- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks. Things in the stubs stood together. Please don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join me. You gotta turn you are you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out? Turn you got to turn out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad uh huh, I sure will come on. And everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Heh man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: back in business too, Man, Man, How good is God?
- 2:17Speaker 1: I mean, really, if you think about it in spite
- 2:19Speaker 1: of all that's going down in your life. First of all,
- 2:22Speaker 1: it could be worse. But secondly, sometimes you have to remember.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And I've just had to have this conversation with myself
- 2:30Speaker 1: this morning. That's how I'm fresh on this one right here.
- 2:34Speaker 1: When a challenge faces you, are you going through a
- 2:38Speaker 1: difficult moment, or you didn't hit a bump in the
- 2:40Speaker 1: road in the middle of that, if you could manage
- 2:44Speaker 1: to be grateful, it would take you a long way.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Gratitude is a powerful resource if you can be grateful
- 2:52Speaker 1: in the middle of it. Gratitude is a powerful resource
- 2:57Speaker 1: when it's dim for you and got a little bumpy
- 3:01Speaker 1: on the road, and he ran into some obstacles, and
- 3:04Speaker 1: you didn't, ran up into some detooled signs, and your
- 3:07Speaker 1: journey ain't smooth as it was last week or last year.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You gotta be grateful for the things that are going
- 3:17Speaker 1: right and that have gone right, and for the thing
- 3:21Speaker 1: that's wrong right now to get right? Man? Can I
- 3:24Speaker 1: share that with you? Man? Is that a tough one
- 3:26Speaker 1: to learn? It is for me. It has been one
- 3:29Speaker 1: of my toughest challenges is to learn how to be
- 3:34Speaker 1: grateful because it's a powerful resource, but how to be
- 3:37Speaker 1: grateful in moments of despair when it ain't going right.
- 3:41Speaker 1: See here's a mistake I would make. See when something
- 3:44Speaker 1: go wrong, I want to focus on the wrong so
- 3:47Speaker 1: much in an attempt to fix it. But even then
- 3:52Speaker 1: the focus ain't always in to fix it. The focus becomes, Man,
- 3:56Speaker 1: this is bad, man, I can't believe this is happening.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Why just keep going down? That doesn't fix anything? You know,
- 4:05Speaker 1: mealing over it, going over what's wrong, explaining it, sharing
- 4:11Speaker 1: it with your friends, you know, making it sound worse
- 4:15Speaker 1: than it is. Tell the story for pity from other people.
- 4:20Speaker 1: All of that right there has nothing to do with
- 4:22Speaker 1: the fix. Sometimes you're just mulling over it. You're just
- 4:25Speaker 1: making it worse. You're just making it a bigger problem.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You're manifesting it into your atmosphere, You're putting it out
- 4:32Speaker 1: there in your spirit. Now, all of a sudden, it
- 4:34Speaker 1: consumes your day. Next thing, you know, you're having a
- 4:37Speaker 1: bad day. If you're having a bad day, it's because
- 4:39Speaker 1: you've been having some bad thoughts. So what I've had
- 4:43Speaker 1: to learn how to do, and what I'm working on
- 4:45Speaker 1: this morning is I'm working on this situation that's been
- 4:48Speaker 1: cropped up. I was going kind of smooth here for
- 4:51Speaker 1: a minute, and now I didn't got real bumpy in
- 4:53Speaker 1: the road, you know, and all this here. So what
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm thinking about now, though, is even though I've hit
- 4:59Speaker 1: a bump in the and even though out and ran
- 5:02Speaker 1: into a detour, and even though I've hit this love,
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm going down into a valley, I ain't up on
- 5:09Speaker 1: the peak. Can I not still be grateful for all
- 5:13Speaker 1: the things that God has given me, for all the
- 5:16Speaker 1: things He's done for me, for all the things He's
- 5:20Speaker 1: brought me through, And realizing that even this that's happening
- 5:24Speaker 1: to me again is going to pass too. He gonna
- 5:28Speaker 1: get me through that attitude. Come on, man, God is
- 5:30Speaker 1: a good god man. It's a lot to be grateful for.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So while I'm tripping on this bumping the road out
- 5:35Speaker 1: and here, what I gotta remember is all the things
- 5:38Speaker 1: He's done for me. And like I say, my saying
- 5:41Speaker 1: is joy and depression cannot reside in the same place.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So instead of being down about this new bumping the road,
- 5:47Speaker 1: if I'm constantly filling my mind with the thoughts of
- 5:50Speaker 1: how good He's been to me, of what all he's
- 5:53Speaker 1: done for me, of all the things he's brought me through,
- 5:56Speaker 1: of all the blessings he's presented me with. When I
- 5:59Speaker 1: go down that list, I really don't have a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: of time to mull over the situation. Now. Do I
- 6:08Speaker 1: have to fix this bump in the road. Of course
- 6:10Speaker 1: I do. Are There's some things I'm going to have
- 6:13Speaker 1: to do to straighten it out, of course it is.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But Steve just going to get the business of doing
- 6:18Speaker 1: it and straighten it out. What you mulling over and
- 6:20Speaker 1: wearing about it for you know, old people. I heard
- 6:23Speaker 1: old people say something I was growing up in the church,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they say, if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry
- 6:28Speaker 1: about it. But if you're gonna worry about it, don't
- 6:30Speaker 1: pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer just
- 6:34Speaker 1: happens to be my weapon of choice. Now, it ain't
- 6:37Speaker 1: always been that way. I want you to understand that
- 6:40Speaker 1: My first weapon of choice was you do it to me,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I do it to you. You call me out, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: call you out, you say something bad about me. I've
- 6:48Speaker 1: tried to find you and say something bad about you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That was my weapon in the past. How did that
- 6:53Speaker 1: work out for you, Steve? Not so good? Because you
- 6:57Speaker 1: know what, I spent a lot of time fighting back,
- 7:01Speaker 1: kicking back, swinging back, when I could have spent all
- 7:04Speaker 1: that time climbing. See, all you're trying to do at
- 7:08Speaker 1: the end of the day, folks, is have a better
- 7:10Speaker 1: life than the one you got. All you're trying to
- 7:12Speaker 1: do is to improve your position in life. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's not my business to make sure you don't get
- 7:18Speaker 1: where you're going. I ain't got no time for that.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's not my job to assure that you ain't as
- 7:24Speaker 1: high as me. I ain't got no time for that.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Your real mission and purpose is to have the best
- 7:30Speaker 1: life that you can have, to ascend to the highest
- 7:34Speaker 1: plateau that you can get to, to make your family
- 7:37Speaker 1: as comfortable as you can, to provide as much as
- 7:40Speaker 1: you can for your family. But legally, see, those of
- 7:44Speaker 1: us are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:49Speaker 1: today how they wish they hadn't have done that, and
- 7:52Speaker 1: they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had
- 7:55Speaker 1: did it. I knew not to go down there. Something
- 7:58Speaker 1: told me not to go down. Man. If I could
- 8:01Speaker 1: change things, I would. But they're sitting somewhere doing some
- 8:05Speaker 1: time that had they made another decision they wouldn't have
- 8:08Speaker 1: to do now. That don't make them throw away people, na, man,
- 8:12Speaker 1: because everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And some of us have done some things that really
- 8:19Speaker 1: broke the law, and a whole lot of other things
- 8:21Speaker 1: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:23Speaker 1: of God, we didn't. But now we set up here
- 8:25Speaker 1: and we passed judgment on people who got to do something. Man,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care what you've done. God
- 8:31Speaker 1: can't forgive anything. But our position, our motivation in life
- 8:35Speaker 1: is to try to have the best life we can
- 8:38Speaker 1: have and provide for those around us and make it comfortable.
- 8:41Speaker 1: If that's your ambition, you don't have time to worry
- 8:45Speaker 1: about or concern yourself with another person. And I wasted
- 8:49Speaker 1: time doing that, And that's not the way to get
- 8:53Speaker 1: it done. It's simply mine to your business taking care
- 8:57Speaker 1: of you and getting yourself right and tight. It's twenty
- 8:59Speaker 1: four seven, so that's a full time job. So what
- 9:02Speaker 1: I had to learn was and what I've the reason
- 9:05Speaker 1: I've chosen prayer as as my weapon of choice now
- 9:09Speaker 1: is that now prayer helps me that I don't have
- 9:13Speaker 1: to fight back. Now, if I get cornered, I'm gonna
- 9:17Speaker 1: fight you. I ain't even gonna lie to you. And
- 9:19Speaker 1: now I'm still working on some things that trigger me.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You know, you know, you know, and and and and
- 9:27Speaker 1: so I'm I'm slowly getting better at that. But I've
- 9:30Speaker 1: learned that my weapon of choice is prayer now. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: when it happens ugly for me, I pray about it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: When it gets tight and dismal for me, I pray
- 9:42Speaker 1: about it. And the thing about prayer man is Prayer
- 9:46Speaker 1: changes things. Yes, it does. Now read about it and
- 9:52Speaker 1: try it. That's the deal. Okay, come on, prayer as
- 9:55Speaker 1: a wonderful weapon. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen. It
- 10:03Speaker 1: is about to go down to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Alive and well, walk too, want to beat. I know
- 10:11Speaker 1: you want to leave me, but I refuse to let
- 10:15Speaker 1: you go. If I have to beg. Please for your sympathy,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I don't mind, because you mean that much to me,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and you proud to beg. That's how we're doing it
- 10:29Speaker 1: this morning. Alive and well, grateful, highly motivated. The tunes
- 10:36Speaker 1: is in the building. If you wake up with gratitude,
- 10:39Speaker 1: it affects your attitude, which is in direct correlation to
- 10:44Speaker 1: your altitude. Get your tube together, man, this is the
- 10:48Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Charley Strawberry, Colin Pharrell, Mouth of
- 10:52Speaker 1: the South, Mississippi, Monica. That bars back, Junior and ladies
- 10:56Speaker 1: and gentlemen, yours truly, Junior. What's on your mind today? Yeah?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Where you been? Junior? Let's let's ask him the question.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Where you've been? Do I have to tell you? Yeah? No, no, no, no,
- 11:11Speaker 1: no no no no, you don't have to tell us
- 11:14Speaker 1: where you will. But you have to want your check though,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you know what. I understand what you're saying. Um, hey, family, listen,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I know I've been going by the week. I need
- 11:29Speaker 1: a little time. Uh. I ain't hey y'all this, but
- 11:33Speaker 1: I got married over the weekend. I want you to
- 11:36Speaker 1: know that. What Wait a minute, y'all got married? Okay,
- 11:42Speaker 1: I got yeah, Julie, you did what? I got married?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Is he for real right now? Yeah? Yeah, y'all see
- 11:49Speaker 1: the ring. What the hell? Y'll tell man he's real?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Herd No, no, not, he not here to do, Julie. No, yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you got married this week. Dog. I swear to god,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I got married. We got a whole wife right now.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I got a whole wife in the room right now. Okay, okay,
- 12:07Speaker 1: let me just say this right here. This is space. Yes,
- 12:11Speaker 1: because this is a national radio show, I can't say
- 12:15Speaker 1: what I want to say. You can't. But you know
- 12:19Speaker 1: that emoji that's orange, oh yeah, yeah, with the symbols
- 12:25Speaker 1: across his mouth. Yea yeah, yeah. I need about eight
- 12:30Speaker 1: of them right now. And then I need the little
- 12:35Speaker 1: yellow emoji with the eyes wide open. Yeah yeah, I
- 12:41Speaker 1: need the one Monica always seeing me, the little girl
- 12:45Speaker 1: with her hands up like that. I don't know, being
- 12:48Speaker 1: the one with the hand on her face. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 1: And then let me see. I know the fines. You
- 13:01Speaker 1: know I paid them all. Yeah, I paid them all
- 13:05Speaker 1: at three hundred thousand dollars when that hurt. Yeah, I
- 13:08Speaker 1: know all the prices. But each word of the fanity.
- 13:12Speaker 1: And let me tell you my favorite because words, the
- 13:15Speaker 1: big one with the thirteen letters in it. But I
- 13:17Speaker 1: don't know why they charged me the whole fine because
- 13:19Speaker 1: I don't even say it with all the letters in it.
- 13:23Speaker 1: That's about the account of Okay, ladies and gentlemen, you
- 13:28Speaker 1: heard it. Junior is married. Uh, we need a minute. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm going to drink. We're not coming right back. We
- 13:39Speaker 1: need a drink right after this. You're listening. It is
- 13:47Speaker 1: time now to run that prank back with Steve. What
- 13:51Speaker 1: you got, Steve and Junior, I've been doing it since
- 13:53Speaker 1: you and Tommy been out. You know, I didn't know
- 13:55Speaker 1: you were doing I'm skilling shot. But this is how
- 13:57Speaker 1: you announced it, said, make your announcement, Shirley. All right,
- 14:01Speaker 1: it is time now to run that prank back with Steve.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We did a church band run a cat. That's how
- 14:09Speaker 1: he did, or saying that's all that's set up when
- 14:14Speaker 1: you heard this damn prank. Let's go. Hello, I'm trying
- 14:21Speaker 1: to reach Dann brother, Brother Dan. Hello, Hello, cousin, see
- 14:25Speaker 1: you there. I'm trying to read brother Dare, Brother Dant. Okay, yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 1: this brother Scott from the Church and Belt the Baptist. Hello. Brother, Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 14:39Speaker 1: about the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Uh?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Will you drive the church man? And what's what's your schedule?
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'd love it. Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 14:54Speaker 1: now Sunday. What what is that schedule? Oh, Sunday. I
- 14:58Speaker 1: usually start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a
- 15:00Speaker 1: little earlier, depending on some of the elderly people that
- 15:03Speaker 1: I had to go pick up and bring to the church.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 15:10Speaker 1: make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 15:19Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 15:21Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 15:22Speaker 1: to dinner or something afterwards. But I usually get everybody
- 15:25Speaker 1: back home. Okay, okay, Now this class Sunday, which is
- 15:31Speaker 1: part of the reason why I'm calling me. They saying
- 15:35Speaker 1: that some of the church members that was on the
- 15:39Speaker 1: band this Sunday, they are complaining, saying that that the
- 15:45Speaker 1: church van was spending like weed when they got on there.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Excuse me, they say the church van was spending like
- 15:53Speaker 1: weed when they got on there. And you are the
- 15:56Speaker 1: person that was driving them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 16:00Speaker 1: not not the van that that I'm drying. I'm so
- 16:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't I ain't smoke weed, and
- 16:04Speaker 1: no van, do you smoke weed? No? I don't smoke weed.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I mean not Carly. I mean I have before, but
- 16:12Speaker 1: I don't smoke weed now, and I wouldn't smoke weed before.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Picking some people love to go to No, no, now
- 16:20Speaker 1: where you carry it from? Who told you this? Well?
- 16:23Speaker 1: All I knew is what what? What's coming down? The
- 16:25Speaker 1: pipeline is? They saying that a couple of the members
- 16:28Speaker 1: came complaining. See this just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 16:36Speaker 1: last week, they came at me talking about that I
- 16:39Speaker 1: was using the van to go places that I wanted
- 16:41Speaker 1: to go to on my personal time. Now I don't
- 16:43Speaker 1: do that. I don't do stuff like that, and now
- 16:45Speaker 1: I have had a pass, I don't had a history,
- 16:47Speaker 1: but I don't do stuff like that, and I wouldn't
- 16:49Speaker 1: smoke no church fan. So are you seriously talking? What? What? What? What? What?
- 16:54Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 16:56Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. Ulderly
- 17:00Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? Don't? They loved
- 17:04Speaker 1: me Every Sunday? Didn't people tell me they loved me?
- 17:06Speaker 1: They say I'm one of the most respectful young gentlemen
- 17:09Speaker 1: they've ever met in their life. And so I really
- 17:11Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that you you you getting
- 17:13Speaker 1: these type of complaints about me. Okay, what I'm saying
- 17:17Speaker 1: spell like who we I don't know what that means
- 17:19Speaker 1: or nothing like that. Look, brothers, now, I don't know
- 17:22Speaker 1: you too well, and I know you don't know leave.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But I've been driving this vans as a point to
- 17:27Speaker 1: try to change my life and where I come from.
- 17:30Speaker 1: So this was was something that I wanted to volunteer,
- 17:32Speaker 1: even though I'm getting paid to give my time to
- 17:35Speaker 1: do this for the church. And now this is like
- 17:37Speaker 1: the second instance where y'all and came at me on
- 17:39Speaker 1: some stuff about like I'm trying to do something with
- 17:42Speaker 1: this Vand now why would I disrespect the church van
- 17:44Speaker 1: by smoking weed in it and then letting the weeds
- 17:47Speaker 1: stay in there so other people could sell it? Okay,
- 17:49Speaker 1: so let me tell you what we're gonna do. We're
- 17:51Speaker 1: gonna go out here to the church they say can
- 17:53Speaker 1: open it up. Like if we see any seeds or
- 17:56Speaker 1: anything around the driver seat, then then then we're gonna
- 18:01Speaker 1: We're gonna definitely, uh point, gonna open the van up. Man,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I was raising that church. Man, My mamma go to
- 18:06Speaker 1: that church, my grandma. See you go to that church.
- 18:09Speaker 1: See the reason we even all left that church. And
- 18:11Speaker 1: you think I'm gonna mess up? They ain't. By driving
- 18:14Speaker 1: around in the band full of elderly people smoking and dad,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I don't know how to shut the band smell like weed? Man,
- 18:23Speaker 1: Now I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Did you ask some weed in your part I can't
- 18:30Speaker 1: admitted with just smelling. I ain't had no weed on me.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Stop trying to say like I had weed on me
- 18:35Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna get me nothing that I ain't
- 18:37Speaker 1: had no and we ain't had no weed on me. Okay, Now,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you ain't gonna mess up my name or my family's
- 18:41Speaker 1: name in this church and disrespect us like this. Now
- 18:44Speaker 1: we've been helping this church for years and I'm trying
- 18:47Speaker 1: to tell you that I ain't riding around and no vans,
- 18:49Speaker 1: smoking no weed with no elderly people. Did you ask
- 18:52Speaker 1: any of the elderly people if they had any weed
- 18:54Speaker 1: on them? Uh? No, we did no, No, I didn't
- 18:59Speaker 1: think about it. Oh, el people having a week, So
- 19:02Speaker 1: you just assume it's me what one of them? Guy
- 19:04Speaker 1: got coma or something? What? What? What? You know? What?
- 19:08Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? Do you know who I
- 19:10Speaker 1: think the weed belonged to? Oh? I think I think
- 19:14Speaker 1: the weed belonged the nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Show.
- 19:19Speaker 1: What the damn? You just got a prank? Oh my god,
- 19:30Speaker 1: you just got a prank to put his his name
- 19:32Speaker 1: his name is brother, uh brother Lawrence, Lawrence Lawrence. Oh
- 19:40Speaker 1: my Larry called Larry, but law Larry, Larry in trouble
- 19:50Speaker 1: with me. Hi, Man, I got one more thing that
- 19:59Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you. Man, what
- 20:01Speaker 1: is the saddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 20:05Speaker 1: in the land? Man, Steve Harvey Morning Man going no risk,
- 20:14Speaker 1: Man going on the chill out the rest of the day.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'll try, Man. I know I'm gonna smoke no weed.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Well that's it weed in the church. Fan, Hey, listen,
- 20:25Speaker 1: watch me on a ready ready for some love? All right?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is asked the CLO with our
- 20:35Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building, ready for
- 20:39Speaker 1: your love questions. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 20:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:46Speaker 1: the hour, and Entertainment News music executive Shaka Zulu faces
- 20:50Speaker 1: murder charges in Atlanta after a shooting U in Atlanta
- 20:54Speaker 1: back in June of this year. And Kim Kardashian dropped
- 20:57Speaker 1: about seventy million dollars on a Malibu beach house. But
- 21:01Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the CLO Chief
- 21:05Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one's from Cassandra and Tyler.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Cassandra writes, My husband and I have two teenagers, and
- 21:12Speaker 1: he is strict on our son, but not on our daughter.
- 21:15Speaker 1: She's seventeen and he won't let her get a job,
- 21:18Speaker 1: but he made our fifteen year old son work with
- 21:20Speaker 1: him all summer. How do I fix the imbalanced so
- 21:23Speaker 1: my son won't feel bad? So your son won't feel bad? Right, ma'am?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Your father is teaching your son
- 21:33Speaker 1: discipline and responsibility, which is what he has to do.
- 21:38Speaker 1: He's spoiling your daughter because he's showing your daughter what
- 21:42Speaker 1: the love of a man feels like. And it's putting
- 21:46Speaker 1: her on a pedestal. Now she's seventeen. It's dangerous out
- 21:51Speaker 1: here in this world. A day she going out getting
- 21:54Speaker 1: a job, got to work late hours. Maybe he's protecting
- 21:57Speaker 1: her from net until it's absolutely sini. On the other hand,
- 22:02Speaker 1: the boy has to get it and stop being the
- 22:05Speaker 1: colling mother when I indeed make my son I feel bad.
- 22:10Speaker 1: What you want to raise? You want to raise this
- 22:12Speaker 1: little chump. It's a little ragged ass boy. Don't don't
- 22:16Speaker 1: know nothing about no responsibility, doing like he want to
- 22:19Speaker 1: do because he's gonna be a man one day. See
- 22:22Speaker 1: your son may one day have a wife like you
- 22:25Speaker 1: and a daughter like his sister, and if he don't
- 22:28Speaker 1: have the ability to take care of her, he won't
- 22:30Speaker 1: even be able to give his daughter the choice of
- 22:32Speaker 1: staying home or going to work. Because my daddy ain't
- 22:36Speaker 1: worth a damn. So now I got to get out here.
- 22:39Speaker 1: So now, why are you calling me to ask me
- 22:42Speaker 1: what you can tell your father, your husband so your
- 22:45Speaker 1: son can feel better? Are you kidding me? Look, when
- 22:49Speaker 1: you you're married to a man, and you know you
- 22:51Speaker 1: have a good man, and he's in part of these
- 22:54Speaker 1: little nuggets on these boys about manhood, please allow that
- 22:58Speaker 1: to happen, because that's what wrong in our society today.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We have so many young men that didn't get the
- 23:04Speaker 1: nuggets of manhood. Then now they're walking around with a
- 23:07Speaker 1: whole different viewpoint of what manhood is. Just let that goal.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Congratulations you lucky. Nothing for your little side, little boy,
- 23:17Speaker 1: so he don't feel bad. I wish somebody had said
- 23:23Speaker 1: that to my father. What would have have doing that
- 23:27Speaker 1: so Steve won't feel bad? Who gave his ass permission
- 23:34Speaker 1: to feel Okay? It was a different household, So all right,
- 23:40Speaker 1: let's go all right, moving on to April and Philly
- 23:43Speaker 1: April says, I've been married for less than a year
- 23:46Speaker 1: and this lady came through the drive through at my
- 23:48Speaker 1: job and said she has been sleeping with my husband.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm his boss and he was at work, but he
- 23:54Speaker 1: refused to address her. I put him out of my house.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Should I fire him? To WHOA? Well, now you gotta
- 24:02Speaker 1: think about this lady. If you fire him, who's gonna
- 24:05Speaker 1: be the fry cook tomorrow? See you you up in here?
- 24:08Speaker 1: You you you you Washington judge. Who is gonna be
- 24:13Speaker 1: the fry cook tomorrow? If a lady pulls up your
- 24:16Speaker 1: drive through window and accuses you of sleeping with your
- 24:18Speaker 1: husband and your husband is at working, you the manager?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Clearly he ain't the manager. You said he works for you.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That ain't a couple positions back there, whatever I've been
- 24:32Speaker 1: back there, you either flipping or you dropping him fried
- 24:38Speaker 1: or you are rap duty today. Now, rap duty is
- 24:41Speaker 1: when you take the take the beat and put it
- 24:44Speaker 1: on the bun and dress it with whatever they're making. Now.
- 24:48Speaker 1: One of the fast foods you at, but I know
- 24:50Speaker 1: all of the stations, was Friedman at Burger Kings where Yeah, well,
- 25:00Speaker 1: let me tell you something when I moved up to
- 25:02Speaker 1: the broad master, boy what and could put them frozen
- 25:08Speaker 1: patties on the grilled and they rolled over that fire. Yes,
- 25:13Speaker 1: I can't tell you. Let me get this trait is
- 25:17Speaker 1: she should be more concerned about who's gonna be the
- 25:20Speaker 1: fried tomorrow than than a woman who's sleeping with her. Well,
- 25:24Speaker 1: that's that's for joke purposes. I know. I'm just thinking
- 25:29Speaker 1: of a woman that drove up through drive through, get
- 25:32Speaker 1: a number one, and then ask one number one, and
- 25:35Speaker 1: after pay one, then tells you, I'm sleeping with your hub.
- 25:40Speaker 1: He back that dropping fried. He heard her voice on
- 25:44Speaker 1: the intercom, so now he dropping extra fry. He heard
- 25:50Speaker 1: that intercom. You can hear people because everybody got a
- 25:52Speaker 1: hair set on back then the window like that, that'll
- 26:05Speaker 1: be eight ninety. Why don't you get it from the
- 26:07Speaker 1: man I'm sleeping with back there? He one told me
- 26:12Speaker 1: to come around here and get this free lunch. Oh man,
- 26:17Speaker 1: that's when you got to start throwing grease on the
- 26:20Speaker 1: floe and happened. Well, you got to create a distraction.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, what dog needed to do? He needs to
- 26:30Speaker 1: start a small five right now. That's at the restaurant.
- 26:37Speaker 1: So I would if I was hurt, I would take
- 26:39Speaker 1: it with the grain of salt. Who is this woman?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Think of this? Who's the lady that drives through a
- 26:44Speaker 1: drive to tell a woman I'm but she already put
- 26:47Speaker 1: the man out of the house. Yeah, that could have
- 26:50Speaker 1: been at and he and he has nowhere to go.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Now about fry cook paint. Let me tell you some
- 26:58Speaker 1: that ain't. They don't leave a lot for save you show, okay,
- 27:02Speaker 1: savor for the apartment as the fried coop. He could
- 27:05Speaker 1: go the hall apartment, said over the Hu. He is
- 27:11Speaker 1: definitely out. He back at a relative's house. You made
- 27:17Speaker 1: Fried Cook that money right there, I'm telling you right
- 27:19Speaker 1: now that was Let me see what that was? A dollar?
- 27:25Speaker 1: I think that was a dollar or sixty five, But
- 27:30Speaker 1: that was back then. Wage is higher now everything else
- 27:40Speaker 1: I do not. I do not relative house. All right, Well,
- 27:48Speaker 1: moving on, I guess Bailey and Tacoma said. My older
- 27:52Speaker 1: sister had a pool party last weekend and we all
- 27:54Speaker 1: got drunk. My sister's husband kissed me, and my little
- 27:57Speaker 1: sister saw it, and she told my mom what happened.
- 28:03Speaker 1: My older sister had a pool party last weekend. We
- 28:05Speaker 1: all got drunk. My sister's husband kissed me, and my
- 28:09Speaker 1: little sister saw it and told my mom My, Mama
- 28:12Speaker 1: is upset and said, I've got to tell my sister
- 28:14Speaker 1: about her husband. Should I really do that? From Bailey,
- 28:18Speaker 1: y'all got drunk. I would let that go. M I
- 28:22Speaker 1: would let that go and tell mom stay out of it. Mama.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Problem is if she let the sister's husband kiss her,
- 28:30Speaker 1: which I don't hear nothing about. No fight at the pool.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I didn't hear no. I snatched and fell into water,
- 28:38Speaker 1: We knocked over the bobby que. I didn't hear none
- 28:41Speaker 1: of that. So she might have fell into his arms
- 28:44Speaker 1: and really went with this. Okay, Mama, all right, thank you.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Cielo coming up at the top of the hour, we'll
- 28:51Speaker 1: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Shot kaZulu. That name may sound familiar to a lot
- 29:04Speaker 1: of people. Shakazulu is a long time music executive and
- 29:07Speaker 1: manager of rapper Ludicrous. He's been charged with murder, aggravated assault,
- 29:13Speaker 1: simple battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission
- 29:16Speaker 1: of a felony. According to arrest warrants, Shakazulu, whose real
- 29:21Speaker 1: name is Ahmed Obafemi is accused of fatally shooting a
- 29:26Speaker 1: twenty three year old man in the chest, grazing another
- 29:29Speaker 1: man in the leg, and assaulting a third man by
- 29:32Speaker 1: slamming his head against a window outside of apartment for
- 29:36Speaker 1: B restaurant in Atlanta. This happened back in June. Fifty
- 29:40Speaker 1: two year old Zulu turned himself in last week and
- 29:42Speaker 1: posted a two hundred thousand dollars bond. That same day,
- 29:46Speaker 1: Zulu and another man were both shot in the back,
- 29:49Speaker 1: but Zulu is the only arrest made in this case.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Zulu's lawyer issued this statement saying a close review of
- 29:58Speaker 1: all the evidence, including the surveillance footage and eyewitness interviews,
- 30:02Speaker 1: reveals that mister Zulu was attacked and jumped from behind
- 30:06Speaker 1: by a gang of at least four individuals, sadly including
- 30:10Speaker 1: the decedent, and was forced to defend himself after this
- 30:14Speaker 1: gang repeatedly stomped, punched, and kicked him while he was
- 30:18Speaker 1: on the ground in a defenseless posture. Mister Zulu was
- 30:23Speaker 1: shot in the back during the shooting and nearly lost
- 30:26Speaker 1: his life and is still recovering from the nearly fatal injuries.
- 30:30Speaker 1: He sustained that evening It is not lost on mister
- 30:34Speaker 1: Zulu that someone lost his life. But had mister Zulu
- 30:37Speaker 1: not lawfully defended himself, mister Zulu would have been killed
- 30:41Speaker 1: that night. Soah, that's a lot. And yeah, that's a
- 30:46Speaker 1: whole lot. That's really too bad because I've known this
- 30:50Speaker 1: brother for a number of years. Man, he's just always
- 30:54Speaker 1: been just a fine business man, a great guy man.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So I wish you well a whole His attorney is
- 31:01Speaker 1: correct with all this footage, that doesn't stop charges from
- 31:04Speaker 1: coming in. We have to remember something. Just because a
- 31:07Speaker 1: person's charge don't mean he's guilty, right, I mean, you know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: if this attorney's statements are true or remotely true, that
- 31:17Speaker 1: could be a cause for self defence. I just don't
- 31:20Speaker 1: see this guy walk around, uh, initiated a crime violence,
- 31:27Speaker 1: That's not shocking. We all know him. He's a standard guy,
- 31:30Speaker 1: philanthropy working on the city of Atlanta. He cares about
- 31:34Speaker 1: the community. This track record is pretty good. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: it's a good guy, all right. Yeah, So we'll keep
- 31:40Speaker 1: you posted on what happens and develops in this story.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Um and switching gears now. Earlier, Um, you know we
- 31:49Speaker 1: mentioned that Junior have been out for a week shirltte.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Your announcement is not the way I want to get
- 31:57Speaker 1: into this one shot. Polight, surely it's such a it's
- 32:02Speaker 1: wonderful this damn food and came in here this morning
- 32:07Speaker 1: and hold us I'm married now? Hell what? Yeah? Because
- 32:14Speaker 1: you remember all them questions I had been asking you.
- 32:16Speaker 1: That's what I was getting prepared for. That's why I
- 32:19Speaker 1: need to know that missed it. What happened. I was
- 32:23Speaker 1: strolling over the weekend. Over the weekend, I went down
- 32:26Speaker 1: there to the church and got married. I'm really we're
- 32:30Speaker 1: still bugging out about this. I want you to hear
- 32:33Speaker 1: high sound up over the weekend. Over the weekend, I
- 32:37Speaker 1: just you know when I got I got mad. You know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I asked mad. Now I went you know all the
- 32:45Speaker 1: questions I was asking you. I guess that was the
- 32:48Speaker 1: next thing I know. Oh no, I look ding dong.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm married, Junior. We we talk all the time. You
- 32:54Speaker 1: never once mentioned this to me ever, So Junior, you
- 32:58Speaker 1: are legally married right now. That's where that work is amazing.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You see your name marriage license? Boy? Who did you marry?
- 33:08Speaker 1: I'm married? Here, I'm married. I'm married a lady that
- 33:11Speaker 1: I've been dating for a very long time, and you know,
- 33:15Speaker 1: I just I love her. I mean, it really is
- 33:17Speaker 1: just you know when she walked in that when she
- 33:20Speaker 1: walked in that chap man, you ever think I've ever
- 33:22Speaker 1: seen that's that's that was what's so amazing. And I said,
- 33:27Speaker 1: God is actually on his mission. Man, he actually did
- 33:30Speaker 1: that for him. You're not gonna go from that statement.
- 33:35Speaker 1: You think you think you know she walked in and
- 33:44Speaker 1: I ever seen she's coming down the O was just like,
- 33:47Speaker 1: you know, God, it's you know him. All of a sudden,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm having this realization you know who I am, you know,
- 33:54Speaker 1: in this rold In life of crime and criminology that's
- 34:00Speaker 1: coming on the heels of that last story we just heard.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And I'm sitting the pig just trying to figure out
- 34:05Speaker 1: how God it's good to me, you know, because you know,
- 34:08Speaker 1: I felt shot myself. It was I felt like it
- 34:12Speaker 1: was a shot of love for me. You know, I
- 34:15Speaker 1: just tied it into the last story. It just felt
- 34:18Speaker 1: like a shot of love to me. I support you,
- 34:21Speaker 1: watch you. I hate to ask you this, junior, but
- 34:25Speaker 1: this is personal. But where she pregnant? No, no, I
- 34:30Speaker 1: too old for my friend. It was a little shot.
- 34:37Speaker 1: You ain't got any nobody. Yeah, that's no shotgun though,
- 34:43Speaker 1: you know. Congratulations, but in shock. So I know you
- 34:47Speaker 1: have kids. Look what a kid. I'm a husband, a father,
- 34:54Speaker 1: and a grandfather. One day I did all of that.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Oh you're gonna need they wait what Yeah, I've actually
- 35:03Speaker 1: and it has been missus Junior next because I got
- 35:06Speaker 1: grand Keiths. Have you heard your voice? Anybody from to
- 35:13Speaker 1: call you papa? Yeah? What hold on, mister Junior. We
- 35:20Speaker 1: gotta we gotta get the rest, he said. That's what
- 35:26Speaker 1: we have to call him. Now, all right? Coming up
- 35:28Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after Wow, we'll have more of the
- 35:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up. We have to talk
- 35:33Speaker 1: about this Jackson, Mississippi ongoing water crisis and what's been happening.
- 35:39Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 35:42Speaker 1: the Steven Show. A class action lawsuit has been brought
- 35:46Speaker 1: against the City of Jackson, Mississippi, and the city's ongoing
- 35:50Speaker 1: water crisis. It is the first federal class action lawsuits
- 35:53Speaker 1: seeking injective relief uh and monetary damages against various government
- 35:58Speaker 1: and private engineer entities over the neglect, mismanagement, and maintenance
- 36:03Speaker 1: failures that led to an environmental catastrophe, leaving more than
- 36:07Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty three thousand Jackson area residents without
- 36:11Speaker 1: access to safe running water. Legal counsel representing the plane
- 36:16Speaker 1: has stated government officials are turning a blind eye to
- 36:19Speaker 1: contaminated water and letting a major American city's infrastructure crumble
- 36:24Speaker 1: into disrepair. This lawsuit seeks to bring justice and safe
- 36:29Speaker 1: clean water to the Jackson community. Jackson's boil water notice
- 36:33Speaker 1: was lifted almost a week ago, but many Jackson residents
- 36:37Speaker 1: are still traumatized by the lead and harmful bacteria that
- 36:41Speaker 1: may still be lurking in the water supply. Wow, I mean, yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 1: this is sad. Yeah, this really really is. Yeah. Well
- 36:51Speaker 1: the sadness of it is, this only happens in communities
- 36:57Speaker 1: that are underserved, under hacks, under privilege and black period.
- 37:03Speaker 1: They don't happen nowhere else. This is what happened in Flint, Michigan. Yeah,
- 37:07Speaker 1: it only happens there. This don't happen in the Hamptons.
- 37:12Speaker 1: This is not gonna happen in the Prescott area in Dallas.
- 37:16Speaker 1: This won't happen in Plain Oh you know, no, this
- 37:20Speaker 1: won't happen in sugarloaf in Houston. It's not gonna happen.
- 37:25Speaker 1: It's well, it's a sugarloaf in Atlanta, and it's a
- 37:32Speaker 1: sugarland in Texas. This ain't gonna happen in Beverly Hill. No,
- 37:39Speaker 1: it's not. And you just have to you have to
- 37:41Speaker 1: just tell the truth about it. You know, everybody is
- 37:45Speaker 1: you know, our country as supposed to be the richest
- 37:49Speaker 1: and most opportunity, most opportunities available, and the freest country
- 37:55Speaker 1: of them all. That's how claim. But we find a
- 38:00Speaker 1: way to treat our people about as bad as a
- 38:05Speaker 1: country with that reputation can do. Now, if your country
- 38:08Speaker 1: don't have that reputation, if you led by a dictator,
- 38:11Speaker 1: that's a horrible tyrant, that's you. But we're talking about
- 38:16Speaker 1: the United States of America and the fact that we
- 38:19Speaker 1: can't even fix this wobbler problem with all our resources.
- 38:23Speaker 1: So hold on, let me ask you something. We can
- 38:26Speaker 1: put a man in a spaceship, take him to the moon,
- 38:28Speaker 1: land him and bring him back to the same landing place.
- 38:32Speaker 1: That's what we're able to do. But we can't get
- 38:35Speaker 1: the people in Jackson, Mississippi, some damn water. Help me
- 38:38Speaker 1: understand that, ready, set go help me, all right, Steve,
- 38:43Speaker 1: we're gonna move on and switch gears here because coming
- 38:46Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll talk
- 38:48Speaker 1: to sister O'Dell. She was over in London and we'll
- 38:52Speaker 1: see what happened over there for the queen's funeral. We'll
- 38:55Speaker 1: see right after this. You're listening morning show, all right, So, uh,
- 39:03Speaker 1: sister Odell is here. She brings us news from across
- 39:07Speaker 1: the pond. She was in England. Jesus h really convicted
- 39:18Speaker 1: sounding keep me long? Whoa he will? Yes? Gloray, good
- 39:41Speaker 1: morna is everyone? Hey, sister down your mon is Shirley
- 39:46Speaker 1: Colling Sippy Clare was happening to the water, sweetie. We're
- 39:52Speaker 1: gonna pray for you. Get it all straight for the
- 39:55Speaker 1: people's down there. Hey, junior boy morning Sis, No down
- 39:59Speaker 1: hurt you. I'd married this weekend and they don't tell nobody. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 1: that was dumb. How y'all today? What why don't say
- 40:12Speaker 1: that troll? The say nobody gonna say it to him,
- 40:15Speaker 1: but you tooth call h All right, that's fine with me.
- 40:18Speaker 1: They want him here phone? What's going on there? It
- 40:21Speaker 1: was well, I'm not even gonna talk to him because
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm gonna check. You're gonna check to
- 40:28Speaker 1: see if he really got married. My granddaughter works down
- 40:31Speaker 1: at the coat. I'm gonna call down and have her
- 40:35Speaker 1: do the art marriage license. Junior getting married, Well, he
- 40:44Speaker 1: is wearing a ring. That's that's some news. But the
- 40:47Speaker 1: other thing that's going on, we heard you were in England. Um,
- 40:51Speaker 1: we don't know. Did you go to the queen's funeral
- 40:53Speaker 1: or were you over there? Yes? I went over there,
- 40:55Speaker 1: you know, me and the queen. You shall roll who
- 41:00Speaker 1: wait a minute? What? Huh? Oh? She was queen. You know,
- 41:03Speaker 1: she was just a white girl waiting where the queen
- 41:13Speaker 1: samy years for that. She was just a white girl.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And that's when I know them, you know, And we
- 41:22Speaker 1: ran for twenty years. Then when she came queen, you know,
- 41:25Speaker 1: she got all up there, you know, unless she ain't
- 41:28Speaker 1: know nobody. Then, you know, we hung out a couple
- 41:31Speaker 1: of times after that, you know, you know, I had
- 41:35Speaker 1: to quit hanger with her because she started wearing all
- 41:37Speaker 1: them different colors, you know, or with the matching hat,

- 44:24Speaker 1: It's three days a man, it's tough one. You've been
- 44:27Speaker 1: doing it alone. What did you say? This is tough? Who? Man?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Three days in? Boy's pressure? Three days Yeah, man, I
- 44:42Speaker 1: need to come by the house talk to you. Three
- 44:44Speaker 1: days in after you don't need to bring that attitude
- 44:48Speaker 1: over here. Three days in maybe three days in him,
- 44:56Speaker 1: wait till the third year. I tell you it's right now.
- 45:05Speaker 1: The stuff we had to argument about last night, what
- 45:08Speaker 1: what I'll tell you. I'll tell you what. I'll tell
- 45:13Speaker 1: you about it in a minute. But right now, he's
- 45:14Speaker 1: your prank phone call, your check bounce. Come on cat, Hello, Hello,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Monica system. Monica please, who's calling?
- 45:24Speaker 1: This is brother Deshan. I'm calling. Actually I'm a member
- 45:28Speaker 1: Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you? Calling you?
- 45:31Speaker 1: Actually about the offering? Now? Did you? I know you
- 45:34Speaker 1: paid your ties every Sunday? Okay, Now you pay the
- 45:38Speaker 1: Love offering as well? Right? Yes? I do? Okay, Now
- 45:42Speaker 1: this past Sunday. I'm looking at a check that you
- 45:45Speaker 1: left us with the bank, right right, I sure did.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I wrote a check Sunday. Okay. Now the check, ma'am
- 45:51Speaker 1: was two hundred and fifty dollars. Am I correct? Right? Right?
- 45:55Speaker 1: I wrote two checks for my ties and the love offering? Right?
- 45:59Speaker 1: I wrote one for fifty for the Love offering? Okay?
- 46:01Speaker 1: Now what is this call regarding? Why are you calling me? Well?
- 46:05Speaker 1: What I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 46:07Speaker 1: to be a bar of bad news. But you your
- 46:10Speaker 1: check that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced.
- 46:14Speaker 1: And wait a minute, you said my check bounce for
- 46:17Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm doing is calling you about recouping the two fifth
- 46:24Speaker 1: as well as you know you you cost us thirty
- 46:27Speaker 1: dollars in bank fees. But wait a minute, now, I
- 46:30Speaker 1: wrote two checks. I wrote a check for one hundred dollars.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Did that one bounce? I don't see to it that
- 46:35Speaker 1: that that one bounced. All I know is the one
- 46:37Speaker 1: that the love offering has bounced. What did you put
- 46:40Speaker 1: them in at the same time? Because I wrote him
- 46:41Speaker 1: at the same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now,
- 46:45Speaker 1: I didn't put them in at the same time. I've
- 46:46Speaker 1: been putting them in for the last two three years.
- 46:48Speaker 1: The problem is why would people write the name m
- 46:51Speaker 1: brother Deshaun And you was at it Sunday, I was.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I don't think it matters, And when I was there, ma'm,
- 46:57Speaker 1: the problem is that I didn't put these checks in,
- 46:59Speaker 1: And I don't understand why y'all write these checks to
- 47:02Speaker 1: the tracks that they're gonna bunk. The chause a lot
- 47:05Speaker 1: of people write that good well not right? Bad checks? Well,
- 47:08Speaker 1: why one clear? Why the other one didn't clear? Maybe
- 47:11Speaker 1: you didn't have enough money for both of them to clear?
- 47:13Speaker 1: What what did you just say? Maybe you didn't have
- 47:16Speaker 1: enough money in the bank for both of them to clear.
- 47:18Speaker 1: And I don't understand why people right planning money in
- 47:20Speaker 1: the bank at all. My checks clear. I don't write
- 47:23Speaker 1: no rubber checks. Well, you wrote one on Sunday, and
- 47:26Speaker 1: that's the problem. How you're gonna try to give a look?
- 47:29Speaker 1: You wait a minute. I think you got me confused
- 47:31Speaker 1: with somebody else. I don't write no bad checks. You
- 47:33Speaker 1: didn't wrote that to be nice to you. I'm trying
- 47:35Speaker 1: to be nice to you. When can we expect the
- 47:37Speaker 1: two fifty plus the thirty dollars? So thirty dollars that's
- 47:41Speaker 1: the bank feeds man for the doll gonna check bouncing?
- 47:44Speaker 1: My check didn't bounce. I don't check my bank. And
- 47:47Speaker 1: if my check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty dollars
- 47:49Speaker 1: for calling me, harassing me about a two hundred and
- 47:52Speaker 1: fifty dollars check bounce. I don't write no Why would
- 47:55Speaker 1: you write check? What? You want to sit up in
- 47:57Speaker 1: the church and write these big number checks when you
- 47:59Speaker 1: know you ain't got it in the bank. What did
- 48:01Speaker 1: you say? I said, why would you write these checks
- 48:04Speaker 1: when the money ain't in? Now, let me tell you
- 48:07Speaker 1: that's one thing. I don't write no bad check. And
- 48:10Speaker 1: you got a lot of nerves calling me telling me
- 48:12Speaker 1: my check bounce, y'all. Check is the one that has bounce.
- 48:15Speaker 1: And you tell you what you do since my check bounce,
- 48:18Speaker 1: you paid them, since you got all the money, And
- 48:20Speaker 1: don't call me with this again. Hello, don't you hang
- 48:26Speaker 1: upon me no more? Why don't we gonna get this
- 48:28Speaker 1: two fifty and this thirty dollars? Somebody from the church
- 48:33Speaker 1: to my I wrote a bad check, I'll write, No,
- 48:35Speaker 1: you didn't write a bad check. I didn't write no
- 48:38Speaker 1: bad Yes, why are you calling me? Why the treasure?
- 48:42Speaker 1: Don't call me at church? The treasure is bis. I
- 48:45Speaker 1: ain't ever know the deacon called nobody about no bad check?
- 48:47Speaker 1: Your fully and thank you? You got the money I
- 48:53Speaker 1: ain't got. Who the hell is that in the background?
- 48:55Speaker 1: Who is that? For mine? Who it is? We both
- 48:57Speaker 1: go to the same church, and you're gonna call me
- 49:00Speaker 1: to my I wrote a bad check? You don't you
- 49:02Speaker 1: call me no more. And if the check bads, you paid? Okay?
- 49:06Speaker 1: He passed to know you talking like this? Do pass
- 49:08Speaker 1: to No you calling me? Can you ask for that? Look?
- 49:11Speaker 1: When are we gonna get this two hundred and eighty dollars?
- 49:14Speaker 1: It's what we're looking for from you. I wrote a
- 49:15Speaker 1: check for two fifty and not get two eighty. You
- 49:19Speaker 1: put the thirty dollars with it. You put two fifty
- 49:22Speaker 1: in there. It bounce. Thirty dollars cost us on bake fees.
- 49:25Speaker 1: That's two eighty. Waken the church. Expect the money. Never
- 49:30Speaker 1: not no two eighty. You will never get to eighty.
- 49:32Speaker 1: You're gonna make me come by your and my check
- 49:34Speaker 1: in But what did you say? I'm gonna do what
- 49:36Speaker 1: You're gonna make me come by your house and get
- 49:38Speaker 1: this money? Bring it on, bring it, bring it? What
- 49:42Speaker 1: is the address on this check? Check? I got it
- 49:45Speaker 1: off the check, bring your own. I bet you you'll
- 49:47Speaker 1: be limping back and I'm watching you. You bet not
- 49:50Speaker 1: be spending no money nowhere. You bet not spend nothing
- 49:53Speaker 1: until I get this two fifty plus thirty whatever I
- 49:56Speaker 1: want to Okay, No, you you know where I am
- 49:59Speaker 1: and you don't call no more with this because my
- 50:02Speaker 1: check did not bounce. I don't see how one check
- 50:04Speaker 1: went through and the other bounce. Let me say this
- 50:06Speaker 1: to you, we cannot accept you back into the House
- 50:09Speaker 1: of the Lord no more until you are not don't
- 50:12Speaker 1: you come in the Sunday until we get coming up
- 50:14Speaker 1: in the Sunday, and I'm gonna make sure I find
- 50:17Speaker 1: you because you the person I want to see you.
- 50:21Speaker 1: And you know what, I'm gonna call the pastor right
- 50:23Speaker 1: now and asked him because I don't believe my check bounce.
- 50:25Speaker 1: You fuller what Let me say this before you called
- 50:28Speaker 1: pastor I got. No, I'm gonna called pastor. No, you
- 50:30Speaker 1: should have talked with pastor before you call me with
- 50:33Speaker 1: this information. I got one more thing I need to say.
- 50:35Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing to say to me. You don't
- 50:37Speaker 1: upset me with this I'm talking about I bounced a check.
- 50:40Speaker 1: You should have went to pastor before you call me
- 50:43Speaker 1: with you. I tall Pastor one I get, But I
- 50:45Speaker 1: got one more thing to say before I leave that
- 50:47Speaker 1: you're listening. What are you about to say to me?
- 50:49Speaker 1: What do you have to say now that you're gonna
- 50:51Speaker 1: pay the check? This is nephew timing from the Steve
- 50:55Speaker 1: Harvey Martin Show. You just got prayed by your girlfriend.
- 51:03Speaker 1: What did you say, baby? This isn't what did you say?
- 51:09Speaker 1: I'd say, this is nephew, Tommy, baby brother, Steve Harvey Morning.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Tell your girlfriend has pranked you. I'm gonna beat that.
- 51:18Speaker 1: She just left hid her. She didn't let me ask
- 51:24Speaker 1: you one more thing though, baby? What is the baddest
- 51:27Speaker 1: radio show in the land, the Steve Harvey That is it?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Your check back? That's good, hey, Julian, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 51:40Speaker 1: what y'all have an argument two days there about what
- 51:44Speaker 1: side of the bed? She won't now, now, I ain't,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I ain't never you know, I'm left handed. I need
- 51:50Speaker 1: to be on the left side. She said, I like
- 51:52Speaker 1: sleep on the left. But I'm yeah, that will be arguing.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Who is she? Who is she? My wife? Yeah, you
- 51:58Speaker 1: don't even have the voice tones. That's what That's what
- 52:04Speaker 1: the whole thing about. Like She's like, I'm sleeping on
- 52:07Speaker 1: the left side, and I think it because my tone.
- 52:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to be aggressive with us. It didn't really work.
- 52:11Speaker 1: It didn't come back right, you know what I mean. Like, listen,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I'm sleeping on the left side. Understand me. Yeah, that
- 52:19Speaker 1: don't make nobody even roll over. Nobody, let alone get
- 52:23Speaker 1: up in the switch side. That ain't even to roll over.
- 52:25Speaker 1: I hear that thing. How how do you stop? Steve?
- 52:30Speaker 1: Why did he say? Hey, Hey, I'm sleeping on the
- 52:34Speaker 1: left side. I'm left handed. You hear me, I'm left handed.
- 52:41Speaker 1: I'm on livet side. Listen it bad ain't big enough
- 52:47Speaker 1: for the two of us. Didn't move. I said this
- 52:51Speaker 1: bad ain't big enough for the two of us. We
- 52:55Speaker 1: gotta pray. Oh. Coming up next, it is the Strawberry
- 53:01Speaker 1: Letter for today. The subject is I'm trying not to
- 53:04Speaker 1: run him away. We'll get into it right after this.

- 53:12Speaker 1: it's time now forward today's Strawberry Letter and listen. If

- 53:19Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM dot com.
- 53:22Speaker 1: All you have to do is click submit Strawberry Letter.
- 53:24Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 53:28Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 53:32Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the
- 53:34Speaker 1: Strawberry re Letter. My good friend Shirley straw theory. Are
- 53:37Speaker 1: we really good, Steven Junior? Are we really good? Okay? Subject,
- 53:44Speaker 1: Thank you Subject. I'm trying not to run him away.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty seven year old woman
- 53:52Speaker 1: and I'm with a man that is out of my league.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. I have a great job and
- 53:58Speaker 1: I'm educated, but my past is sketchy. He's a surgeon
- 54:02Speaker 1: and his daughter just finished medical school. He's been divorced
- 54:06Speaker 1: for six years, and he's ready to settle down with me.
- 54:10Speaker 1: We met on a site for professional singles, and we've
- 54:13Speaker 1: been dating for almost a year. I've never been married,
- 54:17Speaker 1: but I worked as an escort and lived with a
- 54:20Speaker 1: man for fourteen years. Some say he was my pimp,
- 54:24Speaker 1: but I looked at it as a business that we
- 54:27Speaker 1: ran together and we made a lot of money. During
- 54:30Speaker 1: that time. I had a son by one of the
- 54:32Speaker 1: guys I saw regularly. The guy found out he was
- 54:36Speaker 1: the father and he filed for custody and one because
- 54:39Speaker 1: of my lifestyle. I have a good relationship with my son,
- 54:43Speaker 1: and I paid for his private school tuition up until
- 54:46Speaker 1: he graduated two years ago. I want to share this
- 54:49Speaker 1: part of my past with my new boyfriend, but I
- 54:52Speaker 1: do not want to run him away. I can't get
- 54:55Speaker 1: that time back that I wasted as an escort, but
- 54:58Speaker 1: I made sure that I changed my life for the better.
- 55:02Speaker 1: My new man and I have run into my ex
- 55:05Speaker 1: pimp or whatever he was, and I told my boyfriend
- 55:08Speaker 1: that he's an ex boyfriend. In the past, my ex
- 55:11Speaker 1: pimp purposely destroyed a great relationship I was in simply
- 55:15Speaker 1: because he was jealous. I can't let my new man
- 55:18Speaker 1: find out that way. I have not even told him
- 55:21Speaker 1: that I have a son. What kind of man will
- 55:24Speaker 1: be okay with this? I feel like the longer I wait,
- 55:27Speaker 1: the worse it will be. I have been in counseling
- 55:30Speaker 1: because I don't feel worthy of a good man like this.
- 55:33Speaker 1: But I know we all have skeletons. Do you think
- 55:36Speaker 1: he will judge me or dump me? Well, he might
- 55:42Speaker 1: do both, but that of course depends on how he
- 55:45Speaker 1: feels about you and the plans he has for you.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Guys moving forward, you said he wants to settle down
- 55:51Speaker 1: with you, but he doesn't have all the facts. He
- 55:54Speaker 1: doesn't know about your past, and he doesn't know that
- 55:56Speaker 1: you have a son. Everyone in life, each and every
- 56:01Speaker 1: one of us has a past. Yours is different and
- 56:05Speaker 1: yours is way more colorful than a lot of people's. Yes,
- 56:08Speaker 1: it is, But the thing is you say you are
- 56:11Speaker 1: no longer that person. That's what I'm going to focus on.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You've changed for the better, but you can't seem to
- 56:18Speaker 1: get past your past. So how do you expect others
- 56:21Speaker 1: to get past your past? You are constantly judging yourself.
- 56:26Speaker 1: You're ashamed, you haven't forgiven yourself. You're living with all
- 56:29Speaker 1: this guilt and fear. This has to be eating you
- 56:32Speaker 1: up inside. But who are you now? Who are you now?
- 56:36Speaker 1: That should be your focus. You know, you do need
- 56:40Speaker 1: to sit down with this man and tell him you
- 56:42Speaker 1: have a son who stays with his dad. Not telling
- 56:46Speaker 1: him that looks very suspicious, like what else is she hiding?
- 56:49Speaker 1: He's going to be thinking. You do not want him
- 56:52Speaker 1: to think you're faking. You do not want him to
- 56:54Speaker 1: think that you're not who he thought you were. I mean,
- 56:56Speaker 1: you're not. But you know you'll have to explain that.
- 57:00Speaker 1: You don't want him to find out from someone else.
- 57:02Speaker 1: You will lose his trust that way. You gotta tell
- 57:06Speaker 1: him you have a son. He will ask you why
- 57:08Speaker 1: you didn't tell him before. That's gonna be a red
- 57:11Speaker 1: flag for him. So I honestly think it's best to
- 57:14Speaker 1: come clean with your guy now, right now, and tell
- 57:18Speaker 1: him about your past. You got to do it. You
- 57:20Speaker 1: don't have to tell him every little detail. And please
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't want to mention the word pimp to him. Please
- 57:27Speaker 1: don't do that. But tell him something you have to
- 57:30Speaker 1: because at some point you're gonna have to face your past,
- 57:33Speaker 1: deal with it, let it go. It happened, you cannot
- 57:36Speaker 1: change it. You're better personnel, you're worthy and valuable. You're
- 57:40Speaker 1: seeing a therapist. I hope that they're telling you not
- 57:44Speaker 1: to beat yourself up. You beat yourself up enough about
- 57:46Speaker 1: your past. It's time to look to the future. If
- 57:49Speaker 1: your boyfriend really loves you and want you, he will
- 57:51Speaker 1: accept you for who you are now. But you also
- 57:55Speaker 1: you also have to accept who you are and who
- 57:58Speaker 1: you were, deal with that and move on with your life. Steve,
- 58:03Speaker 1: I don't I don't know if I can. It wasn't
- 58:07Speaker 1: because what I'm gonna tell you it's gonna be a
- 58:09Speaker 1: little bit different from what Shirley says, and you have
- 58:14Speaker 1: to wear it out for yourself. All right, let's go.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I'm trying not to run him away. I'm a funny
- 58:20Speaker 1: seven year old woman. I'm with the man that's out
- 58:22Speaker 1: of my league. Don't get me wrong. I have a
- 58:24Speaker 1: great job and I'm educated, but my past is sketching.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Whenever you start a letter like this, we have a problem.
- 58:33Speaker 1: How are you dating a man that's out of your
- 58:35Speaker 1: league when clearly men have one objective to marry up.
- 58:42Speaker 1: We will get the best chick that we could get,
- 58:49Speaker 1: the one that makes us look and feel the best.
- 58:53Speaker 1: So stop thinking you're out of his league, because you're not. Now,
- 58:59Speaker 1: because I've known a whole letter, I was going to
- 59:01Speaker 1: tell you. You say, I'm educated, but my past is scheduling.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I know a lot of people, some sketchy pass I
- 59:10Speaker 1: can't tell you half of mine. He's a surgeon and
- 59:14Speaker 1: his daughter just finished medical school. He's been divorced for
- 59:17Speaker 1: six years, and he's ready to settle down with me.
- 59:19Speaker 1: We went on the site for We met on the
- 59:21Speaker 1: site for professional singles. We've been dating for almost a
- 59:25Speaker 1: year now. I've never been married, but I worked as
- 59:30Speaker 1: an escort and live with a man for fourteen years.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Something say he was my pimp right here? Hold on, Steve, Yeah,

- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: The subject I'm trying not to run him away. Well,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: it's forty seven year old lady that's dating a man.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: She claims he's out of league, and she just says,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. I got a great job and educated,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: but my past is sketching. Well, her pass is sketching.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: But you shouldn't be. You shouldn't allow yourself to be
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: married to your past. It's the future in who you
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: are now. That's the key to this whole thing. Right.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: But now we have problems because we're gonna get some information.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: He's been divorced for six years. Rady to settle down
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: with me. We met on the site of Professional Singles.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: We've been dating for almost a year. I've never been married,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: but I worked as an escort and I lived with
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: a man for fourteen years and something say he was
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: my pimp. Some say he was my pimp, but I
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: looked at it as a business and we were that
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: we ran together, and we made a lot of money.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Don't repeat that ignorant ass line to nobody else. Now,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: we can't help you if you're gonna keep saying dumb
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: sugar honey, iced tea, and that's all. This is damn
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: it to write us with this information and didn't want
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: some damn help talking about I've been mad, I worked
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: as an ascot and I live with a man fourteen years.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Something to say he was my pimp, but I looked
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: at it as a business that we ran together. We
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: made a lot of money. But during that time I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: had a son by one of the guys. I saw
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: regularly what the guy found out he was a father
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and file for custody in one because of my lifestyle.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: What lady, you can't tell this to no damn body.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: It ain't going over good with me. I don't even
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: want you, and you don't judge like that. But you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: give me this information and the next word out of
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: my mouth is I want to marry you. I suffer
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: wrong with me at this point, I'm just gonna be
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: honest with all y'all listening. Steve, give a hope and
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: all like that. You messed up, though, because you started
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the relationship wrong. You didn't divulge this information, and you
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: can't pop this on this man. Now. I have a
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: good relationship with my son, and I paid for his
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: private school tuition until he graduated two years ago. I
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: want to share this part of my past with my
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: new boyfriend, but I don't want to run him away later.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: He gone. As soon as you say this, he gone.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: And I can't thinking no man that would state unless
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: his other hustle when he ain't being a surgeon is
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: is he a him? What? I don't know of a
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: guy that can sign up for this. I can't get
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: that time back that I wasted as an escort, but
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I made sure that I changed my life for the better. Okay,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: now we're working with a positive You've changed your life,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: You're moving forward. That's good, congratulations. But the thing about
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: seeing is that I learned it cost you more than
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you want to pay, and it makes you stay longer.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Than you want to stay, and everybody gotta seeing that,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: they got to deal with you. Congratulations on pulling yourself
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: together and climbing up and changing your life, and I
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: commend you with that system. My new man and I
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: have run into my ex pimp or what I've just
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: told you to quit say. Stop saying that. I just
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: told your ass full lines back, stop saying escort and pimp.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Now you're talking about you ran up into your ex
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: pimp or whatever he was. You know what he was.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: He was the pimp. Y'all run a business together and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you're the only one with the product, and he's staying
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: at the house collected money. That's a pimp. And I
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: told my boyfriend that he's an ex boyfriend in the past,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: my ex pimping. Damn it, I just told you to
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: quit saying pimp. My ex pimp purposely destroyed a great
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: relationship I was in simply because he was jealous. I
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: can't let my new man find out that way. Well,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: how else gonna find out? I have not even told
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: him that I have a son. Later. What kind of
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: man will be okay with this? I don't know. Unless
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: het a pimp, A pimp flash surgeon, surgeon, he's pimping
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: on the side. I feel the longest I wait, the
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: worst thing will be. It's already been a year. I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: will be in I've been in counseling because I don't
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: feel worthy of a good man like this. You can
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: get out of counseling. You need prayer. But I do
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: know we have all have skeleton. Do you think he
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: would judge me and dump me? He gonna go write
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: this one off? Start over, douces. The next man you meet,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: tell him that you have a son. You can leave
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: your path out of this. What have you been doing?
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I've been working various jobs. Stop saying that escort. Stop
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: saying you had a pimp. You don't have to report
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: that news to nobody. It ain't nobody's damn business. Everybody
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: deserves to recover and get it right. Right now. You now,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I think you should go ahead and tell this guy
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and see what he do. Ye all right, Steve, please
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: leave your kind on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM and
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: check out you try to running when you tell him up.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Next it is Sports Talk with the newly married Junior.

- 1:06:40Speaker 1: never gonna understand. No, you cannot figure woman out. Put
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: your damn hand down. I'm just saying you. Remember you
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: had told me a while back, like you're time for
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: you to get out, me to gonna get married. Well
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I went when I tell you that, But about three
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: years ago you said, Joe, you're time, it's time. You
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: look like an old horse after end and yeah, get married.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Remember that? Well, now I got married now now yeah,

- 1:07:15Speaker 1: you should be married. He's working on it. Yeah, And
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: so I'm just saying, no, now I got married. Now
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: what I do? What? Yeah? I didn't got married. Now
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: now what I'm supposed to do? It's so worried. You
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: don't even understand what this is. What am I supposed
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: to do now? Yeah, because I've been hurt him. Tell
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: he needs to hear the truth. Junior, you now belong
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: to another person. You have signed up for a contract
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: that allows this person to determine a lot of things
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: in your life that you've never needed help with before.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Why we got to park back here? It's places closer
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: because I don't want to body scratch the cop. But
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I don't want to walk this far. Wait, wait, wait,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I've never had to consider yeah, this type of stuff. Yeah,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: you have to do all of this everything. Why you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: lead that dope? Because because if I go back over
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: there to get another cookie, I ain't got to open
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the door. The damn it closed the dough and opened
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it every time you won't a cookie. I'll tell you something.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I've realized that when I go get a bottle of water,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I got to bring two back. I just came back
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: with one bottle of water getting Oh you're stupid ass,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Thank you the only one Thursday. Oh you're gonna want
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: some sex, but I can't get no water. What I've
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: been doing that, that's the weird thing you talked about.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I've been doing that five days. I ain't understood none
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: of this. Yeah heard, Oh you all right? We got
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: to move on, Junior, coming up. I don't know how
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: we can, but we're going to coming up on the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: top of the US. Did you know that middle age
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: white women travel to Africa for sex? Surprise anyone? All right,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: women travel to Africa for sex. I understand, We'll be
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to show, all right. So,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: did you guys know that Gambia is the biggest sex
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: tourism destination in Africa for European women who now he is? Yeah? Yes,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Older retired British women and other European women visit the
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: country in search of young men to date or pay
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: for sex. The men are called bumpsters and this is
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: big business for the young African men. But after more
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: than thirty years of seeing thousands of middle aged and
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: older women visit annually for sex tourism, the Gambia government
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: is sick of it and seeks to change Gambia's reputation.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: The director of Gambia's tourism boards stayed at huh would
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you say I know what some dude, I'd be here.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Why are you talking to us about this? The director
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: of Gambia's Turia Gambia's tourism boards stated what we want
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: is quality tourists, tourists that come to enjoy the country
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: and the culture, but not tourists that just come for sex.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: You say what, Steve Harvey, I mean, I understand that
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: what the government is saying. And all this here. Oh
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: we're talking about supplying demand. Okay, they're coming over here
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: demanding it. I don't know what you want to do
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: is to do of course they all do this. Let
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and you know, I don't know what like. Yeah, they
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: might be called bumpsters, but you know, you gotta find
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: them from somewhere. So they gotta have the business cards websites. Huh.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: You know you could commercials out commercial? Hum come to Africa? Yea,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the where that really? Yeah, we've carried your bags, we've
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: picked your cotton. Now come let her lay your ass.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: That's the commercial. Now here's another commercial. Tired of feeling guilty, colonials,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: they shouldn't bothering you, Oh, guilt racking your nerves. Come
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to Gambia and pay us all back. It's a small gesture,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: but come and cleanse yourself in the motherland. In the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: drum Star everything is drum. Everything is done by the
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: beat of the drum. Yeah, pick the beat you like
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: and we'll match you up with the boy boo. Yeah
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: that's choice one. Choice twoooooooooo, Choice three. You could have
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: got this in Jackson, Mississippi with the Sonic Boom. Yeah,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you didn't have to go to Africa for that. You
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: could have went to the HBCU. You gonna ain't yourself
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: a whole lot of money in that trip. If that's
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: what y'all trying to do. We're doing the same thing
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: over here. Oh how much they get paid? Yeah, I
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: mean Gamby shit, did embraced this definitely? Really they really
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: should embrace it. Well they did for thirty years or
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: for me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, they want it. They want
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: to clean up their image though, going embrace it. Don't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: just come over here for sex. Enjoy our country, enjoy
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: our culture. Okay, it's helping the economy though. It's helping
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: the economy, Yeah it is, he says commerce. Yeah, it's
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: driven him. Yeah, it is definitely. I got to look
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: it up and see how that is going on the series. Yeah,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: because I've never heard much, no, neither of mine. Yeah,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I know they've been doing it over here with athletes
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: for years, last years. Alright, do what you gotta do?
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Save Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Here's a question for you. Would you enroll your child
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: in the Donda Academy, that's the question. It's Kanye's exclusive
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: private school in California, and reportedly Kanye makes the parents
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: of the students sign a non disclosure agreement before the
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: child is admitted. A consultant to Donda Academy stated that
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: parents who want to enroll their children in the school
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: are looking for a good Christian school in that area,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and there's also a certain notoriety that comes with being
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: affiliated with Donda, so there's no need to advertise. The
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: school has around one hundred children currently enrolled and for
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the record, no, Kanye's own children do not attend the school.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Remember he spoke out on social media about that a
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago. The school is not accredited by
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: the state of California. If the kids ain't, then why
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: am I going? That's well, him and Kim are battling
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, yeah, he came out and talked about that.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I mean, well, I think child, I think accredited, Yeah,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: something like that. That's opening the school. Yeah yeah. If
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: it's not accredited, how did the kids get credited? Forward? Yeah,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: you gotta work on that part. I mean I was assuming. Yeah,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you want to make an accreditation, that's that legitimized exacts.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: What you don't want to do is have these kids
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: go to school, and then when they had to go
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: to school, they got to start over. But what I do,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: like nine, all right, we'll get more of the Seed
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Harway Morning Show coming up in thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: play around it would you rather it? After this? You're listening,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: all right, it is time now for a round of
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather always be underdressed and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: tacky or be overdressed and gaudy and just gaudy? But
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I was this weekend overdressed and gaudy dressed, tachy overdressing.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the overdressing. To feel about it,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it. Yeah, I'm going overdressed. Yeah. I
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: know we have a picnic, and I know the suit
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: is pink, but this is all I had. What's with
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: that big brooch on your lapel. Yeah all right. Would
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: you rather be bad in bed and not know it?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Or have a bad or have bad body odor and
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: not know it? So bad in bed and not know it,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: or have bad body odor and not know it. I'm
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: going with a because he's I'm busy. I'm busy, though
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: you might not be good at it. From you be
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: bad and bed and don't go with that bad body
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: older and don't know it? Yeah yeah, yeah, I smell good,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: but I'm busy. Well what see, Well it's a twofold
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: questions because now I go with being bad in bed
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: and don't know it. Yeah yeah, but my pride life
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I could not a lie after happened. So, fellow reputation,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you rather have bad? Yeah you know, but you've never
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: heard that about me? Well he wasn't nothing else that's fun. No,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: a lot of stuff out me, but everyone ran out
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: of nowhere. But you'd rather people say bad body older?
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: My bad dog just came from the gym. Every every time,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: you know, I saw you fall back, I saw you
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: fall back. Just now I think I know what that is.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: My bad I followed that. Whoa, I ain't gotta be
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: a little bit too. All right, now, all right, now, yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I said my bad. Hey dog, Hey dog, come on, man,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: you ain't gotta wipe your ass with t Come on now,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: come on, but it, come on, dog dog, come on now,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: get about the flow. All this faintness still stop that? Yeah?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: All right? Um? Last one? I think depending on time? Uh, Junior,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: newly married, would you rather forget your wife's birthday or
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: forget your anniversary? Forget her anniversary? Forget that anniversary? I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: mean to be averse. I have to get that birthday. No,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: you're not, you know you're not. That's the wrong ass.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: All right, damn, Junior, you got work, you got work
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to do. All right, we'll be back with our last
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: break of the day and at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day, and
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: it is time for some closing remarks from the one
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. What you got, Steve, Well, my
