 2:53Speaker 3: only one that can network, or you're the only one
- 2:56Speaker 3: that does not what it means, or you have a
- 2:58Speaker 3: great scientific mind, or you can figure things out, are
- 3:00Speaker 3: you're good at problem solving. You're not the only one,
- 3:03Speaker 3: but you are a unique individual. Nobody will travel the
- 3:06Speaker 3: exact path that you on. Nobody will have everything happen
- 3:09Speaker 3: in a series of circumstances in the order that you're
- 3:14Speaker 3: going to have it happen to you. That's what I
- 3:16Speaker 3: mean when I say that you are unique. But now
- 3:19Speaker 3: because you are gifted, you know you have something you
- 3:23Speaker 3: have to do. You know, there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs,
- 3:27Speaker 3: Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying to be a
- 3:30Speaker 3: little bit better at that for you, you know. So
- 3:32Speaker 3: when I have an idea and I know where it is,
- 3:35Speaker 3: I have somebody look the scripture up from men handed
- 3:37Speaker 3: to me. So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And this
- 3:41Speaker 3: is the layman's term of it. It says a man's
- 3:44Speaker 3: gift make room for him and brings him before great men.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It is your gift that will make room for you.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Now my interpretation of this is this. Now I could
- 3:55Speaker 3: be wrong. Please go to your local church center, God Temple, mosque.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Whatever you do and go get clarification. But what my
- 4:03Speaker 3: gift has done in making room for me is I've
- 4:07Speaker 3: taken it almost in the literal sense. My gift has
- 4:10Speaker 3: actually made room for me. It has cleared paths for me.
- 4:14Speaker 3: My gift has opened up doors for me. That's what
- 4:17Speaker 3: I take it as. It'll make room for you. My
- 4:19Speaker 3: gift has has broadened my ability to travel. My gift
- 4:24Speaker 3: has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has caused
- 4:29Speaker 3: me to be able to provide for my family. My
- 4:33Speaker 3: gift has caused me to be able to reach more people.
- 4:37Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying in terms of it will make
- 4:40Speaker 3: room for you. That it may be another interpretation. I'm
- 4:42Speaker 3: just telling you how I took it, that it has
- 4:44Speaker 3: worked out pretty good for me to that understanding. But
- 4:47Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure Bishop Jakes, Joel Oldstein, Ken If, oh My,
- 4:51Speaker 3: you know, God, Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Stable, these guys
- 4:54Speaker 3: give you much better understanding of it.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm just giving it to you, you know, way, I
- 4:58Speaker 2: know how sold. I don't know.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I just like to keep it right there. But and
- 5:02Speaker 3: then it says that it brings you before great men.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I mean, you know, it's gonna take you places. It's
- 5:09Speaker 3: gonna take your places you never thought of going. You're
- 5:12Speaker 3: gonna meet people because of your gift. I told my son,
- 5:16Speaker 3: who two of them are good photographers. You'll be taking
- 5:19Speaker 3: pictures of great men and then I mess with them.
- 5:21Speaker 3: You already take the pictures, say your daddy. You know
- 5:23Speaker 3: I'm messing with them like that. But that's just me
- 5:24Speaker 3: and them, just kicking it. But you know, but one day,
- 5:27Speaker 3: who knows, you could be shooting the president. You know,
- 5:30Speaker 3: you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know, you
- 5:33Speaker 3: could be shooting great sport events. You know, you never
- 5:35Speaker 3: know where it could take you. But that's your gift.
- 5:38Speaker 3: What you gotta do is you gotta get to move
- 5:40Speaker 3: and though. See, you can't have your gift and not
- 5:43Speaker 3: do nothing with it. See you know what that reminds
- 5:45Speaker 3: me of. It's something that my father used to say,
- 5:49Speaker 3: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 5:53Speaker 3: gold mine.
- 5:54Speaker 2: He say that all the time.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Boy, get up off your butt and move it because
- 5:58Speaker 3: you sitting on a gold mine. I never really quite
- 6:01Speaker 3: got that when I was little, but now that I'm
- 6:03Speaker 3: an adult, I got it full well. See a lot
- 6:05Speaker 3: of you are sitting. You're sitting on a talent or
- 6:08Speaker 3: a gift that you have. You're sitting on an ability.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I don't care if it's making cakes or pies. That's
- 6:14Speaker 3: a gift, man, that's a talent. I don't care if
- 6:17Speaker 3: it's the ability to do hell, that's a gift.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Half of you are gifted.
- 6:22Speaker 3: A lot of us are gifted, and we're sitting on it,
- 6:25Speaker 3: looking at other people, wondering what can I do to
- 6:27Speaker 3: make it? You already got something to make it with.
- 6:31Speaker 3: If you would just get up off your behind, man,
- 6:34Speaker 3: quit sitting on that gold mine.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Some of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is.
- 6:39Speaker 3: When it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and
- 6:42Speaker 3: cables and wires and computers and stuff. And now you
- 6:46Speaker 3: steady looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what
- 6:48Speaker 3: I can go do?
- 6:49Speaker 2: How about you go do that?
- 6:51Speaker 3: You know it ain't that hard, man, If you would
- 6:54Speaker 3: just take note of what God has given you already.
- 6:58Speaker 3: He has given you a gift already, He has already
- 7:01Speaker 3: given you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't
- 7:04Speaker 3: using it and you sitting on your tail somewhere, now,
- 7:08Speaker 3: who fathers what we're talking about? What you blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 3: for that. Man, I tell you what, I sit around
- 7:16Speaker 3: people all the time who are gifted, and I'm looking
- 7:20Speaker 3: at their gifts, and they steady complaining about what they
- 7:24Speaker 3: don't have, but will not get up off there behind
- 7:28Speaker 3: and use the gifts.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That God gave them. And it's frustrating.
- 7:32Speaker 3: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 7:35Speaker 3: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 7:38Speaker 3: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 7:40Speaker 3: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's a cat sitting behind the wall right now that's
- 7:49Speaker 3: locked up. That's so good at artistry. It's cats in
- 7:53Speaker 3: that tattooing everybody. Man, get out, do it the right way.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Quit selling drugs, man, You ain't going nowhere selling no drugs.
- 8:00Speaker 3: You going to jail. And if that don't do it,
- 8:03Speaker 3: somebody gonna get tired of you selling drugs cause they're
- 8:05Speaker 3: gonna want to sell them over and they gonna kill you.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Let's just keep this thing real for just a second here.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Come on, man, get up off your butt, because you
- 8:12Speaker 3: sitting on the gold mine, and you sit up here.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 8:17Speaker 3: no shortcut. Somebody told me this the other day.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Man, the road to success is always under construction.
- 8:25Speaker 3: It ain't paved, it's got detoured signs on it. It's
- 8:29Speaker 3: got slow men working. Sometime they flip the stop sign.
- 8:34Speaker 3: You gotta sit there and wait. Sometime they got slow.
- 8:37Speaker 3: There's traffic, there's accidents. Somebody on the road holding up
- 8:41Speaker 3: things with.
- 8:42Speaker 1: A flat tie.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Its nails, its gravels, its spike, is everything. The road
- 8:47Speaker 3: to success is always under construction. It ain't getting ready
- 8:51Speaker 3: to be easy just because you done decided to do it.
- 8:54Speaker 3: But don't sit around on your behind and complain all
- 8:57Speaker 3: the time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man,
- 9:01Speaker 3: get up off your butt because you sitting on the
- 9:03Speaker 3: gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
- 9:06Speaker 3: You got something that you can do that could make
- 9:09Speaker 3: a way for you. But you won't do it. It
- 9:12Speaker 3: is within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste
- 9:16Speaker 3: the most time on the road to success, looking around
- 9:19Speaker 3: at somebody else trying to figure out, Man, how can
- 9:23Speaker 3: I do what they did?
- 9:24Speaker 2: Do what you do? You ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I got a couple of your homies told you you
- 9:32Speaker 3: rap better than him, but you not, jay Z, really
- 9:35Speaker 3: you not. You know, all of us can shot at him,
- 9:38Speaker 3: but we ain't rich a prior, A nice shot Steve,
- 9:42Speaker 3: Bernie del all of we took some great shots at it,
- 9:45Speaker 3: we not him.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Do what you can do. Do you do your.

- 10:17Speaker 3: popular choice.

- 10:22Speaker 2: not true. Is good on lift? Is good? I don't know.

- 14:37Speaker 11: Yes, I do?
- 14:38Speaker 2: Okay, Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at a check
- 14:41Speaker 2: that you.
- 14:42Speaker 11: Left us with the bank, right, right, I sure did.
- 14:45Speaker 11: I wrote a check Sunday.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Now the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Am I correct?
- 14:52Speaker 11: Right? Right? I wrote two checks for my ties and
- 14:54Speaker 11: the love offer. Right, I wrote one for two fifty
- 14:57Speaker 11: for the love offer.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:58Speaker 11: Now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me?
- 15:02Speaker 5: Well, what I wanted to tell you is that I
- 15:04Speaker 5: hate to be a very bad news, but your your
- 15:07Speaker 5: check that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced.
- 15:11Speaker 11: And wait a minute, you said my check bounce for
- 15:14Speaker 11: two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Your check bounce.

- 15:23Speaker 5: us thirty dollars in bank fees back.
- 15:26Speaker 11: Wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks. I wrote
- 15:28Speaker 11: a check for one hundred dollars. Did that one bounce?
- 15:31Speaker 5: I don't see to it that that that one bounce.
- 15:33Speaker 5: All I know is the one that the love offering
- 15:35Speaker 5: has bounced.
- 15:36Speaker 11: What did you put them in at the same time?
- 15:37Speaker 11: Because I wrote them at the same time.
- 15:39Speaker 5: They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now, I didn't
- 15:42Speaker 5: put them in at the same time. I've been putting
- 15:44Speaker 5: them in for the last two three years. The problem
- 15:46Speaker 5: is why would people write there, what is your name?
- 15:49Speaker 5: Brother Deshaun?
- 15:50Speaker 11: And you was at his Sunday?
- 15:51Speaker 2: I was. I don't think it matters.
- 15:53Speaker 5: And when I was there, ma'am, the problem is is
- 15:55Speaker 5: that I didn't put these checks in.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And I don't understand.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Why y'all write these checks to the check knowing that
- 16:00Speaker 5: they're gonna bounce.
- 16:01Speaker 11: Write these checks. There's a lot of people right, good, well,
- 16:04Speaker 11: not write bad check? One clear? Why the other one
- 16:07Speaker 11: didn't clear?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Maybe you didn't have enough money for both of them
- 16:09Speaker 2: to clear.
- 16:10Speaker 12: What did you just say?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Maybe you didn't have enough money in the bank for
- 16:15Speaker 5: both of them to clear. And I don't understand why
- 16:16Speaker 5: people write these.
- 16:17Speaker 11: Plenty money in the bank and all my checks clear.
- 16:20Speaker 11: I don't write no rubber checks.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Well, you wrote one on Sunday, and that's the problem.
- 16:25Speaker 5: How you gonna try to give a look us?
- 16:26Speaker 11: Wait a minute, I think you got me confused with
- 16:28Speaker 11: somebody else. I don't write no bad check. You done
- 16:31Speaker 11: wrote that to be nice to you.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm trying to be nice to you. Win up. Can
- 16:34Speaker 2: we expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars?
- 16:36Speaker 11: So we wait thirty dollars.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That's the bank fees, ma'am for the dollg gonna check bouncing.
- 16:41Speaker 11: My check didn't bounce. I'm gonna check my bank and
- 16:44Speaker 11: if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty dollars
- 16:47Speaker 11: for calling me harassing me about a two hundred and
- 16:49Speaker 11: fifty dollar check bounce.
- 16:51Speaker 6: I don't write no Why would you write check?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Well, you want to sit up in the church and
- 16:55Speaker 5: write these big number of checks when you.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Know you ain't got it in the bank.
- 16:58Speaker 12: What did you say?
- 17:00Speaker 2: I said, why would.
- 17:00Speaker 5: You write these checks when the money ain't in that

- 34:48Speaker 3: Hey, hey, hey, people finished he Hey, I take ten tenth.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Ain't ever been on the dog please, all right, I

- 35:47Speaker 10: out of youth sports.
- 35:49Speaker 1: We will tell you why after this.

- 36:04Speaker 10: sports by the age of thirteen. While kids want to
- 36:07Speaker 10: stay active, play and have fun with their friends, some
- 36:10Speaker 10: get burned out by the daily grind of practice and
- 36:13Speaker 10: seem to not care as much about winning and losing
- 36:16Speaker 10: once they get to be teenagers. So here's a question,
- 36:20Speaker 10: how do you guys deal with it and balance it
- 36:22Speaker 10: all out? Was there an age or a stage in
- 36:25Speaker 10: your life when you stopped playing sports.

- 36:38Speaker 13: You have no say it ain't over here. Yeah, go
- 36:41Speaker 13: to practice. We don't have time for this conversation.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 3: And that's how you supposed to treat them kids. They
- 36:46Speaker 3: drop out now because they saw These kids are sawt
- 36:50Speaker 3: They don't want to shining and get a see. Well,
- 36:52Speaker 3: if they don't get a participation, troph say, that's what
- 36:54Speaker 3: the problem is.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Giving our participation. We give our trophy the winners over here.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all they you win. That's I never grew up.
- 37:01Speaker 3: You didn't get to participations. Second, they ain't even talk.

- 37:23Speaker 3: I know we've been losing in first, high jump, discuss,
- 37:27Speaker 3: shot put, pole vault.
- 37:29Speaker 2: We ain't even got We had Lloyd Country.

- 54:09Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is go baby letta.
- 54:12Speaker 10: Thank you nephew. Subject Do I stay or move on?
- 54:15Speaker 10: To number five? Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty four years
- 54:18Speaker 10: old and I'm married to my third husband. I have
- 54:21Speaker 10: a tendency to get bored in relationships, so I was
- 54:25Speaker 10: really trying to make my marriage work. I get hit
- 54:28Speaker 10: on by men at least three times a week, and
- 54:31Speaker 10: I always have to flash my diamond ring, so men, no,
- 54:34Speaker 10: I'm taken. I guess it's my cute dimples and my
- 54:37Speaker 10: sweet voice. Each one of my husbands told me that
- 54:40Speaker 10: it's the baby talk that drove them crazy. Whatever it is,
- 54:44Speaker 10: I know I can always get a man, but my
- 54:47Speaker 10: current husband is boring and he's not into explicit videos
- 54:51Speaker 10: or role playing. We've only been married two years and
- 54:54Speaker 10: he's already stopped flipping me around when we're intimate. I
- 54:58Speaker 10: was telling my sister how plain our second and he
- 55:00Speaker 10: overheard me on the phone. He went off yelling and
- 55:04Speaker 10: screaming at me. He threw my past and up in
- 55:08Speaker 10: my face. He said that I'm in the I'm the
- 55:11Speaker 10: problem in all of my failed relationships. Because I want
- 55:14Speaker 10: to stay young and do things young women do. My
- 55:17Speaker 10: sisters heard everything that he said to me and told
- 55:20Speaker 10: me to get out of the house to clear my head.
- 55:23Speaker 10: I met her at a cafe and we had some drinks,
- 55:25Speaker 10: and then in walked the man of my dreams. He
- 55:30Speaker 10: had on a number five jersey, but he was not
- 55:32Speaker 10: playing no games at all.
- 55:34Speaker 2: That night.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He had me.
- 55:35Speaker 10: Twisted up all kinds of ways at his house and
- 55:38Speaker 10: he made me forget about my marriage. I call him
- 55:40Speaker 10: Number five and we've been messing around for like three months.
- 55:44Speaker 10: He wants me to leave my husband for him. My
- 55:47Speaker 10: husband never apologized for the way he talked to me,
- 55:49Speaker 10: so if we break up, it won't be my fault.
- 55:53Speaker 10: I feel like I should be single and just do
- 55:55Speaker 10: me for a while. Should I try to make this
- 55:57Speaker 10: third marriage work or move on to No?
- 56:00Speaker 2: Five?
- 56:02Speaker 10: Have you ever tried to make your marriage or any
- 56:06Speaker 10: of your marriages worked for that matter, Because it seems
- 56:09Speaker 10: like when the bad times come, when you get bored
- 56:11Speaker 10: and all that and bad times are going to come
- 56:13Speaker 10: into marriage.
- 56:13Speaker 1: We all know that you just you're ready to give
- 56:16Speaker 1: up and just move on. You quit.
- 56:19Speaker 10: That's really sad because if you're only around for the
- 56:22Speaker 10: good times. You're never going to be happy, never, because
- 56:25Speaker 10: that just isn't how marriage works. So here you are
- 56:28Speaker 10: ready to quit yet again. I love that you don't
- 56:32Speaker 10: even consider for a moment what your husband said might
- 56:36Speaker 10: be true. He said, you're the problem because you want
- 56:39Speaker 10: to stay young and do what young women do. Well,
- 56:41Speaker 10: what's going to be different with you if you divorce
- 56:44Speaker 10: husband number three and get with this guy you just met? Nothing,
- 56:48Speaker 10: If you don't put any effort into it, you'll just
- 56:51Speaker 10: get bored all over again. You said that you get
- 56:53Speaker 10: you have a tendency to get bored in relationships. I mean,
- 56:57Speaker 10: do you even love your husband? I don't even You
- 57:00Speaker 10: haven't mentioned that, not one time in this whole letter.
- 57:04Speaker 10: And what's gonna happen if you do leave him and
- 57:07Speaker 10: go for number five, the man who had you flipped around?
- 57:11Speaker 10: You know, after you met him for one night? How
- 57:13Speaker 10: long will it take you to get bored with him?
- 57:15Speaker 10: You can't leave a whole marriage based on a one
- 57:18Speaker 10: night stand. That's never gonna work, ma'am. It's just never
- 57:22Speaker 10: gonna work.
- 57:23Speaker 3: Steve, I didne wrote so many notes down right here? Yeah,
- 57:30Speaker 3: then they finished this up. I just I just have
- 57:33Speaker 3: so many things. That's I really don't need to read
- 57:35Speaker 3: this letter. But it's just nothing in this letter makes
- 57:39Speaker 3: any sense at all. You're fifty four years old and
- 57:42Speaker 3: marriage to my third husband. I have a tendency to
- 57:44Speaker 3: get bored in relationship. So I was really trying to
- 57:46Speaker 3: make my marriage work, Billy. And then right after that
- 57:50Speaker 3: statement right there, all that she negates everything. Right after this,
- 57:57Speaker 3: I was really trying to make my marriage work. Get
- 58:00Speaker 3: hit on by men at least three times a week,
- 58:02Speaker 3: and I have to flash my diamond rings. So me
- 58:04Speaker 3: and no, I'm taking no. See, the reason you get
- 58:07Speaker 3: hit on by men three times a week is because you.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Look like that. You look like that, you draw, listen
- 58:15Speaker 2: to me.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Whatever you put out is what comes back to you.
- 58:18Speaker 2: You put out, look at me, listen to me, see me,
- 58:21Speaker 2: watch me. And that's what men do. We hunters, So
- 58:24Speaker 2: we do you. We do see you, we do look
- 58:26Speaker 2: at you. We do won't you? That ain't nothing new.
- 58:30Speaker 2: If if all the women.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Acted the way you act, they could all get hit
- 58:35Speaker 3: on three times a week.
- 58:36Speaker 2: But you married, though, where are you? Where you always
- 58:41Speaker 2: getting hit on three times a week?
- 58:43Speaker 6: All?
- 58:43Speaker 3: Right, here we go, I guess it's my cute dimples
- 58:46Speaker 3: and my sweet voice that could be part of it.
- 58:50Speaker 3: That could be Each one of my husbands told me
- 58:53Speaker 3: that this the baby talk that drove them crazy.
- 58:56Speaker 2: That's the listening for somebody. David.
- 59:00Speaker 3: Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, that baby talk. Glib'm crazy,
- 59:03Speaker 3: but that baby talk. Don't keep them. Don't do it,
- 59:06Speaker 3: cause see how do we do all this baby talking?
- 59:08Speaker 3: We gotta do some grown folks stuff. Hey, we got
- 59:10Speaker 3: pity bills up in here. Hey, we need to save
- 59:13Speaker 3: some money. You know, but you got you got at
- 59:17Speaker 3: one point in time, you got. You gotta move on,
- 59:20Speaker 3: all right? Anyway? I know I can always get a man,
- 59:23Speaker 3: Yes you can, but you can't keep one. You are
- 59:27Speaker 3: on husband number three at fifty four. Getting a man
- 59:32Speaker 3: is one thing, Keeping them is another. Now you can
- 59:34Speaker 3: make mistakes and pick the wrong man.
- 59:36Speaker 2: I gotten that.
- 59:38Speaker 3: But damn, all you talking about is you get bored
- 59:42Speaker 3: in your relationship.
- 59:44Speaker 2: All relationships hit the boring point.
- 59:46Speaker 3: They all get you, all get all getting regular after
- 59:49Speaker 3: while all of them do ain't.
- 59:53Speaker 6: No.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Watch, so man, my marriage is just feel with excitement
- 59:55Speaker 2: the whole time. No, it's not.
- 59:57Speaker 3: There's days when you be sitting there going wild but
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: now I want to get boring for you. You think
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: you I can always get him in, but you can't
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: keep oning. My current husband is boring and he's not
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: into explicit videos of role play.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: No, I won't do that. Explicit videos and role.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Play what you want to play? I don't want to
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: be a pirate tonight. I don't want to wear a patch.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: I don't want to parent in the bedroom tonight.
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: All right, all right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:30Speaker 10: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject do I stay
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: or move on? To number five? We'll get back into
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: it right after this.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's crazy Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: The subject is do I move or do I stay?
- 1:00:49Speaker 10: Or move on to number five?
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Look, lady been married three times, she's fifty four years old.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: She's complaining that all her relationships get boring. And you
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: know she says that, uh, she get hit on three
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: times a week by men. She had to flash her
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: diamond rings so men know she taken. But see, they
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: wouldn't know you was available if you weren't acting a
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: certain way, then you like that, so now you wanna
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: flash your ring. It's the way you acting this drawing.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: I'm telling you, you attract what you put out. That's
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: what you're doing. Whatever it is. I know I can
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: always get a man.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Oh that's cool. Most women can.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: He's keeping them. That's the problem. See, a lot of
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: women can go out here. Most women can go out
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: here and get a man today. Keeping them that's another problem.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: But my current husband is born. He's not into explicit
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: videos or role player.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: He ain't into that. He don't like that.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Okay, And we've only been married two years and now
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: here we go and he's already stopped flipping me around
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: when we are intimate, so he didn't already stopped flipping
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: you around. I was telling my sister how playing our
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: sex is. You know why he stopped flipping you around?
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Cause when he flip you around, he know what he
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: gonna get. You know what, lady, you ain't all you
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: think you are. Maybe all this flipping so where you
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: got to have, Maybe it ain't that good. Maybe you
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: need to work on some more stable moves, because flipping
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: ain't your thing no more. You're fifty four, have you
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: ever thought about why he stopped flipping. Maybe you don't
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: flip the same no more. Most some O bios. When
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: she get fifty four, she ain't gonna be flipped like
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: this no more. And she a professional flipper. But I
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: can bet you when some O bios turned fifty four,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: she ain't gonna be flipped like that no more.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Not he it Cooma, Nacha. She ain't in the Olympics
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: no more.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Not here coming, che.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Come and Chi coming Nachia. You can call him what
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: you wanna call it, but you ain't gonna call her
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: no damn Ja. You get all this stuff you don't know.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Nobody flipped at fifty four like they used to. He
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: overheard me on the phone. He went off yelling, screaming
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: at me, and he threw the past in my face.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: He said, your problem is all your fair relationships. Because
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: I want to stay young and do things young women do,
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: but you can't do it no more. Young women like
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: to get flipped, but they good at flipping. See flipping
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: your old ass night.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: It's different.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Flip you one time, you help go out ship you
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: one time, then you get a Charlie has tried to
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: flip your last week you hit your two folk against
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: the head. Boy, Now you complain and stuff tied to
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: flipping you. I want to stay young and do things
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: that young women do. You fifty four, you can do
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: some things, you just can't do them the same way.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: My sister heard everything he said and told me to
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: get out the house, clear my head. I met her
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: at a cafe and we had some drinks, and then
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: in walked the man of my dream. He had on
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: the number five jersey.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: I be damn.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Reggie Bush walked in, Charles White walk in. These are
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: all the number fives our lives. Yeah, but it was
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: not playing no games at all that night. So you
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: just saw him one time. Now you're at his house.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: He had me twisted up all kinds of ways in
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: his house, and he made me forget about my marriage.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Wow, just like that one night, Stale.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: I call him number five and we've been messing around
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: for like three months. He wants me to leave my
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: husband for him.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: My husband never apologize for the way he talked to me,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: so if we break up, it won't be my fault. Okay, okay,
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: I see this coming. I see this coming. I feel
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: like I should be single.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: And just do me for a while. You gonna be single.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Don't worry. You ain't got to wish. Don't worry about it.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: That's coming.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Should I try to make this third marriage work or
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: move on the number five? I strongly suggest you move
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: on the number five. You've been at number five house
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: for three months now, So what you're writing us for?
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Should you move on? You're over that and now you're
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: probably texting on the way to the house now. You
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: ain't gonna be able to keep number five either, because
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: number five gonna get tired.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Of flipping you.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Because relationships have to be about molding flipping, and when
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: you get into real relationship, it turns into what the
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: relationship is, how we have a relationship together in all things,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: not just flipping. Do you know you spend the most
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: of your time in your life not having sex? Do
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: you know that the majority of your hours will be
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: spent not having sex?
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: I believe that. Please undertake And lady, I got something.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: Tell you.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Your husband's right, it's you. The problem is you and
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: you ain't learned a damn thing.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Yeah, staying young is great, but at one point you
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: have to mature because you are changing as a person.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Any people that don't change as they get older. You are,
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: You are dealing with a fool. You ain't gonna ever
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: have nothing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: You know what breaks you up? What attracts you to me?
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: And is your baby talk? You know what make them leave?
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Your baby waves because you was a silly little simple
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: like that. Say that again, that was good.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: You can attract them with your baby talk. Makes them
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: leave is your baby waves, so you can keep on
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: with your little got Hey baby, American Express, it's gonna
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: close the card? How the one to close the Yeah, well,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: we gotta make a payment. Oh, on payment, I want
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: you to flip me. Hey, hey, hey, hey, American Express

- 1:08:16Speaker 8: Adrian Griffin, the head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks was fired.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Man, and this was so crazy. He had a thirty
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and thirteen record, and he got the record. He's second,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: He's second in the East. He's second in the East.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: He had thirty thirty or record?
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Who got the best record?
- 1:08:32Speaker 11: Uh?
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I think it's Philly.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: They second.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: But the whole point of but he had thirty thirteen record.
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: He got fired, and now they're talking to Doc Rippons Man,
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: Doc Rivers, he in negotiating right now on back.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Yeah, to be the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: They said that Griff coach.
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: That's and you know what they said that Adrian Griffin
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: wouldn't get along with the players the coaches. He felt
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: like they were undermining them. And man, you know you
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: you don't want to fight and got tired of him.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: That's what that is.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: But they were from third in defense all the way
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: down to twenty second. But that's cause they got rid
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: of Drew Holliday. Yeah, and replaced him with Damon. Now
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Dame got the Dame got game. But he ain't finna
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: lock nobody up. He shoot, no, no, no, no, nah.
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: You know so Doc Rivers gonna be back in there. Man,
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: I like Doc for this issue. But you know what,
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: he's another interesting story. Cam McCormick. Cam McCormick plays for
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: the University of Miami and he's going back to play
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: his ninth college football season. And I don't know how
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: you do this, but he's going back for the ninth
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: his ninth college football season.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: He damn near thirty and going back out here.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: I can't tell you how he did that.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: Though he had the same GPA I had when I
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: left college after three years. I had eighteen credits. You
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: need one hundred and twenty five to get a degree.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: I had eighteen credits after three years.
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: But he going back out here and he played tight end.
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: He's going back out here for his ninth un president
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: college football season. Congratulations, Kale got it. He got his bachelor,
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: he got his masters. So uh, I don't by the
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: time he yeah, he gonna be able to operate on hisself.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Himself. All right, Thank you, Junior. Coming up at the
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: top of the hour, Steve a man and social media
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: does need your advice?
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: Steve on Uh.
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: He says his cuffing season partner wants his dog. We'll
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: You're listening morning show.
- 1:10:33Speaker 10: Patrick and Steve Harvey FM writes, Uh, Steve, cuffing season
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: is officially over. We all know it's between October and
- 1:10:41Speaker 10: mid January. He says, I was seeing a girl and
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: we both knew going in that it was a temporary deal.
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: We got along great, everything was cool. She even helped
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: me pick out a dog that I wanted. It seems
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: that she got quite attached to him. His name is
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: black Jack the dog. Blackjack the dog, Uh more so
- 1:11:00Speaker 10: than me, apparently now because she spends so much time
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: bonding with him, she thinks he's hers, even though I
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: signed all the paperwork, I'm feeding him and he lives
- 1:11:09Speaker 10: in my apartment with me. It's clear she's going to
- 1:11:12Speaker 10: make a big deal about this and has even threatened
- 1:11:15Speaker 10: legal action. Judge Steve, how is she going to sue
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: me over my dog? Blackjack? I have no idea what
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: she thinks her legal basis is. Can she really figure
- 1:11:25Speaker 10: out a way to take my dog or is there
- 1:11:27Speaker 10: something else going on here that I'm not seeing?
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you're missing a dog. This is gonna lead to
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: a much more damaging play for you. If you don't
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: give her the dog, She's going to be fiel this
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: relationship on Facebook.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, everything's some black mass.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: That's what this is all about. It ain't her dog.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Is sher dog? You see disagreement. You y'all had this
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: temporary agreement. She mading season. See, and I don't know
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: what cuff and season you think in in October?
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: He begins in October and ends in January.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I know I've never heard that before, but h hell,
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: have no fury like a woman scorn. So now you're
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: gonna just cut her off. Now, she want the damn dog. Now,
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: if you don't give her the dog, there will be
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: no legal action. The legal action gonna play out on
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: social media. Wow, that's what's gonna happen.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: Dog.
- 1:12:22Speaker 11: No, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: I'm just saying there's no legal rights she had. He
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: paid for the dog, he feeds the dog, the paperworkers
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: and the dog and the dog lived with him. Because
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: y'alls cuffing. You can't get the dog for cuffing. But
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: she wants something for cuffing. You understand that dog. I
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: rather cuff than have a damn dog.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Ye, Well that's you. You know, people get attached to
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: their pets, and Blackjack.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: Is probably Blackjack ass ain't worth it. I'm gonna just
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: tell you that, october Ante.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a short term relationship.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: You going in, right, but you see you the woman
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: goes in.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Women always say that, but once they get emotionally attached,
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: then they expected to They wanted She wanted it to
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: turn into something else. She agreed that it was gonna
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: be temporary, but that is't how she played it. So
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: now she thene tied herself to the damn dog named
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: black Jack.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Black Jack. Yeah, she's catching feelings.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Your frusted fooling around with black Jack.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: That's black Jack who he wanted to be with. Damn
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: that because black Jack don't go with her. I don't
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: I ask that damn dog.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: So yeah, all right?
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: Moving on Steve to Chris on Facebook, he says, about
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: a year ago, my best friend was in a tough
- 1:13:52Speaker 10: spot financially and I lent him a significant amount of
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: money to help him out. He promised to pay me
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: back in a few months. But it's been over year
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: now and he hasn't mentioned it since. Every time I
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: think about bringing it up, I worry it might ruin
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: our friendship. Should I just forget about the money and
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: keep the peace, or is there a way to ask
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: for it without.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Causing drama.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: If that money breaks up your friendship, you didn't really
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: have a friendship. If he's your friend, you should be
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: able to go in and say, hey, man, I know
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: you was in a tough spot a few months. I
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: find myself to be in a tough spot now, and
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: if you could let me have that money back, it
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: would really help me out, and then you'll find out
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: whether you have a friendship or not. That's how I
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: would do it. I say, hey, bro, I know you
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: was in a tough spot a little time ago. You
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: said you'd pay me back in a few months, and
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: I just let it go. But now, Bro, I'm kind
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: of in a tough spot myself.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: And forgot our loan.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I have to ask the loan for his money back.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: Which I'll want to say he ain't forgot nothing. He
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: knowed that, But he's also playing on you friendship in
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: your kindness. Now, what you got to do is first
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: the situation taking me for granted, all right, then and
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: then see what kind of friend you got?
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, Steve.
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:13Speaker 10: up at twenty minutes after the hour right after this.
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: You're listening hard Morning Show. This story is kind of crazy.
- 1:15:22Speaker 10: It's about some insects. You guys know what cicadas are, right,
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: those kind of funny looking frog looking at bugs anyway,
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: like well, their eyes are real big and they kind
- 1:15:35Speaker 10: of bug out.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: So that's that's not you know what. No, I didn't
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: say that, but I'm mery frogs.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you're teetering on it, all right, here we go.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Here got them my eyes on this show.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I've grown into my eyes. Thank you.
- 1:15:57Speaker 10: Billions of cicadas from two different broods are set to
- 1:16:00Speaker 10: emerge from underground in the US this year to mate
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: for the first time in two hundred and twenty one years.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: This is according to scientists.
- 1:16:09Speaker 10: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Oklahoma, Indiana, Iowa, Virginia, Illinois, Wisconsin,
- 1:16:19Speaker 10: and possibly Michigan could be affected. These bugs are not
- 1:16:23Speaker 10: harmful to humans. However, they do make a very distinct noise.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: You don't understay. Listen, you don't understay.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: If that's true what they say, Yeah, they say, lord,
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: lord Lord. If they come, you gonna thank your ass
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: in Egypt.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: They're good fishing by you, fishing bank.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Wow, I'll sca it, I'll scy it, all right. Beware
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: of the cicadas. They're coming also.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Coming years and no really show about that.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty three minutes, we'll play around it.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Would you rather right after this.
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: You're listening.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Morning show, it's time now for a round him?

- 1:17:11Speaker 10: over again? Or would you rather do college all over again?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: College?
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: Uh? Huh?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: And I do it there exact same way I did.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: Changes exactly.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:17:33Speaker 10: Would you rather always be itchy? Or would you rather
- 1:17:36Speaker 10: always be sweaty?
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: I can't do it, so that ain't a really good option.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: You want to either see if you sweaty, you're gonna
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: look like you stink, and if you itch you scratch.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: It like you stink the same. But which one would
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: you rather?
- 1:18:00Speaker 10: Is?
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: She is sherw I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: sweaty and that is yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, sweat you just stand and digging on yourself.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Yeah you sweating? Okay.
- 1:18:16Speaker 10: Would you rather be rich and famous with a sixty
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: chance of not making it to your eighty or be
- 1:18:23Speaker 10: poor but live a long and healthy life and die
- 1:18:27Speaker 10: at one hundred and five?
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: And man, no, no rich headed day rich at one
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: hundred and five? God no, I don't want you, no,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: see just giggs.

- 1:18:49Speaker 10: be poor but live a long and healthy life and
- 1:18:51Speaker 10: die at one hundred and five.

- 1:19:21Speaker 2: as it'll be, way quicker now I know how to
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: do it.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: Okay, all right?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Last one?
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: Would you rather divorce your spouse who you caught cheating
- 1:19:30Speaker 10: or cheat on them to get even?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm the boat. You gonna do.

- 1:22:24Speaker 3: was taking forty he's prior biz how.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Many square an acre? I don't know the exact number.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you riting now.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Damn, but I ain't know. I ain't know if you
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: had sixteen hundred of them, that's a lot of acres.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Three thousand, five hundred and sixty square feet. So I
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: knew it was something like that. Forty two eight thousand,
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: that's one acre, and you got how many acres?
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Sixteen own a town?
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Sixteen hundred acres?
- 1:23:00Speaker 12: What is that?
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: That's that God I served? That's that Come Jesus and
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: living God, did I serve?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Give him all the preyse boy?
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: You can't, hey man, let me tell you a story
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: about acres, students. What made me started wrowing acres is
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: when I was homeless, and this is my clothesing remarks too.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: When I was homeless and I used to fish, I
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: would stop and I would see a nice pond.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: I'd get out and I start fishing.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: I had a lead line where if I could catch
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: more than one or two bass, I'd put him on
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: the lead line and stick it down in there. Had
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: a chain up where I could catch fishing hook him up,
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: and sometimes I'd be pulling them off the water and
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: the owner would come by and say, hey, hey, hey,
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: you can I ain't allowed to fish around here, And
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: I said, okay, sorry, sir, and I take them out,
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: and he say hey and put them fish back, and
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: by law I was wrong, so I'd have to take
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: the fish off the hook. I'd get in my car
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: sometime and tears was running down my face. I said, man,
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I was hungry. This dude don't even know. There wasn't
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: no need explaining that. So I told God, I said, God,
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: I want to first thing I'm gonna do. When I'm
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: gonna get me some money, I'm gonna buy me some land.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: So I just started doing a little research. And back
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: then it was about six billion people in the world
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: when I was out there struggling, forty six billion people,
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: and I.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Read a thing.
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: I looked it up that on this earth, Earth has
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: over thirty six billion acres of land.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: This is a true story. I cannot make this up.
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: And at the time, it was about six billion people,
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: back when I first got enough money to buy some land.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: So I figured, I figured, if it's six billion people
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: and there's a little over thirty six billion acres of
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: land on Earth.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Each, if each person should have six acres.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: Because it's six billion people had six acres, that would
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: be thirty six billion acres.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: So I asked God to give me my six.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: The very first time I went to buy some land,
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: I was standing on some land in Texas.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: The very first land I saw I wanted to buy.
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: It had a lake at the foot of it, which
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: meant I could fish on my lake catch fishing. Couldn't
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: nobody put me off? That was my whole ambition in life.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: So I was just about to buy it, and I
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: asked the man that was selling it to me. I said, man,
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: how much is this piece of land right here? And
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: he was selling it for two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: He said that's six acres. I said, Lord, have mercy,
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: that's the exact number I had asked God for.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: I told the man.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: I said, well, I don't have two hundred and fifty thousand,
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: but tomorrow, if you let me bring you twenty five
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: thousand dollars, and in six months, I'll pay you the rest.
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: And if I don't, we draw up a contract where
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: you can get your back and keep the money. He said,
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: I take that deal. I was getting ready to leave.
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: A man came along and said, I heard you about
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: to buy this land over here. I want to show
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: you something. So he took me to my ranch that
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: I owned in Texas. He said, let me show you
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: this piece of land.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: He showed it to me.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: It's beautiful, had two lakes on it. I said, how
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: much is this, sir? I can't afford this? He said,
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: I sell it to you for the same thing you
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: was gonna buy that six acres for. I said, how
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: many acres? He said, it's sixteen the first piece of
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: land I ever bought. God gave me sixteen acres for
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Let's keep the car. I now own sixteen hundred acres.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: That's the God. Want to do it.
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: Exceedingly and abundantly over all you can think, are asked.
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: That's the God I serve. I'm a living witness of
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: how powerful, good and good God is, so when they
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: talking about me, I could care less. I served the
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: true and living God. Y'all can miss me with all
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: that that's in my closing remarks today. Hope you didn't
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: take it as bragg and I was willing for all.
