- 0:04Speaker 1: Y'all know what time y'all don't know. Y'all back a
- 0:10Speaker 1: suit on, looking back to back down, giving the move
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milking buck bus things and it's cobles me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good Steve har listening to movie together for stum, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You gotta turn hur go,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn out. You got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water. The water got me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby at it? H I sure will. Hey,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dive me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. I've been saying it like that since I
- 2:14Speaker 1: got it too. I figure why I stop now. A
- 2:18Speaker 1: lot of people get bored with stuff that works for
- 2:20Speaker 1: them because they just want to do something different. Sometimes, man,
- 2:24Speaker 1: repetition is good. Sometimes repetition is good over and over
- 2:29Speaker 1: and over until it becomes second nature, and then it's
- 2:33Speaker 1: almost like you ain't doing it at all. That's what
- 2:36Speaker 1: I found. That's just a little piece of information. Y'all
- 2:39Speaker 1: probably already know that, though. Sometimes I'm just a reminder.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That's it, all right. I got a good one for
- 2:45Speaker 1: you today. Yesterday the other day I was talking to
- 2:47Speaker 1: you about the most effective weapon available to us as
- 2:51Speaker 1: human beings, I think is prayer. I think prayer helps
- 2:55Speaker 1: us in so many ways. But right now what I
- 2:58Speaker 1: want to do is I want to show you how
- 3:01Speaker 1: prayer pays off. I want I want to show you
- 3:04Speaker 1: what good it can do for you. Even me, I
- 3:06Speaker 1: use it every day, and and the days I don't
- 3:10Speaker 1: use it, I feel it that that, you know, the
- 3:13Speaker 1: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 3:16Speaker 1: as much, I notice it. I feel it. I feel
- 3:18Speaker 1: a certain kind of way. You know, those are those
- 3:22Speaker 1: that doubts starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of
- 3:25Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in again, That that wondering what I'm gonna
- 3:29Speaker 1: do starts slipping in again. Happens to me, It happens everybody, man,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I think, I really, really do you know, if people
- 3:35Speaker 1: would just keep it real with each other, stop being
- 3:39Speaker 1: this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't. There's
- 3:44Speaker 1: a scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one,
- 3:50Speaker 1: that's everybody that that cover all of us don't. So
- 3:54Speaker 1: sometimes I think we're a little too hard on each
- 3:56Speaker 1: other with that too, seeing it's how we not perfect.
- 4:00Speaker 1: We immediately want to just just oh man, you just
- 4:04Speaker 1: want to kill when we find somebody do something wrong.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But if we go public, everything go public. Now it
- 4:09Speaker 1: calls social media. But anyway, I just want to talk
- 4:12Speaker 1: to you about how prayer pays off. It's called all
- 4:16Speaker 1: eye and money. People got money call it all eyes
- 4:20Speaker 1: a return on investment. People are always looking for a
- 4:23Speaker 1: return on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really
- 4:27Speaker 1: gives you money without understanding the return on investment. They
- 4:31Speaker 1: don't even give moneys to charities unless they think it
- 4:35Speaker 1: can do something with the bottom line. A lot of
- 4:37Speaker 1: companies work like that. I found out out myself. Sad,
- 4:41Speaker 1: but it is true. So since everything is expected to
- 4:45Speaker 1: work on a return on investment as soon because we're
- 4:48Speaker 1: human beings. So since we all human beings, whether you're
- 4:50Speaker 1: in business or not, you're still in the business of living.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I think when you pray, you should expect a turn
- 5:00Speaker 1: on your investment. You talk to him, you spent time
- 5:05Speaker 1: opening it up to him, you bowed your head to him,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but really we're talking God here, So really, what you're
- 5:16Speaker 1: doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you. The
- 5:18Speaker 1: little bit that you do do on his behalf, it
- 5:22Speaker 1: just pales in comparison with what he does. But let's
- 5:25Speaker 1: just say you want to call yourself invested, well, let
- 5:29Speaker 1: me show you how it pays off this because for me,
- 5:32Speaker 1: this is for me now. Prayer pays off in different ways.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:38Speaker 1: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:45Speaker 1: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing. Man.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many blessings I blocked coming
- 5:51Speaker 1: my way by putting my faith in what I said
- 5:55Speaker 1: I wanted and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 6:01Speaker 1: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 6:04Speaker 1: everything you say. Then I want to go over here,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 6:10Speaker 1: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 6:13Speaker 1: me let me through. And then I wanted I was.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I hadn't mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 6:20Speaker 1: He hadn't been going. Boy, I made you to be funny,
- 6:22Speaker 1: But boy, you're funny now so you're gonna tell me
- 6:25Speaker 1: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 6:27Speaker 1: If you want to make God laugh telling me your plan,
- 6:30Speaker 1: well that's what I did, And that's how we pray.
- 6:32Speaker 1: A lot of times we pray, and we pray in
- 6:35Speaker 1: the prayer with telling him how to work it out. Well,
- 6:40Speaker 1: here's a deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays
- 6:43Speaker 1: off in different ways. There's a different return of my
- 6:46Speaker 1: investment when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:52Speaker 1: a situation to dissolve itself or go away, sometimes I
- 6:57Speaker 1: get courage out of the prayer. Pray that provides me courage.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's just to go on and look at it. I
- 7:05Speaker 1: guess face it. Then. Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation,
- 7:13Speaker 1: sometimes prayer gives me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just
- 7:17Speaker 1: I look up and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes
- 7:21Speaker 1: prayer gives you laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you
- 7:26Speaker 1: just got to laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Do you know what that is? If you could do that,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you know. Sometimes it gives it gives you a show
- 7:40Speaker 1: of strength power. Sometimes prayer allows you to have the
- 7:45Speaker 1: appearance that you got it all together. Nobody got to
- 7:50Speaker 1: know the world. When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling
- 7:54Speaker 1: in your life, you're standing over that, like the eye
- 7:57Speaker 1: the hurricane, you just and it's all swirling around you,
- 8:00Speaker 1: but you stating that, like the eye, you just as calm.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That's what prayer does. So when you pray, man, it
- 8:06Speaker 1: builds up a lot of things in you. You know
- 8:09Speaker 1: what it's done for me. Prayer has built up character
- 8:12Speaker 1: in me. It's made me have more character because I'm
- 8:16Speaker 1: able to stand stronger on the things I say because
- 8:19Speaker 1: I've been praying, because I've been asking God for all
- 8:23Speaker 1: of those return of investments. I've been asking God for courage.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I've been asking God for hanging that power. I've been
- 8:30Speaker 1: asking him to give me the power to walk away.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I've asked him to give me ignored power. I've asking
- 8:35Speaker 1: to help me laugh at off. I've asked him to
- 8:37Speaker 1: show me strength. But you know what I was doing,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I was really praying, not really for them things be
- 8:42Speaker 1: real with you. I was asking them to help me, Lord,
- 8:46Speaker 1: help me. You ever done that, You've asked God for
- 8:48Speaker 1: help and then all of a sudden, a list of
- 8:50Speaker 1: these things show up. See, sometimes how you want the
- 8:53Speaker 1: problem to be solved ain't the best way. There's a
- 8:56Speaker 1: lesson to be learned when we make mistakes, and sometimes
- 8:59Speaker 1: you got to stay in the fire and you gotta
- 9:01Speaker 1: learn that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come
- 9:04Speaker 1: out of it, you're gonna be better for it. You're
- 9:07Speaker 1: gonna know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. Ain't
- 9:10Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it. You didn't tried everything else. Look
- 9:13Speaker 1: where you're at now, what about prayer? Yeah? People kill me,
- 9:17Speaker 1: man trying to talk me off this hustle right here.
- 9:19Speaker 1: God ain't this, and God ain't y y on. The
- 9:22Speaker 1: Lord left me. Lord don't leave no body. Man. Look
- 9:25Speaker 1: at your decisions. God has never left you. You turned
- 9:29Speaker 1: your back, you went the other way, You tried something else.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You you you, you took another swing, you went another route.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You look for an alternative solution. That was you. That
- 9:39Speaker 1: ain't never him. He's solid. His word is true. It
- 9:42Speaker 1: lasts forever. He do what he say he gonna do now,
- 9:45Speaker 1: all day, all night, twenty four seven, he twenty four eight.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He do it all day, all night, and then some more.
- 9:53Speaker 1: His word don't ever change. It is true. It works
- 9:56Speaker 1: for me, It worked for you. It worked for Jake's,
- 10:00Speaker 1: It worked for Old Steam. It worked for Kirk Franklin.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It worked for Paula White, It worked for Billy Graham.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It worked for Mother Teresa. It worked for Gandhi, It
- 10:12Speaker 1: worked for Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it worked for you.
- 10:18Speaker 1: What you're waiting for? Why don't you put praying your game?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Watch what happened to you? You're sitting in that jail
- 10:24Speaker 1: celle and you're struggling with it, and they're telling you
- 10:27Speaker 1: bloody and blood out, you can't get in you. That's foolishness, man,
- 10:31Speaker 1: What you mean God can get you out of anything. Look, man,
- 10:34Speaker 1: if you didn't read your Bible, he didn't got some
- 10:36Speaker 1: people out of some sticky situations. I don't know what
- 10:38Speaker 1: you're talking about. If Daniel was in the lions den
- 10:41Speaker 1: and Jonah was in the belly of the whale, what
- 10:43Speaker 1: you're talking about? Where you are? You just sitting in
- 10:44Speaker 1: the sale with some dudes round you're talking about what
- 10:46Speaker 1: they're gonna do. Man, you gotta be real. God can't
- 10:49Speaker 1: nothing to do nothing. Nobody can't nobody do nothing to you.
- 10:53Speaker 1: God won't give you to strift to handle. Prayer changes things, man,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening any show, Ladies and gentlemen might have the
- 11:03Speaker 1: undivided attention. Please what we're about to do now, it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: really uh should I put it to you? It's really
- 11:10Speaker 1: quite simple, guys. Uh Steve Harvey Morning Show. That's what
- 11:15Speaker 1: it is, unmistakable without a doubt. Now here's the deal.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Need your undivided attention for the duration because you don't
- 11:24Speaker 1: want to miss nothing because ain't no telling how this
- 11:27Speaker 1: is gonna go, whoas's gonna go or what we're going
- 11:31Speaker 1: now fault now that down? Huh talking about me like that?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Good morning, Shirley. Hey you all right, sir? Good morning? Yeah. Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you know, just a little aggravated with what's wrong? Nothing?
- 11:48Speaker 1: I just aggravated with myself, you know, just tired to me.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You ever get tired of me? Sometimes? Boys? Yeah, I
- 11:57Speaker 1: uncust me smooth. I am ain't tell Yeah, I ain't man,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you ain't worth for damn y'all. I'd have been a
- 12:08Speaker 1: couple of stupid, blanketed blanks. Yeah, I really am right,
- 12:15Speaker 1: but I'm good junior. Yeah, I had to cuss myself
- 12:19Speaker 1: out a lot too, Yo, stupid behind jumped for what? Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 1: Tim and Tom, I'm here big dog. I'm here man.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I miss yesterday, but I'm here today. Shirley did so
- 12:39Speaker 1: many short jokes yesterday. She was on it. Tommy, I
- 12:44Speaker 1: ain't even gonna lie to you, man. I was embarrassed.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I was really, man. She asked me to embarrass her
- 12:50Speaker 1: shame hum. And I was doing my best and she
- 12:53Speaker 1: had so many damn short jokes. Shirley, let's let's talk
- 13:00Speaker 1: of what he just said. That's true that I did
- 13:02Speaker 1: ask him to embarrass me. I did, and he did it.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So you asked him to do some short jokes? Is
- 13:08Speaker 1: that what you No? No, no, no, no, she did
- 13:12Speaker 1: the short jokes, Tommy, No, you know that's not true.
- 13:17Speaker 1: You guys are the comedians on the show, and you
- 13:20Speaker 1: was one yesterday. Sometimes you step in and try to
- 13:23Speaker 1: take the title. Though, did that what you did yesterday? No?
- 13:27Speaker 1: I'll tell you who was your best friend on the show.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Oh it's you. But what did you? Best friends go
- 13:36Speaker 1: with each other? Harder? So you did something she did
- 13:40Speaker 1: she didn't want yesterday? Talking about this is Timmy climbing
- 13:44Speaker 1: up in the chair. Yeah yeah, yeah, I said that's wrong. Yeah, okay,
- 13:53Speaker 1: oh god, yeah, why are you laughing? How hard is
- 13:59Speaker 1: she laughed, huh, while you love because to hear Junior
- 14:04Speaker 1: do that, it's just funny. I mean the thought of it. No,
- 14:06Speaker 1: Julia need to do that thing like that. Junior didn't
- 14:09Speaker 1: do this, really, that's funny. Funny now, But the guys,
- 14:13Speaker 1: we had a great show. Um yeah, we really did.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Praise Lord. Okay, finish, Hallelujah. It's time to go to break.
- 14:27Speaker 1: All right. Listen, coming up at thirty two after the hour,
- 14:30Speaker 1: we're gonna ask Steve. It is that time, ladies and gentlemen.
- 14:34Speaker 1: We got a couple of questions. Um oh that Steve. Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: from the Graham and such. We're gonna ask you right after.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I want from me? I don't know. Hi. Cool, you're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to all right? Time to start this morning off.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's Wednesday. We're gonna do some asked Steve and Steve.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We got a couple of questions from from our audience.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And then your nephew wants to ask you a question. Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 1: which one do you want? First? You want the audience,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you want your nephew. Okay, okay, okay, big dog, I
- 15:06Speaker 1: got it. I got a real I got a real question.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I mean, but this man Okay, so the
- 15:13Speaker 1: big dog. Um, I bought some tickets to take my
- 15:18Speaker 1: wife to see Anita Baker on Friday, this coming Friday.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Got it? I mean I got some great tickets the
- 15:26Speaker 1: coming coming to Houston, Texas, Anita Baker. You know she's
- 15:28Speaker 1: doing her probably her last tour. So, um, I got tickets,
- 15:33Speaker 1: great seats. I'm four fifth row beautiful. But um, the
- 15:38Speaker 1: other night, the Rockets won and it's two two and
- 15:44Speaker 1: Game six is in Houston Friday night, and I want
- 15:50Speaker 1: to go. Huh, game six, no, game six? Game Game
- 15:57Speaker 1: five is tonight. Games five is tonight. Game six is Saturday.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So I don't know, you know, we don't know who
- 16:03Speaker 1: gonna win to night, but whether they win to lose,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we're dealing with three two either way. But huh, game
- 16:11Speaker 1: six is friend, This is not the point. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 1: Game five is tonight. Games You want to know if
- 16:19Speaker 1: you should go to the game on tickets that you
- 16:22Speaker 1: bought her. I want to know how to heal. I
- 16:24Speaker 1: want how to hell to tell her. I want to
- 16:25Speaker 1: go to the game. Okay, let me ask you something.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Have you told her she was going to need a breaker?
- 16:30Speaker 1: She know you got the ticket? Yeah? Oh oh your
- 16:34Speaker 1: ass outfit. Oh oh, oh, you would need a breaker.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You ain't fit to see game. See you don't think
- 16:50Speaker 1: she'll take one of her girls and let tell me
- 16:52Speaker 1: go to the game. But what she did little guess
- 16:57Speaker 1: for her girlfriend. It's right. See don oh, so you
- 17:02Speaker 1: can't mobile the rockets than me. Oh you stay gone
- 17:07Speaker 1: all the time. Then you make a day with me
- 17:10Speaker 1: and you break it so you can go watch some
- 17:12Speaker 1: damn basketball. So you could see the dog go in
- 17:15Speaker 1: the hole. You gotta be the only thing going in there. Okay, okay, okay,
- 17:25Speaker 1: then you see what is it going? Go shoot with Jodan? Yeah, yeah, okay, okay,
- 17:38Speaker 1: answer to your question. We're here, we go all right,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Dear Steve, I'm a thirty two year old man, and
- 17:44Speaker 1: I have big goals and I want I would I
- 17:47Speaker 1: would like UH to start sharing milestones with a special lady.
- 17:52Speaker 1: The problem is, I've never been in a committed monogamous relationship.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I've always gone six months to a year and then
- 17:59Speaker 1: I at board. I'm not proud of this, and I
- 18:02Speaker 1: want to stop being a player. Uh Is having a
- 18:05Speaker 1: soul made a real thing? And how will I know
- 18:07Speaker 1: when I've met the one? Well, first of all, man,
- 18:12Speaker 1: you gotta want to meet the run. The game is
- 18:14Speaker 1: over when you tie the player. So now you got
- 18:17Speaker 1: to come on and just be tied to play in
- 18:19Speaker 1: the game. We all come to that point, man, we
- 18:22Speaker 1: all go. You know what, Man, this right here, ain't
- 18:24Speaker 1: I hadn't had enough for this. Hell, idn't had a
- 18:27Speaker 1: full run. Now. A lot of just depends on your age,
- 18:30Speaker 1: on whether you really are ready to go to the
- 18:32Speaker 1: commitment or not. It's thirty two, yeah, but I mean
- 18:35Speaker 1: it's about that time, you know, to start looking around. Yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I mean, you know you're getting that. You're getting to
- 18:42Speaker 1: that almost too far stage. Thirty two ain't too far,
- 18:46Speaker 1: but you know you need to If you're thinking about
- 18:48Speaker 1: real then you need to. The one will will appear
- 18:52Speaker 1: to you. How you know you got the one? It's
- 18:56Speaker 1: when she ain't with you. You wonder where she had
- 18:59Speaker 1: when you don't hear, you wonder what she's doing long
- 19:02Speaker 1: when she called you, man, it lights up. You can't
- 19:05Speaker 1: wait for her to call. You know, all your time
- 19:09Speaker 1: off you want to spend with her. You know you're
- 19:13Speaker 1: gonna reave good when she ain't round. Come on, I'm
- 19:18Speaker 1: telling you, man, the one, the one changes your perspective.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The one makes you want to do better. When you
- 19:25Speaker 1: find the one, you do everything in your power not
- 19:28Speaker 1: to her or disappoint them. It ain't probably no getting bored, man,
- 19:32Speaker 1: Pardon relationships gon gonna hit some plateaus every now and then.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You gotta keep creating new one, okay, And he asked, um,
- 19:41Speaker 1: is having a soul mate a real thing as well?
- 19:44Speaker 1: To me? It is? All right? Let's I hear a
- 19:47Speaker 1: lot of people talking about it. I know a lot
- 19:48Speaker 1: of people have found them. I found mine. I don't
- 19:51Speaker 1: nobody want to get a old body s except for
- 19:55Speaker 1: food man. And then hear you sitting over there looking
- 19:59Speaker 1: crazy after while. All right, here's another question, Steve, It says,
- 20:04Speaker 1: dear Steve. I'm in my late fifties and my ex
- 20:07Speaker 1: husband is in his early sixties. We were married for
- 20:10Speaker 1: ten years and divorced for thirteen. A few months ago
- 20:15Speaker 1: we started communicating again and he asked me out in
- 20:18Speaker 1: a day. We have started seeing each other again and
- 20:22Speaker 1: things are getting serious. Should I bring up some of
- 20:24Speaker 1: the issues that caused us to divorce or should I
- 20:27Speaker 1: just go with the flow and see how things progress? Well,
- 20:31Speaker 1: you want to make sure that those issues are gone
- 20:36Speaker 1: so you're gonna bring them up, because you're not gonna
- 20:38Speaker 1: be happy until you do. But it's how you bring
- 20:41Speaker 1: it's how surely for show. It's how it's tone and timing.
- 20:49Speaker 1: If you use in the wrong timing in his name,

- 30:18Speaker 1: Right now, we're going sexy you got coming off. You
- 30:21Speaker 1: have affected nobody, Michael Eally, nephew Tommy. Okay, you the
- 30:25Speaker 1: math right now in today's entertainment news, listen to this. Well,
- 30:32Speaker 1: no doctor is going to keep Cardi b from her fans. Okay.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Cardie hit the stage over the weekend. She was at
- 30:38Speaker 1: Memphiss Beal Street Music. That's Steve where she told the
- 30:42Speaker 1: crowd she had a doctor's note, and she defied the
- 30:45Speaker 1: doctor's orders not to move around too much or she
- 30:48Speaker 1: would risk damaging her recent lightpo suction. And she says,
- 30:52Speaker 1: as far as I can tell, this is the first
- 30:54Speaker 1: time she's spoken about getting life lightpo um. As far
- 30:58Speaker 1: as I can tell her, we can tell. Back in
- 31:00Speaker 1: July of last year, Carly explained how her views on
- 31:03Speaker 1: plastic surgery have evolved and that she's gotten a second
- 31:07Speaker 1: boob job to help her body bounce back from pregnancy. So, um,
- 31:12Speaker 1: she looks great. She looks absolutely great. Her body looks great.
- 31:16Speaker 1: But she was there for her fans. What do you think, Steve?
- 31:20Speaker 1: I don't see why she needed libo. I ever seen
- 31:23Speaker 1: nothing wrong with her. Well, you know, I mean some
- 31:27Speaker 1: some women after having a baby, some women get a
- 31:30Speaker 1: tummy tuck, some women get you know, a boob lift
- 31:33Speaker 1: or a reduction or whatever the situation. Huh. Well she
- 31:39Speaker 1: she got LiPo, She said, she got LiPo and a
- 31:41Speaker 1: second boob job to help her body bounce back from
- 31:44Speaker 1: the pregnancy. And she LiPo is more more of the
- 31:47Speaker 1: midsection and you're getting your stomach together. Yeah, LiPo, you
- 31:52Speaker 1: just you know, you're removing the fat, the fat self.
- 31:55Speaker 1: That's what you do with LiPo. So it could be
- 31:57Speaker 1: like Steve said, anywhere, Yeah, thank you, Junior. See what
- 32:02Speaker 1: what saying like if you got it, Tommy, you'd get
- 32:04Speaker 1: some of that air about that, you know what? Man,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I almost see I'm you on the radio board. Yo.
- 32:16Speaker 1: But Anna, I often to get fine and they all right.
- 32:25Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, Kim Kardashian's efforts to free inmates
- 32:30Speaker 1: serving life sentences for drug convictions have been more successful
- 32:34Speaker 1: than most people even realize. Everyone remembers, of course, how
- 32:38Speaker 1: she got President Trump to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, but
- 32:42Speaker 1: there have actually been Steve sixteen other prisoners freed. Over
- 32:46Speaker 1: the past three months, Kim and her legal team launched
- 32:50Speaker 1: their ninety Days of Freedom campaign, which used Trump's First
- 32:54Speaker 1: Step Act to secure releases of prisoners serving excessive sentences,
- 32:59Speaker 1: all right. Among those releases include Jamal Caraway, who served
- 33:03Speaker 1: eleven years of a life sentence for cocaine possession, Terrence Byrd,
- 33:06Speaker 1: who spent twenty five years behind bars for a drug charge,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and Eric Balcom, who spent sixteen years in jail for
- 33:13Speaker 1: drug possession. So so, I mean wonderful, don't you, guys.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I think she's doing some great work. She really is.
- 33:25Speaker 1: She has a legal team, she's studying to be an attorney,
- 33:28Speaker 1: so you know, and what she's doing with this ninety
- 33:31Speaker 1: Days of Freedom campaign releasing these prisoners, it's excellent. Oh,
- 33:35Speaker 1: father would be proud to her. Yeah, she would be
- 33:38Speaker 1: very proud, all right. Seeing time for to day's headline,
- 33:46Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss a and trip Okay, thank you
- 33:50Speaker 1: very much, everybody. This is Andrew House. Democrats say that
- 33:53Speaker 1: they have through playing nice. The Chairman of the House
- 33:55Speaker 1: Judiciary Comedy, Jerald Nenadler, says he's gonna take a vote
- 33:58Speaker 1: at ten am today on holding Attorney Downal William Barr
- 34:02Speaker 1: in contempt of Congress over his repeated refusals to hand
- 34:05Speaker 1: over Robert Muller's full and unredacted meddling report Russian medady.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Unredacted means no black marks on a nothing blacked out.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Nataler says that the Congress must see the full report
- 34:16Speaker 1: and underlying evidence to determine how to best move forward
- 34:19Speaker 1: with overside with legislation and other constitutional responsibilities. Assistant Attorney General,
- 34:24Speaker 1: though Stephen Boyd is fired off a letter. He says
- 34:27Speaker 1: that Democrats refuse to review a less redacted version of
- 34:31Speaker 1: the report and that maybe they should read that one
- 34:33Speaker 1: first before moving ahead with contempt proceedings in the Senate. Meanwhile,
- 34:36Speaker 1: the reactions to all this very predictable. Republican Senate Leader
- 34:40Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell says enough already with the questions about the
- 34:42Speaker 1: Mueller Report, while Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer says, basically
- 34:46Speaker 1: a smell a rat on this central question. The Special
- 34:49Speaker 1: Counsel's finding is clear, case closed. Of course, he wants
- 34:54Speaker 1: to move on, he wants to cover up, he wants
- 34:57Speaker 1: to silence on one of the most serious issues we face.
- 35:02Speaker 1: We'll see what happens to vote again. Ten am this morning.
- 35:04Speaker 1: There was another school shooting yesterday, this time in suburban Denver, Colorado.
- 35:08Speaker 1: One person an eighteen year old student has died. Some
- 35:12Speaker 1: seven other students injured. Police took two suspects and custody.
- 35:15Speaker 1: They still don't know really why the shooting occurred. George's
- 35:19Speaker 1: governor has signed a measure into law that bands most
- 35:22Speaker 1: abortions once a fetal heartbeat is detected. Now, doctors say
- 35:26Speaker 1: that's about six weeks before many women even know they're pregnant.
- 35:30Speaker 1: A federal court has ruled at Alabama's prisons failed to
- 35:33Speaker 1: protect inmates from suicide. Prison officials say that fifteen inmates
- 35:38Speaker 1: took their own lives over a fifteen month period. Least
- 35:41Speaker 1: the authorities in jail say they took their own lives. Now,
- 35:43Speaker 1: the court has ordered the Alabama Department of Corrections to
- 35:46Speaker 1: take some immediate action to prevent suicide in stay prisons.
- 35:50Speaker 1: The ruling directs the state to better identify and monitor
- 35:53Speaker 1: at risk inmates. Finally, Jees, that's right. This year marks
- 36:03Speaker 1: the first for Black American women. That's because the twenty
- 36:06Speaker 1: nineteen winners of all three national Beauty pageants are African
- 36:10Speaker 1: American at the same time. That's right. While there have
- 36:13Speaker 1: been black winners in all three contest, this is the
- 36:15Speaker 1: first time that all current title holders are black. At
- 36:18Speaker 1: the same time, Nicia Franklin is Miss America, Chesley christ
- 36:22Speaker 1: is Miss USA, and Kaylee Garris is Miss tin USA.
- 36:26Speaker 1: They're all gorgeous. You go, girl. Now back to the
- 36:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey boarn And Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 36:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. Y'all asked promise our special guests today, all
- 36:37Speaker 1: star actor. No never huge sex symbol say that. You don't.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Don't gloss over that. I just don't want to say
- 36:46Speaker 1: all that and known as a huge sex symbol for
- 36:50Speaker 1: that late you know, because he's just my dude though,
- 36:52Speaker 1: so I don't really And yeah, this next line is
- 36:56Speaker 1: his blue as us right now. I've seen him do
- 37:00Speaker 1: angle moments and that's they wasn't blue when he getting
- 37:03Speaker 1: mad ice cold black. He's starting a new thriller that's
- 37:08Speaker 1: in theaters and theaters now, y'all. It's called The Intruder.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And over that number two at the box office just
- 37:13Speaker 1: past weekend. Nobody was gonna beat all the more animals
- 37:16Speaker 1: and stuff. Oh damn dollars and all that. Everybody got
- 37:23Speaker 1: no time either. Yeah, anyway, number two of the box office. Congratulations,
- 37:27Speaker 1: Please welcome back to the show. One of the Stars.
- 37:29Speaker 1: My man, Michael Eally stuff he is. How you feeling, man,
- 37:38Speaker 1: I'm good. I couldn't never been more happy to be
- 37:40Speaker 1: number two in my life. You ain't never live, man. Yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 1: this time is a good thing. Huh yeah, No, it's chill.
- 37:51Speaker 1: It feels like, you know, just to be able to
- 37:53Speaker 1: beat like a kid's movie and like, you know, the
- 37:57Speaker 1: guy who didn't knocked up you know what I mean,
- 37:59Speaker 1: could be able to be these people, you know, to
- 38:01Speaker 1: be the Oscar winner and stuff like, like to d
- 38:03Speaker 1: these people. I mean, look, we knew that Avengers was
- 38:06Speaker 1: gonna do money. Now I thought maybe seven. I did not.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I did not anticipate the kind of numbers it did.
- 38:15Speaker 1: So now yeah like you were thinking like seventy million. Yeah, yeah, like, hey,
- 38:22Speaker 1: that's what I was thinking. Yeah, they doubled that. They
- 38:26Speaker 1: weren't even messing around. And I don't understand movie three
- 38:29Speaker 1: hours long. I don't understand no, man, and people people
- 38:33Speaker 1: have been in line. But but I'll tell you what,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Like you say, number two on these past then on
- 38:39Speaker 1: these weekends here, it's pretty good man. I had you
- 38:43Speaker 1: and uh making good on the show. Who plays your
- 38:46Speaker 1: wife in the movie. It's calling true to y'all. Y'all
- 38:48Speaker 1: got to get out and see this when this is
- 38:50Speaker 1: a good one. It's a young married couple and you
- 38:52Speaker 1: bought your first house from its former owner, Charlie, who's
- 38:57Speaker 1: played by Dennis Quaid. Yeah, it's good. Tell us a
- 39:01Speaker 1: little bit about the movie, because it ain't. It don't
- 39:03Speaker 1: go that good at this house. Noah, it's uh, you
- 39:11Speaker 1: know now, it don't go good at all. I can't
- 39:15Speaker 1: believe he said that, putting it mildly. All right, ladies,
- 39:21Speaker 1: we'll have more with Michael Eally and we'll talk trending
- 39:24Speaker 1: sports news the NBA playoffs that's coming up at thirty
- 39:27Speaker 1: four after the hour, right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 39:33Speaker 1: let's wrap up with the very fine Michael Eally And uh,
- 39:38Speaker 1: thank you so very much, and you're welcome. Special guests today,
- 39:45Speaker 1: my man Michael Eally. He's starting in a new thriller
- 39:49Speaker 1: that's in theaters now, y'all. It's called The Intruder. It's
- 39:52Speaker 1: a young married couple and you bought your first house
- 39:56Speaker 1: from his former owner, Charlie, who's played by Dennis Quaid. Yeah,
- 40:00Speaker 1: it's good. The dude won't leave us alone. And you
- 40:05Speaker 1: learn later on. And he's got a connection to the
- 40:08Speaker 1: house that he don't like. You know, you don't just
- 40:10Speaker 1: you know, disclose when he sells it to it, so
- 40:15Speaker 1: you know, he's kind of hiding that stuff from us.
- 40:17Speaker 1: And he's also got intentions. You know, he's trying to
- 40:19Speaker 1: you know, he's trying to come after my wife, which
- 40:21Speaker 1: you know, I just can't hand that. Yeah, so you
- 40:24Speaker 1: know he no man would would hand No man wouldn't
- 40:28Speaker 1: handle that, you know what I mean. And it's making good.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So we gotta really a lot of reason to a fight. Yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 1: a lot of reasons, a lot of me. There's also
- 40:37Speaker 1: the three million dollars that we spent on that. Oh yeah,
- 40:42Speaker 1: hold three million dollars clean, Yeah, so you really need
- 40:46Speaker 1: to try to stay there. Yeah, I ain't trying to
- 40:49Speaker 1: sell it right now. It's like, you know, but that
- 40:52Speaker 1: kind of money, you know, you would just expect the
- 40:55Speaker 1: owner and just kind of lead and leave your loan,
- 40:57Speaker 1: let you do what you want. You want to knock
- 40:59Speaker 1: out a wall, you know, I got three million dollars
- 41:01Speaker 1: saying why I should be allowed to do that? So
- 41:05Speaker 1: you know, and he, you know, he just he just won't.
- 41:08Speaker 1: He just won't leave, and it becomes much more sinister
- 41:11Speaker 1: and dark, and next thing, you know, we we you know,
- 41:14Speaker 1: we're in a real battle for our lives with this
- 41:16Speaker 1: cat man. Hey man, So, how crazy is Dennis Quaid
- 41:21Speaker 1: in this movie? Honestly? I mean it's so bad that,
- 41:25Speaker 1: like when I watched it the first time, I was
- 41:28Speaker 1: mad at me, Like I was mad at my character
- 41:32Speaker 1: for not stopping him sooner. Like I was like, like,
- 41:37Speaker 1: it's like I was forgot it was me, and like, yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I was mad at Scott like I was like, get up, yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 1: just get Like I was really yelling at my own
- 41:47Speaker 1: character that to get underneath my skin, and I think
- 41:51Speaker 1: the audience skin in this movie. Yeah. So you just
- 41:54Speaker 1: had a black moment watching your day movie. Yeah, you
- 41:59Speaker 1: in the tity, get your ass up? Yeah yeah, okay,
- 42:04Speaker 1: that's that's never happened to me. That man I had,
- 42:11Speaker 1: I had him and making good on my talk show.
- 42:15Speaker 1: So I've heard about this movie. Man, it just sounds
- 42:17Speaker 1: like a winner. Man, it's in theaters right now, y'all

- 53:45Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. All right, this is a long one. The
- 53:48Speaker 1: subject my ex girlfriend is a huge problem. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:54Speaker 1: I have a big problem. Two years ago, I relocated
- 53:58Speaker 1: for work. Before I moved, I had a special lady
- 54:01Speaker 1: that I enjoyed spending time with. She was a big,
- 54:04Speaker 1: fine woman, thick in all of the right places. It
- 54:09Speaker 1: had been a year since I had seen her, and
- 54:11Speaker 1: I was missing her good loving So I called her
- 54:15Speaker 1: and told her I was sending her a bus ticket
- 54:18Speaker 1: to come visit me. Yes, a bus ticket, because a
- 54:23Speaker 1: brother ain't rich. What the weekend. Finally, came and I
- 54:29Speaker 1: was so excited to see her. But oh my goodness,
- 54:33Speaker 1: when this woman got off the bus, I swear I
- 54:36Speaker 1: barely recognized her. She had almost doubled in size in
- 54:41Speaker 1: the patch year. Don't get me wrong, I like big girls,
- 54:44Speaker 1: but she should have told me that she gained a
- 54:46Speaker 1: lot of weight. I didn't say anything, and I tried
- 54:49Speaker 1: not to look shocked. As soon as we got in
- 54:52Speaker 1: the car, she pulled out a bag of snacks and
- 54:55Speaker 1: offered me a brownie. I always loved her cooking, so
- 54:59Speaker 1: I d a brownie. When we got to my apartment,
- 55:03Speaker 1: I ate another brownie. Then I realized something wasn't quite right. Oh,
- 55:08Speaker 1: I was high as heck. She admitted that the brownies
- 55:13Speaker 1: had weed in them, like it was no big deal.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I was sitting on the couch trying to get myself
- 55:18Speaker 1: together when all of a sudden, she climbed on me
- 55:21Speaker 1: and said she was going to give me exactly what
- 55:24Speaker 1: I'd been missing. All I could do was lie there,
- 55:27Speaker 1: pinned to the couch. She took advantage of me for
- 55:30Speaker 1: what seemed like hours. I wanted to yell out for
- 55:33Speaker 1: her to stop, but nothing came out because I was
- 55:37Speaker 1: too high. I ended up passing out on the couch.
- 55:40Speaker 1: The next day. I told her that I felt violated.
- 55:44Speaker 1: She said she could tell that I had had a
- 55:46Speaker 1: problem with her weight, so she took matters into her
- 55:48Speaker 1: own hands. I couldn't wait to get this big, wild
- 55:52Speaker 1: woman out of my house. Now she keeps calling and
- 55:54Speaker 1: texting me and I don't want anything to do with her.
- 55:58Speaker 1: How can I get rid of her without hurting her feelings?
- 56:01Speaker 1: This is a huge problem. Well, be careful what you
- 56:05Speaker 1: ask for. Humhu. You know what though, I'm really sorry,
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah you do. It's a long letter. I'm really sorry
- 56:15Speaker 1: that you know you feel violated. I really am. And
- 56:18Speaker 1: it's not talked about a lot, but men do get violated,
- 56:21Speaker 1: and in this case, you were violated. If you felt
- 56:24Speaker 1: that way, um, you know, if this, if this situation
- 56:27Speaker 1: were reversed, we probably have a completely different answer for you.
- 56:31Speaker 1: But I will tell you this. She is out of
- 56:33Speaker 1: your house. She's out of town, so you don't have
- 56:36Speaker 1: that to worry about. As far as the phone is concerned.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You don't have to answer her calls, I mean, or
- 56:43Speaker 1: you can just simply tell her it's not going to
- 56:45Speaker 1: work out. You didn't appreciate what she did and all
- 56:48Speaker 1: of that. But maybe as a man, you don't feel
- 56:50Speaker 1: like you should tell her all of that. Um, but
- 56:52Speaker 1: I think you should. I think you should be honest
- 56:54Speaker 1: with this woman and let her know that what she
- 56:56Speaker 1: did is wrong and how you felt about the situation.
- 56:59Speaker 1: And uh, please do not send her another bus ticket,
- 57:03Speaker 1: all right, that's in your best interest, Steve. Well, it's
- 57:09Speaker 1: so much to this letter. Should I just break it
- 57:11Speaker 1: down line by line? Come on, because I get so
- 57:15Speaker 1: many angles in this letter. It is Shirley, my ex
- 57:19Speaker 1: girlfriend is a huge problem. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I have
- 57:23Speaker 1: a big problem right there. You damn show due and
- 57:28Speaker 1: it's about to step down off a bus. So the
- 57:31Speaker 1: whole time, two years ago, I was okay for a booth.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I had a special lady I enjoyed spending time with.
- 57:42Speaker 1: She's a big fan, war thicking all the right place.
- 57:46Speaker 1: It's been a year since I've seen her, and I
- 57:48Speaker 1: was missing her, good loving So I called her and
- 57:51Speaker 1: told her that I was sending her a bus ticket
- 57:56Speaker 1: to come visit me. Yes, a bus ticket, because a
- 58:00Speaker 1: brother ain't rich. Two things here, when you busting them in,
- 58:08Speaker 1: when you busting on the end, we are already dealing
- 58:12Speaker 1: with low budget loving man. You busting them in. They
- 58:17Speaker 1: bust kids to slip, they bust freedom riding, busting boycotty.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You don't do that in modern David, but you somehow
- 58:27Speaker 1: manage to bring that all the way up. We stopped
- 58:30Speaker 1: busting back a long time ago. You still doing it now.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Because this is low budget loving. You must deal with
- 58:37Speaker 1: another old saying you get what you pay for. All right. See,
- 58:44Speaker 1: First of all, what woman you know willing to get
- 58:47Speaker 1: up on the bus. I don't know, sove West come
- 58:51Speaker 1: on now, yeah, spirit, one seat, come on train. Something
- 59:05Speaker 1: we can't finally came. I was excited to see it.
- 59:07Speaker 1: But oh my goodness, when this woman got off the
- 59:11Speaker 1: bus right there? You keep here that sign. When this
- 59:14Speaker 1: woman got off the bus, Now what you expect you've
- 59:17Speaker 1: seen bus riders? Last time you've seen finance bus rider?
- 59:24Speaker 1: Stupid and about with Look, I ain't talking about every
- 59:29Speaker 1: day like you know, commuting on the training nothing. It's
- 59:32Speaker 1: fine women all day on trains. And but I'm talking
- 59:35Speaker 1: about the Carter bus from staining cross state line. When
- 59:38Speaker 1: the last time you've seen a fine as bus rider
- 59:41Speaker 1: cross state lines? I challenge you. This woman got off
- 59:48Speaker 1: the bus. I swear I barely recognized she had almost
- 59:52Speaker 1: doubled in size from the past year because she missed you.
- 59:57Speaker 1: So she been eating. You're like big women. Don't get
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: me wrong. I like big girls. Okay, well we're gonna
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: get to like it. But she should have told me
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: that she had gained a lot of weight. You didn't ask.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Why would that come? Your cheap ass just sent the
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: bus to you. Didn't ask because she didn't have to volunteer.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Oh you want to see me here? I come. I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: didn't say anything, and I tried not to look shot.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I didn't say anything, and I tried not to look shot.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You can't take that look off your face when a
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: big ass person getting down off a bus, come the
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: whole side and the bus go down. When she stepped
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: on that last step and you saw that bust look
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: like it was coming to her, it's hard not to
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: look shock when somebody finding turnover a damn last team.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: All right, hang on two of Steve's response subject my
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: ex girlfriend is huge problem. Right after this. You're listening,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on with part two of your
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: response to today's Strawberry letter. My ex girlfriend is a
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: huge problem real summer. This man used to data woman
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: a year ago missed to love and he liked fine,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: thick women. He sent for a bus ticket. She got
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: on the bus, and when she got off the bus,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: all hell. He couldn't believe it. She had doubled inside.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: So that's what okay, But I want to bring to
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: your attention again. Show me the last fine person you've
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: seen on a bus crossing state line. That's my challenge
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: to people that ride the bus. Looked like they ride
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: the bus de terminal. In the terminal, you know they
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: in him. Yeah, it's a different crew. They don't have luggage.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: They have clothes, laundry baskets with closed stuff in them
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: and tape. Wow, that's how they travel all they're closed
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: in grocery bags and hafties, zip locks and hefty number one. Yeah,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: all right, now, she had gained a lot of weight.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I ain't say anything, and I tried not to look shocked.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: It's hard not to because you say little stuff to yourself,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: like Jesus, good Lord, what the hell she's gonna tell
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: me do? I ain't got no extension for the seat man.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: It's half off to kill herself. My slam only pray, Well,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: she don't need a bag. Yeah, this is a little stuff,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: he's said. As soon as we got in the car,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: she pulled out a bag of snaps and offered me
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: a brownie. I always loved to cook it, so I
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: ain't a brownie when we got to my problem, I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: ain't another brownie. Then I realized someone wasn't quite right.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I was highs hell damn and she knew it too.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: She gave you the brownie to get you off your game.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Yeah she didn't. Brownies got you looped. Now. After she
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: did that, she admitted that her brownies had weed in him,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: but like it was no big deal. I was sitting
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: on the couch trying to get myself together, when all
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: of a sudden, she climbed on me and said she
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: was gonna give me exactly what I had been missing.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: This about your buster, hear phone, I am a fit
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: to bring it now, big ear, fitting the brain out.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: IRMA got something for you, Gonna get it to you.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: That what you want to do, what your buss did?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: It is. All I could do was lie there, pin
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to the couch, Your damn right, your pin. She doubled
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the side. She whipping your ass actually, actually, what's happened
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to you? In the middle of the ass one You
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: don't even know it. She can't pinned you. You're the
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: rest of the match. You'd have been out. She took
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: advantage of me for what seemed like hours. Anytime you
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: want to you don't want to do something. It seemed
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: way long. You probably in about eight minutes, felt like
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: any high big armor just getting it to you know,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: what the hell going on? I wanted to yell out
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: for her to stop, but she couldn't. You know why,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: because she had your pin. She cut your win off.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Big people know how to work they weight. She got
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: just wing on. You tried to yell out, but every
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: time you take a deep breath, it came in your
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: chest mot so now you can't even take a deep
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: back then not that's pressed up. So you tried to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: yell out, but her big ass had your pin. Nothing
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: came out because I was too hot. I ended up
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: passing out on the couch. You got choked out. It's
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: what happened, people, boy, you got pass stop because you
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: got put out. Next day I told I felt violated.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: She said that she could tell that I had a
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: problem with her weight. You know when she could tell
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: when she get down off that bust because you try
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: not to look shocked, but your ass was you know
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: when you first see your woman? Who lord ain't ain't
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: ain't a good steak? Whoa lord not? Woa woe mean? Stop?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Now she keeps calling and texting me and I don't
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: want anything to do with her. Why can I get
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her feeling? This is a
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: huge problem. You damn right, it's a huge problem. But
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: here's the first thing you do. I don't want to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: have anything to do with her. How can I get
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: rid of her without hurting her feeling? You can block
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: her number or you can just get a whole new
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: fuck that you got to get drafted because big people
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: don't give up each I tell you right now, people
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: wear your ass down. So now what you want to
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: do is you want to block her and you want
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to get a new number. Only problem you can do it.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: First of all, you got to stop buying bus ticket.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Don't buy another damn bus ticket. Busting her in as
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: the first beginning of all your problems. People was getting
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: off the bus before her. Didn't it clue you in?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Bam you looking at it people. He come so when
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: she got off the bus. But you thought she was

- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I'm good with that, A nice rounded behind. It's beautiful
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: as long as you went to the right doctor. I
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: just don't want it to fall down your leg and
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: then it ain't right, you know. And I've seen that
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: with this plastic surgery stuff. It's sure to you and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I didn't looked at that before. We've falled down the
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: back of their leg and they answer trouble you know
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah, yeah, surely. If I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: see you on Monday and I don't say nothing, then
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: you get light polding. I see you on Tuesday, I'm
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: gonna say something. Yeah, my bad, I missed. I'm sorry
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: the hell was I thinking yesterday? I'm gonna bring it up. Yeah,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: but button butt injections really really untrend now for women.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: That's the deal with that. Wait said again, see gott
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to be very very careful with that. But to make
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: sure that you get with the reputable doctor ry or
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: what not too much. These buddn't playing parties and stuff.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: They'd be throwing the girls. Ye man, they're suffering for that.

- 1:13:20Speaker 1: to get it surgically removed, Tommy, Yeah, I mean it's
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: really serious. Steve's right, it's really serious. Wow. You know
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: a lot of a lot of women are in pain
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: that you know when they do these like you say,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: butt injection parties or they go to these you know,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: bootleg doctors and all of this stuff. No, go to
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: a reputable doctor. Do your research because he's leaking inside
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: your body. Sure, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, so why will
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: your body that becomes toxic to your natural body and
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: your body could reject it, you know. So it's it's
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: very very serious. It's very serious. I mean we're looking
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: around a lot but light section. Anytime you have to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: go under and all of that stuff. This is, you know,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: any kind of medical procedure is fellows, we're not gonna
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: get these ass then we're gonna pay us on these as. No,

- 1:14:26Speaker 1: you're gonna bring the man over here, but that's not
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. You're gonna fly the man over men
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: and time. You're going to see the side. Now. Something
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: in my house said, y'all ain't got no more lights
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in here, not for surgery. Yes, yeah, you don't want
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: to brush my teeth? One all right? Coming up at

- 1:15:47Speaker 1: you at for motor company. Oh you you wouldn't do that.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't do that, and I would not do no.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: But the worst that you know, the found you. I
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: didn't like it. Oh similar line at four and ask
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: some cool people I work with, and wasn't bad. Going
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to work wasn't what I was meant to do. But uh, though,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Lincoln Electric is the worst job I've ever had. I hated.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: What did you do there? I wrap coil wire? It's
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: really it's tough. You know what dies are. Dives are
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: these small round things that you pull wire through, and
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: every diet gets smaller. So the wire goes through and
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: compresses and shaves down. It gets thinner and thinner. So
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: let's say the wire starts like a microphone cord, okay,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: and what you're trying to get it down to is
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: a cord wire that goes inside of inside of speaker
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: wire and it is so you put it through the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: die and it goes through this machine at a high speed,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: and every diet goes through, every six eight feet gets
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: smaller and smaller, and it wraps up into a big coil.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: And then you got to box it up and put
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: it on the palette. Now to break even you had
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: to make two hundred and thirty eight boxes a day. Wow,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: it'd be some days I finished. I got eighty short.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: You real short, ugly, I mean, you know, but now
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: you're gonna get it guarantee. Uh huh. But to get
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: the bonus you had to make extra and at the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: end of the year, guys was getting fifty thousand dollar bonus.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: How what you get I ain't never get. Oh you
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: didn't even get a bonus period? Well, what about it?
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I mean, how can they do it? Why? Why was
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: you so slow with yours? You just I hate it, man,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I didn't like doing them chanical work to keep the
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: line running because you had to change the dies all
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the time, because the inspect to come by and tell
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you that your wire has a score in it, which
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: means a little scratch. That means one of the dies
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: is wore out and you don't catch it. Then didn't
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: the inspect to come by and X out all your
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: boxes in the box with the scores and it got
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: to go, So you lose fifteen fifteen boxes went to inspected.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Come here. I hate it. You're depressed telling us about
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: it at that? What how old were you then? Oh,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: twenty three. M So that was one of your first
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: like full time jobs right after did you quit? Did
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: you quit or they fired? Ye? I made that store.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: What you say, what is happening? You're not doing any business?
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Loan king the small business long open up, the carbon
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: cleaning come down. I didn't have no loan. I just
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: wanted to walk out with dignity. Look, hall, man, we're
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: gonna miss you. Man. You're a good dude. Man, you
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: were funny. Man. You kep us live in here. Man. Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I have been whooping your behind. Please so sad. I
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: was dying. Man, I want midnight shift from midnight to
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: eight in the morning. I would be so sweet coming
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: home I drive by my exit. Wow, that's how sleepy
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I would be. I would I miss my exit at
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: least five times. Okay, so let's switch it and ask
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you what was the best summer job you had, because
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: that depressed us all. Just I got a job at
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: the swimming pool as a lifeguard and can't squim. That's
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the best job in college. I got a job at
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the stumping pool of watching girls has a lifeguarding just
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: hoping nobody get in. Did anybody ever get in? In
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: a drastic situation. No, thank god you got lucky man.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I had all the life rafts and stuff over there.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I had so much stuff in the pool. I was
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: throwing furniture in the pool. I had so much furniture
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: in the pool. One dude got in trouble and I
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: threw so much stuff in the pool he could walk out.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: He threw a staring phone cool out there. I had
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: so much pool furniture that he can walk out. So
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: they didn't test you anything to see if you could swim.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: They just hired you on the spot. That's crazy. Well,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: what it happened was my name was Steve Harvey. Yes,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of course it was a white guy to school named
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Steve Darby. Okay, he didn't come to work, so I
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: went and about it. He said, are you Stee Jarvey?
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I went yeah, just with no problem. He said, well
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: here you go handing me that little red thing. Said
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: where's your shorts? Okay? So I told him I have
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: them tomorrow. I just bought my pants that roll them
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: up and set up on this chair. The lifeguard told him,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: my name is Steve Harvey. I got paid man about
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: six weeks. What so Steve Darby never came back the
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: white guy. I have no idea what happened to this?
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: He ain't show. Wow, Steve Harvey went on in there
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: at the lifeguard. Anybody had a drown in their pool,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: they'd have been dead. But god, I can't say nobody. Man,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: it wasn't about to jump in that deep and trouble
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: in this five foot And we noticed just when when
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I ain't Marge, you tried to get in the water
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: in Hawaii. You remember that he almost had a bad
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Yes he did, Yes, he did. And you did you
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: ever learn to swim? Steve? Ye a little bit? You know.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I have get back, Oh, get back. Whatever I fell off,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I got get out. He got get out. That swim
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: crossed down. That ain't gonna. I'm so glad you found
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: your purpose. I'm so glad you found your purpose. I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: really that's funny. Wow. I know had a lifeguard, but
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: getting paid Skinny hass had some nice shot coming up.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're gonna touch

- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Game five is tonight. Games. You want to know if
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: you should go to the game on these tickets that
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: you bought it. I want to know how to heal.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: I want how to hell to tell her I'm gonna
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: go to the game. Okay, let me ask you something.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Have you told her she was going to need a baker?
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: She know you got the tickets? Ye oh oh you
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: ask oh oh oh, you would need a breaker you
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: ain't fit to see gay. See you don't think she'll
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: take one of her girls and let Tommy go to
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: the game. What she didn't have no dress for her girlfriend? Right? See? Dog?
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Oh so you can mobilet the rockets than me. Oh,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: you stay gone all the time. Then you make a
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: day with me and you break it so you can
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: go watch some damn basketball so you can see the
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: dog go in the hole. You gotta be the only
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: thing going in there. Okay, okay, okay, you see what
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: is go shoot with Jordan? Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, I
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: didn't answer to your question. We're all right here we go.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: All right, Dear Steve, I'm a thirty two year old man,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: and I have big goals and I want I would
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I would like UH to start sharing milestones with the
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: special Lady. The problem is, I've never been in a
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: committed monogamous relationship. I've always gone six months to a
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: year and then I get bored. I'm not proud of this,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: and I want to stop being a player. Uh Is
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: having a soul made a real thing? And how will
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: I know when I've met the one? Well, first of all, man,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: you gotta want to meet the one. The game is
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: over when you tied to play in it, So now
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: you got to come on and just be tired to
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: play in the game. We all come to that point, man,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: we all go you know what, man, this right here,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: I didn't had enough for this here, I'd had a
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: will run. Now, A lot of this depends on your age,
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: on whether you really are ready to go to the
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: commitment or not. It's thirty two, yeah, but I mean
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: it's about that time, you know, to start looking around. Yeah,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I mean, you know you're getting that. You're getting to
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: that almost too far stage. Thirty two ain't too far,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: but you know, if you're thinking about real nn you
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: need to the one will will appear to you. How
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: you know you got the one? It's when she ain't
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: with you, you wonder where she had. When you don't
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: hear from her, you wonder what she's doing. All right,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up next, it is Steve with
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: today's closing remarks. Right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. Time to
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: get out of here and you gotta go to work,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: so leave us with some closing remarks. Okay, uh, my
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: remarks today I'm pretty sure I've done this before it's
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: really been helpful to me, but today it kind of
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: really hit home, man, because it caused me to sit
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: down and jot a bunch of stuff down. And I
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: want to just share with you what I did this morning,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: because you know, I was reading and it was reminding
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: me that and as I've talked to you about this
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: before about gratitude, how important a principle of success, that
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: gratitude actually is. Gratitude is a major principle of success
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: because the more you're grateful for, the more He will
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: give you to be grateful for. So in my reading
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: this morning, I gotta remember it best I can, but
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna share it with you. He God wants us
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: to thank him for all of his blessings all along
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: the way. I mean, even when you're going through stuff.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: He wants you to show your gratitude. As I said,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: gratitude is one of the major principles of success. God
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: wants to hear you be grateful for the things He's
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: done in your life. He wants you to thank him
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: for the things He's done to you all along the way.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Because as I remember what I was reading this morning,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: when you do that, it brings joy to both you
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: and him. I mean, it brings joy to you and
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: to God. But man, do you know how helpful it
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: is when you're thankful all along the way? And you
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: know why, man, because when you show gratitude, when you're grateful,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: it protects you from negative thinking. Did you hear what
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: I said? Listen to me, everybody. When you show gratitude
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: on a regular basis, especially at the start of the
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: day and throughout the day, even when stuff is going wrong,
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: the more you can show gratitude when you're grateful, a
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: grateful heart protects you from negative thinking and being thankful
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: it enables you to see the abundance that you've been
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: showered from God. So what I did this morning was
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: I just sat down, grabbed a blank piece of paper
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: and a pen and just started writing down a list
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: of things I was grateful for. Let me see three six, nine,
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: twelve fifty. I jotted down about thirty three thirty six
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: things that I was grateful for. The day could be
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: a little bit more than this. I'm just glancing at
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: the paper turn and I just went down. It just stuff, man,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: that I was grateful for. And you know what it did.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: It did exactly what I was reading. It eradicated any
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: negative thoughts that could have possibly in aided my space
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: in my mind. Because you know, like I've said before,
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: joy and depression cannot reside in the same space. So
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: think about that. Man, If you show gratitude, it protects
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: you from having negative thinking. Because just just do it, y'all.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Try it. Just jot down on a piece of paper
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: things that you think that you have to be grateful for,
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: and just real quick, ain't gonna be neat. Just scratch it.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: Scratch it down. For the people in your life, for
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: the things that's happening, for some controversy you survived, For
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: the things you have in your life, your home, for
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: your reputation, for projects you're working on, for things that
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: you see unfolding that you had hoped would come true
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: one day. For the respect you have on your job
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: through your family. For people who come up to you
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: and say, man, if it wasn't for you, man, I
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: don't know what i'd it did. Thank you for the
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: clothes you have, for your ability to walk, your health,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: everything you come home and your lights work, you come home,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: You gotta key, you gotta door. It's people don't got
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: no way to go. Man, write everything down that you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: can be grateful for. If you do that this morning,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: what happens is it causes you to surround yourself with
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: a coding, A coding, a protective layer around your mind
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: that protects you from having negative thoughts. It's hard to
