- 0:00The B -Side in boxing. B -Side shit. B -Side.
- 0:04B -Side. And the B -Side. You got a B -Side.
- 0:06The B -Side. B -Side. B -Side. B -Side. That
- 0:10B -Side thing. This is the B -Sides Boxing Podcast.
- 0:42Shall we do the thing? Hell yeah. All right.
- 0:48Boxing B -sides, back up in your ears. I'm joined
- 0:51by the one and only Saul. What's up, guys? After
- 0:55a long week of a hiatus. Yeah, it's been a little
- 0:58while, but we're back. We're here to start off
- 1:03with fucking MMA, what? Just because Ultimate
- 1:08F and Casuals are brothers in arms. Over on the
- 1:12MMA side of the house. We talk boxing over there
- 1:15quite often. Let's see. There's a big pay -per
- 1:22-view coming up this weekend. It's UFC 320. There
- 1:26are some actually good fights on here. Just ones
- 1:30that stand out to me. At the very beginning of
- 1:34the build, Patchy Mix versus Jakub Vyklac. V
- 1:41Klatsch. I think I got that right. The mouthful?
- 1:45Yeah. It's a Polish name and has a lot of letter
- 1:49herpes. And all this fucking shit. Moving up
- 1:57to Bill, Josh Emmett versus Yusuf Zalal. And
- 2:01Yuri Prostka versus Khalil Rountree. That's one
- 2:04to definitely keep an eye on. And the main event,
- 2:08Magomed Ankolaev. The current light heavyweight
- 2:11champ is fighting the previous champ, Alex Pajero.
- 2:16And AP is all action. Typically. Might be good.
- 2:21Might be bad. Might just be what happened last
- 2:24time. Might be a knockout. You never know. Tune
- 2:26in. Yeah. I got Isaac to write us a boxing fan's
- 2:30guide. So he wrote it for the top three fights.
- 2:34Let's see. Marab versus Sandhagen. This is a
- 2:40bantamweight fight. There will be wrestling involved,
- 2:44but Murab is high octane, perhaps the most outrageous
- 2:47gas tank in combat sports history. Sandhagen
- 2:50is a fun and creative striker, but unless he
- 2:53finds a KO shot or a big knee, it'll be hard
- 2:55for him to win. I'd tune into this if you can
- 2:58tolerate some wrestling. Moving up, he had Yuri
- 3:06Proska. and Khalil Rountree as well. His words,
- 3:09high likelihood of being a fun scrap with a KO.
- 3:12Probably little to no wrestling. I'd say must
- 3:16watch. You're a box fan. 100%. And... The main
- 3:36event, Ankalayev versus Pajero 2. His words,
- 3:41I'm 50 -50 on if this fight will be fun or not,
- 3:44but I'd say turn it on if you have nothing else
- 3:46to watch or do. Ankalayev could wrestle a bit,
- 3:50so beware. Both have good striking, with Pajero
- 3:53having good KO power. So there it is. That's
- 4:01Isaac's Boxing Fans Guide. Let's get into the
- 4:09recaps because we do have a little bit to get
- 4:11through. We're digging back to early or early
- 4:17mid -September. Do you remember the ring card?
- 4:24What is it like? The underdog or something like
- 4:28that? The underdog? What do you mean? That's
- 4:32just what they called the card was the underdog.
- 4:35Or is that the boxing Grand Prix? No. It was
- 4:40Fontainebleau, Anthony Olasquaga stops Juan Carlos
- 4:44Camacho. When you say the fighters, I don't remember.
- 4:48Anthony Olasquaga and the good up -and -comers.
- 4:54See what happens in the future. WBO flyweight
- 4:58title. My man's tearing it up. Moving to September
- 5:0513th. Yeah, we already talked about Crawford
- 5:07beating Canelo. We have the whole episode about
- 5:10it. We talked about practically nothing else.
- 5:13The ending of boxing. This is actually the first
- 5:16podcast of the new era. It is. The new era of
- 5:20boxing. And we'll get to that soon. Why it's
- 5:22the new era. All right. So Matchroom was on at
- 5:27the Windsor Park in Belfast. A few fights here.
- 5:32Josh alluded to it. Molly McCann making her boxing
- 5:36debut stops Kate Radomska in the sixth. Takes
- 5:43a fucking front kick. Shit was super blatant.
- 5:47I went back to rewatch just to remind myself.
- 5:50Wild. Holy shit. How the fuck did the ref miss
- 5:53that? I have no idea. Paid him off. With all
- 5:58that fucking money. I don't know how they got
- 6:01away with it. It's wild. Yeah, I couldn't even
- 6:04begin to guess how she got away with that. It
- 6:08has to be like some biased bullshit that they
- 6:11have over there. Molly McCann, I think, is from
- 6:16Liverpool. And they were in Ireland. I don't
- 6:21know. Maybe it was that. I say this like one
- 6:25of our fighters didn't take a knee in the middle
- 6:26of a fight. Who knows? Ref's always on some silly
- 6:32shit. I was talking about that with Shanada on
- 6:35the Boxing Before Dark episode. Like, every time
- 6:39it comes up, I always get fucking tilted. Every
- 6:42single time. Yeah, it's some bullshit. Why the
- 6:45fuck are you going to take a knee in the middle
- 6:46of a fight? Yeah. You know? Fucking Roach did
- 6:49that. God forbid, you know? But, yeah. I'm going
- 6:52to start. Oh, yeah. We'll rule the knockout.
- 6:55Fucking. By over... Fuck, dude. I'll tell you.
- 7:01I'm going to get mad right now. I can't get mad.
- 7:03I can't get mad. We're not talking about tanking
- 7:06today. We're not talking about tanking right
- 7:07now. Not right now. Moving up the bill, Pat Brown.
- 7:11He's a British Olympian. TKO2 over Austin Nnamdi.
- 7:16It was a pretty weird stoppage. Pat Brown tagged
- 7:22him, and it was clean, and his legs wobbled.
- 7:26He was on skates. But he backed up into the ropes,
- 7:31and he looked like he had his wits about him.
- 7:34So it's, I don't know, kind of questionable,
- 7:38I guess, when you're the ref making a split -second
- 7:40decision. See, that's understandable. The thing,
- 7:46we were talking about this before the pod, too.
- 7:48Pat Brown, he's not a... He's kind of building
- 7:52himself up. Yeah, he's got a tear. And honestly,
- 7:54he's kind of looking good. I'm not going to lie.
- 7:56For how he started, where he's at, he was in
- 8:01the Olympics. He looks pretty good. I wouldn't
- 8:04say he passed the eye test so far, but he's been
- 8:07active. And at the very least, he seems like
- 8:10a fighter that will be good on undercards for
- 8:15the next couple of years. Yeah, he's doing the
- 8:18thing like... moses atama just staying active
- 8:22and you may not look the best but you're still
- 8:25in like the infancy of your career so exactly
- 8:28yeah you're gonna have some spots that need improving
- 8:30especially as you're transitioning from the amateur
- 8:33style to the pros which it's gotten better it's
- 8:37been the transition has become easier since they've
- 8:40adapted the amateur style the amateur rule set
- 8:43to more replicate the pros but still Back in
- 8:50the day, you'd see fucking Olympic fighters fail
- 8:53in the pros all the time. I mean, you still see
- 8:55it, but it was a lot more prevalent back in the
- 8:57day. Yeah, definitely. What was it? 1984 Olympics,
- 9:01right? That was the team, right? The 1984 Olympics.
- 9:05Oh, the dream team? The dream team. The majority
- 9:09of them, they didn't really make it in the pros.
- 9:13Half of them didn't make it in the pros. Not
- 9:15the majority, but half of them. Mark Breland
- 9:18was... Famous case, you know. I'll tell you.
- 9:23Nowadays, like Lomachenko, you have Lomachenko
- 9:25coming out. Fucking Anthony Joshua. Omari Jones
- 9:30seems to be doing pretty good for himself. Yeah,
- 9:32he's still starting off too, right? Yeah, Omari
- 9:36Jones. And he looks pretty solid, you know. Marco
- 9:39Verde as well. A lot of fighters coming out of
- 9:42the Olympics that are looking good so far. You
- 9:46know, Ken Jenkins, you know. How would you say
- 9:51Joe Joyce did? Joe Joyce did? Well, to be honest,
- 9:55he didn't have a bad career. He fought everybody,
- 9:57you know? Yeah. Joe Joyce has fought a lot of
- 9:59guys, you know? Yeah, I was thinking he had a
- 10:02good run. Yeah, Joe Joyce had a good run. I mean,
- 10:06yeah, you see what you will about his career.
- 10:09But the man knocked out Danny Dubois, you know?
- 10:11Danny Dubois was a champion, so. I mean. And
- 10:14Dubois went on to some pretty good heights. Exactly,
- 10:17yes. I mean, it really depends on how you'd rate
- 10:19a fighter yourself. I mean, I would rate Joe
- 10:21Joyce, you know, in like a B -tier type of fighter,
- 10:25you know, when in his heyday. Right now, I don't
- 10:29know. He's like Dylan White level, but... When
- 10:34in his heyday, he was pretty all right. He was
- 10:36all right. Let's move up here. Tyrone McKenna
- 10:41stops Dylan Moran in the seventh. This is one
- 10:45that I wanted to point out specifically. It's
- 10:48Agiarko gets the split decision over Ishmael
- 10:53Davis. This motherfucker's name is spelled C
- 10:57-A -O -I -M -H -I -N and it's Keevan. Keevan,
- 11:02really? Out of my fucking mind. I cannot wrap
- 11:06my head around that. The Irish do some weird
- 11:09shit. Even Michael Key? Yep. Sorry, I had to
- 11:14throw that in there. What is that? I'm not too
- 11:17familiar with this game. What is he, like a...
- 11:19I know Ishmael Davis is a 154 -pounder, right?
- 11:22Yeah, it was a 154 -pound fight. It was a good
- 11:25scrap. It was just... I felt he was getting a
- 11:30lot of the cleaner work done. But there was a
- 11:35lot of smothering happening. And I think Davis
- 11:38was the worst for wear for it. Makes sense. I
- 11:42mean, that guy, same thing with Ishmael Davis.
- 11:44He's kind of more of like a Giovanni Cabrera
- 11:47type of fighter. Kind of like a step -up fighter,
- 11:49you know? Yeah. Guys kind of come up, we'll fight
- 11:51them. You know? They could do a rematch. It wouldn't
- 11:56be terrible. Yeah, I mean, would I want to see
- 12:01a rematch? I don't know. But, I mean, there's
- 12:05nothing going on. Fuck it, I'll watch it. Not
- 12:10a lot about that, but I'm soon. Got to wait a
- 12:12couple weeks. Liz Crocker. Split decision question
- 12:16mark is how I have it written down. Over Patty
- 12:19Donovan. IBF welterweight title was on the line.
- 12:24Yeah, it was. Not like the first at all. No.
- 12:29In the first one, Donovan was in trouble. If
- 12:33I'm remembering it correctly, it was Donovan
- 12:35that was in trouble. Pretty much the entire time.
- 12:41You remember correctly, yeah. He was on skates
- 12:43for a good amount of the fight. Yeah, and then
- 12:46Crocker got that unfortunate DQ. This time, it
- 12:52seems like Paddy Donovan made... I think he made
- 12:54a lot of the right adjustments. He boxed this
- 12:57beautifully. I still have the replay running
- 13:00right next to me. And he's boxing really smart.
- 13:04He's fighting behind his jab. I'm not sure how
- 13:09he lost. I don't see how he lost. Even a split
- 13:12decision, you could say, sure, it's close. The
- 13:15judges had it close. But I don't see it having
- 13:17been close enough to warrant that. Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:22I mean, I agree with you 100%. I mean, he looked
- 13:24pretty solid for the type of fighter he is, you
- 13:26know? Was it a good fight? It was all right.
- 13:30It was all right. Yeah, but I mean, I can't explain
- 13:34why the judges did it. I always like to throw
- 13:37around the word robbery. You know, like... At
- 13:40some point, it is kind of like a landerized word
- 13:42I've been using a lot on here, but... I wouldn't
- 13:45necessarily call it a robbery, but... No. It's
- 13:49just a little... It's a little pitchy. I'm not
- 13:51gonna lie. I need some explanation. I think that's
- 13:54a good way to put it. I try to reserve use of
- 13:57the word, like, robbery and super fight, that
- 14:01type of shit, just so that when we do use it,
- 14:04it has a lot more... Gravity. Per se, yeah. It's
- 14:08like when you swear. Yeah, we do it a lot. Like
- 14:10when you swear, you know? Yeah. Yeah, well. Lewis
- 14:15Crocker gets the dub. I hope they do it again.
- 14:19I think Patti Donovan deserves it. But we'll
- 14:23see what Lewis Crocker wants to do. Well, Lewis
- 14:26Crocker's with Mashroom, right? I believe he
- 14:28is the Mashroom fighter. Are they both in Mashroom?
- 14:31I'm pretty sure Crocker is. Not sure about Patty
- 14:35Donovan. Yeah, so that is gonna... That's gonna
- 14:40stay there for a while, I'm not gonna lie. Because
- 14:43at Welterweight, they have what? Arios, Roley,
- 14:46Bryan, and Crocker. One of these is not... Crocker.
- 14:54Yeah. That's Barrios because he got beat by an
- 14:57old man Pacquiao. You would rate... You know,
- 15:02I honestly think I would rate Crocker over Barrios.
- 15:05100 % I would rate Crocker over Barrios. For
- 15:08Barrios to lose like... Well, he didn't lose,
- 15:10but to me he lost. In my eyes and the eyes of
- 15:13a lot of fans. He lost to Manny Pacquiao. Alright,
- 15:17so... I think Crocker with the way he fought
- 15:20in that fight, I think he... I think he would.
- 15:23I think it would be Barrios, in my opinion. In
- 15:26my humble opinion. Breaking news. WBC world title
- 15:31is vacant on BoxRec. What? Or which division?
- 15:37What are you talking about? WBC welterweight
- 15:39title. Well, what? Is vacant on BoxRec. Wait,
- 15:43wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Is Mario Barrios
- 15:45vacant? I don't know. Just now. I don't know.
- 15:50Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? What
- 15:52the hell? What the fuck? I'm checking the WBC
- 15:55site because that is... There's no way that Mario
- 15:59Party vacated that fucking title in the middle
- 16:01of this damn podcast. We're literally the TMZ
- 16:04of fucking Mario Party. He's still the champion.
- 16:06He's still listed as the champ. Oh, so then why
- 16:09is it vacated, though? Why is it vacated? Why
- 16:11does BoxRec have it vacated? I don't know. Well,
- 16:15it's not like people cared when Virgil... Remember
- 16:19the thing with Virgil? box trick with it no i
- 16:24don't i think i think virgil had um they overturned
- 16:29that fight with um with boachuk and the fans
- 16:32went crazy and nobody's looking at mario body's
- 16:35box trick like fucking every day like unlike
- 16:38virgil you know i just pulled it up because i
- 16:40wanted to see who the title holders were um it's
- 16:46like we have Like, it still has Jaron Ennis as
- 16:50number one in the division. Oh, in the motorway?
- 16:54That's weird. Yeah. Yeah, that's weird. He's
- 16:57not even there anymore. The IBO title is Tulani
- 17:02Mbengue. Oh, boy. I can't wait for... The unification.
- 17:09The big unification with Brian Norman. Oh, yeah?
- 17:14IBO, WBO? All those? Man, I feel bad for Patty
- 17:25Donovan. He didn't fight like a... The Irish
- 17:30come to rumble. They come to rumble like Mexicans
- 17:33do. And he fought really smart. And I feel bad.
- 17:38I really want him to get another shot. One day,
- 17:42if he fights smart... Again, the division right
- 17:45now is really light. I mean, they have Roley
- 17:48and Barrios as two of the champions, two of the
- 17:51four champions. I mean, honestly, again, I keep
- 17:54blazing him, but Brian Norman Jr. is the best.
- 17:56He is. Currently the best welterweight in that
- 17:58division, but at the same time, it's like, well,
- 18:00after Spence and Crawford and all the PBC guys
- 18:04kind of retired, the division has kind of turned
- 18:08into middleweight in a sense, you know? I mean,
- 18:12the thing is that the most popular guys in that
- 18:15division are not even champions. It's Ryan Garcia.
- 18:19It is Devin Haney. And soon, it's going to be
- 18:24Tiofimo Lopez, hopefully. You know, move up.
- 18:28Hopefully. Yeah. But those guys are not even
- 18:32champions. I feel like, in my opinion, I feel
- 18:34like we're going to try to make... We can talk
- 18:37about this another day, but... I saw something
- 18:40the other day, a little news article saying that
- 18:45Dave Benavidez and Devin Haney were planning
- 18:47a doubleheader in Riyadh in February. Really?
- 18:52You didn't see that? No. Yeah, they're planning
- 18:55a doubleheader with fucking Devin Haney and David
- 18:58Benavidez in Riyadh in February, which is kind
- 19:01of bullshit because Devin Haney hasn't even fought
- 19:03yet. He hasn't even beaten Brian Norman Jr. Why
- 19:06are they planning him as a co -main already?
- 19:09If you're going to give some of the co -main,
- 19:11shouldn't you give it to the champion? The reigning
- 19:14champ? Yeah, if you're going to look ahead of
- 19:17it, then you should give it to the champ, not
- 19:20to a challenger. Not to a challenger without
- 19:23a title who has a loss. And who isn't all that
- 19:26popular either. It's not like he's famous or
- 19:30anything. He gets priority because he's a bigger
- 19:34money name. Well, he has a bigger money name
- 19:38than I would say Brian Norman Jr., but at the
- 19:39same time, it's like, well, why are you putting
- 19:42him there instead of Brian Norman Jr., who is
- 19:44the champion, who is a more exciting fighter
- 19:47at the end of the day? To me, it looks like they're
- 19:51planning some bullshit. I can already see them
- 19:53a mile away. They're planning some bullshit with
- 19:55that fucking fight. Oh, they're going to drop
- 19:57Norman. I feel like they might just drop Norman.
- 20:00If it goes this way, they might just drop Norman.
- 20:02And, again, maybe he could outbox him. I'm not
- 20:04saying he's not going to outbox him. It's a possibility.
- 20:06But the fact they're already planning that shit
- 20:09shows me they're planning to job him. And, I
- 20:12mean, people that watch this podcast, they can
- 20:14say all they want about my fucking takes. But
- 20:17the one thing I stand by, I think a lot of people
- 20:20will agree, is that a lot of the time I'm not
- 20:24wrong when it comes to fighters getting jobs.
- 20:26Okay? There's one thing I'm alright with predicting.
- 20:31It's fighters getting jobbed. I knew Adama was
- 20:34going to get jobbed. I knew Roach was going to
- 20:35get jobbed. I know. I just have a thing. I don't
- 20:39know why. You guys remember how I tried to talk
- 20:42about how Crawford was about to get jobbed. He
- 20:45almost got jobbed that fight. What was it? 115
- 20:47-113? Bullshit. Yeah, I don't know about all
- 20:50that. 115 -113 business. Yeah, that's a bull
- 20:54jive, right? They were going to drop Crawford.
- 20:58But they couldn't. You know? Either way, I'm
- 21:01pretty good with this job and shit. You know?
- 21:05Mario Barrio's mini Pacquiao. I knew that shit
- 21:07was going to happen too. You know? It just...
- 21:11I know. He's got that fucking six million they're
- 21:14going to job. Brian Norman Jr. Which hurts me
- 21:18because that's... He's a lot... I would much
- 21:20rather watch a Brian Norman Jr. fight than a
- 21:22Devin Haney fight. And that's my two -piece.
- 21:26Yeah, that's my two -piece biscuit. Yeah, let's
- 21:31keep it rolling. Into Sunday, September 14th,
- 21:36Ohashi promotions at the IG Arena in Nagoya.
- 21:41Two things from this one. What the hell was that?
- 21:49What was that? That was weird. Christian Medina
- 21:57stops Yoshiki Takei in four to claim the WBO
- 22:02bantamweight title. Beatdown. Interesting beatdown
- 22:07with that. Takei was on his bike, like, from
- 22:10the beginning. He felt that fucking Mexican power.
- 22:15Yeah, I mean... He wasn't having it. That rivalry
- 22:19between the Mexican and the Japanese are on the
- 22:22rise soon. It's coming up. It is. We'll talk
- 22:27about it another day, but I mean, Picasso and
- 22:30Inouye, most likely a possibility for December.
- 22:35Oh, that's pretty sure it is. Yeah, I was about
- 22:38to say, I'm pretty sure it is. But that rivalry
- 22:42between Mexicans and Japanese, it's getting heated,
- 22:46Makai. Naoya Inouye, speaking of. UD over Murojan
- 22:53Akhmadaliev. From what I remember, just the sound,
- 23:00boxing, Murojan did not have a lot of answers
- 23:04and did not pose a whole lot of questions that
- 23:10Naoya Inoue couldn't answer. So, I don't know.
- 23:14Not much more to it, I think. Well, something
- 23:18you can't say, it was not a fucking top rank.
- 23:20It was not a fucking... Broadcasted live. That
- 23:25was on Facebook. What the hell was that about?
- 23:28Out of all the places they could have posted
- 23:30that, got in Facebook. That is fucking weird.
- 23:34You know? When was the last time a big fight
- 23:37like that was posted on Facebook? If ever. You
- 23:40know? The last thing that I remember ever being
- 23:43hosted on Facebook was Golden Boy Fight Nights.
- 23:48Like their smaller prospect cards. That's pretty
- 23:52much it. And that was, I don't even know how
- 23:55long ago. Ages, before COVID. Before COVID, yeah.
- 24:02Fucking crazy, you know? They say that, how many
- 24:05people, like 40 million, not 40 million, that's
- 24:07crazy. Like 2 million people were watching. Were
- 24:12there? Well, they said like an absurd amount
- 24:15of people were watching the fight. I was like,
- 24:16I don't even think there's that many people still
- 24:18using Facebook. So we know for, in a way, we
- 24:28know that Picasso is next. That's December 26th
- 24:33or 27th. I don't remember which. 27th. What's
- 24:41next for MJ? MJ shoots. I don't know, but for
- 24:49how many years have they been calling for this
- 24:50fight, the MJ fight? At least two. How many years?
- 24:54At least two, and it ended up happening like
- 24:56that. Yeah. You could have done better, dude.
- 25:00Could have done anything to make that, make yourself
- 25:04worthy of that slot. Yeah. But he was just, that
- 25:09was a bull, Jevin Makalai. Yeah, rematched Topalos.
- 25:14I really thought that MJ was going to do better.
- 25:17I did too. But at least a better fight, you know.
- 25:21Even if he got knocked out, you know, even just.
- 25:23Could have put him in a better fight. But he
- 25:25didn't. Yeah. I mean, he didn't get knocked out.
- 25:32No, he didn't. But I was one of the people that
- 25:35was saying that even though MJ lost to Topalas,
- 25:39that it's still a good fight. MJ versus Inouye
- 25:43is still a good fight. And I was expecting better.
- 25:48Not sure how else to put it, but just better.
- 25:51Yeah, just... any way is better. I mean, again,
- 25:54Silver Lion being he didn't get knocked out,
- 25:56but does that even matter? You know? Yeah. I
- 26:03mean, I remember the Raymond Cardenas fight a
- 26:07lot more than that fucking MJ fight. Seriously.
- 26:11Seriously. Yeah. Granted, at the same time, I
- 26:16was still hyped high off the Crawford win, so
- 26:20there's that too. But still, I digress. Let's
- 26:28roll on. Fucking... This one, I'm going to skip
- 26:33over. It's the No Limit fight in Queensland,
- 26:37Australia, in Tennyson. Liam Parrow gets a UD
- 26:42over David Papo. I'm going to skip this one because
- 26:46on Boxing Before Dark, had a good conversation.
- 26:51With Jacob. He was there. And he rewatched it.
- 26:56And he gave a really good breakdown. And I will
- 26:59not do it justice. And I believe. By the time
- 27:05you're hearing this. That episode is already
- 27:07out. Saturday. September 20th. It's our last.
- 27:19Last things. I crashed out talking to Shenada
- 27:26about this one, so I'm going to try to keep my
- 27:28composure a little better here. Mickey Scala
- 27:32is a local prospect. His gym is actually not
- 27:36too far from where I live, and he got stopped
- 27:41in two by Jose Perdomo. Kind of an interesting
- 27:48outcome, you know? disappointing yeah it's funny
- 27:54but interesting to say at least that was i don't
- 27:57know they even hyping that guy up for some time
- 28:00you know yeah he's been one of their poster childs
- 28:03for a minute and this was supposed to be another
- 28:05showcase for him and he gets tagged once and
- 28:10then he just completely loses his mind and goes
- 28:13shells up and then just gets battered until it's
- 28:16stopped You'll probably get a rematch. Oh, yeah.
- 28:21They were immediately calling for the rematch.
- 28:23No doubt about it. I mean, a lot of those fights,
- 28:28I'm pretty sure, do have rematch clause, right?
- 28:29If they lose, you know? Oh, yeah. For the A -siders,
- 28:33I'm sure they get. They have the luxury. We over
- 28:39here on the B -side don't get that same courtesy
- 28:45extended. Never do. Moving on. Golden Boy at
- 28:54the Fantasy Springs Casino. Two fights on here
- 28:59I wanted to point out. Gabriela Fundora. Whoops.
- 29:03Alexis Kubicki. Just belt to ass. Bad, bad, bad.
- 29:10Beats her ass. Love Gabby. We love Gabby here.
- 29:13Big time Gabby gamers. She's looking to be greater
- 29:19than, in my opinion, she's looking to be greater
- 29:21than Clarissa. Give it a good couple years, five
- 29:24years, I think she'll pass Clarissa. She's going
- 29:30to have to do undisputed in a few divisions as
- 29:33well, if she wants to get herself into the conversation,
- 29:36I think. I think she can do it. She's skilled
- 29:39enough, I think. She is skilled enough, and she's
- 29:44tall, so... Well, no shit. But... I understand.
- 29:50She's got the frame to be able to move up. She's
- 29:55her brother. She's the version of her brother
- 29:57in that division, you know? Yeah, definitely.
- 29:59Paul and Linky. Most CMO fighters over there
- 30:03are like, what, 5 '3", 5 '4"? Something like
- 30:06that. Probably smaller. Yeah. Crazy. Main event.
- 30:18Oscar Collazo gets the corner. The corner pulls
- 30:23the plug on Jason Vason. I don't care what the
- 30:28broadcast team was saying. I'm saying Jason Vason.
- 30:34Jason the Jason. So there were some interesting.
- 30:41Something interesting about the stoppage was
- 30:43that the head coach did not pull the plug. It
- 30:46was the chief second. And the head coach was
- 30:51not pleased with the stoppage. Jason was not
- 30:55pleased with the stoppage. What else? Jason had
- 31:02fought as high as 115. He spent most of his career
- 31:07between 108 and 112. And so he's cut some...
- 31:13There was some, I don't know, rumor mill that
- 31:16he had a bad cut getting back down to 105. I
- 31:22don't know. I haven't heard about that. I haven't
- 31:24heard about that at all. Yeah, it's probably
- 31:27just rumor mill bullshit, but... I believe the
- 31:32115, but I don't know about the other stuff.
- 31:36Koyasu looked good. Yeah, bottom line, he looked
- 31:40solid. Yeah, he looked good. He had good angles.
- 31:43He looked like his usual self. He was in pretty
- 31:46good control. He was getting hit a little bit
- 31:49more than usual. I guess excluding that time
- 31:54he got knocked down, but other than that, he
- 31:58was getting hit a little bit more than usual.
- 32:01He took it well, but... I mean, Osprey was probably
- 32:06the most well -known guy in... That division,
- 32:08you know? By far. By far, yeah. But, I mean,
- 32:14I don't know. What do you think? Do you think
- 32:17Oscar Collazo is a bigger draw, being from the
- 32:19small division, or Gabby Fandora? Ooh. I would
- 32:27say Gabby, because she's got the Fandora name.
- 32:31I tend to agree with that statement. Yep. Anything
- 32:41more for Oscar or Gabby? Nope, they both did
- 32:45great. I expected them to do what they did. You
- 32:48know? Yeah. They handled business. Handled business
- 32:53well. All right. Let me put some notes in here.

- 36:24do not have... A whole lot coming up this week.
- 36:30But we do have a lot of news that has come about.
- 36:36Ricky Hatton passed away. I know it's been a
- 36:39minute already. Nonetheless, he deserves his
- 36:44few minutes in the spotlight. Rest in peace to
- 36:50Ricky. Hell of a fighter. There was... An interesting
- 36:55question that Shanada and I kind of pored over
- 37:00was that Joe Calzaghe was voted as the best British
- 37:09boxer just of all time. Of all time, yeah. And
- 37:14I was arguing that Ricky Hatton was deserving
- 37:17of being in that conversation just because he
- 37:21was such a huge name. Everybody loved Ricky Hatton.
- 37:27I mean, he was probably the most well -known
- 37:31British fighter. I would say probably post -Eubank,
- 37:36pre -Joshua, you know? Yeah. For those couple
- 37:41of years in between, you know? Besides Lennox
- 37:47Lunas as well. But he doesn't count. No, I don't
- 37:51count Lennox Lunas as British. Yeah, yeah. He's
- 37:54not really British. But either way, post -Eubank,
- 37:59pre -Joshua, he was carrying the Brits. He was
- 38:03carrying the Brits. Like, Kawasaki got the wins.
- 38:09And, like, Ricky had his biggest fights. He lost.
- 38:14He was a hell of a fighter. Yeah, still a hell
- 38:17of a fighter. Hell of a fighter, you know? That's
- 38:19the thing. Like, Roberto Duran, right? His biggest
- 38:24fights, he lost to Thomas Hearns. He lost to
- 38:28Marvin Hagler. He lost to Sugar Leonard. But
- 38:32he's still considered one of the greatest of
- 38:33all time. For multiple reasons, but one of them
- 38:36being he always put up a great fight. You know?
- 38:39People love watching the guy. Same thing with
- 38:41Ricky Hatton. He was a hell of a fighter. Absolutely.
- 38:45He's not the typical great fighter. He was something
- 38:48else. You know? He went toe -to -toe with Prime
- 38:53Pacquiao. You gotta be some kind of lunatic.
- 38:58Yeah. Special kind of fucking crazy. With Prime
- 39:02Pacquiao, too. Yeah. You gotta respect his balls.
- 39:07Yeah. He had it. Yeah, he had a whole lot more
- 39:12than most other people. You know? And I say farewell
- 39:18to him. Yeah, farewell to Ricky Hatton. Peace,
- 39:29Ricky. Blessings up to his family, Campbell.
- 39:35All right. Moses Itauma rejects an IBF eliminator
- 39:44that would have put him into mandatory for Usyk.
- 39:50The IBF eliminator being Frank Sanchez, correct?
- 39:54I believe so. Yeah. I mean, I know I've been
- 39:58out here calling out for that Usyk fight, but
- 40:00honestly, this was the smartest decision he could
- 40:02make. That's rushing it way too fast. You know?
- 40:07Unless he's just going to fight Usyk right now,
- 40:08whether he's going to do some bullshit, I don't
- 40:10know. But either way, if he's not fighting Usyk,
- 40:12he's not fighting the IBF mandatory, then it's
- 40:14very smart. Get that experience in. Try to go,
- 40:19not try to go to the distance, but try to get
- 40:21some rounds in. before you get to even that mandatory
- 40:24level, you know? Before he hit the Adria Caballos,
- 40:28before he hit the Frank Sanchez, you know? Before
- 40:31he hit the Parkers. Those guys have been fighting
- 40:33since he was like 10 years old. You know? He's
- 40:38got to get some years in. Yeah, they've been
- 40:41on the world stage since he was like 10 years
- 40:44old. Exactly. I mean, when did Joe Parker become
- 40:48champ first? That was like around, what, 2016?
- 40:522015? Yeah, around that time. Because that unification
- 40:56with Joshua was like 2017, 2018, right? Yes.
- 41:00Yeah. I mean, yeah, that was 10 years ago, man.
- 41:04That was 10 years ago. So you got to get some
- 41:07rounds in before you fight these veterans, you
- 41:09know? Of course, if you're different, you could
- 41:11just fight them to win. You know, if you're that
- 41:14guy. But we've... You got to play it safe. Build
- 41:20your way up. Fight a Vianello. Maybe even fight
- 41:22a Torres. He's doing good, but you can't rush
- 41:26greatness. I don't think that it's that Itama's
- 41:30not great or doesn't have the potential to be
- 41:32great. It's just that Usyk is a different fucking
- 41:35animal. And I don't think there's nothing that
- 41:39Itama has done to this point that would make
- 41:42me think he could even win a six -rounder. With
- 41:47Usyk. Oh, yeah. I think, again, like I said,
- 41:52if there's a guy that can beat Usyk, it's probably
- 41:54Mo Zatama. I think. My opinion. Power? But...
- 41:59Power? Are you saying with power? Yeah, with
- 42:05his power. Is that what it is? Well, yeah, with
- 42:07his power and his timing. You know, he seems
- 42:09to have pretty slick timing. Pretty good accuracy
- 42:12as well. He lands on Usyk. You never know. You
- 42:16know, again, his power is untested at this level.
- 42:20Yeah, he fought Dillian White, but it's Dillian
- 42:22White. He's that man's been knocked out multiple
- 42:24times. We got to see him knock out someone who
- 42:26hasn't been knocked out before. That's known
- 42:27to really know what kind of guy he is, you know.
- 42:30If he goes the distance with someone like Joseph
- 42:32Parker, let's say he fights Daniel Dubois. Daniel
- 42:35Dubois or Filip Hergovich. If he fights either
- 42:38one of those and doesn't knock him out, then
- 42:39you can kind of piece together where his power
- 42:42lies, you know. He still could be a stillful
- 42:45fighter, but that power is a great equalizer
- 42:47with Usyk. You know? Because otherwise, you're
- 42:50not beating Usyk. Usyk is the man at that division.
- 42:54You know what I mean? Yeah, absolutely. But yeah,
- 42:58I think it's smart of him to maybe just take
- 43:01it a little slower. You know? Let it develop.
- 43:04Don't rush it. Speaking of Usyk, who could be
- 43:12next for him? The posts that I found had Joseph
- 43:16Parker, Fabio Wardley, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua,
- 43:21Jake Paul. Well, Jake Paul's already fucking
- 43:26busy with a fucking tank. You can call that busy.
- 43:31Yeah. Even. I mean, best guy that... that deserves
- 43:39a shot, in my opinion, is Joseph Parker. Joe
- 43:41Parker absolutely deserved that shot with Usyk.
- 43:44I mean, Ajay Kabayel, yeah, he's pretty good,
- 43:48but I think that Joe Parker... Joe Parker's done
- 43:52more. Yeah, Joe Parker's done more. I mean, what?
- 43:57Ajay Kabayel, he just fought Big Bang Jang, right?
- 44:00That was... How many fights did it go for Joe
- 44:02Parker? That was the fight before his last? I
- 44:06think so. That was the fight before his last.
- 44:09I think he deserves it more. At the same time,
- 44:14I don't really consider Joe Parker the greatest
- 44:17heavyweight, but I can't help to like the guy.
- 44:20I can't help to not want to support him, not
- 44:24want to root for him. He seems to be a cool guy.
- 44:31Granted, will he win? I don't know. Probably
- 44:33not. That's yet to be seen. It's a different
- 44:37style than what Usyk has had to face. Yeah. Yeah,
- 44:44you're right. That's what I like about the matchup.
- 44:47Because with Fabio Wardley, it's just another
- 44:49big dude with big hands, right? Yeah. Just got
- 44:53to watch out and you'll survive. Joe Parker,
- 44:56he's a little interesting, you know? Granted,
- 44:59Usyk is the master adjuster. So, like I said,
- 45:02I can't really expect much. to be different.
- 45:12Speaking of AJ, well, we weren't really talking
- 45:16about him, but who's next for AJ? Throw his ass
- 45:19in there. Throw his fucking ass in there. Who's
- 45:22next for AJ? He's got to make a comeback eventually.
- 45:25Well, in my opinion, not someone with power because
- 45:28he got knocked out his last fight. He didn't
- 45:30even come back this year. You know? Which is
- 45:33kind of... A little worrying. You know, he should
- 45:37have maybe had a tune -up fight sometime this
- 45:39year. You know? When did he have his surgery,
- 45:43by the way? Let me ask that. When did he have
- 45:44his surgery? I think it was in May or June. May
- 45:49or June? Yeah. So he's coming out about that
- 45:53time. Yeah, he's coming back right now. So, get
- 45:57some training in. I would say probably fight
- 46:00someone in the top 10. You know? Maybe if I bring
- 46:04Sanchez. The post that I found that made me think
- 46:09of this question was Jake Paul, Tony Yoka, or
- 46:13Martin Bacoli. I don't know. That's kind of...
- 46:19What do you think? You tell me first and I'll
- 46:22tell you my idea. I think he should stay the
- 46:25hell away from Martin Bacoli. Jake Paul, I guess
- 46:30if you want to make some good money, sure. But
- 46:34Tony Yoka, that's the fight to make. The two
- 46:37gold medalists in the back -to -back Olympics,
- 46:41Tony Yoka's kind of washed out, but still, he's
- 46:48at the level AJ needs to rebuild his confidence,
- 46:52plus coming off a surgery. This is exactly where
- 46:56he needs to be, is Tony Yoka. I mean, I disagree
- 47:04with those takes. Obviously, he should get a
- 47:08tune -up, but I think it should be someone that
- 47:11is relatively harmless. You know? Just to get
- 47:15his confidence up. Because the way he got knocked
- 47:17out last time was bad. Really bad. Yeah. You
- 47:20know? Tony Yoka, yeah, he's older. But you never
- 47:27know, man. Tony Yoka, he can... I'm not gonna
- 47:30lie. That man has some hidden magic, dude. I'm
- 47:32not gonna lie. He can pull some shit out of his
- 47:34ass. Martin Bercouli, too. Martin Bercouli. I
- 47:37would not want to put anybody with fucking Martin
- 47:40Bercouli right now. Like fucking Anthony Joshua
- 47:42with a chin. You know, anybody with a chin should
- 47:45not be with Martin Bercouli. Maybe. I know this
- 47:49might sound crazy. You can make fun of me. Jared
- 47:52Anderson. I think Jared Anderson would be good.
- 47:55That's not bad. Jared Anderson would be, I think,
- 48:00a pretty solid fight. Or AJ. Big Baby as well.
- 48:05Big Baby Miller. Not bad of a fight. Not bad.
- 48:10Now, if you really want to get fucking testy,
- 48:13if you want to be funny as hell, you can do an
- 48:15AJ trilogy. Or an AJ -Andy Ruiz trilogy. Who's
- 48:19that? Yeah, not bad. I think the better question
- 48:25is, what should be the next fight after AJ's
- 48:27next, if he wins? So he wins is like a soft touch.
- 48:32And then what does he do after that? I'm still
- 48:38going to say Tony Yoka just because that's a
- 48:39big fight between England and France. So that
- 48:46should be fun. You want to say AJ Fury? Oh, shit.
- 48:51I completely forgot about Tyson Fury. AJ Wilder.
- 48:55I mean, yeah, say what you want, but AJ Fury
- 48:57is still a huge fight. Not so much AJ Wilder.
- 49:00Yeah, those are both still huge. I don't know
- 49:03about Wilder's too much right now, but AJ Fury
- 49:06is the fight to make, I think, at heavyweight.
- 49:08The next big money fight at heavyweight. Or you
- 49:13could do a Dubois rematch with AJ. Now, is that
- 49:17smart? I don't know. Dubois beat the fuck out
- 49:21of AJ. Yeah, he beat his ass. I felt secondhand
- 49:27embarrassment for AJ. Yeah, that was rough. That
- 49:31was really rough. Now I can say, speaking of
- 49:38AJ, do you think he makes the Hall of Fame? Oh,
- 49:41we were talking about this earlier today. Yeah.
- 49:43I think he'll probably make the Hall of Fame
- 49:46in like 20, 30 years. He's fought a lot of guys.
- 49:50A lot of British guys. Now, were they good? Not
- 49:55really, but I still think that He fought a lot
- 50:00of competition. He fought Usyk. If he fights
- 50:02Fury, depending on who wins, you know? Because
- 50:06I think Usyk's going to make it in the Hall of
- 50:08Fame. Fury will make it in the Hall of Fame,
- 50:10for sure. Those two, for sure, are going to make
- 50:12it in the Hall of Fame. AJ, give it about 20
- 50:19years. Oh, he's not going to be first ballot.
- 50:24Oh, no. No, not at all. The first one, the first
- 50:26ballot's going to be Usyk, then Fury. Then AJ.
- 50:30Wilder, he's not going to be in the Hall of Fame.
- 50:32Best fight with him is Luis Ortiz, but that's
- 50:35Luis Ortiz. He's good still, but it's not Hall
- 50:38of Fame worthy. Yeah, it's not great. It's like
- 50:41if Crawford knocking out Gamboa, would that really
- 50:47be his Hall of Fame pick? Would that put him
- 50:50in the Hall of Fame? No. You know what I mean?
- 50:53It's a good stoppage. A stoppage, yeah. But is
- 50:56that... Not Hall of Fame worthy. No, definitely
- 50:58not. Exactly, no. Canelo is going to put him
- 51:01in the Hall of Fame. He already is one of the
- 51:05greatest fighters of all time right now. So,
- 51:06Crawford, I don't got to question that. Usyk
- 51:09beating AJ, Usyk beating Fury, Usyk beating Chisora,
- 51:13all the guys at heavyweight puts him in the Hall
- 51:17of Fame 100%. We'll see what happens with AJ.
- 51:24Yeah, but I mean, that's fucking Wilder, though.
- 51:26Did he deserve a shot with Usyk? I don't think
- 51:28so. Tyson Fury pieced him up enough. Yeah. You
- 51:32kind of knocked him out of the running. Yeah.
- 51:35I think Fury belongs in the Hall of Fame just
- 51:38for his fights with Wilder. That's probably the
- 51:40last great heavyweight trilogy that we've had.
- 51:45That is the last great heavyweight trilogy. I
- 51:49don't know if you've ever rewatched those fights,
- 51:53but it reminds me of... The fight you see in
- 51:55the 90s, dude. I remember we watched Razor Ruddick
- 51:59fucking... Yeah. That third fight, in my opinion,
- 52:01was probably the best one. That reminded me of
- 52:02Ruddick and Morrison. I really liked the first
- 52:06one. The one that... It just had a lot more back
- 52:08and forth. Yeah. First and third were the best.
- 52:11Yes. Second was a little more... Oh, that was
- 52:13trash. Yeah. It was just a nasty thing. Yeah.
- 52:18First and third were legendary. I hate to make
- 52:23a comparison. I know this might sound fucked
- 52:25up. You can make fun of me, but that trilogy
- 52:28just oozes, oozes Gorilla Manila type shit. You
- 52:34know? Interesting. I know you, I'm going to get
- 52:39so much fucking hate for this shit. I'm going
- 52:41to get hate for this shit. You can make fun of
- 52:44me. No, I don't think it's unrealistic to call
- 52:46it like the modern equivalent. Yeah. The modern
- 52:50version of that. Because you got a guy that's
- 52:54quick on his feet, that can box. It's like the
- 52:57dollar store thrill in a manila. Not thrill in
- 52:59a manila, but that trilogy, you know? That trilogy.
- 53:03The third one reminds me of the thrill in manila,
- 53:05considering how it ended. But, I mean, that trilogy
- 53:11is just legendary. Probably one of the best heavyweight
- 53:14trilogies of all time. Make fun of me, I don't
- 53:15give a shit. Fantastic trilogy. You know? You
- 53:20got a boxer, and you got a puncher. You know,
- 53:23first fight, I want to say ends like the first
- 53:27fight with Ali and Frazier. You know, not really
- 53:31a second fight. I don't know. I'm just saying
- 53:32it was a legendary fight, you know. That's all
- 53:34I'm really saying. Bringing it back around. Yeah.
- 53:38Will AJ make the Hall of Fame? I'm going to say
- 53:40yes. It's not going to be right away. He's going
- 53:43to need some – he needs his Hall of Fame wins,
- 53:47like you already put it. Like if he fights Tyson
- 53:50Fury and beats him. holy shit that's that's that's
- 53:54a good like a cherry on the on the sunday but
- 53:59as he is right now i don't uh it's gonna it'll
- 54:03be some time he's going to make it yes eventually
- 54:06but he's not gonna make it on strictly his fight
- 54:09resume it'll be because like he had these massive
- 54:13events like 90 000 at wembley like four fucking
- 54:17times or whatever yeah I mean, I think probably
- 54:21his Hall of Fame induction would be because of
- 54:26the Klitschko fight. Oh, right now that's his.
- 54:32But Fury did that before him. You know, Fury
- 54:36was the original. You know what I mean? Yeah,
- 54:41definitely. Besides Klitschko, though, what other
- 54:44fight would you think would be Hall of Fame worthy
- 54:47enough? for AJ right now? Yeah, besides Klitschko.
- 54:54Besides Klitschko. And not Nganou. Not Nganou.
- 55:00No. That didn't even cross my mind. I don't know.
- 55:08I don't know. I'm going to have to have a look
- 55:11at his fucking resume here. Because I don't know.
- 55:19What else he has that's really that big of a
- 55:22deal? Yeah, I mean, he lost to Usyk both times.
- 55:28Lost to Andy Ruiz. Beat him in rematch, but still
- 55:32lost. He beat Joe Parker. Albeit in a decision
- 55:38win. He beat Povetkin at Prime Steroids. Yeah.
- 55:46That's not like a marquee win, though. I don't
- 55:53see anybody on here. So are we just calling AJ
- 55:58overrated now? Is that what we're saying? AJ's
- 56:02a fucking bum. Are we just saying that now that
- 56:05he's overrated? Yeah. Yeah, he's overrated. He
- 56:11lost both of his Usyk fights. He lost to Daniel
- 56:13Dubois. Well, the loss has kind of aged okay.
- 56:19Dubois turned out to be better than I gave him
- 56:22credit for anyway. Uh -huh. Loss to Andy Ruiz.
- 56:31I'm going to say he ducked Prime Wilder. He ducked
- 56:36Wilder or Wilder ducked him? Yes. The chicken
- 56:41laid the egg or the egg laid the chicken? What
- 56:44came first? AJ ducked Wilder. That's what I'm
- 56:49going with. Okay. I'm going to side with a fucking
- 56:56Brit over red, white, and blue Deontay Wilder.
- 57:01Well, I don't know. That Wilder three -fight
- 57:06deal for DAZN was kind of bullshit. You know?
- 57:11Yeah. They could have easily made $50 million
- 57:15each. I still weep at that idea. Probably could
- 57:18have revived the heavyweight division in America
- 57:20in general. You know? I don't know. It could
- 57:24have revived boxing in America if Wilder won.
- 57:27I still think if Wilder fought AJ instead of
- 57:30Wilder fighting Fury, I think honestly Wilder
- 57:34could have won. Yeah. You know, both undefeated.
- 57:38If they were both undefeated. And, I don't know,
- 57:42I just think that Wilder probably would have
- 57:44won that fight. I think so, too. Not just my
- 57:48bias as an American, but... Well, yeah, I mean,
- 57:53you look back on it, I mean, AJ got knocked by
- 57:56Ruiz. He got knocked out by Ruiz, got knocked
- 58:00out by Dubois, knocked down by Klitschko. Usyk
- 58:05had him on skates, which... I mean, Usko's had
- 58:08Fury on skates, but that's fucking... That's
- 58:09Fury. I mean, I don't know. I think Wilder probably
- 58:14could have gotten a lucky shot and knocked out
- 58:16AJ. Never know. The world will never know, honestly,
- 58:21because we're... They're fucking never gonna
- 58:23fight. Even if they do, it's, like, ten years
- 58:27too late. Yeah. Fortunately. Man. They should...
- 58:34That's the thing about... They should just make
- 58:35the fights when... When it's possible, you know?
- 58:37And that's kind of the allure with Riyadh. I
- 58:41know we talk shit about Turkey Al -Sheikh, but
- 58:43I'm going to play devil's advocate, okay? The
- 58:45allure, the illusion that he plays is very smart.
- 58:50He's the man that's making fights happen. You
- 58:52know? That's why a lot of people have been turned
- 58:55off boxing. It's because the fights never happen.
- 58:58Exactly. AJ Wilder is a perfect example of shit
- 59:01that's going to happen. And so a lot of people...
- 59:05Well, maybe not a lot of people, but people are
- 59:09kind of saying that Turkey is the man that makes
- 59:11fights. Which, I mean, in retrospect, is true
- 59:15to an extent. You know? Again, I talk shit about
- 59:18him all the time. But, like, you could argue
- 59:21that Usyk -Fury was going to happen. You could
- 59:24argue that Better Be Vivo was going to happen.
- 59:28Those were the two fights that... And Canelo
- 59:31Crawford as well. Those street fights, people
- 59:33argued that they were going to happen without
- 59:34Saudi influence. I kind of disagree. I think
- 59:37they needed that money to be paid to take a risk.
- 59:40You know? I mean, if you're given $100 million
- 59:42to fight this motherfucker, this fucking Ukrainian
- 59:46guy, not too well -known of a Ukrainian guy,
- 59:50you're going to take it, right? Yeah, for that
- 59:52kind of money. For that kind of money, you'll
- 59:54risk your fucking, you'll risk your life for
- 59:56that. You know? So, playing devil's advocate.
- 1:00:00Fuck Turkey. But the alert that he makes fights
- 1:00:03happen is exciting to people. So there's that.
- 1:00:10There's my two -piece. Still, fuck Turkey. That
- 1:00:13alert isn't really too real because, again, like
- 1:00:16I said, those fights probably would have been
- 1:00:17made either way. But, yeah, that's my two -piece
- 1:00:23on that. I'm playing Josh today. Let's get some
- 1:00:33quick ones out of the way because we're just
- 1:00:35about out of time. The Lester Martinez and Christian
- 1:00:39Mbili rematch seems like it's going to be happening.
- 1:00:43Happening right away. Better be 12 rounds. And
- 1:00:48Tenshin Nasukawa will be fighting Takuma Inoue
- 1:00:52in November. You guys say that Tenshin Nasukawa
- 1:00:58is Japanese Lomachenko? Yeah, that's a Leo original.
- 1:01:04That's the Leo original. So I believe you guys.
- 1:01:07I'll be rooting for him. If he loses, I'm going
- 1:01:10to blame you guys. Much to the dismay of Shinada.
- 1:01:13She fucking hates him. Yeah. But she has to deal
- 1:01:18with all the fanboys over in Japan. She's got
- 1:01:24to deal with all that bull jive. Yep. That's
- 1:01:28her Canelo. She was a Crawford fan. It's California.
- 1:01:33Basically, let's say it like this. She's living
- 1:01:34in California. She's a Crawford fan. Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:39That's how I felt, honestly. All the fanboying.
- 1:01:45Yep. I was actually glad. I was going to say,
- 1:01:52I was a closet. I had to be a closeted Crawford
- 1:01:54lover with a lot of people in my life. You are
- 1:01:59vindicated. I'm vindicated, yeah. Anything more
- 1:02:05for the news that we've talked? No, we'll talk
- 1:02:08about it more next time. Interesting things we
- 1:02:10got to talk about. All right, let me do this.
- 1:02:15Pop quiz, Hotshot. What's tiny, fuzzy, and responsible
