- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only. Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Got a radio show because God
- 2:12Speaker 1: in the blessing. Business, got a radio show because God
- 2:16Speaker 1: is in a forgiving business, got a radio show because
- 2:19Speaker 1: God to let you turn your life around. Business, got
- 2:22Speaker 1: a radio show because God no better than you know. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Didn't see it coming,
- 2:30Speaker 1: but he did. I'm gonna share with you today a
- 2:34Speaker 1: principle of success. You know. It's it's important that we
- 2:40Speaker 1: get our lives together. I mean it really really is.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You know, to hear after is exactly what it says,
- 2:46Speaker 1: is to hear after and hopefully for the majority of us,
- 2:51Speaker 1: that's quite a way he's off. So what about how
- 2:55Speaker 1: you living today? How about it now? You know often
- 2:59Speaker 1: talk to to talk in the morning about your relationship
- 3:02Speaker 1: with God. That can never change. That is at the
- 3:06Speaker 1: forefront and the best thought process that I can give you.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And I know who I'm talking to on the radio.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I'm talking to a lot of people, man, who out
- 3:18Speaker 1: there just not sure. And I'm talking to a lot
- 3:20Speaker 1: of people out there man that's trying to pull it together.
- 3:24Speaker 1: In other words, you know, I'm talking to a lot
- 3:27Speaker 1: of people like myself. There is a principle of success
- 3:32Speaker 1: that is out there that if more people understood one
- 3:34Speaker 1: of the bait. This is just one of one of
- 3:37Speaker 1: the basic principles of success, you would have more success
- 3:40Speaker 1: in your life. And that principle is this, the more
- 3:44Speaker 1: people you help become successful, the more successful you become.
- 3:52Speaker 1: The more people that you help become successful, the more
- 3:57Speaker 1: successful you become. That's a principle that you have to
- 4:03Speaker 1: put into your life if you have any plan at
- 4:07Speaker 1: all at being successful, because it's necessary. See that principle
- 4:14Speaker 1: of success is in anybody's Bible, any spiritual teachings of them.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I don't know what other religions do or teach, but
- 4:23Speaker 1: I do know this if it's if the religion is right.
- 4:27Speaker 1: They often talk about helping your fellow man. They're always
- 4:30Speaker 1: talking about do unto others that you would have them
- 4:32Speaker 1: do unto you, and if you can't, just a Bible
- 4:35Speaker 1: is full of examples of that. Well, the more people
- 4:38Speaker 1: you help become successful, the more successful you become because
- 4:43Speaker 1: you are a practicing helping your and as you do
- 4:47Speaker 1: unto others, then it's done unto you. You know, you
- 4:51Speaker 1: you you build relationships. When you do that, people forget
- 4:56Speaker 1: in success, that has to be relationships that. There is
- 5:00Speaker 1: no one person in this world who is just successful
- 5:03Speaker 1: all on their own. You are successful, and successful people
- 5:08Speaker 1: form relationships, and you've got to really coddle these relationships.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You've got to nurture these relationships. They don't just happen.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You don't just get cool with people just cause you cool. No,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you've got to do some cool things to these people
- 5:25Speaker 1: and for these people, for these people to be cool
- 5:28Speaker 1: with you when you need some cool. I don't know
- 5:31Speaker 1: if I'm explaining that right, but that's the best way
- 5:33Speaker 1: I can tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 5:40Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 5:43Speaker 1: become successful, the more successful you become. You cannot look.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You got to stretch out for people. You got to
- 5:51Speaker 1: extend your hand. You have to say to people, Hey, look,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I've done that. This is what you got to do.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You got to take some time out to share. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you have to share information, experiences, thoughts. You got to
- 6:05Speaker 1: take a minute man to uplift somebody, give them some encouragement. Hey, man,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you can do it. Don't give up. You have no
- 6:13Speaker 1: idea you you you right now. You have no idea
- 6:20Speaker 1: how significant you are to someone else, how your words
- 6:25Speaker 1: of encouragement could be the difference maker today I'm talking
- 6:29Speaker 1: about it's a person looking at you that you don't
- 6:31Speaker 1: even really know your You don't really know them, and
- 6:34Speaker 1: you see him struggling with something. Just say, hey, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: know what, I've been watching you from afar. You're gonna
- 6:39Speaker 1: be all right, man, I see something. Men. You keep
- 6:42Speaker 1: doing the right thing. Man, You're gonna be all right.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I had a meeting yesterday with a young man for
- 6:49Speaker 1: the first time, and this young man came into my office.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I never met him. He has an internet service, which
- 6:58Speaker 1: anybody can teach me something about the Internet, because I
- 7:01Speaker 1: know little too close to nothing. He was twenty seven
- 7:05Speaker 1: years old, and he was amazingly bright at this, and
- 7:11Speaker 1: I guess you know that it's not that hard to
- 7:14Speaker 1: impress me. But the fluid speech pattern that he had
- 7:19Speaker 1: about this very very difficult subject. He was tossing around
- 7:22Speaker 1: the terms I had heard, but he was actually putting
- 7:25Speaker 1: him in sensences where it made sense to me. It's
- 7:28Speaker 1: very fluid, very very shure of himself when he was
- 7:31Speaker 1: talking about this little things, young dude, twenty seven years old.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And when he got through, the woman that had introduced
- 7:40Speaker 1: me to him, I was leaving my office and she
- 7:42Speaker 1: was going to escort him out, and I turned around
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I said, young man, I said, what what size
- 7:49Speaker 1: pants are you? And I guessed it because I'm I've
- 7:51Speaker 1: been dressing for long. I've been all the sizes. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: I said, you bought a thirty words. He said, yes, sir.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I said what size shoe? You ways? At nine half?
- 8:00Speaker 1: I said what side shirt is? At a medium? He said,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I really like extra lodge. I said, well that's too
- 8:06Speaker 1: big for you. You just want to look lousy and bagging,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and so I was talking to him and I said, man,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out. I said, man, because let
- 8:15Speaker 1: me tell you something. You're a shop, young dude. Man,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you are raised a shop. I say, you've really really
- 8:22Speaker 1: impressed me today, I said. And you know what, young brother,
- 8:25Speaker 1: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I said, but I want you to get your image up.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I want you to. I want you to look at
- 8:32Speaker 1: how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
- 8:36Speaker 1: and you're talking about doing something for them, and it
- 8:39Speaker 1: takes money to make it happen. I gotta give you
- 8:41Speaker 1: money to make this happen. What you cannot afford to
- 8:44Speaker 1: do is look like you need every dime of this money.
- 8:48Speaker 1: See you, when you're going there and you're talking about
- 8:51Speaker 1: money with another person, the person that's gonna give you
- 8:54Speaker 1: this money cannot You can't look like you need every
- 8:57Speaker 1: dime of this money, you know, So you gotta start
- 9:00Speaker 1: wasting yourself. And that's all I just said to him.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And I just said, man, but you know what, you shocked.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You're gonna make yourself some money. I'm gonna help you
- 9:07Speaker 1: out a little bit. I walked out. I went on
- 9:09Speaker 1: about my business. Later on that afternoon, I had a
- 9:11Speaker 1: meeting with the woman that bought him in and she said,
- 9:14Speaker 1: mister Harvey, you have no idea what you just did.
- 9:17Speaker 1: He said, his eyes just teared up when you walked out.
- 9:20Speaker 1: He said, Wow, man, that man don't even know me,
- 9:23Speaker 1: and he just encouraged me. He's a man always thought
- 9:27Speaker 1: I might could make it, but he said, I ain't.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Never had nobody like him tell me I could make it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And just hearing it from him, man, that's all right.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna get my clothes together. But you know,
- 9:39Speaker 1: I've been homeless. And then he started telling the woman
- 9:42Speaker 1: that he had been homeless, and so you know, then
- 9:45Speaker 1: she telling me that now I'm fitting cryckers. You know,
- 9:47Speaker 1: I've been in that hole before, and I just and
- 9:50Speaker 1: I'm just sharing that story. What y'all just to say.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You don't know who you talking to, but what does
- 9:57Speaker 1: it hurt if you just extend your hand to a
- 10:00Speaker 1: and give them a moment of encouragement. See this young
- 10:04Speaker 1: brother right here, he could come back one day and
- 10:07Speaker 1: be a major benefit to me because he has a
- 10:10Speaker 1: skill set that I don't have. Oh, I might be old,
- 10:14Speaker 1: mister Steve Harvey, but hey, guess what, I don't know
- 10:17Speaker 1: nothing about what this young cat know. And he'd went
- 10:20Speaker 1: off and educated himself. And just a word of encouragement
- 10:24Speaker 1: from somebody like yourself can make all the difference in
- 10:28Speaker 1: another person's life. So remember on your way to the top.
- 10:33Speaker 1: The more people that you help become successful, the more
- 10:37Speaker 1: successful you become. It's a requirement of God that you
- 10:41Speaker 1: do that. That ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read
- 10:44Speaker 1: your Bible. Somebody got a Bible verse that backed me up.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Email it to me today. If you know what it is.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I don't know, but y'all do out there all right? Man,
- 10:53Speaker 1: oh man, you're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, have your attention please, Uh,

- 11:21Speaker 1: I D and all like that, but if you listening
- 11:23Speaker 1: to me, you already owned the station. I'm on. Too

- 12:59Speaker 1: salon and she does them herself. Yeah, she's good. She

- 13:42Speaker 1: not cooking. It's in the kitchen, thank you. It's here
- 13:46Speaker 1: in the studios in a machine that heats stuff up.

- 41:19Speaker 1: protect my friend. I ain't gotten that in there. Better
- 41:22Speaker 1: subject would have been how to put food into friend
- 41:29Speaker 1: when you really want to protect something? What I would do?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Get a ziplock bade Okay, all right and right, let's
- 41:38Speaker 1: see where we at. We in seventeen put one one
- 41:41Speaker 1: seventeen on that January seventeen. Get on and being right,
- 41:49Speaker 1: chitlings on the ziplock. Ain't don't throw away I promise
- 41:57Speaker 1: you ain't nobody bothers. Yeah, hid, come and see the
- 42:02Speaker 1: best way to protect sandwich work is to put it
- 42:06Speaker 1: in sell a frame and then duct tape so they
- 42:12Speaker 1: don't even know what it is. Duct take the whole sandwich.
- 42:23Speaker 1: You don't look just a brick or duct tape. There
- 42:26Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna open up that damn duc tuc tape
- 42:29Speaker 1: cups with everything but not food. Yeah, protective, Yeah, put
- 42:35Speaker 1: it in. How to protect the food in the fridge, Jay, Oh,
- 42:40Speaker 1: the best way to do it is you can put
- 42:42Speaker 1: it way inside. You put it inside and put you
- 42:45Speaker 1: you smash it up. You take your sandwich and you
- 42:47Speaker 1: bawl it up real tight, just as small as you
- 42:50Speaker 1: can make it, and put it and wrap it in,
- 42:52Speaker 1: sell it and then stick that inside the bacon, sold
- 42:56Speaker 1: the box, put it inside the ball up, sand up
- 43:00Speaker 1: the sandwich. That's what I'm talking about. But it will
- 43:05Speaker 1: be that when you get pet again, I tell you
- 43:11Speaker 1: what we're really do it. Go buy a dog shelter.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Get an unhappy pit bull him in the break room.
- 43:21Speaker 1: When they opened that door on the inside. Just turn
- 43:32Speaker 1: the temperature down just a little bit so he can survive.
- 43:36Speaker 1: He's in the fridge. Put in frame. They've been walking
- 43:43Speaker 1: in there, Grace, because they've been eating your stuff every day.
- 43:45Speaker 1: This can halt that walk ocause, Julie, still you. I
- 43:50Speaker 1: got to put it back this one, because I've done
- 43:52Speaker 1: this one before. Our dog name is Chopper. I put
- 43:55Speaker 1: it in a zip lock bag and put choppers sweet
- 43:58Speaker 1: treats on them. Put backside on me, Come my son, Jordan,
- 44:04Speaker 1: and put some up chopping sweet trees in there. And
- 44:07Speaker 1: got at all confusing. I got a right, come on,
- 44:11Speaker 1: we got Steve. Put your whole lunch in a pamp. Well,

- 48:38Speaker 1: here's a god that was with Kenny. Let me call
- 48:41Speaker 1: my door. She can hear me. Better. Man, there was
- 48:44Speaker 1: another gentleman that was in the back seat of the

- 53:34Speaker 1: But if you can send the letter in if you

- 53:54Speaker 1: I guess I'm this woman, this woman, this woman, I'm
- 54:00Speaker 1: this woman. Hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Here it is the Strawberry Letter, Thank you. Eno. Few
- 54:06Speaker 1: subjects closer than close best friends. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 54:11Speaker 1: have a male best friend that I want to be
- 54:13Speaker 1: more than friends with. I was taught that the man
- 54:16Speaker 1: is supposed to pursue the woman, so I've never attempted
- 54:20Speaker 1: to tell him how I feel about him. We have
- 54:24Speaker 1: been friends for ten years, and although we have strictly
- 54:27Speaker 1: have a strictly platonic relationship, our friends and family make
- 54:31Speaker 1: jokes about us already being a couple. My mom even
- 54:34Speaker 1: refers to him as her son in law. He lives
- 54:37Speaker 1: four hundred miles away, but we see each other several
- 54:40Speaker 1: times a month. He always pays for my flight, hotel, rooms,
- 54:44Speaker 1: meals whenever I go to visit him. When he comes
- 54:47Speaker 1: to see me, he spends time with my mom, and
- 54:50Speaker 1: he makes plans for us to see movies, concerts, plays, etc.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I have even been on his family vacation. I know
- 54:57Speaker 1: that our friendship is not normal, and we do everything
- 55:00Speaker 1: a couple does, except for have sex. He has never
- 55:03Speaker 1: shown any interest in dating me, but it's so obvious
- 55:06Speaker 1: that he likes me. Every time he gets a new girlfriend,
- 55:09Speaker 1: he shares everything with me about their relationship. He even
- 55:13Speaker 1: had a child a few years ago, and I was
- 55:15Speaker 1: there for him when things didn't work out with him
- 55:17Speaker 1: and the child's mom. He's perfect for me, and I
- 55:20Speaker 1: can't imagine my future with any other man but him,
- 55:24Speaker 1: With any man but him, I want to let him
- 55:26Speaker 1: know how I feel, but the thought of rejection terrifies me.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, what do you think can a man be
- 55:33Speaker 1: close friends with a woman and not have any feelings
- 55:35Speaker 1: for her? This is driving me crazy. I want him
- 55:39Speaker 1: and only him. Should I tell him? Well, yeah, I
- 55:43Speaker 1: think you should tell him. I really do. I don't
- 55:46Speaker 1: think you have anything to lose. I think you have
- 55:48Speaker 1: everything to gain. I think you should definitely take a risk. Plus,
- 55:53Speaker 1: I think he likes you too, like you said in
- 55:55Speaker 1: the letter, because he spends so much of his time
- 55:58Speaker 1: and his money with you. Okay, those things are important,
- 56:02Speaker 1: so he does that a lot with you, And that's
- 56:05Speaker 1: what makes me thinks he likes you. Not just you,
- 56:07Speaker 1: but he spends time with your family, and you spend
- 56:10Speaker 1: time with his family. I mean ten years, come on,
- 56:12Speaker 1: that's a long time. I mean, there should be nothing
- 56:15Speaker 1: that you can't share with this man, especially your feelings.
- 56:19Speaker 1: After all, you've certainly been there for him, I mean
- 56:22Speaker 1: with his girlfriends and his son and all of that.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I really think, I really hope that your friendship can
- 56:29Speaker 1: and will withstand it if you, guys do decide to
- 56:32Speaker 1: take this to the love level. You know, but you
- 56:36Speaker 1: gotta tell him first. Somebody has to break the ice.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Even if you try it and it fails. I think
- 56:43Speaker 1: I hope that you guys can can be friends and
- 56:46Speaker 1: come through it. People always say that you should be
- 56:48Speaker 1: friends first, and you guys are definitely that, And you've
- 56:51Speaker 1: been friends for ten years. That should mean something. Steve,
- 56:56Speaker 1: that's good. Assert it's cute. Come on so much? Got
- 57:02Speaker 1: scared to leave out of this damn letter. That's why
- 57:04Speaker 1: we have. You know I'm here for it. You know now,
- 57:08Speaker 1: this woman right here is in a dilemma. From ten
- 57:11Speaker 1: years flying in the town, live four hundred miles away,
- 57:15Speaker 1: pay for all your tenches to come see him, y'all
- 57:18Speaker 1: going family vacations. Yeah, y'all sitting up here doing everything
- 57:22Speaker 1: as a couple. Are you flying in see each other
- 57:26Speaker 1: several times a month? He paid for your flight, hotel
- 57:29Speaker 1: room meals whenever you go to visit. Then he come
- 57:33Speaker 1: see you, spend time with your mama, makes playing for y'all,
- 57:37Speaker 1: gonna see movies, concerts, plays, all this right here? Okay,
- 57:42Speaker 1: What the hell wrong? Then? Well let's go get to it.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Something is wrong because he doing all this, didn't you
- 57:51Speaker 1: tell her how you've been there for him? And he
- 57:54Speaker 1: had other girlfriends. He tell you all about him, and
- 57:57Speaker 1: he had a son a couple of years ago, and
- 57:58Speaker 1: you was there for him when it didn't work outween
- 58:00Speaker 1: the mom and the baby, the boys sleeping with somebody.
- 58:06Speaker 1: It ain't you. Why has he not made a move
- 58:10Speaker 1: on you? And why you want him so bad? And
- 58:14Speaker 1: he's so perfect for you, but he can't see that anything.
- 58:18Speaker 1: It could be one of two things only with a man.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Number One, he is afraid that if he makes a
- 58:28Speaker 1: move to you that it will destroy the friendship. And
- 58:32Speaker 1: he's just hanging around because there's something stupid about him
- 58:36Speaker 1: where he has not figured out that you have a
- 58:38Speaker 1: physical and a mental spiritual attraction to him. That's the
- 58:44Speaker 1: first option. That's the one that you hope it is. Now.
- 58:48Speaker 1: The second reason he ain't saying nothing it cause he
- 58:51Speaker 1: ain't attracted to you. Now is gonna be a definite
- 58:55Speaker 1: blow to your ego. So now what you gotta do
- 58:59Speaker 1: is he's told you about all his other girlfriend look
- 59:03Speaker 1: him up on Facebook and get a picture of them. Now,
- 59:08Speaker 1: if you ain't in the same arena, ask them girlfriends.
- 59:12Speaker 1: You have your answer. He's not attracted to you. That's
- 59:16Speaker 1: going to be hard. Now. Chances are I don't think
- 59:20Speaker 1: that's the case, because we don't spend money on No,
- 59:25Speaker 1: we don't. We do not spend time with people. We
- 59:30Speaker 1: are not attracted. We just dudes, man, And I'm sorry,
- 59:35Speaker 1: but we are just dudes. So I'm hoping it's the
- 59:40Speaker 1: first one that he's afraid that he would lose your
- 59:44Speaker 1: friendship before he's had the courage and the nerve to
- 59:48Speaker 1: make the move, because it's something about you that's so
- 59:51Speaker 1: special that he don't want to say that. I let
- 59:56Speaker 1: a girl get by with me for years like that.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Her name was Michelle p All through high school, even
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: through college. My god, man, you didn't say anything. Jess
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: wouldn't say. We'll have part two of Steve's Joe coming
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: up in twenty three after three hour Strawberry Letters, subject
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: today closer than close best friends Right after this you're
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Steve, come on, let's get
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: two at part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Closer than close best friends is the subject. Yeah here,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: this woman been friends with this man for ten years.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: They've done everything together, vacations flying four hundred miles away,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: he'd taking a plays concerts, going, take a mama out.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: They do everything together. Even the family then't joked about him.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Y'all in a couple, but he didn't have a relationship
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: with other women. Tell you all about him, y'all ain't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: never talked about this. I find it so difficult to believe.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: You mean all they said. I mean, but ain't hell
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: your hand in the moving nothing? Man? What's up? Y'all?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Just friends? Men don't do this. But he had a
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: baby with another girl a couple of years. You know
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that obviously broke. You heard that didn't working out. Now
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you're going, well, what about me? What about me? Where?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: What about you? Like I said, it's only two things
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: could be stopping this. He is so afraid of losing
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: your friendship that he's hanging on the outskirts thinking you
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: don't really see him that way, and he just hoping
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you come around one day. Men can do that because
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: men don't spend money on women that we're not attracted to.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: We just don't do that. I don't that's funny. I know,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: it's just funny. I'm just telling you that in a
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: crude way of putting out. I just want you to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: understand what it meant now. The other thing is he's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: not attracted to you, and that would be the most
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: devastating visa because nothing you can do can make him
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: attracted to you after ten years. But I seriously doubt
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: that that's the case, because he keeps flying to you. Man,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you mean something to this dude, And I got news
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: for you. He loves you. I have news for you.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Ain't no dude doing nothing for no woman for ten years.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: He don't love him. He might be onto something, sir,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I got it. He loves you and he wants to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: be in love with you, but he don't want to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: lose the love part, so he's scared of mentioning in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: love part. It's time to walk past his ass. Neked,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: go do something? Yeah, push? He was only walk right
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: in front of that damn TV and it acts like
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you're doing something else while the game is a cup
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: of coffee in your hands, some eyeglances and like you
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: read and just walk your ways right across that TV,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: straight naked. We fendn't find out right after that because
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I was now, if his comment is this right? He
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: did when you got pluck, baby, baby, you forgot to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: put your clothes on oh, we got a problem. But
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: if you walk past then you go, then you don't
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: hear nothing. But then you look back and he's staying
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: at it. Yea. Then you walk over there and set
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: your neck ass right next to him and act like
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: y'all friends and keep watching that game and see how
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: long that damn game. That naked is when you just
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: take your clothes bought ass net and walk around in
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: front of somebody to see you naked as Nike. You
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: walk in there so they can see you with the heels. Yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: not just naked, but it's two different things. And quick
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: coming to bed barefoot all the time, some damn heels
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: on and up to Auntie. Yeah yeah, coming in here
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: bad footing. You know, you look better with you with
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: you up on your toes. Lift that up, I'm with you, Steve.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Put that in the air. Hoisting the looks better in
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: the air. You ain't learn you'll find something real quick.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: So she's got to let them know you agree with that.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: For sure. She needs to do something. They need to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: break the ice you talked about ninety day, rude. They
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: didn't win nine year, ten years. Yeah, and he spent
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: a lot of time and money with her he has
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: never shown any interest in dating me. Who oh, that's
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: what she says in a letter. He has never shown
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: any interest in dating me. But it's so obvious that
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: he likes. Yes, if it's so obvious, let's he is. Yeah,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: then look take the rest. Look you got litmus tests,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you got pregnancy tests, you got they got cancer tests
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: out there. You can take an HIV test, you can
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: take a diabetes test. You gotta take the butt ass naked,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: got to take the test. It's a test. Everybody got
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: tests for everything. You're so obvious what we got a
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: way to find out? But you know you thank you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: obviously pregnant, But we gotta way to find out. You
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: think you obviously sick. We gotta way to find out. Man,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you ain't got to do that. I'm tearing up. I'm
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: trying to tell you time more time. It's the difference
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: between neck is when you come out the show. Neck
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: it is when you're taking a bad neck. It is
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: when you change and clothes for you get dressing. You
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: just neck it. But when you walk out in front
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: of somebody for them to see you come on him,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: that not become but as that's what we're talking about.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: This morning and get a couple of suggestions. The next
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: time you naked and you really want to get it,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: put a necklace on. What is that gonna do? That's
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: all girl? Did you just ask me what that's gonna do? Ye, fellas?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Fellas she come to bed necking with us a necklace day?
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Back about the mind. We gotta go, thank you, Steve.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: We gotta go email us or Instagram. We don't have
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: any time, Jake. We gotta go email us or Instagram.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: That's your thoughts to my girls, Shirley. Okay, thank you
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: so very much. All right, more of this crazy ignorant show.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the stew All right, Steve, you are the resident relationship
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: expert on the show, no question, uh. And you know
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: there are some folks involved in a friends with benefits situation.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You know a lot of people you know in those
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: kind of relationships. But there are boundaries, of course, as
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: in any relationship, you should still be honest and not
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: take the situation for granted. Though a few mishaps could
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: lend you back in the friendship zone with a quickness,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: of course, and even if the arrangement is super casual.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Then Tommy becomes the expert. You know, yeah, yeah, keep it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: So here we go, not being honest about your intentions,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: not being honest about not being honest about your inten Yeah.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: So Carl, how does this work? So Steve answers and
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Tommy comes back. Is that how? Yeah? Because Steve is
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: always saying that you can't have friends all right, So
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: if someone is lying or not being honest about their intentions,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: well you know, it's bad news for you because you know, uh, look,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: eventually all everything comes to light, you might as well
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: if you're just gonna be friends, benefits just being honest. Okay, money,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: here's the money. Let me hit this. Look yet, I
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: don't love you, Oh my gosh. I'm just being real
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: about what we're doing and what we're doing were vocol
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: with that. I'm honest by my intentions. We gonna do
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: this till we don't want to do this no more.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: This ain't aboudy no love. Matter of fact, we're doing
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: it from We can't even make eye contact because this
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: ain't love at all. Don't don't gaze at me, look
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: at me, look at me, or you look back at me.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Don't look back at me when we're in the moment,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: look forward, don't look back. Don't look back. That's that's
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: in the moment you love. Don't do that. Let's just
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: being honesty. That's brutally acting jealous not allowed good. Uh.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: You know it's a little tough man when you have
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: an arrangement and you know it's just friends from benefits
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: because the other person could have somebody, and so being
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: jealous is just you puppost to be able to play
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: a little bit better? Wait your turn? Ain't your turn? Waiting?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: With that part? When I show up with my wife?
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: What is your lip out? That is wrong with you today?

- 1:11:02Speaker 1: you know that's all it is, that's all it is.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: You really can't expect no more than that. Nobody always

- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of the day. You know, if you say you're gonna
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: be here, no, you should be here. It's an agreement
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: and arrangement that we have, that's true. Yeah, Because if

- 1:25:10Speaker 1: what have you all done with your time on the planet.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: called words, and black people on this show mess up,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: all right, So let's begin number one. This is easy.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: You do it a lot that dare Yeah, that's the word. Yeah.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I don't understand what the problem is that. Hey yeah,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: dare y. Look at man, You're gonna eat that day.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Oh my god. The correct way to say it. Jay
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and Junior and Thomas. Is that over there? Are you
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: going to eat that over? Take too long? That takes
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: too long? Here, go with that. That's how we get
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: a fasta. All right, let's move on. Get what we're
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: gonna do about that situation? Yes? That that over there?
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: Ye wrong? All right? Number two? About to No, it's
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: not about to about to. No, it's about to. I'm
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: about to. I'm about to go upside your head. I'm
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: about to go to sleep. I'm about to watch some TV.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: I'm about to eat that dead. It's I'm going to
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: or I'm about to. Oh no, not not about to,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: about to I'm about to disagree with you. Thank you guys.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: That makes sense. About to face. Yeah, she's about to crash.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm about to crab about that dad. Here's
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: another one. Here's another one. I hear this a lot show.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I'm post to temmy What is that I'm posting? I'm
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: posed bey off tomorrow, but I'm changed my man. I'm
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: posed to. But since since that dad and came up,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: what I'm about to come in that is incorrect. The
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: correct way to say it is supposed to. Can you
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: say that I'm supposed to? I said all the time
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: supposed to. I'm posed to eat dad, Dad, I'm about
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: to change my mind. That's that's all. And it's and
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: it's not supposedly supposedly poling posing. I don't want to
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: say it like that. Yeah, you correct, Come on with it, man,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: I don't want to come right now. Huh. People can
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: understand what you're saying. I don't understand. I didn't even
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: know it was supposed there's no supposed it's not supposed
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: to supposedly Okay, okay, alright, alright, see I'm saying, oh,
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: that's perfect. That's I can't even believe I'm saying. Okay,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Sim saying, let me tell you, Sim saying, yeah, what
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: you've been trying to do is correct, or Sim saying,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: we ain't gonna talk like that. Were supposed to be
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: talking like we talk, Sim saying, I just want you
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: to know there is a correct way of saying what
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: you said. I'm saying, no, it's do you see what
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: I am host saying and you can't see it? No way.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: This is going to hurt me. Shut it because I've
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: never spoken proper in my life. But I'm just letting
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: you know that there's another way to do things. Okay
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: with that, Dad, ain't I see? I'm saying you are
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: so wrong. This is when I hear Steve say all
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: the time, especially when he was on the road doing
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: end up Mom and them. Oh yeah, group of people,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: mamma involved. Yeah, that's what it is. And you're listening.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Last break of the day. We've had a great morning today, Yes, yes,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: we did. We have fun today. Steve. It's time for
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: you now to take us home with your closing remarks.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: What you got for us today, Steve. Today, I want
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: to talk to you about something. I was talking with
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Kire about it and he sent me something and I
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: thought this would be good because this is more of
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: a spiritual a piece of motivation for you. Because I'm
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: talking to people right now who believe that there is
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: a God. I'm talking to people who believe in God.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: If you're an atheist and all that, I ain't talking
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: to you no matter. You can just turn off right
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: now because I'm pretty sure you won't get this. But
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: if you're a person who knows God but you ain't
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: really that close to it, or you know him and
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: you believe in him, but you know, I mean, look,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: just maybe you ain't been down to church in a while.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Maybe you ain't been around no spiritual people in the wild.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: This is who I'm talking to. I'm talking to myself today.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: I'm talking to myself about a subject that I need
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: to remind myself of all the time, and I want
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: to remind you of this too. Listen to me. Don't
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: allow God's promises to fall on deaf ears because he
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: talking to you. See this is a real one, y'all.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Don't allow God's promises to fall on deaf ears because
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: he talking to you. See all of God's promises offer
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: each and every one of us. He's talking to us.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Don't get fooled and faith out here in life. That
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: God doesn't forgot about you, That God don't recognize your voice,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: That God don't seek what you're going through. That God
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: ain't got no feelings for you. That's a trick of
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: the devil. God loves you, man, He created you. God
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: has a space for you in his heart. But you
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: got to call on him. You know how many times
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: he even showed up on your behalf without you calling.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Imagine what would happen if you had a relationship with him.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Because all of you know that no matter how bad
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: your life has been. Don't you know it could have
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: been worse. I talked to inmates all the time to say, man,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I'm just feel grateful that I'm sitting here because I
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: could have been dead. I know people in prisoner who
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: have said to me, man, if I hadn't come to prison,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: I would be dead. I know people man who just
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: barely escape going to prison. If it wasn't for just
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: something that happened, I would have been locked up today.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: Don't you know that was him? Who else was it?
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: You think somebody put a call in? It saved you?
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Who put a call in and stopped you from getting
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: in that car? Little Steve Harvey when you were sitting
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: on them steps broke and your boys came by to
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: do this robbery and told you all you had to
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: do and drive. All I had to do was gonna
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: get in the car, and they were gonna give me
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: fifteen hundred. That's all I had to do. I wouldn't
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: have to get my coat. My partner's met me on
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: the porch and say, hey, man, just ain't what you do.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: You're gonna be somebody hard. I don't know what you're
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: gonna be, but you different from us. Let us go
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: on down there. If I get somebody, give you a
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: little something on it. Man, But don't get in this
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: car with us, because just ain't what you do. You
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: know who that was? That was God saving me, That
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: was God administering some grace to me. That was God
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: man who spared me. Two of them dudes that when
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: down there, they're still in prison. I'm on the radio.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you, go back, take inventory of
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: your life. You can find someway that God has done
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: something for you without you asking. Now suppose you had
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: a relationship with you. So what I'm going to tell
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: you real quickly is don't allow God's promises to fall
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: on death. Is because he talking to you when he
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: God promised to come to give you life and give
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: you life more abundantly. He talking about you. That's a
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: promise of his. He talking about you when he says
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: that you that you have not cause you asked not.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: He was talking to everybody. Most people don't have what
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: they want in life because they never asked God for it.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: It's one of the most important scriptures out there. You
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: have not cause your ask not? Why don't you asking?
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: You keep trying to figure your life out. Why don't
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: you ask him trying to figure out the next move,
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Why don't you ask him you want a better car,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: better home, better job, better family? Have you asked him
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: for it? When he said he would lead you beside
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the steal waters he was talking about shoot Jesus promises
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: he keep making to us. Don't let him fall on death.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Is because he talking to you. He said he'd be
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: there for you in times of trouble. Who you think
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: he was talking to? He was talking to you. In
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: his word, he said he would never forsake you. Who
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: you talking? Who you think he talks? He was talking
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: to you. That mean he will never leave you. He'll
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: never leave you. Man, But we leave him all the time.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: Didn't wonder where he had We left him back over there.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: He said in his word that he's a healer. He
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: talking about you. Don't let these promises fall on death.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: Is because he talking to you. He promised that he
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: would make a way out of no way. He talking
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: to you. Hide this little boy on this radio with
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: this stuttering problem, the one that flunked out of school,
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: the one that's on his third marriage, the one that
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: lost everything you ever owned, twice, the one that lived
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: in a car for three years high. He owned the
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: radio the day and all over the TV. Because God
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: will make a way out of no way. That's a
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: promise he made. Don't let it fall on deafens. Because
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: he talking to you that he would give you the
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: desires of your heart. He talking to you, he wasn't
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: just talking to meet. For all Steve Harvey contests no
