Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senter, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and Senator It is a very big week for
- 0:08Speaker 2: putting out books that are full of crap.
- 0:10Speaker 3: It truly is stunning. So Jake Tapper from CNN has
- 0:15Speaker 3: a book along with Alex Thompson from Axios. The book
- 0:19Speaker 3: is entitled Original Sin. President Biden's Decline, its cover up,
- 0:24Speaker 3: and his disastrous choice to run again. And when you
- 0:28Speaker 3: talk about full of crap, I really don't think you're
- 0:31Speaker 3: being fair to crap like this is This is like
- 0:35Speaker 3: a book Arsonist discovers a fire he started. This is
- 0:40Speaker 3: like a book Tony Montana, the drug dealer says cocaine
- 0:44Speaker 3: is bad for you. Like, yes, Jake, there was a
- 0:48Speaker 3: cover up, an absolute, complete, total cover up. It was knowing,
- 0:54Speaker 3: it was deliberate, and you did it. You, Jake Tapper
- 0:59Speaker 3: and CNNA, we're twenty four to seven, engage in the
- 1:03Speaker 3: cover up. You knew about his mental decline, and you
- 1:06Speaker 3: refuse to tell anybody.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It's shocking just how bad it was. And by the way,
- 1:12Speaker 2: we have the receipts just to remind people.
- 1:14Speaker 4: You know, you're going to hear the proof momentarily.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're gonna get to that because I want
- 1:19Speaker 2: everyone and this is why we do the show. This
- 1:21Speaker 2: is why we do this podcast. You're gonna want to
- 1:24Speaker 2: share this on social media because it's so big, But
- 1:27Speaker 2: first I want to talk to you about starting my day.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I do it every morning with an amazing cup of
- 1:32Speaker 2: Crockett coffee. If you want unbelievable coffee every morning, then

- 2:13Speaker 2: of coffee, do not order Crockett Coffee. There is also
- 2:18Speaker 2: one other thing I love. It is owned by great conservatives,
- 2:21Speaker 2: fellow patriots, Buck Sexton and Klay Travis. They came up
- 2:26Speaker 2: with this idea and they're two guys that never sell out.
- 2:30Speaker 2: So if you're ready to have a great cup of coffee,
- 2:33Speaker 2: then choose between the fresh ground, the whole bean or
- 2:36Speaker 2: the CA cups. And if you're instead of mushroom coffee
- 2:38Speaker 2: and the positive benefits that come with that, you can
- 2:41Speaker 2: also check that out at Crockett Coffee. Now, I want
- 2:43Speaker 2: to save you some money right now, go online to
- 2:46Speaker 2: Crocketcoffee dot Com. Use my name Ben. You're gonna get

- 3:03Speaker 1: go man.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I love supporting great conservatives who are willing to go
- 3:07Speaker 2: out there and start new businesses for conservatives just like you.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Crockettcoffee dot Com promo code Ben gets you twenty percent
- 3:14Speaker 2: off your first order.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Try it right now.
- 3:17Speaker 2: All right, So let's go back to this lie that
- 3:21Speaker 2: I think the part that boys in mind. The most
- 3:23Speaker 2: is the fact that Taper is actually probably gonna get
- 3:25Speaker 2: a best seller out of this. Everyone in the media
- 3:28Speaker 2: is praising him for this incredible reporting. And this is
- 3:31Speaker 2: the guy that literally helped cover up the cognitive decline
- 3:34Speaker 2: and dismissed anyone who brought it up on a show.
- 3:37Speaker 3: So look, the book, as I understand it was originally
- 3:40Speaker 3: written by Alex Thompson. Alex Thompson is not nearly as
- 3:42Speaker 3: well known as Jake Tapper, yep, And he had a
- 3:44Speaker 3: contract with the book publishing company. He wrote the book,
- 3:47Speaker 3: and then the book publishing company decided to cancel it
- 3:50Speaker 3: and said, no, we're not going to publish this book
- 3:52Speaker 3: after all. In other words, the book publishing company engaged
- 3:55Speaker 3: in yet another cover up because they didn't want anyone
- 3:57Speaker 3: to know. And so Thompson sought out Tapper and convinced Tapper, hey,
- 4:01Speaker 3: join with me. You're a big famous guy. They'll publish
- 4:03Speaker 3: it if your name's on it. And Tapper said yes.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And I gotta say so, there are lots.
- 4:09Speaker 1: OF's never got a crisis waste, right.
- 4:11Speaker 3: That's looking particularly a chance to make some good money.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I mean, hey, what's journalism all about if not monetizing
- 4:18Speaker 3: your own hypocrisy and your own cover up. Look, Tapper,
- 4:21Speaker 3: some of the facts that are coming out in this book.
- 4:23Speaker 3: In twenty twenty three and twenty twenty four, Tapper and
- 4:25Speaker 3: Thompson report Biden's physical deterioration was so severe that his
- 4:31Speaker 3: advisers discussed the possibility he would need to use a
- 4:35Speaker 3: wheelchair if he won reelection. That's that's how bad it was.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And yet every time anyone tried to bring up those facts,
- 4:46Speaker 3: Jake Tapper and the rest of the corporate media covered
- 4:49Speaker 3: it up. But don't take my word for it. Listen
- 4:51Speaker 3: to Jake Tapper in his own words. This is a
- 4:54Speaker 3: collection of Tapper over the years.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And this goes back to twenty twenty.
- 4:57Speaker 2: The very beginning is him talking to one of the
- 5:00Speaker 2: Trump family members, Laura Trump, and he actually like ends
- 5:03Speaker 2: the interview like, you can't even say this on my show.
- 5:07Speaker 3: So this this montage starts in twenty twenty, then goes
- 5:10Speaker 3: to twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, and then twenty four.
- 5:13Speaker 4: All throughout.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Listen, Tapper for five years covered this up aggressively.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Give a listen, how do.
- 5:19Speaker 5: You think it makes little kids with stutters feel when
- 5:21Speaker 5: they see you make a comment.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Like that, it's very clearly a cognitive decline.
- 5:26Speaker 6: That's what I'm referring to. It makes me uncomfortable.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You are no view of age, can't It's so amazing.
- 5:32Speaker 5: It's so amazing to me that trying to figure out
- 5:35Speaker 5: an answer cognitive Declineative Biden embraces his stutter talking about it,
- 5:39Speaker 5: while Trump, mock said, exaggerates it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Belittle zip.
- 5:42Speaker 7: He's sharp physically, I mean mentally, yeah, I think the
- 5:45Speaker 7: question is physically right right or so right right? And
- 5:48Speaker 7: the guy who's his chief opponent is only three or
- 5:50Speaker 7: four years younger than him, maybe, I mean, you have
- 5:52Speaker 7: questioned President Biden's age, mental fit, and fitness ability to lead.
- 5:55Speaker 7: Of those supporting Biden, you said, quote, shame on all
- 5:57Speaker 7: of you pretending everything is okay. You're leading us him
- 6:00Speaker 7: into a disaster. Do you worry that you damaged him
- 6:02Speaker 7: at all? I don't doubt that.
- 6:04Speaker 5: You got hugs and handshakes behind closed doors today and
- 6:08Speaker 5: maybe even publicly, some of them because they like you personally.
- 6:12Speaker 5: But I've heard a lot of really nasty stuff about
- 6:15Speaker 5: you from your Democratic college.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I mean, just like, what is he thinking?
- 6:20Speaker 5: Exercise in narcissism. I mean false claims to the Wall
- 6:22Speaker 5: Street Journal about President Biden's mental fitness and acuity. He's
- 6:27Speaker 5: eighty one and his memory. You know, it doesn't seem great.
- 6:30Speaker 5: It's not horrible, but I don't understand the outrage. Quote
- 6:33Speaker 5: behind closed doors, Biden's shows signs of slipping quote. The
- 6:37Speaker 5: Wall Street Journal is owned by NewsCorp, which is run
- 6:39Speaker 5: by the Murdocks. Beyond the headline, there is some critical
- 6:43Speaker 5: nuance here. The article is mostly based on observations of Republicans,
- 6:46Speaker 5: with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy the only one going on
- 6:50Speaker 5: the record. They do note in the article that most
- 6:52Speaker 5: of the criticism comes from Republicans. Have you heard any
- 6:56Speaker 5: concerns from anyone who has met with President Biden about
- 7:00Speaker 5: seeming a little slower? Now the Russians are trying to
- 7:03Speaker 5: do to make us in the public not trust the
- 7:06Speaker 5: our election integrity. Joe Biden has dimension all this stuff.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Let's just stop there and give the title of the
- 7:15Speaker 2: book again, Senator, so people understand what they just heard
- 7:18Speaker 2: and now what he's writing, Because if you just look
- 7:22Speaker 2: at the title of the book, you understand the debauchery
- 7:26Speaker 2: of journalistic scumbaggery.
- 7:29Speaker 3: The title of the book is Original Sin President Biden's decline,
- 7:34Speaker 3: its cover up, and his disastrous choice to run again.
- 7:38Speaker 3: And understand Jake Tapper when he was saying that he
- 7:41Speaker 3: was lying, he knew he was lying. Everyone else on
- 7:45Speaker 3: CNN knew he was lying. They knew they were lying.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Everyone on MSNBC knew they were lying. Everyone on ABCNBCCBS
- 7:52Speaker 3: knew they were lying. Everyone at the New York Times
- 7:54Speaker 3: knew they were lying. Everyone at the Washington Post knew
- 7:56Speaker 3: they were lying. Everyone knew this look. One of the
- 7:59Speaker 3: facts that his book. He says at a fundraiser in
- 8:02Speaker 3: Jude of twenty twenty four, Joe Biden didn't recognize George Clooney,
- 8:07Speaker 3: who he's known for decades. He had told Eny by
- 8:09Speaker 3: the way, he had to be introduced like Ocean's eleven.
- 8:12Speaker 3: What is there a casino you're robbing? I don't understand,
- 8:14Speaker 3: like Biden had no idea. This is the same fundraiser
- 8:17Speaker 3: you remember where Barack Obama had to lead Biden off
- 8:20Speaker 3: the stage because he was just confused and staring out
- 8:22Speaker 3: in space, and Tapper and the rest of them just
- 8:25Speaker 3: lied to us and said aoka, no problems here.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You go back center to what you just said a
- 8:30Speaker 2: moment ago, and it's a great point here, and it's
- 8:33Speaker 2: one about the fact that they were at this fundraiser.
- 8:38Speaker 1: And the president didn't know, like George Clooney.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Wise, do you have Barack Obama having to walk him
- 8:43Speaker 2: off stage like that was when everyone in his realm
- 8:47Speaker 2: that they were even trying.
- 8:48Speaker 1: To, I think in protecting from They all knew then,
- 8:51Speaker 1: like this is a disaster, and yet they still went
- 8:53Speaker 1: full speed ahead with it.
- 8:54Speaker 3: No, that's exactly right. You know, the Babylon B had
- 8:57Speaker 3: a great headline that summed up this book. So the
- 9:00Speaker 3: Babylon B's headline was, quote, Jake Tapper uncovers startling evidence
- 9:05Speaker 3: that Biden's decline was covered up by Jake Tapper. And
- 9:09Speaker 3: that's exactly what his book is. And listen, listen to
- 9:13Speaker 3: this week, Chuck Schumer, because it wasn't just Jake Tapper
- 9:16Speaker 3: that was lying. Every Democrat was lying. Every Democrat Senator,
- 9:20Speaker 3: every Democrat governor, every Democrat house member. They all knew
- 9:22Speaker 3: Biden was seriously declining mentally, and they all covered it up.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Schumer was one of the most shameless because he gave
- 9:30Speaker 3: his own personal guarantee about how quick Biden was. And
- 9:35Speaker 3: listen this week when when finally the media confronts him
- 9:38Speaker 3: about his lies, Listen to what Chuck Schumer says, Uh, you.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Said in June of last year, in my meeting the
- 9:44Speaker 2: President Biden, I found the command president guilded influence to made.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Father sent key priorities.
- 9:51Speaker 6: But in that same mom violent here that he not
- 9:54Speaker 6: even recognized George Pulley.
- 9:55Speaker 4: In a fundraiser.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Were you being straight with the American palmer for look,
- 9:59Speaker 1: would just look forward? I mean, it's the best answer
- 10:02Speaker 1: I've ever heard from a politician. Center.
- 10:04Speaker 4: We're just looking forward.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Hey, we gotta go. We're just looking forward. And I'm
- 10:08Speaker 1: walking off stage like we're just looking forward.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I mean, so, Governor, tell me about the dead body
- 10:13Speaker 3: that we found in your house. We're just looking or
- 10:16Speaker 3: tell me about the.
- 10:17Speaker 1: The cocaine the White House. We're just looking for just moving.
- 10:21Speaker 4: We're just moving forward, guys, Schumer.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Not not the tiniest bit of accountability, not the oh yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 3: we're not just we're moving forward.
- 10:29Speaker 1: To forward, moving the Democrats.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You know, it reminded me back if you remember when
- 10:36Speaker 3: Mitt Romney ran for president against Barack Obama. Yes, And
- 10:39Speaker 3: Harry Reid went and lied and claimed that Mitt Romney
- 10:44Speaker 3: hadn't paid income taxes, and he just flat out lied,
- 10:46Speaker 3: and he did it on the Senate floor.
- 10:47Speaker 4: You know why I did it on the Senate.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Floor because you can't argue back with him.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Right, Well, that's true. But there's another reason he did
- 10:52Speaker 3: it on the Senate floor because the Constitution has a
- 10:54Speaker 3: provision called the Speech and Debate Clause that that that
- 10:57Speaker 3: immunizes members of Congress for speech and bait on the
- 11:00Speaker 3: Senate floor. He did it so no one could sue him.
- 11:02Speaker 3: So Mitt Romney wouldn't sue him for defamation because he
- 11:05Speaker 3: was lying.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And he didn't sit on TV. Interesting and after.
- 11:09Speaker 3: The election they asked Harry Reid about wait, you were lying,
- 11:14Speaker 3: you had no evidence. And Harry Reid, who was then
- 11:16Speaker 3: the Democrat Senate majority leader, he said, well, Romney didn't win,
- 11:20Speaker 3: did he Like it's the same thing as Chuck Schumer.
- 11:23Speaker 4: We're just looking forward, all right.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Listen to now Biden's National security advisor, Jake Sullivan, who
- 11:30Speaker 3: worked with Biden every day in the White House and
- 11:32Speaker 3: so new to an absolute certainty that that Biden was
- 11:37Speaker 3: severely mentally declining, but listen to what Jake Sullivan said.
- 11:41Speaker 8: What happened in that debate was a shock to me.
- 11:43Speaker 8: I think was a shock to everybody. And I've made
- 11:46Speaker 8: that point before. Just finally, do you think in retrospect,
- 11:50Speaker 8: given everything that's happened and everything we've talked about today,
- 11:52Speaker 8: it was a mistake for President Biden to try to
- 11:54Speaker 8: run again. One of the things about being national security
- 11:58Speaker 8: advisor is that you're mercifully insulated from politics and political
- 12:04Speaker 8: decision making. I was insulated from it to the point
- 12:07Speaker 8: where while I was National Security Advisor, uh, my spouse
- 12:11Speaker 8: was running for Congress, and I had strict rules about
- 12:13Speaker 8: what I could even do to support my spouse, let
- 12:16Speaker 8: alone be involved in political decision making, political calls in
- 12:20Speaker 8: the White House. So I have not weighed in on
- 12:23Speaker 8: those issues and would not weigh in on those issues.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Let's let's just be clear. I've known national security advisors.
- 12:28Speaker 2: That is the biggest one of crap I've ever heard.
- 12:30Speaker 3: I'm just going to put out something really funny. There's
- 12:33Speaker 3: something about Democrat men that makes them weenies. Yeah, so
- 12:37Speaker 3: he says my spouse was running for Congress, So he
- 12:41Speaker 3: is actually married to a woman, yep, Ben, Can you
- 12:43Speaker 3: imagine any circumstances which I refer to your wife as
- 12:47Speaker 3: my spouse? I mean, isn't like I don't know a
- 12:49Speaker 3: man who refers to his wife as my.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Spouse who's running for congress, My wife who is running
- 12:54Speaker 2: for congress like that like the moldun.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Human beings would communicate, but but not not democrat after.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yours would be my smoking hot wife who's running for cocker.
- 13:05Speaker 4: But that's the way.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Do I know you well or do I know you
- 13:08Speaker 2: will any any chance to praise praise your wife.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Not your spouse.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yes, my smoking hot wife is exactly exactly the way
- 13:19Speaker 3: to put it.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I set you up for success there.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I just want to know if there's anything you're gonna
- 13:22Speaker 2: you should clip from this pod and send to your wife.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Be like, go to this minute mark in the pod. Honey,
- 13:27Speaker 1: you made the pod.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Actually look as you know, listen to the podcast. So
- 13:31Speaker 3: that'll be she'll she'll be listening.
- 13:33Speaker 1: This is a miss test.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I one day I said, think about my wife in
- 13:36Speaker 2: my show, and I wanted to see if she heard it,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and like her friends text are like, Ben said thing
- 13:41Speaker 2: about you, and she's like, what did you say about
- 13:43Speaker 2: me day.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I was like, well, if you listen to the show,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you would have known.
- 13:45Speaker 4: It was like, A great, you know that was a mistake.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Don't do that. I told you so, you only I'm
- 13:51Speaker 4: just saying.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I'm just saying I want to ask you a on
- 13:55Speaker 2: a very serious note here you look at the hypocrisy.
- 13:59Speaker 2: But the most disturbing thing for me coming out of
- 14:02Speaker 2: this book and how the Axius reporting is that the
- 14:06Speaker 2: cabinet members worried about his capacity, specifically in a crisis. Now,
- 14:14Speaker 2: there's been interesting reporting, and I'm just want to put
- 14:16Speaker 2: it in perspective. He has the bad debate. There was
- 14:20Speaker 2: real conversations, we were told and there's reporting on this
- 14:23Speaker 2: about the possibility of invoking the twenty fifth. Not because
- 14:26Speaker 2: they were afraid, I go back to the you know,
- 14:29Speaker 2: worried about the capacity and a crisis.
- 14:32Speaker 1: They just didn't want to lose the election.
- 14:33Speaker 4: It was all politics.
- 14:34Speaker 3: They were perfectly fine having someone with dementia who was
- 14:37Speaker 3: not capable of decision making as president as commander in chief.
- 14:41Speaker 3: So this Jake Tapper comedy book includes the revelation that
- 14:46Speaker 3: multiple cabinet members were worried that he could not be
- 14:49Speaker 3: relied on at a time of crisis because his mental
- 14:52Speaker 3: diminution was so great. One cabinet secretary said Biden's top
- 14:56Speaker 3: aids quote shielded him in every meeting from October two,
- 15:00Speaker 3: twenty twenty three. On quote the cabinet was kept at
- 15:02Speaker 3: bay another quote for months. We didn't have access to him.
- 15:06Speaker 3: There was clearly a deliberate strategy by the White House
- 15:08Speaker 3: to have a meet with as few people as necessary.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Another cabinet secretary says that one rare meeting during the time,
- 15:14Speaker 3: that cabinet secretary was quote shocked by how the president
- 15:17Speaker 3: was acting. He was seemed disoriented and out of it,
- 15:20Speaker 3: his mouth agape. They knew they were worried. And you
- 15:24Speaker 3: know what, if our enemies attacked us, this was the
- 15:27Speaker 3: commander in chief that the Democrats and CNN and the
- 15:31Speaker 3: lying corporate media was telling us could protect us. And look,
- 15:34Speaker 3: I don't know that i'd trust him to operate the
- 15:36Speaker 3: remote control on the television set.
- 15:39Speaker 1: By the way, are they going to put this under
- 15:40Speaker 1: fiction or nonfiction? That's what I want to know. When
- 15:42Speaker 1: you go to the store, right if you go look.
- 15:44Speaker 3: For well Sadly, I think they'll put it under nonfiction,
- 15:47Speaker 3: which they should, because it is true that Joe Biden's
- 15:50Speaker 3: has had a massive mental deterioration. What they should put
- 15:52Speaker 3: under fiction is what Jake says on TV every day.
- 15:55Speaker 3: That's the fiction part. The irony is this may be
- 15:58Speaker 3: the one true thing Tapper has has written or said
- 16:01Speaker 3: in the light.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Hold on the guy from Access Right. It's true.
- 16:04Speaker 4: It was someone else who wrote it, name on it.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Yeah, But but by accident he told the truth, except
- 16:10Speaker 3: for the fact that he didn't admit that he's been
- 16:12Speaker 3: lying to the country the entire time Biden was in
- 16:14Speaker 3: the White House.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So let's go back to the cabinet members, because this
- 16:18Speaker 2: is the big question. I was doing Fox and I
- 16:21Speaker 2: Waters World. Killy mckinneie was filling in form White House
- 16:23Speaker 2: pres Singcretary and she was talking about then when when
- 16:26Speaker 2: some of this was starting to break and I and
- 16:28Speaker 2: I said, look, the headlines are amazing, But I said,
- 16:30Speaker 2: the real question that I think we should all be asking,
- 16:33Speaker 2: and I want your take on this is if all
- 16:36Speaker 2: this is true, and I have no reason believe it's not,
- 16:39Speaker 2: who the hell was the president of the United States
- 16:41Speaker 2: of America? Who was running the country? Was it thirty
- 16:45Speaker 2: people that were elected by no one. I don't think
- 16:48Speaker 2: it was one person. I think there's a very good
- 16:51Speaker 2: chance that the FBI was the president of the FBI
- 16:54Speaker 2: and the DD was the president.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I mean, who the hell was running the country?
- 16:57Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Actually, all right, that's why I'm asking you.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I've been asked that question probably a thousand times, and
- 17:03Speaker 3: I'm going to give you the most terrifying answer you
- 17:05Speaker 3: could imagine. I don't know, Okay, I genuinely don't know.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I think it was Barack Obama. I think it was
- 17:14Speaker 3: Barack Obama. Barack Obama, certainly his minions, is the only
- 17:17Speaker 3: president in modern times who at the end of his
- 17:20Speaker 3: presidency stayed in DC, bought a big house in Calorama
- 17:23Speaker 3: every night, their cars in the driveway, and all of
- 17:26Speaker 3: his little apparatic minions are in the White House. And
- 17:30Speaker 3: I think it was a combination.
- 17:33Speaker 2: When Joe Biden's White House was filled with staffers. I
- 17:36Speaker 2: want you to understand this. This is well reported, but
- 17:38Speaker 2: this is really important right now for this story. It
- 17:41Speaker 2: was well reported on that Biden and his team were
- 17:45Speaker 2: the one that placed everyone in the positions of power
- 17:47Speaker 2: in the Biden I mean Obama six. Obama and his
- 17:50Speaker 2: team placed everyone basically in a position of powers in
- 17:53Speaker 2: the Biden administration.
- 17:54Speaker 3: So look, in four years of the Biden presidency, I'm
- 17:58Speaker 3: in the Senate the whole time. How many times do
- 18:00Speaker 3: you think I spoke with Joe Biden while he was president?
- 18:03Speaker 2: I would say one to three zero, And I was
- 18:07Speaker 2: saying one of three because I thought they were protecting him.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So you're saying, as a senator, and that's not normal.
- 18:10Speaker 1: People need to understand that.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Not a single time, and that is bizarre.
- 18:14Speaker 1: How many times with Obama?
- 18:15Speaker 9: Free?
- 18:15Speaker 4: Lots of times.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I mean I spoke.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I spoke with Obama regularly.
- 18:18Speaker 3: With Trump, I speak with him often every week, sometimes
- 18:23Speaker 3: multiple times a week. It is part of the job
- 18:26Speaker 3: of being a senator to work with the president, to
- 18:28Speaker 3: talk with the president, even the president of the opposing party.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Were there ever big lads with Obama? For examle, I'm
- 18:34Speaker 2: trying to really paint a picture here of how insane
- 18:37Speaker 2: it is.
- 18:37Speaker 1: You didn't talk to him for four years.
- 18:38Speaker 4: It's bizarre.
- 18:39Speaker 3: And the thing to understand is we all know Joe Biden.
- 18:43Speaker 3: He was in the Senate for four years. He was
- 18:46Speaker 3: a man of the Senate when I was first elected
- 18:48Speaker 3: the Senate in twenty twelve, Joe Biden swore me in.
- 18:51Speaker 3: In fact, I'll tell you without the cognitive decline, and
- 18:53Speaker 3: he was fine. Now when vice president thirteen years ago,
- 18:56Speaker 3: he did not have cognitive cline. And in fact, it
- 18:59Speaker 3: was funny. So my girls, you know, my daughters, they're
- 19:02Speaker 3: fourteen and seventeen. When I was sworn in, they were
- 19:04Speaker 3: two and four. They were little bitty and my two
- 19:07Speaker 3: year old Catherine, Biden leaned over to pick her up
- 19:11Speaker 3: and she screamed. She screamed really loudly, and Biden said,
- 19:15Speaker 3: it's okay, it's okay. It's a Democrat, but it's okay.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And that was actually quite funny.
- 19:19Speaker 4: I laughed.
- 19:20Speaker 3: And you don't have time. Magazine does little quotes of
- 19:22Speaker 3: like the quotes of the week. Yeah, that next week,
- 19:25Speaker 3: the quote of the week was, it's okay, it's okay.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It's a Democrat, but it's okay. Vice President Joe Biden
- 19:30Speaker 3: to Catherine Cruz, age two. And I've said, you know,
- 19:34Speaker 3: when Catherine is married, hopefully a long long time from now,
- 19:38Speaker 3: I intend to read that quote at her wedding and say,
- 19:41Speaker 3: even at age two, Catherine knew if a Democrat tries
- 19:44Speaker 3: to pick you up.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Scream loudly.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I like that one.
- 19:49Speaker 4: So where do we go from And by the way, when.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I say I didn't speak with him for four years,
- 19:54Speaker 3: that was true of virtually every Republican senator.
- 19:57Speaker 1: So we would say, did that be Democrat senators are
- 19:59Speaker 1: talking to it? They middle more.
- 20:01Speaker 4: The Democrats talked to him early on because.
- 20:03Speaker 1: They were isolating him from what the book saying from
- 20:05Speaker 1: like everyone.
- 20:06Speaker 3: So they talked to him a little more. When when
- 20:09Speaker 3: the Senates and session, Republican senators have lunch together every Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 20:13Speaker 3: and Thursday, so we talk at lunch. It's they're working lunches,
- 20:15Speaker 3: they're very productive. We would sit at lunch and talk
- 20:18Speaker 3: about how weird it was that that none of us
- 20:20Speaker 3: had spoken to Biden, had been to the White House
- 20:22Speaker 3: to see him, and we all knew him. They were
- 20:25Speaker 3: clearly hiding him. I actually remember one of my colleagues,
- 20:28Speaker 3: John Kennedy, a good friend senator from Louisiana. He was
- 20:31Speaker 3: one of the few who had seen Biden one time,
- 20:33Speaker 3: and he actually told us all the story. We're sitting
- 20:35Speaker 3: at the table and he said, look, he had passed
- 20:37Speaker 3: a bill. He said it was a fairly minor bill,
- 20:39Speaker 3: but it was a bipartisan bill that had passed, and
- 20:42Speaker 3: and Biden did a bill signing, and so they brought
- 20:45Speaker 3: him under and they brought him over because they wanted
- 20:47Speaker 3: to say, look how bipartisan were So so Kennedy was
- 20:50Speaker 3: in the oval and Biden was there, and and Kennedy
- 20:53Speaker 3: started striking up a conversation with Biden and John knew
- 20:56Speaker 3: him like we all did, and and Biden asked, and so, John,
- 21:00Speaker 3: you ever seen the cabinet room? And John Kennedy being
- 21:03Speaker 3: John Kennedy, he said, I lied and said no, and
- 21:06Speaker 3: he said, come on, let's go.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and he can know where that was going. You
- 21:09Speaker 1: say down to that question.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah, And so he takes him in there and he said.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Biden begins telling stories from like forty or fifty years ago,
- 21:17Speaker 3: and Kennedy said, the White House staff comes in freaking out,
- 21:21Speaker 3: Miss President, you go, you gotta go, and Biden yells
- 21:23Speaker 3: at him, shut up, I'm telling stories, and he said.
- 21:26Speaker 3: He went on for like thirty forty minutes, and it
- 21:29Speaker 3: was like listening to your grandfather who's telling the same stories. Ever,
- 21:32Speaker 3: the same stories like fifty years ago. They can remember,
- 21:35Speaker 3: but but don't ask him what's happening today? And and
- 21:38Speaker 3: that was and he was literally at my lunch table.
- 21:41Speaker 3: I remember he was the only one of us who
- 21:42Speaker 3: had seen Biden since he's been president, and and and
- 21:45Speaker 3: that was his one experience with him.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Will there be anything now that the mees accept this
- 21:49Speaker 2: as fact, they're reporting on his fact. Cabinet members were
- 21:53Speaker 2: worried about his capacity in a crisis, That's what they've said.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Is there going to be any overside slash investigation? Should
- 22:02Speaker 2: there be from Congress? And I know that's a weird
- 22:04Speaker 2: question because there's somebody like, look, we want let's move on,
- 22:07Speaker 2: But like I do, actually, as an American citizen, want
- 22:10Speaker 2: to know who was running the United States of America
- 22:12Speaker 2: that was elected by no one. I want to know
- 22:16Speaker 2: who was calling the shots it was elected by no one,
- 22:18Speaker 2: because whether I win or lose an election, my vote
- 22:21Speaker 2: should not be canceled out by some sort of dictator
- 22:24Speaker 2: or tyrant within an administration that no one knows who's
- 22:26Speaker 2: running a government.
- 22:27Speaker 3: And by the way, there's a related question to that Ben,
- 22:30Speaker 3: which is we've seen the stories that apparently a substantial
- 22:33Speaker 3: number of official things that Biden signed were signed by
- 22:36Speaker 3: the autopen.
- 22:36Speaker 1: So was he even making the decision to sign them right?
- 22:39Speaker 3: And he didn't even seem to know like some of
- 22:41Speaker 3: the pardons. And I actually think you'll have this litigated.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I don't not aware of any courts that's ever decided
- 22:47Speaker 3: is is a pardon Does a pardon have to actually
- 22:50Speaker 3: be signed by the president. So look, every elected official
- 22:53Speaker 3: has an autopen. I have an autopan, and so for
- 22:55Speaker 3: things like constituent correspondence, if you write into your senator,
- 22:59Speaker 3: you'll get a response back, and we try to respond
- 23:01Speaker 3: substantively in the autop pen will sign it. And I
- 23:03Speaker 3: get millions of those letters, so I couldn't physically sign
- 23:06Speaker 3: them all.
- 23:06Speaker 2: All I'm thinking about right now is how where that
- 23:08Speaker 2: autopen isn't how much fun I could happen keep going.
- 23:10Speaker 3: But look, it's fine for if something like correspondence, a
- 23:14Speaker 3: birthday wish, But the question is for something that has
- 23:18Speaker 3: legal force of law. And I actually want to know
- 23:20Speaker 3: do they use the autopen to sign any legislation, because
- 23:23Speaker 3: it's not clear to me legislation that the president didn't
- 23:26Speaker 3: sign has legal force. The autopen is not the commander
- 23:29Speaker 3: in chief and the chief judges.
- 23:31Speaker 2: For example, if he did an autopen, which means I'm
- 23:35Speaker 2: truly convinced that he didn't know what was going on.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He didn't know who's appointing. He probably didn't know who's pardoning.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And if that happening, the partiers are where it'll be litigated, Okay,
- 23:45Speaker 2: and that will Why is that so different, because.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Look, it's it's interesting. Like a pardon under the Constitution,
- 23:51Speaker 3: all you have to have is a document from the
- 23:53Speaker 3: president that said, you know, I pardoned Ben Ferguson and
- 23:58Speaker 3: and and suddenly actually only if it's a federal offense,
- 24:01Speaker 3: so he can't.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah, the p I take, the abece I take.
- 24:06Speaker 3: But it literally there's no pomp and circumstance. It doesn't
- 24:10Speaker 3: have to have gold leaf on the paper, it doesn't
- 24:12Speaker 3: have to be an official it's just a piece of
- 24:14Speaker 3: paper with a signature, with those words and his signature,
- 24:17Speaker 3: that is legally a pardon. But if you don't actually
- 24:21Speaker 3: have a signature. Listen, I've been in the oval dozens
- 24:24Speaker 3: of times, probably more when when President Trump is signing
- 24:28Speaker 3: things and pulls out he actually so have you seen
- 24:31Speaker 3: the president's.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I like I've got one of the big
- 24:34Speaker 2: sharpieeress like most presidents use like a sharpie to have
- 24:39Speaker 2: a signing pen.
- 24:39Speaker 3: But but President Trump's it's a marker that's probably what
- 24:43Speaker 3: ten inches long, and maybe.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It's gold, like gold is signature, and like an inch.
- 24:48Speaker 4: In diameter like it's it is massive.
- 24:51Speaker 3: But he signs one after the other, after the other
- 24:53Speaker 3: after the other, because that's what gives it legal force
- 24:56Speaker 3: of law. If you have a president that's mentally incompetent
- 25:00Speaker 3: and you have staffers running thing, it makes you wonder
- 25:04Speaker 3: doctor Fauci's pardon jine it.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, And if it's the auto pen,
- 25:09Speaker 1: which I'm sure they can figure that out.
- 25:12Speaker 3: It will be It's an interesting question, you know. I'll
- 25:15Speaker 3: say a few more of these quotes from the cabinet members.
- 25:19Speaker 3: The cabinet members in this book described said. One said quote,
- 25:25Speaker 3: the staff did him wrong. If you were with him
- 25:27Speaker 3: every day and you knew this was going to be
- 25:29Speaker 3: a problem, why didn't you go to him and say something.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Another said quote, access dropped off considerably in twenty twenty four,
- 25:36Speaker 3: and I didn't interact with him as much. A third said, quote, Yes,
- 25:40Speaker 3: the president is making the decisions, but if the inner
- 25:43Speaker 3: circle is shaping them in such a way, is it
- 25:46Speaker 3: really a decision? And here was another cabinet secretary. I
- 25:49Speaker 3: don't think he has dementia. But the thing is, he's
- 25:52Speaker 3: an old man. The president can give you four to
- 25:54Speaker 3: six good hours a day. When he got tired, sloppy
- 25:56Speaker 3: isn't the right word, but his guard was down. That
- 25:59Speaker 3: would be the commander in chief of the United States.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Now that it's over, now that everybody knows the cognitive decline,
- 26:05Speaker 2: now that the books are being written, they're telling you
- 26:08Speaker 2: they may have only gotten four hours a day out
- 26:10Speaker 2: of the President of United Atsmagra. That is maybe one
- 26:13Speaker 2: of the most shocking statements I've ever heard about any
- 26:15Speaker 2: present yet.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Look, it's he was not mentally capable to do the job.
- 26:20Speaker 3: They knew it, and they lied about it. And by
- 26:22Speaker 3: the way, Jake Tapper's whole premise that gosh, little old
- 26:25Speaker 3: me Jake was deceived. They just didn't tell me the truth.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I just didn't know. Well, Jake, if you listened to Verdict,
- 26:33Speaker 3: we were telling you the facts, and we were telling
- 26:35Speaker 3: you the facts early on. Here, I want you to
- 26:37Speaker 3: go back to January of twenty twenty four. I want
- 26:39Speaker 3: you to listen to a segment of Enemy in the
- 26:41Speaker 3: podcast back in January of twenty four talking about Biden's deterioration.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Give a listen, You and I and kind of anyone
- 26:50Speaker 3: with eyes and common sense have been observing for a
- 26:54Speaker 3: long time that Joe Biden's cognitive decline is massive.
- 26:58Speaker 4: But it's easy for.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Some observers to dismiss that and say, you know, these
- 27:04Speaker 3: guys are biased, they're partisans, they don't like Biden, So
- 27:06Speaker 3: what they're saying is not true. In this instance, the
- 27:13Speaker 3: people speaking are the Biden Department of Justice and not
- 27:17Speaker 3: any department of justice. This is a Department of Justice
- 27:20Speaker 3: that has proven itself the most politicized and partisan department
- 27:24Speaker 3: of justice in history. And they have argued so, for example,
- 27:29Speaker 3: I'm going to read you a paragraph from the report.
- 27:32Speaker 3: In his interview with our office, mister Biden's memory was worse.
- 27:38Speaker 3: He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting
- 27:42Speaker 3: on the first day of the interview when his term ended,
- 27:45Speaker 3: quote if it was twenty thirteen, when did I stop
- 27:49Speaker 3: being vice president? And forgetting on the second day of
- 27:53Speaker 3: the interview when his term began quote in two thousand
- 27:57Speaker 3: and nine, am I still vice president? He did not
- 28:02Speaker 3: remember even within several years when his son bo died
- 28:08Speaker 3: and his memory appeared hazy. When describing the Afghanistan debate
- 28:14Speaker 3: that was once so important to him, among other things,
- 28:18Speaker 3: he mistakenly said he quote had a real difference of
- 28:23Speaker 3: opinion with General Carl Aitkinberry, when in fact Aitkinberry was
- 28:29Speaker 3: an ally whom mister Biden cited approvingly in his thanksgiving
- 28:35Speaker 3: memo to President Obama. All of that was authored by
- 28:40Speaker 3: the Biden Department of Justice. And when they are describing
- 28:43Speaker 3: the sitting president as a well meaning, elderly man with
- 28:48Speaker 3: a poor memory, the natural question for anyone to say is,
- 28:53Speaker 3: holy crap. If he's not competent to stand trial, why
- 28:57Speaker 3: is he the commander in chief with the authority to
- 28:59Speaker 3: send our sons and daughters into harm's way? Why does
- 29:03Speaker 3: he have access to the nuclear codes? Understand the description
- 29:08Speaker 3: here They say, you couldn't charge him with a crime
- 29:10Speaker 3: because he's not aware of enough to have the requisite
- 29:14Speaker 3: mental intent. And yet Joe Biden tonight, if he's so desired,
- 29:18Speaker 3: could literally exterminate humanity from the face of the planet
- 29:23Speaker 3: as commander in chief if he gave the order launch
- 29:26Speaker 3: the nuclear weapons now, unless the military refused to obey
- 29:33Speaker 3: the commander in chief, Joe Biden could exterminate every life
- 29:37Speaker 3: on this planet. And if he's not mentally competent to
- 29:40Speaker 3: stand trial, that is terrifying. So that was a year
- 29:45Speaker 3: and a half ago, a year and a half ago
- 29:46Speaker 3: on this podcast. And understand the entire basis at Tapper's books,
- 29:50Speaker 3: he couldn't possibly know about known about this mental decline.
- 29:53Speaker 3: The Department of Justice in this would be the Biden
- 29:56Speaker 3: Department of Justice went into court. So the Robert Hurr Report,
- 30:00Speaker 3: Remember they did not prosecute Biden.
- 30:02Speaker 1: And where was that I won? Do you remember the
- 30:03Speaker 1: timeframe on that.
- 30:04Speaker 2: That was early twenty four. Yeah, we covered it a lot,
- 30:08Speaker 2: and that with them interviewing him in twenty three. So
- 30:11Speaker 2: in twenty three when they were interviewing Joe Biden, they
- 30:15Speaker 2: then in twenty four told America he's so bad off
- 30:18Speaker 2: we can't even charge him with anything.
- 30:20Speaker 3: So they concluded if they charged him, he would be
- 30:24Speaker 3: found not competent to be convicted.
- 30:27Speaker 4: That is a stunning.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Look, there's a standard. There are people that are not
- 30:30Speaker 3: competent to be tried. If you have dementia, if you're
- 30:32Speaker 3: like mentally ill, that you're not able. The legal standard
- 30:36Speaker 3: is you have to form what's called mensraa, which is intent.
- 30:39Speaker 3: And they said, well, he's so old and senile, we
- 30:42Speaker 3: can't charge him. So that's why they said, oh, yeah,
- 30:44Speaker 3: he clearly violated the law. He committed a felony. Remember
- 30:47Speaker 3: he kept classified materials everywhere, including his garage next to
- 30:50Speaker 3: his antique car.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Not a joke, that's real.
- 30:54Speaker 3: And they said he was guilty of that, but they
- 30:57Speaker 3: couldn't charge him because he was incompetent to stand trial.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I want you to list in twenty twenty three to
- 31:02Speaker 3: me laying out his mental decline and MSNBC Morning Joe
- 31:07Speaker 3: making fun of me for it.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Gives us like one of their big intros. May fourth,
- 31:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty three.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Twenty eleven, when Republicans in the House stood strong on
- 31:18Speaker 3: the debt ceiling again because Democrats had had majority of
- 31:21Speaker 3: the Congress for two years, had passed trillions in irresponsible spending,
- 31:26Speaker 3: and Republicans stood strong and said, we will not raise
- 31:29Speaker 3: the debt ceiling without serious fiscal reform. What happened then
- 31:34Speaker 3: Vice President Joe Biden came and negotiated a deal, a
- 31:38Speaker 3: deal called the Budget Control Act. Vice President Biden sat
- 31:42Speaker 3: down with House Republicans and reached a meaningful compromise. President
- 31:48Speaker 3: Joe Biden needs to do the same thing. And I'll say, sadly,
- 31:52Speaker 3: the reason he hasn't so far, I believe, is because
- 31:57Speaker 3: his mental faculties are too diminished right now.
- 32:01Speaker 6: You know, I know, hold on, hold on, hold on
- 32:04Speaker 6: what he has such a point.
- 32:07Speaker 10: His mental faculties are so diminished that he passed more bipartisans,
- 32:13Speaker 10: signed more bipartisan legislation.
- 32:15Speaker 6: But he was doing it last year.
- 32:20Speaker 11: Any president since LBJ My god, if he were his
- 32:24Speaker 11: coaching as he had been in twenty eleven, but he
- 32:27Speaker 11: could have been like you could have gone back to FDR.
- 32:31Speaker 9: What else he did without without apparently realizing what he
- 32:34Speaker 9: was doing. He like, held NATO together to fight Russian
- 32:39Speaker 9: aggression in Ukraine, and and.
- 32:42Speaker 6: My god, I know he only increased eight hundred mile
- 32:46Speaker 6: border in NATO.
- 32:47Speaker 4: With Russia exactly.
- 32:49Speaker 1: But I guess he you know, he thought he was
- 32:52Speaker 1: when happened.
- 32:53Speaker 10: You know, it reminds me of Ronald Reagan when he
