- 2:05Speaker 6: listening to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:08Speaker 6: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here
- 2:13Speaker 6: we go. I was working out. I was talking to
- 2:19Speaker 6: a buddy of mine, and I was telling him something
- 2:22Speaker 6: that Bishop td Jakes told me one time. I heard
- 2:27Speaker 6: him say it. He said, I would hate to die
- 2:32Speaker 6: and not do the thing that I was born to do.
- 2:38Speaker 6: I would hate to die and not do the theme
- 2:43Speaker 6: that I was born to do. Man, oh man, oh man, man.
- 2:48Speaker 6: That hit me like a like a like a pile
- 2:51Speaker 6: of bricks man, because it made me feel so grateful
- 2:58Speaker 6: that God has allowed me to live my life this
- 3:02Speaker 6: way now. And I'm talking about grateful for all of it,
- 3:08Speaker 6: the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I have
- 3:12Speaker 6: had all of them. The person you see today. It
- 3:18Speaker 6: ain't always who I was. It was on the inside
- 3:20Speaker 6: of me, but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word.
- 3:25Speaker 6: It hadn't been bought out. It was in here, but
- 3:29Speaker 6: it was under development. Who I am today was a process.
- 3:35Speaker 6: But like I said before, don't trip. He ain't through
- 3:40Speaker 6: with me yet. Even today, I'm still an imperfect soldier
- 3:46Speaker 6: for Christ. Today. I still fall short oftentimes. But I'll
- 3:53Speaker 6: tell you what, I'm ever grateful for the life I have.
- 3:58Speaker 6: And you know what, I want to courage everybody today
- 4:02Speaker 6: to explore your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Why would you not want to find out, discover, or
- 4:19Speaker 6: know what it is God got for you? Why would
- 4:24Speaker 6: you not want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Now, as I ask you this.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Question, I want you to know that the devil is busy,
- 4:36Speaker 6: that he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this,
- 4:39Speaker 6: I already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:42Speaker 6: that's easy for you to say, but I didn't got
- 4:45Speaker 6: myself in this situation right here. You ain't nothing too
- 4:48Speaker 6: hard for God, nothing nothing, And see so as you
- 4:55Speaker 6: listen to me, try to get your mind open to this.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Why would you not want to explore all of your
- 5:04Speaker 6: life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And I'm talking
- 5:08Speaker 6: about from right where you are right now. I'm not
- 5:12Speaker 6: asking you to change. I'm not asking you to do anything.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I'm telling you this is a fact that God can
- 5:19Speaker 6: get you from right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:35Speaker 6: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:40Speaker 6: talking about in your life.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You know you.
- 5:42Speaker 6: I missed the lottery, I missed my ride. They fired me.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people.
- 5:51Speaker 6: People just miss theay self to death. If you've been
- 5:55Speaker 6: all in missus, God can get you from right where
- 5:58Speaker 6: you are. God a home run hitter. I'm here to
- 6:02Speaker 6: tell you that he's a home run hitter. He's a
- 6:05Speaker 6: put him over the wall whenever he want to, all
- 6:07Speaker 6: the time. And you can be a recipient of some
- 6:10Speaker 6: of these home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand.
- 6:13Speaker 6: But you got to swing. Now, listen to me. You've
- 6:16Speaker 6: got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to
- 6:19Speaker 6: stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He won't
- 6:23Speaker 6: hold you down about it if you don't hold yourself
- 6:25Speaker 6: down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 6:28Speaker 6: The devil is busy. So what the devil do is
- 6:30Speaker 6: He make you think you ain't worthy. He make you
- 6:33Speaker 6: think that you've done something so despicable that you can't
- 6:36Speaker 6: come back from it.
- 6:37Speaker 2: He makes you feel like you so low you can't
- 6:40Speaker 2: go up high.
- 6:41Speaker 6: He knock you down and make you feel like you've
- 6:42Speaker 6: been knocked down hard than anybody else.
- 6:44Speaker 2: You can't get up.
- 6:45Speaker 6: He rolled you so deep down in that ditch you
- 6:47Speaker 6: can't see over the edge. God can come get you
- 6:51Speaker 6: from no matter where you are. I'm telling you, man,
- 6:55Speaker 6: you ain't in no hold too deep for God. Magic
- 6:59Speaker 6: Johnson to tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't
- 7:02Speaker 6: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 7:05Speaker 6: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 7:07Speaker 6: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I can
- 7:11Speaker 6: name you some people. Bishop Jakes can tell you that.
- 7:14Speaker 6: I could tell you. Kenneth Olmah can tell you that.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Bishop Kenneth Omar I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 7:19Speaker 6: Franklin can tell you that. Donny mcclerklin can tell you that.
- 7:22Speaker 6: I just know some people personally man that then been
- 7:25Speaker 6: in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell you about it.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 7:32Speaker 6: hole so deep.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I bet you. Paula Dean can tell you about it. See.
- 7:38Speaker 2: But but you know what, then here we.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Go see see see you know, see we don't like
- 7:44Speaker 6: to talk about that because now we want everybody to
- 7:46Speaker 6: pay extra hard for some mistakes they made when clearly
- 7:50Speaker 6: an excuse.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Me for being a new Christian.
- 7:52Speaker 6: But there is a prayer that I've been saying since
- 7:54Speaker 6: I was a little bitty boy, and it took me
- 7:56Speaker 6: till I was a grown man to understand it. Forgive
- 7:59Speaker 6: us our true us passes as we forgive those who
- 8:02Speaker 6: trust pass against us. So see, it ain't my job
- 8:06Speaker 6: to hold nobody down, to keep my knee on somebody's neck.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Who am I.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here, probably today.
- 8:15Speaker 6: See So all this you holding people down with the
- 8:18Speaker 6: way you feel, inviot them. And she shouldn't have said this,
- 8:21Speaker 6: and she'll never get it. I'll never support this again. Man,
- 8:24Speaker 6: Get up, get up and get real.
- 8:26Speaker 2: You for real.
- 8:27Speaker 6: You think you ain't finn need forgiveness real soon you
- 8:30Speaker 6: ain't finna make a diabolical mistake in your life.
- 8:32Speaker 2: You don't think you are.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I have thousands of them, probably gonna make a few
- 8:37Speaker 6: hundred more for I get up out of here. So
- 8:40Speaker 6: I've decided to be in a forgiving business because I
- 8:44Speaker 6: want God to forgive. My trust passes as I forgive
- 8:47Speaker 6: those who trustpass against me, you understand.
- 8:51Speaker 2: See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Get I get tired of talking aston to people man
- 8:57Speaker 6: supposed to be saved and talking about dear Christians.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I want that type of religion. Man, I ain't in
- 9:01Speaker 2: that no more. I ain't in that.
- 9:02Speaker 6: You can call me wrong if you want to say
- 9:04Speaker 6: it how you want to say. I ain't in that
- 9:06Speaker 6: no more. I ain't in all that. You can feel
- 9:08Speaker 6: how you want to feel about me. But I got
- 9:10Speaker 6: proof that God work in my life.
- 9:12Speaker 2: You know, I can't.
- 9:13Speaker 6: Hardly get it out Sometime when people ask me something
- 9:15Speaker 6: about depot on the inside of me, about my soul
- 9:18Speaker 6: and how I used to be, and my journey and
- 9:20Speaker 6: my trip. Because people don't know the trip I've been on.
- 9:23Speaker 6: You may have been on one worse than me. But
- 9:25Speaker 6: you know what, you ain't in.
- 9:26Speaker 2: A whole too deep. God can't get you out of.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Man, I wish I want people to remember that, man,
- 9:31Speaker 6: God is a redeemer, He the great I am. So
- 9:35Speaker 6: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking for?
- 9:39Speaker 6: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 9:41Speaker 6: asking for nothing. Quit asking God to get you out
- 9:43Speaker 6: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 9:46Speaker 6: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 9:48Speaker 6: You keep asking to get out of debt. You keep
- 9:50Speaker 6: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 9:52Speaker 6: what you asking God for?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize
- 9:57Speaker 2: here listening to the seve ladies and gentlemen. You know what.
- 10:05Speaker 6: The time has come for us to realize that, man o,
- 10:11Speaker 6: man o man. How many times can God give us
- 10:15Speaker 6: the opportunity and we not take advantage of it. I
- 10:19Speaker 6: want everybody today to take this gift that has been
- 10:23Speaker 6: given to you, and they call it's a gift.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That's why they call it the present.
- 10:29Speaker 6: What He's given to you today, and I want you
- 10:31Speaker 6: to take full advantage of it. Start with some gratitude
- 10:35Speaker 6: and I'm talking to myself. Start with some gratitude because
- 10:38Speaker 6: I've had a series of things go wrong lately. But
- 10:42Speaker 6: sometimes you got to praise him and thank him even
- 10:46Speaker 6: in the middle of it, because his track record for
- 10:49Speaker 6: me surviving those tough times is one thousand percent. I
- 10:53Speaker 6: have no doubt that this too shall pass, and I'm
- 10:57Speaker 6: gonna be strong with it.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Man.

- 22:23Speaker 10: from Tracy and Syracuse. Tracy writes, I was upset with
- 22:27Speaker 10: my sister and I called her a B word. My
- 22:31Speaker 10: toddler told her what I called her, and she told
- 22:34Speaker 10: my child that she's a little be word.
- 22:36Speaker 1: For repeating it, my.
- 22:38Speaker 10: Sister won't apologize, so now we're not speaking. How could
- 22:41Speaker 10: she say that to my child?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Wow? How could she see?
- 22:47Speaker 6: Your sister don't understand the number one gangster rule, be
- 22:51Speaker 6: wary of the person who brings the message to you.
- 22:56Speaker 10: Uh huh.
- 22:57Speaker 6: And that's what your sister did cause you to already
- 23:01Speaker 6: was offended. And then she thinking your little girl trying
- 23:04Speaker 6: to be messy? How old is the baby?
- 23:06Speaker 10: And she didn't say a toddler though.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Ain't nobody got a problem with the toddler talking like that.
- 23:15Speaker 6: But then the taler got it from the mama.
- 23:18Speaker 13: Yeah, kids are spunge just they soak up.
- 23:21Speaker 10: But she's wrong for that.
- 23:24Speaker 6: Yeah, she was wrong for attack before attacking the toddler
- 23:26Speaker 6: because off taler. You know exactly where that tddler got
- 23:29Speaker 6: it from. Correct, that's not it. That ain't that ain't
- 23:32Speaker 6: wah wah, that ain't mill that ain't you know? That's
- 23:39Speaker 6: yeah specific, So I think what your sister was wrong
- 23:45Speaker 6: for doing that. But now she don't want to apologize
- 23:48Speaker 6: to the to the little girl because she taking it
- 23:50Speaker 6: out on you and she sent the mess. She tried
- 23:53Speaker 6: to hurt you. So she tried to hurt the baby.
- 23:55Speaker 6: That's what that is and it ain't no getting around it.
- 23:58Speaker 6: You might have to slap your sister issue.
- 24:00Speaker 10: Okay, baby, all right? Moving on Colo to Elena and Tacoma.
- 24:08Speaker 10: Elena writes, my neighbor is dating my friend. Yesterday I
- 24:12Speaker 10: saw a female pull up with a bag of food
- 24:14Speaker 10: and she stayed all night. I told my friend the
- 24:19Speaker 10: guy told her it was a door dash delivery. This
- 24:22Speaker 10: is not his first time. Should I set him up
- 24:24Speaker 10: so she can see it for herself?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Wow?
- 24:29Speaker 2: So did.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Because I never heard dough dash. So when dough dash come?
- 24:34Speaker 6: If they tied they stay at your house. They you know,
- 24:42Speaker 6: I just need to know. You need to know how
- 24:44Speaker 6: dough dash work. You's my fifth delivery tonight. Well come
- 24:51Speaker 6: on in and watch a little TV. Take a load
- 24:54Speaker 6: of You're everyone blanket right there. You know, I don't
- 25:01Speaker 6: know how He said do.
- 25:03Speaker 9: Dash though, but I don't know how do dash worked?
- 25:07Speaker 13: You know it's door, door dash, oh door?
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh they come to the door.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Oh you thought it was money? Do dash? Are you really?
- 25:25Speaker 6: I thought you meant hole dash?
- 25:29Speaker 2: My bad? Go ahead, sy all right.
- 25:31Speaker 10: Next this is from Findley and Lake. Charles Finley rights.
- 25:36Speaker 10: My wife was yelling at me about leaving a cup
- 25:39Speaker 10: in the sink, and she said she had to whoop
- 25:41Speaker 10: my But because I know better, I told her she
- 25:46Speaker 10: had me confused with our son because she said no
- 25:50Speaker 10: she didn't. But she said no, she didn't. How do
- 25:52Speaker 10: I stop this disrespect from continuing?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Wow?
- 25:55Speaker 9: Oh you Budy gets your ass about him. Yeah, I'll
- 26:00Speaker 9: tell you what you need to test, and said, first
- 26:03Speaker 9: of all, leave.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Another cup in the sink. That's first.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Let's just get that started to see where we're going
- 26:08Speaker 6: from there, and then you handle it from there. You're
- 26:10Speaker 6: gonna find out if you're gonna get your uh behind.
- 26:13Speaker 6: What about this cup in the sink? That's what I
- 26:16Speaker 6: would at least look into that.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I don't.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's not playing. She's playing zero games. She
- 26:24Speaker 1: tried to washing dishes. Why he can't wash this cup?
- 26:27Speaker 10: Okay, you got me confused with your with our son.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:34Speaker 6: We got to rule at our house though, where you
- 26:35Speaker 6: can't put no cups in the sink. You have to
- 26:38Speaker 6: put it next to the sink cause somebody put something
- 26:40Speaker 6: in there and chip the cup. So we can't do that.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But you don't do dishes anyway.
- 26:46Speaker 2: So I saw a dish washer the other day and
- 26:50Speaker 2: had to open it twice. I didn't even know that's
- 26:51Speaker 2: where it was.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Rich.
- 26:56Speaker 6: This is interesting because she has got cabinetree on the
- 27:00Speaker 6: front of it.
- 27:00Speaker 12: I thought it was the last so you selling it
- 27:06Speaker 12: was the last time you've been in the kitchen, all right,
- 27:11Speaker 12: last one, Steve, This is the last one.
- 27:13Speaker 10: This is from Regina in Detroit. Regina says, one of
- 27:16Speaker 10: my closest friends got married recently, and her husband doesn't
- 27:20Speaker 10: want us to be friends anymore after he found out
- 27:23Speaker 10: that me and his wife pulled around when we were
- 27:26Speaker 10: in our twenties. She's cut me off because of him.
- 27:30Speaker 10: Why would he do that?
- 27:31Speaker 6: Why would he do that? Because he don't want no
- 27:35Speaker 6: more trouble. Oh oh, so if y'all just freez now,
- 27:38Speaker 6: y'all don't remember what y'all did.
- 27:40Speaker 10: That was when they were in their twenties.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Though, you don't remember nothing from your twenties.
- 27:45Speaker 10: Yeah, of course, of course.
- 27:48Speaker 6: Yeah, And so that's what he's saying. No, that ain't cool, y'all.
- 27:51Speaker 6: I don't want y'all hanging out no more because he
- 27:53Speaker 6: don't want to have to deal with wondering what's going on.
- 27:56Speaker 2: So yeah, I understand for selfish reason.
- 27:59Speaker 6: No, that's for jealousy and rights. You're my wife. I
- 28:03Speaker 6: don't want you over there with nobody that you messed
- 28:05Speaker 6: around with, period, what's what's the matter? But but what?
- 28:11Speaker 2: But what said?
- 28:12Speaker 10: Because I'm very closer close friends one of her closest friends.
- 28:16Speaker 2: They was too damn close.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Think they got over it and moved on, Steve.
- 28:22Speaker 9: With all that all on for what is y'all Doing's
- 28:26Speaker 9: I got y'all close, but that's hey, that's too damn close.
- 28:32Speaker 3: A friend.
- 28:33Speaker 5: That's a girl.
- 28:34Speaker 10: I mean, you don't do that.
- 28:35Speaker 2: That was more than friend.
- 28:36Speaker 10: In your twenties. Huh, you don't do the same thing
- 28:39Speaker 10: you used to do in your twenties.
- 28:41Speaker 6: Well, I can take you one thing. I never I
- 28:43Speaker 6: ain't never ever been with one of my friends, one
- 28:47Speaker 6: of your friends. So now, no, why you shouldn't even
- 28:50Speaker 6: have brought that up?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Get bad?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Who told? Oh?
- 28:59Speaker 14: Well, yeah, so that's it. So that's a no, that's
- 29:05Speaker 14: a hard note.
- 29:06Speaker 10: Okay, so she hasn't get new friends?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Now, yeah, we ain't finna do that no more.
- 29:13Speaker 10: So he can just come in and just make that
- 29:15Speaker 10: rule and like that and that's it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Just like that.
- 29:20Speaker 6: I don't see what the okay, ladies, there we go.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Let's stop all this right here. Your man and y'all
- 29:25Speaker 6: getting married. You find out that his so called friend
- 29:30Speaker 6: right now is a female and they used to sleep together,
- 29:33Speaker 6: and you cool with them continuing.
- 29:35Speaker 1: To be friends. It ain't no different, that's different. Standard?
- 29:40Speaker 2: How is it different? Tell me?
- 29:42Speaker 1: Its standard? First of all, we can't do.
- 29:45Speaker 2: They slept together.
- 29:49Speaker 4: They did it.
- 29:50Speaker 2: They fooled around. It's the same.
- 29:54Speaker 1: It's not the same.
- 29:55Speaker 2: And you know, well, okay, first of all, I know
- 29:59Speaker 2: it's not the.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Same, thank you. We know it's a lot.
- 30:05Speaker 14: But I can't condone it, so all right, being a man,
- 30:11Speaker 14: you can't.
- 30:11Speaker 10: All right, thank you, Colo. Coming up at the top
- 30:14Speaker 10: of the hour, we'll have a weekend recap for you
- 30:17Speaker 10: right after this. You're listening to the same Harvey Morning show. Well, guys,
- 30:23Speaker 10: it is Black History Month, whether you like it or not.
- 30:27Speaker 10: And it's Black History Month. Okay, we plan to celebrate
- 30:29Speaker 10: it regardless. But let's go to the headlines first. The
- 30:33Speaker 10: country has been in unrest the past few days over
- 30:37Speaker 10: back to back tragedies in our nation's capital and in Philadelphia.
- 30:41Speaker 10: The biggest tragedy is our commander in chief, Donald Trump.
- 30:46Speaker 10: So let's start with his initial response to the devastating
- 30:49Speaker 10: and avoidable loss of lives in the Potomac River last Wednesday.
- 30:53Speaker 10: Trump told reporters that he has a strong suspicion that
- 30:58Speaker 10: DEEI is the reason for the DC crash. Excuse me, excuse.
- 31:06Speaker 6: Me, that's hold. But their official reports are out now.
- 31:09Speaker 6: The military helicopter was flying above the one hundred foot
- 31:16Speaker 6: limit for helicopters that night. That's officially out.
- 31:21Speaker 10: Okay, they need to pass that along for the president. Oh,
- 31:26Speaker 10: because he also blamed the Biden and Obama administrations. Wow,
- 31:31Speaker 10: for the crash.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:33Speaker 10: He said that the Biden administration thought the Federal Aviation
- 31:37Speaker 10: Administration was too white and insinuated that diversity, equity and
- 31:42Speaker 10: inclusion took jobs from workers that are quote psychologically superior.
- 31:48Speaker 13: Why y'all vote for this man. It's beyond this man, right, Okay?
- 31:53Speaker 10: Basically Donald Pearn said white people are psychologically superior to us,
- 31:58Speaker 10: black people, other minorities as well. It's only been a month.
- 32:02Speaker 10: It's only been a month, guys. And Donald Trump has
- 32:04Speaker 10: already been called the worst president in history.
- 32:08Speaker 9: Yeah, he was that the first time, the first term.
- 32:14Speaker 5: Too.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 32:15Speaker 15: If he won't white people to be, you know, psychologically superior,
- 32:18Speaker 15: he needs to stop talking.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Yeah theory, you're throwing this right out to wonder. I
- 32:27Speaker 6: like him talking, but it just shows, I mean, it
- 32:31Speaker 6: completely exposes his thought process. You're looking at a guy
- 32:36Speaker 6: who can't run again. You're looking at a guy who
- 32:40Speaker 6: is going to do everything in his power to show
- 32:43Speaker 6: his power and he has nothing to lose. He gonna
- 32:46Speaker 6: pardon himself. He got rid of the Justice Department. All
- 32:50Speaker 6: these charges they waiting on him to get out of
- 32:52Speaker 6: office is gonna be gone. It's gonna be It's gonna
- 32:55Speaker 6: be nothing. This dude didn't got away, Scott free, Scott free.
- 33:00Speaker 13: He gonna change the constitution, try to run what he
- 33:04Speaker 13: can run again?
- 33:04Speaker 1: I have another term third.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Okay, call, okay. So let's say he run again.
- 33:10Speaker 9: Yeah, then that means Obama can run again. Let's let's
- 33:16Speaker 9: rock again, Let's rock, Let's go and go for.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Let's do.
- 33:27Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 2: But I don't think. I don't think. Just again, I don't.
- 33:33Speaker 9: I think Obama would save the world if he come
- 33:36Speaker 9: back and go against him.
- 33:37Speaker 2: I think so.
- 33:38Speaker 13: But that's why they like this, not because they couldn't
- 33:40Speaker 13: handle him the first time.
- 33:42Speaker 1: That's why he's losing because he was a black man.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Well but see everybody that's voted for him, this is
- 33:50Speaker 6: what we got. This is what we have. And I'm
- 33:54Speaker 6: not I'm just watching it all. But I can't say no, no, no, no,
- 34:00Speaker 6: I told you it's notine none to nine.
- 34:02Speaker 2: He told you.
- 34:04Speaker 6: But what But what a lot of common people don't
- 34:07Speaker 6: know is these policies were going to affect them because
- 34:12Speaker 6: what they did not realize was he never cared about them.
- 34:15Speaker 6: He cared about the rich. He gonna do whatever. And
- 34:19Speaker 6: I tell you what else he just did. He just
- 34:20Speaker 6: put them tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China. Those tariffs
- 34:27Speaker 6: are gonna raise prices. Now he's trying to hide it
- 34:32Speaker 6: like he's doing that because he wants to tax fitting
- 34:37Speaker 6: all when it comes in.
- 34:40Speaker 2: But y'all don't know where to fit and all that.
- 34:44Speaker 9: This crazy bro I've been watching TV.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Man, I'm watching this. He's hiding it under the drug stuff.
- 34:52Speaker 6: But America never addresses the real problem. We are the
- 34:55Speaker 6: number one consumer of recreational drugs in the world. It's
- 35:00Speaker 6: supply and demand. They can't ship it over here unless
- 35:03Speaker 6: we bind it. That's the problem. We need to start
- 35:07Speaker 6: at tackling.
- 35:08Speaker 10: It's a mess. We still have to say our prayers
- 35:11Speaker 10: and our condolences to Philly. On Friday night, a medevac
- 35:15Speaker 10: airplane crashed after departing from Northeast to Philadelphia Airport. On
- 35:19Speaker 10: board was a pediatric patient and her mom, who were
- 35:23Speaker 10: returning home to Tijuana, Mexico, after the child had been
- 35:26Speaker 10: treated for an illness at Philadelphia's Shriner's Children's Hospital. Also
- 35:31Speaker 10: on board were four crew members, a pilot, a co pilot, paramedic,
- 35:34Speaker 10: and doctor. All six people that died on the plane
- 35:38Speaker 10: were Mexican nationals on One other person was killed in
- 35:42Speaker 10: a car and at least nineteen other people were injured
- 35:46Speaker 10: on the ground. So, you know, our prayers and condolences
- 35:51Speaker 10: so sad. Yeah, this is just and back to back.
- 35:55Speaker 10: I think that's what is so hurtful as well. You know,
- 35:58Speaker 10: we weren't recovered from the first one and then the
- 36:00Speaker 10: second one happened.
- 36:02Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 36:03Speaker 13: Yeah, And it's sad that the president has this all diversity.
- 36:08Speaker 1: He's just coming after diversity. It's just sickness. You're racist.
- 36:13Speaker 10: I mean, the fact that he can stay out of
- 36:16Speaker 10: his mouth now psychologically superior, come on, who.
- 36:22Speaker 6: He's But you know, look, he's always felt that way.
- 36:25Speaker 6: He's in that age bracket where they constantly feel that way.
- 36:28Speaker 6: There are newborn people who feel that way too. It's
- 36:32Speaker 6: just like Martin Luther King said, some people are born
- 36:35Speaker 6: with the drum major instinct and simply think they are
- 36:38Speaker 6: out front and leading simply by the color of your skin. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 6: and that's what we have here.
- 36:46Speaker 14: Yeah, he's making money and skin related policies.
- 36:51Speaker 10: Yeah yeah, all right, again, our condolence is going out
- 36:55Speaker 10: to those families now coming up at twenty minutes after
- 36:58Speaker 10: the hour we'll switch gear where Carla will be coming
- 37:01Speaker 10: back with a recap of the Grammys right after this.
- 37:04Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's time to talk
- 37:11Speaker 10: about life insurance. It's one of those things that everyone
- 37:14Speaker 10: should have, and Globe Life makes it easy with no

- 39:20Speaker 13: thinks the word genre is used just to keep people
- 39:24Speaker 13: in their place, and so congratulations. It was so cute
- 39:27Speaker 13: when she won that award. First, she was sitting there
- 39:30Speaker 13: and she was shocked. She was genuinely shocked that she
- 39:34Speaker 13: won Country Album of the Year, and her daughter Blue
- 39:36Speaker 13: Ivy looked at her like, Mama, get up.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I did not know.

- 41:17Speaker 2: It's gloat red, good Morning's everyone's hotel.
- 41:24Speaker 9: Well, I ain't gonna waste no time. I just come
- 41:26Speaker 9: out the hospital.
- 41:28Speaker 13: Really were you?
- 41:30Speaker 9: We didn't?
- 41:31Speaker 1: I have catrick surgery. You have catrick surgery.
- 41:35Speaker 14: I can see my OUs all better now.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I got these glasses on. Now I can see it.
- 41:46Speaker 2: It's too much.
- 41:50Speaker 1: It's just too much.
- 41:51Speaker 2: It's everything is so close.
- 41:55Speaker 9: Thank God for it, don't you know? I had asked
- 41:59Speaker 9: him what's the age lent me to get it done?
- 42:01Speaker 9: And they said, normally, you know, it's up to about
- 42:04Speaker 9: sixty ma'am. But I prayed about it and went on
- 42:07Speaker 9: and had it done anyway.
- 42:09Speaker 10: Okay, and you can see now that's great.
- 42:12Speaker 9: Well, you know at my age, you know, they went
- 42:14Speaker 9: in there to remove my cat tracks and then they
- 42:17Speaker 9: didn't even find them. They had dissolved, so I don't
- 42:23Speaker 9: know what they did. I was out for about thirty minutes.
- 42:25Speaker 9: I got some eye drops, and Lord have mercy. Is
- 42:28Speaker 9: just better now.
- 42:30Speaker 10: I know that you've seen that.
- 42:33Speaker 2: You know I'm looking at fine print now.
- 42:36Speaker 13: Oh oh okay, and that's hold it away, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 13: got kind of hold it back.
- 42:42Speaker 9: My one of my grandkids told me to take my
- 42:45Speaker 9: telephone and put the picture, put the.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Photo thing on it and it'll zume it in for you. Okay.
- 42:51Speaker 9: That's the only problem was I couldn't find the icon
- 42:55Speaker 9: on the on the phone.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I couldn't see that to do it.
- 42:58Speaker 9: I couldn't see that so clearly anyway, what else is
- 43:03Speaker 9: going on?
- 43:04Speaker 11: Well?
- 43:04Speaker 10: I wanted to ask you, sister Hotel about you know,
- 43:08Speaker 10: this Sunday is the super Bowl, but these seventeen Louisiana
- 43:13Speaker 10: Republican legislators are asking that the performers, you know, Kendrick
- 43:18Speaker 10: Lamar at the super Bowl halftime show, will sign a
- 43:22Speaker 10: contract which states that they won't do anything lude during
- 43:26Speaker 10: their performance. So I just wanted to ask.
- 43:28Speaker 2: You won't do that loud in New Orleans?
- 43:31Speaker 10: Yes, ma'am.
- 43:31Speaker 1: What's your take on it?
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well they got a lot of nerd.
- 43:37Speaker 9: That's a whole lot of nerve. Ain't these the same people?
- 43:41Speaker 9: So it's got the French Quada Olton twenty four.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Hours a day.
- 43:45Speaker 9: Yeah, you go in there and watch a monkey do
- 43:49Speaker 9: some things he ain't supposed to do a monkey. You
- 43:52Speaker 9: walk right on and there they got women's in that
- 43:55Speaker 9: and they're selling on a strip of shoals.
- 43:57Speaker 2: And all this here you can walk around. You're in
- 44:00Speaker 2: Louise Honer.
- 44:01Speaker 9: You walking around with an open container and they don't
- 44:04Speaker 9: give it there?
- 44:04Speaker 1: What's isn't it dack or whatever?
- 44:08Speaker 9: Then they got women in here pulling their clothes off,
- 44:12Speaker 9: sitting up in here, pulling their clothes off, drawing it,
- 44:15Speaker 9: making their brows come up, just for a pack of beads.
- 44:19Speaker 9: And now they want the rappers to sign for indecen
- 44:22Speaker 9: See the whole damn city ain't decent.
- 44:25Speaker 2: We don't. We don't want to stop that part.
- 44:28Speaker 10: Are you plenty on going to the to the Super Bowl?
- 44:31Speaker 11: Oh?
- 44:32Speaker 2: I goes down there every year to save souls.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Oh, yes, man. And that's how I do it.
- 44:39Speaker 9: I take a bunch of beads and if you pull
- 44:40Speaker 9: your top up, then I know you need Jesus.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Oh you carried a lot of beads.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's how I know who need to repent.
- 44:51Speaker 2: That's the boot I said. It's a tricky move.
- 44:54Speaker 9: I got purse full of beads and my throw them
- 44:56Speaker 9: at you and you pull your top up, I get
- 44:58Speaker 9: you you yourself?
- 45:02Speaker 10: Or is it with the Missionary board or.
- 45:04Speaker 6: Just a group of us, you know, because once we
- 45:06Speaker 6: throw the beads, we don't let you keep them because
- 45:08Speaker 6: I'm not buying beads every year.
- 45:10Speaker 2: That ain't what you're doing with them. I got them
- 45:13Speaker 2: from some Catholic people.
- 45:16Speaker 9: In your younger years, did you ever pull your top
- 45:18Speaker 9: up and get some beads?
- 45:19Speaker 1: Oh?
- 45:21Speaker 2: Interesting, now, look who then jumped in here? In your
- 45:28Speaker 2: younger years? Did you have half? Yes?
- 45:33Speaker 9: I did.
- 45:36Speaker 2: In your younger years, you ever jumped and thought you
- 45:38Speaker 2: were tall? Never answered the question right? In your younger years?
- 45:47Speaker 2: Did you always had him glasses on?
- 45:51Speaker 9: Because maybe you need to get yourself some cadre surgery cataract.
- 45:55Speaker 10: It is the nephew in the frank phone call for today,
- 45:58Speaker 10: thank you since your death. You're listening to the Steve
- 46:02Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show coming up at about four minutes after
- 46:06Speaker 10: the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today, and the
- 46:09Speaker 10: subject is I love him, but I feel like we're stuck. Okay,
- 46:15Speaker 10: we'll get into that, find out what that's all about.
- 46:18Speaker 9: We all have are going through that, though not all
- 46:21Speaker 9: of us.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Right now, it's time.
- 46:26Speaker 2: We all are going through this.
- 46:28Speaker 10: Go ahead there, it's time for the nephew and today's
- 46:33Speaker 10: prank phone phone call. What you got for his neph?
- 46:36Speaker 2: All right, shall be going down to the church.
- 46:38Speaker 9: This right here is the church Gospel quiz. The Church
- 46:45Speaker 9: Gospel Quiz. There's a white guy married to a black woman.
- 46:51Speaker 9: So if you're gonna come to our church, there's some
- 46:54Speaker 9: things you need to know. There's some things you need
- 46:57Speaker 9: to know, there's some customs that you need to be away.
- 47:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 47:00Speaker 9: This is what what we're gonna do, is we're gonna
- 47:02Speaker 9: go through the Church Gospel Quiz so we can get
- 47:07Speaker 9: him on the same path that we own. Because because
- 47:10Speaker 9: you know that's that's just how we do. When you
- 47:12Speaker 9: come up in our church, you even know how we roll. Okay,
- 47:15Speaker 9: all right, cat dog, if you would the Church Gospel quid.
- 47:22Speaker 11: This is Grant, our grand Grant Stevens. Right. Yes, hey,
- 47:27Speaker 11: hey Greg, this is brother Lewis Finley. I'm calling from
- 47:30Speaker 11: Mount Siny Missionary Baptist Church. You you and your wife
- 47:34Speaker 11: just joined a couple of weeks ago, am I right?
- 47:37Speaker 16: Absolutely?
- 47:38Speaker 11: Yes? Okay, So now listen, I wanted to reach out
- 47:43Speaker 11: to you. I know you guys have started the uh
- 47:46Speaker 11: the orientation and from my understanding, you you finished one
- 47:50Speaker 11: one class of the orientation. You got three more to go?
- 47:52Speaker 11: Is that right? Yeah? All right, all right, all right. So,
- 47:56Speaker 11: first of all, I want to say welcome to Mount
- 47:59Speaker 11: Sinai and and I hope you are enjoying yourself. I
- 48:02Speaker 11: know that you and your wife are a mixed couple.
- 48:06Speaker 11: You you're a Caucasian and she's she's black. Are you
- 48:10Speaker 11: Are you liking the church so far? Grant?
- 48:13Speaker 16: Absolutely, we really are enjoying it. We completed our first
- 48:17Speaker 16: orientation and uh yeah, so far, we're really enjoying it.
- 48:20Speaker 11: Okay, Okay, did I catch it at a bad time.
- 48:23Speaker 16: I am a work right now, but it's okay. I've
- 48:25Speaker 16: got a couple, I've got a couple of.
- 48:26Speaker 11: Minutes, Okay, okay. I just wanted to call you, man.
- 48:30Speaker 11: I was worried I know you, because I don't think
- 48:32Speaker 11: you noticed. But you are the first Caucasian to join
- 48:36Speaker 11: our church, and I just want to make sure you
- 48:39Speaker 11: kind of knew the language and and just just kind
- 48:44Speaker 11: of knowing what the Black Church is all about. And
- 48:46Speaker 11: there's certain sayings and different things I think you should know,
- 48:50Speaker 11: so that you know. I just don't want you to
- 48:52Speaker 11: say that the wrong thing while you.
- 48:54Speaker 2: At the church.
- 48:55Speaker 11: If that makes sense, okay, okay, So so what I
- 48:59Speaker 11: wanted to like, I wanted to give you a little
- 49:02Speaker 11: Black Church quiz so you can kind of maybe if
- 49:06Speaker 11: you could let me know where you are, you know,
- 49:09Speaker 11: if you're on a lower level or a high level
- 49:11Speaker 11: as far as being knowledgeable about the Black Church like steel,
- 49:15Speaker 11: This blank in for me, grant And if you don't matter,
- 49:18Speaker 11: I just want to take a little bit of your
- 49:19Speaker 11: time and I'll let you get back to work. But
- 49:21Speaker 11: first of all, give a blank to God? What would
- 49:27Speaker 11: go in that blank? Right there? First of all, give
- 49:29Speaker 11: a blank to God.
- 49:31Speaker 16: Now I can think of something has give thanks to God?
- 49:36Speaker 11: No, see that's wrong. See that's wrong. See see what
- 49:39Speaker 11: it is is. First of all, give a honor to God.
- 49:42Speaker 11: All right? Remember that. First of all, give an honor
- 49:45Speaker 11: to God. You got that?
- 49:46Speaker 2: Okay?
- 49:46Speaker 11: Yes, yes, okay. First of all, give an honor to God,
- 49:50Speaker 11: who is the blank of my life? What what? What
- 49:55Speaker 11: goes in the blank? First of all, give an honor
- 49:57Speaker 11: to God, who is the blank of my life, the
- 50:01Speaker 11: love of my life. No, no, see that's that's that's
- 50:05Speaker 11: that's wrong. First of all, give an honor to God,
- 50:08Speaker 11: who is the head of my life. Are you sure that?
- 50:14Speaker 16: I'm sorry, Okay, I was just are you sure? Are
- 50:16Speaker 16: you sure about that?
- 50:17Speaker 11: Oh? I'm definitely sure about Man, don't, don't. Don't. What
- 50:20Speaker 11: I don't want you to do is question what I know.
- 50:23Speaker 11: I'm from the Black Church. I know you.
- 50:25Speaker 16: No, I wasn't. I wasn't questioning you, sir. I wasn't question.
- 50:27Speaker 11: I'm sorry.
- 50:27Speaker 16: I just always heard it that way.
- 50:29Speaker 11: But okay, So so I'm trying to give you the
- 50:33Speaker 11: understanding of knowing what the Black Church is about.
- 50:35Speaker 16: You know what I'm saying, I understand. I'm just I
- 50:38Speaker 16: appreciate you.
- 50:38Speaker 11: I apologize, Okay.
- 50:40Speaker 16: No, No, Look, i don't know these answers obviously, but
- 50:45Speaker 16: I've got a meeting. I got to get you here
- 50:46Speaker 16: in a minute like this. I'm curious if everyone in
- 50:49Speaker 16: the church gets these stone calls.
- 50:50Speaker 11: Well wait a minute, wait a minute, grand I know what,
- 50:52Speaker 11: you have a meeting, But what's more important your meeting
- 50:54Speaker 11: or knowing your position at the Black Church? What what's
- 50:58Speaker 11: more important?
- 51:00Speaker 16: I really don't have time for this right now. I
- 51:02Speaker 16: can't believe it's actually happening, Like, did you did your
- 51:04Speaker 16: pastor even know that you're calling you right now?
- 51:07Speaker 11: Well? No, I took the liberty of myself when I
- 51:09Speaker 11: realized you was Caucasian, that I would call and try
- 51:12Speaker 11: to help you so you would know what to do
- 51:14Speaker 11: when you're in the black church when people are saying
- 51:16Speaker 11: certain things you okay, okay, Grant, if you don't, man,
- 51:21Speaker 11: just do this funny Grant, like, do you know what
- 51:24Speaker 11: hooping is? Hooping?
- 51:26Speaker 16: Like, who's a hooping?
- 51:28Speaker 11: No, hooping is when the pastor is at the end
- 51:32Speaker 11: of his sermon. So listen to this, good God him
- 51:39Speaker 11: do that funny if you If you would, Grant, Oh hell,
- 51:46Speaker 11: oh god, oh man, no no, no more, come on
- 51:51Speaker 11: you women, Oh good God hot him like I gotta get.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I can't believe him? Oh no no, yeah, oh god holmighty?
- 52:06Speaker 11: Okay go Hey Greg, do you think maybe as possible
- 52:12Speaker 11: as Dick mean, you could have some sessions before you
- 52:16Speaker 11: come back to the church and I can prepare you more.
- 52:19Speaker 16: Hey man, listen, you have caught me at a really
- 52:22Speaker 16: bad time, and I'm quite honestly just so frustrated. Like
- 52:26Speaker 16: I've never heard of a quiz like this. I'm really offended,
- 52:29Speaker 16: to be honest with you, Like, do you guys not
- 52:30Speaker 16: want me to go to your church?
- 52:32Speaker 11: Anymore.
- 52:33Speaker 16: Like, as a matter of fact, dude, you should be
- 52:35Speaker 16: calling my wife right now.
- 52:36Speaker 11: She's black. Well, she should already know the quolest questions
- 52:41Speaker 11: you the ones. Don't know how I'm gonna call. I
- 52:43Speaker 11: should call you.
- 52:44Speaker 16: I am at work right now. I have a meeting
- 52:46Speaker 16: to get you in just a minute. I don't know
- 52:48Speaker 16: what you're doing.
- 52:50Speaker 11: And I hold on a second.
- 52:51Speaker 16: I have got to close my office door. This is
- 52:53Speaker 16: so embarrassing. I have never ever received a phone call
- 52:58Speaker 16: like this in my life. And you better be lucky.
- 53:01Speaker 16: I mean, I want to talk to your pastor. I
- 53:03Speaker 16: am going to talk to him next Sunday.
- 53:05Speaker 1: No joke.
- 53:06Speaker 11: Well, I didn't mean to put you to get hostile
- 53:08Speaker 11: like that. I didn't mean to get you. I didn't
- 53:09Speaker 11: mean to upset you or nothing like that. What cannot
- 53:12Speaker 11: Can I say something else to you? One last thing?
- 53:15Speaker 11: And I have to go, Okay, I just want to
- 53:18Speaker 11: let you know that this is nephew. Tell me from
- 53:21Speaker 11: the Steve Harbit Morning Show. Your wife Carolyn got me

- 53:44Speaker 16: Alright, a little embarrassed, but I'm alright, Greg.

- 56:23Speaker 10: Letter, thank you nephew subject. I love him, but I
- 56:28Speaker 10: feel like we're stuck. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've known my
- 56:31Speaker 10: husband for seven years and he is still saying that
- 56:35Speaker 10: everything we have hoped for and stuff we dream about
- 56:37Speaker 10: will happen soon. Meanwhile, he stopped being eager to look
- 56:41Speaker 10: at at new homes for us, even though I'm pregnant
- 56:44Speaker 10: and his parents' old three bedroom house is too small
- 56:48Speaker 10: for us. We are a lot of commotion at night
- 56:50Speaker 10: on our street, but he thinks that this area will
- 56:53Speaker 10: be gentrified soon and will be instant millionaires if we
- 56:57Speaker 10: wait to sell the house. I've been working hard and
- 57:00Speaker 10: saving money. I got a second job to buy the
- 57:03Speaker 10: essentials for our first child, and he always says it's
- 57:06Speaker 10: a waste of money because the baby won't care how
- 57:09Speaker 10: the room looks. It's a struggle to spend money to
- 57:12Speaker 10: better myself or him. I buy what I want him
- 57:16Speaker 10: to wear, and he will wear most of what I buy,
- 57:18Speaker 10: unless he thinks it was too expensive. After a year
- 57:22Speaker 10: of marriage, he started penny pinching. We stopped taking vacations,
- 57:26Speaker 10: and he cut up my American Express card. He said,
- 57:29Speaker 10: that's how marriage goes. He then started saying that I
- 57:32Speaker 10: want to keep up with everyone I see on social media,
- 57:36Speaker 10: and he's right. I do want to have a lavish
- 57:39Speaker 10: lifestyle because we work hard and shouldn't have to accept less.
- 57:43Speaker 10: I would like a new home close to better schools,
- 57:46Speaker 10: and I want to get a small SUV since I'm
- 57:48Speaker 10: having his baby. There is nothing wrong with doing better,
- 57:52Speaker 10: and I keep telling him that he needs to change
- 57:54Speaker 10: his mindset. I don't know why he snapped out after
- 57:58Speaker 10: we got married, but we are stuck in the same
- 58:00Speaker 10: lifestyle and that we had when we started dating. I
- 58:05Speaker 10: hate to say it, but I regret marrying him sometimes.
- 58:08Speaker 10: I was fly a f before I met my husband.
- 58:11Speaker 10: How can I turn this hopeless?
- 58:15Speaker 2: What that means, sir?
- 58:17Speaker 10: You know what it means?
- 58:19Speaker 1: You don't know what that means for.
- 58:22Speaker 10: Okay, I'll tell you. I'll tell you off ear, ya
- 58:25Speaker 10: know what it means. Or I have to get someone
- 58:27Speaker 10: that curses and then I'll.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Fly fly as all right. You know what it means.
- 58:36Speaker 1: It's the same f as f A A F.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Is the Federal Aviation Association.
- 58:48Speaker 1: All right, So you know what?
- 58:51Speaker 10: You guys really couldn't be more unequally yoked at this point,
- 58:54Speaker 10: I mean, you have nothing in common. You were right
- 58:58Speaker 10: in the sense that there's nothing wrong with wanting to
- 59:01Speaker 10: be better and elevate yourself in life. There's nothing wrong
- 59:04Speaker 10: with that.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Having a.
- 59:06Speaker 10: Successful mindset is nothing wrong with that. But not if
- 59:10Speaker 10: you can't afford it. Okay, you don't like it, but
- 59:13Speaker 10: your husband is right because he knows you're trying to
- 59:16Speaker 10: live a lie right now, not if you want to
- 59:19Speaker 10: live way above your means.
- 59:20Speaker 1: He's looking out for his family.
- 59:22Speaker 10: It seems he knows the baby is coming and living
- 59:26Speaker 10: in instagram lifestyle should not be a role.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Model for you.
- 59:29Speaker 10: You have to get something that's more real. Only some
- 59:33Speaker 10: of those people really live like that on Instagram. And
- 59:37Speaker 10: those people who are balling out like that, you need
- 59:39Speaker 10: to check their bank accounts because for all you know,
- 59:42Speaker 10: they could be living from paycheck to paycheck, okay, and
- 59:45Speaker 10: pinching pennies like you say your husband is doing. And
- 59:48Speaker 10: guess what, A lot of them really don't look like
- 59:50Speaker 10: that on social media. It's smoking mirrors, it's filters. We
- 59:54Speaker 10: talk about that a lot on this show. You can
- 59:56Speaker 10: get all kinds of apps and change your skin, your eyes, body,
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: all of that. So I just say to you, your
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: husband is not wrong. He might have some communication issues
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: and not know how to express his frustration to you.
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: So you got to take that into consideration and concentrate
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: on being a real person, flaws and all. Be authentically.
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: You don't let social media dictate to you how you
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: should live. Be happy, appreciate where you are, be grateful
- 1:00:25Speaker 10: without social media because you and your husband have major
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: life stuff going on right now, life changing things. You
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: got a baby coming. You need to be a good
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: example for your baby and not let's try to do
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: what the people on social media do that you say, Steve.
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: I agree with you, Shirley in some respects, but I
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: also understand what this lady is saying, and this is
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: a hard spot for her to be In the title
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: of the letter is I love him, but I feel
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: like we're stuck. Well, you know, and your husband's seven.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Years and he's still saying that everything we have.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: Hoped for and stuff we dream about what happens soon,
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: she says. Meanwhile, he stopped being eager to look at
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: new homes for us, even though I'm pregnant and we
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: live in his parents' own three bed roomhouse. When a
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: person says he stopped being eager. What does that really mean?
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: Because if he's saying we're going to have everything we
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: hope for and stuff we dream about, it'll happen soon.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: But he stopped being eager, meaning he's stopped.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: What this means is he has stopped making effort and
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: he stopped making moves. Now we have a problem, because
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: guess what, Faith without works is dead.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: And I think that's what we have here.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: A man that's saying everything gonna be all right, a
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: man that's believing that everything gonna be all right, but
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: a man and it ain't doing nothing to make it right.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: That's what this letter is really about.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: Now she's looking at stuff and not she wants to
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: move out the house because she says it's already too
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: small for us. Then he said she you know, she said,
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: we are a lot of commotion going on that night
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: on our street. But he thinks that this area will
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: be gentrified soon and we'll be instant millionaires. Well, bro,
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: when the neighborhood is gentrified, that means they move out
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: all the people that's in it to bring in new people.
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: All right, hang on, Steve with that thought, Well, that
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter subject is I
- 1:02:46Speaker 10: love him, but I feel like we're stuck.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:53Speaker 10: Hey, this is your girl, Shirley's strawberry. And according to research,
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: a major challenge that many employers face is the pressure
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: to hire fast. Well, if you're an employer who can relate,
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: zip recruiter has figured out how to solve this very problem.
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: It's smart technology finds qualified candidates quickly. Zip Recruiter is
- 1:03:14Speaker 10: the hiring site employers prefer the most based on G two.
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: You can invite top candidates for your job to apply.
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: Go to ZipRecruiter dot com slash strawberry to try it
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: for free. That's ZipRecruiter dot com slash strawberry. All right,
- 1:03:29Speaker 10: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: is I love him, but I feel like we're stuck.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: Now, Shirley made some good points when she addressed a
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: letter because this woman is caught up in social media,
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: which is all true what she said, but she has
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: a double plamme of a problem because she feels like
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: they're stuck.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Y'all been married seven years.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: He's still saying everything we had hope for and stuff
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: we dream about going to happen soon. The problem is,
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: she says, he stopped being eager to look at new
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: homes and all this here, and he don't want to move.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: And you know, he thinking that if they stay in
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: this house, gentrification is coming and if they hold on,
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: it'll be millionaires.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Well, you know here's a problem. Faith without works is dead.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: He still thinks they gonna have everything, but he's making
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: no effort and no moves to make it happen.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: That's why the scripture says, faith without works is dead.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: So you can want and hope all you want, but
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: if you ain't willing to do nothing what you want
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: to happen. And that's where this woman is stuck at
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: with him. Now they're about to have this baby and
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: she want to go out and fix the room up.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: He said, it's a waste of money because the baby
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: don't care how the room look. Well, the baby might not,
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: but she do. And she the mama, and she having
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: a baby, she's gonna go in there and sit in
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: the new crib and rocking chair and you know, bassing
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: that and have stuff for the baby that other babies have.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: You don't even want your baby to have nothing, So
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: you don't want nothing.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: You don't want your wife to quit want nothing, and
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: now you don't want to get a baby a damn thing.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Man, Come on, man, and then he will back.
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: He will wear, but he will wear most of what
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: you buy unless he thinks it's too expressive.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Now he just want cheap stuff. Better. What that white
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: shirt called forty dollars? You know you get a white
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: shirt for fifteen dollars.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Okay, he started penny After a year of marriage, he
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: started penny pinching. We stopped taking vacations and he caught
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: up my American Express car. Got talk man, he said,
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: that's how marriage goes. Now, our pardoner, that's how divorce go.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: He then started saying that I want to keep on
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: everybody I see on social media, and he's right. I
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: do want to have a leverage lifestyle because we work
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: hard and we shouldn't have to accept lesson.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I would like a new home.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: Close to a better school, and I want to get
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: a small SUV since I'm having his there's nothing wrong
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: with doing better.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: I keep telling it. He needs to change his mindset.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: I don't know why he snapped out after we got married,
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: but we are stuck in the same lifestyle and we
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: have we stuck in the same lifestyle we had when
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: we started dating. I hate to say it this at
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: the beginning of the end, but I regret marrying him sometime. God, dog,
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: I'd have tied myself to this. Won't nothing, do nothing
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: as made God. I was fly then on what that's
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: what the letter I was? Oh no, it's said Combs.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: It's say I was fly a l Oh yeah, oh,
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: I had forgot that what it said? I was paraphrasingly,
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: I was flying at before I met my husband. I
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: have made this trick. Now I'm sitting in here looking
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: like a damn Debbie don't knob when I go to work.
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: Now I'm sitting them been here with damn house coach
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: on the way they move me ass dressed. I'm tired
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: of going to work looking like I ought to be
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: in the back making grits and stuff. I'm sick of
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: that's right here. I used to be flying hell when
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: I met you, I had everything.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: I was popping.
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: I'm still being married Jo soryd. Now I had to
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: sell my persons and stuff. Hey, but don't worry it,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: o baby, because Walmart got a new burking out. Walmart
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: has a new burking out. You can make a comeback now.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: You ain't. It ain't finna be the real one, but
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: it looks like it from what I understand it does.
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: Yeah, so I don't know what to tell you about this.
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: I feel sorry for you. Your husband is in a
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: place if he don't want nothing.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: See.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: Some people's version is to cut back. Sometimes cutting back
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: is necessary, But how about if you make more now?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: The problem is if you've lived beyond your meanings.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: If you lived beyond your means, then cutting back is
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: necessary so you can get back within your means. So
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: what you do make becomes more manageable and appears to
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: be a plenty. But if what you have don't appear
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: to be enough, you have two choices. You can cut
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: back or you can make more. I don't think he's
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: that type of man to go out and make more,
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: because he ain't finna do that. He's already cut your card.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: Once they cut your American Express card up, you're not
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: getting no damn new SUV. I can just tell you
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: that right now, he'll get damn what the one, he'll
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: paint the baby room, but the baby finished sleep in
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: whatever bed that's in there. He gonna make a bed
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: because it's cheaper. I don't know what he's gonna do.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: But your baby ain't fitna have a damn thing. I'm
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: just gonna tell you that right now. You and the
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: baby ain't fitna have a damn thing. Leaving him, it's
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: gonna put you a little bit further behind the eight
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: ball for a while. So I think you all are
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: gonna have to sit down have some serious conversations. Now,
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: this ain't high marriage.
- 1:09:12Speaker 16: Go.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Marriage is a series of compromises, and it's a set
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: of two people working together. So until y'all get on
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: that page, you're not fitna have a damn thing and
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: the baby not getting.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: No new clothes.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: All right, you can come.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: So who y'all know got a baby that can give
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: y'all they clothes.
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: You're coming on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram and Facebook
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: at Steve Harvey FM. Also check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: podcast on the free iHeartRadio app. Coming up next it
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: is Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: Hey, Look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: up beside. Fortunately, every Hyundai offers advanced safety features that
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: can alert you to potential dangers around.
- 1:10:06Speaker 9: That's right, because Hendi is always working to ensure the
- 1:10:09Speaker 9: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: and six to twenty twenty four.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: As of December twenty twenty four.
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: It is time now for junior and sports talk. What
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: you got Junior?
- 1:10:24Speaker 9: Okay, well, you know over the weekend, Uncle Blockbuster, the
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: trade happened in the NBA.
- 1:10:28Speaker 15: Man Luca Dodgers of the Dallas Mavericks is now a
- 1:10:31Speaker 15: Los Angeles Laker in exchange for Anthony Davis.
- 1:10:34Speaker 13: Man.
- 1:10:34Speaker 15: It is nobody saw this coming. Lebron James said he
- 1:10:37Speaker 15: didn't even know he was at dinner when he found
- 1:10:39Speaker 15: out that his teammate Anthony Davis has been traded to
- 1:10:42Speaker 15: the Lakers. That the Mavericks are saying they traded doctor
- 1:10:45Speaker 15: because they had concerns the conditioning and his diet, his
- 1:10:49Speaker 15: traditioning is dying yet.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: What you what you think ad doing here now? Because
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: his stomach hurt.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Don't take much.
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: But who you think got the bit of upgrade here?
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: Is it the Lakers or did the Mavericks?
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: The Lakers not going no well with the team they got.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: Lebron is still hell of a ballplayer. He is still
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: at this age, man, a dominating ballplayer. This dude was
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: playing against the Knicks. Man, he looked every bit of
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: twenty eight.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: So it's not him. Ads a hell of a hooper.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: You just can't count on anym long street clothes. Yeah
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: those are you talking about? Street clothes?
- 1:11:34Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Why you call him street clothes?
- 1:11:36Speaker 9: Because he always got his street clothes on. He always,
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: you always look like he going to the movies. He
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: always looks like going on a date.
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think all of these guys should
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: have took a page from Lebron. Lebron, I have never
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: seen him before, and I've seen everybody, man. You know,
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: I've been watching basketball since kareem My dude Jabal who
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: was Louis Cinder was playing against Wilt Chamberlain. You know,
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: I saw them games. Brou I've never seen Lebron James before.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: I've never seen a man play at the level that
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: they've played at for the amount of time that he's
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: played at it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Lord have mercy, this guy is.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: Sheer greatness for the number of years he done played
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: long enough to wear his son in the NBA, that's
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: what conversation.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: But his son is in the n BE on the
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: same team with it, on the same team that's in town.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Come on, man, but these other catch they don't take
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: care of theirself like that in the offseason. They don't
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: take care of themself during the season. They don't take
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: care of it because they keep breaking. Now, Luca fat
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: I asked, gonna have to come out here and eat
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: right now to LA and bring your chubby ass out
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: here to LA because we out here eating tofu and
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: all this hell.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: He's gonna have to eat vegan.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: He gotta be no.
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Franchise, take peptides and pesticides and man, you got to
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: come out here and start eating like a roach.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Very little coming up at the top of.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: A man.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Steve needs your advice.
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: He needs to know if he can ignore his wife
- 1:13:28Speaker 10: until after the Super Bowl. We'll get into that right
- 1:13:32Speaker 10: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: So Steve. This one is from Daryl and Louisville. Darryl says,
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: I got a suite at a hotel outside of New
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: Orleans for the game, and I told my two cousins
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: they can share the room with me. My wife got
- 1:13:50Speaker 10: into my email and canceled my hotel. She said it
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: was too expensive, and she found me an airbnb that's
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: farther away from the game. It's so hot with her
- 1:14:01Speaker 10: that I haven't slept in the bed with her for
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: three nights. I was able to book another suite last night,
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: but it was a lot more expensive. I also changed
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: my password to my email account. And now she's just
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: as angry as I am. Am I wrong for not
- 1:14:14Speaker 10: caring how she feels at this moment? Can I fix
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: things after I go to the game?
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: That's don't be alone with your dog. But let me
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: explain something to your wife. Was wrong for doing that? Yeah,
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: you know you his wife.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: You ain't his mama.
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: You can't change this man's reservation and then book him
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: in ABB and B because that's what you want to do.
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: Maybe that ain't what he want to do. Super Bowl
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: come along once a year. Now you ain't staying in
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: that expensive suite. You gonna get this and b not
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: way away from the game. Well, if you're watching it
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: on TV, it don't matter how far away it eatith,
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: But you ain't gonna be able to go to the
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: French quarter after the game.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: But your wife, that was real wrong of her to
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: do that.
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: Now you.
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: You your payback is I'm getting me another sweet. Now
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: this sweet is even more explicit than that. And I'm
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: changing my pedal. You ain't changing the damn thing. Now
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: she more mad? Yeah, Ah, that's life.
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: The two wrongs don't make it right. Can you ignore
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: her till after the super Bowl? I don't know how
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: you're gonna enjoy the super Bowl? I really don't that.
- 1:15:24Speaker 9: No one.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: What's weighing on your ass at the house right after
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: the game?
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: For hours?
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: Yes?
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Lord, you got y'all gonna be out there early?
- 1:15:35Speaker 12: Woo?
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: How do you fix this.
- 1:15:42Speaker 10: After he goes to the game.
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: I mean, but you're gonna have to do what I said. Baby,
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: I'm not your child, I'm your husband. You should have
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: confided in me before you change my reservation.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: That ticked me off.
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: And just to show you I'm grown now I get
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: to do what I want to do, even if you're
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: gonna be mad at it. But I'm stealing the door.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: I would never have done that to you, and you
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: just gonna to take that stand. And then, in the
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: words of my daddy, you're gonna either get over it
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: or you're gonna die mad.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Now, which one you want to do?
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: We have time for another one, Steve. This one's from
- 1:16:16Speaker 10: Asia and Teneck. Asia says, I told a guy that
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: I just met that he could come over, but my
- 1:16:23Speaker 10: apartment is a mess because I had some water damage.
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: We had sex, and then a few days later a
- 1:16:28Speaker 10: mutual friend told me that the guy said I was
- 1:16:30Speaker 10: a nasty chick and my place smelled musty. He insisted
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: on coming over and staying. So why is he talking
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: about me behind my back?
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Because, first of all, lady, you just met the guy,
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: you don't know him.
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: You have him over your place when you know it
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: ain't ready your house stink y'all had sex in the
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: stinky house anyway, already did what?
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: They had sex in the stinky house.
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: This stuff all dissheveled and misplaced, you know what, Ladies,
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: In the words of Bishop Brown, who gave me the
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: best information I had in twenty twenty four. Be careful
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: of people who play the victim in circumstances that they
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: created themselves.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: What you mad at him?
- 1:17:24Speaker 11: Folk?
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: You slept with him and you don't know him. You said,
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: don't come over here in my house and mess he
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: coming anyway? Then y'all had sex?
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: What's wrong with you? Where your pride and dignity at?
- 1:17:36Speaker 11: Then?
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Would somebody go out here and treat you the way
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: you acted?
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: You mad because they talking about you? You talk material.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: I don't even gonna say how you mad at him?
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: He treated you the way you acted. You acted messy,
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: You acted cheap. Now he dine told everybody you cheat.
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: Now we don't come back over there and spend another night.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Well you do good things?
- 1:18:00Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: Do you do a couple of things good? Once he
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: get in there and he can get past that smell,
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: he take a little while. He might have a cotton
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: ball in his nostril with a little perfume on it.
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: He owned dealing with a little.
- 1:18:11Speaker 10: Smell coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: Whatever more, go to somebody house to stay, put a

- 1:22:48Speaker 9: in prison.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: Yeah you're hey, hey, Junie, no fish dog dog. You
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: can't ever get no swimming pool. That's the law. You
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: cannot have a swimming pool without a fence around it.

- 1:24:51Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:24:54Speaker 10: the day, and it's been a great day.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Thank you lord, it's been a great day.
- 1:24:58Speaker 10: Thank you for listening.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: He's gonna celebrate regardless, you know.
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: And my close remarks is pertaining to this presidency. You know,
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: I'm not surprised that anything he's doing, uh, because it's
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: par for the course. I mean, he's a continuation of
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: what he was. The thing of it is is this
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: is what the American voting mass, the more popular vote
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: was for him. Whyatt was for him had a lot
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: to do with who he was running against and the
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: mistakes that was made. A lot of it was because
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: simply because there are people who don't want a woman
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: in charge.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: A lot of it is because this country is what
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: they say they're not.
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: America has a very very racist element to it. There
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: is no denying that. You can sit up and bet
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: Tim Scott and put the blinders on all you want
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: and say America is not a racist country. Okay, Well,
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: have you been listening to what the president of this
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: country has been saying. Did you even take the time
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: to understand what any of Project twenty twenty five was saying.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: Do you even understand the basic core of the message.
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: The slogan was Maga make America great again. That alone,
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: right there told the whole story. And they are going
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: about the business of doing just like it was. Let's
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: get it back when it was no affirmative action, Let's
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: get it back when there was no DEI, Let's get
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: it back when there was no civil rights bill. Many
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: they coming for all of that. But y'all so stupid
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: though that you actually thought that President Trump was talking
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: about you. You actually believed him when he said he's
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: gonna bring the prices of groceries down. When rich people
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: don't care what the price of groceries is because it's
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: not gonna make them a bit of difference one way
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: or the other. So look at your groceries. Ain't nothing
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: going down, and ain't nothing coming down. And if you
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: notice what he just did, he put terrorists on China,
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: Canada and Mexico. Now these terrorifts mean that they're gonna
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: have to pay twenty five percent more, and Canada has
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: to pay ten percent more of everything that they import. Well,
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: guess what somebody gotta pay for that more cost, and
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: that's gonna be you. That's going to be us, y'all.
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: Don't get it y'all thinking that he cutting all these
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: programs out for these social programs was gonna hurt and
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: affect black people.
- 1:28:14Speaker 9: Y'all got diabetes too. Black people ain't the only one
- 1:28:19Speaker 9: with diabetes. That thirty five dollars insulin program. They ain't
- 1:28:23Speaker 9: gonna just affect us, That's gonna affect everybody. Y'all didn't
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: get it right this time.
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: You just didn't you thinking when he got rid of DEI,
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: he was talking about black people the number one beneficiary.
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: According to the US Department of Label, the number one
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: benefactor of DEI is white women. Do you know the
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: least benefactors of DEI programs black people? Latinos is in there,
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: Native Americans in their Asians.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: Is in there. Do you know that they veterans are
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: in there?
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: They're cutting out programs for veterans they don't want a
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: d Do you know that people with disabilities.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Are in the DEI cutbacks?
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: You ain't know that digit nah, because they had your
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: stupid ass thinking he was talking about black people.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: They was talking about y'all too, because they trying to
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: make money. Let me explain some to you.
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: See, when you do these cut out these programs to
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: help the Medicare cost and cost of medicine and diabetes,
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: you know how that helps that in help that helps
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: the pharmaceuticals because now they back into the big profits.
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: Why do you think they made all these donations to
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: the Trump campaign because they knew they was gonna get
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: it back tenfold in the money he was gonna put
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: back in their pockets. Every move Donald trap is making
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: is to put money back into the hands of rich people.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: Y'all really thought he was talking about y'all. I went
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: out the other day. I was going to this doctor's appointment,
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: and I was passing by this big white pickup truck
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: and it was flying Trump Vance signs, and I saw
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: in his window, his back window. I'm a proud veteran.
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: I felt bad for this guy because I went, hey, mister,
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: proud veteran, the DEI cutbacks that he's doing, it's gonna
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: take benefits from you people who fought for this country.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: Y'all really thought he was talking about y'all. You know,
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: this is the same guy that dodged the draft. You
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: remember that, don't you. That's the same guy that talked
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: about McCain because he was a prisoner and he thought
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: he was a bad prisoner.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: You know, remember that.
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: But here's a guy who did everything say he was
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: flat footed so he couldn't even go to war. Now
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: I got you didn't want to go to war. I
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: don't want to go to war either, but you can't
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: talk about the ones who did. It's really sad what's
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: happening here. I did say I really feel sorry for
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: the common man. But now it's all come out to play. Wow,
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: we got exactly what he told us. We were just
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: going to plus. Yeah, I have a great day to day.
