- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Yeo, man boy, God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How many times you know, we got through something without
- 2:33Speaker 1: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 1: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 1: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:46Speaker 1: struggling out here. But guess what, You're still going to work.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You you know, you live in check the check, but
- 2:52Speaker 1: but you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but you keep him up there somewhere. Every now, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: near one break, but he put two mo back up
- 3:00Speaker 1: there to look a little bit better. And you got
- 3:02Speaker 1: to get to spending them so it all works. And
- 3:05Speaker 1: then you got a lot of people who just can't
- 3:08Speaker 1: seem to mentally put it together as to you know,
- 3:14Speaker 1: why their life isn't in a position that they wanted
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be. We talked about this oftentimes, but I don't
- 3:20Speaker 1: want to try another angle with you to day. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 1: maybe it's you. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's you. Maybe it's no external force that's at fault,
- 3:34Speaker 1: like you keep making the excuse to be. You know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: so many people I hear, well, if this hadn't have
- 3:40Speaker 1: done this, if he hadn't have done that, if she
- 3:42Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I would have been further along.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I wasted all my time, my years with this man,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and he did this, and I could have been here,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and I could have been there, and this woman she
- 3:54Speaker 1: did this to meet them. She hadn't have done that.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I could have been here, and I could have been there.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Maybe it's you. Maybe it's not really that external force
- 4:04Speaker 1: that you keep making it out to be. See, I've
- 4:08Speaker 1: done this to myself before. Once again, I'm talking to
- 4:13Speaker 1: you about something I know about. I've done this to
- 4:16Speaker 1: myself before. I've had the reason I wasn't where I
- 4:21Speaker 1: wanted to be. I had it figured out as some
- 4:24Speaker 1: external force. I had worked it out in my mind.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Clearly it wasn't me. Because if so and so, or
- 4:33Speaker 1: if this hadn't happened, and if they hadn't have done this,
- 4:36Speaker 1: I would have been further along up the road. That's
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I was saying. But WOLDO hold on, man. But
- 4:42Speaker 1: I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See, if you don't
- 4:47Speaker 1: ever let it go, it's gonna be hard for you
- 4:52Speaker 1: to go. If you don't ever let it go, it's
- 4:58Speaker 1: gonna be hard you to go. I was listening to
- 5:02Speaker 1: Bishop td Jake's one day, and I heard him say,
- 5:07Speaker 1: you can't drive your car if you're gonna keep looking
- 5:12Speaker 1: in the rearview mirror. You go outside and try that,
- 5:16Speaker 1: try to drive your car. But keep your eye in
- 5:18Speaker 1: the rearview mirror. All you looking at is where you're being.
- 5:23Speaker 1: All you looking at in that rear view mirror is
- 5:25Speaker 1: where you're passed or should have passed, something you should
- 5:29Speaker 1: have moved on from. All you're doing is looking in
- 5:32Speaker 1: that rearview mirror at what happened back there. If you
- 5:37Speaker 1: don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're gonna crash
- 5:40Speaker 1: your car over and over and over again. All you
- 5:45Speaker 1: got to slow it down so bad in order for
- 5:49Speaker 1: you to keep looking in that rearview mirror. If you
- 5:54Speaker 1: don't learn to let it go, it's gonna be hard
- 5:58Speaker 1: for you to go forward because you keep reviewing the past.
- 6:05Speaker 1: The past is the past, and I know it's hard. Man.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I watched a show and this lady said, well, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: just can't ever forgive them for that, or guess what.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Guess what God may have already forgiven that person. That
- 6:21Speaker 1: person may be extremely remorseful, could have gone to God
- 6:24Speaker 1: and Godden forgiveness for it years ago. But you you
- 6:30Speaker 1: sit here and you keep hanging on to the back.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I can't ever forgive that, Mumm. Then I heard Bishop
- 6:37Speaker 1: Jakes come on the show one time, and say something
- 6:39Speaker 1: that really really struck on you keep drinking the poison,
- 6:44Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. He said that. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: just shook my head and went, Wow, you drinking the poison,
- 6:55Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is poison to you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness, when
- 7:09Speaker 1: you won't forgive a person, that person could be going
- 7:12Speaker 1: on with their life, made the right with God. Don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life now. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: make adjustments every time you see them. And it takes energy. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:26Speaker 1: much energy not to forgive too. If that ain't come
- 7:29Speaker 1: in the room, you got to avoid them. Stay over here.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh here they come. Now, you got to make a
- 7:35Speaker 1: situation over here. They come into the house. It's family reunion.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh here they come. And where they're gonna be in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the basement. I'm going to be on the third floor.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I want to go ahead and get some barbecue. She
- 7:44Speaker 1: out there at the barbecue, staying, Oh lord, I don't
- 7:46Speaker 1: want a barbecue. I just eat to take the salary.
- 7:48Speaker 1: People man take themselves all out of position, trying to
- 7:52Speaker 1: make adjustments when if you it would simplify your life,
- 7:57Speaker 1: if you would let just let it go. Maybe you
- 8:00Speaker 1: ain't where you need to be because of them external
- 8:03Speaker 1: forces altogether. Maybe you're not where you need to be
- 8:07Speaker 1: cause of you, because you won't let it go, you
- 8:11Speaker 1: won't move forward. Look at this, ladies, Let's say you've
- 8:15Speaker 1: been in a situation with him man for years. It
- 8:19Speaker 1: didn't work out. For whatever the reason, it just didn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: work out. I got, I got what you said he did.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I got what he did, I got all of that, YadA,
- 8:28Speaker 1: YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God get
- 8:33Speaker 1: you through it? Did not he allow you to survive it?
- 8:39Speaker 1: I got you, got some cuts on you, I got
- 8:42Speaker 1: you been a little bit bruised. But did he not
- 8:45Speaker 1: get you through it? So now that he's freed you
- 8:49Speaker 1: from it, now he didn't went on. He got a
- 8:50Speaker 1: whole an other family over that somewhere. He now he
- 8:54Speaker 1: trying to make it right because maybe he learned the
- 8:56Speaker 1: mistake he made and now he trying to be a
- 8:58Speaker 1: better man. He just trying to get it right now.
- 9:01Speaker 1: But you're sitting there holding onto it, You're drinking the poison,
- 9:05Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy. To die. So now, instead of
- 9:07Speaker 1: you enjoying the blessing of finally being free from a
- 9:10Speaker 1: situation that was not healthy for you, you create an
- 9:13Speaker 1: even more unhealthy situation in your mind by hating, by
- 9:18Speaker 1: having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Maybe you're even doing something to the other situation to
- 9:25Speaker 1: make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're drinking the poison,
- 9:30Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ought to be in life, not because of your
- 9:35Speaker 1: external forces, but maybe it's you. If you don't let
- 9:40Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You can't keep driving your car looking in the rear
- 9:47Speaker 1: view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the
- 9:52Speaker 1: other person. Forgiveness is for you to show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and us upon us to Steve Harvey Morning Show is
- 10:05Speaker 1: about to begin. A matter of fact, it has already begun.

- 10:12Speaker 1: I'm a want to say it's about to pop off.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But if I say that, I would be late. All
- 10:18Speaker 1: of this will be explained today on the Steve Harvey

- 11:57Speaker 1: the room and say hello to him and ask one
- 11:59Speaker 1: of them the dance. He asked one of them to
- 12:02Speaker 1: dance and stood up a little fine girl. He out
- 12:05Speaker 1: on the floor dancing. My other partner went over there
- 12:08Speaker 1: and asked the other girl to dance. And they went
- 12:11Speaker 1: out there, and ain't nobody left at the table, but
- 12:14Speaker 1: the one ain't nobody wanted dance. Only one left at
- 12:19Speaker 1: the table. But the girl was looking all sad and everything.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So I said, you know, I went on over and

- 21:32Speaker 1: years ago, I had an affair with the man I
- 21:34Speaker 1: met at the gym, and during the pandemic, I started
- 21:37Speaker 1: talking to him again. It was a way to pass
- 21:41Speaker 1: the time while my husband played his video games. We're
- 21:44Speaker 1: really good friends now and I want to kick it
- 21:46Speaker 1: with him sometime. Is this a recipe for disaster? Or
- 21:50Speaker 1: should I try it? What wouldn't you kick it with him?
- 21:55Speaker 1: What do you think his version of kicking it? It
- 22:00Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no damn video game while your husband
- 22:05Speaker 1: was playing video game, you was you was video vide cheating.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Since she's playing them games, I'm gonna go here and
- 22:13Speaker 1: play with something else too, Lady. Is it a recipe
- 22:17Speaker 1: for disaster? It already is. Yeah, And I just want
- 22:20Speaker 1: to let you know to um, I don't know if
- 22:22Speaker 1: you've noticed this, but your marriage is over with just
- 22:29Speaker 1: such a letter and videos? What is that about video games?
- 22:34Speaker 1: Well you better stop, all right? Moving on to T
- 22:40Speaker 1: money in Florida in a fort worth t money rights.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I know for a fact that my girlfriend and my
- 22:47Speaker 1: best friend have had sex, but I want to catch
- 22:49Speaker 1: them in the act. It's been ever month since I
- 22:52Speaker 1: saw the text messages on her phone and I have
- 22:56Speaker 1: all of her text messages coming to my iPad? Now?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Am I crazy for wanting proof? Should I go ahead
- 23:02Speaker 1: and end things? Now? What is your perk? Ass? Waiting
- 23:06Speaker 1: on him? He wants proofs, he got it, got messages? Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: I want to catch him in the a m he
- 23:15Speaker 1: wants everybody wants everybody. I don't. I don't know how
- 23:21Speaker 1: to respond to this. I'm too old for this. I

- 23:28Speaker 1: Type of Ye? Go ahead and should I just eating things. Stop, man,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I don't know what to say. Next letter ship all
- 23:37Speaker 1: right mo and the DMB moving on says I'm a
- 23:40Speaker 1: single parent. I let I let my son's girlfriend spend
- 23:43Speaker 1: the night at our house on weekend sometimes to get
- 23:47Speaker 1: off campus and do her laundry. They're both nineteen, but
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't condone them sleeping in the same room. She
- 23:53Speaker 1: decided to have a talk with me about sheltering my son.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Should I ban her from staying here? Well, you can
- 24:01Speaker 1: ban it from standing there, but you ain't been a
- 24:03Speaker 1: band nothing now. You don't do what they want to do.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't know who this young girl is that thinks
- 24:09Speaker 1: she's been walking this old black woman's house and had
- 24:11Speaker 1: this talk about how to raise their boy once again.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You know what these these questions this morning? Uh maybe
- 24:23Speaker 1: it's the mood I mean today, but I don't. I
- 24:28Speaker 1: don't know, because culturally speaking, I don't know. I don't
- 24:31Speaker 1: know why you would write this in and ask me.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Y'all know, good in hair well, who I am? I ain't.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I ain't made no bones about who I am and
- 24:41Speaker 1: high am since we've been on this show. You don't
- 24:43Speaker 1: goodn't hear? Well? I wish one of my kids friends
- 24:47Speaker 1: wood it coming and ask me why a picture is
- 24:52Speaker 1: hanging on that wall. I don't damn, you can't ask
- 24:56Speaker 1: me nothing but what's behind this wall? Mind? So I
- 25:02Speaker 1: want to talk to you about raising your son and
- 25:04Speaker 1: being so sheltered. Well, quick dating this little podcasting, Tommy
- 25:11Speaker 1: asked your uncle a question, ask him something to see
- 25:18Speaker 1: how he'll react to the laundry. Do you think I mean,
- 25:23Speaker 1: don't you think you're just going a little too far
- 25:26Speaker 1: with him? I mean we ought to be at at
- 25:27Speaker 1: least stay in the same room when we come over here.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Don't you think so? You think I'm going a little
- 25:32Speaker 1: too far? Well, let me ask you a question. I
- 25:36Speaker 1: actually can put this foot even deeper in your book.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm going too far. I ain't going as far as
- 25:48Speaker 1: I can as to me, what, lady? What? All right?
- 25:53Speaker 1: We're moving on. We're moving on to Alicia and Foley.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Alicia says, I've been married for two and a half years.
- 26:00Speaker 1: My husband had a work trip to Chicago, so I
- 26:03Speaker 1: asked him to pick up a specific purse I saw online.
- 26:07Speaker 1: He said he had the bag ship to me from
- 26:09Speaker 1: the store. I received the bag, but it came from
- 26:12Speaker 1: New York. The Chicago store has no record of the transaction.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Is he lying about where he went? You got the bag,
- 26:20Speaker 1: didn't you? Times bags have to come from other places. Okay,
- 26:30Speaker 1: now the man say to Chicago, but the bag came
- 26:32Speaker 1: from New York. So the bag came from New York.
- 26:37Speaker 1: What what you got the bag? How that's cheating? What
- 26:42Speaker 1: she was she asking for the bag to see where
- 26:45Speaker 1: he was? Was that was that she wanted the bag? No,
- 26:50Speaker 1: she definitely wanted that bag. Women, Come on now, tell yeah, yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 1: damn if you got to go down and get it
- 27:08Speaker 1: at the cracker barrel, that is it. Yeah. So maybe
- 27:16Speaker 1: you called the Chicago store, Come on, lady, but maybe
- 27:21Speaker 1: they were sold out and they called the New York
- 27:23Speaker 1: stuff they probably didn't have. Yeah, they probably happen. Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 1: it happens all the time. Askwee. Yeah, people in Chicago
- 27:33Speaker 1: nothing to get the credit. The person's gonna come from
- 27:35Speaker 1: New York. That person gonna get the credit. So they
- 27:38Speaker 1: could have made They don't have to have a record
- 27:40Speaker 1: of the transaction. You got to pay the New York
- 27:43Speaker 1: How about back? How about I send it back? Since
- 27:46Speaker 1: you're so worried about when it came. How about I
- 27:48Speaker 1: sent it back. There was no transaction in Chicago. It
- 27:53Speaker 1: was only in New York. Wow, you got lined bag hot?
- 27:57Speaker 1: He bought it off the street. It's hot, a bag
- 28:06Speaker 1: that very hot. To rock your bag. Don't be worried. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 1: not yet. That was the last one. Any more advice
- 28:18Speaker 1: on the bag. No, I don't really think there's anything
- 28:23Speaker 1: left to say about this damn bag. And I don't
- 28:25Speaker 1: think why you read about where the damn bag came from. Okay, well,
- 28:29Speaker 1: let's go back to MO and the DMV, the with
- 28:31Speaker 1: the nineteen year old that UH asked asked him questions
- 28:37Speaker 1: thing that her son was sheltered too much. Come on,
- 28:42Speaker 1: tell me you gotta don't you don't you think you
- 28:44Speaker 1: need to let this boy out and be a little
- 28:46Speaker 1: bit more than what he is because you just you
- 28:47Speaker 1: kept him sheltered all his life. That's why he don't
- 28:50Speaker 1: really know much. I'm just I'm just saying, I'm just
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm just just seemed like he learned an awful lot
- 28:55Speaker 1: from dating the biggest trick down there on the case.
- 29:01Speaker 1: What else? All right, let them coming up, Thank you, cello,
- 29:06Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have

- 30:26Speaker 1: real uh and Mississippi Monica for always mentioning the jeilg Show,
- 30:34Speaker 1: and for watching them, for Junior and Tommy, who are
- 30:38Speaker 1: you know blazing trails themselves or you know, things with
- 30:43Speaker 1: that nature. That's all my Oscar speech. Thank you to
- 30:49Speaker 1: George Steve. Tonight, I solve another taste seventh Central. But
- 30:59Speaker 1: and that's the way I see it. Yeah, they were,
- 31:02Speaker 1: they were. They was in my ear telling me something else,
- 31:06Speaker 1: and I just said, well, you know, because a couple
- 31:08Speaker 1: of times I gave some verdicts they didn't really agree with,
- 31:11Speaker 1: not just told well, hell, that's the way I see it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's the tagline. I started saying it on TV, and
- 31:19Speaker 1: you have to say that every time. Now. Yeah, Okay,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I was just y'all at the production meeting just to
- 31:24Speaker 1: get y'all off me again. Dall do it? Yeah? Tonight,
- 31:31Speaker 1: eight seventh Central on ABC and Hulu. Yeah, all right,
- 31:35Speaker 1: Court is now in session and we're gonna switch it
- 31:38Speaker 1: over to Carla here with today's music news. What you
- 31:40Speaker 1: got Carla? All right? Well, first of all, we know
- 31:43Speaker 1: the Grammy's happening this Sunday, April third, this time in
- 31:47Speaker 1: Las Vegas at the m Yeah, hosted by Trevor Noah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: and we all know that the Grammys recently dropped Kanye
- 31:57Speaker 1: as a performer because he called Trevor a racist slur
- 32:01Speaker 1: on Instagram. Trevor responded by saying he wanted to cancel Kanye,
- 32:07Speaker 1: not cancel him, and he had nothing to do with
- 32:10Speaker 1: Kanye being dropped from the Grammys as a performer. So
- 32:13Speaker 1: there you go. So we'll be checking it out the
- 32:15Speaker 1: Grammys this Sunday and other music news. Well, last year,
- 32:18Speaker 1: the Versus Battle on Easter Sunday was hosted by our
- 32:22Speaker 1: barry own Steve Harvey. You remember it was Earthway and
- 32:26Speaker 1: fire Right versus the Isley Brothers. It was an iconic
- 32:32Speaker 1: moment in music history. Well, this year, soup, Yes, yes,
- 32:37Speaker 1: the Versus Battle is set Easter Sunday, BB and CC
- 32:42Speaker 1: Winans versus Mary. Mary were going to check. Yes, Yes,
- 32:49Speaker 1: it's gonna be really good. Yeah, so we'll be watching.
- 32:53Speaker 1: April seventeenth is Easter Sunday. Yes, Gospel versus BB and
- 33:00Speaker 1: more Mary. I'm gonna tell y'all right now, the older
- 33:02Speaker 1: you has been watching the verses. This ain't the verses
- 33:05Speaker 1: to cusso watch the comments to be careful. Some of
- 33:13Speaker 1: y'all ain't been in church in a while. You're little
- 33:15Speaker 1: ignorant with you're little trolling all right, Hell ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:21Speaker 1: miss a and trip. Okay, thanks guys and good morning.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Well I know you want to know the latest on
- 33:26Speaker 1: this story, so let's just get with it. The Motion
- 33:28Speaker 1: Picture Academy's Board of Governors held an emergency meeting yesterday.
- 33:32Speaker 1: They say they're going to be starting official disciplinary proceedings
- 33:35Speaker 1: on the status of Will Smith. The Oscar winning actor,
- 33:37Speaker 1: could face suspension, expulsion, or other sanctions. Smith has fifteen
- 33:42Speaker 1: days to make his case to the board by means
- 33:44Speaker 1: of a written response he doesn't appear in person, and
- 33:47Speaker 1: then on April eighteenth, which is when the board meets again,
- 33:50Speaker 1: they're going to take a vote and announce what action
- 33:52Speaker 1: they've decided to take. Now. Rescinding his oscar, however, would
- 33:56Speaker 1: be kind of hard to explain, because serial sex abuser
- 34:00Speaker 1: Mary Weinstein's got to keep his oscar, and so the
- 34:02Speaker 1: filmmaker Roman Polanski, who you may remember or may not,
- 34:06Speaker 1: was convicted of raping a thirteen year old girl and
- 34:08Speaker 1: who skipped the country to avoid jail, he kept his oscar.
- 34:11Speaker 1: A number of Will Smith's fans take issue with the
- 34:13Speaker 1: description of the slap as being the show's most violent
- 34:17Speaker 1: episode ever. Some Native Americans, for instance, say they're reminded
- 34:21Speaker 1: of John Wayne's behavior at the nineteen seventy three Oscars.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Marlon Brando let a Native American girl named Sashen Little
- 34:29Speaker 1: Feather accept his award and what she did. She use
- 34:32Speaker 1: the time to talk about how moviemakers dehumanize her people
- 34:36Speaker 1: and to ask them to please stop doing that. John
- 34:39Speaker 1: Wayne stood up, tried to get on stage and had
- 34:42Speaker 1: to be restrained. The story goes by six security guards
- 34:46Speaker 1: to keep him from jumping on and physically attacking the
- 34:49Speaker 1: twenty seven year old Native woman that was in nineteen
- 34:52Speaker 1: seventy three Oscars for John Wayne, and he gets to
- 34:55Speaker 1: keep his oscars. By the way, there is also Team
- 34:58Speaker 1: Will fifty cent and says he sides with Will Smith
- 35:02Speaker 1: over the whole slap thing. He issues a warning to
- 35:04Speaker 1: Chris Rock, saying, quote, don't you ever play with me?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Fitty does say though he does give Chris credit for
- 35:10Speaker 1: refusing to press charges, he does give him credit for that.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Nickim Naj also Team Will. She says quote, we had
- 35:16Speaker 1: a he had a front row seat to his wife's
- 35:18Speaker 1: pain and he reacted. Little Kim she says. Interesting. She says,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Will Smith has been hated on over twenty years, so
- 35:26Speaker 1: somebody had it coming. Meanwhile, sales for Chris Rock's comedy
- 35:29Speaker 1: to Our Soaring. He was on stage in Boston last night.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I'm still kind of processing what happened. I don't like
- 35:41Speaker 1: a bunch of what happened. So if he came here
- 35:47Speaker 1: that I'm not I had like a bull. So he
- 35:52Speaker 1: didn't really say anything. He plays the boy gather in
- 35:54Speaker 1: Atlantic City this weekend. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 35:56Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening Morning show? All right, So Will
- 36:02Speaker 1: Smith's family, including his sister and his mother, gathered to
- 36:06Speaker 1: watch the Oscars. They had an Oscar watch party. During
- 36:10Speaker 1: the recent interview with the ABC Philly, both Will's sister
- 36:14Speaker 1: and his mother, Miss Caroline, who's eighty five years old,
- 36:17Speaker 1: said she was surprised to see him go off on
- 36:19Speaker 1: Chris Rock Take a listen. Even Will's mother admits she
- 36:23Speaker 1: was surprised. He is a very even people person and
- 36:31Speaker 1: that's the first time I've ever seen him go off
- 36:35Speaker 1: the first time in his lifetime. It surprised you too, huh,
- 36:38Speaker 1: it did. That's a I've never seen him do that.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Will Smith's younger sister, Ellen says she's watched her brother
- 36:45Speaker 1: constantly excel under pressure and under the spotlight of Hollywood.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Everybody like has been bullied, you know, and abused, you know,
- 36:52Speaker 1: in some kind of way. And I totally understand. It's
- 36:56Speaker 1: like people are like, oh, I wish I was in
- 36:58Speaker 1: you know, such a such shoes, and oh those are
- 37:00Speaker 1: my goals and everything. It's like, but you really don't
- 37:02Speaker 1: know what it takes to get there. And I've had
- 37:04Speaker 1: conversations with him and it's like, it really kind of
- 37:07Speaker 1: broke my heart listening to the things that he said
- 37:10Speaker 1: he had to go through to get to where he is. Wow,
- 37:15Speaker 1: this is getting on my nerves, y'all. I mean, I
- 37:20Speaker 1: understand his mom saying what she's saying. I just won't
- 37:23Speaker 1: say something right here because we're talking about my mother. Now.
- 37:26Speaker 1: My mama wouldn't have been surprised by the damn thing.
- 37:31Speaker 1: My mama would have said in the interview. He just
- 37:34Speaker 1: like his daddy. So as far as what his sister said,
- 37:43Speaker 1: it is true it is hard to get here, but
- 37:46Speaker 1: it don't excuse nothing. It's hard to climb the corporate
- 37:50Speaker 1: ladder in America. Yeah, but don't it don't give you
- 37:54Speaker 1: the right to do. Look, I understand the saying pressure
- 37:58Speaker 1: buster pipe. That wasn't a pipe busting moment. No, the
- 38:05Speaker 1: problem is the problem is internal and their family, and
- 38:09Speaker 1: they got to fix that within themselves. That's that's what
- 38:12Speaker 1: it is. And you can I don't care about you
- 38:15Speaker 1: putting it all the table talk this and that. We
- 38:17Speaker 1: ain't even got to see that. Y'all got to fix
- 38:19Speaker 1: this by y'allselves. You mean, Will and his wife, Will
- 38:22Speaker 1: and his wife, y'all got to fix y'all's issue. That's
- 38:26Speaker 1: that's what this is. Yeah. And by that point and
- 38:35Speaker 1: got out of that what I'm sorry, did I say?
- 38:45Speaker 1: Timy flew it on problem jet My bad. Will. Mom
- 38:51Speaker 1: went on to say that she urged Will to get
- 38:54Speaker 1: some rest and to go on vacation. Yeah, so that'll
- 38:58Speaker 1: do them good. Yeah, M So there you go take yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 1: M to snap like that. Yeah, all right, coming up
- 39:11Speaker 1: with thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna check
- 39:13Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right
- 39:17Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show it is time now
- 39:23Speaker 1: to check Steve's voicemail. Wonder what some people's minds. If
- 39:27Speaker 1: you'd like to leave Steve's voicemail, call him at eight
- 39:30Speaker 1: seven seven nine Steve and you can hear your message
- 39:34Speaker 1: on the air with us. All right, Steve, you ready? Uh,
- 39:37Speaker 1: this one's from Donald and Nashville. He wants to talk
- 39:40Speaker 1: about the spot the slap Yo Steve vod Morning Show.
- 39:44Speaker 1: This is Donald Man. I didn't have a couple of
- 39:47Speaker 1: questions real quick. Everybody's winning Will smithfop for was Ax.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm not saying the manxs all right, but everybody's descending
- 39:54Speaker 1: Chris Rock saying that, well, I don't think he's new.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But whose ir position to say? I don't think you
- 40:00Speaker 1: You don't know if he knew or not? So what
- 40:02Speaker 1: the man did know's making a joke? And who has
- 40:05Speaker 1: the right to tell? Will the offended what to be
- 40:08Speaker 1: offended by? When it comes to his wife? If the
- 40:10Speaker 1: man took a joke personal, does he not have the
- 40:13Speaker 1: right I'm not saying he's rights for hitting the man
- 40:15Speaker 1: on stage, but does the man have the right to
- 40:17Speaker 1: defending his wife if he's offendished by something he proceeds
- 40:21Speaker 1: as a joke about medical condition? And everybody's saying they
- 40:23Speaker 1: don't think Chris no, but nobody knows if Chris know
- 40:26Speaker 1: what If Chris did know it publicly dispected his man
- 40:30Speaker 1: wife on national TV in front of the whole world.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Please have it that well. I said in my initial
- 40:37Speaker 1: response that I was torn because I'm all about defending
- 40:40Speaker 1: my wife to what if he did know, I know
- 40:47Speaker 1: for a fact he didn't. I'm just gonna leave it
- 40:49Speaker 1: at that. I know for a fact he didn't know that. Secondly,
- 40:56Speaker 1: that wasn't the way to handle it to me. That's
- 41:00Speaker 1: the truth, right, if you go checking facts, I'd have
- 41:03Speaker 1: waited to write conversed commercial break right, Yeah, I got
- 41:07Speaker 1: about my seat, went around there, hey man, and then
- 41:12Speaker 1: and then and then and then and then went at
- 41:14Speaker 1: it from there. But I just thought it was not
- 41:16Speaker 1: the right way to het. I'm waiting because I don't
- 41:19Speaker 1: want no ever dance. I can't let anybody see me
- 41:21Speaker 1: whoop your ass on thing. I don't want no everdence.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I don't want to wait talk, get you behind this
- 41:26Speaker 1: state and don't nobody to see you. That's what I want.
- 41:28Speaker 1: But I don't want no ever dance, and they don't.
- 41:31Speaker 1: You ain't gonnait to do nothing, say nothing, press no
- 41:34Speaker 1: charges me and you want on want we deal with it?
- 41:36Speaker 1: By the way, I'll be in Nashville, dog if you
- 41:38Speaker 1: want to come by and being I got six shows,
- 41:40Speaker 1: go ahead about Sean from Savannah also wants to talk
- 41:48Speaker 1: about the slap Steve Hey, Steve This Sean from Savannah, Georgia,
- 41:53Speaker 1: and I saw the whole escapade in the oscars, and
- 41:57Speaker 1: I honestly can say, no, man don't know what he'll
- 42:02Speaker 1: do in that situation until it arrives. True. That's true too, well, no,
- 42:10Speaker 1: that's not true. You don't think so. I know me.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I know me now, but I wouldn't have went up
- 42:20Speaker 1: on that stage at that particular moment over that joke.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I wouldn't have probably would have dealt with it backstage, right.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I also know when you slap me your ass say
- 42:32Speaker 1: if you turn around, it's just gonna happen behind. That's
- 42:35Speaker 1: all I got to say. You know that you findn't
- 42:38Speaker 1: get your head kicked down them steps. I bet you
- 42:40Speaker 1: get down them steps way faster than you came up.
- 42:43Speaker 1: But you know what, you know, we like my man
- 42:46Speaker 1: saying you saying that. But but I think Chris was
- 42:49Speaker 1: in shock. It was just like what he'll just happened.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I don't know if you If you just I don't
- 42:57Speaker 1: think he was in shot because he just mentioned what
- 42:59Speaker 1: happened and Will Smith just lapped bat him. Chris, Chris
- 43:04Speaker 1: handled it the right way. Like Chris, I would have
- 43:07Speaker 1: handled it the wrong way, just like I would have
- 43:11Speaker 1: handled the joke the other way too, So you know,
- 43:17Speaker 1: But everybody, you know, I understand what the brother saying.
- 43:20Speaker 1: You don't know what it to happen until it happened
- 43:22Speaker 1: to you. But based on my experience at my age level,
- 43:29Speaker 1: I do know that when you slap me there will
- 43:32Speaker 1: be an instant set of consequences because it always has
- 43:37Speaker 1: been up to this post. Now I don't know what
- 43:39Speaker 1: didn't happened to me is sixty five that's gonna change that.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But every time I've been slapped previously, it has resulted
- 43:48Speaker 1: in a full fledghed incident. I haven't slapped several times.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I've been slap punched kick every time? What a sit?
- 44:02Speaker 1: All right? If you want to leave a message for Steve,
- 44:04Speaker 1: call his voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine Steve,

- 44:24Speaker 1: the subject is loving in all the wrong places. We'll
- 44:28Speaker 1: get into that in just a bit. And Nephew tell
- 44:30Speaker 1: me we're gonna get to your prank phone call as well.

- 44:37Speaker 1: This is a female about the slap. Ah. Yes, Steve Harvey,
- 44:42Speaker 1: don't try to take up for a weal smiff. In
- 44:45Speaker 1: a round about way, he was wrong for slapping at men,
- 44:50Speaker 1: and you let him get away with that. The next
- 44:54Speaker 1: time he may slap you anyway with it because he
- 45:04Speaker 1: might away you will Will by lady. I, First of all,
- 45:10Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. I was defending
- 45:12Speaker 1: Will and around about way. I don't know. I don't
- 45:14Speaker 1: know who you are. Let's just get to this part
- 45:16Speaker 1: right here. He might slap you. He I can be slapped,
- 45:21Speaker 1: Ain't no doubt about that. I'm not above it. It
- 45:24Speaker 1: has happened to me before. You might slap me, but
- 45:28Speaker 1: the aftermath until my heavily father created me. He and
- 45:35Speaker 1: all angels, tell you his black ass is coming right
- 45:41Speaker 1: after you slap me. I don't know how to be
- 45:43Speaker 1: nothing else. So, lady, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 45:46Speaker 1: You know, a matter of fact, lose enough, don't die.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It's not a little but didn't operate where he might
- 45:55Speaker 1: get his ass or I might get mine. But he's
- 45:58Speaker 1: gonna be some swooping and going on god light, breaking stage.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I'm knocked over TV cameras. I'm just don't know me.

- 47:47Speaker 1: doing yoga, yes, sir, I definitely do. I make enough
- 47:49Speaker 1: definitely to cover the red that's for sure. Dad shouldn't
- 47:52Speaker 1: be a problem. I know, I know a little bit
- 47:54Speaker 1: about yoga. That's that. I mean, really, if it's y'all,
- 47:56Speaker 1: you know you're not making no noise. That's yoga. That's

- 48:32Speaker 1: bathroom and uh yeah, like a fifty to do a
- 48:34Speaker 1: credit check, you know, we meet, Um, I can do
- 48:37Speaker 1: the background check and uh no, no, what what what? What? What? What? What?
- 48:42Speaker 1: What do you necessarily need to do that for? Well,
- 48:44Speaker 1: you gotta know who you're rent too, and then you
- 48:45Speaker 1: want to know what the credit they got, so if
- 48:47Speaker 1: they can afford the rent or not. You know, I

- 49:09Speaker 1: say about that is this, it might be something on
- 49:11Speaker 1: there about like when I was on the East Coast.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You know, I was actually teaching uh, naked yoga. You
- 49:17Speaker 1: know what I mean, naked yoga. You know you might
- 49:19Speaker 1: see something on there about me being a nip naked

- 49:25Speaker 1: I was teaching on the East Coast, was naked yoga,
- 49:27Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And everybody might teach naked
- 49:29Speaker 1: yoga here. What but see it's in the backyard. It's
- 49:31Speaker 1: closed in, you know, in the backyard, and you what
- 49:34Speaker 1: what what other glitz you got? You said? Just some glitches. Michael, Well,
- 49:37Speaker 1: what are the glitz you got? Well you might see

- 53:52Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject loving
- 53:57Speaker 1: in all the wrong places. You're Stephen Shirley. I'm ashamed
- 54:02Speaker 1: to even be writing to you, so don't judge me.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I'm a fifty two year old man and my lady
- 54:07Speaker 1: friend is fifteen years younger than I am. I met
- 54:10Speaker 1: her three months ago and we had sex on the
- 54:13Speaker 1: first date. It was a blind date, and my brother's
- 54:16Speaker 1: wife set me up on the date as a joke
- 54:18Speaker 1: because I'm known as a womanizer. I'm not proud of
- 54:22Speaker 1: that nickname. But in the past I would love them
- 54:25Speaker 1: and leave them. That's what I used to do, all right,
- 54:28Speaker 1: So as a joke, she told me that she had
- 54:31Speaker 1: the perfect woman for me. I was overjoyed when I
- 54:34Speaker 1: met this woman because she was straight up and said
- 54:37Speaker 1: she was ready to go to get to the good part,
- 54:40Speaker 1: which was sex. We finished eating and she asked if
- 54:43Speaker 1: I had any condoms. I thought she was amazing. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: didn't expect it to be anything but a one night stand,
- 54:50Speaker 1: but I was so amazed by what she did to
- 54:52Speaker 1: me and where she did it that I kept on
- 54:54Speaker 1: going back for more. The first night, she took me
- 54:57Speaker 1: down by the lake behind the restaurant and we has
- 55:00Speaker 1: sex on a picnic table. She sat on the table
- 55:03Speaker 1: and it probably looked like we were just hugging and kissing,
- 55:06Speaker 1: but I was all up under her dress. After that
- 55:09Speaker 1: first night we had we had been in a few times,
- 55:13Speaker 1: a few times in her bedroom, on her couch, and
- 55:16Speaker 1: on her back patio, but it's usually a spontaneous encounter
- 55:20Speaker 1: when we are out in public. I have had sex
- 55:23Speaker 1: in front of a hardware store, in the garden department,
- 55:25Speaker 1: in the bathroom of a coffee shop while a woman
- 55:28Speaker 1: was knocking on the door for us to hurry up
- 55:30Speaker 1: in my car, at work during my lunch break, and
- 55:33Speaker 1: one time at the movies. Recently, I'm too old to
- 55:36Speaker 1: go to jail for this kind of stuff, and the
- 55:39Speaker 1: anxiety makes it hard for me to perform. My sister
- 55:42Speaker 1: in law was right, this woman is too much for me.
- 55:45Speaker 1: How do I get her to have normal sex with me? Well? Well,
- 55:50Speaker 1: the fifty two year old player the ex womanizer is
- 55:54Speaker 1: caught up and tired after only three months. What happened? You? Simply,
- 56:01Speaker 1: you just met your match, that's all. It's okay. You
- 56:05Speaker 1: asked us not to judge you in the letter, but
- 56:08Speaker 1: it kind of does sound like you're bragging about all
- 56:10Speaker 1: the sex you're getting. And I thought one night stands.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I thought you guys didn't like one night stands, and
- 56:16Speaker 1: I thought they were just that one night. But now
- 56:20Speaker 1: you're tripping, You have anxiety making it hard for you
- 56:24Speaker 1: to perform. Why don't you just leave her alone? You
- 56:28Speaker 1: can't do that, can you? And she's not too young
- 56:31Speaker 1: for you just because she's fifteen years younger, she's thirty seven,
- 56:35Speaker 1: she's too much for you. She's obviously not the normal
- 56:39Speaker 1: sex kind of woman. So unless you can continue to
- 56:42Speaker 1: keep up with her sex capades, she's probably gonna be
- 56:45Speaker 1: out when she gets bored. But isn't that what you
- 56:48Speaker 1: used to do? You said that you used to love
- 56:50Speaker 1: them and leave them. M M. Doesn't feel good when
- 56:55Speaker 1: the shoe is on the other foot, now, does it,
- 56:58Speaker 1: does it? I think you should just, you know, let
- 57:02Speaker 1: her go because you can't keep up with her she's
- 57:05Speaker 1: way too much for you. Your sister in law knew it,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and here we are. You can't perform the way you
- 57:13Speaker 1: want to perform. Leave her alone. She's too much, Steve. Yeah,
- 57:19Speaker 1: nice trash, Shirley. You know. No, I'm not going on
- 57:21Speaker 1: with your answers, but I could tell you are very
- 57:23Speaker 1: uncomfortable responding to this letter right here. I, on the
- 57:27Speaker 1: other hand, have no problem with this type of letter.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I want to thank the brother for writing in loving
- 57:34Speaker 1: in all the wrong places here. He said he was
- 57:37Speaker 1: ashamed to even be right and then asked me not
- 57:41Speaker 1: to judge him. You're not getting here with what offenning

- 57:49Speaker 1: Steve am I not gonna judge you, boy. That's what
- 57:57Speaker 1: this letter is about. Now, you fifty two lady friend um,
- 58:03Speaker 1: fifteen years younger than me, younger than you. You went
- 58:05Speaker 1: out on a blind date. Now here's what was confusing
- 58:08Speaker 1: to me. Uh I met it was a blind date
- 58:12Speaker 1: and my brother's wife set it up as a joke.
- 58:16Speaker 1: What was the joke? I didn't I didn't get the
- 58:18Speaker 1: joke because she knows you could be a womanizer, right,
- 58:23Speaker 1: She set this date up as a joke. I don't
- 58:26Speaker 1: get the joke. Well, if you're a womanizer, and this
- 58:28Speaker 1: is a kind of woman she's setting you up with,
- 58:30Speaker 1: you ought to be able to handle it. Womanizers love
- 58:33Speaker 1: them and leave them. Okay, Well I would love them
- 58:38Speaker 1: and leave them. That's what I used to do. Love,
- 58:45Speaker 1: but I wanted what I used to do. You d
- 58:58Speaker 1: frick Then, I ain't eyes on you. It was whatever
- 59:11Speaker 1: games r oh. I had to lean back. I didn't
- 59:17Speaker 1: even see that coming. As soon as I read that line,
- 59:23Speaker 1: I would love them and leave them. You can't love boy.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I took a drink of water right then I almost
- 59:37Speaker 1: to do you. Yes, I ain't eyes on you down
- 59:59Speaker 1: all right, hold that note, Hold that note? Oh he
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: think he loving in the wrong places? I have some suggests. Okay,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all right, when we'll let part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: coming up with twenty three minutes after be our today's
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: strawberry letter subject loving and all the Wrong Places. We'll
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. Loving and all the Wrong
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Places is the subject? Well, your voice is tiring from
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: all that hollering. Oh that ain't nothing to me. Should
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: one more time? Hey, chilly o command, you won't even
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: want to stand see now, you you you you mean
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: what Tommy used to do? Notes and stuff? And then
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he called because that throw him off. I live my life, Holly,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: See Charlotte. I'm from the hood and I was skinned,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and when we moved to West Virginia, they used to
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: jump on us all the time because we used ther
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: kids from the country. I used to run at top speed,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: holling for my two brothers. Okay, all right, imagine running
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: top head back, knees up by your chain, all stroking
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Holly somebody. So you know I've had my whole life
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: like that. Anyway, he went on to meet this woman
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and they had sex on the first night. Uh. She
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: was straight up and saying she was ready to get
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to the good part. Oh. We finished eating and she
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: asked if I had any condo. I thought she was amazing.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I didn't expect to be anything but one night stand.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: But I was so amazed at what she did to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: me and where she did it. I kept coming back
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: from more. The first night, she took me down by
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: the lake behind the restaurant. We had sex on picnic table.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: That ain't nothing. I don't I don't even know what
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that is. That ain't at the picnic table. You know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: didn't he trusting him? She said, on the table, it
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: probably looked like we were just hugging and kiss him.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: But I was all up under the drip. Oh okay,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: do you ain't saying nothing right now? You know you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: you fitted to Jen, Look Jenn, Shirley did say, they're
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: just signding me like you just trying to brag about
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: where you having all this sex that after that first night,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: we had relations a few times in her bedroom, in
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: her bedroom and outside on her couch and everybody in
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: the hand all that you ain't saying now, You ain't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: throwing nobody there and on her back patio and ain't
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: a patio chair back there, ain't a lounger back there,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Chase lounge back there, pushions back then. I'm trying to
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I have not impressed, but as usual a spontaneous encounter
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: when we out in public. I've had sets in front
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: of a hogware store in the garden department and have you, Sharley,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: just this bar right here, want to impress me. I
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: have some ideas. You want to impress me. Tell me
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: something I don't know nothing about. In the bathroom at
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a coffee shop, that's the restaurant. And who ain't who
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: ain't been in the restaurantm who ain't been in the restaurant,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: coffee shop? Don't know the shop? What piece of hall
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: of what? What kitchen at the brown Derby? What? What?
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: What kitchen at the brown Derby? While they were cooking
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: other people food? What worked there? I didn't work now
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I came in through the back. What are you talking about? No?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: In the coffee shop, woman knocking on the door, fuss
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to her up? Everybody wants you to her up. You
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: in the bathroom, in my car, break or ain't been
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: in the car? And one time after movies, but movies
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: in the movie, making a movie, not making this in
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: the movie, watching the movie, making a movie. And he
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: fifted too, like all these like this is shocking to us.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Now if you ain't, if you've been a little flower
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: child on the wall and you ain't cute enough, you
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: might have missed all these opportunities. But I was never cute.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: But I had conversation, Oh, flowing off my tongue like butterscott.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I've been in some places sitting up in hill man.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: How about this right here, go down to basket and
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Robbins and do it on top of the ice cream.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Show me, but go down to basket Robbins. Flavor that
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: one flavor? Here, come third and two? Sitting up being here,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you want to impress me, do it on the top
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: of a fire hydrant. Now I'm amazed. Showed me something
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You ain't good. You ain't did. It's gonna hurt, I think.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: But what you want to impress somebody? But where you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: made love it? How about this right here? But you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: ain't never had love on the ladder while you was
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: cleaning out the leaves of the gutter that you ain't
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: had that wear that satang something on you to hand
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: some sex like you like you just missed the love boy.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: You ain't missed the live boy. How about having sex
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: on the coffee table with all hot coffee. Try you
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: showed me something. You still go down to crack a
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: barrel and get on top of the barrel. Now you're working.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: You want to impress me partly go down to the
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: waffle house and standing next to the dude they're calling
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: out the order and cooking it, braping that grease off
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: that thing you have it six. It's a weird place
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: there is. You didn't mean a little bit. Listen to
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: post your comments if you're a womanizing like on top
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: of the five Anti on the Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey.

- 1:06:37Speaker 1: after me Junior and sports Talk right after this. You're
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here's
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Junior now with Sports Talk. What you got Junior? Okay, Shirley,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: But tomorrow night, you gotta let the people know Dallas
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: is here. Abra Fool's Comedy Jam at the Texas Trust,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: THEE and ticketmaster dot Com, earth Quake Bruce Bruce Bill
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Belling Me myself, Ryan Davis, and Chantey Ways. We're being
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to build it and it's gonna be a different type
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: of show. No running up, please, you don't want to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: see us, Please, no running up on this show. Just
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: let y'all know we're not We're not We're not doing
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: that on this show. So see y'all tomorrow night. All right.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: You know, everybody has had a say in what happened
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: after Oscar tween Will Smith and Chris Rock. The shocking
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: thing is the people that saved it. OLDJ. Simpson even
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: had something to say, Oh, I don't know why Old
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: feel like he had to comment. He don't even know
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: where to sit down. Just take a listen to what
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: he said. But the question I've been getting this Will
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Smith from Chris Rock. Hey, look it was unfortunate. I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: think Will was wrong. Look I understood the feeling now
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: in my life, I've been through a lot of the craft.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: When I was raising two young kids and every comedian
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: in the country had an Old J routine. And don't
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: think I wouldn't wanna be slap couple of those guys,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: But you got each up. It's it's humor. And I
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: didn't even think that was all that ingresies. I thought
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it was a semi unfunny joke. But I don't know.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I don't get it. I know this after what after
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: me in Las Vegas. If I would have done that
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: in front of a billion people watching around the world,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: they would have given me lights without I'm just saying
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it ain't take care. I don't mad at that one. Wait, wait,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: hold on, wait a minute, he said them out. Yeah, no,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: he said. The comedians had a routine about old Jay,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: and I just want to say he is he talked
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: about slapping YouTube. Oh, let me just say so he's
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: in ENGREGI just to none. Let me just say this
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: about one thing about old Ja. Yeah, we all know
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: what happened. If somebody disrespects who he thinks he's a woman,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: he go, he take her, he go way bash. People
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: come up missing said it best. He'll be killing people
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: and stuff. God if you say so, oh Jay, he
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: thanks you to disrespecting head. We all know what happens.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: So I really it was actually on point though. Yeah
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you good right name you got something to say to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: steal your stuff back? Normal. I wrote a whole routine
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: on him. Yeah he ain't. And I did this routine
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: when I was party. That's not a sleep me then Lord,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Junior. Coming up at the top
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: of the hour. We'll talk about little lies right after this.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. Little lies? All right, check this out, guys.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: W NBA star Sue Bird admitted that when she was
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: a kid, she lied that NBA star Larry Bird was
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: her uncle. It's like a famous story in my childhood,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: school and neighborhood that I lied and I would tell
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: people he was my uncle. This is what Sue Bird
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: told Insider. She said all the time. I mean I
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: was like six or seven. So I feel like that
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: that's excusable because she was a kid. She was a
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: little kid when she said it. So here's the question,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: to you, Steve, to you, Tommy, to you Junior, do
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: you have like a and we already know the answer
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: to this, We just want to know what it is.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: But do you have an epic lie that you told
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: when you were a kid? And how long did you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: stick with this lie? And did you ever come clean
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: and tell the truth? Well they found yeah, like some
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: major life. I thought it wasn't true, but it turned
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: into a life. I told kids in the neighborhood that
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: we had money, and they told me, and they told
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: me talking about how y'all got money. Y'all lived next
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: door to us. I see what we got it though,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you stuck with it. I stuck with it, stuck with it.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: We didn't have no money. Yeah, I found out, Mama,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: we ain't got no damn money. Stopped telling them kids
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: that I love your family. So I found that out.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: That's how that's the line stuck with we got money. Yea,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Let's see mine is probably I dated a girl telling
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: people I dated a particular girl, but really didn't date
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: that girl, but just saying that she went to another school. Yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: that was my girl right there. That's my girl right there.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: And then my best friend around the corner, like I
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: just saw this girl the girl show with another dude.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: That is not your damn girlfriend. Girls telling them about
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: that show. Girl, that ain't your girl. You know we're
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: from technic, that ain't to how Wow, all right, Uncle Steve,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: it's so many I've been I don't even know what
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: so many? Did you ever tell your parents a lie
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: or your hair? I'll tell you one thing I didn't didn't.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I didn't lie, but I just helped held it out. Oh.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I was in sixth grade one time and I got
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: misplaced in the school system. I went to school one
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: day and they put me in uh special a kid
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: called class for special special kids you know, you know
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: back then they call them slow back then. And so
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I went in a special class. And after I got
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: in there, the first day and I ain't seen none
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: of my friends. And then came in the next day
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: and I just knew everything. You know, dude, my hand
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: just stayed up. You know. I was volunteering, you know,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: because I'm in sixth grade and you know what is
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: three times three nine? And I'm just fine off, you know.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: So so we took a pop quiz and I ate it.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I was through it. I'm looking around, like, why they're
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: still right? Yeah? Man, he baby asked questions. So I
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: stayed in there for about two weeks. All the pop
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: quizes was aces. I sat on the front. I couldn't
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: wait for her to ask any question. My hand was
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: a first. And she took me down to the office
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and said, come with me, brother, And we went down
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: to the office and she said, I'm not sure he's
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: supposed to be here. And so they checked my records
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and they had put me in the wrong class. And
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: I went right on back to that regular class and
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: got them thees like I was posted Russian. Listen, I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: was in that special class. I was one of the greatest,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: one of my greatest school experiences. I was first time.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I knew every damn thing talking. You wanted to stay
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: you for anybody to know one four times four sixteen,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I'm killing it was killing dog dog dog dogs. She
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: couldn't get it out for I need funny team. Well,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: if more of the Steve Harvey Mornings Show coming up
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this is in
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: really weird news, guys. After a woman's husband of ten
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: years died, she had the unpleasant task to informed the
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: other woman, his mistress. In a TikTok video that wracked
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: up over two million views Bridget Davis, the wife shares
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: snippets of their text message exchange Uh F word. Okay,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: that's how she started it off. F word. I can't
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: believe this. I can't I'm losing it. I can't do
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: this again, he promised me. But then the mistress asked,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: can I go where he was buried? And the wife
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: simply responds no. So here's a question. Do you think
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the wife should let the mistress go to the husband's grave.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: The wife didn't think. When you guys here, you don't know,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: y'all don't know. I guess The wife said, well, I'm
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: gonna notified hooker. I ain't gonna be the only one
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: sitting around here crying. I don't want to get down there.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: It's a it's another whole dude got and we don't.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And that's probably for you. Old. Can I go where
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: he's buried? You can't stay in God or no grave.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: But then if they don't tell you where the plot
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: is that you have a walk through a graveyard looking
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: for before Yeah, that's a sad as the plaque and
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: was crying over the wrong grave one time. See, uh,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: we gotta move on. Coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll play around I would you rather
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: right after this? You're listening to show? All right, guys,

- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I catch cod catch your foe down time. I ain't
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: going back. But you're talking about I contested every single
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: day before all these Q tips on my nose, way
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: up your nose? Yeah, hit my brain. You go back
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: to your back, what Steve, what did you weigh in?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I didn't hear you go back to what weighing in? For? What?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I want to hear what you have to say. I
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: didn't hear. I picked Be for you said be. You
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: didn't care what no matter what you damn go back
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: to twenty twenty. We can go back to nineteen twenty
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: if you want to. And that was very unpleasant for Black.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Before I go back. You believe that right there? Whatever
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: else you got, you you take anything. You put a
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: twenty on anything you will. Will you go back to

- 1:21:01Speaker 1: damn person and the majority of the people are the
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: wrong people to slap. Well, you know, it's kind of
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: like like Saint Patrick's Day. You know, back in the
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: day when you didn't wear green, you get pinched, you know,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: so national sla But wait a minute, but I didn't

- 1:23:17Speaker 1: a long time to stop trying to figure it out
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: and finally seeing what God had already figured for me
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and then aligned myself to that. That was the biggest
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: change for me. But I spent so much of my
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: life trying to figure it out on my own and
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I and boy was I making some mistakes. Oh my god,
