- 0:12Speaker 3: Don't given them.
- 0:15Speaker 1: The bus.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Steve Yeah, listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Show Joy Yeah, Joy, you know you know, you know
- 1:24Speaker 3: you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Have to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth turn a wad
- 1:47Speaker 5: of the mono. Come come out your bah.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 6: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 6: got a radio show, Yeah, I got one. And I
- 2:14Speaker 6: got a message for you today too. Something I was
- 2:16Speaker 6: thinking about that might help you along the way. The
- 2:20Speaker 6: thing I appreciate about so many people that I learned
- 2:23Speaker 6: from Bishop Jakes, Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Joel Oldstein,
- 2:31Speaker 6: I can't tell you, and many more than that. I mean,
- 2:34Speaker 6: you know I'm naming you know, famous people because I
- 2:39Speaker 6: know you know these names. But my father, who you
- 2:42Speaker 6: never met, was so great in my development as a man.
- 2:48Speaker 6: But my mother thought her mercy. My mother, she taught
- 2:52Speaker 6: me about faith. She gave me the things I needed
- 2:55Speaker 6: to know about what I speak about every day. That
- 2:59Speaker 6: basis was given to me by her. So it's so
- 3:01Speaker 6: many great people. But here's the thing that I've had
- 3:04Speaker 6: to learn, and that is that if God got you
- 3:08Speaker 6: through it.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It's done.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Move on.
- 3:12Speaker 6: See, I can't tell you how many people don't really
- 3:15Speaker 6: pay attention to that close enough.
- 3:18Speaker 2: If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Move on.
- 3:24Speaker 2: How many times have we as people allowed God to
- 3:29Speaker 2: get us through something, get us beyond something, get us
- 3:33Speaker 2: over something, get us through something, and then even after
- 3:37Speaker 2: it's completion.
- 3:39Speaker 6: We sit there and we dwell on it, and we
- 3:42Speaker 6: dwell on it to the point where it becomes an
- 3:44Speaker 6: anchor around our neck and we can't move on. We
- 3:49Speaker 6: can't move on because we just won't let it go.
- 3:54Speaker 6: It's done. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Move on.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Stop harboring on the past.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Stop hanging on to every time you fail, Stop hanging
- 4:07Speaker 6: on to every time you slipped up and messed up.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Stop hanging on to every time you didn't get it right.
- 4:13Speaker 6: So what everybody makes mistakes, everybody messes up, Everybody don't
- 4:20Speaker 6: get it right.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Everybody's struggling with something.
- 4:24Speaker 6: You ain't the only one, but my God, Man, if
- 4:29Speaker 6: God got you through it, it's done.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Move on.
- 4:34Speaker 2: You hanging on to it for it. That's why he
- 4:36Speaker 2: got it, got you through it, so you can move
- 4:39Speaker 2: on from it.
- 4:40Speaker 6: See a lot of things that happened to us that
- 4:43Speaker 6: we think are negative or bad experience.
- 4:47Speaker 2: These are lessons and what not to do. This is
- 4:51Speaker 2: a way to have one now a bearing on. Look
- 4:54Speaker 2: out for it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The next time.
- 4:56Speaker 6: You got me once, you can't get me again. I'm
- 4:59Speaker 6: telling you, man, if God got you through it.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It's done.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Move on.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You have got to move on.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I use this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add
- 5:10Speaker 2: a little bit to it.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Bishop Jakes told me you cannot drive your car looking
- 5:18Speaker 6: in the rear view mirror. See you know what your
- 5:22Speaker 6: rearview mirror is actually for in your car. Your rearview
- 5:26Speaker 6: mirror is designed. After I pass a car and I
- 5:32Speaker 6: want to merge into that lane, or I want to
- 5:35Speaker 6: make another move, I look up in the rear view mirror.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And all I use it for it shows me that
- 5:43Speaker 2: I've gotten past it.
- 5:45Speaker 6: I've gotten past the vehicle I was passing, and I
- 5:48Speaker 6: got enough room now clear to make my next move.
- 5:52Speaker 2: That's what I use my rearview mirror for.
- 5:54Speaker 6: I use my rear view mirror to just glance up
- 5:58Speaker 6: every now and then to see what's coming up on me.
- 6:01Speaker 2: That's all I use it for. Listen to me real close.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Now, your rearview mirror on your car is after you
- 6:09Speaker 6: passing something or you're passing by something, you can look
- 6:14Speaker 6: up in the rear view mirror and it lets you
- 6:16Speaker 6: know you're pasted it, you're beyond it. It's clear now,
- 6:21Speaker 6: it's in the past. You no longer have to deal
- 6:24Speaker 6: with it as the car that was in front of
- 6:27Speaker 6: you blocking your way. You have passed it. You look
- 6:31Speaker 6: up in the mirror, you've cleared it. Now if you
- 6:35Speaker 6: on a switch lanes could slide on over, you got room.
- 6:39Speaker 6: But that rearview mirror also lets you see if anything
- 6:42Speaker 6: is coming up on you, and you just need to
- 6:45Speaker 6: glance because if you moving forward and a whole lot
- 6:49Speaker 6: can come up on you. You just glancing every now
- 6:51Speaker 6: and then, and it reminds you that you got through
- 6:54Speaker 6: something and you got beyond something. That's what the rearview
- 6:57Speaker 6: mirror for. Now, let's talk about that windshield. Why you
- 7:02Speaker 6: think that wind shields so big on your car. That's
- 7:06Speaker 6: the biggest window on your car. You know why the
- 7:10Speaker 6: wind shield so big? Because it's where you're going. Because
- 7:16Speaker 6: even the automobile makers want you to have a wide
- 7:19Speaker 6: view of where you're going so you can see what's
- 7:23Speaker 6: up ahead. They put lights on the car at night
- 7:26Speaker 6: so you can have night vision and see what's up ahead.
- 7:29Speaker 6: But you can uh oh man, oh see not why
- 7:33Speaker 6: is that look? Think about that now before I move
- 7:35Speaker 6: forward with this one. Think about that wind shield? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 6: Why is that wind sheh'll so big so you can
- 7:41Speaker 6: see where you're going. It's way more important where you're
- 7:45Speaker 6: going than where you being, don't you see that? That's
- 7:50Speaker 6: why the rear view mirror is so small, because it
- 7:52Speaker 6: is nowhere near as important as it is as to
- 7:55Speaker 6: where you're going. While you being just allows you to
- 7:59Speaker 6: take a glass so you can make sure you cleared
- 8:01Speaker 6: it so you can see if it's room enough for
- 8:03Speaker 6: you to make your next move, so you can know
- 8:05Speaker 6: that you've gone through it and go ahead on about
- 8:07Speaker 6: your business. But that windshield, that windshield is for vision.
- 8:13Speaker 6: A man without a dream of vision shall perish. That
- 8:16Speaker 6: windshield is for somebody going somewhere. That windshielding for somebody
- 8:20Speaker 6: else there trying to make another move. I'm gonna go right,
- 8:23Speaker 6: I'm gonna left. I'm gonna get off on this exit.
- 8:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna take this detail. I'm gonna handle this sign.
- 8:27Speaker 6: There's a new route. There's only so many miles left
- 8:30Speaker 6: to go. That's what the windshield got. Let me tell
- 8:33Speaker 6: you something, man, when you see a mile sign, you're
- 8:35Speaker 6: driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate, and you
- 8:38Speaker 6: let's say you driving to a particular city and you
- 8:40Speaker 6: see a sign that says that city is thirty eight
- 8:44Speaker 6: or one hundred and thirty eight miles away. That lets
- 8:47Speaker 6: you know where you're going, and you're on the right path. Now,
- 8:50Speaker 6: if you keep looking in the rear view mirror, you'll
- 8:54Speaker 6: never know.
- 8:54Speaker 2: How close you are. You'll never know.
- 9:00Speaker 6: You're driving your car looking in the rear view mirror.
- 9:01Speaker 6: You all on the shoulder, you hit them, rocks up
- 9:03Speaker 6: under your car. You just scared yourself to death because
- 9:06Speaker 6: you know why, because you keep looking in the rear
- 9:09Speaker 6: view mirror.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Get out the rear view mirror. If God got you
- 9:13Speaker 2: through it, it's done.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Move on.
- 9:16Speaker 6: So what he don't love you no more? And man,
- 9:20Speaker 6: let's move on. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 9:24Speaker 6: Move on. God got something for you. If you get
- 9:27Speaker 6: out your real view mirror and get up in that windshield.
- 9:30Speaker 6: God's got something for you up ahead, but you can't
- 9:33Speaker 6: see what's up ahead because you in that rear view mirror.
- 9:36Speaker 6: If God got you through it, it's done.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Let's move on.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Come on, y'all, don't let the pass beat you up.
- 9:43Speaker 6: That's the ingredients in the cake. You done made that already,
- 9:47Speaker 6: that's done. Let's go God, look in the windshield, see what.
- 9:50Speaker 6: God probably got something new for you if you get
- 9:52Speaker 6: out the rear view mirror and look, open up your
- 9:54Speaker 6: eyes and see.
- 9:55Speaker 2: All right, let's go today. You're listening hard morning, ladies

- 14:13Speaker 6: warm welcome to this all stitches. All stitches occasion where
- 14:20Speaker 6: we quantify and quantumify the glory as we magnify, realizing
- 14:29Speaker 6: that prosperity is nothing but a death sterity m hm
- 14:36Speaker 6: of the obituary, Yes, sir, and.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And what that means is that when you go.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Bye bye lord, Uh, let us have church complaints with
- 14:57Speaker 6: Deacon death them go ahead death.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Ye, Pastor.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Let's see, let's get down to it.
- 15:03Speaker 5: The uh, the hum ministry, The hum ministry, that's the
- 15:09Speaker 5: ladies who cut off their eyebrows and drew on some
- 15:12Speaker 5: new ones. They're wanting to express themselves, but nobody can
- 15:16Speaker 5: figure out what they're trying to say. It's the hun ministry, Pastor.
- 15:19Speaker 5: So I don't know how you want to I don't
- 15:21Speaker 5: know how you want to handle that. But yeah, they're
- 15:24Speaker 5: asking if if they can express themselves. But that's that's
- 15:29Speaker 5: solely up here. Well, they've opened up a new eyebrow
- 15:33Speaker 5: stitching clinic up the street.
- 15:35Speaker 7: No what.
- 15:39Speaker 6: The new foreign women's is in there, and they can
- 15:42Speaker 6: all put back on your o's eyebrids. We don't know
- 15:49Speaker 6: what country they from, but we do know they're not
- 15:52Speaker 6: from Round Hill. So going there and in the window,
- 15:59Speaker 6: be careful you go in because it says license pending,
- 16:04Speaker 6: so we're not really show. Yeah, but you're going in there,
- 16:08Speaker 6: but it's signed their license pendy, go ahead.
- 16:14Speaker 5: The mother's boy is asking why isn't there a father's boy.
- 16:19Speaker 5: They feel like they're doing too much of their work
- 16:22Speaker 5: and it needs to be equally distributed. That is the
- 16:25Speaker 5: mother's boy that is upset that there's no father's boy
- 16:29Speaker 5: in the church.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Well, you we are not the only church that don't
- 16:35Speaker 6: have a father's boy. Matter of fact, no other church
- 16:38Speaker 6: has a father's boy. Or because of lack of attendance.
- 16:44Speaker 6: For one, let's begin there. And secondly, you just don't
- 16:48Speaker 6: know how many gonna be there on any given time.
- 16:50Speaker 6: It's just overall your lack of attendance. If they're not there,
- 16:53Speaker 6: how they gonna be on the board.
- 17:01Speaker 2: You for follow me? Yeah, follow you clearly.
- 17:06Speaker 11: Uh.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Now this just came up after some of the members
- 17:09Speaker 5: are asking when you annoyed people with oil, what kind
- 17:14Speaker 5: of oil is that they want to make? I guess
- 17:17Speaker 5: they're trying to make sure that's not baby, or they
- 17:19Speaker 5: just won't clarifications.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Have that's whole press, virgin, or how it comes directly
- 17:28Speaker 6: from Jerusalem? Any more questions now that that's that, they
- 17:36Speaker 6: just want to know what all have you pompe upon occasion?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Never never? All right, all right for a special occasion.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Yes, Now this is a sensitive subject, so just take
- 17:50Speaker 4: it as it comes.
- 17:51Speaker 5: The Stuttering Ministry is asking to do a skit for
- 17:55Speaker 5: the Youth Scholarship fundraiser. The kids are begging you to
- 18:00Speaker 5: stop this, but Brother Marvin Fraser, the head of the
- 18:03Speaker 5: Studying Ministry, told little de Marcio.
- 18:07Speaker 2: We were trying to help y'all. You can get get
- 18:10Speaker 2: young mother, mother mother.
- 18:12Speaker 4: We're gonna have to talk to the path.
- 18:16Speaker 6: We uh, let me just say this right here. I
- 18:21Speaker 6: was at the Young Studterers of Easter speech section. They
- 18:25Speaker 6: started there is at four o'clock that evening and ended
- 18:28Speaker 6: at ten thirty that night. Told the ten speeches, we're
- 18:37Speaker 6: not gonna be they're doing or what now, Deacon, the Stattering.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Ministry is uh is asking to do a skip for
- 18:44Speaker 5: the Youth Scholarship soon.
- 18:46Speaker 2: We don't, we don't we we we're not gonna be
- 18:48Speaker 2: able to do that this year because, like I said,
- 18:50Speaker 2: I did.
- 18:51Speaker 6: We did the studying the Easter speech section last year
- 18:54Speaker 6: that started at four pm. At ten thirty, well we
- 18:58Speaker 6: were still in there and we had only ten kids
- 19:01Speaker 6: on the list, and well now I just think what
- 19:06Speaker 6: the key words that was holding them up was Jesus.
- 19:08Speaker 6: They don't do words with Jus sounds. I'm then wealth
- 19:14Speaker 6: or w Jesus wealth. For one boy, whole speech was
- 19:17Speaker 6: just Jesus wealth. That's all he had to say, and
- 19:21Speaker 6: we were it was an eight minute speech.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Good got him at it wrong and the only.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Way he got down. Deacon Pundell went up there and
- 19:32Speaker 6: were laughing so hard. Just walk the boy off. They
- 19:38Speaker 6: videoed it. I played sometime with your prank phone.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Calls, you are mixing stock character.
- 19:50Speaker 5: The men in the church are asking if you could
- 19:52Speaker 5: get the ladies to come to church next Sunday with
- 19:55Speaker 5: no makeup on, no makeup. They want to see what
- 19:59Speaker 5: they really working with. That's where they ask. And if
- 20:01Speaker 5: you can get the lady at the comedy church, uh
- 20:04Speaker 5: next week with no makeup on. They just want to
- 20:07Speaker 5: see what they really We have plenty of women in
- 20:10Speaker 5: this church.
- 20:11Speaker 2: That can come with no makeup on, and they look
- 20:13Speaker 2: absolutely wonderful.
- 20:15Speaker 10: All right, amen, that's the word a word. Yes, I
- 20:21Speaker 10: know there's a butt to this pulse.
- 20:24Speaker 6: It is, but it's fifteen of them that cannot come.
- 20:27Speaker 6: Then if you didn't get an email to come or
- 20:35Speaker 6: baseless faceless or makeup list. If you didn't get an email,
- 20:39Speaker 6: you are excluded from that. Please put your makeup on
- 20:43Speaker 6: and come and you sit in your regular.
- 20:46Speaker 9: Section have been set out.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, if you didn't get an evite there there there
- 20:52Speaker 2: was no mistakes made.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 20:56Speaker 9: Morning show coming up at the top of the hour, and.
- 20:59Speaker 10: Are we can review an explicit video of Diddy and
- 21:02Speaker 10: an unidentified A list male celebrity is for sale to
- 21:06Speaker 10: the highest bidder. Atlanta's fake veneer specialist is arrested for
- 21:10Speaker 10: posting as a dentist for years. He's been doing this
- 21:13Speaker 10: for years. And tropical Storm Milton is headed towards Florida.
- 21:18Speaker 10: That's all coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:20Speaker 10: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:24Speaker 10: Our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. This
- 21:27Speaker 10: one's from Shauna and Saint Louis. Shawna says, my husband
- 21:31Speaker 10: started coming in the shower on me without us talking
- 21:35Speaker 10: about it, he said. His therapist said, it's a great
- 21:38Speaker 10: way to bond. I don't want to bond. I want
- 21:41Speaker 10: to bathe.
- 21:43Speaker 1: How do I tell him.
- 21:44Speaker 9: It's not working and I would rather shower alone in peace.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Well, see that's some problem with therapy.
- 21:52Speaker 6: I think that if you a coupling, you go into
- 21:54Speaker 6: therapy by yourself, you probably take your partner in there.
- 21:57Speaker 6: Because look what didn't happen. THEYDN gave him ignorant ass
- 22:01Speaker 6: piece of advice.
- 22:02Speaker 9: Go in there and shower in a bond.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Now, the woman, I don't want to bond. I wanna
- 22:06Speaker 6: be in here by myself. See something right there, that
- 22:09Speaker 6: therapist right there, Because a person as a therapist don't
- 22:13Speaker 6: mean they know what they're talking about. Because if the
- 22:16Speaker 6: therapists don't know the other person, now you're creating a problem.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Now she done rode in on the letter.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I thank you.
- 22:21Speaker 6: I think I think what you're gonna have to do,
- 22:23Speaker 6: say sisters, say listen to me. Tell your therapist to
- 22:27Speaker 6: mind her damn this, oh God, and tell your therapist
- 22:33Speaker 6: to find another way for us to bond, because it
- 22:36Speaker 6: ain't gonna be in the shower you already know this
- 22:39Speaker 6: shower ain't that big?
- 22:41Speaker 2: What is you in here for?
- 22:43Speaker 9: I don't want to bond.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I want to be okay, right.
- 22:46Speaker 6: I love that line, and then I can assure you
- 22:49Speaker 6: he ain't in there just just trying to bond. That's
- 22:55Speaker 6: the problem. He in there trying to you know, see
- 22:59Speaker 6: you see you go too far now, hermit, she said, bond,
- 23:02Speaker 6: She say nothing about all this help.
- 23:06Speaker 2: All right, cause then you're gonna go in there? She
- 23:09Speaker 2: neck and and she went, what do you want to do?
- 23:14Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:14Speaker 10: Moving on to Tyler and Lancaster, Tyler writes, I'm twenty five.
- 23:18Speaker 10: I asked my crush to go to a Cowboys game
- 23:20Speaker 10: for our first date. She asked if we were going
- 23:23Speaker 10: to dinner too. I told her I expected us to
- 23:26Speaker 10: eat at the game because I can't do both.
- 23:28Speaker 9: The tickets were very expensive. Do I have to buy
- 23:31Speaker 9: dinner too?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Well? I mean, all she did was ask are we
- 23:35Speaker 2: going to dinner after the game?
- 23:37Speaker 7: You?
- 23:38Speaker 6: You the one said no, why ain't watch your first date?
- 23:41Speaker 6: Why don't I just go to dinner? Because it seemed
- 23:43Speaker 6: like you want to eat at the game and she
- 23:45Speaker 6: want to eat after the game. No, you should have
- 23:48Speaker 6: went to the dog going dinner for your first date.
- 23:51Speaker 9: He already got the tickets though.
- 23:54Speaker 6: Well, see, bro, I don't think she's being like unrealistic.
- 23:57Speaker 6: She just asked a question, are we going to dinner afterwards?
- 24:01Speaker 6: Because she gonna wear something? You know, I don't see
- 24:06Speaker 6: why the hell you would buy a ticket to a
- 24:07Speaker 6: damn cowboy. And I'm just gonna be real with your dog.
- 24:10Speaker 6: They being from Cleveland, I don't.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Really see it.

- 24:25Speaker 9: But at twenty five sports bar, I see the game

- 24:30Speaker 9: game and that's it, that's their day.
- 24:33Speaker 1: But so not going to the game is not better
- 24:36Speaker 1: than watching it at a sports bar. Not if we
- 24:38Speaker 1: can't afford it. He can't.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Well, Junior, I disagree with you on that because I
- 24:44Speaker 6: just I think if you're gonna meet a girl, this
- 24:47Speaker 6: is your crust. Get get into a place where y'all
- 24:49Speaker 6: can talk. You can't even talk at the game.
- 24:51Speaker 2: It's loud. Yeah, I see that brother. You made a
- 24:54Speaker 2: mistake in the very beginning. Should have just went to dinner.
- 24:59Speaker 9: But he already got tickets now, so they're gonna have to.
- 25:03Speaker 6: She may not even be a football fan. She's gonna
- 25:06Speaker 6: ask you a bunch of questions about it.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Maybe she isn't well why he got the tickets.
- 25:17Speaker 9: That's what he wanted to do.
- 25:18Speaker 2: For sure.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I don't want to go to the gay.
- 25:23Speaker 9: Let's go all right.

- 25:29Speaker 10: first time in years, my husband is in the Christmas spirit.
- 25:33Speaker 10: I love that for him, but I hate how he
- 25:36Speaker 10: wants to ruin my holidays by visiting his parents. He
- 25:39Speaker 10: knows I hate them and vice versa. Why can't he
- 25:43Speaker 10: go visit his evil parents?
- 25:44Speaker 6: By r?
- 25:46Speaker 3: Wow?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Wow?

- 26:09Speaker 2: hate his parents, They help you, and he loved them.
- 26:12Speaker 6: He's in the Christmas spirit for the first time in years,
- 26:16Speaker 6: and he wants to go see his parents. You know, man,
- 26:19Speaker 6: I feel for your sister. I don't know what to
- 26:22Speaker 6: tell you. You don't want to go up there. You're
- 26:26Speaker 6: happy for him that he's in the Christmas spirit. You

- 35:15Speaker 2: Nothing you can do. You can't stop the winds, I
- 35:18Speaker 2: think too.
- 35:19Speaker 12: Evacuating those that can afford to, they will evacuate. But
- 35:24Speaker 12: when it's this kind of storms, and we've seen this
- 35:26Speaker 12: over and over, Florida's getting hit like this a weekend
- 35:30Speaker 12: to back. Yeah, this is late hurricane season. Yeah, y'all
- 35:34Speaker 12: can't predict what's gonna happen.
- 35:35Speaker 4: You save your life.
- 35:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 1: The old way of riding out hurricanes that's.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Gone up in all that's out, that's all on top
- 35:44Speaker 5: of the roof, all that out man.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah, he's warm.

- 35:51Speaker 10: less than thirty days away from the November fifth election.

- 35:59Speaker 2: Morning.
- 36:01Speaker 10: We're less than thirty days from election day, and early
- 36:04Speaker 10: voting has started in some areas. Go to vote dot gov.
- 36:08Speaker 10: That's vote dot gov to be sure you're registered to vote,

- 36:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you know? I did you know? There was a
- 36:47Speaker 2: period where I didn't vote when I was home, so
- 36:49Speaker 2: I didn't know. Oh, I have them all much deeper concerns, ah,
- 36:54Speaker 2: going on way deep.
- 36:56Speaker 6: I ain't even know where Novimba fourth was Yeah, but
- 36:59Speaker 6: you know, I was just something I look forward to
- 37:01Speaker 6: because you know, my parents were older and talked about
- 37:04Speaker 6: the right to vote, and they did not miss and
- 37:07Speaker 6: they kind of engraved that in me. So I came
- 37:10Speaker 6: from such an older generation, like I'm considered old now.
- 37:13Speaker 9: So no, I think that that's true.
- 37:16Speaker 10: That's where I learned about voting and the importance of
- 37:18Speaker 10: voting and all that through my parents, because they didn't
- 37:20Speaker 10: And you.
- 37:21Speaker 6: Know, I mean, I mean, I think we need to
- 37:22Speaker 6: hold on to that voting privilege and that voting obligation
- 37:28Speaker 6: because to me, its just honors to hard work that
- 37:31Speaker 6: so many of our forefathers, parents, grandparents put into this
- 37:35Speaker 6: thing because they fought so hard for us to be
- 37:37Speaker 6: able to. But you know, we live in the world
- 37:40Speaker 6: today where we're reversing everything, and so this is one
- 37:43Speaker 6: of the things too. I ain't going down there and vote.
- 37:45Speaker 6: I ain't waste my time. But man, y'all, come on,
- 37:48Speaker 6: I cannot complain about what's on the menu if you
- 37:51Speaker 6: ain't sitting at the table.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, true, it's so important.
- 37:56Speaker 2: It's very very important.
- 38:00Speaker 9: Vote matter.
- 38:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and it doesn't matter y'all who sits on a podcast.
- 38:03Speaker 6: Let me, tell everybody got a podcast, podcasts and Facebook
- 38:08Speaker 6: Live proves to me why they have such a process
- 38:11Speaker 6: in Hollywood on who they give a TV show to?
- 38:14Speaker 6: Everybody don't need me. And if you listen to some
- 38:19Speaker 6: of these podcasts and some of these people is trying
- 38:22Speaker 6: to play an authoritative figure. But it's it's so much
- 38:27Speaker 6: negativity out there, man, That's what I'm alarmed about. And
- 38:31Speaker 6: negativity has spread over into the vote voting community too,
- 38:34Speaker 6: and it's a sad thing, man, because voting is not
- 38:38Speaker 6: it's it's an honor.
- 38:39Speaker 12: It's like, you know, social media, a lot of people
- 38:42Speaker 12: get their information mostly about what's going on in the world.
- 38:47Speaker 1: News, voting, candidates, whatever it is.
- 38:50Speaker 12: And sometimes social media is wrong, and people that are
- 38:53Speaker 12: commenting and hosting podcasts and all that, sometimes they make mistakes.
- 38:59Speaker 12: They don't the proper vetting and research. They want to
- 39:02Speaker 12: be first with everything to get the information out and
- 39:04Speaker 12: it's incorrect oftentimes, and it's like what are y'all talking about?
- 39:09Speaker 9: Correct exactly, but again, go to vote dot gov vote
- 39:13Speaker 9: dot gov. Okay.
- 39:14Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hours, Sister
- 39:17Speaker 10: Odell is back and we'll talk to her right after

- 45:53Speaker 5: This is baby chick, baby chick, cat dog, If you would,
- 45:58Speaker 5: I'm trying to reach the manager. He is.
- 46:03Speaker 14: This is one I think you were calling you.
- 46:05Speaker 7: Are you the manager there?
- 46:07Speaker 14: Yes, sir?
- 46:07Speaker 7: Your name one, yes, sir, this is one. Okay, I
- 46:11Speaker 7: need to actually file a lawsuit on y'all. And I'm
- 46:13Speaker 7: actually calling you first to let you know that I'm
- 46:16Speaker 7: getting ready to file a lawsuit on the whole grocery store.
- 46:19Speaker 7: Uh for what did happened to me?
- 46:21Speaker 2: Sir?
- 46:22Speaker 14: Let me let me get the hold on a second.
- 46:24Speaker 14: So let me do this.
- 46:25Speaker 15: Let me let me tell what what did you say?
- 46:27Speaker 6: Your name was?
- 46:28Speaker 7: My name is Evans. Evans is my name, So Evans is.
- 46:32Speaker 14: Your last name. Let me let me write this down.
- 46:35Speaker 14: And you came into my store? Did you have an
- 46:37Speaker 14: accident in my store or something? I'm not exact to
- 46:40Speaker 14: show what you're calling about.
- 46:41Speaker 7: I ain't had no accident. What happened was I came
- 46:44Speaker 7: in there yesterday and I bought a bunch of grocers
- 46:47Speaker 7: that I bought a card in the eggs right now.
- 46:49Speaker 7: When I got home, I was checking to make sure
- 46:52Speaker 7: the eggs didn't didn't break on the way home. When
- 46:54Speaker 7: I got home, it was a baby chick inside the
- 46:58Speaker 7: egg cardon man, one of the it had hatch and
- 47:01Speaker 7: got my kids traumatized. Now they don't even want to
- 47:04Speaker 7: eat breakfast or nothing around here because there's a baby
- 47:06Speaker 7: chick put inside caught the eggs. That don't make no sense.
- 47:10Speaker 14: Man, I don't mean to let me so you tell
- 47:15Speaker 14: me it was a chicken, a baby chicken, actual chicken and.
- 47:19Speaker 7: A baby chick inside the caught in the eggs. Man,
- 47:22Speaker 7: you got my kids traumatized. Man, don't nobody want eggs
- 47:26Speaker 7: if you just see it, don't.
- 47:27Speaker 14: Little rout here, because if you're just calming down for
- 47:29Speaker 14: one second, listen.
- 47:32Speaker 7: What I told y'all put that chicken down and there
- 47:35Speaker 7: put it down. It might have rayze say what.
- 47:38Speaker 14: I don't even think that that's possible. First of all,
- 47:41Speaker 14: if you had any idea how this thing comes from
- 47:44Speaker 14: the farm to the store, it is they go over
- 47:47Speaker 14: these eggs a countless some of the times. And the
- 47:50Speaker 14: tempest and the phraser first of all, wouldn't even allow
- 47:53Speaker 14: for a chicken to be alive if.
- 47:55Speaker 6: You had a baby.
- 47:56Speaker 7: I don't know I did this one. I don't know
- 48:00Speaker 7: how this one got passed the system, okay, But what
- 48:03Speaker 7: I do know is we got a baby chick over
- 48:06Speaker 7: here running around because the all stow ain't doing what
- 48:10Speaker 7: you're supposed to do. Man, and I got it and nothing.
- 48:12Speaker 7: My kids are traumatized behind this.
- 48:14Speaker 15: When did you say you in here?
- 48:15Speaker 7: So I was in there yesterday. I bought the eggs yesterday, man,
- 48:19Speaker 7: down here at Alm Street, Yes, I bought them except
- 48:23Speaker 7: the grocery store. I sure did.
- 48:25Speaker 14: Okay, but do this. Why don't you bring the eggs
- 48:28Speaker 14: into me and the chick?
- 48:29Speaker 7: So now you want me to transport a baby chick
- 48:33Speaker 7: back to the grocery store. Look, we already traumatized over here,
- 48:37Speaker 7: already behind this dog on baby chick.
- 48:39Speaker 14: Man, I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to.
- 48:44Speaker 15: Pull here, but I just don't I don't think that.
- 48:47Speaker 14: First of all, whew, I A common sense will tell
- 48:50Speaker 14: you that that's not possible. First of all, you can't
- 48:53Speaker 14: have a baby chick living in a dozen ads.
- 48:56Speaker 7: There is no.
- 48:57Speaker 15: Possible way that this.
- 48:59Speaker 14: The temperature and life freezers are right above freezing the
- 49:02Speaker 14: no chickens or fragile creature in the first place. You
- 49:05Speaker 14: can't have a little bird that is not gonna survive
- 49:08Speaker 14: the transport from the farm to the factory to my store.
- 49:12Speaker 15: Then I'm not kidding.
- 49:15Speaker 7: Then hey, hey, hey, I'm not gonna go back and forth.
- 49:18Speaker 14: But you, hulliby, if you want to bring me a
- 49:21Speaker 14: dozen eggs, bring the dozen eggs in if you can
- 49:24Speaker 14: catch the chick, catch a chick.
- 49:26Speaker 7: Hey man, you okay, you're just supposed to be the
- 49:27Speaker 7: minute you're not supposed to talk to me like that.
- 49:29Speaker 15: So I'm all tell you as politely as possible, if
- 49:33Speaker 15: you want to bring in the lemon eggs and a chick,
- 49:36Speaker 15: I will gladly with front.
- 49:37Speaker 14: Of your money, give you another car, ask whatever you
- 49:40Speaker 14: want to do.
- 49:40Speaker 15: But I'm not you with all ham and I'm.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Not all a lawsuit because y'all in traumatize me and
- 49:45Speaker 7: my kids.
- 49:47Speaker 14: Sir, listen, all right, let's just bring this down a lawsuit, sir,
- 49:51Speaker 14: over a dozen eggs.
- 49:54Speaker 7: Over a dozen eggs that got a baby chick in it.
- 49:57Speaker 14: Man, let me think it, don't no, not as some
- 50:00Speaker 14: information and all talks to my manager and we will
- 50:04Speaker 14: figure this thing out for you, because I just I
- 50:06Speaker 14: just don't believe that this would be possible. I just
- 50:09Speaker 14: I don't understand how you would have a chick.
- 50:13Speaker 7: Just leave him over that, don't touch the chicken.
- 50:17Speaker 14: I just don't believe that this could possibly be happy.
- 50:19Speaker 14: So this is it's unbelievable to me to even get
- 50:22Speaker 14: this from sir.
- 50:23Speaker 7: I don't have time to go back and forth with
- 50:26Speaker 7: you about how something happened. All I know is it
- 50:29Speaker 7: may be is some fluke accident, okay, but it happened
- 50:32Speaker 7: my kids are over here playing with a baby chick,
- 50:36Speaker 7: and I'm traumatized. I don't even want to ever have
- 50:38Speaker 7: prick but up again, and I'm over to make show.
- 50:41Speaker 7: I file a lawsuit on your show, and your show me,
- 50:46Speaker 7: I just.
- 50:46Speaker 15: Set anything to do with me. I didn't do anything.
- 50:50Speaker 14: Except come into rus today. You understand what I'm saying.
- 50:53Speaker 7: If you want to file a loss in Okay, I
- 50:54Speaker 7: don't found a lawsuit. I'm found alas on the grocery store,
- 50:58Speaker 7: and I'm found a lawsuit on the Warren, which is
- 51:01Speaker 7: your for giving me a hard time about what I'm
- 51:04Speaker 7: telling you that happened.
- 51:06Speaker 15: I don't even got a hard time out of kne
- 51:07Speaker 15: left you. I'm saying. I'm saying you are a hard
- 51:09Speaker 15: time comes down here when i'm dad.
- 51:11Speaker 7: I'm bringing the bag down here, and I'm bringing that
- 51:14Speaker 7: baby chick back down there too. I'm bringing all of it.
- 51:18Speaker 15: Well prose, because i'd like to see it about how
- 51:20Speaker 15: much did you pay for them days?
- 51:21Speaker 7: I played by two? It dout. It ain't about how
- 51:23Speaker 7: much I'm paid for the egg. It's what you have
- 51:25Speaker 7: trauma time?
- 51:26Speaker 15: Oh yeah, because I'm gonna give you just what much

- 54:02Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 54:03Speaker 10: Nephew's subject. His female friend was in his bed, Stephen Shirley.
- 54:08Speaker 10: My boyfriend was out of town, so I went to
- 54:11Speaker 10: pick up our dog so he could stay with me.
- 54:13Speaker 10: I heard a female voice say, hello, who's there. I
- 54:17Speaker 10: knew the voice, so I walked back to my boyfriend's
- 54:20Speaker 10: bedroom and it was his female friend lying in his bed.
- 54:24Speaker 10: She was all cozy under the covers watching a movie.
- 54:28Speaker 10: I remained calm as I asked why she was there.
- 54:32Speaker 10: She said that she had been that she has been
- 54:34Speaker 10: having issues with her marriage, so my boyfriend suggested that
- 54:38Speaker 10: she stay at his house while he was out of town.
- 54:41Speaker 10: She said that he was supposed to tell me about it.
- 54:43Speaker 10: I played it off like maybe he did tell me,
- 54:46Speaker 10: and I forgot. I noticed this woman was wrapped up
- 54:49Speaker 10: in the monogrammed robe I gave my boyfriend for Christmas.
- 54:53Speaker 10: As she explained how special my boyfriend is to her
- 54:56Speaker 10: and how he always gives her great advice about her marriage.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Lo and Behold.
- 55:02Speaker 10: My boyfriend facetimed her as we were talking. She immediately
- 55:06Speaker 10: let him know that I was there too. He asked
- 55:09Speaker 10: about the dog before he acknowledged that I was in
- 55:12Speaker 10: the room. He said, he loved me and he missed me,
- 55:15Speaker 10: so honestly, I don't think anything's going on with her,
- 55:19Speaker 10: but this is an ongoing thing, and he never understood
- 55:22Speaker 10: why am I Why I am so bothered by it
- 55:24Speaker 10: until recently. I was waiting for the perfect moment to
- 55:28Speaker 10: retaliate on him, and my oldest male friend was my accomplice.
- 55:33Speaker 10: On Friday, my friend was lying in my bed watching
- 55:37Speaker 10: TV when my boyfriend came over. My boyfriend was so
- 55:41Speaker 10: mad that he broke up with me. He said, that's
- 55:44Speaker 10: how people get hurt. I told him he did it
- 55:46Speaker 10: to me and it was no big deal, so he
- 55:48Speaker 10: shouldn't be upset with me. Was it childish to plot
- 55:52Speaker 10: and plan my revenge or did he deserve it? Well,
- 55:56Speaker 10: of course, two wrongs don't make a right, but there
- 55:59Speaker 10: is no question he deserved it. The problem is that
- 56:03Speaker 10: he and no other man in the world would be
- 56:05Speaker 10: able to take that payback. They just can't cope with
- 56:08Speaker 10: what they do. You know, it gets when it gets
- 56:11Speaker 10: turned back on them. They don't want to try to
- 56:14Speaker 10: understand or see how it feels, how it makes us feel.
- 56:17Speaker 10: I'm surprised you didn't go off on her though, when
- 56:19Speaker 10: you saw in the bed and in the robe that
- 56:23Speaker 10: you gave him for Christmas. You still didn't get mad
- 56:25Speaker 10: at him when he facetimed her and asked about the
- 56:28Speaker 10: dog before he asked about you. Like he said, it
- 56:31Speaker 10: was no big deal when you walked in on his
- 56:33Speaker 10: friend in his bed, But that was, I'm sure hurtful,
- 56:37Speaker 10: humiliating to you.
- 56:38Speaker 3: All of that.
- 56:39Speaker 10: It's a horrible thing about the double standard in life.
- 56:42Speaker 10: You know what's so different about you doing the exact
- 56:45Speaker 10: same thing to you and to him when you had
- 56:48Speaker 10: another man in your bed.
- 56:50Speaker 9: Nothing but men make it out to be so much worse,
- 56:54Speaker 9: so much worse. It isn't.
- 56:56Speaker 1: It's the same.
- 56:57Speaker 9: It is the same thing. It's the same. It's no
- 57:01Speaker 9: matter what they say. It's the same. But the man's
- 57:06Speaker 9: ego can't take it. And when he got mad he
- 57:08Speaker 9: broke up to you.
- 57:09Speaker 10: It is the same thing, it really, It really is
- 57:12Speaker 10: just as well, I think because of you know what happened.
- 57:16Speaker 10: Because it's so called best friend, it's always going to
- 57:19Speaker 10: be there. She's always gonna be there. They're both disrespectful,
- 57:22Speaker 10: they're selfish, and you would never be his priority. You're
- 57:25Speaker 10: better off without him, Steve.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Girl. By all, let me just tell y'all something. It
- 57:32Speaker 2: is not the same.
- 57:33Speaker 6: It is, and I'm gonna explain to you why it
- 57:36Speaker 6: ain't that same when we come back, and it's really
- 57:39Speaker 6: obvious why it's not the same. Now, let me explain
- 57:43Speaker 6: something to you. Everybody in this letter wrong. Everybody in
- 57:49Speaker 6: this letter is wrong. The boyfriend is wrong, the girl
- 57:54Speaker 6: that wrote the letter is wrong. The girlfriend that was
- 57:58Speaker 6: in the bed is wrong, and the boyfriend that was in.
- 58:01Speaker 2: The bed is wrong.
- 58:02Speaker 6: These some young people right here, grown ass people, real
- 58:06Speaker 6: grown ass people know you can't play like this.
- 58:09Speaker 2: They already know that.
- 58:11Speaker 6: And I don't know how they even got into this man,
- 58:13Speaker 6: And I will here we go his female friend was
- 58:17Speaker 6: in his bed? How many times? I'm I'm not gonna
- 58:21Speaker 6: be upset with it today because I have explained this
- 58:25Speaker 6: to y'all over and over. You're very calm, and you know,
- 58:30Speaker 6: because surely I'm gonna try a different way because I've
- 58:34Speaker 6: told you over and over about this friend thing with
- 58:39Speaker 6: these opposite six and he's attracted to this girl and
- 58:44Speaker 6: I'm telling you, and now they friends and.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Not listen to them.
- 58:49Speaker 6: So your boyfriend out of town, so she go over
- 58:51Speaker 6: there to pick their dog up so he could stay
- 58:54Speaker 6: with me. I heard a female voice say, hello, who's there.
- 58:58Speaker 6: I knew the voice, so I walked back to my
- 59:00Speaker 6: boyfriend bedroom and it was his female friend lying in
- 59:04Speaker 6: his bed. She was all cozy under the covers, watching
- 59:07Speaker 6: the movie. I was calm as I asked her why
- 59:10Speaker 6: she was there. She said she had been having issues
- 59:12Speaker 6: with her marriage. So my boyfriend suggested she stay at
- 59:16Speaker 6: his house while he was.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Out of town.
- 59:18Speaker 6: What right, bro right here, what's the matter with you?
- 59:22Speaker 6: She ain't got nowhere else she can go? But okay,
- 59:25Speaker 6: I'm telling y'all man, y'all all right?
- 59:27Speaker 2: So my boyfriend.
- 59:28Speaker 6: Suggested she stayed at his house while he was She
- 59:31Speaker 6: said that he was supposed to tell me about it,
- 59:34Speaker 6: so I played it off like maybe he did tell me,
- 59:36Speaker 6: and I forgot.
- 59:37Speaker 2: I noticed this woman was wrapped up in the monogram robe.
- 59:40Speaker 6: I gave my boyfriend for Christmas a real sister would
- 59:43Speaker 6: have told her toe that rope right off her ass.
- 59:48Speaker 6: But now y'all young, and you sitting up here just
- 59:50Speaker 6: making notes. She got this robe on with his name
- 59:53Speaker 6: on it, and then she explained how special a boyfriend
- 59:57Speaker 6: is and how he always gives her great advice about
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: her marriage. Lo and behold, my boyfriend facetimed as we
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: were talking. She immediately let him know I was there too.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: That was the cold to let him know, Hey, don't
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: say nothing crazy. And why you FaceTime in your friend
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: and you know she in your bed? What y'all fend
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: to see on FaceTime?
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: Girl?
- 1:00:17Speaker 14: Bye?
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: coming up at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: subject his female friend was in his bed. We'll get
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: back into it right after this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: The subject his female friend was in his bed.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Yeah, So now this lady and this man Nayed Dayton.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: He got a dog.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: He went over there to pick up dog because man
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: was out of town. She heard a voice in the back.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: It was a woman, who's there? She recognized the voice
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: went in the back. His best friend, who was a girl,
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: was laying in the bed, tucked under the comforter, watching
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: a movie. They started talking. She said, Oh, I'm over
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: here because I'm having some issues in my marriage. And
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: he told me to stay over here. Why he was gone,
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: And I thought he told you about me because he
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: was supposed to tell you. He didn't tell her about
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: it because he didn't want her to know about it,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: but she done walked over there and found out about it.
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: So now she was talking about how he gives great
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: advice and all this here. And then all of a sudden,
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: the phone rang and it's the boyfriend and he's face
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: timing his friend who's in his bed, facetiming her for
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: what She quickly let him know that she was in
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: the room. But before he said anything to her, he
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: called about the dog. That's to act like that's what
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: he was calling about, was the dog. And so then
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: he started talking about He started talking about how he
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: loved her and misses her and all this here. And
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: so then the lady says, I, honestly, I don't think
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: anything's going on with her. Oh god, you stupid. Yeah, Oh,
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: this is how men get away with so much because
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: some women want to believe in there. They they don't
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: want to do what they mind telling them to do.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: They keep listening to their heart. I don't think there's
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: nothing going on her, but this is an ongoing thing
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: and he never understood why I'm so bothered by Until recently.
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: I was waiting for the perfect moment to retaliate my
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: oldest male friend. Here we go again, where y'all keep
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: coming out with these damn opposite sex friends from now?
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: Watch what this food did.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: My oldest.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: Male friend was an accomplished On Friday, my friend was
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: lying in my bed watching TV when my boyfriend came over.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: What what y'all got to be? Young man?
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: Ain't no grown ass man thought this was a good idea.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: I'm gonna lay in this and lay in his bed
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: when this dude come over to act like we chilling man,
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: Shirley said, it's the same thing when you do it,
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: it's not And I'm gonna tell you why because the
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: dude said it in the letter. The dude said, he said,
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: that's how people get hurt. Because when a man gets
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: disrespected by what he think is another man, there's gonna
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: be some type of physical confrontation.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: This could have gone really, really wrong. And that's the difference.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: You back there talking to her, speaking to him on FaceTime,
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: or you know, taking the inventory she got the monogram
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: rob Bone. She didn't having a conversation talking about her
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: life problems. Him and the other dude. They didn't have
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: no such a conversation. I promise you they didn't. And
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: all the boyfriend told her was, Hey, I'm gonna tell
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: you right now, this is how people get hurt right here.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: And he broke up with her about it because it
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: is a double standing. It has always been a double standing.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: And neither I nor him created the double standing. In
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: the words of Slick Harvey to my older sisters, you
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: can't do what I do and still be a lady.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: I'm sorry, but that's the way it is, y'all. Ain't
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: got nothing do with me. It don't got it no
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: matter if I live by that or nothing. That's just
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: the way it is. I told him that's what he
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: did to me, and it was no big deal, so
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: he shouldn't be upset with me. Was it childish to
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: plot and play my revenge?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Or he did he deserve it?
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: No, it was stupid of you to two wrongs don't
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: make a right. So you thought you'd do this to
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: him so he could see how it felt. Well, guess
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: what he felt.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: He left you. But you got a man in your
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: bed and your boyfriend walk in and see the man
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: on the bed. Y'all, y'all play this ain't how you
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: play what. I don't understand this generation.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: Man, it's no fifty year old people that do that, because,
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: first of all, you ask a grown ass man lay
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: on my bed with my boyfriend. Girl, I ain't finna
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: get shot what you're talking about. But these as young people. Man,
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: all right, I'm gonna go over there and do it.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna lay on the bed that it'll be cool.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: Let him get a taste of his own medicine. This
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: is a different generation, y'all.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I listen to me.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: I strongly suggest this don't happen. Now here's my opinion.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: Do I think he's seeing a married woman that's fifty
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: to fifty. That's fifty fifty, But she showed and took
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: a whole lot of liberties. Yeah, And here was another thing.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: If you got all these problems, you can't go nowhere
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: else where. Your mama, where your sister's at? Where your
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: girlfriends at? Are you over my house? Because he wanted
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: her over there? And then he facetimed. That's all I
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: have to say about this letter. I have told y'all,
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: let me get back and over and over about these.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Friends in the opposite sex. It always leads to problems.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Why won't you see that?
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: What more can I do?
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: Why me?
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: What?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: It's all? I've it was done? You know what, I'm a.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: Tyree, sy'all on one of these letters. I'm gonna have
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: some beautiful pain. Now what I'm gonna do?

- 1:08:30Speaker 8: Oh, but you can't right back though. Bears thirty eight
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: to ten over the Panthers. Now, did he got another shaka?
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: You did?

- 1:10:23Speaker 10: sat next to his female boss on the flight there
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: and back. When we got back home, I told my
- 1:10:29Speaker 10: husband that he should have tried to change my ticket
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: so I could have been sitting with him on the flight.
- 1:10:33Speaker 10: His response was so hurtful. He told me that I
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: am problematic when it comes to stuff like this. He said,
- 1:10:40Speaker 10: I need to put my feelings aside and realize it
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: was a free work trip that he let me tag
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: along on. He's one hundred percent correct that it was
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: a free trip, but it but does it mean I
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: have to sit twelve rows behind him?
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: Wow? Yeah, Wow. You guys take their.

- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Put us somewhere behind me, right, that's not nice tagging along.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: There's a lot of hurt for work tagging along free.

- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: What kind of drama that is in your household the

- 1:12:58Speaker 10: my husband is against it. He told me that a
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: married woman shouldn't do things like that. So when he
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: wants to have another threesome, should I tell him that

- 1:19:40Speaker 10: Would you rather an ocean front Airbnb? Or would you
- 1:19:44Speaker 10: rather an ocean front hotel suite?
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: I want the hotel suite. I like amenities.
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: You want that room service. Yeah, I ain't never been

- 1:19:57Speaker 6: to get the dog, don't know what does she being?
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: All right, guys, that's today's round of would you rather?
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: Thank you?
- 1:20:05Speaker 10: Coming up next? It is our last break of the day,
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: and we'll close out the show with the one and
- 1:20:09Speaker 10: only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:12Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: are last break of the day on this Monday. It's
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: been a good day.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: And what today? Why today? Wonderful?
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: Hey?
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: I have some closing remarks. I Shirley was doing the
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: story earlier.
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: About a young man that she had ran up into
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: and he was talking about he was voting for Trump,
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: and Shirley asked him why. He said, because at least
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: with him, you know what you're getting. And besides that
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: she ain't even black, no way, this was just this weekend,
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: you know. For you to make that statement, it troubles
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: me in a couple of ways. First of all, let's
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: just deal with the black part. If she wasn't black,
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: that's why you not gonna vote for her. Or if
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: she is black, that's why you're not gonna vote for her.
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: See that that thing carries the same rock in it
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: that that you know, man, that that race rock. Now,
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: the other part that's troubling to me is when the
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: young man said, because with Trump, you know what you get,
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: and that's why you're gonna vote for him, because you
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: don't have to wonder how he is.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: So the fact that he's a racist, that's okay. The
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: fact that he.
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: Cares nothing about the common man, that's okay. The fact
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: that he has filled up the Supreme Court with people
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: who now want to tell women what to do with
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: they bodies, that's okay. And then Shirley confronted the young
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: man and told him do your research commonists back, did
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: you know her follow is Jamaica? Really, hey man, I
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: don't know what it is about social media world.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: I just don't. But you can't get all your information
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: on TikTok. Sometimes you're gonna have to You're gonna have
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: to watch CNN, You're gonna have to watch the news.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Let somebody give you some facts. But all of your
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: information can't be off TikTok. All of your information can't
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: come from podcasts.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: Look, the invention of podcasts and ig live and Facebook
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: live has just verified the fact of why in Hollywood
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: it's so hard to get a TV show because everybody
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: don't need to be on TV. If you look at
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: some of these podcasts, most of these podcasts today have
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: such a negative twist to them. It's crazy, man. But
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: if that's your world, I'm gonna tell you something. I
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: had a very very interesting conversation with an employee of mind,
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: really good employee. But I was just looking and I said,
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: you know, if I were you, I would kind of
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: watch what you do on social media. You should be careful.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: He's younger, I said, you should be careful. Wow, I
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: just like to let people know. I said, but see,
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: I said, what is your ambition? And so he told
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: me what his goal and ambition was and I said,
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: but see, then you turn around and said you post
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: because you like to let people know. I said, so
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: do you get gratification or satisfaction from clicks and likes?
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: He said, yeah, everybody do. I say, then there's your reward.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: I said, see, bro, if you posting to get clicks
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: and likes, remember when you post for clicks and likes,
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: the universe does not differentiate between good and bad. They
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: just respond to your wish. So now you get clicks,
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: but every click ain't going to be a like. And sometimes, man,
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: you open up yourself to hatred, and sometimes you open
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: up yourself to the just the forces of evil. It's
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: negative people out there who's pulling against you, and if
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: they know all your business, it's owning cracking. I'm saying
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: that to say, young people, stop trying to get all
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: your information off TikTok. Go somewhere and learn some real facts.
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: Everything on on social media. Social media is the devil's playground.
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: It's just going further and further down down the rabbit
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: hole man, and I don't know that we're gonna get
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: it back, but I do know we have a chance
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: here in this upcoming election to make a difference. Stop
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: all this. She ain't black, she is. Stop all this.
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: She put all these brothers in prison. She didn't learn
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: the facts, man, and get off the fence. We have
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: less than thirty some days now.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Who on the fence?
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: What do you need to know?
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: And as nobody at this point gonna say anything new.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: If you on the fence and you're undecided, here's my
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: suggestion for you. Vote for the smarter candidate, Jesse. If
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: you want to simplify, vote for the better of the
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: Burt worst, if that's what you want to call it.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: Vote for the most moral, Vote for.
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: Morality, Vote for decency, Vote for an image a brand
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: that you want people to look at your country and
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: say wow.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Use your brain, man, do something, think and get to
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: the polls.
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: And all y'all brothers and sisters out there talking about
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: we ain't going to vote. Let somebody give us something
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: for our vote. Go vote for your children, Go vote
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: so little black girls can look up in the White
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: House and go wild.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: She did that. I can do this too.
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: Vote for dignity. I don't know what else to say
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: to y'all. Go vote, Go to vote, dot vote, dot gov.
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: Get all of your records, make sure you are following
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: the rules. Do something, y'all. I'm so tired of this vote.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: Stop listening to people that's telling you not to vote.
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: Why would you not do that? Why would you not vote?
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: All right, y'all, y'all have a great day. Talk to God.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: He'd absolutely love to hear from you. I'm such a
