- 0:50these days. We're also going to be talking
- 0:52about the ten key states in this election that have ballot
- 0:56initiatives that are taking place which would put into the

- 3:43so thank you so much to seven weeks.
- 3:45Let's start with the news about Bevelyn Williams.
- 3:47I want to make sure you guys are aware of this news.
- 3:50Bevelyn Williams is a 33 year old young mother of a small
- 3:53child of a toddler She has a wife, she is a Christian.
- 3:56She is very passionate about her pro-life conviction and the fact
- 3:59that babies are dying and she needs to stand up to protect
- 4:01them. In 2020 she was doing prayer and
- 4:04peaceful protest activism outside an abortion clinic and
- 4:08that is what these charges are about So she's been held up on
- 4:11face act charges. You've probably we heard of the
- 4:13face Act before, but this is being weaponized against people
- 4:16like Bevelyn who are pro-life. You can notice that the
- 4:19Department of Justice is going after pro lifers here
- 4:21specifically and trying them with these face Act charges.
- 4:25They're not as much energy as being spent on other activists
- 4:28and other causes, but the pro-life cause is getting a lot
- 4:30of attention. You can see here Bevelyn, the
- 4:33charges that are against her. They act actually refused her
- 4:36bail. So she could be out on bail
- 4:38right now. She's peaceful.
- 4:39She has no threat to anyone. She's not only been tried for
- 4:44violating the FACE Act, but they're during her trial going
- 4:46to make this mother of a toddler languish in jail.
- 4:50So as far as action items are concerned here, please pray for
- 4:53Bevelin, pray for her family, for her child, for her husband,
- 4:57for their protection. And I'm going to provide an
- 4:59opportunity for you to donate to her legal case and to help
- 5:02support her family during this time.
- 5:04She's facing a three-year prison sentence.
- 5:07And that's going to be a link in the description here both on
- 5:10podcast app and on YouTube. We'll be following Bevelins case
- 5:13as this moves forward. But I think the key here is this
- 5:16is someone who is very brave. She's been very faithful in her
- 5:20pro-life conviction. She stood up for what she's
- 5:21believed in. She's charges, I believe our
- 5:23political politically motivated against her.
- 5:25There's a picture of Beverlyn and her baby and her husband.
- 5:29She's been fighting for life for years now and I think she's been
- 5:32unjustly targeted by the Department of Justice.
- 5:34So please continue to follow with us Beverlyn's case and the
- 5:37case of the other pro-life advocates like Joan Andrews
- 5:40Bell, like Lauren Handy, who are currently sitting in federal
- 5:44prison. All right, I'm going to pull in
- 5:46next a special announcement. We've got a new organization
- 5:51that was just announced in just the last few days, and we're
- 5:55going to have a special treat because we're going to have the
- 5:57executive director of that organization on the show to talk
- 5:59about what we're facing right now in 10 states with this
- 6:03election. So as you guys may know, in this
- 6:05election, there are 10 states that are considering abortion on
- 6:08the ballot. And abortion would be allowed
- 6:10through all nine months of pregnancy with few or little,
- 6:13few or no restrictions. And so I'm going to welcome here
- 6:16Noah Brandt. Noah Brandt is a dear friend of
- 6:18mine. He also has worked with me and
- 6:20done incredible work over at Live Action and, you know, Live
- 6:23Action, the nonprofit pro-life organization I lead.
- 6:26But now Live Action Victory has been launched, which is the
- 6:29sister organization of Live Action Why Live Action Victory?
- 6:34I'm going to let Noah answer this question for us first.
- 6:36But this is a separate organization from Live Action,
- 6:40the C3, and it's designed to achieve political victories.
- 6:43Noah, welcome to the podcast. Give us a little bit of
- 6:45background on on Why Live Action Victory.
- 6:49Thanks Lila. Listen.
- 6:50So excited to be here. Excited to talk about live
- 6:52action victory. Listen, it's called live action
- 6:55victory because we are here to win political victories, right
- 6:58in the in the realm of elections and directly influencing public
- 7:01policy through making sure the right people are in office and
- 7:04in this election. Most importantly, making sure
- 7:07that so many of these states constitutions are not amended to
- 7:11add the killing of children up into the moment of birth through
- 7:15an all nine months to their state constitutions.
- 7:17You know, a lot of folks don't always think about it's like,
- 7:20you know, we live in a, a Republic, right?
- 7:22So the main ways that we create laws is we elect people, we
- 7:26elect state representatives and governors and they pass and sign
- 7:30laws. But you most states also have a
- 7:32process called initiative petition where people can gather
- 7:35signatures and then they can literally add like a law for you
- 7:38to vote on an amendment to the state constitution on that
- 7:41November ballot. So in 10 states, like you said,
- 7:44Lila, in 10 states, just in about 3 weeks from now, then
- 7:47during the November election, voters will go and they'll see
- 7:50things like voting for president or voting for US senator, voting
- 7:53for Congress. And then they'll also see an
- 7:55option to add an amendment to their state constitution to add
- 7:59a right to kill a child. So that's that is what we are
- 8:01laser focused on for this election cycle is defeating
- 8:04these amendments, especially in two very important battlegrounds
- 8:08in Florida and Missouri. Thank you, Noah.
- 8:10Let's pull up and let's go through one of one of these one
- 8:13at a time because there is a lot of I think confusion out here
- 8:17out there and certainly intended confusion by the pro abortion
- 8:20side about what these ballot initiatives would actually do,
- 8:24what these amendments to these state constitutions would
- 8:26actually do. So I want to go through them one
- 8:27by one. But before that, I want to talk
- 8:29about the last two years since the fall of Roe V Wade.
- 8:32So as, as I know, you know, these initiatives are even
- 8:35possible because pro-life laws, I should say, in pro-life states
- 8:38are possible because of the fall of Roe.
- 8:40So now you can have abortion bans or heartbeat laws in states
- 8:43that want to protect human lives.
- 8:45Of course, we support complete abolition of complete abolition
- 8:49of laws that would permit abortion.
- 8:51We want complete legal protection for preborn children.
- 8:54Now the the what the left or the pro abortion side is doing, I
- 8:57don't want to say the whole left because some of the left is
- 8:59they're still pro lifers on the left.
- 9:00But what the pro abortion side is doing right now is going
- 9:03state by state to enshrine abortion in the state
- 9:06constitutions. Can you share what has happened
- 9:09in the last two years since the fall of Roe V.
- 9:12Wade and how this strategy from the pro abortion side has been
- 9:16effective. Yeah, absolutely.
- 9:18Well, I think it's important First off to talk about the
- 9:20Constitution, right? So Roe V Wade decide in the
- 9:231970s, it said that there's a right to abortion in the United
- 9:27States Constitution. That was wrong to the minute it
- 9:29was decided. And then finally two years ago,
- 9:31it was overturned, like you said.
- 9:32So the no more Roe V Wade. But the Supreme Court didn't do
- 9:36the ultimate good, the ultimate truth of what they should do.
- 9:38What the Supreme Court should have said is that listen, we
- 9:40have a 14th Amendment to our Constitution, right?
- 9:42So you have the Civil War for war.
- 9:45We fight over slavery. And after the Civil War, we
- 9:46passed 2 amendments. We passed the 13th Amendment,
- 9:48which abolishes slavery, and the 14th Amendment, which guarantees
- 9:51all people equal protection and due process under the law.
- 9:55The most important thing there for us is equal protection under
- 9:58the law means that a law, a law cannot apply.
- 10:00A law cannot apply to different categories of people separately.
- 10:04So for example, I can't have a law that says, you know, men
- 10:07have a right to vote, but but women don't have a right to
- 10:09vote, right. I can't have a law that says I'm
- 10:12allowed to to hurt someone and another person is not allowed to
- 10:16hurt someone. And then very importantly, it
- 10:17also means that since every state in the union, all 50
- 10:20states have laws preventing homicide, right, and preventing
- 10:23murder, I cannot hurt another person.
- 10:25Murder someone, then those laws apply to every person, right?
- 10:30And who are people? You and I are people, but also
- 10:33children in the womb are people. Preborn children are people.
- 10:35So equal protection under the 14th Amendment is what the
- 10:37Supreme Court should have done and what we are still working to
- 10:40encourage them, even if it takes a long time to ultimately do.
- 10:43But they didn't do that. So what they said is they said
- 10:45that Roe V. Wade is wrong.
- 10:46There is no right to abortion in the state constitution.
- 10:48But there also isn't an affirmative, you know, right to
- 10:53life, which which we see, which we should have under equal
- 10:55protection and that each state can make their own laws right
- 10:58there. And they also said that if
- 10:59federal that elected representatives in general.
- 11:01So the what they said specifically was the people and
- 11:04their elected representatives. So what that means is you have
- 11:07some states like my home state here in Missouri, where I'm
- 11:09recording from where we the the literally the day that Dobbs is
- 11:13overturned, a law went into effect that ended abortion in
- 11:16Missouri, ended elective induced abortion in Missouri.
- 11:19And you also states of California, which have gone even
- 11:21more extreme in the years since, right?
- 11:23They're they're funding people, they're flying people in from
- 11:25across the country to do abortions.
- 11:28And so another thing that we've encountered now since the since
- 11:32abortion is in the political Democratic arena, small D
- 11:35Democratic is in states that do have protections for life that
- 11:40the legislator has passed. So the legislator elected by the
- 11:42people have passed. The abortion lobby is very upset
- 11:45by this, right? They're upset.
- 11:46Then a place like Missouri has a, has a, a protection for life
- 11:49that stops and bans abortion. So what they do is they start an
- 11:53initiative petition process. So we can look at Ohio.
- 11:56That was the most recent one that's already done.
- 11:57This was last year, 2023, in a special election.
- 12:01The Planned Parenthood and their allies in the media and the
- 12:05abortion industry, they raise 10s of millions of dollars, 10s
- 12:08of millions to collect signatures across the state.
- 12:11They pay signature gatherers. They pay people like if you
- 12:13don't stand outside of the grocery store and say, will you
- 12:16sign this petition? And that, you know, a lot of
- 12:18times the people lie. They'll say, oh, this is just
- 12:20about healthcare. You know, this is about ensuring
- 12:23women can get treatment for miscarriage, that type of thing.
- 12:26They'll sign the petition and then if they get enough
- 12:28signatures, it gets added to the ballots.
- 12:30That's what happened in Ohio. And and and then it goes to, you
- 12:34know, it becomes a political race where then you're all
- 12:36voting at the end of the year. And in Ohio, for example, I mean
- 12:39the pro-life side was outspent vastly and the out pro-life side
- 12:43was outspent more than three to one by 10s of millions of
- 12:46dollars. That's such an, I mean the point
- 12:48you're making, which I think most people don't realize about
- 12:51these ballot initiatives is that we were outspent, the pro-life
- 12:55side was outspent 3 to one in states like Ohio.
- 12:59And so you're seeing sometimes hundred, a $100 million put into
- 13:03a small state like Ohio, almost 100 million by the pro abortion
- 13:06side. And the pro-life side, I think
- 13:09did come out swinging in that state.
- 13:11There was 10s of millions of dollars put in on the pro-life
- 13:14side and it still failed. Noah, do you think that this
- 13:18means that the pro-life side is not viable when it comes to
- 13:22these these state races? What, what, what is your take on
- 13:27this? Because of course, this is going
- 13:28to inform our strategy at Live Action Victory, launching this
- 13:30new organization, because we've got to win.
- 13:32We've got to win to protect human life.
- 13:34We can't deal with the continuing losses that we're
- 13:37facing. This is an existential threat to
- 13:40these human beings, to children now in these 10 states.
- 13:44So what's your take on why we have failed and how we can be
- 13:49successful in the future and not feel like we have in the past?
- 13:52Yeah, I think these races that we're looking at are incredibly
- 13:55winnable right there. There are a lot of odds stacked
- 13:57against the pro-life movement, especially money.
- 13:59The biggest thing is we have to talk about the money for a
- 14:01minute because the, the the funding difference is, is vast.
- 14:04So if you think about being outspent 3 to one, that means
- 14:07roughly, if you're just talking about advertisements, right?
- 14:09The people are seeing about three times more advertisements
- 14:13for your, the opposing side, the pro abortion side than the
- 14:16pro-life side. And when it comes to voting on
- 14:18ballot initiatives, right, it's different than voting for.
- 14:21It's actually money is even more political spending is more
- 14:23important because whenever you're a candidate, you're
- 14:26affiliated with a party. And so most people have an
- 14:29intuitive understanding that I usually vote for Republicans or
- 14:32usually vote for Democrats. And so even if there's a big
- 14:35funding disparity, kind of the so-called fundamentals of the
- 14:38race are consistent because a lot of the people who usually
- 14:41vote for Republicans are going to vote for Republican
- 14:42regardless. A lot of people usually vote for
- 14:44a Democrat, are going to vote for a Democrat regardless These
- 14:46initiative petitions, they do not have a letter by them,
- 14:49right? So we, so the, the simplest way
- 14:50to put this is for many voters who are focused on other things
- 14:53in their life and not always following politics, there is not
- 14:56kind of a little CHEAT SHEET in the ballot box of how to vote of
- 14:58like, oh, I'm normally a Republican.
- 15:00I'm just going to vote. I don't know who this guy is or
- 15:01this gal is. I'm going to vote Republican.
- 15:02I'm normally a Democrat, I'm going to vote Democrat.
- 15:04And so the messages people are getting the the especially on
- 15:08their phones and on their televisions are more important
- 15:11than ever because often times voters are starting with a very
- 15:14low amount of information about what they're even.
- 15:17Considering. So, so just to break it down a
- 15:19little more, So what you're saying is, you know, typically
- 15:21these ballot questions have a lot of text, you know, you're
- 15:24dealing with sometimes up to a page full of texts describing
- 15:27what this amendment would theoretically do.
- 15:30And typically when a voter goes to the voting booth, they are
- 15:33considering party lines. You know, they're voting R or
- 15:35they're voting D they're voting Republican.
- 15:37And the name and people right the names of.
- 15:39People and the name. Of the person in a.
- 15:42Party and that's why of course, when you're in a political race
- 15:45and you're a candidate, name recognition is everything you
- 15:47want. The more your name gets out
- 15:49there, even if it's unfavorable, your name being out there is
- 15:52going to stick in people's heads when they go to the voting
- 15:54booth. And so with these amendments,
- 15:56there's no name recognition involved.
- 15:58You're dealing with a lack of clarity around whether a yes or
- 16:01a no is even pro-life, pro abortion, Republican, Democrat.
- 16:05Sometimes it's very unclear what, how you're even voting,
- 16:07what it would even mean that yes or a no, because you're dealing
- 16:11with sometimes a paragraph or a page full of words that are
- 16:14often intentionally written to mislead.
- 16:17And then you're dealing with on top of that, a pro abortion side
- 16:21that is spending up to $100 million in a state like Ohio, in
- 16:25a small state, not a, not a huge state, I mean, not a, not a tiny
- 16:28state, but you know, mid size state.
- 16:30You're spending up to $100 million to basically lie to
- 16:34people that their own safety, their health, the health of
- 16:38their mothers, their sisters and their daughters is at stake if
- 16:41they don't vote the way of the pro abortion side.
- 16:43Of course, they don't call it for abortion.
- 16:45They just say vote no or they'll say vote yes depending on which
- 16:47side it is site site is on. Usually it's that you vote yes.
- 16:50And so let's let's go watch some ads now, Noah.
- 16:54If, if, if we can, we'll comment on them that the pro abortion
- 16:57side is using right now in Missouri and in Florida to push
- 17:03their abortion through birth agenda until birth agenda.
- 17:07And I do think it's important because we just can't say this
- 17:10enough times. Vote no if you are in any one of
- 17:14these 10 states. And let's list the states for
- 17:15everyone, Noah, so that folks know, of course, Missouri is one
- 17:18of them that we're going to be focusing on here.
- 17:20Florida is another hugely important one.
- 17:23If you are a pro lifer in those states, you need to vote no.
- 17:26And it's voting no on the amendment, depending on your
- 17:29state on the amendment that is basically having anything to do
- 17:32with abortion. I think that's a good rule of
- 17:34thumb. If the amendment has to do with
- 17:35abortion, you can vote no. There's one exception, of
- 17:37course, here. I'm going to turn it over to to,
- 17:39you know, to walk us through that that briefly.
- 17:41So that people can know if they're in one of these states,
- 17:44that they're up, that they need to vote no, and that they can
- 17:47encourage other people to vote no as well.
- 17:49So let you do let you do the rundown for us.
- 17:52Let's do it. And just to add 1 one more point
- 17:54to what you're saying Lila, about the difference.
- 17:55What, why these, why this amendment fight is different
- 17:58than a normal political fight with candidates is it's almost
- 18:00like our general, the general fight of the pro-life movement,
- 18:03right? We're we are advocating and
- 18:04fighting for a constituency that cannot speak for themselves,
- 18:07preborn babies. And these amendments do not
- 18:09talk, right? Candidates literally talk.
- 18:10People watch ads, they watch interviews, they read op eds by
- 18:14candidates talking. These amendments do not talk and
- 18:17they are very confusing and long and people are intending to
- 18:20deceive. So what I'll say to everyone
- 18:21listening, especially if you're in one of these states or have
- 18:24friends or family in these states, personal reach out is
- 18:26more important than ever because since these amendments do not
- 18:29speak, people who who are interested in telling the truth
- 18:32have to talk about what they actually say.
- 18:34So if you're in a state like Arizona, Colorado, Florida,
- 18:38Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nebraska's the only
- 18:43interesting one I can mention in a minute.
- 18:45Nevada, New York, and South Dakota, Those 10 states say one
- 18:48more time, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Montana,
- 18:52Nebraska, Nevada, New York, South Dakota.
- 18:54If you're in one of those states, you have an amendment on
- 18:57your ballot. When you go to vote for
- 18:58president, you are going to see this on your ballot and will not
- 19:01say this in text because they write it in a deceptive way.
- 19:04But in practice, this amendment will legalize abortion up until
- 19:08birth in your state constitutions.
- 19:10And if you're in a state like Colorado and New York and
- 19:12Maryland, which unfortunately pretty much already have
- 19:14abortion legalized up until birth, this will add it to your
- 19:17state constitution and make it even harder to change and make
- 19:20it much harder to pass even sort of ancillary pro-life things.
- 19:23And also in a place like Maryland, it'll make taxpayer
- 19:26funding of abortions legal along with codifying abortion up until
- 19:30birth in your constitution. So vote no.
- 19:32And I'll just mention briefly so no one's in suspense.
- 19:35Nebraska is the only state on this.
- 19:36They actually have two competing amendments.
- 19:38They have one amendment to legalize abortion up until the
- 19:42moment of birth, and then they have another amendment that
- 19:44would, in in their state constitution, codify their
- 19:46current law, which bans abortion after 12 weeks, but while still
- 19:50allowing future future pro-life progress.
- 19:53So just to go through these states again, we've got Arizona
- 19:56on the ballot. So vote no in Arizona.
- 19:58We've got Colorado on the ballot, Vote no in Colorado,
- 20:01Florida on the ballot. That's Amendment one.
- 20:03Vote no. On Florida.
- 20:05Excuse me, Amendment floor in Florida, you've got Maryland.
- 20:08Like you said, vote no in Maryland.
- 20:10You've got Montana, so vote no in Montana, Nebraska, Nevada,
- 20:16New York. What am I missing?
- 20:17And then of course, Missouri and South Dakota.
- 20:20So it is there a resource if people go to
- 20:23liveactionvictory.com.org, excuse me, there is going to be
- 20:28a resource for you there that already gives you clear mandate
- 20:31for Missouri and for Florida. It will also have the list of
- 20:35how to vote on these measures if there's any confusion across
- 20:38these different states. But these are the states that
- 20:40are in play right now. Let's go next to some of what's
- 20:44happening right now. Let's zoom into what's happening
- 20:46right now in Missouri and in Florida.
- 20:49Noah, can you give us your, your input on this too?
- 20:52Before we do that, let's go to Amendment 4.
- 20:54Actually, there's this graphic I want to look at with you, Noah.
- 20:56We can pull this up. Harris, this is an example of
- 21:01unpacking the misinformation from the pro abortion side and
- 21:05how these amendments are written and how deceptively they are
- 21:09written. So here you go, you have
- 21:11amendment 4. This is a flyer.
- 21:13It says not what? It seems way too extreme.
- 21:15This is a messaging that some of the pro-life groups that no on
- 21:18four people are using, but you can see right here it's a.
- 21:21Context, right, this this type so where it says title and
- 21:24summary, that's exactly what will be on the ballot for
- 21:27Floridians. That's what they will see.
- 21:29And then this red is sort of some try to actually unpack the
- 21:32way Lila's going to So what you see title and summary that Lila
- 21:35will read. That's literally what Floridians
- 21:37will see when they go to vote. Amendment to limit government
- 21:40interference with abortion. So already this sounds, you
- 21:44know, kind of conservative ish, Republican ish, because it's
- 21:47saying we're going to limit government interference.
- 21:50Government interference can be interpreted to mean a lot of
- 21:52different things, right? If you're just an average voter
- 21:55and you're like, maybe you're pro-life, you're like limit
- 21:56government interference with abortion.
- 21:59You might be thinking, oh, is the government promoting
- 22:01abortion? Is it paying for abortion?
- 22:02Because the government does pay for abortion tax funded
- 22:04abortions in many States and to some degree federally.
- 22:08So the title is already misleading because what
- 22:11Amendment 4 actually does is it's going to remove any
- 22:14abortion restriction in the state of Florida.
- 22:16So you could have an abortion virtually for any reason at any
- 22:18time of pregnancy. So let's go on to see what the
- 22:20summary says. It says no law shall prohibit,
- 22:23penalized, delay or restrict abortion before viability or
- 22:27when necessary to protect the patient's health as determined
- 22:31by the patient's healthcare provider.
- 22:33So now here it's more clear it's going to remove any restriction
- 22:36of abortion, but then it claims it's only before viability
- 22:40unless it's necessary to protect the patients health.
- 22:43And this is where there's a huge loophole.
- 22:45This is why Amendment 4 actually permits abortion until birth for
- 22:48any reason, because it's saying that if the patient's healthcare
- 22:51provider deems it necessary for their health.
- 22:54Again, this is a very broad category of what what this can
- 22:58mean could be really anything that the abortion provider, in
- 23:01this case abortionist decides upon with the patient.
- 23:04So if they're in the third trimester, late 2nd trimester,
- 23:07that baby's fully formed viable, they can say this is for my
- 23:10health, my mental health, my emotional health.
- 23:13This is for this is a really sick justification, but the
- 23:16baby's health, because the baby's sick and the baby
- 23:18shouldn't, you know, she doesn't have good quality of life.
- 23:21So the baby should be aborted. All of these could be
- 23:23justifications in the state of Florida for a perfectly legal
- 23:27abortion if amendment four goes into play, if it actually gets
- 23:32enshrined in the state constitution.
- 23:34And then it goes on to this last bit and it says this amendment
- 23:37does not change the legislature's constitutional
- 23:39authority to require notification to a parent or
- 23:42guardian before a minor has an abortion.
- 23:44This is like a Trojan horse here, guys.
- 23:46This is them trying to do this little nod to people's good
- 23:49consciences and concerns saying, well, if you're a parent, you
- 23:52should still get parental notification even if we're going
- 23:55to legalize abortion through birth.
- 23:56So they kind of make it sound softer with this little clause
- 23:59at the end to try to, again, I think they're very misleading
- 24:04here saying, oh, well, at least the parents are going to get
- 24:06consent. When really what this does is
- 24:08completely strips Florida of any legal protection for babies and
- 24:12allows Florida to become a Wild West for abortion.
- 24:16Noah, what would the consequences be for the state of
- 24:19Florida if Amendment 4 gets enshrined in the state
- 24:22constitution? Florida currently has a law
- 24:26protecting children at approximately 6 weeks for their
- 24:29heartbeat can be detected. That's when children currently
- 24:31have legal protection in Florida.
- 24:33If a minute for passes, that law goes away along with every other
- 24:37abortion limiting regulation in the state.
- 24:40It's estimated there will be 50,000 more abortions a year,
- 24:4450,000. And if you think about right,
- 24:46why are we focused on Florida even more than any other state
- 24:50this year? It's because this is the most
- 24:52important political fight of the year.
- 24:54I think even more than who's going to be president when it
- 24:57comes to children living or dying, because this is 50,000
- 25:00children, 50,000 children a year will die if this amendment is
- 25:05passed. So the consequences are really
- 25:10dire. Florida would also become an
- 25:12abortion destination in this part of the country.
- 25:16A lot of the southern states have banned abortion or severely
- 25:19restricted abortion. So this would become a
- 25:21destination because now late term abortionists could set up
- 25:24shop and as long as long as they sign off that this is for the
- 25:26mother's health, they can commit gruesome, brutal, painful late
- 25:31term abortions on helpless babies.
- 25:34It's it's important to know even Lila right on the health
- 25:36exception. It does not even say physical
- 25:38health there, there will be so, so the, even the, I mean the,
- 25:42the loophole's so big you could drive a truck in it.
- 25:44You almost can't call a loophole just a part of the law.
- 25:46But if some a a doctor could give a mental health
- 25:50justification for an abortion at 8 months and that would be legal
- 25:55under Amendment 4. So it is crucial if you are in
- 25:58Florida, obviously to vote no on Amendment 4.
- 26:01But also there is some hope here.
- 26:03There are groups galvanized to action in Florida.
- 26:06I'm just going to be very candid here.
- 26:08There aren't enough of them. There aren't enough groups in
- 26:11Florida. There's people there doing
- 26:12amazing work, trying their very best, but we need more resources
- 26:16focused on Florida. There's simply not enough live
- 26:18action. Our C3 has already maxed out its
- 26:22legally permitted spending on these ballot initiatives to
- 26:25fight for life, and This is why we've also launched Live Action
- 26:28Victory to get in the game. Noah, what is Live Action
- 26:31Victory doing right now in Florida?
- 26:34Yeah, absolutely, Lila. Lila, we are on air right now.
- 26:37So the pro abortion side in Florida, they've raised $60
- 26:40million, six, 0, $60 million. And it's almost all being used
- 26:46to run ads, especially on people's phones and on people's
- 26:50televisions. And I think we'll watch some of
- 26:52those ads soon. Deceiving people saying that
- 26:54women are not being able to get miscarriage care because of
- 26:58because of Amendment 4, which is a complete lie.
- 27:00Saying that people, even children who are raped are being
- 27:04harmed by Florida's pro-life laws and they need to be
- 27:06repealed, which is a lie. And at the end of the day, what
- 27:09they're focusing on is propaganda, but it's emotionally
- 27:13charged. They're trying to get people to
- 27:15viscerally say, Oh my gosh, like regardless of actually what
- 27:18this, what the Amendment 4 does or how I feel, I need to vote in
- 27:21favor of it because of this, this litany of horribles.
- 27:23I mean, it's like, I'm not in favor of miscarriages and rape,
- 27:26and that's what they're trying to make people feel like if they
- 27:28oppose Amendment 4. And so the only way we believe,
- 27:32and we've done rigorous polling and focus groups in Florida, the
- 27:36only way to counter this message, especially with fewer
- 27:38resources, right? It's like we are galvanizing as
- 27:40many resources as we can, but I don't think we're going to raise
- 27:42$60 million to spend on this. And so the only way that we can
- 27:46win, especially fewer resources, is to focus on the issue that is
- 27:49most emotionally salient. And it sticks with people on our
- 27:53side, which is the absolute brutality of abortions.
- 27:57You know, listen, I'm in favor of any of every single pro-life
- 28:00group doing any work or any, any politician, anything to advocate
- 28:04against this. But I think that other messages
- 28:07sometimes fail to resonate with voters, even though they they
- 28:09are maybe popular in the abstract, because they aren't as
- 28:13emotionally sticky. People don't think about it.
- 28:16And so the most important thing we can do is be talking about
- 28:19the brutality of abortion, saying that these are human
- 28:21children, that they're being killed.
- 28:23And so our ad that we'll watch soon, right?
- 28:24It's a former abortionist talking about what an abortion
- 28:27abortion is and what it does and how Amendment 4 bring that to
- 28:31Florida. So, but so right now we are live
- 28:33on people's phones, you know, on things like on YouTube, on
- 28:37television with this message advocating against Amendment 4
- 28:40and trying to call people towards humanity and towards
- 28:42voting against Amendment 4. Thank you, Noah.
- 28:44So we're going to watch the live action victory ad that's
- 28:47currently on the airwaves in Florida right now.
- 28:51We have already started this in just the last couple weeks.
- 28:55Right now we are looking to get this ad in front of more people.
- 28:58How much money does it cost Noah to get this ad?
- 29:02About 7 times. That's I think the golden number
- 29:04we're looking for to hit voters 7 times with the ad to really
- 29:08enshrine that idea in their minds.
- 29:10I really cemented in their minds that yes, no is the right way to
- 29:14go on Amendment 4 in Florida. How many times does that need to
- 29:16happen and how much does that cost?
- 29:19That's right, seven times. It's a best practice in any sort
- 29:21of advertisement. You want someone to remember
- 29:22something, give it to him seven times, say it 7 times.
- 29:25So to reach a voter 7 times in Florida, 42 cents, $0.42, right,
- 29:2940-2 cents, that gets us a voter.
- 29:31That's not a voter sing at once. That's a voter sing at 7 times.
- 29:34That's incredible. And, and the strategy that we're
- 29:37running here is we are not, you know, putting this on every
- 29:41television channel regardless of who watches it.
- 29:43We are specifically targeting people who are receptive but on
- 29:47the fence about how to vote on Amendment 4 and Amendment 4.
- 29:49I just need to say this too, Amendment 4 is winnable.
- 29:52And another sort of just cork that I think I could be God
- 29:55helping us, we're working in our favor is that to pass a
- 29:58constitutional amendment in Florida, you don't just need 51%
- 30:01or 50.1% like most places, right?
- 30:03You don't just need a majority, you need to get 60% of people to
- 30:07say yes. I want to change this, right?
- 30:09So you need to get 60% of people to say yes.
- 30:11And they have, they have $60 million to get that 60%.
- 30:14But with our our message and especially being able to reach
- 30:17more and more people for that 4042 cents to reach them seven
- 30:20times that we can win this thing.
- 30:22We can keep that under 60% and win.
- 30:25Thank you, Noah. OK, let's watch the ad that's
- 30:27currently live in Florida. This ad for only $0.42 live
- 30:33action victory can get it seven times in front of the same voter
- 30:38in the state of Florida. That's what it costs to get this
- 30:40ad. Seven times in front of the
- 30:42voter in the state of Florida. Let's watch the ad.
- 30:47If she were 12 weeks pregnant or less, basically the width of
- 30:49your hand or smaller. You could basically do the
- 30:51entire procedure with this. But babies this big don't fit
- 30:54through catheters. This side you introduce an
- 30:57instrument called the sofer clamp and pull.
- 30:59And I do mean hard. And out pops a leg about that
- 31:02big which you put down on the table next to you.
- 31:03Tear out the spine, the intestines, the heart and lungs.
- 31:07I'm an OBGYN and former abortionist in Florida.
- 31:10Amendment 4 will allow brutal abortions like this for all nine
- 31:13months. Vote No on Amendment 4.
- 31:19All right, so there you have it, this ad from Live Action Victory
- 31:21showing exactly what Amendment 4 would permit in the state of
- 31:25Florida. Noah, can you briefly share how
- 31:28this ad has performed? We've done a lot of focus
- 31:30grouping on this ad in getting people to, in persuading people
- 31:35to vote no. Yeah, absolutely.
- 31:38I mean to put it shortly, this ad performs extremely well.
- 31:40It's very effective against the pro abortion ads, but you might
- 31:43come to look at soon here and they're, they're right.
- 31:46They message on a lot of a lot of topics, especially these very
- 31:49challenging topics to many people, things like rape and
- 31:52miscarriage and these things. This ad performs very well.
- 31:54And then it also performs even better than other pro-life ads.
- 31:58You know, it's like, I think that like I said, anyone who's
- 32:00doing any effort to help defeat these amendments is doing really
- 32:02fantastic work. But the ad did very, very well.
- 32:05You know, to get really specific, you know, we ran
- 32:07polling 2 polls across the whole state of Florida.
- 32:10And then we did a specific focus group by a focus group is when
- 32:12you bring a couple dozen people and instead of like a poll,
- 32:15there's like 1000 people, the focus group between a couple
- 32:18dozen people. And we did that in Tampa and
- 32:19Miami and this ad. Performed.
- 32:21Extremely well, the other, the most important thing, especially
- 32:24when you have less resources than the other side, the most
- 32:26important thing in political advertising is memorability, or
- 32:30we call it recall, right? Voter recall.
- 32:32Do you remember seeing this ad? And this is an extremely
- 32:35memorable ad. I think for everyone who just
- 32:37saw it, you can see why it's heartbreaking.
- 32:40Showing the truth of abortion is is really, really challenging
- 32:42and people need to be challenged.
- 32:45And this is a unique live action victory strategy to actually go
- 32:48for the jugular and actually have a former abortionist talk
- 32:51about what exactly is happening during these abortion
- 32:53procedures. And then to have another former
- 32:55abortionist in Florida say this is what would happen in Florida
- 32:57with Amendment 4. So we're have that not just an
- 32:59appeal to authority, but you have that, that, that really
- 33:02viscerally gut wrenching emotional response of what
- 33:07abortion is. You're you're getting people to
- 33:09have that response to what abortion is when you see this
- 33:11ad. Unfortunately, I think some of
- 33:12the tack that the pro-life movement has taken in some of
- 33:15these states historically when they put money behind ads are
- 33:18more softball. So the ads will maybe not talk
- 33:21about what horrible things abortion does.
- 33:23They'll instead talk about ancillary issues like parental
- 33:26consent or they'll talk about women's healthcare.
- 33:29They won't go specifically to the core problem with these
- 33:33ballot initiatives, which is that they're permitting killing
- 33:36babies. They don't get to the jugular
- 33:38explaining what that what that is and what that what abortion
- 33:40through all nine months would look like.
- 33:42But that's what this live action victory ad in Florida looks
- 33:44like. OK, we're going to pull up an ad
- 33:47from the opposition so you guys can see what the opposition is
- 33:51doing in Florida right now and the kinds of ads that they are
- 33:55spending 10s of millions of dollars on.
- 33:58So here's an ad in Florida, the Yes on 4 campaign.
- 34:01And you'll just see how emotionally charged this ad is.
- 34:05And I'm going to point out with, you know, how misleading it is.
- 34:07But I wanted you guys to be aware that this is what is
- 34:10hounding people on the state of Florida.
- 34:12I also have to say, you know, I was texting with friends during
- 34:15in the hurricane just the last week or two who are in Tampa,
- 34:19who are in, you know, on the coast of Florida.
- 34:21And they are literally, you know, bunking bunker, hunkering
- 34:25down, trying to get shelter from a in some ways, potentially
- 34:29historic storm that could destroy their homes, destroy
- 34:32their their towns. And these ads are just blaring,
- 34:36you know, constantly on on the TV that I took a there took a
- 34:39picture. They were at a friend's house
- 34:40where they had escaped from the from the hurricane to go hunker
- 34:44down with them. And there was this ad that was
- 34:47just playing on the television, of course, from the pro abortion
- 34:50side. So let's take a look at what
- 34:51these ads look like from the pro abortion side.
- 34:53Florida has a near total abortion ban with no real
- 34:57exceptions for rape, incest, or the health of the woman.
- 35:01It bans abortion before many women even realize they are
- 35:04pregnant. The only way to stop the ban is
- 35:07to vote yes on four. Amendment 4 is simple.
- 35:10It will protect the right to abortion in the Florida
- 35:12Constitution. Florida women should have the
- 35:15right to make their own healthcare decisions in
- 35:17consultation with their doctors and those they trust.
- 35:20Vote yes to give Florida women their rights back.
- 35:24All right, so there you see, obviously the misleading
- 35:26language is this women's healthcare?
- 35:28The only way to help women in Florida is to what?
- 35:30Enshrine abortion in the state constitution?
- 35:32That's obviously completely false.
- 35:34The euphemisms are clear. The false words about how it
- 35:36being healthcare, saying that there's no rape, incest
- 35:39exceptions, there actually are in the state of Florida.
- 35:41I disagree with that, but they've been misleading about
- 35:43the current state of law in Florida.
- 35:45No, I don't know if you have any other thoughts, but I want to
- 35:47watch the next one after you give your take.
- 35:50Yeah, I mean, we let's watch the next one.
- 35:51Break them down. I mean, this is this is
- 35:53emotional, right? You, you hear these things and
- 35:56they are not playing on the logic part of your brain.
- 35:58They're playing on the emotional part of your brain.
- 36:00And then on our side, we have the facts, the logic and the
- 36:03emotion. But I think too often you kind
- 36:05of got this, Lila. We do not employ the emotion.
- 36:09And they do that very well. So you can you can play the next
- 36:11one too. But it's like, go watch that,
- 36:12right? They are.
- 36:13These ads are all emotion. Vote yes.
- 36:44On Amendment 4, to protect women and girls, so that ad for those
- 36:49listening later and not watching it had this narrative about
- 36:52girls who were the victims of incest claiming that they're not
- 36:55protected and they're going to be deeply harmed with this
- 36:58heartbreaking ban they call it. And this is the reason to vote
- 37:01yes on Amendment 4, of course, using these really heartbreaking
- 37:05stop cases to justify what enshrining abortion through all
- 37:09nine months of pregnancy on babies at any age in the state
- 37:12constitution of Florida. So again, highly emotional,
- 37:16highly misleading, and of course, not a single word about
- 37:20the baby. Not a single word about the baby
- 37:22that would be killed in these cases. 0 empathy for them.
- 37:26The focus is on these very rare and very heartbreaking cases.
- 37:30Even the imagery of that ad, especially the people just
- 37:32listening in, like it's showing like a little girl's like
- 37:35Princess decorated room, you know, like it's, it's really
- 37:38hard. Like it's really, I mean, just
- 37:41revolting in a lot of ways that they're using this type of
- 37:43imagery to promote abortion, to promote the killing of of little
- 37:47children. And you know, and as you know,
- 37:49Lila's talked about her show and live action content shows, you
- 37:52know, abortion does not heal rape.
- 37:54You know, abortion does not heal rape.
- 37:55Abortion does not heal incest. What it does is it creates a
- 37:59whole separate horrific wound, right?
- 38:01It it makes a mother complicit in the, in the killing of her
- 38:04child. So it's like that does not.
- 38:06So it's like, not only is it sad to see, because in many ways it
- 38:09is effective to trying to scare people, right?
- 38:11And they're trying to freak people out and they're trying to
- 38:13make people sad. But it's just, it's such a, such
- 38:16a duplicitous lie. I want to move next to Amendment
- 38:203 in Missouri before I do that. Noah, what is the spend right
- 38:25now that Live Action Victory is able to do in Florida?
- 38:28And again, this is an opportunity for people to
- 38:31partner with Live Action Victory.
- 38:33It's Live Action victory.org. You can make a one time gift the
- 38:37Max amount you're able to do. Every $0.42 you spend then can
- 38:41help reach a voter in Florida 7 times.
- 38:44How much are we spending right now in Florida and how can
- 38:46people support live action victory and helping win victory
- 38:49for the unborn in Florida? Yeah, absolutely.
- 38:52I mean, you know, live action is on air right now.
- 38:54It's like live action between live action.
- 38:56What live action proper can the C3 can spend according to legal
- 39:01rules about, about charities and live action victory.
- 39:04We're going to be spending more than $300,000 in Florida right
- 39:07now. And it's like every every
- 39:09partner who walks with us on this makes a huge difference,
- 39:11right? Just because it's like it's
- 39:13like, you know, and just a dollar a dollar and you're
- 39:15reaching 2 voters 7 times or that could be two votes and this
- 39:18could be a close election. I don't know, even big states
- 39:21like Florida to have close elections.
- 39:22If you guys remember, you know, in 2000, the recount between
- 39:25George W Bush and Al Gore, that came down to less, you know,
- 39:28just a couple 100 votes, you know, so it's like these things
- 39:31make a huge difference. Awesome.
- 39:33Thank you, Noah. Thank you for your work in
- 39:35Florida. So of course, no on Amendment 4
- 39:37in Florida. Let's next go to Amendment 3 in
- 39:41Missouri. So this is the other one where
- 39:43live action is in play. Live action victory is in play.
- 39:47The reason we are in Florida and Missouri is because these are
- 39:50two winnable fights. We really believe they are
- 39:52winnable fights in states that have huge consequences if these
- 39:56amendments go into law. So of course, all 10 states
- 39:59deserve a support and attention. We are focusing our ammo.
- 40:03In live action, our, our, our, our financial ammo in live
- 40:06action victory and, and live action the, the C4C3 in Missouri
- 40:11and in Florida. Let's go to the Missouri 3
- 40:14Missouri Amendment three language here because we were
- 40:17talking about misleading language.
- 40:19So Harris, I don't know if you have this, Let me send this to
- 40:21make sure you can pull this up. So this is Amendment 3 in
- 40:23Missouri, which would also legalize abortion on demand.
- 40:27And I'm going to read here what the language is.
- 40:30It says a yes vote. I don't know if you can see
- 40:34this. Harrison, pull this up for folks
- 40:35watching on YouTube right now. I'm going to read it.
- 40:38A yes vote supports adding a fundamental right to
- 40:43reproductive freedom, defined to include abortion and all matters
- 40:48relating to reproductive care. A no vote opposes adding a
- 40:53fundamental right to reproductive freedom in the
- 40:55Missouri Constitution. Incredibly misleading here.
- 40:59I mean, reproductive freedom, that sounds good to me.
- 41:02I mean, that should sound good to anyone.
- 41:03Anyone has the right to, you know, get married, a right to,
- 41:07you know, seek to conceive a child, a right to carry a child.
- 41:09Of course, those are rights in my view.
- 41:13But to say that actually this is a right to abortion, which is
- 41:17what the amendment really says. It says a fundamental right to
- 41:20reproductive freedom defined to include abortion.
- 41:23This is not about reproductive freedom whatsoever.
- 41:25This is about killing babies and having an unfettered, unlimited
- 41:28right to kill a baby. Noah, what?
- 41:31What? What is your take?
- 41:32You're in. I know you're in the state of
- 41:33Missouri. This is close to home for you.
- 41:36Breaks my heart breaks my heart. You know, Missouri, the pro-life
- 41:40pro-life Missourians have fought for decades.
- 41:42You know what I mean to to protect our children and our
- 41:45pro-life loss saves thousands of children the year it's estimated
- 41:478000 kids a year. And you know we have one of the
- 41:50the best protections for life in the entire country.
- 41:53And in one fell swoop, amendment three would make, would
- 41:56literally put it would put Missouri on par with California,
- 42:00Canada, North Korea, and allowing abortion up until the
- 42:03very last minute for any and any reason.
- 42:05And, and here's the thing, this, you know, in the Florida law,
- 42:08when we had looked at that text, it said, you know, a health
- 42:11exception, a general health exception.
- 42:12This, this law in text, Missouri Amendment 3 makes it clear that
- 42:16mental health, they literally say it or mental health, there
- 42:19could be mental health reason for abortion at any point.
- 42:22So their ads lie. They say this would allow
- 42:24abortion up to viability, which is a ridiculous standard anyway,
- 42:27right? Well, but it's, but anyway, they
- 42:29say that they would only allow abortion up to viability, but
- 42:31for any reason it would allow the killing of children.
- 42:34And it's, I mean, the, the, the spending here we can watch,
- 42:37watch the Missouri attitude. It's spending here is
- 42:39staggering, $24 million has been raised to pass Amendment 3 in
- 42:44Missouri. And and Missouri is a small
- 42:45media market, like Missouri's media market compared to
- 42:48Florida's is way less than half and almost half the money raised
- 42:51in Florida has been raised here in Missouri to pass it three and
- 42:54a half million dollars just from George Soros, the pro abortion
- 42:57billionaire, millions of dollars.
- 42:59Alone. I mean, let's just pause on that
- 43:00for a moment. George Soros, folks on the
- 43:03podcast may be familiar. He's the very left-leaning, very
- 43:06pro abortion billionaire who's gotten involved in a lot of
- 43:09these, I think eugenic quests, I'm going to call them, to
- 43:13eradicate the babies of poor people and the baby seen as
- 43:16unfit disability, babies with disabilities.
- 43:18And he's himself putting in over $3,000,000 in this tiny, tiny
- 43:21American state to enshrine abortion through all nine months
- 43:25of pregnancy into the state constitution.
- 43:27So this is how much the opposition cares, Noah, how much
- 43:30money in total do we know that the pro abortion side is putting
- 43:34into their propaganda in Missouri?
- 43:37And then how much money has the pro-life side been able to put
- 43:39in so far? Or a pledge so far?
- 43:42So we know and this data is you know about about 3 weeks old
- 43:45now. So there's been probably there's
- 43:46been some more money on both sides, but at least 24,000,000
- 43:49dollars, $24 million on the pro abortion side and reported just
- 43:53a little bit less than $1 million on the pro-life side.
- 43:57And that one. Million 24,000,000.
- 43:59And that one million includes how much from live action,
- 44:02victory and live action. About $200,000.
- 44:05So this is again all hands on deck in Missouri.
- 44:08I don't know if you have numbers here, Noah, to share with us
- 44:11about what your dollar can do in Missouri, but we are.
- 44:14Even more, even more, 35 cents, $0.35 reaches one order seven
- 44:20times in Missouri. So 42 cents, Florida, Missouri,
- 44:24the money goes even farther. It's a smaller medium market,
- 44:26$0.35 and you get to reach a voter 7 times.
- 44:29Now we're going to watch what the pro abortion side is doing
- 44:32in Missouri right now. We're going to watch one of
- 44:34their ads and do a quick analysis.
- 44:36Then we're going to watch the live action ad, the live action
- 44:39victory ad. They're both organizations are
- 44:41using this ad. Let's start with the pro
- 44:43abortion ad from the Yes on Three campaign.
- 44:48As a doctor, I treat all my patients with care and respect.
- 44:53But in Missouri, Black women are three times more likely to die
- 44:57to die due to pregnancy complications because of
- 45:00healthcare inequities. And now Missouri's abortion ban
- 45:04forces doctors to wait until patients are bleeding out or in
- 45:07septic shock to provide care. And we can't help survivors of
- 45:11rape or incest get the care they need.
- 45:14So I'm voting yes on Amendment 3 to stop the ban and save lives.
- 45:20What do you think, Noah? I mean, so, so, so right.
- 45:24So we've seen him talk about, you know, miscarriage care.
- 45:27We've seen him talk about rape and child sexual assault.
- 45:30And now right, they're, they're more or less saying that voting
- 45:33against Amendment 3 makes you a racist, that you're and, and,
- 45:39and they bring, they bring up Lila, they bring up maternal
- 45:42mortality, which is, man, that is a, that is an issue in
- 45:45America. Like we should be putting, maybe
- 45:46George Soros should be putting $3,000,000 or you know, Florida
- 45:49should be putting $60 million to helping solve this.
- 45:51I mean, the government should be putting billions of dollars
- 45:53towards helping reduce maternal mortality, as in making it safer
- 45:56to give birth in America. But saying that abortion
- 46:00killing, you know, let's just be honest.
- 46:02But with this ad, is killing a black mother's child somehow
- 46:05helps black maternal mortality? It is insulting and it's a lie
- 46:09and it's ridiculous. So let's next watch the live
- 46:12action ad that is going to be that is on the airwaves and with
- 46:16your support can be on the airwaves even more by airwaves.
- 46:19By the way, guys, as you may know, I'm talking mostly
- 46:22digital. So I don't know if airwaves is a
- 46:24quite, quite the right word for that.
- 46:25But the point is this is a digital spend more than
- 46:28anything, because that is with the best bang for your buck in
- 46:31reaching people. And in Missouri right now, they
- 46:33are just getting bombarded with all of the propaganda from the
- 46:38campaign, the pro abortion side. So this is a no on Amendment
- 46:42three ad from Live Action Victory.
- 46:44Let's take a look. And I'll, I'll, I'll say, I'll
- 46:46say this Lila, you know, as, as a Missourian, you know who I, I,
- 46:50I'm a, I'm a relatively young person.
- 46:52I go on YouTube a lot. I would say that this ad like
- 46:55that though, that ad that we just saw, right?
- 46:57That ad and other pro abortion ads in Missouri are what I'm
- 47:01seeing truly more than more than anything, more than anything
- 47:04else, like like more, more than even advertising for products.
- 47:08That's what I'm seeing, you know, So it's it, it is, it is
- 47:13untruely unreal the amount of money because the, the way that
- 47:16$24 million can go in Missouri, that's just, that's a lot of ad
- 47:22space. And so it just, it is
- 47:25absolutely, absolutely urgent. We're about to pull up the
- 47:29Missouri ad here shortly and this is the no on three ad.
- 47:34Noah, can you share before you watch this why you think this ad
- 47:38will be successful, Why it can be successful in Missouri?
- 47:40Sure. Just briefly about the focus
- 47:42grouping that was done on this ad and the work done on this ad
- 47:45to show its effectiveness. Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:47Well, we did. We did very similar polling and
- 47:49focus grouping for this act as as folks will see, it's an
- 47:52extremely that we're using the same content from this.
- 47:55You know what, what I think is most important to to realize
- 47:58about or understand about the live action ad.
- 48:00What are we doing? We're showing the brutality,
- 48:02we're telling the truth, we're describing abortion.
- 48:04We're using a real medical doctor, Doctor Anthony Levitino.
- 48:08And also the setting, if you think about what made that
- 48:10Florida ad. So it's so effective.
- 48:13I think that that's talking about the child sexual assault
- 48:16and you're showing this, you know, like a little girl's room,
- 48:18you know, like a version of little girl's room.
- 48:20And so what's great about the doctor Anthony Lavetino ad is he
- 48:24is speaking in a congressional hearing.
- 48:26You know, so he is there is a pure call to authority there
- 48:29because he is talking directly to members of Congress in that
- 48:32instance about what abortion truly is.
- 48:34Because that's the hard thing, Lila, is they don't like even
- 48:37folks on our side often times have so much trouble showing
- 48:40what abortion truly is because when people are face to face
- 48:44with the violence and brutality of abortion, they reject it.
- 48:46So if we can get this message in front of people, they will
- 48:48reject Amendment 3. All right, let's take a look at
- 48:51the ad. Currently live in Missouri.
- 48:53No, on Amendment 3. If she were 12 weeks pregnant or
- 48:59less, basically the width of your hand or smaller, you could
- 49:01basically do the entire procedure with this.
- 49:03But babies this big don't fit through catheters.
- 49:06This side you introduce an instrument called the sulfur
- 49:09clamp and pull. And I do mean hard.
- 49:11And out pops a leg about that big which you put down on the
- 49:13table next to you. Tear out the spine, the
- 49:16intestines, the heart and lungs. Amendment 3 allows brutal
- 49:19abortions like this for all nine months.
- 49:22Vote NO on Amendment 3. All right, so this ad is
- 49:27currently live. There's a $200,000 spend behind
- 49:30it as Noah was sharing. And this ad for less than 40
- 49:34cents, $0.35, Noah $0.35. Seven times you get to get this
- 49:42ad in front of voters in the state of Missouri.
- 49:44So we're going to put up the link here in the description.
- 49:48It's live action victory.org. But I want to, you know, just
- 49:53make take a moment here that these are incredibly
- 49:56consequential amendments. This would radically change the
- 50:01state of Missouri and the state of Florida.
- 50:04And even more than that, if these amendments pass, they
- 50:09represent a galvanizing for the pro abortion side that has never
- 50:15since seen before. What this represents for the
- 50:18political future of the movement should sober us.
- 50:22Because if these amendments pass, the narrative will be that
- 50:26the pro-life side is a losing side.
- 50:28And Republican lawmakers who are maybe already squishy on life
- 50:33and already not personally strong on life will use the
- 50:37failure of these amendments as justifications for them not
- 50:40being pro-life as politicians. This has already happened after
- 50:45the loss in Ohio and in other states.
- 50:48And you see Republican candidates right now,
- 50:52tragically, former President Trump pointing at these losses
- 50:55as justifications for him not being pro-life and not standing
- 50:59up for life. And so it's very important that
- 51:01we do our very best to win in these states.
- 51:04Of course, the work to change hearts and minds is going to go
- 51:06on regardless of what happens in these states politically, but it
- 51:10makes it that much harder. The law is a teacher.
- 51:13And if the law is profoundly unjust, permitting the killing
- 51:17of even full term infants in these formerly pro-life or more
- 51:22pro-life than pro abortion states like Florida, this has
- 51:25big consequences too on our work to change hearts and minds.
- 51:29Noah, do you have any final thoughts you want to share with
- 51:31folks as the executive director of Live Action Victims?
- 51:34And then I know I'm going to let you go because you've got a
- 51:36whole lot of work to do that you're working on.
- 51:38But thank you so much for joining to to share these
- 51:40special announcements with the podcast.
- 51:43Here's all I'll say. You know, I mean, today we're
- 51:45talking. It's the middle of October.
- 51:47You know, the election's about 3 weeks away.
- 51:48It is not too late. You know, so many people make
- 51:52decisions about how they're going to vote, especially on
- 51:54more challenging issues like ballot questions.
- 51:56And the last two weeks, one week, 2 day, one day hour,
- 52:00right? A lot of people, they make these
- 52:02decisions late and how they're going to vote.
- 52:04So now is the time. It's like, I just thought I'm,
- 52:06I'm so excited for every partner I talked to because we are
- 52:09making a difference in these states.
- 52:11And more than any other political battle this year, this
- 52:14will directly mean children alive or children killed.
- 52:17So it's like I, I so appreciate being on with you, Lila.
- 52:20And you know, at the end of the day, victory needs to be
- 52:23organized, right? And so it's like that's what
- 52:24we're focused on. Live Action Victory is
- 52:26organizing this victory to protect children across the
- 52:29country, but especially in these next few weeks in Florida and
- 52:31Missouri. Thank you, Noah, and I know you
- 52:33are just getting started. Thank you so much for the
- 52:36amazing work you do over at Live Action.
- 52:37And now is the Executive Director of Live Action Victory.
- 52:40And we're going to continue to shout this from the rooftops and
- 52:43work towards that victory coming up here in just three weeks.
- 52:46Thanks for joining the podcast. Thank you.
- 52:50All right, guys, so just to wrap up here, this is obviously so
- 52:53important and I really appreciate everyone listening.
- 52:55We're going to look at the chat real quick.
- 52:57John Henry, thank you for tuning in here.
- 52:59He's saying praying for Beverly Williams.
- 53:01Thank you, thank you. Please continue to pray for
- 53:04Beverly Williams. Also, John H says excellent ad
- 53:07from live action, Very effective.
- 53:09So sad the GOP won't do ads like this.
- 53:11Bunch of cowards. I agree.
- 53:14I mean, it's tragic that that's true.
- 53:16I think because of the people in power right now in the GOP, they
- 53:20are not leaning into the fight on abortion.
- 53:22They're leaning away from it. And what that means that that
- 53:24there is that there are millions of lives that are left on the
- 53:27line, that are left in danger. And these are children's lives
- 53:30who cannot vote, who cannot organize, who cannot speak for
- 53:33themselves. So I want to thank everyone for
- 53:35listening. And I want to urge you, please,
- 53:37if you do one thing today for the cause of life, if you could
- 53:40go to liveactionvictory.org and make the most generous donation
- 53:45that you can. I don't usually ask for
- 53:46donations live on this podcast, but I'm going to do this now.
- 53:50Please go to liveactionvictory.org.
- 53:53Remember, just $0.35 helps reach 7 voters with these incredibly
- 53:58proven mind changing ads in the state of Missouri. 42 cents
- 54:02reaches someone in the state, state of Florida, Please go and
- 54:06donate the largest amount that you can to
- 54:08liveactionvictory.org. Every single cent you donate is
- 54:11going to go directly to get these ads in front of as many
- 54:14people as possible in the states of Florida and Missouri.
- 54:18Like Noah was saying, these are winnable fights.
- 54:21No one Amendment 4 and no one amendment three.
- 54:23We need to win in these states. So please go now to
- 54:27liveactionvictory.org and be part of the victory in these
- 54:30states to help protect lives. You can go to Live Action
- 54:34victory.org and make the largest donation that you can to help
- 54:37save lives in the state of Missouri and the state of
- 54:41Florida. You know, I think sometimes when
- 54:44I look at the landscape of what we are fighting, the fight can
- 54:49look very dark. It is a fact that we are
- 54:52outspent right now. It is a fact that the pro
- 54:55abortion side has tremendous institutional support.
- 55:00The GOP has all but abandoned life, and this is more recent in
- 55:04the last two years. But I am profoundly hopeful
- 55:08because I see every single day people, when they get access,
- 55:12when they are shown the truth about abortion, I do see them
- 55:15change their minds. We see this all the time at Live
- 55:19Action. We are outspout, we are
- 55:21outnumbered, but the human heart is the same.
- 55:24And I think the human heart is not made for supporting the
- 55:28destruction of children, of innocence.
- 55:30It's made for good. It's made to do good.
- 55:33And so while we are wounded and our intellects can be clouded
- 55:35and we can be confused, the truth has a power to Pierce
- 55:38through all of that and to inspire people to do what's
- 55:41right. And so you have the power in
- 55:43your hands today to help us in this mission.
- 55:46You can partner with us in this mission.
- 55:47This is an opportunity of a lifetime for you to not just
- 55:50help save a life, but to potentially save millions of
- 55:54future lives in states like Florida and Missouri.
- 55:58And every single dollar counts right now.
- 56:01So please go to liveactionvictory.org.
- 56:04Donate the most that you can to reach hundreds of thousands and
- 56:08millions with your support of voters in these states so that
