- 0:01Speaker 1: Do you have full confidence in what RFK Junior is
- 0:04Speaker 1: doing well.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I didn't get to watch the hearings today, but he's
- 0:07Speaker 2: a very good person's and he means very well, and
- 0:11Speaker 2: he's got some little different ideas. I guarantee a lot
- 0:13Speaker 2: of the people at this table, like RFK Junior and
- 0:15Speaker 2: I do. It's not your standard talk, I would say that,
- 0:19Speaker 2: and that has to do with medical and vaccines. But
- 0:22Speaker 2: if you look at what's going on in the world
- 0:24Speaker 2: with help and look at this country also with regard
- 0:26Speaker 2: to health, I like the fact that he's different.
- 0:29Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Good Saturday morning to you, Ben Ferguson with you, and
- 0:36Speaker 4: these are some of the stories that you may have
- 0:38Speaker 4: missed that we talked about this week on the forty
- 0:40Speaker 4: seven Morning Update. First up, big names coming to Capitol Hill,
- 0:44Speaker 4: as James Comber is also sharing what he described as
- 0:47Speaker 4: unprecedented details surrounding the Biden autopen investigation.
- 0:53Speaker 5: What did he reveal? I have it all for you.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Also, Donald Trump going after cartel who have been designated
- 1:01Speaker 4: as terrorist organizations.
- 1:03Speaker 5: In a way we haven't seen in my lifetime.
- 1:05Speaker 4: The United States has significantly ramped up its military presence
- 1:10Speaker 4: in the Southern Caribbean and now there are seven to
- 1:13Speaker 4: eight warships, including a nuclear powered submarine, on top of
- 1:19Speaker 4: thousands of US military personnel.
- 1:22Speaker 5: So what is this all about. I'm going to explain
- 1:25Speaker 5: it to you.
- 1:25Speaker 4: The why is Maduro terrified after we've up the bounty
- 1:29Speaker 4: on him as a narco terrorist. But before we get
- 1:32Speaker 4: to that, I want to talk to you about my
- 1:34Speaker 4: friends at Kirk Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago, I
- 1:39Speaker 4: got my new order of silver. Now I'm investing in
- 1:42Speaker 4: silver right now because the pricing on it is amazing
- 1:45Speaker 4: and the upside well, it's real. I actually have a
- 1:49Speaker 4: one hundred ounce silver bar. It is actually really cool.
- 1:54Speaker 4: It's really heavy because it's one hundred ounces. But I
- 1:57Speaker 4: also know that I bought it at the right place
- 2:00Speaker 4: and I wasn't paying massive up charges on quote rare
- 2:04Speaker 4: or special coins and then when you go to sell them,
- 2:07Speaker 4: you take away all of your earning potential. Why do
- 2:10Speaker 4: they do it this way at Kurt Elliott Because they
- 2:13Speaker 4: have transparent pricing up front. It's very simple. You pay
- 2:17Speaker 4: eight percent when you buy. And here's what matters to
- 2:20Speaker 4: you the most. Nothing when you sell. There are no
- 2:24Speaker 4: hidden fees ever with Kurt Elliott Precious Metals. This is
- 2:29Speaker 4: the reason why I recommend them. It's not just about investing,

- 3:49Speaker 4: Ben It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts
- 3:52Speaker 4: right now.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Story number one, the Joe.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Biden autopen investigation, continues to heat up the headlines, describing
- 4:00Speaker 4: exactly what the game plan is of those that were
- 4:02Speaker 4: around Joe Biden and just how massive the cover up
- 4:06Speaker 4: actually is. Whether it's the AP saying quote Joe Biden
- 4:10Speaker 4: ad invokes fifth to decline testimony and investigation, or the
- 4:14Speaker 4: Guardian Republican leading inquiry into Biden's autopen use has digitally
- 4:19Speaker 4: signed letters, or even the Daily Beast James Comber announces
- 4:23Speaker 4: new investigation into Biden over the use of the autopen. Well,
- 4:27Speaker 4: we now have new information as James Comer sat down
- 4:31Speaker 4: with Fox News Sunday, and here is part of what
- 4:34Speaker 4: he had to say about it. The assessment that Biden
- 4:37Speaker 4: staffords are deliberately refusing to answer questions about the autopen
- 4:43Speaker 4: use and providing extraordinary levels of obfuscation. Now James Comer
- 4:48Speaker 4: seems to be really hammering in on the facts and
- 4:51Speaker 4: continuing to press the investigation into whether Biden used an
- 4:54Speaker 4: autopen to sign documents like pardons, raising major concern about
- 5:00Speaker 4: who may have truly been in charge during the final days, weeks,
- 5:04Speaker 4: or months of the Joe Biden presidency. Now in May
- 5:08Speaker 4: of this year, comer initiated a fresh probe. He issued
- 5:11Speaker 4: letters to key aids, including many of those close to
- 5:15Speaker 4: the president in non political roles, for example, like Biden's physician,
- 5:20Speaker 4: doctor Kevin O'Connor, and warning of subpoenas if they don't cooperate.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Fast forward to June of this year, testimony from several
- 5:29Speaker 4: raised major red flags, some admitting limited direct interaction with
- 5:33Speaker 4: Biden and no insight into the autopen approval process, suggesting
- 5:38Speaker 4: a total lack of transparency or oversight. And then the
- 5:44Speaker 4: Fifth Amendment invocations continued. On July the sixteenth, a former
- 5:49Speaker 4: aide to First Lady Joe Biden invoked the Fifth Amendment
- 5:53Speaker 4: during his Oversight Committee appearance, becoming the second such individual
- 5:58Speaker 4: in the probe to do so. Responded by stating that
- 6:01Speaker 4: the public is concerned about unaccountable decision making within the
- 6:05Speaker 4: White House. In other words, who was actually in charge.
- 6:09Speaker 4: The bottom line is clear. Representative Comerce asserts he now
- 6:12Speaker 4: has unprecedented evidence of a cover up involving the autopen
- 6:17Speaker 4: use and Biden's cognitive decline. Now, this is what he
- 6:22Speaker 4: had to say on Fox Sunday Morning.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Take a listen.
- 6:26Speaker 1: This week, the House Oversight Committee is set to continue
- 6:28Speaker 1: its investigation into Joe Biden's mental fitness during his presidency
- 6:32Speaker 1: when former White House Deputy Assistant Andrew Bates sits down
- 6:36Speaker 1: for an interview on Friday. Former White House Press Secretary
- 6:40Speaker 1: Kareeine Jean Pierre, and former White House Chief of Staff
- 6:43Speaker 1: Jeff Designs are also slated to peer before the committee
- 6:47Speaker 1: in coming weeks. Joining me now with more on his
- 6:50Speaker 1: investigation into former President Biden. In the chairman is the
- 6:54Speaker 1: chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Congressman James Comer. It's
- 6:57Speaker 1: great to have you with us this morning.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Welcome.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I want to get the latest on the investigation, Congressman,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but also what we've heard so far, Key figures, taking
- 7:06Speaker 1: the fifth Key figures that day after day said that
- 7:09Speaker 1: Biden was totally fit and ready to do the job.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now saying they really didn't spend that much time with him.
- 7:16Speaker 1: The testimony doesn't add up with what we saw. Something
- 7:21Speaker 1: is awry here, Something's definitely awry.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Look when you have Ian SAMs, who was the face
- 7:27Speaker 6: of the White House response to the very damaging report
- 7:33Speaker 6: that said that Joe Biden was a forgetful old man.
- 7:37Speaker 6: He was the face of the White House response to
- 7:40Speaker 6: our investigation Byron Donalds and myself as well as all
- 7:43Speaker 6: the members of the House oversycmvitia, when we found that
- 7:45Speaker 6: China had in fact wired money to LLC's owned by
- 7:49Speaker 6: Biden family members. He was the one that would always
- 7:52Speaker 6: respond and see he talked to Joe Biden. Joe Biden
- 7:55Speaker 6: was vibrant. Joe Biden did not do this, The famili
- 7:57Speaker 6: sayesn't and then come to find out when we put
- 8:00Speaker 6: under oath, he admits, well, I only saw Joe Biden
- 8:03Speaker 6: two times over a two year period. That's unprecedented. We're
- 8:07Speaker 6: trying to get to the bottom of who was operating
- 8:09Speaker 6: the autopin. I think what you're gonna see iss unless
- 8:12Speaker 6: John Pierre and some of these others come in and
- 8:15Speaker 6: and you know, tell us more. It's becoming very apparent
- 8:19Speaker 6: that Joe Biden really wasn't the one in command at
- 8:23Speaker 6: the end of his presidency. And that's important because you're
- 8:25Speaker 6: talking about thousands of pardons and dozens of executive orders
- 8:29Speaker 6: that were signed with that autopen, and it appears without
- 8:32Speaker 6: President Biden's knowledge.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Very clearly James Comer sharing unprecedented details surrounding the Biden
- 8:38Speaker 4: out open investigation and also what the White House is
- 8:42Speaker 4: doing to.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Hold people accountable as well.
- 8:44Speaker 4: This is exactly what so many Americans voted for and
- 8:47Speaker 4: why I think there's many in Washington right now, in
- 8:50Speaker 4: the Deep State that are very concerned about what's happening now.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Story number two.
- 8:55Speaker 4: President Donald Trump made it very clear when he was
- 8:57Speaker 4: running for president and backing it up now that if
- 9:00Speaker 4: you are in the drug trade, he considers you a
- 9:04Speaker 4: dangerous individual that is a member of a terrorist organization,
- 9:08Speaker 4: and he's not going to allow Americans to die at
- 9:11Speaker 4: the hands of fetnel and other drugs that have been
- 9:14Speaker 4: pouring into this country. Now, lots of those drugs have
- 9:17Speaker 4: been stopped because we've secured the border, but the President
- 9:20Speaker 4: says that's not enough. And now we're seeing what is
- 9:24Speaker 4: next on the present's agenda. The United States has significantly
- 9:29Speaker 4: ramped up its military presence in the Southern Caribbean. We
- 9:32Speaker 4: are now learning this started in late August and now
- 9:37Speaker 4: in two September, as the US Navy has deployed around
- 9:40Speaker 4: seven to eight warships, including very large cruisers, amphibious assault vessels,
- 9:48Speaker 4: and at least one nuclear powered submarine.
- 9:52Speaker 5: That's not all.
- 9:53Speaker 4: More than four thousand US personnel, including about twenty two
- 9:57Speaker 4: hundred marines, are now operating in the area. This build
- 10:02Speaker 4: up includes surveillance aircraft and even a US spyplane. We're
- 10:06Speaker 4: being told the stated objective is actually very clear combat
- 10:12Speaker 4: drug cartels, and the Trump administration has framed this deployment
- 10:16Speaker 4: as part of a broader campaign against Latin American drug
- 10:20Speaker 4: trafficking and criminal networks. Officials have labeled Venezuelan President Maduro
- 10:25Speaker 4: as a narco trafficker, boosting the reward for his capture
- 10:29Speaker 4: now to fifty million dollars, and designating his alleged cartel
- 10:35Speaker 4: of the SUNS a terrorist organization. Meduro's reaction has been fierce.
- 10:42Speaker 4: He's armed and mobilized and defiant. President Maduro taking strong countermeasures,
- 10:48Speaker 4: deploying troops along the coast and Columbia border. He's also
- 10:52Speaker 4: called on citizens to join civilian militias and warned he
- 10:56Speaker 4: would quote constitutionally declare republic in all if the US
- 11:01Speaker 4: forces attack Maduro and other Venezuelan officials are now accusing
- 11:05Speaker 4: the US of using anti drug rhetoric as a pretext
- 11:09Speaker 4: for regime change and gunboat diplomacy. Here's more about the
- 11:14Speaker 4: move from Fox News.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Well, the US is deploying destroyers and thousands of marines
- 11:20Speaker 7: towards Venezuela as President Trump looks to crack down on
- 11:23Speaker 7: Kurtels and the Maduda regime. They could reportedly reach the
- 11:27Speaker 7: country's coast as soon as tomorrow. Here to discuss is
- 11:30Speaker 7: dissident project speaker and an immigrant from Venezuela, Jorque Galicia,
- 11:34Speaker 7: along with frager U political commentator and Venezuelan political refugee
- 11:39Speaker 7: Franklin Carmargo. So great to have you both on. I'm
- 11:43Speaker 7: going to start with you, Corke. What is the reaction
- 11:46Speaker 7: to Venezuelans. I know you guys are in close contact
- 11:49Speaker 7: with people who are living there right now. Over seventy
- 11:53Speaker 7: eighty percent of the country voted for the opposition party
- 11:57Speaker 7: against Madudo. How are they feeling in this moment, knowing
- 12:00Speaker 7: that these destroyers are coming so close to the Venezuelan coast.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Well, first of all, Rachel, thank you for having me again.
- 12:06Speaker 8: I think how many people in Venezuela are extremely optimistic.
- 12:11Speaker 6: They cannot really be loud about it because they're facing
- 12:13Speaker 6: a terrible criminal regime.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 7: I spoke to one of the opposition activists who was
- 12:21Speaker 7: holed up in that embassy for over a year before
- 12:24Speaker 7: she was rescued, and I asked her and she said,
- 12:26Speaker 7: it's a silent euphoria. And so while they're quietly celebrating
- 12:32Speaker 7: what President Trump is doing right now in Venezuelan and
- 12:36Speaker 7: frankly for the whole Western hemisphere Franklin, meanwhile, Venezuelans who
- 12:41Speaker 7: are living abroad are putting out the most remarkable TikTok
- 12:45Speaker 7: Instagram videos I've ever seen. You're seeing the destroyers coming
- 12:49Speaker 7: into the ocean and the planes coming over in Ymca playing,
- 12:53Speaker 7: and just the euphoria from the dissident community who's abroad
- 12:58Speaker 7: is so palpable and thankful to the administration. Give us
- 13:02Speaker 7: more context to that.
- 13:03Speaker 9: Yes, the Venezuelan people recognizes that the Truma administration is
- 13:07Speaker 9: probably one of the biggest allies that freedom fighters Venezuelan
- 13:11Speaker 9: freedom fighters have had over the last twenty five years.
- 13:14Speaker 9: Is someone who has recognized that Maduro is not just
- 13:17Speaker 9: a threat to South America's not just a threat to
- 13:20Speaker 9: Venezuelan's but it's also a threat to the American people.
- 13:23Speaker 9: And I think it is the most important thing to
- 13:25Speaker 9: mention right now when we talk about Nicolas Maduru, when
- 13:28Speaker 9: we talk about Venezuelan regime, we're not just talking about
- 13:31Speaker 9: a government that we dislike or a dictatorship, a soft dictatorship.
- 13:35Speaker 9: We're talking about a narco state, a government that produced
- 13:40Speaker 9: over twenty five percent of the entire cocaine that is
- 13:44Speaker 9: produced in the entire world. It's also a regime that
- 13:48Speaker 9: sent Trendagua, the same criminal organization that killed, for example,
- 13:53Speaker 9: Lake in Riley, or that killed Joseline Nongarai. So there
- 13:57Speaker 9: is a need for the American pain, for the well
- 14:00Speaker 9: being of the American people in the Western hemisphere, to
- 14:05Speaker 9: have a regime changed to stop these cartels. But Venezuela's
- 14:10Speaker 9: recognized that Trump is an ally that the US government
- 14:14Speaker 9: is probably the biggest hope that we currently have.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Now you hear the stats there, and it's very clear
- 14:20Speaker 4: that not only is this in essence a failed state,
- 14:22Speaker 4: it's a state where the people rose up against Maduro
- 14:25Speaker 4: and he just clung to power anyway. And now we
- 14:28Speaker 4: know that he is nothing but a narco terrorist. It
- 14:31Speaker 4: is a terrorist organization that he's a part of, and
- 14:33Speaker 4: his money is coming directly from the cocaine that he
- 14:37Speaker 4: is delivering to the world. Yet, Venezuela's president is now
- 14:41Speaker 4: accusing the United States of seeking regime change in his
- 14:43Speaker 4: country and the military deployment that has happened now, it
- 14:47Speaker 4: was authorized by President Trump in a simple effort to
- 14:50Speaker 4: disrupt drug cartel activity. It's part of the White Houses.
- 14:53Speaker 4: They described it his broader border policy. Maduro said the
- 14:57Speaker 4: build up is an intervention in his quote country affairs,
- 15:00Speaker 4: saying this to the people, they are seeking regime change
- 15:04Speaker 4: through military threat, and that's where he also wants the
- 15:07Speaker 4: rest of the world to believe. Maduro added, quote, Venezuela
- 15:11Speaker 4: is confronting the biggest threat that has ever seen on
- 15:14Speaker 4: our continent in the last one hundred years, and saying
- 15:18Speaker 4: a situation like this has never been seen. Maduro said
- 15:22Speaker 4: Venezuela won't bow to threats and that it was super prepared.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Now the Trump administration is accused again Maduau of engaging
- 15:29Speaker 4: in drug trafficking, going so far as to announce that
- 15:33Speaker 4: fifty million dollar reward for information leading to his arrest
- 15:36Speaker 4: and his conviction. The fifty million dollars that is not
- 15:40Speaker 4: a little amount of money when it comes to how
- 15:42Speaker 4: much we're willing to pay as a nation. This is
- 15:45Speaker 4: one of the biggest rewards we've ever had. Take a
- 15:48Speaker 4: listen to this from Fox as well.
- 15:50Speaker 2: People have wanted to do this for years.
- 15:52Speaker 8: President Trump putting war back in the War on drugs,
- 15:55Speaker 8: designating eight drug cartels as foreign terrorist organization.
- 16:00Speaker 10: It allows us to now target what they're operating and
- 16:02Speaker 10: to use other elements of American power, intelligence agencies, the
- 16:06Speaker 10: Department of Defense, whatever to target these groups.
- 16:08Speaker 5: If we have an opportunity to do it, we.
- 16:10Speaker 10: Have to start treating them as armed terrorist organizations, not
- 16:13Speaker 10: simply drug dealing organizations.
- 16:16Speaker 8: That changes the battlefield. Cartel members become enemy combatants and
- 16:20Speaker 8: allow the use of military assets. The question is how
- 16:25Speaker 8: the Navy intercepting ships carrying narcotics special operations targeting cartel
- 16:30Speaker 8: leaders or drone strikes on drug labs in Mexico.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Mexico probably doesn't want that, but we have to do
- 16:36Speaker 2: what's right.
- 16:38Speaker 8: Publicly, President Claudia Scheinbaum says Mexico will cooperate, but claims
- 16:42Speaker 8: the US plans, no boots on the ground, nothing that it.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Has nothing to do with Mexican territory. It has to
- 16:48Speaker 2: do with their country.
- 16:50Speaker 3: It does not involve our territory.
- 16:53Speaker 8: Yet, most cocaine goes through Mexico and it produces most
- 16:56Speaker 8: of the fentanyl that killed more than two hundred and
- 16:58Speaker 8: sixty five Americans during President Biden's term.
- 17:02Speaker 7: These are armed organizations that have their own militaries.
- 17:06Speaker 9: I absolutely believe that we need to take action. It's
- 17:10Speaker 9: what type of action are we going to take.
- 17:12Speaker 8: But just because you don't hear about an operation doesn't
- 17:15Speaker 8: mean it didn't happen.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Now.
- 17:17Speaker 8: One of the name cartels is the Venezuelan gang Trende Agua.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Last week, the US slept a fifty million dollar bounty.
- 17:23Speaker 8: I'm President Nicholas Maduro accusing him of using it to
- 17:27Speaker 8: help traffic narcotics into the US.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Let's just stop there for a second and also just
- 17:32Speaker 4: recognize something that was said there. Under the Biden administration,
- 17:35Speaker 4: more than a quarter million Americans died from fetnol an
- 17:38Speaker 4: overdose from fetnol. You think about that number, and then
- 17:42Speaker 4: you think about these cartels. They've engaged in historic violence
- 17:46Speaker 4: and tear throughout our hemisphere and around the globe. They
- 17:49Speaker 4: have destabilized the economies and internal security of countries while
- 17:54Speaker 4: also flooding the United States with deadly drugs, violent criminals,
- 17:58Speaker 4: and vicious gangs. That is what the Chief Pentagon spokesman,
- 18:02Speaker 4: Sean Parnell said during a news conference this week. He
- 18:06Speaker 4: also said this it requires a whole of government effort
- 18:09Speaker 4: and through coordination with regional partners, the Department of Defense
- 18:13Speaker 4: will undoubtedly play an important role in meeting the Presence
- 18:16Speaker 4: objective to eliminate the ability of these cartels to threaten
- 18:20Speaker 4: the territory, safety, and the security of the United States
- 18:24Speaker 4: and its people. As a matter of security and policy,
- 18:27Speaker 4: we do not speculate on future operations now. What is
- 18:32Speaker 4: very clear is the Presidence saying I'm not waiting around
- 18:35Speaker 4: for nations to act. I'm going to act now because
- 18:39Speaker 4: it's important that we protect and defend America's homeland and
- 18:43Speaker 4: make sure that while he's present, another quarter million Americans
- 18:46Speaker 4: don't lose their lives to fetnal overdoses, and that doesn't
- 18:50Speaker 4: count all of those that are killed by cartel members
- 18:53Speaker 4: and the violent gangs that are in America as well.
