- 1:48Speaker 4: Who wouldn't come me?
- 1:58Speaker 9: Come on your thin huh? I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 9: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 9: one and all that Steve Harvey Man oh Man got
- 2:11Speaker 9: a radio show, yep. Trying to make it work too.
- 2:14Speaker 9: I'm not trying. I'm getting it. I'm getting it done
- 2:19Speaker 9: to the best of my abilities. Now. Something funny my
- 2:23Speaker 9: father taught me. He said, son, when you've done all
- 2:27Speaker 9: you can do, if you've done your absolute best and
- 2:32Speaker 9: you look up and it didn't get the job done,
- 2:37Speaker 9: take a deep breath and do some more. That used
- 2:42Speaker 9: to bug me, man, when my father used to tell me.
- 2:45Speaker 9: That's the son, when you've done your absolute best and
- 2:49Speaker 9: you think you can't do no more. You've done all
- 2:52Speaker 9: you can and it still don't get the job done.
- 2:56Speaker 9: Take yourself a deep breath and do some more and
- 3:02Speaker 9: you know what I found that has worked every single time,
- 3:08Speaker 9: every single time, because what my father knew was that
- 3:14Speaker 9: what you think is your breaking point or what you
- 3:18Speaker 9: think is your all in all, he says, son, it's
- 3:22Speaker 9: just something about it. Man, if you just gather yourself,
- 3:26Speaker 9: you got a little bit more. Everybody got some more.
- 3:33Speaker 9: And I you know, I gotta be honest with you.
- 3:36Speaker 9: It has worked. It has helped me greatly. And you
- 3:41Speaker 9: know it. Everybody does have some more. You know. I
- 3:44Speaker 9: tell that to my sons all the time. Dad, I
- 3:46Speaker 9: did my best. Well, let mess you something else. Could
- 3:49Speaker 9: you have done anything else? Could you have studied a
- 3:52Speaker 9: little harder, Could you have shown up a little bit earlier,
- 3:55Speaker 9: could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah, well then
- 4:00Speaker 9: okay that's what you should have done. Then see, there's
- 4:04Speaker 9: always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 9: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 9: why you don't get it done, I have a very,
- 4:13Speaker 9: very sad a statement for you right now. You're never
- 4:18Speaker 9: gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 9: Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:26Speaker 9: you can get a third of the whey up, you
- 4:27Speaker 9: can get three quarters of the why up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 9: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:33Speaker 9: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:38Speaker 9: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 9: the drive and the gut riching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 9: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 9: It's just the top. There ain't but one top. Then
- 4:55Speaker 9: the middle done, ain't it? You know? The top, the
- 4:58Speaker 9: top of the mountain. It's a different view at the top.
- 5:02Speaker 9: Things look different from up top. So if you want
- 5:05Speaker 9: to get to the top of whatever your profession, your field,
- 5:11Speaker 9: your career, whatever it is, you got to do extra.
- 5:17Speaker 9: You have to do more. More is expected of you. More,
- 5:21Speaker 9: but he is what's really crazy. More is required of you.
- 5:26Speaker 9: Don't live your life in a laxadaisical state. Don't wake
- 5:30Speaker 9: up every day with the feeling of, well, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 9: whatever happens happens. No man have a say so in
- 5:37Speaker 9: your life. You. First of all, let me ask you something.
- 5:42Speaker 9: Who has God? Name the person that God has given
- 5:47Speaker 9: authority over you. Name the person? But who is the person?
- 5:52Speaker 9: Nobody has domain over you? God didn't create that person.
- 5:57Speaker 9: So what you're sitting here for man, what do you
- 5:59Speaker 9: say here for letting people who do not know direct
- 6:04Speaker 9: your path? Why are you worried about all these people
- 6:08Speaker 9: with what they got to say about you and all
- 6:10Speaker 9: these people with what they got to think about you?
- 6:13Speaker 9: When here's the news flash, they don't know either. All
- 6:18Speaker 9: these people that you overly concerned about, all these people
- 6:23Speaker 9: that you go into these answers for, they need answers
- 6:26Speaker 9: to stop. What are you doing here? Gother yourself for
- 6:32Speaker 9: a minute? Here is a solution to all of that.
- 6:36Speaker 9: You have one source that will be there for you
- 6:40Speaker 9: to the end of time, and that is your relationship
- 6:44Speaker 9: with God. That is the one thing that's solid and
- 6:47Speaker 9: for show. He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell.
- 6:52Speaker 9: He rides with you in the police car. He's with
- 6:55Speaker 9: you on your job up at the school. He's down
- 6:57Speaker 9: there in the board meetings with you, goes with you
- 7:00Speaker 9: when you travel on plains. He says with you when
- 7:03Speaker 9: you're in a relationship. He helps you with your parenting skills.
- 7:08Speaker 9: He helps you. He's there to assist you. He show
- 7:10Speaker 9: if you do the right things, he show you and
- 7:12Speaker 9: guide you to your next job. When you lose your job,
- 7:15Speaker 9: and you think it's a rap. There's some good behind it. Man,
- 7:19Speaker 9: God is always working on your behalf. To those that
- 7:23Speaker 9: believe you, just gotta believe. He don't ask you for
- 7:25Speaker 9: nothing else. Believe in me. That's all He asks you
- 7:28Speaker 9: to do. What you're tripping for. Man, And then when
- 7:31Speaker 9: you make the decision to believe in Him, and it
- 7:34Speaker 9: comes out your mouth from time to time somewhere what
- 7:38Speaker 9: you're worried about, what people say, What you're worried about,
- 7:40Speaker 9: what they think for? Why who are they? They need
- 7:43Speaker 9: God to you telling them you found something new that
- 7:47Speaker 9: you're gonna give this a shot right here. Now. They
- 7:49Speaker 9: got some yang ying yang and some yak of the
- 7:51Speaker 9: yakh to say about that when they need God too.
- 7:55Speaker 9: That's what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 7:58Speaker 9: be knocking your dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,
- 8:02Speaker 9: do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create
- 8:04Speaker 9: no laws. Why I can't do mine? That don't make
- 8:07Speaker 9: no sense, man, that makes no sense at all to me.
- 8:12Speaker 9: You have the right to go be whatever you want
- 8:14Speaker 9: to be. You know if you don't, you don't like
- 8:17Speaker 9: the fact that I'm in school, got my head bowed down,
- 8:20Speaker 9: and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 9: Just don't buy your head. Don't you pray. But if
- 8:25Speaker 9: some kids want to get together, that's some crazy mess.
- 8:28Speaker 9: That's what happened in our schools. We took prayer out
- 8:30Speaker 9: of schools. Now look at our schools. You send your
- 8:34Speaker 9: child to school and someone else comes back home. That's
- 8:39Speaker 9: a whole nother thing right here. That's not what I
- 8:42Speaker 9: want to talk to you about. But I was just
- 8:44Speaker 9: throwing it out because you know, hey, man, your relationship
- 8:47Speaker 9: with God is essential to your success as a person.
- 8:50Speaker 9: It's essential to your existence. It's essential to where you're
- 8:53Speaker 9: trying to go and what you're trying to be. Because
- 8:56Speaker 9: He made you. Why would you not talk to the
- 8:59Speaker 9: person that made you to find out what he created
- 9:02Speaker 9: you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who made
- 9:06Speaker 9: your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 9: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 9: why you got made? That don't make sense to you.
- 9:18Speaker 9: If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation. You're
- 9:21Speaker 9: sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you locked up, you
- 9:24Speaker 9: doing some time, man, be a good time for you
- 9:27Speaker 9: to refle But whatever your situation is man, God can
- 9:31Speaker 9: get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 9: the courage to wherewith all the understanding everything you need,
- 9:38Speaker 9: the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
- 9:41Speaker 9: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 9:44Speaker 9: God every single day of my life. And what He's
- 9:50Speaker 9: done for me man off the chain. But guess what
- 9:55Speaker 9: he'll do the same thing for you. You're listening, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 9: and gentlemen. You know what I don't know. I can't
- 10:10Speaker 9: explain his laughter. It's funny, but it's really it's joy.
- 10:18Speaker 9: It's a combination. It is really really amazing what God
- 10:25Speaker 9: does for you. By waking you up in the morning.
- 10:28Speaker 9: I mean that it's a clear sign from God that
- 10:32Speaker 9: he ain't through with you yet, y'all. I want y'all
- 10:35Speaker 9: to wake up and look at this the right way.
- 10:37Speaker 9: If God was through with you, if he didn't have
- 10:39Speaker 9: his hand on you no more, you wouldn't wake up.
- 10:43Speaker 9: So try to look at it this way. Every time
- 10:46Speaker 9: I wake up in the morning, I realize that He
- 10:49Speaker 9: has awakened me again because obviously He has something else
- 10:54Speaker 9: for me to do, receive, accomplish something, and he wakes
- 11:02Speaker 9: me up so I can get to that. That right there, man,
- 11:07Speaker 9: is a game changer if you could understand, if you
- 11:10Speaker 9: could take on that notion when you wake up. So
- 11:14Speaker 9: when you wake up, man, and you realize, Man, what
- 11:17Speaker 9: a blessing it is? But how good is it to
- 11:21Speaker 9: be co signed by God Almighty? I will give you
- 11:25Speaker 9: a measure of health and here you are another day,
- 11:28Speaker 9: this incredible gift called the present. That's why they call
- 11:33Speaker 9: it the present, because that's what it is. It's a
- 11:35Speaker 9: gift and we get to enjoy it whenever he wakes
- 11:38Speaker 9: us up. That's how I look at it. Man, If
- 11:40Speaker 9: you take that on it, morning has become a whole
- 11:42Speaker 9: lot of it. And I wasn't always a morning person.
- 11:45Speaker 9: I got trained to become a morning person by a
- 11:48Speaker 9: guy named John Walker in Rochester, New York. I was
- 11:52Speaker 9: laid off from Ford Motor Company. I had signed up
- 11:54Speaker 9: for Amway and I was laid off, and so I
- 11:57Speaker 9: was sleeping late. He would call at six am every morning,
- 12:04Speaker 9: Steve John Walker, how you doing?
- 12:06Speaker 6: Man?
- 12:06Speaker 9: Hell? Whoa hey? Man? Have a great day? Click and
- 12:10Speaker 9: he'd hang up. And he did that every day for
- 12:14Speaker 9: a month till one morning he called me, Steve John Walker,
- 12:20Speaker 9: have a great day. Man, how you doing? And before
- 12:24Speaker 9: he could hang up, I said, John, John, look man,
- 12:28Speaker 9: it's early man. You don't never say nothing. Click. He
- 12:33Speaker 9: hung up, and so he did it again. I picked
- 12:37Speaker 9: up fall I said hello. He said, why do you
- 12:39Speaker 9: wake up like that? I said, what you mean, man,
- 12:42Speaker 9: I'm sleep He said, but when you wake up, why
- 12:45Speaker 9: do you wake up man so grumpy, so down, like
- 12:49Speaker 9: like you know, man, like I'm bothering you. I said, John,
- 12:51Speaker 9: it's six o'clock in the morning. He said, yeah, man,
- 12:55Speaker 9: but it's something you never had before. He said, this
- 12:59Speaker 9: is a gift for God. I'm really disappointing you that
- 13:02Speaker 9: you're not getting a lesson. So I thought about it.
- 13:04Speaker 9: So the next morning I said, I'm gonna be waiting
- 13:06Speaker 9: on this dude right here. He called me at five.
- 13:09Speaker 9: He called me at six o'clock the next morning. He said,
- 13:11Speaker 9: Steve is John Walker. How you doing? I said, hey, John,
- 13:14Speaker 9: how you doing? It's Steve Man, I'm doing great. He said, nah,
- 13:17Speaker 9: That's what I'm talking about, and he hung the phone up.
- 13:20Speaker 9: And for a month after that he called me every
- 13:23Speaker 9: morning and I got up and I get up at
- 13:25Speaker 9: five fifteen. Knocker, what you're not finna do? Is look
- 13:28Speaker 9: at me and think I am I don't know nothing.
- 13:30Speaker 9: I'm stupid. I don't get the lesson correct. And that's
- 13:32Speaker 9: what changed me into a morning person.
- 13:35Speaker 3: All right, man, John.
- 13:38Speaker 9: Rochester, New York.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Coming up, Junior is going to run that prank back
- 13:42Speaker 3: right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 8: You're listening, Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 3: All right, it is time for Junior, who's in for
- 13:49Speaker 3: the nephew to run that prank back? What you got
- 13:52Speaker 3: for its Junior?
- 13:53Speaker 10: Okay, Shirley man this morning. So I'm going ahead, signd
- 13:55Speaker 10: like I'm up in the morning. Man. Your daughter, beit
- 13:57Speaker 10: my son, that's what it is.
- 13:59Speaker 9: Your daughter?
- 14:00Speaker 10: Hit my son?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Come on cat, Hello, Hello, let's be to Kira.
- 14:05Speaker 11: This is Kia, Kira.
- 14:07Speaker 12: This is Karrie.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Look do you do you do your daughter go to
- 14:11Speaker 2: little academy?
- 14:12Speaker 13: Yes?
- 14:13Speaker 9: Who's it?
- 14:15Speaker 7: Yes?
- 14:15Speaker 14: Who's this?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Listen? Your daughter?
- 14:17Speaker 14: Then bit my son. H Joshua one on the back,
- 14:20Speaker 14: my daughter. This is Wilton. Your daughter.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Then bit my son.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Well, Wilton slows down. You can't just call my house
- 14:27Speaker 7: and tell me my daughter.
- 14:28Speaker 14: Bit you say and be cussing at me, lady, I
- 14:31Speaker 14: just said your daughter Sekira bit my son Joshua in
- 14:34Speaker 14: the back, and.
- 14:35Speaker 11: I just said no.
- 14:36Speaker 7: I just said no. Two things. One my daughter wouldn't
- 14:38Speaker 7: bite nobody, and two, don't call my house with this tone.
- 14:42Speaker 14: I called with any kind of tone I want to
- 14:44Speaker 14: call with. All I'm saying is your daughter then bit
- 14:47Speaker 14: my son in the back.
- 14:48Speaker 9: And I'm gonna tell you.
- 14:49Speaker 7: All I'm saying is don't call my house with this
- 14:53Speaker 7: attitude saying something that my daughter beat your child in
- 14:56Speaker 7: the back. My daughter has manners and she wouldn't be
- 14:58Speaker 7: biting nobody in the back.
- 15:00Speaker 9: What did he know?
- 15:02Speaker 14: How the hell you know what your daughter gonna be doing?
- 15:04Speaker 14: If you ain't there to.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Raise my daughters, ain't you just come in one month
- 15:11Speaker 7: to try to do some kind.
- 15:12Speaker 8: Of daddy work your dall they be four years old?
- 15:15Speaker 2: How nail you don't you know her that?
- 15:16Speaker 11: Damn well, I've been with her for four years.
- 15:19Speaker 7: What you being? My daughter does not be biting people
- 15:22Speaker 7: around in the back of the neck or anything like that.
- 15:24Speaker 7: What the hell is wrong with you'll call my house
- 15:26Speaker 7: with this attitude?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Well you what I get?
- 15:28Speaker 14: How the hell you figured I'm a weekend daddy, I'm
- 15:31Speaker 14: calling you about what's going on with my child?
- 15:33Speaker 7: Uh huh? But I don't think you got your facts straight.
- 15:36Speaker 7: So next time you call somebody to tell them about
- 15:38Speaker 7: their child, figure out everything about your child first.
- 15:42Speaker 14: Oh I'm saying, is that the people at the academy saying,
- 15:44Speaker 14: Sekira bit my son Joshua? What in the back?
- 15:48Speaker 7: Well, I can't understand what you're saying because I don't
- 15:50Speaker 7: like your tone. So don't call me about my baby.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Have her mama call me.
- 15:55Speaker 14: It doesn't make no difference if a mama or daddy
- 15:57Speaker 14: call along. Was somebody call hello, call her back?
- 16:00Speaker 11: Then Hello is this caroll?
- 16:03Speaker 9: This is why you hanging up on me?
- 16:05Speaker 7: Why are you still calling me? And why are you
- 16:07Speaker 7: yelling at me? My child didn't bite your child in
- 16:11Speaker 7: the back. When I picked up my child, they didn't
- 16:13Speaker 7: say to me your child bus fight in the back?
- 16:15Speaker 7: My child my child every day, Like I said in
- 16:18Speaker 7: the first lady, you must be some kind of weekend daddy.
- 16:21Speaker 7: How come I know my child. I'm with my child
- 16:23Speaker 7: every day?
- 16:25Speaker 11: You are you, I'm with my I don't.
- 16:27Speaker 7: Even know who Joshua is. She should have just hit
- 16:29Speaker 7: him in the head.
- 16:30Speaker 14: Hey, what you ain't gonna do is sit here and
- 16:32Speaker 14: talk about my baby.
- 16:33Speaker 9: Now you asked me to lower my tone.
- 16:35Speaker 11: I know what I'm gonna do.
- 16:36Speaker 7: I'm gonna hang up one moment.
- 16:38Speaker 14: Lawyer, Hello, Hello, call.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Her back, cat Hello, don't.
- 16:46Speaker 14: Hang up on me, no more, Lady again, I'm gonna
- 16:50Speaker 14: call you until you tell me why your child has
- 16:53Speaker 14: beat me? Is it just bite my child in the back.
- 16:55Speaker 7: I am not in the mood to play with you
- 16:57Speaker 7: right now.
- 16:58Speaker 2: You and your child? You know what?
- 17:03Speaker 7: Whoa whoa whoa? Guess what sha care got a daddy?
- 17:06Speaker 7: You're talking about whooping somebody's sake of daddy? No, you
- 17:09Speaker 7: have else to say. You can't call my house and
- 17:12Speaker 7: threaten me and my job. If my child beat up child,
- 17:15Speaker 7: that's what your child desert. He got whooped, daughter, whooped
- 17:19Speaker 7: your sons. This probably won't be the last time a
- 17:22Speaker 7: little fast not in those kids get this fake facts.
- 17:28Speaker 7: She didn't bite them in the back. She might have
- 17:30Speaker 7: walked his jaded don't playing now? Like why keep talking?
- 17:37Speaker 7: You found my phone number, find my address and have scars.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Daddy beat cho what I said? Bring your phone over here.
- 17:44Speaker 7: My babies, Sam, whip your babies. My baby daddy gonna
- 17:48Speaker 7: whoop yo, Bring it on.
- 17:50Speaker 11: I'm coming over the beat you and your child, Daddy.
- 17:53Speaker 11: You don't call a woman and tell her you coming
- 17:55Speaker 11: over to.
- 17:55Speaker 7: Beat behind the child. You come over here and beat her.
- 17:58Speaker 7: Daddy's come over here.
- 17:59Speaker 11: And beat your kids.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Daddy.
- 18:00Speaker 9: He he don't want none of me.
- 18:03Speaker 7: You don't want it.
- 18:04Speaker 9: I'm on my way over that now.
- 18:07Speaker 11: Somebody get daddy.
- 18:12Speaker 9: He ain't got no damn job.
- 18:15Speaker 11: He got a job.
- 18:16Speaker 9: Y'all gonna make me come over that tonight.
- 18:18Speaker 11: Bring it right now.
- 18:19Speaker 2: You know what. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 18:21Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell me something else.
- 18:22Speaker 9: You gonna get bit and.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Your baby gonna get bit too.
- 18:26Speaker 7: You gonna bite me and my baby gonna whoop?
- 18:29Speaker 9: Yo?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Can I say something to you?
- 18:31Speaker 11: Say something to me?
- 18:33Speaker 15: Nephew.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Time it from the Steve half In morning show. You
- 18:37Speaker 2: just got pright.
- 18:41Speaker 11: Oh, I am shamed.
- 18:44Speaker 9: You just got pregnant. Your sister Glenda told.
- 18:47Speaker 7: Me they couldn't give me.
- 18:51Speaker 2: She said give my She said, you always talk about
- 18:53Speaker 2: time and never give me that.
- 18:56Speaker 7: I told her that wouldn't happen to me. But you
- 18:58Speaker 7: can't call somebody to.
- 19:03Speaker 9: Know.
- 19:07Speaker 11: That's where it can.
- 19:08Speaker 9: Men.
- 19:08Speaker 7: Don't don't call nobody about you. Got my heart hurt?
- 19:11Speaker 2: Look?
- 19:11Speaker 9: Can I ask you something?
- 19:12Speaker 14: Let me ask you, what if the baddest radio show
- 19:16Speaker 14: in the land's.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:19Speaker 10: You there you go, Shirley your daughter, bet my son,
- 19:25Speaker 10: your daughter, bit my son.
- 19:28Speaker 12: Man, Okay, can I just ask you tell you something?
- 19:31Speaker 12: Can I just give you some flowers? You know, on
- 19:34Speaker 12: the first break you told the story about getting up
- 19:36Speaker 12: early in the morning. And I never looked at get
- 19:39Speaker 12: that in the morning the way you just presented it.
- 19:41Speaker 12: It's the morning. You ain't never had it before. Man,
- 19:44Speaker 12: So we just thank you for the lessons that you
- 19:45Speaker 12: do teach, man, because you ain't like you out here
- 19:48Speaker 12: just talking to me or talking to us. You actually
- 19:50Speaker 12: teaching us something to make us better people, Make us
- 19:52Speaker 12: better people, make a better man out of it, make
- 19:55Speaker 12: a better man for a lot of people.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Man.
- 19:56Speaker 9: We just want to say thank you brother something. Man.
- 20:00Speaker 9: We all have a choice in the morning. We have
- 20:04Speaker 9: a choice every day to decide who we're going to be.
- 20:08Speaker 9: God gives us all that right. You could be a
- 20:10Speaker 9: good person or bad person. You get to pick. You
- 20:13Speaker 9: can be a positive person or a negative person. You
- 20:15Speaker 9: get to pick. Yep, And so I chose. I choose
- 20:20Speaker 9: to be a more encouraging person. An uplifting person as
- 20:26Speaker 9: a part of I'm not gonna be a part of
- 20:28Speaker 9: a trash tabloid or a trash blog that destroys people
- 20:32Speaker 9: and talks about people and revels in the misfortune of
- 20:36Speaker 9: other people. I choose not to be that way. I
- 20:39Speaker 9: choose to be more of a positive, uplifting person. The
- 20:43Speaker 9: glass is either half empty or half full, and you
- 20:46Speaker 9: look at it all. My glass is always half Yeah, okay.
- 20:51Speaker 3: All right, thank you Steve, Thank you, Junior. Coming up next,
- 20:54Speaker 3: it is asked the CLO.
- 20:56Speaker 8: You're listening morning show.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:02Speaker 3: Diddy had a court appearance yesterday and was denied bail again,
- 21:07Speaker 3: but he did receive a court date. And did you
- 21:10Speaker 3: see former President Barack Obama campaigning for a vice president
- 21:14Speaker 3: Kamala Harrison Philly. We'll talk about that. He did his thing.
- 21:19Speaker 3: You know, he is a great orator. That's all coming
- 21:21Speaker 3: up at the top of the hour. But right now
- 21:24Speaker 3: it is time to ask the CLO our chief Love Officer,
- 21:27Speaker 3: Steve Harvey. Here we go, Steve Clo. Sophia and Texarcana says,
- 21:32Speaker 3: one of my coworkers has come to work in my
- 21:35Speaker 3: clothes that I donated to a thrift store. I knew
- 21:39Speaker 3: she was having a rough time after her divorce, but
- 21:41Speaker 3: I didn't know it was that bad. Is it okay
- 21:44Speaker 3: to offer her my clothes so she doesn't have to
- 21:48Speaker 3: buy them?
- 21:49Speaker 8: That's a nice gesture.
- 21:50Speaker 9: Well, I mean, your heart is in the right place.
- 21:55Speaker 9: I would invite her to lunch and become more of
- 21:58Speaker 9: a free in to her first, and then kind of
- 22:01Speaker 9: feel the situation out. Girl, Let's have lunch sometimes. How
- 22:05Speaker 9: you doing get her to open up like that? Don't
- 22:08Speaker 9: just you know, I saw you got some stuff from
- 22:11Speaker 9: the thrift store that I had donated here, go so long?
- 22:14Speaker 9: I would, because now you may embarrass her, yeah you know. Yeah,
- 22:20Speaker 9: And so I would probably you know, invite her to
- 22:24Speaker 9: lunch or something and and try to be free in
- 22:27Speaker 9: her and don't mention it, you know. And then and
- 22:31Speaker 9: because like check this out, she may not know those
- 22:35Speaker 9: are your clothes, yeah, yeah, and she may not want
- 22:39Speaker 9: you to know that those that you know. So you
- 22:44Speaker 9: got to watch it. When you're helping people, sometimes you
- 22:47Speaker 9: just got to go about it in a different way.
- 22:49Speaker 9: And you know that's you.
- 22:52Speaker 8: Probably needs a really good friend right now and support
- 22:56Speaker 8: that's good.
- 22:57Speaker 3: That's great advice, Steve. Okay. Moving on to Ray and Shreveport,
- 23:01Speaker 3: Dre says, I took my girlfriend to Vegas for the
- 23:04Speaker 3: first time. She said she's down for anything, So I
- 23:07Speaker 3: took her to a swingers club. We got back home
- 23:10Speaker 3: and I was reflecting on our trip. She said, don't
- 23:13Speaker 3: ever bring that up to her. Why can't I mention
- 23:17Speaker 3: that special night?
- 23:19Speaker 9: What happened? Well, obviously she's embarrassed. She said down for anything,
- 23:24Speaker 9: that anything got into everything.
- 23:28Speaker 8: It didn't mean that.
- 23:30Speaker 9: Why can't I mentioned her special night? Well, okay, far
- 23:34Speaker 9: I don't know, man, next question.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Some stuff you just don't know.
- 23:42Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, I ain't never had that experience. I
- 23:44Speaker 9: ain't never took on to the swingers club and didn't
- 23:46Speaker 9: want to talk about it, and she ain't want to
- 23:47Speaker 9: hear it. Dog, you don't know why she don't want
- 23:50Speaker 9: to talk about Could it be she figured she made
- 23:53Speaker 9: a mistake. She talked all that smack, then you called
- 23:56Speaker 9: on it, and now she's been in this situation. She
- 23:58Speaker 9: don't don't ever bring that up to me again.
- 24:01Speaker 8: You know, she's not feeling it at all, all right.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Moving on to Olivia in t Neck, Olivia says, I've
- 24:10Speaker 3: been married for eighteen years and I have a boyfriend
- 24:12Speaker 3: on the side. He told me that my husband called him. Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 3: said that my husband called him and said he knows everything.
- 24:20Speaker 3: My husband hasn't mentioned it, so I've been walking on eggshells.
- 24:24Speaker 8: Is he planning to do something to me?
- 24:27Speaker 9: Probably? Yeah. First of all, let me ask you a
- 24:31Speaker 9: couple of questions. In the garage. Have you seen a
- 24:37Speaker 9: tark okay in the garage, have you seen a couple
- 24:45Speaker 9: of new rolls of duct tape? Has he bought a boat? Oh?
- 24:52Speaker 8: Boat?
- 24:54Speaker 9: Has he bought a boat?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yes, Colin, I have a question, sal okay, I'll let
- 25:01Speaker 1: you finish.
- 25:02Speaker 9: And is he white? Because of your husband? Really, I'm
- 25:09Speaker 9: telling you right now your ass about them, because they
- 25:14Speaker 9: don't really do divorce. I've watched a lot of crime shows.
- 25:18Speaker 9: I don't know what it is about divorced white men
- 25:20Speaker 9: don't like, but they will get rid of your ass
- 25:24Speaker 9: before they go to court. I'm just gonna throw that
- 25:26Speaker 9: out there. I feel how you want to feel about
- 25:32Speaker 9: that statement. But every crime show I've seen Lacy Peterson,
- 25:37Speaker 9: I can go down to Scott Peterson, I can go
- 25:41Speaker 9: down the list. Everybody I know that I have seen
- 25:44Speaker 9: on the crime show that didn't want a divorce caller.
- 25:51Speaker 15: So my question is, so since she knows the White
- 25:55Speaker 15: knows that her husband knows about her boyfriend, she confessed,
- 26:02Speaker 15: so she just come clean in the house and just
- 26:04Speaker 15: don't say nothing and wait for him to bring it up.
- 26:06Speaker 9: Oh no, I'm confessed. No, she said, she's walking on eggshells.
- 26:12Speaker 9: You know, well, well, well you know them.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Just headshill, just get the tiptoe.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, what.
- 26:18Speaker 9: You don't want to do is try to walk through
- 26:20Speaker 9: this fire.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Why hasn't he said anything? He must be planning something.
- 26:24Speaker 9: To leave right now. I'm telling you right now, when
- 26:29Speaker 9: the dude do that, man, you got to be careful. Yeah,
- 26:33Speaker 9: because a man's revenge is a little bit different and
- 26:37Speaker 9: there is no limits to what he will do. So
- 26:41Speaker 9: this this could be ugly.
- 26:45Speaker 10: Then he said he didn't even mention it no more.
- 26:50Speaker 9: Let's go over the full things you want to look
- 26:52Speaker 9: for a tarp, a tarp or hefty bands, any new
- 26:59Speaker 9: road rolls of duct tape, check a boat, a hack saw,
- 27:10Speaker 9: and here's another one you need. You need to look
- 27:13Speaker 9: out at her. If y'all seen a new deep freezer.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Wow.
- 27:19Speaker 9: And then after all that, let me ask you one
- 27:22Speaker 9: more question about your hus Is he a white? An
- 27:25Speaker 9: answer to if you have put a check block in
- 27:28Speaker 9: all of them? Yep, yep. He shouldn't do something. It's
- 27:32Speaker 9: just a matter of time for y'all. On forty eight hours?
- 27:35Speaker 2: So should she leave?
- 27:36Speaker 3: Should she move out?
- 27:38Speaker 9: I would? I would?
- 27:40Speaker 4: You would?
- 27:41Speaker 8: Okay?
- 27:42Speaker 3: I want she's sleeping at night, all right, Olivia.
- 27:47Speaker 9: No idea your head shill she ain't sleep. I know
- 27:50Speaker 9: I'm not up in a chair with my back to
- 27:53Speaker 9: the door.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Here's the last one. Clo Claude in Nashville says, my
- 28:00Speaker 3: wife dyed her hair bright red and thought she would
- 28:03Speaker 3: surprise me. Well, the surprise is on her because everyone
- 28:06Speaker 3: hates it. Her mom said, I should tell her, but
- 28:10Speaker 3: I don't want to hurt her feelings. I don't want
- 28:12Speaker 3: to take her anywhere with me.
- 28:14Speaker 9: What do I do?
- 28:16Speaker 7: Ah?
- 28:17Speaker 9: You got to tell her? Dog, you got to tell her?
- 28:20Speaker 3: Well, how is he going to tell her?
- 28:22Speaker 8: How's he going to tell her that?
- 28:25Speaker 9: Listen, I love you, but his red hair looks as
- 28:34Speaker 9: you look like an old beat up wrapper. Say that.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Yeah that's too harsh.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah, she did it for him.
- 28:47Speaker 8: She wanted to surprise him.
- 28:49Speaker 9: Well, I'm too surprised, all right, Celo. Thanks, I'm actually
- 28:55Speaker 9: a big shocked as a matter of fact.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 28:59Speaker 3: some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:02Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 29:07Speaker 7: Well.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Did He had his first court appearance yesterday in a
- 29:10Speaker 3: sex trafficking case since his arrest on September sixteenth. Did
- 29:14Speaker 3: He was wearing a beige jail jumpsuit and smiled at
- 29:16Speaker 3: his son King Combs and hugged his legal team as
- 29:20Speaker 3: he was ushered to his seat. His eighty four year
- 29:22Speaker 3: old mother and six of his seven children were present
- 29:25Speaker 3: in the court room. The judge in the case issued
- 29:27Speaker 3: a court date of May fifth, twenty twenty five, and
- 29:31Speaker 3: said the prosecution's case should be expected to last three
- 29:34Speaker 3: weeks and Ditty's defense team's case is expected to last
- 29:38Speaker 3: about a week. On Tuesday, his legal team requested, I'm
- 29:41Speaker 3: to tell you right now, he's.
- 29:42Speaker 9: Gonna need more in the week. I'm gonna tell you
- 29:44Speaker 9: that right now. If the prosecutor is his talker for
- 29:47Speaker 9: three weeks, yo, did fis at least need to talk
- 29:50Speaker 9: a month? You're not fake talk? Me fine talking four month.
- 29:55Speaker 9: I'm telling you right now, if the prosecuting team talk
- 29:58Speaker 9: for three weeks, my defense team talk for a week,
- 30:00Speaker 9: i'mna be looking upside of everybody head right there. Hey,
- 30:03Speaker 9: you ain't got nothing else you can say. They've been
- 30:05Speaker 9: talking for three day an weeks. Get your ass back
- 30:10Speaker 9: out there tomorrow and and let's go. Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: On Tuesday's legal team requested bail for did He once again,
- 30:18Speaker 3: and he was once again denied. Did He will remain
- 30:22Speaker 3: jailed at Brooklyn's Metro Detention Center.
- 30:24Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 30:27Speaker 9: Wow, man, this, this is, this is such a tragedy
- 30:32Speaker 9: on every level. Yes, it is, oh for him, for
- 30:37Speaker 9: the victims, this is this is tragic on every level.
- 30:41Speaker 9: This it could have all been avoided.
- 30:46Speaker 1: If he didn't do it.
- 30:48Speaker 9: Well, now, I mean that's but that's the choice we made.
- 30:51Speaker 9: That's what That's what's the matter here. You know you
- 30:55Speaker 9: ever heard this saying enough is enough and too much stinks?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:59Speaker 9: Yeah, you know. Look, you can you can do what
- 31:02Speaker 9: you want to do in your private life. I don't
- 31:03Speaker 9: think your bedroom should be a court case if it's
- 31:08Speaker 9: your bedroom, but once it involves flight in anybody talking
- 31:13Speaker 9: about against a whill and you're talking kidnapping and being
- 31:17Speaker 9: held and threatened and beating stone pulled out once you
- 31:21Speaker 9: get in right, you know now you you what whoa
- 31:26Speaker 9: hold up?
- 31:27Speaker 10: Man?
- 31:28Speaker 9: You know what you do in your bedroom. Man, that's
- 31:30Speaker 9: your business. But now we all down the hall this
- 31:36Speaker 9: this way. You start going, Wait a minute, man, hold on, yes,
- 31:41Speaker 9: so yeah, it's abuse its power. Now you you don't,
- 31:45Speaker 9: hey man, let let me tell you something.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'm famous, right, yeah, you are all over the world.
- 31:51Speaker 9: I won't even put a towel around me and go
- 31:54Speaker 9: down the hall for some ice.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Well I hope not, sir, hope, but listen to me.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I know what you're saying.
- 32:01Speaker 9: Yeah, you know you're not doing anything wrong. You want
- 32:04Speaker 9: to ice. I won't put a towel around me and
- 32:08Speaker 9: set a trade by the don't from room service, because no,
- 32:13Speaker 9: I can't afford that. Let nobody see uncompromising position you
- 32:17Speaker 9: to put a towel on and ran down the hallway
- 32:21Speaker 9: to grab somebody and then physically Wait a minute, man,
- 32:24Speaker 9: hold up, what you're not even thinking? What do you
- 32:28Speaker 9: That's that's the thought of a person who is obsessed with.
- 32:33Speaker 3: The power and out of control.
- 32:36Speaker 9: Out of control? What I say that right there, brother, Yeah,
- 32:41Speaker 9: that's when you've taken this thing and it's crazy.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Well, moving on, last night, former President Barack Obama kicked
- 32:49Speaker 3: off his blitz campaign for VP Kamala Harris. He started
- 32:54Speaker 3: out in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, an important battleground state we all know,
- 32:59Speaker 3: and his speed each was electrifying, to say the least.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Early on, Obama denounced Donald Trump, calling him a selfish
- 33:05Speaker 3: billionaire who cares about his ego and his money and
- 33:08Speaker 3: his status. Obama told Pennsylvanians that America is ready to
- 33:12Speaker 3: turn the page and move forward. Take a listen, Pennsylvania.
- 33:16Speaker 3: We do not need four more years of that year.
- 33:19Speaker 16: We don't need four more years of arrogance and bumbling
- 33:23Speaker 16: and busser and the vision.
- 33:25Speaker 9: Americans ready to turn the page. We are ready to
- 33:28Speaker 9: play better.
- 33:29Speaker 16: Story, Roman, health, crust work together instead of turning a
- 33:34Speaker 16: deaty tuble. Pennsylvania, We're ready for a president Commons's the present?
- 33:45Speaker 12: It are?
- 33:49Speaker 9: Hey, Hey, can I tell you what I think is
- 33:53Speaker 9: going to happen?
- 33:54Speaker 6: Do you?
- 33:55Speaker 9: I think there are a lot of Republicans who are
- 34:00Speaker 9: openly supportive of Trump because that's what they're supposed to do,
- 34:05Speaker 9: and I think that a lot of them are going
- 34:08Speaker 9: to get in that booth and pull that handle for
- 34:11Speaker 9: Kamala Harris, because I just think, man, that there are
- 34:17Speaker 9: still some good people out there who know they can't
- 34:21Speaker 9: come out against him because it will just be too public.
- 34:24Speaker 9: But I think a lot of Americans will go in
- 34:26Speaker 9: that booth and pull that lever for Kamala Harris. And
- 34:29Speaker 9: I don't care what the Poles say, because I know
- 34:32Speaker 9: for a fact DoD So there are enough of them
- 34:35Speaker 9: who know, man, we've had enough of this craziness. We
- 34:38Speaker 9: don't let this food hijack this party to the where
- 34:41Speaker 9: that's really not how I am. Now. There are some
- 34:44Speaker 9: people who is just like him, and a huge number
- 34:47Speaker 9: of them are just like him. But I think what's
- 34:52Speaker 9: gonna happen because I don't think he can win the
- 34:55Speaker 9: popular vote. It's this electoral thing that's got me concerned.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I just it's funny you should say that. I
- 35:04Speaker 3: just told my friend that today, the same thing you
- 35:06Speaker 3: just said that. I think Republicans are outwardly supporting him,
- 35:10Speaker 3: but when they go on the booth, they're going to
- 35:12Speaker 3: vote for Kamala Harris.
- 35:14Speaker 9: Because there's a penalty if you don't support him as
- 35:17Speaker 9: a Republicans. The backlash from this dude in his the
- 35:22Speaker 9: Trumpster nation is really severe.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, well hope yeah, so yeah, I hope
- 35:31Speaker 3: so too.
- 35:32Speaker 9: But we know what we have to do.
- 35:34Speaker 2: We got to vote.
- 35:36Speaker 3: We have to vote, all right? Coming up in twenty
- 35:39Speaker 3: minutes after the hour. Millions were affected by Hurricane Milton's
- 35:43Speaker 3: devastation and now cleanup begins. We'll talk about it right
- 35:47Speaker 3: after this.
- 35:48Speaker 8: You're listening morning show.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Well, Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night as a Category
- 35:56Speaker 3: three storm around eight thirty pm near Cst. Key in Florida,
- 36:00Speaker 3: near Sarasota. At least twelve deaths sadly, have been confirmed
- 36:04Speaker 3: in the storms aftermath, including six deaths related to tornadoes
- 36:08Speaker 3: on the Atlantic coast of Florida. There are more than
- 36:11Speaker 3: three million Florida residents without electricity right now. President Biden
- 36:16Speaker 3: deployed thousands of federal personnel to areas affected by the storm,
- 36:20Speaker 3: and Taylor Swift donated five million dollars to relief efforts
- 36:24Speaker 3: for communities affected by hurricanes Helen and Milton, and other
- 36:28Speaker 3: celebrities have done so as well. If you want to help,
- 36:32Speaker 3: you can donate to Redcross dot org to help the
- 36:35Speaker 3: communities recover and build.
- 36:38Speaker 14: Wow.
- 36:39Speaker 8: But the good thing about it is that they.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Said it wasn't as bad as they anticipated. It was bad,
- 36:45Speaker 3: but yeah it's bad. Yeah, it wasn't as bad as
- 36:48Speaker 3: they thought it was going to be.
- 36:49Speaker 15: But it was very destructive, a very destructive storm for
- 36:53Speaker 15: Florida's Gulf Coast side, the West side of Florida.
- 36:57Speaker 10: But hopefully, you know, the.
- 37:01Speaker 15: People listen to the evacuation, they save their lives, they
- 37:04Speaker 15: save their families, and that hopefully that death count will
- 37:10Speaker 15: not rise. And that's that's what matters most. Absolutely, that's
- 37:15Speaker 15: what matters most. You can rebuild all day. Thank you
- 37:19Speaker 15: to all the first responders because what they go through.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And then see did you see the Tropicana Stadium with

- 53:46Speaker 3: Thank you my good friend Junior. Subject is he faking
- 53:49Speaker 3: it with me? Dear Stephen, Shirley. I used to sing
- 53:53Speaker 3: with the band, and that's how I met my boyfriend.
- 53:56Speaker 3: We moved to Atlanta and he started another career as
- 53:59Speaker 3: a rap. He's good at it and he does local
- 54:02Speaker 3: festivals and that's good enough for him because he works
- 54:05Speaker 3: full time. He's been talking about marriage, buying a home,
- 54:09Speaker 3: and having kids. But he's a lot different than a homebody.
- 54:12Speaker 3: When he's rapping, his lyrics say he is a man whore.
- 54:16Speaker 3: He calls women all kinds of names and glorifies a
- 54:19Speaker 3: woman that has had surgery to enhance her breast, butt
- 54:22Speaker 3: and lips. He says that he doesn't trust women, so
- 54:26Speaker 3: he uses them for sex and would never be stupid
- 54:29Speaker 3: enough to give his heart to one. I went to
- 54:31Speaker 3: a show on the fourth of July, and my auntie
- 54:33Speaker 3: and her husband went with me. My boyfriend's lyrics were
- 54:36Speaker 3: so embarrassing. He said he has a main bee and
- 54:39Speaker 3: her friend and her friend's friend, and all of them
- 54:42Speaker 3: love him. He said all of the designer clothes he
- 54:45Speaker 3: owns come from women because his sex is so good.
- 54:49Speaker 3: My uncle said that I need to reevaluate my relationship
- 54:52Speaker 3: and stop spending my money on my boyfriend. I swore
- 54:56Speaker 3: to him that those are just lyrics and he's totally
- 54:59Speaker 3: different than that, different than that with me. My uncle said,
- 55:02Speaker 3: my man is nothing but a womanizer, a show off,
- 55:05Speaker 3: and he's full of himself, thinking he is God's gift
- 55:08Speaker 3: to women. Then my aunt chimed in and said he's
- 55:11Speaker 3: faking it with me. She said, my boyfriend is faking
- 55:14Speaker 3: like he likes me because I'm a stable woman and
- 55:16Speaker 3: he's latched himself onto me. He does have two different personalities.
- 55:21Speaker 3: He sings gospel music at church and then trashes women
- 55:25Speaker 3: is rap. What he says he loves me, but it's questionable.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Is he faking it on stage or is he faking
- 55:35Speaker 3: it with me?
- 55:37Speaker 9: Doggie, he said.
- 55:47Speaker 3: He's a hustler, right.
- 55:50Speaker 9: Well?
- 55:53Speaker 8: Or is he taking it with me? Only you can
- 55:56Speaker 8: answer that one. How does he treat you?
- 55:58Speaker 3: How does he treat others? Is he player? You should
- 56:00Speaker 3: know these things? Does he have other women? Are there
- 56:04Speaker 3: any signs of that? Most rappers do have different personas
- 56:08Speaker 3: when they get up on that stage. A lot of
- 56:10Speaker 3: times they don't mean what they're singing about, what they're
- 56:12Speaker 3: rapping about. It's just like actors who play different roles.
- 56:16Speaker 3: You know, they can play this role, they're not that,
- 56:19Speaker 3: but they play that role on TV or in the movies.
- 56:22Speaker 8: But is your man living the.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Life he raps about? That's the question. Have you asked
- 56:27Speaker 3: him to tone it down because his lyrics make you
- 56:30Speaker 3: uncomfortable and they embarrass you. That's the key, because even
- 56:34Speaker 3: if he's not living that lifestyle he raps about, you're embarrassed.
- 56:37Speaker 3: You're hurt by what he talks about. You know, you're
- 56:40Speaker 3: embarrassed in front of your family. So either you need
- 56:42Speaker 3: to break up with this guy because you can't support
- 56:45Speaker 3: his rap career, or stop going to his shows. And
- 56:48Speaker 3: taking people with you to his shows because you can't
- 56:51Speaker 3: take it. I mean, you're a singer. That's how you
- 56:54Speaker 3: met him. He wouldn't like it if you sang about
- 56:55Speaker 3: other men on stage when you're performing. So you have
- 56:59Speaker 3: every to feel how you feel about this guy, Steve.
- 57:04Speaker 9: I don't The subject is is he faking it with me?
- 57:07Speaker 9: I don't see in me? And I will try, but
- 57:12Speaker 9: I don't see any redeeming qualities. I just don't. I'm sorry.
- 57:18Speaker 9: I'm listening to the letter and at the end where
- 57:21Speaker 9: I had to bust out laughing, after all this was said,
- 57:25Speaker 9: he a gospel singing at church. What dog did you hear?
- 57:29Speaker 9: A whole letter? Now, Stephen Sherley, I used to sing
- 57:33Speaker 9: with a band, So it's a woman righting there. That's
- 57:36Speaker 9: how I met my boyfriend. Then it jumps to we
- 57:40Speaker 9: moved to Atlanta and he started another career as a rapper.
- 57:44Speaker 9: What he's good at it He does local festivals and
- 57:50Speaker 9: that's good enough for him because he works full time.
- 57:54Speaker 9: All right. Now here we go. He talks about getting married,
- 57:57Speaker 9: by a house and having kids. But he's a lot
- 58:01Speaker 9: different than a homeboy. When he's rapping. That's a weird
- 58:08Speaker 9: description coming from a woman who make it a husband
- 58:11Speaker 9: and a father and a deal from a man. Oh,
- 58:15Speaker 9: he's a homebody, I'm saying, but he's a lot different
- 58:18Speaker 9: than a homebody. When he's rapping. Now, his lyrics say
- 58:24Speaker 9: he's a man whole okay, right right here?
- 58:30Speaker 2: Wow, bruh.
- 58:32Speaker 9: He calls women's all kinds of names. He glorifies a
- 58:38Speaker 9: woman that's had surgery, a breast done, button lips, and
- 58:42Speaker 9: he say he don't trust women, so he uses them
- 58:45Speaker 9: for sex and would never be stupid enough to give
- 58:47Speaker 9: his heart to one. These are lyrics that he wrote,
- 58:51Speaker 9: and he's rapping. This ain't somebody else's or what it bars.
- 58:57Speaker 9: These his bars, he wrote. I went to a show
- 59:02Speaker 9: on the fourth of July. My auntie and her husband
- 59:04Speaker 9: went with me. My boyfriend lyrics were so embarrassing. He
- 59:08Speaker 9: said he has a main bee and her friend and
- 59:12Speaker 9: her friends, and all of them love him. He said.
- 59:15Speaker 9: All the design to clothes he don't come from women
- 59:17Speaker 9: because his sex is so good. Now, my uncle said
- 59:21Speaker 9: I need to revaluate my relationship and stop spending my
- 59:24Speaker 9: money on my boyfriend. I swore to him that those
- 59:27Speaker 9: are just lyrics and he's totally different than that with me.
- 59:30Speaker 9: My uncle said, my man is nothing but a woman
- 59:33Speaker 9: eyes or show off, and he's full of himself, thinking
- 59:35Speaker 9: these God's gift to women. At this point, I agree
- 59:39Speaker 9: with your uncle. I'm just gonna be real with you.
- 59:43Speaker 6: You can't.
- 59:45Speaker 9: You can't have all these different lives. But see, he
- 59:50Speaker 9: wrote those lyrics. Now, I got most people don't live
- 59:54Speaker 9: the life of the lyrics they write. But what you're
- 59:57Speaker 9: writing them for? All right?
- 59:59Speaker 3: Hold that thought, Steve, Hold your thought. We're going to
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: come back and have part two of your response to
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: today's Strawberry letter? Is he Faking it with me? At
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: twenty three minutes after the hour right after this, you're
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: listening hard morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is is he faking
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: it with me?
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: I just didn't see anything redeeming in this letter. This
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: letter meant this. She used to sing in a band.
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: That's how she met a boyfriend. They moved to Atlanta together.
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: He started a new career. He been rapping. She said.
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: He good at it because he get jobs at local festivals. Okay,
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: I used to work at taverns and bars. When I started,
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: you know you, I was good at it, but the
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: money wasn't good to me, so I don't anyway. You know,
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: y'all been talking about marriage, having kids, getting married by
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: in the house. But he's a lot different than a
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: homebody when he's rapping. So his lyrics a contrary to
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: what he says. He wants a wife, a house, and kids. Uh.
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: He trashes women. He calls them out, they name. He's
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: a man who, according to him, he glorifies women that
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: has had surgery is done. Uh. He he uses women
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: for sex. He would never trust any woman enough to
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: give his heart to one. You went to a show
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: on the fourth of July with your auntie and her husband.
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: His lyrics were so embarrassing to you that your uncle
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: set up there and said, hey, listen, stop spending your money.
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: His lyrics were talking about how people buy him designer
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: clothes that he gets from women because his sex is
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: so good and blah blah blah. The uncle told her
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: you need to stop, you need to revalue your relationship
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: with do quit spending money on him. I swore to him,
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: those are just lyrics, and he's totally different than that.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: With me.
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: My uncle said my man is nothing but a womanizer,
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: a show off, and he's full of himself, thinking these
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: God's gift to women. Then my aunt chimed in and said,
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: he's been faking it with me. She said, my boyfriend
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: is faking like he likes me because I'm a stable woman,
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: and he's lashed himself on to me. He Now here's
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: a line that gets us ready to get up out
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: of him. He does have two different personalities. Okay, well,
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: then that does mean at times he's one or the other.
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: That's what that means. So is he the rapper or
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: is he the guy that's the homebody. But then you
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: threw another one in. You said he's sang gospel music
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: at the church. I fell out laughing. I fell out laughing.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: Who is this boy? Right? He's sanging gospel music at
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: your Now you got to be careful though, because if
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: it's confusing to you, if you get these lyrics mixed up.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Uh, he mixes up his rap lyrics with the gospel song.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Is that?
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: What do you know? The problem here? Mother Mary was
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: the baby, but who was she? Really don't know? Hold up,
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: hold up, pardoner, where we're going with this? So he
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: sings gospel music at the church and then trashes women
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: in his raps. He says he loves me, but it's questionable.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: Is he faking it on stage or is he faking
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: it with me? He's faking it period. Okay, let's take
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: you and the relationship about the mix. Who is this guy?
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: If you'll try to describe him, how would you describe him?
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: Is he a homebody? He loves children, having a family,
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: but he raps on stage and he trashes women. He
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: says he gets all his down designer clothes for women
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: he has sex with because he has sex with him
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: so good. And now he's sang at the church. He
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: sang got some music. I don't think this young man
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: knows who he is yet, because I would not attach
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: myself to a wagon or a team of horses and
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: each horse is going in a different direction. You're gonna
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: get told part like that. If you hit yourself to
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: a man to a wagon and he's got a team
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: of horses, they all got to be going in the
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: same direction. And before you get on this wagon, ladies,
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: you got to make sure that's the direction you want
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: to go too, that you can either support it or
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: ride along with him. Is that where you want your
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: life to go? But if he can't show you direction
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: his life is going, why would you attach yourself? Today?
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: Most women I knew no want to be loved, cared for,
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: cared about, feel a sense of security, have love in
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: their house, go somewhere, travel with their man, laugh and
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: enjoy their play games. You know, go double date. That's
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: what women really want to do with a man. You know,
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: we got a life together, We got this family. But
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: your dude man is all over the place, and your
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: uncle hit it spot on you up on stage, rapping
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: all these legs about how good you are and how
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: many women you got it. You never trust one. And
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: my woman loved me and all her friends, and that's
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: what made you sick because your friends like him too.
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: But I think I don't know, man, I don't see it.
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: I don't see it. Little good, No, young lady, I
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: really don't tell you. But that gospel say the church
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: that was too funny to me. I hollered.
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: They're gonna break up because she was a gangster.

- 1:09:38Speaker 3: On the top of the hour, Thank you pimp, and
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: thank you JR. A mom wants to know how to
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: stop her son from being a bully. We'll get into
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: it right after this.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: You're listening morning show, all right.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: See, this woman needs some advice, Okay. Her name is
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: Diana in Norfolk. She says her son is a bully
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: and he hit her nephew with a dump truck. He's
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: only four and she can't control him because his daddy
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: wrestles with him and says it's to toughen him up.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: She says, my sister doesn't want my son around her
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: son anymore, and that saddens me. How do I get
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: his dad to stop being so rough with him and
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: set a better example for our son.
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: Well, it's not the being rough the part that's going on.
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: It's how he's raised as a person.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: Now, if rough doesn't come with consequences, then they gonna
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: apply this roughness in the wrong place. You know, my
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: daddy raised us to be rough and tough. But now
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: when it comes to your family, you leave that outside.
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: You save all that rough and tougher than boys on
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: that block. That's where you be rough and tough. You
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: come in this house. Your family is your family. He
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: just he's got to teach the boy the difference, because
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: toughness has to come with the consequence. You know, you
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: can slap who you want, but you raise your hand
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: in your mama, you already noticed the last time you're
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: gonna raise up anything. You got it. But you know
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: he's four and there's no four year old. I can't
- 1:11:13Speaker 9: do nothing with that. That that's not not in not
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: in the right people's house. And that's what's wrong with
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: these new fangled parents, y'all. Not y'all. Y'all didn't take
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: y'all's hands off these kids too much.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: Yeah, she said she can't control him.
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: Before what four year old I can't control.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: You come to my house? No, okay, And that's gonna
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: her son. It's her son, though she can't control them.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: But that's gonna be a problem when he goes to school, when.
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: It's gonna be a major problem when he does be
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: a problem. It's gonna be a problem when you get
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: out on them streets. And he'll know because it's because
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: I don't care who you are. That somebody stronger, faster,
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: and tougher than I don't care who you are. They
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: got a match for all that you've got. Go to jail.
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: I'm telling you right now. Go to jail. You fin
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: to find out. Well, I'm the bad who says, well,
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: but if you don't get this boy disciplined, that's what
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: happens to undisciplined boys. You either going to the grave
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: or you going to jail. That's what's happening. That's what
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: happens to undisciplined boy. Yeah, so you better like carl
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: And said, what are you gonna do when he go
- 1:12:26Speaker 9: to school? You got to get a grip on this now. Man,
- 1:12:28Speaker 9: It's okay teach your son to be tough, but the
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: consequence is where you apply the toughness.
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: Yeah, he's for get it together.
- 1:12:36Speaker 9: You can.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: You can RAI together. He's only four. We have time
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: for another one, Steve. This is from Marissa and Stafford.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: She says, I'm still in love with my ex husband
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: and he told me he's engaged. We had a heart
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: to heart after our divorce and he said he was
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: just not the marrying type and he needed to be single.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: When he told me he's getting remarried. I asked what
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: the woman had that I don't have. He got mad
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: and won't speak to me anymore.
- 1:13:03Speaker 9: So I don't know what to do.
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: Why did he block me and refused to answer my question?
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: Lady, it's over? Yeah, what's the matter. Yeah, he told
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: you to just you know, make you feel okay. I
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: ain't the marrying kind. I don't want to do this
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: no more. Next thing, you know, he getting married. He
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: ain't the marrying can and he don't want to do
- 1:13:24Speaker 9: this no more with you.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: That's the painful part.
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: I still love him. Why did he block me? Because
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: he don't want you? Man, Take your freedom and go
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: be happy. Man, what's the matter? Let it go? Let
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: him go.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: He don't he don't want you.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: In the words of Judge Leeann told him her grandmama
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: told her, don't let a man have to tell you
- 1:13:57Speaker 9: twice he don't want you. I don't understand that. Man. Now,
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: I've had woman had to tell me four or five times.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: She didn't.
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: But it don't work the same way for women. You're
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: gonna have to convince me you don't. I think you're
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: making a rast. So we need to talk about you
- 1:14:16Speaker 9: really thought about what I bring to the table. All this.
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: You don't want me? I got that, but you know

- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Would you rather Frankie Beverly or Charlie Wilson?
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: Be Charlie?
- 1:16:33Speaker 10: I just I've been to Charlie Wilson concerts. I don't
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: I don't even how you judged this.
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: I know you want to come back, you can't Judge's
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: really unfair. I'm gonna go with Frankie because simply because
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: the music has meant more to me. But when he
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: comes to just straight up hits, it's Charlie Wilson.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Okay, so vocally it's.
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: Charlie Wilson hits, it's Charlie Wilson. Touch my soul, Frankie, Lord, Lord,
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: have mercy.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: All right, my boy, it was coming. I knew it
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: was coming.
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: No blame to no one. Yeah, he's gonna be. No.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: I realize I can't get over you. I tried to
- 1:17:27Speaker 9: lose myself in song, but the ties are much too strong.
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: What am I gonna do? I can't get over you?
- 1:17:38Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:17:38Speaker 12: Have you actually lived that? That's what you're saying. That's
- 1:17:41Speaker 12: why I touch yourself? You actually lived that?
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: No, j almost custiousness.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: The way you say, all right, would you rather curse
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: out your enemies or would you rather pray for your enemy?
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: I ain't never done anybody.
- 1:18:09Speaker 10: Like curse up the pray.
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: I've never prayed for an enemy. I don't even know.
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: I have never And the prayers I did send up
- 1:18:19Speaker 9: was not righteous. I'm just I you know, I've never
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: prayed for an enemy. I wish ill on them. But
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: you know, like I'm gonna tell you something like it's
- 1:18:32Speaker 9: really not proper to pray for ill will on a
- 1:18:35Speaker 9: person like you know. It's just like you know you know,
- 1:18:39Speaker 9: twist his twist his mouth up, you know like that,
- 1:18:45Speaker 9: you know, put put a put a huge canker so
- 1:18:48Speaker 9: on it on his nose.
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: That's an ill will you know, you.
- 1:18:57Speaker 9: Know, just mean it. Don't be like evil. It be
- 1:18:59Speaker 9: just a little stuff, you know. Hope, Yeah, you know,
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: you know, you know, hope you lose your all.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Right, would you rather have sex blindfolded? Or would you
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: rather have sex with a muzzle on which one can't see?
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: You can't talk?
- 1:19:16Speaker 10: I gots to see, I can't be in here.
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: No, I rather had a blindfold. I know what I'm doing.
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: All right, that's days round.
- 1:19:29Speaker 9: And I need to give out some instructions.
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: Our last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: from the one and only Steve Harvey that you don't
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: want to miss. Right after this.
- 1:19:42Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: the day on this Friday for the week. It's getting close,
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: it's getting close to election days, getting close to the
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: end of the year. A lot of stuff going on, Steve, Yeah,
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: take us out.
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: Hey, you know, y'all listen. I was talking to the
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: radio team my family here off the air, and sometimes
- 1:20:12Speaker 9: I have to remind myself of things. You know, I
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: don't care who you are. You have the capability of
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: learning every day. Now, there are some things that you
- 1:20:23Speaker 9: can really master, like manhood. I've mastered manhood. I know
- 1:20:28Speaker 9: how to be a man. There's nothing new about manhood
- 1:20:31Speaker 9: you can tell me. But there's a lot about success
- 1:20:33Speaker 9: that you can tell me. There's a lot of new
- 1:20:36Speaker 9: principles and not a lot of new tactics I can
- 1:20:38Speaker 9: learn along the way. And one of the things I
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: was talking with the family about was I had to
- 1:20:47Speaker 9: remind myself that dreams are dreams. They become goals when
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: you set a date, when you when you when you
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: have an aiming part. Let's say you take your dreams
- 1:21:02Speaker 9: and you put them out there and you put them
- 1:21:04Speaker 9: in a circle. You put them in an open iron
- 1:21:08Speaker 9: rim circle, and you put all your dreams in that circle.
- 1:21:11Speaker 9: Those are just dreams in a circle. But if you
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: take that circle and you mounted ten feet off the
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: ground and you put it on the backboard, that backboard
- 1:21:21Speaker 9: becomes a rim. You know what they call the rim
- 1:21:24Speaker 9: in basketball the goal, because now you're shooting for something
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: and it becomes a goal. So what like the analogy
- 1:21:34Speaker 9: I just came up with. Dreams and visions are fine,
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: but they become a point of action when you turn
- 1:21:43Speaker 9: them into goals. See, it's one thing to have a
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: dream or vision. It's another thing to try to attain it.
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: You know, you can sit up and won't, won't, won't, won't, won't.
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: Ah wish, wish, wish, wish, wish, hope, hope, hope, hope.
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: But if you don't set into action a plan to
- 1:22:06Speaker 9: achieve it, what are we doing. It has to become
- 1:22:11Speaker 9: a goal, something that you're aiming for, shooting for, because
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: if it's not, it's just a circle on the ground
- 1:22:19Speaker 9: with dreams and visions in it and aspirations and hopes.
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: But if you put it on the backboard, you put
- 1:22:26Speaker 9: it ten feet in the air. Now you're shooting for something.
- 1:22:30Speaker 9: It becomes a goal. It causes you to have a
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: point of action. And what I decided to do was,
- 1:22:37Speaker 9: there's something I've been talking about doing for a few years,
- 1:22:41Speaker 9: and I've been getting closer and closer to it. But
- 1:22:44Speaker 9: you know what I hadn't done yet to this one
- 1:22:46Speaker 9: particular goal. I hadn't put a set date on it.
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: And just the other day, I said, you know what, man,
- 1:22:53Speaker 9: and for the first time, I set it out loud,
- 1:22:57Speaker 9: I'm gonna do this, and then when I'm done with this,
- 1:23:01Speaker 9: that's going to be it. And it changes because once
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: you make it a goal, you know what happens to you.
- 1:23:08Speaker 9: You develop a sense of urgency. See, because now once
- 1:23:13Speaker 9: you set a goal and you put a date on it,
- 1:23:16Speaker 9: now you work differently. It ain't no just wake up
- 1:23:19Speaker 9: and see how it goal. You wake up with purpose.
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: You now have a driven purpose because now you're trying
- 1:23:26Speaker 9: to get it to accomplish in a set amount of time. So,
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: like I'm saying, y'all, dreams and visions are wonderful and beautiful,
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: but you got to take that rim and put it
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: on the backboard and make it a goal, something to
- 1:23:40Speaker 9: shoot for. And the goals can be dates. You need
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: to put a date on this thing, man, so you
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: can develop a sense of urgency. And once I set
- 1:23:51Speaker 9: this date on a goal, I started working towards it differently.
- 1:23:55Speaker 9: I started going, wow, man, I got to move like
- 1:23:57Speaker 9: this and move like that. Now, that didn't cause me
- 1:23:59Speaker 9: to become more anxious. It didn't cause me to worry.
- 1:24:03Speaker 9: It didn't start make me trying to do this. It's
- 1:24:05Speaker 9: just that now I've given it to God. I've told
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: God this is the goal. Now show me how to
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: accomplish that. And at the same time, let your will
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: be done, meaning it could take a little bit longer,
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: but also it could happen a lot sooner. That's how
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: God works, because if you knew the exact date that
- 1:24:32Speaker 9: everything would happen, you wouldn't need faith no more. All
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: you need is patience. But God requires our faith, our
- 1:24:39Speaker 9: belief in things that we cannot see. That is the
- 1:24:43Speaker 9: relationship between you and your creator. Faith. Do you believe
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: in me when they'd encountered you out? Do you believe
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: in me when you can't see no way? How do
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: you believe in me when it seems undoable? Do you
- 1:24:59Speaker 9: still have the faith that it will be done? That's
- 1:25:03Speaker 9: the relationship I want to always strengthen with God. That's
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: the one you should shoot for. That's the goal. So
- 1:25:13Speaker 9: as you move forward, you all set some time frames
- 1:25:15Speaker 9: to what you want to do, but also be open
- 1:25:18Speaker 9: to the will of God. It'll change the way you work,
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: It'll change your sense of urgency, and it'll change your
- 1:25:24Speaker 9: sense of purpose. When you wake up in the morning.
- 1:25:27Speaker 9: That's an important aspect of getting the where you want
- 1:25:30Speaker 9: to go. So man, So right now I got a plan.
- 1:25:35Speaker 9: Right now, I have a point of action, and right
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: now I got all the faith in the world that
- 1:25:41Speaker 9: it will happen. But I'm also open to the will
- 1:25:46Speaker 9: of God. Let your will be done on earth as
- 1:25:49Speaker 9: it is in heaven. And then give us this day
- 1:25:53Speaker 9: our daily bread. Give me what I need for today,
- 1:25:56Speaker 9: and forgive us our trust passes. As we forgive those
- 1:25:59Speaker 9: who truspass, it gives us. You gotta forgive if you
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: want to be forgiven. That's a lot. So I hope
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: you got something from that today. Have yourself a great weekend.
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: Talk to God. He would absolutely love to hear from you.
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: And don't be ashamed that you ain't talked to God
- 1:26:14Speaker 9: in a while. He know that that's one of the
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: biggest trick the devil us. You ain't talk to him
- 1:26:19Speaker 9: in a while. I ain't no need of going now,
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: no go now, It's okay. He understands. They have a
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: great vie.
