- 0:02Last time on no latency. I don't think that we
- 0:05necessarily need to go in with guns of blazing makes sense.
- 0:08Taking him in a way or like to the police.
- 0:10I don't know. To that guy, that was.
- 0:12For hire detective. It's Halloween.
- 0:14Honesty and directness are probably the best policy.
- 0:17A major suit straight. Ripper, Rudy.
- 0:20Well, Remy does drugs. Excuse me?
- 0:23I'm next and this is my. Entourage best friend.
- 0:27Did you happen to install Cyber Cyber?
- 0:30Fangs wovers and a sudden division is what he said.
- 0:35Mass murderer comes walking through.
- 0:37Oh. Whoop, how?
- 0:38Yeah, fuck you, Sparkle. I have been to his apartment.
- 0:40You've been to his apartment. I think we need to kill the
- 0:42vampire. Here's your vulva Max back.
- 0:44I did perform surgery on him. I'm on the sad.
- 0:46Stealthy it is. I'll just pretend I'm here to
- 0:49visit. I'll.
- 1:02I'll knock. And then we'll be on the other
- 1:04side of the door, like, you know, with our backs.
- 1:07Yeah, up against the wall. OK, good, good.
- 1:09I would like to, if possible, within the stealth roll that I
- 1:14made, take a small piece of duct tape from my back and have it
- 1:19palmed in my hand. Done.
- 1:22So they don't know that Iona Vendell or you Jeb are outside.
- 1:28So there is the potential for still having a covert option to
- 1:34sneak in. Well, possibly.
- 1:37Iona got a 20 for stealth hiding from the security camera.
- 1:42However, Vendell did roll a fail, so 9.
- 1:50I'm I'm, I'm going to stand next to VV.
- 1:52It's just US 3. Right.
- 1:56Well, obviously, yes, it is the doctor's assistant.
- 2:00What is it? Your intern from the college
- 2:04forgetting the college experience.
- 2:05What is that term that they say all the time?
- 2:09Intern. Is that what it is?
- 2:11I swear there was another. Term.
- 2:13There is another term. I know there's something that
- 2:19that like students do like I forget what it's called, but I
- 2:22know it. Medical students.
- 2:23Variants. No, like medical students do
- 2:25like a thing where they have to go a residency.
- 2:28Residency. Residency is president, yes.
- 2:31That's right. After you've graduated.
- 2:33We're very. Confident about this?
- 2:35Yes. Well, it it doesn't matter
- 2:38really. What we need to do is confront
- 2:46Dr. Glass, and that's what I'm going to do.
- 2:51Vivi just walks up. You knock on the door.
- 2:57I will Retro will stand to the side to let both of them in,
- 3:03holding the doorway with their left hand.
- 3:08Would they have palmed the piece of duct tape, hopefully aiming
- 3:12to cover over the locking mechanism?
- 3:16Oh, interesting. Oh yeah, sure.
- 3:18Roll something to do that. That's very cool.
- 3:21I like that. I'm gonna go with this one. 19
- 3:28Yes, very, very, very. What's the word?
- 3:36Quietly, Very, very quietly. You place this duct tape over
- 3:42the lock and if no one forces it, it'll stay open.
- 3:47That's what I'm hoping for. OK.
- 3:50People, please just go on in as a as a gentleman, I would be the
- 3:54remiss not to be the last one to go.
- 3:58Of course, I'll go first. I'm just.
- 4:02Going to I'm just going to stay back here.
- 4:05And Bendel and Vivi scooch into the room, followed by Retro.
- 4:11Doctor Glass is lounging on a sofa.
- 4:16You can see the red sky and mist of Night City behind you as the
- 4:20moonlight basks through the window.
- 4:23He smiles, his fangs sharp. I was wondering when you'd show
- 4:30up. You look different.
- 4:35Indeed, you're holding out on me, aren't you?
- 4:43I don't know if that's the terminology I would use.
- 4:46Perhaps you were holding out on the rest of us of what you
- 4:52actually were planning. I have always been jealous and
- 5:01petty, and however much I've had all of these riches, I've never
- 5:06been able to add metal through myself.
- 5:11He flashes his claws out and they retract back into his hand.
- 5:15But now, like Wolverine or like Sabretooth?
- 5:19Sabretooth. OK, good, important distinction.
- 5:24These are wolvers, so they come out there.
- 5:27Yep. I thought I'd never know what it
- 5:30felt like to be more than human. And now, thanks to the blood of
- 5:37that dead man, I might live forever and watch you turn to
- 5:44dust. I I don't understand why.
- 5:50Why were you doing all of this? I thought you were trying to.
- 5:55I thought you were trying to help people.
- 5:58I was well, it made me money. You do it for long enough and
- 6:03you have so much, and the one thing money couldn't buy was
- 6:09augmentation until I found your little runaway.
- 6:18That substance is wild. Makes you hungry though.
- 6:24Yeah. Yeah, it does.
- 6:27I dare say he does seem to be acting like he's been smoking
- 6:31some of that. What are the kids calling it
- 6:34now? The ganja?
- 6:36The wacky? The backy.
- 6:37Okie, Dokie. He's just gone full super
- 6:40villain is really what it is. I am quite intrigued by all
- 6:45these cyber kinetics that are on.
- 6:50So being a technician of myself, would you mind if I could see
- 6:55such amenities up close? Up close?
- 7:00Why yes, I would love to see how you were able to do that.
- 7:03To me. Are you saying that you would
- 7:08hurt someone like myself, Sir? I'm saying I've eaten in a few
- 7:14hours. So that's a general threat then?
- 7:18That's up to you. I'll take my chances, please.
- 7:23Please. I mean if you are too scared to
- 7:26allow me to take a look, I could completely understand if you had
- 7:31some shoddy type of connections and would be embarrassed.
- 7:37No, I found a good Ripper duck. I met him.
- 7:42He's not as good as you think. Feels good to me.
- 7:48Well, it feels good because he convinced your brain because
- 7:51it's cybernetically enhanced. So it tells you that it is when
- 7:53it's not. I mean, if you knew how to do it
- 7:58yourself, obviously you would see the shoddy work of it.
- 8:00But I mean, it's up to you. Believe it, I am a medical
- 8:03professional. Obviously not that well,
- 8:07interesting. If you're afraid to let me see
- 8:10the handiwork. I can understand.
- 8:12It's a common tactic that people that are self-conscious of their
- 8:15own work wouldn't want them to see.
- 8:17I I get it. Real persuasion.
- 8:24You you guys, I'm I'm just hanging out back here, but if
- 8:27you all need me, you just you just tell me in OK?
- 8:30It's all right. I'm.
- 8:32I'm back here too. I'm just behind the vending
- 8:34machine. Oh.
- 8:35My God, didn't even see you back there.
- 8:37I. I know I'm, I'm really stealthy
- 8:39today, but it, it's, it's our arm, we're around.
- 8:43The corner real quick. Just take a look.
- 8:44OK, All right, All right. I'm, I'm over here.
- 8:48OK, well, should we go up with some sort of sneaky plan or?
- 8:53My engine pro perception. Oh, hold on, you smell that?
- 8:59Wait, wait. No, I don't my.
- 9:02My fucking possession. 19 Yes, you discover on the wall over to
- 9:13your E, there is a vent not not a breeze.
- 9:22Gotta go take a look. Oh, would you look at that?
- 9:25What is it? A van.
- 9:27A vent. Yeah, a van.
- 9:29What do you think? I'd open open it up.
- 9:31Yeah, Well, yeah. Can you hear?
- 9:33Well, listen, can you hear them talking?
- 9:35Does it go to Doctor Glass's apartment?
- 9:39Well, it has to. Is there's the only one on this
- 9:41floor? Yes.
- 9:43You're right. I'm I'm going in, I'm going to
- 9:44try to, I'm going to open this up as as as non squeakily as
- 9:48possible. Oh, oh, I'm actually going to
- 9:50run over there. Oh, and.
- 9:53Roll stuff. Careful, careful iota. 18.
- 10:00Oh. Yeah.
- 10:02All right, so you switch across, I'm going to, I'm going to run
- 10:06over there and I'm actually, I'm going to squirt some sanitizer
- 10:12on them to Lube them up. Question mark.
- 10:15Question mark. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can Lube
- 10:17Jeb Romeo D10. Great. 5.
- 10:29Yes, you pass, Jeb. You are.
- 10:34You are lubed. All right.
- 10:36I'm just going to just going to open this up real slow like.
- 10:42Get plus one to this. Where is my steel throw?
- 10:49Is it under body? Yes, it is.
- 10:53Yes, you unlock. Bent all right, let me let me
- 10:59just let me get in here. I'm going to take a look and
- 11:02then you come in after me once I once I see the ghost clear
- 11:06sounds. Great, I walked out here for
- 11:09now. Oh, there's a fork in the.
- 11:12Oh, look. Oh, I couldn't come over here.
- 11:14I could have seen you in the in the other room from this angle.
- 11:18Well, that's good to know. There's nothing.
- 11:20There's nothing down that way. But of this.
- 11:23Oh, looks like there's another door, another, another hatch.
- 11:31I'm just going to open this one. I think we're on that time.
- 11:33Things are getting tense by the sound of this villain dialogue
- 11:37villain monologue going on over there.
- 11:40OK, I I'm going to squirt the latex gloves on my hands and
- 11:44then I'm going to follow Jeddah. Oh wow, Iona's going an event.
- 11:49I know, I know. It's a little musty in here.
- 11:52You might want to put a mask on. OK, pull out a mask.
- 11:58I'm not even going to argue whether you have one on you,
- 12:00because it's Iona. OK, just.
- 12:05And I just kind of crawl out and like slowly lower myself down on
- 12:10the other side. I think this might be some sort
- 12:15of oh Fisher oh, is this a is it a bed?
- 12:19That's a bed I. Think we're in his bedroom?
- 12:24Getting out of the way. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 12:25We're taking it all in. Is that a record player?
- 12:28Oh, it's kind of nice. What?
- 12:30What? What records he got?
- 12:34Check his record collection and it is.
- 12:36Also it is. Distracted as hell.
- 12:39B and CTM music. Oh my God, the the boggles,
- 12:46like, oh, look at this. They got, he's got.
- 12:50Oh, well, all right. You know, not a lot of people
- 12:52have heard of ancient dynasty. They ain't bad.
- 12:58The only record that seems interesting to.
- 13:02By Michael Jackson. No, there is a thriller sleeve
- 13:07but no record. However you do find radar love
- 13:12like golden era. Nice.
- 13:16Radar Love by Gold Night. Hey, actually he's in pretty
- 13:19good shape for being, what, probably 80 years old?
- 13:2390 years old. He's very rich.
- 13:27So you have discovered a very expensive record.
- 13:31I will say it is fragile. So if you, if you have to tell
- 13:34me if you're taking it or leaving it.
- 13:36Oh, that never crossed Jeb's mind.
- 13:38Is to. Is to to.
- 13:43Just take it. He's just like.
- 13:44No, that's pretty cool. Nice collection you got here.
- 13:46Puts it back. I am a.
- 13:49Lot good for him. Behind Jeb while he goes through
- 13:52Doctor Glass's record collection.
- 13:55It's is there any sort of computer or anything in this
- 13:59room? There's a locked door to your
- 14:00West. To the north there is a door
- 14:03that leads to the balcony. There is a there is a a desk
- 14:09with a built in computer in it, a closet and a bed all.
- 14:15Right, I'm notoriously bad with computers, but Jeb, there is a
- 14:19computer over here if. Oh.
- 14:22Maybe you wanted to take a look at it.
- 14:23I'm going to try this locked door.
- 14:25Well, I I guess I could. Oh.
- 14:29I don't know, I'm not really a computer guy myself, but I have
- 14:33been trying to pay more attention to to what Retro's
- 14:36been doing. Can't hurt, you know.
- 14:41Couldn't. Hurt couldn't hurt in in the.
- 14:44Least. He says as it surely will hurt.
- 14:50You know what I feel like this is a pretty let me just think
- 14:55here, what would Retro do? I feel like I would just take a
- 15:00look at this basic tech and see what he can find out. 5 Which
- 15:05button do I use to turn it on? You try and push a button and
- 15:11unfortunately break the button and now the computer is harder
- 15:14to use. Oh, man, these are, oh man, he,
- 15:18he. This looks like a nice keyboard.
- 15:19It's probably one of them mechanical ones.
- 15:21And oh, he ain't going to be happy about that.
- 15:26Well, well, maybe, maybe we should switch jobs because I I
- 15:30just tried to unlock this and I did somehow roll -2.
- 15:36Oh, out. That's a quick fail, yeah.
- 15:40You can't be using. I can't use a toothpick.
- 15:43Well, but a tooth, That's something.
- 15:45I. Had.
- 15:46Oh jeez. Retro Back in the other room,
- 15:51Retro is walking across the room towards Doctor Glass.
- 15:54That's part of the end of that conversation.
- 15:56As you are walking towards it, you hear the door to your east
- 16:00rattle and if you don't do something, Doctor Glass will
- 16:05notice. I'm just going to keep keep his
- 16:09eyes on me is the best thing. What is?
- 16:11What is Doctor Glass wearing, actually?
- 16:14Doctor Glass is wearing a long white trench coat.
- 16:18Like a doctor's coat, but just as a trench coat.
- 16:21Yeah, he looks like that. Oh, long white trench coat.
- 16:26Well, long white medical trench coat.
- 16:29Yes, green shirt, fuchsia tie. Fuchsia.
- 16:34Tie, sunglasses, great pants with yellow stripes on them and
- 16:40some pretty boring shoes. Not very fashionable for a
- 16:44vampire. Have you said anything about
- 16:47vampires? I.
- 16:48Mean, I thought you were going that with your little tooth
- 16:51problem. You've got there are you?
- 16:54I mean, I, I, I can forgo checking over you if you, like I
- 16:58said, you are too embarrassed by your obvious, you know,
- 17:04ramshackle connections. Have you even looked over
- 17:06yourself yet? Oh please roll something to
- 17:11distract me from that door. I mean, obviously we, I can
- 17:18already tell that part right there is miswired because I can
- 17:21see slight sparking from it and obviously you must be ignoring
- 17:26it because anybody can obviously hear it.
- 17:28No, no, no, you don't understand.
- 17:31It's not sparking, it's sparkling.
- 17:36Spark. Well, I would need to inspect
- 17:39that. He's one of those sparklers.
- 17:44It's unfortunate. You can really tell at this time
- 17:48of night, you know the twilight. Thank you.
- 17:56Shut up. Don't put another.
- 17:59I I just was watching on it so we.
- 18:02Can't let him keep getting away with this.
- 18:08Retro, you have successfully distracted Dr. Glass from the
- 18:12door. What are you trying to do as you
- 18:14get close to him? I just want to inspect his his
- 18:19hand without, well, not only his handiwork, but the Ripper Dr.
- 18:24and just kind of give him a look over.
- 18:26Is that OK? You're all Persuasion 22.
- 18:35He doesn't move, his two arms outstretched on either side of
- 18:39the sofa. He continues to sit.
- 18:43I'll just continue. I would just like to like open
- 18:45up jacket see if like is there any other cyberwear I can like
- 18:49kind of see that speaking out of any clothing Like what cyber
- 18:52wear do I see? You rolled 31, so the you see
- 18:56that in his trousers there's a slight indent where he's got
- 19:02some kind of compartment in his leg.
- 19:05Like the Volvo we found before? Yeah.
- 19:07Gotcha. A bit like Mark Zeiger had when
- 19:13he pulled a gun on Jeb. I'm.
- 19:15Just going to like parse away kind of like peeking under like
- 19:19at some of the clothing like this, his shirt like pull back
- 19:23his collar a bit and you know, notice.
- 19:25The distinctive metal housing around the back of his neck of
- 19:29the sand division. As you get closer to it, his
- 19:32emotions rise and you see it glow and pulse down his spine,
- 19:36and he gives you a narrowed look.
- 19:39Are you done? I'm.
- 19:42Just do look. I'm just trying to do my best
- 19:47and looking over. To be honest at the moment I'm
- 19:49feeling somewhat embarrassed because I seem to be wrong.
- 19:53It's so far looking pretty top notch.
- 19:56Well, it feels fantastic. I I I would agree while he's
- 20:02looking at me directly eye to eye contact wise and I've been
- 20:07patting him down, I'd also like to sneak a incendiary grenade
- 20:12into his pocket. OK.
- 20:15You can try I. I pulled the pen already.
- 20:19You can try, OK? You go to put it in his pocket,
- 20:23and you swear his smile changes from one state to another in a
- 20:28flash. It's like a a feeling of static
- 20:32in the air and you look down at your hand and the grenade is in
- 20:36your hand. Well, immediately throw it at
- 20:39him. Do you hear that?
- 20:43It sounds like maybe shit's about to go down.
- 20:47Possibly. Should we rush out?
- 20:50Did you hear like a like a Ting? You know, and and some like
- 20:54buzzing, a little bit of buzzing.
- 20:56A little bit of buzzing, a little bit of oh, oh not.
- 20:58Twinkling. Yeah, but roll to break that
- 21:01door open or unlock it, whatever you want to.
- 21:04Do I imagine this is like the question I suppose is has the
- 21:10has it, has the grenade exploded yet or not?
- 21:13If it has, I'm busting it down. If it hasn't, then I'm going to
- 21:15try to just like unlock it because I don't know what's
- 21:17going on. Do you have open comms?
- 21:21Are you hearing what's going on over the radio?
- 21:23I did mention earlier I made fun of his villain monologue and so
- 21:27I imagine yes open cause. So you know that you've just
- 21:31heard retro say bullshit and then throw something.
- 21:35Right. OK, OK.
- 21:36And I'm like, oh, oh, all right, it's happening.
- 21:38It's happening. Let go.
- 21:40All right, I own myself. Athletics 18 yes you burst the
- 21:47door open, boom it crashes open. It is.
- 21:51It is also now you have you have Retro is standing right next to
- 21:56Doctor Glass. Whoops.
- 21:58In that small amount of time, Iona, before everything goes
- 22:02down, as they say, did you do anything to the computer?
- 22:08I'm going to say yes I did. I'm going to say I just tried to
- 22:11restart it. Cool, yes that that happens.
- 22:15His computer is very good, so it restarts fine.
- 22:17Great. And then control alt delete.
- 22:21You control alt delete. What are you trying to?
- 22:23Do log in I suppose. Roll something for that.
- 22:28Sure. Roll to see if you can guess his
- 22:32mother's maiden name and his the name of his first pet.
- 22:37Sure, I'm going to use deduction.
- 22:40I am in his bedroom and there are pictures of his life around,
- 22:45perhaps some documents. So I will deduce with a 21.
- 22:51All of my all of my video game skills have told me that somehow
- 22:55you can deduce the password of anybody if you're in their room.
- 23:01You notice a very well kept photograph on the table.
- 23:06And on the back. It is a framed photograph of a
- 23:10woman. The photograph looks old because
- 23:13of the fashion that it is in. This photograph was taken a long
- 23:17time ago and underneath it a little metal plaque says the
- 23:21word Wendy. Wendy I I type in Wendy.
- 23:27We said. The E is a three though.
- 23:30Yes, you are correct in doing that the that.
- 23:34Wasn't deduction, that was just instinct.
- 23:36There are there are a bunch of terribly organized files on the
- 23:39desktop. He is very chaotic on his
- 23:42computer. A lot of them are just
- 23:45spreadsheets and invoices and various notes that make no
- 23:49sense. However, there is a icon on the
- 23:51desktop that says security. Security like click.
- 23:56You click it and it tells you that three turrets are not
- 23:59activated. Are not.
- 24:03Currently. Is there a little cog in
- 24:08settings where I can uninstall the software that the turrets
- 24:13are connected to? Yes, yes.
- 24:15There is, why not roll for it? Great.
- 24:21I'm going to put some luck into it.
- 24:24Great. I'm going to put three luck.
- 24:30Sure. It's a 21 for education.
- 24:35Does that include your +3? No 24. 2424 is defined inside
- 24:43pagred as a incredible act. Well.
- 24:48Done. Wow, that's literally.
- 24:49Like a. Ceiling.
- 24:51That is a very good role. Well done.
- 24:53Yes, you managed to disable Roll Me AD 6.
- 25:04Because you do not have a lot of time. 2.
- 25:07All right, you managed to disable one of the turrets,
- 25:10however you rolled so well it is the best turret.
- 25:13Hell yeah. So you know that there are three
- 25:16turrets somewhere in that room that are currently not
- 25:19activated. And then you hear Jeb kick a
- 25:22door open. Oh shit.
- 25:24And. Then I really am throwing an
- 25:26aid. Good.
- 25:28It's kind of tinkle here and he's preaching and he's
- 25:31clearing. I'm out of smoke grenades now.
- 25:36So you throw a smoke grenade. All right, Retro, where do you
- 25:39throw the incendiary grenade? In your hand.
- 25:42I throw it underneath the couch. Oh, interesting, interesting.
- 25:49All right, as well as try to roll myself backwards.
- 25:54OK, roll evasion and brawling. Jeb.
- 25:58Roll Brawling to throw your grenade.
- 26:00OK. As you watch this cavalcade of
- 26:06chaos happen before you, Vivi, you have anything to say before
- 26:10you. Yeah, I just as this is all
- 26:16happening, I look to Doctor Glass and I'm like, it didn't
- 26:21have to be this way, but you chose.
- 26:25You chose poorly. I'm sorry, Doctor Glass, this is
- 26:28it. You chose.
- 26:30You chose poorly. Chose violence.
- 26:34It's time to die. So it's so nonchalant, by the
- 26:40way, if you wouldn't mind. A cup of a Carpenter It's.
- 26:43Time to die, motherfucker. OK, interesting.
- 26:47And then. OK, OK, interesting.
- 26:56Good. Yes.
- 26:58It's never good when they see interesting.
- 27:00Yeah, right. Remy rolled Invasion 16.
- 27:05OK, and then you rolled 18 on Brawling.
- 27:12OK, so retro. You step back from the sofa, but
- 27:16not enough because you did not beat your own brawling.
- 27:20You rolled an 18. Doctor Glass also did not roll
- 27:23enough to avoid the incendiary grenade underneath the sofa.
- 27:29However, they do have a sound division.
- 27:31Yeah. So what happens is they do avoid
- 27:37the direct blast, but get caught in the circumference of such an
- 27:44explosion. Oh, the the force wave.
- 27:48The force wave of this incendiary grenade as the sofa
- 27:51itself bursts into flames. Oh boy.
- 27:55Damn. Things are about to get crazy.
- 27:58Both Retro and Doctor Glass are now on fire.
- 28:03Oh no. And it is time to roll for
- 28:07initiative. Initiative.
- 28:09Initiative Night City.
- 28:26If you look at a map of North America, somewhere on the
- 28:28western edge you'd see an inky black dot with fingers pressing
- 28:32into the side of the continent. That's where you find Night
- 28:34City. And somewhere in the middle of
- 28:37that inky black dot is a giant smoking hole, like the universe
- 28:41itself drew iron and shot straight through the city.
- 28:44Radiation turned the sky red. But our story starts a little
- 28:49further South, in a dive bar the shortstop.
- 28:53Welcome to Night City and welcome to Cyberpunk Edge of
- 28:56Extinction. Infinite Sided Dice presents
- 29:01Cyberpunk Edge of Extinction, a Cyberpunk Red actual play.
- 29:04Watch now at youtube.com slash at Infinite Sided Dice catch you
- 29:10later chums. Oh wow, Jeb.
- 29:26Holy shit, yeah. Oh, I mean, Jeb also did throw
- 29:32that smoke grenade. So then I.
- 29:34Did. What results from that?
- 29:36We'll get there, I'm sure. We'll get there.
- 29:40And this explosion of fire goes off, it catches into the smoke
- 29:47and you see this streak of red through the smoke that fills the
- 29:53centre part of this room. So you see this cloud of smoke
- 29:58in the Riddle middle of the room.
- 30:00And it is in this moment as Jeb watches Retro and Doctor Glass
- 30:04burn for incendiary. Ah, there we go inside of.
- 30:09Bajillion damage. I don't think it's a lot OK
- 30:19grenade. Just if you could just put the
- 30:26the the damage of the grenade also in that, that would help.
- 30:33Oh, for me. Are you talking to R Talsorian
- 30:35right now? I'm.
- 30:36Talking to Al Talsorian, right? Now to Mr. R Talsorian.
- 30:40Yes. To Robert Talsorian.
- 30:46Indeed it's. Well, the wiki sentence 66 and
- 30:52two damage each round until put out.
- 30:54Yep, thank you. However, it is partial for both
- 30:59of you, so I'm going to say 3D6 OK, because you both did
- 31:02partially get out of it. And the couch took the brunt of
- 31:05it. The couch did take the brunt of
- 31:07it, and it is now on fire. So there is now a problem.
- 31:10A flaming couch. Yeah, there is a flaming red
- 31:13couch. Couch is red.
- 31:15That way the blood stains don't have a problem.
- 31:19OK, nine damage for Doctor Glass and he is now on fire.
- 31:26That's the same for me as well, yeah.
- 31:28No, you roll your own. Oh, oh God.
- 31:31Oh God, this is 13 damage. And your armour, because it is
- 31:35fire, it's ablated by two. So it's Doctor Glasses, by the
- 31:38way. Fuck.
- 31:41And and it is gemstone. Jay was going to, you know,
- 31:49after buffing down the door, throwing that smoke grenade over
- 31:52there. He's going to just run over.
- 31:54He's going to, there's this table here.
- 31:58Can I can I kick that down to use this cover?
- 32:01Yes, but only if you roll athletics.
- 32:03OK, I guess I can do that. Oh no, you cannot.
- 32:07You're trying maybe? It's it's a very flab of.
- 32:11Concrete mixture of both and you go to lift it up and it does
- 32:15nothing. The unfortunate the unfortunate
- 32:18side effect of this is that you do not gain any cover and you
- 32:21hurt yourself by touching this concrete table very quickly for
- 32:24six damage. Oh.
- 32:25Mate, oh so good. Oh man, got to sprain my ankle.
- 32:29They're trying to kick this thing.
- 32:30Where? Who's this thing made out of
- 32:32solid concrete? Oh shit, it is.
- 32:35Yeah, no, that's made of solid. You can tell because of the
- 32:37texture and the way it looks and the fact that it is Gray.
- 32:39Yeah, OK. I there, there's a lot going on
- 32:41right now, Van Dale. I don't need to hear from you.
- 32:43Bang Bang. Who are you shooting?
- 32:45Oh, him I see. Roll for it.
- 32:50Bang Bang, Bang Bang, Doctor. Glass F8.
- 32:55Damn. Getting hit the first hit by the
- 32:581st bullet because you rolled a 25 and a 28?
- 33:02Holy Moly tries to avoid both, but unfortunately takes hits
- 33:08your first. Your first shot does hurt him,
- 33:13he takes a decent hit. You watch some of the blood pour
- 33:17from his side as the embers of the fire around his body starts
- 33:21to dwindle as he gets to a position of about to roll over.
- 33:25However, your second shot does not 'cause enough damage and it
- 33:28glints off some of his armor doing nothing.
- 33:32Well, sheer. Who is this guy?
- 33:34Fucking immortal or some bullshit.
- 33:36He has a lot of cyberwear and SN devaston, so we we should
- 33:43probably think of some other strategies.
- 33:46He's pretty good. Are you OK Retro?
- 33:50Retro is currently on fire. Stop, drop and roll.
- 33:54Oh that's why I asked to roll back because I was pretty sure I
- 33:59was kept on fire. But we'll see how the DF rolls
- 34:02it. I'm going to tell you all I have
- 34:05to now roll to see if the next thing that happens can happen.
- 34:08Oh, it can't. That's a one.
- 34:11It's a one with a -, 7 So because of the fire that's
- 34:15happening, you watch him try and reach into his pocket to grab
- 34:18something and he is unable to. You have a suspicion that he had
- 34:22some aid in mind that he does not have the ability to activate
- 34:26right now and it is Metroster. Well first I would like to ask,
- 34:37did my saying I was rolling back after that count as being able
- 34:45to help put out the fire when that happens or do I still need
- 34:48to do that? Like putting out the fire, does
- 34:51that require my action? It requires your movement
- 34:54because I would argue if you burn all of your movement I will
- 34:56let you put the fire out. Be warned, if you agree to this
- 34:59I will give that same thing to any NPC.
- 35:01OK, your movement wise, I just have to burn it all, that's all
- 35:08right. Yeah, you burn you.
- 35:10You will move one square away from the fire in order to do so,
- 35:13but you will burn it all. Yes.
- 35:14OK, so I can only move one square.
- 35:16Yes. All right, I will use that to
- 35:19roll my ass to behind the the couch here.
- 35:24Because there are three couches in this living room.
- 35:27The one that was next to the on fire because I just moved
- 35:31diagonally. And now that you have rolled the
- 35:34fire off yourself, you pat yourself down and you are merely
- 35:37singed. You do not take any more damage
- 35:39because that was the first thing you did on your turn.
- 35:43We fucked up my suit though. Yes, yes it did.
- 35:46Luckily it's not your regular wear.
- 35:47No, it's not my really good suit.
- 35:49Though no it is not. It is costume piece.
- 35:52Yeah, and the fun's over now. That's why I'm not using the
- 35:54voice anymore. Unfortunately.
- 35:58If there's something else, then I'm just going to have to take a
- 36:01shot. 23 All right, let's have a look.
- 36:06See I. Think that's within range?
- 36:08Yep, and OH tries to dodge and fails, jumps up onto the dining
- 36:19table, but you still manage to hit him for 16 damage, which is
- 36:25enough and he takes a decent hit.
- 36:27Well, well, I have to give credit to Jeb about that because
- 36:32Jeb has been, as I've been teaching him some technological
- 36:35stuff, Jeb has also been teaching me to track somebody
- 36:41moving, moving and try to shoot ahead of where you think they're
- 36:45going to be. Now usually the bullet moves
- 36:49pretty fast, but with slow moving, slower moving
- 36:53projectiles, you're going to want to leave that shot.
- 36:56This is a This is a flashback of us shooting cans on a conveyor
- 37:01belt and an abandoned like, sushi restaurant, you know, that
- 37:06has the little thing that goes around.
- 37:08That's a basic. I remember that place, it was
- 37:11really good before they closed down for health violations.
- 37:14And while Jeb and Retro reminisce about shooting cans in
- 37:18Night City, Iona is sitting at the doorway to Doctor Glass's
- 37:25bedroom, peering out to the battle that's ensuing.
- 37:29What do you do, Iona? Doctor Glass is unaware that I
- 37:35am there. I'm.
- 37:38Going to say yes. They are unaware that you are
- 37:40there. Great.
- 37:42I'm going to shoot at him because I think that I should
- 37:48get some sort of sneak attack bonus or something.
- 37:51You are quite far away from him. He's in.
- 37:54He's in the middle of the room in front of you.
- 37:56In order to get a decent shot, you'd have to slide into the
- 38:00room a little bit. I'll slide into the room a
- 38:02little bit and I'll take my shot.
- 38:04Cool, I'm going to take this as a surprise attack.
- 38:08Your move is 6. Great.
- 38:15Yeah, you, you managed to get behind the sofa next to VV
- 38:18passing Vendel and you have a clear shot.
- 38:20That's only 25 feet. How does 21 do for you?
- 38:2721 does the chestnut what? What are you shooting?
- 38:31It's the one with 46 I believe. That's the Super Chrome.
- 38:34Yeah, you rolled a 21. That is enough.
- 38:36You you hit him as long as he doesn't evade.
- 38:40Fingers crossed. Don't evade, Don't evade, don't
- 38:42evade. He pulls back off the table.
- 38:47Roll damage. Great shot Iona 46.
- 38:52Great. Oh yeah, OK, that is 15 plus
- 39:00handgun. I don't know what my handgun is.
- 39:04No, no damage is just straight D sixes.
- 39:06Oh yeah, never mind, that's 15. 15 did you get 2 sixes?
- 39:11I did. You did.
- 39:13I did. That is a critical injury,
- 39:16everybody. Nice, get him. 2D6.
- 39:23I've got that stand a busy. A3 and A58.
- 39:26You watch him fall to the ground and as he tries to break his own
- 39:30fall his leg goes down weird and you hear a snap in his lower
- 39:36femur and he lies on the ground like.
- 39:44Great show ad. Told you some of that shit was
- 39:47shoddy. And Supercrumb only shoots once.
- 39:52Yep. And so Vivi, right next to you,
- 39:55takes her action. Oh boy.
- 40:00Well, I suppose I'm also going to take a shot at him.
- 40:04I hope it lands because he's going to be fast and speedy.
- 40:08But now he has a broken leg, so good job Iona.
- 40:13Thank you, thank you. I don't usually make my shots,
- 40:15so that felt good. All right, I'm going to shoot.
- 40:19Pull out this Andrew. Hello Cutie Ultricate assault
- 40:22pistol and take the shot. 21 Your damage, as always, is
- 40:32pants. I'm really sorry.
- 40:34I know. He attempts to roll.
- 40:37Now, the only reason he's able to do this with a broken leg is
- 40:39because he has a sand division, so he attempts to roll sideways
- 40:43to avoid the bullet rolling a 23.
- 40:46The bullet flies past him and hits the glass behind him.
- 40:49It shatters into a spider as your bullet sticks into the
- 40:53bulletproof glass. You can shoot twice with that
- 40:57gun. I can.
- 40:59Let's try again. 21 again, great shot, really good, better damage
- 41:05too. He goes to avoid rolling a 17.
- 41:08He doesn't quite get it right, he gets hit in the side. 49
- 41:12damage which is above his armor and he does take damage.
- 41:21Your shot is successful. Do you do anything else with
- 41:24your turn because you still haven't moved?
- 41:27There. Yeah.
- 41:28I think I'm going to just move closer toward him, believe it or
- 41:32not. Oh, right.
- 41:33I don't know if I can vault over the I vault over the couch and
- 41:39take a few steps toward him. Hell yeah, I'll just let you do
- 41:43that. That's dope.
- 41:44After then six after that successful bullet, you have the
- 41:47confidence to lightly jump over a sofa and you're now standing
- 41:51in the middle of the room pointing at him as he lies on
- 41:53the ground. However, I.
- 41:57Know. Doctor Glass's turn and he looks
- 42:02up at you and with a grimace resets his leg.
- 42:09You see blood pour into his trouser leg as it seeps in.
- 42:14There's a cracking noise, this feeling of flesh.
- 42:28The glass stands up and you see him place his foot down, and now
- 42:34he can take all of his weight on both legs.
- 42:37He somehow miraculously healed himself.
- 42:41Oh. Shit.
- 42:45As I told you, that blood was exquisite.
- 42:52He flexes very suddenly and out some compartments on his legs,
- 42:57ripping through his trousers. I will admit as he has now
- 43:01rolled around on the ground enough to not be on fire. 3 tiny
- 43:09robots. They flutter out of him and they
- 43:14have little bat wings. I made them custom, I thought it
- 43:21was fitting. Thematic.
- 43:24Yeah, really leaning into the whole I guess vibe, huh?
- 43:31Oh yes, it keeps. Quite corny actually.
- 43:36He pulls out a dart gun and points it at Jeb, firing.
- 43:41Oh shit. CBB when you when you mess
- 43:46around with with that body fool bite, this is what happens.
- 43:50This is how you get vampires. Is this what you wanted to get
- 43:52vampires? No, this is not.
- 43:55This is not what I wanted, no. Jab be at 15.
- 43:59Puts a finger up. Folks confused, slightly happy.
- 44:03And they had. Whoa shit.
- 44:06What the hell was that? Was that a Was that a fucking
- 44:10dart? What's in that dark?
- 44:12Hey, you got to tell me what was in that dark.
- 44:15No, just something to life in the mood.
- 44:18I don't lie the way you said that.
- 44:19It clinks in the ground and and breaks.
- 44:22That's a little weird. The toxin inside seeps into the
- 44:26ground and lets off a little hiss.
- 44:30That so? So it was acid then?
- 44:35Would somebody kill this guy please?
- 44:37Dodge an 18 guys. I.
- 44:40You're shooting me again. You just did that, man.
- 44:46Come on. I'm going to.
- 44:47I'm going to get below. I'm going to get on the
- 44:49underside of this table and then it's going to be real hard to
- 44:51hit me. Maybe you can jump over the side
- 44:56of this couch. I'm standing next to you.
- 44:59Then how will you feel? And then there's a green flash
- 45:03and you see a gust of wind move through the room as you feel
- 45:07that static in the air. He does, however, dash through
- 45:11the smoke, and by doing so dissipates it completely.
- 45:16For some of you, Doctor Glass is in full cover.
- 45:20For others, he is not, and it is Fendel's turn.
- 45:24Gang, I really think we're going to have to come up with a
- 45:27different plan here. He's going to heal himself, and
- 45:30this is not going to be as easy as we think.
- 45:33He serves that. He's faster than us, he's
- 45:37stronger than us. I don't, I don't know what to
- 45:40do. Well, I mean, we could keep
- 45:45shooting them or maybe we got to like.
- 45:51We need some sort of. Fire.
- 45:52We did that. We need some sort of like wombo
- 45:54combo, something like we can do all at once.
- 45:59Can we like RIP his head off or something?
- 46:01That I've seen that work sometimes on vampires and other
- 46:05times you got to get them right in the heart.
- 46:08Other times flowing water sometimes will do it.
- 46:12Garlic sometimes does it. Holy symbol.
- 46:15Sometimes somehow I feel like that one ain't gonna work.
- 46:17I like the Highlander approach. I like the head, like, is that
- 46:21right? The Highlander approaches.
- 46:23Yeah, you have. The person's head off to take
- 46:25the. I I also like the head approach.
- 46:27We take his head. BMI have a question when I
- 46:31inspected said doctor beforehand, did I notice that
- 46:35Like he was pretty like firm thought like like he had he was
- 46:40much dense, he was very dense or did he still feel very human
- 46:44esque like soft, fleshy? With the amount of cyberwear
- 46:48that he had, you're surprised that he even has basic
- 46:52cognizance. He's teetering on the edge of
- 46:56cyber psychosis. I I think he's already fallen
- 46:59over the edge of cyber. OK, I was just, I was trying to
- 47:05figure out if this is our like dealing with, you know, the
- 47:09like, more fantasy lore vampires where they're like very stout
- 47:13and vulnerable, or if we're dealing with like done by Dusk
- 47:16vampires where they're like squishier and like a baseball
- 47:20bat could knock a head off. The sound division is made of
- 47:23metal. It goes up his the back of his
- 47:27neck. That's going to be tough to
- 47:29breakthrough with a baseball bat.
- 47:30Then that somebody rips it out. Yeah.
- 47:33Unless somebody rips it out. Does that answer your question?
- 47:37Yes, cool. What does Vendel do?
- 47:40Well, I, I guess, do we think Vendel can grapple and somebody
- 47:45can who's who's next in initiative?
- 47:48Vendel. No, after Vendel.
- 47:51Jeb. Jeb.
- 47:53Sure, Vendel, why don't you grapple him and then we can RIP
- 48:00the Sandovizian out of his neck. Do do you want me to take the
- 48:03bat bots first or shall I go for him?
- 48:07Oh yeah, kick down those bat bots, Yeah.
- 48:09You got it. And then and then Dell jumps
- 48:12across the room onto the table and goes to attack the bat bots
- 48:17glass sword. We're just, we're just gonna do
- 48:19brawling. We're just gonna do kicks.
- 48:21Sure. That's going to be 22. 22.
- 48:25Yes. Yes, that is very good.
- 48:28I need you to roll that again. 19. 19 OK Oh, that's bad.
- 48:35Oh, that's nothing. All right, so we we we have
- 48:39three different kinds of things happen.
- 48:42Bendel jumps over to where these bots are floating and in a
- 48:50moment of skill misses one of them which scooches back towards
- 48:55Doctor Glass. But the other one failed their
- 49:00role and the third one rolled A crit fail.
- 49:04So Vendel smacks them into each other causing oh that's really
- 49:11good, that's OK and excellent. Yes very good.
- 49:17That's enough to blow up one of them and one of them explodes.
- 49:21The other one is blow half health and is now having trouble
- 49:23flying. You watch it sort of, where as
- 49:26it gets to a much lower hovering position.
- 49:29Good job pindo fuck. Yeah, I did a thing.
- 49:34He's a pretty Hardy motherfucker, yes.
- 49:37I'm like 10 points away from seriously wounded.
- 49:42Oh no. Well.
- 49:45The 13 in a blast is not good. No, it's not.
- 49:49And after this heroic moment, with Vendel now standing on the
- 49:53dining room table, it is once again Jeb's turn.
- 49:58Well, you know, I suppose we should get rid of the things
- 50:01that we can get rid of before we figure out how to get rid of the
- 50:05bigger guy who we're having trouble getting rid of.
- 50:07So I'm going to Bang, Bang these two dual drones, yes.
- 50:10Sure, roll for it. 28 and 24 they are robots so they don't
- 50:19get to dodge and one of them has 11 health so it explodes.
- 50:27Yep. Chip and you watch it disappear
- 50:29from the field. The other one is still holding
- 50:31on with just a little bit of health, again floating very low.
- 50:36Well, at least you took care of one of them.
- 50:39Someone should get rid of that last one. 2 down, one to go.
- 50:43And it's retro step, yeah. I would like this is also right
- 50:49here Is outside right? Or is that a wall about the that
- 50:52is the inner balcony that is technically still inside the
- 50:54building In front of you there's a a indoor piece of glass, a
- 50:59decorative one on the other side.
- 51:00It is shattered because VB shot it.
- 51:02Oh, so I can't go through it? It's bulletproof.
- 51:05You know that because VB's bullet didn't didn't break it to
- 51:08the ground. It's just OK spidered.
- 51:11I'm going to make my way to the window.
- 51:13Make it your. Way I'm going to quit my brass
- 51:20knuckle and then I'm going to pull my pants down over my ass
- 51:26and moon the Doctor through the glass.
- 51:29Oh my God, roll a performance check that's really funny.
- 51:35That's not the only full moon you've seen tonight.
- 51:37Oh my. God.
- 51:41Did I do a funny? Was it good?
- 51:43It was pretty good. Yeah, I'll give you that one.
- 51:45Thanks, Jeff. I I guess acting this is only
- 51:47acting in performance. Yeah, you, I mean also in
- 51:50theory, contortionist. Oh yeah, let's go.
- 51:53Fortunate because I got that shipped so I get a + 2 + 4.
- 52:00That's still a 12. That's not bad.
- 52:02It's literally above average, right?
- 52:05That's not. It's.
- 52:09Mildly distracted. It's a waxing moon, really.
- 52:12It's a waxing moon and now what are you holding?
- 52:16Your attack action? Is that what you're?
- 52:18Doing yes I am. Iona, behind the sofa, takes a
- 52:21moment to decide her next move. I mean, I've got him thoroughly
- 52:25distracted. Guys, come on.
- 52:28I got 2 pressed hands here that he cannot keep his eyes off of.
- 52:33Yeah, you know what? I've I've been shooting him
- 52:35pretty good, so I will. I'm actually going to hold my
- 52:41shot. If he.
- 52:43Turns around while then Dallas trying to grapple.
- 52:48Done. Fair enough, Iona use skirt
- 52:51across the room so you have a better angle at Doctor Glass.
- 52:53Perfect off on the sofa. You couldn't quite see him very
- 52:56well, and you use all your movement to do so, prepping your
- 52:59gun against the edge of this dining room table, and Vivi
- 53:04takes her action. Do I take out the second drone
- 53:08here? All right, I'm going to take my
- 53:10movement toward him. Excellent and I am going to try
- 53:22to stun him. So I switched to I have AI have
- 53:31a stun baton and a stun gun. I don't know where I got the
- 53:33stun baton from. That's a long time ago.
- 53:36Probably Chad. Probably I'm just trying to see
- 53:39what does more. Which is more likely stun?
- 53:44Gun you can do from a distance. Stun baton.
- 53:47You'd have to get into melee range with this guy.
- 53:49Yeah, that's kind of scary. I think I'll keep my distance
- 53:52here and pull out my stun gun and try to shoot Tim Fair.
- 53:58Roll for it 22 Holy shit damn holy moly you will accept.
- 54:03That's really good. Oh, I I should draw it on the
- 54:06sheet? I'm sure he'll somehow resist
- 54:09this. Yeah, but it's got red fire too.
- 54:12That's true. That's true.
- 54:13That's. Bad.
- 54:18It rolls in 18 trying to avoid you.
- 54:22He steps wrong and gets hit by the Taser.
- 54:30So you cause 7 electrical damage?
- 54:34Cyberwear. What about cyberwear?
- 54:36I'm actually going to say it causes more damage than your
- 54:38average human. So instead of 3D6 I want you to
- 54:43roll. Wow, Tracy, that's two threes
- 54:46and A2. Damn, my damaged dice are always
- 54:50shitty. Your damaged dice are always
- 54:52shitty, however in this moment they are not going to be.
- 54:56I would like you to roll two more D6 because he has a lot of
- 54:59internal cyberweight, adding seven to that roll for a total
- 55:02of 14 damage. It does not blade armor because
- 55:06it is electrical damage. But you do do do do do.
- 55:12But you do do do damage. But you do do damage, is what
- 55:16I'm saying. You watch him go underneath half
- 55:19health. You're a medical professional,
- 55:21You know what that means? And he puts his hand down and
- 55:25there's an errant scalpel from his very close operating area
- 55:29here at the very top of his apartment, and it goes straight
- 55:32through his hand. Fuck.
- 55:35All right, he's not looking good.
- 55:37Someone smash. Someone grab.
- 55:40OK, I guess I can grab. Not too good at smashing.
- 55:45You will get to grab when it's your turn, Jeb.
- 55:49I'm just saying that I'll be the grab and not the smashing.
- 55:51Right now, it is not your turn. It is Doctor Blase's turn.
- 55:55And what he's going to do is instead of moving, he's going to
- 55:58pull this scalpel out of his hand.
- 56:01You hear the flesh and blood spurt forward in front of him.
- 56:05Jeb, roll. Resist torture drugs.
- 56:07Oh boy. Takes the scalpel and he throws
- 56:12it at VV. Oh Lord.
- 56:14Throwing knife. OK, whoa.
- 56:18There it is. Roll Evasion VV18I rolled.
- 56:24It's a four. That's enough.
- 56:27You're lucky I only needed one more.
- 56:30The scalpel goes flying past you and sticks into the table next
- 56:33to Bendel. Oh shit.
- 56:34Holy shit. And he lunges towards you with
- 56:37his wolvers. Oh.
- 56:39God. As he makes his lunge since I
- 56:42said I wanted to hold my action. Sure.
- 56:44Oh, can I use the rest of my movement to run and tackle?
- 56:50Yes, but you have to beat his attack.
- 56:53OK, and if I fail it's because I forgot to pull my pants back up.
- 56:56That is hilarious. Out of his fingers come these
- 57:01blades. Fingernails.
- 57:03Not bad. You can definitely avoid that.
- 57:05I think there there's still the possibility there.
- 57:08VV beat a 14, did not roll well. The first swipe misses.
- 57:13Retro rolled 19. So what's really cool is you
- 57:18both avoid this attack. He goes in with his Wolvers to
- 57:21slash at Vivi. Vivi expertly takes a little
- 57:25step back and bumps into the bat Robot whoops you on the back of
- 57:28the head. Doesn't hurt you, it's just
- 57:29spreading and Retro jumps forward to grab Doctor Glass
- 57:34from behind. Put a roll of brawling trip
- 57:37there. He's not, yeah, not enough.
- 57:40And he doesn't get free from your grasp.
- 57:42You've now held him from behind. Wait, who's who's holding?
- 57:46He's going to be doing the holding.
- 57:47I tackled Dr. Glass as he was trying because I helped my
- 57:52action when I moved in with my ass.
- 57:56All right, I guess I'll do the smashing then.
- 57:58I know it's on my turn. I'm just.
- 58:00It's Vandel's time. Can Vandel assist in the
- 58:03holding? Go go for the knees.
- 58:06Wait, no, open his jaw. I.
- 58:09Thought I was ripping its spine out.
- 58:12Why the hell he'd be fine? Not a.
- 58:13Sword but. Maybe he'd be sword.
- 58:16I'm just saying maybe you could like open up his jaw a little
- 58:18bit and I could shovel frag grenade in there.
- 58:20You. Know what?
- 58:22Yeah, but they'll just just. Just stick.
- 58:25The the the Then they'll stick the the sword through the neck.
- 58:29You got it. Gets 23 bitch.
- 58:33He gets a -1 because he is grappled.
- 58:41Oh, that's funny. They meet.
- 58:45Oh no. And the sword goes into Doctor
- 58:48Glass's neck, and it goes through his neck by passing his
- 58:53windpipe and clinks into the sand.
- 58:55Divisia. You hear hiss.
- 58:59Dr. Glass's body gets covered in this overcharge of electricity.
- 59:05Retro that's not good for him Yeah, you take 9 electrical
- 59:16damage and let go of him. Oh, this is Glass falls forward.
- 59:22Retro, you fall backwards. You are singed.
- 59:26As you know from Tracy's attack, you cannot gain a critical
- 59:31injury from electrical damage according to the step block, so
- 59:38you are merely just prone on the ground.
- 59:41Bendel takes their second hit. Now fuck be a 16 bitch.
- 59:48He gets -2 to this because his health is very low.
- 59:52Buck. Hold on, I would like to use one
- 59:58of my inspirations. Oh.
- 1:00:04To make that big last reroll. OK, well I just rolled a crit 30
- 1:00:09so that is a good choice 17. Much more manageable.
- 1:00:16Much more manageable. I tried.
- 1:00:19Because also, I said -2 didn't I?
- 1:00:21So that's seven. That's, that's enough.
- 1:00:23Vendel beats Doctor Glass and with him on the ground, swipes
- 1:00:28their sword across his neck and pulls at the sand of Vizier.
- 1:00:32He screams from the ground as the sand of Vizier is slowly
- 1:00:36pulled from his body, the bolts pulling out of his skin.
- 1:00:39Then Del finishes off by slicing around the neck and holding it
- 1:00:43straight up to his very jaw. There's a moment where he looks
- 1:00:48into Vivi's eyes. He smiles.
- 1:00:52I'll always feed the monster you create.
- 1:00:56Shut the fuck up. Vivi's a good person.
- 1:01:02And then Bendel puts the sword through the chest and clinks it,
- 1:01:07and then offers the end of the sword to Vivi.
- 1:01:10Through his heart, Vivi with the back, through the metal and the
- 1:01:13bone. You hear the sound of Doctor
- 1:01:17Glass's flesh coming back together.
- 1:01:19You have moments to do this. Vivi is trembling actually in
- 1:01:26this moment, those words just sting in her ears for a second.
- 1:01:31But Vendel's words, I think, bring her back to a reality that
- 1:01:36she has just a few seconds to do this.
- 1:01:39So Phoebe takes the sword from Vendel and stabs through his
- 1:01:48heart and just with the edge of her heel of her foot pushes it
- 1:01:57and seals it all the way through.
- 1:01:59The sword digs through Doctor glass, pinning him to the
- 1:02:04ground. Blood pours out of his mouth and
- 1:02:08out of his back. He's covered in wounds.
- 1:02:12Parts of the sound of is still attached to him spark and
- 1:02:15render, and eventually all that's left is a trembling hand.
- 1:02:20You're unsure if he's doing it or if it's just a leftover
- 1:02:24response, but it continues to knock on the ground, knock,
- 1:02:30knock and stops. Well, looks like the eternal
- 1:02:42life really had a limited time offer on it.
- 1:02:46In this silence of retro, says this poignant line, the bat bot
- 1:02:51wavers in the air and falls to the ground, obviously supported
- 1:02:54by Doctor Glass's cyberware, causing a mild explosion behind
- 1:02:59VB, shocking everyone, kind of ruining the mood.
- 1:03:03Oh, oh, so so we be is your is your Batman a wood?
- 1:03:11No, it's a regular steel bat, not a wooden bat.
- 1:03:18Are you sure we shouldn't like I don't know anyone, anyone got
- 1:03:20like a like a stick or something, you know, just
- 1:03:23something wooden. I feel like, you know, wooden
- 1:03:25stake through the hearts. He's that.
- 1:03:28Champ always Sure, we've double checked.
- 1:03:31I take my combat shovel and just finish cutting the rest of the
- 1:03:37head off. It's very difficult, and of
- 1:03:40course there's a chip in the in the corner of your combat
- 1:03:42shovel, but I'll let you do it for free.
- 1:03:44Yeah. You say, you say Chip.
- 1:03:47I call that battle Scar. Character.
- 1:03:51So now there's a bite at the tip of your combat shovel.
- 1:03:55Double S name. Now it's.
- 1:03:56Bite oh that's good that's good. You kind of scratch that into
- 1:03:59the into the spade. That's nice.
- 1:04:04Well, I guess the city's down a an asshole, but I actually think
- 1:04:16we got some time to go back to that Halloween party.
- 1:04:20What do you think? I mean.
- 1:04:26Maybe we should. Celebrate at the bar.
- 1:04:28Yeah, I. Might want to.
- 1:04:30I'm almost seriously wounded, so I think I need a nap.
- 1:04:36I'm ready to just go back. Well, you know, I actually
- 1:04:40haven't ever, you know, I've either been living out of Vanna
- 1:04:45White or, or at the bar. And of course, you know, we
- 1:04:48never get any trick or treaters at the bar because it's kind of,
- 1:04:51you know, faux pas for children to enter a bar.
- 1:04:56But I've always been curious of as to the whole trick or
- 1:05:00treating thing. And I never got to hand out USB
- 1:05:06sticks to kids as is tradition, of course.
- 1:05:11I thought if any of you guys got, you know, a house or
- 1:05:17apartment or something to do, you think maybe I could do some
- 1:05:22trick or treating? Sure, Jeff, you can come to my
- 1:05:25place and we can. Well, hold on, I'm going to.
- 1:05:30VV lives in a nicer area. We can.
- 1:05:32We can make that. Well they do live in a nicer
- 1:05:35area, that's to be fair. They probably have better candy
- 1:05:37than. Can we go to your apartment and
- 1:05:41give out candy maybe like. Yeah, actually that sounds nice.
- 1:05:49I'm going to take some of the the scraps of the burning couch
- 1:05:53that's just smoldering, OK, and use that on half of my suit.
- 1:05:58OK. And I'm going to change the face
- 1:06:01on my my TV face to now look like A2 face from Batman.
- 1:06:06Amazing. I knew you were doing Harvey.
- 1:06:08Then I knew it. Well, my suit got fucked up, so
- 1:06:11how else am I going to? What else am I going to have for
- 1:06:12costume? It's a nice pivot.
- 1:06:16The other, the other pivot I'm getting at is that like, there's
- 1:06:19a lot of blood here, Jabrol resist torture drugs, and maybe
- 1:06:24it's time we shed a little life instead.
- 1:06:29Yes, you pass. Well, you know, as a disgusting
- 1:06:35and sort of, you know, thematic, I suppose today I'm not going to
- 1:06:43drink that blood off the ground. Instead, I just want to.
- 1:06:48I just want to curl up, maybe have a nice little spiked cup of
- 1:06:52hot cider with my friends and hand out definitely not
- 1:06:58poisonous candy to random children on the street.
- 1:07:03Sounds good, Jeb. Yeah, because Two's the season.
- 1:07:08It's the reason for the season. Next time on no latency.
- 1:07:26Wow. Well meow, they look good.
- 1:07:29Do you have 4 ears now or? Go go, go get some therapy.
- 1:07:32This. Is my therapy.
- 1:07:33Ketamine Therapy. He sounds maybe problematic.
- 1:07:37He didn't know. It doesn't have the jamming
- 1:07:39problem I. Don't think we'd do that.
- 1:07:41I mean we at least give it some sight and then decide to kill
- 1:07:45it. It's true, a lot of people in
- 1:07:46Height city are just very hostile.
- 1:07:49Not city universe. Library trip.
- 1:07:52My reading comprehension isn't super high to be honest with
- 1:07:56y'all but. Sorry, I was polishing my Canon,
- 1:07:59I didn't know what what's going. On we just pay our fees.
- 1:08:01We should probably pay our fines to the library anyway.
- 1:08:03Got to respect the school rules. I respect institute.
- 1:08:07My old stomping grounds. Let's see what's changed.
- 1:08:10Rolling like fire tonight. You checked out the Gutenberg
- 1:08:13Pop A. Cleaning fee excuse.
- 1:08:15Me some sort of protest? Why would you put duct tape over
- 1:08:18your mouth if you were going to respond to questions, Yeah.
- 1:08:20Why tie yourself to the bench if you're going to fight the man?
- 1:08:22He's the Dean. He went from professor to Dean.
