- 2:14Speaker 4: How many times I got to say that before I

- 2:21Speaker 4: I gotta be real with you, because boy, that's Steve Harvey.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Got a radio show man. Clear indication of how God
- 2:30Speaker 4: can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he
- 2:35Speaker 4: leads your life in directions that you never ever saw coming.
- 2:39Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:42Speaker 4: were talking about how man, they were young, and they
- 2:44Speaker 4: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:47Speaker 4: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:53Speaker 4: help help form who they were today as an adult.
- 2:56Speaker 4: This guy is fifty years old. And you know the
- 2:59Speaker 4: same thing for you. If you look back on your
- 3:02Speaker 4: life and all of the things that you've done, it
- 3:05Speaker 4: helped shape you into who you are now. This is
- 3:09Speaker 4: provided now that you take the positive approach. Now, when
- 3:13Speaker 4: I say look back at your life and see what
- 3:15Speaker 4: you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:20Speaker 4: because the misfortunate moments were necessary.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I know it.
- 3:23Speaker 4: It's hard to see that when it's happening to you,
- 3:26Speaker 4: but the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really
- 3:31Speaker 4: makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 4: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach is when
- 3:39Speaker 4: it's cold.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Is rain in our side.
- 3:41Speaker 4: What really makes you appreciate when you're up, it's because
- 3:46Speaker 4: you've been down. See if you were up all the time,
- 3:51Speaker 4: just the nature of us as human beings, we would
- 3:53Speaker 4: lose our appreciation for it because it becomes case hurrah,
- 3:57Speaker 4: whatever it is, Well, it is what it is. I'm
- 4:00Speaker 4: just what you take it for granted, it becomes expected.
- 4:04Speaker 4: But what happens in life is it has so many
- 4:07Speaker 4: twisting turns, and then you learn how to deal with
- 4:10Speaker 4: those twisting turns, which makes you now a more experienced person.
- 4:14Speaker 4: And then when the sunny days come, man, you go,
- 4:16Speaker 4: wil it's really nice outside. You really want to appreciate
- 4:20Speaker 4: how warm weather. Just stay in a bunch of cold
- 4:22Speaker 4: weather all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I'm just this is really simpler now loud the analogies,
- 4:28Speaker 4: but it helps you along the way. Now here's what
- 4:31Speaker 4: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:35Speaker 4: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:38Speaker 4: you what it's done for me, but a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 4: people are struggling with moving forward with their future. Their
- 4:46Speaker 4: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:53Speaker 4: their future dreams, just simply that your future wants a
- 4:58Speaker 4: lot of people trying to have have a hard time
- 5:01Speaker 4: mapping out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what
- 5:04Speaker 4: I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make, how I'm or
- 5:08Speaker 4: go about it?
- 5:09Speaker 2: What do I do next? I want to share something.
- 5:12Speaker 4: With you that I had to come to terms with
- 5:14Speaker 4: the quickest way to lose focus on your future is
- 5:19Speaker 4: to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:22Speaker 2: You know, It's like I said at the beginning.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You know, when I say It's wonderful to look at
- 5:26Speaker 4: your life and review it, because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 4: it'll tell you it really helped shape inform you today
- 5:34Speaker 4: as the person you are now. If you look at
- 5:37Speaker 4: it in a positive sense. But if you dwell in
- 5:40Speaker 4: harp on the negative that's happened to you, then that
- 5:44Speaker 4: keeps you from seeing the good in the incident. Every
- 5:47Speaker 4: bad thing that's happened to you, that was a silver
- 5:50Speaker 4: lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I know people who were on.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Drugs who finally, man, just got sent to prison for
- 5:57Speaker 4: stealing because of their habit. I don't cat dope. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 4: he went to prison, he told me one time, he
- 6:04Speaker 4: says Steve. He said, man, this is the best thing
- 6:06Speaker 4: ever happened to me to save my life. Now, most
- 6:09Speaker 4: people would think, how in the world is going to
- 6:12Speaker 4: prison helpful for you? The brother said, it's saved my life.
- 6:17Speaker 4: First of all, it got me clean. He said, I've
- 6:19Speaker 4: been clean for five years from sitting in here. That's
- 6:23Speaker 4: for starters. I'm clean. I ain't stealing no more. I
- 6:26Speaker 4: ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He said.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Now, man, I done went to college. I don'et got
- 6:33Speaker 4: a college degree while I'm in here. Then he was
- 6:37Speaker 4: released from prison, and the brother's life was completely turned around.
- 6:41Speaker 4: He married, he got a family, he got a great job.
- 6:45Speaker 4: He go to work every day. He's a productive citizen.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 4: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 4: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 4: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 4: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 4: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 4: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 4: a purpose for the missteps.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Every time you fail, there was a reason for the failure.
- 7:20Speaker 4: See what I had to do was I had to
- 7:22Speaker 4: learn that all of my failures taught me how to
- 7:25Speaker 4: get back up. So I became a very strong and
- 7:28Speaker 4: tough person in getting back up. And then I was
- 7:32Speaker 4: down and out so long that it taught me how
- 7:35Speaker 4: to really appreciate it up. And so I've taken all
- 7:39Speaker 4: of that and used it those experiences that happened to me,
- 7:43Speaker 4: and I became a more experienced person. So next time
- 7:47Speaker 4: when people talk about me who don't know me. It
- 7:50Speaker 4: don't shake me, cause everybody not gonna like you. Man,
- 7:54Speaker 4: you might as well go and get on this train
- 7:55Speaker 4: right now. And so what I'm saying to you out
- 7:58Speaker 4: there is theekest way to lose focus on your future
- 8:02Speaker 4: is to keep focusing on your past. Let it go.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, he left. Sometimes the breakup is the blessing.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I know it's hard to break up because now you're
- 8:12Speaker 4: loaneling you by yourself. But man, but weren't you in
- 8:15Speaker 4: misery when you was in that? Weren't you in complete
- 8:19Speaker 4: misery in that? Now you kept asking God to fix it.
- 8:23Speaker 4: But it takes two people to fix a relationship. It
- 8:25Speaker 4: don't just take one. It take two to make a
- 8:28Speaker 4: thing go right. It take two to make it out
- 8:32Speaker 4: of sight. You really do have to have two people
- 8:35Speaker 4: wanting a relationship to work. It can't just be one
- 8:38Speaker 4: person want a relationship, so you can pray about the
- 8:40Speaker 4: relationship all you want. If the other person don't want
- 8:44Speaker 4: you no more and ain't gonna act right, you can't
- 8:46Speaker 4: make him do that or you can't make her do that.
- 8:49Speaker 4: But you steady asking God for a new relationship. But
- 8:54Speaker 4: you are yet to be grateful that you are in
- 8:58Speaker 4: a position to have a relationship. And you keep harping
- 9:01Speaker 4: on the past. You don't think you hear that. I'm
- 9:03Speaker 4: just a dude with a show and I hear it
- 9:05Speaker 4: all the time. Let it go go forward.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's over.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You made it, He bought you through it, you conquered,
- 9:14Speaker 4: you survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and
- 9:18Speaker 4: making it the cross around your neck when clearly he
- 9:22Speaker 4: had removed it for you. Now all you got to
- 9:25Speaker 4: do is come on. So if you sit behind them walls,
- 9:28Speaker 4: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man,
- 9:32Speaker 4: you just got to get it right. All this repeat
- 9:35Speaker 4: of fender business, that's for?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Who is that for?
- 9:38Speaker 4: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 9:41Speaker 4: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 9:45Speaker 4: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 9:48Speaker 4: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 9:50Speaker 4: a job? Are you serious?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all, let
- 9:55Speaker 2: it go.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's move here. Listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Ladies, gentlemen, welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, reminding you.
- 10:13Speaker 2: To get your tooled up. Start your day with gratitude.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Tell him how much you appreciate all he's done. Thank
- 10:22Speaker 4: him when it's going right for you, thank him when
- 10:24Speaker 4: it's going not so right. That will in turn change
- 10:29Speaker 4: your attitude, which will then allow you to understand that
- 10:32Speaker 4: no matter what is going on, is still a blessing
- 10:36Speaker 4: that it is going on.
- 10:38Speaker 2: And once you made that adjustment, your.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Altitude is tied to that and the sky is the limit.
- 10:47Speaker 2: That's what happens when you get your two together.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Steve Harvey Morning Show starring Shirley Strawberry calling for Real
- 10:53Speaker 4: the Mouth of the South Monica Junior. Yeah, that's better man.
- 10:58Speaker 4: You know you want to say kill space can see
- 11:00Speaker 4: that on me? Sign it might throw you, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Me junior, what's on your mind? Man?
- 11:07Speaker 9: Let me just sign up about your bathing routine.
- 11:11Speaker 10: I swear to God and people need to know this
- 11:13Speaker 10: that you have a yeah, because what I just find
- 11:17Speaker 10: out about stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 9: I just want to know, when did you come to
- 11:20Speaker 9: this conclusion that you can't use the little.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Towns well, I mean, you know, you gotta understand, as
- 11:25Speaker 4: a big man how to bathe properly. A lot of
- 11:29Speaker 4: people never take your time. I learned this from my daddy.
- 11:33Speaker 4: My daddy used to take his baths with a handtaiel.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Not a washcloth, but a handtail, the one that's slightly longer, yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 4: a little wider, but definitely not a washcloth, because my
- 11:45Speaker 4: daddy said how he gonna wash his back. Now I
- 11:49Speaker 4: realized this as a young man, and when a young man.
- 11:52Speaker 4: When I was a little boy, I didn't care how
- 11:54Speaker 4: I washed my back because I didn't really care about washing.
- 11:56Speaker 2: It at all. So why would I.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Want to get back and washing when clearly can't nobody
- 12:02Speaker 4: to see back there.
- 12:03Speaker 2: So I don't even know why we got.
- 12:04Speaker 4: To worry about the playing on my back.
- 12:08Speaker 2: So as a little boy, I didn't see it.
- 12:10Speaker 4: But as I grew older, I started to learn, and
- 12:14Speaker 4: so I started taking baths with a handtie like my
- 12:18Speaker 4: daddy and my shower, and that's what I used to
- 12:20Speaker 4: this day. Well, I went down to my ranch and
- 12:25Speaker 4: my assistant, Megan, bought toils for the ranch. It did
- 12:29Speaker 4: not buy any handtoiels, and I was forced to, after.
- 12:33Speaker 2: All these years, use a regular washcloth.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Now, when you haven't used a washcloth, a regular washcloth
- 12:42Speaker 4: is very small to you. And as I was using it,
- 12:45Speaker 4: I didn't realize how small it was. And I was showering,
- 12:50Speaker 4: I was soaping up, and I was just using you
- 12:52Speaker 4: got it almost use it with just two fingers, you know,
- 12:54Speaker 4: and then dextringing and fing next to you got to
- 12:57Speaker 4: go in the circle emotions like you're putting much massage
- 13:00Speaker 4: on your face. And I messed around and with washing
- 13:03Speaker 4: my butt, and I all of a sudden I just.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Lost the washcloth.
- 13:06Speaker 4: We were just going, I ain't have it no more
- 13:09Speaker 4: than we're all, oh gee, what washclall back? And so
- 13:12Speaker 4: when I wished off, I found it. And that's that's
- 13:15Speaker 4: a very dangerous thing I found.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And when I felt all right, thank you for that,
- 13:20Speaker 1: I think, all right, lady.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Found it because the next day that that dried up
- 13:28Speaker 4: soap with burned who walk around.

- 19:17Speaker 13: people and y'all just get a war out and that's
- 19:20Speaker 13: that's how easy it is.

- 19:44Speaker 13: what more does not tell me anything.
- 19:46Speaker 12: Mister Jenny. I'm here to let you know that I

- 20:08Speaker 13: Not so we're talking to the other people. Don't talk

- 20:58Speaker 13: I'm telling us.
- 20:59Speaker 12: Say me Gina, Regina Regina. This is nephew tied me
- 21:03Speaker 12: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your girlfriend Canvas got
- 21:08Speaker 12: me the prank phone call two.
- 21:11Speaker 11: I'm gonna kick that.
- 21:14Speaker 12: Hey, I got something to answer, Baby.
- 21:15Speaker 7: Tell me this.
- 21:16Speaker 12: What's the baddest radio show in the land.
- 21:19Speaker 13: The baddest radio show is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Thank you for coming up next. It is as the COLO,
- 21:27Speaker 1: our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building
- 21:30Speaker 1: and he's waiting and ready for your love questions. Right
- 21:33Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space until now,
- 21:48Speaker 4: introduce it the Handai Ionic nine, a three row electric
- 21:53Speaker 4: suv with over three hundred miles of rage, ultra fast
- 21:57Speaker 4: charging capability, and lots of space.
- 21:59Speaker 15: Go all Hondai Ionic nine pace in an EV. Visit
- 22:03Speaker 15: Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated rings
- 22:06Speaker 15: for owning land based on fully charged batteries for comparison
- 22:09Speaker 15: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 22:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, all right, Leah in New Jersey writes, I
- 22:22Speaker 1: was dating a guy that was separated but had not
- 22:25Speaker 1: gotten a divorce. His wife accused me of being a
- 22:28Speaker 1: home wrecker. But when I met her husband, he had
- 22:31Speaker 1: his own apartment and he was honest about everything. She
- 22:34Speaker 1: blames their separation on me. Why do some women have
- 22:38Speaker 1: misplaced anger in these situations?
- 22:41Speaker 4: Well, you gotta blame somebody, And she figured, if you
- 22:44Speaker 4: want this dating you, the one that calls the reff
- 22:47Speaker 4: that's an automatic.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Didn't how many times that didn't have that? Ain't nothing new?
- 22:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Why do women have displaced saying it's displaced to you?
- 22:57Speaker 2: She thinks she'd nailed me. Why you think it ain't you?
- 23:01Speaker 4: You know, but when you met him, you had his
- 23:05Speaker 4: apartment and that's probably true. But she gonna blame somebody
- 23:10Speaker 4: the moment. This is all the evidence she got. She
- 23:12Speaker 4: don't know is her, She don't know as her, she
- 23:16Speaker 4: don't know as him, So she don't found a reason,
- 23:19Speaker 4: and it's you, and it's really not you. It probably
- 23:22Speaker 4: not even her. It's probably just a shortcoming in him.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Why do women always try to find another reason other
- 23:31Speaker 4: than they pick choice of men?
- 23:34Speaker 2: That makes it the cause and effect. Sometimes you just
- 23:37Speaker 2: picked the wrong man. That's all. Ain't a big deal.
- 23:40Speaker 2: You can get it right, all right.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Moving on to Tandra in Phoenix, Tandra says, I've been
- 23:46Speaker 1: dating a man for eight months and I've only been
- 23:49Speaker 1: to his house once. He lives an hour away from me,
- 23:51Speaker 1: and he comes to visit me, or we meet up
- 23:54Speaker 1: in the middle. He facetimes me from his house. So
- 23:58Speaker 1: I don't think he lives with anyone. Is there a
- 24:01Speaker 1: reason he doesn't invite me to his home? What's up
- 24:03Speaker 1: with him?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he got other things happening. Yeah, like what I
- 24:09Speaker 2: don't know.
- 24:09Speaker 4: I don't know if it's a pedans in there. But
- 24:15Speaker 4: you're not coming on. You've been over there one time.
- 24:17Speaker 4: That was a close call. You can't come back over here.
- 24:20Speaker 4: That's all to it, y'all meeting halfway in all this here,
- 24:23Speaker 4: you don't never come out there. So you know, come
- 24:26Speaker 4: on now, use your intuition. Whatever your intuition is telling you,
- 24:29Speaker 4: that's probably what it is.
- 24:31Speaker 2: So what part of the house is he in?
- 24:33Speaker 4: God, he is close to the balcony wherever close close
- 24:41Speaker 4: to it the way he can step out any second.
- 24:43Speaker 4: So if you see movement in the kitchen or something.
- 24:48Speaker 4: He ain't in no clothes, He ain't in the den
- 24:51Speaker 4: where it ain't no out. No, he got he got
- 24:54Speaker 4: to be able to step out real quick.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a strategic and I mean, tell him to
- 25:00Speaker 2: take a tour.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Let him tell him you want to see his apartment
- 25:03Speaker 4: on tour, Tell me to FaceTime you tour. Then you
- 25:05Speaker 4: see all the stuff in that crib in the corner.
- 25:07Speaker 1: You know it's hot in Phoenix. Now it's hot in Phoenix.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Little swing set over the dividing into you know, open refrigerator.
- 25:19Speaker 3: What is all that.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Similar in the house? All right?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Moving on to U Katina in Chicago. Katina writes, my
- 25:29Speaker 1: husband and I went to a graduation party for his knee.
- 25:32Speaker 1: One of his exes was at the party, and I
- 25:34Speaker 1: had a conflict with her recently because she d MD
- 25:37Speaker 1: my husband and he showed it to me. She apologized
- 25:40Speaker 1: after I called her out on it, and my husband
- 25:43Speaker 1: is upset because I didn't speak to her. Do I
- 25:45Speaker 1: have to be nice to her?
- 25:47Speaker 12: No?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Not really. I don't really know how you gonna be nice.
- 25:52Speaker 4: No, you ain't got it. You know, you confronted her,
- 25:54Speaker 4: she apologized. Now he wants you to be nice.
- 25:57Speaker 2: That's his that's his world.
- 25:58Speaker 4: You ain't got to be in that didn't pick her,
- 26:00Speaker 4: he picked her. You didn't ex her, he xd her.
- 26:04Speaker 4: So now if we access, let's be excess.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm speak to your ex. You don't. You don't speak
- 26:10Speaker 1: to your ex? Well, what I don't?
- 26:14Speaker 2: What are we talking about?
- 26:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's just a common courtesy.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I wanted to be an ex so we could stop talking.
- 26:25Speaker 3: That was your goal.
- 26:26Speaker 4: That was one of the key key That was one
- 26:30Speaker 4: of the key developmental parts of this breakup.
- 26:35Speaker 2: How can I not talk to this person no more?
- 26:39Speaker 2: I don't got to hear this. Thank you. I don't
- 26:43Speaker 2: care what you think. That's fine. Whatever you think, that's fine.
- 26:46Speaker 2: What is we talking about?
- 26:47Speaker 13: Why?
- 26:48Speaker 2: What are we talking about?
- 26:49Speaker 12: You?
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's not like you moved away. You still got to exist,
- 26:52Speaker 1: live in the same world. You might run in world,
- 26:55Speaker 1: live in the world.
- 26:56Speaker 4: You ain't finish stay over here, though. I hope I
- 27:00Speaker 4: do run into you, and then what I must be
- 27:04Speaker 4: tatty because I.
- 27:04Speaker 12: Ain't to you.
- 27:05Speaker 14: I look good.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I'm not saying nothing. Encourage Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 4: If I do see you, wow, Okay, give me some
- 27:18Speaker 4: places I could see and let me tell you what I.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Did well, like at the grocery store.
- 27:23Speaker 16: In the problem, I lost my apptise Starbucks, never eat again, Starbucks.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I like, I like, I like.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I like a Dunky donut coffee.
- 27:39Speaker 15: Some time.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I run it into him like that, you said, my running.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I got it. Oh you was talking about what the
- 27:44Speaker 2: car on the freeway.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we're moving on with these killers.
- 27:53Speaker 2: We're moving on all right.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Last one, Steve Marie and Grand Prairie says, I work
- 27:58Speaker 1: with the lady that smells like bacon grease every day.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It's in her wigs and her clothes and her work bag.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I am embarrassed for her, because.
- 28:09Speaker 11: She says.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Marie says, I'm embarrassed for her because our coworkers call
- 28:13Speaker 1: her a grease ball. There are only four blacks at
- 28:16Speaker 1: our job. So I don't like this at all. Should
- 28:20Speaker 1: I get out of my comfort zone and tell her
- 28:23Speaker 1: that she smells that? I mean, you know that's what
- 28:26Speaker 1: Marie wants to know.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Oh, you could just bring eggs and toast workers have
- 28:32Speaker 2: a meal. Well, that way, she would just smell like breakfast.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I want to say, baker. She loved bacon. She and
- 28:43Speaker 2: that cooking bacon. But you might have to I don't
- 28:47Speaker 2: know if you all are close enough for that.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like it. She just says, I work
- 28:53Speaker 1: with a lady. They're just both black women at the
- 28:56Speaker 1: same job.
- 28:58Speaker 2: You know, a week smell a Greek so maybe she
- 29:01Speaker 2: got a studio apartment.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all wig. Wig though that bothers me. Is
- 29:09Speaker 1: your wigs not like Greek?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Well, at least you know the probably love it.
- 29:15Speaker 4: At least the quality of wig and the words of
- 29:18Speaker 4: Ricky Smiley he dated a girl wig was so country,
- 29:22Speaker 4: it was so crunchy that it felt like a easter
- 29:26Speaker 4: basket grass.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I heard Ricky Smiley say that.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Like easter basket grass. I remember that grass like green grass.

- 30:50Speaker 17: people to get in the car and ride, and it
- 30:52Speaker 17: would sound something like this.
- 30:56Speaker 4: What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna react. React. What
- 31:00Speaker 4: is it like when six grown people who work together
- 31:04Speaker 4: take a road trip?

- 56:49Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject She's too phony and bony now.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for four years to
- 56:56Speaker 1: the love of my life. When we met, she had
- 56:59Speaker 1: just had a handsome baby boy, and we bonded over
- 57:02Speaker 1: us being both being heartbroken. I was engaged to a
- 57:06Speaker 1: self centered woman before I met my wife, and two
- 57:09Speaker 1: weeks before our wedding, she ghosted me. My wife had
- 57:12Speaker 1: been dating a man for a long time, and when
- 57:15Speaker 1: she got pregnant, he ghosted her. We were two damaged
- 57:18Speaker 1: friends that became lovers. I have raised her son as
- 57:22Speaker 1: my own and loved her through her weight challenges. I
- 57:25Speaker 1: know she was bigger when we met because she just
- 57:28Speaker 1: had a baby. I knew she was bigger because she
- 57:31Speaker 1: just had a baby when she was still overweight. A
- 57:33Speaker 1: year later, we started eating healthier and I encouraged her
- 57:37Speaker 1: to lose weight. We got a trainer and she went
- 57:41Speaker 1: and got a breast reduction. When the weight came off,
- 57:44Speaker 1: she got a lot of new clothes, and she let
- 57:46Speaker 1: her hair grow, and she got a perm. It was
- 57:49Speaker 1: like her attitude changed overnight, and she was very upity.
- 57:53Speaker 1: All of a sudden, I suggested she ease up on
- 57:56Speaker 1: working out because she lost all of her curves, started
- 58:00Speaker 1: hanging out with her trainer and the trainer's friends, who
- 58:03Speaker 1: are all skinny, single airheads that drink a lot and
- 58:08Speaker 1: like to be in the streets. My wife started wearing
- 58:11Speaker 1: emerald contacts and she wants some kind of cosmetic procedure
- 58:14Speaker 1: on her chin. Our son will be five in two months,
- 58:18Speaker 1: and she wants to rent a venue for his party
- 58:20Speaker 1: because she said my house is not adequate enough. She
- 58:23Speaker 1: puts her tiny little butt in lingerie before sex, and
- 58:27Speaker 1: her moan sounds so phony, like we're in a poor
- 58:30Speaker 1: not I can't keep up with a new woman she
- 58:33Speaker 1: has become, and I hope she doesn't tell me that
- 58:35Speaker 1: I'm not enough for her. How do I get my juicy,
- 58:38Speaker 1: down to earth wife back. Well, honestly, I don't think
- 58:43Speaker 1: that's going to happen. I don't think you're going to
- 58:45Speaker 1: get her back, I think. And the problem is you're
- 58:49Speaker 1: afraid that you can't keep up with this new woman
- 58:51Speaker 1: she has become. And I think she's gone for good.
- 58:55Speaker 1: And you just basically told us why because she's changed
- 58:58Speaker 1: on the outside, said she got a breast reduction, she
- 59:02Speaker 1: lost dollar curve, she's wearing Emerald contacts now. But I
- 59:06Speaker 1: really think it's the inside change that's bothering you the most,
- 59:09Speaker 1: because she has new friends now. She hangs out with
- 59:12Speaker 1: her trainer and his people. They like to drink and
- 59:15Speaker 1: they're from the street.
- 59:17Speaker 7: You say.
- 59:18Speaker 1: And although you were very supportive in the beginning, you
- 59:21Speaker 1: know about her weight loss and all of that getting
- 59:24Speaker 1: a trainer and all of that eating healthier. That broken
- 59:27Speaker 1: girl that you bonded with a few years back, that
- 59:31Speaker 1: girl is no longer interested in being a good wife
- 59:34Speaker 1: at seems she's trying to live her best life right
- 59:36Speaker 1: now after conquering her weight issues. And this is who
- 59:40Speaker 1: she really is. You need to get used to this.
- 59:42Speaker 1: This is who this person really is. She's skinny now,
- 59:45Speaker 1: all of that. She You know, she got her priorities
- 59:50Speaker 1: mixed up. They're all out of order now because she's
- 59:53Speaker 1: trying to find herself and she's losing you. I mean,
- 59:57Speaker 1: doesn't she realize that she could have it both a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: good family, a good marriage, She could have a good life,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and she could still have a good toned body, And
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: all of a sudden, your house isn't good enough for
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a five year old's birthday party. I mean, the five
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: year old doesn't care about that. He just wants to
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: party with his little friends. I say, you got to
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: talk to her. It might be too late, but you know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: youve got to try to reason with her because I
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: think it's not over until it's over. I mean, I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: can't speak on her fake moaning because if she is
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: faking it, that may be the real reason she's checked out.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I mean, that's what's got you so scared. You got
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: to try and sit down and figure this whole situation
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: out with her. But I do think part of her
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: is gone for good. You'll never get that back, Steve.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Okay, look, you all bonded out of a mutual hurt,
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: but I think the relationship started in a genuine fashion
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: seems like.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Now when you all had this baby and she was
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: still over weight a year later. Now, let's talk about
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: this for a second. That's that baby weight.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: It's hard to get rid of it, really, really is.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: I hear a lot of women talk about the struggles
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: of baby weight, and you got to understand that there
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: are women that's dealing with baby weight thirteen years afterwards.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: I mean, you know, and who am I?
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Who am I to say that she'd have gotten rid
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: of it by now, because I look at my stomach
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: and I think I should have gotten rid of it
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: by now, But it don't go away like I wanted to.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: So this is a weight issue. This whole thing is
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: about weight and attitude. This whole thing.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Y'all started eating healthier, and you encourage her to lose weight.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: She got a trainer, she went and got a breast reduction.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: So she just started taking everything down. I'm gonna take
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: this weight down and get rid of these breasts. You know,
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: all this health the weight came off, she bought a
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: lot of new clothes, she let her have growing, she
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: got a parent. Now I'm just really basing on these
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: new changes that you're telling me. I just want to
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: deal with what was it we was dealing with Originally?
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: There you go, because you done cut everything. So it
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: just makes me when the weight she got a breast reduction, Yeah,
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: when the weight came, or she got.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: A lot of new clothes and she let her hair
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: grow and got a perm. Lord Jesus, what was going
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: on before?
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: So before the breast reduction, before the weight loss, before
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: she grew her hair, and before the perm and before
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: the emerald eye contacts.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Oh, Lord Jesus, who was you staying with?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Don't forget the emerald context.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I said that just now right here we go.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: When we come back, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: response at twenty three minutes after the hour. You definitely
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: don't want to miss it. Today's Strawberry letter subject is
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: she's too phony and bony. Now we'll get back into
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listenings Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hi,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: this is Shirley Strawberry and I'm partnering with the leave.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Let me tell you it couldn't have come at a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: better time. I'm owe some furniture around last weekend in
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: my new place. It turns out that was a really
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: bad idea because all that bending and lifting and pretending
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I'm still twenty five didn't agree with my knees. So
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I grabbed a leaf because when my body pain shows up,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I need something that lasts. With just one pill, a
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: leave lasts up to twelve hours. Don't let those aches
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and pain hold you back from doing what's important to you.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Use as directed. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is she's too phony and bony.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Now, well, this was a letter about a man and
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: woman who met who had mutual pain, but they were
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: there for each other, and both of them got ghosted.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: One after this she got pregnant.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: The other one, the guy got ghosted two weeks before
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: his wed and they met each other. They were friends.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: They two damaged friends that became lovers, was his description.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: You've raised her son like your own. You've loved her
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: through her weight challenges. Now, you said in the letter,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: I knew she was bigger when we met because she
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: just had a baby when she was still overweight a
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: year later. Then y'all started eating healthy, and you encourage
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: her to lose a weight. I'm assuming we started because
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: you was kind of, you know, big boy yourself a
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: little bit.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Then got a trainer, when now here was the problem.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: I have to I'm listening to everything she's done, and
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: I want to just see what were we dealing with
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: before all this?
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: So these is the change.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: She got a trainer and got a breast reduction, so
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: that's the first thing she got. Because then you said
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: when the weight came or she got really new cloth.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: So she got the breast reduction done first. That was
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: probably so she could do the workouts. What I don't know,
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: That's what I'm thinking. They stolen this letter right here
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: if I was an ignorant person reading this letter, and
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: I do have a tendency to be ignorant at times.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: She was overweighted. A year later, we started eating healthy. God,
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: we got a trainer, she went and got a breast reduction.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: I'm assuming that these.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Exercises with without the breast reduction was a bit much.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: She was getting hit in the mouth a lot, you know,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: maybe even.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: Jumped and knocked herself out, you know, Uh, couldn't couldn't
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: see the flow, you know, doing the little letter drills
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: on the floe and couldn't see the flow.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Caught the breast line.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: It was in the way.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: I don't know what, but to do these exercises, she
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: had to get this breast reduce. Then when the weight
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: come off, she got a lot of clothes. Then she
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: let her hair grow and got a perm. So before
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: this it wasn't no hand and it wasn't no perm.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: I'm just basing this on that. Then her attitude changed
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: and she started off wearing emerald contacts. You gotta be
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: careful with the emerald contact because they got to match
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: your skin toe. You just can't want green eyes and
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: be any shade. Now, some of this we bought a line.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Scary now and we're looking like children at the coin
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: and stuff like this.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Now, you you know, like really really.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Fair complexing people can't get mraal eyes and real dog
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: people can't get mraal eyes. You can't go on the street.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: You gotta be somewhere in the middle. You gotta be
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: like a different color to get them eyes. Then you
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: said she wanted some kind of cosmetic surgery on her
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: chin or her chin was probably.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Damaged from her breast.
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: You know, overt out of this gold hand in hand
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: in this letter right here, I'm not gonna be able
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: to help this couple out.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: I can see that right now. So let's just find
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: the joy out of this letter.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Because after this breast reduction, notch he for the first
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: time she's seeing her chin. Now she got to get
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: something done because them breakfast all up under her throat.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: She had her cleavage started. Her cleavage was so big
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: some people thought she had a cleft in her chin.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: It was actually her breast.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: So now once she got that cleavage reduced, she found
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: out it wasn't a cleft in her chin. Then the
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: sun gonna be five in two months, and she want
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: to rent a venue because the house ain't adequate enough
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: for the five year old party, because she want a
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: flex in front of her little skinny.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Friends and train of friends.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Then then she puts on a little tiny butt in
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: lingeripe before sex and her moon sounds so funny, like
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: we are a poorto and you just can't keep up
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: with this woman. She to come and hope she don't
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: tell me that I'm not enough for her? How do
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: I get my juicy down to earth wife back? She
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: could be gone with all this chin worth weight reduction
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: and then took the breast off. You just can't go
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: packing that back home. But we're gonna have to start though.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: The only way we're gonna get big Juicy back is
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: we got to start with food. I got to get
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: these calies up. This I can help you with. I
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: can't help you with losing weight, but I can show
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: no how to pack it.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: The bread.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Bread is very important, and not just bread alone. But
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: you gotta put something on the bread. It's gotta be
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: the butter or jam, stuff like that. You don't just
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: eat the bread by itself. But we got to get
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: big Juicy back.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: That's what you want.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: You want big juicy down to earth. And she was
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: down to earth because she couldn't get off the earth,
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: you understand. So big people is gonna be more ground
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: dead because they are very rarely ever a born. So
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: there you're gonna have these moments like this here. So
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: to get big Juice it back, we got to start
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: with bread. We need to go to the grocery store
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: and buy that big bag of potatoes, the one you
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: ain't bought in a while. That's paper, but it's got
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: the little messh on the front so you can see
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: that there is potatoes. You need to go down there
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: at the bottom row. They are the bottom row of
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: that isle and get that big bag of rice.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: The one that that that you can't hold in one hand. Yeah,
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: it's on the bottom rope.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: It's the big bags is on the bottom rope, right
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: all right, Liten, she gets that chi in done, She
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: get that chin done, You ain't gonna be talk to her.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey on Instagram and Facebook.

- 1:10:24Speaker 1: me tell you it couldn't have come at a better time.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I'm owe some furniture around last weekend in my new place.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: It turns out that was a really bad idea because
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: all that bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: five didn't agree with my knees. So I grabbed a
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: leaf because when my body pain shows up, I need
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: something that lasts. With just one pill, a lead lasts
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: up to twelve hours. Don't let those aches and pains
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: hold you back from doing what's important to you. Use
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: as directed. All right, So this was a question guys
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: from Facebook. It says, Hey, Steve Tommy Junior, my homeboy
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: took his girlfriend friend on vacation because they were beefing
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and thought they needed a get away. They both were
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: tripping and still arguing, so while on vacation, they decided
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to break up on the last stay there. The flight
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: home was tough, but they said, ultimately it's for the
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: best man. I'd be mad if I had to spend
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: three grand to figure out we needed to break up.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: So here's a question.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Here's a question for you guys. Here's a question. Did
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: you ever break up on your vacation with your boob?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Or did you stay and fly home early? If you did,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: that's the question I actually did.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: I did you broke on a cruise ship?
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Yes, happened.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: It all just came to a rocky end. It was bad.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I don't know how we stayed in that cabin two
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: extra days.
- 1:11:53Speaker 15: It was just bad and by the time we do,
- 1:11:56Speaker 15: matter of fact, call it doc back in New Orleans
- 1:11:59Speaker 15: man to take something.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I was broke, didn't have no money, but I was
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: though with pop.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: God, were you guys having problems before you went on
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: the cruise like this guy and so you thought the
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: cruise might you know we was having problems, get away
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: might make it better.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Before we met thing like we was having problem. Not Yeah,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about this.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: This is like some.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Ragged and memory lane as.
- 1:12:30Speaker 10: No, I ain't never did anything like that. First of all,
- 1:12:32Speaker 10: only beef I'm eating is on the plane. You can't
- 1:12:34Speaker 10: be beef before we go. I never did anything like this.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Come on, see if I here to tell you that
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: I've gone on several vacations, Yes, sir, and wanted to
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: break up this soda vacation, wanted to break up on
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: the vacation, stayed and went on some more vacation till
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: finally he's talking about he would be mad if he
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: spent three thousand h I've lost millions in bad vacations
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: and breakup. So no, son, Sometimes you try to save it.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: You try to go out there and you know, maybe
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: this we get some time away alone. But that's the
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: best way to find out if you really belong with somebody.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: Go somewhere where there's no distractions.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: It's just you and him.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Marjorie and I have a running joke we knew we
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: were meant to be each other when we went to
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: Bora Bora because Bora Bora has nothing to do. Bora
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: bora is a Latin word that means boring, boring, And.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Boy, let me tell you something.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: That's a good way to find out if you belong
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: to think if you can pay three thousand to get
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: out and learn that information, money well spent.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, wow about lesson?
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: All right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: All right, so Steve, this is from Quinn in Norfolk.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Quinn says, I was sitting in my car smoking weed
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: with a guy from work. My husband found a small
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: part of the joint in my car that evening after
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he filled up my tank for me. He told me
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: that he found the weed in my car and he
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: was very upset with our teenage son after assuming it
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: was our son's weed. He yelled at our son, but
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: he kept denying it that it was his. He kept
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: denying that it was his, and I can't allow my
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: son to be punished from my mistake. How do I
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: tell my husband that I picked up a new habit
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: at the age of forty five.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you something. How stupid is your husband?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Your wife smoked weed.
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: You can't smell it in her clothes, She in the car,
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: nobody at work smoking weed with a do Now. I
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: don't know why you think this weed smoking going, but
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: it is mo the weed smoking. But you're in the
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: car smoking weed, and the people at the job don't
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: know it, and your husband don't know it. But now
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: when you tell it, here's a strong suggestion you leave
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: the part out about you was.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: In the car with your male co worker smoking weed.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: I strongly suggest you leave that part out because I
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: can promise you it ain't finna be about the weed,
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: no at all. Okay, that's just a suggestion. And you
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: can't let your son take the hit for this tuck.
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: You gotta say it. Well, but she gotta go straighten
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: that out.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, how's she going to do that though? Because he's
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: he already listen to.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: Me, it wasn't him. I was smoking weed in the car.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: He can't whip you. You can't put your own person.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: Just tell him I was smoking weed in the cars
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: having long day and I smoked weed. Then tell him
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: you gotta plug and give him the number.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Did you say?
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: Did you say in.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: A huge herminology, you know what I'm saying, Oh, smoke
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: weed and everybody.
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: No do.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: All right, So we have time for another one. This
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: one's from Lawrence and Dothan H. Laurence says, I consider
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: myself a decent looking man, but I lost my girlfriend
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: to a guy with a receding hairline and a big stomach.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: He looked like he looks like he's in the sixties,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: and he doesn't have a great job or a nice car.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I'm the total package, and I can get another woman
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: today if I wanted one.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: But I want her.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I want my girlfriend back, and I don't know why
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: she left me for that guy. All she told me
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: is that we're not compatible. How can a man do
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: that to another man? Should I check him or not?
- 1:16:52Speaker 12: He?
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: First of all, you need to we need to go
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: back read the opening statement you said.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Should Okay, I consider myself a decent looking man, but stop.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Right there, stop right there. You need to face a
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: couple of facts. What you not as good looking as
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: you think you are?
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: See, you gave yourself you said, I consider myself a
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: decent looking man. Decent, decent, ain't no description of nobody.
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: Hey man, how she looks?
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: She decent?
- 1:17:27Speaker 12: What?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Decent?
- 1:17:29Speaker 13: Now?
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: I'm not where we could? I don't want I don't
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: want decent?
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: Hey man?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Can you cook?
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: Can you not an adequate word to describe nothing? Hey man,
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: we're gonna go on the road trip.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: You know how you can?
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: You drive good?
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: I'm decent, decent, We're definitely going here. You kill my
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: in this car. Decent.
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: You get on the ad plane, you asked the problem, sir,
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: how long have you been flying? Well, I'm decent, decent,
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: I'm gonna get off this light. Decent is not a
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: good way to describe anything.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: You said.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: You a decent looking man. Let's just start with you
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: probably ain't even cute. You probably ain't even good looking
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: at all.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Well, Steve should have just gone.
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: Now this man that you date, that's got a receiving
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: headline and a big stomach?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: What's his initials to his name?
- 1:18:24Speaker 12: What?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Because if you tell me it's k S, then I

- 1:21:58Speaker 1: quit all logging phone.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: Questions right here? You're gonna be doing that.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Obviously you have a problem with one.
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: Or both, you know, Yeah, yeah, because I don't know
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: how to look up hair stuff I need anyway, I
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: ain't real text savage, So hell, go ahead.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: So you're going to give up your call call log
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: on your phone?
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:22:24Speaker 18: Okay, wait, so you don't no phone, I'm giving up
- 1:22:30Speaker 18: the browsing browsers.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: You want to keep your phone, You want to keep.
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: Your You know, I got way too much going on.
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: I got my phone program. When I die, it's gonna.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: Say, And I ain't really got no names with no
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: codes in it either, so you know exactly who the
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: hell out?
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Because I be the forgot who to hell the hold?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: But wait, let's not miss this moment though, What, nephew,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: when you die.

- 1:23:04Speaker 3: Girl?
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: Matter of fact, I want my phone As a.

- 1:23:10Speaker 4: just give me your phone, right, your phone, your uncle man?
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: All right, let me get a sick on the glass
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: of Kanye can sit down and go through it.

- 1:23:26Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Here's one. Would you rather be in a bad relationship
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: a bad relationship for the rest of your life?
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Excuse me say it again?
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Would you rather be in a bad relationship for the
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: rest of your life? Or would you rather be single forever?
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: B B B B.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I thought you what would be?
- 1:23:49Speaker 19: You're not miserable bad relations but you're still You'll still

- 1:23:59Speaker 13: You want to?
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: You see the show?
- 1:24:05Speaker 12: All all right?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: All thes be different? Steve? Is that drake? You and

- 1:24:25Speaker 1: That's today's roundup? Would you rather coming up? It is
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey's closing remarks.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:41Speaker 10: Everybody, it's your favorite cousin junior.
- 1:24:42Speaker 9: You know what, I love having cookouts in the summertime,
- 1:24:45Speaker 9: but it is so expensive.
- 1:24:47Speaker 10: But have you heard about what Sam's Club?
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: Is doing though with locked in Summer Value until July

- 1:25:00Speaker 9: because locked in Summer Value can help you save on
- 1:25:02Speaker 9: all the things you need to have a great summer.

- 1:25:07Speaker 9: Go sign up for a membership and join SAMs Club
- 1:25:09Speaker 9: today at samsclub dot com slash join.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for the last break
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: of the day. That's where we are, and of course
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: on the last break we let Steve close out the
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: show with his remarks. Go ahead, Steve, you know.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: What, I just want to say something encouraging to people,
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: because so many people out there, you know, I look
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: at Instagram and I watch people, and I listen to people,
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: and I get so many calls now and so many
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: tech business and so many things. I run up into
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: people that say, hey, man, we really look up to you, Jess.
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Yesterday I got off a plane and young man says, sir,
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: excuse me, I just want you to know we look
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: up to you. Thank you man for saying so many
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: things you say, and you know that really mattered to me.
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: And as I've gotten older, I've started to understand more
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: and more my position and my mission in life, and
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: part of it is to be encouraging and informative for
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: those that still trying to find their way, because I
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: know what it's like to not know your way. I
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: know what it's like to feel the frustration of wanting
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: something to happen and nothing seems to happen. But all
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: those times that I felt like nothing was seeming to
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: be happening, it was actually going down at that very moment.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: It actually was.
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: It just takes experienced time and age to look back
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: on it and see exactly what was happening to you
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: was in preparation of what was going to happen to
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: you later on.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: And so it became imperative that you understood.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: That the things that happen in your past are in
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: direct correlation with where you want it to be today.
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: And I wanted to do these closing remarks to encourage
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: people that there is a process that all of us
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: are in a process, and I have to remind myself
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: of that oftentimes. Also, how many times have I set
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: a goal for myself without asking God to give me
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: the proper guidance in that goal and direction, because when
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: I ask God for something, he usually does it in
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: a way that I didn't even see how, or I
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: didn't even think of. I give you an example. I
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: put something on my vision board about six years ago maybe,
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: and when it's involving a franchise, I'll just leave it
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: at that. And that's what I said, Man, I'd love
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: to have a franchise like this. I loved to have
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: a few of these. Well, that was my goal, and
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: I put it on my vision board. Years later, I
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: actually ended up doing a benefit for the franchise. Then
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: I actually formed a relationship with the guy that owns
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: the franchise, and I started using some of his facilities
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: to do something else that God had wanted me to
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: do that I didn't know. I'm being very vague because
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: I just don't want to give up the story, the name,
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: but just understand what I'm saying. All I wanted was
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: a franchise. What God intended for me to be was
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: something different. And so then eventually I ended up owning
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: something of the franchise, but it wasn't a franchise.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: It's the craziest thing.
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: Now, All of this happened because later on in life,
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: I stopped worrying about what I wanted and I started
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: asking God to show me what he wanted from me.
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: And even though I was in the right direction, I
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: wasn't thinking big enough, and what God ended up giving
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: me was far bigger than what I had wanted. The
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: lesson I learned is the lesson I'm trying to tell
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: you about today. You can have your dreams and aspirations
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: as you should, but open yourself up to the will
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: of God so you could see what God got for you.
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: Because I am telling you, man, you can't out plan God.
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: You came out thinking, and you shown came out doing so.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: While you on Instagram flexing and fronting and acting like
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: you this and acting like you this, why don't you
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: go to God in honesty and tell him the truth. Hey,
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: you know what, God, I'm really a little bit broken
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: right now. I'm really been going through some things and
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: I'm struggling, and Hey God, I just wanted to te
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: I tell you, man, just between me and you, when
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: I ain't flexing and I ain't fronting, I'm actually confused.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: I need some understanding I need your wisdom. I need
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: your guidance, man, because I'm tired of being confusing, but
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: I'm acting like I'm okay. I need some help. You
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: know something, y'all gonna tell y'all something. Prayer works, man,
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: Prayer really does work. Prayer change is things, but prayer
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: change people too. Think about that for a minute. Think
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: of all the ways you try to project yourself, but
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: then the reality of it is. Man, I've had to
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: slow myself down so many times and say, God, make
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: me the man you want me to be. Come on, Man,
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: just make me who you want me to be. This
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: idea I have for myself, I could be selling it short.
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: This idea that I have for myself may not be
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: in your will. This idea I have for you for
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: myself may not be in your timing. I'm just asking you, God,
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: if you could just step ahead from me, Man, just
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: help me out. I'm tired. I'm tired of getting it wrong.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: I'm tired of perpetrating. I'm tired of flexing. I'm tired
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: of acting like I'm something that i'm not. I'm tired
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: of showing people the good side so they'll think I'm
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: just fine. I'm really hurting over here. I really need
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: some help. I'm just coming to you straight up and
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: just saying, hey, could you fix me? Because I don't
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: know how. The first the first idea of solving a
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: problem is the first admitting that you have for y'all
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: think about that today. Okay, those are my closing remarks.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: Hope that help somebody today. Y'all have a great day. Hey, listen,
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: don't forget talk to God. He would love to hear
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: from God for real.
