- 1:41Speaker 5: To turn the mouth, turn the probably, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 5: the mouth out to turn awa the mony UPO me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out, you're thinking.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Huh I sure, well, good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 6: the voice. Come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:09Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I have something and
- 2:13Speaker 6: it so describes how I was living. It so captures
- 2:19Speaker 6: the feelings that I had about beginning on the pathway
- 2:24Speaker 6: of my dreams. It so describes how I felt when
- 2:30Speaker 6: I was about to attempt something. And I have some
- 2:33Speaker 6: striking news for you. It describes often how I feel
- 2:37Speaker 6: still today to a degree. So let me tell you
- 2:41Speaker 6: what that is. Here's an analogy that I've heard a
- 2:46Speaker 6: couple of different ways, but I've kind of, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 6: fixed it around to where I can drink it better,
- 2:52Speaker 6: and I think it fits my personality to describe it
- 2:56Speaker 6: to people best this way. I've talked often about the
- 2:59Speaker 6: earthency of doing something with your life, of getting started
- 3:05Speaker 6: today of stopping the procrastination and putting it off, and
- 3:10Speaker 6: waiting on all your ducks to line up in a row,
- 3:12Speaker 6: and waiting until the stars aligned themselves. If you're waiting
- 3:16Speaker 6: on such a thing, you're never gonna get started. I
- 3:19Speaker 6: don't know too many people who can say that all
- 3:22Speaker 6: the ducks just lined up in the row.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Things happen. Even when you get them lined up.
- 3:27Speaker 6: One of the ducks get out of line, or somebody
- 3:29Speaker 6: knock over the domino.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Something happens. But here's the point I'm getting at.
- 3:35Speaker 6: God has so many blessings available to you.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You who's listening.
- 3:45Speaker 6: God has so many blessings available to you from where
- 3:50Speaker 6: you are right now. I don't care what you've gotten
- 3:54Speaker 6: yourself into or what you've done. God has so many
- 3:59Speaker 6: blessings that he can send your way.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But you have to do something.
- 4:06Speaker 6: See a lot of people just sit around and go man,
- 4:09Speaker 6: I don't know. And something always happening to you. You're
- 4:12Speaker 6: always getting a break, You're always doing this. You always
- 4:14Speaker 6: doing man, do nothing come my way. Listen to me.
- 4:18Speaker 6: If nothing ever comes your way. You know why that is,
- 4:20Speaker 6: it's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're
- 4:24Speaker 6: not here's a deal. God has all these blessings he
- 4:28Speaker 6: wants to send you, but you got to give him
- 4:30Speaker 6: something to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:35Speaker 6: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:38Speaker 6: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:42Speaker 6: He can set the ducks up in the row. But
- 4:45Speaker 6: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 6: hearts and set the ducks.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Up in the row.
- 4:50Speaker 6: For what have you put forth any effort? Have you
- 4:54Speaker 6: made a single step in any direction to do the
- 4:57Speaker 6: right thing or go the right way? That g give
- 5:00Speaker 6: him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:04Speaker 6: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:09Speaker 6: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Let him work with that. You know, man, I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 6: always start with these speeches.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You hear in the morning.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Now.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 6: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 6: to these. Here, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 6: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 6: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:33Speaker 6: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:36Speaker 6: failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 6: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:43Speaker 6: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 6: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 6: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 6: any effort, you can get blessed from wherever you are
- 5:54Speaker 6: in your life, wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 6: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from there.
- 6:01Speaker 6: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 6: done it. I got over man, I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 6: along the way. Because here's the deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 6: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 6: through with you yet.
- 6:13Speaker 1: When he's done, you're done.
- 6:15Speaker 6: But if God still has a plan for you you
- 6:17Speaker 6: wake up in the morning, he still got some more
- 6:20Speaker 6: work for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 6: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 6: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 6: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 6: walk towards him a little bit.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Here's the deal.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I know it's hard for the average person to start
- 6:37Speaker 6: because the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if
- 6:41Speaker 6: I fail, What if I don't get picked. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 6: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 6: in to quit my job.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Oh man, let me tell you about that day when
- 6:50Speaker 1: I decided that I.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Was gonna be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:54Speaker 6: amateur night one time, quitting your job following going for
- 7:02Speaker 6: it despite all the nay says, it's like stepping off
- 7:05Speaker 6: a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the edge
- 7:09Speaker 6: of a cliff, hoping, hoping.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now not really knowing, but hoping.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I stepped off
- 7:23Speaker 6: that cliff hoping that my parachute would open and allow
- 7:29Speaker 6: me to drift down.
- 7:31Speaker 1: See.
- 7:32Speaker 6: I've never scott dived before, but I would imagine part
- 7:35Speaker 6: of the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm
- 7:37Speaker 6: not going to scot Dive to find out. I think
- 7:41Speaker 6: part of the thrill for people is the danger part
- 7:44Speaker 6: of throwing yourself out a plane and how it feels
- 7:47Speaker 6: to be free falling, but the whole time they're free falling,
- 7:51Speaker 6: having this exhilarating, over the top moment.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You have got to.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Believe, in your heart of hearts, you have got the
- 8:00Speaker 6: hope with everything in you that when you pull this cord,
- 8:03Speaker 6: the shoot opens or else.
- 8:05Speaker 1: This ain't a good move at all.
- 8:07Speaker 6: But you've packed your shoot yourself, You've taken the lessons,
- 8:11Speaker 6: so you go ahead and you make the leap. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 6: the only thing about quitting your job and following your
- 8:16Speaker 6: dream is you ain't really been trained all that good
- 8:19Speaker 6: for this. You done packed your shoot, but you ain't
- 8:22Speaker 6: never opened it before. So I walked off this cliff,
- 8:25Speaker 6: That's what it was like. And you following your dreamers
- 8:27Speaker 6: like you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where
- 8:30Speaker 6: people don't never make the jump. They see somebody like
- 8:34Speaker 6: myself who jumped off the cliff and the past chute
- 8:37Speaker 6: don't open right away, and I hit a couple of
- 8:40Speaker 6: rocks on the way down.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I got my back cut up pretty bad.
- 8:44Speaker 6: They see that three years living in a car, man,
- 8:48Speaker 6: he got it life toe down jumping off that cliff.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I ain't jumping off that cliff.
- 8:52Speaker 6: But see what you don't understand is you don't know it,
- 8:56Speaker 6: but eventually the shoot will open. I'm at the parachute
- 9:01Speaker 6: opening part of my life. Man were to SHOOTE then
- 9:04Speaker 6: open and I'm drifting and I'm able to guide my
- 9:08Speaker 6: chute over to Paris and glide. I've glided over the
- 9:11Speaker 6: African and seen what it looked like. It's a slow
- 9:13Speaker 6: ride down. When the pass chute finally opened or and
- 9:17Speaker 6: my back didn't heel too and the cuts.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That I had on me, I remember now. I know
- 9:22Speaker 1: how to stay away from the edge.
- 9:24Speaker 6: But the Paris chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 6: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 6: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 6: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:35Speaker 6: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:38Speaker 6: my dream. Your parachute is going to open, but I'll
- 9:41Speaker 6: tell you one thing for show. It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 6: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:46Speaker 6: off that cliff. God to get the pasachute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 6: But you got to jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 6: ain't it now? Question is the end of this story
- 9:54Speaker 6: right here today?
- 9:55Speaker 8: When you jumping, you're listening hard Morning Show.
- 10:01Speaker 9: Wake Up, Wake up, Friday, Shine. Sit on the edge
- 10:03Speaker 9: of the bed, thank the man. And then you got
- 10:05Speaker 9: to get out and get something. It eels a new day.
- 10:09Speaker 9: It eels Friday. Nothing like Friday. There ain't nothing like Friday.
- 10:15Speaker 9: I like Friday. But you know sometime Friday, it'd be
- 10:19Speaker 9: too close to Monday. And really, I really wished the
- 10:22Speaker 9: weekend started on Thursday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunner. I don't
- 10:26Speaker 9: know who thought we should all work Fridays a week.
- 10:28Speaker 9: I think we should do four that's just me though,
- 10:30Speaker 9: that's just Tommy. Welcome to the ride. Uncle Stevens out today.
- 10:33Speaker 9: But me and the crew would be holding it down.
- 10:36Speaker 9: That means me, That means sure. The Strawberry call affair
- 10:38Speaker 9: on Mississippi Monica and Kia le Juan Junior boy Space.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I stretched the thing out top of them on what
- 10:46Speaker 2: to do, what to do?
- 10:47Speaker 10: Good morning, it's Friday.
- 10:50Speaker 11: Off. I like it.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I like that. Four three man, that's four three. That's
- 10:54Speaker 2: the beast right then? Wh got going?
- 10:57Speaker 10: I'm not mad, don't call it.
- 11:01Speaker 9: If they if they let me just control something, if
- 11:05Speaker 9: they let me make sure they just make the seisions.
- 11:09Speaker 9: If I could just I would have y'all lives perfect,
- 11:13Speaker 9: I swell, would I would have just living living your
- 11:16Speaker 9: best life?
- 11:16Speaker 10: What?
- 11:17Speaker 2: What?
- 11:17Speaker 11: What? What?
- 11:18Speaker 12: What?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yes?
- 11:20Speaker 10: Okay?

- 14:49Speaker 11: All right. Now let's talk about money, because that's always
- 14:52Speaker 11: the most crucial thing to talk about. Now you guys,
- 14:54Speaker 11: sounds good. Uh, you guys are supposed to be What
- 14:57Speaker 11: about what thirty five hundred for? When I I understand? Correct?

- 15:36Speaker 14: Thousand dollars, sounds good to me. We could definitely work
- 15:40Speaker 14: with that.
- 15:41Speaker 11: You can work with that.
- 15:42Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, well we'll accommodate. It's gonna be an awesome party.
- 15:46Speaker 11: We're gonna we're gonna bring fit. Okay, all right, we
- 15:49Speaker 11: got that out of way. I'll tell you what I think.
- 15:52Speaker 11: The main thing that we haven't gone over is we
- 15:54Speaker 11: haven't gone over the songs. And that's what's that's what's
- 15:58Speaker 11: gonna be important for this showdown. Now you you can
- 16:01Speaker 11: you got a pen and a pant, you can write
- 16:03Speaker 11: this down?
- 16:04Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I write it down, all right, down,

- 16:17Speaker 11: people that want certain uh songs that I ride a wrong.
- 16:22Speaker 14: Yeah, usually yeah, if you got a quest, definitely let
- 16:25Speaker 14: us know we can commodate.
- 16:27Speaker 11: All right, all right, well well here we go, uh,
- 16:30Speaker 11: here we go. I want you to write this down.
- 16:32Speaker 11: I got I got some that we gotta make sure

- 16:43Speaker 11: can't a scene whiskey, that's Chris Stapleton, you know that. Okay,
- 16:48Speaker 11: not time to part, that's Jason all things.
- 16:52Speaker 14: Hold off for a second. Is that country music?
- 16:55Speaker 11: That's well, that's that's that's that's that's everything we gonna
- 16:58Speaker 11: do every time you go do that?
- 17:01Speaker 14: Said, yeah, bro, I gotta tell you right now man,
- 17:05Speaker 14: R and B that's our specialty. Did you not know
- 17:08Speaker 14: that you know what I'm saying when we play an
- 17:10Speaker 14: R and B.
- 17:11Speaker 11: He did not know that. All I know is you
- 17:15Speaker 11: guys come highly recommend they tell me. You guys can
- 17:18Speaker 11: say anything in the world. All I know is I
- 17:22Speaker 11: won't get gun country. I want some gun cruntry music
- 17:25Speaker 11: going on.
- 17:25Speaker 14: Right, I know that. But you know our specialty is
- 17:29Speaker 14: an R and B. That's our specialty. You know what
- 17:31Speaker 14: I'm saying. It's not like we're trained monkeys where we
- 17:33Speaker 14: could just learn something new last mint like that.
- 17:36Speaker 11: You know what I'm saying, Let's let's get let's get one.
- 17:40Speaker 11: Let's get one thing. Understand you're the person that's said monkey,
- 17:45Speaker 11: ain't yo know?
- 17:47Speaker 14: I'm just no, and you know that we're an R
- 17:52Speaker 14: and B band. That's our big thing. That's what we
- 17:54Speaker 14: promote ourselves at.
- 17:56Speaker 11: Let me ask you something something do you not? Do
- 18:01Speaker 11: you not want to make the five thounsand knowledge that
- 18:05Speaker 11: you and I have already negotiated.
- 18:07Speaker 14: I don't like being disrespected though. You know what I'm saying.
- 18:10Speaker 11: No, No, nobody's disrespecting you. And you're just like we're
- 18:14Speaker 11: R and B bad. We don't see the country.
- 18:16Speaker 14: You know what I'm saying.
- 18:17Speaker 11: Hang on here, Richie, you got something his country music.
- 18:21Speaker 14: I have no problem with country music. It's just that

- 52:30Speaker 2: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 52:32Speaker 7: Thank you nephew. Subject a small bottle of prosecco and
- 52:36Speaker 7: a straw. Dear Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and I have
- 52:40Speaker 7: been dating for nine months. He lives with his mom
- 52:43Speaker 7: temporarily and his ex girlfriend, Nisi lives with them because
- 52:47Speaker 7: her house burned down. His mom was the one that
- 52:50Speaker 7: told me that he and Nissi used to date. After
- 52:53Speaker 7: he tried to downplay their relationship, my boyfriend said that
- 52:57Speaker 7: Nissi is his past and I'm his present and future,
- 53:00Speaker 7: and to prove that he isn't interested in her, he
- 53:03Speaker 7: started staying with me. Nisi called him on Sunday and
- 53:06Speaker 7: told him to come home immediately, so he went. He
- 53:09Speaker 7: was gone for hours, and I kept on calling to
- 53:12Speaker 7: make sure everything was okay. He never answered me, so
- 53:16Speaker 7: I went by his mom's house to check on him.
- 53:19Speaker 7: I knocked and rang the doorbell, and then Nissi eventually
- 53:23Speaker 7: came to the door. She told me that my boyfriend
- 53:26Speaker 7: was in his room. It was dark in his room
- 53:28Speaker 7: and there was a movie playing. I went to the
- 53:31Speaker 7: other side of his bed to sit next to him,
- 53:33Speaker 7: and there was a small bottle of prosecco next to
- 53:35Speaker 7: the bed, and it was still cold and had a
- 53:38Speaker 7: straw in it. The first thing I asked was whose
- 53:41Speaker 7: drink it was, so I could see if he was
- 53:44Speaker 7: going to lie. He said he had planned to drink
- 53:47Speaker 7: it earlier that day, but he changed his mind. He
- 53:50Speaker 7: was busted and alie because the bottle was still cold
- 53:53Speaker 7: and sweating. He kept acting like he was too tired
- 53:57Speaker 7: to talk, so I said I was going to let
- 53:59Speaker 7: him a niece, get back to whatever they were, whatever
- 54:03Speaker 7: they were doing together. He started yelling at me, so
- 54:06Speaker 7: I left. Monday, he called and said he was very
- 54:10Speaker 7: sorry and he knows how things must have looked. He
- 54:13Speaker 7: said he wants me, not her, and he wants me
- 54:16Speaker 7: to stop accusing him of messing with her.
- 54:18Speaker 8: What else could it be? Is he telling the truth
- 54:21Speaker 8: or playing me for a fool? Well, come on, now,
- 54:23Speaker 8: you know what it is.
- 54:25Speaker 11: This is what it is.
- 54:26Speaker 7: You are right to think he's with Nissi because he is.
- 54:31Speaker 7: Why else would he be over there? I mean, this
- 54:33Speaker 7: is a classic case of having your cake and eating
- 54:36Speaker 7: it too. The first thing you need to do is
- 54:38Speaker 7: get this man out of your house. I mean, you
- 54:40Speaker 7: said he's living with you, okay, so you need to
- 54:43Speaker 7: get him out because he doesn't even deserve to be there.
- 54:45Speaker 7: He needs to be back at his mama's house where
- 54:48Speaker 7: he is him and Nissi. Okay, he can no longer,
- 54:51Speaker 7: stay overnight, and all of that, the prosecco next to
- 54:57Speaker 7: the bed.
- 54:58Speaker 8: He went out. You call him several times, he stayed
- 55:01Speaker 8: for hours.
- 55:04Speaker 7: He was yelling at you because he knew he was
- 55:06Speaker 7: busted at that moment, and he was trying to make
- 55:08Speaker 7: you think you were crazy to be questioning him. I said,
- 55:11Speaker 7: go back to your own house like you started to do,
- 55:14Speaker 7: and pack up his stuff and have it waiting there
- 55:16Speaker 7: on the front porch when he gets there.
- 55:18Speaker 8: Go back to mama and NISSI. Okay, Tommy, what you got?
- 55:22Speaker 2: What do you see?
- 55:24Speaker 9: I see everything. I just I don't understand why she
- 55:26Speaker 9: don't see nothing. That's my problem. Just it's signs everywhere.
- 55:30Speaker 9: You don't see nothing.
- 55:31Speaker 2: So nine much.
- 55:32Speaker 9: You've been dating this man, all right. He'd used to
- 55:36Speaker 9: live with his mama, and his mama lived with his
- 55:38Speaker 9: mama lived with his.
- 55:39Speaker 21: With his X.
- 55:41Speaker 9: So here's my thing. You went to the house. There's
- 55:43Speaker 9: some keywords in here. You went to the house, and
- 55:46Speaker 9: what did you say? Eventually? MEISSI answered the dope. That
- 55:52Speaker 9: means it took a minute. Don't eventually means somebody finally
- 55:57Speaker 9: came around and answered the dope. Now, let's get what
- 56:00Speaker 9: when you walked in this room though you didn't, you didn't.
- 56:03Speaker 9: It wasn't it wasn't in there as I mean, I mean,
- 56:06Speaker 9: come on now, he laying there, half way in, halfway
- 56:09Speaker 9: out of it.
- 56:10Speaker 2: It ain't in You don't. You don't sense what then
- 56:12Speaker 2: took place in this room.
- 56:14Speaker 4: You don't see that.
- 56:16Speaker 2: You don't see that.
- 56:17Speaker 11: You don't.
- 56:18Speaker 2: You don't people know when they walk in the room.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I know what's been going on in here. I don't.
- 56:23Speaker 9: I don't get it. I don't get by. You don't
- 56:25Speaker 9: know that, you don't feel that. That's bothering me. So
- 56:28Speaker 9: now you're gonna go sit on the edge of the
- 56:30Speaker 9: bed next to him, and why you ain't pull these
- 56:34Speaker 9: covers backs? That would have showed you everything that's going
- 56:37Speaker 9: on in him. If you pull these copas back, you
- 56:39Speaker 9: will be able to understand everything that's happening.
- 56:42Speaker 11: Now.
- 56:43Speaker 9: Now, let's also keep moving too. This was Sunday, you
- 56:47Speaker 9: say he called you Monday, so he didn't stayed on
- 56:51Speaker 9: over that when you left, he stayed there. If you
- 56:55Speaker 9: meant anything to him, wouldn't he have actually come back
- 56:58Speaker 9: or tried to leave with you?
- 56:59Speaker 2: Baby?
- 56:59Speaker 9: Let me try to make you understand. Ain't nothing going
- 57:01Speaker 9: on with the more. Now he didn't lay down, and
- 57:04Speaker 9: guess what when you left, he finished his prosecco with
- 57:08Speaker 9: the straw. Any baby, trust me on this. Okay, I
- 57:12Speaker 9: already know how this goes. I'm watching this and now
- 57:15Speaker 9: you got the nerve? What is the question you got?
- 57:17Speaker 9: Is he telling the truth of playing me for a fool?
- 57:22Speaker 9: Don't you feel fool?
- 57:24Speaker 4: Foolish?
- 57:25Speaker 2: Do you not feel fool? It don't take long to
- 57:28Speaker 2: feel fool. You feel like a fool. And if you
- 57:30Speaker 2: continue to fool with this food, you're gonna be the
- 57:33Speaker 2: fool too.
- 57:33Speaker 9: I'm just sayings, quit letting him fool you, baby. He
- 57:38Speaker 9: ain't fooling nobody. He just fooling you. He is the fool,
- 57:41Speaker 9: and you a fool if you stay with the fool, Hello,
- 57:44Speaker 9: I just fool out of it?
- 57:46Speaker 16: Yeah, with me.
- 57:49Speaker 9: And they drinking prosecco and another thing. I don't know
- 57:52Speaker 9: how that needs the house burned down. I'm really trying
- 57:54Speaker 9: to figure that out too. Do anybody know that part?
- 57:56Speaker 8: Probably another woman, somebody else's man.
- 58:00Speaker 2: She was miss.
- 58:03Speaker 9: You need to be careful with Nis, all right, play
- 58:06Speaker 9: Nissa right? And he's saying, well, who you want fool?
- 58:07Speaker 9: With but you need to step away from this man.
- 58:09Speaker 9: This is not the man you won't in your life.
- 58:11Speaker 10: All right, niece is in control.
- 58:13Speaker 8: H How the niece's house burned down, We.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Don't know that part. We have no idea whatever she
- 58:21Speaker 2: left it out. All we know is some happened in
- 58:24Speaker 2: that room. We was drinking prosecco. It jumped off. Whatever
- 58:29Speaker 2: happened in that room was good because that boy.
- 58:30Speaker 9: Was halfway sleep and now and and and what he
- 58:33Speaker 9: tried to be a little bit combat when you left.
- 58:36Speaker 9: He wanted to argue, that's just that's just somebody that.
- 58:38Speaker 7: Got done throwing her off. Yeah, that's gonna yep, you're right,
- 58:43Speaker 7: you're right.
- 58:44Speaker 10: Well, all right.
- 58:46Speaker 7: Coming up next, we're gonna hear part two of the
- 58:48Speaker 7: Strawberry Letter. We're gonna hear Junior's response at twenty three
- 58:51Speaker 7: minutes after uh and today's strawberry letter. Subject is a
- 58:56Speaker 7: small bottle of prosecco and a straw. We'll get back
- 58:59Speaker 7: into it right after this.
- 59:00Speaker 8: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 59:04Speaker 7: All right, we're gonna recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 59:07Speaker 7: is a small bottle of prosecco and a straw. All right,
- 59:11Speaker 7: This woman wrote in she's been dating a guy for
- 59:14Speaker 7: nine months. He lives with his mom, she says, temporarily.
- 59:19Speaker 7: And guess who else lives there?
- 59:20Speaker 8: His ex girlfriend.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Her name is Nissi, and Nissi lives with them because
- 59:26Speaker 7: her house burned down. And we don't know why niece's
- 59:28Speaker 7: house burned down, but that's why she's living with her
- 59:31Speaker 7: ex boyfriend and her ex boyfriend's mom now. His mom
- 59:36Speaker 7: told the new girlfriend, the woman who wrote the letter,
- 59:40Speaker 7: that he and Nissi used to date. Okay, because he
- 59:45Speaker 7: the boyfriend tried to downplay the relationship that he had
- 59:49Speaker 7: prior with Nissi. You know, all that ain't nothing, That
- 59:52Speaker 7: ain't nothing, but his mom told her to reel all right,
- 59:55Speaker 7: so he the boyfriend also said that you know, Nissy's
- 59:58Speaker 7: in the past, you're my future. Let's forget about that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: So one Sunday, Nissi called and asked the boyfriend to
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: come over there immediately. She said, come home immediately. So
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: guess what the boyfriend did. He went over there immediately.
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: He was gone for hours. The girlfriend kept calling, trying
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: to get in touch with them, make sure everything was okay.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: He never answered. He never answered, so she went over
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: there to see what was going on.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Then Nissi.
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: She rang the doorbell. Eventually Nissie came to the door.
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: She told her that her boyfriend was in his room. Yeah, eventually, yeah,
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: and you know, not right away, not right away. So
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: when she went to the room, the girlfriend went in
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: the room. He had a bottle of prosecco with a
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: straw in it next to the bed. He was acting
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: like he was so sleepy he couldn't talk. Now, remember
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: this was on Sunday. The first thing she asked was
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: whose drink it was, and he said because she wanted
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: to see if she would catch him in a lie,
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: and she did that. He said he had planned to
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: drink it earlier that day, but he didn't. Bottle was cold.
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: It was like they just popped it open. So he
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: was busting in a lie right there. He kept acting
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: like he was too tired, like I said, and uh,
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: she said, So you know what, I'm gonna let you
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: and Nissi go back to doing whatever you all were
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: doing together.
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: I left.
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: She left, and then the next day he called her
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: and said he was so sorry, so and he knows
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: how things must have looked. He wants he wants you
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: he wants me, not Nissi, and he wants her to
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: stop accusing him of messing with Nisi. So the woman
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: who wrote the letter wants to know what else could
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: it be? Is he telling the truth or playing her
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: for a fool? Now, Tommy and I both said, yeah,
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: he's playing you for a fool. He's playing you for sure, Junior.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: What do you say?
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: My question is, why are we talking about his bottle?
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:01:49Speaker 10: This whole little about prosecco and a straw? Are we
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: talking about? First of all? This here's my other problem.
- 1:01:57Speaker 10: What grown man lived with his mama and his and
- 1:02:00Speaker 10: got a straw? That's it? What's all we talking about?
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: A grown man?
- 1:02:06Speaker 15: He's sipping our prosecco with a straw. That's the real
- 1:02:10Speaker 15: question I get. I can't even I can't get to
- 1:02:13Speaker 15: the girlfriend to ask nothing until I get past why
- 1:02:16Speaker 15: are you sitting up here lying with a straw in
- 1:02:19Speaker 15: your mouth?
- 1:02:19Speaker 10: I haven't when the last time time you had a
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: straw in your mouth?
- 1:02:24Speaker 22: A straw?
- 1:02:26Speaker 15: Where where when it has your index finger and your
- 1:02:29Speaker 15: thumb met around a straw?
- 1:02:30Speaker 10: When the last time you did that? I can't even
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: get Come on, this is what we're talking about. Yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: I tell you right now.
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: You know what you need to do.
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: You need to leave proscco alone. You know what I
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: ain't nobody. You need to change your drinking. What I need?
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: She changed your drink? You need?
- 1:02:46Speaker 15: You know, you don't even need one. You need you need,
- 1:02:47Speaker 15: you need to sign it. I feel it, don't don't
- 1:02:50Speaker 15: know a bottle of sweating. Don't nobody even ask when
- 1:02:53Speaker 15: a decided bottle sweating? Nobody even look at pure light,
- 1:02:57Speaker 15: pure life, good water. Don'tbody have asked is that cold?
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Is that cold?
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: Who draking that? Nobody even asked these questions. That's what
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: you're messing up. You got prosecco in your mama house.
- 1:03:07Speaker 16: With a straw.
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: Then we're talking about Oh nah no, na, no.
- 1:03:12Speaker 15: No, nah, n ain't the problem This prosecco and this
- 1:03:16Speaker 15: straw the issue I'm having?
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: What is NISSI doing?
- 1:03:22Speaker 15: And then hold on you, you questioned if you got
- 1:03:24Speaker 15: the question prosecco and a straw, how do you think
- 1:03:27Speaker 15: this is a whole relationship?
- 1:03:29Speaker 10: How do you think it's a relationship?
- 1:03:31Speaker 15: Y'all even got The real issue is the ladies live.
- 1:03:34Speaker 15: Your ex girlfriend lived with your mama.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: That's the issue. You're talking about prosecco.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: Her house burned down?
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: How I'm with Tommy? How this house burned out and
- 1:03:43Speaker 10: you stayed with my mama too?
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: You know what?
- 1:03:46Speaker 10: Where was these women when I was growing up? That's
- 1:03:48Speaker 10: what I mean? Where was these crazy women when.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I was growing up?
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: No, No, everybody want me to be accountable. I got
- 1:03:55Speaker 10: to be a relationship. That's what I got to do.
- 1:03:59Speaker 10: What I had to do. I had to be a
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: whole I had to be a whole boyfriend. He get
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: to take a day off, he chooses. Now he got
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: prosecco and a straw. No, no, no, sure, it don't
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: work like that. It don't work like that. We have
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: dream calling, ask you something? What the last time?
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: What the last time?
- 1:04:20Speaker 10: Calling?
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: You've seen?
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: You seen Tosh with a straw? Just just pick that up?
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:04:25Speaker 10: And Chick fil A?
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Now that lemonade? I can straw that.
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: Yeah, I can prosecco. Oh he disrespects you. Here's here's
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: the party I'm mad at. He disrespects you. He didn't
- 1:04:41Speaker 10: even get a wine glass for your ass. He just
- 1:04:43Speaker 10: took a straw to the bottle and made you believe it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 10: It don't look like this that's this is crazy.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: When you get busted, your volume go up.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what's.

- 1:08:54Speaker 7: We have brought in some new women that I do
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: not think should be in the group because they use profanity,
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: they wear short skirts and clothes that look like underwear,
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: and they can't talk without saying little catchphrases and waving.
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: Their hands in the air.
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: Should I give a presentation on ladylike behavior or do

- 1:12:30Speaker 7: a while and never said a word to him.
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: Uh huh.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: So he thinks he's getting away with it. Should I
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: go ahead and see what's up with her? Or ask
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: him first?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: What that's a lot happening? It's a lot, it's a

- 1:19:25Speaker 10: seen it? Yeah, I saw that.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: I saw pictures of it.
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: But why every year looked like Draymond just beating like

- 1:20:28Speaker 2: with butter.
- 1:20:30Speaker 13: Draymond riots for his team because he was doing all.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: That to help out Clay Thompson. He was the biggest Clay.
- 1:20:35Speaker 9: So but you have to protect the light skin because
- 1:20:38Speaker 9: they're not gonna fight for themselves.
- 1:20:43Speaker 10: I don't even think like playing basketball. I don't think

- 1:21:01Speaker 9: I don't know if I'm doing too much or am
- 1:21:03Speaker 9: I am? I just am I overthinking that? So my mother,
- 1:21:08Speaker 9: all right, my mother decides that she's going to go
- 1:21:12Speaker 9: with a friend from Houston to Savannah.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: George all right. And I'm like, all right, all right,
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Mama cool. So I call her. She lets me know.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I call a couple of days later. I said, Mama,
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: you're good. What's going on?
- 1:21:24Speaker 9: And I forgot everything she told me. She said, yeah, Babe,
- 1:21:26Speaker 9: we on our way. We roll into Savannah. I said, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 1:21:29Speaker 9: y'all driving She said yeah. I said, you did not
- 1:21:33Speaker 9: say that. Just say nothing bout no driving. I'm thinking

- 1:21:40Speaker 9: She she needed to keep her car because she's gonna
- 1:21:42Speaker 9: stay there. But I'm gonna fly back on Sunday. So
- 1:21:46Speaker 9: my question to y'all, because I feel like now I
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: am the adult. I feel like I'm the parent now
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: my mother is the child. Yeah, you know, I feel
- 1:21:56Speaker 9: like you can't just be leaving town and not giving me.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: You can't.
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: You gotta run this by me. You gotta give some approval.
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: You gotta get approval, Mama eighty one. I need approval.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: You can't just be running like.
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: Like you want to, right, That's true.
- 1:22:11Speaker 10: So Tommy, are you saying your mother needs permission?
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. I mean, I haven't said that
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: to her, but you.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: Can't say it like that. It's not gonna go well.
- 1:22:21Speaker 9: If you say that when she want to go fishing,
- 1:22:24Speaker 9: fan you run on down there to the lake, run
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: down at the galvest and gone on go fishing. But
- 1:22:28Speaker 9: all this but to Savannah. I google that from Houston
- 1:22:31Speaker 9: to Savannah. I was like, this is fourteen hours, I said.
- 1:22:34Speaker 10: I called her back.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: I said, this is fourteen hours. What are you doing?
- 1:22:38Speaker 9: She was like, no, no, no, We're not gonna try
- 1:22:40Speaker 9: it at night, baby, We're gonna stop and sleep somewhere.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: I say, for where. Tell I'm how call you when
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: we get it? When it get dark?
- 1:22:48Speaker 9: Then I watched this dark then when I then when
