Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / BIDEN & HARRIS PUTTING KIDS IN CAGES AT THE BORDER, AND MEDIA LYING ABOUT IT
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The media has been completely silent as the Biden administration
- 0:04Speaker 1: has done something they said was inhumane that should be
- 0:09Speaker 1: considered war crimes. I'm not joking that there should be
- 0:12Speaker 1: war crimes against people that do that, that this is
- 0:15Speaker 1: violation of human rights abuses at the UN. What am
- 0:18Speaker 1: I referring to. I'm referring to the Biden administration now
- 0:22Speaker 1: quote illegally holds unaccompanied migrant children. That is what the
- 0:27Speaker 1: Border Patrol Union is now saying. Remember the whole kids
- 0:32Speaker 1: in cages, right, remember that like separating parents from the
- 0:35Speaker 1: kids and these holding these kids in cages, and this
- 0:38Speaker 1: whole entire media outrage that Donald Trump should be tried
- 0:43Speaker 1: for war crimes and this is against human rights violations,
- 0:45Speaker 1: that the UN should be involved, and they started condemning it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: These cages quote unquote were actually built and used by
- 0:53Speaker 1: other than Barack Obama, and there was no outrage when
- 0:57Speaker 1: Barack Obama was doing this. Guess what. The media is
- 1:00Speaker 1: now silent again as Biden illegally holds unaccompanied migrant children.
- 1:06Speaker 1: That is what the Border Patrol Union has now said.
- 1:10Speaker 1: The mainstream media is silent as the Biden administration holds
- 1:13Speaker 1: unaccoming migrant children in border patrol custody longer than legally Loud,
- 1:19Speaker 1: the head of the Border Patrol Union stated, the miners
- 1:22Speaker 1: are being held in the same quote unquote cages the
- 1:24Speaker 1: media and the Democratic politicians criticize the Trump administration for
- 1:29Speaker 1: and said that they were in violation of human rights
- 1:32Speaker 1: and that they should lose their jobs and be charged
- 1:34Speaker 1: with crimes. National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judge said
- 1:40Speaker 1: that as a Monday, border patrol officials held more than
- 1:44Speaker 1: eight hundred unaccompanied alien children in custody, despite the legal
- 1:51Speaker 1: requirements to release the children to other federal agencies within
- 1:54Speaker 1: seventy two hours, more than two hundred and twelve remaining
- 1:58Speaker 1: custody longer than the league limit. Now, the White House
- 2:02Speaker 1: Press Secretary, you know, the woman that speaks for the
- 2:04Speaker 1: President of the United States of America, Joe Biden and
- 2:07Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, the woman that said putting kids in cages
- 2:10Speaker 1: was inhumane and war crimes and all this other crap,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Right that they freaked out, the same cages and the
- 2:16Speaker 1: same policy that the Trump administration inherited, and the cages
- 2:21Speaker 1: of the Trump administration inherited from You guessed it. Joe
- 2:25Speaker 1: Biden and Barack Obama's administration, and then only because there
- 2:28Speaker 1: was a new president that people freak out and say
- 2:31Speaker 1: this is inhumane human rights abuses, blah blah blah blah
- 2:34Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. They're now using those cages again.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And there was a question that was asked of the
- 2:41Speaker 1: White House Press Secretary, the woman who speaks for the president,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and she clashed with Fox News Peter Doocy over the
- 2:48Speaker 1: Biden administration's immigration policies and these cages, by the way,
- 2:52Speaker 1: being used. Take a listen, thank j a few on
- 2:56Speaker 1: immigration really quick. Mark Carlin was asked yesterday if illegal
- 3:00Speaker 1: entry at the borders should remain a crime, and he said,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I haven't thought about that question. Does President Biden believe
- 3:06Speaker 1: that illegal entry at the border should remain a crime
- 3:10Speaker 1: moving forward? Well, I think he was at being asked
- 3:13Speaker 1: as the attorney general, the future attorney general. I think
- 3:15Speaker 1: he's looking ahead to be confirmed of the United States,
- 3:19Speaker 1: and if he wants to make considerations independently, he can
- 3:22Speaker 1: certainly do that. But the President's spoken to this, and
- 3:26Speaker 1: we've believed in abiding by our laws. As you know,
- 3:28Speaker 1: there of course is a process underway at the Department
- 3:30Speaker 1: of Homeland Security to take a fresh look at prioritization
- 3:37Speaker 1: and who is detained and who was sent back home.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So that is something happening from the department Apartment of
- 3:43Speaker 1: Homeland Security. But again, if he's going to lead an
- 3:46Speaker 1: independent justice department, and it is his prerogative to take
- 3:49Speaker 1: a look at any policies under their purview. To that point,
- 3:53Speaker 1: why is the Biden administration reopening a temporary facility for
- 3:57Speaker 1: migrant children in Texas? Well? First, the policy of this administration,
- 4:03Speaker 1: as you well know, but just for others, is not
- 4:06Speaker 1: to expel unccompanied children who arrive at the border. And
- 4:10Speaker 1: the process how it works is that Customs and Border
- 4:13Speaker 1: Control continue to transfer uncompanied children to the HHS Office
- 4:18Speaker 1: of Refugee re Settlement. That can take a couple of days.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I just want to give this context so people need
- 4:23Speaker 1: to understand the process. But because of COVID nineteen protocols,
- 4:27Speaker 1: the like social distancing requirements, the capacity to existing office
- 4:32Speaker 1: of record hold on time out real real quick. The
- 4:34Speaker 1: bs that we're having to walk through, the amount of
- 4:37Speaker 1: shi you know what that we're having to walk through
- 4:39Speaker 1: right now is amazing. So let me get this straight.
- 4:43Speaker 1: The White House is now saying it's okay to put
- 4:45Speaker 1: kids in the cages that Joe Biden and Barack Obama built.
- 4:50Speaker 1: That they said, we're human rights violations, in humane and
- 4:52Speaker 1: war crimes. Some of the labs said that to use
- 4:56Speaker 1: them and demanded the Trump administration stop using them. And
- 4:59Speaker 1: they camped out down there and they cried at the
- 5:01Speaker 1: wall and they try to help the kids out and
- 5:03Speaker 1: gave them water. Remember all that AOC and all that
- 5:05Speaker 1: craft that happen. Remember all of that. Don't forget any
- 5:08Speaker 1: of that. You're saying now that it's okay to use
- 5:11Speaker 1: those cages and put them in these trailers like a
- 5:14Speaker 1: trailer like a shipping container and reopen them up. And
- 5:19Speaker 1: you're using the excuse of COVID nineteen. That's now why
- 5:24Speaker 1: you can do this. You're allowed to pull it off
- 5:27Speaker 1: because of COVID nineteen. Well, that's new. Hold on the
- 5:33Speaker 1: b s gets even better. FUGI resettlement shelters has been
- 5:36Speaker 1: significantly reduced because, of course, you can't have a child
- 5:39Speaker 1: in every bed. There needs to be spacing, and we
- 5:42Speaker 1: abide by those spacing to protect the kids who are
- 5:46Speaker 1: living in those facilities. For a short period of time
- 5:49Speaker 1: and to ensure the health and safety of these kids,
- 5:52Speaker 1: HHS took steps to open an emergency facility to add
- 5:55Speaker 1: capacity where these children can be provided the care they
- 5:58Speaker 1: need while they are safely before they are safely placed
- 6:01Speaker 1: with families and sponsors. So it's a temporary reopening during
- 6:05Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. Our intention is very much to close it,
- 6:08Speaker 1: but we want to ensure that we can follow COVID
- 6:11Speaker 1: protocols as we as unaccompanied miners come into the United States.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But it's the same facility that was open for a
- 6:18Speaker 1: month and the Trump administration summer twenty nineteen, that is
- 6:21Speaker 1: when Joe Biden said, under Trump, there have been horrifying
- 6:24Speaker 1: scenes at the border of kids being kept in cages,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and Kamala Harris said, basically, babies and cages is a
- 6:31Speaker 1: human rights abuse being committed by the United States government.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So how is this any different than that. We very
- 6:36Speaker 1: much feel that way, and these are facilities. May be clear,
- 6:41Speaker 1: Hair One, there's a pandemic going on. I'm sure you're
- 6:44Speaker 1: not suggesting that we have children right next to each
- 6:47Speaker 1: other in ways that are not COVID safe, are you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I'm suggesting that Kamala Harris said that this facility, putting
- 6:55Speaker 1: people in this facility was a human rights abuse committed
- 6:57Speaker 1: by the United States government, and Joe Biden said, under Trump,
- 7:01Speaker 1: there have been horrifying scenes of border at the border,
- 7:05Speaker 1: of kids being kept in cages. Now it's not under Trump,
- 7:07Speaker 1: it's under fining. This is not kids being kept in cages.
- 7:11Speaker 1: This is this is this is a facility that was
- 7:14Speaker 1: opened that's going to follow the same standards as other
- 7:17Speaker 1: HHS facilities. It is not a replication, certainly not. That's
- 7:22Speaker 1: that there is never our intention of replicating the immigration
- 7:25Speaker 1: policies of the past administration. But we are in a
- 7:28Speaker 1: circumstance where we are not going to expel unaccompanied miners
- 7:31Speaker 1: at the border. That would be inhumane. That is not
- 7:34Speaker 1: what we are going to do here as an administration.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So we'll stick him in cages. That okay, got it.
- 7:39Speaker 1: We'll stick them in cages. We're not gonna We're not
- 7:42Speaker 1: going to turn them back and send them home. No,
- 7:43Speaker 1: we're going to stick him in in shipping containers. And
- 7:47Speaker 1: it's okay for us to do this, even though we've
- 7:49Speaker 1: said to human rights abuse, human rights violation. They refer
- 7:54Speaker 1: to them as concentration camps before right that these award
- 7:57Speaker 1: crimes types of abuse of these children at the board,
- 8:00Speaker 1: even though they're the ones that built the damn things,
- 8:02Speaker 1: referring to the Biden Obama administration and the White House
- 8:05Speaker 1: Press Secretary is sitting there trying to tell you that
- 8:07Speaker 1: it's okay to do these human rights violations in the
- 8:10Speaker 1: name of COVID. We need to find places that are
- 8:13Speaker 1: safe under COVID protocols for kids to be where they
- 8:17Speaker 1: can have access to education, health and mental services consistent
- 8:20Speaker 1: with our best interests. Our goal is for them to
- 8:23Speaker 1: then be transferred to families or sponsors. So this is
- 8:26Speaker 1: our effort to ensure that kids are treated or not
- 8:30Speaker 1: in close proximity and that we're abiding by the health
- 8:32Speaker 1: and safety standards that the government has been set out. Wow,
- 8:37Speaker 1: that's a whole lot of BS, isn't it. Wow, that
- 8:41Speaker 1: is a whole lot of BS, isn't it. I mean,
- 8:43Speaker 1: just totally changing the rules, making it up because now
- 8:46Speaker 1: we're back in charge of the cages that we built
- 8:48Speaker 1: and then the shipping containers that we bought, and we're
- 8:51Speaker 1: throwing these kids in there. But don't worry, the policy
- 8:53Speaker 1: is now no longer a human rights violation because we're
- 8:56Speaker 1: doing it to protect them. We're claiming from COVID it.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I rarely, in fact, this may be the first time
- 9:03Speaker 1: ever that I actually agree with AOC. Yeah, AOC has
- 9:09Speaker 1: come out today's demanding that ICE and the Department of
- 9:12Speaker 1: Home in Security. She says, Well, I sort of agree
- 9:16Speaker 1: with her, and you'll understand why. In a moment. She's saying,
- 9:19Speaker 1: demanding that the Department of Home in Security and ICE
- 9:22Speaker 1: should be abolished because of the use of these cages
- 9:26Speaker 1: and the US she says, should let's end climate refugees
- 9:30Speaker 1: and radical plan to see anger. Centrist democrats have to
- 9:35Speaker 1: eat their own words. This is not a joke. AOC
- 9:38Speaker 1: is demanding the Department of homeo Insecurity and Immigration and
- 9:40Speaker 1: Customs Enforcement be abolished. She said the Department of Home
- 9:44Speaker 1: in Security shouldn't exist, agencies should be reorganized. ICE gotta go,
- 9:50Speaker 1: she says, banned for profit detention centers create climate refugee status.
- 9:55Speaker 1: And more so, now she says, you should be able
- 9:56Speaker 1: to come to America in the name of climate change.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I'm not kidding now. This demand came as she and
- 10:02Speaker 1: this is the part I agree with AOCON. She blasted
- 10:05Speaker 1: President Joe Biden's administration for reopening these concentration camps, as
- 10:12Speaker 1: she's called them, a temporary influx center. Is how the
- 10:15Speaker 1: White House is spinning it for unaccompaning miners in Texas.
- 10:19Speaker 1: They opened the same damn things they said you couldn't
- 10:21Speaker 1: have opened because it was inhumane, it was child abuse,
- 10:24Speaker 1: and it was war crimes and violation of people's human
- 10:27Speaker 1: rights to even have these things. She says, quote, this
- 10:33Speaker 1: has never been okay. It is not okay, never will
- 10:37Speaker 1: be okay, no matter the administration or the party. The
- 10:41Speaker 1: Washington Post, by the way, I love the hypocrisy of
- 10:44Speaker 1: the Washington Post. They reported this week that the center
- 10:48Speaker 1: in Carrizo Springs, Texas, will hold up to seven hundred
- 10:51Speaker 1: children ages thirteen through seventeen who arrived in the United
- 10:55Speaker 1: States alone. But here's the best part about what they've said.
- 11:00Speaker 1: The best part about how the media is following all
- 11:04Speaker 1: over themselves to protect the Biden Harris administration is the
- 11:08Speaker 1: way that they are actually reporting on this. So Joe
- 11:12Speaker 1: Biden is, and this is a fact, keeping kids in cages.
- 11:15Speaker 1: He's also keeping kids and shipping containers. Where is the
- 11:18Speaker 1: outrage the Washington Post headline says, this first migrant facility
- 11:24Speaker 1: for children's opens under Biden. That's their headline. That is
- 11:29Speaker 1: their headline. You want to know what they said when
- 11:33Speaker 1: Donald Trump was in office. They said Donald Trump was
- 11:36Speaker 1: putting kids in cages. Yeah, here's another headline for u
- 11:42Speaker 1: CBS News. They're now getting in on the act. Quote
- 11:46Speaker 1: US shelters for migrant children near maximum capacity as border
- 11:50Speaker 1: crossings increase. They're now calling them shelters what they referred
- 11:54Speaker 1: to as cages. Because it's the same damn facility. They
- 11:58Speaker 1: said that was in humane, they said it was human
- 12:01Speaker 1: rights violations. They said it was human rights abuse, as
- 12:03Speaker 1: they said it was a concentration camp, the same newspapers
- 12:06Speaker 1: that said that about the same exact facilities. I want
- 12:08Speaker 1: to make this clear. This is not two separate facilities.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It's the same damn place. It's the same exact facility, folks,
- 12:17Speaker 1: it's the same house. Imagine imagine a house pin called
- 12:20Speaker 1: a crack house, and then all of a sudden, the
- 12:21Speaker 1: next day they called a church and you're like, no,
- 12:23Speaker 1: it's still a crack house. No, no, we've decided it's
- 12:26Speaker 1: a church today. Imagine a whorehouse being a whorehouse, and
- 12:29Speaker 1: then they say a couple hours later, no, no, we're
- 12:31Speaker 1: gonna rebrand it as as a women's mission compound, and
- 12:37Speaker 1: therefore it changes it, right, even though it's still a
- 12:39Speaker 1: whrhouse or better yet, you say, hey, this horhouse is
- 12:46Speaker 1: no longer a horhouse. We've rebranded as a single mother's compound.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Does it make it any less of a horhouse? My
- 12:53Speaker 1: point is, if you were going to say that last
- 12:55Speaker 1: year that this was a concentration camp in the year
- 12:58Speaker 1: before that, and year before that and year before that,
- 13:00Speaker 1: and that human rights abuses were taking place in these
- 13:04Speaker 1: in these concentration camps, I'm using their words. Then how
- 13:08Speaker 1: can you use the same damn building for the same
- 13:10Speaker 1: exact thing and now rebrand it as in their words? Okay,
- 13:14Speaker 1: because this is their words, it says their spin. How
- 13:18Speaker 1: can you now claim that it is a migrant facility
- 13:21Speaker 1: for children being opened? How can CBS News call it
- 13:25Speaker 1: a shelter for migrant children when last year you said
- 13:29Speaker 1: it was a concentration camp. The only thing that changed
- 13:32Speaker 1: was the president nited States of America and the leadership.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's it. And they're using the same damn thing. They're
- 13:40Speaker 1: also calling it a homestead facility in Miami, Florida that
- 13:44Speaker 1: was also reopened for overflow, which they referred to as
- 13:47Speaker 1: a concentration camp. When Donald Trump was a president, government
- 13:53Speaker 1: officials pointed out that the Health and Human Services facility
- 13:56Speaker 1: quote is being used to accommodate young people in the
- 13:58Speaker 1: COVID nineteen pandemic. So let's just use COVID to cover
- 14:02Speaker 1: up the fact that we're using the same exact places
- 14:04Speaker 1: for the same exact thing that we said you couldn't
- 14:07Speaker 1: use it for, and there was a human rights abuse.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I'm waiting for the UN to come out and condemn
- 14:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden for this right. I'm waiting for the UN
- 14:13Speaker 1: to come out and demand that these things be shut
- 14:16Speaker 1: down immediately. AOC again, I love quoting her when every
- 14:22Speaker 1: once while she says something that I agree with. It's
- 14:25Speaker 1: only two months into this administration, and our fraught, unjust
- 14:28Speaker 1: immigration system will not transform, will not transform in that time.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That's why bold reimagination is so important, she says. In
- 14:41Speaker 1: other words, she's saying, Joe Biden, you're full of crap.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I can't disagree with her on that. I can't far less.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Congresswoman's also pushing a proposal by fellow Democratic Representative Jaya
- 14:53Speaker 1: Paul demanding the US let in refugees fleeing an area
- 14:57Speaker 1: due to climate change. They've now decide to call them
- 15:00Speaker 1: climate refugees. So and again, this is a liberal logic.
- 15:06Speaker 1: You want people to be able to come to our
- 15:07Speaker 1: border and get in in definitely because you say you're
- 15:09Speaker 1: from coming from area that's dealing with climate change. And
- 15:13Speaker 1: you also want to blast the administration for reopening these
- 15:16Speaker 1: cages and shipping container rooms for uncomming miners and Carrizo Springs,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Texas and another shelter in Miami that you're now calling
- 15:26Speaker 1: a homestead. Quote, this is not okay, never has been okay,
- 15:33Speaker 1: never will be okay, no matter the administration or party.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I cannot disagree with her on that hypocrisy of the media.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Do I think the Partmentency Homeland Security should exist? Of course?
- 15:43Speaker 1: I think ICE needs to exist, of course. But the
- 15:49Speaker 1: point that AOC is making here that this is this
- 15:53Speaker 1: is total bs and she and by the way, she
- 15:55Speaker 1: needs to start calling out the media. The Washington Post
- 15:58Speaker 1: tweeted out first migrant facility for children open under Biden.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She writes, it's not okay, never okay, never will be okay,
- 16:03Speaker 1: no matter the administration or party. And she's right. If
- 16:06Speaker 1: you're going to be consistent with this is a concentration camp,
- 16:09Speaker 1: then you need to be consistent with it's a concentration camp.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Second thing I have to cover today because I cannot
- 16:19Speaker 1: let this go. There has been a hearing going on
- 16:22Speaker 1: all week long about the insurrection at the Capitol on
- 16:25Speaker 1: January the six and now we have the Democratic Party
- 16:28Speaker 1: saying we're gonna have a nine to eleven commission to
- 16:29Speaker 1: investigate this. And the world is ending because of January
- 16:33Speaker 1: the sixth, and we got to take away conservatives from TV.
- 16:35Speaker 1: They're now demanding that Viacom and Comcast and Exfinity and
- 16:40Speaker 1: AT and T get rid of Fox News and OA
- 16:44Speaker 1: N and Newsmax. And you can't allow them to have
- 16:46Speaker 1: their propaganda on the airwaves. They sent that letter. One
- 16:51Speaker 1: of the Democrats' narratives went up in flames. The now
- 16:57Speaker 1: fired ex Capitol Police chief Stephen's son says he had
- 17:02Speaker 1: intel that Antifa was part of the January six attacks.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Nobody in the media, by the way, is covering this.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And this is the Capitol hearing on January the six
- 17:13Speaker 1: and the ex Capitol Police chief dropped a bombshell and
- 17:17Speaker 1: lawmakers on Tuesday. In his opening statement during a hearing
- 17:20Speaker 1: before the Senate Rules and Home in Security Committees, mister
- 17:23Speaker 1: Sun testified that according to intelligence gathered by law enforcement groups,
- 17:28Speaker 1: members are the Proud Boys, White Supremacy Group and TIFA
- 17:32Speaker 1: and other extremist groups were expected to participate on January
- 17:35Speaker 1: the sixth, and that they may be inclined to become violent. Well,
- 17:39Speaker 1: that's kind of important. The democratic media completely ignored eye
- 17:44Speaker 1: witness accounts de telling how black black Antifa terrorists infiltrate
- 17:49Speaker 1: the peaceful MAGA demonstrations. According to a former AMPI agent
- 17:53Speaker 1: on the ground the US Capital, at least one busload
- 17:56Speaker 1: of Antifa goons infiltrate the Trump rally as part of
- 17:59Speaker 1: the flag operation, he said. Senator Ron Johnson, Republican from Wisconsin,
- 18:05Speaker 1: on Tuesday entered into the record this testimony of eyewitnesses
- 18:10Speaker 1: accounts from Michael Waller detailing how he saw agent provocateurs
- 18:15Speaker 1: at the Capitol. He said, I saw these people who
- 18:20Speaker 1: were there for no other reason but to be agitators. Now,
- 18:25Speaker 1: Michael Waller, a senior analyst for strategy at the Center
- 18:28Speaker 1: for Security policy specializing in propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare,
- 18:33Speaker 1: and subversion. Said he was at the Capron January the sixth,
- 18:36Speaker 1: and he witnessed quote plain clothe militants, militant aggressive men,
- 18:40Speaker 1: and Donald Trump and magagear at a front line police
- 18:43Speaker 1: line at the base of the temporary presidential inauguration platform.
- 18:48Speaker 1: He said he saw scattered groups of men exhorting the
- 18:50Speaker 1: marchers to gather closely and tightly towards the center of
- 18:53Speaker 1: the outside the Capitol building and prevent them from leaving.
- 18:58Speaker 1: He said he saw fake Prump Trump pro testers, young
- 19:01Speaker 1: men wearing Maga Maga hats backwards who did not fit
- 19:04Speaker 1: in with arrest the crowd in terms of their actions
- 19:06Speaker 1: and demeanor, who clearly he presumed to be Antifa, other
- 19:11Speaker 1: leftist agitators, and a column of organized discipline men wearing
- 19:17Speaker 1: similar but not ideological camouflage uniforms and black gear, some
- 19:21Speaker 1: with helmets and GoPro cameras or wearing subdued punish your
- 19:25Speaker 1: skull patches. Well known Antifa insurgent leader General Sullivan was
- 19:31Speaker 1: arrested in Utah to the Capitol Riots and TIVA protester
- 19:35Speaker 1: John Sullivan was caught on video posing as a Trump
- 19:37Speaker 1: supporter during the riot at the US Capital in January
- 19:40Speaker 1: the sixth. Despite all the reports indicating that Antifa played
- 19:44Speaker 1: a role in the January six riots, the media is
- 19:47Speaker 1: continuing to blame Donald Trump, saying this is only Trump supporters.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Stephen's son's testimony on Tuesday poke more holes in this
- 19:56Speaker 1: democratic media narrative that the riot was quote all Donald
- 20:00Speaker 1: Trump's fault, All Trump's fault. Take a list into what
- 20:04Speaker 1: he actually said and the only by early person I've
- 20:06Speaker 1: seen it so far that's covered this from the former
- 20:09Speaker 1: US Capitol police chief in charge on January the sixth,
- 20:13Speaker 1: the Capitol is c SPAN. Thank you for allowing me
- 20:21Speaker 1: the opportunity to testify before your two committees regarding the
- 20:24Speaker 1: attack on the United States Capital that occurred January sixth.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I've been in policing for almost thirty years. The events
- 20:31Speaker 1: I witnessed on January sixth was the worst attack on
- 20:34Speaker 1: law enforcement and our democracy that I've seen in my
- 20:37Speaker 1: entire career. I witnessed insurgents beating police officers with fists, pipes, sticks, bats,
- 20:45Speaker 1: metal barricades, and flagpoles. These criminals came prepared for war.
- 20:51Speaker 1: They came with their own radio system to coordinate the attack,
- 20:53Speaker 1: and climbing gear and other equipment to defeat the Capital's
- 20:56Speaker 1: security features. I am sickened by what I witness that day.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Our officers fought valiantly, using batons, shields, chemical communitions, and
- 21:06Speaker 1: pepper ball guns to hold back the attackers. Capital Police
- 21:10Speaker 1: and responding law enforcement agencies showed tremendous restraint by not
- 21:14Speaker 1: using their firearms, which would have likely led to a
- 21:17Speaker 1: more chaotic situation and a possible mass casually incident. No
- 21:21Speaker 1: civilian law enforcement agency, to include the United States Capital Police,
- 21:26Speaker 1: is trained or equipped to repel an insurrection of thousands
- 21:29Speaker 1: of individuals focused on breaching and building at all costs.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I am extremely proud and appreciative of the Capital Police officers,
- 21:37Speaker 1: the Metropolitan Police Department, and the other law enforcement agencies
- 21:40Speaker 1: that came to our assistance. A clear lack of accurate
- 21:44Speaker 1: and complete intelligence across several federal agencies contributed to this event,
- 21:48Speaker 1: and not poor planning by the United States Capital Police.
- 21:51Speaker 1: We rely on accurate information from our federal partners to
- 21:54Speaker 1: help us develop effective security plans. The intelligence that we
- 21:59Speaker 1: based our planning on indicated that the January sixth. Protests
- 22:02Speaker 1: were expected to be similar to the previous MAGA rallies
- 22:05Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, which drew tens of thousands of participants.
- 22:09Speaker 1: The assessment indicated that members of the Proud Boys, white
- 22:13Speaker 1: supremacist groups, ANTIFA, and other extremist groups were expected to
- 22:17Speaker 1: participate on January sixth, and that they may be inclined
- 22:20Speaker 1: to become violent. Based on the intelligence that we received,
- 22:23Speaker 1: we planned for an increased level of violence at the
- 22:26Speaker 1: Capitol and that some participants may be armed, but none
- 22:30Speaker 1: of the intelligence we received predicted what actually occurred. Extensive
- 22:36Speaker 1: preparations were put into place for January sixth, then included
- 22:39Speaker 1: the full activation of the Department, intelligence and information sharing
- 22:43Speaker 1: with our federal and local partners, and department officials, implementing
- 22:48Speaker 1: a significant enhancement for member protection, extensive operational enhancements to
- 22:53Speaker 1: include significant civil disobedience deployment, and an expanded perimeter. We
- 22:58Speaker 1: also distributed additional protective equipment for our officers and coordinated
- 23:02Speaker 1: and coordinated outside agency support. As recent as Tuesday, January fifth,
- 23:08Speaker 1: during a meeting I hosted with my executive team, the
- 23:11Speaker 1: Capitol Police Board, and a dozen of the top law
- 23:14Speaker 1: enforcement and military officials from DC. No entity, including the FBI,
- 23:19Speaker 1: provided any new intelligence regarding January sixth. It should be
- 23:23Speaker 1: also noted that the Secretary of Homeland Security did not
- 23:26Speaker 1: issue an elevated or eminent alert in reference to the
- 23:29Speaker 1: events at the United States Capital on January sixth. Wow,
- 23:33Speaker 1: isn't that amazing? Isn't it amazing that he says everything
- 23:37Speaker 1: that you just said there and nobody in the media
- 23:39Speaker 1: seems to be willing to cover this, like like media
- 23:42Speaker 1: totally silence over this. Pretty impressive, isn't it. I mean,
- 23:46Speaker 1: it's just, oh yeah, it's just you know, no big deal.
- 23:52Speaker 1: His testimony right there that you just heard is telling
- 23:56Speaker 1: you that you got a bunch of people that were
- 23:57Speaker 1: in this group, a bunch of people in this group
- 24:03Speaker 1: that clearly we're not Trump supporters, and nobody's covering it,
- 24:08Speaker 1: telling you that there's a clear lack of accurate and
- 24:10Speaker 1: complete intelligence across several federal agencies contribute to this event,
- 24:14Speaker 1: not poor planning by the United States Capitol Police. You'd
- 24:20Speaker 1: think somebody would want to report on this, wouldn't you.
- 24:23Speaker 1: No one is because it doesn't fit the narrative. Remember,
- 24:27Speaker 1: this has to be Trump supporters and Trump supporters only,
- 24:30Speaker 1: we can't tell the truth. That's not our job where
- 24:33Speaker 1: the media. Our job is to tell you that Donald Trump,
- 24:36Speaker 1: orange man and his supporters are evil white supremacists. That
- 24:39Speaker 1: should be silence, and we should take away the ability
- 24:42Speaker 1: for CNN or excuse me, for Fox News, for Newsmax
- 24:45Speaker 1: and Oeen to exists. And then we'll go after talk radio,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and then we'll go after podcasts, and we'll make sure
- 24:50Speaker 1: that none of these sobs have an outlet to say
- 24:52Speaker 1: anything that we disagree with. The facts are coming out
- 25:00Speaker 1: and the media is refusing to cover it. Ask yourself,
- 25:03Speaker 1: why don't forget? Please make sure you tell your friends
- 25:09Speaker 1: about this podcast. We do everything we can every day
- 25:12Speaker 1: to get all the best information out there for you,
