- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 2: on now, digny want of only Steve Harvey got what
- 2:14Speaker 2: radio show man? What you're doing with it? Trying to
- 2:18Speaker 2: do the very very best I can with it? I
- 2:20Speaker 2: really am. You know, I get tired sometimes on my journey.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm not gonna kid you. Trying to make something about
- 2:29Speaker 2: yourself is a task. If you want to attempt to
- 2:35Speaker 2: do something and and and understand going in that that
- 2:41Speaker 2: the if the thing you're trying to do is to
- 2:43Speaker 2: improve yourself, to better your position, to better your relationship,
- 2:49Speaker 2: your family, anything, you're trying to be a better you.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You're trying to make more money, you're trying to get
- 2:58Speaker 2: it together, you're trying to change if any of those
- 3:02Speaker 2: things are in your hopes and dreams. Know this right,
- 3:07Speaker 2: here you are about to face some challenges. But you
- 3:13Speaker 2: might as well go ahead anyway and face those challenges,
- 3:17Speaker 2: because if you don't, you have a whole other set
- 3:20Speaker 2: of challenges to face. You know. It's it's an amazing thing, man,
- 3:25Speaker 2: how people sit around and they watch other people strike
- 3:29Speaker 2: out to become successful. They sit in the stands watching
- 3:33Speaker 2: these people play out these games, and they and they
- 3:36Speaker 2: and they criticize, They boo, they laugh at their efforts
- 3:40Speaker 2: and everything, and they talk about the failse he missed
- 3:43Speaker 2: that game when he shop boy, he sunk, man, he
- 3:46Speaker 2: did this.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He ain't worth that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I hear people who sit and stands who criticize people
- 3:55Speaker 2: who are out there.
- 3:56Speaker 1: On the playing field. Now, when you're on.
- 3:59Speaker 2: The playing field, you have a set of challenges in
- 4:03Speaker 2: front of you.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You're going to be open to criticism. You're going to
- 4:07Speaker 1: be open to ridicule. You're going to be talked about
- 4:11Speaker 1: when you don't know the people who are talking about you. Now,
- 4:19Speaker 1: here's the upside to being the player on the field
- 4:23Speaker 1: that's facing all the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke,
- 4:27Speaker 1: to being talked about. He has something going for him.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This person, boy, woman, child, girl, man has an opportunity
- 4:40Speaker 1: to win.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They have an opportunity to win. And in the game
- 4:46Speaker 2: of life, just because you lose one of the games
- 4:51Speaker 2: or you lose one of the matches, it don't mean
- 4:55Speaker 2: you've lost. You don't get put out. You keep playing.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And when you're playing, here's the upside. You have the
- 5:04Speaker 2: opportunity to win. But guess what, You're gonna win some
- 5:07Speaker 2: of the matches. You're gonna win some of the points.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You're gonna make some of the dunks. You're gonna hit
- 5:11Speaker 2: some of them over the wall. You're gonna hit some
- 5:13Speaker 2: out the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will
- 5:18Speaker 2: if you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the
- 5:23Speaker 2: people who don't face criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:29Speaker 2: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:41Speaker 2: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:46Speaker 2: gonna live with myself? What I'm gonna do? Now, what
- 5:53Speaker 2: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Wonder what job will hire me? Wonder if I can
- 6:06Speaker 2: get paid for criticize? Ah, woe is me, I can't
- 6:13Speaker 2: find the purpose in my life. And man, I'm just
- 6:17Speaker 2: waking up in a state of confusion. I don't know
- 6:19Speaker 2: what to do. Now, let me ask you something, which
- 6:24Speaker 2: one of them set the challenges you'd rather be faced with?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Because if I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on
- 6:30Speaker 2: the field playing, if I'm out on the court playing,
- 6:34Speaker 2: then guess what I got a chance at winning? But
- 6:37Speaker 2: guess what I'm doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I'm waking up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying
- 6:44Speaker 2: to come up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of
- 6:49Speaker 2: a goal every single day, versus the people in the
- 6:55Speaker 2: stands who know neither victory nor defeat. Get in the game,
- 7:06Speaker 2: face the challenges. Better yourself, better your wife, better your children,
- 7:11Speaker 2: better your condition, better your employment status, better your job,
- 7:14Speaker 2: better your career. Take a shot. Come on, man, what
- 7:17Speaker 2: you waiting on? Because the alternative is to watch other
- 7:21Speaker 2: people play the game? You know what I just do?
- 7:25Speaker 2: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes magazine or Money magazine,
- 7:30Speaker 2: or sometimes I still grab a copy of the rob Report.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I just flip through it just to see get I
- 7:37Speaker 2: used to get these this book called Unique Homes. Unique
- 7:40Speaker 2: Homes is a magazine that just has a lot of
- 7:43Speaker 2: extravagant houses that's on sale across the country, across the world.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I used to flip through. Man, let me just see, man,
- 7:51Speaker 2: what the people that's playing the game out there doing.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:58Speaker 2: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:02Speaker 2: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:05Speaker 2: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:09Speaker 2: to accept the challenge.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I think it's for me. This is just for me.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It may not be the case for you.
- 8:16Speaker 2: For me, I think it's far more difficult to wake
- 8:18Speaker 2: up and just see how life gonna go today, because man,
- 8:21Speaker 2: it could just deal you any kind of hand today.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You understand, I don't like, you know, spades. Let's talk
- 8:31Speaker 2: a card game for a time, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 2: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:36Speaker 2: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:39Speaker 2: little strategies you're gonna do. But you can have all
- 8:42Speaker 2: this age, king, queen, diamond all you want. But man,
- 8:44Speaker 2: you ain't got no spades. They cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Be it with different game. You can create what's in
- 8:52Speaker 2: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:55Speaker 2: can create a hand. You can call a trump. You
- 8:58Speaker 2: can make diamonds your spades. You can make hard to
- 9:02Speaker 2: clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. You can do
- 9:05Speaker 2: something with it. It's a different game, man. You can strategize.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I would rather have a say so in my life
- 9:11Speaker 2: than to wake up every day and just see how
- 9:13Speaker 2: it's going. I think it's more difficult to not accept
- 9:16Speaker 2: the challenge to be something than it is to accept
- 9:19Speaker 2: the challenge to be something. I think it's more difficult
- 9:22Speaker 2: to sit around and not be nothing. I think it's
- 9:25Speaker 2: harder to watch everybody in life going somewhere but mine.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think it would be very difficult for me to
- 9:30Speaker 2: sit here and hear them talking about other people that
- 9:33Speaker 2: never mentioned my name. It would be difficult for me
- 9:36Speaker 2: to see everybody rise and getting promotions accept me. That
- 9:40Speaker 2: would be difficult for me. It may not be for you,
- 9:42Speaker 2: but for me it would be quite challenging. I would
- 9:45Speaker 2: rather accept the challenge of making something out of my
- 9:48Speaker 2: life than to sit there and criticize those and then
- 9:52Speaker 2: watch and see how my life just may go Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 2: just a thought.
- 9:56Speaker 8: Today you're listening morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. We are here. It is morning time.
- 10:05Speaker 2: It is the beginning of a new day. It's a
- 10:08Speaker 2: new opportunity, a great chance, a blessing to be here
- 10:12Speaker 2: yet alive again. I don't know about you, but I'm
- 10:16Speaker 2: so glad about that. Boy oh man, give it to
- 10:20Speaker 2: me God because I show appreciate it. This is a

- 12:03Speaker 2: to slow this ass whooping down.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Back then you could hit the eight year old boy,
- 12:09Speaker 3: hit him and you'll left you Well, I don't understand him.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Well, I'm too old to be out there jumping on
- 12:17Speaker 2: their kids grown.
- 12:20Speaker 9: But I'm saying, why if they want to jump on
- 12:22Speaker 9: Tommy though he is right there, because he was clever.
- 12:27Speaker 11: They hated clever kids.

- 13:04Speaker 2: Picking on usually occurs hold of jumping yes, in order
- 13:09Speaker 2: to it. Yeah, that's the lead off. They don't jump
- 13:13Speaker 2: on you then pick on you. They pick on you
- 13:15Speaker 2: and depend on how you're taking it. That turns into
- 13:17Speaker 2: a whoopie.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Okay, And I only got jumped on Jay after I
- 13:23Speaker 3: said some stuff he told me to say.

- 37:07Speaker 9: or have a quickie two times a week?
- 37:09Speaker 1: How many?
- 37:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:13Speaker 8: You're not a robot?
- 37:16Speaker 2: I do that one hour once a week? Yeah? Yeah,
- 37:18Speaker 2: put some pressure, you can do moves, you try things,
- 37:23Speaker 2: you know you you know you take a drink, you
- 37:26Speaker 2: know what I mean? Get some water here?
- 37:30Speaker 8: Hour for hours?
- 37:32Speaker 6: Week?
- 37:33Speaker 2: Two quirkies? Now? Hell, no, all right, we gotta go.
- 37:37Speaker 8: That's today's rounded. Would you rather doth.
- 37:40Speaker 3: In Alabama and everybody around the way. It's your boy nephew.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Tell me July fifteenth, the nephew is coming to town.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Did you hear what I said? Dothan, Alabama?
- 37:48Speaker 3: I said, July fifteenth, the nephew is coming to town.
- 37:52Speaker 3: I'm back, I'm stronger, I'm better, I gotta testimony.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Oh, I got a purpose and.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm still straight stupid.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Come on and get you laugh on baby, it's going
- 38:01Speaker 3: down July fifteenth.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Nope, that Alabama tickets are on sale right now.
- 38:06Speaker 8: You're listening morning show.
- 38:10Speaker 9: It is time now to check Steve's voicemail and if
- 38:12Speaker 9: you want to leave a message for Steve, call him
- 38:14Speaker 9: eight seven seven twenty nine Steve.
- 38:16Speaker 8: All right, Steve, this first caller has a spiritual question
- 38:20Speaker 8: for you.
- 38:20Speaker 18: Good evening, Steve. Thank you so much for sharing your
- 38:23Speaker 18: inspirational relationship with God with the world. My question is simple,
- 38:28Speaker 18: how does one stop longing for something that God has
- 38:31Speaker 18: obviously said no to that particular question? Thank you bye.
- 38:38Speaker 1: That's my question.
- 38:39Speaker 2: That's everybody's dilemma.
- 38:45Speaker 8: We want what we want.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that's everybody's delivering. And then also sometimes what you want, Jess,
- 38:53Speaker 2: is in the form of temptations. You know, it's not
- 38:57Speaker 2: always longing for something you ask God for and he
- 39:01Speaker 2: told you no. Sometimes God makes moves he know you
- 39:05Speaker 2: wouldn't make because he heard conversations you didn't hear, and
- 39:09Speaker 2: He made decisions that you just not gonna make for
- 39:12Speaker 2: the betterment of yourself. Example, I want this relationship to
- 39:17Speaker 2: work with this person. God know that ain't the one
- 39:21Speaker 2: you need, so sometimes he don't aid you in doing that.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Now you can run off and do it yourself, but
- 39:26Speaker 2: you're gonna get beat up. He not coming back. You
- 39:30Speaker 2: quit asking God for him to come back. He not
- 39:32Speaker 2: coming back. Now they got nothing to do with God.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The dude you want and made a decision that he
- 39:37Speaker 2: don't want you. Now, once you keep asking God for
- 39:41Speaker 2: him for instead, you should ask God for somebody that
- 39:45Speaker 2: want you. So sometimes and I had to learn this myself.
- 39:50Speaker 2: The thing that I'm asking God for that I keep
- 39:54Speaker 2: getting a know to is for a reason.
- 39:57Speaker 10: Yeah, And it's.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Usually been because God, I'd have something.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Better for me.
- 40:01Speaker 8: Better all the time.
- 40:02Speaker 2: But you got to open up yourself to the better
- 40:04Speaker 2: and stop thinking you got the answer. You can't ask
- 40:07Speaker 2: God to bless you and then tell him how to
- 40:09Speaker 2: do it. To do that's just does a man brother.
- 40:12Speaker 9: Uh huh, all right, you better preach up in here.
- 40:15Speaker 9: You met a minister, all right, this caller, all right.
- 40:20Speaker 9: Last week we had a colo question, Steve.
- 40:23Speaker 8: It was about the Uh. It was from the married
- 40:25Speaker 8: woman who had emailed us.
- 40:27Speaker 9: She asked us if she was wrong because she purchased
- 40:30Speaker 9: Raider season football tickets but changed them from her husband's
- 40:34Speaker 9: name to her name after he told her he preferred
- 40:36Speaker 9: attending the games with his boys instead of going with her.
- 40:40Speaker 8: So this caller has a comment about that.
- 40:43Speaker 9: Say, Steve, come lousing your radio show this morning, and
- 40:46Speaker 9: I agree with you.
- 40:48Speaker 15: My husband is one of the three brothers.
- 40:50Speaker 9: The brothers need to be to Gebo sometimes just a mend.
- 40:54Speaker 9: I'm okay with him hanging with his brothers. You don't
- 40:57Speaker 9: need me around all the time.
- 40:58Speaker 15: We didn't get it once they for.
- 40:59Speaker 8: Us even seven days a week.
- 41:01Speaker 12: Let that man have some men time.
- 41:03Speaker 15: If you don't, you wanna drive him crazy, and you're
- 41:06Speaker 15: gonna want to know why he ain't home, or you're
- 41:08Speaker 15: coming home and go straight to leave.
- 41:10Speaker 1: These woman needs to let her loose.
- 41:12Speaker 15: You want to hang with your girls, You hang with
- 41:14Speaker 15: your girls.
- 41:15Speaker 9: You don't ask to come.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I love it when my husband hang with his brother.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Let them men have that many time.
- 41:21Speaker 9: Y'all have a good day.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I didn't that because listen, everybody needs me time.
- 41:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Say, when I tell my wife I'm going on the
- 41:34Speaker 2: golf trip, she wanna be talking them cannot go? No,
- 41:38Speaker 2: she know I don't want her to go right now,
- 41:41Speaker 2: I want to go play golf, talk trash, get to
- 41:45Speaker 2: go eat without showering? Then I want to take a shower.
- 41:49Speaker 2: All these speeches you got, you've been playing golf. I'm
- 41:53Speaker 2: hungry now, I'm hungry now, I'm hungry now and now
- 41:59Speaker 2: here she she'd have walked in the room. I do
- 42:02Speaker 2: want to go where you ain't?
- 42:06Speaker 1: You ain't get out.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Of this studio, Mardrie. You're not going to play golf.
- 42:15Speaker 2: You are not going to play golf. No, you don't
- 42:19Speaker 2: want to go to not going. I want to talk.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I don't want to shower when you asked me to show,
- 42:29Speaker 2: so I want to heat. Now, Why don't you take
- 42:32Speaker 2: a shower first? You enjoy your food better? Who need
- 42:35Speaker 2: a shower to enjoy it?
- 42:40Speaker 8: Man?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Can we go to break?
- 42:43Speaker 8: Yeah? It's about that time?
- 42:49Speaker 9: Love all right?
- 42:49Speaker 5: All right?
- 42:50Speaker 9: Coming up next it is the nephew today's break phone call.
- 42:55Speaker 8: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening hard morning.

- 52:41Speaker 13: Check all right, ladies, Gentlemy's time for the Strawberry letter
- 52:44Speaker 13: with my good friend Shirley strawberiod.
- 52:47Speaker 9: Thank you my good friend Junior subjected my sugar daddy
- 52:50Speaker 9: set me up. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty four
- 52:53Speaker 9: year old woman grieving for the loss of my seventy
- 52:56Speaker 9: seven year old best friend and sugar daddy that had
- 53:00Speaker 9: been in my life since I was nineteen. He was
- 53:03Speaker 9: also my father's closest friend, so we kept our relationship
- 53:07Speaker 9: a secret for obvious reasons. When it all started, he
- 53:11Speaker 9: was married to a woman that I looked up to.
- 53:13Speaker 9: She was beautiful and classy, and he turned me into
- 53:17Speaker 9: her with all of the nice gifts and trips he
- 53:19Speaker 9: sponsored for me. We didn't have sex until I was
- 53:22Speaker 9: twenty three years old, and he never pressured me for sex.
- 53:26Speaker 9: He rented me an apartment and he'd come stay with
- 53:28Speaker 9: me for hours just to avoid the arguments with his wife.
- 53:32Speaker 9: We were happy for about seven years until he got
- 53:35Speaker 9: a divorce and he wanted to see me more because
- 53:39Speaker 9: he was bored and lonely. If I was busy and
- 53:42Speaker 9: couldn't make time for him, he would get an attitude
- 53:45Speaker 9: and threaten to cut me off. Instead of letting me go,
- 53:48Speaker 9: he bought me a three bedroom house and he helped
- 53:51Speaker 9: me get a luxury vehicle. By then, he didn't care
- 53:54Speaker 9: as much about us getting caught because he was divorced
- 53:58Speaker 9: and lived alone. I was still afraid of my father
- 54:01Speaker 9: finding out, so I was still living a stressful double life. Well,
- 54:06Speaker 9: my sugar daddy died two months ago, and that's when
- 54:10Speaker 9: all of our secrets were revealed. I got a call
- 54:13Speaker 9: from his ex wife and she said that my sugar
- 54:16Speaker 9: daddy left me a large sum of money, the deed
- 54:19Speaker 9: to my house and his two cars. His ex wife
- 54:23Speaker 9: called me a whore and said she would be calling
- 54:26Speaker 9: my father next. Before I could take all of this in,
- 54:30Speaker 9: my father called and said he heard the news. He
- 54:33Speaker 9: told me to have a nice life with the money
- 54:35Speaker 9: and gifts that I prostituted for.
- 54:38Speaker 8: I was crushed.
- 54:40Speaker 9: I've also been a daddy's girl and he won't speak always.
- 54:45Speaker 9: I'm sorry, I've always been a daddy's girl and he
- 54:47Speaker 9: won't speak to me. Well, my father ever loved me again.
- 54:51Speaker 8: What should I do?
- 54:53Speaker 9: Well, there's not really much you can do now it's
- 54:57Speaker 9: been done and.
- 54:58Speaker 8: Your sugar daddy is dead.
- 55:00Speaker 9: So you know, to the question will your father ever
- 55:04Speaker 9: love you again, I mean, he's not going to stop
- 55:06Speaker 9: loving you. He's mad right now. He's disappointed in you
- 55:10Speaker 9: terribly right now. So trying to talk to him and
- 55:13Speaker 9: all that is just going to have to wait until later.
- 55:15Speaker 9: Some time needs to pass, and he needs time, your
- 55:19Speaker 9: father does. I mean, this was his closest friend and
- 55:23Speaker 9: he found out in a crazy way from his friend's
- 55:26Speaker 9: ex wife, and I'm sure he was shocked he found
- 55:29Speaker 9: out that his friend.
- 55:31Speaker 8: Was sleeping with his young daughter.
- 55:33Speaker 9: He doesn't know that, you know, you guys didn't sleep
- 55:35Speaker 9: together till you were twenty three or whatever. He knows
- 55:38Speaker 9: that you've known him since nineteen. And your father's not
- 55:41Speaker 9: going to be good with this.
- 55:43Speaker 8: He's just not you know.
- 55:45Speaker 9: I'm sure it was embarrassing to hear it from his
- 55:47Speaker 9: ex wife, from his best friend's ex wife. Sure, all
- 55:50Speaker 9: that was embarrassing for your dad. And of course we
- 55:53Speaker 9: know why his ex wife is upset. I mean, she's
- 55:56Speaker 9: hating on you because a you were seeing him while
- 56:00Speaker 9: they were married. And the biggest one of all, the
- 56:04Speaker 9: sugar Daddy really did.
- 56:05Speaker 8: Set you up. He set you up in a good way.
- 56:08Speaker 9: I mean, you know, he probably left you way more
- 56:12Speaker 9: than he left his ex wife, even though they're exes
- 56:15Speaker 9: and she's mad about that. He left you some very
- 56:18Speaker 9: generous parting gifts, so you know, please be smart, don't
- 56:21Speaker 9: lose it all because you feel guilty for being with
- 56:23Speaker 9: him and all of that, but you know it is
- 56:27Speaker 9: what it is now and you can't take that back.
- 56:30Speaker 9: You need to concentrate on maybe trying to fix this
- 56:33Speaker 9: with your father. I say again, give it time, stay
- 56:36Speaker 9: out of his way until you can ask for his
- 56:38Speaker 9: forgiveness and you can.
- 56:39Speaker 8: Talk to your dad. That's all I got for you, Steve.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I don't really know what to say. It's kind of crazy.
- 56:51Speaker 2: You've been dealing with a man forty three year old
- 56:53Speaker 2: age difference, your daddy's best friend. He was married, seeing
- 57:00Speaker 2: it been in your life since she was nineteen, started
- 57:03Speaker 2: sleeping with him when he was twenty three. I mean,
- 57:06Speaker 2: I don't really know what to tell you. You know,
- 57:08Speaker 2: it's really nothing, you know, I mean, yeah, it's over,
- 57:16Speaker 2: it's water over the damn now. I really don't know
- 57:18Speaker 2: what to tell you, little little girl. I mean, hell,
- 57:23Speaker 2: so what you did it you knew it was wrong
- 57:26Speaker 2: when you was doing it, even when he was married.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Then when he got a divorce, he wanted more. You
- 57:31Speaker 2: didn't want to give him more. He wanted more time
- 57:34Speaker 2: and everything. He didn't. We cared about hiding it no more.
- 57:37Speaker 2: You know, he told you he was gonna cut you
- 57:38Speaker 2: off and all of it. You know, I just is
- 57:42Speaker 2: it enough money? Is it enough money to give a
- 57:47Speaker 2: daddy some I mean, I mean, if we got a
- 57:51Speaker 2: way to fix this, you know, can we you know,
- 57:54Speaker 2: get your daddy in a new truck out of it
- 57:56Speaker 2: or something? You know, you know, you know you can
- 57:59Speaker 2: heal people if they find a way. You know, I
- 58:02Speaker 2: don't know what to tell you. You know it, you
- 58:04Speaker 2: know now the whole thing is the reason your daddy
- 58:07Speaker 2: so upset is caused the call he got from uh
- 58:11Speaker 2: the ex wife. Guess what your damn daughtery did sleeping
- 58:16Speaker 2: with uh Cleafans while he was living in that got
- 58:21Speaker 2: Cleafans's car, cleafanss got Cleafanser's car, got got got the
- 58:27Speaker 2: d the Cleafand's house. That left him half of the money.
- 58:35Speaker 2: You know, it's a it's a wonder why me and
- 58:37Speaker 2: Cleafans didn't make it.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Serious. All this cause a kesha that that's what happens.
- 58:46Speaker 2: So I really don't know. I don't know how I'm
- 58:49Speaker 2: gonna help you. I'm gonna come back and we'll see,
- 58:51Speaker 2: But I'm really kind of stuck. Maybe I should come
- 58:56Speaker 2: back with a list of things you could do to
- 58:58Speaker 2: try to like buy his affection back.
- 59:01Speaker 8: All right, hang on, Steve, we'll know what to really
- 59:04Speaker 8: fix it. We'll have part two of your.
- 59:06Speaker 9: Response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:09Speaker 9: My Sugar Daddy set Me Up is the subject. We'll
- 59:11Speaker 9: be back right after this.
- 59:13Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 59:16Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's let's get back into
- 59:20Speaker 9: the Strawberry letter.
- 59:21Speaker 8: We got to recap it. My sugar Daddy set me
- 59:24Speaker 8: Up is the subject.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Who, Yeah, this girl was sleeping with her father's best friend.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Been in his life since she was nineteen. He recently died.
- 59:33Speaker 2: He's seventy seven years old. She been in this man's life.
- 59:37Speaker 2: He's forty three years older than her, and she started
- 59:40Speaker 2: sleeping with the man when she was twenty three. And
- 59:43Speaker 2: she had a beautiful wife that she looked up to.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Class and everything, sent on trips and everything and then
- 59:49Speaker 2: his wife and him got divorced, and he turned this
- 59:52Speaker 2: young girl into his wife, set up, sent her on trips,
- 59:56Speaker 2: sponsored everything, got apartment that did work, luxury vehicle, then
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: bart of the house, all this here will he died.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I killed over all this extra sex just wore and
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: took him out, just took a toll on him. You know,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: the wife, the little girl, the wife, the little girl,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: little girl probably killed him though, you know that's the
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: one that probably killed him. Said you need to be
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: grieving for a couple of reasons, because you probably killed
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: his old as and then you know, and so now
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: you know you just did get you dealing with the
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: fact that he left. And when the wheel got rid,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the ex wife was there and found out that he'd
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: have left you the house, the car, some of the
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: money and set you up for real good. Oh now
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: she may so, she gonna tell your daddy, I would
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: have got more, but your little prostituting ass daughter that
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: set up here and prostituted herself to my ex husband, Cliffords,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: who were your friend. And I bet all y'all knew
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: it all along, and he didn't. So now your daddy
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: mad at you. You want your daddy back because you've
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: been a daddy's girl. So what I've come up with this, Dad,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: maybe you're gonna have to buy it by your way
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: out this situation. My question was simply before we left,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: is there enough money to give your daddy song? So
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: let's try to.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Think of stuff that old men need. Do he need
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: some teeth? Could that be it?
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: You know sometimes old people be holding off on teeth.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: You know how your daddy's gum line looking at everything
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: all right? You know, do look like he needs some
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: ever clear or anything off the placement or some dentures?
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: You know, Hey, all old men need a new transmission.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Let's look into that. You know, can you can you
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: get his transmission down that Amaco, you know, get it
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: down there and see what kind of deals they got
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: fixus transmitted. Yeah. Yeah, here's here's a big one.
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: For old men.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Is that some part of the body that he needs removed?
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: You know they always you know, they put that off.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: You know, get your garb ladder took out. Old people
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: put that off, you know, find out as their body
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: part that he might need to move, you know, to
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: see it.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: You can get through to it in that way.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: You've got to do something to get your gaddy back
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: in your good graces. You know, do he need a
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: flat screen? You know, here's another thing. Maybe he got
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: different ties on his car. Do he wore all new
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: tires that match, because a lot of old people don't
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: have ties. That's a complete set. You got radios on
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: the front, you got tread on the back, you got
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: a chain link on one them. You gotta left. Hey,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: you know, maybe he need maybe he needs something. Maybe
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: he need a body part. Do he need a foot
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: removing it?
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Just?
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: Do he need one?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Do your daddy need a refrigerator in his room? You
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: got to find Oh yeah, do he need a nurse's aid?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Do you need somebody to come home and push him? Yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: push him down to the stove.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: You know me old man like to get pushed down
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: to the liquor store because they get to see the
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: liquor from their chair. So dif you get because most
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: you know, a lot of that good stuff is our level.

- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Canadian wins all that stuff down.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: On the bottom rope. You know, you know you really
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: thought about this.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Sweaters. You know, maybe you can't have enough sweaters. You know,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: your daddy probably always wanted one of them cooochiees. Yeah,
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: he probably always wanted you find.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: One of them.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: And hook him up with a coochie. You know, it's
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: just some stuff you know y'all always wanted. You know,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: you got to think about that. You know, Hey, do
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: he need a new Hey? Hey, get him an ivory checkerboard.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Bet ain't nobody got that down there at the gas station.

- 1:08:34Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: You guys already know, but sometimes honesty isn't the best policy.
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: Here's a situation or question that we found on Facebook,
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: and this one is from Jerry Jerry says, when my
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: wife comes home from getting her hair done and colored,
- 1:08:52Speaker 9: it doesn't look great, but I always.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: Tell her it does.
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: Always Okay, any married man should know this, no matter what,
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: tell her she looks beautiful.
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: So when do you feel like honesty isn't the best
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: policy all the time?
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Not all the time? That way, I've been on how
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: this look on me?
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Just lie man, Just lie?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Yeah, junior, I've been on the old.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: What you say, because I've been on the old Yeah, yourself.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: I'm trying to save myself from what I already know.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: If I tell the truth, what's gonna happen? So why
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: not try this? Yet?
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: You put your hand on the Bible and still lie.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: That's not a real Bible. Ship, And the people that's

- 1:10:07Speaker 2: then hold me to that?
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Have you lied sre in a relationship?
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Yeah?

- 1:10:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well, she out of town right now, so I'm
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: anticipating soon. Well I'm anticipating as soon as she called.
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: But why do you guys lie when the truth will
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: be just fine? I don't get that.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Don't say that.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: No, you know, yes, of the time, the truth is
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: not fine.
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: Okay, what is she gonna ask you that you have
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: to lie about this?
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what asked me something.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Let's let's just practice.
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: Let's go on, honey, is it raining there?
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: About to seem like?
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Why you ask me to rain? Because see now I
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: got to is it raining there? Because now what I
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: got to see in you may no? Go ahead? She'll
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: ask me much?

- 1:11:49Speaker 9: I ain't got no breaks, no breaks because I was
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: thinking about coming down and maybe we could have lunch together.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: No, we ain't have a lunch today because we got
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: we got cases. Is backed up for COVID.
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: What what did you wear to work today? Did Ellie?
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: Did Ellie pick something out for you to wear?
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: No, just put on something myself, just got on sweatsuit,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: that's all. Well.
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: I saw you posted something and it had Ellie's name
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: under it.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I was a picture from last week. You know,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I don't post not no damn way, so I picture
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: just from last week.
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: Well, have you been on Instagram lately? Instagram social media?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: Have you been on Instagram lately?
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: When did they When did they start that?
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: What did you have to lie?
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: You know?
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Just that that just gets black ass. If you don't.
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: Ryteve, what are you lying about Instagram?

- 1:13:27Speaker 15: Guys?
- 1:13:27Speaker 8: Uh, before we left for break, we were talking about lying.
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: Isn't any good time to lie? But you guys lie regardless,
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: it doesn't matter.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'll tell you why I lie regardless?
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Why Because if you tell a woman the truth, yeah,
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: they're gonna expect it all the time.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: And then man your expectations.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and then what happens when I do tell the
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: truth and then she don't believe me? And I picked
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: those moments where I will tell you the truth, but
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: they're very few. And then when you when you assume
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: that's a lie, then I jump out and proved that
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: it was a truth. And then I'm good for another year.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: See it? Damn, every time I tell you something, you
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: think I'm lying, then I tell you the truth. Now
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: look at this right here. Yeah, damn baby, Yeah, Now
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: that allows me to lie for another year.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Love it. You see what I'm saying. So you see that, Shirley,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: that's how that works.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: I see it.
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: But you know whatever, with that, all those life keeps
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: us together.
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Ain't you still with your husband after all these years?
- 1:14:45Speaker 19: Yes?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Thank the Lord? He been lying? Yes.
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: So so then you're saying, all men lie, that's what
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: you're saying. I'm saying what you're saying, all men lie?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:01Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll

- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Come on, come on, we ain't finna go to this

- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Mind blink fast? Anyway?
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: Mine blinking immediately when I'm arrived. You think I'm trying
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: to give you a signal?
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: What about you, junior?
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm gonna go with Blake real fast. I don't
- 1:17:12Speaker 10: want to be breeding.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I can't.
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: It's hard to get rid of my coat.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: Steve.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I'm just going to take the red face.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be.

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: You don't think I got your rick?
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: Tell me all right?
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: Would you rather make love for hours? Make love for
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: hours once a week or a quickie twice a week?
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: Make love for hours just once a week, or have
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: a quickie two times a week?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: How many enough?
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: You're not a robot.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: I do that one hour once a week. Yeah, some pressure,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: you do, moves, you try things.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: You know you you know, you take a drink, you
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: know what I mean? Get some water here.

- 1:18:08Speaker 2: Two quirkies? Now?
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: Hell, all right, we gotta go. That's today's round. I
- 1:18:13Speaker 9: would you rather coming up next? At forty nine minutes after?
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: It's our last break of the day, and we'll have
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: right after that.
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: It is the last break of the day.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: It's the last break of the day.
- 1:18:32Speaker 8: Love it, and I know you want to leave us
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: with some closing remarks Steve.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: You know, last night when I finished up Family Feud,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: I was talking to the audience and we were talking
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: about hanging in there, and one of the audience members
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: was saying that they feel underqualified because they work around
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: and live around a lot of people with education, and
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: education is important to a lot of people and in
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: a lot of fields. And please know, education is really
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: really great to have. I'm not knocking it in any
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: shape form of fashion, so please don't misunderstand me. But
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: I was asking this person were they good at school
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: and they said no, never have been in it. Ask
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: them what they want to be in life? Do you
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: have to go to school? They said not really, And
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: so that kind of troubled me a little bit because
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: I was ended up talking to a person who was
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: trying to shape who they really wanted to be and
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: who they saw themselves becoming, but were trying to shape
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: it in the image of other external people on the
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: outside and around him. And I began to talk to
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: this guy and I tried to enlighten him to some things.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: You know, education is important and you should get as
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: much as you can, but you can become successful without
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: an education. Now, understand something. If you want to be
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: a doctor, dentist, lawyer, you know you want to work
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: in certain branches and the fields. Of course, you can't
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: be a teacher without an education, can't be a professor
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: without one, can't be a lawyer, doctor, dentists, scientists. There
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: are things that require an education. But if your imagination
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: has you somewhere else, stop letting other people try to
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: put you in the box that they came out of.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: There are some people that no matter how you talk to.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Them, if you don't do it, they wig, then you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: ain't doing it the right way.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: I cannot even began to tell you how many people
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: have tried to talk me off of the path I
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: was on when clearly God had put me on another path.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I tried to go to college.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I've never been a great student.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Once again, understand me, now, I'm not knocking education, because
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: I tell people all the time I admire people who
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: climb the corporate letter through education, who climbed the educational field.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: That is amazing to me, because that's not a skill
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: set I have. But I can't tell you how many
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: people have tried to talk me off my path. Do
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: you know one time a lady once told me at
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: a major institution that if you want to rep this institution,
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: you're going to have to go.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Back to college. And I said, go back to college
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: for what?
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: And they said, because it would make a better statement
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: if you were a college graduate yourself. And I wasn't
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: being arrogant or anything, but I was looking at this
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: lady trying to figure out what better statement could I
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: make than crawling out of homelessness, putting my faith in
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: trust in God and asking God to rescue me from
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: all the misque I may watch him do it climb
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: as well. Now I may not be up there where
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: you think I ought to be, and I may not
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: talk to where you think all to talk, But the
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: God I served delivered me from so many mistakes I
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: had made, college being one of them. What better testament?
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: What better story can I tell? Don't let people put
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: you in the box just because that's the box that
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: they jumped out of. That ain't your box.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: That ain't your route, that ain't your journey, that ain't
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: your ticket.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: You have got to put your faith in God and
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: understand that all of us are on a different journey
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: in life. Ain't nobody traveling the exact same path, in
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: the exact same footsteps as nobody.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I have admired so many people in this world.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: I have tried to pattern myself after certain people in
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: this world, But no matter how hard I try, I
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: have found no one who has taken the exact same
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: footsteps as me. And that don't make them better than me,
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: less than me. It just ain't no two people taking
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: the exact same footsteps. Look. I admired Richard Pryor. I
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: admired Muhammad Ali. I admired Martin Luther King. I admired
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: Michael Jordan, I admired Gandhi. I admired Mother Teresa. I
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: admire Bishop td Jakes, I admire Bishop Geddy's, I admire
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Joe Oldstein. I admire Bishop Kenneth Omer. I admired Donnie
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Kirk Kirkley. I admire a lot of people, but they
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: footsteps sain't mine, not the exact footsteps. I can learn
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: from something they've all taught me. I can learn from
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: some things I've watched them do. But at the end
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: of the day, this is your journey. Your journey is
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: as unique as your fingerprint. And that's how special God
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: made each and every one of us, because we all
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: got a different fingerprint. It's billions, over seven billion people
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: in this world. Ain't no two people got the same fingerprint.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: So how the tour you gonna take the same steps?
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: You better, you better listen to this. It ain't your journey,
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: It ain't your path. Get on your path, Get on
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: your journey, get on your faith, get on your knees,
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: and accomplish your job, your dreams, make your dreams come true.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Follow your heart, follow your goals, follow your imagination. God
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: is good and he can get you there. And nowhere
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: does it say a man without an education shall fail.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: It says a man without a dream or vision shall parish.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: Dust them off, handle your business. Those are my clothesing remarks,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: y'all have greatly and them from the pottom of my house.
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: For all.
